Also make sure to give us five stars. But 30 minute Thursdays, break down what's happening in the last week of all things, money, drama, markets, and more. But David, I think where we got to start is Jesse Solomon was our main guest this week on Monday, trading secrets, of course, from Summerhouse, the biggest and best buzz and show on Bravo, which is, seems like the big. biggest and best network as of late.
Starting point is 00:01:48 A lot of action. David, let's just jump right into the recap. Jesse Solomon. What do you think? It's a good day to be a Bravo executive anything at Bravo right now. Anywhere you turn, it's Bravo, bravo, bravo, we're going to talk Bravo.
Starting point is 00:02:01 We're going to talk Bachelor crossover, is a little bit in some pop culture breakdown. I know you probably got some business stuff for us, but yes, we are going to start Jesse Solomon, a repeat guest second time. Great to have Jesse back on the show. I thought it was an awesome episode. And I got to say,
Starting point is 00:02:14 a refined version of Jesse, a little more mature version of Jesse. I think Jesse is someone who probably would like, a guy who listens to the recaps and reflects on Jesse. There was some really awesome, wholesome aspects of the episode. And one that you reflected on when you gave him a quote from the last time, when he said, I'm the main character of my movie. Now everyone else gets to see it and like me.
Starting point is 00:02:39 He's like, wow, I sound like a cock. I loved that breakdown of just his, perspective of how things have changed where he is and the new passions that he's pursuing because of it. So I thought it was a great episode, Jason. All right. I'm glad that you liked the episode. It was great to see Jesse from, I don't know, he's had some highs, lows, left, and rights. But great guys going on tour.
Starting point is 00:03:01 So shout out to Jesse for going on tour. Did you have any takeaways or curiosities or thing that kind of made you think after that one? 100,000 songs uploaded to stream every single day. when he said that stat that there's 100,000 songs that get uploaded on streaming services every single day, it makes me wonder how anyone gets noticed in that industry. It really makes me wonder. We've talked industry plans before. We've talked this.
Starting point is 00:03:29 We've talked that. It makes me wonder how you really separate yourself in the music industry when you're talking 100,000 songs that get put up every day. You're trying to stick out like a needle in the haystack. One thing I respect about Jesse, yes, he's using his platform. him to launch this music career. He talked about how he's in finance. Now he's closer to the entertainment industry. Spark that for him. I love how he's not taking advantage of it to the point where he said, I'm not skipping any steps. I'm not doing any venues that I think I'm too big for. I want to go through this like the regular musician steps. He talked about his first sold out show in
Starting point is 00:04:02 Brooklyn where he lost $9,000 on the show because he wanted to do it the right way and he was so proud of himself for filling it and giving a proper concert. I love how he's came to where he is in his life. how he says blocking out the haters and doing something passionately. I just thought that was really cool. I was probably one of my biggest takeaways that he's really entering a crazy industry. But did you get that vibe from him too? This industry is just insane. I think of all the industries that we know when you talk about industry plants like music, man,
Starting point is 00:04:30 it is just living in Nashville. You get access to see some of these writers and these musicians who have more talent in their pinky than some musicians that have become big time stars. And so the question of how do they get there to me is always a huge question mark, bigger than probably any other industry in entertainment. Have you ever heard of shelving? No, I have not. Tell me about it. So listen to how shelving works. And for all my music experts out there, please feel free to correct me, send me a DM, send me a message. But my understanding, this is how shelving works. If you have a certain, okay, suppose there is someone who is like jelly roll. And they are, let's say they're bigger. They've had a, let's just say, like, track history of being in prison or like a darker history and overcame it and are empowering. And they have a country music tonality to them.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Like, they can replicate what Jelly Roll does. If a label or a network knows that Jelly Roll is going to be the next guy, like he's the one set up, they will sign that person that has similarity to them. And they'll give them a nice signing package and everything. And then they shelf them. So they make them sign. They control their rights and they essentially put them on a shelf so that other person can come on. Or if you look at, you know, just think about like anyone that's like big and has a specific
Starting point is 00:05:56 unique character to their voice, to their brand, they'll find people that could be competitive to them or even better, but they're not that person. They sign them and shelf them. And like the music industry is so cut throw in their contracts. Like to make money in the music industry with all the layers of people that are getting paid out, it's just crazy. It's a crazy industry. Crazy industry. And you used to make, you used to, I think, be able to make a lot more money off it as a performer with like record sales and album sales, even though those were really small.
