Starting point is 00:00:00 I would like to formally apologize for suggesting we all watch Biodome. I couldn't tell you a single thing that happened. Because, and I mean this with the highest and utmost disrespect, it was very bad. Hi, I'm Taylor from Aubrey, Australia. Hi, I'm Amelia and this is Walter from Perth, Western Australia. Hey, I'm Kelsey from McKenexpo, Pennsylvania. And I approve this podcast. Welcome to the Tony and Ryan podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:40 My name is Ryan. I'm here with Tony, last name pending. What the fuck did you just say before we hit record? Did you try to say sleigh and you said slick? I went to say sleigh and then I also started saying sick. Like, sick. Oh, sleigh. And then I went slick.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Okay, you ready to go? Slick. And I go, oh. Welcome to sales professionals training podcast. Fucking. Get your slick and Ryan on today. Get your slick sales tactics from the. top. Wow. How you she gets married and she's fucking lost the plot. I'm a different
Starting point is 00:01:16 slot. Yeah, you're really. I'm a slick slot. You're a slick slot. Just ask my husband. Um, is there anything else? We need to shake off. Get ready for. No, sorry about that though. I am sorry about that. Slick. Slick. I want let's start a thread and just, just, just look so confused. They're going to be silly and obvious, but I also say two words in one. Yeah. And can people put like ones they've said below? So I'm concentrating so hard on talking. Yeah, because you've just paid me out and you don't want to fuck up.
Starting point is 00:01:48 You know on mean girls when she says gruel? She's like, I wanted to say cool, but I started saying great. Gruel? Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, Tony's married. Yay. And we thought we'd do things you can say at a wedding and also in the bedroom. Can you just, um, put your finger in here?
Starting point is 00:02:10 Show me the ring. Not that one. Do you want to say, oh. Do you know what Tommy said to me the first day he, oh, no, like, no, no, no, no. Do you know what Tommy said to me? You can put it in here. The first time I saw him, like, after twigs and I got married, he goes, oh, show me the new stack. Oh.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Isn't that a cool way to ask that? That is a cool way to ask that. That's impressive. Tommy. That was from both of us. Tommy is a girl's girl. Is that a compliment? Tommy?
Starting point is 00:02:42 Tommy's nodding and so is Danny. I wish Lily was here. She would also be nodding. Yeah. No, she's currently in court today, legal, Lil. Yeah, she's practicing today. Yeah. She's trying to get my marriage annulled.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Yeah. Oh, I'm fucking have a nulled with you. Now this is... Let's have annulled sex. I put it in the vagina and you have a knolled. Did you want the monthly membership? No, I'll get the annals. Topical.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Topical. It is. It is. Everyone's talking about it. You may now kiss the giant. He has been this whole time. Yeah. Yeah, I was not a virgin. Just because I wore white. We know.
Starting point is 00:03:39 We've heard. The inside of my pussy. All right. You know what? I'm so glad we didn't invite our family and friends to watch us. And I am. And I stand by that. I can't wait to come down your aisle.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Can you just ask. me if I want to suck your dick. Tony, would you like to suck my dick? I do. You look great covered in white. It's the veil. Now, this is a real-life one because I was at Tony's wedding. Stop leaning too far forward.
Starting point is 00:04:21 I can see your tits. Yeah, that did happen. We've got a picture of us in the lift and it had a mirrored ceiling. and right down the boobs, right down the shabbooz. No, but there's a video. I don't think we've posted it on the internet, but of you and Bridget comparing boobs at the dinner table. Okay, Bridget and I weren't comparing boobs.
Starting point is 00:04:40 You compared our boobs for us. Let's not, let's not. And all three of us were the winner of that competition, weren't we? Ryan goes, there's the MCG and there's Tony's boobs and there's Bridget's boobs. And there's the MCG. It's the Melbourne trifecta. Three of my favorite things in my favorite city. Tony's boobs, Bridget's boobs and the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Starting point is 00:05:07 What a glorious evening. Someone also posted in the Tony and Ryan Facebook page this very question. So I've got a few tarpers additions for things you can say at a wedding and also on the bedroom. Oh my God. Amanda Cooley. Hi Amanda. That was so much fun, but I'm still finding confetti in weird places. I actually did.
Starting point is 00:05:32 So I had like a green bit of confetti. So because when we got married, they confettied her. They confettied her. And it was like multicolored like rice paper. Fun. And there was a big. I believe you're describing confetti.
Starting point is 00:05:44 But like it's like the bio. Oh, biodome. But like the biodegradable. Shut the fuck up. We're going to review biodrome today. And we both haven't looked at each other in the eye this morning. And I got a big, I don't need to touch my nipple right now. No, I think you do.
