Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another episode of the Trash Taste Podcast, where I'm once again joined by the boys, Joey, and Gant. And today is a very special episode because we're crazy. I mean, you guys, you guys do that anyway.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Today, we're doing a little bit of a rehash because we had quite a lot of fun we did this last time. We did the dumbest conspiracy theories. We're reviewing them. Most of them were doing a media-centered, like TV shows, games, and discussing the validity of the conspiracy theory. And whether we believe them or not. Yeah. Do you believe in conspiracy theories, Jay?
Starting point is 00:01:44 Very loaded question. Did you cut your hair? I did you cut my hair? Oh, nice haircut. Did you cut your hair yesterday? First of all, I didn't cut it yesterday. It was cut yesterday. It was already cut.
Starting point is 00:01:55 See, bad friend. Did I not immediately notice? He clocked me right away. Fuck, I'm a bad friend. The moment he came. came in yesterday, I hit him with the, I like it, cut g-jee. Oh, bad friend.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Oh, I need to be more observant, man. I cut my hair. I was like, I noticed something different, but I can't, can't put my finger on it. Yeah, because my hair's not staying up, because it's too short. He's exactly the same as he was yesterday. Do you not look at me?
Starting point is 00:02:20 Do you not look at me when we were caught? I do, I was like, damn, I can't put my finger on it. I was like, I finally talked to. Did I have a kayak? Yeah. I was also wearing the same shirt. I did notice that. I did notice that.
Starting point is 00:02:31 It's a different. shirt though. No, it's not. It's actually it's a different one. Speaking of our first conspiracy, yeah. This actually is, I have two of these. Why? Well, because they're my merch. Yeah, but... The dragon, isn't it? Yeah, I know that, but why?
Starting point is 00:02:47 What do you mean, why what? I don't have two of the same shirt. It's a nice shirt. I would want to. Okay. I have 30 of the trash taste one. They're not all in rotation. R&B movie. Is your, is your wardrobe just like a... No, no, no. I only have like
Starting point is 00:03:02 three or four in rotation at a time. Okay, that's... Until I, like... That's completely, like, ruined. Yeah. Until I, like, wear them out. Basically, he's thinking ahead so that he can wear that shirt
Starting point is 00:03:11 for the rest of his life. Right. So I have, like, 30, and I think I go through, like, one every... I have to take one out every, like, four months, six months. Really? The fuck are you doing these shirts, bro?
Starting point is 00:03:23 I wear them a lot, okay. When you wear three shirts and you wear them pretty much every week, and then you're washing them every week. I get fucked up. I guess so. They're not sure.
Starting point is 00:03:32 I mean, they last a while, but a t-shirt gonna go through so much. I mean, yeah, yes. Anyway, sorry, I got distracted. What are we doing today, Connor? Today we are doing conspiracy theories. Yes. He's already explained him. But I mean, this isn't the same as the last conspiracy theory episodes that we've done.
Starting point is 00:03:50 We've, I guess, expanded it out to just theories based on- No conspiracies. No conspiracies. There might be conspiracies, but based on maybe games, video games. We went to games because last time we did this, we had to like cut half the conspiracy theories. I was like, guys, this is just like another anti-Semitic, weird conspiracy.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Yeah, this is like some Q&O shit. But it would always start out so inoculus. You'd be like, I think the grass is actually blue. And you'd be like, okay. And then it'd be like, the Jews are controlling them. It's like, what the fuck is this? Conspiracy theory. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:25 If you look in long enough to all of them. Yeah, that is sure. So today we'll see if Jar Jar Jha Banks has any ties. Before we start the official list, one of my favorite recent conspiracy theories, that one, I went to, favorite. One of my, one of the most interesting conspiracy theories recently I've heard. Yeah. Have you heard about this one? It's not on this list that our producers prepared for us. Yeah. Is that Jeffrey Epstein is still alive on playing Fortnite.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Wait, what? Have you heard about this conspiracy theory? What? Have you heard about this? No. What the fuck you're talking about? I just want to open, I just wanted to open up on a banger. All right. So. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:09 So, okay. Jeff Lee Epstein is not actually alive and played for, every game set, which is, that's what they would want us to think. So here's, here's the, here's the lowdown. Okay. So this is great. Wait, they had to address. They had to address this officially.
Starting point is 00:05:27 What? So there was a YouTube. channel that was run by Jeffrey Epstein, right? Like, username Jeffrey Epstein? No, no, no. It was confirmed to be run by Jeffrey Epstein. Oh, famous. Famous. Famous. Yeah, the first time left to wind down by going on Fortnite.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Yes. So this YouTube channel had a very unique username. It wasn't like Jeffrey Epstein, one, two, three, or fucking, I like, I fuck children or whatever. I don't fucking know. It was just like a random assortment of like numbers and letters, right? Okay. And it's apparently that username was also linked to a Fortnite account. Right. And this Fortnite account was made before, you know, before his death.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Right. And it was confirmed that some, someone confirmed that this Fortnite account was still active after his death. So people were theorizing that he was still alive. That's your username, little as Jeff one. Louis Jeff one. Wait, so we, for some reason, knew Jeffrey Epstein had a Fortnite account. And we knew what his name was.
Starting point is 00:06:35 So that's confirmed that he has a Fortnite account. Was he on Fortnite Friday? How do we know this? I don't know. I'm just, but, you know, it obviously got big enough that Fortnite needed to address it officially, which just, you know, when... Stoke the flame.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Yeah, you know, which, like, turn it from a fan theory to, wait, Epic games are getting involved in. Wait, is this an... Big Games cover up. You know what? You know, I wasn't a boliva. And then Epic games came along and they're like, why do you think they are invested enough to let the public know?
Starting point is 00:07:07 This is like that theory that, Kim Jong-un has like a Steam account. Oh, I have heard that one. Because there's always like, occasionally there's someone active on a VPN assigned to North Korea on Steam. Like, and there's only one way you can do that. There's only one person. There's only one person who would be allowed to have a Steam account.
Starting point is 00:07:32 But hey, you heard it here on Trash Tastes first. Do you believe it? Do I believe it? You know what? I thought it was a crazy fan theory, until Epic Games came out and said, you know, just to confirm, just to doubly confirm, hey, official Fortnite here,
Starting point is 00:07:47 this was a ruse by a Fortnite player. This is like some shit you'd hear about in a South Park episode. Yeah. Like, I feel bad for South Park, because they're, like, running out of, of like absurdish material to use. They're like, fuck, we wanted to take that. Kyle, I know Epstein is alive,
Starting point is 00:08:03 I saw him playing Fortnite. And he's like, shut the fuck up. I ca-oed him yesterday. Jeffrey Epstein is not alive playing Fortnite, Cartman, no, man, he is. Yeah, was he, was he good? Check his account, check his account. What's his win to lose?
Starting point is 00:08:21 Can we search up? Is there like a Jeffrey Epstein account, stats that we can see? Yeah. Yeah, what is actually the four, what is the full? Let's see his KDA. Yeah, I want to see his KDA.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Fortnite's little. Here we go. Okay, when is he lost online? He was, okay. Oh, it's private. Oh, it's all private now. Very convenient. Very convenient.
Starting point is 00:08:42 That means he was at her. No. Very, very. Is there a way back machine? I need to know. His stats go viral. Well, let's have a look. Let's have a look at his stats.
Starting point is 00:08:53 His profile, oh, I just saw it. His profile, hold on. scroll out. He says, uh, his profile shows he ranked Silver one in Chapter 5 season one. So, silver one, bro. Damn. Actual. Get good, Jeffrey. Yeah, which was after his death. Damn. Come on. How many V-Buch? He shows he purchased V-Box. I fucking bet he did. I fucking met he purchased V-Buc. Was it, uh, actually Jeffrey Epstein playing or was it, uh, whoever was, uh, whoever he invited to him-huh. I need a lawn of this money into V-box.
Starting point is 00:09:24 That was a real cover up. That was a real cover up. Someone checked the paper trail. It all leads back to V-Bucks. How many V-Bucks did he purchase? Yeah, I'm so good. What is the actual full statement from Fortnite? I want to know what...
Starting point is 00:09:38 What was the name of that website, Hindustan Time? Yeah. So I said, hey, official Fortnite here. This was a ruse by a Fortnite player. A few days ago, an existing Fortnite account owner changed their username from something totally unrelated to Little Jeff One, following the revelation of littlest Jeff One as an on YouTube. These 4-9 trackers only display your current name, blah, blah, blah. We have no record of the
Starting point is 00:09:58 subject's email addresses referenced in the public document existing in the epic account system. This is the public document releases. People have created 4-9 accounts with similar-looking email addresses and usernames. I don't know, man. I don't know. Tinfoil ad is going on, I will say. Can you change your account name that's easily? I don't know. On Steam, you can. Yeah, this is a fortnight, you know? This is a fortnight, I don't know. I assume it's easy as well. Yeah. But very convenient. But yeah, that was the, that was the conspiracy theory I thought we'd open up to.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Do you believe, is it like a conspiracy theory? Like you, like, not memes, like you wholeheartedly believe. Like, you're like, genuinely, you're like, it doesn't even have to be crazy. Like, but there's something that you wholeheartedly are like, I will die on this hill. I'm not sure. There's not ones that I believe, but there are ones that I'd like the idea of. And it would be cool. I mean like fully, you're like, no, no, no, I believe this.
Starting point is 00:10:52 For me, my conspiracy theories, I am like convinced in my head. And I know this is I have literally no evidence or nothing to prove this. I'm convinced that they, GTA 6 has been done for ages. And they're just, GTA 5 just makes so much money that they're like, they're like, nah, we can wait. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised. That's what I think. Right?
Starting point is 00:11:12 I feel like it's true. Why? Because I don't know. I just feel like 5 makes so much money that they're not in a rush for 6. Yeah, because maybe they think that the moment they release 6 then like, five dies, right? And all that money generated. They make so much money stuff from five.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Because people buy the fucking online currency. I mean, why do you think they never made a Minecraft too? Okay, well, okay, okay. Well, hold up a second. Hold up that, yeah. Hold up, Joey. Yeah. Full tin-four hat.
Starting point is 00:11:40 I don't fully believe this, but I wouldn't be surprised. There's probably some big disease out there that's probably been cured somewhere, you know? Oh, you mean like, we, we're like, they're hiding it from us? Or like we haven't like fully. I don't know. I mean, there's that common theory that like we've actually already figured out the killed of cancer and they're just hiding it from them.
Starting point is 00:12:00 Yeah, I'm not sure about that. I'm not sure about that. Who says this? Tell me who told you this. The fucking privately owned like fucking health departments in America. They're just like, no, if we do that, then all our monies are like. Just follow the money, Connor. Just follow the money.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Yeah. There's too much money being made from people dying. You know, you know why I don't, I don't believe that because they make so much money, charging you to like, you know, they're not ashamed about charging you a crazy amount because they would probably be like, well, you can have the one-time cancer cure. It's 500 grand. Yeah. That's a, that's a steal. Yeah, I take that. That's like, that's like, false people here under debt. They would be ashamed about it. I mean, they're already doing that anyway. Yeah. I'm saying. That's why I don't think they, it doesn't make sense. They'd hide it
Starting point is 00:12:43 because they're like, we can make so much money off of this. Let's, let's get us all the more lighthearted show. Yeah. Let's, let's do that. This is getting heavy. All right. So Epstein. Jar Jar Binks was originally a Sith lord. I've heard this one a lot. This is a pretty famous one.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Right. So we have a list of evidence, apparently. Okay, so the evidence that Jaja was originally a Sith lord, he was the secret Sith mastermind before fan backlash changed the plan. So it was the fan base that changed that shit? Not George Lucas? All right. So the evidence states that Jaja performs suspiciously acrobatic movements during battle,
Starting point is 00:13:20 which he does. That's true. He rises to enormous political influence despite appearing incompetent. Well, okay. He convinces the Senate to Grant Palpatine emergency powers. Is it him who convinces that? I don't remember, to be honest. I don't recall the movie well.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Certain scenes resemble force user hand gestures, and George Lucas previously used the full hides genius archetype with Yoda. I don't know, man. I just think this is Star Wars fans wishing. I think this is Star Wars fans just hoping to make jobs. Gaja being a more interesting character than he actually is. This is just peak meme material, but it does raise an interesting question. I believe it. Because why do you believe it?
Starting point is 00:13:59 Why? So, really, what interesting question? It says here that George Lucas originally intended for Gajar to be a secret Sith mastermind before fan backlash changed the plans. How often do you think, like, writers and studios change the original plans of works based on, like, fan backlash or fan feedback? Sonic movie. Probably more than we've realized, but probably rarely, is it ever admitted.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Yeah. Probably quite a lot. It's interesting because I, like, I saw, I saw this interview with Vince Gilligan, obviously, right, a Breaking Bad writer. And, you know, Breaking Bad seems like the poster child of everything was planned to the T. Everything matters. And so, you know, as someone who was like trying to study up on screenwriting, I was like, looking up a lot of his interviews and trying to find as much resources as possible.