Starting point is 00:06:29 But now streaming, it's gotten so crazy. We've talked about streaming farms before on this podcast where in countries around the world, there's streaming farms that are connected to devices just trying to. It's illegal, legal, I don't know, where they have thousands and thousands of devices set up in a warehouse that are streaming songs to boost them up charts and things of that nature. It's an absolutely crazy industry. This is why, like, when you talk about like people that are possibly streaming, we're talking about like in these like random places, you got these digital people or you hear about the Baldoni case and the lively case and you hear there's conversation about all these like different bots out there that are doing commenting and they're ridiculing. and they're ridiculing people on Reddit and things like that. I don't, if here's my golden rule, like, you want to talk shit to me in my comments. You could talk shit to me all day.
Starting point is 00:07:18 And I will keep that comment there. If you are a bot, there's, I don't trust anybody anymore. I can, because all of a sudden, like, I'll have nine out of ten good comments and then I'll get like four in a row of just these, like the same comment, like random negative comments that have like almost nothing to even do with it. And they're all bots. I'm like, oh, these, I just don't trust you. You're a bot. See you. Bye. Yeah, no bots in this house. Can't be leaving the bots. Can't be giving the bot the time of day? That's scary though. Because now you, how do you know what's a bot?
Starting point is 00:07:48 That's the thing. Essentially, you could assassinate someone's character if you want or make the attempt to with robots. Like how is saying is that? But how do you know what's a bot? You click on it. Oh, how do I know? Yeah. They've never posted or it's like a, it's like a page where they have 12 different posts and none of them make sense. The person's face has never shown. They've never reposted. They've essentially done no activity. that makes it's really easy to tell what it is why why is it is it someone creating the bot are they making money off that or are they just like to be a troll no there's just a lot of trolls out there there's no one everyone in this space has enemies to some degree whether you know who those enemies are or aren't that happens jesse solomon knows the thing i too about enemies but he's came out on the right side of things one of my favorite parts of the episode where you asked him to 2023 and you came on your goal is to be making millions in 2025 did you do it and he looks at you and he goes I'll tell if you tell
Starting point is 00:08:40 in his like funny thing and you went bang like a 224 I made two and a half million and you went off and he looked at you was like jaw was on the floor he's like Jason you are
Starting point is 00:08:49 you know what he gave a compliment to you in this industry there's not many people left to look up to and he looks up to you he said that was really nice yeah he said that at the start and I think he really obviously meant it
Starting point is 00:08:58 and then to have that moment come up in the episode and this was before JTA aired and you like when it rattled off these numbers he was like holy shit it was good to see that he's obviously broke the seven figure threshold We love to see people succeed in the pod.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Then he talked a little bit about how one of his biggest expenses that has changed is his rent. And last time he was on, he had 6K combined rent from Miami to New York. Now he's at 11K combined rent, which sounds like an atrical number, but he gave a Jason Tartic answer to it. He goes, listen, I know it's more. I've thought about buying. I'm battling renting versus buying. If I bought a million dollar home and put a 20% down payment on that quick math from the Curious Canadian, $200,000, He said he'd rather reinvest that in the market and he'll make more money off the $200,000
Starting point is 00:09:40 in the market than he will owning a home by the time he pays it out over the interest that it's created and the market value of the home, which I thought was a pretty good answer, Jason. What was your take on his financial strategy there? I agree with it, honestly. I rented my whole life until I'm 37. I now bought a house. And the reason I bought a house is because for 37 years, business was good. Markets returned.
