Our top uncensored news headlines today are Robert F. Kennedy's
presidential campaign could be the big surprise in 2024. Rumors are swirling that Fox News will
clean house in the aftermath of its massive lawsuit settlement with Dominion. Mike Lindell
ordered to pay $5 million award. Marjorie Taylor Greene's mouth was muzzled. Welcome to True News. This is your
source for independent news analysis and commentary. Let's start with the announcement
by Robert F. Kennedy that he is a candidate for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination. You see the headline there from a Boston TV7,
WHDH-TV, Channel 7, Boston. Kennedy formally announces presidential campaign at event in
Boston. Doc, the first poll has already appeared, and RFK Jr. came in at 14% against Joe Biden.
Now, typically people would go 14%.
Right.
That's horrible.
But this is his first, basically first day in the race against a sitting incumbent president.
Right.
And to be immediately polling 14% actually is quite good. Because if he doubles it,
he's at 28%. And if you double it again, you're in the majority. Okay. And so the first primaries,
well, I guess the end of this year, they'll probably start. I think the Democrats had moved the first primary to South Carolina.
Yeah, I think so.
I don't know if it's December of this year or January of next year, but we're not that far away from the primaries.
And you will have Robert F. Kennedy challenging President Joe Biden to presidential debates on television.
That will be interesting to watch.
I can't imagine Joe Biden going toe-to-toe with Robert F. Kennedy for an hour.
A Kennedy.
A Kennedy. It's not going to happen. The race just changed. And of course,
the news media is attacking Robert F. Kennedy.
They're dumping on him that he's this anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist, and they're smearing him.
Anytime you see the news media smearing somebody, you've got to say, hey.
There's something I like about that.
There must be somebody I like, all right?
Wonder why they hate him so much.
I watched his announcement yesterday from my home. He made the announcement yesterday morning in Boston, and we've divided up his press conference into several video clips.
I want you to hear what Robert F. Kennedy said. He opened his statement talking about the American Revolution.
Of course, he's from Massachusetts, so he got that revolutionary spirit in a citizen from
Massachusetts, but he recalled the history of the American Revolution and compared it to where
we're at today with the suppression of freedom, the censorship,
and the powers that are coming against the citizens. Here's Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Paul Revere took off 242 years ago last night from the Old North Church to the north end where she was born, my grandmother was born, and he rode
out to conquer to alert the countryside, and particularly the Minutemen, that a British
troop of 800 men was coming to confiscate their arsenal and their powder dump.
And those men met the British army, the largest and most powerful
empire in history, on the old North Bridge 242 years ago today. And they drove them back
and they chased them in retreat through Concord, through Lexington, through Lincoln, through
Arlington, into Cambridge, inflicting terrible casualties.
And that was the beginning of the American Revolution,
but really the revolution had started two years before.
And it started when the British had passed an oppressive law raising the taxes on tea in New England.
And this was a law that the British Crown made in collusion with the British East India Company,
which the king owned shares in, his ministers owned shares in,
and most of the aristocracy owned shares in.
And it was their plan to impose the tax on New England merchants, but exempt the British East India Company's
ships and dumping the tea into the harbor. And that's when the British sent that troop
over here to quell the rebellion. So that rebellion was in part against empire, but
the spirit of that rebellion was a fury that the colonists had against the merger, the corrupt merger of state and corporate power.
He really nailed that, Rick.
He did.
And, Doc, did he deliberately choose to announce his candidacy on the anniversary of the—
Right, of Paul Revere and facing of British troops.
And so, you know, if—
It's unmistakable, the connection.
We need a new revolution, that's for sure.
But for him to—and I'd never really thought about it before. I know revolutionary history and everything, but I never really made the connection between the collusion between government and corporations.
You think about it in today's world, but you don't think about it in the 1770s.
But that's exactly what happened.
The British government was deep in bed with the British East India Company,
exempted that company from having to pay taxes on tea.
That made it an unequal competition for the colonists.
The colonists responded in like manner.
It is interesting that he makes that connection.
There was corporate welfare in the 1700s.
And he, of course, all the pharmaceutical companies had been given a waiver from being sued or anything like that from any harmful effects of the gene therapy that they've injected billions of people with.
