Hey, welcome back to another episode of The Trash Taste Podcast.
I'm your host, Joey, and I'm with the boys, Goner and Gone, as usual.
And today we're running it back to a Trash Taste Classic, if you can say.
We're doing viewer-submitted anime 3x3s.
So we asked you guys over on the Patreon, patreon.com slash Trash Tase, for those of you don't know.
We asked you guys over there to send in your anime three-by-threes, your nine best or, you know, most memorable anime.
It could be anything.
But we're throwing in a little bit of a game.
I think we did this last time as well, didn't we?
We're throwing it a little bit of a game,
for those of you don't know,
where we have to guess what kind of a person made this three by three.
What kind of a person?
What kind of man?
What kind of creature would create this?
So it's like we have to guess like age, gender,
occupation, I think, and where they live.
Yeah, I mean, I kind of did a stream like this recently.
And I think it's more fun.
It's sort of being like, you know, bang a show,
bang a show.
of that show, great taste.
Let's all suck each other's dick for a little bit.
You know, I feel like a three by three
can say a lot about the, a lot about a person.
It's a personality read, right?
It is, it is a personality read.
Evangelian fans putting it as the number one show.
Yes, yes, let's all suck up.
Yeah, yes.
See what this is turned into is astrology for we.
You know, it's like, show me your three by three.
Ah, yes, I see.
Oh, your death note waxing, I see.
Mercury and retrograde?
No, ping pong the animation says a lot about you, my friend.
So yeah, let's go through them and we'll obviously, you know, judge your taste as well,
but we're going to try and get a read on who you are, what you do.
Who do we think you are?
Who do we think you are?
Yes.
So let's look at the first one.
Okay, so the first one.
Okay, so we've got silent voice, attack on Titan, Violet Evergarten,
Chuneibyo, Initial D, Free Ren, fucking, what's nice, Kaguya Samar, Chainsawman,
And is that Kimi Nito-Ki?
Yeah, it is Kimi-Di-Duke.
Yeah.
So...
Favorite anime's silent voice.
Gotta be younger.
I was like, I think the initial D,
always when I see like an older anime,
just like out of nowhere,
I always think that's bait.
You know, that is...
Yeah, it's so bait.
That is a younger anime fan
who has just gotten into anime.
And you remember that phase
where you're just going to an anime
and you're like,
I'm going to watch everything now.
I'm going to go back
and watch the class.
And you watch your, you go out and you watch some old shows and you're like, damn, okay, some of these kind of bank.
See, the biggest giveaway for me, I reckon this person is probably close to our age, considering the fact that have Chunebio in there, guaranteed they were like 13, 14 when they found Chuneubio.
Nah, no.
This changed my personality.
Here's, here's the reason why I think they're young.
Kagiyosama.
You think so?
I think if you have, like, three brand new shows that are like on your three brand new shows that are like on your three.
three by three, you must be younger,
is my thought person.
So like, you got a free ran,
you got a, which, look,
I'm not saying free run doesn't belong
on a three by three.
Yeah, yeah.
But you got three ran and chainsaw man,
that's like the starter pack.
It's like you're playing Yu-Gi-o
with, you know,
the Exodia Give Me Pack.
I mean, I just says that
you probably haven't watched too many.
I don't know. I feel like
Cheneubio is like, if it were someone
like in a position where, okay,
let's say they got into anime, you know,
during the free ran
chainsawman era, right?
When I think, okay, I'm gonna go back and watch some older shows.
Okay, yeah, initially, obviously very famous.
So given.
Cheney would not come up.
I feel like you had to kind of be there to experience journey.
You underestimate the power of like new anime fans
actually going back to watch anime,
because I think we made this mistake a lot in the previous three by three
where we were surprised that.
We usually assume people don't watch old days.
Yeah, yeah, they don't go back.
Yeah, but what I've come to realize is that people will just watch shows
because they see a sick-ass, like, TikTok edit
or something, someone talk about it
on social media or something like that.
Have you ever seen a Chuni TikTok edit?
Well, no, you know what I will say, though?
Profile Pictures.
That's the big thing.
That's the big thing.
Always the total animation profile pictures.
Have you guys ever watched anime
because you saw a profile picture
or a cool image somewhere?
When you were younger?
Yeah, you wondered, like, what is it?
I keep seeing this, what is it from?
Yeah, yeah.
I remember I watched Trigone because I kept seeing, like,
the cool, like, character design of Vash.
And I was like, what is this cool person I keep seeing?
Watch Trygun because of it.
Knew nothing about it.
Fair enough.
Here's the reason why I think Kagya-Sama is the real determinant here,
because I feel like having popular shows,
popular recent shows on your 3-by-3 doesn't mean a lot
because sometimes when people get older,
they watch less shows.
So they just end up watching the most popular and highly acclaimed shows.
The reason Kagia is because I think romance,
shows take a, just hit different when you're younger.
It's always like some of my favorite romances for me are all like within like that
adolescent period where you're like, where you're like really, really searching for it the
most. And though I can still enjoy a romance, it definitely hits less hard the older you get
is my experience of it. So that would explain why Kimi Ni Todoke is on there. Because Kimi
It's pretty bland, if I remember correctly.
I wouldn't put it on my throne.
There's quite a lot of slice of life and romance here as well.
That's true.
Yeah.
So how old are you thinking?
I don't know.
20s?
And as well, we have to consider that normally if it's like an American fan or if it's like,
oh, oh, shit.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
You know, if this is an American fan or something,
they'll normally have like a show that aired on TV or something.
It's kind of like show us that that's what they got into it.
But I guess we have more information.
Yeah, we have the reasonings for each one.
I want to know with Chunebio.
Chenebio, I feel like I connected with weirdly.
I used to act similar and it's just so wholesome.
And Rika is the most adorable being ever.
Used to act similar.
So is she a girl?
I guess so.
And again, I'm thinking, was in her Chunei phase when she found Chunebue.
Because that's the only way you can really connect with it.
Okay, okay.
Because every character in that show is Chuney as far.
Yes, yes.
I mean, a lot of these, like, a silent voice and Vyla Evergenebush.
Garden, for example, a very like, you know, deep, emotionally resonant shows.
This person, I think, is definitely in touch with their feelings a lot.
Silent Voice, Violet Evgarden and Freeran.
Big three of, yes, I love to ponder and yes, I love to.
I think I'm in touch with my feelings.
Right, right.
I'm in touch with my feminine side.
I like to be in touch with my feelings a lot.
And, I mean, Attack on Titan.
It's just a...
That's a given.
That's just a fantastic show.
Given, based off their writing,
I've determined it is a British woman.
Really?
Yes.
Was they British spelling?
Yes.
They've used the word bloody,
and they've said sod.
Oh, yes.
Sod all the new spicy weird stuff.
They're definitely British,
because in their Kimino Todokea,
they say,
Kimino Todake is the most wholesome vanilla,
ordinary, boring romance I've ever seen,
and I rate it so much for that.
Sod all the new spicy weird stuff.
So 100% British.
What do you reckon 20?
And also British people do like to describe things as sick,
quite a lot.
I know what I think is too,
but British people also have been doing that
for very long time.
Australia's do as well.
Yeah.
So definitely a British woman.
I think they're younger based off of the fact that
what are the thing, early 20s?
Yeah, I think early 20s.
I think a little bit later than early 20s.
I think, I'm gonna throw in 26, 27.
that kind of age range for me is,
is that, right now that's what I'm thinking.
What do you think they'd do for a job?
It's very hard to determine a job
from the anime preference.
Can we go back to the three by three?
Just like, I'm gonna look's.
Mm.
Mm.
Binged initial D, but isn't a car person,
is what they said as well.
Right.
Which is quite interesting,
because normally when people get into initial D
it's because they're kind of into cars.
Yeah.
Which means that perhaps,
hmm, maybe a partner or a significant
Are there a friend?
It would have been like, you should watch initial D
or just maybe hearing the memes.
But are initial D stocks still high?
Are memes of initial D's still in?
It's...
It wanes, right?
Yeah.
Right now it's kind of on the download.
Right?
Yeah.
But, I mean, it was a big part of meme culture.
I mean, at least the soundtrack was.
I would say, like, what's like five years ago?
Would it be more than five years ago?
I would say...
I think five years ago.
is when it probably like started petering out.
But yeah, it was quite,
I too extremely popular,
you know,
10 to 5 years ago range.
Yeah, yeah.
So perhaps, yeah, I do actually,
maybe the initial D is a giveaway
of someone who's maybe slightly older.
Because would you think a younger person
would watch initial D?
Unless they either were just interested in cars
or they are really want to be like,
I want to watch a classic.
Yeah.
Just, I mean, the music, Europe beat is just great.
So it just transcend borders.
We know British, probably a girl, probably mid-20s,
but the job is going to, this is going to be a tough for everyone, the job.
You're just going to have to throw a dart at the dartboard at this point.
I'm saying teacher.
You're saying teacher?
Yeah.
Ooh.
I don't know.
She's giving me teacher vibes.
No, I don't think so.
You don't think so?
No, I don't think she's a teacher.
I also, the main reason I think she's, I don't know, the,
the main reason I think she's younger is that on her reasoning for silent voice,
she said like,
I changed her view on forgiveness.
And I think that's kind of what a young person would say.
You think so?
You think so?
Yeah, because I think I think younger people have an outview on like mistakes and forgiveness
of someone who hasn't had the time to make any yet.
And so their perspective changes on it as they get older and they make more mistakes
and realize we're all infallible.
So I think,
I really hope that she's not a teacher then.
And if she halfway through,
started watching silent voicing,
like, maybe I should be a little bit more
forgiving to the children.
Maybe I should stop beating them.
What the fuck?
Maybe I should learn to figure of you.
I'm gonna say,
20, I'm gonna say 20 college student.
You say 20 college student?
I'll say 24 teacher.
I'm gonna say 26.
And we all think British?
And like, well, we've confirmed, I think, British.
Unless.
So girl, we all think it's around early 20s.
Yeah.
And who knows what she does for a job?
Let's find out.
Yeah.
Let's have a reveal.
19.
Damn, you are right.
Is she a girl?
M.
No!
What's the country? At least be England.
Oh, there are.
England. Worcestershire.
Okay.
Professional students.
Oh, man.
Bro, I nearly fucking puff up the shit out of this.
You got the soul read, man.
Dude, the fact that we completely misgender,
that's not a double-gible.
We did assume the gender.
Well, because I fucking, they said, like,
I relate to Trini Beer.
I was like, oh, okay.
Did you do a girl?
Well, Rika, the main character is.
That's what I thought.
Well, you assumed.
I didn't know.
That you assumed a gender.
You assumed that.
Can I get the easiest thing wrong, though.
What?
The 50-50.
Yeah, you're like definitely a girl.
I locked in so fucking hard on everything else.
I could be a great profiler.
I figured out that they were from England.
Okay.
Fuck, I was so spot on with everything else.
I'm so pissed.
Sorry for misgendering you being.
I just said some elbow shit,
but missed out that fucking light was the,
was like a white.
It's a, it's a line right next to you, buddy.
You're like, there's this person
very light-like, but I can't figure out who this killer is out.
I'm the FBI agent that dies in that one episode.
I'm like, I figured it perfectly out, and I only, he's like,
really? That's so close.
But I have a penis!
All right, next up, that was case one.
We're just warming up.
We're just warming up.
All right, we're gonna walk in.
We gotta walk in.
Because you know we've done this before,
and we've got like pretty close a couple of times.
Do you reckon they feel like, damn, really, it says that much about me?
No, they were like, that was a good, great.
I feel like I'd feel hella called out if someone managed to lock me down on my like picks.
But then again, if I, if you put monster, I just assume you're like, dirty.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
And I'm like, yeah.
Okay.
No need for an ID.
Okay, case one, we were pretty close.
All right.
Let's go case two.
Let's go to case two.
Okay.
Picking girl is a hell of a guess when I think our audience is like 90% dudes.
That is true.
But also it's just the fact that you were so cold.
You're like, girl.
I go so too.
All right, let's rip it.
All right, case two, what do we got?
Oh, geez, wow.
I feel pretty confident this is a guy.
We got Nemesign, fucking classic, Psychopass, Mori Bito,
Helsing Ultimate, Spice and Wolf, Black Lagoon,
Claymore, Fate Zero and White Album, too.
Definitely.
A lot is old.
In their 30s.
Okay.
Definitely in their 30s.
All right, hello, Anka.
Hi, nice to meet you.
Their favorite anime is Black Lagoon,
and their description is, I like strong women.
Yeah, dog, we know.
Yeah, this dude is my age.
It's like I'm looking at myself 15 years ago.
Because you got, you got Fate Zero and White Album 2 in the same category.
God.
