Starting point is 00:00:00 To see the video version of Park After Dark in Ricky's trailer, go to Swearnet.com or download the Trailer Park Boys Swearnet app. Ricky? Yes? He said, go. That's when you... I'm going, I'm going, Grace. Well, you're supposed to be a little bit excited. You're supposed to be so something to... I'm very excited. I'm very excited. I just...
Starting point is 00:00:30 You just said, tell me when to go and I'll do the introduction. I know, but now that we're here... And he said, go, and then you sat there and you didn't fucking do anything. Now that we're here, it's different, isn't it? Wow. We have a very special guest here today. Mr. Soul from Brothers Grimm. Yeah. Also the genius behind these wonderful seeds. Yes. I guess there's no point in me talking about this.
Starting point is 00:01:07 You should probably talk about this. How wonderful are they? Yeah, right? How's it going, Mr. Saul? Doing great, Bubbles. Welcome. Good to see you, man. Welcome to Ricky's trailer.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Welcome to Sunnyvale. So pleased to be here. Very honored to be at the table with you gentlemen and discussing these seeds that I'm super proud of. And I'm very thankful and grateful to be, you know, collaborating with you guys. And we're very, we're very, and these are the new bubble seeds coming.
Starting point is 00:01:31 That's right. Coming soon. That's the next, we did the Ricky's Hash Plant was our first release. And now we're going to have a Bubbles Blueberry F4 that will be following up. By the time the show airs, I believe we're going to have them for presale. My own seeds, boys.
Starting point is 00:01:47 That's pretty cool, bubs. They're not gonna be available, but they will be available for presale. Okay, so for people that don't know, most of our people are gonna know who we are, but why don't you tell, you know, cause there might be somebody in Sweden watching who doesn't have a clue.
Starting point is 00:02:02 Come on. Yeah, well, you know, I started as a breeder of cannabis while I was in college and graduate school. I was learning to become a nuclear engineer. I did that. Yeah, so I have a master's degree in nuclear engineering. Very similar story. That's pretty insane.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Are my seeds nuclear? But the thing about it was that I just had this desire to understand how things work You know like I wanted to be able to look around me and see why did that move that way and how did that guy build? That and you know how that's the same way my brain works So I wanted to be an engineer, but I also loved smoking cannabis and rock and roll. I'm from the 70s You know, I was a high school graduate in 1977 And so by the time I got out of college, I had a master's degree in nuclear engineering
Starting point is 00:02:48 and I had an offer for a job by day as a nuclear engineer for a company that made nuclear power plants. And then I also had a... Just, you're going too fast. Just hold up. You have a master's degree in nuclear engineering. Yes. So what does that actually mean? Like what... Could you have a master's degree in nuclear engineering. Yes. So what does that actually mean?
Starting point is 00:03:06 Like what? Could you build a fucking reactor? Basically, yeah. So I understand everything that goes into building a nuclear reactor from physics all the way out to the actual building of the machine itself. I do too. And my specialty... Oh, bubs.
Starting point is 00:03:21 I almost... You don't have a degree. I almost built a reactor. Yeah, you'd fucking kill everybody. Sunnyvale probably all of that. I almost built a reactor. Yeah, you'd fucking kill everybody. Sunnyvale probably all the hell with that. Well, I wouldn't flick the switch, but I get the concept. Yeah, yeah, he has concepts of a nuclear reactor, you see.