And, of course, RFK Jr. is a big proponent of really looking into that
and lifting that. Which is why the media is against him. The media, the news media,
are the press prostitutes for the big corporations. And the biggest source of advertising money for television news is pharmaceutical companies.
You got it, yes.
And so they are not going to bite the hand that feeds them.
They're little lap dogs.
And when the pharmaceutical companies say, go out there and attack somebody, the news media is right on top of it.
And so they're smearing Robert F. Kennedy. Also, his family, the Kennedy family, has made statements that are derogatory to his beliefs.
And what the media is trying to paint is a picture that Robert F. Kennedy is the crazy uncle in the attic.
That's what they want you to think. That the Kennedy family has the crazy uncle in the attic. That's what they want you to think,
that the Kennedy family has a crazy uncle in the attic,
and now he's running for president,
and all those good Kennedys,
those respectable, dignified Kennedys,
they're embarrassed that their crazy uncle,
Robert F. Kennedy, is running for president.
He handled it very gracefully.
Oh, with class.
He did it with class.
He was, you want to talk about it?
Go ahead.
Oh, of course I'll watch the speech,
but there were a lot of different ways
you could handle that conflict
with the rest of the Kennedy family.
What he did, it was a master class
in how to handle,
if you've got toxic relationships that are in your family.
And then he brought it back to the current climate in America. And so this is number four for control.
Let's watch this and watch.
You're about to learn a lesson in diplomacy here as you watch this.
There are other members of my family who are not here today.
I'm going to make a confession because I know most American families,
they never have any differences with each other.
Oh, when one does, it's... So when that happens in a family, it's really huge news, like everywhere.
But, you know, I want to just say this.
I'm very grateful that many of the families who disagree with what I'm doing today,
many of the family members have taken the time to write me beautiful letters of love this week,
to send me emails, to make telephone calls for me.
I bear no ill will or any kind of disappointment to any of them.
They have different views of the politics in this country.
My whole family, including myself, have long personal relationships with President Biden.
Many of my family members are working in the administration.
Many of them also just plain disagree with me on issues like censorship,
on war, on public health, and they are entitled to their beliefs and I respect their opinions
on them and I love them back. And my hope... And is it too much to hope that we could have the same thing for our country?
We have a polarization in this country today that is so toxic and so dangerous.
And at any time since the Civil War, during the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln said a country or a nation, a house divided against itself cannot stand.
And when I talk to both Republican friends and Democratic friends, they talk about this division in almost apocalyptic terms.
Nobody can see a safe way or a good way out of it.
So at this point is where he made his announcement that he is a candidate.
This is his formal announcement that he is seeking the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination.
We'll show you this clip.
I've come here today to announce my candidacy for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. And my mission over the next 18 months of this campaign and throughout my presidency will be to end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now to impose a new kind of corporate feudalism
on our country, to commoditize our children, our Purple Mountains majesty, to poison our children and our people with chemicals
and pharmaceutical drugs to strip mine our assets to hollow out the middle
class and keep us in a constant state of war.
You know, Doc, I didn't think that in my lifetime I would see another Kennedy presidential campaign.
I thought maybe that age had passed.
You know, I was a child when his uncle was president of the United States.
So, you know, the 1960 election, gosh, I was six, seven years old,
six years old, I guess, at that time,
when Kennedy and Nixon ran.
But there was an excitement in the land.
There was just, at that time in the early 60s,
John F. Kennedy was this breath of fresh air.
I mean, he had come into the White House after eight years of Dwight Eisenhower, who was a great president, war hero.
But there was a generational change.
But there was a generational change.
And the old warrior, Eisenhower, made way for the young warrior, Kennedy, who was a soldier in World War II.
Eisenhower was a general.
John Kennedy was a soldier.
And so there was a generational change,
and we had the space program,
and there was this air of expectancy,
and then, of course, the assassination,
and everything changed in this country.
And then you fast forward to 1968,
and Robert F. Kennedy Sr. was a candidate for president.
I was in high school at that time,
but I was a Kennedy supporter.
You know, as a high school student,
I was supporting his father, Robert F. Kennedy.
Right, and in those days, there wasn't an issue on abortion or things like that.
There were more policy issues.
Well, first of all, abortion was illegal in the country.
Right.
And Democrats were pro-life.
Yes.