Yeah, literally every show has a strong female character in it.
So we respect that.
You do like a girl that can kick your ass.
Are you okay, boy?
Are you okay?
I'm unfamiliar with some of these shows, and perhaps some of the viewers are too.
We've spoken about quite a lot of these on the pod,
but we've never spoken about White Album 2.
Or Moribito.
Yeah.
Okay.
Or the other top left one.
Nemesign.
Nemesign.
So could you just explain to me what those shows are?
So White Album 2.
I'll start with White Album 2.
Go on.
Okay.
It's basically school days.
Okay.
Okay.
Kind of.
Got it.
All right.
Kind of school days without the murder at the end,
but it's definitely up there.
Just like cheating and shit.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's the messy kind, for sure.
Peak mid, I think it's either late,
too, mid.
It's peak like late 2000's early 2010's,
trashy, melodramatic romance,
that if you like that genre,
which, spoilers, I do,
it's that kind of show that not a lot of people talk about,
but not a lot of things are getting made anymore.
Then we, obviously, we have,
Playmore, which is an OG dark fantasy.
Dark fantasy.
I'm much more of the manga fan of this,
because the ending of the anime kind of shit the beds.
This was back when they started doing,
this is back when they started doing anime original endings.
Moribito is also an old production IG.
I can't remember if it's just a fantasy or historical anime.
I think it's a historic fantasy.
Yeah.
It's one of those shows.
that blood's like, blood's taste is stuck in 2007.
Like, this is...
I mean, because Nemesign is like peak, like,
super gory dark fantasy horror.
Yeah.
That was like, you know,
kind of around the Elfin Lead times,
you know, the Higorashi times,
where it was like super graphic.
I think that's Zebek as well, studios.
But yeah, very I'm 14 and this is deep show.
Yeah.
I want to see the reasonings for these, actually.
Other than, other than strong women.
We don't need the reasoning.
We don't have the reasonings.
They didn't provide the reasonings,
but I don't think we need to see the reasonings
for some of these shows.
Yeah, so, male at least late 20s, I want to say.
Nah, no, this is 30s.
You reckon solidly in the 30s?
This is solidly in the 30s.
Yeah, I think like 31.
I think older.
I think they're pretty like my age.
These are all the shows that I got into anime with.
Black Lagoon, Fate Zero.
A lot of 2000s.
Actually, all these are 2000s.
See, the newest show on here, I think is Psycho-Pass.
That is the newest show on here.
So nothing really stuck with them.
Yeah, so they must have stopped watching anime.
Like, they must have stopped watching anime.
And I'm going to guess it's because maybe they got older.
They had, like, less time.
So they were a lot more selective in the anime that they watched.
And the fact that their newest, new anime, the newest anime on this list is Psychopass.
This is not my old account, I swear.
No.
So what age do you think?
Definitely like at least early 30s, late 20s.
I'm going to go like mid 30s.
36.
Damn.
I'm going to go.
Bro is, bro is.
You're feeling the energy of a fellow roller?
Yes.
Yes.
It's a guy.
Yes.
And country, really hard to discern with this one because there's no kind of hints of.
But I do think possibly America just based off a,
Helsing, Zero, Black Lagoon, Claymore.
Could be Canada as well.
Because Black Lagoon and Claymore and Helsing
were all shows that did air in America, specifically,
which did keep them a bit of...
They didn't air in Australia so we can rule that one out.
Yeah.
Canada, America, essentially.
Yeah, North America, we'll just say...
Yeah.
Definitely a dude.
Dustin from Sacred Symbols here,
you know when you're in the middle of a heavy recording session,
editing a show,
or just trying to get real work done on the go,
and your laptop starts slowing down,
or burning up in your lap?
It's the worst.
So, what does it actually feel like to switch over to a better laptop,
like the Dell XPS powered by Intel Core?
For starters, it's built with a premium design that's incredibly thin and light.
So it feels smooth, meaning far less weight on your shoulders when you're packing up for travel.
Then you open it up and the responsive touchscreen makes scrolling, zooming, and swiping feel
completely fast and precise.
Everything just flows.
Best of all, with its long-lasting battery life, it feels like non-stop.
energy. You get a better way to work without being chained to a charger all day.
Built for those who want better. The DellXPS built for you.
Definitely, definitely like this is the kind of dude that owns all of these shows on DVDs.
You know, but these, these are, okay, no, I've got it.
So many of these are peak, I found this from Funimation.
Yeah, yeah.
That's what I was thinking.
I found this from like, Funimation, Genion, if you remember of that.
Black Lagoon, Moribito, Helsing, Claymore, Memo, I think, as well.
Spison Wolf.
I think that's the original Spice Wolf.
These were all like, Pek.
I bought this at a DVD.
I bought this DVD at an anime shop or an anime convention.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, kind of kind of deals.
These are all the ones rated R.
Yeah.
So we all think 30s to mid 30s, male, probably from America.
Yeah, North America, let's say.
And then profession, no fucking idea.
Software engineer.
I was thinking.
I was thinking, I was thinking engineer.
I was like, what's a profession that we can have a lot of expendable income to buy all these in DVD? Software engineer.
I was thinking like programming or something. Yeah, yeah, 100%. I think bro is in the sciences, maybe on the engineering side. Okay. All right, open the case. Yeah. Open the case. What have we got? What do we got?
Oh, my God. Oh, shit. Male? Mail?
Yeah. And he's Swedish.
Fuck.
Heavy vehicle.
Yo.
To be fair, his name, I was thinking, like, his nickname is sounds kind of Nordic or could be.
Halak.
Yeah.
Well, Halak knows what he likes.
Hey, man.
Bang a three by three.
Oh, we're good at this.
We're good at this.
We're pretty good.
Yeah, we're getting into this.
Imagine that if there's a crime that needs to be solved and the only thing they have is
his three by three left in the apartment.
We'd be able to figure out who it is.
He's like still warm.
He's around here somewhere.
Interesting.
Gintama.
Says a lot about a guy.
Bad body odor.
All right.
Open up the next case.
Yes.
What do we got?
We resolved that one.
Damn.
All right.
Holy shit.
Okay.
This guy.
This is going to test my shows.
This is Joey.
Okay.
So we got Shimoneta.
What's that middle one?
It's the one where the skeleton runs a bookshop.
I can't remember the show.
Oh, from a couple of years ago.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then Mononoke.
One okay.
Um, fuck, what's that one again?
Oh my God, what is the name of that show?
I know it, let's skip.
Uh, a hosukee's cool, that in this.
And Honda-san, that's the one.
Singokubasara.
Singokubasara.
Gintama.
Gintama.
You're talking about.
Oh, Rond High School Host Club, Hellgirl and Overlaw.
Wow, what an interesting choice.
Let's go back to the thing first.
You're gonna look.
Okay.
I feel like I'm looking at Baby Joey.
Yeah.
I mean, I...
It's not exactly your taste, Joey.
No.
But I haven't seen the bookstore one, the Scullus and Bookstore one.
So this is somebody who is pretty deep in anime.
Yeah. Pretty deep.
Yeah.
Very, very deep in anime and has explored a wide range of...
wide range of genres, I would say there is not a single mainstream pick on here.
The closest one would I guess be Gintama and Overlord, but it's no like shonen, big shonen action
show. It's not like the big three or anything like that.
So they're probably someone who got into anime quite a while ago and then stayed with anime
for a very long time.
And their favorite out of these nine is Singul Gubasara, which I've never been.
I've never made anyone who said Singoku Basada is their favorite anime.
In all due respect.
I've never watched Singoku Basara.
Can you explain to you what it is?
It's basically just feudal Japanese sort out a line is the only way I can do.
Is there a lot of fan service in that one or am I thinking about another?
No, that's the...
Navi, have you watched it?
Just one episode, but it's more like, oh, it's, uh, Tokugawa.
He has to, like, kind of trying to fuck up, uh, Nobu Naga.
Ah, historical.
It's a battle kind of place for anime.
I mean, like, obviously, as I said, historical soil online.
So probably somebody who's quite into Japanese culture, more than just anime.
Yeah, I mean, you have Monanouke, Singokabasara, and, uh, what's the one on the left again?
I can't remember.
She won't enter?
No, no, no.
Oh, Horsaki's cool-headedness?
Horsakies cool-headedness, which I haven't, I haven't even watched that one.
I haven't watched it either, but I'm pretty sure it's a shenan jump, like, like, kind of a low-key, supernatural sherman jump.
read some of their reasonings.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Let's show it out.
A bit better the duct here.
Shumanita, I have a great love for dirty humor and I love the totally unapologetic
social commentary of the show.
On the sand.
It's a soothing yet hilarious show for me and I enjoy the peek behind the curtain of bookstore's
inner workings.
Ayakaashi, my favorite horror series along with the spin-off Monanoque, totally underrated.
Hoseki's cool-headedness.
You can tell where the Monke did their homework for the folklore and religious beliefs.
I love the inclusion of so much mythology.
I also empathize with Hosokie's workload, and this is my favorite depiction of King Enma.
uh single kubasara historic history comedy drama and badass fights the entire series hits every sweet spot i have
and even when it goes completely off the rails gintama see above but with some of the same of
sorry um but story arcs and comedy in the medium i also love how gintama is the deadpool of anime and
the king of parody the dead full of anime that's a good way to put it actually uh or on high school
host club the manga is better and the ending here is god awful but this is still a comfort series
for me i just skip the last two episodes and keep watching the
Okay, so comfort series or on high school is.
Yeah, so probably a girl.
Probably girl and also probably a little on the older side.
I would say so.
Yeah.
Hellgirl, this is my very first horror anime,
and the one that awakened my love for the genre.
It's still a masterpiece of great morality.
Overlord, as a fantasy lover and D&D player,
this is the Isakai of My Dreams,
the epic power levels are an added bonus.
Okay, so.
So Helgo was their first horror anime.
So definitely 2000s, fans since the 2000s,
which, again, would put it out like.
late 20s, only 30s, I'd say.
Yeah, I feel like there's even like a good chance this person might be Japanese or like
half Japanese like Joey.
I mean, I look at this and it's kind of like a mix between some really like some really niche picks,
but some picks that really, you know, you have to really like deep, like deep,
Japanese folklore and culture.
Yeah, there's a lot of like yorkai shit in here.
We need to ask for that race next time.
We need to guess the rest.
Oh, now we're racially profiling, mom.
We should racially profile.
We should.
God's like, hmm, looks like a half-breed.
It's like, what?
I'm seeing mixtures of Asian and here.
Yeah.
This ink and speake was brown.
Oh, no.
No, no, because, because there's so much about like, with Hellgirls as well, right?
It's so steeped in like...
Yeah, that's completely like Yorkishu.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, right?
Same with Ayakashi, same with Gintama, same with Horsuki, like...
And again, like, they like the social commentary of Shimonetza.
So they clearly like a Japan-a-Holic, if you can call it.
Yeah, they very much like the culture.
They love Japan.
And I think some of these shows, it goes beyond just being like, I'm a big weeb.
Yeah.
I kind of, you know, have experience with this kind of background and environment,
and that's what really draws me towards it.
And they've also said that they did their homework for the folklore and religious beliefs.
So they're quite knowledgeable about Japanese folklore and religiously.
So it could be, yeah, like you said, either brought up in some kind of Japanese household
or is extremely knowledgeable about it.
Yeah.
Does that mean that?
Yeah, but this could be like the average person from Finland.
Yeah, that's what I was about to say.
Like, you don't have to be Japanese to know this shit.
It could be, yeah.
Like, you will meet the most knowledgeable person
Japanese culture in the middle of like Tampere family.
Yeah, they could be like French.
Yeah, oh, true.
There are, dude, there are so many in French.
So many Japanophiles who are French.
Yeah, yeah.
This is a tough one.
It's a tough one because it's either,
it's either they kind of have experience with the culture
or maybe they have a profession where it requires
a lot of research, maybe they are, you know.
D&D player.
they're probably Americans
only Americans play that game
well I'm not saying it's only Americans
but it is a very American-centric hobby
I could just
you know I mean in the UK it's
it is a thing it's just way less
of a thing all right
what gender are they a guy or a girl
girl? I think there are a girl
I know we got this wrong ones
but there is something about
our high school host club
that is specifically
a comfort show.
Guys don't watch that.
I fucking, I fuck with it, heavy.
But like, for it to be my comfort show
implies that I probably was watching it
late night TV in the US.
Yeah.
And I'm a girl.
But they said the manga was better.
Yeah, because they, look,
I mean, look at the other shit they watch.
They've read the entire manuscripts.
They probably read Nobunaga's fucking diary.
Look at this shit.
I got him.
I say as I've been to his grave.
Yeah.
You're a freaking.
For me, it's the combination of Oren High School Horse Club, host club, and Hells Club.
