For two months, America's far left has appeared to be bewildered about its response to President Trump's stunningly bold agenda. The law and political opposition seems to be over today. Elon Musk's X platform was hit with a massive cyberattack today, even as the billionaire revealed shocking new levels of corruption in federal spending.
Starting point is 00:01:22 This is True News for Monday, March 10, 2025. Let's begin our analysis and commentary with this Fox Business News report. Elon Musk says X facing massive cyber attack and Doc, this has been going on all day. Yes. He's, this is a quote that, apparently he managed to get something posted on X. Yes. He's, this is a quote that, apparently he managed to get something posted on X. Yes. It's been going up and down all day and so. So what he said was there was, still is, a massive cyber attack against X.
Starting point is 00:02:03 And he said we get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large coordinated group and or a country is involved. Okay. He's implying a state actor. Right. Would that be NATO? Our own deep state, maybe? I believe he has reason to believe it's a foreign country, and it's not Russia, and it's not China.
Starting point is 00:02:41 Right. That's not China. It could be Germany, Great Britain, France, maybe Ukraine. If it's Ukraine, it's the US. Yes, with the tentacles of the deep state. I don't know what time it started. I, I know I had problems throughout the day and I use X a lot in working to prepare true news. And so it's, it's kind of a go-to tool. Right. And, you know, I can quickly find things and, you know, build out the program. So with, with X down, it severely limited us and the speed that we could work at today.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Right. But that's not the only domain of Elon Musk that's under attack, is it? No, Tesla also. That's right. So here's BBC. Tesla facilities in the US face takedown protests. BBC said Tesla facilities across the US face protests and vandalism.
Starting point is 00:03:47 In response to the political role Elon Musk, the car manufacturer, who owns the car manufacturer, has played in the Trump administration. Most Tesla takedown protests have been peaceful, but a few have been destructive, with fires set at Tesla showrooms and charging stations in Colorado, Massachusetts. That was followed by six arrests in New York over the weekend, when hundreds of protesters occupied a Tesla showroom. There has also been a spike in cyber truck vandalism across the U.S. Some car owners are defacing their own Teslas in protest.
Starting point is 00:04:28 So dumb. You deface your own vehicle. Whatever. That's what the line said. You can't be stupid, folks. That's what it said. Well, Elon Musk had a response to this, and he feels like it was a coordinated attack. He said an investigation found five ACT Blue-funded groups responsible for Tesla protests.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise and Resist, Indivisible Project, and Democratic Socialists of America. ActBlue funders include George Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bowman, and Leah Hunt Hendricks. ActBlue is currently under investigation for allowing foreign and illegal donations in criminal violation of campaign finance regulations. This week, seven ActBlue senior officials resigned, including the Associate General Counsel.
Starting point is 00:05:19 If you know anything about this, please post in replies. Thanks, Elon. All right. Leave that up there because we'll go through his list. George Searles, alive and well. Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn. Yes. Herbert Sandler. Mr. Sandler is deceased. His legacy lives on.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Yes. Doc, I don't know if you remember his name. He was at the forefront of the subprime mortgage scandal back in the 2008 real estate crash. Okay. Yeah. He was, he was the head of a, he owned a financial empire that was involved in a lot of the subprime shady deals. Right. Okay. But he passed away a few years ago, but I assume that Mr. Musk is, is implying that his estate, maybe a foundation, something in his name is still carrying on Sandler's
Starting point is 00:06:26 work. Patricia Bauman, I think she is also deceased. I don't want to pronounce her dead if she's still alive, but I think she is deceased. A very well-known political activist. And then Leah hunt hindricks she's in granddaughter of h o hunt that's right that's all right the hunts yes
Starting point is 00:06:54 the hunt brothers are the the for you know but on the far far right was it this is what happens when you become wealthy in your conservative you leave your money to your children and grandchildren and your grandchildren end up becoming far leftists. But yes, she's very active in funding political organizations on the left. So Mr. Musk, he's naming these people as the funders, not saying that they are deliberately orchestrating the violence, but that they are known funders of organizations, the ActBlue.
Starting point is 00:07:38 The ActBlue Alliance, yes. Interesting. Some of the crazy news over the weekend, armed man hospitalized following shooting near the White House. This is WTOP radio news in Washington, D.C. Yes, WTOP is reporting a rare command is being treated at a D.C. hospital following an armed confrontation with U.S. Secret Service agents near the White House on Sunday. Now according to Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi, it appeared shortly after
Starting point is 00:08:11 midnight at 17th and Gee Streets in the Northwest Park. The Secret Service identified the man's vehicle a block away, moments before locating him walking on foot, which I thought was an interesting thing to point out there. As officers approached, the individual brandished a firearm and an armed confrontation ensued during which shots were fired by our personnel. The man whom DC police had identified as someone traveling from Indiana was transported to a hospital.
Starting point is 00:08:43 A firearm was recovered. So I don't know if you caught that line in there, Rick, where it said the Secret Service said it had identified the man's vehicle a block away moments before locating him walking on foot. Yes. So they obviously had the vehicle under surveillance at some point before doing any kind of intervention with the man. So he might have been circling the White House, seeing Carr going by numerous times.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Strange behavior at midnight. Right, at midnight. Well, he got himself shot. Yes. Fox News, also another Fox News story. President Trump, some of these stories are from last week, as we were in Barcelona, Spain. You may have seen these things.
Starting point is 00:09:29 We didn't. All right? So, we're kind of recapping some of the big stuff that happened last week. President Trump says he'd be willing to release reports on assassination attempts against him. Now, there's some statements in this interview with Fox News that are quite intriguing. Mr. Trump released information about his would-be assassin that I've never heard before. Right. All right, let's watch.
