One thing I love about summer is just how easy everything feels. The days are a little more relaxed.
And, you know, I will tell you, just being in Europe, it's so comfortable. And that's why, in preparation for Europe, and even with the majority of my summer apparel, quince is a great answer.
They focus on well-made essentials that naturally become those everyday staples. You can actually live in all season long.
So one of the things that serve me well over in Europe, stylish but affordable, was their 100% European linen panes.
And their shirts are just super breathable.
Easy to throw it on.
Huge summer upgrade.
And they just started at $34.
$34.
Their teas are super soft as well.
You can live in those things all day.
And they got these light cotton sweaters right when it cools down at night.
Everything at Quince is 50 to 80% less than similar brands.
And they work directly with ethical factories and cut out the middlemen.
So you're paying for the exceptional quality, not this brand markup.
And again, getting ready for Europe.
what's a huge money saver, but knowing I'm going to get quality with a fit that pops.
Make your summer wardrobe easier.

The other episode of 30-minute Thursday, I'll tell you what, David.
We're on a run, baby.
the 30 minute Thursday is starting to become something.
So we are rocking and rolling.
We are here to stay.
And we're getting fourth and inches.
I'll tell you what,
you got to love contract negotiation,
but we are getting fourth and inches from signing a podcast deal,
which require 30 minute Thursdays to be in every single week.
So more to come on that.
But David, how are we feeling?
How are we living?
How are we doing?
I'm going to see you in the week.
Let's go, baby.
Listen, I just gone on this 30 minute Thursday,
fresh off of scrolling on my,
phone and coming across your story and you said, I think it was probably 36 minutes ago,
you had a story up there saying, I'm tired.
And you come out of the gates with that energy.
I don't know if I'm bringing it to you or if you're just putting on something for me.
Why are you tired?
You still tired?
What's going on?
Okay.
Here's why I'm tired.
Got it on Saturday.
We went out to John and Alex says they had a Ken and Barbie pool party Sunday,
hit it pretty good, got up at 6 a.m., took the train.
I had to do a back-to-back podcast swap, which is fascinating.
I was in the hot seat for about an hour and 30, 40 minutes in a small room, pretty toasty in there.
Then I went and interviewed him.
So those three hours of podcasting had another podcast after that in New York City.
It's just heavy meetings.
We had GMA Tuesday morning, which started at like 6 a.m.
That night went for my stuff.
I had more podcasting, more media stuff all to like 10.
Today I had more podcasting.
I have a TV thing coming.
It's just like go, go, go, go.
Yeah, man, there's just to spend just busy.
It's just busy.
I'm tired.
But you know what I do realize is that tired is a reality.
Tired is also a state of mind.
Yes.
And when you're around other energy, your tiredness changes because your adrenaline changes.
Your life change, all the changes.
So when I take this little break, I start to crash.
When I get back on the ones and twos with you right now, I'm back at it.
So that's the psychosis of energy.
It's all I got.
I love it.
You just said energy is a mindset.
I always say sick as a mindset.
I say that around my staff.
I say it around my players sometimes.
Maybe it's part of like we talked on a couple episodes ago.
and I haven't been to the doctors in 11 years.
I always tell Ashley, I'm like, sick.
The more you tell yourself you're sick, the more you actually feel sick,
the more your body goes into this, like, defense mechanism of sick mode,
sick's a mindset.
You're not really sick, unless you're actually sick.
That's a crazy take.
That's a crazy take.
I'm talking like, like tired is different, but like sick, you're sick.
I'm talking like sniffles.
I'm talking like, oh, maybe your throat hurts in this second,
but let's just get through this and maybe we don't need to go,
like we don't need three days off.
So you're not saying that sick is a mindset.
You're saying when you're in that tweener stage, that little gray area.
But that's it.
That's a mindset.
Correct.
Not like, oh, yeah, if you're sick, if you're thrown up, like, sick's sick.
Like, they're sick.
But I'm saying like the change of temperature, season, sniffles, like, no, we got to just,
it's a mindset.
It's going to be okay.
We're just going to power through this right now.
And energy, you're doing it.
We're both showing it right now.
So you're here on the ones and twos, lighten it up.
I haven't been to the doctor in 11 years.
Six is a mindset.
We are buzzing over here.