Horse Club.
Girl, why no way, girl, girl, girl, girl, horse girl.
Horse girl.
It's a combination between that and Hellgirl as well.
Yeah.
What's Hellgirl?
It is, it is...
2004, I think it was, like horror, psychological horror.
Okay.
Yeah, it's psychological horror.
Girl's from horror.
Sorry, sorry, you've got to say this.
their point, but more eloquently.
Okay, okay, no, no, no.
Okay, it is this combination of, yes,
a lot of the girls that we know do like horror.
True.
But it also, every, like, every victim in Hellgirl, right?
It's as much horror as it is a revenge story of some sort.
Yeah.
Because every person that goes through something horrific in Hellgirl,
it's like they are paying for a bad deed that they did.
Sydney loved the shit out of this.
It was a good show.
It was genuinely a good show, but to bang her opening.
But to put Hellgirl on your three by three.
That's a different song.
That must mean, yeah.
Okay, you must really like horror.
This could have been Sydney if she didn't get into wine.
Yeah, yeah.
Sydney, if she got into.
And they're also, they're also an avid reader as well
because of their reasoning for Honda Sun, right?
It's like, I enjoy the peek behind the curtain of bookstores in a workings.
Yeah.
Women tend to read more than men, so.
Is that statistics?
That, that is statistics.
How did you say that?
Can we fact check?
Yeah, you can fact check.
I, yeah, I think women do read more than more.
Yeah, I do.
I do as well.
Don't try to call me out of this year.
No, no, no, no.
Because we have like trucks and bikes and things.
I know.
I don't know.
We have cool shit.
Look, look, guys, we are a podcast of three men.
Yes.
Okay.
We know what women like.
I know, I know.
We know women like.
We know women.
We can name women.
We can name a woman.
I can name a woman.
I can name a woman.
Yeah.
Give me a second.
And I can name women.
I can name one.
And I, okay.
And also, Gintama is a very like,
gender neutral Shonen show as well.
If I've seen it equally loved by,
Wow. Girls and Boys.
Yeah, there you go.
Okay, roughly 78% of women report reading
at least one book a year.
Is 71% a man read a book a year?
That's gotta be cope.
That's over, me and my an aptitude
of not reading one book a year.
It's like, does manga count?
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
So I think older woman,
Yeah.
With disposable income.
Yeah.
Because I think although D&D is a technically free hobby,
it often is not a free hobby.
No.
And often involves.
Lots of aesthetic choices.
I think they're probably American because they have
an Orrin House Club here as a comedy show,
which doesn't necessarily mean.
But, you know, I think for a...
This very much depends.
Because I think if you're older,
like I'm talking like 40,
probably on High School Host Club,
you got into it because it's airing on TV.
Whereas if you're like my age 30
and it's a comfort show,
is that because you kind of heard about it
and watch it online.
Yeah, yeah.
It was your first foray into it.
But Shimonetta,
mingham is a tough one too.
Yeah, because Gintam is so all encompassing though.
It's like, it's a popular show for a reason
because it's like anyone can get into it
at any time, really.
And certainly a Deadpool,
so probably a comic book person as well,
maybe slightly or somewhat.
Nah, I feel like that's their,
that's their extent of their comic knowledge.
Let's go back to look at the three by three
just because I like looking at it.
Yeah.
I think,
Late 30s, early 40s, woman, America.
I'm gonna say West Coast.
You gonna say America?
You gonna say, I'm gonna say Australia as well.
Yeah, I'm gonna say Australia as well.
I'm gonna stick with my guns and be like,
this is a younger Joey.
I think Asian Australian of some kind.
Yeah, I didn't have that much background in Faroe.
I do think Asian Australians, she,
we're just assuming gender's here.
She loves-
I mean, her name's queen.
Yeah, her nickname is queen.
Yeah, that's true.
Okay, we didn't see that.
She loves to, here's the thing.
This is, she's clearly the type of person
that really loves to look in deep with her passions.
Right.
Oh yeah, very much so.
She loves to research.
She is definitely the type of person
that knows the names of directors,
knows the names of mangakas,
and maybe is the type of person that looks into deep
in like the origins of a story
or what's the inspirations of a story are.
And that as much plays to her love.
the medium as much as the, you know, the thing itself, you know.
She has shimonetta on there, for example, which, you know,
oh, shimonetta, fan service, you know, wacky fan service show.
But it is a cool, like, social commentary as well.
It does say something deeper.
So I would say that this person feels like an academic.
I don't know.
That feels like an academic.
They do read books.
Yeah.
Someone who is an academic, maybe, I don't know,
I don't know if there is old as you guys are thinking.
I'm thinking, could be like even post grad or something like that.
It could be...
Sure, it could be a student who is studying Japanese folklore.
Overlord is kind of a giveaway, I think, for the...
Possibly being younger.
Yeah.
Is my feeling.
Because I think Orrin High School Hoist Club is just big enough where...
It's kind of evergreen, isn't it?
Yeah.
You think it's got motion now?
I do think it's got motion.
I think it's got motion, yeah.
Maybe not as much, but people are still definitely getting into it.
This person clearly goes...
goes across all genres and goes out of their comfort zone.
So I don't think, I don't think that's a determiner so much.
True.
I do still think that she is younger than Joey.
Can't put my finger on it.
I do think, I'm gonna go Australian, gonna go...
Software engineer.
When I don't know, I'll just say,
there's gotta be a software engineer among our fans somewhere.
I'm gonna go post grads, maybe doing their PhDs or something.
Sure.
I don't know why.
Just for the shits and gigs.
But just for the shits and gigs.
And yeah, I'm going to go 24, Australia.
All right, open the case up.
Wait, wait, right. I'll say 36, woman, California.
I'll say they have disposable income, probably.
What gives you the disposable income?
Everyone I know who plays D&D is sort of doing okay.
Because it's just, it's a hobby you can only take.
take up when shit's going okay.
True of that.
What would the job be then?
Let's say,
they're kind of a nerd
in a good way.
I'd have to preface that.
Oh, fuck, I'll say programmer.
All right.
Open the case up.
What do we got?
39.
Oh, I fucking told you that old
goddamn.
Damn.
Woman?
Yes.
Yes, yes.
Rip it.
Country?
U.S.
Damn.
Profession?
Phone monkey,
customer service.
Okay.
Damn, so why the fascination
towards, like,
the Japanese, like,
focal or mythology stuff,
I wonder.
I guess just hobbies.
Yeah.
Hey, I was pretty fucking close again.
Yeah, dude, you got there.
Damn it, I should,
I should, I should,
California.
See, I'm ripping, like,
I'm like,
I'm like rainbow.
You're just doxing them now, man.
I'm just docks them now, man.
Yeah, D&D is very,
America-centric. It's kind of a big giveaway. But obviously, we wouldn't have known that just
at the anime. That's just extra details, right? Like, I don't think I would have gotten close. Also,
did not have the courage to say phone monkey either. I'm just going to say that much.
Customer service. Never heard of being called a phone monkey. No. That's fun. I like that.
Of course you do. All right, case resolve. Let's check out the next three by three.
Uh, oh. 30 plus. I see monster right away.
How can we get killed, Samurai Champlu.
Okay, is that?
Akegimi a kill is the big determinant here.
They are my age.
Because there ain't no way that is on someone's three by three
unless they watched it when they were like 16.
I watched it when it was airing and it was peaked to me.
Okay.
When it was 14, it was deep.
Okay.
Connor's age.
Yeah, Monster is also the giveaway.
Natsamiuzin-cho.
We've got Horsuki's cool head in this again.
What's that on the bottom left?
Never seen that.
Klanad and then Orb.
They are definitely my age.
What's the top right and the bottom left?
Can we see the least?
Is that heaven official's blessing?
No, Moda Zushi.
Oh, the Chinese one, yeah.
Yeah, the Donghua.
Sayyun Kokomo, okay.
Yes.
We get some niche picks here, man.
Ah, see, Akamiga Kiel, my first anime.
My friend recommended it to me when I said I wanted to get into anime.
Luckily, I had no taste when I was 14 years old.
Well, that kind of, that kind of, uh...
You can only like Akamega Kiel.
Well, that kind of put a...
Well, then we know exactly how old he is.
What did it?
We don't do that.
We already knew that.
We already knew they were literally my age.
Yeah.
Like, we had already clocked that.
Samar Shamblu, absolute classic, incredible OST, not much more than it can be said about it.
Facts.
Moe-Dau-Zushi, post-LGB adjacent anime.
I know it's a Dongwa.
They didn't feel like it put fan service above the plot.
Story's incredible.
Monster.
Again, another absolute classic.
The best thrill of anime ever made.
That's a major, Eugene, Joe.
My favorite anime, while the first season drags a bit, the show becomes something truly special as it carries on.
It's truly an incredible vibe.
Hosukee's cool-headedness, my favorite comedy anime.
I love the setting, and while some of the jokes are incredibly obscure,
though if you have an understanding of Japanese culture, at least, partially, they can be really funny.
Zayun Korku, Monagatari, Guilty Pleasure Anime.
It was Apoketari Diaries before that was a thing.
I wish it was completed, Klanad.
I'm going to say it, I prefer season one.
Wow.
Wow.
That's crazy.
I'd just like the build-up to the main couple's relationship,
and it's probably the first anime to make me cry, though I still love Afterstory.
Orb best anime the decade so far.
The message you tries to put across is absolutely beautiful
and episode three shall stick with me for a long time.
I also really value completeness
which helps put orb above a couple of other great
animas this decade.
Right, so let's go back.
Yeah.
I think this person
is a woman as well.
Could be.
Yeah.
I reckon?
I think there is.
is a half chance.
Okay, well, yes.
There's always a half chance.
Fuck.
Exactly.
I worded that really badly.
You are right.
Because, okay, I mean, yeah.
I don't know if the top right right is throwing me off at all.
I haven't watched the top right one.
Is it good?
It's very good.
It's one of the first, like, Donghua,
that's really, I think,
think had some really great writing and production values because at the time this was coming
out, there was, you know, Chinese animation coming out, but they hadn't really found their
footing yet. And this was one of the first one that was like truly, truly highly rated.
Such a widespread. I'm, I'm trying to look at this. And kind of, kind of condensed down what kind of person
this is. So clearly, uh, we've established that definitely like Connor's age.
Yeah, late 20s, early 30s, that kind of age. Um, I have a feeling that's, what, wait,
what's the one on the bottom left again? Um, have you, have you seen this one, Joey? I know,
I know the name, but I've never watched it.
Google, Google Saoen Kokomo
Yeah, I want to...
It looks like a 2000s.
Yeah, what, when did this come out?
Guilty pleasure anime, it was a apothecary digest
before that was a thing.
What kind of anime it is?
I would love to know.
Okay, let's zoom in.
Well, it's got a decent rating, 7.86.
7.86.
So guilty pleasure, but guilty pleasure
that is still pretty highly rated.
2006.
2006.
Shureko, the daughter of a noble yet improbri-
impoverished family is a young clever lady who dreams of becoming a government official.
Yeah. It's a girl.
This is a girl.
Yes. Yes. Okay. Moodalzushi kind of made me think, okay. You know, you have some like,
it's not full on BL, but it's definitely that kind of like.
It has a whiff of it. Yes. Yes.
Yeah, I was going to say, because it's Chinese, right? Yeah, this is Chinese.
Not known for their LGBTQ.
Yeah.
That's true.
Not famous for it.
Yeah. This one never aired in China.
Yeah, so I think...
So early, what are we thinking? Early 30s female.
Yes.
I don't know why, when you say female.
You say it like that.
You got away with it.
What? I just said female.
Female.
As is the hard F?
Yeah.
Female.
You hit the hard F Joe.
Yeah, late 20s, woman.
I think American.
Yeah, I think this one, Californian.
Oh, you reckon?
I do think.
I'm smelling woke.
Yeah, probably West Coast America.
I was thinking West Coast America.
Probably near San Francisco.
Probably part of the...
Probably the area that Malian's from.
I'm, that's kind of, that's kind of the vibe.
Probably like project manager, system development or something.
You know, software engineer, one of those.
You think, you think software engineer?
I don't fucking know.
Can you clean any information of this?
I will, hmm, graphic design.
Graphic design?
Graphic design.
I will, can we?
I'm singing with software engineer because I'm, it's gonna hit one of these days.
It's got to be at one point.
There's got to be a one point.
I don't, I don't know.
I don't feel software engineer from, from this.
What are you feeling?
What does software engineers even like?
What, what's your profile of like,
what, what does an engineer watch?
Mate, there's no reasoning to this pick.
I just, I can't glean any information from this.
I'm just like, you know what, fuck it.
Software engineer.
Can you clean any information out of this?
other than what we've already established?