Starting point is 00:10:01 I stacked money away. And now I'm at a stage in life like where I want that. the house. I want this house with Catherine. I want to grow a family here. Like I look at my future, this house serves as a foundational piece for that, right? Jesse's not in that stage. So I agree with him. Like right now, especially with how volatile markets are, which we could talk about. The swings are absolutely crazy right now. I think you could do better. And I totally understand, especially with him, he's moving a lot. He doesn't know what's next. He doesn't know the next job. He's going to get where he's going to sign, where he's going to move, what city he'll be,
Starting point is 00:10:32 and even what country he'll be in based on the opportunities that show up. So I, I agree with the move. And I'll tell you someone who it has a house now. Dude, wait, this is crazy. Now, I'm new to this,
Starting point is 00:10:43 okay? So some people will listen to this and be like, yeah, dude, wake up. Some people listen to this. It'd be like, you're fucking kidding me.
Starting point is 00:10:49 This is a joke. And it comes from a place of, this is a statement that comes from privilege. I know, okay? But I still want to give you my raw take on this. We had someone come into this house the other day, and he was a great guy,
Starting point is 00:11:02 by the way, awesome guy that comes highly recommended. He went around the house with Catherine for like two hours going through all the different windows to look at blinds and shades and drapery and all that shit. I don't know anything. I'm not good at picking the colors of that stuff. You just want to Bill's Jersey and you want. Yeah. There's some things interior-wise I have style for. I don't have much as I made a joke on that reel that I posted today. But it's not my thing. So should they go out, how much you think the quote was for drapery
Starting point is 00:11:31 and window shades or whatever? How many windows are we talking? talking about. We're probably talking like, you know, 30 some windows. I don't know. I mean, drapery windows. I'm thinking 13 grand. 40 some thousand bucks. I'm out on that. I was like, what? And everything like the amount, obviously I have a finance guy. So I have a number of how much I from the day I will move in. Okay, this is how much I want to target to spend by this period of time. But dude, it's crazy once you get in the house. It's just a full on money pit. And this is a brand new But at the, like any, like outdoor furniture, indoor furniture, these chairs, this like this, the landscaper, the pesticides. Oh, we got six more TVs.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Got it. Oh, I was like, man, I got to get working. I need to go back on, I need to go back on something. I need to do something. It's so funny that you're, listen, the reason why I know we're going to have a podcast for a long time. And I think why 30 minute Thursday is going to stick is we didn't plan it this way. But I went through the home buying process six years before you the first time. I have a three-year-old and a three-month-old.
Starting point is 00:12:42 I'm like a viewer. I'm like a fan watching you go through for the first time and see your reactions, get to ask you the questions and relive it. And I think a lot of our listeners are probably either my age and my experiences or your age and your experiences, not age. We're pretty much the same age. But life experiences or they're looking forward to that. So I think bringing them along is fun like that.
Starting point is 00:13:02 And then the home buying process is crazy. I'll always say it's like the biggest purchase you ever make in your life. And you test drive a car for longer than you spend inside of a home before you buy it, which is crazy. Any other pop-up insulary costs that you're like, what the hell is going on here? The drapes is a fantastic one. But is there any other cost you're like, wait, I got to pay for this or I never thought about this. I mean, like it just doesn't stop. Like getting a full security system.
Starting point is 00:13:28 It doesn't stop monthly. Then you monthly paying for that. For that. Monthly paint for the, for the freaking landscaping. You got to get a landscaper. And then I got to get a company that could just make it green because there's a green because I can't be the one in the neighborhood without the green thing, you know. I have that.
Starting point is 00:13:43 There's another one. This house is built beautifully. I mean, I've had a triple quadruple expected, inspected, like they did a great job. But they did a trash job on the mailbox. So now I need to get a mailbox. Dude, it's just like bar stools. You know how much nice bar stools cost?