We are absolutely buzzing.
We got to end.
I'm not buzzing anymore.
Your ass has to get to the doctor.
It's insane.
I'm on some of these shows talking about preventive care and you got to be proactive.
You got to go get your stuff before it comes up.
Like you got to check it.
Go get your fucking go to a doctor, get some blood work, which we know is going to be good.
Go to the fucking dog.
You can't not go to the doctor in 11 years.
Like every good relationship, there's me and yang there.
If I was the same as you when you were.
were the same of me. What what the hell would we talk about on this podcast? So yeah, no, I said to you, I was
going to do that. I'm going to do that before the season starts. I got a month to do that. I'm going to do that. We're
going to do it. You are tired, but you're here. Now, podcasting, probably a little more draining the people
think. But, but, but, but I got to think in your world and sometimes I get this one, I'm, I get off the ice or
after a game. As exhausting as the thing you're doing is, it's, oh my God, I open my phone. Now I got to
find brain space and energy for all of these emails and phone calls and text messages that I'm
probably just got buried in because I was sitting in front of a camera without my phone for
five hours.
Do you is that what's more tiring, the actual podcasting act for you or the catch up while
you're, while you're having to be present in these media, media things?
It's a good question that you pose and I'm going to answer, but it's also a good question
for everyone to think about like you look at your iPhone, which by the way, what the fuck
he's going on with iPhone batteries.
Oh, I mean, I haven't updated
my phone. I still have iOS 12,
so as you know.
That's crazy.
Does your battery work or no?
Dude, nothing works.
Like, barely. My camera stopped working.
I have to go to Snapchat just to take a picture
and save it on my camera roll
because my camera when I open it, glitches
like crazy. As you know,
I can't even go in our Treating Secrets Weekly
podcast meetings on Google Meet anymore. I have to
dial in because I have to update my app and the app needs to be iOS 18 and I just don't have
it in me and I'm not a change guy. We all know I'm not a change guy. So I'm just I'm just trying it out.
I mean, I just do it. It does it overnight, David. But then I got to adjust. I got to figure out
the new widgets and I got to figure out what this looks like and I got to deal with it. I'm just not,
I'm like a I am just not a change guy. You found out the hard way by knowing that your name in my phone
is still Jason with a Y,
J-A-Y-S-O-N,
because we know when someone goes
in the phone, they don't switch.
No change guy.
I'm looking at my software updates,
and I am an update coming soon,
Spotlight Index to prepare for iOS 27.
Yeah, no.
On iOS 12.
I think I'm on 50.
You can't even use Google, Google Meets
because of your phone.
Update it, you dumbass.
No, I guarantee if I should,
showed the people my phone and like how it's still laid out. People would have like
FOMO and miss the like simple clear layout of iOS whatever.
Let's see it. Bring it to the camera right now. We can make this a clip right here.
I don't know like text at the bottom. You get the old school font still like you're not logged
in. Open up real quick. I got to see this. I got the black mode on there.
Wait, wait, wait. That's not your home screen there. Yeah.
Yeah. Your home screen. David. David.
What's the difference?
Oh, I don't know.
I've heard out there every time there's something a little different.
I also think if I get the update, I'm going to blow up.
All right.
Next week, I really need you to get the update.
Now, let's get back to business here.
The doctor is easier than the update for me.
That's just absolutely insane.
So you're saying you haven't been to a doctor in 11 years,
and your iOS right now is at 15 when the newest version of iOS is 27,
and you're saying it to be easier for you to go to the doctor
than is to update your phone.
I just hate updating my phone.
It's like one of the worst days of the year.
I know, I guarantee you there's going to be people listening to this.
And guys, don't make me in girls out there.
Don't make me look like an idiot.
Please, I need a poll or something, Jason, on this.
Is there anyone out there who avoids updating their phone like the plague?
I cannot be alone in this.
Please, millennials, I'm counting on you especially.
Have my back in this one, one time.
iOS 15 was released to the public, September 20th, 2021.
We're talking five years ago you haven't updated this thing.
I haven't updated since I got my phone, which was in 2021.
I remember the exact moment I had to get my phone.
Unbelievable.
Well, back to business.
I would say to everyone, look at your iOS 27 battery and think about what actually drains your battery.
Then look at that, your personal life, what drains your battery?