Starting point is 00:14:50 as much resources as possible. And he mentioned that in the final season, I won't go into specific spoilers, Joey. Sure. But there was, he wrote, like, one of the first episode of the final season to include, like, a gun in it. And he was like, and, you know,
Starting point is 00:15:09 you know the way the gun pays off. I'm like, okay, this is brilliant, brilliant foreshadowing. Apparently, he just fucking put it in there. And he was like, I don't know what to do with this. And he's like, during the entire writing process, he was like, shit, uh, why did our Walter, why put the gun in the car? Probably got to figure that out, right?
Starting point is 00:15:30 And I'm like, shit, you didn't have this pre-planned, but it paid off so perfectly. How the fuck did you know what's going on? Why would you just put a gun in there? The process of like filling in the plot hole just ended up being an amazing plot. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, it's, I think Georgia R. Martin talks about this a lot. There's like the, there's like the architect versus like the, uh, What's the other way?
Starting point is 00:15:51 It's like planter. Planter versus architects. That's it, right? Yeah. Yeah. The two types of writers. Yeah. You know, people who perfectly plan everything out.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Mm. Versus people who kind of go along and kind of, you know, go with it. But I mean, you, I do think that when you're working on like a movie or a TV show where it's so collaborative and you have actors, like you kind of should be open to changing. Yeah. As a writer, because you're like, oh, well, hold on now. This actor's doing something that I didn't even consider as possible with this character. that's really interesting.
Starting point is 00:16:21 I mean, that's why they're like, Jesse was supposed to... First of dying. He was supposed to die. Yeah, he really liked him. Yeah, yeah, actually, that's true. I forgot about that. So it's, yeah, I think...
Starting point is 00:16:32 I mean, you could change for the better and for the worse. Oh, most certainly, it can change for the worst. I feel like, is this... I'm not sure if this is confirmed, but I'm pretty sure the new Star Wars sequels was like their original plan versus that what actually played out
Starting point is 00:16:46 in the final story was like changed because... They changed directors and the second movie, kind of like changed the trajectory. And then the third movie, which I haven't even seen yet, was... Well, nobody has said a single good thing about that second or third movie. I've not seen episode seven, eight or nine. I just haven't even been... I've not even watched the original trilogy.
Starting point is 00:17:06 You've never seen the original Star Wars trilogy? No, only the prequels. Brother. Damn. Brother. You have to. Why do I have to? Because it's fucking awesome. I played the Lego games.

Starting point is 00:18:08 Visit alienware.ca. slash alienware 15 today. Oh, okay, yeah. Oh, I'm sorry, they don't peek now? No, I never said they were. But it's not the fucking equivalence of watching the movies. I think you'll find it is. All right. Describe, describe the movie trilogy. Through the Lego?
Starting point is 00:18:28 Through the Lego. Through the Lego. Yeah. Through my memory of the Lego games. Yeah. Yeah. Go on. Go on. Okay. Well, I remember that we started off. Wait, no, that's the prequels.
Starting point is 00:18:41 I was going to say, we went to like the desert. Yeah. But they go to the desert and the other one, too. They start off with the desert. Yeah. Yeah. Which one? Well, Obi-1 Canobi finds Luke. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Right? And then he's like, shit, bro. You shouldn't be a Jedi. But then he's like, nah, I want to be a Jedi. And his mom's like, no, I don't do it. And then he's like, I'll do it. And then I recall not much happening. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:19:05 And then he dies. I won't say, who's he? Well, I guess it's fine. It's fine to spoil it now. It's been Obi-Wan. Bro. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:13 It's like a 50-year-old movie. It's weird that I care about that sometimes. Everyone dies. Yeah. And then the second movie, Empire Strikes Back. Yeah. I don't remember much, but I remember Darth Vader won a lot of things. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:29 And then the third movie, Darth Vader dies. That's what I remember. Brother. You did not need to play the Lego games to recite that. Yeah. Like 30 seconds on the Wikipedia would have given you the exact same results. I don't remember. Just watch the movies, bro. They're good.
Starting point is 00:19:50 I will, maybe I'll see... You need to, bro. You have to. Especially if you've seen the episode one to three. You've got to watch four to six. No, but the prequals are so good. Jaja's sick. The original Sith Lord? The original...
Starting point is 00:20:04 I believe it because I think that it's more fun. Yeah, because I think, you know, Jar Jha Binks is, you know, obviously now, you know, known as kind of the comedic relief in especially the first couple of movies. right, which is fine, I guess, you know, you needed that little whimsy, I guess, to make the Star Wars universe feel more, you know, fun and, you know, alive. But like, yeah, I just think, what I don't understand, right, is that, like, is Jarja Bing's liked as a character among actual
Starting point is 00:20:31 fans? I think initially very much hated. Yeah, he was very, very hated. Yeah, he was, like, one of the most hated characters. I think people like him now, in retrospective, but I still think people see it as a departure and tone of the series having him there. Yeah, he was very much a comic relief, almost like a lunaticoons character, you know, when he came out and, you know, now... George Lucas is like a tech nerd. Like, he, I think he was just really excited about
Starting point is 00:20:56 the possibilities of what all the new tech was for that movie. Yeah. I think that was like a big motion capture, right? At the time, I think. Yeah, I mean, a lot of the prequels was shot on like just green screen, you know, which wasn't usually done in movies back then.
Starting point is 00:21:14 But Star Wars really pushed the tech when it came out and now we look at it and we're like fucking green screen really come on come on brother oh yeah there you said he added jar jar to as a comic relief for younger audiences and to serve as a driving force for CGI
Starting point is 00:21:30 yeah yeah he's always been kind of a nerd for like trying to incorporate new tech I mean it was what's the company called that has still loads of the effect the lighting industrial light magic yeah industrial light magic isn't it that was
Starting point is 00:21:45 a, I think that was a Lucas film company or something at times. I'm not sure if it was. Yeah, George Lucas. Okay. Yeah, he was very much big into, I think, the tech behind everything and driving it. So it's obviously he's very passionate about it. And that's obviously why Jar Jar was made. But, you know.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Yeah, I mean, kid me like Jar Jar. I love Jarja. Yeah, kid me love Jarja. It worked for the... Every kid, like, tried to do the fucking Jarja voice. one point in that line. Yeah, because when I was a kid, I watched it. I watched the first one on VHS, but then the second and third I watched in the movies.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Because my cousin was a huge nerd, and, you know, he's like 10 years old of them, 15 or 20 years old than me. So he took me. And I remember being like, ungodly bored during the political scenes. I was like, bro, when is Jarja back? Yeah. Bring back the pod racing, bro. Yeah, pod racing was sick.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Darth Vader was sick. I was like, do you really die? That's such. And then they would get like them. the Natalie Portman scenes where she just talks with the council and I was like, wake me up when Jarja's back. And now you're just like, damn, the politics, man. Yeah. Yeah. Now those scenes are fired. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, as a kid, you could, I wanted to understand about this Jarja theory is that like, go back to the document.
Starting point is 00:23:05 What I don't I understand about this Jaja theory is that, okay, so George Lucas wanted Jaja to be a Sith mastermind before fan backlash? What was the fan backlash? Because, Bro, people hated him. Yeah, I know, but I think, like, I think people hated him because he was just this, like, dumb comic relief character. Yeah, it just wasn't there in the original, like, in the original trilogy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Nothing as wacky or as weird as him. Yeah, so I don't know. Like, maybe, maybe this is just, like, my view on things, but, like, if there was a character in, like, a movie that I was like, okay, this character is clearly just there as a comic relief, just, like, be dumb, you know, find some jokes. And then I found out that, oh, actually, no, that was all just a farce. And he's actually a much more, like, deep and interesting character that has significance to the story.
Starting point is 00:23:54 I would welcome that. Well, I didn't get that, though. Yeah, I know. Because of the fan backlash, right? He just ended up becoming a dumb, that's a funny character. Yeah, that's a theory. And also, you know, even though George Lucas made Star Wars, I'm sure he had pressure from the studios to go with what audiences say. It's like, you're not going to make this Mesa saying, yeah, so.
Starting point is 00:24:15 fucking Sith. Yeah, it's, it's interesting to see just how many times films just change their endings or change their plot lines because audiences didn't like it. Like, have you heard about the ending of, uh, what's that Will Smith film? Uh, I'm legend. Oh yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. It's completely different from the book. Yeah, they had to change the ending, uh, because in the test screening, uh, audiences thought the ending was too sad. Oh. Yeah. Can you, can you, can you go with this guy? Well, that's fine. Yeah. This can be sure. I mean, I actually recently read the original book of I Am Legend and I found out that it is nothing like the movie. Yeah, after test, after test, what do you says, booed the original finale.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Really? Because the original, so this is like kind of like, I'm just gonna fucking spoil the ending, whatever. The original ending, right? Because it's like kind of like a zombie movie, right? And Will Smith is fighting these monsters. Yes. We find out in the original ending that Will Smith was the real monster for kidnapping one of the female zombies and everyone was attacking him because they
Starting point is 00:25:23 were trying to save this person, this, this zombie that they had kidnapped. And he realized, oh shit, they were attacking me just because I had kidnapped one of their species, right? Yes. And that's actually how the book ends. Yeah. That's a cool ending. I think that's a cool ending. Yeah. The whole idea of the title, I Am Legend in the original book is that, yeah, the main character realizes the entire book is like there to be like, it's me, the one lone survivor versus this hoard of. In the original book, it was vampires instead of zombies. And so it's like, I'm the last one. I am the legend of like, you know, the last surviving person or whatever.
Starting point is 00:26:00 But then as the book goes on, you slowly start to realize that, oh, maybe the vampires are actually in the right because now they're the majority. And there's this insane human lunatic that is going around killing our species. So now I have become the the monster or the legend. And yeah, and that original book ending is fucking brilliant because it completely flips the title on his head, right? So yeah, now that, now that I know that. Then we were really robbed of something.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's amazing. Yeah, because I remember watching the film and it was just like the ending was like generic main guy sacrifices himself. Yeah. And that's it. Also, you know the dog that appears in I Am Legend? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Barely makes an appearance in the book. Oh, really? It's like 15 pages of this dog. shows up and that's it. The entire time it's just the one guy. To be fair, he's a good boy. He's a good boy.
Starting point is 00:26:48 He's a good boy. I'll allow that change. I'll allow that change. Give us more of the dog. These like genres back in like, when was this like early 2010s or late 2000s? Where like just peak fucking good guy always wins. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:05 It was always just like, oh, I roll. It's like, come on man. Give us a sad ending. It's fine. Will Smith was like the poster boy of those types of movies, to be honest. Which your favorite sad ending? I'm trying to think of like different...
Starting point is 00:27:17 It's so rare when you have an ending that is literally just sad, you know? And are we talking like in movies and shit? In anything. I'm trying to think of like my favorite sad endings that kind of like shocked me. I mean, for me, it's like, Oursomey Poonpin's ending is fucking gay sad. Well, that was just a sad everything. Yeah, but the ending of Oursimmy Pumpton is sad because it's like, it's incredibly sad, but there's like this tiny bit of hope at the end.
Starting point is 00:27:43 end as well. But just because you are shown that tiny bit of hope, it just accentuates the sadness even more. Yeah. Because it's like, oh yeah, it's like, because if it was all just like fucking doom and gloom 100%, then it would almost be overkill. Yeah. In a sense. But like, because you see that tiny bit of hope is just like, oh man, what the fuck? This is, this fucked. Like, don't, don't tease me with that tiny bit of hope. I still need to read it, man. I still need to read it. You got to read it. This is my favorite manga for a reason. One that sticks out to my mind when I watched as a kid was the first time I watched this Nicholas Cage film that probably no one remembers, but it was called Knowing. Okay. I don't know this one. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:28:24 yeah. That's, and even just that, having a sad ending, that really, it really stuck with me. Yeah, I feel like sad endings are a lot more powerful, you know, when you don't see everything resolved the way you think is going to be resolved. I think you're responsible for like 50% of the traffic of this movie in the modern movie. Yeah, I mean, this is, this is... You think about this film a lot. I do, because I watched it when I was a kid, and it was the first time I was like,
Starting point is 00:28:51 this was like peak DVD movie, you know? Oh, yeah, oh, yeah. Back when you'd go to, like, the store and they'd have, like, DVDs for, like, three or four quid. Yeah, fuck it, I'll get it. Yeah, like, I was bringing a movie back. Yeah, and I think it just scarred me as a kid because it was the first time I was like,
Starting point is 00:29:08 damn. What the fuck? People, things don't get soft. People die? Eternal Sunshine and Spotless Minds another one for me. Is that a sad ending? It's more like a melancholic ending, I would say. But it's pretty fucking sad.
Starting point is 00:29:25 I can't remember off the top of my head, to be honest with you. End of Viva. That was pretty sad. That was a traumatic ending. Yeah. Yeah, my God. True. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Lots of good endings. Lots of good ending. So... You see the next one? One, Peter Pan is the angel of death. What? Oh, Peter Pan doesn't take children to adventures. He guides dead children into the afterlife.