Starting point is 00:05:58 No, I actually don't. You're actually a. And that's okay. Met head actress. A big green bit went on my nipple. Oh. And it had started to like stain my skin. What about the dress though?
Starting point is 00:06:13 Yeah, like because it was in the thing. It's okay. But. Your boob or the confetti? Yeah, both. Okay, great. But yeah, anyway. When did you find it?
Starting point is 00:06:25 Yeah, it's not important. About when did you find it? That's not important. And who found it? Was it you or something? someone else. I didn't find it. Charles Adler.
Starting point is 00:06:33 You're welcome. Another Tony. Tony Pye says, I'm sorry, I didn't expect to cry. Hannah Stillyards. What a lovely spread. And it was. And this is the question everyone asks about a wedding,
Starting point is 00:06:52 but like, when, you know, you have to be polite, but everyone's thinking it. Yeah. Just into Clarkson. How much per head?
Starting point is 00:07:04 Mine's a lot. It is Tuesday. I've got a really quick confession. These are top confessions. You can send you confessions through Tony and Ryan.com. Are you there annoyingly anonymous? You can also send through normal or nars or any just fun story that you think that Tarpers would love to hear. This is a place for sharing.
Starting point is 00:07:22 So tony and Ryan.com.com. This is a cuddling confession. Cuddling? Yeah. Oh, are you a cuddler? Not really, eh? Take that the fuck. Not really.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Fuck you. Take that back. I've never seen you cuddle me. Never seen you cuddle Charles. Both a lie. I've cuddled Charles. He didn't even want it. You're not snuggly at while you sleep, though, are you?
Starting point is 00:07:49 I would be. Bridget's not. Yes. She's not. She's not. Well, because Taubes and I don't snuggle. We've got separate dunas. We do, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Oh, but even like with Mabel, I'm like. Yeah. And even. How do I say this about being weird? Like, I like picking you up and giving you a big hug and throwing you over. That's not weird at all, yeah. Like a hands on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Because I like cuddling and wrestling and being silly. Yeah, you do actually. You love fun. I love fun. Well, obviously not. But when we did the name game, I gave you one of the biggest cuddles when we got it right. And then you touched me in the bottom. You know what?
Starting point is 00:08:27 I'm sorry. Yeah. I've misnomerid you. Touch and hand jobs are my love language. Yeah. I think I was thinking because I, I know that you and Bridget don't like snuggle at night, but that's because she's like, no, and she likes quiet and stuff at nighttime.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Yeah, but me and Bron. Me and Bronner snuggles. Yeah. No, you're up. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Yeah. Thank you. What are you? What's your love language? Um. Mine's physical touch and I think words of affirmation. Like gifts. Giving or receiving, you mean?
Starting point is 00:09:01 Because I think that they're. Yeah. Yeah, no, they are... Because I wouldn't say that you like to receive words of affirmation. No, that's true. I also don't like gifts or acts of service. What's the other one? Physical touch is one.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Acts of service, you also don't, because you don't like feeling like you've inconvenient someone. Yeah, I'm a fuss, yeah. And if I said, like, you did a great job, you'll go, oh no. Yeah. So I don't think that you like to receive it that way. How do you like to be loved? Oh, no, I think I'm a... Well, because physical touch is...
Starting point is 00:09:33 weird in that like it can also just be like a high five or throw an arm around and a good job and like whatever i think like so if i thought you did a great although i would fucking hate that well so this is so say where because i say that and then later you like good job i like you fucking touch you well yeah and so that's what like i think i like crunchy nut so every time i want to tell you that i love you i should get a bowl of call logs out i think that you the way that you like to receive love is like, um, effort. Yep. So it's less about it being a word or a physical touch or a gift or whatever.
Starting point is 00:10:16 But like, you love effort. But is that service? Well, let me explain what I mean because I reckon it's like, like if I bought you a gift, the cheaper but more thought, the better. Yes. And if I sort of. saw something and thought of you and sent it to you, you would feel really loved by that. So a great example of our friendship and maybe where we differ is you felt really sheepish
Starting point is 00:10:43 because you found some cheap book about Helvetica. And you're like, oh, it's just like a cheap little book. Like does it feel a bit crap? And I was like, no, this is my book. I love that it's little. I love that it's about a font because who gives a fuck. I do. Yeah. I like that. And I think that you like. Calamaro koalas. Yes. They cost 80. sense. But I think that you like being thought of or that something's reminded someone of you and you go, oh, I pre like, if I see a house, I'm like, well, obviously send that to Ryan. Actually, my love language is sending links to real estate.com. But yeah, so I think that for you, it's all it doesn't really matter what it, but it's that you like being thought of. Which is lovely.
