Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another episode of the Trash Tastes Podcast.
I'm once again joined by the boys, Joey and Garn.
It does.
Yeah, by the way, producer, the TV is not on.
So we can't check if we are right in what we're about to say.
Because, you know, I want to start off with something that doesn't need to be fact-checked.
Oh, God.
I've had a lot of time to think.
Oh, God.
I've had a lot of time to reflect.
We've been doing trash taste for, what, six years now?
I think seven.
Seven years?
Shut the fuck up.
And, you know, in this time, opinions can change sometimes.
And I feel like there was an early take that I think I want to go back on.
Yeah.
And I feel like, Joey.
I owe you an apology.
Oh, right.
Wow, you saw your rescue.
I thought I was about to get cooked.
What's up?
Because I feel you were cooked, but actually, I think you were actually cooking.
Because you know what?
I do think steak is overrated.
Oh, my God.
My boy.
I had this realization on my last America trip where I just, yeah, we had a steak dinner again.
And if I have one more, if I have one more, if I have one more,
trip to America and it's just another bland slab of steak. Um, that's cooked fine. It's good
fine. But it's just like one big meat of plates. No sauce, no nothing. All we have is the salt and
pepper. I'm like, I can't, I can't do this anymore. It always looks better than it tastes. Yeah.
I swear to God. I think most places, though, just don't do steak good. That is also true.
Which is why I pretty much won't eat steak unless we're at a steak house. Yes.
And even then I've had bad steaks in America.
Yeah, it's like, I don't know, the steak, I think I got caught up in the steak hype.
Right?
I got caught up in the steak hype because for some reason...
Dare I say the stakes were high.
For some reason, this is the only piece of meat that is just like, all right, all we need to do is chuck a little bit of salt and pepper and that's it.
That's it, you know?
I was like, why does steak get that pass?
You know, if you do...
You can't do that shit with chicken.
Yeah, this is what we clowned on the British for.
for ages, you know, you can't, you can't,
they don't know how to use their spices.
Add some flavor into this bitch,
but for some reason, when it comes to steak,
every, like, you go to like the steakhouse.
Yeah, yeah.
It's like white guy sushi.
It's like, don't fuck with it.
The sense says, no.
Yeah, exactly.
And all I want, all I want is just a little bit of sauce, right?
And to be fair, I grew up in Europe,
where they do provide like some sauces.
I do love a good peppercorn sauce
to go to my steak.
Oh, yeah.
But my God, they, when you order it, number one, number one, now in most steakhouses, it's always like an add-on. It's always like...
Yeah, this kind of scam. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's always like, oh, you can choose the sources. It's like a four-pound add-on to have... It is a bit of a rep-off.
And they give you like... Do you want to pay extra or do you want a raw dog this?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. They never give you enough. And they give you like the tiniest little bowl that you can maybe get like, like, you have to like ration out your dips, right? You get like a nice piece and you're like,
Oh, God, this is taken up half of the year of available source.
The worst is when you want to exclusively use the sauce, you know, on the steak, ideally.
Yeah.
But then obviously, sometimes the fries, it tastes pretty good with the sauce too.
But now you've realized four fries in, you're like, oh, no, we're going to have a rationing issue here.
Yeah.
I can't put every fry in the sauce.
I'm going to have to decide which one gets the liquid gold here.
Yeah.
My steak is going to be very dry if I don't use this.
But the fries, I'll probably manage without it.
But I really do like the flavor with the fries with the sauce too.
Sure.
Yeah.
And I found like, I find like even with like some, some of the best steaks I have, right?
Some, like some really, really nice steaks that you take the first few bites and it's like amazing.
You can feel the meat juices or whatever.
But man, out of everything, I'm like, I think the thing I get flavor fatigue the fastest with is steak, actually.
Because you get to the halfway point and you're like.
It does need sides.
Yeah, but then the sides fill you up.
Not me.
To be fair, for the average person.
What happens?
What happened?
I was, I just had this awakening.
Who heard you?
I just had this awakening because I met a, like, I met a friend when I was in America and he just wanted to go to a steakhouse.
And I just had this like, that's the sinking feeling of like, there's so many better options.
And I'm gonna say yes, we'll say yes, but I'm like, man, I wish I was something else, you know, because, you know, because, you know, I'm just, I'm gonna say yes.
because...
I do think most places that are steakhouses are pretty mid.
And I pretty much never order a steak in not a steakhouse as well,
because it's like, why would I pay triple every other item to get an okay dish?
Yeah.
Like, if you're going to give me beef, take me to American barbecue.
There's like so much flavor on display in American barbecue.
They smoke it in the meat.
You've got the sauces as well.
You know, that is peak.
That is peak.
steak, steak, it's, it's...
Steak is fine, it has its place, but yeah, I, as I've been saying for all these years,
I just think it's a little overrated, you know?
So, yeah, I apologize, Jerry.
You know, apology accepted.
Welcome to the good.
I mean, I think growing up is learning when to spot the right food for the right occasion.
That's true.
Like, you're like, steak?
No, don't a steak day every day.
No matter how good steak is.
All right.
Knowing when is the right time for steak.
But to be fair,
We could do a whole episode, by the way.
I think probably talking about the takes
we don't agree with anymore. Yeah. Easily.
Definitely.
When you have a friend visit
from like abroad, like,
let's meet up for dinner.
What's your thought process in like picking
the perfect restaurant for them? Okay, so I
asked them, frame one.
By the way, sorry if I talk weird. I had like these sores
in my mouth. So I fucking hurt
my mouth a lot. Because I'm selling them.
Well, I did that. I'm not like a medieval witch.
just fucking fix it.
Rub that shit in.
Frame one, I ask,
hey, what kind of restaurant
are you hoping for a Japanese restaurant?
It's like number one.
Some people come to Japan
and they really only want to eat Japanese food,
which is fine.
Yeah.
But if you're open to like any kind of culinary
experience, there's more options.
We can do loads.
There's amazing Thai restaurants.
Amazing, you know, Italian.
So that's the first thing I ask them.
And then I'll be,
if they say yes,
the Japanese one, it's like, okay, did you want sushi? Is that what you wanted me to take you to?
Because it's normally what they want me to take them to, in my experience. When someone wants
Japanese food, they want to go to like a nice omikaze or something. Yeah. Um, if not, I'll just
pick whatever I'm craving. Fair enough. If they say like, no, I'll be like, well, uh, Italian
it is. You're going to an Italian restaurant, my friend, and you're going to fucking love every moment
of it. And look, that, they hitch. It hits. I, I just keep going,
down the ladder. So it's like, oh, okay, do you want Japanese? Yes or no? If they say no, then I'm like,
okay, what are you talking Chinese, Italians, say something or other? And then if they pick one,
then I'll give them like an option for like three of them. And they're like pick out of this.
Oh, you give them an option? I give them an option just in case. Yeah, in case they are not like
vibing out or sussing out one that, you know, I'm particularly fine with. Then it's like, all right.
See, by my experience, maybe it's just like my friend group, but I just realize people don't know
what they want.
don't like making choices as well.
Yeah.
That's choosing.
Like, even if you bring it down to a restaurant of two,
that's like a guaranteed way for them to not get to,
to not get them to reply for like two days.
Yeah.
Yeah, but for people like that, you just be like,
all right, fuck, we're going to Nizakaya.
Yeah.
Then everyone's happy.
Yeah.
I guess it's like the vibe.
I'm trying to figure out the vibe.
Yeah.
Because some people do just want the Uzakaya.
Yeah.
And some people will want a culinary experience.
Yeah, like a restaurant experience.
Yeah.
And kind of sussing out what that is.
It's kind of difficult.
Yeah, I always struggle with finding, like, the rights, let's say, like, price point, you know?
Do they want something like cheap and dirty, like street food?
Or do they want something that, you know, maybe?
If they're visiting, I always pay.
Sorry?
If they're visiting, I always pay.
Same.
Yeah.
It's smart as well because the yen is so weak.
So when I go and visit them, I get to cash in.
Hey, you've got to buy me, remember?
Yeah, because it's always harder, especially.
if you're like having dinner with someone the first time.
Because I remember like, yeah, I had dinner with Howlin recently.
The director of Linklick and To BeHRX.
And I was just like, I was, I was low-key, like, pretty nervous
because I'd obviously like met him before.
And, you know, I, you know, we'd done a shoot together and I wasn't sure what the vibe is.
And when you're not sure what the vibe is,
I always like to go maybe a little bit higher, you know, just in case.
Because especially if it's like half friendship, half business, you can never really tell.
And I remember I invited Geary to like help me translate.
And she was like, shit, I'm a little bit low key.
I'm going to be real.
I'm a little bit nervous.
What should I wear?
And I'm like, it's just the classic smart casual, isn't it?
Can't go wrong?
Can't go wrong with the smart casual.
Yeah.
And I actually booked a Thai restaurant.
And it was not not.
like a local tire restaurant board, but something that was a little bit, not super, super, super
formal, but, uh, on the higher. Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely in mid range, mid, mid to high,
iron range. Uh, and then, you know, you kind of realize straight away, it's just like, oh,
I got the vibe wrong. I remember I showed up and I was like, you know, smart casual, had jeans on,
but had a nice, nice shirt on, you know, Geary showed up in a dress.
motherfucker showed up in like basketball shirts and like a tank top and I was like
I was like okay I understand your vibe next time we meet now
I assume that people automatically think this were YouTubers that were like more casual
automatically unless I say otherwise yeah which tends to be the case yeah I think normally
for me the biggest question is like hey you're looking to drink like that's like the big
determiner sure yeah it's like okay if you're looking to drink
It completely changes the vibe of the evening,
so I need to steer us in another direction.
Yeah.
If not, we'll go to Chuckie cheese or some fucking bollocks.
I don't know.
I won't show up.
I'll see you there.
I can't make it.
Yeah.
I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
It's difficult.
Yeah, but speaking of steak and manly stuff.
Okay.
Yeah, I don't know why.
I've also started playing Red Dead Redemption 2 as well.
Okay.
That's a leap of a segue.
Yeah.
What does that have to do with steak?
I don't know.
Because you cook a lot of steak and Red Dead Redemption too.
And you're a cowboy.
Yes.
Yes, you are.
Why?
Clearly, everyone knows the GTA6 trailer, just the extended trailer.
Yep.
Got released.
I'm not even a GTA fan.
I haven't watched it.
You haven't watched it?
No.
It's a, it's a GTA trailer.
And did you, did you hear about it?
the lead up for this.
Yeah.
So I knew about all of that.
Yeah.
I like following gaming news.
Yeah.
I don't necessarily care about the game.
Right.
But it was going to be on Netflix.
Yeah.
The trailer.
Wait, what?
So the trailer, the extended trailer for GTA6,
they put a trailer for the trailer on their YouTube account.
And it was going to be airing exclusively on Netflix.
Well, I don't know what they're.
gaming industry has turned into now.
The trailer was going to be on Netflix?
Yes.
Yes.
Well, look, DJ is a big deal.
Holy shit.
Yeah.
But now it's up on YouTube as well.
Six hours.
They've exclusivity for.
Yeah.
Six hours of exclusivity.
And I don't know how much money they paid to have the fucking trailer, like a live
stream trailer on.
Yeah.
That is crazy.
Yeah, but I saw.
Oh, wow.
It's GTA 6.
It is, it is GTA 6.
I mean, it does look good, to be fair.
I got pissed off because I, there's a clip of me talking about.
I was like, yeah, you know, I'm like, whatever, I might play it, might not.
And they were like, Conner's becoming the Joey of gaming.
I was like, don't you dare fucking.
Also, do not attach my name to that shit.
The fuck?
Like, motherfuckers, just because I don't, I don't fucking frothed the fucking gums at the hope of playing a video game.
I'm out of catching fucking strays, dude.
Also, it's just like, I mean, we've talked about GTA before where we've never like, we've never really been.
We're not big GTA heads.
Not really.
We're not really been GTA heads.
You know, I played it a little bit.
I never really fully committed to it.
Yeah.
I also don't want to have to fucking buy a PlayStation 5 pro to play it.
Apparently this is on the PlayStation 5, the footage that we're seeing.
Not pro.
Not pro.
So I don't know what Black Magic rock star have put or if the PlayStation 5 is just going to sound like a jet
engine when it loads up GTA. Yeah. I just like PC gaming a lot. I don't really like
doing a console. I mean, I think I'll probably play it. Mm-hmm. Like,
oh yeah, I'll probably try it out. But I don't know if I'll like fully be like, this is my new thing.
