Darkness struck, a gut-punched theft, Sun ripped away, her health bereft.
I roar at the void.
This ain't just fate, a cosmic scam I spit my hate.
The games rigged tight, shadows deal, blood on their hands, I'll never kneel.
Yet in the rage, a crack ignites, occulted sparks cut through the nights.
The scars my key, hermetic and stark.
To see, to rise, I hunt in the dark, fumbling, fear.
Hears through ruins maze, lights my war cry, born from the blaze.
The poem is Angels with Rifles.
The track, I Am Sorrow, I Am Lust by Codex Serafini.
Check out the entire song at the end of the cast.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the True Life podcast.
I hope that you had a fantastic weekend.
I hope that your day is on the cusp of becoming greater than you possibly could imagine.
I got a good one for you today.
Let me start off with a little bit of this old English type of talk here.
Study what thou art.
Whereof thou art a part.
What thou knowest of this art.
This is really what thou art.
All that is without thee also is within.
Think about that for a minute.
Let me try to break that down.
study learn understand who what you are what are you have what are you a part of what specific role is it
that you perform how is that relevant to the big picture what is the whole the big picture
when you have figured out what the big picture is what the whole is then you have figured out
what you are. Initially, when you begin to understand the size and scope of what you are,
it will seem almost infinite. However, after you have thought about it long enough,
you will understand that it is in all its greatness. Just a small fraction of the whole. Don't worry,
the rest is inside you. No religion is valid.
which does not improve the world yet it should be obvious that action without wisdom
without clear awareness of the world as it is can never improve anything
furthermore as muddy water is best cleaned by leaving it alone it could be
argued that those who sit quietly and do nothing are making one of the best
contributions to a world in turmoil I know what you're thinking
You're thinking, wow, George, it's pretty deep for a Monday, buddy.
We're really going to dive in this week, aren't we?
And the answer to that is yes.
I've been plagued by this idea.
Although that's not a really good word because it's not that I feel sick about it.
It's just it's this idea that keeps growing inside of me,
and I feel like I need to get it out and explain it and explore it and investigate it.
And this idea is the idea of the idea.
of the individual as a process, the idea of society as a process, the idea of culture, everything
is a process.
The reason, one of the reasons I think it's so beautiful is, in my opinion, it just better describes
you as an individual as part of a society, as part of a culture, as part of the world.
there is no death
there is no beginning
and there is no end
the first shall be the last
and the last shall be the first
when we begin seeing ourselves
as a process
the issue of forgiving
yourself and others
becomes easier
you begin to understand
that you did the best you could
with what you had at the time
you begin to have empathy
for others
when you understand
understand that they too are a process and that you are a part of their process just the same way
they are a part of your process because we're all part of a bigger process. In a way,
understanding that you are a process, a magical, beautiful, jaw-dropping, majestic painting
that is constantly being renewed.
A masterpiece, a work of art so beautiful that all those around you are driven to tears or rage or violence, just being in your presence.
That is part of the process.
It's much easier to comprehend the world around you when you can see yourself in it.
Let me try to give you another example.
Recently in Hawaii, there was a event at the convention center.
This is an event that had gone, I believe it toured around the world.
It was like a Van Gogh Museum of Types.
However, rather than going to the convention center and seeing several paintings or prints of Van Gogh's work and admiring them,
these photos were digitized and they were not only digitized, but they were put into motion.
I know what you're thinking.
You're like, wow, how did they do that, George?
Well, think of them digitizing a photo and then putting it into a projector and changing the frames on the projector quickly.
So when they shone the light onto the large canvas walls, you were surrounded by the painting.
And because it was moving so fast, it gave the painting the illusion that you were inside the painting.
Not wholeheartedly.
Like you knew you weren't in the painting.
However, it felt much different than going to a museum and just staring at the painting.
This definitely had more of a feeling of process.
And I think that it's a great way.
In fact, it's a sign that we're moving towards more interactive relationships,
not only with each other, but with the world around us.
And additionally, the way that we see the world,
we are becoming aware that we are the process of evolution, of life.
We are becoming aware, we are waking up to the idea that it is us.
We are the work of art.
We are the painting.
We are the process.
We are the most brilliant movie in the world ever made.
And everybody knows that the most brilliant art.
artwork has elements of violence, of beauty, of terror, of sacred, of all that can be considered
worthwhile. And that's what we are. It's almost as if we're in some sort of a novel or I like the
idea of a beautiful oil painting that we all take part in and play a part. I believe that you can
take a bigger part if you understand where you're at in the painting. Are you currently in the
foreground? Are you currently in the background? Are you aware that this is a process that you are in?
Are you aware that the person next to you is a fellow cast member and what role they're playing?
If you are not aware of that, I suggest you take a few moments to think to yourself what role
you want to play, audition for it, and then begin doing it.
It may take some time, but you can't practice and get better.
