Starting point is 00:00:00 Jack Antonoff. He's, I believe, single now. Yeah, yeah, he thinks me in a Korean barbecue restaurant. Hi, I'm Luisana from Indianapolis in the US. Hi, this is Antonela from Kunitz, Spain. Hi, this is Tam in Toronto, Canada. And I have this podcast. This podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Welcome to the Tony and Ryan podcast. My name is Ryan. This is Dr. Author, last name pending Tony, pending last name. Yeah. People often don't recall why you are a doctor, and that's because, because you tick doctor up when you sign up for a Maya 1 card. Yes, it's right. Just to clarify any confusion.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Yeah. I'm pretty sure that if you Google me, it's like, is Tony Lodge, I have a real doctor? Well, at my department store. Yeah, they will tell you yes. If that's where he did your research. So I've just realized we're wearing the exact same thing. Green jumper, blue, jeans, white t-shirt.
Starting point is 00:01:11 Sucks. And the same burks. best friends best friends we're going to do the whole pod like this for those playing on home our burks are touching yep we are looking good
Starting point is 00:01:23 yeah although is it for us different flavors though same thing but different flavors that's a nice cardigan it's fun and bright just like you are I love it
Starting point is 00:01:33 it's fun and bright just like you are that's beautiful yours looks warm and cozy just like a hug from Dr Ryan John yours looks dull and calm Yours looks like full of shit. No, but that's not what I said. Well, I'm actually about to talk about being full of shit and I'd appreciate your respect. You go to poo now?
Starting point is 00:01:50 Always. You look good today. I agree. Sleigh. Slick. Slick. IBS Queens. IBS kings.
Starting point is 00:02:04 There is no way we're sitting through the Odyssey that goes for three hours in one go. Yeah. It's just not possible for us. Like three hours. hours. The Odyssey is three hours. You're going this weekend? Are you fucking me?
Starting point is 00:02:20 Three. Fuck off. Oh my God. Yeah, Tobs not going this weekend. The Odyssey is three hours long. IBS Queens, IBS Kings. There's no way we're getting through that in one sitting. I would like to send a shout out to the Australian lifestyle publication, man of many, for writing the article, the best times to piss during the Odyssey.
Starting point is 00:02:48 really doing the most and they say journalism is struggling well fucking go read man of many because they are giving us the shit we want and need literally they should do that for every film because it's not just long films you need to know yeah
Starting point is 00:03:04 I could have pissed 50 times during biodome just to get out of the room just to leave though yeah for those playing along at home the 27 minute mark Matt Damon is bragging about how easy it'll be nothing at stake yet Oh, hang on, are there any spoilers?
Starting point is 00:03:18 No, no. And now, because they don't fuck with spoilers. Yeah. Oh, the last one maybe. Don't say it then because people want to see it. And I also don't know anything about it. There's actually no spoilers. That's good.
Starting point is 00:03:28 This is a service. One hour in Matt Damon is sitting around being anxious about Poseidon. Like, you don't miss any of the story if you take two minutes there. Yeah. Like you can come back and not be like, fuck what happened. Yeah. An hour 45. There's some like very like,
Starting point is 00:03:46 big visual things that are like really cool to see. But again, there's no storyline that is missed. Okay. Yep. Because I think there's a lot of scenes where they're like out at sea and it's like really cool in the waves and stuff. Is it a boat film? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Cool. Yeah. I just imagine there's like, is it a thriller? Is it a comedy? It's a boat film. You know? The genre? Like, like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:12 I'm there with Chantanin. What is it about? Nah, you know what? I'll be surprised on the day. Do you know what? It's the oldest story in history. No, it's new. It's just come out.
Starting point is 00:04:25 I am not doing this. I'm not doing this. So my problem isn't the peeing. I can hold it. And I am a master pee holder. I really am. Like I can hang on. My problem is the boredom.