Starting point is 00:03:35 I don't have plutonium, obviously. Obviously. Some of the things you need from back to the future. Well, you know, that's sort of my past anyway, bringing you up from there. You know, I've had this sort of double life going on ever since I got out of college where I was working for a seed company in Amsterdam for the first three years after I got out of college and doing my first. So by day, I'm at the water cooler with a tie and a shirt and talking to the other engineers. At the nuclear place? Not at a nuclear place. I'm at a place where they're
Starting point is 00:04:08 designing the nuclear plant, not the actual at the plant. That's more like an operator of the nuclear plant. I was a designer of the coolant system specifically so my specialty was like fluid flow and heat transfer. And believe it or not, you know what my master's thesis was on? Bubbly flow. This is all too crazy. Technically it's called two phase flow, but when you have a liquid with bubbles in it, the speed of sound going through that medium is different
Starting point is 00:04:41 than if it were just the gas or just the liquid. And it's very complicated when you have the bubbles in there. You've mentioned that before. So that was my real man. I've mentioned this before. You've mentioned the bubble flow. I've mentioned that bubbles is the reason you guys flow so well together. Ah, come on.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Because of the bubbles. We're talking about nuclear reactors here, man. Not fringe. He's talking about spent rods, right? It doesn't even have to be nuclear reactor. It's just about, you know, bubbles in the liquid and how the speed of sound goes through there differently than it would if it were either a substance alone. Now is that why the spent rods would be stored in the bubbly fluid?
Starting point is 00:05:16 Well, there could be because the heat coming off of the rods would cause bubbles. I know what I'm talking about. You seem to. I know what I'm talking about. My brain is about to explode. He's digging down. I'm very high. I'm very about. My brain is about to explode. It's digging down. I'm very high. I'm very confused.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Bubbles must be a technical. Bubbles high? No, enough. This is because bubbles didn't smoke any of the hash plant. Yes, they do. All right. Speaking of hash plant. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:35 This is, I mean, the first one we created for Ricky. Ricky's hash plant is, it's composed of plants that are heavy indicas from places like Afghanistan, right? Nice. And there's a little bit of a Canadian link there because one of the strains that was brought back from Afghanistan was brought back to Canada by a Canadian and she smuggled it in her sweater, okay? And when it was being sold as weed,
Starting point is 00:06:00 they discovered, oh, this is really good weed. And the guy who was selling it, he was putting it in little cartons that were in the shape of a hockey puck And so they started calling it puck weed. So this has this like Canadian hockey connection So I thought that would be a cool thing plus, you know just made So when you say you made it, so what do you mean made? I'm a breeder So breeders are like, you know say you want to win the Kentucky Derby and you want to buy a horse
Starting point is 00:06:24 That's gonna be able to do that. You don't get it from Joe the farmer who lives down the street who had like this stray horse that came through and got his mare pregnant. You have like carefully chosen horses that have the potential to pass on the genes that would be necessary to. Oh, nobody knows more about horse load than him. So I'm speaking your language. It's like the movie Seed to Seed. Julian was dealing in horse load at one point. Yeah, I got out of it. I don't know enough about it.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Well, anyway, so you have a little canister of this stuff that you grew. Can I just like smell that again? Sure. So to make the seed, you're cross-pollinating different wheat and wheat strains. Yes, essentially it's seed, you're cross-pollinating different wheat strains. Yes. Essentially, it's just, you know, we're all the result of our mother and father coming together and making us, right? So the seeds are the same deal.
Starting point is 00:07:13 You have a mother plant and a father plant and they make the seeds. And you know, the basic understanding in genetics is that like B gets like. That means that if the parents have it it the kids are likely to get it so You try to choose parents that you see something in that you would like to have in that Offspring and so that's how I put these things together And some of the things that are really important to me as a breeder are that it's gonna have a great potency because people want To get high you right you know that I've never been at a table where anybody was buying weed where the potency didn't come into the equation somewhere and it affected the price. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So you always want that really high. So you cross plants and
Starting point is 00:07:53 then you were getting Ricky to test it and give it your notes. And then this is the baby that came out of it. And now these plants, these seeds grow this and this is called Ricky's ash plant. It smells amazing. Now I understand why you're so good at this with all this engineering background. But man, you know your shit. It smells so clean. That's the best smell I've ever smelled. It smells amazing.
