Hey, it's Scott Detro with an announcement.
As we have talked about on the show recently, Donald Trump's win in the presidential election
effectively ends these major criminal trials against him.
And soon he will be back here in Washington, D.C., assuming the power of the presidency
with a goal to use that power to make big changes on his own terms.
In fact, Trump is already assembling a team of people to help him do just that.
And there's an old saying here in DC
that personnel is policy.
And that is why starting today,
Trump's trials is now Trump's terms.
We will use this show to curate coverage from across NPR
of President Trump's incoming administration.
We will explore his picks for cabinet secretaries,
his closest political advisors, his top military
leaders.
We'll dig into their backgrounds, their ideas, their policy goals to look for clues of how
they will govern.
And once the administration takes power, we will help you try to understand what they
will do with it.
We'll have new episodes here as often as possible.
And a special thank you to supporters of this show.
Nothing changes about your NPR Plus membership, and you will still hear every episode of the
show without sponsor messages.
Thanks for listening.