Yeah, because I, I watched this and I was like, I was like, man, Red Dead Red Dead Redemption 2 has
been on my like two playlist for ages. And I got no better games that I want to play right now or that
I'm like really fruffing at the mouth to play.
Fair enough.
At least like not on stream, at least.
So I was just like, fuck it.
Let's try loading it up and booting it up and seeing if I fuck with it.
And I am still making my, I'm 16 hours in now and I think I fuck with it.
It's weird.
I just the Nogicke video where he was like, you, he's like, this game is great if you add a bunch of mods that.
make it more fun.
Okay, so...
There's like a lot of slow aspects to it.
So here's the reason I'm 16 hours in, right?
Because playing the game, playing the first eight hours,
I could tell immediately that the game is just not for me.
There's so much in the game that I can see why people
herald this as like a mask piece of one of their favorite games.
In fact, one of the people that got me to play it was Sydney's brother,
who is his favorite game of all time.
And I was like, you know, I got...
I'm going to be a good brother-in-law.
I'm going to play it, so we have something to connect over.
And what has solely got me through so far is, my God, the writing and characters
are so fucking good, man.
Yeah, that is one thing I always hear about.
It is like some of the peak I've ever experienced in gaming.
I think I've seen from the cuts of the incredible.
Yeah.
I think Arthur Morgan is slowly creeping up to be like my favorite protagonist in all the
video games.
He's just such a good character
And I'm like, I think I'm about
Maybe just over the halfway point of the story
I think I might be further than 16 hours
I haven't checked like the entire play time
But I've hit like chapter four
And I thought there's like I think like six chapters or something
So I you know
Go go by that
I think I'm just over halfway through the story
And it does take time to get going
But it very much does feel like
A very very well written HBO show
Kind of makes me like feel like
I'm watching breaking
bad or something again, where it's like, there are those slow points, but nothing is,
nothing is meaningless, right? Every mission, even if it's like, just very chill, it's just
like, you get to know the characters and you get to know all of the cast members and you get,
you get, like, really attached and you see all the different intricacies between the characters,
and it's like, damn, this is, this is cool. Everyone feels like a fully written character.
No one feels like a video gamey character. You know how, like, there's no, like, video gamey
dialogue in it. You know what I mean? It's like, like, the characters.
are fucking incredible.
But my God,
everything else about the game
is just not for me.
Like, there is, okay,
there is a level of realism
that if this was a different setting,
if Red Dead Redemption 2
was maybe a fantasy setting
or a sci-fi setting,
something that, you know,
more appeals to me,
I would probably be like,
holy shit, I want to explore
every facet of this world.
unfortunately, I don't really have much interest in like the cowboy setting or just a lot of like historical settings.
That's never been something that's like in my interest point.
So.
Dustin from Sacred Symbols here, you know when you're in the middle of a heavy recording session, editing a show or just trying to get real work done on the go and your laptop starts slowing down or burning up in your lap?
It's the worst.
So what does it actually feel like to switch over to a better laptop like the Dell XPS powered by?
Intel Core. For starters, it's built with a premium design that's incredibly thin and light,
so it feels smooth, meaning far less weight on your shoulders when you're packing up for travel.
Then you open it up and the responsive touchscreen makes scrolling, zooming, and swiping feel
completely fast and precise. Everything just flows. Best of all, with its long-lasting battery life,
it feels like non-stop energy. You get a better way to work without being changed to a charger
all day. Build for those who want better. The DellXPS built for you.
Part of the way to like really, the reason why a lot of people enjoy this game is because it is
probably one of the most immersive games you can get, especially in this kind of setting.
I want to say immersive. They definitely make you be immersing it. There is no shortcuts.
You spend half your time on a horse going from point A.
to point B and you can just take in the scenery,
taking the landscape.
And for me, I'm just like, fucking,
just get me to the next point.
And like, when you're picking up items,
like Arthur Morgan, it's like fucking,
it's like piloting an elephant.
Yeah.
It's just to the peak.
I think I, I sure.
It's, it's, it's, it's legit.
That's like too good.
It's like two common.
It's like an SEP.
This is going to sound so petty, but I think I saw gameplay of someone hunting animals.
Yeah.
And it might have been the slowest shit I've ever seen in my life.
Oh, really.
Like him skinning this animal was such a long process.
Yeah.
That I was like, I don't think I can do it.
Yeah.
And they make you sit through that like cutscene every time you skin an animal.
And maybe there's some kind of message to that if I'm willing to kill this virtual animal.
It's transactional, just like my real life.
I should be willing to sit through what I'm doing.
Perhaps there's a message there.
And when you're like,
and usually it's not for me.
And when you're like looting a place,
you're looking for places,
they make you,
it's,
it sounds like a nitpick,
which is 100% is,
but like they make you like physically loot everything.
You got to like physically like slowly open the drawer,
take one item at a time.
Now multiply that by the amount of like enemies you kill
because you can like loot enemies and stuff like that.
The amount of people you fucking murder in this.
This is,
Arthur is doing a goddamn massacre.
There's like 50 corpses on the, on the floor,
and then you got to get,
and then if you want to loot, you go one by one,
and you're like, individually loot.
Yeah, right.
And I'm like, yeah, fuck this.
I don't have time of this.
I think the closest I got,
the closest I got to drop in the game, right,
was you have your horse with you,
which you can whistle to, you know,
whistle close to you.
But he only comes,
realistically,
if he's in a certain vicinity of Arthur.
So I had a mission where I had to basically take a different carriage
and park this carriage in basically the middle of nowhere
because we were like setting up for a train heist.
And then in the cutscene,
he lets the horses on the carriage go.
So me, Mr. Arthur Morgan,
stuck in the middle of the American countryside
with nowhere, like no place to get out,
no, I'm not near any routes or whatever,
call the horse, and I'm like, he's not coming.
I checked the map.
Motherfucker is on like the other side of the map.
And so I was like, surely they've put in a gameplay mechanic
to get me out of this precarious situation
I found myself in.
And I search it up.
And like, there's been threads that are like,
yeah, I mean, just use your legs in it.
And I'm like, wow.
And I dropped the game for a few days
because I'm like, I can't fucking be.
I'm like 10 months.
miles away from the closest piece of civilization right now.
I can't be fucked with this.
Is there no like reset option or anything?
Um.
Or like a persona yourself to the safe point or whatever?
No.
Damn.
No.
You just gotta get immersed.
It's the realism.
But I know that it's like a 10 out of 10 game.
Yeah, I know.
I want to play it.
Yeah.
But I don't know.
Something's stopping me.
Um, like I would say,
everything I've described, you'd fucking hate because...
I think it would be crazy.
I think it would drive me crazy.
Yeah, because like I said, if this was a different setting
and it was a setting that was interesting,
and I'd probably love this part of the game
and being fully immersed in it.
You know, unfortunately, this part, this time period
just doesn't really interest me.
So everything that people love about how immersive,
because you're meant to like take your time with it.
You're not, it's not a game you're meant to rush it
or you're meant to fully immerse yourself and fully like,
almost like role play, because it really does,
give you that opportunity because you can walk around and there's like random mpc you're like
randomly encounter NPCs doing like weird shit and sometimes it's kind of like maybe like free
ren you know it's it's not always about the main quest it's about the side quest sometimes um but
i was just thinking about that i was like why am i okay with something being so slow in like a
better call soul or um in that but then when it comes to gaming yeah i'm a bit more reluctant to
allow that kind of, uh, I think, I think for me, it's because when I'm watching a TV show,
because I love this, does feel like a TV show. When I'm watching the slower moments,
even if there are slower moments, it can still feel like we're building up towards something,
you know, and I feel like the big difference in Red Dead redemption is that, uh, some of the slower
moments is just instead of it being a scripted TV show where every action you do is building up
towards something.
Yeah.
It's more about being, like I said, role playing.
It's being immersed in the world and the characters and being able to fully make
your own decisions and fully explore that world as that character.
Because one of the funnest things to do in Red Dead Redemption is just to antagonize people
and just just...
The original was one of my favorite games.
Oh, really?
I played the original a lot on the X-Rexam.
And the zombie D.L.C. was so sick.
I loved it.
So you would love the original, but you're like, nah, Red Dead 2,000.
It seems like the gameplay changed a lot, though.
Oh, really?
In one, it was kind of like, I mean, there was nothing more fun than shooting your friend's horse.
It's like, you'd be like riding and then your friend would like run and then you fucking pop his horse's head.
Yeah.
And he would fucking fall over.
It was very funny.
Yeah.
It seems like a lot of it has shifted.
There's also multiplayer.
Yeah.
Like competitive multiplayer in the original Red Dead.
I mean, there's online in Red Dead too.
as well.
Like, they'd like capture the flag.
Oh, okay.
It was like really, it would be like a base.
Right.
And there'd be like defenders.
And then you'd all fucking run in on your horses
trying to like get the flag up.
I forgot this was during the call of duty.
It was during the call of duty.
I loved it a lot because it would be like,
I think they had like 12 versus 12.
And you would like raid a fortress.
It was so sick.
And I did all the story too.
And I think I got one.
I think I fully completed it.
And the DLC from what I had got all the game of school.
Right.
But I think it's that kind of intentional slowness that just scare me a little bit.
Yeah.
And that's why I heard like, like I said, in the naked Jake video, I heard that like there are some mods people recommend to kind of like really enhance the experience to shave off maybe some of the horse stuff or setting up tent.
Or I think there's a day and night cycle too.
I mean, there's a day and night cycle in the original game.
Yeah.
But yeah, like, like I said, I'm playing it and I'm really liking it because, yeah, like
said, writing characters fucking peak. Oh my God. I can talk about that for so long. But the
price I have to pay to get this amazing storyline is a lot of the gameplay that I don't really
fuck with. Yeah. I think half of my time has been on a horse just riding, riding from point A
to point B. Just like a real cowboy. Yeah, just like a real cowboy, you know. Yeah.
I don't know. These really polished games, I don't know, I get quite a, I get more excited thinking about a really shit game.
That's like really interesting. Yeah.
Maybe the idea is really solid. Yeah. But obviously it's like an indie dev or whatever. Like these games are really exciting. And I don't know why I get so excited by that idea. But this refined polished diamond, I'm like, man, okay.
Yeah. I mean, like, there's other worlds that I've been completely immersed in. I think one of my favorite experiences in modern games.
is cyberpunk 2077.
I spent so much time in that game
doing exactly everything I complained about
in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Just because I just found that
world so interesting. So I was
just like... Yeah, Cypunk's sick.
Yeah. It's just such a sick world
and has so many cool little
details and so many things you can discover about that
world.
And also the story's peak as well.
Yeah. I wish I didn't play on release.
Yeah, yeah.
Because I don't think I played the same game
you didn't and you streamed it as well right i did stream it you should stream the uh dLC
yeah you tell me i should cyberpunk's back in now people love seeing people play cyberpong
is it really back yeah is it really back joe you gonna play it probably oh what the fuck
probably i do want to yeah but again it's just like kind of adding to the list of games that i'll
eventually get to you know yeah gaming is so weird because you can play like 40 games or one persona
yeah it's like it's not an
I usually choose one person.
But it's not always about the amount of games you play.
No, no, I agree.
But like, I've had two-hour gaming experiences that were like as fulfilling as 40-hour games.
I do as I have as well.
So it's like, when I think longer game, I think you need to make it worth it.
It needs to be a good game.
Well, yeah, obviously.
Yeah.
For, you know, like, I like better than a two-hour game.
The two-hour game, if it's bad, it's bad.
Totally.
You know?
But it's...
No one's debating against that.
True.
I feel like I'm debating.
You guys agree?
Yeah, we all agree.
Yeah.
It's like, yeah.
But damn,
there's nothing like quite hits that feeling
of when you discover that 40-hour game
and you're like...
It's hard.
That's the next two weeks of your life
just revolve around that game.
Yeah, yeah.
That's like Eldon Ring, right?
You boot it up and you're like,
this is so sick that I'm only 10% of the way through.
I'm so fucking excited.
Because sometimes I play those like amazing eight-hour experiences.
I'm like, that was cool.
But,
like you play it and you're like you just move on to the next thing.
That's true.
I love, you know, what the feeling I chase is just like waking up and you're like, all right,
got to do a, I want to play.
I feel like that's going to be me with the new Fire Enblem.
Oh, I can't wait for the new Fire Emble.
If you eventually actually get into Eldon Ring, it's like the amount of shit they've added now.
Yeah.
You've got like, it's like an 80 hour game now.
It's so fucking good.
Yeah, I'm just, I don't know.
I'm just not good at it.
No one's good at it.