Starting point is 00:29:51 I've never heard of this. The only versions of Peter Pan describe him escorting dead children, really. Children never age in Neverland. Neverland feels disconnected from reality and time. Peter arrives when children are leaving their all lives behind. Hmm. Interesting. It's possible. I mean, stories were just, we did just write way darker stories back then.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Generally speaking. Yes. When you read older stories. We weren't afraid to show darker, more contentious things. Have we gone soft? Like us? Or like society? Society, trouble.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Yeah, whenever you do read an old thing, you're like, damn, this feels old, because they'll be, like, pretty jarring with, like, how dark it'll be. Yeah. Well, they're definitely not afraid to, like, show you confronting material. But I guess death was just a more common reality back then. When was Peter Pan written?
Starting point is 00:30:40 It's pretty old, I think. Early 19. Like the original Peter Pan. 1902, damn. I mean, yeah, like, it's the same thing with like Allison Wonderland, right? Like, that original book is darkest shit. How old is Peter Pan? What's his... Like,
Starting point is 00:30:57 the character? Yeah. 10? No. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. How old is? It's centuries old, but he never grows up. Damn, he's the original. No. Officer, no, he's actually a hundred Yeah, so I'm actually based. Peter Pan is hundreds of years old.
Starting point is 00:31:17 Legal law. Legal showtow. I think he's meant to be like a 12 year old. Like that was like the vibe they're going for. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I guess it doesn't really, I mean, he's obviously the whole idea of Peter Pan is that he is physically older than he is mentally, right?
Starting point is 00:31:34 Like that was that whole idea of, you know. Physically older or? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like inside, like he's more childish than his actual physical age. Like that's the whole idea of Peter Pan, right? Right. Um, so I guess it doesn't really matter how old he is because he inside he's like a fucking eight year old. Yeah, we found patient zero, man. We found, we have found patient zero. Look back to the entire history. Shadow Walt Disney.
Starting point is 00:32:01 You started a revolution. He was the OG man right there. Uh, no, I mean, um, chronic, in the overarching law, I don't know much about Peter Pan outside of just the original film, which I watched as a kid. So I don't really remember much about it. I don't think I've watched this for like 10. Yeah. I mean, I know like the basic story beats, I guess. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:28 I didn't know that. Tell me the story then, Jerry. Just like, you made me do Star Wars. Peter Pan fucking flies into a window and goes like, hey, kids. Don't add my Fortnite account, unless Jeff won. I see you're all playing Fortnite in here. Do you mind if I join in? No, he's like, you know, he's like,
Starting point is 00:32:47 hey, you want to go on an adventure where you never have to grow up because these kids are afraid of growing up, whatever. Takes them to this place called Neverland where children never grow up, children never age. They get to live in the comfort of childlike wonder for the rest of their lives. And then Wendy, I think the main girl's name was, if I remember correctly,
Starting point is 00:33:07 it starts to be like, hang on a second. This ain't all. this ain't all he's scoffed up to be. And then fucking Captain Hook shows up and he's just like, yeah, I'm a kill Peter because he's kind of a... He's abducting children. I mean, I don't rightly so.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Yeah, yeah. You got a 100 year old... Another theory. Captain Hook is actually the good guy. You got a hundred year old boy child who is kidnapping children to his... Where is he taken to?
Starting point is 00:33:34 An island, maybe? Neverland. And then an interesting code name. Is Peter Pan your real name? Michael. And Captain Hook is the bad guy for wanting to stop this? Yeah, Captain Hook is the fucking feds. Oh, he wants some accountability, and suddenly he's the bad guy.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Yeah, suddenly. He is a disabled man trying to save these children. Oh, my God. I like to believe this theory, but I don't know. I like to believe this theory purely just basically. on the time period that Peter Pan was written in. Because again, it's like, you know, kind of, again, going back to like the whole Alice in Wonderland thing, right?
Starting point is 00:34:17 Like, the original book is incredibly dark and is a euphemism for a lot of like different, very confronting things that Alice goes through, which of course, when it got adapted into an animation, they showed little signs of it, but they obviously, you know, very much Disney-fied it. So, yeah, I like to believe this is cool. Like that, it kind of adds like a whole new angle
Starting point is 00:34:39 on the Peter Pan's story. I feel. Would you have taken Peter Pan on his offer? Comes to your window? Dude. Dude, hell yeah. If a fully green clothed twink flew into my window and was just like, hey, let's go on an adventure. I'll be like, get away from it. I would say, yeah, man. Fuck no. It's a C. Dogg-V.A. video. I spent 24 hours in Neverland. You know, you know, I realized, I was like, yeah, we probably shouldn't have like these impressionable things in this early child media because I just a real I remember like I unlocked a call memory recently where I was thinking about Pinocchio. Oh, Pleasure Island. Yeah. I, you know,
Starting point is 00:35:24 is that the real name? That's the real name of the island they go to. They go to Pleasure Island. They go to Pleasure Island. Okay. Yep. Okay. But I remember that I really wanted to start smoking and drinking because there's a scene where Pinocchio fucking rips some Cubans playing pool. That cigar, yeah. And he's like chugging whiskey. Can we pull it up? Pull it up. Pull it up the scene.
Starting point is 00:35:48 Pinocchio. Audio listeners, we are gonna watch that scene right now. And I guess like that's like the, the like the thing is that like he's meant he's meant to learn that that's bad. Dude, look at that, look at that picture. But dude, is this why you had aura? Dude, he's single ripped that entire cigar. Is this what is saying?
Starting point is 00:36:06 That's why he loves cigars. Pinocchio made me love cigars, dude. This is, uh... He fucking... And then, yeah, then look how he looks disheveled, bro. That's Pete after the fourth eyeball. Yeah. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Damn, bro. Can we shoot the video? Can we see the actual scene? Because he also, like, has, like, the guy's, like, swirling... He's, like, swirling whiskey. Like, yeah, this guy. They make it look so animated. God, it's so well animated as well.
Starting point is 00:36:33 I know. Oh, God. Damn. Like the way he's single rip. Sheesh. Well, he's just, he, he has cancer now. Oh, he swallowed that. He swallowed it.
Starting point is 00:36:47 For Nokia, you don't swallow the ass. That's instant cancel right there. Oh, the animation's so good, man. Start your alienware journey with the streamlined Alienware 15. Starting point is 00:38:01 He is sick in this one. Yeah, he's very sick. He made it look so sick. And then he's like he's like chugging whiskey at some point too. I can't, and like chugging a whole chug of beer. And I remember thinking like, damn, he's kind of, uh, maybe beer, maybe beer it is. The other guy's definitely drinking whiskey, but I think he'd. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he said like the Stein.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Yeah. Turned Pinocchio, aka the pleasure island. Dude, that's how I look at a pub sometimes. Oh my God. Me after I've emptied my sixth beer. Look at him. He's got, he's got cigar in one hand, fucking beer in the other. Roe knows what's up. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 00:38:40 So that shooting me when I was a kid, I was like, damn, dad, can I drink? And he's like, no. I want to be a real boy. I want to do what parochia did. Because at the time, I thought like fucking pool is sick too. And, you know, you never able to play it because you're too small. But, yeah. Yeah, it was cool up until he turned into a donkey.
Starting point is 00:38:57 Well, that part didn't really mind. I thought, I thought that was all right. I would be okay with that. Is you? No. Personally, personally, I'd be okay with it. How'd we go on to this topic? Oh yeah, Peter Pan.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Peter Pan. Yeah. Next one. Next one. Link is dead in Majora's mask. This is like the... This will start from the creepypasta. You're like top five gaming creeppasta theories.
Starting point is 00:39:28 Link dies at the beginning of Majora's mask and the entire game represents this journey through grief and acceptance. the game opens with the link falling into a mysterious abyss. Why is that evidence? I guess because he died in the abyss. The world feels dreamlike and disconnected from Hyrule. The game's themes align closely with the stages of grief.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Transformation masks are associated with dead individuals. Yeah, so like death masks and stuff like that. So that's the theory. You know, I actually somewhat believe this because it actually explains a lot of things that... It explains a lot of questions I had when I played Majora's mask because unlike Ocureen of Time where it's pretty, like cut and dry on like, you know, each stages of the story that you're following.
Starting point is 00:40:08 There's a lot of things in Majora's master that are kind of just weird, but they never fully get explained. And I guess, you know, after that whole, um, what the fuck was that name of that creepy pasta, Ben drowned? Oh yeah, that one was funny. Yeah. You know, Ben Drown? No, no. You know Ben this is, this is one of the most famous, this is one of the most famous video game creepy pastas ever created. Do you know Bend over? Shut the fuck up. Yeah, Ben drowned. It's essentially, yeah, it's like a haunted version of Major... So the whole idea of those creepy pastor is like, this guy finds a fucking rogue copy of Majora's mask that has this file name Ben on it. And it's like a corrupted version of the story and then, yeah, a lot of like creepy shit happens in it.
Starting point is 00:40:54 I've never heard of this one. Really? Yeah, I'm very surprised. I never go into creepy pastors. So that's probably why. Fair enough. Oh, dude, I got very into them when I was like 10 and got very afraid. Yeah, around when Ben Drown came out was when I really was like getting into these.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Do you believe them? Yeah, because I was like 12 when I thought like... Dude, when you watch, if you watch Ben Drown back in the day, you would have been like, oh my God, this game's curse. And I like heard Lavender Town and I like freaked out. Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh my God, I'm going to die. What's Lavender Town?
Starting point is 00:41:24 There was another famous story of the Lavender Town syndrome. Okay, well, here we go. The Lavender Town syndrome. Okay, actually, you can explain it to me. Lavender Town's music caused illness, madness, or sacked among children in Japan, evidence, high-pitched audio frequencies, stories of headache and discomfort. The already creepy atmosphere of Lavender Town. The Lavender Town was the Pokemon Cemetery Town.
Starting point is 00:41:46 Yeah, where the Pokemon Tower is. It's a crazy thing for Nintendo to rip in the OG Pokemon game. But you should listen to the music. Yeah, let me hear the music. It is, you know, you have to imagine your 10, it's late at night. Yeah. You've just read this. By the way, I'm pretty sure this has been debunked already,
Starting point is 00:42:00 but it was a cool theory back in the day. But yeah, just listen to this. And it's, tell me this shit didn't creep you out of 10 years old. Yeah, right? Bad vibes. Oh. Wait.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Right. Oh, I remember this music. There's actually a lot of really interesting theories. Yo, play this at my funeral. Play this shit on my funeral. Oh, the coffin dance. There's actually a lot of interesting theories about Lavender Town.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Like, there's that other theory that Gary Oak, your rival, actually buries his radicate at Lavantown. Have you heard about that one? No. So in the original game, your rival has a ratata and then it evolves into a radicate. Yeah. And he uses it every time you fight him throughout the entire story.
Starting point is 00:42:50 But then when you leave the SSN, which is the last time you fight him, and then you go to Lavender Town and you fight him after that, Radicate is no longer in his party. Yeah. And you actually find him in the Lavender Town Tower. which is like a giant grave site for Pokemon. And he's like standing in front of a gravestone. So it's assumed that he actually buried... The Radicate died and he buried it.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Can Pokemon die? Yeah. Yeah, they're creatures, bro. Yeah, I know, I know. You can't kill them in battle. Can we discuss why one of the tallest structures in the Pokemon canto region is a fucking cemetery? And also, I've never heard of a vertical cemetery
Starting point is 00:43:24 where you, like, bury on like floors. But has... Like, what are they doing? Why do they make... I mean, it takes up less space. Which I think is economical. I think it's economical. But is it a cremation factory?
Starting point is 00:43:38 Are they having a little ash? Well, what is this place? Knowing, knowing Pokemon is a Japanese thing and Cantor is a Japanese region, it's probably, yeah. Like the cremation tower? Probably cremation tower. It's a depressing thing. You're like, oh, fuck, fuck Gerald's on the 12th floor. Fuck me, man. Dude, do you know what? I've never understood.
Starting point is 00:43:53 Yeah. Are ghost Pokemon like dead? Dead. Are they dead Pokemon, or are they Pokemon that looked like ghosts? You know? I think it was like, Haunter is just straight up a ghost. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Haunter is straight up a ghost because you know what the Japanese name of Haunter is? What? Gorsal. I'm not even kidding. Damn. They pulling out the real
Starting point is 00:44:16 deep one, deep cuts right there, man. It goes, gosth, gosto, um, Gengar. They really tried. They tried, bro.
Starting point is 00:44:26 Yeah. Yeah. So, yeah, I don't know. Because, like, I always wondered that as a kid as well. I'm like, How does a ghost faint? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:34 How does a ghost faint? Has there ever been... I don't think about it. I don't think that. Has there ever been a canonical Pokemon death that has been like depicted? I think there has actually in one of the movies, I think?
