Starting point is 00:00:00 That's all you need to know about a city. Where's best shit? Where's a toy store? Can I get chocolate? And here's a good restaurant to eat at. Tosh. Tosh Show for show. Welcome to Tosh show.
Starting point is 00:00:18 I'm Daniel Tosh. Thank you for inviting me and Eddie into your home. Eddie. Yo. Everything good in Eddieville? Yeah, everything's good. Do you call it Eddieville? I do.
Starting point is 00:00:29 I like, you know I call it Eddieville. Eddie Berg. I asked my wife yesterday, would you wrap? Be cursed with having to fart 200 times a day or Shit your pants once a week. Okay, what do you think? What would you prefer for your wife? Farts for your wife? Farts 200 times a day or shits her pants once a week? Shits pants once a week. That's what you want for your wife? Yeah. Well guess what guess what my wife chose? What she'd choose? What do you think she chose? I feel like she's gonna want to fart a lot. She's shit her pants? hand she's like no way am I farting 200 times a day that's a great question she's like I'm going to
Starting point is 00:01:09 shit my pants once a week every maybe once a day if it's over if it's over farting 200 times a day we have a big episode a day a different episode the format has been tweaked but let me tell you something we've been doing this show for a year and a half how long uh three coming up on three Coming up on three years. Now, we haven't found our groove yet, nor are we expected to. Right. Are we looking for one? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Because we started this show with the guidance of Iheart. And they let us astray. Yeah. Okay? Then old Lipson came in, and they're like, listen, this is how you do the show. It's like just fill it with ads, wall-to-wall ads. That's what the people actually come for. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:01 We didn't know that before. We didn't know it. So a big thank you to Lipson for that. But anyway, the fans for the most part, the true fans, and there's only a few dozen of those. Articore. But those fans, they're just really liking the precedent we've set as of lately. We're kind of knocking off great episode after great episode.
Starting point is 00:02:25 Now, this week, I don't know if it's going to be good or not, but we need to give the people the real fans, updates on a lot of things that have been going on in the Tosh show world. Tosh show updates. What do you got for us, Eddie? One of our fans wants an update on the baby episode. We're into August. What was the gender of the baby from the baby shower gifting episode with Bree?
Starting point is 00:02:50 That was still one of the nicest podcast episodes ever, and Daniel was the only one who knew the gender until the baby arrived. That is true, but not completely true, because I knew the gender and after they left, after they loaded their taco ma to the gills with all the stuff, I immediately told anyone who asked me what the gender was, what it was. To the grave, this guy. No, I told everyone.
Starting point is 00:03:20 My wife wanted to know, I told her. I'm not going to keep that. I can't, I took vows. I don't know what the vows were because they were in Italian, but I'm pretty sure I can't lie to her. It's a while. Okay, I don't keep things from her. I think I told you guys what the gender was.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Yeah. Yeah. So I just kept it from her because they didn't want to know. That's on me for not following up. I was in the delivery room, and I should have given the fans here an update, but I dropped the ball. Okay. Let's call Bree real quick. She'll like this.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Hey, it's Daniel. Hey, it's Daniel. Hi. First of all, did you keep the baby? I did. Okay. Good. That's a great one. What was the gender? It was a girl. And did you really wait until that very last moment to find out? No. You didn't. Wow. After we left the show, I couldn't do it anymore. I think we found out at like 10 p.m.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Everybody got off of work. I stayed up late and I was just like, we need to find out. And so what, you just opened it right then and read it? Yeah, it was just right there. Oh, you're not so bad, Bree. I can't believe you tortured me with all the guilt of knowing what it was and not sharing it. The burden. I know, I couldn't wait. Here was my thing.
Starting point is 00:04:44 I don't know. I had no idea what I was going to do. But when I knew that you wanted a girl and I saw that it was a girl, I thought, no harm, no foul. I'll keep my mouth shut. It was perfect. I mean, what are we looking at? Are we looking at a three-month-old right now? Yeah, she's almost three months.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Yeah, she's 12. I'm going to be 13 weeks on Friday. Are you enjoying this? Oh, yeah. She's so perfect. I love her so much. Is she sleeping? Yeah, she's with her grandma right now.
