Do you ever consider hiring white people?
Are you like, no, they're no good?
I have a white people for my co-in-my show.
Yeah, I have it.
Are they okay?
Are they hard workers?
No.
Welcome to another episode of Tosh Show for show.
Welcome to another episode of Tosh Show.
Will this be our greatest episode, Eddie?
Yes.
Oh, you put a mouth on it.
Maybe I should have said no.
Oh.
Every week I strive to deliver the greatest content the Internet has ever held.
Rarely do I succeed, but on that one occasion.
Oh, yeah.
Lightning and a bottle.
You ever have a bad day?
Yeah.
I haven't.
What?
Not like real people have bad days.
No, not like, yeah.
Oh, man, that's it.
You know, occasionally you get walloped with a bad story.
So-and-so is dying.
Okay.
But I'm just talking about like,
things aren't going my way.
Okay.
All right.
The other day,
I'm doing some brush clearance.
Okay.
And I don't do it.
But, you know, I'm supervising.
Like to watch.
Yeah, I got a team of guys doing some brush clearance
because, you know, the canyons,
as we head into the Santa Ana wind season,
the fires can kick up.
So you got to do your part.
So I do some brush clearance.
Mm-hmm.
My property lines are, yeah, a guess in my eyes.
I'm like, I just stop going there, go this way, buddy.
I'm yelling down a canyon.
I think that's not mine.
Whatever.
One of these landscapers, we'll just call him the guy in charge because his English is the best.
And he was talking with me the most.
Okay.
And we're in my living room.
And we're just talking and I'm telling them, oh, I need that clear than this clear.
whatever and he's i like let's go let's go over there to to that bench and uh and i'll show you exactly
what i mean now i don't want to talk about his body but i have to okay okay he's large big guy's a big
man right he's not old but he's large 250 300 easily he walks in front of me and i'm not really
paying attention.
But right in front of us is my swimming pool.
And it has my cover that goes over it.
And he just walks straight on to the pool and immediately falls like crashes, water goes everywhere.
Somehow he didn't rip it off its tracks.
He climbs back up onto the deck.
He's mortified.
And I'm just looking at him like, that's a swimming.
pool.
What'd you do there, buddy?
He thought you were Jesus?
You can't just walk across.
Now, in fairness, the pool cover does claim it can hold a buck.
Oh, a big deer.
Okay.
I think on the website, there's a big buck standing on it.
Like, to show you how strong it is.
But, no, I've never tested it to this level.
Yeah.
And this guy definitely weighs as much as a buck.
And he, and then, so now he's been apologetic.
He's like, I didn't know it was a pool.
I know you don't think it was a pool
because you fucking walked on it.
I didn't know.
I'm like, I don't know what you thought it was.
And you also can't, you know,
you can't be this out of touch that you're like,
well, this Mexican landscaper
probably doesn't have a pool at his house
that has an electric cover
that seals over it flush
to make it look like some random pad of concrete
in my backyard.
Right.
I mean, there's a million, you know, the fact that there's a staircase that goes to it.
I mean, he just kept apology.
I'm like, buddy, just let drop it.
We're good.
He's like, I'm just so, I'm so sorry.
I'm like, you know what you didn't do it?
Nothing.
I'm just sorry.
You're glad you're not hurt, i.e. suing me.
He's just soaking wet.
He wasn't that wet.
He didn't like ripped through it, but water did somehow magically get around it and spray up.
I was confused.
Anyway, we go down to where we originally were supposed to go.
And then I say, okay, we're heading back up.
And I'm like, hey, this time, do you mind walking around the pool?
And he's like, I'm really sorry about that.
And I'm like, buddy, I'm just teasing you at this point.
Now I'm teasing you.
You don't have to be sorry anymore.
What's done is done.
But please, in the future, can you tell all the workers here to not walk on top of the water?
That's good.
Lesson learned.
Sometimes when people get too apologetic, you're like, well, you're taking the fun out of what was something that was crazy hysterical and ridiculous.
But his size made falling, you know, that much more uncomfortable for me.
And he was in front of you, right?
So you get to see it all half.
Yeah.
I didn't see it all because I would have stopped it in the direction.
I wasn't paying attention completely.
All of a sudden, I see it.
He's like on the, you know, on the mat.
And I mean, sometimes there's a miscommunication.
But let me tell you something.
One of the things I love the most about living in California is my daily interactions with people from different cultures.