I will say, I love podcasting.
I really enjoyed it.
I learned a lot.
It's a beat the coolest people.
It is a big battery drainer.
Look at the odd, perfect timing.
You're a battery drainer.
It's a battery draper because there's a lot of work that goes into it.
And then you're sitting, you know, live with the person one-on-one.
And there's a lot of energy in reading the person, seeing how they're moving.
Are they comfortable with the conversation?
Are they ready to go deeper?
Do they talk too fast?
Do you have to cut them off?
Where am I going to take the conversation next?
It's like thinking like that, full speed for an hour and 10 minutes.
And then after it, you still have all the things from the day.
that keep piling. So it takes and consumes a lot of energy. But what's nice about our podcast is we have
one guest a week. So if we can knock out 10 podcasts this week, that's 10 weeks of podcasting. That's huge.
So I will say it just takes a lot of you. Live TV takes a lot out of you because you could be on a segment,
even like Catherine was on GMA this past week. It could be three to five minutes, but you prepare five. Oh, my,
Jason. Oh, look at this guy right here. I mean, you can run, but you can't hide. Yeah, you prepare five hours.
plus for a segment that's three to five minutes when you're a guest.
So it's a light.
Just try and pass this coffee right through the screen to you there.
That could be a good little real right there, a little transition.
But also those rooms in a podcast room, anytime I've podcast with you in a room or been
like in a live TV setting that you're on, those, it's a million degrees.
Not only the lights just cooking on you.
Like that itself drains you too.
Like you get out of there beat down.
I got a, I had a podcast with Scott Clary.
I went direct from John and Alex's place in Long Island Monday morning.
So took the train in left and probably got caught the train at like 745ish, got into Grand Central around 9, went right to the studio.
This little studio was the size of a closet, but had the lights on and everything.
And there was no AC.
And I was in the hot seat for about an hour, 30 minutes, hour 45, just answering very like technical business things, philosophy things.
And then we did a podcast switch.
So then I had him on for an hour.
you'll enjoy that episode. It's very fascinating. But yeah, like three hours in the hot box closet
talking about like, you know, technical things education. That drains you. And then it's like,
okay, now you got to go start the rest of your day and do a bunch of stuff. And we there's so much,
I'm not complaining. It's just informational or I guess pulling the curtain back. There's so much
at the agency right now happening that I unfortunately can't talk about. Really, really exciting
stuff. People that were meeting with people who are in the process signing with like there's so much
happening. Maybe at some point I would be able to share, but anyway, it's just like right now
it's full steam ahead. Every day is like a 12, 14 hour day. But it's, it's fun, man. It's fun. It's
good time to be in the game. But let's go to this. Let's go to Chase the Moore. Yeah.
An electric guest. Yeah. I mean, I mean, this dude is a absolute monster. 16 plus reality
shows transition into pro boxing, 300,000 in his first match for three rounds.
now stating that his equity as a boxers, you know, he's saying 70, 80 times, whatever, that number.
I mean, we're talking tens of millions of dollars as a pro boxer.
Would you take away from the episode?
I mean, a lot.
I took away a ton from this episode.
Chase has been someone that's been on my TV a lot in my too hot to handle days.
He definitely was someone who came on and kind of like him and Harry Jousy in the first few seasons.
Like, they made that show what it is.
And Chase, you know, Chase was a villain, and I don't think that I was a massive fan of his because he is a little, like he said, he's a little outspoken.
He's a little cocky.
I love the line that he uses like, I've said it a million times.
You're just hearing her for the first.
So people think that it's like rehearser.
He's preparing him by that just who he is.
But he's backed it up.
He's found a great niche.
And again, why I love this podcast is you have someone who you may think doesn't know what the hell is going on and they're just living decision by decision day by day.
he's got a plan and not it doesn't have a plan like he's got a lot of characteristics
and things that he's taken from his life to help get him to this place.
I loved when he talked about his hustler mindset working at Starbucks studying at night
and grinding during the day and like if he didn't have that, he wouldn't have the hustler mindset
that he is now.
So I have tons of takeaways and most importantly like a guy that was so open, ready to talk
numbers and business for transparency and for part of his story.
I thought he was a great, great guest for the premise of our podcast.
I mean, just open as a book.