Starting point is 00:05:14 We're moving into a new house, so she's watching her while we do everything. Be honest. How much that hand-me-down trash did you just sell? I think only a little stool. You sold the stool? I sold the stool. Because you were right, it kept falling over. No, there's not a lot of stability, and it's just meant for a bottle.
Starting point is 00:05:37 That's it. All right, listen, this is exciting stuff. I'm glad you guys are happy, and are you back at work or no way? No way, not yet. Good for you. Do you need anything else, by the way? Because I've already accumulated more stuff. What are you in need of right now?
Starting point is 00:05:53 I'll see if I can get it out to you. No, I think we're good. We, yeah, we don't think so. All right. College scholarship, you got it. That would be great. All right, Bree. Congratulations to both you.
Starting point is 00:06:08 I'm glad you got a healthy girl there. And, you know, I can't wait to announce your next baby. Looking forward to it. All right. Good on you guys. I'll talk to you soon. Thank you so much. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Bye. Bye. So she waited a whole two days after being on my show. and the amount of pressure that I put on her made her open that envelope. Yep. Isn't that some bullshit? Made it such a big deal that we couldn't tell her.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Two days later, she just is like, well, I got to know. Yeah, it's right, you have to know. You know what? That probably made the last two months of her pregnancy so much more enjoyable, knowing that she was getting what she wanted. There's nothing worse than probably going through all that physical pain and knowing that you have to deliver something
Starting point is 00:06:57 that you don't even want. You know, like being a surrogate. He's like, I don't want, right? We had quite a few people that have been on this show since being on the show that have had babies. Yeah. Who do we got? Dorell had a baby.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Derell. Our buddy Dorel had a baby. He was the NFL player that turned chef had delicious meatballs. I also want to point out Dorell. I knew Dorel was having a baby because he was picking him. brain constantly about hey man how much does life suck after you have a child he was asking
Starting point is 00:07:31 you he had a baby who else my house organizer janell yep she's got a baby safe to assume the foli artist had her baby well she was about to pop when she was on the show yeah you think she made funny noises as the baby was coming out it's so in the room where we're pop blah Some other update. Jordan Mizzell 4402. Legit, mainly here for the chicken updates. My chickens? Yeah, you got any chicken updates.
Starting point is 00:08:02 You know, I feel like that's only just tragedy news. Right. Currently, the flock is small. I like the flock to be at four. Five max. Mm-hmm. When it gets down to two, that's what I'm like, uh-oh, but we're at three. And they're pretty good.
Starting point is 00:08:16 One of them does some weird things. Like what? Yeah, yeah, just like, walk and trip. You ever seen a chicken trip? No. It's not good. It usually means they have, what you're going to call it? What's the disease that chickens get? I forgot it right now.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Oh, pox. No. What is it? Is it Marix? It's Marix. But she's not dead, so I don't think she has Merricks. I think she's just a clumsy chicken. One of my chickens cannot lay an egg without it just being covered in feet.
Starting point is 00:08:50 species. And you don't clean them because, you know, then you have to refrigerate them. If you, if you don't clean, if you keep them just natural, they can sit out for a couple, you know, days, weeks, whatever. But then when you're cracking it and it's covered in poop, some of that poop falls in to the frying pan. Uh-huh. Yeah. Which isn't good. No. But, you know, you hit it with some pepper and all as well. Yeah, so I don't really have any, I don't have any good chicken updates. Dust and Oglesby, too. I don't give a hoot about your health.
Starting point is 00:09:22 We need them panda updates. Oh, man. I don't have any to give other than she went into hiding. And she moved to France to be a nun. She lives in a convent over there. Huge update. No, there's no update. How do you become a nun?
Starting point is 00:09:39 Can you be like a former, like a prostitute and then become a nun? Or do they like, oh, no, that voids out you becoming a nun? nun. I bet you could. You think there's former prostitutes that are nuns. Viginity is not required. Virginity is not required to become a nun? Yeah, it's not. Oh, the church is so progressive. This show answers questions. Nobody thought to ask. We'll be right back. I like this. I like these updates. Ruminai Gay. I need an update on the vasectomy. Is your libido's still the same? That's all I care for. I never went back for my second sperm donation. Like the first one that I went back, he said there were no living sperm.