Starting point is 00:13:56 So expensive. Dude, a bed frame? The bed frame that we're looking at. you know how much she's, I'm like, we're keeping this bed frame until I die. That thing is going in the will. Ashley, the one thing Ashley bought in the house that she was adamant was like the mattress. It was like, all right, honey, you can have the mattress.
Starting point is 00:14:12 I got the, in the mail, I'm checking. It was like from the mattress company that she got it from. And I opened it up and I saw the price. I was like, wow, it's a cheap mattress. And I was like, wait, this is monthly. Wait, you're paying this amount for 10 years? Bro, our mattress was like $12,000. What?
Starting point is 00:14:30 I don't have anything. I don't have brand deals coming in to the point where I can afford $12,000 mattresses. What kind of mattress was it? NASA. I don't know. Space ship, man. It's got fucking, it's got different levels.
Starting point is 00:14:42 It can heat. It can cool. I don't know. I thought a little purse was coming down and chop my pillow up, but it's nice. I don't know. When she rolls out of bed, I don't hear it.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Even, dude, you want nice sheets? These days, you're like, oh, let's get nice sheets. Nice sheets are like 500 bucks. What the fuckers going on out there? patio furniture is the most.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Like we have the pool at the house. Like every time it's I got to buy four new lawn chairs, it's like I'm in it for like two grand. It's like what for a fucking patio launcher? What are we talking about? Yeah, it's just it adds up. And I want, I'm putting it out there again. I know for everyone listening, it's rolling your eyes.
Starting point is 00:15:19 We both know this comes from a place of privilege. But it's also realistic eye-opening things that are happening in our lives that we want to be honest about. But it's just like why just like housing expenses just written. And like every way you turn your corner, I'm like, oh my God, I need to be, I got to start doing more. I got, you know, what I did immediately today because I'm like in panic mode a little. I had my old BMW. I went on Carvana immediately sold it.
Starting point is 00:15:44 I had a guy come and pick it up today. Wrote me a check right there. Boom. No way. Oh, yeah. That car needs new brakes. That car needs windshield's broken. It's got electrical.
Starting point is 00:15:53 I mean, this car is a train wreck. It's got 60,000 miles BMW from 2019. How much you think I sold it for? X5, 2019, you drive like a psycho. Oh, this thing is beat to $26,000. 198. Okay. Which is a huge win.
Starting point is 00:16:11 I took it to a guy who's a mechanic. He's, you know, for me to get this thing in the place that's got to be, 10K, do not, don't sell this thing. He told me, like, if you can get 15, you're in good shape. So I got 19.8.
Starting point is 00:16:21 But you know what 19.8's going? Half of your drapes. Oh, yeah. And now I'm treating it like a business. I'm like a cash flow. I'm going to my storage unit. I'm selling shit. Dude, I'm selling shit.
Starting point is 00:16:30 on Facebook Marketplace. I met a guy today. He's so pieces of stuff. I'm selling you. I'm like, okay, that's my new fund because it's credit. It just adds up quick. And then obviously I do JTA, so I tell you guys how much I make, the range I make. Now quarterly taxes come in. So you got to pay, the government makes you pay quarterly taxes. So I have to pay quarterly taxes based on last year's earning. It's a lot more than 200 grand. Okay, I got to pay that quarterly. Okay. So you talk about cash outflow I'm like What is going on?
Starting point is 00:17:02 I need to do I need to go on only fans or something Could you imagine 25 year old Geneseo Tardic being like Yo I'm going to get a sick BMW X5 blacked out black grims black And then I'm going to sell it And the money that I get from that Is going to pay for half of the amount of fucking drapes in my house
Starting point is 00:17:22 Hey here I'm trading in my BMDU I'm getting half of the amount of grapes that I need for my house. Who are drapes? I don't even know what drapes are. They make a difference. I know. We'll tell you. I know.
Starting point is 00:17:38 It's one of those things. They make a difference. But I think the thing is that is a good, the point you made is really important. And that's one that I've actually talked to Catherine, a serious note about is I'm now in the house. And we're getting here and one packing. And it's truly my dream house. And it is with my dream girl. And it's the best thing in the world.