Oh, you know, that's the best guy to have on the podcast because he's so willing to talk about it with the understanding that the conversation about it is going to materialize into information and education where so many people come in with their publicists and all this stuff.
And it's like they're just, it's tough to really crack that code to really have those deep conversations.
So it was amazing.
I think thinking about where he came from, like from from ground up to where he is today.
I mean, it's truly remarkable.
Hearing some of those conversations in the boxing realm,
even the psychology of it that also connects to the psychology of how we all interact with one another
and just the ways to take down an opponent and get information,
to me that was pretty fascinating.
And I know I feel like you would find that interesting as well.
Yeah, I mean, it was incredibly interesting.
And just talking about the negotiations of the fight with him saying,
listen, I know I'm going to have to do everything that he wants,
but he's starting to pick up crumbs.
Like, if he wants all these things, is he really that confident?
He started getting a mental edge just off like, listen,
he's coming out of this 10 to 20 million.
I'm coming out of this 300K.
He's not going to train as hard as me because he's getting more of a reward than I am
just by stepping in the ring.
If he wants all these demands, then he's like,
maybe he's not as confident as he's putting off.
I thought that was really, really crazy.
and I, when I was listening, when he said, like,
he doesn't really get nervous except for when the guy comes in the room.
And he goes, hey, you're up next.
And he's like talks about like, like,
like I'm saying it right now, like hair on the back of my neck stand up.
I mean, I'm a huge pussy.
So I couldn't imagine getting a ring to begin with.
But like, I couldn't,
I'll imagine having to back up all this smack talk and like put my reputation on the line
against the guy whose career is in beating people up.
And Andrew Tate's was.
and having a walk through with millions of people watching online and people there.
Dude, that, come on.
Like, no way.
I could never do that.
It takes an unprecedented amount of skill to be able to channel nervous, fearful energy into somehow,
like, that way.
Like, think about, like, your natural, like, as humans, when fear arises,
the natural instinct that we are trained to do is,
is to run, right? It's like fight or flight.
Fight or flight or run.
To be able to like keep your composure when you're stuck into a ring with all these people
watching you to fight someone and like stay also when he talked about the fact that like
composure and keeping calm is part of the secret.
That is like just the respect level to be able to do that is just like I just think about
like when I when you get ready for live TV and it's like one, two, three, the hype.
You're in the green room.
And it's here. Okay, we got to practice here.
ready, okay, rush out there, five, four, three, two, what?
Like, your heart's racing and you're literally just talking.
Like, where I even think about the Bachelorette when you're on the date and like you're
about to go in for a kiss, but all these things, you know, these cameras are watching you.
Right?
You're like freaking out.
I just can't imagine all of that, but like in a ring against a guy who's trained to like
actually kill you.
Crazy.
The only comparison I have is like, and this is just exactly backing up like I'm a pussy.
He's talking about fighting.
I'm talking about golf.
but like on the like first tee jitters on the golf like your name gets announced in the tournament there's people watching like clapping like it's like that's nerve wracking it's like oh shit now it's finally my turn yeah i've hit the driving range yeah i feel good about my swing but like i got to hit the stupid golf ball people watching me then you hit it you're like okay it's just a fucking golf ball let's go play but like i couldn't imagine that feeling so that was really cool um i thought it was really interesting to talk about the contracts like all the different like uh things of the contracts that you said like line items like crazy lines
items I went in there.
And overall, I just thought the breakdown that he gave about like nine minutes in a
boxing ring for 100K based off like, you know, all the 16, 17 different shows that he went
on and what it led to.
Like for him, I thought it was, he looked at this as not just an opportunity, but a time, value,
money opportunity.
And, you know, for all of these other experience going back with the Acorns app and like microinvesting,
I'll call it to like, okay, I did a fight.
I got 100K.
I'm going to reinvest the 30K after all my expenses back into like what is now my boxing career.
I thought it was a pretty good like transition from him showing like, listen, I was never really
super financial literate, but as a hustler, I wanted to take every penny that I could and build more
worth for myself.
And I thought that one thing that sticks out and then I'll kick it to you again to kind of summarize
all this is he talks about going on all these shows, not as the not as the be all end all,
but the step.