Starting point is 00:10:28 So I felt like I didn't need to do the second one. So I don't have an update. Now, is my ejaculation different than it once was? No noticeable difference. Drive the same, endurance the same, amount the same. Have you ever been curious about how much semen has come out? of your penis in your lifetime? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:55 And like, would you want to see it all in person? Like, how much would that be? Yeah, like, would it fill this entire studio? I mean. Would every, would we just be like underwater in semen right now? Or would it just coat the walls? Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Well, yeah, there's your vasectomy update. What else you got? Macho Meach. Can we get a 2026 healthy update on your mom? We're due to check in. Okay, now this one, this one's going to hurt. My mother is doing great, but she has pleaded with me to stop calling her on the air. And I was like, I can respect that.
Starting point is 00:11:40 She goes, I get so nervous when you call now. And I don't like that feeling of when you call me to my instinct to be like, oh, I don't, I don't know if I can answer this. right now. So I said, I'll knock it off. As much as the fans love listening to her, she doesn't care at all about them. Okay. And, and you know, like, look, I grew up watching Letterman interact with his mom, and I always thought that was so delightful. And then when Tom Green used to torture his parents, I thought that was great. Loved it. You know, and then what's his name? Bam, used to punch his dad in the head.
Starting point is 00:12:24 That was kind of cute. Dead of sleep. That didn't turn out as well for him. But the other examples, you get what I'm saying. I was like, oh, okay, well, I don't want to torture. My mom, I'll respect her, her privacy. And I'll call her, you know, off air. But I'll be honest, I'm not nearly as interested in what she has to say when it's just
Starting point is 00:12:44 my private time. It's not content for the show. Yeah, now I'm like, oh, this is wasted. So, because she gives comedic gold. almost every day. Yeah. I don't call my mom every day. We've got another one from Macho Mich.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Meech. Macho Meech, two? Yeah. We should get an update from dear old Greg and his gaiters. I don't need to call Greg to give you this because I've just spent two weeks with him.
Starting point is 00:13:07 He just left my house. And he's on Cloud 9. Yeah. When he came out to stay, I like to give him a gift or something. You know, put it down in the guest house. So he has an activity. And he likes to,
Starting point is 00:13:21 play with my son, they like to build Legos together. So I got him one of those high-end 18 and up Ferrari Legos. You know? Yeah. 300 bucks. It's massive. And I left it out for him.
Starting point is 00:13:37 And he, Ferrari's his favorite F1 team, I guess. I don't know. I did, you know, I asked his son. He's like, I think Ferrari, whatever. And I get it. And he is just excited. He's like, oh, wow. This is quite a project.
Starting point is 00:13:53 So he was excited every day he was going to do one bag until he finished. They probably had 20 bags in it. I don't know how long he was there. But one day I walked down there to see him doing this Lego. And mind you, it's 18 and up. And that's where Lego stops. They don't go, this one's 19 and up. 18 and up, it's like they lump you guys all together.
Starting point is 00:14:16 But it really should, at a certain age, start going back down. like and I think that age should be like 65. Okay. At 65. So it should be, it should say 18 to 65. And then from 65 to 75, you're, you're the 10 to 18 range as well. You're back. You understand what I'm trying to say?
Starting point is 00:14:39 It makes a lot of sense. Okay. Because I walked down there one day when he was doing, doing the Lego, putting this Ferrari together, and I see that he has taken one of the, his wife's nail files and is filing down a piece of Lego. And I go, what are you doing? And he says, well, listen, I made a mistake. And there's no way that I can get this piece in without taking so much apart.
Starting point is 00:15:12 And I don't want to do that. So if I just file this ridge off, I can slide it all the way through. it'll stay in place. So I'm like, you remember the last time I caught him with his wife's toothbrush cleaning his boots in Big Sur? Now he's got his nail file and he's modding the fucking Legos to fit.
Starting point is 00:15:37 I go, I shouldn't have got you in 18 and all. He's like, no, no, no, I love this. I love this one so much. I just didn't want to redo all of it. I was like, I can't believe you. Can you imagine what he's, that you haven't caught him using that he's just like grabbing out of her bag?