Starting point is 00:04:40 And then I get a little bit wriggly. I'm a little wriggle pot after about 60 minutes. So two hours and 10 minutes in. a beggar goes up to the palace according to men of many this is your last chance to piss or shit or stretch your legs
Starting point is 00:04:56 like when you see that go do what you need to do get back because then it fucking goes down then it's on because then I often go if I wait too late and then it's like and it turns out the killer is
Starting point is 00:05:06 and I'm like oh say yeah I've held on as long as I can actually can I tell you the most embarrassing that's ever happened actually not even top 50 but
Starting point is 00:05:15 Yeah Going to take a fist And during a film And walking back in As the credits come down Because you were like I just can't hold it anymore Oh but you did
Starting point is 00:05:25 I didn't know like it was about And then you come back in You go oh Oh I probably could await it Yeah That's when you need the little Play bar across the bottom Yeah
Starting point is 00:05:32 Oh and then But what happened Oh it was It was the dad was the killer And you go oh yeah Oh No I don't need to say it Yeah
Starting point is 00:05:40 Odyssey Odyssey Odyssey Odyssey Oder C Odie Odyssey Out at sea
Starting point is 00:05:47 No like the name of the ocean is Odder C Oh is it Yeah like there's the Tasman Sea No ODA ODA
Starting point is 00:05:58 I thought you were saying OTA No I have got an article here Mm-mm Oh my God you've been doing a lot of reading online Two articles in a row Thank you South Carolina this is out of
Starting point is 00:06:09 A man had a vision like he just was like I think I know the lotto numbers like that's a Raven yeah and he goes and buys a ticket and wins $500,000 dollars
Starting point is 00:06:24 no way and you know it's one of those like oh the local news went like oh you know how to end up and he goes I just I saw the numbers that's amazing I'm not a regular player I just one day was like no
Starting point is 00:06:38 I've just I just know the numbers I like that. That's amazing. So I asked Tarpers if that had any like visions, psychic predictions, crazy dreams. And I just, huge asterisk. Dream chat can get crazy. It's traditionally not a favorite area.
Starting point is 00:07:03 I love this shit. I love it so much. I've had dreams that people were pregnant and then being like, I had a dream that you were pregnant. They're like, I am. Yeah. Oh, did you write in? I just love this stuff.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Tapa Mari. Hi, Mari. Marie Fenton. Is it Marie or Mari? It's Mari Marie. Great. Which is crazy that you know that, psychic. I dreamt that my ex and I should swap partners with this other couple because we actually
Starting point is 00:07:34 just like, the four of us used to go out and it was kind of like, oh, I just, she was like, I just dreamt that we ended up with the other one. Yeah Soon after She gets dumped The Tapa Murray She got dumped She got dumped yeah
Starting point is 00:07:50 He's now Like the now ex Is with the other girl And I'm now married to the other guy And we have two children together Oh my God She like kind of had this dream And saw it play out
Starting point is 00:08:04 And then wakes up Gets dumped And then a few years later That's how it panned out So like So you go I had this dream that imagine if we and they were and he went oh well funny that because I'm breaking up with you. Yeah but I don't know if she told him the dream.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Oh. Like it kind of just and she was like oh my God I like envisage this. Because that's where I'm skeptical on then the dream came true because maybe she wakes up and goes I had the craziest dream and the guy goes, that's actually a great idea. Or like I dreamed this happened. So I like I dreamt I was drinking a latte. So guess what? Yeah. Oh, sucky.
Starting point is 00:08:40 I woke up. Waving a McFlurry. Yeah. And guess what I had? Now I'm eating one. I actually dreamt me other night that I was dating Jack Antonoff. Taking. Dating Jack Antonoff.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Dating Jack Antenoff. Taking him where. No, dating Jack Antonoff. Oh, I had that because he's, I believe, single now. Yeah. Yeah, he thinks of me in a Korean barbecue restaurant. And we were waiting for the bus. And I was like, can't you afford an Uber?
Starting point is 00:09:09 Aren't you mega rich? Yeah. And then I told Torbs about it and he was like, okay. And he figured you at the bus stop or after the fingering? No, he figured me at the restaurant. At the Korean Barbecue. Yeah. And then he took you home on a bus. Which is random, right? Listen to it. Get this.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Oh, we haven't heard the crazy bit yet. Okay. Strap the fucking. So we were at the, this is actually fucking crazy. We were at Korean barbecue. But we got sashimi. Isn't that random? It's not random, that's just illegal. Like, isn't, yeah, crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:43 They wanted to Jack Antonoff, that girl left him. That's fucking mad behavior. Oh yeah, do you want this beautiful cream barbecue? No, I'll get sashimi please. And at the restaurant, there were like several other tables all filled. One of the tables was filled with people I went to high school with. One of the tables was filled with people that I went to Wopop up with. And one of the tables was filled with you guys.
Starting point is 00:10:05 And I walked into. Well, I walked into the restaurant and I walked around to all the tables. like, oh, am I here to see you guys? And they're like, oh, we didn't invite you. And everybody said that even you guys were like, we didn't invite you. And I was like, oh, okay. And then Jack was like, no, Tony, our friends are over here. I went and sat with other rich people.
Starting point is 00:10:23 But I don't know who they were. Like other than yourself. No, no, no, like Jack Antonoff's friends. Right. Okay. And did everyone know in the restaurant that you were getting fingered? I don't know. It was like a sleepy, a sneaky handjob blanket maneuver.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Yeah, maybe it was that. But why would we get sashimi? at a cream barbecue place, you know what I mean? That's so crazy. Definitely the strangest part of this story. Yeah. But you guys were like, no, you're not here. Like, we haven't invited you here.