Starting point is 00:44:51 Has there been a recorded Pokemon death? Bring it up, guys. Bring it up. Yes, several. Cubon's mama. Yeah, Q-Bun's mom. L'Oxray, Ladiost dies in the movie. Yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 00:45:04 That was thinking of Ladioc in the movie. Yeah. Legendary beasts. Yeah, actually, so there's quite a bit. Damn. So that brings up some pretty interesting things because I guess it's confirmed in the Pokemon universe that death isn't, I mean,
Starting point is 00:45:22 death is just a part of the life cycle of Pokemon. Which further, I think, encourages the theory of Gary Oaks eradicate. That means there is a afterlife in the Pokemon universe. Okay, well, what the fuck you? What? No, because ghosts exist, right? Ghost Pokemon exists. So what you're saying is ghost Pokemon
Starting point is 00:45:41 are just previous Pokemon that have come back. Yeah. Right. But you get- That is interesting because there is a theory that Gengar is a doppelganger of a Claferi. Ah, I see it. Exactly the same.
Starting point is 00:45:53 Oh, because they're both fat. They're gonna be fat in the afterlife. Well, it's also because the one Genga comes from the word double ganger. Yeah, they're both like dummy thick, man. Look at that build. Yeah. So it's theorized that like all gangas are actually just previously deceased fucking.
Starting point is 00:46:09 What is the terminology of doppelganger as a word? What does that, what do that come from? Dopplgang. It's a German word, right? Yeah, that sounds German. Yeah. Let's have a look. The word doppelganga is a direct lone word literally meaning double goer.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Double gore meaning goa or walker starting the term character. A spooky apparelment for a ghostly spirit. The word was coined in 1796 by German author John Paul. Do you find the concept of a doppelganger scary? Ah. Well, isn't that, isn't the whole... Do you copy me? Brother, pick someone fucking more interesting.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Is it a pathetic fucking waste of your time? My recent favorite word I learn is when you see someone who looks kind of like you, but a little bit of an uglier version is called a chopper gang. I fucking love that word now. like, yo, he's your chopper. You're such an unusable word in most everywhere. He's like, he kind of looks like me, but like a little bit ugly.
Starting point is 00:47:09 Yo, you're gonna find the one perfect use of that word. Like my life has led to this moment right here. Yeah, I'll be like, hey guys, here's my chopper gang. It's like, bro, what? Dude, that's all our fucking Reddit is, is people are just posting chopl gangers. What is the upgraded version? What if someone's like, you're the chopper ganger?
Starting point is 00:47:25 Yeah, we are the chopper ganger. What if someone's like hotter than you? What if someone's like, your body double-go-hanger. Moggle. Moggle? Moggled-ganger? Moggle-ganger? He did that muggle-ganger,
Starting point is 00:47:40 who's kind of crazy. Isn't the whole theory, and I don't know if this is, like, accurate, isn't the whole theory of, like, double gangers, and the scary thing of a double gangers is that if you meet your own doppelganger, then you die? It's something like that, right? That's like what the, uh...
Starting point is 00:47:55 That's like the original, like, kind of, uh... What's the word, like, like, rumor about doppelgangers, right? Yeah. Is that like, yeah, it brings you bad luck or impending death. Yeah. Because it's like that whole fear of like two of you can't exist the same time. Don't fucking go to India, mate.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Everyone's dying. Okay, okay, let's say, okay, hypothetical question. You meet your doppelganger. Like an actual, like, law accurate doppelganger. Jerk him off. Yeah. Do you trust them? Do you trust your doppelganger?
Starting point is 00:48:28 Depends what he says. What do you mean, Joey? Depends what he says. So. Okay, I ask, I ask, let's play some games. Yeah. And I pull out the PS1. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:43 One is a Mad Katz controller. One is the OG PlayStation controller that came to the console. I say, go ahead. Pick. If he picks the fucking PlayStation controller, bad. Kill him on the spot. He should know his place.
Starting point is 00:48:53 He's the doppelganger. He's number two. He should have picked the Mad Cats. He's not. I'm sorry. There's only one way you can determine. That's a good method. Right?
Starting point is 00:49:06 If someone picks the fucking, like if someone says, oh, no, go ahead, pick. You've got to pick the Madcats. You have to pick that. Yeah, of course. You cannot pick the nice one. Well, what if he thinks you're his doppelganger as well? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:19 And he's like, I'm actually the original. Not you. Very unlikely. Well, how do you know that? That's the scary thing about double gangs is that they think each other as the doppelganger. just shit yourself and then if he doesn't shit himself back, you'd be like, you're not me. Yeah, that's what I would do. I'll be like, shit yourself right now. And if he doesn't,
Starting point is 00:49:36 no, you Joe, he would just like, look at him and make face like, I was like, he's just like me for real. No, Joe, you'll be the one person who would actually just become best friends. Yeah, you would become best friends. Even though you'd both die probably if you both like existed. I do love myself. I am vain. Oh, man. All right. Should we go back to the list? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:02 Who is Link actually dead in Majora's mask? Is there any confirmation of this? Link is not dead in Majora's mask. But you know what? Thematically, I think it, like, out of all the theories that we've heard today, it kind of like makes more sense, you know? I understand. I like that theory.
Starting point is 00:50:22 I'll go ahead and agree with it. Why not? all right what's next let's see what's next ditto our failed mu clone I mean this is just back in uh
Starting point is 00:50:36 what the fuck is where they're fucking where these diddos come from well they're such a weird creature that's true and they're also shit that's like the most disappointing part between why they're just shit well you know you'd think a Pokemon well a Pokemon that could copy any Pokemon
Starting point is 00:50:50 surely would be amazing I mean on paper right I can I can steal any Pokemon and use them. The problem is that Ditto always copies them with like worst stats. Well, that's the whole point. It's not a perfect copy, right? Yeah, but that's, that's the trade-off.
Starting point is 00:51:08 Thematically cool. Yeah. Ends at making what could have been a really cool Pokemon, a breeding machine. A breeding machine? Yeah. The fuck. You, you, you fuck Dittos. What is, what did I come back to? You-explain yourself.
Starting point is 00:51:26 You exclusively use dittos for breeding. What, why are you trying to... I don't look at the pink blob and think this is a breedable Pokemon. When I see a ditto, I think, oh great, all my Pokemon can take turns railing. Is that the first thing you do if you had a ditto? No, it's what, I do every time I get one. You use it for breeding? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Yeah, of course. It's the only views for it. What? In the game. Ditto's only use is that it can breed with any Pokemon in the game. That's fucked up. Yeah. That's, so, like, every Ditto is like, man, I can't wait to battle for you. And you're like, yes, battle.
Starting point is 00:52:07 Yeah, you are in fucking breeding purgatory right now. Is Ditto just a sex slave? Basically, yeah. In the games, yeah. Oh, my. That's why most people catch them. You keep Ditto permanently in there, and then you rotate out Pokemon while he's to fucking suck and fuck his way.
Starting point is 00:52:23 He's like a gladiator, except he's got a suck and fuck his way. of freedom. Because Ditto in battle fucking sucks, because it can only learn transform. And he can only copy the Pokemon with worse stats. Yeah. Like, he just, he's useless.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Yeah, he's really useless in the game. But he's literally the goat of breeding. It's weird that you put him in the daycare to make them breed. Why? Why daycare? They should be doing that. Get him a love hotel.
Starting point is 00:52:49 What the hell? The hell they're doing for daycare, bro? What the hell's going on? Why they're fucking a daycare? Does he at least have an only fan? to, you know, make his own income. No, he should, though.
Starting point is 00:52:59 Oh, man. What the, what is going on? This is, this is fucked up. That's how someone got on Jeffrey Epstein's Fortnite account. They put a Ditto on it. Yeah. That's fucked up.
Starting point is 00:53:09 Poor Ditto, man. I actually fully, um, I actually fully believe this theory. It's kind of a cool theory and I think it thematically helps kind of explain. The fact that Ditto and Mews share the same weight, that's, that's a big one, right? Yeah, same weight. What are the chances of that? They're both pants.
Starting point is 00:53:26 their shiny forms are the exact same color. They both can learn transform. And, you know, considering the fact that Mu canonically is kind of the origin of all Pokemon as well, he's kind of like the, what's the word, the common ancestor of all Pokemon, right? So, yeah, I actually really like this theory.
Starting point is 00:53:45 And I think it's accurate. Is there any proof to this theory? It feels like it makes a lot of sense. Yeah, it makes a lot of sense. But maybe it's just one of those things that you just feel in your heart. Why are they trying to clone Mu again? To create Mutu.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Because Team Rocket wanted to... Wait, this isn't the... This is true. Yeah. Yeah. Shared move pools, stats similarities, weight. Denied by game... It has been officially denied by GameFreek.
Starting point is 00:54:11 Yeah, but we also learned a couple of episodes ago that we can't trust Nintendo on anything. That's true. You know? So, you know, Nintendo will say, oh, Link isn't dead of Majoris mask. I don't know. Game Freak can barely make a fucking Pokemon game.
Starting point is 00:54:23 I don't trust them anymore. I don't want to hear it. Oh yeah, and they both spawn in the exact same locations as well in game. Oh. I'm going convinced. Yeah, I'm convinced with this theory. Despite the overwhelming coincidences, the theory is not canon. Maid, fucking Master of the Juniors, you can say all he wants, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:54:46 I think this theory just makes it cool. It does make, but then I guess maybe, maybe the like the corporate mind is like, we should never admit that a Pokemon is like a failed version of another one. Right. Like they don't want to like put that kind of dark lore in a children's game. Yeah. Or they don't want to basically prioritize a Pokemon over another. Or say that like one is the worst version of another.
Starting point is 00:55:10 Right. When they already have like, I don't know, fucking five billion weird shitty Pokemon. Garbador. The trash, trash Pokemon. There's already a lot of like weird Pokemon law in like a lot of the game. like that whole theory in black and white where like Pokemon and humans used to breed and
Starting point is 00:55:27 Pokemon used to be humans. What? You don't know about that one? We were breeding with the Pokemon? They took that from us. In black and white there is like a- It should have been me! Not him! There's a theory that Pokemon used to be humans. Yeah, look up Pokemon used to be humans. Okay, let's see this theory. So N probably just was a furry the whole time. It's like, oh, based. We're once the same and used to intermarry. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:59 Wow. It's like it's actually in the game, in black and light. If you go up to like a random bookshop, you can actually meet the whole thing. That's too crazy. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. But oh, we used to fuck the Pokemon. It's suddenly, no, that's cool. Every Pokemon?
Starting point is 00:56:13 Every Pokemon used to be a huge. Well, probably not like, what's the Farrow seed? That's pretty hard to fuck, to be honest. We should make, we should make a fuckability list. They have done that. There might be a hole at the bottom. It's called smash your pass, right? No, that just says whether I would smash them.
Starting point is 00:56:29 I'm talking about how much effort we're going through here to get it done. What would you mean? Some Pokemon are much harder to fuck than others, can. That's true. A real man once said. Well, Ditto can find a way. If Ditto can find a way, we can find a way. That is sure.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Surely. Pokemon who used to be human. So maybe not every Pokemon used to be human. Maybe just some Pokemon. Yeah. But it's implied in black and white that at one point in the Pokemon universe history, Pokemon and humans would intermarry. Dude, black and white was so sick.
Starting point is 00:57:03 That's the best fucking game. Black and white was such fucking peak. It was the one game that actually made me care about story in a poker game. They were so fucking good. And it's small stuff like this that made that game so much more interesting. And it's like, okay, you don't necessarily have to believe it or whatever. But like, you know, it just makes the universe more interesting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:23 I haven't played it yet. Oh, you got a player. I still playing. Black and white. It's fucking awesome. Yeah, Ruby and Gold. I'm sorry, Ruby and Sapphire. That's the one, right?
Starting point is 00:57:34 I played Ruby and Gold. Ruby and gold. Ruby and gold, yes. Ruby and Sapphire. Ruby and Sapphire. Yeah. That's the one. That's my last play.
Starting point is 00:57:41 I can't believe that how much they scammed me when I was a kid. I would convince my mom to buy Ruby. And then I would have to, I have to buy emerald. You can't not. Yeah, of course. You can't go to the game.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Also, you're going to get Raucosa. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. I would always buy at least two of them. They got me so fucking good. Yes, I fully believe the whole Ditto Failed Muclons,
Starting point is 00:57:59 just because there's more wacky or confirmed war in the Pokemon universe that there's no reason why this one shouldn't also be true. Yeah. Dude, that first movie, and first two movies was so good. So good. Yeah. I can't, I remember, what was the third movie?
Starting point is 00:58:14 Was that the one with, uh, Ente? Yeah, the Ente movie. Yeah, that was all right. That was all right. I like the Ente movie. What was the Ente movie? What was the main point of this movie? Like, what was the main plot point?
Starting point is 00:58:25 Uh, oh, we have it right there. The narrative centers around Molly Hale, a lonely young girl who loses her father to the mysterious reality-altering Pokemon known as the unowned. Grieving and isolated, Molly's wishes manifest into reality via the unknown's powers. I don't remember this.