I'm not going to look at Samurai Champlain and be like,
oh yeah, she sharpens katanas.
There's no contextual clues.
They like lofi.
They like lofi.
They like lofi.
They like lofi.
So they sit at their desk.
What's the reason they like samurai champlain again?
The OST.
The OST, okay.
It's probably someone who works in a job that allows them to listen to.
Des job.
Yeah, pretty best job.
I do think they are in a creative field.
I think so, too.
Yeah.
Something about this leads me to believe they're in a creative field.
They obviously have an appreciation of Asian or Japanese culture,
like the previous person as well.
Wait, what do they say about Klanat?
Can I see that?
Yeah.
You prefer season, oh, hell, no.
Dog.
That's like walking to the three-star restaurant not going in.
Like, the fuck are you doing?
Yeah.
I do think they're employed because they are watching Orb.
Right.
So maybe they're not watching all of the current anime that is coming out.
But they're watching like one or two.
Yeah, none of them are the long-running ones as well.
Yeah, exactly.
So what are we saying?
I'm going to say artist.
Yeah, I think graphic design.
Yeah.
So we think late 20s, possibly like 30,
women, West Coast America.
Sure.
and in a creative field.
Some kind of creative feel.
Some kind of art.
Yes.
All right, let's rip it.
What do we got?
23.
Okay, younger.
Okay.
Female?
We are, okay.
Giving me West Coast America, come on.
Fuck.
No.
What's your prevention?
I'm,
fuck.
We're so wrong.
We were so wrong.
We're like the fucking polygraphs.
It's like we get it right
so great one time, but we're so off.
It's just the amount of like, it's just the amount of like confirmation.
It's just like, Sauncoku, definitely a female.
Orb definitely employing.
Like, one thing that I actually did think in their writing,
when they were writing favorite the British way.
And I was like, hmm.
Oh, yeah.
I don't know, man.
We also misgendered him.
Yeah, true.
We are not doing.
We're at 50% right now.
Yeah.
This is, this was probably the worst one so far for us.
We didn't get a single thing right.
We didn't even whiff.
We didn't with that.
Well, the 20s one.
Kind of.
Kind of.
You're like,
all definitely employed.
Unemployed.
Fuck's sake.
Well,
I could have just been unemployed.
I'm sure.
That's true.
That's true.
All right.
Let's go on this one.
Sorry, Yari Anonymous.
We misgendered you again,
my bad gang.
What the hell?
All right, we got Katta Nagatari,
Code Gias.
Joey.
Fruit Spasket, fully coolly.
What's that middle one there?
Akiba,
Akiba made something.
Akiba made wars.
Akiba made wars.
Sunny Boy, Lane, Mahotska no you're me,
and Hibika Euphonium.
Jesus.
Um, um...
This is Joey.
This is Joey's altar call.
Rain and Coley, Cooley.
Pretty damn close.
Fully Cooley and Lane being on there is...
And Katanagatri, pretty based.
Katanagatri is awesome pick.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Great pick. I mean, great picks all around, honestly.
HebeK Euphonium is all based.
So this person is definitely a thing.
is definitely a thinker.
Unemployed.
Definitely unemployed.
Definitely unemployed thinker.
Thinking too much to be employed right now.
All right.
Do we have the reasonings?
Let me see the reasonings.
All right.
Katta Nagatini, I fell in love with the art style
from the very first frame
and I love the chemistry
between two main characters based.
Kodias, fan of the mecha genre
chose this one because it has the best ending.
Unemployed.
Definitely unemployed.
Fruit's basket, favorite romance,
fully coolie wild animation and pillows.
You know what?
I think chance and chance.
engineer, software engineer.
Anyone who says that
Intermaccas, instantly, I'm like,
no, no, no, no. Look at their reasoning
compared to everyone else. They don't really care.
They are going for optimization.
True, true.
Fries basket, favorite romance, full stop.
You know?
That is all the information
that needs to be garnered. He does, like, this person
doesn't care.
Always do you listen to all the time and finally,
and finale is just cinema.
Sell, I just watched it the first time
because it seemed pretentious,
but then I ended up watching the MGS2.
MGS2 ending, you know.
Ancient Magist Bride,
a very comfortable fantasy vibe,
and then Hebeke Euphonium.
I love Nalkoyamaana and Gay Girls based.
MGS2 ending, is it like Metal Gear Solid?
Yeah.
Metal Gear Solid ending?
Yeah.
Oh, because it's similar?
It's very similar, yeah.
The Ancient Mags Pride, okay.
I love Naoko Yamada and Gay Girls.
Yeah.
All right.
YBKU phonem's got a lot of that.
Yeah.
Is it that, they got a lot of that in that?
Yeah.
I mean, it's, there's a lot of sexual tension.
I mean, it's not like Philon Yuri, but it's definitely like Yuri undertones, which is just, which is just the rave these days.
Ancient Magic Magis Prize is a weird one because it's one of those shows that you don't hear anything about, but there's like 30 people that fucking love it.
Yeah, I was about to say, it has a very hardcore fan base.
I don't know why it hits so hard with some people and just didn't connect with a lot of people.
It was a good show.
Some of these fantasy shows have a really unique vibe to their world.
And ancient Magosbrite has some fantastic world building,
especially when it comes to exploring some Western mythologies.
It's also very fanfic coded in the way that it's written, as well, I feel.
Wouldn't you say?
Fuck sake, Joe.
Do you know what I mean, though?
Yeah, yeah, okay.
It is fanfic coding.
Little Miss, was she a slave girl?
Little Miss slave girl gets brought out by a,
Bone daddy.
Yeah, bone daddy.
Yeah.
That's sad things, dude.
That's what I'm saying.
It's Tumblr core.
That's what I'm saying.
And they're a Hebegayaponian fan.
Definitely Tumblr.
First of all, definitely a guy.
Yes.
Yes.
I think definitely a guy.
Yeah.
I'm still like so heavy on the engineer slash software engineer.
I'm down.
I'm down.
The optimization, yeah.
Yeah.
Also, I mean, if you're a big fan of Mecca,
I'm more inclined to think you have some disposable income.
Because that is an expensive hobby.
I think that is an expensive hobby.
there's also a small chance they might be an idol fan as well. Yeah, yeah, I think so. Maybe not
idol fan, but at least like V-Tuber fan, right? Do you know what I mean? Yeah, I agree. What is Sunny Boy?
Sunny Boy is a show from the director of like One Punch Man and he went off and made this
really weird philosophical show about a bunch of school kids that got stranded in a different
dimension and they basically travel. It's, it's a weird show. It's really hard for me to,
you know, bore down its themes. But a lot of people would say that it's a modern day
fully coolly because it's very, it's, it's a lot more philosophical, but it has a banga soundtrack.
Soundtrack's so good. Yeah. I have it on vinyl. Yeah, it's got like one of my favorite
soundtracks in anime. It's very, very atmospheric and it really hits you with these deep philosophical
ideas. It's like six episodes, right? Yeah, I'm almost half surprised that.
Bro doesn't have orb somewhere.
Yeah.
Because orb would fit right here very, very well.
Katana Gatri, so they must be not a Rediter,
but somebody who spends time online because that is a show that is...
On forums.
Yeah, that is a show that obviously have no motion outside of, like, forums.
And it's a shame because it's a fucking amazing show.
Yeah.
Because, you know, it's just kind of not a deep cut, but...
Yeah.
It's definitely a Malform cut.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's like a Malfouram.
like 8.5 or something, like, damn, why is it so high?
I just love the discrepancy with having these shows.
A lot of these shows which require like some very, very deep thinking, very, very deep philosophical themes.
And then...
And then in the explanation, it's just like one line.
Like, I like the movie.
I like the OST, gay girls in it.
Yeah, fully collie, wild animation and pillows. Wow.
I've seen a full-word review before.
I think they're probably my age.
I think they're a little younger.
You think they're younger?
I think they're in mid-20s.
I think they're about 27.
I'm going to say...
I think they're in their mid-20s
where like the pretentious anime period
came quite earlier for them.
Well, what's giving you pretentious?
Even Katatigato to an extent.
Maybe they're just like psychological stuff?
Could be. I mean, they're all great shows.
I mean, even like fruits basket
as the favor romance,
it's definitely a little bit heavier,
compared to some other romances out there as well.
So, bro, is a deep guy.
And they chose the new fruits basket.
The new fruits basket as well.
So I think, yeah, probably 20s.
I venture more to late 20s than early.
Yeah.
Guy.
Country, definitely a guy.
Country.
Country's always hard.
Country's hard because there's no giveaways
to any particular one.
I don't know why.
Something about this is giving me Southeast Asia.
Like Malaysia, Singapore,
or something like that.
I've been to the conventions there
and some of these guys have some pretty
deep cuts. I feel like
this is one of them. No, I don't think this is one.
You don't think so? I don't think this is one.
No, because they'd have something like,
they'd have like five thinking animas
and they'd have like, they'd have one
so unapologetic like high school DXD.
DG station's rip that. Well, that's what I thought I'd keep a maid war
might be. No, no, no, no.
It's not this. It's not brain.
enough? No. No. No. It's not degenerate enough. And Keepa Maid Wars is a fucking wild show.
Yeah. Right. But I wouldn't call it like, you know, a guilty pleasure or anything like that.
I think they described it. And they said Yakuza side quest, which means they're a gamer as well.
They play Yakuza games. Play Jaka Zahua games. So I've got a lot of free time.
Oh. Unemployed.
Fan of the Mecca genre.
But if you were a real fan of Mecca,
you'd probably pick something else.
You'd probably put like a gun.
You would put something else, I think,
if you're truly a fan of Mecca.
Not saying you're not a real Mecca fan of Kyrgyz your favorite.
You'd put like an Erika 7 or like, you know.
Or a Macross or something.
Yeah, or Legend of Glyptycheros.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, something that says,
oh, I am a Mecca fan.
You know, because Meca fans.
All these other mega fans?
Because Mega fans are the only fans of a genre
that are afraid of being associated with like the normie version of that genre.
They're like, no, no, no, no, no, I can name the robots.
If my, if my show doesn't have four numbers in it in the title, that's not, I'm not into it.
So I think.
All right, what are we setting on?
I think late 20s.
I'm going to say, I said 27.
Yeah, late 20s.
I think realistically, I'm saying Southeast Asia dog.
I have a feeling.
It's boring, but they're probably American.
It's probably America.
It's probably American.
Profession, you think engineer.
I think engineer or software engineer.
Some kind of like, dumb, dumb, dumb, jump.
Yeah, it's like, no bullshit.
There is no gray.
It is all yes or no.
Okay.
Okay, let's rip it.
All right.
Let's open it all.
Okay.
27.
Yeah.
Male?
Yes.
Definitely a dude.
Male.
Okay.
Probably a country.
Oh, wow.
Kazakhstan.
Holy shit.
What you do?
bro.
Okay.
Environment artist.
Damn.
That's where the artist was.
Damn.
Holy.
Well, I wouldn't.
I didn't even know
that was a profession.
In my wildest dreams,
I never would have ripped
to Kazakhstan.
Yeah.
I'm so sorry.
Kazakhstanis.
Is I don't know if that's what they...
Yes.
Yeah, Kazakhstanists.
Environment artist.
Is that like video games?
I think so.
The areas, right?
Create the background.
Oh, okay.
Cool, dude.
Awesome.
Well, great fucking three by three, bro.
Damn.
And shout out of Kazakhstan.
Yeah.
Environment.
We were so wrong.
So wrong.
This is the opposite.
Yeah.
But we were spot on with the age and gender.
Sure.
Yes.
Which we've been pretty good at getting that pretty close.
Except for the times where we haven't, which is half of them.
Let's go to the next one.
Don't worry about that.
Age we've been pretty good with.
Yeah, yeah.
We have been pretty good with it.
All right.
Let's go check out the next one.
Oh, okay.
We got Paraside, Yu, Huck Show,
not a short walk on girl.
Uh, mobile suit, Gundam.
The what?
8th MS team.
Oh, the 8th MS team.
I don't know that one.
Detective Conan, Duraura,
Daze, Agretzko, and Samurai Chamblou.
Okay.
Wow, this is tough.
Hoff this list screams, I'm a girl,
and the other half screams, I'm a guy.
I mean, this definitely screams millennial.
Yes, yes, I agree.
You, Huxha, Durrara, Samurai Chambler.
Aggresco is an interesting one.
Right.
Let's look at the ones that might tell us something.
Yeah, Gretsko is a big show.
Agresco, would you relate to a Gretzko as much,
to put on your three by three, if you weren't already in the working world?
Yeah, yes.
I liked a Gretzco and watched three seasons of it,
but obviously didn't connect with me, because I'm not an office woman.
Yeah, it was just a good story.