I don't know. I just, I just don't have the patience for it anymore.
Yeah, I don't know.
It's like, it's like the same thing, you know, like, as gone with this,
it's like, I understand how people think it's like the best fucking game in the world.
And I totally get why it gets its flowers, but it's just not for me.
Same with this game as well.
Yeah.
Now that I've done tons of, like, gaming content, I've started attracting insufferable people.
Don't like all the backseaters?
People who really want me to play X game.
And if I don't play X game and I give them a reason why, they're like mad as shit.
Like, or if I don't, or if I'm not hyped for something.
Like, yeah, like, GTA, when I was like, I don't really care.
Oh, they were like, wow, what a contrarian.
It's like, I just don't care.
Like, I don't know what you want me to do.
Like, I'm not, I'm not, what's contrarian about that?
I, I, what is it, what is they called them?
Gun and ball gamers.
Gun and ball and ball and gun gamers.
Yeah, yeah.
Just talking about people would play FIFA and.
Oh.
Like NBA 2K and shit.
Like, you know, it's like, yeah, bro, if I, if I experienced three games a year,
but I think I would be hyped about it.
I just don't care.
Well, to be fair.
To be fair.
When's the last time we played a AAA game?
A mainstream AAA game.
Like one that came out.
Yeah.
Can you type of Sea Dog Vods?
I don't know, actually.
It was quite a while.
I'm like, okay.
I don't sound like GTA, but surely there's.
It might have been Exhibition 33, you know.
You know, and that, that was such a horrible experience, like chat-wise.
Yeah.
Because everyone, when a new game is out, everyone wants to fucking backseat like crazy.
Yeah.
It's actually miserable.
I feel like, top of my head, the only thing I can think you've ever played is Eldon Ring and...
Elden Ring.
Yeah.
Eldon Ring and...
Starved.
Yeah.
At least like this year, I haven't really played.
I sub-Nautica, too.
I played for two hours.
Okay.
These are some weird ass fucking games.
I won't lie to you.
Yeah.
I guess pragmata.
Yeah.
And I'll be honest, the more
the more I get away from that pragmatto stream,
like at the time I liked it,
but the more I think about it,
the more I'm like, it was okay.
It was an okay game.
Yeah.
Slate the Spire?
No, that's a AAA.
That's not a AAA game.
Yeah, I guess this year I haven't really,
well, we're an evil Requiem.
Oh, that's true.
Yeah.
Okay.
That was awesome, though.
That was, that was good.
just, I don't know what it was. Exposition 33
was, maybe the most worst
vibes of a game I've ever streamed. Really?
I really liked it. Because I was streaming
at the week he came out.
We're streaming at the same time.
No, we weren't. Yes, we were.
Yeah, remember that time when we were stuck on the same boss
and chat was like, oh, yeah, we were. My chat was fucking
trying to, they were like doing the thing where like every
plot point, they were like, guys, guys, guys, guys,
you know what I mean? You're like,
It's like, man, just let me fucking experience.
Yeah.
It's like, can you shut up?
And then like, if I'm playing like, you know, sometimes when you're in a game, you're not using like an optimal build, you're like, hey, I'm just trying to like do it the way I want to do it.
Yeah.
And I get it that it's not working all the time and it's not always the best way.
Yeah.
But it's like, I just want to do it.
Yeah.
People are like, but actually, this is really inefficient.
You should, and you're like, stop.
Stop.
And it's like, let me just have fun.
I know. That didn't bother me too much.
I don't know why that doesn't bother me.
Maybe it bothers me because I don't know.
I've streamed these weird games more.
I don't know.
Because I remember the peak time I got that experience was when I was stuck on
millennia for like 60 hours.
Yeah.
Everyone has their ideas.
And I think it was like the first two, three hours where people were like,
you got to change your build.
You got to do this.
And it was like, everyone was like had their own opinion.
And I was like, nah, guys, I'm doing parry.
And then I think I think I,
I think I hit around the six hour mark
and then everyone was like, okay, now he's got to do parry now.
It's like some people just don't get your stubbornness sometimes.
So you're like, no, no, no, no.
I am going to be here for five hours
and you are going to have to deal with it or leave.
He's like, all right, Ben, he's about to commit.
Yeah, I commit, I put my chat through Stockholm syndrome
because they were like, actually, I kind of fuck with the parry now.
Actually, parigoted?
Yeah.
I love that, though.
Like, that shit is fun.
Like, being like, no, no, no, I'm going to bash my head against the wall now.
you will enjoy it.
That's like my favorite part.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I think I got like pissed off.
So I,
but I,
that's not like why I'm not playing newer games.
It's just,
I never,
I rarely see newer games and get immediately excited.
Yeah.
Or I get like,
burn in the sense that there are a lot of games where yes,
playing on release is hype,
but also the game is like,
like five patches away from being in a great place where it's like actually
decent.
Yeah.
Um, like there's a, a game that came out, uh, it's like X-com, but Star Wars.
Okay.
You got interested.
Yeah, I really want to play it.
But the, it's kind of in like a really unstable day one patch.
It's like, I should just wait two months to fix a bunch of the issues.
Yeah.
Or three months or, but I think they furloughed everyone.
But I mean, you know what I mean?
Like there's often, often is better to wait any way to get a better experience playing a game,
which does suck.
because this is a uniquely modern problem.
You know, it didn't used to be that way.
But, you know, here's what it is.
Well, like Hades, too, I did stream it,
and I finally beat it, but I did play it on early access.
That's another thing as well.
It's like, you play a game early access,
and when I played it in early access,
like it was really bad bones.
Yeah.
And I kind of didn't want to go back to it.
But then I spoke to someone else who was like,
actually, you should really return to it.
It's really amazing.
You'd love it.
And then I went back and played it all over again.
But definitely I was like kind of didn't enjoy playing it in early access because I was like, why am I playing a game to get a feeling of what it might feel like when it's done?
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah.
So I kind of went fully off a lot of early access games.
But then some games never fucking leave early access, like straight up.
Like I think Valheim took like eight years.
So there's some games that they're just releasing in early access and they have no intention of ever leaving it.
So it's kind of a shit time as a gamer to know when to jump into a game.
to get the best experience playing it.
Because I only will play games once.
I really never revisit games.
It's very rare.
Yeah, that's why I don't play early access either.
That's why I haven't played sub-nautical two,
even though I, like, the first game is like one of my favorite games of all time.
Yeah, so I played this two hours, right?
And people were like, why aren't you playing more?
And it's like, well, it's like 20% done.
Like, I'm happy that it's great and that it looks promising.
Yeah.
But I will just wait until 1.0.
Yeah.
Like when they have added the end.
Yeah. I want a complete experience.
Yeah, exactly, right?
And I think sometimes excitement and demand for coverage outweighs a lot of people's ability to just let it cook, you know?
And it's boring to be that guy to be like, I'm going to wait.
But, you know, ultimately I want to do a game justice.
Yeah.
Sometimes I play a game.
I played a game called Look Outside.
It was a really cool game.
And I played it.
And like two days after I played it, they released a massive patch where they like added a bunch of content.
I was like, bro.
Bro.
And there's such a good game too.
And I wish I had waited because I don't really want to replay the whole game again.
It's an amazing game though.
Really amazing Lovecraftian horror.
Oh, this is cool.
Oh, it's so good.
This is me in Persona 5 Royale.
Oh, yeah.
You finished persona 5?
I finished persona 5 and I've tried to start a lot.
Royale. Yeah, this looks cool. Like three times now. And the furthest I've gotten is, um, I think the third
dungeon. Because I'm just like, man, I got, I got to grind through like 60 hours again just to get
to the new content. Yeah, because the new, the last two dungeons, the new dungeons are at the end.
Yeah. That's bullshit. There should be a way to like transfer your save. No, but there's small little changes
throughout the actual game show. Yeah. Oh, great. Crumbs. Like fucking crumbs. Well, no,
There's a new character that's very important to the story, actually, that shows of.
So I know.
I've played it.
It is new-ish, but 90% of it was just like, I'm playing the same game again.
I have to play the same game to get to new content.
What's wrong with playing peak again, Burr?
I'm also about to finish this game called Jump King Quest.
Oh, yeah.
More Jump King in 2026.
Okay, okay.
So I just want to talk about this
because it is just the weirdest game ever.
Basically, Jump King, very hard.
They decided that they would make, basically,
Dark Souls 1, but Jump King.
What?
Yeah, it's basically, imagine literally playing Dark Souls 1,
except the only way you can get around
is through Jump King mechanics.
Okay.
It's kind of psychotic.
Okay, so there's enemies you have to, like, dodge and shit?
Yeah, so you have to fight.
And, like, there's boss fights.
I don't know if it shows it in this trailer.
Oh, my God.
That's so...
That's so...
There is genuinely, like,
uh, Dark Souls-esque boss fights like this.
Oh, my God.
And, yeah.
Fuck that shit.
Yeah.
Uh, it's very tough.
Uh, yeah.
And it's, it's a shame because...
I don't think the game did very well.
Um, because it's just too niche.
Yeah.
They made an...
niche game even harder, nicheer.
Yeah, because it's like, Jump King,
you need to be good at Jump King to even consider playing this.
Yeah, and even then you'd say it's...
Even then, it's hard.
It's so hard.
And like, they've got this whole class system.
It looks awesome.
It's co-op.
It's really interesting.
But, again, you have to be good at Jump King
just to even consider playing this hard,
Souls-like game.
Yeah.
The skill floor for this must be insane.
Yeah, and it's crazy because I'm playing it
and I'm like, holy shit, this game is fucking amazing.
But who the fuck is this for?
For you.
I'm the target audience and even I'm like,
this is a bit niche.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm like, this is a bit much.
But it's like genuinely amazing.
Like the amount of work they put into this is kind of shocking,
but I feel bad for the devs because I don't think it's done very well.
It's just impossible to recommend this game to anyone.
Yeah.
There is nobody who wants to torture themselves.
this march.
Well, you have to torture yourself
through jumping first in order to just play
this game. Yeah.
You know?
Yeah, there was like a section I was doing
the other day.
There was like a tower you had to climb
with really precise jumps
whilst two archers
off screen were firing at you.
And you couldn't see where they were.
Is it knockback as well?
Yes.
So if you got hit by the archery arrow,
you get knocked off the platform.
That's so fucked.
Nah.
And in the game,
because the map is like
one giant vertical map
with different branching paths.
There's no quick travel.
You don't die in the game,
you fall more.
So you just fall down more.
Right.
So if you have no health,
you just keep falling fucking down
until you can't get some health.
It's fucked.
With Export Development Canada,
Canadian businesses are competing,
leading, and winning
in more international markets.
Like how agri-food businesses
are strengthening global food supply
and critical minerals
are powering industries of the future.
Their ambition can't be contained.
And with EDC behind them, neither can their growth.
Export Development Canada is the financial partner
for Canadian businesses going global.
Visit EDC.ca for more.
That's crazy.
No thank you.
Yeah.
No, thank you.
Yeah, nah.
Yeah, I did a section the other day as well
that was like, it was a shield riding, jumping section.
Yeah.
Who's Jump King into Shield riding,
into more shield riding.
It's ridiculous.
It's like the most niche,
ridiculous gameplay ever.
And then they poured an insane amount of work into it.
And you're like,
this is just like,
I don't even know what to say.
I want to see a speed run of this.
There's like no,
no play-throughs of anything of this online.
Dude,
fucking get yourself on speedrun.com, bro.
How long has this been out?
It's only been out.
Like a couple months.
26th of May.
I think it,
came out in early access a year ago.
Mm-hmm.
And the 1.0 was in May.
How big was Jump King comparatively?
Because this is like...
I remember Jump King being pretty big.
This is like...
10x Jump King.
Yeah, for a rage game.
Right?
Yeah, the map size maybe like 10 times the size.
Oh my God.
Like, if you Google Jump King Quest map, it doesn't even show up.
There's like no one's...
Like, you can click that.
but oh yeah I mean kind of like does that the very yeah is that even it I don't know
look it really open it does it open fully like doesn't you know I mean like any oh yes all
three pixels we can see yeah there's just no maps mm-hmm I mean dude you want to
get yourself up on speedrun dot com now's your chance yeah I might be top 10 you might be
You got a timer, though.
Yeah, the interactive map, I don't think loads.
I think I tried this.
I don't know, but it's crazy.
It's just bonkers.
That's fucked.
Like, some of these games are like, who?
Who's this for?
Who did you make this for?
But it's like so sick.
What else to have been up to, gum?
Um,
I'm not sure.
I've had to say goodbye to Sydney.
And I'm going to be by myself for...