Starting point is 00:58:44 It's crazy that Ente got all the love when he's arguably the most boring out of the three dogs. I disagree. I think Ryko's way more boring. RICO's so fucking cool. Ah, Suken's the goat. So that's the thing, right? Suken is the undisputed goat, and then it goes Ente and the Raiker.
Starting point is 00:58:58 It is crazy how like Suikun did not get any love. I mean, Sukkha got... Well, Shook was in the movie too, right? Yeah, Suken was in the movie. And also, Suken makes a lot of appearances in the anime. Yeah, true. Because Swikin's the fucking goat. But fucking Ryku's cool as shit.
Starting point is 00:59:12 RICO's all right. I prefer Ente. Fugin BH. What are the best legendary Pokemon? Is that confirmed or agreed upon by the fan base? The best. Like everyone's like, like,
Starting point is 00:59:23 everyone's like, yeah, who's like the goat of like legendary Pokemon? Breqqqqqa. I think Brickhaz is like a lot of people's favorite. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:29 Ray Quazza. Is that the snake one? Yeah. Yeah. He's got aura. He's just a green dragon. He's sick as far. Because some of the new
Starting point is 00:59:36 legendaries look actually ridiculous. They've gotten, they've gotten out of hand. Can we, can we show the list of legendary Pokemon? Yeah, I need to catch up.
Starting point is 00:59:42 Because like, we start like somewhat simple and we start getting really ridiculous very quickly. Like, okay, you have to zoom in. Yeah, let's see you.
Starting point is 00:59:51 So not all of these, like, so what I've learned is, no, all of these are considered legendary, by the way. No. Some of them are in the mythic tier. Some of them are mythical, and some of them are, um, what do they call?
Starting point is 01:00:00 Latios and Latios just looked like a, a Lugia rip-off. So, like, I think, yeah, but the Latios and Lattios movie was so nice. I think that, like, Diagga, Palchia and Girantina, fucking cool as shit. Yeah, cool, great, cool.
Starting point is 01:00:13 Why, why there rocks? Like, what the fuck is Reggie rock, Reggie Ice and Reggie Steel? What the fuck? Dude, you know, did you play Ruby and Reu. Sapphire, how do you not know this? You don't know the Reggie's, bro?
Starting point is 01:00:24 Nah. The Reggie rocks kind of cool, because they're kind of weird, but then the whole Reggiegis mystery was so saying. It wasn't like the, and then they also, and then we also get two more regisies as well. We have Reggie Elyke and Richie Draco. They got ahead of themselves. I like Reggie Draco. Well, it's cool idea, but what are we doing, buddy?
Starting point is 01:00:40 Look at Reggie Drago. It's a cool idea, but come on. Regi Eiliki. What are we doing? This is not, this is not another Evie for you. It's not fun for you to do this, okay? Look at the, look at the, These new ones.
Starting point is 01:00:51 What the fuck is- Some of them just don't have aura. What the fuck is this? Yeah, like a fucking Tarapagos and like Ogapon, I'm just like, eh, I can live without them, to be honest. I like Corridon and Maridon though. Look at the fuck is this shit. The hell is this?
Starting point is 01:01:06 Pretty cute. And then like go, go back and like, look at the- Pokemon 9, ogie-doggy, monkey dory, monkey dory, Fezendipity. Oh, that's from the DLCs. The hell is that shit. Let's have a look. We don't even have images of them.
Starting point is 01:01:24 No. Look at the what the fuck is this? Oh man, what the fuck? Some like soy jack. What is this? Yeah, this is when they started to be like, all right, we're running out of ideas for legendaries. This is a power puff girl, man. What the fuck? That's Mojo Jojo's going to here?
Starting point is 01:01:40 What's Mojo Jojo doing here? That one's kind of cool. Oh, well. Sure, you got the egg retzko fucking. Tigretzko fucking peacock. Yeah. Why that's, why the Pokemon kind of... God.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Looking kind of bad. Save for the ditto. Wow, why did you give me the eye like that? I know, right? Oh my God. Hello. I like remakes like the Galerian Articuno and Zapdos. Yeah, those are cool.
Starting point is 01:02:06 That's a cool concept. I'm down with that. I think, I think everyone can agree that Rick Waser is probably the fan favorite. Can we Google who is the most popular legendary Pokemon? Yeah. Voted or some shit? Because now I'm curious.
Starting point is 01:02:18 Who is your personal favorite, legendary? This back-to-school season, spend less on your kids with Amazon. Hi, I'm Laura Clary, mom, overthinker, and someone who has a complicated relationship with the back-to-school supply list. Can we just be honest for a second? Kids are expensive. Last year, I went all out on my daughter's school supplies, color-coded folders, the fancy pencil case, gel pens and 17 colors she absolutely needed.
Starting point is 01:02:45 By October, she had one pencil left. One. I don't know what happened to the rest, and honestly, neither does she. Amazon has everything your kids need for back-to-school at prices that won't make you want to cry in the school supply aisle. Great prices, huge selection, and when half of it goes missing by October, at least you didn't break the bank. So remember, with Amazon's low back-to-school prices, just spend less on your kids because every dollar you don't spend on them is a dollar you haven't spent on them. Right now, for a limited time, everyone's spending. part of the Buick team. Even you. Buick's employee pricing for you event is on now. Get a purchase credit

Personally, dude, I love Girantina. Yeah, Giratina's so sick.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Because it's like, it's like, isn't he just like literally Satan? Isn't that like the concept? Yeah. And he's like fucking terrifying. Yeah. And when you, when you, he's got aura. That fucking, uh, the parallel universe you go into in platinum when you go and catch him where you like walk on the walls and shit, it's so sick. That sounds sick. I still remember that fucking,
Starting point is 01:04:13 I still remember that Giratina meme where it's like, if you, it's like, if your girl is goth has fangs as thick as shit and wears black all the time, that's not a goth girl, that's Giratina. Yeah, the fucking parallel universe when you go and find Giratina, it's so sick.
Starting point is 01:04:31 Distortion world, that's it. You gotta play this game. Gen 4 is sick as fuck. Platinum, when they introduced this in platinum? So when does Pokemon fall off? What's the game? For me, it was X and Y. X and Y.
Starting point is 01:04:45 X and Y. Yeah, Gen 6. I think a lot of people really didn't like X and Y. And then a lot of people did like Sun and Moon a lot. I did not like Sun and Moon. I think it was a departure from the standard gym formula, which all people didn't like. They got rid of gyms in Gen 6. But then they went back to France.
Starting point is 01:05:01 Yes, in Gen 8. And then where did they go now? What's any way? Then they went to the UK. And then they went to... The fucking UK? They went to the fucking UK. And then the new one, Wins and Waves, is in Southeast Asia.
Starting point is 01:05:16 We summoned the Sea Gang. The Wings and Waiverland does look cool so far. We'll see that. We still have a year before it comes out, so I'm hopeful for it. Somehow they're the only studio that can make a game every year, and then everyone's like, we don't like this, actually, because you keep releasing the same game. It doesn't matter because they make a billion dollars.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Exactly. Every time. Every time. Yeah. Violin Scarlet is the most sole Pokemon game of all time. This is so sad. which is really sad. Anyway,
Starting point is 01:05:43 should we go look at some more theories? Yeah. Oh, this is a famous one. Oh, is it? Oh, yeah, this one is first. Is it Ed and Eddie takes place in Pogatory? Is half these theories just X is actually just dead? Yeah, or it's dark. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:58 Yeah, so Edanetti takes place in Purgatory. The cul-de-sac is a form of Pogatory populated by children from different eras. Did you watch Edanetti gone? Yes, I did. Oh, really? I watched, like, a few episodes. This is just my favorite cartoon.
Starting point is 01:06:09 This is also my favorite cartoon. This was my favorite. Oh, this or... Samurai Jack. I didn't like it. You didn't like it, Nadi? Yeah. What the fuck?
Starting point is 01:06:18 Bro was a weep from day one. Yeah, I was like... I don't like this Western art style. I looked at it and I'm like, damn. They're ugly, man. No, I love that. No, it's so stylized. And they had the boiled lines because it was all hand drawn.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Yeah, yeah. It was always like wobbling. Yeah. I love that shit. And I fucking, I just loved all the characters. They were so goofy. Fucking Ralph was the goat, dude. I was, even as a kid, I was like,
Starting point is 01:06:40 Joe's eye roll. Life means Eddie does, Ed boy. Oh yeah, okay, so Editt 86 plays in Purgatory. The evidence is that the adults are almost never shown. Characters appear to come from different time periods. Nobody seems capable of leaving permanently and the world feels strangely isolated. Yeah, I don't know. I like this theory. Yeah, the cul-de-sac does like have its own energy to it.
Starting point is 01:07:02 Yes. It's good. I like this theory, but I feel it's also kind of a weak theory because, you know, I don't know. know, I don't know, just something about it. It just doesn't fit with the vibe of the show. You know what I mean? Hmm. Okay, let's say this.
Starting point is 01:07:18 It's a fan-made creepy pasta. I mean, these are all creepy pasta. Are these just creepy pasta? Is this the creepy-pastor episode? Yeah. Okay. So mixed eras and technologies. So what's that about?
Starting point is 01:07:31 The kids are shown using outdated technologies like typewriters alongside modern items like computers, leading theories, speculate that characters died in different decades. Well, that could be used in a lot of different worlds as well. But, like, one world that has never made sense
Starting point is 01:07:49 to me, technology-wise, is, like, the fucking Naruto world. Like, you see Naruto, right? Yeah. Yeah. Why the fuck do they have, like, you know, they have walkie-talkies and Wi-Fi communicators, right? In this world. And they still use fucking jit-sues and scrolls
Starting point is 01:08:07 and shit like that for communication. What the fuck is going on? It has a fun element to it. It's fun to send things like. If I exiled you, I wouldn't message you. I'd send you a fucking scroll. I think that may also be just Kishimoto being like, well, fuck, I can't introduce Wi-Fi and a jitsu.
Starting point is 01:08:24 So I mean, here's the thing. Why are Akatski using these like teleportation fucking jutsus for their meetings, right? Yeah. They have like confirmed wireless technology. to like communicate with each other. Just to just zoom like the rest of the ninjas. That's what I'm saying, bro.
Starting point is 01:08:45 That's what I'm fucking saying. What are they doing? Man? A weekly Akatsky Zoom meaning. It's just because like, is, is ORA worth that much to, like, learn some fucking forbidden jitsu? Yep. You know, it's like... Orr is the new currency. Yeah, or is the new currency.
Starting point is 01:09:02 This theory I don't really feel too strongly about, to you honestly, to the year. I think it's right. Yeah, it doesn't like, it doesn't like, you know, it doesn't like, you know, it's... It doesn't, like, you know, accentuate or take away from the enjoyment. I don't get excited when I hear it. Yeah. It doesn't add anything to the internet universe or, like, you know, add any new excitement or take away anything from it.
Starting point is 01:09:19 Like, it's just, okay, sure. Do you believe those, like, time traveler, time traveler photos that have been taken? No. No, I know. Just a human being? Oh, there you go. Time travelers, it's, oh, shit. So events, this is actually on the list, events have been successfully guessed.
Starting point is 01:09:36 Yeah, the hipster time travel photo, right? Yeah. For one one. Yeah, go. Let's look at the picture right now. Yeah, that is an incredibly captain. So audio listeners, we have a picture of a time traveler. It inverted marks of a photo that was taken in the 1940s.
Starting point is 01:09:55 And a man who looks very much like he's wearing modern day clothes with sunglasses and a sweater, I guess. Like, I definitely don't believe in the whole time travel thing. I'm just like, then what was up with this guy? You know, like, I just... So you're telling me, because you see this guy, you're like, there's no other explanation. No, no, I don't believe in the time travel. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:10:20 And because I'm certain that it's not time travel, that makes me want to know more why this guy is dressed like this. Yeah, I mean, I'll admit, it looks like, what the hell is... It's the graphic T. And it's a confirmed photo as well. Like, this wasn't doctor, doctor and or anything like that. Like, it's a real photo.
Starting point is 01:10:37 So it just makes me beg the question, like, so who is this guy? And why is he dressed like this? He was just ahead of his time. Yeah, yeah. He's just a visionary. Yeah, yeah. Because people also say that it looks like he's holding like a modern camera in his hands. Like a, like, not a DSLR, but like a small, like digital camera.
Starting point is 01:10:56 And like the glasses are completely off. The graphic shirt that he's wearing is completely off. There's still like 10 more explanations before I would jump to time traveler. Yeah. Yeah. No, totally. But like what? What are those explanations?
Starting point is 01:11:09 It could be photoshopped, obviously if that's proven not to be the case. It could just be this guy, just the right angle happen to make things look a certain way that it looks very, you know. It's like that picture of the guy when he's kissing his son, it looks like an asshole.
Starting point is 01:11:25 What? What? Did you know the one? I know what you told me about. Guy kissing son, asshole. Yeah. I'm kissing. Don't Google that.