Starting point is 00:08:20 I've always tried to break that stereotype where the stoner is somebody who's just rolled off of a log somewhere and not really aware or... Right. You know, so being scientific minded, I also put that into the work that I do that when I'm creating a strain, I'm using principles of reading that are, you know, proven over hundreds of years. So yeah, so when Ricky was giving you notes, how did you understand? Because like, he's not scientific, but he uses words like, make it more red or... Hey, I was kind of joking. I was like, I want, you know, something that's going to make me smarter.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Yeah, yeah. And we've got genius in it. Genius. Yeah. That's why. It actually does make you smarter. No, but I remember when you were on the phone one time. All right. And then those two crossed with G13. Ricky, I remember you sitting here. You were fucked out of your mind when you're giving them notes and you specifically said, I like it, but can you make it more red? What the fuck did that mean? Make my brain more red, you said. Well,
Starting point is 00:09:22 you know, you see those scans and I think the red is good. So how would you when you heard that how did you interpret that you just said oh fuck it I'll just make it stronger? Yeah kind of that's one of the things where you know when in doubt just make it more potent and they're gonna like it. And also yes please it made me think of when you see those old cop shows where they'd have the person being Talking to the artist and he's describing the suspect and it's amazing from this person's yes Yeah, verbal description with this amazing picture comes out. It's kind of like that So I'm listening to him and I'm trying to draw the sketch That's a great I've always been pretty well known
Starting point is 00:10:00 I'm an analogy guy Pretty well known for always having the best weed and now I have the best weed, hands down, thanks to you. Now everybody can have the best weed. I opened this container and it smells like a locker room. Like we just walked into a sweaty locker room. I love it. It's got this hashy, earthy, and it's a strong high.
Starting point is 00:10:21 And everybody can, where do they get this stuff? I guess everybody knows that. Well, you know, my company, Brothers Grim Seeds, so it's just the name dot com, brothersgrimseeds.com. You go there and- Two M's in Grimms. Two M's in Grimms. Grimms.
Starting point is 00:10:35 And it's brothers plural. And seeds. Brothers Grimms. So tell me something. What is the biggest mistake people make when they're growing weed? They don't start with enough seeds, usually. Really? Really? For whatever reason. That's a good point. I always go back to like Jorge Cervantes. He wrote a book called Indoor Marijuana Cultivation and I
Starting point is 00:10:56 read that when I was a senior in college and it changed my life because I realized finally like I always was wondering how does it work you know how do these I've never seen the plant when I ever tried to grow it in the woods near my house or something. I never saw buds get on it, but I see these pictures in high times. What the hell, what are these guys doing?
Starting point is 00:11:11 What do they know that I don't know? In the book, he told that the plant actually can tell how long the day is. So the shorter the day gets, that's what triggers it into flowering. So that just made me lose it. And I was like, wow. And in another part of the book, he said, when you're starting out, it's a numbers game.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Start with like 100 seeds, even if you need 10 really good plants at the end of it, right? Because they're small as shit when you start, right? You know, it's only a seed and a little cup, like the solo cup is a thing. A lot of people start in the solo cup and you can get a 50 of them on a table,
Starting point is 00:11:43 or at least let's say start with 20 or 30 seeds. And then from that group, if you're growing regular seeds, regular means that they come out as males and females and feminized seeds means they're all females. So if you were starting with regular seeds, you'd have to have at least twice as many as you'd want to end up with just because of the seeds. But would you put it in a solo cup or are you dealing with microplastics? No, no, no. No?
Starting point is 00:12:07 I would still look up some. I would just put her in glass just to see. And these are all guaranteed female. That's amazing. Mm-hmm. It makes it so easy because that's always a pain in the ass. You got to fucking grow them and then find out if they're male or female. Now, in ours... You got to put them under the microscope and look for their little tiny wiener.
Starting point is 00:12:24 No, but the science behind making them female seeds is something that I became an expert at because that was where the scientific background came in and I figure, you know, once you've gone through college and you learned one thing, you kind of learned how to learn and so you can learn anything from that point on and I just focused myself on, you know,. And then the feminized seed question is a really interesting one, because when you think about it, the only plants that are important
Starting point is 00:12:50 when you're growing marijuana are the females. And so when you're creating seeds to create another strain or another year's worth of crop to grow, if you have to depend on crossing a good female, which you can see is a good female because she has all these good female properties. You're looking at the male, he doesn't have any female properties because he's not a female, right?