Starting point is 00:15:52 Oh, I'm, yeah. She should sterilize everything she owns because Lord knows what he's used it for. By the way, I keep trying to find out, you know, if there's anything else he wants to do in his life. You know, this bucket list has, we've depleted it. Well, he keeps, he's always been bugging us about oh high. He's like, I've always wanted to go to oh high.
Starting point is 00:16:16 And so this trip, we took him for one night. to Ohio. My wife loves going up there. There's a restaurant she likes, the Duchess. So this restaurant has Bernese food. It's great. It's great. The chicken, oh my goodness. It's wonderful chicken. And the non. Best non you'll ever eat. I still laugh because while my father-in-law just lives for these experiences, his wife, my mother-in-law, less interested in these exotic foods. Okay? Now, this is going to get me in trouble, but let me just go in guns ablaze. Yeah. She doesn't like tomatoes.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Fine. But that's okay. Yet, any time my kids eat a tomato, and by the way, my wife grew up not liking tomatoes, I wonder why. Is it because of her mother? Because now my wife will order a capraise salad without thinking about it. Loves tomatoes. Of course, their tomatoes are wonderful, especially if they're good. But my mother-in-law, if anyone eats a tomato in front of her in any capacity, she has to make an audible noise.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Like, oh, as my kids eat a tomato, oh. I don't get that. I understand that you don't like these. I don't like mayonnaise. If somebody else is eating mayonnaise, I don't just start going to go, oh, no. I can't we eat a whole tomato in front of her like an apple next time I see her. If you think I haven't already done that. You know, sometimes when you buy the little cherry tomatoes,
Starting point is 00:17:56 but sometimes there's some rogue ones that are clearly like, whoa, that one's almost a full tomato. I'll just, I'll set those on my plate and then just pop them in and just, well, yeah. It's good. I can't help it. Benzulo. Daniel loves to shit on Florida public schools,
Starting point is 00:18:13 but they rank number 13th in the country, whereas California ranks 31. Yeah, sure. If you take the whole state, you know how many shit parts of this state are dragging us down? Yeah, it's a huge state. Yeah, it's not the Malibu school. First of all, I don't care about other schools. When I say my Florida public school upbringing, I'm talking about my specific Florida school that I went to. And I've shown this to my wife before. And when you look at the school's ranking on a scale of one to 10, how they rank the schools.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Do you want to know what my high school in Titusville, Florida was ranked at? Yeah. It was a three out of 10. Okay. That was where I got my education. Uh-huh. My son's school, a nine out of 10.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Okay. Yep. So there's your Florida, California comparison. Yeah. I'm not talking about overall. I'm talking about the school I went to versus the school my son goes to. I went to a three out of
Starting point is 00:19:17 10, my son goes to a 9 out of 10. Yet somehow, I'll probably be more successful than he ever will. I hope so. You and me both? I don't want my kids beating me. That's embarrassing. You think, you think LeBron wants Bronny to be better than him? No. No. Wants to fucking dunk on him. Just constantly. Forever. This is a run your life 2190. Thank you for not shy away from the El Niño conversation. It's a super El Nino. All I know is the surf couldn't be better. So if the planet getting hotter
Starting point is 00:19:54 making the oceans warmer is a bad thing, I'm going to enjoy it. Now, I wouldn't send my kids to any Christian summer camp near any major bodies of water, trusting that God's plan and some
Starting point is 00:20:10 dorky high school virgin are going to keep them safe. But you do you. Dan Swimmers got a question. Do you have any advice for a nine-year-old who's starting to like the dolphins? How do I deal with a sadness and frustration? That one's tricky. I don't have any meaningful advice. The fun thing for your child at nine cheer for the dolphins is he's got a shot. Right. He's got a shot of when he's 24, the dolphins have in like an amazing run. And that'll be great. for me, like the clock's ticking.
Starting point is 00:20:46 If it doesn't happen soon, I may not care. Right. Not because I don't want to care, but because my brain is mush. Cognitive skills. Yeah, they're gone. I start fucking freaking out like Trump when planes fly over.