Starting point is 00:10:47 And it was like all these different phases of my life, but we're like, you're not invited to us. Is there something that you'd like to talk about? Or is this, is this uncovering something? Why don't know? Maybe, maybe you've just moved on and to a new chapter. What? Like, I'm moved on from my high school era.
Starting point is 00:11:03 I've moved on from my Wopper era. I'm getting fingered by Jack Antonoff now. Yeah. And then maybe it's just the metaphor. for moving on and getting fingered. Yeah, that's what I mean, because now you're in this, you're, oh, I'm married now. I'm living this new life over east. But I'm not without you, like, you guys.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Oh, like today. And Torbs, no, and Torbs is also part of my Wopper era, technically, I guess. Which table was here? He wasn't there. Oh, yeah, didn't take the divorce well, I guess. Three days in. Jesus. Yeah, anyway, isn't that crazy?
Starting point is 00:11:39 Next one. Beat that. Tapa Lara. Do we need the horse photo? Are you okay? Are you? I just feel like that was a really sad. Besides getting fingered by Jack Antonoff.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Yeah, he's like, I got fingered in a Korean barbecue. That's crazy. We know. That's crazy. I love Korean barbecue. Korean barbecue loves you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:08 All right. In the comments, don't say the craziest place. been fingered is, just say the place. You know what I mean? I don't want to get, I don't want to get flagged by Spotify or YouTube or Facebook by using overly using the word fingered.
Starting point is 00:12:22 What's mine? Korean barbecue. Yeah, I'd probably. But that was a dream chance. But like, so in the comments, if you just say like the words, the circus. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:32 You go, oh, okay. All like. Korean barbecue. For example. Whilst sashimi was being ordered. Yeah. Isn't that bizarre? Tarpalara.
Starting point is 00:12:45 A friend who'd passed away came to me in a dream, hugged me, and then handed me a baby wrapped in a pink blanket. Soon after, I found out I was pregnant with a baby girl. Oh, that's amazing. I love that. I like that. Doesn't that just? Yeah, no, I, that, you would feel really spooked in the moment, but then feel really special after that you're like, wow, that was connection.
Starting point is 00:13:16 That's amazing. That's very, thank you for sharing, Lara. Tarp and Maddie. Now, this is one of the great things you'll see. I get psychic feelings when I walk into certain places because I just know I'm about to see someone specific. Oh. I'll walk into a shopping centre and be like, I'm going to see my old maths teacher. Or a friend or a celebrity.
Starting point is 00:13:38 I just know the second I walk into a venue. I just know I'm going to see someone. Know that you're going to see someone or the exact person. Like as in the exact person. Yeah. Like, I'm going to see Ryan John. Last week I walked into a shopping mall and just had a feeling I was going to see the most recent bachelorette from the TV show. I thought he said celebrity.
Starting point is 00:14:00 And sure enough, I saw her in a food court getting sushi. So she gets to the food court. You goes, there she is. I like that. She was on ABC's The Bachelorette recently. Now she's eating sushi in a food court. Like Taylor Frankie Paul? Wasn't she the most recent Bachelorette?
Starting point is 00:14:15 Which one of them? Taylor Frankie Paul, it's her whole name. Because she's on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives as well. Is that the one that getting cancelled and shit? Yeah. She wouldn't eat sushi in a food court. Well, that's why I was like, didn't sound like it. I just said the most recent bachelorette.
Starting point is 00:14:31 I get sushi at a Korean player, so I don't know. But the bachelor was there with her now fiancé. Oh. So I don't know if that rules, rules in or rules out anyone. Yeah, I don't know. didn't mention anything about Korean barbecue though or Jack Antenov interesting this story doesn't check out for me
Starting point is 00:14:47 yeah I'm not sure about that yeah but please send through your psychic visions and feelings who was it that you saw at the tire place Mr Pringle you saw Mr Pringle at the Thai restaurant the Thai place not tire place that's right did you have a feeling before that
Starting point is 00:15:07 yeah I was feeling Thai that night Then I ordered someone and got it and saw Mr Pringle. Yeah, yeah. Also, should we just do a game that's like, where have you seen someone that was once on The Bachelor? I could play that game because I saw Maddie J at the Bondi Icebergs in his underwear. What? Yeah, in his budget smugglers.