Starting point is 00:11:21 I haven't sent you a link in a few days. I'll get back onto that. There's nothing. Nothing news hit the market. Yeah, no. It's that time of the week. Yeah. Same as you, Danielle. I'll get back to you guys. Ryan got bored of me because I'm not buying a house. Yeah, I've moved on. I've moved on. What about you? Receiving? Yep.
Starting point is 00:11:37 Probably words of affirmation. Yep. Yeah, I don't really care about gifts. Yep. Like stuff doesn't really mean that much to me. Words of affirmation, I think, physical touch sparingly. Yeah. Like, I love cuddling torbs.
Starting point is 00:11:54 I love cuddling pippa. If I really, if I'm like going through it, I really appreciate, a cuddle. Like, before we get started, sometimes I'm like, oh, I just like, not feeling good. And I just want, like, if I feel a bit sooky, like I need touch. Little rub on the back. Yeah. But I would say probably words of affirmation.
Starting point is 00:12:16 You're a good bitch, Tony Lodge. Because I, but it's one of the best bitches I know. But it's not always like, you are doing a good job. Just like, oh, yeah, like, I've thought of you. Oh, loved how you did that or that was really fun or have the line. Has big love language. missed a trick because I think one of them is feeling seen and heard. And I think that's probably mine.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Yeah. That like if we go out and we have a great time. Yeah. If you messaged me afterwards and said that was awesome, that's me, but that's me, you know? No, I had a great time at your wedding. Yeah. Did I message you the day after the wedding? I saw you.
Starting point is 00:12:56 Yes. And then you texted me all the photos because you have. I didn't have any photos for Ryan have them all. What do you think yours is Charles while Ryan texts me about coming to my wedding? I don't know how the great time was so much fun. Well, yours isn't physical touch. No, he hates that. You do like words of affirmation.
Starting point is 00:13:12 You like to be told when you've done a good job. I think that yours might be the same Charles you like to be acknowledged. I think Charles is his status credits. I want to change mine. Charles's love language is Quantis points. Charles's love language is flying business class. All right, show us your confession. This is a cuddle confession.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Get your confession out. Yeah. This is from a tap. Charles, I'm so sorry. I'm feeling a bit stressed. This iPad's very hot. So is mine. Something's happening.
Starting point is 00:13:44 This iPad's on fire. Is it the 5G? Should we have not been vaccinated? Oh my God. My iPads got bloody, it's had the vaccine. Is it hotter than usual? It feels really hot. It's hot.
Starting point is 00:13:54 It's hot. It's hot. It's burning my leg. No, it's not. Like that's, is that the heat? Yeah. It doesn't normally feel like that. Is that the same?
Starting point is 00:14:07 No, yours is no heat. Right. Fast me Tony's. Like, feel bad. Oh my God. What are you doing over there? Take it back that it's not burning my leg, you little mongrel? I'm surprised you haven't cinched your jeans.
Starting point is 00:14:21 I'm going to have to call Levi's getting other pair organized. How good of Levi's, though. I saw somebody the other day and they were wearing a pair of Levi's, and they have little cinch. like on the thing where you like take the waist. For your tiny little waist. Yeah, from my tainty waist. We should call Big Levi.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Is that just a belt? Slay though. Do you feel me on that? Is that a bell? I'm glad that you've answered your own question because yeah, it is. That's literally what it is. Danny, right down I need to order a belt. Sleigh.
Starting point is 00:14:53 Because I got a big butt. And? Pussy. You cannot lie. Oh yeah. Tell me about the thing. This is cuddle confession. I have illegal cuddles in bed with my dog when my husband leaves for work.
Starting point is 00:15:10 That's a bit of you. My husband grew up on a farm and it's very much. Well, dogs are outside. Because they're like, they're the help. Yeah, they're working. They're working. Our bedroom has always been a dog free zone. Physical dog, not style.
Starting point is 00:15:28 But the moment. It's a doggy free zone. But the moment his car leaves the driveway in the morning, the dog knows it's our time. So he doesn't like, fuck with the, he's like, well, obviously like dad. Dad's here, so we respect that. Like, the dog knows the jig. Oh, there he goes. Oh, my dad.
Starting point is 00:15:51 He watches the car leave, then sprints down the hallway and launches onto the bed. The dog is thriving. I have no plans to stop. We will cuddle illegally forever. That is beautiful. Yeah. What a wonderful crime. Yeah. In for 2026. Crimes. Good crime. Good crime is in. Crimes of love. Crimes of love. Crimes of passion.