And if you like that, you're going to love today's guest.
Enjoy.
My guest today starts her day at around 3 a.m.
So if she seems tired for this interview, please remember.
now is her bedtime. I'm excited to welcome to the show. My local donut hookup owner and operator
Blinkies Donuts, Winnie. Thank you for being here. Thank you for having it.
My first question, Winnie, do you believe in ghosts? Yeah, for my culture. You do? Yes.
Have you ever seen a ghost? Actually, no. No. Okay. I think for my imagination when I was a kid.
Okay. Yeah. What about, uh, have you ever, uh, have you ever, uh, have you ever, uh, have you ever, uh,
Have you ever been alone in your donut shop and something scary has happened?
For doing donut shop time? No.
Okay, good.
All right.
Winnie, where are you originally from?
And how did you get into the donut business?
So I originally from China.
Uh-huh.
You know, in a late area, all the donut shops, our owner is from Cambodia.
Cambodia owns almost all or all the donuts.
Yes, I think 90%.
90% of the donut shops in L.A. are owned by Cambodians.
Yes.
Okay.
That doesn't help me, though, how you got into this business.
Then I meet a guy.
Okay.
He is a Cambodia.
Mm-hmm.
Now, I got married with him.
Mm-hmm.
Then this shop used to be his auntie's donut shop.
Okay.
His auntie owned this donut shop.
Yes, before.
And before her, her auntie owned the donut shop.
That's correct. So it's been passed down. Yes. Now it's yours. Yes. How long have you been running it?
Three years. Three years. Okay. Can I ask how old you are?
39, yes. You're 39? Yes. I would have guessed a little younger. Maybe a lot younger. Maybe. I don't know. You look young. How old? Do you know how old I am? Go ahead. Guess you? 45.
Oh, that's nice. 51. Oh, wow.
Right?
You keep good sheep.
Thank you.
And donuts, I just eat donuts once a week.
Yeah, one week, okay.
It's okay.
Where did you, when you moved from China, where did you move to?
I used to study in Toronto, Canada.
Did you study donuts?
No.
No.
What did you study?
My major is education.
Ah.
Yes.
Did you ever go into that field?
Um.
No?
All right.
Did you like Toronto?
No.
No.
It's so cold.
It's very frozen.
Too cold?
Yes, too cold.
What about L.A.?
Is it too hot?
L.A.
kind of be warm as nice.
Mm-hmm.
All right.
Did you eat donuts growing up?
Actually, before, I never ate doughna.
When I started in the business, I never.
I don't know what kind of donut because in China, they don't eat donuts.
No donuts in China?
Not a lot. I never see it.
Uh-huh.
Do you like donuts?
Right now I like it.
Before, I have no idea about a donut.
What kind of donut was your first donut? Do you remember?
Brinkie's donuts.
Okay, but what kind?
Oh, what kind of glazed?
Which is a glazed donut.
Yes.
Did you like it?
I like it. It's sweet.
You know, sweet food makes me happy.
Oh, that's good.
Do you like sweet food?
Yeah, I like it.
Do you consider donuts a breakfast?
First food?
Before, I think like afternoon dessert, but here is breakfast food.
What time do you have to wake up in the morning?
Use be I wake up at 3 or 4. It depends how many order I have.
Do you like getting up that early?
I like it.
Really?
Yes, because I can start early, finish early.
The afternoon, whole afternoon, I don't have nothing to do.
I just have an own time.
Do you take a nap in the afternoon?
A little bit.
I can take a lot because when I'm sleeping a lot, during my nighttime, in the nighttime I can't sleep.
What time do you go to bed at night usually?
Usually seven or eight.
Okay.
Mm-hmm.
Seven o'clock.
That's an early bedtime.
Yes.
Now, my grandfather owned two donut shops.
Oh, really?
In St. Louis, Missouri.
Oh.
Okay?
You probably already knew that.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
I don't know if you ever heard of him.
Art.
Pastries of Art.
That was the name of his donut shops.
I love donuts so much, but it's not healthy.
My wife gets mad at me because she's like, you shouldn't eat a half a dozen donuts.
But what are you going to do?
Why do you think so many immigrants succeed at running small businesses?
Because I think for my opinion, it's like a small business.
easy to introduce like okay for this you you don't need to hire a lot of people you can use your
own label like a whole family into the small business they less cost uh-huh we only like a
ran a shop get the license and then we can start do you do you have mostly your family
working at your shop right now yeah my mom my dad used to be only me do you ever do you ever
Are you like, no, they're no good?