Starting point is 00:15:29 I told you this story. Usually you have to pay to see him get that rig out. We walked down there and he was there and he was all wet and he was only in his budgey smugglers. And he gave me a massive half. and I was like, I feel uncomfortable because I was floed. Like your dick is on me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:46 And it was. How was it? Wet. I've actually got some beef. With me, because I'm being silly today. No. Oh. With Matthew Johnson.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Who's that? Maddie J. Oh. He's that his name. Do you think his birthday was Maddie J? No, but I didn't know what the J stood for. The J was because there was another Matt on that season of The Bachelor. Oh.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Oh, Slay. Maddie Slate? Maddie Slate. How does one... Beep. Keep so busy, have three kids and still be jacked. Like, go fuck yourself. I reckon he has signed a deal with the devil.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Yeah. Because it's just, there's no way. And the devil goes, look, I can only allow that if you rub your wet dick on Tony Lodge at icebergs. And he goes, I'll figure that out. When am I going to do that? that happened. Wait to you hear what Jack Antonoff's deal was. Hi, I'm Luisana from Indianapolis in the US.
Starting point is 00:16:51 Hi, this is Tam in Toronto and Canada. This is Antonala from Coney, Spain. And you're listening to Tony and Brian. Welcome back, a massive shout-out to all the people that knew that Maddie J's name was in fact Maddie J. A few of our champion tarpers over at our page. on Miriam, good on you, Miriam. Can we call today's episode a former bachelor wiped their dick on Tony Lodge? Probably can't say dick, eh?
Starting point is 00:17:25 Yeah. What about the word wiped? Wiped, I reckon, is fine. Okay. Because you can wipe like a table. So true. I've heard. Just asked Maddie's table.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Oh, who's going to clean up that table? I got it. For those playing along at home, I just did some physical comedy and it was not pretty. Rubbed your dick on me. On me table. On me table. Brianna Ferguson, good on your, Brianna. Who's the table?
Starting point is 00:18:00 I'm sorry, we're silly. We're being silly. We're talking about it. It's actually hard to not be silly when you've heard the term fingered by Jack Antonoff at a Korean barbecue. Yeah. Should that be what the episode's called? Probably, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Jack Antonoff fingered this celebrity out of the Korean barbecue. Brianna Ferguson, good on your Brianna. Emma the epic, good on you, Emma. Mark Shaw, probably related. to Pauley Shore from Biodone. I hope not for her sake. For my sake. Fuck.
Starting point is 00:18:28 I did have to get it together. Get it together. I really do. I'm sorry. Letitia Bill. Good on your Latisha. Kendra Appleby. Cass Kirtner.
Starting point is 00:18:40 Garth. Good on you, Gareth. Andrew Craig and Margaret. Quality, probably. Probably. Recently single. Isn't she stunning? And an excellent actor also.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Yeah. Like, because she's in once upon a time in Hollywood. day. Oh, yeah, but. Like, because it's her and her and Brad Pitt. Because she got cast. Like, you can keep talking.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Like, Leah Anato decafrio is the main. Leah Anato. Decafrio, like she's. But so. Is this a new Sweeney in that as well? Okay. I don't know. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:19:17 She pops up fourth in the cast. Oh, okay. But I read that she got cast. Margaret Qualley got cast really late because Brad Pitt shot with all of these other women and the chemistry wasn't that good. And she was like a last minute like, fuck, should we just see if this girl's any good? Really?
Starting point is 00:19:35 Yeah. And they got along really well and that's why it's her. But I don't remember any scenes where it's like those two. Well, because he picks her up in the car. Oh, she's the girl in the car. Yeah. I keep thinking she's one of the crazies at the thing. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Or maybe she's too. Yeah. But he picks her up in the car on the side of the road and it's them together. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. No, she is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Like she's really good. And they are really, it's very believable. They're like, their chemistry is really good. Yeah. I take back everything I said. No, you just didn't know who I'm doing about. I assumed, because there's a few of the like ones that are in the cult who are just like a bit crazy. And I'm like, Brad Pitt like walks past them twice.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Yeah, no, no, no. But she's the one in the car. Yeah. Imagine me being like really backing her in. Yeah. Oh, she's excellent. You're like, she's not even in it. She is in it though.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Margot Robbie gets about two. lines in that movie and she's in it. Does she say anything? Oh, who's being silly now? Oh, that's fun though. I'll allow it. We're going to Fiji. Do we need the horse photo?
Starting point is 00:20:37 I think so. I think we've been silly. Can you explain the horse photo? So the horse photo for anyone that's new, it's just a beautiful picture of a tap or in her horse. Yeah, we're taking, no, we're talking about that next. Give that to me. Yeah, but I'll type that.
Starting point is 00:20:49 The horse photo is. Oh, no, I've just got a picture of Dr. Dick. Dr. Dick chop. Is it in the top? Um, the horse photo is, oh, it's back there. It's the one that pop that in your coffee. Um, yeah, a beautiful tarpa and her horse. And whenever we feel like we need to come back to ground zero,
Starting point is 00:21:10 have a bit of a reset. It's a bit curly. Charles said he was going to laminate that and he hasn't. I stopped laminate the one in the Peli. I feel good. It does help. We are taking eight tarpas and their plus. ones to motherfucking Fiji.
