Starting point is 00:00:08 from show. Welcome to Tosh Show. Eddie? Yes. I hate to drag you in here for this. Oh, man. But hit the sirens. We have an emergency pod.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Now, as everyone in the southeast of the United States of America knows, in a few weeks, the final leg of, what's the name of my tour? My first farewell tour. My first farewell tour that Eddie and I are on. Now, I've told people all the time that when entertainers cancel a show, it's always because of bad ticket sales. Okay. Well, we had to cancel a show, but it wasn't our fault. They canceled on us. Right.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Friday, October 16th, they have canceled. Thousands of people will be out of entertainment. Why? because the building is problematic and the city has said no more shows in this building. Now, I don't know why. I don't ask questions. I asked one question. What about my money?
Starting point is 00:01:18 They're like, you're going to get paid. I'm like, whoa. No more questions. Yeah, I stop asking questions at that point. You're telling me I'm going to get paid Friday night and I don't have to work. Well, I do have to work. What I decided to do was take the Sunday show in a much better state. city, Asheville, North Carolina, okay?
Starting point is 00:01:39 And move it to Friday. Now, all these people in Asheville, these thousands of people that bought tickets to Sunday night, I'm asking them to come out Friday night, change their plans, get a babysitter, whatever they have to do. And I'm going to lose some ticket sales because of that move, but I'm going to gain some because people like to go out on a Friday. Right. That was my thinking.
Starting point is 00:02:02 I was thinking, well, more people will be happy. that the show's on a Friday now instead of a Sunday night. I'll be looser. I'll go longer. I'm going to make them feel like, oh, that was a special show. Yeah. Normally it was a Sunday night, and I was like, oh, I wish he'd wrap it up. I've got work early tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Now, Friday night? Let's do it. So Asheville, I'm going to see you Friday night, October 16th. Fayetteville, fuck off. That's not going to happen. Will I make that date up? Probably not. Maybe the people that had tickets to Fayetteville could drive.
Starting point is 00:02:44 How far is it to Asheville from Fayetteville? I'm guessing five hours is my guess. It's four. Four hours. That's nothing. Nothing. And it's a Friday night. And the roads will be empty in the evening after.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Yep. It's just a quick four hours back. Let's get a hotel. No. Stay in town. No, no. Gas is so cheap. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Our president got it under two. $2 a gallon the second he took office. So great. Look at that. I made even this political. Hit the sirens, Eddie. Weir, whir, whir, wak, walk. That's a wrap, Jack.