Starting point is 00:16:13 That is so cute that the dog is just like, oh yeah, and he's turned left down there. Yeah, okay. He's not going to come back. He hasn't forgotten his lunch. Okay. That is, that's you, though. As soon as like BJ is, oh, yeah. If Bridget had a trick that she did like this when I left, she'd know she'd have to give it a few minutes because most days I'll come back and go, oh, forgot me laptop. Yep. Or I need a shit. Yeah. Or, oh, don't have my lunch. Yeah. Have you taken all that Tupperware home yet?
Starting point is 00:16:41 We'll be back after this. Hi, I'm Taylor from Aubrey, Australia. Hey, I'm Kelsey from McKennaxborough, Pennsylvania. Hi, I'm Amelia and this is Walter from Perth Western Australia. And you're listening to Tony and Ryan. Sorry, I'm back. I've got my iPad now. I just said we should... My iPad and my jumper are the same colour.
Starting point is 00:17:07 That's cute. And same as your puss. It is at the moment. Red Raw. Let's start again. I just want you to... I've got my iPad back now. I suggested we should put the iPad in the freezer for a few minutes.
Starting point is 00:17:22 And then Charles said that's exactly what Reddit said not to do. The delivery was incomparable, Charles of that. That's exactly what Reddit said not to do. It's really good. Well, better take it out then. A massive shout out, though, to a few of our champion type us over to our Patreon. Madeline Gold, good on your mudline. Thanks, Goldie.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Stacey Denise. Thanks, Stacey. Mike Norman. Slate. Courtney Lupke. Thanks, Courtney. Katie Barrett. Oh, Barrett.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Sorry, Katie Barrett. Bez-A. Might be Katie Beret. Like, like Katie Berenet. We've never been to Paris together. We have. Have we? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:05 Remember when Charles and I took you to the Eiffel Tower this morning? Oh. I'm married now. We've seen Paris together. I've seen the off shower with you. Yeah. Yeah. Bree Salamone Collins.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Oh. That sounds like a fancy bagel. Bree and salmon. Hey, Madame, what can I get you? Oh, Zutelor. Can I please have? Uh, the bris, salemone, Collins. That sounded sexy.
Starting point is 00:18:36 That sounded sexy. That sounds right. Yeah, but I think everything French sounds sexy. sexy. Oh, Zutelo, I'm a bell Tony. Can you say something that's very much not sexy but in that accent and we'll say if it works? I think I need to boo.
Starting point is 00:18:50 That does sound sexy. It's still good. Yeah. Simply fallen. Good on you. Simply fallen. Trash farmer. Same. And rosemary. Pop me on a lamb. I'm a fucking rosemary. Love to say it. It really is the last chance to try and come
Starting point is 00:19:07 to Fiji with us. Yeah. It really is. Everyone who's a champion tarpa in Patreon can enter with 25 words or less saying why do you really need a brain break? And someone's going to get selected for the final spot. We fly you to Fiji. We put you up for the week in the hotel.
Starting point is 00:19:24 We fly you home. We've got a private island for a day where we go out a little boat to our own private island. It's just us and all the other people there. And we're going to record a neft. You're going to be there. We're going to go stand up paddle boarding. We're going to see you at the breakfast buffet every morning for a week.
Starting point is 00:19:38 destroy that fucking buffet. We're actually... We're gonna make him wish we never came. Yeah. So true. We're gonna make him go, we need to order more croissants. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:47 Like, it's not enough. I am going to eat Fiji out of croissants. Same. Call... France. Call France. France.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Because... O Zed de lorch, we need more butter. Yeah. Yeah. That's going to be... There will not be... A croissant flake. left in Nardi.
Starting point is 00:20:12 That will be our legacy. And podcast story is going to be somewhere else next year because we're not going to be allowed back. You know, I've never met a ham and cheese croissant I didn't like. And this morning I made one for breakfast. Oh, it was very good. When we go to Zendend, Mabel gets a ham and cheese croissant. I love a ham and cheese croissant.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Can you ask as the waitress? Yeah, a Spencer. No, he's the coffee. He's the barista. Oh, Burista. Ruby. Ruby. Hi, I'm Ruby.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Yeah, and then basically there's like a kid's quasson or there's a regular. Yeah. So like you need to figure out which ones. Yep. Um, hey, Roobes. Roobes. Well, Ruby's a family friend. That's all right.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Nickname. Well, you know, mum's friend Michelle. Yes. Her kids, that's like Ruby's friend and they're all mates. Oh. Yeah. Hey, Roobes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:04 So. Hey, Charlie. I'll get the, the hash and maybe we'll have. Sorry, sorry, sorry, it's my first date. Sorry, that's, uh, well, it's not my first date. She's very experienced. That was a hash, like the potato hash. Did you want anything on the side, like a Hollandez or a little a oily or something?