Starting point is 00:21:03 Do you see that shot? Plain went over his head and he's like this. Here's another thing. It's way better for your kid to cheer for a team that does win than a horrible front-runner team. And these kids that cheer for teams that are nowhere near where they live, that's infuriating.
Starting point is 00:21:24 It's one thing if your family cheers for this team, so that's why you cheer for it. Okay. But if these kids that just pick whatever the best team is, I hate those kids. I hate those kids so much. My kids, whenever we're watching a game, they just ask me, who do you like in this game, Dad? And then I tell them, and guess what they do? They watch that player.
Starting point is 00:21:47 They say, that's the team we want to win. They're just always kissing up to me. And I'm like, I don't like it. I don't like it at all. But the only reason that I'm rooting for teams is because, you know, I probably got a little stake in it. I can't, I can't stop. My parents never gambled.
Starting point is 00:22:10 But when I got older, You know, and I started working in casinos, and my dad and I, like, hung out a few times where there was a casino. I made him sit down and play with me. Oh, that's fun. Yeah. Would you play? A little blackjack.
Starting point is 00:22:25 We played blackjack. And I was making him play $25 a hand, and he was just like, oh, this is just, this is horrible. And then he lost. He was just like, well, that, that wasn't fun. But as far as the dolphins go, you just have to believe. leave that this year is going to be brutal. And then next year, when we draft Arch Manning, all of our problems are going to be answered. Oh, Arch is going to bring us to the promised land.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Arch to Miami. Won't that be fun? Brian Levine, 817. Pretty fucking disappointed. He canceled Fayetteville. I had a fourth row center tickets for 10 months. Okay. Let's talk about Fayetteville.
Starting point is 00:23:10 my show in Fayetteville, North Carolina is canceled. Now, am I sad that it's canceled? No, no, I'm not. I'm thrilled. And here's why. I'm still being paid. That's how you know it's not my fault. That's how you know that it has nothing to do with me. They're still having to pay me. Because the theater has some structural issues. I don't know what happened. I just, all I heard was you don't have to do the show you are getting paid. Okay. Perfect. I wish my entire. tour was that way. Best gig ever. Right. Except for now I'm in Fayetteville and can't get my money back on the hotel. It's the double tree. I'm at a double tree. Okay. Double tree. Let me tell you this right now. I'm fucking getting my cookie. I'm going to get my cookie and then I'm going to leave your town. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:23:58 You know, I had friends coming to Fayetteville too. Oh, shit. Hold on. Let me see if I can find this text. Here's what my friend Krista wrote. Hey, I saw you're coming to Fayetteville. That's like an hour from my house. just to let you know, and that's a really sketchy area. We don't usually go there at night or ever. That's what she said. These are the texts I get. I should call her. Yep.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Why'd you cancel? I didn't cancel. The city of Fayetteville condemned the building, and they aren't allowing me to perform there, but I still get paid. That makes sense. I can tell you're laughing like a crazy person right now. Well, if you knew Fayetteville, they call it Fayette Nam. Fayette Nam.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Yeah. I'm not joking. It's not nice. All right, good. I'm glad I'm not coming. All right, I'll let you know where I'm going to be instead and maybe we'll meet up. So, well, wait, are you still going to Wilmington? Yeah, I'll be in Wilmington.
Starting point is 00:25:05 I got to do all the shows unless they cancel them all. That would be amazing. We just hang out of here. So. I got to go. I'm on the air right now. I just wanted to ask, tell you about this, okay? I'll call you later.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Sorry. Bye. Bye. Sorry. They call it Fayette andom. Listen, I told you that my friend was like, do not perform there. And now look at this. I was prepared to go to battle.
Starting point is 00:25:33 My agent, Stacey Mark, though, over at William Moore's endeavor, that's what she should seek out is buildings that have had a checkered past. Book me in them. we call the city to complain about certain things, the shows get shut down, I get paid, don't have to go. That's a whole new way to go about this. That's my new tour. Brilliant. Oh, just have to find condemned buildings that are still booking people.