Starting point is 00:21:32 Once in a lifetime holiday. All expenses paid. Everything organized, all sorted out. We are taking eight tarpas and their plus ones flights from their hometown to Fiji and back again. The hotel's paid for. We're going to destroy some buffets.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Ryan's going to pop your sunscreen on. And all you have to do is join our Patreon as a champion tarpa. Answer the question, which is why do you really deserve this brain break? Because we all do and we fucking feel you. Charles, can you remind me to get my back wax before we go? And tones.
Starting point is 00:22:04 Good call. Do you know what? Maybe, yeah, two for one. What if they just put the wax on us, right? Here's an idea. They put the wax on your back all over your back. Then I just go, yeah, to you?
Starting point is 00:22:17 Yeah. It's the same piece of wax. And then we run apart. Yeah. I love it. Now, would I be face down and then you like lay on your back on me or vice versa? What would you prefer? Or do we walk?
Starting point is 00:22:30 back into each other. I pictured walking back into each other. I pictured you in your favorite, um, starfish position. Yeah. As I'm laying face down. So I'm laying face down with wax on my back.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Then you're laying on your back, on my back legs up. Oh yeah. So we're turtle on it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:53 I've just said that in a way that makes it sound like it's something. It's not. Yeah. Um, but we have selected seven traveling. tapas already from all around the world and we have one spot left. So we would love for you to enter. It closes on Saturday. This is it. This month it's the last chance and then that's off. We're booking all the flights. We're book all the ACOM. It's happening. Yeah. Sorry. On booking the
Starting point is 00:23:20 accom and the flights and stuff. Yep. I know that this isn't about us, but just like logistics chat. Yeah. So we're all going as a crew. And then you're bringing, your beautiful wife and beautiful baby daughter, who I fucking cannot wait to hang out with the whole time. What's the vibe with like, do you know what I mean? I'm glad you brought this up because... Like, who's coming and what's going on? Mabel is in.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Mabel's in. All right, great. Bridget is in. Slaid. The thing is, though, is that Mabel's been waking up early, but because she's a big girl, we've taught her that she doesn't leave her room until the light goes green because we've got a little time o'clock thing.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Oh, yep. So when she wakes. Is that on a Yoto player? No, but it's Yoto adjacent. Safe. But when she wakes up and the thing's orange, she goes, oh, that's not time to get up. She'll pop the light on and listen to her Yoto and like read some stories and stuff. Oh, yeah, that's nice.
Starting point is 00:24:16 So what Bridget has said, though, that if Mabel sleeps with us, if she wakes up at six, then we're up at six. Yeah. But if she's got her own room. Oh. I see what you're saying. fucking three-year-old. Yep.
Starting point is 00:24:31 That we will probably get to sleep until like eight. Yep. Okay. So Bridget is pushing. Yep. As is Mabel. Yep. For Mabel, a three-year-old to have her own room.
Starting point is 00:24:43 No, she's a big girl. Yeah. So what have we got booked for us? Right now, we've got a three-bedroom booked. Yep. And then two bedrooms booked. Okay. And there's six of us.
Starting point is 00:24:54 Okay. So the situation is this. Ryan and Bridget in one room. Yep. Mabel in one room. Yep. Lily, Danny, Tommy, Charles, all in one room each. And then me.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Yeah. And Torbs? No, Torbs. He's out. Torbs is not. No, well, he was never in. But he's just like, no, I'm not going to come. He's decided?
Starting point is 00:25:17 Yeah, he doesn't want to come. I know. Has he told Mabel? No, no, no. Well, he was like, look. Can I tell everyone the cutest thing in the world is that, like, of all the quirky little relationships, Tony's husband, and my daughter... And my daughter are like bros.
Starting point is 00:25:38 They really love each other. And she... And the other day, Ryan goes, oh, because Torbs will blah, whatever. And she goes, you mean Uncle Alex? Yeah. I was like, yes. I love it. She'll be disappointed to hear that.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Well, because Torbs was like, if you're going to be... He's like, I know you're going to be on. You're working. you're like hanging out with the tarpas where you know he was like I don't want to
Starting point is 00:26:02 cramp his style or whatever and he doesn't have that much annual leave I forget people have jobs Well yeah so talks how works full time Yeah I was like how did you get the time off
Starting point is 00:26:09 Yeah But so what I was thinking What if in the three person house yeah Tony Danny Lily girl gang Oh okay
Starting point is 00:26:24 And in the two then you and Bridger and Mabel can have a two-person house and Tommy and Charles can have boy gang in the two-person house. So you're pitching girl gang house? I'm pitching girl gang three girl gang. Because I thought that Aunt Toddy not only is Alex refusing to travel with Mabel. Not what happened.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Now Tony is refusing to share a house with Mabel. Oh no, I just thought that girl gang in the street. She's a girl. Maybe Mabel stays in the girl gang house. She can stay with us, but she won't have her own room. The original conundrum. Which is, yeah. But so my pitch is
Starting point is 00:27:00 Ryan Bridger and Mabel in the two. Yep. Boy gang house, Girl gang house. I don't mind it. Charles, have we got any thoughts on me? It makes the most sentence.