Starting point is 01:11:35 Guy kissing meme. Like, what's it like... Like kissing sun meme? Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure it'll come up. Yeah, yeah. Oh. What the fuck?
Starting point is 01:11:48 It takes you like five to ten seconds to realize what you're looking at. I know what I'm looking at. My brain is still like, nah. It's like, nah. That's a butt. Yeah, it does look like he's mooning his son. Oh, my God. We can't show this, by the way.
Starting point is 01:12:05 You can't unsee this. I don't know, I think YouTube. You can show this? No, Google AI is gonna, like YouTube AI is gonna be like, that's a lot, W. That's a butt. Picture right now. But yeah, just, you can just Google,
Starting point is 01:12:18 Guy Kissing SunMeme, everyone who. Everyone has seen this picture. I have not seen this picture. You have. I have not. You have. When did this come out? What did this come out?
Starting point is 01:12:27 Oh, you got attacked by the slime. There's other ones like this too. There's loads of examples of like, basically the camera lens, just making it look like something. Or like, you see something normal that just looks very different because of the angle on the picture. There's so many more explanations.
Starting point is 01:12:43 I get that, but like go back to the hipster time travel a photo. Like, I don't know. I don't think this is like a matter of angles because it's like no matter how you look at it, he's wearing a graphic tee. He's got, okay, he's got wraparound sunglasses. It looks like a graphic tea. And those could just be some custom-made sunglasses.
Starting point is 01:13:02 Yeah, you could just add some fabric on the side to like cover up. You know, it's not unheard of. Like, we know that some civilizations have, like, ancient, like, goggles they would make. Yeah. You know, it's not unheard of to have goggles. Would you, uh, if time travel was real, where would you go? Would you do it?
Starting point is 01:13:21 No. You wouldn't do it? No, why? What, what have I got to do? I've got a good thing going here. No, no, no. As like a, uh, oh, yeah, this is another one as well, right? Time travel Mike Tyson fights.
Starting point is 01:13:34 Someone looks. in 1995, it looks like someone's holding a smartphone. And that looks more like a, that could be just a camera. That could literally be anything. That's literally be anything. Yeah. A light and a. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:46 That could be a lot of other things before and a smartphone. But, and why would the fuck would people who have invented time travel still be using smartphones that look exactly the same as now? Yeah. With flash. And also filming vertically, really don't. Yeah. What's crazy is that like you unlock time travel and the first thing you want to do is go and film a mic
Starting point is 01:14:05 Tyson fight. Yeah. Like yeah, I mean, he was he was very good. That's pretty sick. I wouldn't film it though. Why don't I film it? Dude, he's literally he's literally one of the most documented boxes in like history. No, no, no, no. It's it's why do people film concerts? Because they're dumb. Because people because they don't know how to enjoy a concert. Because people go to like big events and they're like, here's my angle of this legendary events, you know? Wouldn't wouldn't wouldn't you be okay. Would you not? If time travel exists. You wouldn't go back in time to fix whatever your life. But wouldn't you be curious to be like,
Starting point is 01:14:40 hey, here's this like legendary event in history. You know, wouldn't, I like... Okay, look, look, if I went to the Mike Tyson fight, I wouldn't film it. Look, if you spawn me in front of 9-11, is it full? Yeah, I'm gonna whip my phone out. I'm gonna stop filming it. Of course I am.
Starting point is 01:14:54 I'm like, what else? I'm just thinking back, what event would be like the most, like, time travel tourism, right? Let's say that's a thing, right? Bro, 9-11? So we do tours where you can go back and watch something? Bro, imagine the fucking amount of people would be like...
Starting point is 01:15:08 Hands off for the 9-11 tour. Could be like, all right, all right. I want to see the second plane hit, you know? I want to be there for that moment. I need to know. I need to fucking know what it was like on the like ground zero, man. Do you think that would be like the most tour? I want to feel the impact.
Starting point is 01:15:26 Do you think that would be the most toured event in history? What is it? No. I mean, God. No, it's got to wait, so you're saying I can observe. any disaster. Any event. Let's say time travel tourism was a thing.
Starting point is 01:15:39 You have this agency, they're like, hey, you can't change the past, but we can take you. Am I like physically in the space? Yeah, like, can I be affected by anything? Well, yeah, you are. It depends how much you fuck around. Yeah, so that takes off like, I guess, Hiroshima, you know, you can.
Starting point is 01:15:56 Not that I ever want to check it out, you know. But you were thinking about it, Garland. You were thinking about it. I was, it's a possibility. So that takes away like, you know, the meteor destroying the dinosaurs. Yeah. Or like those kinds of like world ending events. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:11 They, I don't think I particularly want to watch the meteor. What an underwhelming moment. Yeah. Just to watch this media just arrive and then fucking kill everything. Yeah, exactly. But it would also kill you. You could teepe you back though. You could tip you back.
Starting point is 01:16:23 Like before it hits you. Before it hits you. Before it hits you. Like, I've seen it off. You're like, it's getting there. It's getting there. You hear it made contact. And boom, we leave.
Starting point is 01:16:29 I feel like that's a big risk, you know? You're like, you're kind of risk. If you're on the tour with me, You'd trust me. Fuck, no, I wouldn't. You know I would. That's like the people who don't like to go swim with sharks, you know, they're like, ooh.
Starting point is 01:16:41 Yeah, no, no, no, no, wait, wait, he gets good, it gets good, hold up, and then it's too late. Yeah, but you like edge yourself to be like, how long can I stay in this time period before getting fucking wiped out? Um, you know. What event would I wanna go back in experience?
Starting point is 01:16:55 I don't know, maybe like Woodstock 69? That'd be pretty fucking cool to see. That would be safe, but also you'd literally get to see one of greatest fucking festivals in music history. Yeah. Like getting to see like fucking Jimmy Hendricks on stage, I'll be like, fuck yeah. I wouldn't even have to record that shit. I just want to go there to see it. Yeah, that would be pretty sick. And it's safe relatively. Yeah. Safe relatively. Relatively, you know. Depends how many drugs you do. Also, we think.
Starting point is 01:17:23 It's the 60s. Do we still, are we still in time travel law or do we abide by the laws? Dude, the moment I get there, I'm just going to be surrounded by these hippies. Like, try this, try this, try this. And I'll be like, yes, yes, thank you, thank you. Yeah, I don't know. You know, I'll go, I'll go, am I allowed to affect it? No, no, you're a tourist. You can't change.
Starting point is 01:17:47 Who says that? Who says that? Why can't I? Well, because it might possibly lead to a butterfly effect where you don't exist. Yeah, I mean, my existence is not. Don't say, don't say fucking baby Hitler or whatever, man. No, no, no, no. All right.
Starting point is 01:18:03 Although that would be funny. Or the birth of Hitler. No, just imagine you show up and you're like, guys, I really have to kill this child. I'll explain in a couple of years time. I'm pretty sure there've been people like that. We're like, these guys belong in an asylum.
Starting point is 01:18:18 He's like talking about it. Where are you going? Where are you going? But if you killed baby Hitler, we wouldn't know you killed baby Hitler. Yeah, I know. It's like different timeline. Right, isn't it like sad?
Starting point is 01:18:26 You wouldn't get the credit. You'd just be a baby murder. You wouldn't get me. You just get arrested. Yeah. They call you a criminal. In my time, yeah, in your timeline, you just be, you just kill a baby. You could do like, you could like help like some really underwhelming things.
Starting point is 01:18:44 Like you could stop like the great fire of London, like burned it all down. You know, you're there with a with an Evian bottle. You put it up for you. You're like, you'll thank me about this. No, but you wouldn't be the great fire of London stopper. You just, no, I know. I would be the, I would be a tourist. You'd be a guy.
Starting point is 01:19:03 They'd call me a tour. You'd be a guy who went back in time to put out a fire. You don't even know, because I would have to put it out, presumably before it even gets out of hand, because if it was too bad. Yeah, exactly. You'd be a house fire stopper. Yeah, you'd be a responsible citizen. Who knows, right?
Starting point is 01:19:19 Exactly. You know. What a boring life I live. I would like to go see. What would I like to go see? What amazing events in history would I like to go see? Mike Tyson fight. That'd be pretty, you know, seeing.
Starting point is 01:19:32 Like a Muhammad Ali fight? seeing Rumble in the jungle, that'd be pretty, that'd be pretty sick. That'd be that. I am taking videos of that if I'm there, by the way. Holy shit. If I'm there as a time travel, fuck yeah, I'm taking a video of that. I would like to watch the last duel, like one with the guns, you know where they shoot each other? The last one.
Starting point is 01:19:51 I don't know which one was, but we'll find out and then I'll go and watch it. What is the last duel ever, ever documented? It'd be fun to watch, isn't it? That would be kind of fun to watch. You just like, just take it in. Like, draw. Uh, 1967. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:20:10 Talking two French politicians. Oh, documented political do with you. Of course, it was fucking two French people. Yeah. Shut up. Oh, God. Boom. Socialist politician Gaston de Ferre and Gaulist deputy René Ribe Ribeiro.
Starting point is 01:20:24 He did debate in French national Sunday where do shout it. Shut up, stupid. Refused to retract the insult prompting repaired to formally challenge him. The duel was fought with fencing swords at a private estate. Holy shit. After just four minutes,
Starting point is 01:20:39 very wounded him twice, and the referee called the fight to a close, declaring both men's honor satisfied. Well, they didn't, no one died. That doesn't count. Most, most jewels,
Starting point is 01:20:48 people didn't die. What's the point of it, then? It was a matter of, like, honor and ego. There was a, ordinary things that were really good video about this. It was like, they were never legal.
Starting point is 01:20:58 It was like never legal to do a duel. But they, They just did it. And no one would, would, like, you know, no one would,
Starting point is 01:21:05 uh, at a trial would convict you because they, they were all like, well, it's honorable. It was usually just two dudes just trying to figure some shit out. So it, it really hasn't changed in the modern day with just two drunk blokes in the
Starting point is 01:21:17 fucking pub pushing each other. That is statically a door. There was like, it was really cool. This really explained it really, really well. And the part I found really fascinating was that like, if you didn't follow the rules,
Starting point is 01:21:27 like the, like the, the, the code of conduct. Yeah, the code of conduct. you would be convicted. Like, people would not defend you.
Starting point is 01:21:34 And so one of the, one of the, the things that they had to do was they were not allowed to have the duel on the same day of the infraction. Because it was like, you're doing it in the heat of the moment. Yeah, yeah. You need to, like, actually still want to defend your honor or do this duel the next day. Yeah. Or in a time and future, you need to agree on a time. Which I found really interesting that that was like a stipulation, but to be honorable.
Starting point is 01:21:57 But the goal was not to kill each other. It was often to wound. but I think there were people who did intend to kill each other. Oh, that's... But also, these pistols used to be shit. They were, like, really inaccurate. So, if the goal was not to kill each other... It was to defend your honor.
Starting point is 01:22:13 It was the... And back then, the idea of honor was like, I am willing to die of my honor, aka, I'm willing to shoot at a guy and maybe get shot back. And then what would happen if they missed, they would often be like, do you wish to continue?
Starting point is 01:22:26 And if one guy feels like, well, no, I really want to fucking hurt this guy. They would have to do another round. But they could also be like, shoot each other once, and then they would both be seen as honorable, even if they both missed. Okay. And sometimes they would intentionally miss.
Starting point is 01:22:38 Now, this is a toxic masculinity. Hell yeah. Damn, the good old days, man. It's a lot of, like, a lot of romantic thinking of, like, honor is this and, you know. It's when the boys used to be men. Yeah, damn. Obviously, we got shot by then.
Starting point is 01:22:51 When does society get so soft? Bring back the door. What thing they noted than this, do you know what, stopped, what killed the duel? Isn't there just people suing each other? No, no, it was because normal people could afford guns. That's what killed it for the rich people. They were like, bah, it's not funny.
Starting point is 01:23:08 Oh, this was a rich person thing. Yeah, yeah, because these guns... Yeah, the average person couldn't afford a gun. These guns used to be, like, incredibly expensive because they were all made by hand, and a lot of the time people would borrow guns from a rich friend to do it. Right.
Starting point is 01:23:20 But the moment that everyone could afford a gun, they were like, nah, it's a bit unsavory, isn't it? It's the pores are doing it. So it's kind of... It's a bit too ruffian for us now. It's an image problem. You know, it's a... That was an everyman thing, you know?
Starting point is 01:23:33 Yeah, it seems like a noble thing because obviously only the rich people would do it. Yeah. Really interesting. Great video. Really recommend watching this video. It's really fascinating. I didn't really care much for the subject,
Starting point is 01:23:42 but by the end of the video, I was enthralled. Have you ever wanted to duel someone? Oh, on this podcast, many a time I wanted to... You, sir, are astoundrel a lot. Mr. Julia. Take the glove off. Pah!
