Starting point is 00:00:00 This is True News, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us God. I'm Rick Wiles. Today is Wednesday, November 8, 2023. American Christians who are counting on the 2024 elections to turn around the USA into the right direction should be very disheartened today following Tuesday's off-term elections in four states. Doc Burkhardt and I have a sobering update on the state of America's soul. So we'll start with the minor stuff. I say minor, you know, the typical election results. There were elections in four states.
Starting point is 00:00:54 And several governorships were up for grabs. Mississippi, the incumbent governor, Tate Reeves, won a second term. He was running against Brandon Presley. Yes. Relative of Elvis, the king of rock and roll. Second cousin to him. He survived. Now, the next one I want to show you, well, then also Kentucky.
Starting point is 00:01:21 The Democrat incumbent, Governor Beshears, won re-election. So the Republicans were hoping that they were going to pick up that seat. So they held on to Mississippi. They did not snag Kentucky, which they expected to do. When you get to Pennsylvania, the big race there was for a seat on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. They elect their Supreme Court justices like we do in Florida and Texas and other states. The man who won, Dan McCaffrey, is pro-abortion. And everybody in Pennsylvania knew that the issue was abortion. And so he won.
Starting point is 00:02:11 He captured the state, a seat on the Supreme Court, running on a pro-abortion platform, Supreme Court. Then we get to Virginia, and Governor Glenn Youngkin suffered a big setback politically. Yes, and this was the election really to watch as Governor Youngkin was setting out. A couple of days ago, they were talking about the possibility of a President Youngkin. Now they're not so talkative about that anymore. He was using a strategy of a moderate pathway, if you will. They were going to hold the House and flip the Senate. That was the big motto that was going on. They ended up losing both.
Starting point is 00:03:02 And so the Democrats took control of the state House of Delegates, retained control of the state Senate, and governor yunkin a black eye doc if you go back to 2020 and you know that should have been a big republican year and something odd happened right it went against all of the historical precedents in off you know in midterm elections. But in Florida, Florida was the only state that went all Republican. Right. And so everybody started talking about Ron DeSantis. He's the future of the Republican Party. He led his state and the Republicans to sweeping statewide victory.
Starting point is 00:03:45 They've got all the statewide offices. They have control of state legislature. And that was part of Mr. DeSantis making the decision he should run for president against Donald Trump, thinking, hey, look what happened. I'm the young new face of the Republican Party. The Republican Kennedy. The Republican Kennedy. hey look what happened i'm i'm the young new face of the republican party the republican kennedy the republican kennedy so what we had here in virginia was a governor glenn yunkin was hoping for the same thing he wanted to come out of yesterday's election the hero i held on to the house in fact they were hoping to increase their seats in the Virginia House of Delegates.
Starting point is 00:04:28 He wanted to flip the Senate from Democrat to Republican. It went the other way around. He lost. So his presidential campaign prospects just went down the tubes. Right. He's not a shining knight right now. Of all the elections yesterday, Virginia was the one to watch
Starting point is 00:04:50 because that was kind of the bellwether as kind of, if you will, report card on Biden and his prospects for the future. If based on this, then Biden is going to be reelected. If you are deceiving yourself into thinking that the country has become conservative, you're foolish. The country is not becoming more conservative.
Starting point is 00:05:19 It's becoming more leftist. Right, as we'll show you here in just a few moments. But, Doc, the big issue. All right, so in Pennsylvania with the Supreme, Doc, the big issue, all right, so in Pennsylvania with the Supreme Court race, the big issue was abortion. The people who voted for McCaffrey knew they were voting for a judge who would uphold abortion rights. When you get to Virginia, the Virginian citizens who voted yesterday knew what they were voting for. Abortion. Yes. It was the number one issue in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Abortion rights. Look at the CBS Channel 6 report out of Richmond. Virginia Democrats sweep legislative elections after campaigning on abortion rights. There you have it. What issue won the election for the Democrats? Killing babies. They campaign on a promise of killing babies. And they won.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Yes. The voters said, we want more. We want more baby killing. And we want politicians who will support our right to kill our children. Folks, you can't have this any other way. A majority of the citizens who voted yesterday said we want the right to murder our children. So this is a statement from the Virginia Senate Democratic Caucus Chair, Mamie Locke. And she said, quote, it's official.
Starting point is 00:06:51 There will be absolutely no abortion ban legislation sent to Glenn Youngkin's desk for the duration of his term in office, period. As we have thwarted the MAGA Republicans attempt to take total control of our government and our bodies. Yes. Not your bodies, the bodies of the children. We were fighting for the bodies of the children, not your body. It's about the bodies of the children that you want to murder. So here's this reprobate bragging. There will be
Starting point is 00:07:27 absolutely no legislation passed that will halt abortions in Virginia. We won. We crushed them. We're going to kill the babies. We crushed our opponents and we'll crush baby skulls in the womb.
Starting point is 00:07:43 So then we go to, I want to go to number seven. This is the other big one. This was really the big one in Ohio. Yes, this was closely watched as well. It was called Issue 1, Proposition 1, Constitutional Amendment 1. There was a proposed constitutional amendment on the ballot yesterday in the state of Ohio. If it passed, it would enshrine abortion rights into the Ohio State Constitution as a constitutional right. The voters of Ohio passed it.
Starting point is 00:08:31 It passed, Doc. Ohio. Ohio. Ohio. Ohio is now pagan. The America I grew up in, Ohio was his... All-American. The America I grew up in, Ohio, was as – All-American.