Starting point is 00:26:01 You know where I should perform, that beautiful Kennedy Center. Oh, kicking it off. This is from Brian C. 5463. You can go number two on a bus if you flush it while you're dropping. it. See, this person doesn't understand what a tour bus is. You can't go number two on the bus. You don't flush it and it just magically goes into the septics. It's in the bus. It's below where we sleep. Okay? And so every time someone uses the bathroom to pee or flushes, a whew of that comes up. The air comes up and you smell. You're traveling around the country in the heat with your
Starting point is 00:26:44 your own feces. So no, you cannot go number two and flush right away. There is one way to do it, but I don't want to say. How, what's the way?
Starting point is 00:26:52 Well, you do, you can line your toilet, you can drain the water, and you can line it with a bag, and then you can go the bathroom, and then you just tie it and throw it,
Starting point is 00:27:00 uh, you know, into a trash can outside. But, but that's, that's, you know, that's emergency scenario.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Another level. Yeah. Well, you know what? That actually, that happened to me one time where I had to do that. And then it was, I was at Bonarue. in the bus and I did this and then I gave the bag
Starting point is 00:27:19 to my tour manager who wasn't Pete at the time it was Andrew and he was holding the bag I didn't tell I go hey can you go throw this away for me and he's like sure and he he was like gonna throw it in the I go no no not in the bus go find a dumpster throw in there he's like okay what is it I'm like I don't you don't need to know and then Amy Schumer and Nikki Glazer stopped him outside of the bus and we're talking to him, and I just am looking at him holding my huge bag of shit. Bag of human feces.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Yeah. And having the longest conversation. I'm like, oh, my goodness. So I'm texting him while he's holding him. We go, hey, hurry up. My poop's in that bag. We'll be right back. All right.
Starting point is 00:28:10 What else we got? Got an email from Brittany Wyatt. Do you have any teacher discount codes for the tour tickets? We're in Alabama. Thanks. Love the podcast. Oh, man. A teacher.
Starting point is 00:28:19 in Alabama. Talk about bad schools. But in fairness, that shouldn't be on the teachers. They're teaching inbred children. Yeah, I mean... You know how hard it is to teach an inbred to do anything? I can only imagine. It's tough. It's tough. They are stupid. Here's what I'll do for Brittany, okay? And the good teachers of Alabama. I will give her... I was going to say one. I will give her two to four. What? Free tickets. She can have two to four free tickets.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Pete, tell her she can have two to four free tickets. I thought people were supposed to be giving me like ideas of where I'm supposed to be eating in these places. Not just asking for free shit. Well, here you go. I've recommended a couple spots. Craft Bakery and... Wait, wait, where are we?
Starting point is 00:29:06 Pensacola. Okay, so the first night of the tour, Pensacola the Panhandle, Florida. Oh, that's going to be nice. All right, what's his recommendations? Craft bakery and licking good donuts. Craft is more European-style pastries, croissants, Danish's, but they've got great cinnamon rolls and cookies too. Licking Good makes an excellent blueberry cake donut,
Starting point is 00:29:26 while every donut they make is excellent. Okay, let me just say something. What's this guy's name? Chris Arnold. Chris, job well done. I will do all of your recommendations. I will get a cookie. I will get a cinnamon roll.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Is it cinnamon roll? Is that what he said? I will get a cinnamon roll. And then I will go to the donut plate. I don't love cake donuts in general, But fine, I'll do it. I love donuts. Yes, that's how I'll start the tour off.
Starting point is 00:29:51 I thought I was going to get ripped on this one, but it looks like it's not going to happen. What else? Okay, we aired a comment about sauce barbecue. So email, you said somebody... By the way, Chris, don't fuck with me. Right. If these are bad recommendations,
Starting point is 00:30:04 I'll fucking burn that city down. Like, they better be good. The way you wrote it makes me think that it's legit. The details... The details that you wrote it make me think it's good. But if this is some ha-ha-ha, we made the guy eat the fucking gross donuts when the good donuts are down the street. I'm going to be furious.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Yeah, no jokes. It's the only thing in, it might be the only thing in life I take serious is, is sweets. You said somebody from Birmingham said you should eat at saws for barbecue when you're here. Don't waste your time, go to Perry's. That's from Brian J. Wilson, MSN, CRN, P, AG, a lot of stuff. Oh, this guy's got, he's certified. This guy's certified. I don't like when this starts happening.