Starting point is 00:21:21 She's in year 12 doing media studies and I showed her what Danielle made the stop motion video. And she was very impressed. Sorry. Are you having Ruby over? What did you get your fucking laptop out in the Zendin cafe? Yeah, I was like, check, cause I know you're doing media studies. Check out what Danielle made. She was very, very.
Starting point is 00:21:40 very impressed. You're officially a parent. Yeah. And you're, Danielle is your daughter and you're like, well, look at what my daughter did. Yeah. That's amazing. Well, I'm always like, ask because she's making a year 12 film and I'm always like, where are we up to? How's it looking? Like, that's really sweet. How's it? Any support to her? How's the film going groups? Have you offered any support helping her out? Not yet, but she didn't. Being an actor. She didn't have an idea yet. So I gave her some. And then a month later, I was like, so how have we got for the ideas? And she's like, I've got a great one. And it was definitely none of the ones I'm finished. Yeah. I'm sorry. So did you want any Aoli with the hash or anything?
Starting point is 00:22:10 No, that's fine. And then maybe we'll have... We've got an amazing special on granola today. Interested in that? No. We house roasted. It's like coconut, almond. It's really beautiful.
Starting point is 00:22:23 That actually sounds great. Cinnamon and we roast... Oh my God. And Spencer had some this morning. He almost choked on a nut. He would. Have some granola. No, thank you.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Have some granola. It's beautiful. I'm actually gluten-free. So... Mabel will have... It's gluten-free, the granola. Did you want some? I'll pop some down.
Starting point is 00:22:44 That sounds fantastic for whoever orders it. Granola. And some like Greek yogis, some berries. No. Some honey. Some fruit. Ruby, I'm about to kick you back to B. Or wherever the fuck you from.
Starting point is 00:22:54 If you don't take my daughter's order, which is a ham and cheese croissant. Oh, that ham and cheese croissant. Oh, big girl ham and cheese croissant. Of course. Of course. Because as you know, Mabel doesn't fuck with kids sizes when it comes to ham and cheese croissant. because like her godmother, she's never met a ham and cheese casson she doesn't like. Oh, I love that, girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Okay, so let me just run through everything again. I'm just going to say, Ruby, up top, if you mention the word garrola. Well, I won't. Don't worry about it. All right, so I'll just go through everything here. If you mentioned the word granola. I've got the large chocolate milkshake. No.
Starting point is 00:23:31 I've got the hot dog. Just the usual run. Yeah. We had seven hot dogs. Yeah. I want to work in a cafe. I think that'd be so fun. You get to chat to everybody.
Starting point is 00:23:44 You also said before we recorded, you want to do a half marathon. Yeah, it's a big day for me. I'm married now. Okay, so we need to do. Who's going to go first? Because we've both got things to say. I'll go first.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Thank you for blessing us with this film. No, I think I need to take responsibility. Can I go first? Okay. Yep, just silence another woman. You didn't want to hear Ruby, repeat your own. order. You didn't want to try your fucking granola. And now you won't, don't want to hear what I have to say about the worst movie that I've ever seen. Oh, but I'll save it. You go. Last week, I said, oh,
Starting point is 00:24:22 let's watch Biodome. Go on then. Had you seen it before? Well, I thought I had. Like back in the day or whatever. I thought I had. I told Bridgett, I was like, we have to watch Biodome. And she was like, fuck yeah. She's such a stoner from back in the day. Oh, yeah. Yeah, here's here. Yeah. Okay. No, you go first. No. I've got so much to say, but you go first. I actually don't have much to say for the first time of my life. As you know, I've got quite a good memory. Like I'm a bit of a freak for remembering shit. I couldn't tell you a single thing that happened. I think you've already covered it all. My brain went smooth and nothing from that film would attach in the form of a memory because and I mean this with the highest and utmost disrespect it was very bad I am a fan of a
Starting point is 00:25:17 ship movie I love the first Scooby-Doo movie I love Baywatch with the rock in it I love bad films no but the movies you've described had like a moving story it was just honestly like I felt myself getting baked from watching it we got so angry because we were just like, fuck. It's so annoying. Can this move? Can this story move forward? The one stage there was like a 25 minute montage of them just being fuckheads.
Starting point is 00:25:46 And it didn't have. I looked at the time. So I love a 90 minute film. Yep. I'm like, that's the perfect length. Before I hit play, I go, oh, it's 90 minutes. It's amazing. I checked the time.
Starting point is 00:25:58 And I was like, fuck, this movie must be almost done. 45 minutes I'd watch. Yeah. Yeah. There was like. How have they crammed? a boring five-hour film into 90 minutes. How have they fit a five-minute cartoon into an hour and a half?