That sounded ominous to the start.
Yeah, I know.
I know, I have to learn how to function as a solo man for a month.
It's easy, bro.
I haven't done it for like ages.
It's easy?
Yeah.
You're looking forward to your UK trip?
Very excited.
Yeah?
You'll be seeing Chris as well.
Yeah, we're going to do some filming in the UK.
Oh, nice.
He's going to put you in a prison again.
Probably.
He was like talking about going in a cave.
And I was like, hmm, well, say that one for Joey.
Why me?
I don't know.
He never plans, though, but well, he does, but he plans day of.
He plans the day of.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
That's what he always does, though.
Chris, you know, Chris is so good at making his videos look like hours of prep has gone into them.
And sometimes that's true.
Yeah.
But other times, it's sort of this thing on Wikipedia.
Let's go there.
You're like, mm, okay.
Maybe we should call up.
No, no, just go there.
All right.
Okay, sure.
That's like so anti-Japan.
Yeah, yeah
Yeah
Well, the last Waki weekend we
It was really fun though
Went to Wakaama
Nice
Which is a prefecture
I only briefly passed through
I've still never been there
It's one of the few I haven't been to
Oh, it's pretty cool
I know there's Siharaama beach
Right
It's like the best beach in Japan
Is not a Baki character
Jackhammer
No, Shihama
Yeah
Shirahama beach I think is
in Waka
Is it famous?
Yeah.
Oh no, no, never mind since she's all gone.
Oh, wait, no, no.
No, there isn't one in Wakayama.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, apparently it's like the best beach in Japan or something.
Really?
Yeah.
Supposedly.
Well, I flew to the...
Looks pretty good.
Oh, wow.
That's like really nice.
Wow, that looks like Hawaii.
Damn.
We flew to...
There's an airport south of Wakama.
Oh.
Like, it was like one plane a day.
And take care of, but it was cool.
It's nice.
I mean, I really like driving around Japanese countryside.
It's just so chill.
Because it is literally dead.
But I think this is near like the dolphin,
dolphin cove where we went to.
Right.
You know the controversial one?
No.
Well, they used to do the dolphin killing thing.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't know if they still do it.
I've heard about that, yes.
But they're a very, I think it very...
Is that the one of the weather, it was that one documentary?
that covered that code.
Yes.
Okay, okay.
Yes.
But it was pretty well known before.
Yeah.
Like, you know.
And when you read about it, you're like, I still didn't quite understand why they did it.
I tried to figure out why.
They killed dolphins?
Yeah, I was trying to figure out why.
Didn't they eat though?
I wasn't sure.
Because reading this stuff online is so tough because like, it's hard to determine what's actually accurate and who's just making shit up.
And obviously it wasn't documented very well for obvious reasons.
Yeah.
Because if I was killing dolphins,
probably wouldn't want to be trapped.
I would want to be on the list.
Yeah,
I don't think I'll keep,
you know,
yeah.
I just assumed it was because they used to eat them
or use it for some kind of alternative medicine or some shit.
That's usually what it's all about it.
Yeah.
I mean, look,
I'm not here to say who can kill what animal and not.
But don't kill dolphins.
I don't know.
They're kind of dickheads, aren't they?
No, they're cool.
They're cool.
They're smart.
They're intelligent.
Very intelligent.
Yeah.
Yeah, but I do understand the point of like,
why are we okay with killing cows and we draw the line at dolphins?
Because cows are stupid.
I think cows are cute than dolphins.
And they're yummy.
Dolphins are probably not yummy.
We don't know.
I'd never had a dolphin.
What if the people who like dolphin, they're gatekeeping it?
Oh, because it's like that yummy.
It's like super yummy.
Damn.
It's like the-
No, they're smart.
Yeah.
No, they're too smart for you.
Yeah, yeah.
It's like the, what the fucks?
The Galapagos tortoise or whatever it was.
Do we have to give the animals an IQ test
before we like...
Yeah, I also don't subscribe to that notion either of like,
no, they're cool.
They're smart.
We keep them alive because pigs are pretty fucking smart.
I was about to say pigs are smart as hell.
Yeah.
And we have no fucking issue in that.
But they also yumbies.
It really felt like we were just like, you know, we can really domesticate these chickens,
these cows, these pigs.
So we'll say that they're cool.
And everyone was like, all right.
And they were like, all right, what about, all right, dogs?
No.
No.
No.
I was, like, maybe.
They were like, not enough meat to justify it, really.
Yeah, not really.
We just got to get the chickens, really.
Yeah.
chickens and duck.
Yeah.
You know,
ducks are very cute.
Yeah.
But damn,
they taste.
They taste good.
Yeah.
And there are enough of dickheads
that most people agree
their dickheads.
True.
So we can probably eat them.
Yeah.
And then like caterpillars were like,
well,
if I can accidentally step on it,
it's morally okay to kill it.
Is that how that was?
I'm trying to figure out because when you really think about it,
you kind of.
If you can accidentally step on it?
I think like if you,
if it's,
small enough or you can accidentally step on it.
We like have agreed that
that's all right, isn't it?
Except if it's, uh, except if it's in the ocean.
Like, if it's in the ocean, she's a fair game.
Yeah.
For the reason when it's all on the ocean, like, isn't it?
Real chill.
Isn't it?
I'm probably, I'm probably spying misinformation,
but something about like lobsters being closer to like,
like the bugs we eat or something like that.
Then that's probably true.
I mean, because they didn't leave the ocean, right?
Anything on land has gone through more steps of evolution, really.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, roughly speaking.
So what you're saying is that everything in the ocean is fair game.
I think, like, you can eat anything in the ocean.
I mean, so we're sure with dolphins then.
Well, sharks are more protected, I think.
Yeah, that's true.
And tortoises, I guess.
Yeah.
I've eaten tortoises.
Yeah, I guess we do eat tortoises too.
Yeah.
This is really arbitrary.
Look, Connor, you can eat humans if you like, you know.
There's nothing stopping you physically from easy.
Actually, you, you, there is like a lot of sickness you could get from eating.
I've heard from Sydney, and I don't know if this is right, but she went through a cannibal phase.
She went through a cannibal interest phase.
Okay, I worded that wrong.
And she was like, can you, can you Google this?
Does eating human change your brain chemistry?
Because she was telling me this.
Crazy Google.
Maybe not, not your brain chemistry, but I have heard about like diseases.
There's disease.
This is mad cow disease, right?
From cows.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ah.
However, consuming human brain tissue can fundamentally destroy your brain and chemistry
through deadly transmissue through the transmission of deadly infectious proteins called prions.
Yeah.
So it's basically you're giving yourself like brain damage by eating humans.
Yeah, but this is mad cow disease, which obviously was a big problem in the UK in the, what,
was because they were,
they're like, I think,
leftover bits of beef or cow,
they were just grinding and feeding
for the cows.
Oh.
Oh, that's nasty.
That's pretty nasty.
That's fucking, that's like.
So there is some kind of biological,
like, measure built in to
stop cannibalism in some species.
Some species do it.
Yeah, they have no issue.
Like spiders, I think.
Spiders, they eat their own mates.
Yeah.
Bugs, they're like, ah.
That's a...
That's a mammoth issue, actually.
This feels like an issue that is given to animals that live longer.
Like, bugs are like, fuck it, I've got four days.
May I as well eat my cousin.
Just fucked her too.
Why not?
Because you don't stop me.
Well, they're going to arrest me.
I'll be dead in three days.
But I guess when we talk about eating animals...
Yeah.
I mean, I guess this is why vegetarians are like eating any animal is wrong.
because like really we are just making it the fuck up
when we say like stop at dolphins
yeah don't eat those yeah
but they just they they they
I mean
cows taste delicious
but maybe this is some
apathetic way for me to justify
just eating every animal
or eating meat normally
I don't know I mean
either way I think when people will get like
really protective of certain animals
and they're like chicken time
it's like hmm
not that you can't be
because I also think that's not that's like being like
same people who do like fuck it
you know, club of warming is a scam.
Yeah.
I, I, I, I, I, I, feel like it's, I feel like it's worse to, like, waste the meats, you know,
if you're going to eat something because this animal died for your fucking calories,
your protein intake for the day.
Yeah.
So, you better make sure that, you know, you are, you are eating it all up.
Why do you think we haven't solved immortality yet?
I was talking about, like, I definitely think there's a desire.
There's no desire to solve mortality.
I don't think anyone wants to be immortal.
Yeah, but...
Actually, no, there are politicians.
There are definitely people who want to be immortal,
but you wouldn't want to be, like, biologically immortal?
No, and I think the problem is the people who want to be biologically immortal.
I think we all agree that those people should not.
Like, they are like number one who should not be immortal.
100%.
Because they would also just control the world order.
Yeah.
But like, hypothetically,
speaking, you wouldn't want to like biologically choose the time that you're like, all right,
I'm done with life.
No.
You wouldn't?
No.
Damn.
Because you would never, there would be some people that would never want to.
Sure, there'll be some people that would never want to.
Should they be allowed to live forever if they want to?
I mean, why not?
I don't think they should.
We need some fresh blood.
This is the same problem why, you know, we don't want old people running the country.
Sure.
You know, they get more.
society would stop if we, if we had people that were biologically immortal?
I'm not, I'm not even talking about, like, politics or wild system.
I'm talking about you as a human.
I think it would stagnate.
You would stagnate?
Yeah, I think everyone would stagnate.
Also, you get mad depressed because everyone around you would die.
Like, everyone you've never known will die.
If everyone was immortal, though, would there, there would certainly be some kind of, like, we decide who gets to have a baby.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There'd be like some governmental control being like,
well,
Garant,
your IQ,
sadly,
is not 140.
Yeah.
The person who's fallen in love with,
um,
he's genetically inferior.
So,
um,
we've decided that you will not be allowed to her,
baby.
Yeah.
So we're going to chop your dick off right now.
Yeah.
Yeah,
we'll probably do some fucked up shit if we're all immortal.
Oh,
100%.
But I,
you know,
I feel like,
I feel like,
you know,
I think about,
if you will,
given the choice of like when you die, would you take it or would you like that to be out
of your control? Joe, you've been reading a lot of philosophy books. What do what do you think?
I, the latter, I would choose. I would not want to know. You would not want to know.
Do you not want to know? Yeah, would you want to know? It's not about knowing. It's about having
that choice, you know. Why do you want this choice? So if you had the choice to know, would you?
No, no, I'm talking about, like, if you're biologically immortal. Yeah.
But not like physically immortal.
That means that you won't age.
That's what I'm talking about.
Biologically immortal for me means you won't age,
but you can still die.
You can still like your body.
You should be shot.
You need to be shot or kill it.
Oh, I see. I see.
Sometimes.
I see.
So would you choose to be biologically immortal
and essentially get to choose when you die
as opposed to just, you know, aging and passing away?
That's a hard question.
I think we've made a lot more progress in stopping age than we have.
I mean, 100%.
I mean, people are living for longer than they ever have in history.
We're not as close to being biologically immortal.
But I think they're trying to study what causes aging and how to counteract it.
In that sense, I think getting old will be fun.
You're like 90, but you feel like 30.
And then you die.
That'd be nice.
But I don't really have much thoughts on it because I'm 30.
care about old people.
Since I am not old.
Since I am not old people.
But when I become old, then I will care.
Yeah, I mean, I got to deal with right now.
True that.
You know, but it's fun to think about.
Yeah.
But then, you know, in 20 years, we'll still be doing
fucking trash days.
Will we?
No.
I don't know.
Welcome to episode 2000.
People, the other day, someone, I don't remember why.
They, like, linked to, they tweeted at me or something.
And then whenever I go on the hellhole of a platform.
And they tweeted me like, do you still stand by this?
I didn't, I haven't watched the clip.
But it was me from the first season of trash taste.
I was like, brother, that shit was nearly seven years ago.
Yeah, so probably not.
I don't know who that guy is.
It's like, I know you feel like this is a 4K gotcha,
Bro.
This is like in certain, what's the word where you can't be committed to the crime anymore?
It's like 10 years of past.
Pardoned?
No.
No.
That's you've.
Statute of limitations.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Brother, there's some crimes that this is outside of the statute of limitations, my friend.
We wouldn't even be able to like convict that person of this anymore.
I'm like, bro, we're not even the same.
Yeah.
How much you think you've changed from the very first recording of trash days?
Oh, massively.
Yeah, massively.
It's like, I don't think this.
that much in common. What about you? I feel like you're, who do you think it's changed the most and
least on the show? That's a good question. Who has changed the most? We've all changed
for different ways. Yeah. Hmm. Hmm. I'm trying to think because I feel really similar.