The Catholics were a very big, which the Kennedy family are Catholics, but the Catholics were
a very big voting bloc in the Democratic Party. There was no demand for abortion. Okay. And so, in fact, as a teenager,
my political mentor, as you know, I grew up in a Democrat family. So my grandparents were FDR
Democrats, Harry Truman Democrats. My parents were Kennedy Democrats.
So I grew up in a working class, rural farm area, Kennedy Democrat area.
So as a teenager, my political mentor who got me involved in politics was John F. Kennedy's campaign manager for the
state of Maryland in 1960. He was the campaign manager for the entire state of Maryland.
Wow. So, Doc, when I was 14, 15 years old, and I would go to this gentleman's home. It was a prominent family in the area.
And I can, to this day, I can still see his kitchen
and the photographs of Kennedy, John F. Kennedy,
and my mentor, right?
And together, you know, riding in a car,
riding in a, you know, standing on, you know,
sidewalks, whatever, you know, sipping coffee. The home was full
of photographs of this local man and John F. Kennedy. So the Kennedy mystique was there.
Right.
So then Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated. Martin Luther King was assassinated. The country,
this country's never been the
same since the assassination of John F. Kennedy. And subsequently Bobby and Martin Luther King.
That was the beginning of the coup. The killing of John F. Kennedy was the beginning of the coup
in this country. If you can go back and point to when America was taken over, it was the killing
of John F. Kennedy. And so this secret deep state, this dark shadow government
has seized control of this nation since those days. And here we are now, and we have the son of Robert F. Kennedy
seeking the Democratic nomination for president.
I didn't think I'd ever see this again in my lifetime.
In this next video, he talks about the CIA
and what his uncle John F. Kennedy said about the CIA.
My uncle came into office two months later. He was fighting his intelligence apparatus,
his military, because they wanted to invade. They wanted to do the Bay of Pigs. He was totally
against it, and he let them roll over him. And in the middle of the Bay of Pigs,
he realized they were lying to him and he realized the function of the intelligence agencies had
become to provide the military industrial complex with a constant pipeline of war. And he came out
during the middle of the night during the Bay of Pigs catastrophe and he said, I want to take the CIA Alan Dulles had lied to him Charles Cabell Richard
Bissell Louis Lemons or Curtis LeMay had all lied to him through their teeth and he said I want to
take the CIA and shatter it into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds And subsequently, he wants to do the same.
But at the assassination site of his father,
in the hotel in Los Angeles,
there were two high-level CIA operatives
in that hotel room.
That was reported by the BBC about 10 years ago.
And the BBC identified who these station chiefs
were gave the names and and where their stations were at which were south america they were cia
officials they were in the hotel where his father was shot uh sear, I don't believe Sirhan Sirhan killed his father.
I believe he was an MK Ultra dupe
because the man has a,
he's got a memory gap.
I think it was like a 15 minute memory gap
that he has no idea what happened
and they can't crack it.
He was Palestinian.
They found the perfect dupe.
A Palestinian with a gun was in the hotel and shot Robert F. Kennedy,
except that there were bullet holes all over the hotel.
And what did they do?
They tore down the hotel.
Knocked the scene of the crime down.
Just like they do the schools today. Right.
First thing they do after a school shooting is tear
down the school. Now you can't
do any studies there.
One more
video clip, and this is
Robert F. Kennedy talking
about
the war lobby in the United States
today.
If you go back to the beginning of our history,
our founders made so many clear warnings
against Americans getting involved in foreign wars
because they said,
trying to be an imperium abroad
is going to destroy democracy at home.
It is going to turn us into a garrison state, a national security state,
and a surveillance state.
They said the two are inconsistent.
You cannot be an imperial nation abroad and a democracy at home. And John Quincy Adams really spoke for all of the framers when he said,
America goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy.
It is something we cannot afford to do in our country.
My grandfather, Joseph Kennedy, said,
We need to build Fortress America. We need to arm ourselves
to the teeth at home and make ourselves too expensive to conquer and then build our economy,
because the economy is the source of strength, not bullets and weapons. It's having a strong the strong middle class.
Dwight Eisenhower warned against the military-industrial complex
and that it would destroy democracy.
My father died in his campaign
against the Vietnam War.
Martin Luther King broke with the civil rights movement
on Vietnam and he said,
this has got to be our priority
because you don't you're not seeing that there is a direct link between poverty at home and war
poverty and violence and oppression at home and war abroad you cannot separate them as long as
we're making war as long as our major exports are weapons in war, we will never have a middle class in this country.