I have a white people for my coach in my show.
Yeah, I have it.
Are they okay?
Are they hard workers?
No.
I just, I try to understand them.
Because I have a different culture.
I have to learn something from them.
Okay.
Only like all the Asian people is like stopped me to grow up to them more new stuff.
We'll be right back.
What do you like to do on Monday?
Monday is sleeping.
You just like to sleep?
Yeah, sleeping.
Now, most people that eat donuts know this.
Donuts stores aren't open on Mondays.
That's their holiday.
One time I drove to your shop on a Monday.
I got so mad at myself.
Oh.
I was like, what am I doing?
It's Monday.
Yeah.
From my house to your shop, it's like 35 minutes.
Oh, that's a long.
I know. And the only reason I ever go over the hill is for a donut.
Oh, thank you so much. Thank you.
You're welcome. But I make my son come with me. He gets excited.
And then he goes there and then you guys, you know, you always give donut holes to the kids.
That's very nice of you. When did you start doing that?
I like kids.
Okay.
Yes. But sometimes I give them, they make they happy. They smell. Oh, thank you.
My kids don't really care about the donuts themselves.
They just want to make sure they get the donuts that have a little toy in it.
Oh, yes.
You put like a ring or something.
Yeah, yes, yes.
That's all they want.
They just want the one that has a toy.
I'm like, come.
And then it's so much icing and it's colorful.
And they're in the back of my car.
I look in the mirror.
It's just all over them.
It's like making a kid's happy.
like a $3, why not?
It's $3, but it takes $100 to get my truck clean.
How much is a dozen donuts cost at Blinkys?
For the legal one, 23 a dozen.
Uh-huh.
Okay.
What do you think of these donut shops and these high,
you ever been to sidecar?
I know.
Okay, they're in Santa Monica.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
It's, you know, five bucks, six bucks a donut.
Uh, yes.
Are you interested in those type of donuts or no?
A lot of type of a little bit different
It's very different
Yes
Have you ever ate at Dunkin' Donuts?
Dunkin' Yes
Do you like Dunkin' Donuts?
No, I don't like it
No what about Krispy Cream?
You ever ate at Krispy Cream?
Yes
You like that?
Yeah, better than Dunkin
Okay, sure
I agree with that
You ever been to Voodoo donuts?
What?
It's in Portland
You ever been to Portland?
No
No
Go to Portland, try Voodoo
Is Blinkie's considered one of the best donut shops in L.A.?
I don't know.
I can't say that.
I don't know how.
Because my own customer say that.
Before I say, I'm because, oh, you are the owner.
That's why you say the best.
And so I only trust the people, they say it.
I say it's best.
And look, I travel 45 minutes to go there because it's the donut that I like the most.
It's a glazed donut.
It's fluffy.
It's big.
It's just good.
Now, have you changed the recipe at all from the previous owner, your auntie or any of them?
No, no.
Exact same recipe?
I think the same recipe since 1960.
Wow.
And that would change, yeah.
Okay.
How many types of donuts do you make every day?
I think it's like 25 to 30 different kind of.
What's the best seller?
Glazed donut.
Glazed old fashion.
Old fashion?
Glazed old fashion is the second favorite?
Yes. That's my wife's favorite.
Oh, really? Yeah, I don't know why.
It's like a cookie.
What's the worst seller you've ever made?
Buttermilk.
What the fuck's a buttermilk donut?
Yeah, like this shape.
I don't know. I don't know that donut.
That's why.
It's no good.
What about the bacon one? Do people like that bacon donut?
Yeah, like it, the maple bacon.
Yeah, the maple bacon.
Yeah, a little bit sweet and a salt.
I don't want that. I don't want that.
The people like it.
All right, boy.
But not very popular, not the most popular things.
But it's still good.
You do bear claws?
Yes.
Yeah.
The apple inside.
Oh, you do apple inside the bear claw?
Yes, yes.
Put the cinnamon sugar and the cinnamon is.
I mean, I'll be honest.
You're turning me on.
I like a bear claw with some cinnamon apple.
That sounds pretty good.
What about cronuts?
Do you remember cronuts?
I made before, but in my area, I'm not that popular.
They're not popular anymore.
Yeah.
But for a while there, cronuts had a moment.
Yes. Oh, everybody loved a cronut.
Yes.