But you both also feel really similar, but really different at the same time as well. It's,
It's super weird.
Because I, you know, seeing you guys every week.
I'm like, yeah, they're the same old decades, you know.
And I'm like, they have changed a little bit, but not too much where you guys are.
It's changed.
Some things have not changed.
Yeah.
You're just as chill.
I feel that's the case with all of us, though.
Fundamentally, we have all haven't changed, but we've all just gotten.
It'd be interesting, you know, from the audience perspective as well.
Yeah.
I wonder from there.
Well, according to that guy.
that gotchaed.
You're exactly the same.
Well, I mean, look, if, I don't think it was like
an imminent, I think it was in a funny way.
Yeah.
Oranges or whatever.
You know, I think, I don't know, people.
But there are people who are serious about that kind of shit.
Yeah.
There are people who do try to like, hold you to.
They're like, I can't believe you said this 10 years ago.
And I'm like, brother, it was 10 years ago.
But, you know, people want to get anything.
You know, I think some people, they really,
I don't know
because there's something about seeing something
in 4K and thinking
that feels real.
It's just not real anymore.
What do you mean?
Like
watching an episode of trash taste
first 10 episodes
that doesn't exist anymore.
We couldn't recreate that.
Also I saw
you know, I saw it's not real.
That's not, that doesn't exist.
It's a rel.
of the past.
You know?
For sure.
God, I hate looking at the...
Like, we could not
remake that.
No.
You know what I mean?
No.
Okay.

I don't remember any of these episodes.
There's a part of that that is still true.
Yeah.
But it's so far from what it is now.
You know, I still think we're similar.
Similar but different.
Great.
Yeah, I mean, I think our personalities are mostly the same.
Yeah, yeah.
changes amongst that, but it looks like the same.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I feel like the biggest,
I'm trying to think of like what the biggest change is in seven years,
because we've definitely changed in seven years.
But I hope so.
We've gotten wiser in some aspects, but also.
We'd like to think about that.
In some aspects, but also fucking dumber in other aspects.
How many views does the trash taste channel have total?
If you go to like
Before before the YouTube view counter
Fucked everything up
No, you can see it on the channel
Yeah, if you go more, click more there
Yeah, up up, yeah, there
At the bottom
Half a billion views
That's crazy
That's old school views as well
That's old school
None of this new view inflation shit
That's real views, baby
Real views
And they're a short of this
I see a post.
Some people are like, yeah, I'm caught up.
I've watched every episode.
I'm like, that's so beast.
That's so sick.
I actually saw a post the other day where I think it's a trash taste first where we talked
about a story, assuming we'd already talked about it.
Yes, it was your license one, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I thought we hadn't spoke about it.
You're like, no, I spoke about it.
I was like, I swear down we spoke about it.
But no, it's not that interesting a story.
I just forgot to renew my Japanese license.
And so now if I need to get a.
a Japanese license.
Yeah.
Oh, that's why.
So if I need to get a Japanese license,
then I have to go through the official process of getting tested again.
I still have my UK license,
but I'm not allowed to use my international license here anymore.
Damn.
That's annoying because it's an easy thing to forget.
Yeah.
And a very hard thing to rectify now.
Yes, it is.
But it's my issue.
It's not life-changing for me because I,
the reason I didn't get a renewed was because I had used my license literally twice in my entire time of living in Japan.
Once on the road trip that we took for the Trash Day Special and one other time when me and Sydney took a road trip and I never used it again.
So that was that was it.
That's why I forgot to renew it.
Fair enough.
But yeah, I mean, Japan, luckily, is a country where you can get around without, you know, driving.
You miss out a lot.
you can still survive.
Yeah.
Which is the important thing.
There's just something so fun in my head
about pulling up to a convening
in the middle of God damn nowhere in your car
and just, I don't know, getting a nice coffee
in this beautiful day.
I don't know, it's just so chill.
Surrounded by fields, it's dead.
I don't disagree, bro.
It's got such a slowness to it.
I love it.
There's something beautiful about it.
But I would never want to live in like a Akio or whatever.
Dude, I feel like those,
like, I don't know, I want to call them scams,
but I feel like scams have gotten way more on like,
because I stopped using Twitter and I was like,
I'll start using Instagram just to use it more because I never used it.
Yeah.
I feel like maybe because I'm living in Japan,
I'm a foreigner, like I'm getting targeted.
There's so many channels of people who don't live in Japan
that are running like businesses that are like,
we'll help you buy an Akiya, DM us.
It's like, motherfuckers, they're like tourists.
and they're like dealing and like selling abandoned houses in Japan.
I'm like, what is going on?
This is all really weird.
I mean, there's just an absolute abundance of those now.
Like more and more.
But it feels weird.
Like, I don't know what's going on or why people who don't live here are dealing in the business.
Yeah, that shit's a scam for sure.
Selling abandoned houses on Instagram.
Yeah.
It seems weird and I don't fully understand it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I had dinner with someone the other day where it was their first time in Japan.
And I'd forgotten the, what's the right way to describe it?
The dream of Japan that they had being fulfilled.
And just like every little thing being like, oh, my God, this is amazing.
And I'm like, oh, yeah, this is, this is like the feeling that we'd forgotten living seven years in Japan.
Because they were like, they went through like the exact script.
Whereas like, so what's like living here?
Like, you know what I mean?
It's just like, you're low-key.
Like, like, I could really see myself living here, you know, getting a place.
And that, that is like-
I'm gonna go to the comedy every day.
Yeah, that is like peak, like those scams and advertisements or whatever.
That is like, that is the target audience.
Yeah.
Because people are looking to escape whatever life they have now
and fucking pack everything up and move to Japan, you know.
Yeah.
Which, you know, even though it is a dream, there's a lot of great things
about Japan as well. It's probably not as simple as what they imagine it to be. But I, you know,
I get it to a sense. I mean, you can definitely get these acacia for cheap. It's just a lot more
challenges than are advertised. Yeah. Like if you're not able to fix it yourself, which is,
even if you're, you know, you don't, let's say you are capable, you still don't know how to do
certain things in the Japanese way, like electrical, you know, electrical standards are different across
the world. Yeah. Also needs to comply with like earthquake safety shit as well. So you got to get that
tested. Yeah. And then on top of that, you know, these ACCA are normally in locations that are undesirable,
which, you know, some people want that anyway, which is great. And if you want that, that's fine.
But then on top of that, there's like tons of different issues like, you know, and a lot of
in Aka trash sorting is privately done. It's not a government right. Like you have to, it is like a
privately handled matter and you can like be excluded from trash
pick up and stuff. Yeah. If you don't follow rules and stuff. So it's like
there's a lot more to it and there's a lot more complicated than that. Um,
than it's led on to believe. And also, you know,
not just because, um, it's like near somewhere doesn't necessarily mean it's also
accessible in a sense. Like there are a lot of really out there places in Japan that are
pretty brutal. Um, so I don't know. But it just seems weird to
I don't know.
I don't fully understand what is going on
or why there are so many of these accounts
or how they're making this money,
because if they're selling an Accia,
what's in it for them?
You know?
There's definitely some shady stuff going on.
Oh,
and I don't really fully understand it
because also Japan doesn't seem to really care about
what is happening.
Yeah, but the best way to just like,
I think the most like legit or legal way
to go through an Nokia,
if you are actually interested,
it is to just like find where the Akiah is and then just go to the nearest real estate agent.
Yeah.
And most of the time they'll tell you if it's for free or up for sale or whatever.
Don't fall into those Instagram scams.
Yeah.
I think it's, you know, there's some aspect of it.
It's quite cool.
It's like, yeah, I mean, fuck it, why not?
I thought about it at one point.
If there's these houses that no one's using and someone's going to do them up and
live in it, you know, whatever, do that, man.
I think just a lot of the problem with the advertising of all this stuff.
is like, hey, it's like, it's like harder than ever to get a visa in Japan.
The yen is absolutely dog shit.
It's like, yeah, you might have this house, but it's like, there's a lot more challenges
beyond that that's not really, you know, being shown.
Yeah.
It has, it's fair of own issues as well.
It has been nice being on Instagram instead of Twitter, though.
It reminds me that not everyone is always angry about everything all the time.
Sometimes they are.
They can be.
They can be for sure.
There's way more scams, I feel like.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I get so many more scams, I feel like.
Yeah.
I just have to wait through it.
Yeah, you just wait through all those.
But I feel like at least scrolling on Instagram,
there's less maybe like engagement baits.
There's still engagement bait on every like social media platform.
But the one thing I realize every time I load up Twitter is like,
I don't know why, but there's always like, well, one post.
I don't know if you guys get the same post where it's just like,
here's why the future of AI, Hollywood is sweating right now.
And it's just like the, like, I made this, I made this short film in one prompt and it's got
Hollywood Sweeting and it's just like, bro.
That looks like shit.
Yeah, yeah, it looks like shit.
Looks like fucking shit.
Yeah, that sounds like you're in your early stages of the IG algorithm.
Yeah.
Because I don't get those anymore.
I just get like cool art now.
But yeah, every now and then it'll just be like fight against the common.
and, you know, use AI to solve all your issues because you're uncreative as fuck.
Bro, it's like, no, I'm good, thanks.
Fucking restaurants that use menu AI pictures, I'm like, bro.
Oh, my God.
I've started seeing that more often, man.
It's so depressing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's like, brother, just take a picture of your ramen bowl.
What is this?
It doesn't look like ramen.
Yeah.
I've noticed some AIs have been using AI songs as well.
Some restaurants have been using AI songs.
And it's always like, it's never like a completely made up song.
is always like an AI cover of a well-known song.
So you're like, oh, who's this?
It's like the uncanny value of music.
You're just like...
Yeah.
I feel like I've heard of this before, but...
The hardest part is all, like, the background instrumental music.
Yeah.
It's really hard to spot right away.
It's AI.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The only way I've been able to tell that music is AI,
like if it's like low-fi or something,
just by looking at the creator's profile and seeing how often they upload.
Because someone who's making...
making music is not going to be uploading daily.
Yes, that is true.
That is true.
Generally speaking.
Yeah.
So it's concerning that I can't tell with like
lo-fi music, like no vocal.
I can't tell it's AI.
I mean, sometimes even, it's hard even with vocals.
I've heard some songs just like playing on like a loudspeaker or whatever
where I'm like, oh, I wonder who this like new artist is.
And then I try to search it up and I'm like, fuck, it's another AI song.
Every time I'm just like,
motherfucker they got me.
It's like, I thought I was better than that.
It's so annoying.
It feels like it's ruined everything.
Yeah.
And nobody likes it.
No one likes it.
Get rid of it.
Yeah.
Or maybe the kids will.
Who knows?
They're going to grow up.
You know what's so sad about Japan as well?
Is that Japan was so into illustrations.
Like, they would have illustrations for everything.
The ward office, the restaurant will have a little, you know,
there's little guy.
Yeah.
You know, there's illustrations for,
everything and it's slowly
being replaced by AI. Japan is not
really against AI it seems like
generally speaking. It seems that they're pretty chill with it.
It's fucking depressing every time
I walk into a bookstore and the amount of
like AI related books, like
pro-AI related books there are just like
lined up. It's like
look I like I know
it's man shouts at cloud like the shit's gonna
not it's not going away. I know that but
the same time it's like why sell out your soul
and have every ounce of creativity
gone. Yeah. When
you know, it was really charming those, you know,
my ward office has all these really amazingly illustrated,
like, explainer things that were also helpful
because I can't always read the Japanese.
And so it was really nice having these amazingly illustrated things.
And I was just, eh, I slop.
And I'm like, this is horrible to look at it.
And I don't want to look at it.
It looks like shit.
And, you know, every time you'd go travel to the countryside or something,
they'd always be, like, you know, the local, the local mascots.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that was always awesome, you know.
It was like in a country that,
loved artists. And so it's really sad seeing it kind of just disappear. It's just the whimsies
gone, man. Everyone's lost the whimsical, man. Everyone's lost the whimsy, man. Uh, yeah, it is depressing
as far because you were like, damn, I really thought Japan was going to be a little bit pushed back,
at least on the creative side of it. Yeah. Yeah. No, but I think it's also just because, like,
company culture here, from everything I've heard, a lot of companies here and other friends I've talked to,
They're really, like every company, pushing AI.
Yeah, because it's all about that productivity as they keep up.
KPI's, KPI's.
Yep.
Suppressing.
Yeah.
What's your KPI, Jay?
Key Performance Index.
No, I don't.
I don't have a KPI.