Starting point is 00:26:16 I've written a statement. Amazing. I would like to formally apologize for suggesting we all watch Biodone because it was fucking awful in 1996 and somehow it's gotten worse over time. I did some reading. Paned by critics has a record low score of one out of ten. on Metacritic,
Starting point is 00:26:39 Biodome is often considered to be one of the worst films ever made. Maybe for some of us who thought we liked it, forgot that when we watched it, it was 1 a.m. in some shit and we're all high as fuck. Yeah. Higher than whoever the studio exec was
Starting point is 00:26:56 when they decided to greenlight that movie. 4% on Rotten Tomatoes. That is abysmal. It's strangely 3% higher than Daddy Daycamp. See that guy in the top left? Yeah. That's Haley Bieber's dad. Stephen Baldwin.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Yeah, crazy. That is Haley Bieber's dad. Imagine her and Bieber sitting down. Oh, your dad was in a few movies. That's cool. Oh, but should we watch that? Your dad was in that, right? And Justin Bieber's like, I love that movie.
Starting point is 00:27:25 But because he is also Barney Gumble in the Flintstones Viva Rock Vegas movie. And you're laughing in a way, it's better than bio-done. Yeah, what a. He did that. from Dahmer and Greg in it. Viva Rock. Next week. No.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Yeah. No. Viva Rock. Okay. No, no, no, I've got an idea. I've got an idea. I've got an idea. Next week we're going to watch the Flintstones Viva Rock Vegas.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Then we're going to take seven years off recommending films. The way that we are going to choose the following movie, all of the movies need a link. Whether that is director or actor, we have to find a film from there. Can we watch My Mythical Morning? day with Retton Link. Yeah, it's different. So the movie that Baldwin did before this was the usual suspects. I haven't seen that.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Which is like an iconic cult, classic, amazing movie. What, like an action film? No, it's like a bit of a mystery. Crime thriller. Yeah. Oh. It's got, what's the guy in the middle called? Benicio del Toro.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Kevin Spacey, but like an amazing iconic movie. And then he goes and does Biodome and backs that up with the Flintstones. Yeah, and I mean, well done. I think he's also in an episode of Gossip Girl. Oh, I take it all back. I think he's Serena's dad. So Bridget was really excited. She's like, fuck yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:59 She's like, because Bridget's like an old stoner from back in the day. She was so angry because she was like, by the time we've got Mabel into bed and, you know, You've got finite time. Oh, like, by the end of the day, we're like, oh, finally we can relax. And then 10 minutes into this movie, we're like, what the fuck is this? And she also, as a lady of science, hated how much they disrespected the science experiment. But the whole thing, yeah. What I will say is don't take it on.
Starting point is 00:29:29 One thing, there's a lot of factually accurate stuff. So there was actually a real biodome that it was like the movie was based on. And they said a lot of the stuff was actually true, not to. Which is quite interesting. Yeah. But what is factually correct? And not a lot of people might know this, but I know this. Because how did they, what were they trying to do when they stumbled into Biodome?
Starting point is 00:29:49 Trying to get to the mall? Well, they're trying to get to the mall because he needed to pee and they thought it was a mall. Yeah. The places, when you need to pee all the time, the places you end up will surprise you. It sounds like you loved the film. No. It sounds like you're saying you loved the movie. No, but I've like ended up in some weird places because I'd,
Starting point is 00:30:09 oh god, just going to stand a piss, I'll sneak in here. And then you go, oh, I don't think I'm supposed to be in here. Yeah, sure. And I go, no, that is true. That holds up. That holds up. That is what it's like. That holds up.
Starting point is 00:30:18 I haven't ended up in a biodone, but I ended up in someone's corporate box once at the rugby. Sorry, I'm just looking for something else on my phone. I got on you texting something, bud. I'm looking for something for this story on my phone. And I just saw the text from you saying had a great time. Thanks for having me from before. You ended up in a corporate box. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:37 And then I was, and I was like, Oh, because I just went to pee and then I came out and I was like, I don't think I'm supposed to be in here. Oh, and when you were trying to leave, they went, you can't be in here and you're like, that's what I'm trying to leave. Yeah. Yeah, that's right. At the rugby or something, eh? Did you say that? I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 00:30:51 I'm so sorry. This is what it's like when you pick up your phone and I just go, I'm out. I'm over. Yeah. Now I know how annoying it is. Yeah. I'm very sorry, but I was picking up my phone to read you the text that Charles sent me at 7pm. What did say?
Starting point is 00:31:06 While he was watching this film, I feel high right now. What is this movie? Yeah. I didn't finish it. Neither. Charles, it was for work. I got 35 minutes in and I was like, how? I waited until I saw Jack Black and then I left.