Starting point is 00:13:11 But 50% of the genes going into the offspring is going to come from this guy. And it's like, oh man, who knows how good this guy's going to be, right? Until you see the outcome. And then it's too late. But with breeding two females together to make feminized seeds, you can actually see all the female properties in both parents at the same time before you breed them. And then the outcome is a lot more predictable. That's genius. Did I put that into easily understood words? For me,
Starting point is 00:13:35 I don't know these two problems. A little bit. I know. Oh, I understand. But that's really, that's fucking awesome. No clear. But the key there is that you have to make sure that those females that you're starting with are not hermaphroditic In their in their own nature and like Julian's mother So it's kind of a test 22 because you're trying to like how am I gonna make this female make male flowers to pollinate another female without making it a hermaphrodite? And after studying for a long time and thinking about this real hard, I realized, I looked at research that said, it's not in the chromosomes, it's in
Starting point is 00:14:13 the hormones that determines that. And it makes sense. Cause when you see people who are transitioning or whatever, they take hormones to do that. And so what's happening in hermaphrodite is that it's being stressed by something, either the changes in the light cycle or the soil or whatever is bothering this plant.
Starting point is 00:14:31 The reaction that it has to it is that it hormonally changes and starts throwing off male flowers on a female. Now, if that happens, that's a hermaphrodite. And if it doesn't- We're still talking about weed, right? Oh yeah, we're still talking about weed. Okay. I'll're still talking about weed. Oh, yeah, we're still talking about I'll either be talking about weed or something of my own
Starting point is 00:14:56 Accomplishment or something. No, I'm a bit baked and I thought maybe we transitioned into porn or something. No, no, but no, it's all right Well, I was wondering how the fuck that happened. It never made sense to me Well, once you know that it's the hormones that do it Then you find a plant that doesn't react to the stress in that way, and then you, it's not a hermaphrodite, but then when you hormonally induce it, you can get it to make the male flowers, but it doesn't pass on the gene for hermaphroditism because it wasn't in it, you see.
Starting point is 00:15:16 But you have to test both parents to make sure. Ricky just gets really baked and just starts jamming things together. I feel like I'm in college right now. So I know Ricky does this. I know, I don't want to get too heavy. No, man, this is wicked. What are your feelings on people that,
Starting point is 00:15:29 I heard that there's been studies on people that talk to their plants. The plants grow better when you talk to them. I know he talks to like, he talks, he's always talking. I don't know if it works, but I do talk to them. He sings to them. I play music sometimes. Does that help?
Starting point is 00:15:40 What do you think about that? You know, I'm super scientific and I tend to not believe anything until I've seen some really solid evidence of it. Yeah, I like that. And yet I'm married to Laura who's a very woo-woo, you know, kind of woman who's spiritual and she believes in those kinds of things and she's right and like most almost, let's I'll face all the time. She's always right, right? So there's got to be something to it but I can't put my finger on what that might be so I couldn't try to explain it
Starting point is 00:16:08 I think I could tell you I think I could point in the right direction. I tell us buffs simulation We are in a simulation boys, I'm telling you we're holograms. We're not gonna go down that hole. No, are we good? I don't know man. Well, yeah, I mean you could ask them go down that hole. No. Are we good? I don't know, man. Well, I mean, you could ask them. Go ahead. That matrix thing got everyone thinking about that very subject of, are we in a simulation? Well, no, just now that the new quantum computing thing, you know, that's just, boop, I think
Starting point is 00:16:39 that proves it. There is a theory by a really rational scientist who says that there is a greater chance that we are living in a simulation than there is a chance that we're not. Exactly. Right? That's what you said. Take that for what it's worth. The new quantum chip that they built. That's scary. Right? Yeah. There's a million qubits on the one chip. Okay? If you took every molecule in the universe and made it into a computer, it still couldn't do what this thing does. So the guy is his theory is that that proves that we have multiverses because this chip couldn't do it in our own thing. It has to be accessing multiple.