But I felt like I could have been watching it.
Yeah.
Nothing stopping me.
Nothing stopping me from being off of school.
But I feel like,
You know, obviously the big tell about three by three is like you really have to like love a show, love love a show to put on your three by three.
And also, that's why I was thinking like, okay, we've got a volleyball anime, presumably in there.
I think days.
I think days is a football anime.
Yeah, I think so.
Underrated football anime.
Okay, bro is not American.
Oh, sorry, this person is not American because they called it football.
Um, so.
Wait, but they're not British either because they spot favorite.
No, no.
I, see, it's not just England versus America.
It is America.
I know, but it's good to rule those out first because those are the likely, you know, patrons.
Yeah.
So Parasite.
The music is great and I've always found myself going back to this anime,
aliens and humans who try to kill each other and understand each other's existence.
You Hachshare, my favorite anime of all time.
best villain and the best torment arc
plus the rest trip.
The night is Shork Walk on Girl.
This movie took multiple watches
to appreciate all the themes and art style
one of the best anime movies.
I never said anyone to talk about it.
Gundam, the 08th MS team.
Romeo and Juliet, but with Gundams
what's not to love about it.
Detective Conan, I love a story with a murder mystery
with an overarching plot driving everything forward.
This is more episodes than One Piece
so be prepared plus the drip.
They love the drip.
Having this many characters
and yet the plot
in interconnect all of them is great.
We get more time with these characters
than Bacano. True. That's kind of what I liked about.
Days, unready football anime. This is more grounded than down to earth
compared to football anime where everyone goes super-sayan.
I'm surprised to hear this anime didn't do well in Japan. I really like the story.
People's burnout at work and escapism.
Characters are so interesting.
Samar Champleu vibe the show and I've said,
Agretzko not doing well in Japan. Yeah, I mean...
It's too real.
It's a bit too real.
And also, okay, so...
They didn't say that...
Also, you can't fall in love in the office in Japan.
What up?
Cut of full in love in the office in Japan.
That is true. That is true.
You're not having fun.
Yeah, you don't have enough time for that.
But it seems like they rated the show for its like escapism and just like writing, right?
Rather than actually relating to them.
Yeah, I really like the story about people's burnout work and escapism.
Yeah, so I think...
So they're not actually in an office job.
They just like to Gretzgo because of the characters.
We don't.
We don't know.
Well, they never said that they never related to any of the characters.
He likes a story about people's putting out.
Okay, so the other big thing.
Okay, so there's, I think, I think there's two big shows where I'm trying to like,
I'm trying to like wondering if this is the real tell.
First one, days.
Okay.
Football anime.
They called it football.
Okay.
And you need to, they said it was an underrated football anime,
which means they have watched more than one football anime.
they are deep in the football love.
Well, I mean, they did kind of dis on Blue Lock as well.
Yeah, and there's no other sports anime as well.
So this person is, this person must be deep into football culture.
Now, which countries around the world are really passionate about football?
UK.
Not UK?
Not UK?
Not UK.
Brazil.
I would say a lot of South America are passionate about football.
Maybe this person is American, but maybe.
from South America.
He could be Mexico as well.
Could have some Mexican blood in them.
I smell Mexican blood.
Could be from another European country.
Fuck, I have no idea.
Okay, first and foremost, is it a guy?
That is tough. I'm having a hard time.
Yeah, I'm having a hard time.
It could honestly be either.
I'm leaning more towards guy
for this one.
I'm
it is tough as well
because a lot of these shows
I know like many girls
also love
as well
I'm leaning towards guy
I'm leaning towards
slightly towards guy
just because
Parasite
you hack a show
Mecca
yeah but for me
the ones that throw it off
a detective Conan
and a short walk on girl
and durara
and Durrara
is
is quite popular with female roles.
Yeah. Yeah.
As somebody used to make content around your hour.
Honestly, this is a pretty gender neutral three by three.
Being honest here.
They're non-binary.
We're doing a coin toss.
Gender neutral three.
Because like, do you like days because it's an underrated football anime?
Or do you like days because of the men in this sports anime?
Because there's a lot of sports anime that,
are popular with the girls because they, you know, they relates to all of the guys.
True dad.
All of the guys in the anime.
Oh, it might be a girl then.
Yeah.
So could be, could, could, could be, could, could be.
I'm going to rip a non-binary.
Lock it in.
I'm going to rip a non-bye.
Wait, what's the age though?
Ah, fuck.
Well, you, Huxa is their favorite anime.
So I'm going to say, older.
Older. 20s, early 30s.
I think older.
Are you reckon older, mid-30s?
33
Okay
Parasites
They probably are also around my age
I think
Yeah so early to mid-30s
I'd say
Yeah early 30s
What did what did you like about
Why do you think Parasite was like so massive
When you got into anime
Yeah
I think Parasite was just fucking sick
The music was awesome
Because it was at like peak
Dubstep era
Yeah
When Scrill X
was all the rage.
True.
And it was just,
it captured that vibe of like,
oh, fuck, right, so well.
Like, shit, we are lock in.
Yeah.
And I don't know.
This idea of being kind of a loser
and getting this power that makes you instantly cool.
And then also,
I think there's this pivotal moment where obviously in the show,
you know,
he kind of like lets the parasite into his heart.
It was kind of so cool.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Just a lot about it.
is just like, I'm 18 and this is sick.
But it's also like a great show for what I remember.
Yeah, it's a good show.
Not the same way that Acoma Gail was kind of bad.
Yeah.
Yeah.
This is definitely aged better than Archimacil.
Okay.
I'm just going to throw out some numbers now.
Sure.
I'm going to throw us out.
31, female, Canadian.
Okay.
I'm going to go with the graphic.
designer again. I don't know why. Okay, I'm going to say 29 female, uh, Mexico,
software engineer. I'm going to say 33, non-binary, German, German, uh, unemployed.
German government worker. Okay. Okay. Ripper. Okay, rip it.
36.
Okay.
Mail.
Okay.
You at a
New York.
And profession is
Auto tech.
Auto tech.
What is auto tech?
Just like fixes up cars.
Oh is it?
Isn't it?
Just a car technician.
Bro, I got like,
I'm completely off.
I'm like,
we're getting worse.
How are we getting worse?
I got none of those.
I'm like, bro is at 2 a.m.
In a German nightclub and is gay.
I'm like,
I'm like,
what am I doing?
inspects diagnoses.
Bro's listening to this.
Bro, he's like,
bro, what the hell this kind of thing I am?
Burr's holding a tire.
Just being like, don't fuck.
Oh, dude.
Bro wants to be in a German nightclub so mad.
He doesn't even know it.
All right.
Wander yourself into a German nightclub one of these days.
How many cases do we have, by the way?
Oh, you got 15.
We got 15?
Okay.
How far are we?
Six.
All right.
Open up case number seven.
Oh.
Well, you're fully call Elaine, girls last tour,
Grin Lagoon, made in abyss,
Mushishi, sole leader,
full metal like in his brotherhood,
interspecies reviewers.
Interspecies reviewers, they got a bono.
Bro's laughing as a gooner.
Yeah, brother's laughing as a gurner.
Like, interspecies reviewers.
I'm like, okay, bro.
We get a performative gooning right here.
Yeah, okay.
I have sexual vices too.
They are definitely older than 30.
And a man.
You reckon?
100%.
Well, soul leader in full metal, I feel like, you know, is they kind of won two in terms of the anime that got them into anime?
If we're talking like age-wise, because they came out roughly around the same time.
And then you have fully-cooly as well.
And then they went on this slightly fucking pretentious phase with like Lane Girls Last Tour, Mus-Mushishi, even Made in Abyss to an extent.
No, no, no, you see, this is, that's Lane Girls' Lost Tour is Mus-Mishis and Made in Abyss is the post.
not clarity.
Yeah.
So.
Oh, I see.
So they question their lives after watching
in species reviewers and they're like,
I gotta think about this shit.
Fuck, man.
I gotta think about this shit again, man.
God damn.
What is life, man.
Oh, so you're right.
Do we have the reasonings to these?
No.
Oh, motherfucker.
That was all they put.
Okay.
Description, love a story about kids growing up
despite the fucked up circumstances.
Is that why you're watching the species reviews?
Is the fuck dog?
Um, yeah, they're 34.
That 34.
Failed as fuck.
They're 34 and a man for America.
What, uh, what gives you, what gives you that vibe?
What, what's, what's the show that really sticks out to you in this entire list?
Or was it just like, um, Shishi and Solita date them and Gurin Lagan to an extent, dates them as definitely being around my age or older.
Um, full knowledge of her.
is Evergreens. It doesn't really tell you anything.
And then Maiden Abyss and In Species Reviews and Girls Last Tour tells me that they are still
quite active in the anime scene.
They still try to keep up with it, whether it be on forums or Reddit or whatever.
I think they're still quite active.
Because Girls Last Tour, I mean, come on.
What do you mean?
You're an anime fan if you're watching Girls Last Tour.
It's not a casual show.
Yeah, no, definitely.
And to put it on your three by three as well.
up free rent and not booting up
girls last talk.
You know what I mean?
It's a different group of people.
That is true.
In terms of like
if it's only three by three.
I'm sure.
You know, I think really tells me
that they're older probably.
Combined with Fully Cooley implies
that they probably either grew up
watching Fully Cooley or that was one of the
or they just really fuck with the style heavy.
But because they have Solita implies me
to believe they're a Funimation person.
Like they grew up with Funimation.
Yeah, I think Solita is the one show
where it's like,
this was like,
yeah,
this was,
it wasn't one of the mainstay,
like big three shodun.
It was like the hipster pick shodun of this time,
you know,
but people who kind of like watch Solita
really,
really love Solita,
especially it feels like one of their first shonans.
And I do still think it has like a lot of merit.
It's like,
you know,
it's like the equivalent,
literally from the same author,
is when you meet someone today
and they say,
oh yeah,
fire force fucking slabs.
I'm like,
Okay, so you got into anime.
What?
No, it's when I was just like, I go.
No, but it's true, though.
Watching Fire Force made me question if Soul Eater was actually ever good.
What do you mean?
I watched Fire Force because I was like, oh shit.
The show is so bad that you're like, the author must have...
Yeah, I was like, was I just looking at Soul Eater to a rose tinted glasses?
Probably.
Because I watched Fireforce and I'm like, this is just bad.
And interspecies reviewers tells me they're a bit of a...
They've come to terms with Gooning.
Yeah.
They've recognized that as a natural part of society in their occasion.
with it. Yeah. Or they watch anime reviews.
Yeah, but they put like, they put like interspecies reviewers, which if you're going to put like a gooning show, I, this is just like...
There's better written goonies shows.
This is just like, what this, what it says is that, okay, I keep up with anime memes.
Yeah. You know, because it is studio passion. It is probably the, one of the best animated gooting shows and was a big meme, you know, but it doesn't change.
the brain chemistry like high school DXD did.
Yeah, this is, this is someone who is just like,
oh shit, I was horny as a kid and now as a older person,
I'm watching in speech of reviewers and whoa, it's pushing the boundary so much.
You know what I mean?
I'm pissed off, by the way.
Why?
I just realized our last case, that guy, that American said football.
Yeah.
He's a lot, brother.
But he was from New York.
That's it, what the hell?
You can't call it football.
Soccer.
Don't complain to me, bro.
Oh, okay.
Anyway, I think let's let's rip something.
No, it means he's a real football.
He's a real football.
He's a American, but he should stick to his country's descriptions of norms
so I can accurately guess him.
Okay, I think.
Early 30s.
Early 30.
No, I think 32.
Norway.
No, 35.
No way.
Norway?
Oh, no.
Norway?
I, I also think.
Alex is fucking with us and he won't just put,
he won't just keep putting male Americans.
That would be funny.
So I think there's probably some other things going on here.
Okay, I'm going to say 32 male,
uh,
Germany.
Germany.
Why Germany?
Fuck, if I know.
They can get a little freaky down there with the species reviewers,
you know?
No,
I think 35 year old American man who does.
Unemployed.
I'm going to say unemployed.
You put into species reveals
on your three by three dog
You're unemployed
Nah, he's definitely employed man
He's employed, man
He's employed
Because he
He doesn't care anymore
You know
He doesn't care
He's in his own lane
Yeah
I'll say
Trucker
Trucker
Trucker
You say trucker
You reckon he's driving in this truck
While watching into species
Radio's on the size
truck right now, giggling while we're talking about.
His fucking Utah to
Phoenix route.
I just had a lot of time to think about shit.
Yeah, you know, and he's 35
and he loves his fucking trucking life.
All right.
And he's got two kids at home that are
wondering when he's going to come home.
But he's busy listening to trash tays.
So that's my guess.