Starting point is 00:08:48 It was as all-American, red, white, and blue state as you could get. Yes. Really, the presidential elections were determined sometimes by Ohio, whichever way Ohio and Indiana and those states went. The values of Ohio used to represent goodness, righteousness, patriotic values. No more. The new patriotism in America is paganism. Yes. Pagan patriotism.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Pagan patriotism. That's where we're at in America now. So if you're not from Ohio, you don't know about the election, but what the Ohio voters ratified yesterday was a complete ban on abortion bans. Right. There was a ban, a six-week ban in place in Ohio, but the issue one basically said all other bans are no longer legitimate. So this is from NBC4 in Ohio. What Issue 1's passage means for the future of abortion
Starting point is 00:09:55 in Ohio. Abortion rights advocates and anti-abortion activists agree that the crown jewel of Ohio's abortion restrictions, that six-week ban I mentioned is undoubtedly in conflict with the language of issue one. But even with the six-week ban's eventual demise, a suite of statutory and administrative regulations will continue to restrict access to the procedure, at least to the near future. Now, there are more than three dozen laws that regulate and often work to restrict abortion in Ohio, and those laws include a parental consent requirement for minors seeking the procedure, a law that opponents of Issue 1 repeatedly claim would be struck down under the amendment. Other restrictions include limits on
Starting point is 00:10:36 who can provide abortions and what facilities and in what manners, as well as informed consent requirements, post-abortion procedures, and prohibitions on state funding for the procedure. In a policy analysis released in the weeks before November 7th yesterday, Attorney General Dave Yost claimed many laws would probably be invalidated under the amendment's requirement that the state would need to defend any pre-viability regulations as important to advancing the health of the pregnant person. Notice the language there, pregnant person. So now we're going to have pregnant men. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:12 But the loan-recognized interest in fetal life or in medical ethics cannot be protected, making the laws previously upheld on those grounds no longer valid, even if the interests rise to the level of compelling, Yost wrote. Okay, Doc, let's stop right here. I want everybody to soak in, comprehend what the Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said. The interest in fetal life, unborn babies. It's not a fetus. It's a baby.
Starting point is 00:11:50 So the interest in the life of an unborn baby or the interest of medical ethics can no longer be protected in the state of Ohio. So there were laws that were upheld in the state based on the life of the baby in the womb and also just general, the Hippocratic Oath, first do no harm. But now those laws, and he's making the recommendation that if issue one passes, that those laws are completely invalidated now on those grounds. Dr. Darrell Bock Because the life of the unborn child now, it's beyond being secondary. Basically the unborn child has no rights at all.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Dr. Darrell Bock Yes. That's what it means. Dr. Darrell Bock None. No rights. There are no innocents in the state of Ohio. There are no innocents. So you've got Judaism won. Folks, how did I get back to Judaism?
Starting point is 00:12:53 Because abortion is a Jewish value. Yes. The people were Judaized, and they were indoctrinated into accepting the Jewish values of abortion. That's what's happened to America. See, this is—why do I oppose Zionism and Judaism? Because it's contrary to God. I can't be a Christian preacher and keep my mouth shut about the paganism that is coming into America. And the advancement of Judaism is the number one force that's changed America from being a Christian nation.
Starting point is 00:13:38 We're now a Jewish nation. And so when people harp on about Judeo-Christian values, there is no such thing. When you take those values, you can't mix it with true Christianity. You invalidate Christianity, Rick, at that point. That's right. You can't mix Judaism and Christianity. Christianity is pro-life. Judaism is pro-abortion.
Starting point is 00:14:02 The Jews freely admit it. They're very, very open. They do not believe babies have a life before birth. Yes, and the government pays for it there. And so America has accepted the Jewish viewpoint on unborn babies. So what the Attorney General said is that now, after yesterday's vote, the interest of the pregnant person, male or female, because he's saying in this, oh, we have to now accept the possibility that men will be pregnant. That's how perverted the country has become. Ungodly, sick, demented. He's saying, we will now be required to only in the state of Ohio. None.
Starting point is 00:15:11 That's what happened yesterday in Ohio. And the voters said, yes, they said, yes. The disciples asked Jesus about the end of the age. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes
Starting point is 00:15:37 in many places. I'm Dr. Robert A. Shuler, and I'm on a mission to encourage Christian families to prepare for tough times. That's why I'm endorsing American Reserves. American Reserves can help you build a food storehouse like Joseph in Egypt. American Reserves offers emergency food packages for a month or a full year. Buckets of freeze-dried beef and chicken, assorted vegetables and fruits, and powdered eggs are ready
Starting point is 00:16:07 for quick delivery. A panic can cause store shelves to be emptied in hours. Be wise. Be ready. Order food at AmericanReserves.com. America was Judaized and it is no longer a Christian nation.
Starting point is 00:16:24 It is foolish to think that you can use and it is no longer a Christian nation. It is foolish to think that you can use elections to turn a country around. The country cannot be turned around through political action. The people themselves are lost. The voters are lost, and they're voting like lost voters. You can't vote yourself out of sin. They're voting their values, Doc. People vote their values, and they're telling us what their values are. The earth has a mouth, and blood has a voice.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Rick, when you first pointed that out to me, it's been several years ago. I never comprehended that in that verse, that blood has a voice and the earth has a mouth. The blood speaks through the earth's mouth. The blood is the voice that comes out of the earth's mouth. Creation was never designed for murder. It was not designed for sin. Creation was perfect. It was God's gift to mankind. He created the universe as man's home. It was his perfect gift to mankind. There is nothing wrong with the planet, nothing wrong with the universe, nothing out of place, no disease, no viruses, no bacteria, no death, no predators, nothing.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Nothing bad, just goodness, the goodness of God. But Cain shed his brother's blood, and the blood went into the earth. The earth opened its mouth and received the blood of Abel, and the blood of Abel cried out to God for justice. Thank you.