Starting point is 01:23:56 Yeah. I mean, yeah. Just to see what it's like. Just to see what it's like. You'd risk your life just to see what it's like. It's always depressing because oftentimes they wouldn't die, but if you got shot, they would die for infection. Right, yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:09 A couple of weeks later. It's like pretty sad way to over like some dumb shit sometimes too. Like this French politician said, shut up. They would like fight over absolutely absurd things. Like, no, you're an idiot. Was it kosher to refuse a duel? Just to be like, I challenge you to a duel. I don't.
Starting point is 01:24:25 I don't think you were really able to. refuse a duel. Really? If you're in nobility, I don't, I don't think so. Could you refuse a duel? Let's find out. Could you refuse a duel? Yes. Yes, you could refuse a jewel, but devastating social consequences. But in areas where the practice was culturally and legally acceptable, doing so carried devastating social consequences. Yeah, so basically, if someone came up to you, I was like, I propose a duel and then you were like, nah, then you'd be like, he's a bitch.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Ah, so yeah, the no-bitcher stipulation. Yeah, exactly. Okay, I understand. I understand it now. He's the pussy! Like the social, you know, back then when you were, these social circles would be life and death. Yeah. I think it mattered a lot.
Starting point is 01:25:10 But it was really funny because they also spoke about how they should just do them in like Hyde Park. It was just in like parks in London they would do this. Like they would be like, see you in Hyde Park tomorrow for a duel. And the police would like, if they found them, they would stop them. The fuck you're doing. Stop, stop this. It's illegal. But they were just, like, if you imagine,
Starting point is 01:25:26 this is for my honor. She made to give you a morning run and you just like stumble across a duel. I'm like, this is... Dude, I'm definitely stopping and watching. I would stop and watch. I mean, bro, it's just like going... Going past your local pub at like 3 a.m.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Yeah, it's the same thing, just different weapons, you know? It's just like, of course you're gonna stop him watching. I'm like, oh shit. It's like, I want to know what goes down. Oh shit, it's kicking off. Hold on a second. No one called the cop is for a second. No one called the coppers for a second.
Starting point is 01:25:55 If a gentleman refused, the challenger might publicly humiliating him by hanging or publishing a post in the local newspaper, essentially branding them a poltroon or a liar. Damn. That's Japan still does that. They do. They do that. All right. That was a very, very long tangent. How did we get to time travels?
Starting point is 01:26:18 Oh, yeah, right. Willie Wonka is... What? Testing successes. Well, isn't it actually true, though? I thought that's what he was doing. I thought that's what he was trying to, because he gives Charlie the key to the factory. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:33 He's like, this is all yours, Charlie. Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is not a theory. This is just the law. The factory tour is actually a corporate succession plan. I mean, yeah, makes sense. What is the one-piece one? Crocodile is. Oh, crocodile is Luffy's mom.
Starting point is 01:26:49 What? The bad guy? Yeah, in Alabaster. How could that be his mom? I don't know the details. I've only heard of this from Manu. Crocodile's actually, Luffy's mother and was transformed into a man. Ivankov knows a secret about crocodile. Ivankov can change people's biological. Who is Ivankov?
Starting point is 01:27:13 They get introduced post white beer war arc. Isn't it during Impel Down? Yeah, it's during Impel Down? Yeah. They are... There you go sex changes? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:27 Yeah. And... Oda had a new bass like that. Oda is intentionally hidden Luffy's mother. Crocodile unexpectedly assists Luffy during Marineford. I mean, I feel like the biggest drawback to this theory isn't even the sex change or the Ivankov knows the secret about crocodile. Wouldn't something have happened during Alabaster
Starting point is 01:27:53 where Luffy beat the shit out of crocodile? You know? Yeah. Well, stop, I'm your mother. I mean, crocodile seems to know nothing about Luffy. Yeah, yeah. But maybe that's his boy all along, right? Maybe he has to hide it from Luffy for whatever fucking reason.
Starting point is 01:28:11 I don't know. I haven't caught up to one piece. Yeah, none of that shit. Yeah. Yeah. Luffy, uh, Crocodile unexpectedly assist Luffy drew Marinefoot. I mean, so did Mr. 2.
Starting point is 01:28:24 Yeah, so did a lot of previous films. a lot of villains as well. A lot of people who just wanted to see the fucking world collapse. Yeah, okay, so during Impel down, he makes a threat to, bail threat to crocodile hinting that he knows a deep, embarrassing secret from crocodiles past.
Starting point is 01:28:45 Hmm. Apparently he was depicted by Odour with very long hair, very soft androgynous features, marking speculation that is pre-transitioned. I think, I think we over. overcooked with this theory. I think we over cooked with this. We, we... Maybe the crocodile was up playing like Osu in like a femme boy outfit before he like figured it out too.
Starting point is 01:29:03 You know, one piece fans can cook with their theories and stuff like this. This one, the dish is burnt guys. Come on, come on, guys. It's a little hard to believe this one. It's a little far-fetched. This one's a little bit too far-fetched. But again, we don't know, you know, maybe fucking right at the end, Oda might be like, Shaky. The final twist.
Starting point is 01:29:22 The final twist. The one piece is actually a single-one piece. is actually a sex change. Astrogen. It's just a vile of estrogen. It's like, what the fuck? Luffy, it's for you. Luffy, you know what to do.
Starting point is 01:29:39 Minecraft is post-apocalyptic Earth. I've never heard of this one. I love these kinds of theories. Humanity collapsed long before the player arrives. The evidence is that there are abandoned mines shafts, desert temples and jungle ruins, ancient cities, strongholds built by an unknown civilization, and the enderman potentially being involved.
Starting point is 01:29:55 evolved humans. I'm gonna say yes, because I just love post-apocalyptic settings, you know? Yeah, and I think, yeah, because I don't know. That kind of makes sense. I don't know about the end of the end-aimuth. Someone had to have made these mineshafts and built these places. All the towns seem disconnected and isolated in a way that could only be possible if they were. How did the, how did the Minecraft Earth go through an apocalypse, though, is the question?
Starting point is 01:30:21 Was it? Was it the end of dragon? Or was it? A Trump? Damn, we're looking into our future. What is the Minecraft law? What is the, is the Ender Dragon just a dragon? No, I think there's a lot of, like, law that is, you know,
Starting point is 01:30:41 when these games kind of, like, start kind of, kind of open-ended and then slowly, like, really rich law gets added. I think it's kind of a situation like that where, like... The law of the Ender Dragon is steeped in mystery tied closely to the ancient builders. What the fuck? is the ancient builders. The ancient builders longer a highly advanced race of builders dominated the overworld, driven by ambition and the threat of a cataclysmic event. They constructed strongholds and discovered portals to the end dimension to escape, bro. Oh, well then
Starting point is 01:31:11 that's sick. I do love stories where it's like you are after the civilization that wiped out. Yeah. I love stories like that. Yeah. Yeah. It's one of my favorites narrative like settings. love post-apocalyptic worlds. I love like the mystery of that as well. I mean, it's kind of like when you hear about those like entire Mayan cities that have been like buried in the jungle. Yeah. Yeah, 100 of thousands of people lived here.
Starting point is 01:31:36 You know, that's your fucking shit. You'd love Porcopoeia then. That's the whole plot of Porcopia. Yeah. Yeah, but then the gameplay is... I don't know, man. I enjoyed it. I'm a gamer gamer, Joey.
Starting point is 01:31:48 Get that comfy gamer shit. Yeah, he's playing like fucking pariol the Eldon Ring. Yeah, that's right. I forgot he's a Fortnite player. No, Sydney played... Jeff List won. Jeff List won.
Starting point is 01:31:59 Sidney played poker and she really, really enjoyed it. Yeah. As well. Well, Sydney's a fake gamer, so... Damn. No, no. But... She's real. She's real.
Starting point is 01:32:09 But, yeah, did it... Was it ever confirmed what happened to the Mayan civilization? Did we ever find out, or was it just like a mystery in world law? I'm sure. I don't know... I... It's often disease, isn't that?
Starting point is 01:32:20 Yeah, I honestly don't know enough about it to So can we, can we Google this? Where did the Mayans go after predicting the end of the world in, uh, 20- Texas. Buckees. Buckees. They're all in the Buckees gas station. They haven't got out.
Starting point is 01:32:37 Now can Kai spell the word Mayan? M-A-A-A- Yeah, there you go. Yeah, there you go. I would have, I would have guessed it was an eye. Where did the Mayans go? The mines never actually disappeared. Wow. Millions of their descendants still live there in their ancestral homelands across Mexico.
Starting point is 01:33:00 Whoa. Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and El Salvador. Well, there you go. Wow. Okay. The classic mine collapse. So they didn't disappear. They kind of just dispersed.
Starting point is 01:33:10 Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I have to imagine after, like, you know, you're kind of in the middle of the rainforest. You're like, maybe there's somewhere else we could go. It's like, there's got to be more of this war than the forest. That's why when I was like in the mountain in Wales, I was like, this got to be somewhere else. I must leave this place.
Starting point is 01:33:29 I must find something else. Do you guys think about the Roman Empire as much as the saying makes guys think about it? Unfortunately, no. It does come up in my life and conversation more than it should. I heard this saying, I think way later than a lot of other people. I was like, I was like, what do you mean? What do you mean this is my Roman Empire?
Starting point is 01:33:49 And it's just like, yeah, guys think about the Roman Empire all the time. Do you think I think about the Roman Empire at least a couple of times a week? Really? I definitely, I definitely do not. What is there to think about? What do you think? Where does that saying come from?
Starting point is 01:34:03 Well, because there's just so much cool shit. And they're also responsible for so many things. And like, sometimes you just see a pothole in the road and you're like, this would never fucking happen. The Romans, bro. They would have built a fucking road. They would have built a fucking road. Is this a white man thing?
Starting point is 01:34:15 Because I'd never like... Whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Just because they were white, and they were really fucking cool. The Aryan mindset. Can you Google,
Starting point is 01:34:29 do white guys only think about the Roman Empire? I mean, the Roman Empire is cool, definitely. Yeah, it was cool. But like, I'm not thinking about all the fucking guy. One day I want a compilation on this podcast of weird things I've asked to Google.
Starting point is 01:34:39 Yeah. No, people of all genders in diverse backgrounds. Safe answer AI overview. Yeah. The idea that only white guys do is just a stereotype tied to a viability. viral internet trend. You can't stereotyping.
Starting point is 01:34:54 I'm sorry to play to stereotypes, but... The Roman Empire has sometimes been wrongfully... I mean, I guess I did bring up Gladiator yesterday, so I guess that's me thinking about the Roman Empire. Dude, I think about The Gladiator a lot. That movie's so good. That movie's so good, dude. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:11 The Roman Empire sometimes be wrongly romanized by some as the ultimate pinnacle of Western civilization or traditional masculinity. It wasn't? No, there's a lot of, a lot of like, well, I guess I don't know the other way to point this. They were very homo at times in the room. Wait, what'd you mean? Google it.
Starting point is 01:35:33 I mean, they invented the hand job, right? No, I thought they invented the hand job must have been. No, I thought they invented the blowjob. Oh, they invented the blowjob. Was the Roman Empire very gay? H-Rome was incredibly queer, quote, unquote, compared to modern standards, but not in the way we understand gay. It was about dominance, not identity.
Starting point is 01:35:52 That's fucking hilarious. A Roman male citizen could sleep with a male slave, actors, prostitutes of foreigners without losing social standing as long as he was the top. We used to have something. I used to be able to fuck anything and it didn't matter. We used to live in a society. That means Ujuro was like on to something.
Starting point is 01:36:13 Rijio is, yeah. Ujuro canonically broken out. Bisexuality was the norm among the Roman elite. Yeah, I mean, it was, they had that shit on lock, bro. They knew what they were doing. They were like, fuck this alpha male bullshit. I'll fuck you if I want to. That is the alpha alpha male thing to do.
Starting point is 01:36:30 True, we had it. Just fucking your fellow men. Right. To assert dominance, because it was about dominance. Yeah, bramosexual. Yeah. It's like, why do we lose that? We had it.
Starting point is 01:36:39 We had it. We figured it out. It's because society's gone soft, Connor. We've established this. There's nothing manlier than seeing a man in me like, I can fuck that. Is the Roman Empire? I, I just, I genuinely believe that.
Starting point is 01:36:51 Is the Roman Empire the best empire? What's your top tier one? Well, you know, that's, I mean, you have to give credit to the goat to get Genghis Khan. Yeah, I was going to say the long. Olden Empire is probably the Goan. I think about Genghis Khan more about more than the Roman Empire. No, I don't, I don't. You don't?
Starting point is 01:37:05 I don't. No, because he was not, you know, he was not trying to like, he was just, he was just trying to expand, you know? He wasn't like trying to like be the fucking, well, I actually was, but he was. Yeah, he was. But most places he'd be like, look, I'm going to kill you. But if you're cool with it And you want to trade with us And you know
Starting point is 01:37:22 You don't want to just be our subjects That's cool as well And I think a lot of the time They'd be like Isn't that most ancient empire Well no I think Romans are pretty like Nah we're gonna take you over Oh fair enough
Starting point is 01:37:31 But it could be very oversimplified I think why I probably think about The Roman Empire more than other empies Is because I probably know the most About the Roman Empire Like as It's just Joey wishes we had this Oh dude
Starting point is 01:37:45 I fucking fall through with it I also wish we had this dude It's like, you know, like, you know, the Mongolian Empire was fucking cool. And, you know, at one point it was the biggest empire ever. But like, I admittedly don't know enough about the Mongolian Empire. One person made that. One person in like one lifetime. He had some help.