Sorry, honey, I'm busy watching my shishi.
What didn't we guess?
You did Norway, right?
I did Norway.
I'm going to go 30.
33, I would say, Norway, male, and profession.
I think bro just has a really normal, normal job.
Software engineer.
Just rip software engineer, we're not sure.
I'm telling you.
One of these has gotta be it.
I don't think it's a software.
Norwegian software engineer, say it.
What's like a normal office job?
Project manager.
Okay, sure.
I'm gonna go project manager.
All right.
Open the case up.
How old is he?
29.
All right.
Close, close, close.
Close.
Male.
Fuck.
Please tell me, though,
trucker from America, at least.
Norway?
Canada.
Okay.
What's their profession?
Trucker?
VFX artists.
Worked on Star Trek and Superman.
Stop bragging.
Wow.
Charquitty.
God damn.
Oh, damn.
All right.
Wow.
We are getting some wild-ass, like,
Profession.
Bro, they're a goona.
Can't believe you.
You know, I did think Shark Kitty
might have been a giveaway for a girl,
but I didn't want to assume.
We've been assuming.
That's all we've been doing this episode.
We've been assuming all podcasts.
You know, if she
if she was a man and was trucking, I'd be pretty close.
Shark Kitty, I'm so sorry we were not even close.
Yes.
But congrats, great list.
Yeah, good list.
Good list.
Good take.
All right, load up case number eight.
What do we got?
We got to bring this back, boys.
Come on.
Come on, boys.
Oh, okay.
We've got to bring this back.
Oh, wow, look at this list.
Rob Mahav, you hug show,
Red Gun, the Honour,
one piece,
Kadikahubman were born,
Kion, Digimon Adventures.
Is that,
what's the witch thing?
Wixos.
What the hell's name of that show?
The bottom.
Oh, never mind.
That was a different one.
Oh, no, no.
It's the Wondering Witch.
Yeah, that's it.
An Angel Beach.
Yes. Okay. Is that Angel Beats? Yeah, that's Angel Beats on the bottom right. Fuck are those two girls. I don't recall those. That's Yui. The one in the wheelchair. Ah. The crippled one. She was. How long has it been since you watch Angel Beats? Long time, man. Digimon. So probably a virgin. I'm
I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Digimon fat. Digimon's better than the Pokemon. We all know it. I'm sorry. I'm kidding. But. Okay. Okay.
K-On fan.
So probably also.
Probably a good.
I'm kidding.
Kata Kyo Hitman Reborn.
Classic.
Probably a virgin.
Yeah.
06 version.
Wait, that's their favorite though.
That's...
Yeah, so millennial.
100%.
Yeah.
100%.
Like, you grew up watching the anime
reading the manga in like 08,
oh 9, I think it was around that time.
Yeah.
Or they could be
a young lost soul.
Nah.
A young lost soul does not.
not go to wreck Gun the Horn or like,
down the half. You gotta, you have
to have grown up with that shit.
It's because Rana Half,
especially, the original one, that is
a deep rabbit hole. You know,
it's got so many episodes now.
Right? With the remake now as well.
Yeah, I mean, it's got the remake now, but
this is specifically the original.
Yeah. So,
they definitely had to grow up with
Rounda Half, I think.
A lot of classics here. A lot of like Shonen classics.
Yeah, because you don't, you don't, if you're a new anime fan, you do not wander down a rabbit hole where you end up at Flame of Recker. That is too deep of a cut.
Flame of Recker is insane, bro.
But you have to have been there to watch that show, I feel. Like, that's a hard show to recommend today, I feel. Yeah. You know. God. Same with like Kada Khaegu Himmer Reborn as well and Ramah. Like, they're all great shows, but definitely early 2000s kid. One million. I'm thinking maybe even late 30s.
I'm thinking late 30s as well.
I'll tell you why, because bro has a lot of, let's say,
has a corner basically dedicated towards cute, mushy anime girls.
Yep.
And I think there reaches a point in life where you get older and you just need some comfort.
Man, you just need some nice, comfy anime girls,
just as
just to get your mind off work.
You don't have the mental capacity anymore
to always hit something deep,
something emotional.
That's why I love Kion, bro.
That's that show for me.
And the most recent show out of all these
is wondering which,
which is about an anime girl
just wondering the world.
Cute girls doing cute things.
Cute girls doing cute things.
We love it.
So I do think that
mid-30s,
Bro's employed.
Bro's employed because...
Congrats, bro.
You're employed.
Bro, you are employed because you need some cute anime girls to give you a break from whatever job you're doing.
And you just need to get home from work and you just need to shut your brain off and watch some moi...
What's some cute girls doing cute things every now and again?
I also have a feeling bro grew up in the arcade era just from Rumahaw and Flame of Rameh
have been on there.
You know, I feel like a lot of like fighting game people
love these kinds of shows.
Same with like Yu Yu-Hak Show as well, I feel.
Oh my God.
Yeah, Yu-Yu-Hakshows what made me love
the Japanese media as a whole.
Wow.
Okay.
Rackalo Honol is the first anime recognition for my mom.
Oh, shit.
It made me want to watch the other two in the top row.
Wow.
So, your mom recommended you flame of RECA?
That's crazy.
That kind of throws everything off, though.
Yeah.
Because now they might be very young
and they might have just been watching anime
from a very, very young age.
But Romahaf is the second anime they ever watched.
One Piece is the only anime that the whole family of four
watched together.
That's pretty cool.
You got a family of anime watches?
Oh, no, this changes everything.
Bro is not a closet weep.
He grew up in this whole family a week.
I think they're probably like 20.
You're reckon?
I think they're young because they're still...
Because they're at home.
And then mom or parents recommended, like, the older ones?
So is this what happens when we get a second-generation anime fan?
This is a second-generation-in-man.
One of the rare new breeds.
Yeah, I think this is the first time I've seen like, okay.
This is the new breed.
Okay.
This is the new breed.
Okay, this is what happens when, you know, me or Joey have a kid.
Like, imagine if the anime man could have been, like, locking in from day one.
Yeah.
The amount of knowledge you could- Yeah.
I'll be like, oh, son, you're three.
Flamareka right now.
Go watch it.
Jerry,
100%
this is like
some of the stuff
you'd be recommending
to your kids.
Fuck yeah, dude.
This is a great list.
So,
it's banging.
Okay.
I think they're probably like
19.
You reckon?
I think they're very young.
I'm,
uh,
I don't know.
It's either they're,
yeah,
really young and they're still at home
and their parents just have great taste
or they're older
and their parents still have great taste.
Bro has like a loving
house, bro. They were all
all all watch anime together.
Mom's recommending shows. Yeah.
Actually, yeah. You have an awesome
fucking upbringing, it sounds like. Yeah.
Yeah, you know what? I feel like I'm leaning more
towards, like, they're probably young. But if your
dad was like, hey, son, it hands
you a copy of Halo 3.
Like, you'd be like,
this is so fucking sick,
dad.
Like, the thing that's throwing
me off is, they say that
Digimon is just my childhood.
I feel wrong, not putting it at least one anime
that made my life as a kid easier.
Is that the original Digimon they put on there?
Yeah, that's the original Digimon.
That's like my age.
If you were, if you were like very young.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think they're very young.
I think they're 2020.
I think they're 20.
You reckon they're 20, but they said Digimon was their childhood.
So they might have been there during that time
and they're actually older.
Are we getting thrown off by the family thing?
I think we're getting thrown up our family.
I'm gonna fully lean into it too.
I'm gonna go, fuck it, I'm gonna go even younger.
I'm gonna go 19.
Really?
I'm gonna go the opposite way.
I'm gonna say 31.
I'm with gone, I think they're like 20.
See, my original read was employed, employed man, comes home, needs Q anime girls to take, you know, take the stress off.
Take the stress off, but could also be just was, was, was.
born and molded into anime.
You know, watch Ranma Half and Flame of Recker.
Maybe that was a Gigacad mom,
sitting them down and being like,
you're going to watch Peak right now.
We are not a JJK household.
We are a flame of wrecker household.
Yeah, maybe, you know,
maybe even a,
maybe even a Japanese mom or Asian mom or something like that.
Could be.
Could be.
So, yeah, I'm just going to go,
I'm going to rip the 19.
fully dive into it.
I'm going on 31 male U.S. unemployed.
I think...
I still lives a home. 20-year-old girl,
a woman, West Coast America.
All right. I'm going to go
19
a guy,
Australia. Profession is still a student.
Okay. Open the case.
They are.
23.
Okay, we're pretty close though.
Okay, okay.
Male?
Yeah, Gaunt's closer.
Okay.
Country.
Hong Kong.
Damn.
Profession?
Unemployed.
Okay.
I got the unemployed right.
Let's go.
Okay, well, because I was saying, I feel like it must have been like, I said Japanese, but like an Asian household to kind of have a family to...
Bro.
How old was bro when he was fucking Digimon?
He was like one.
Because how old's the Digimon anime now?
It's at least 20 years, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, but I mean...
I feel like...
Do they watch reruns, maybe?
I mean, if you have your mom introducing you to peak...
Oh, that's true.
It's like Digimon, massive all over Asia.
Yeah.
99 to 2000.
Yeah.
Bro wasn't even born.
Yeah, wow.
All right, there you go.
Okay.
Good taste of you in.
All right.
Next case.
Next case, open it up.
We got...
Girls in Ponsor, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, Don to Don,
Musho Knessi, Kanojo, Domestic Girlfriend,
Biskdal, and 100 girlfriends.
Almost 100% without a shadow of doubt, my mind, a man.
Yeah, a Gaunt fan, clearly.
Why would you say that?
Why would you say that?
Probably an idol fan, just based on Girls and Panzer being there.
I think they are somebody who has gotten
into anime, they're not like a super old head.
No. No.
Um, because they put Dunderdan on here and I feel like that is a telling pick.
That, the Dundadon is a new age pick. Same of like 100 girlfriends. Yeah. As well.
Uh, you got girlfriend and girlfriend as well. You do love your, uh, spicy harum shows.
My brother. My brother. You're my proto J.
This is like Gant's list if you got into anime four years ago.
Yeah.
This is next gen Gant.
I think that we're going to like, you got Demon Slayer.
Got into anime during the pandemic.
You said Dundan, I'm looking at demons slayer.
Yeah.
Got into anime during the pandemic.
Watched a lot of Gant videos.
I think they got into anime during the pandemic is my feeling.
Yeah.
Just because, you know, anime, like, yeah,
Demon Slayer and Dundadad is such a, I feel like any anime fan that would pride themselves on
have watching for like 10 plus years, wouldn't put those two.
Yeah.
Not because they're not good shows, but because I think there'd be something in their brain
being like, yeah, yeah, you're not like that.
That ain't you. That ain't you.
Dandan I can like kind of see because it is like very, even in the shonen space,
it is like very unique.
But I think Demon Slayer, I think Demon Slayer is just like, okay, everyone has like their first
shonen that I got them into anime.
Yeah.
I think that.
Do that reasonings?
I think that bro is a COVID weep.
Yeah, I think so.
Holy fuck.
I just got reasonings.
I ain't reading all that.
Demon Slayer visual fights, visuals and fight choreography.
That's it.
Okay, hold up.
Can we just read this one sentence?
Because what the hell?
Believe it or not, this was my gateway anime.
This is talking about girls und Panzer.
I used to play a lot of War Thunder.
And a YouTuber I liked recommended this anime.
All right.
So I had a curiosity, I searched up the show on a totally legal site and the rest of history.
Your first name was Girls and Panzer?
That's a...
Damn, War Thunder.
That is a deep dive.
A war thunder sponsorship.
Getting this person into anime.
But I, okay, okay, as YouTubers,
I feel like there was a period in, like,
the lockdown where fucking War Thunder was...
Pretty sure, I've done...
I think we've all done...
I think we must...
I don't think I have, but...
I've definitely done one.
I feel like the War Thunder sponsorships
just started like blowing up post-raid Shadow Legends.
Yeah, it was like, it's the post-Rage Shadow Legends
YouTube sponsorship game.
It was the afterquake.
I think we're pretty spot on with our analysis
from just the three-by-three of,
they probably got into it during the pandemic.
COVID-Weeb?
Yeah, I think they're a COVID-Weeb.
Yeah, and then they...
I think they're pretty young.
They've probably only watched 10 shows.
Yeah, COVID-Web that watched a lot of Gant videos.
This is the kind of list
that you watch based on a Discord server.
Yes.
You know what I mean?
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Bro, you're in the Discord server
and this is-
So give me recommendations, please.
Yeah.
So I think, I think bro is pretty young.
I wanna say, I'm gonna say, 18.
This isn't an unemployed list.
I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna rip it, bro.
I think this is probably unemployed.
Yeah, bro is still students.