What do you have?
How do you measure success?
How do you measure success?
For yourself?
For myself?
Based on my happiest.
Just so weak.
Okay, I'm kidding.
Yeah, it's like, I don't know.
What's the point of success if you're not happy about it?
That's true.
You know?
That's true.
And it's like you can be happy without being successful.
No, I agree.
Sorry, that took me a second to realize what you're saying.
Yeah.
Can you?
I was being so deep, guys.
That was very deep.
Let me think.
What do you think?
What do you think follow up question to have for you?
Hold on.
Hold on.
Yeah, you're right.
What would you do if YouTube fell through?
What would I do if YouTube fell through?
I don't know.
I'd probably, I mean, I think that thankfully I've over our careers, you and I both,
I'm sure we can say, and gone as well, is that like, you know,
we've done a pretty good job of socializing and connecting with lots of people and lots of different industries.
So thankfully, if YouTube goes through, then I got a lot of places I can ring up to be like,
Please give job.
I don't know if I'd want to be in the same industry.
Yeah, I would give it a try.
I think maybe I would.
I don't know.
Maybe like a YouTube, like producer, like a content producer or something.
I mean, I don't know what else I can do.
I've specced so heavily into this.
Nah, I'm like, I'm like Roonscape Strength Bill.
All I know how to do is use the strength weapon.
I don't have anything else.
Would you, would you try and pursue like, yeah, like let's say like, you know,
streaming, YouTube, all that just disappears.
What would you, what would you do?
Would you just go to a completely different industry?
Gamble.
Gamble?
Just go to Vegas and be like, fuck it.
All on black, baby.
All on black.
I really don't know.
If I would want to be in the same industry, if I felt so.
Gone, question.
Hypothetically.
Yeah.
Tomorrow, your online content creator job.
Gone.
Right.
It could be tomorrow anyway.
That is true.
That is the reality.
So maybe not even hypothetically.
Just when it happens, what are you going to do?
What's your next move?
Just go live in the woods, isn't it?
I would love to do marketing.
No, you wouldn't.
I just, I want to, at least for one day.
One day, one day, one day.
Because I want to see, you know, because we deal with it.
The other end of it.
Yeah.
I'd love to see what the conversations are like on the other side.
Yeah, dude, you should do that.
You should just be like, hey, you go up to geeks and you just be like, hey, can I do marketing for one day?
No, no, no, no.
That's sales.
That's sales.
Marketing is like, I'm like working for this table.
I'm trying to deal with selling this table.
Right.
I would love to be in the meetings.
I don't think you would love to be in the meetings.
No, I really want to be in the meetings.
No, you really don't.
No, because the shit that they send us, I'm like, there's not a single motherfucker in that company that
understands what their product is or how to sell it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'd love to be like, what do you mean that we talk about the four legs?
Every table has four legs.
What the fuck are you on about?
I want to see more creative advertising.
More creative ads again.
Avongarde.
You know?
That's what I do.
You know, if you make a good ads, that sticks with people.
Like a very, very long time.
I was just, I recently found, or Alex actually found a website where they have
digital scans of like all of like the old.
like 90s, like gaming magazines and like, all that kinds of stuff.
Dude, going through that and just seeing all of the super creative, like, you know,
the full spread ads and shit like that for games and stuff.
Dude.
It used to be so sick.
Again, whimsy, bro.
We've lost the whimsy.
Magazines in Japan are coming back, gosh, market.
Nah.
Really?
I saw an article that was like, magazine's back.
Really?
Yeah.
Dude, shone and jump sales of, like, the lowest it's ever been.
Not a magazine.
It's literally called Shorn and Jump magazine.
It's a book.
That's more of a book.
It's definitely a magazine.
Is it really a magazine?
Yes.
I've always thought of Shorn and Jump is a book.
It's a weekly magazine.
I was for there's a book though.
I get what you're saying.
You know what I mean?
Like it's like a book.
It's like a comic book.
It's a collection of comics.
Okay.
What's the magazine.
Magazine I've always thought of as discussion around a topic.
It's like the news, the, the like cultural impact of that, that thing.
You know, like fashion magazines.
Yeah, and Shod and Jump is a magazine for manga.
It's like the highlights of manga.
You need more words in it, you know?
Admittedly, I'm realizing now, I don't, I'm dead ass never bought a Shuron Jump.
Yeah, I can tell.
I can tell because there's definitely words in it.
No, I know there's words.
No.
No, in between, as in between each of like the new, the new,
chapters for whatever. There's like segments of like interviews and like discussion around like the
manga industry. Like it's a manga magazine. That has a manga inside of it. Okay. You know what?
I'm wrong and I was making shit up. Okay. That's fine. But yes. It's a magazine.
Is it coming back? That's what I don't know. I read an article being like these hipsters.
They're like this is back. It's so back now. Hipsters are back. I think like Japan.
Look it up. Japan hipsters are elite though.
Japan hipsters are a lady.
I don't know if they're single-handedly bringing magazines back.
Japan hipsters have power, though.
I don't know how they do it.
They make shit happen in Japan.
They do.
Hmm.
Okay, end of magazine.
Yeah, this is the article I was reading.
Yeah.
Wait, go back.
Give me an article that supports my narrative.
Okay, here we go.
Okay.
No, holds this.
Can't be replaced by AI.
What is it?
What is it?
What is it?
Oh, cool. Great, great.
All right.
Why Japanese gaming magazines are still going strong with Japan,
but they are one dead Fami Tzu.
Yeah, I did have a, I think I had dinner with a guy
who was an editor at Fami Tzu.
You tell me it's going strong.
People still buy Fomitsu and stuff.
I mean, that's fucking awesome.
Because Fomitsu magazines are so sick.
And they're like, they still have that, the whimsy.
Yeah, I miss old gaming magazines.
Yeah, dude.
Like, I was flipping through like, like old Nintendo.
Power magazine.
Yeah.
Dude, it's,
it's crazy.
We should,
we should do a Patreon episode
where we just flip through
some of these magazines.
I,
I remember,
back when I was a kid,
I,
we had like a UK Nintendo magazine.
I can't remember what it was called.
Oh,
I just can't have one.
And I,
I remember I sent in fan mail
and they highlighted,
they always had the segment
highlighting different,
like fan messages.
I remember seeing my name
pop up on one of the magazines.
I was like,
no fucking way.
I made it.
If they've been archives, you might be able to find it.
Probably.
What's it called?
Can you search up Nintendo UK magazine?
I can't remember the official name.
Our magazines had such weird names.
Yeah.
The official Nintendo magazine?
I think it might have been O&M, the official Nintendo magazine.
There was another magazine that I always got that my mom would never buy for me,
but I would sometimes be able to convince her into it because it was really...
Yeah.
Yeah, I think this was the magazine.
Because I remember the Americans had
Nintendo Power
Oh, we added in Australia too, apparently
Oh, 13, yeah,
PlayStation one or like a general gaming one
I've got what it was called.
I don't know, but it was a...
Remember good old demo discs?
I missed demo discs.
Demo discs.
With Pizza Hut.
Why? Why Pizza Hut?
I was always, like, confused.
Why was it Pizza Hut
that got the demo discs a lot of the times?
I don't know, but I'm pretty sure
I still have that Ice Age 2.
demo disc somewhere that I got from like a pizza hut or whatever it was McDonald's well
whimsy is dead huh whimsy is whimsy is dead dude now we still go we still got one piece
that's it that's once that's gone whimsy that's it that's it that's it i don't think we have whimsy
i think we got rid of whimsy no fun is allowed anymore for any who's dead yeah yeah but it's
it our fault yeah no millennials did millennials did millennials kill whimsy
Yeah.
We didn't do shit.
We didn't do shit.
It's the tech bros that kill Whimsie, you know?
And a lot of them, a millennial.
Joey, Joey, Joey.
You don't support my narrative right now, so I'm going to call fake news here.
I'm sorry for killing your whimsy.
Look, bring it back.
Bring it back.
I feel like whimsy is on, is on the uprise.
Well, I was searching for it so much now.
Yeah.
In the UK, they used to have way, way back, I don't know when.
They would build these, like, little weird elf houses on, like, a rich person would build it on their, like, ground.
Yeah.
And they would just have some guy live in it.
Just some random, like, normally, like, I think they were called tramps back in the day.
Yeah.
People used to, like, wander from farm to farm.
Oh.
And they would just have them on the field, have them, like, live in this hot on their manner.
And they would do it just because it's, like, when, you know,
We're like, yes, we have some strange druid tramp fellow who lives in the hut down there.
That was a thing that he said, just for whimsy.
They were like, yeah, we have a little guy over there.
And he loves it.
He just wanders around.
There's that guy for the week.
Yeah.
Do you think we've regressed in design?
Because all of the greatest pieces of architecture, I swear, were made like hundreds of years ago.
Yeah, we did hit peak pretty early.
Well, they'll put right there too up there.
I think...
When did we stop trying?
I don't know.
Okay, here's a question to me.
This is on my mind a lot.
Yeah.
When did, like, that conscious feeling of the cost of everything
come into play?
You know what I mean?
Where you started to, like, question
how much everything costs?
Like, shit doesn't get done
because of cost anymore.
But like it didn't feel like
that used to be the case.
Like things used to,
weird things used to get done
or whimsical things used to happen.
And I wonder if because we were just
like people were better off economically.
I don't know.
But do you ever have this feeling that like
that one day suddenly
cost became a massive issue in everything?
I'd be real.
I always thought cost was a massive thing.
But like when you're a kid,
you don't think of this, obviously.
I mean, I did because I only had allowance to work off.
So I'm like, damn, bro.
You go fucking.
No, for you, but like.
Booster pack is how much.
Can you give an example of like something that,
something that happened based on,
based on cost.
Yeah.
I'm trying to think.
But like now, right?
Are you saying cost killed whimsy?
Kind of.
But like you mentioned like a statue, right?
Yeah.
Like now,
you would just hear about people who would just be like,
they just hire a guy to make this fucking statue,
and he would just make what he wanted to make.
And a guy would be like, yeah, cool, I'll pay for it.
And now he's like rich benefactors of ye old.
And now we don't really get that,
even though we have richer people than ever.
I don't hear, like,
Elon Musk hiring some guy to make, like...
Are we about to go on a tangent about late stage capitalism?
I think so.
Because I feel like the conversation is going this direction right now.
Right, I don't know.
But like...
It's a fucking meme of like every video essay I see.
It's like, why is this thing happening?
Well, it's a late stage capitalism.
What can you say?
What can you say?
But it does feel that way, though.
Like, I don't know.
No one's fucking making statues anymore except for like,
uh, really shitty sports ones.
Well, it's,
I feel like it's the homogenization of culture in a way.
Ah, true.
Yeah, maybe you're right.
Because it's like,
Nowadays, you know, you know what, I was, I was a dumb, I was a dumb kid.
Because whenever people would say, support your local businesses, I would, like, as a kid,
I would always be like, why? Like, Tesco says everything. Why would I need to support my local
business? Like, who cares about the farmers? I could just go to Tesco, give me more Tesco's.
And now as an adult, I'm like, where, where, wait, hold up. Hold up. There, there is,
major downsides to putting, giving all of your financial power to just a few, like, select
big mega corporations and having them swallow up every piece of businesses everywhere.
But that is what the modern world is becoming, you know, a lot of whimsy and a lot of, like,
let's say, expression of personality. It does come from these small individual pockets of letting
people express themselves a bit more.
And
when everything just becomes one big
conglomerates, everything's going to look the fucking same.
I remember I did a video
on this fucking article
that somebody wrote some
professor
at the Tokyo University
I think it was like a British guy
basically saying like, oh, I hate
Kornbini. Oh yeah, I saw this.
Because it is like a place
that homogenizes everything in
kills like wonder and art. Yeah. And I'm just like, I guess, but at the same time,
it's like, no one walks into a fucking cominee like, you know, starry eye and being like,
wow, I can't, I can't wait to see all this like whimsy. I don't know. In my local cominee.
I don't know. Talk to the average tourist and they say they get the whimsy from the conby.
Yeah, they get the whimsy from the company. Every time. For sure. You know, like the first, you know,
a couple of times for sure. I wonder if that, like, because there are sometimes I've been.
in the middle of nowhere in Japan
and there's like one
conbini and everyone does all
their shopping there. Yeah. In like
circumstances like that I'm like, probably not
good that the conbini kind of undercut
everyone and caused all the local
stores to run out of business.
Yeah. And it also makes it look very similar to elsewhere.
But in Tokyo it's like, bro, who cares?
Tokyo is an architectural mess.