Starting point is 00:27:09 Do you reckon? Yeah. Because when I thought about that, I was like, Oh, girl gang. And then Breach can come and hang out in our girl gang house whenever she wants,
Starting point is 00:27:17 when she wants a break from you, which will probably be most of the time. I've got another question. Question. Parents of toddlers who go to resorts. Yep. The kids club is for four years and up. Sure.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Mabel will be three years and nine months. Oh, but she's ahead of the curve. Are they checking passports? She's ahead of the curve. Are they ID and kids on the way in? She's a grown-up. She's standing at the line at the front of the kids club and they go, not in those shoes, sweetheart. She can have three of mine months.
Starting point is 00:27:52 You know what I mean? Yeah. And for someone who's, like, she's rolling with four-year-olds at the moment. Yeah. She's doing that dance recital. I'm out of the curve. But like, legally, as a rule follower. Oh, oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:08 You know what I mean? Because they're not just like, oh, it's like, no, the kids club, like, to leave them with the kids, they need to be four. Yeah. And I've gone. Sure. Like Fiji time or? Yeah. Would that make a younger or older?
Starting point is 00:28:23 You know what I mean? Hopefully four months older. Yeah. Approximately. But I'm curious. And we're not that we have to figure that out today. But I just wanted to float that being four is like an important step. Part of it.
Starting point is 00:28:38 For the, oh, you can leave. You don't need a nanny or what. Yeah, no, they go to the kids club. They're four. They're all good. Oh, yeah, I don't know. I didn't even not think about the fact that there would be like an age. Yeah, because there's a kids club there and it's really good.
Starting point is 00:28:49 And they do all these activities and bits and pieces. The one that we're going to is the one that I went to a kid as a kid. Oh. Oh, was that last year? No, you have to be over four. That's where Lily and I drive. He robbed him off every day. We're in VD last year.
Starting point is 00:29:06 Yeah, okay. I have good memories of that Kids Club. Well, that's good news. That's good news. So maybe you can be three and nine months if you've got a referral. It's like, it's like Raya. Yeah. If you get a referral, you get let in and it's okay.
Starting point is 00:29:20 All the fancy schools. If you've got an older sibling that used to go there, you're all good. Yes. But Tony. Yeah. Rule follower? Yeah. You're not good at lying.
Starting point is 00:29:28 No. I'm not. Terrible poker face. You're a very honest person. I am. Hmm. She's almost five. 17.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Too old. Too old. Too old for kids club. Sorry, take that back. Yeah. Take that back. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Because Kids Club would be for her. Great. Obviously, we don't. It's much of a muchness of what you get out of it. I would be missing her terribly at the pool bar. Yeah. From 10 to 4. Can I go pick her up?
Starting point is 00:30:07 up. Yeah. Like, are we allowed to, can you put us on the approved list of people that can pick her up? Yeah. Fuck, her and I are going to roll together so hard this whole time. I'm so excited.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Well, you sure you don't? Roll like drugs. Roll like, have fun. Thanks for clarifying. Yeah. So are you sure you don't want to be in her place then? Hang on a new idea.
Starting point is 00:30:26 I'm so torn because I do, like, you know, when we stayed, when Torbs and I babysat maybe sat maybe like that, like it is so fun. What about? I just thought the girl gang would be so fun,
Starting point is 00:30:37 dude. Yeah, I agree. I think the girl. But I want to stay with you, I think is the problem. I hate sharing a bathroom with you. Wow. I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 00:30:50 I don't sound sorry at all. I am sorry. Okay, here's my new proposal. The three, Ryan, Tommy and Charles are in the three. Yep. Tony Bridget and Naples are in a two and Lily and Danny are in a two. No, here's my proposal. Tommy and Charles in a two.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Mm-hmm. Girl Gang House is Danny, Lily, Bridget and Ryan. That's not Girl Gang. Why not? You're there. Have you thought that maybe Bridget doesn't want to stay with you either? And then Tony and Mabel in their house is the two of them.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Yep. Say. Because then you don't have to share a bathroom with me. Yep. And you get to roll with Mabel. You're two most important things apparently. Yeah. In both the two and the threes,
Starting point is 00:31:36 everyone gets a individual bus. Oh, well, then I don't give a five rest day. Why don't you like sharing a bathroom with me? No, I do. I love it. Because sometimes if I love it. I prefer it. I prefer it.