Where are we right now in 2023?
$100 billion sent to Zelensky in Ukraine.
And that's just one country.
Yes, one country.
The war lobby is draining the lifeblood out of this country.
And he's the only candidate out there
that is saying,
we need to stop this war.
We need to stop it.
Why?
He gives the monetary reason,
and this is actually a good tack,
I would say.
We're draining the middle class.
We are basically siphoning
every dollar out of the middle class
and sending it to buy bullets, bombs, and other things to blow up things.
Yes.
I've got a couple more stories I want to cover.
And we're only going to do a half hour today.
I've got to ease back into working.
I don't want to do this too sudden.
I had a week of just—
It wouldn't be a big shock.
Yeah, so give me some time to work it back into this.
Okay.
No, seriously, I have an appointment,
and I have to go to it.
You all know about the Fox News settlement with Dominion.
$787 million settlement over the 2020 election.
Of course, CNN says the election lies. CNN has never lied,
Doc. No, they haven't. What if CNN was sued every time they lied?
Well, it would be an endless lawsuit, wouldn't it? But anyhow, why did Fox settle?
Well, from what I know about it, the number one reason is that Tucker Carlson's producer
secretly recorded private conversations inside Fox News.
And those recordings were going to be used in the trial.
And so the Murdochs and Fox decided
it was just better to cut our losses.
Cut off now and pay some money and get out of it.
Okay.
But here's where we're at, folks.
And I'll show you one more regarding this.
So Forbes reporting today, Fox News parts way with Dan Bongino.
And we'll show you an announcement that Dan made today.
Folks, regretfully, last week was my last show on Fox News, on the Fox News channel.
I haven't told Joe that.
I know Guy, who's in the office with me, knew before the show.
I had to let my team know here this morning.
And it's tough. It's tough to say that so the official reason is they
couldn't come to terms on extending his contract but most likely doc the contract had terms about
what you could say what you couldn't say so what we're seeing is the post-settlement fallout at Fox News.
So Dan Bongino is the first casualty.
The rumors are swirling that Fox is going to clean house.
Who are some of the names that you're hearing
may be on the way out?
And these are only rumors.
Radar Online is reporting that Mario Bartiromo
and Jeanine Pirro are on the chopping block
for immediate dismissal.
And there's likely others.
I mean, really, if you really start cleaning the house, you're going to go after Tucker.
You're going to go after Sean Hannity and others.
They fired Lou Dobbs immediately when the lawsuit was filed.
He was the first to be fired.
So you're seeing a house cleaning at Fox News.
But how does this change content?
Because Fox News is going to become more and more and more moderate.
CNN is going to move from the left to the middle.
Fox is going to move from the right to the middle.
It's all going to become very bland news.
Right.
News Nation recently launched the old WGN.
It's moderate.
It's in the middle.
They're not going to go extreme left.
They're not going to go extreme right.
But, Doc, here's what we see.
With the Alex Jones Infowars lawsuit, with the Fox News Dominion lawsuit,
you will not be able to question anything at this point.
That's right.
No one will ever question the integrity in the election.
People can rob elections all day long, and nobody will question for fear of a lawsuit.
Or question vaccines or question anything that's controversial.
The new method of censorship is lawsuits.
Mike Lindell settled, well, he didn't settle. He was ordered today to pay $5 million because
he made a challenge. He said, if anybody can prove me wrong about the 2020 election,
I'll give you $5 million. Well, some guy took him up on it and tried to collect his $5 million.
And today, a court ordered Mike Lindell
to pay the $5 million.
Right.
He said, you made a contract.
You said, if they could do it,
and this guy did it,
and you owe $5 million.
Bottom line is,
from this day forward,
anybody doing a talk show
better be extremely careful about what he or she says about the corruption in this country.
The corrupt people are now suing, and we have to deal with this new landscape.
This is where it's at.
They found a new way to censor people, to silence voices, to stop criticism, investigations, exposés. They're going to sue you,
take everything you have, shut you down, and everybody else will get the message.
If you want to survive, zip your lips and be quiet. And play the game. And play the game.
Those are the new rules in the United States of America. Maybe Robert F. Kennedy will shake up the rules.
We'll be back tomorrow with a full program.