Starting point is 00:17:20 For enough parallel processing. Yes. To happen at the same time. See? Well, yeah. It's possible! That's all I'm saying. I'm going to have to think about this when I'm not... No! You want to think about it when you're sure.
Starting point is 00:17:32 Well, I'm trying but it freaks me out. Go the other direction. Smoke more. That's probably it. There should be like a Nobel weed prize and you should probably win it this year. Why don't you start it, Ricky? If you take it. I only met one other guy that's in your league.
Starting point is 00:17:48 He's the guy that invented purple Kush. Maybe you know him, do you? You've probably crossed paths. That's the important part. Oh, is it? Kush is just the place of origin. So what's the purple part mean? What's the purple?
Starting point is 00:18:03 Usually it's because the flowers on the plant will actually turn purple as the buds mature. Yep. And you know, you're you're the strain that we created for you Bubbles this blueberry. Yes, I'm very excited about it. As a purple, purple bud. Nice. Yeah, you're my purple bud. Thanks buddy. It has a little blueberry flavor. Oh, totally. Nice. I're my purple bud. Thanks buddy. It has a little blueberry flavor. Oh, totally.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Nice. I love the blueberry stuff. So, okay, so tell me. It comes from a long line of very respected blueberry plants and by DJ Short was the original breeder of that and brought it to an F3. We took the F3 and brought it to an F4. What does that mean, F4? Well, that is a, it's a terminology
Starting point is 00:18:48 that means filial generation. And it means like when you cross two plants, their offspring are the F1 generation. And now if you have a batch of those seeds from the F1 generation and you grow them and cross any two of them together, you're creating an F2 generation and so on. So each generation of whatever F number creates F plus one, F number plus one in the next generation. So an F3, you know, is the result of two F2s
Starting point is 00:19:21 being brought together and an F4 is two F3s being brought together. And so we found a really unique. F4. Right, F4 is usually the generation that people will point to as the most stable and most reliable to give you like uniform plants that they're all gonna look and perform the same. Nice. Very consistent.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Which is one of the things that Brothers Grimm has been like famous for from our start. So it's lineage lineage, its lineage is DJ Short Blueberry F3 times DJ Short Blueberry F3. Exactly, that generation crossed together. And the selection of each of the two parents is the important part. That's where the breeder comes in and says, okay, out of all of these that I have to choose from which two are going to create the best outcome. And that's where I chose the one parent for its structure and the other one for its potency and resin production.
Starting point is 00:20:12 And so the outcome from that will put those two things together. And as I said earlier, with two females to choose from as the parents, the outcome is a lot more predictable. Oh, I can't wait to try this smoke. Boy, that's decent. This last plant's been talking a while. This is decent. This is going to be good to
Starting point is 00:20:26 little different experience with each type of smoke. You know, this one is more. Boys, I'm excited. I can't wait for you to to to make some hash out of this. Oh, yeah. That's so this this one's a little more energy. A little more. Yeah, a little bit more of an energy daytime high. Nice.
Starting point is 00:20:42 I think it's for coming home from work and saying it's Miller time. I'm done. I am done. I'm in the sofa. Or Labatt's. Whatever you, what do you all drink up here? Labatt's. Yeah, whatever. Coldstream. We drink coldstream. Coldstream. I used to get Mollson Red when I was in college, you know, they'd go to a bar and when they'd have Mollson Red. I forgot about Mollson Red. Yeah. Nice little sweet. I used to drink Schooner. Remember I used to drink Schooner? Schooner, have you ever tried that? Tenpenny?