Starting point is 00:17:58 But the thing is, and I even talk to my therapist about it, I'm such a windshield guy. Like I'm always looking, okay, we did it. Now I got to maintain it. I got to keep it. I got to build up. And it's such a go forward mentality. But like, you've got to enjoy the time in the journey and sit back. And like we've talked about, hey, let's sit like, I know we're talking about this.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Let's just sit here for a second, look around and be like, holy shit. And when I do that, I'm just like, I. I can't believe that like this is maybe one of the first times other than talking to cats I'm looking around like this is my house that's crazy you need here's what you need yeah okay the house is big enough where every house has that room that you don't it has no functionality so you don't normally use it you need to have a chair in that house that is your chair that if you walk by it so many times in a day or in a week or in a month it's a reminder that I just got to go sit in that chair. I go sit in that chair. I go put the phone down. It may be two minutes. It may be turned into
Starting point is 00:19:00 30 minutes. And I'm just going to sit. Look at the house. I'm going to remember. I'm going to reflect. I'm going to feel that. And then I'm going to go back onto my life. Because I know goddamn well as you're designing what to do with each corner, nook and cranny, that there's, whether it's a room that has a wine bar in it or it has a something in it or has this in it. Don't put a TV in there. Just have a nice little conversational area where you walk past it. for three months or for a week and you're like, you know what, I just need to, I need to sit in that chair because I need to just remember what's important. I think you should do that. I'm going to do that. I'm going to do a little chair. I'm creating, I am doing a podcast room.
Starting point is 00:19:37 So let's come in to guess slowly, but if Gurney will ever show up and help me out, I'll have a podcast room. Gurney's on too many dates to set up a podcast. But you were on the, you're on the floor last week. It seems like you're on some kind of sitting surface today. I'm on a nice little love sack chair here. So, you know, and that's like that, on a series. know, it's so fortunate in this space. You can work with a lot of brands and stuff. And it creates other opportunities. Like, it's crazy how through content, which is a big part of my earnings, as we've talked about, it's storytelling of what's actually happening. That's what content is. And so this story of this chapter is so fascinating. And it's creating great storytelling because
Starting point is 00:20:15 it's so real. It's happening. And so it's just, it's life. It's a cool chapter. I'm excited for it. It's funny. Every single neighbor is like, they're all married with like little kids. and we're like, yo, we got to get going here. Listen, if you are tuning into 30 minute Thursdays and you don't want to hear house updates, too bad because I'm living through Jason in this process. I think it's hilarious. I can't wait for him to come on and have,
Starting point is 00:20:38 it's going to be a segment without being a segment. Jason's snapshot about something that he found out, he has to deal with at the house. And then if we get that same thing with through, hopefully. I got a funny one. I got a funny one for you. I love funny ones. Before you rip, before you go.
Starting point is 00:20:52 I sold one of these, one of my things to it. It's a piece of furniture that I had from my storage unit like years and years ago. And I sold it. And a guy came and he's like, ah, my buddy's going to grab the truck. So this guy comes around the corner and he says, oh, nice to meet you guys. And he's all, I live right around the corner. I just put a pool in. You should come check it out. You should put a pool and blah, blah, blah. And then he said something like, I love real estate. I was like, oh, what do you do? Are you in real estate? And he's, oh, no, I'm a singer and an actor. I was like, oh, okay, that's cool. And then he, I was like, so what are you a singer for? And it's for the the band that's called the big time rush.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Okay. And then he had, this guy had rolls and frozen and ground and sees him around and his name's James Maslow. Nicest guy in the world, absolute stud lives around the corner. I'm like, that's crazy. Selling stuff on Facebook marketplace.
Starting point is 00:21:41 I mean, unreal. He was just there for his buddy. But anyway. Speaking of singers, I got to say something happened. Did you know that something happened in the Jesse Solomon episode? First time it's happened in the history of treating secrets?