And I think that that's in your business and talent agency.
you probably think people go on their one show and they think that they've made it now that they're just
going to live off this for the rest of their life. I just love and clearly he's done it as like a step in
his career. It's the perfect, perfect, perfect analogy. That's all it is. Shows are steps.
And what you do with that step is everything. Do you build a brand? Do you pivot what that show
put light in? Like how can you connect with people in community and what can you do to show your
authentic self? Like that's the name of the game. That is the wild part of this space. And that's what we're
seeing at all different levels.
I mean, we alluded to it
just a little bit last week.
But the
Tom Brady connection
into trying to become
the creator and it also
stems and sparks another conversation of
attention, right?
And this is a big topic of
conversation we have in the Scott Cleary episode
which is coming out soon.
Attention.
There are a lot of people that stand by and
swear by that attention is the end-all be-all now. It's what you do with the attention.
And there's a lot of people that stand by, even if it's negative attention, it's attention
and you can pivot it in a way that is positive for whatever it is that you're trying to do.
This is a real topic of conversation, right? And I think we saw it with Tom Brady. And a lot of
people are just saying, like, Tom, you are the greatest there ever was. You are potentially the
greatest there ever will be. And with that comes of responsibility. And we,
with that responsibility comes a level that you need to hold yourself to.
And a lot of critics were saying how cringe he was for the behavior he was of trying
to get in the game and create attention and have these arguments and do these things.
And, you know, Scott Clary, I'll just tease for this episode when it comes out.
He has an unbelievable take on this.
I'll tease it for that.
But it brings it back to this discussion, which is like the show is the place where you get
the attention than what is it you do with the attention, you know? And I will say,
kind of like live TV or any of that, easier said than done, right? It's a lot easier to say,
I'm going to go on the show to get the attention. I'll figure out how to pivot it because with that
comes a lot of weight, you know. So I don't know. There's just a, just a interesting conversation.
One that I think that I don't care how old you are listening to this or how young you are
listening to it. It's just a conversation that's going to remain as a part of.
of our culture and a part of our dynamic.
And no matter what side you stand on, the critic of Tom Brady for, you know, doing PR stunts
with content creators or the side that says, hey, he's in the game.
Let them be in the game.
I think no matter what these conversations are going to keep happening.
Well, I think with the Tom Brady example, it's a great point.
It's like this guy was also a football robot for 20 years.
And now he's retired.
And it's like he has the option that maybe step into a world that he's never allowed.
himself to because he was so laser focused on football, football, football,
championship, champion, champions over everything, over family.
And now he's at a point where he gets to go to these events and be a celebrity.
And who are we to tell him not do that, right?
And I think when you have comparison, like he's also the goat in this day and age where
Michael Jordan was the goat in the day and age when he retired where there wasn't such
a social media presence necessarily.
So it's curious to see those two kind of like go.
and how they're dealing with it,
but it's also different times.
But I also look at like you,
and you never went on the show,
The Bachelor to one day own a talent agency
and have a podcast.
Blake never went on The Bachelor to one day be a DJ.
You know, Chase never went on too hot to handle to be a boxer.
But it's led you guys basically in what you're built for in these things.
And you guys are really good at it.
And that's why you have longevity.
And you usually show a step.
So that whole conversation is just allowing you to lead into what's next,
which was a pretty interesting discussion.
And 110K for MTV X is on the beach, right?
I didn't see that one coming.
No.
I feel like we've had a couple people tell us that MTV pays pretty good.
Like we've had some challenge people on.
Like MTV pays pretty damn good when it comes to like actual lump sums.
And didn't, uh, wasn't, didn't Blake and G go on, uh, MTV show?
Was it MTV show?
Yeah.
And it paid really, really well as well?
that's where they met.
Yeah, it was a good one.
Yeah, talk about an investment there.
Wait, we're real quick.
Speaking of reality TV, what's hot right now?
You got Big Brother.
Obviously, Love Island finale's coming, which I know people are excited about, but like,
what are we got right now, Big Brother?
I've heard a lot about Big Brother, and I just feel like we've talked about on the podcast.
Like, should we get someone on?
I just call me crazy Big Brother Survivor.
They've been on long enough.
You're not moving the needle with those shows.
Like our numbers aren't moving the needle if we get someone on.
Those, it's like, I feel like they have such a cool.
loyal fan base.