Starting point is 00:31:20 And they were only on the screen for a split second. A bit of an undertone in the movie is people pretending to be environmentalists to get laid. Yeah. What's that all about? Well, is it just, was it just the time? It's like, hey girls, we're off to serve the three. rainforest and they're like, oh, cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:41 But was it just that era? Yeah, but they really made a point of like making them look dumb. Yeah. Oh, well, they achieved that. Yeah. I don't think there's a need to over intellectualize this film. I think there is. Because, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Have you ever been fingered at an environmental rally? No. Well, then that's why you don't get it. Yeah, and yeah, it's not, I'm not the target audience. Yeah, clearly. So what you did? Come out, 96.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Yeah. Yeah. How old do you reckon you were when you watched it like back in the day? Oh, I still don't reckon I watch. My mate CalZMC loved Biodome, which will shock no one who knows Calzianc or just assume what someone named Calzianc would be into.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Yeah. And it was definitely like after a party, we get back to his place. He's got the fucking cassette on the shit TV in the VHS, yeah, in the back shed where we used to sleep. Yeah. And he goes, oh, I'll chucked biodome on. I go, yeah, man, you're joking on. And probably saw the first 10 minutes of it eight times. But never made it to the end.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Yeah. And that's my recollection of it. Yeah. Well, my recollection of it being awesome is just Calzianc saying it was awesome. But he liked it. Yeah. Yeah. But now that I've seen some of it.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Also, what the fuck is Kylie Minogue doing in that film? She was excellent. I will say that the Australian accent is very familiar in that. Why is she in that? I don't know. Where was she in her rise to stardom that she ended up in biodome? What year did she get married on Neighbors? No, that...
Starting point is 00:33:20 If it's 95. That is relevant. It is relevant. Because that would have been her biggest, like... 1987. She got married in Neighbors. Oh. Kylie.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Kylie, no, my God. What do you think was going through the rider's minds when they went, You know it would be a great scene if the guys snuck into their beds. The girls' beds and groped them on the tits. While that was sleeping. Yeah. And then the director went, love it. Leave it in.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Leave it in. Leave it in. Because the whole thing, I was going to say like, that has an age bell. I don't think that was fine at the time. No. Well, it was not. Yeah. I'm like, strangely fine enough to be in a movie.
Starting point is 00:34:06 But then they did shit like. because it was like, oh, the girl, like, I was just, like, we were like,
Starting point is 00:34:12 on the cap being like, what the fuck? And I was like, like, oh, silly boys. I'm like, not okay.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Like the whole movie. No, it's a, it's a shocker. It's a shocker from go to woe. I can't imagine that Kyle Minogue is proud that that's on her IMDB.
Starting point is 00:34:31 I disagree. I think, I reckon if you go Kylie, mate. Mate. Career top three. Yeah. And she'll go,
Starting point is 00:34:40 Oh, showgirl tour, beating cancer, biotome. Spinning around, get in there? No, that'd be fourth. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Maybe fifth. Yeah. I had some good times in the 2000s.
Starting point is 00:34:51 That time when I came back to the neighbor's reunion finale and didn't talk in the episode. They couldn't afford to pay me to remember any lines. That's probably five. Side just to their rent. Should we try the coconut milk? Oh. No, I think it's going to be yum. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:04 So when did you mention it? On Thursday, mentioned. Yeah, let me read the, you'll love to see it. It was from, yeah, Chloe Erickson. Hi, Chloe. Hi, Chloe. Tapa Chloe. Yeah. Just said. I said that last week as well. Oh, they didn't message Torbs back. Yeah. There is this coconut water, raw sea is the brand. Pistachio and white chocolate is the flavor. I am a changed woman and have never looked back. All right. Charles is describing. It's a bit weird like me.
Starting point is 00:35:38 It's an acquired taste like me, said Chloe Erickson. We will be tasting it now. Oh, it's got a color. Oh, it's green. I don't like that. Don't like that. Like I get it, but I don't like that. Oh, no cheers or chat or...
Starting point is 00:35:55 I just needed to do it otherwise I didn't think I would. What do you have to say to Chloe Erickson? This... Oh, the smell is foul. That's why I was like, if I don't do it, I'm not going to. That is... This is, this is the biodome of coconut water. Charles, try this.
Starting point is 00:36:16 It's nuts. Oh, we made you get it. So. Oh, I'm glad. Oh, hang on. I'm glad that Erickson never called turp, to, I also did shake it because you're supposed to like shake.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Yep. Those things. The drink or that boutet? Sorry. It's the pistachio. Water's doing things to me. It's strangely more so, eh? Like, it's not nice, but you can't stop drinking it.