Starting point is 00:31:47 No, I like when we, like it when we share a bathroom. No, like it when we share a bathroom and then I get to accidentally walk in on you in the shower, that's fun. No, I don't like sharing a bathroom with anyone. Yeah. I like to know that I can take as long to poo as I want. So is it about like, there's not time of waiting at the door?
Starting point is 00:32:04 Yeah. It's not about like leaving you to, like. Yeah. No, I just like to shit in peace. Girl. I get it. Yeah, no, it's so true. I get it.
Starting point is 00:32:14 And you know what? I'm sorry for holding that in. Actually, you just said that. Yeah, because same. And then we could have had this information. Because what happens if we get up and we have our morning coffees and then you go, well, I'm off to poo and I'm like, oh, well, now I'm just going to shit. I'm going to shit in the sink. And then Tony's like, well, I better hurry up so Ryan doesn't come in here and sit on my lap and have a crack at it.
Starting point is 00:32:35 And like, you know, I get it. But we all got our own bathrooms. Everyone's got it. Oh, well, that changes things dramatically. Also, in a resort. So bag on Mabel has an onsuit. Yeah. That is so ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:32:50 That is so funny. A good thing about a resort is there's a lot of emergency bathrooms. That is true. They are good at a bathroom. I'll just go to the pool one. Yeah. Oh, the restaurant on wonder down there. Oh, it's got a Mabel's one.
Starting point is 00:33:01 I also do think that... Oh, shit in the nightclub. That ultimately, the rooms aren't going to matter that much because we are going to be out doing things a lot of the time. But my suggestion for Girl Gang, I think stands though. I think I like the Girl Gang. I tell you what would have been a great, like, 25 words or less to enter. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Would just be like, how old is Mabel? And everyone has to be like, four. Yeah, I think she's almost five. So the seven winners who are coming so far, she's four. And we're all got to, I'm not picking you up from the airport until you agree she's four years old. And for the eighth winner, who again, you've got till Saturday to join us in Patreon, become a champion Tapper, fill out the form that says, yes, I'm keen, I'm ready to go. What's not in the T's and C's, Mabel will ask legal lial.
Starting point is 00:33:50 You have to be willing to under oath say that Mabel is four years old. Do we have a deal? Charles, how old is she? She's four, she's about seven five, is she? Danielle, how old's Mabel? Yeah, I think she's nearly five now. Nearly five. Tommy Howard's Mabel.
Starting point is 00:34:07 She's four. She's four. Yeah. Tony? Four. Oh, I'm not coming. All right. Before I get to my life to see it, we are actually doing a YouTube live stream this Saturday.
Starting point is 00:34:21 So it's for everyone on YouTube. We've never, well, we did that one with the Trigger Nuggets five years ago, eh? Don't recall. Usually all the live streams are in Patreon. This one is on YouTube because it's the last hours to enter podcast away. Yep. So if you've never been in Patreon, You've never seen a live show you what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:34:39 We'll have lots of fun. And when you join, I think Charles is working on the tech. But when people are joining up, the names are popping up. We're filling out our boarding passes. We're all entering. This is your last chance. If you're in Patreon, don't forget to actually go through and click and enter because we don't want you to miss your chance.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Yeah. So that's this Saturday, Melbourne time. Figure out whenever the fuck that is for you. Yeah. But basically, it's the end of the month. Yeah. It's the end of the month. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:03 It's like our end of financial year, basically. Your links will be in the description in the show. Link are in the description. Yeah. Dad has the information. Tarpas don't miss anything, though, do they? Oh my God, not a thing. So, congratulations on being married.
Starting point is 00:35:17 Thank you. Should I text you just to let you know how pumped I was? How much fun you had? No, that's okay. In October 2021, you and I watched the movie Bride Wars. Oh, yeah. On the show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:29 And you said, oh, well, thinking about if I ever got married. Yeah. And I figured since you just did. get married, wouldn't it be interesting to see what you predicted? Oh my gosh. For yourself. So let's, uh, let's, and lots of people have messaged in gone, oh, you guys have to rewatch this bit. So this is a minute or two, but this is from an episode in October 2021. 2020. We just met. We only just started. Yep. So this movie makes me a little bit depressed because the way that as soon as they both get engaged, they are like, obviously you're
Starting point is 00:36:03 the person I'm going to tell. Yeah. I don't really have that. and like I've got a few good friends but I don't really have you know how people have that like main person you'll look you're giving me that look but literally yesterday you just said oh we're friends not good friends or anything but good friends are still friends
Starting point is 00:36:19 but you know what I mean like am I not that person you wouldn't call me? I'm not that person for you I'm not you can't actually stand there and say that because I know that I'm not if you got if Torbs proposed you wouldn't call me with excitement and be like guess what
Starting point is 00:36:34 oh my God of course I'm going to share this with you I would. Of course I would tell you. I'm saying... I'd call you. Because you're my best friend. I'm not your best friend. Because you're my best friend. I'm not your best friend. Who's how you're on? A million friends, which is very, very lovely. You've got a huge group of friends. Are you denying my best friendship? No, because I'm not your best friend.