They're not really trying to change what they do.
Like, they're good for a reason.
Like, I love those shows.
We,
if you go back to season one of our,
of trading secrets,
we've talked about,
that's our dream shows.
Like,
me and you go and big brother together
and like rip it up.
Like,
that would be,
that would be amazing.
I just love Highlands just taken over, man.
And you got a,
you get some breakups happening from season six and season seven.
And then you got the new people on from season eight.
And you got Nicolandria breaking up.
And you got the Kenny going on the podcast with Janay.
There's a lot of,
mess out there and I'm sure the season eight people are like hey oldies can you move out of the way
and stop taking up the headlines like I'm trying I'm trying to make a name for myself so I feel like
that dynamic of love island's kind of interesting right now yeah and the question the one that I
always think about what and guys we talk about and trink secrets all the time we're like what
gas what past castmates from the bachelor franchise should we have on right what is going on
with what is going on with the franchise?
And also, to anyone listening to this right now,
go into Apple, give us five stars, let us know,
who from the franchise should we have on?
We struggle with this.
We want Jojo is one that I know we're talking to.
We're just trying to work out timing,
but I don't know.
It's like, what, what's, I don't know.
It was such a bread and butter for us to be able to have one a month,
it felt like.
And we always know that our highest performing episodes,
having Bachelor alums on.
And it just like, as the show isn't on our screens in any form, Bachelor, Bachelor,
I Bachelor in Paradise, there's just less people, fresh people, which is not even about
the fresh people, but it's just the less Bachelor people are in the forefront.
And we want to bring that back.
We want to bring that back a little bit and go back to our roots a little bit with that
and have some of those people on and see if they're experiencing the same things.
Yeah, we got it.
I just, when I say it, I'm like, I want, I don't know if maybe it's an algorithm.
So all these bachelor people that I follow friends and stuff, like I just don't see enough of like what they're what they're up to and stuff. But we got to do a deep dive of like who's who's doing what in Bachelor nation and how we can connect with them and have them back on the podcast to talk about their businesses and in updates and life updates. So yeah, I mean, we're all from, you know, like the first thing that comes to my mind is grocery store Joe. Obviously we're all praying for him and sending love. But yeah, if you guys have anybody from bachelor.
you want us to bring on the show, let us know. And just a huge question mark, continues to stay
at the top of the forefront of what is next for the Bachelor franchise. It's always good to talk
to reality TV. I do want to transition out of the chase episode, not out of the reality TV
discussion to talk about the Fed right now. Hot in today that the Fed, and this is being recorded
Wednesday, the Fed holds interest rates steady after a cliffhanger meeting. We know that there is a
new Fed chairman, Kevin Warsh, and he is, just think about the Fed guys. We had the former CEO of the
Chicago Fed on. The Fed is like our United States bank. They get to decide what's in the best interest
of the United States. And he said there was a good family fight among central bankers on the
committee. As three Fed officials said that, we should raise interest rates, a quarter point rate
hike. Wow. And the majority were against it. So interest rates stayed the same. Stay with me for
one second, my nine non-finance folks. But right now the stock market took a massive hit once this
news came out. All the stocks plummeted. One to two percent. Why? Well, the stock market is
worried, and maybe you feel this at home, that the inflationary environment that we live in right now,
is too high.
Maybe you feel that when you go to the grocery store,
you get utility bills, you go to a restaurant,
you buy a cocktail.
The prices are too high.
The way you fight inflation is to increase interest rates.
So the market was saying inflation is starting to go.
You better get those interest rates up.
We got to fight this.
And the Fed said, we're not.
We're keeping them steady.
So as a result of that, the stock market went down
because this increases the potential likelihood of a concern slash issue.
David, curious Canadian, does that make sense?
Is there anything in that that doesn't make sense?
No, it does.
I was thinking that if rates continue to go up,
people won't have money to spend
because they're investing too high in all the mortgages and things that they have.
So they're strapped for cash and so they won't reinvest it in the economy,
therefore stocks won't go up.
So your intuition's exactly right.
If the price of interest rate goes up, the cost of money and cost of mortgages, and the cost of capital goes up.
You're exactly right.
Spending cools down.
We all stop a little bit, which creates contraction in the economy.
But because of that, we all spend less.
Like, think about this model.