Starting point is 00:21:08 Tenpenny. That was a dirty fucking... That was fucking delicious. But we drink Coldstream. There's a company just down here, not far. And they make our drinks and they make beer, they make everything. Coldstream clear, baby. So the local stuff's always the best.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Yes. Are these seeds, like, can you buy these online, obviously, right? All over the world, do you have, like, shops all over the world selling these? Yes, indeed, yeah. How many stores do you think? We have an international distributor
Starting point is 00:21:38 who is basically has his presence online, and that's Seedsmen.com. Yeah. And so they reach out to the entire world, the international. Wow. Decent. And then we have you know other retailers as many as 100. Aren't you supposed to know all this? That have their brick-and-mortar sites at like grow shops and so on. We've always thought it was strange that a grow shop you know you walk in and you buy your soil, you buy your pots and your fertilizer, all this, they can supply you with everything to create the environment to
Starting point is 00:22:08 grow a plant. But how about a seed? What are we going to start with? Right? So we said to them, like, you should be carrying our seeds on your in your shop, you're selling everything, but that seems like an old man. And it's the most important thing that you can put in to your growing operation. Because if you think about it, right, you can create this environment that a plant can thrive in. The outcome of that is gonna depend Yes. Principally on what you put in it. Like if you used carrot seeds, the weed would suck.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Yeah. That's right. Yeah, it would suck. There's no sense in having all the fancy equipment if you're not putting the fact in. You start with good genetics and you're guaranteed then at the end you're... That's like having all the nicest music equipment but you don't have any fucking strings on your guitar so what are you gonna do? Sit there like a dead tree? And it takes four months to grow from a seed to the finished product to find out what you have.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I think starting with good genetics is an inexpensive guarantee of success where a lot of people will say, well, you know, I'm not that good at growing. So I figured I'd just use these seeds from this bag I bought, you know, from my neighbors. I'm like, don't do that to yourself. It's all wrapped up in a piece of tin foil. This makes it so much easier. You know, there's no gambling. There's no rolling the dice of what you're gonna get.
Starting point is 00:23:25 How good it's gonna be. If you went online and you went to brothersgrimseeds.com and you looked at the prices, you'd be like, that's all, okay, great. Awesome. Make it affordable. Yeah, earlier you were asking me the big mistake people make
Starting point is 00:23:37 is they don't start with enough seeds. They're not that expensive. And like it's the most important thing that you're gonna put into the whole growing operation. That's right. And for the cost of maybe a light bulb, you know in the old days We used to buy the light bulbs now with these LED lights. They're like they last forever Yeah, but I'm talking about a hundred bucks or less, you know what I mean for a pack of seeds
Starting point is 00:23:55 You could buy a couple of them, you know and say now I got enough to guarantee that I could pick the best out of all the seedlings that come out of these seeds and don't skimp on the seeds Okay, that's the big That's the biggest problem right there. Hi Seeds get the seeds throw some numbers game. Yeah, get as many lottery tickets and listen boys everybody Quiet if I'm recording next time I'm recording listen to this Oh, yeah, you can gonna use it as a shaker like a maraca. Yeah a maraca. Maybe you should get a few of them I will. You know, so you can hear it, Bubs. Mini maraca. Well, this has been very informative. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:32 Mind-blowing. I appreciate that. So you live out in Colorado now. Yep. And that's home base. How long have you been there? I've been there since 2015 and came there after living in Times Square for four years so it was a huge contrast. Favorite band when you're baked out of your mind? Oh Led Zeppelin is always... Yes! I fucking knew he was gonna say that. Cause I know years back before it was legal and can and stuff we were going to Colorado and it was like Disneyland to us cause we were walking down the main strip there. Four dispensaries. And they were just like crazy.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Throwing wheat, everything at us. So you've never been to Amsterdam, like overseas? Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's even a deep situation. Ricky thought he turned into a swan. He was so hot.