Starting point is 00:36:56 It doesn't sound like it because you're not letting them in me. Tony and I are fighting everyone. Anyway, but they, so they call each other straight away and I thought that was. really lovely and it made me be like, oh, I don't even know who I would call in that situation. You'd call Torbs. Yeah, but, yeah, Tobs is my best, mate. Yeah, I don't really have any close friends that I would compete with. I also don't really care about that.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Like, if it was up to me, Torbs and I would get married in what we're wearing right now and we'd go to the courthouse. I just care about being married. Yeah. But he wants the party, which is fine. He would. You know, talking about, like, picking bridesmaids and stuff, I just... Yeah, gross.
Starting point is 00:37:32 I can't think of anything worse. Would I... Okay. What? Would I have a role to play on the day? I mean, this is obviously a hypothetical because I'm not engaged or planning a wedding. Maybe an usher or something. Like be usher?
Starting point is 00:37:53 Yeah, yeah. We're wearing matching outfits in that too. How crazy. We're in our black denim jacket era. With green top. We are too. Fucking losers. That is so funny.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Um, crazy. Yeah. Podcasts got to be bed, since then. It's a tough watch. Yeah. Fucking hell. That drags,
Starting point is 00:38:15 I. Um, you were like, watch that on two times speed. I just want Torbs and I to go off and do it. Yeah. Uh, bridesmaids, all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:38:24 Not for me. Don't care about it. Mm-mm. I just want to be married. And now I am. Yeah. Man of his. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:31 And you, when you got engaged, you did, you came back in here and you told me we were really excited. Yeah. I was so excited. I love that video. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Is it a good time to repost that, I reckon, reshare that. I love that video so much. Yeah, it is nice. With the frape. I think we should do a video of you being like, I don't have anyone to tell. And then it cuts forward to you with the McFlurry. Yeah, that's really beautiful.
Starting point is 00:38:57 We really are best friends. We really are best friends. And I really love you. And I would share a bathroom with you. So would I. Now that I've found out we get our own. I have you love to see it as well. And this is...
Starting point is 00:39:13 Play the tape, Charles. And this is Hannah Crickman, who has started the fucking blog. Fuck yeah. Hannah says, I've been doing photography for 10 years on the side. One year ago in June, I finally made a website because everything before then had been like word of mouth. I'm so sorry. Say what?
Starting point is 00:39:31 I just was envisaging her being like, for 10 years I've been doing photography on the side. And she's like, and I've finally... Turn the camera around. I realized I've been doing it the wrong way. And now I'm taking landscape shots. A year ago, I finally made a website because it had all been referable until then. Yep.
Starting point is 00:39:50 And today, I have finally replaced my income and I'm quitting my full-time job. Isn't that so amazing? That video you just saw of us, we hadn't done that yet. Nope. That was, fuck, that early days. Yeah, congratulations. Well done. What a few.
Starting point is 00:40:09 Yeah. Hannah says, I've come to the point where I was saying no to photography jobs because I had a day job. And I was like, well, I need to take the plunge. The business is called Crickman Creative. She's like, I only have 130 followers, but I'm out here doing my thing. And, you know, so if any typeas want to get behind Hannah, we'd love to see it. Give her a follow. What?
Starting point is 00:40:32 Sorry, just get behind her. We'll get behind her. Yeah. Or buy some photos. Yeah. Or just follow her on Instagram. Do we know what kind of photos and stuff? No.
Starting point is 00:40:42 Okay. Sorry. Hannah, I joke about getting behind you, but that is actually really impressive. Do we need the horse photo? I mean, you can believe in someone and still want to get behind him. Look at Torbs. Hey, I believe in you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:59 And let me tell you, it's doggy's not just a style. Nah, all right. We got silly. We got a bit silly. Yeah, sorry, we've been silly. Is it because we saw ourselves four years ago? How? Oh, what's that?
Starting point is 00:41:14 Sorry, I just got stabbed with a oversized boarding pass for Fiji on my leg. You're okay? Went through my jeans. It's from my jeans. Do we need to take a break? Should we come back tomorrow? Should we go to Fiji this afternoon to test the waters? Scope it out.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Yeah. Let's share a bathroom. Let's say we did and not. Yeah, okay. All right. I just like to. a shit in peace. Same. Do you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:41:41 Yeah. I'd just like to... And I'm going to do that myself in about 90 seconds. Great. All right. Love you. You love to say it. Bye.