We all spend less.
So no one's buying those $25 cocktails.
No one's buying that, you know, whatever it is, the $3, $2, $2 avocado, whatever it is.
And so because no one's buying it or it's pulling back, the prices then go down.
Does that make sense?
Yes.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
I see what you're picking up.
I see you're putting down.
So anyway, that's a big financial update that everyone should know.
It doesn't matter if you love finance or know nothing about it.
That's what 30-minute Thursdays are for.
And then a little little wedding planning update meeting with wedding planners now.
So we're still up in the air
Is to the where.
It's so funny.
I was walking out of the street today.
This lady starts me,
Jason, where are we going?
And I met this lady at the airport once.
And she's like, do you remember me?
I'm like, oh my God.
Once you said, I was like, I remember meeting you.
And we talked for a while on the street.
And she's like, I know you're up in the air,
but the answer is Nashville.
Okay.
You're getting married and national.
Everyone wants to go there.
Yeah, she wants to crash.
She's like, yeah, she's telling me that yesterday was with what a
Catherine's best friends.
And she's like, I just pictured in Cabo.
Everyone's got a different perspective.
but that's a little update on that end.
David, I saved it until the end because I know it's something you're very passionate about.
It might not be something that majority of our listeners are interested in,
but we do talk money here.
And LeBron James just signed an $8 million contract with the 76ers.
Talk about attention.
He is definitely creating a tidal wave of attention, whether you love him or hate him.
The deal, the two-year deal worth just $8 million.
David, what do you think?
I also want to put in perspective.
LeBron's first full season
is a member of the Philadelphia
76ers is projected to generate
how much money to the regional
economic activity. Take a shot.
Oh, billion.
$250 to $430 million
in the regional economic activity.
That's just in one full season.
David, what's your take?
I mean, I have so many takes on this. You know me.
You kind of caught me with this at the end.
I can go 30 minutes on a rant here.
Listen, business-wise, smart by the Sixers.
genius by the Sixers, business-wise, good for the city, Philly.
LeBron will take advantage of that because he's going to be commuting by helicopter in New York City,
so he's not even living in the city.
I get it.
He's a smart basketball mind.
He's a great basketball player.
He's not my goat.
That's Michael Jordan for sure for a million different reasons.
It just cements his legacy, I guess.
He's chasing another ring, which is good for him.
He's doing on another super team, his fourth or fifth that he's had so far.
This time, he's going to be fourth option on that team.
If he gets a ring, I think it's maybe worth it.
If it doesn't, I think it's a catastrophic,
not even a catastrophic failure for him and for his legacy,
but I just kind of cement of who he is.
So it's big news in the basketball world.
It's a big news in the sports world.
But it's going to be entertaining, that's for sure,
because there's nothing that gets headlines
and people like sports panels talk
and then, you know, LeBron's championship ring chases
on another super team.
So we're just going to sit here and wait.
I'm going to be interested to watch.
All right.
We'll be watching in another headline.
You guys got to know about this.
Does connect into money.
A man in pales.
He's going vial right now and pales himself on a trekking pole.
So I want you guys to imagine like right in between like right above your rib from your chest to your back on the side.
A pull a trekking pull is all the way through this guy's skin.
Okay.
So imagine this pull through your skin.
He went 10 miles down, Montana's tall as mountain with it still in his body.
And he did this to avoid the helicopter cost of how expensive it would be to actually take the helicopter down.
Crazy world we're living in.
If that's not a health care system issue, I don't know what is.
And on that note, that's pretty much all we got for 30 minute Thursday.
David, you got anything else before we wrap?
No, I think it's just wrap with me,
just continuing me being a huge, a huge whip.
I don't think I could have walked 10 miles with a blister,
let alone a pole and paled in my side.
So kudos to that guy for the willpower.
I'm going to hit you with this really quickly.
Have you seen The Odyssey yet?
Is it on your plans?
Because it's coming off the left, right, and center.
And if you have,
and I think we should maybe make a date to see it, talk about it.
Let's make a date to see it and talk about it.
Everyone's talking about it.
I haven't seen it yet.
but I want to see it.
All right.
Next week, we'll touch base.
We'll touch base on it.
We'll do a little review.
It is a busy, busy week coming up.
I do need to get a little bit of sleep.