Starting point is 00:25:20 In what order did you do that? Did you go to Colorado first and then in Amsterdam or vice versa? That's a good question. Why we were in... Because I think it's interesting either. We were in Colorado first. Yeah. We've been there a few times. Yeah. We've been to both. We've been back and forth. We've been both places twice. Colorado is one of my favorite places. I love Colorado. Yeah. It's pretty chill. One of our friends from here lives there. Easy going, easy to be. Nate.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Who? Nate McKinnon. Oh, Nate. Nate McKinnon plays for the Colorado Avalanche. He grew up just down here. Somebody on the plane told me that. They're very proud of your boy down there. I guess he's joining your team.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Do you go to NHL games at all? I'm not much of a team sports guy. I don't know why all my life. I've been into individual sports bicycle racing Main sport that I did with some relative success Ricky steel bikes pretty much twice Two or three a week. Oh, yeah, it was crazy in Amsterdam the bikes there. Yeah He wanted to he wanted to like start scooping them out of the canals, right? But it's just too much bikes and there's a lot over a million. They steal them and then they ditch them There's over a million bicycles in the canals million that's the
Starting point is 00:26:35 Statistic and they're constantly scooping mudder there. I might have that wrong, but I think that's what they said when we were there It's a lot of bikes out of there. They probably go through the canals every once in a while and drag them out. Yeah. Just to, you know, keep the water flow from getting blocked. Yeah. That would be a good job for me. I was there with the shipwreckers with Randy. I know. So jealous, you pricks.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Well, Randy... You're not supposed to go to Amsterdam without me. Well, you could have came, Ricky. You would be in deck weed. If you ever need a guide, I'd love to show you boys around over there You know, I lived in Belgium for four years I used to take the train up to Amsterdam all the time to get my supplies and bring them home And the next time we're going home, can you grab me that can right there, buddy?
Starting point is 00:27:17 Absolutely. What was that cafe we shot the podcast? Oh, yeah Dum... Dum... Dumprin? Dumprin? Dum... Dumprin Shut the podcast. Oh, yeah. Don't don't don't bring Dumper. Don't don't. That was a damn damn damn. Yes.
Starting point is 00:27:31 They had a cat running around. Oh, they had kiddies in there. Yeah. It is in there. That's maybe no, not quite. One of the highest days of my life. Yeah. Oh, that was the highest I think I've ever been.
Starting point is 00:27:44 After that day was Snoop. I was pretty high. Yeah, that was the highest I think I've ever been. That day with Snoop was pretty high. Yeah, that was a high day. Yeah, Doug Benson crippled me. Yeah. But do you remember when we were in Amsterdam, Ricky? You remember you took those, you thought they were mushrooms, but they were truffles and they were like four times as powerful as mushrooms? No. In your legs? Do you remember that? You were sitting there and I said get up, we're leaving and you said my legs already left. You thought your legs were truffles? I remember some really weird out-of-body experience things and I did a space cake which probably wasn't necessary. Yeah. No, but it was the truffle things. Remember you ate those? I don't remember the truffle things, man. Remember you don't remember the truffle things He thought they were sure it happens. He thought they were mushrooms, but they're four times as powerful as mushrooms
Starting point is 00:28:29 They have these shops over there. They call them Smart shop something to that effect that smarts in the name and it's always a hallucinogenic You know like some kind of mushroom or whatever and I bet you grab something out of one of those places It's very possible. Cotton. Yeah. They were called something truffles. I remember. I don't remember those, but I remember you thought there was the little
Starting point is 00:28:51 people living in the mailbox. You were trying to talk to them. Yeah. I do remember something like that. Yeah. But I remember you thought your legs left. They walked off 10 minutes earlier. You said that happens sometimes.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Edibles get tired and they need to go to bed. They're unpredictable. They certainly are. That's what I like about them, I think. It takes a certain person, I want it. Ricky likes to step into the unknown, whereas I don't. I like to have my faculties above me. It's March the 7th already.

Starting point is 00:30:00 Is he gonna legalize or just? Fuck, that's a good question. I mean, he's all about natural or herbal cures. So hopefully he's going to make the seeds legal because he sounds like a silo. Well, yeah, he was talking about ayahuasca using that for treatment and much. Maybe he's going to make our seeds because he sounds like a silo from Balestar Galactica. They're really shaking things up.
Starting point is 00:30:25 I mean, you know, I'm just on the sidelines looking at this situation. But maybe if he's into the, you know, this is all natural. Who's okay?