Like, why is everywhere,
every building's different.
there is no cohesion.
I like that, though.
No, I like it.
I don't think it's like a
like a convenient as a blight.
If anything, it's like,
it's like a checkpoint in every,
every street in Tokyo.
Yeah.
I would say, you know,
or like the lack of cohesion
is an aesthetic by itself.
Yeah, absolutely.
Which is why you can get some
like the coolest looking places in Tokyo
if you go to the right places,
you know.
But it, you know,
it does make me appreciate
the other maybe European cities
that have their own vibe,
their own architecture as well.
It's different.
It's just different, you know, but I don't think combinis are a blight at all.
No.
Yeah.
If anything, the love hotels look way worse.
Yeah.
They look like cheetah leopard skin buildings.
You're like, what is this?
Yeah, but they also end up becoming some of the most whimsical buildings.
Yeah, true.
That is true.
You're like, what the fuck is this like Disney Castle?
Hotel Atlantis.
And it's like, it's like fucking bubbles.
And you're like, wow.
Well, like an Orsaka, they got the one that's like Maui statues.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, they're pretty cool too.
We would never allow that in the UK.
They would, they would be like, like, UK news if someone tried to build something with a bit of whimsy.
That sucks, though, too.
So I feel like there's a, there's got to be a cohesion there that a lot of countries, I think, struggle to get.
Yeah.
When is, when is the, I'm trying to think, when was the last time, like, a city did something that maybe you lived in or maybe you heard about that is like, yeah, that's, that's exciting.
That's, that's giving me.
anytime I hear Singapore do anything
I'm like fuck
they're always doing good things aren't they
sure what do you mean
everything in Singapore they build
seems so impressive
like what
look at any any fucking building in Singapore
it looks like it's in like 2050
I don't have the fucking architectural plans of Singapore
I'm just wondering if you have a name
of a new structural thing that you saw
not like brand new but obviously when you look at any of the
iconic buildings there you're like
oh yeah what's the one with the boat
on the building.
The big boat on the building.
The casino.
I got what it's called.
What the hell is that?
I keep forgetting the name of that building.
It's funny.
I just want to,
I just wanted to challenge you on it
because it's funny because
a lot of people call
like Singapore, like the city,
you know, sometimes it can feel
soulless in places.
Yeah.
Because of its architecture.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, not so much in like...
I am surprised you brought off Singapore.
I was like,
yeah.
No, sorry, I wasn't saying it was Wimcical.
Oh, oh, okay.
I was just saying the buildings they build are impressive.
Oh, I see.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It looks interesting.
Yeah.
But I mean, I think that's a problem of being a very small country
with a lot of people that want to live in it.
Yeah, I mean, there's, I mean, they got some incredible botanical gardens.
True.
Prettyest airport.
Prettiest airport, incredible botanical gardens.
Very clean.
clean, but out of a lot of the cities I've been to, doesn't have the most character.
Well, it's basically a business hub, unfortunately.
Yeah, exactly.
I don't think it, you know, obviously not being a historical city as well, also kind of hurts
in that aspect.
Yeah.
Having an identity.
Yeah.
So it's quite tough.
Yeah.
I mean, impressive buildings, though.
Oh, there was a statue that was made recently.
I forgot about the messy statue in Argentina.
That's, that's, I think that's a good representation.
Have you not seen the messy statue?
No, I've not seen this.
Oh my God.
Every statue I have seen unveiled is bad.
Like, we have clearly lost the art of making statues.
Oh, Jesus.
Look at the first one.
Wait, look at the first one.
Bro.
Oh my, dude, that is horrendous.
It's like, I did it.
So there are still statues being made, you know?
You know?
We need the rich benefactors back to keep this alive.
What other happen to that, man?
That is a terrible angle.
Why? Why? What?
Yeah, what the fuck?
We used to have people that make statues.
It's all gone.
Well, one of, you know, going back to the World Cup,
one of like the funnest periods of the World Cup
was just seeing the entire world get along together as well
and just seeing different cultures mix.
And I think one of my favorite stories is kind of like, I guess, the love story between the Boston locals and the Scottish fans, the Tartan Army.
Because they basically just went around all of Boston, putting traffic cones on all of their statues.
They do do that.
Yeah, they do do that.
And it was just like, and the locals fucking loved it.
And they were like, you know, no, no, let it stay. Let it stay.
We miss them.
You miss them, you know.
And, you know, that was, that was like a little bit of whimsy, a little bit of like, just
nice, feel-good stuff.
Yeah, it's just bans, bro.
In 2026.
Yeah, exactly.
You know, not everything has to be serious.
Just does it for the bans.
That is a horrific statue.
That is a terrible statue.
I'm sorry, messy.
Yeah.
I wish, like, you know, if a statue gets made of me, I'm going to be pretty on top of it.
I'm going to be like, no, show me the design before you go through with it.
No, if anything, I want mine to be like,
it's like the most what the fuck thing ever.
There was some basketballer who got some statue recently
that was also atrocious.
I've only ever heard of statues in bad.
I don't know what it was.
But it was like terrible.
And it was like a third of the size of the other statues.
I don't know what it was.
It was ridiculous.
Let's show someone in the comments knows.
What pose would you go with if you had a statue?
Fuck.
what am I remembered for?
That's that's exactly it.
Oh then I've definitely just fucking hit the fuck.
Oh my God.
A little squat with the, oh my God.
Dude, that looks like someone.
Jesus.
Fuck, bro.
Dwayne Wade statue unveiled in Miami as fans contend
it looks nothing like it.
emotion is that. Yeah, and to the audio listeners, yeah, I think it does look nothing like.
It looks like a burn victim. That's the only way I can describe it. Yeah, that is, that is terrible.
Man, we need some more fucking sculptors. Bring, bring, bring, bring, we've lost that. We've
lost that. We've lost that in the Renaissance, man, you know, have we seen some of the
shits that was sculpted, sculpted back then? Dude, fucking, what's his name? Michaelangelo? Yeah.
Yeah. That was a sculptor, right? No.
Who's the painter, wasn't he?
No, he was the one who's the one who did David?
Wait, it might have been Michael.
That was Mike.
Yeah.
Who's the one of the painting again, the 16th?
16th travel?
16th, sorry, the 16th chapel.
Sorry.
Oh, I'm sure.
I'm like you today.
That was.
Right?
I thought it was, yeah, I mean.
Was he both?
Yeah, he did both.
Was he a sculptor as well?
Yeah, I think so.
No way he was doing both.
God, he's scoted.
Could we Google this?
Did he do both?
Well, yeah.
Who did David? Who did the statue of David?
I thought it was... Davidae?
Davidae is David or Davide?
He's Davide, right?
Sistine Chapel.
No, the Sistine Chapel is definitely Michelangelo.
Right? That's what I thought too.
Okay, but I feel like the statue of David was also...
Yeah, the statue of David is also Michaelangelo.
Let's see.
It is Michelangelo.
He's the goat!
Damn, he's kind of nasty.
He's the goat!
Damn, he is nasty.
No wonder they named a fucking Ninja Turtle after me.
He's the goat.
Like, this is back, like, back in the day, you know,
maybe we have regressed in talent as a society
because if this motherfucker can be doing this.
I think I read somewhere, he was like 23 when he just did the exaggerate.
They had rich guys.
It'd be like, go on, boy.
Learn.
Scott.
Yeah, and then he busts out, like, the most insane shit.
Well, he lived to 88s in that period.
Oh, my God.
Damn, he also stopped working when he was like 60, I guess.
Yeah.
Damn.
Yeah.
Damn, he's nasty with it.
Yeah.
I didn't realize he was the goat like that.
He is the goat.
I just thought it was two different people.
I didn't know the same.
I just assume he's good at painting and sculpting.
Yeah.
He was just built if, bro.
I mean, that's kind of crazy.
Well, Da Vinci was also an iconic painter, but he was like an engineer as well.
He's an inventor.
Yeah.
People just had free time back to.
and they actually did something useful with it.
This was, this was an era before TikTok, you know.
This could be us.
It could be us if we locked in.
Podcasting.
Yeah. This could be us if we got rid of doom scrolling.
We could be inventing shit.
I think one of my favorite posts I've seen is something like, yeah,
culture died when men stopped deciding to make bands in their garage
and just decided to start making podcasts.
True.
And I'm like, yeah.
Kind of true.
I saw people that were
they were detoxing on doom scrolling
by playing video games
or watching a TV show
or watching a movie.
Sure.
That was their solution to, they were like,
damn, I played a game for three hours
and it felt so good.
Damn, we're cooked, man.
We're cooked.
People are like acting like
just not doom scrolling and doing literally anything else is now productive.
Jesus Christ.
Be honest.
When you watch a TV show, do you check your phone?
It does depend on the TV show.
I was going to say, it depends how good it is.
Okay.
If it is like Betical Saul, like it's an event or something and I'm like, I'm locked in for it or like a plural of us, I'm watching it.
Yeah.
Can you marathon without checking your phone?
I like the episodic break.
So you get like the 20 minutes stretch your legs, go check your phone, you get a snack, go for a walk.
I enjoy that.
So I'm okay doing it.
Obviously if my phone's blowing up and I got to do some stuff, it's a little hard and I'll, but generally speaking, yeah, no, I don't check my phone.
Unless, you know, but if it's like some Netflix slop, I'll.
Yeah.
Just, I'll just fucking put something on.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
We're talking with champions while I'm...
Yeah.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Sure.
This depends.
Why?
What's up?
No, it's just like, because I feel like, you know, we've talked about
modern, like, Netflix trying to cater towards being second.
Or their listeners?
Yes, second monitor content.
Which second monitor content?
We are second.
I think all of YouTube has become second monitor content in a way.
For the most part, yeah.
Yeah.
I would say.
Like how often nowadays you watch content on your second monitor or do you just listen to it as opposed to maybe like five, ten years ago?
I think in the when I'm like having a bath, I watch it.
Yeah, because I'm like, I'm like, I don't think five, ten years ago, I had YouTube audience just background noise as much as I do now.
Before you'd like watch a, you'd see a creature upload, for example.
And you'd be like, oh shit.
I'm saving this one.
I'm gonna sit down and watch this one.
I still do that.
For some creatures, but I feel like
back then I had like maybe like 10 creatures
or something where, you know.
Yeah, the number is definitely
gone down for that now.
I think like for me now it's just
summoning salt.
Yeah, he's the only one where I'm like
new upload, put everything down.
Yeah. fully locking in.
Yeah. I'm sitting on the couch for this.
I don't think I've watched his late.
The Tetris.
one? Yeah. Pretty good.
Was it good? Yeah. I can watch it. He's the goat. Yeah. Yeah, no, but it is true.
Like, I don't know. Like, I feel like I just don't watch YouTube in general as much anymore.
Really? Maybe because more of the content I consume has become second channel stuff. Yeah.
I've just like, yeah, I don't know. I don't get the urge to watch as much anymore. Or maybe I've just like run out of shit to watch.
You do you scroll a lot though? Are you a shorts? No. Are you a real user now, Jerry? No. I have, I
very much try to limit. Oh, you know, you're a book user. I'm a book boy. Yeah.
Detoxing from Doxing from DoamSkroll. I'm, I'm doing detoxing from DomeSroll.
Can you Google this from right? I'm pretty sure I saw this though. You've truly hits your final
form. I have. I have. I read crime and punishment for like six and a half hours.
Yeah. Without looking at my phone, I was like, fuck, that was so good. My brain enjoyed that.
Detoxing from social media by playing video games.
I mean, is it valid?
What would you say?
Is it valid to detox from doing scrolling by playing video games?
I truly think...
If it's Red Dead Redemption 100%
I truly do think that like,
you know, the way we talk about companies
in like industrial sections, you know,
they pollute the environment.
I think social media pollutes the digital environment.
Please our minds.
I think it is like a pollutant.
I don't think anyone thinks it's good.
That was a peak point of it.
There was a point where I think people loved it
and everyone was excited because the connective nature of the internet
was thrilling and it felt like everyone could kind of coexist
and everyone was excited to be connecting people across the world.
Yeah.
And then it turned when obviously, you know, 2016, Harambe.
Um, you know, obviously, like, it'll
went down, he'll win her.
Around that time, you know, uh, politics shifted.
Bot farms became more common, you know, became very common for, uh, certain governments.
I think GammaGate as well did a lot.
Yeah, but I think a lot of this stuff was like coordinated,
bot farms that were trying to push narratives, um,
that, that riled people up and caught a lot of real people in it.
Mm-hmm.
And, you know, I think,
now it is just digital pollution.