What story do you want to tell to the world?
You can begin today.
You can begin by becoming that masterful work of art.
You can begin by becoming that which it is is calling you,
the process, the pattern,
is something you can see if you focus on it.
Think of the process.
Think of the pattern as the yellow brick road.
Not to be confused with the road to hell,
which is paved with good intentions.
Although I think it's fair to say
that those two paths cross one another quite often.
That's probably where we get the idea
of the path of the righteous man
is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he who shepherds the weak of the valley of death.
That's probably a beautiful way of looking at the path that you're on.
If you want to know what it is your feeling,
if you want to know what it is people are thinking about you.
There's a real simple way to find out.
And that is by looking at other people,
and allowing yourself to see what it is that you see about them.
When you look at your neighbor, when you look at your friend,
when you look at a stranger outside,
do you tend to see the positive things or do you tend to see the negative things?
That is a really good barometer of how you feel about yourself.
If you're constantly seeing the beauty in people,
then it's probably fair to say you're a beautiful person.
if you're constantly seeing the negativity in people.
It's fair to say that you're upset with something about yourself.
You see, I have a podcast that I recently did with Dr. Anne-Marie Balkansky.
She's amazing.
She's a beautiful person, really smart.
She's a medical doctor and a hypnotherapist.
She was mind-blowing to talk to, and I'm really thankful that she gave me some of her time.
She has
shown me some ideas that I've never even thought of before
and I would like to share some of those ideas with you
She talks quite a bit about the law of correspondence
She says that what you see in other people
When you see other situations
That those people and situations are in fact a mirror
They are showing you what you look like
they are showing you what you're thinking about they are showing you how you feel on the inside they are
showing the world who you are so if you knew that if you knew that what you think about other people
is what you think about yourself isn't that a divine inspiration to change the way you feel
and to understand that you can make yourself feel better by helping other people
people. In fact, you can probably learn a lot about solving all your own problems by helping
other people solve their problems. And it can be intoxicating. It's a beautiful thing to think about.
There was something else that Dr. Anne-Marie Balkansky told me that really blew my mind,
and it was this idea of a soul contract. Has anybody ever heard of this? It's a
It's a fascinating idea and I highly recommend that you check out her podcasts at rapid realization.
It's amazing.
I will give you a brief summary of what we talked about.
However, you really should go and look at her work.
She's amazing and I highly recommend it.
Imagine what happens before you're born.
I know what you're thinking.
thinking, I don't know, George, nobody knows.
Well, think about it like this.
What would happen if you went to sleep and never woke up?
Right?
That's a better way to kind of ease into it.
Then you can start thinking, well, I might fall into a deep slumber and have a beautiful
dream, a vivid dream, a dream so real that it makes me feel as if my waking life
was a dream.
we've all had vivid dreams
so there is something in the dream world
so what would happen to you if you fell asleep and never woke up
if you think about that long enough another question will begin to arise
and that question is what's it like to wake up and never have gone to sleep
that is a description of being born
so what doctor and Marie and I were talking about
about is this life between lives. And she talks extensively and very elegantly about what that life
might look like. And according to some of the research she has done, she says that while we're in this
other state, in this other life, what we do is we have like a different group, a different family,
a different world in which we live.
And when you're in this life between lives, your soul, your transcendent self is making contracts with other transcendent beings so that you can come back into this world of the flesh and learn.
And everything that happens to you here on this world is a learning process.
Be it a tragic event, a happy event, your soul, your life.
your spiritual being is on a journey to become ever better,
to be defeated by ever bigger and bigger things.
And that is part or at least some of these things that happen in the life between lives.
What your daily waking life is, is in fact the sole contract playing out.
The little synchronoff, gosh dang, what's that word?
the little synchronisms. Is that the right word? Is it synchronisms? I can't think of it,
I should totally know that. But these little things that happen to you, be it finding a penny,
or finding the love of your life, or dealing with death, or going to prison, dealing with the loss
of a loved one. All of these things were predetermined. Maybe not exactly.
exactly when you made the contract.
But think of going to a school and finding a mentor.
And that mentor, you make a contract with that mentor and you say,
I want to learn how to do these things.
The mentor says, okay, I'm going to send you into the world and give you a course.
I'm going to send you into the world and it's not going to be easy.
However, if you follow my instructions and you follow my heart,
there will be signs.
There will be ways for us to communicate if you look.
if you look, and I will help guide you through the tricky parts.
I will help guide you through the narrow passages.
And it's just, the more you think about it,
the more you understand the esoteric knowledge that is out there,
the religious knowledge that is out there,
the love that is out there,
the more you understand that it's all necessary, all of it,
The pain, the suffering, the knowledge.
It's necessary.
It's for a reason.
It may be for a reason you don't understand today, but it's necessary.
I hope that each and every one of you have a brilliant day.
I love you.
Aloha.
Let's get up and get out.