Starting point is 00:36:45 I don't like that. Ryan does. He's chucking it. Who are you trying to impress? So now I've got to deal with you for the rest of the day with a sore tummy because you drank all that weird drink. So don't. I'm about to piss myself.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Don't want. Sorry, I'm silly because of the pizzage of the white chocolate. broken out water. Just like I said. Should we put in crunchy nut? Oh. That would be delicious. I'm going home.
Starting point is 00:37:19 You do that. I'm going on. Crunchy nun and pistachio and what? You can do that at 3 o'clock today. Excellent. Charles is leaving at 259. No, we're all living at 3.30. That's not starting to get weird.
Starting point is 00:37:33 I've got to you love to see it. Is it 3.30 now? Because I already feel a bit weird. Oh, that milk is yucky. I don't like that. Charles. Oh, sorry. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:37:44 Oh, that was chunky. I think there was chunks of pistarsing. Might have been chucks of twigs. I did put twigs in there. I'm going to love to sit from Natalie Reid. This is very, very good. Oh, that's Natalie Reid. I'm going to Natalie read it out.
Starting point is 00:37:59 In the past month, I've gained a foundation degree in payroll management, which is my job. Yep. Moved into a lush four-bed house that my partner and I purchased together. and got the keys to my brand new car after years of driving around like dusty, rusty, rust bombs. That she didn't write that? Yeah, no, we know. We know.
Starting point is 00:38:23 We know. I was working full time while getting my degree. Impressive. And all of the recent wins are preparing me for my biggest win, which is that my partner and I are going through the adoption process. And she said, and I'm hoping that I'll eventually become a mom. Huge. She's in her mid-40s.
Starting point is 00:38:39 And she said, I thought this would never have. happen for us but everything's coming together and nadley says ryan's adoption story was inspirational for when i felt out of options that's really beautiful you're not you're fucked that that's really beautiful but i'm so drunk on pistachio and white chocolate and nudley's just shared a really beautiful story don't be a dick i'm just i think i want to watch biodome that's how fucked up i am from the pistachio water oh natalie natalie that is that's such a huge effort it's beautiful and very impressive what you've set yourself up for. You've got a degree while you're working full time.
Starting point is 00:39:17 That's fucked up. That's fucking crazy. Yeah, well done. I barely work full time while I went full time. Great job, Natalie. If I can have any recommendations for anything to do with the adoption process, it would be to avoid coconut water with pistachio and white chocolate in it. It's not good for you.
Starting point is 00:39:38 It's not good for anyone. Don't let Chloe Erickson took you into trying it. Chloe Erickson will try to try to. convince you otherwise and she wrong and she'll make it sound great and she wrong yeah my love to see it is from joseph hi joseph um you know how we're talking about wristy blankets the other week yes um for those of you playing along at home it's a blanket that you put over the lap of you and your partner while you get a risty probably not partner because wristy blanket sounded like it happened in the house party era it's so interesting you bring up this point because i could not agree more
Starting point is 00:40:08 it is for teenagers yeah like it is for school camps it is for in the back of the car and there's heaps other people in the car Yeah, yeah, yeah Like it's like a... And this is where Joseph has just really,
Starting point is 00:40:19 really missed the mark. Okay. Is this he love to see it? Yeah, well, he said it's my love to see it and I'm like, Joseph, no. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Joseph. Joseph says my love to see it is Aldi now has two person blankets for sale aka my new wristy blanket. I bought it for my wife and I and let's just
Starting point is 00:40:42 say it needed to be washed after the first afternoon. Joseph, you're married. I'm assuming in a house you have with your wife. What the fuck are you doing, Joseph? Joseph, there is a lipstick blanket. It's not for married people. She's into a blanket in the,
Starting point is 00:41:10 your own home. forgetting a huge pilot story. Oh, hand job's a great time the fuck up. No, no, no, no, you're forgetting a huge part of that story in the afternoon. Oh, no, it's a great time. No, what? It's a summer of H-J's.
Starting point is 00:41:23 You can't just get a hand job in the afternoon in a house that you're on by yourself that you need to share a handjob blanket with. That is great. Oh, who's being silly now? It sounds like Joseph's had a bit too much pistachio and white chocolate raw sea coconut water. Although that blanket probably smells like coconut water now. I'm going to piss.
Starting point is 00:41:45 I'm actually going to piss myself. I'll see you guys. And you know what? Thank fucking God he's gone. I'll just say, let's enjoy, let's enjoy some time by ourselves without that. Love you. See you tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Do I know what to buy a dough? Charles, if anyone mentions buy a dope to me ever again, I'm going to start to cry. I honestly, while I was watching that movie, I felt like my hair started to fall out.