And I think like real pollution,
it should be,
you know,
kind of regulated in a sense like,
like,
I don't think a kid should be able
to just go on social media
and scroll forever.
No.
And hours.
I just don't think it's,
that is genuinely like worse
than putting fucking,
I don't know,
smallpox in their water or some shit.
Probably. Yeah.
I'm not too sure about that.
At least they'll survive smallpox,
probably.
I remember when I was looking off
my nephew,
uh,
for a bit.
and my mom put on like cocoa melon
and he watched it.
And I didn't catch her putting on cocoa melon
but I was like,
mom, no, do not do this.
And holy shit, it was like terrifying.
I was like.
They're in a trance.
They are.
And he was like,
normally,
MK Ultra for kids.
Yeah, he was like normal.
He was like normally like,
a well-behaved kids,
you know, he was like curious.
You know, I'm trying to teach him how to,
I bought him like a,
train track that he had to build himself and he built that and he was just like really inquisitive
put on cocoa melon and I wasn't want to switch it off my old fuck was like I was like you've
watched this for two minutes that's the baby equivalent to just one more fix man just one more
line like give me that come on I need it man yeah it is fucking terrifying just seeing yeah it really
is like just some mk ultra for kids it's just whatever it is they've just tapped into the child's brain
and just done fuck knows and and god and and i thought we had a bad with like fucking telotubbies
what telotubby dude telotubbies dude telotubbies used to get mad like controversies of like
oh it's like making kids dumber and shit you know you never heard about that i'm a kid
Yeah, apparently back with our kids, that was like a telotubbies thing, yeah.
What's the goaded kids show then?
What's the safe one for you?
The safe one?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, there was also the tinky winky being gay thing, but...
This is some...
This is a real 90s issues.
Yeah.
Man, 90s got away with some weird shit, man.
I look at the design of the telitubbies, and they, like, looking at it now, it looks like some fucking
analog horror monster design.
Dude, it's scary.
You know?
Remember Mr. Blobby as well?
That was a freaky ass.
That was a British thing.
That was a British thing as well.
That was a weird.
We were pretty good at making
kids shows.
We had like quite a lot of exports.
Like pepper pig.
Yeah.
Look at this shit, man.
Thomas the Tank.
So this is a nightmare creature.
Right here.
Thomas Tank's British.
In Thomas Tank Engine.
He wasn't a fucking tank.
Thomas the Tank.
He's called Thomas the Tank.
It's Thomas Tank.
engine. Yeah, it's Thomas the tank. No, no, that he, that would be a tank. No one says the engine at the
end. Yes, they do. No one says engine. Otherwise, he would be a tank. He's not, though. He's a
train. He's a train with a tank engine. Everyone says Thomas the tank. Google it. Actually,
I call him Tom, first name basis. Yeah. It's Thomas a tank. Engine. No one says engine.
It's, oh yeah, they changes the Thomas and friends. Literally the Wikipedia articles.
says Thomas the Tank Engine.
Like colloquially, everyone just says
Thomas the Tank.
No, they don't.
Maybe up, maybe up in the north,
but, you know, in the south where we...
Oh, no, right, it's Thomas the Tank!
Where we spoke the Queen's English,
we refer to him as Thomas the Tank Engine.
Actually.
Fuck. No, I swear.
Am I crazy?
Yeah, because he's definitely not a tank.
He's a fucking tank.
He's a train.
He's built like a fucking tank.
Look at him, bro.
Did you all have to read the same books as kids as well?
Okay, I'm gonna name, I'm gonna name out some stories.
I don't wanna know if we had the same experience.
All right. Hungry, hungry caterpillar.
Of course. Okay, is that a classic? Yeah.
Oh, something about the rainbow fish and like the scale.
Yeah. You did have to read that? Yeah.
You didn't have this? I had the pop-out book on that big.
Oh, yes, yes.
What book is this?
The rainbow fish, niigiro no, I had the Japanese one.
Oh, it's so big, it's Japanese.
Yeah, it was huge in Japan.
Okay.
Yeah!
The rainbow fish!
Yeah, I had this in Japanese.
I read the Gruffalo.
The Groffalo?
You probably know this book, no?
I had a lot of like,
Roll doll.
Yeah, me too. The Gruffalo.
No, the BFG was my favorite.
This guy.
What the fuck?
You've read this?
I never read.
No.
I read this when I was a kid.
Did you guys have Lazy Town?
Yeah.
No.
The TV show.
Yeah, the one was Sportic.
Yes.
Oh, this is past my time.
Lazy Town and also, what's the other one with the fucking
anthropomorphic animals?
Busy Town.
They're all town names.
Yeah, this one.
Busy Town, I did not have this.
Oh, my God, look at, like, that aesthetic.
So, audio listeners, there's a, the very top one.
Yeah.
To the second one.
The play mat that everyone had.
Yeah.
Everyone had this play.
This is, this reminds me of the play mat.
The play mat.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I don't know how to describe this play mat for you audio, audio listeners,
but if you grew up in the 90s or the 2000s,
every fucking school, every hospital, every kid's place, some arts.
Did everyone have this?
Yeah, everyone had this.
There was a variation of this that was like worldwide.
Yeah.
It's the one where it was a town with a road, grass.
and hospitals and, you know, and you just put your cars and go around.
Yeah.
Did they ever solve the mystery of where, I don't know what the actual name of this is,
what the name of this is, where the millennial S came from?
The one.
You know the one I'm talking about.
The S.
The Mennial.
S.
I know about the millennial.
Oh, the fucking that one?
Yes, yes.
What's it called?
Can you search up?
The millennial S.
Yeah.
The cool S.
Cool is.
Also known as Stasi S, Super S, Superman S.
Oh, it's a Stozy's?
Stozy is a clothing.
Geometry textbooks in 1970.
Oh.
I know I'm about the millennial paws and millennial gray.
Yeah.
Millennial gray?
Yeah, millennial gray.
I've never heard of millennial gray.
Millennial gray is the concept that like every single house now that is made by millennials
is the same color like gray.
gray inside. Like every listing from house is just gray inside. I've been millennial gray.
Yeah. You'll see what I mean. You'll know what I mean. It's like every house looks like this now
inside. Oh. Yeah. Okay. It's all the same type of gray. Yeah. Yeah. It's all like minimalism now.
Because you know, you can sell houses easier. I mean, I just look at this and I'm like, this is just
IKEA. This is, this is peak just here. I'm just going to buy all my furniture from IKEA.
And that's pretty much here.
This is A I did my interior design.
Yeah, pretty much.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But yeah.
Again, whimsy, bro.
It's gone.
Look at that.
No whimsy in that.
But yeah, the Stasi S was, I feel like that must be one of the first memes.
Because I don't know how this before the age of the internet, somehow so many, so many countries and so many different places just had this in their childhood.
Yeah.
Right?
Yeah.
How did you, because you guys had the S as well, right?
Yeah.
How did we all have it?
I don't know.
Because we had it in Australia as well.
Yeah.
On the other side of the fucking planet.
I'm pretty sure people had it in America as well.
I don't know why people would just doodle it.
Right?
I just see people do it.
It's so easy to draw.
Yeah.
You could do it in a math book.
Yeah.
It's so easy to do in a math book.
That's true.
That's true.
You know, you'd use a line like that.
Yeah.
You'd see like your desks or whatever.
Similar designs have been used for the yes,
identified as early as 1890.
Damn.
The exact origins of the symbol is unclear.
It's like the origin of like graffiti.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Wait, what the fuck is this?
However, it is considered to be an artifact of child law.
What the fuck is child law?
Why is there a Wikipedia page for child law?
Hold on.
Let's have a look.
Click the Wikipedia.
Yeah, yeah.
What the fuck is child law?
is a folk law or folk culture that is learned and passed on by children to other children.
Oh.
Interesting.
Wait, what are the child laws are there?
So we've got the coolest.
Cooties.
Cooties?
Yeah, I guess where do cooties come from?
I assumed that was an American thing.
What is the Circle game?
Oh, the Circle game.
To audio listeners, it's the game where you put your...
finger in a circle.
It's the okay.
On your, like, pants.
But it has to be under the belt.
Has to be under the belt.
Has to be under the belt.
And then I say, look at it, you have to punch on.
Did you have a game in which you saw a car of some sort?
Red car?
No, it was yellow car.
Oh, it was red for us.
Well, it was red for you.
But there's so many more red cars than yellow cars.
Yeah, that's why it makes more fun.
No, yellow cars is a lot of rarer.
Zoom retention spree.
Yeah, no, red cars was just, it was fun because you'd see so many red cars and just be punching shit out each other.
All cars are great.
All cars are gray or black now.
We can't even play the car game anymore.
That's how much whimsy we lost.
There's more colored cars, but generally speaking,
they're all like black or gray now.
So I found out in Wisconsin, it's a punch buggy.
That was their equivalent of yellow car.
Punch buggy. Yeah, yeah, I know that name.
So, so if you see a car that is, what's like the...
A buggy?
Like a buggy, I guess. I was thinking about the beetle.
Then you would punch your mate.
on the arm, not in the face.
Yeah, yeah, on the arm.
On the arm.
You also had the same thing
where it was like pinch punch
punch first day of the month or something.
Yes.
Oh, yeah.
We did have that.
Yeah.
A pinch and a punch.
You did a kid was sick.
You just make shit up.
Yeah.
It was exciting.
Any excuse to just hurt your friends.
True, true.
Girl, the imagination we had back then, man.
Yeah, true.
What do kids do now?
Do they have any?
Bluey?
Do Gen Alpha kids have any kind of?
Blue is pretty goaded though.
Blue is good.
Blue is good.
You know.
They also have the new Steve from Blue's Clues who's a Filipino.
Is Blue's Clue still popular though?
Yeah.
I don't think it is.
The new Steve is apparently quite popular.
You can't say that anymore.
You can't have fell off.
No, dude, the new Steve is a Filipino.
And he like teaches kids Filipino words.
It's awesome.
Look at them.
That's cool.
What's the name again?
Uh, uh,
I don't remember his name.
Wait, it's over.
Oh, it would end.
Well, never mind.
It was not popular.
Joey, you're two years late, mate.
It's over.
Josh is his name.
It was already over, Joey.
Josh, you need to lock in, brother.
What happened?
He can't anymore.
I know.
You didn't lock in.
Have you seen,
have you seen Aura farm?
battles have become a thing now.
What are you talking about?
You're gonna have to show me this.
You search up aura farm battles on YouTube.
But it's...
What does that mean?
Like, whoever has the most aura wins?
It's basically just imagine a rap battle.
Yeah.
But instead of people...
But they just stand there.
But instead of guys, instead of like kids dissing each other based on how sick their flow is, they just...
They just try to aura farm against each other.
And essentially, it's just hitting a bunch of emotes.
Oh, I see. Okay.
Sorry.
I mean, what is going on?
The audio listeners, Gantt is playing a video,
and it's a bunch of people just doing Fortnite emotes in public.
Yeah, with a big crowd watching them.
You know, back in my day, we used to throw punch.
I feel like we need to bring that back.
Yeah, this, no.
I don't know if I,
what am I looking at?
What is you, what are kids doing, dude?
To be fair, I think it just shows how much meme culture
because all of this is just like,
it's just different kids enacting
like ironic memes to each other,
I guess.
Yeah.
So it just shows that.
Well, at least they're outside.
Yeah, at least they're outside.
At least they're...
I'd rather them do this than Doom Scroll.
Yeah, at least they're with other people, you know.
At least this is a social event.
Sure, back in the day, you know...
You guys giving them too much of the benefit.
Oh, no, I think this is better than being inside Doomstroll.
Yeah, yeah.
I guess, uh...
It looks like they're having fun.
Yeah.
That's the important thing.
That is, that is a bit of whimsy right there.
There's a bit of laughs going on.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There is a bit of whimsy right, you know what, you're right.
You're right.
I can't be an angry old man.
Yeah.
They haven't, you know, they haven't started drinking yet.
That's true.
You know, life will get more interesting.
Yeah, they'll start drinking and then they'll look back on these views and they'll be like,
I'm sure they're fond memories of the time they hit the six, seven.
Yeah.
They hit the six seven.
You remember that time I mugged you at school?
Yeah.
Yeah, wow.
Oh, well.
That was so skibbitty.
Let us know if you're going to aura farm battle in public viewers.
Yeah.
If we should do one.
If I catch my son doing that shit, he's getting the back of my hand.
It's only amount of time before we get professional aura farming battles.
If this comes a big enough meat.
Let's get it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, that's trash taste.
Hey, look at all these patrons, though.
Look at all them.