Starting point is 01:38:03 He had some help. He had some help. But like you, you can't give all the credit to gangers. You know, when we went to this, I went to this bar one time. And I introduced you to this guy. And we met a guy. And, yeah, we were in a bar in Japan. And I was like, this is very.
Starting point is 01:38:17 very, very well, extremely well-spoken British guy. Oh. Very posh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I remember, like, when I was speaking to him, I was like, so like, what do you do? He's like, oh, well, I'm, I'm specialized. I have a PhD in the 16th century Ottoman Empire.
Starting point is 01:38:33 And he was a fascinating guy, and he sold me on it. I was like, I never really heard much about it. Yeah. But this guy was a genius in the Ottoman Empire and who's telling us all about it. And he was telling the stories in such, and regaling them in such interesting manner that I was a fan. I became a fan of the Ottoman Empire. Yes. What do you think more of the Roman Empire or the Ottoman Empire?
Starting point is 01:38:51 Oh, Roman, Adam. What about the Greeks, though? It's pretty cool too. I think about the Greeks a lot. Yeah. The Greek Empire is pretty damn cool. Yeah, definitely. No, Rome did not conquer every region by force,
Starting point is 01:39:05 while military strength was the primary driver of expatriation. Roman Empire also acquired territories through diplomatic alliances, treaties, and peaceful inheritance. What's crazy though? whenever you read about the Roman Empire, you always, like, depending on which one, which emperor you follow, whatever, you always hear some, like, kind of weird, bat-shit crazy system they invented for this one guy.
Starting point is 01:39:26 And then they'll be like, yeah, this guy, we decided that the royal guard is actually going to control this guy's life, and they're going to auction off the emperor. And it's like, what the fuck? When did this happen? And then I always think, like, man, they went through so many arcs of, like, weird shenanigans. And, like, are we doing that right now? Is this our weird shenanigan arc? Like, we...
Starting point is 01:39:44 Definitely. You got through the time period? Like, that gives me faith that will stabilize it. And then I think, well, the Roman Empire did collapse. Yeah. Every empire collapses eventually. Yeah, they said Rome would never fall. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:56 But we have nukes now, and that's the other thing that we didn't have back then. Yeah. Yeah. They just had the truth nuke. They'd be like, if you don't sort this out, no more sex with. So why did the Roman Empire fall? It was the barbarians, right? It's like a barbarian takeover or something like that?
Starting point is 01:40:18 I think this is a something that a simple AI thing cannot capture. Okay. The fall of the Western Roman Empire. Yeah, there you go. The Germanic barbarian king was the one who took it over. Ah, okay. Interesting. And they were like, Rome will never fall and then the Germans are like,
Starting point is 01:40:34 yeah, I don't think so. Oh, to be fair, though, they had a good fucking crack at it. Yeah. You have to credit credits, too. They had a fucking good go. Very long. Yeah, sure. Generational, if I would say.
Starting point is 01:40:46 Yeah. I mean, if you're talking about the goat of empires, it's got to be up there in contention. Yeah. The goat of empires. Hey British didn't do too bad too. Yeah, British didn't do too bad. I mean, weren't they like the biggest empire, you know? I think by total land.
Starting point is 01:41:02 No, by total land, it was the Mongolian empire, right? Yeah, it might have been. Yeah, actually you might be right. Yeah. Google it. Google it. What is the biggest empire? What is the biggest empire in history? Yeah. Oh, it was the British empire.
Starting point is 01:41:14 Wow. 22% of the Earth's landmass. Damn, dude. Damn. But they did have that banger saying, the sun never sets on the British Empire. Oh,
Starting point is 01:41:24 but I guess with the British Empire, it was kind of like spread out across the earth, whereas the Mongol Empire was the biggest, like, connected land empire. Yeah. That was she was impressive. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:34 Yeah, they didn't make it to America. No. They didn't try hard enough. Yeah. Damn, the Mongol Empire is crazy for having, like, the second even, even though it was like one dude. It was one dude and it was like hundreds of years before every other empire.
Starting point is 01:41:52 Look at that shit. It's kind of crazy how you just figured out how to use a bow and arrow on a horse and that's what changed every year. Yeah, one one dude owned 17, 18% of the world. That's insane. Everyone else, everyone else. The Geng is the goat. Geng is the go, man. Look at this generational run, man.
Starting point is 01:42:10 That's crazy, it took how many centuries for some someone to beat his record. Right? Like my God. Jesus Christ. And the Roman Empire wasn't even, did not even crack in the top 10. Yeah. But they have staying power. They did have the staying power, that's for sure. Yeah, because the Byzantine Empire was bigger than the Roman Empire.
Starting point is 01:42:30 No, no, no, it's down. It's right there. You just passed it. Oh, we passed it? Oh, yeah, yeah. There it is. There it is. Byzantine Empire. I fully said Bisonger Empire for a second. No. No. I was like, Joe, you're starting an empire? That constitutes two households, I believe. We're slowly. We're slowly getting there. Slowly getting there.
Starting point is 01:42:47 What damn. Do you think, do you think we've seen the last empire to ever, to ever be a scene in history? Is this the fall of empires? I just don't think we call them empires anymore. Yeah, I know, right? Yeah. Yes.
Starting point is 01:43:02 Yes. There might be one cocky motherfucker who's like, this is an empire now. Well, I mean, there's not really any point in war anymore. Yeah. Yeah. Like you can't. Are you sure about that?
Starting point is 01:43:15 Are you sure about that? Like you, you, I mean like, look, if it's like a, China tries to fight the US, it's like, well, we get nuked into oblivion, both, both sides. It's like, yeah, there's literally no point. I mean, they might do it still. I'm not saying that because we've seen them, they do a lot of things with no points.
Starting point is 01:43:32 But like, it's not like you could take over a place, occupy it and then like, yeah, it's kind of chill now. Like everyone's, everyone's super cool with that. And like, you, they're fine. I mean, I don't think it ever was, to be honest. I think they were kind of... Well, if you kill them, they can't complain anymore. They were kind of forced to be chill.
Starting point is 01:43:51 Well, yeah, but it was kind of like fair game when you'd be like, oh, what's the Romans up to? Go on then. I'll fuck around in Turkey. You can have, you can have whales. Yeah. You know, they... So there's...
Starting point is 01:44:04 Obviously, there's not much reason, right? I mean, it's kind of hard to... And even though wars are waged, We don't see the kind of massive land overtakes that we used to see. You don't see like the Mongol expansion 30 years of taking all of fucking Asia. Damn, the good old days, man. The good old days. The good old days.
Starting point is 01:44:24 No, you'd be like a peasant, like brick worker or like a mud layer. And you'd be like, what's happened today? No, not much. You wouldn't even know. You'd be like, who's our leader today? Oh, I don't fucking know. Like, we're in an empire? Which empire we're in today?
Starting point is 01:44:39 be like, where is my bread? Where is the bread, guys? I'm just saying Elaine Breaks, bro. All right, shall we get to the next list? Yes, I forgot we did conspiracy theories. Yeah, one more. All right. I think this is the most amount of fucking tabs we've had open in an episode. Is there like one that you guys want to cover? I don't really feel strongly about any of them, to be honest to be.
Starting point is 01:44:56 Let's see. Cars is a post-human apocalypse. Explain. I've not heard of this one. Every human died and the cars inherited the earth. That's why a lot of the infrastructure is still built for humans, although there's no humans in the world. And cars run everything. Like, they're the president, they're the people.
Starting point is 01:45:14 Cars of governments, culture, and religion. So when did- No explanation for the origin? So when- So when did cars become sentient? Well, yeah, that's weird. Because, like, have you ever seen the picture of the anatomy of the inside of a-
Starting point is 01:45:27 No? No, I had not seen it. Inside of a car. Inside of a car's Pixar. There's like, yeah, because, like, you know how, like, they talk and stuff. Yeah. Looks weird.
Starting point is 01:45:38 So, like, they recognize- Right, because they have like a brain and like they have tongues and shit. So like, so audio listeners, let me describe this. Yes, audio listeners. I don't like that. So we have a brain of right where the driver's seat should be. And we can, it's almost like one of the anatomy kind of like slices you see of a human. Except it's squeezed into a car and it's kind of like a lovecraft.
Starting point is 01:46:09 horror creature right now. Yeah, because like they gotta have, they have mouths and, you know, yeah, but, so they, presumably there's, there's some biological components inside, and how, or are they like humans, like, merged with cars? Oh, like a new subspecies of human.
Starting point is 01:46:27 Yeah, like some kind of biological fucking, how do they fuck? Yeah. Can we Google how do the cars fucking cars? Well, I mean, cars have exhaust pipes. Can we Google how? Yeah, but, so there's an entrance. Yeah, but your mouth is a, That's the fucking heinous.
Starting point is 01:46:40 That's the butt, Joey. How do cars reproduce Reddit? Let's have a look at what it says. Oh, my God. Been a while since I watched it, but I think there's got to be some sort of factory location that basically works like nesting grounds, spawning sites.
Starting point is 01:46:52 My guess is that cars and the settling are asexual but not aromantic. So they don't reproduce. Maybe there's like an overlord. They have like a car fucker. A car fucker. Bring in the car fucker. Or it could be necromancy.
Starting point is 01:47:09 What if they're like necromancy? They're all like dead bodies like fucking resurrected into like these puppet cars. Oh, that's that's interesting. That's interesting. I was thinking because there are actual people in the real world who want to fuck cars, you know. Um. True. I mean, I mean, who's the horniest car and cars?
Starting point is 01:47:29 Can we Google that? I, I'm not gonna lie. I've, it's been way too long since I've seen the cars, maybe. Yeah. Let's just see what it comes up for Google. Who's the horniest car and cars? What does the AI say? Doc Hudson.
Starting point is 01:47:43 Well, there is no canonical horniest car in Pixar universe. Doc Hudson, the fabulous Hudson Hornet, is literally the Hornet. Oh, he's just a fucking Hudson Hornet. I like that it continues into real cars after this. The Chevrolet Corvette, often cited as one of the most historically attractive and sexiest cars ever made. Let's have a look at this. Let's have a look at this real-life sexy car. The Chevrolet Corvette. I mean, I think Colvettes look sick as fuck.
Starting point is 01:48:11 I know basically zero things about cars. Corvettes are pretty fucking sexy cars, I will say. Nah, come on, that's a sexy car. Oh, this is like the car drawn on five. This is like the... Dude, I'd like to see you try. This car is like the, you know, the default top tier car in GTA. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:31 It's like the car is... I need to steal fast car generic one. I mean, there's probably a reason for that, right? Yeah. It's the nicest to look at. I just love the fact that there's like some data center somewhere that had to like fucking crunch the numbers on which car was the horniest in cars.
Starting point is 01:48:45 And we didn't pay a penny for it. Someone had to pay for that. Someone figured it out. This is why our RAM is like triple the cost. These are actually the best cars to have sex in. What the hell is this? The Jeep Grand Rangler is the best car to have sex. That's the car you're drawing at five years old.
Starting point is 01:49:01 The Keir Carnival. There's nobody fucking in a Kear. No one's getting pussy in a Kia. Okay. You see motorhome? That doesn't count to motorhome. Yeah. The rental type C.B. Coupé Deville. From 1912. Isn't that the Titanic car? Yeah, maybe. Yeah, that is the Titanic. Yeah, you'd be fucking. I feel like there's not enough space, surely, right? The WienerMobile. Fair enough. 70 station wagon. I love station wagon. I love station wagon. Yeah, so good. Jeep Wrangler.
Starting point is 01:49:31 Look at all that space. Oh my God. Ford Model A. What's that one? Oh, bro, you know we're fucking in the Ford bottle, like. The Cadillac sedan. Oh, I love a good Cadillac, bro. Do you don't want a Cadillac? They're so fucking sick. They're huge. When I see people driving them in Tokyo, they look so fucking cool.
Starting point is 01:49:50 I don't know how people can drive those in Tokyo. Why? They're not that bad. The Cadillac's are massive, bro. Yeah, but they've got energy. They do. I love that. Raw sexual energy in a car.
Starting point is 01:49:58 It's about the aura. It is the aura. It is the pure aura. Well, we've ruined our Google search history today. Yeah. It has been thoroughly ruined, unfortunately, by... I mean, hopefully we get more search results from the Roman Empire.
Starting point is 01:50:13 But let us know down below which conspiracy theory or tangent you enjoyed most today, because my God, we went on some tangents. Oh, yeah, Jesus Christ. Was this even an episode about conspiracy theories? No. We started off and we derailed this so fast. I started asking weird Google questions.