Were they harder to make or no?
It's very harder. It's like kind of a caisson and a donut together.
Oh, yeah. I know what happens. And they go into a room and they make love and have little babies.
Yes.
What did those cost? Were they more expensive?
Yes.
All right. Winnie, this is good stuff.
How many donuts do you sell in a single day?
I didn't count. It's like a, it depends. A regular day or weekend.
Okay. Let's go weekend.
At least, 70 dozen.
70 dozen at the bottom end.
Yes, yes.
When do you stop making donuts?
You should start at 3 p.m.
You start at 3 p.m.
Yeah, my baker.
Your baker starts at 3 p.m. goes through the night.
Night until the next day.
And then when does he stop during the day?
It depends.
Some until like 6 a.m. 7 a.m.
Okay.
Some like earlier, like 4 a.m.
Okay.
But he has to be finished all them, half all.
Most of them is like before 5, because we open 5 a.m.
You open at 5 a.m.
So he has to be finished with most of them before you open.
Yes.
And what do you do with the extra donuts at the end of the day that don't sell?
I send it to some fire department, this department, and the logo the singing home.
Okay.
Yes.
You're doing, this is it, you got your holes in.
And how many donuts are you having to get rid of at the end of the day?
Not a lot.
I check the weather, check the holiday.
I know how many I sell for next day.
What does the weather affect, how does the weather affect how much donuts you sell?
When the weather way hot, the people don't go out.
Okay.
That's why the business is slow.
Okay, so right now it's slow because of the heat.
Yes, yes.
But when it starts getting cold and rainy?
Yes, get busier, busy, a busy, a busy.
It's good to hear.
Is the donut game recession proof?
You know, in American, they have the donut culture.
They go to school, they go to hospital.
They always bring donuts.
This can be American culture, but right now it's not good.
Company, even the people, they're cutting budget.
It kind of a little bit slow.
Okay.
I never thought about bringing donuts to the hospital,
but that seems like a good idea.
Yeah, to the nurse.
Sure, the nurses love donuts.
Nurses don't eat healthy at all.
Yes.
Do cops really eat a lot of donuts?
Yes, they eat a lot.
They do?
Yes.
Like sometimes I donate a lot to them.
Do you give cops free donuts?
Sometimes.
But if they've done something bad on the news, then do you say knock it off?
But I give them for my local.
station. Uh-huh. Yes, I give them. Not like a
far away. I don't know that. Okay, okay. So you're only
helping the local boys in your neighborhood. I know that. Okay, you know
that they're good. Yeah, yeah. Thank goodness. How much does it cost to make
one donut? Depends, because it's all different.
I know. The glaze, like... How much is a glazed donut cost you? I think
including label, I think
150 or 175 for each.
You're making some good money?
Yeah.
What's the story behind the name Blinkies?
How did they come up with the name Blinky?
The Blinky is the first owner.
His name is Blinky.
The first owner's name was Blinky?
Yes.
Is that a nickname or is that a birth name?
I think it's a nickname.
Okay.
Like he's a white guy.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
He opened this shop, the first owner.
Then they saw the Cambodia.
Okay.
The third owner also Cambodia.
Fourth is also Cambodia, like this.
But now you?
Yes.
Not.
I think I...
You consider yourself Cambodia just because you married a Cambodian?
I don't know, yeah.
It's only my husband.
Uh-huh.
He used to be had a donut shop before in Sunset Boulevard.
Your husband had a donut shop on Sunset Boulevard?
Yes.
Before you were married?
Yes, about 10 years.
Mm-hmm.
He owned last shop 10 years.
But something broke by getting slow.
He shut down.
Okay.
Okay.
And then he got into the blinkies.
No, he opened another business.
Another one?
Yes.
And how'd that one do?
That one is like selling fruit and the vegetable to the supermarket.
Does he ever help you with the donut shop?
Not a lot.
No?
Yes.
How many locations do you have?
I have two right now.
Are you going to open another one?
I hope so.
You do?
Where do you want to open one?
I don't know, yeah.
Okay, but in the area or far away?
In this area.
Okay.
You want the west?
I mean, I'd love it over here in the west.
Oh, that would be wonderful.
I don't, you know, a lot of these people around here pretend like they don't want to eat donuts all day,
but I think it would do pretty well.
Why did Blinkies not go with the traditional pink box?
The traditional pink box of donuts is the standard
in every donut store in Los Angeles.