Grossly, I think.
No, I disagree.
Why?
Why?
Because he got into it during the pandemic.
He's a war thunder player.
So probably some very employable skills there.
Oh, you reckon he developed it over COVID?
You think he's recently got some employed?
I think he's probably a recent employee of a high-paying job.
Software developer.
Software engineer.
No, no, no, no, no.
He's probably unemployed.
No, he's, I reckon he's like 18 unemployed.
Yeah, 18.
Okay, okay, wait, can we look at the reasonings again?
I mean, he has enough time to write all this.
Bro, okay, yeah.
He took his time out of his day to write all of this.
Yeah, true.
Burr submitted this like an English essay.
Yes, dude.
Yes, bro has a lot of spare time.
Oh, no, he is young because he self-sensored fucking.
Only a young person would do that.
Oh, did he?
Yeah.
I fucking love that.
And he self-sensited.
So I imagine
18.
Probably younger,
because I think younger people
seem to be a bit more
cautious of swearing.
I was,
I was thinking maybe even like 17
or something.
True.
Yeah.
I think they're 23.
All right.
Man?
You guys think, yeah, I think 23,
100%.
Man.
U.S.
either unemployed or student.
Yeah,
I'm going to say this person
is still an education
is just
discovering anime right now
definitely knows his taste
hangs out on Discord servers
is a gamer
so
I'm going to say
I'm going to say 18
I'm going to 18 US
yeah 18 US
I'm going to say
23 male
Norway
Software engineer.
A random Norway.
Alright, I've been the case. What do we got?
27!
Because they got into Animajure in the panel.
Male? Okay, we got that. Country?
New Zealand.
Unemployed?
Software engineer!
I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!
I knew it!
Fuck! The one time I didn't call software engineer.
So I was pretty close.
Motherfucker.
I said 23-year-old software engineer.
He's 27.
Damn, why are you employed?
God damn it.
I'd be saying software engineering this whole time.
And then this one, unemployed.
The New Zealand is a hard guess.
But I was pretty damn fucking close.
Yeah, you're all close.
Damn it.
All right.
All right.
Bet.
What a weird case.
Open up the next case.
Case number 10.
Okay, we got Akira.
Joey's alt-al-count.
We got Akira, Grave of the Fireflies.
I think that's TechCon, Kinkrette.
Attack on Titan.
Marchcom's in a log line.
Ping-pong the animation.
Monster GTO and Geroen, sorry, not Gremlin, cowboy Bebalt.
Um, yeah, this is my old.
This guy is show.
This guy is an old head.
He is an old head.
But his favorite anime is Attack on Titan.
I mean, Attack on Titan is goaded.
But all very artsy.
So I'm thinking European.
It's a lot of self-reflective anime as well, like ping pong.
GTO, I think counts in a Lash comes like a line as well.
Tech on Kinkrete as well, which is a wild,
I love take on King Creed, though.
Yeah, that was a studio four degrees,
anime, if I remember correctly.
Yeah, same artist that did ping pong.
Yeah. Should you see the reasonings as well?
Definitely like, definitely into cinema,
if what I would have to say.
Ooh, I ain't reading all that.
It's a huge block of text for every single one.
Except GTO, it's good vibes, fun at times, can make you cry at others.
It's an album, it's an album, anime about life and youth and genuinely a heartfelt one.
I mean, true.
Yeah, so they like to, they like the ones that are very,
uh, multifaceted, multi-layered.
And they see through it, obviously.
Yeah, this is maybe like the type of three by three that you'd expect like a film snob to have.
Yeah, I was thinking cinemophile.
Yeah, very like, is it cinema file?
A cinephile.
Cinephal.
Yeah.
You know, someone who, uh, loves the art of,
filmmaking itself.
I don't know if that makes them
in the creative field or it's just...
Or they just like it.
Or if there's just someone passionate about it.
True.
A lot of the shows that they picked
outside of being unique
cinema experiences is also
very self-reflective shows as well.
So could be Nordic, you know?
I think they're Dutch.
You think they're Dutch?
Dutch.
Dutch. Why? Just the vibe of someone to be this depressed is such a Dutch thing to do.
What do you mean? The Dutch are happy people, bro. No, they're internally depressed as far.
Are they? I think so. Do we have evidence on that? I Google it. I think they're Dutch and
like you said, artsy, very self-reflective. Yeah. Very cultured individual. I don't think they're
Dutch, if I'm being honest. You think what? More depressed, Finland? Yeah, somewhere in the
More depressed, okay.
Like Swedish, Finnish.
Yeah, I was gonna go.
Danish, possibly.
But we almost, I don't know what it is,
but this is such a European three by three.
Yeah, I agree.
It is.
If this is America or anywhere else,
I'd be very surprised.
Yeah, Tech on Titan is the only one
that almost doesn't stop, like,
belong in this list.
And it's the best one.
All right.
How old are we thinking?
Older?
Honestly, it could be old,
but I would not be surprised
if it was a young anime fan who kind of,
who just like,
You sort out like the really like culturally, sorry, critically kind of agreed upon shows.
Yeah. I wouldn't even say this is critically agreed upon because you have like tech on
and that is very much a deep car where you have to be like, I am purposefully looking for
different experiences. Yes. You know. I think late 20s weirdly. I think this is someone who got into
anime when they were around their teens and really honed in on what they liked about anime,
probably later on.
It's probably these types of shows and media.
Clearly a passion for visuals as well with Akira.
Yeah.
I would actually agree with you because they definitely know their taste very, very well.
Also, I'm sorry, go.
Okay.
Also, an older person would probably have
Begada HKSM shit on that
just because they would be like,
I wouldn't feel bad about putting a...
Yeah, right, right.
Because I was going to say, I think bro
still gives a fuck.
Yeah, yeah, bro.
He doesn't have a guilty pleasure on this at all.
And not necessarily you need a guilty pleasure.
You need a vice.
But...
You need one that shows like,
I'm not all serious.
Yeah.
But you, like, this person still gives a fuck.
So,
with how self-reflective they are with some of these picks,
and with some, like, a wide range of genres
and some cinema, like, weird cinema picks as well.
I would say that, you know, you're still in your 20s.
You haven't, you're still figuring yourself out, maybe.
You know, it's kind of like, okay, you haven't stopped giving a fuck.
So I would go 26.
I was thinking 25.
So I think 25, 26.
25, 26.
I would go.
Yeah, I'm going to keep it with Finland.
Why not?
But one of the Nordic countries.
Yeah, I'm going to say Swedish.
I'm going to say Dutch.
And then I think we all think man.
Man?
Yes.
Job?
I really don't know because this is more of a life.
Software engineer has been taken, so I don't know what else there is now.
It could be a software engineer again.
All right back.
Software engineer.
I'm going to say architect.
Architect?
Architect.
Could be.
This could be where
graphic designer comes into.
Could be graphic designer.
Yeah.
Someone who appreciates the arts.
Yeah.
Maybe that doesn't necessarily
reflect in their profession.
Yeah, I appreciate the art, but I can't draw.
No, you appreciate the art, but I mean,
you have a fucking job talking about the arts on YouTube, Joey.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
I'm going to go, I'm going to go writer.
Writer.
Okay.
Why not?
Let's have a look.
Let's check it out.
Let's check it out.
30.
Okay.
Okay.
Gender, male.
Okay.
Country.
Greece.
All right.
We were right about a big Europe.
Okay.
Profession.
Game developer.
So you were in the arts.
We were like kind of.
close with a lot of it, but not quite there.
Greece, interesting.
Yeah.
But yeah, I like how we could summarize
they were European.
Something about it.
We knew they were European based off of the choices.
It's fun how you can kind of get that.
Yeah.
All right.
It's kind of a soul read.
Yeah, yeah.
What's next?
All right, that's resolved.
Let's open up case number 11.
Oh, okay.
Oremonogatri.
Is that?
Yeah, it is.
Full mental panic.
Okay.
Before we name anything.
Jesus Christ.
Before we name anything,
what kind of a person doesn't care about aspect ratios
when making that three by three?
Because every image is squished into shit.
It's most critical.
It's a most critical thumbnail.
It is.
So this is already a type of person
that just wants to get shit done.
and doesn't care about how it functions.
They just care about getting the final product.
I can't get over the wide Yorderman gander.
It's so funny.
This is the three by three equivalent
of going in someone's room and being like,
what was the last time you fucking cleaned your room, bro?
No, this is the other person who like,
is it a bag posters?
Prints them and puts them up.
Printed like an Epson inch chip.
Yeah, A4.
Yeah.
Aspect ratio all fucked up.
Full ink.
Okay, so we got.
So clearly a lot older.
I'm just going to say that.
Yeah.
Remember the last person
when we were like,
Bruce still gives a fuck.
Yeah,
this person does not give any fuck anymore.
They are 100% comfortable
with the type of person they are.
What is Rideback?
I don't know, actually.
I've never seen that one.
Can we Google Rideback?
Fantasy engineering motorcycles.
At least they kept their reasons short.
Okay, so my love story,
my favorite romance anime,
okay.
Cat Planet Cuties,
sci-fi cat girls.
All right.
Full mental panic, fantasy engineering mecks.
Man, he really likes engineering.
Plus size elf, have all the manga.
Ride back, fantasy engineering motorcycles.
Yortemungan, gun battles with non-superhumans.
40-year-old mechanic, male.
Secre, romance with girls with Pokemon star,
kind of types.
Gate, modern military tactics versus fantasy world tactics.
Bro, plays armor and war thunder.
Yeah.
Blaserator, good character development plus motorcycles.
Okay, he clearly loves these like mex motorcycles.
Okay.
Automobiles.
Bro.
spends a spare time collecting Warhammer.
I feel, I feel, I feel, I feel like,
I feel like bro is a Warhammer player.
Yeah. Of, or collector. I don't know.
Could even know.
He's a military Sim and Joy, I think.
You think so?
Yeah.
Well, yeah, because he's got Yortemangan, Blast Raider, Gate.
The only people who complain about
unrealistic gun battles are people who are into military stuff.
You're right.
When was this made?
2009.
What kind of,
Madhouse.
Oh, it's a madhouse.
Drama, sci-fi.
I've never heard of this one.
Huh.
Yeah.
Could actually, could also be
ex-military as well.
Maybe serving in the army.
Maybe he's still serving.
Possibly.
Would you want to watch military shows
if you're in the military?
Sorry?
Would you want to watch military shows
if you're in the military?
There's two shows here that are military.
Mm-hmm.
But it's, it's, there's only like two shows here
there are like proper, like military, but...
Cat Planet Cuties, sci-fi cat girls.
I don't know, just something, something,
I just have this image of just...
First of all, the worst description for Cat-Planit Q's.
Just something about like an older man
who just finds comfort.
He loves like, clearly he loves like his mechanical stuff.
Yeah.
You know, and, you know, combining that with just...
Definitely, definitely nine-
manga, a plus-sized elf.
Yeah, definitely like a 90s, 2000s,
make a...
Bro is Jamaican.
Bro is Jamaican.
The perfect size.
Yeah.
Moa.
Bumbleclas.
Okay. Okay.
Uh, clearly he has disposable income
to have all of the manga for plus size elves.
Yeah. You know.
I don't know how many volumes it is, but still.
Yeah.
The dedication is real.
Yeah.
So...
I'm gonna guess he's like...
late 30s, early 40s.
Yeah, yeah.
I think this person has a lot of disposable income.
Yeah.
It's kind of just chilling in life.
They know what they like.
They like cute anime girls and military mecca stuff.
Yeah.
I, you know, could be mechanic, but I, you know,
could also be ex-military as well, could have served.
Could just be chilling right now.
I might even go like, fuck it, 40.
40?
Jack, as he likes plus-size women, go to the next slide again, sorry?
My favorite love story is his favorite romance anime.
Interesting. Go back.
So maybe he relates to the character.
He's a big guy?
Big guy.
Big guy with a big heart.
Big guy with a big heart, man.
Big guy with a big heart who likes big women.
Yeah.
The only way my love story could be improved if it was the Alf girl.
It's just a little thicker.
Look, I mean, I mean, let's project here a little bit.
You know, the main character.
in my love story is a big man with a big heart.
Yeah.
He's got a lot to give.
He does.
He does.
Maybe he's a biker because he likes a lot of motorbike shit in anime.
Could be a biker.
It could be like, yeah, maybe ex-military.
Big bike guy, you know, but with a big heart.
With a heart of gold.
Who likes thick women.
Has like, has like a big beard, has a lot of disposable income
to spend on his hobbies.
Yeah.
Bro looks scary as shit, but probably has like a dragon ball tattoo somewhere.
Yeah.
Unlike us, he knows his way around.
an engine. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let's say 40 year old,
American, Texas.