Starting point is 00:30:47 We'll be like, don't go to this one, go to this one. I want people to be, I want a consensus that this is the place. Now I don't know if I'm going to saws or parries. Let me be clear, I don't want the healthiest. I want whatever the most delicious thing you swamp people eat. Tom and Gloria told you to go to the largest biscuits you've ever seen in this place called biscuithead. And they thought you'd be excited that they have a jelly bar. I love a good biscuit.
Starting point is 00:31:12 You know what I usually do with a biscuit? I don't cut it in half. like a lot of people. I make two cuts. One right off the top and then one right above the bottom. And then I have a middle section. Okay?
Starting point is 00:31:24 Mm-hmm. Now, I take the middle section, set it aside. Then with the top bottom, use that for my breakfast sandwich. Okay. Okay? Then the middle section, that I put jelly on it.
Starting point is 00:31:35 That's my dessert. Oh. Okay? I don't... This person said that it was a jelly bar? Yeah, it's a jelly bar. That's disgusting. Okay, that sounds like a buffet
Starting point is 00:31:46 And a buffet of fucking jelly Is criminal How many jellies you got there? I don't care how many they have We only need two or three jellies I'm not somebody that's just a Oh, so And by the way, jelly doesn't easily come out
Starting point is 00:32:00 On your fork, so that means people are dropping shit and it's getting mixed and matched I don't like this jelly bar at all I'm excited Unless it's a jelly bar with individual Right, little jars I like little tiny jars I want my own jar
Starting point is 00:32:14 I don't even mind the little plastic ones But those are kind of disgusting Because kids, you know, pretend they're blocks Play with them when they're sitting at tables And so they're covered in filth You like grape jelly? Yeah, I'll have it, but strawberry is my choice I fucking hate grape jelly
Starting point is 00:32:30 I guess if they have grape jelly Grape jelly is just prison food if you ask me Peach If peach is an option, I'm all I love peach Maybe I do want a jelly bar Yeah, you sound like you want a jelly bar I want to go to a jelly bar Pat Dillingham
Starting point is 00:32:44 probably sent the best recommendation that you've ever received. He's a lifelong Dolphins fan, and even though he owns Jersey Mikes in Asheville, he's sending you to Huli Suz Barbecue for Dinner and French Broad Chocolate Lounge for Desert. Okay, that's a separate location. I hate two locations, but it's fine because for dinner, I have it delivered to me.
Starting point is 00:33:07 So that's, I'll eat it on the bus. Go on. You also recommended a toy store. What? Yeah. Oh, this guy gets me. And to top it off, I told you where the best public restroom is. Where?
Starting point is 00:33:18 The intersection of Rankin Avenue and College Street. Okay. Now, this guy wins. What a fan. What a fan. He gave me the best restaurant, a barbecue spot in South Carolina or North Carolina? North Carolina. North Carolina.
Starting point is 00:33:33 So it's going to be a little vinegary. Mm-hmm. Okay. But I'll do it. And then a separate chocolate dessert place. I love chocolate. That's right. A toy store.
Starting point is 00:33:44 and then a public bathroom. Perfect. That's all you need to know about a city. Where's best shitter? Where's a toy store? Can I get chocolate? And here's a good restaurant to eat at. That's all I need to know, Asheville.
Starting point is 00:33:57 And he owns a Jersey Mikes. I'm guessing there's more than one location in Asheville. But if not, support this guy's Jersey Mikes. Yeah. At Ruth, oh, yeah, she says, when most Americans can't even pay their rent, let alone buy a house, a luxury gingerbread house is absurd. Are you talking about my gingerbread house ladies,
Starting point is 00:34:18 Susan and Melissa from Solvang? You're going to think that this isn't real, Eddie, but it is real. I keep my gingerbread house that they made me. I keep it up year round. It's still up, okay? And I keep it up because it's just a little bit of happiness when I look at it,
Starting point is 00:34:38 and it has to make it all the way to when the new one arrives, which will be after Halloween. Okay. Okay. Now listen to me. This thing, you know, there's little gifts in the front of it that were chocolate wrapped.