But you guys went a little different with yours.
Because I want to like this brand is more attractive.
This is the package.
You know, the pink box, not a good, very good material.
Okay, the material is.
garbage on the pink box.
And the oil always comes out.
Okay.
And that goes on to your car seat.
Yes.
That's why I use, like, a good material to making box.
Let me, I'm going to give you some history here.
The traditional pink donut box became an iconic industry standard in Southern
California during the late 70s, largely thanks to Cambodian refugee entrepreneur,
Ted Noy, N-G-O-Y, also known as the donut.
King. Okay? That's just good intel right there. Yeah, the Donut King is like,
did you watch the movie, Donut King? I didn't watch it. Is it good? Yeah, they tell
how to the L.A. Donut industry. I'll watch the Donut King. Yeah, you can check. Yeah,
let's watch the Donut King, guys. How long before we'll see your son working the cash register
with his homework in front of him? He never worked in the donut shop. I know, but I'm saying,
will he? Are you going to make your son work there?
He knows already how to selling doughnut.
I teach him at home.
How can I help you?
What do you want?
How old is your son now?
Four years.
Is he four?
Yes.
Okay.
He likes doing business.
He doesn't like study, but he likes doing business.
He likes mass.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
Oh, that's great.
You have a very, very good sense with money.
He said, oh, I don't have money.
I want to buy this.
Do I really have to drive out to San Gabriel for the best Chinese food in L.A.?
I think so.
Is there any other places closer to me that I can go for good Chinese food?
Panda.
Where?
Panda Express is very close for it, but it's not good.
No, I want good food.
Like a, okay, like a traditional Chinese.
But you have to go to the same area, Singapore.
I have to go over the same area.
I'm living in San Gabriel.
Okay, you live there.
Yes.
Yeah.
Well, that's where all the good Chinese food is.
There have a lot.
What about coffee?
Are you selling coffee?
Yeah, I sell a lot of coffee?
Yes.
because I used
the only 100%
Arabic coffee beans.
Okay?
Yes.
Then I have
regular coffee and the French
rose and the
Dica and the French banana
flavor and the hazona flavor.
I have a lot different options.
Look at Art. You're like a fancy
barista. Yeah. Okay, good for you.
Describe some of these rich, crazy
people that hire
you to cater their events.
That is inferring.
An influencer?
Yes.
An influencer?
Yes.
Okay.
Then he has a party in his house.
Okay.
And he owned like, I think, 50 dozen.
We decorate for them.
I have a cost of donuts.
They put their logo on that.
But they don't eat it.
I saw the, they slew to each other, like, for four.
So he ordered 50 dozen donuts and they didn't even eat them?
They eat some of them.
They like a stone, stew.
each other like this.
They threw the donuts at each other?
Yes.
What a horrible party.
Do you recognize celebrities when they come into your store or no?
No, actually, no, I don't know them.
No.
No.
I came into your store all the time, and then one time you just grabbed me to take a photo
with me.
And I'm like, you just like, come, come, and we just went outside and we take a phone.
I'm like, okay, we'll take a photo.
But I don't think you had any idea who I was.
Last time I don't know yet
But I Google it
You Google it
Yes
I say my coworker told me
You know he's
A lot time my English
Not good
Okay
So I said
What is his name
He's spelled it
Okay type for me
I Google it
Oh I see
Then
Then
When I went to
Las Vegas
I saw the poster
Uh huh
Oh
I told my friend
This is my customer
She saw my poster in Vegas
So cool
That's her customer
I said this is my customer
Then
I say oh really
Because they're Chinese
Why you have a white guy customer
It's famous
I said oh he's
He come my donut shop
I said oh
Then let's I Google it
I use my IG to check
You see
He has a million followers
Oh, look at that.
Then we buy the tickets into the casino still, right?
They hear your lesson your show.
Because our English is not good.
Actually, we complete unstable.
You couldn't understand the show.
I'm sorry.
You should have just asked me how to give you free tickets.
and then I would have also told you not to come see this show
and go watch something else.
My friend said, you should call him his name on the stage?
Yes.
Then for not, for fancy, we finished show.
We worked another, I saw another poster, also my customer.
Look at you.
You know every comedian in Vegas.
Then I said, it's also my customer.
I forgot his name.
Uh-huh.
Then I used age child.
Oh, he has a 3 million followers.
More than me.
Whoa.
I don't like that.
I said, wow.