Starting point is 00:21:53 What happened? No. You didn't ask him for a trading secret. That's a pause. You didn't ask him for a trading secret. You asked him to sing a jingle about trading secrets. And so the trading secret was his voice. Maybe he was unlocking his voice for the viewers who haven't heard it.
Starting point is 00:22:10 But for the first time, no trading secret, Jason. How do you feel about that? I feel a little shameful. We're just going to have to get Jesse Solomon on. We'll see what we'll... Should we have Jesse do the intro jingle for Thursday Thursdays? Thirsty Thursdays? It's not Thursday.
Starting point is 00:22:26 It's 30 minute Thursday. We could turn into, we could turn the whole title into a tonguequister. 30 minute thirsty Thursdays with Thartick and David. Thartick and David, Jesse Solomon doing the music. We might have to do that. Well, listen, we're going to have to see how Jesse Solomon makes some cameos, some appearances in the city, in the city coming up. Bravo, big show, obviously.
Starting point is 00:22:48 All those happenings are taking over our airways. Whitney Francie, Bachelor alumni, going on the show, making some cameos as well. some other bachelor alumni making some cameos, not really cameos, part of the show, Real Housewives of Rhode Island. Tune into that at Al Jair. I saw the clips of Ashley I talking about Jared because Ashley I is now one of the bat. She was, of course, from the Bachelor franchise and she's on Real Housewives of Rhode Island. And did you see this clip that I'm talking about? I saw it on social.
Starting point is 00:23:21 I didn't watch a show, but I saw it come across the social. Yeah, it was interesting to get interested to get your take on it being in that world. They were in the audience at the book tour in Boston. Oh, yeah. That was last night. What was that? What was that? What was restart roadmap, right?
Starting point is 00:23:35 2021. 2021. 2022. 2022. 2022. 2022. 2022. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Yeah. But I guess she was talking about some of the marriage struggles with Jared because he is unhappy. That and but his happiness is that he feels like. he's not doing enough for, I guess, the family and then the kids, and like he feels that, like, he's not being a good enough father because he's not bringing anything to the table with his project, his coffee restaurant. When I saw it, I felt really bad for him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:09 I was like, I've talked to him. Last time I talked to him was Chris Harrison's wedding. So that was three years ago, two and a half three years ago. And he said how much, like, work he's putting into it, but they're just, they're not, he wasn't making as much. But I don't know. I felt like that's got to be a tough, I think about that. And that's got to be a tough thing to go back on reality TV and then have some of those things aired out.
Starting point is 00:24:34 And I don't know. I felt like in that moment, I just felt really bad for him. Yeah. And I hope he's doing okay. And I hope he's okay with everyone now knowing that. But vulnerability creates connections. First off, show it out. He's not, you're not alone if you're feeling those things.
Starting point is 00:24:50 I'm married to kids trying to provide, trying to. to make a living. Sometimes it's tough the struggles when you see your family going through struggles or maybe not having a ease of life that you maybe once hoped. It's hard. And it's natural for the, it's natural for any male husband's supporter to feel that way. And what an interesting as a couple show to go on Real Housewives because I feel like the whole show is broadcasted around dramatic and tense conversations that have to do with your personal life that maybe you would never have as a couple individually. So to either have that. aired out or be a part of a show would just be interesting. So yeah, there's a lot of bachelor
Starting point is 00:25:28 crossovers in the pop culture world. So I just wanted to touch on those because we'll always touch on those. Yeah, really interesting stuff. Exactly. And it's good. There's got to be, it would be interesting to hear from them because it's got to be hard to put yourself back out there and like put some of those things back out there. Oh, yeah. And that's, and to your point, I feel like every relationship you go through those ebbs and flows of like just who, how you're earning and how you're contributing. I feel like, I mean, I know some people. I know a gentleman specifically who like had a big career and now doesn't work in that
Starting point is 00:26:03 career and does something else. And it's not what it was and feels he's dealt with a lot of those struggles of not contributing and stuff as a father. I think those are a real thing. So I just, I feel like that's got to be the double down of that being on reality TV and then the world knowing. But maybe it's also like in the. world that we live in right now, that type of vulnerability actually drives the business.