Retired military. Retired military, now
mechanic. Okay. I'm happy with that.
And there's a man. All right. Load it up. Load it up. Watch us be
completely wrong on this. Age. 34. Okay. Okay. Gender. It's a man.
Okay. It's a guy. Country. Florida.
Fuck. We were right U.S.
What's a profession? Truck driver.
Hell yeah, dude.
Heavy equipment operator.
Okay, well.
Yeah, well, that explains his like likes for like, you know,
I mean, I'd say we're in the same, we're in the same,
like, pretty close.
You're one step away from being a biker, dude.
Let's be real.
Yeah, every truck driver, heavy equipment operator.
Yeah.
Yeah. Okay.
You're not fixing in the machinery.
You are operating.
You're in it.
Yeah.
Damn, well, damn, look at us.
Hey, we're getting there.
We're getting there.
Yeah.
Yeah, Gage is such a giveaway for like, I feel like,
someone who's really into military stuff.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because it's like, if you don't like military stuff,
you know, it's kind of...
Well, gay by itself, because I love gay.
I watch it too and I liked it.
Yeah.
It's the combination of gate, Yormungan gun, and full metal panic as well.
True, true.
So, yeah, bro, I was like, American.
Definitely American.
Yeah, definitely American.
Likes big things.
Likes big things.
Okay, next up.
All right, next case.
We've got, is that Kekei Sensen?
Kadei-Ki-Hir-Raborn, Space Brothers,
old taxi.
World Trigger.
World Trigger.
IQ, Kaiji, death parade.
And is that U-G-G-X?
It's one of the U-Gos.
Five Ds.
Five Ds.
This could be my list, bro.
A little bit.
Um, yeah.
World Triggers, your favorite is...
Yeah, that, yeah.
Damn.
But I get it because I really loved that show.
When did this show come out?
Full trigger.
2010s, I think.
2015, I think.
Let's see when it came out.
Because Kata Kiyo Himera Born and Space Brothers
2016.
Yeah, Kada Kama and Space Brothers came out a little bit earlier than that.
But a lot of it is quite new.
I think they're probably gotten to anime around the same time
I miss me. Because I like a lot of these shows and naturally watch them, like Kekai Sensei and
Kaiju, Death Parade, Odd Taxi, Haikyu. Yeah. I feel like, I was thinking like late 20s.
And Yu-Gi-O is probably there because they pretty got into it. Yeah, maybe the first anime they
watched. I feel like a real tester could be Yu-Gi-O. Five-Ds is the best Yu-Gi-Gio show to date,
in my opinion. Jokes about card games and motorcycles are such.
Oh, he watched a Brit series.
The show dives into the theme of social class division, segregation, and discrimination,
which honestly caught me off guard when I first watched it.
That's a children's card game show, that a children's card game show discussing such themes,
but is welcoming nonetheless.
So it's not his first show.
So he probably grew up watching or playing Yu-Gi-O and then settled on 5Ds being the one.
I could tell you his first show.
It's Katakio Hitman Reborn, my first time that I finished.
during the three part per episode on YouTube.
Yeah, so around my age.
So he's an OG.
I think around my age.
Yeah, late 20s, early 30s.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I was gonna say he referenced
Uyghur bridged.
Yeah, which also means-
already out of my age.
Yeah, yeah, car games on motorcycles, so.
So definitely YouTube Frog.
Yeah.
So it must be around my age
or potentially older, is my guess.
Yeah.
I reckon early so.
Are you think younger?
Let me think.
Did you grow up, when you got into like
bridge series. It was kind of like the end of the era. Okay, so I think he must be older than
you now. Probably because when I started watching Yu-Gi-o, I was not looking at a bridge.
Yeah. So yeah, probably maybe 32. Because Little Carribo's Yugo Bridge was absolutely massive.
And car games and motorcycle, even though it's nowhere near viral video now, back in the day of the
anime community, it was a very, very, very big meme. So yeah, maybe something close to
to Joey's age.
I think that's a real tell.
Outside of that,
is there anything else
that tells me more
about this person?
Odd Taxi.
A perfect gift-wrapped series
that answers all the questions
and left a satisfied conclusion
in 13 episodes.
My go-to recommendation
if anyone asked me
for an anime to watch.
That's a tough first recommendation
of an anime.
That is a tough first recommendation
of an anime.
I am not going to lie.
They don't really like
slice of life either. So again, very similar to me in a lot of ways. I think that, yeah, I think this
person is very much me. Yeah. So probably like 32. Maybe they don't like that. It's an insult.
I would say that there's not like, is there any, I think odd taxi out of everything is the only
post-COVID show on this list. Yeah. Yeah. So again, probably somebody kind of fell out of anime a little bit.
Yeah, maybe has a lot less time to watch anime now and maybe just gets it through YouTube
recommendations, like through us. Yeah. You know?
Um, world trigger, one of their favorite power systems in anime.
I did really fuck with World Trigger heavy.
I don't know if I'd agree with that statement.
Yeah.
I would say, yeah, I'm going to go like 33 for this one.
Bro's a gamer too, probably.
Why do you think, why do you think that are a gamer?
This guy likes the e-sports arc in World Trigger.
Yeah, and he says at the end of Kaiji, the series is so good that I stopped gambling.
Gotcha doesn't count.
There's a Gotcha game player.
The series, that I just got it.
Unemployed.
So bro was gambling before, Kai.
So bro is older.
Yeah, bro is definitely older.
Bro is like 32, probably 33.
Okay, so.
He's gambling, so he's in a country
where gambling is legal.
Could be Aussie.
Aussie.
We do like our gambling.
Australian.
Was you go big in Australia?
Oh yeah.
Okay, okay.
Okay.
Was your internet good enough to watch YouTube back then?
Yeah.
I don't know, I heard it,
show you internet is like absolutely dog shit.
upload is dog shit. The download is okay. Okay, okay, okay. I just thought you guys were like in the
fucking Stone Age. Oh no, we basically were, yeah. Well, like it buffered a lot for me too in Wales.
Yeah, so I'm gonna say 33. Yeah. Australian. Okay. You, I'm gonna say Southeast Asia for this
one. You say Southeast Asia. He's a Gotcha gamer who's also a Yu-Gi-Fan. But gambling's illegal
in a lot of Southeast Asia. That's why he's into Gotcha. But he stopped gambling.
Gatchettcher doesn't count, question mark.
So it's excluding Gatchettrick.
I think he's either American or a show.
But a lot of people in Southeast Asia,
even there is illegal.
Bro, who is the first person you see in a casino?
Vibinian.
Vietnamese man.
Vietnamese man.
That's what I'm saying.
They could be Vietnamese.
So could be.
It could be.
But I'm going to stick with Australia for now.
Because I feel like being big,
to the ebridge shows as well.
Yeah.
33 age, probably plays card games.
I don't know if the Yu-Gio thing.
Like, do you go out and watch other
Yu-Gi-Oh shows if you're not actively playing Yu-Gi-Oh?
You know, because I watched the original Yu-Gi-Gi-O,
but I didn't go out to watch, like, the U-Gio spin-offs.
You didn't watch, like, GX or anything?
I love GX.
GX is so good.
I didn't, honestly.
Yeah.
No.
I never watched 5Ds, so.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
I think bro maybe plays card games as well.
He probably plays Yu-Gio.
If he's making it all the way to 5Ds,
then I assume he's just like an OG Yu-Gio fan.
Also, card games is just also Gatcha,
repackaged in a different form as well.
Yeah, pretty much.
Bro likes the serotonian of...
Bro likes the thrill, you know?
That's why he put Death Parade and Kaiji in there.
That's true, that's true.
He likes the thrill of the gamble.
Well, good to see.
I hope you're recovering from your gambling addiction.
Yeah.
Hope you don't live in Australia where it's so easy to.
All right.
Should we say a final answer?
Job?
Sparky.
You think he's a sparky?
I think he's an electrician.
I was not expecting you to say sparky.
He's an Aussie.
Yeah, he might be a sparky.
Early 30s guy from Australia.
There you go.
Let's see.
Sparky.
Go on then.
28.
28?
Okay.
Okay.
Male.
Okay.
Australia?
New Zealand.
Born in Thailand.
That's where the sea gang was coming from.
I knew it.
Okay.
Are you sparky?
Salesman.
Oh, damn.
See, I knew it.
He was like, he specifically mentioned gotcha.
I'm like, Southeast station.
Shit.
But New Zealand, though.
New Zealand.
Lives in New Zealand.
Which is basically Australia.
It's very easy to get.
It's very easy.
It's like,
It's like, you know, America, Canada.
Yeah, it's like, it's like beta Australia.
Yeah.
All right.
I do always confuse the flags.
Do you?
How do I tell the difference again?
The one with the red stars is New Zealand,
the one with the white stars of Australia.
Thank you for that.
Get it right, God.
All right, last one, here we go.
Case number 13, we've got,
Geinthews, we got Gintama,
Oron High School Host Club.
Is that a...
What the fuck's that show called?
I forgot which one it was.
Villan Saga.
Oh, what's that middle one?
That's not Scum's Wish, is it?
Bro loves women.
Nah, I think bro is a woman.
Kagikishu.
Princess Jellyfish, that's right.
What I mean is that I think we are looking at a...
Yeah.
Looking at a woman.
Or on high school, Princess Jellyfish,
magical Dori Me, and Aria, the animation.
And Kian.
Yeah, Yu-Hirasaa is me for real. Yeah, definitely a girl.
Well, no, no, no, wait, Joey. We fell for that before.
Where we were like, I relate to Rika so much, but I think in this case, I genuinely do think...
Yeah, they watch Magical adored me, bro.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, that's definitely a girl.
And they got, they got, like...
Or in high school? Or in high school.
Princess jellyfish, that's a girl.
Yeah.
It's got to be a woman.
But how old is the real?
Real question.
Did they grow up watching magical Dorimi?
I didn't watch this series growing up.
Oh.
Okay.
So she watched it as an adult.
Yes.
Okay.
So that means she could be younger.
Because look, with Princess Jellyfish, she's saying,
adore the 2000s vibe.
No one who grew up in the 2000s says that.
I think.
Uh,
I reckon she's like.
Yeah, no one, no one would refer to.
Thoroughfin, no guy would refer to Thoroughfin as best boy.
I'm just gonna say that.
Vinland Saga, this also changed my life.
Thoroughfin best boy, I think pretty young.
They're definitely American because they say Oran is problematic.
Wait, did they actually say that?
A bit problematic.
Yeah, I think...
This is just not something you'd ever hear a European person say.
That is true.
Yeah, I think she's pretty young.
Yeah.
I think she is Gen Z, maybe even Gen Alpha.
Hold up.
Aria Animation.
This was a series I binged during COVID
and was when I came to realize how much I love the ESHK genre.
So she didn't grow up with the ESHK stuff.
She got into it over COVID.
No, she said she binged it during COVID.
Binged it during COVID.
Might not mean that she got into it during COVID.
But it made her realize how much she likes the ESK genre.
I think like 27.
You think 27?
No, I think way younger.
I was thinking like 18, 19.
Ah, yeah, actually, maybe 24.
I think 23, American.
Can we go back to the list again?
So I think she grew up in an era where
where people were starting to become
a little bit more conscious about some of the themes
presented in anime.
Probably a TikTok user.
Yeah, I think so.
Yeah, I think so.
24.
maybe even younger.
I think.
As I was thinking like early, 20s, late teens, maybe.
I think still in education.
I don't know.
I don't know why.
Yes, student, you reckon?
I think she might have been watching anime in high school during COVID
and might now be,
or maybe even younger than high school.
I'm not even sure, but I think,
I think possibly in university maybe or possibly in college.
Yeah.
Maybe that kind of age.
If she was watching all the way back then.
Wait, how long was COVID now?
It's been six years.
Started six years ago, man.
Okay, so, okay, okay, let me think about this.
Favorite anime is Gintama and she's watched Vinlan.
She's probably chill as far.
Very, very chill.
Yeah.
But Vinland Saga was a life-changing anime for her, right?
Yeah. Maybe she wanted violence and death.
Yeah, I'm going to say 24, woman, America.
I'm going to say 22.
I'm going to say 20.
Okay.
Okay.
And then I think she's retail.
Retail. Retail worker.
You were going to retail worker.
I think she's a student.
Student.
Yeah.
I think student as well.
Let's see.
26.
Okay.
Female.
Okay.
Okay.
Australia.
Australia.
Receptionist.
Oh.
Fuck.
Damn.
Damn.
Okay.
Okay, I felt like I was close on some, but way off.
Yes.
It's so hard to tell when the Aussie.
Yeah, that's true.
Unless they talk about gambling or drinking, I don't know.
You know?
Yeah.
Um, but that was, I, there you go.
That was it.