I said, oh, because La A lot of famous people live in La area.
I think my friend, before I said, you like me.
Because my English is not good.
How do community with communication with the people?
I say, oh, this is my customer.
I said, I don't know him.
My co-worker know it.
Okay. Do you enjoy Las Vegas?
Yes. It's only too hard. But in casino, no.
No, it's nice in the casinos.
Yeah, yes.
Do you like to gamble?
No.
You don't? No, I don't like.
What about slot machines? Do you like slot machines?
Yes.
You pull it, win?
Have you ever won any money?
No.
Always lost. That's why I don't like it.
Okay. We'll be right back.
Are you going to run?
run this business for the rest of your life?
I don't know, yeah.
No?
I can't, I guess life is so long.
I don't have, I always don't have like a long plan.
Okay, you don't have a long plan?
No.
What about next year?
Will you still be running it next year?
Yes.
You'll let me know if you ever plan on changing it.
Oh.
You're not going to close the store ever.
No, no, no, no.
Okay.
That would break my heart.
Because already like 66 years old.
They're doing a lot of like a tongue, up,
down.
I never close.
Which feels more like home to you now?
China or here in L.A.?
I think right now is here.
Okay.
Mm-hmm.
Because I'm living more time than living in China.
You know, my friend Pierre, he's a French guy,
he just got back from China yesterday.
Mm-hmm.
He got an award.
I don't know how he did.
Tell me how this speech is.
What's new,
What did he sayer to
children's day, right, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Yeah.
What did he say?
The guy say, right?
Yeah, what did the guy say?
Hello everybody.
Yes.
Happy independent day.
Okay.
Happy middle autumn day.
That's the middle autumn day.
That's the mid-autum days, like a traditional Chinese holiday.
Okay.
That's all he said?
Yes.
Good job, Pierre.
Everybody that's on the show gets a gift.
Oh, really?
Okay, but it's not a good gift.
Oh, wow.
It's just stuff that I find in my house that I don't want anymore.
Not dog?
You're not getting Carl.
Leave Carl alone.
Okay?
Your first gift.
Oh, wow.
Is up.
Does your son play soccer?
No, wow.
He's going to love this.
Okay?
We love this.
Yeah, you put it in.
Oh, he's coming in.
He's coming to you.
Yes, he loves you.
Look, look, you kick it, and then when it hits this, it goes through here, it comes around to the other side.
It's a whole game.
He'll love this.
He'll love this.
Oh, I see, I see.
He practices, you kick it in the goals, or you kick it here, you get a score.
Oh, wow.
Oh, it would be nice.
Here, go set that on the floor.
Oh, thank you, thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
On the floor.
Thank you.
That's just one gift for your son.
Okay?
Next, this gift.
Oh, man.
I can't wait for him to have this.
Oh, wow.
This is, this is, um, you build these tunnels and it's got air and the ball goes flying around.
And they learn to make different things.
Always going to love this.
The box is bad, but it's brand new inside.
You're going to love it.
Oh, no.
One more.
Do you decorate your store for the holidays?
Yes.
For Halloween?
Yeah, Halloween.
I got something for you.
Wow.
Oh, you'll love it.
This has lights.
Oh, you're, you eat, put this in your store, give it to your son, I don't know, whatever, we'll see.
It'll take a while, don't worry about this.
Wow.
Oh, that's nice.
Is that call?
No, it's an alien, it's an alien spaceship sucking up a cow into it.
Oh, wow.
You're gonna love it.
It'll take a while, don't worry, we're not done.
How old is this dog?
What?
How old is this dog?
Dog is four. Five.
Whatever.
Oh, look at there.
You're not...
More work interested in the dog.
Look at it.
Oh, look at this good boy.
Good boy, okay.
It's almost done.
Winnie, it's almost done.
Don't worry about it.
You're gonna love this.
Oh.
Oh, you're gonna love this, Wendy.
Wow.
This is a special gift
Yes, that's a very special gift
It's a
It's a spaceship with an alien
You know, well, I don't know where you'll find
You'll find a fun spot for that, Winnie
Yeah, wow
What do you like to do in your spare time?
What is spare time?
Great question
You probably don't have a lot of spare time
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun
Yeah, just for you, what do you like to do for fun?
Oh, for fun
Like sleeping, eating?
Sleeping and eating?
Yeah.
That's it?
Yeah.
What?
It's pretty simple.
Do you like to, do you ever exercise?