Starting point is 00:26:24 People are like, I'm going to help you out, man. I'm going to send you a Venmo. I'm going to be at your restaurant. So maybe the lesson is put that shit out there. I don't know. I just felt bad for him with it. But that's all I saw from the episode. I didn't watch the whole thing. It's always, we'll go back to Jesse Solomon. He goes, how real is reality TV? It's really fucking real. So if it is real and he is going through that, which I'm sure he would be. We're rooting for him. We're rooting for them to succeed. unlike you said. But Jay,
Starting point is 00:26:49 we're wrapping up. We only got about three minutes left. Anything that's top of mind? Listen, I got to give a shout out here. Buffalo Sabers making the playoffs. First time in 2011, breaking the longest streak in professional sports.
Starting point is 00:27:01 That now belongs to the New York Jets, longest playoff drought. What do you think in Buffalo Sabers? We're going to make a run? We're going to get the one seed? What's going on? You nervous for playoffs? What's up?
Starting point is 00:27:08 I'm just so happy we broke the longest trial at NHL history. The boys are back. Would love to get home ice advantage. What a difference that would make in the playoffs. but like they're buzzing. I think they're going to make a run. It's hard to beat momentum in this game. As you know, it's not always about skill.
Starting point is 00:27:24 It's about placement and chemistry. You can have the three most talented people on one line. You make one adjustment. Take one person off that. And that line could be the hottest in the world. So it's about momentum. It's a lot about momentum. I hope I get to experience it live.
Starting point is 00:27:37 I want to go to a game. That would be electric. If they play Montreal, going to that environment, Montreal would be a zoo. A kid that I coached Lane Hudson. He's on the Montreal Canadiens. One rookie of the year in the NHL.
Starting point is 00:27:47 So that would be a tug of my heartstrings there. I'm going to cheer for the hometown Sabers. I'm going to go with my boy Lane Hudson. We'll see on that. Good stuff. But I also want to say this, go saves. Lane Hudson, you and I, let's try and go to a game. Okay, so we're going to come on that.
Starting point is 00:28:01 But before we wrap, I know we're getting close to 30 minutes here. I got to tell you the markets today, it's Wednesday night, are booming. They're up, it's up 3%, over 3% every single indecis, because of this potential ceasefire. So what's going to happen? There's going to be more volatility. The ceasefire is not going to work. It's going to work.
Starting point is 00:28:16 There's going to be a fallout. We already saw that Israel bombed Lebanon. So now the Strait of Hermuz may not be open. So there's so much volatility. There's so much changing. Here's what I'm going to tell you, dollar cost average. Pick one time a week, one time a month, whatever you can afford, get into the market, get into the indices. VTI is a good one.
Starting point is 00:28:33 S&P 500. This is not investment advice. This is just from an educational standpoint. These are the things you've got to pay attention to. Getting it at a solid price point, you can't time it perfectly. And the indexes, they are moving high and low and moving all. over but get in the game that would be my suggestion or form of education David that's all I got from the markets anything else before we wrap up some markets me what do you got markets money and
Starting point is 00:28:56 i don't got markets unless it's the public market and I'm going to get some fresh fruit for the weekend I am going to Florida tomorrow taking the kids taking the wife much needed R and R hopefully the next week when I get this ring light on my face there's a little nice glow I need it I'm looking forward to it I'll let you know how it is on 30 minute Thursdays you You got anything fun coming up before you're up? I won't be in Coachella and I will not be at the charity event in Tampa Bay. I was supposed to go with Rob G. But I will be somewhere and that won't be in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:29:27 And that's all I have to say about that. Okay. There we go. We'll see you next week. Same time, same place. Or you won't. Or we won't. We'll find out more to come.
Starting point is 00:29:38 And that is a wrap. 30 minute Thursday.