Starting point is 00:34:57 Those have turned to dust and disintegrated. Okay? It's been sprayed multiple times with raid because aunts, you know, move in on certain things. My kids have tried to steal some of the toys off of it, but unsuccessful, but they've, you know, some of the glue has fallen off.
Starting point is 00:35:13 One of the walls has caved in. Oh. City of Malibu came to my house, red tagged it. Oh, no, come on. Yeah, that's Malibu. Bucking assholes. Anyway, I promise you this, though. I'm keeping it.
Starting point is 00:35:25 Will I eat any of it? No, no, that's dangerous at this point. Again, it's been soaked in rain. Pesticides. I might ask them, and I don't know if they're going to like this, if I just send it back, and instead of spending $3,500, just get a remodel. Ah.
Starting point is 00:35:44 Maybe that's cheaper. The bones are good. The bones are great. Mm-hmm. It surely drank its milk. And I get it. People that listen to this podcast, they're like, oh, you can't. You can't spend that kind of money in a gingerbread house.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Well, no, you can't. But I can, and it supports them. So let's do it. And I'm not asking for a free one. Last year they gave me two free ones. and that was super generous. This year I insist on a heavily discounted paying for one. Okay, at Boofer McGavin.
Starting point is 00:36:21 Hey, Daniel, you got me hooked on Chad Powers. This is great because I do need a new show to watch. Chad Powers Season 2. I sang the praises of season 1. Season 2, this is how you know I'm not on the take. Fuck that show. Oh, it's horrible. Other people, oh, I like it.
Starting point is 00:36:42 I think it's still fun. No, it's not funny anymore. It used to be hysterical. It was all funny. You a bug man? You a bug man? Just made no sense. It was just dumb.
Starting point is 00:36:54 And then this year, they want to be, you know, have heart and have like store. And I just couldn't care. First of all, I'm also vested. They fired my brother-in-law. Chase, who works on this show occasionally, editing stuff together, he worked on that show, and they fired him mid-season because of budget cuts. Well, guess what? Now I'm talking about it.
Starting point is 00:37:20 You didn't know that firing him was going to make me angry. What they should have done is fired everyone who wrote that second season. Because it wasn't funny. First of all, Glenn Powell is in it way too much. and you're saying the show is him. No, no. He's in his stupid character. And when he's not in his stupid character
Starting point is 00:37:43 and he's good-looking Glenn Powell, I don't want to watch that comedy. I only want to watch him with the mustache and the teeth and the nose saying ridiculous things. But this year he's like, hey, you know what? Maybe you could show me a little more. Spoiler alert.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Season two sucked. That got me all fired. You know what? That's it. That's it for updates. I'm done. Tos show Hey, Carl, do you enjoy all those updates?
Starting point is 00:38:13 Look what I got. Yeah. That's fun to do. Let's do some plugs. Patreon.com slash Tos show. I get your free seven-day trial. Sounds pretty good, right, Carl? My first farewell tour.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Some of the dates are dropping like flies. We'll figure out what's going on in Fayetteville. Don't you worry. Toshoshostore.com. Get yourself some merch before we go on tour and hit the music. They love me, they love me not. What do you got, Ed? Here we go.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Bobby M.D. 334. You're my favorite person ever in showbiz. I love who you are as a person. Don't ever change. Keep up the good fight. You own your shit and that's why I love you. Eddie's cool too hashtag don't ever change. Man.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Talk about it. They love me. Glowing. Get a room. Yeah. The two of us. Right? We got to love me not, or is that it?
Starting point is 00:39:11 No, we got to love me not. Oh. From our death doula episode, the amount of metal gymnastics, creative euphemisms, delusion and denial of these people is immeasurable. It's suicide people, plain and simple, it's not complicated, it's simply suicide. First of all, if you want to, you know, if anything, it's homicide, somebody's injecting something into your veins that kills you, then that person's killing you. Right.
Starting point is 00:39:34 If you're not injecting it yourself, so it's not suicide. But whatever. these people Oh, suicide fucking suicide's illegal Good Ticket my corpse at the bottom of a mountain After I fucking base jump
Starting point is 00:39:46 See you next week Yeah