No.
No?
No.
What about, do you ever go to concerts to see music?
No.
No?
Movies?
You ever watch movies?
No.
I play my phone.
You play on your phone?
Yes.
Winnie.
It's wrong.
I kind of be old people.
What do you play on your phone?
TikTok.
You just look at TikTok.
You just look at TikTok?
Yeah, watch YouTube.
You're like a 15-year-old.
Yeah.
Nothing else for fun?
I'm trying to...
I mean, she goes to Vegas.
You go to Vegas?
How often...
Oh, travel.
You like to travel.
Yeah, I like it.
Okay.
Yeah.
That's nice.
Then...
What else?
When I travel, I spend money, and I go back to work.
That's a circle.
That's a circle.
I like it.
She's got to work.
She has to travel and then spends the money and then has to go back to work.
Yes.
You did something very nice for me.
Oh.
Okay?
And you brought me donuts.
Yeah.
Oh, this is exciting.
Guys, I just can't tell you how happy that makes.
Oh, I see something that I didn't realize you.
This is nice.
I couldn't have picked out a better dozen if I was there.
What about when people get the
Do you get mad when people are selecting their dozen
And it's taking them a long time to pick it out?
No
That doesn't get you mad?
No, no, no, no, no.
What about when people can't count to 12
And they are like, how many more do I need?
Does that bother you?
No, no, no.
I always tell them, okay, four, please, five points.
You've got two more, let's go?
I like to spend more time in my shop.
Okay, you don't speed them up?
No.
Okay. What about stacking donuts on top of each other? Do you do that?
No, I like to keep my donut organized.
I appreciate that you keep the donuts organized.
I mean, it just looks perfect.
Yes, you can see it.
Did you see that through the cow, Eddie?
I can see it, yeah. I like that you can see into the box.
Oh, you see into the box.
Everything's beautiful about it.
Then people always bring donuts as a gift.
Send it to the hospital.
Okay, I get it.
You keep, maybe they wouldn't be in the hospital so much if they would stop just eating donuts too many.
Winnie, thank you for the donuts.
Thank you for your business.
We love coming in to see you.
And I wish you all the success.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I want to thank Winnie for coming on my show and bringing us donuts.
What do you think, Carl?
Did she bring you one?
She didn't, but guess what?
All those donuts are yours if we turn our back for one second.
This next portion of the conversation is sponsored by Cal She.
Winnie brought us donuts.
Yep.
Do you want to predict which donut I go for first?
I do.
Okay?
Chocolate glazed.
Oh.
See, you got to wait, Eddie, because I can give you some inside information.
I fucked.
And I'll just tell you.
God, I'm so bad at predictions.
Glazed.
I go glazed.
Now, my second donut, what do I go for?
Cinnamon.
Ah, I fucked up.
Sugar.
Sugar.
Sugar is my second donut.
And then later tonight, I'll heat up a chocolate covered.
That would have been my prediction for the third one.
That's like a dessert donut later on.
I like it.
Oh, do you get three donuts today?
I will most likely eat three donuts today, and I will feel disgusting about it.
it. Well, that's good. Sometimes I cut out a quarter of every donut to give to my kids.
Oh, if anybody catches me eating a donut, that's like kind of like... Shame tax. Well, yeah,
it's like the mob. Hey, just shut up about it. Yeah. You can see anything. I'm not proud of it. I want to

Let's do. They love me. They love me not.
You got anything for me today?
I do.
From Amber Price 8077.
You interview people who are so interesting and knowledgeable,
and you ask such honest and thoughtful questions.
Definitely one of the greatest interviewers out there today.
Always excited for Tuesdays.
Oh, man.
You think I'm good.
Right.
You know, Amber, you really missed Barbara Walters in her prime.
Because not only were the interviews interesting, her gams.
Gorgeous legs.
All those legs.
Couldn't get enough of them.
Are you got to love me not?
P.D.U.6.
It just is the best garbage I've listened to all week.
Nah, that's not so bad.
He's calling this podcast garbage, or he's calling me garbage,
but he's saying, I'm the best.
Top of the heap.
Of that garbage.
And I don't know how much garbage he's listening to.
Right.
You know, what if he listens to 10 or 15 of the top grossing podcast,
and he's saying, I'm the best of that garbage?
Yeah, so, I mean, it could be I love you.
All right.
I'll take it.
That's a win.
Win, win.
See you next week.
Thank you.