Starting point is 00:10:04 This is Fox News. And I got to ask, because you were talking about this in your joint address, you were talking about Butler. It's been seven months. Why do you think we don't know more about the guy who shot you in the ear? Yeah. Oh, well, and the second one with all of his cell phones. So I want to find the answers.
Starting point is 00:10:23 I've told them. In fact, today I said I want to find the answers. I've told them. In fact, today I said I want to fight. We can no longer blame Biden for that one. He should have released that a long time ago. So they are giving me a report next week sometime. And I do believe I'll be releasing. I want to release the report. A lot of people have asked that question.
Starting point is 00:10:43 You had one who had three apps, two of which were foreign, supposedly, and who has the biggest white shoe law firm in Pennsylvania, even though they don't live in necessarily a white shoe area. What's that all about? His law, you know, the law firm. The other one had seven or six cell phones. And I don't have six cell phones. And why would somebody have six cell phones? So we're going to be releasing a report on that soon, Peter.
Starting point is 00:11:13 But based on what you're saying right there, the lack of information and the data points that you just gave, does that make you think that there's some data? It could be. Well, it makes other people think that. It makes me think it a little bit too. I say when you have three apps and two of them are foreign, and you had an FBI that wouldn't report on it, they didn't want to say why, I would say that could be suspicious. And then on the second assassin, you had, you know, and by the way, after secret service, did a great job on that by spotting him. But on the second one, he had six cell phones. That's a lot of cell
Starting point is 00:11:54 phones. And a couple of them had some strange markings on them. So yeah, I want to find a, and I would be willing to release it. I've been that maybe there's a reason that we shouldn't so I Don't want to get too far ahead of my skis But yeah, I would be very willing to release that I'd like to see it. I want to see it myself Not only I want to see that one myself So the one with the six phones is only about Ryan Ruth Yes, the would-be assassin that was hiding in the shrubbery at Marlago.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Six cell phones, some of them with strange markings in them. Now Mr. Ruth had traveled to Ukraine. Yes. He had made several trips to Ukraine. So there are legitimate questions to be asked. Did Ukraine attempt to kill Donald Trump? Right. And remember, too, he's originally from Hawaii. So it's not like he just happened to live in Europe or something like that.
Starting point is 00:12:58 He traveled all the way from Hawaii with no apparent means of financial support was able to travel all the way from Hawaii to Ukraine several times and other places in Europe too. Now the other guy who's talking about crooks, the one in Butler, yes, apparently had access to a high-paid law firm. Yes. Yeah, that came out about two or three weeks after. Yes, I remember that. But you never heard anything else after. Right.
Starting point is 00:13:31 In fact, both stories have disappeared. That's true. Well, and in the case of Crookes, he's disappeared too because they cremated the guy. Did they really? They did. They sure did. Got rid of the evidence, didn't they? Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:13:47 I wonder if the microchips burned up, too. I doubt they're combing through the ashes for it. It's interesting, though, that there's a new development in the Ryan Routh story by his defense team. And this happened right here in Fort Pierce, at the federal courthouse in Fort Pierce. So look at this headline here. Ryan Roof's attorneys want to test fire weapon allegedly intended to assassinate Donald Trump. Now, we'll get into the article here and we'll have some comments here.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Attorneys for a man accused of trying to kill President Donald Trump in Palm Beach County last year were back in federal court Friday at the Alter Lee Adams Federal Courthouse down in Fort Pierce, just down the road here. Defense lawyers said they want to test the rifle found in Bruce's possession. Investigators said the Hawaiian man tried to assassinate President Trump at the president's golf course
Starting point is 00:14:38 near West Palm back on September 15th. Now, defense attorney Kristi Miltillo said Friday that she wants her team's expert to analyze if the rifle is even operable. Is it your theory that the weapon could not have fired within the distance alleged? That's coming from Judge Eileen Cannon. We've got a report from WPTV down in South Florida here
Starting point is 00:15:04 where they fill in some of the details on this. I'm WPTV investigative reporter Dave Bowman. I've been following the case of Ryan Ruth, the man accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump, last September. At a hearing today, Ruth's lawyers asked that the gun that was found just outside Trump National, but was never fired, be subject to a test firing. Agents say they found the rifle abandoned outside Trump International Golf Course,
Starting point is 00:15:31 September 15th, 2024. Keep walking! Ruth was arrested later that day. In federal court, public defender Christy Militello asked to have that weapon test fired. Militello said, it, the rifle is old and we want our expert to determine is it operable? Is it accurate? What kind of distance can it reach?
Starting point is 00:15:55 It is a little bit unique in the circumstances. West Palm Beach defense lawyer Greg Morse understands the strategy. Let's assume the gun doesn't work. Does that help Ryan Ruth at all? This is obviously not an easy case for the defense. It's incredibly difficult on so many levels. So it gives an argument that affects the charges that are so extremely serious.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Prosecutors objected to the test firing, calling the request irregular, unsafe unsafe and never been used. Judge Cannon says she'll soon rule on whether the rifle can be test fired. The case is on track to go to trial as scheduled September 8th, almost a full year since the alleged assassination attempt of President Donald Trump. The attorney also wants the judge to allow her to physically examine the golf course. She wants permission to go to Mar-a-Lago. So that's another request that she's made to the judge.
Starting point is 00:16:54 What's their play here, Rick, do you think? They could try to argue. Even if he wanted to kill him, he couldn't do it. What difference does that make? Well, has anybody ever been in prison for conspiracy to commit a murder? Sure. Well, he was conspiring to commit a murder. So you think they're trying to step down the charge on him, rather than be in an assassination
Starting point is 00:17:17 attempt to make it just a conspiracy? Probably. Anything. So, kind of grasping at straws here aren't they? All right. So Mr. Rooks, or Crooks, Crooks, not Rooks, Crooks, who is dead and cremated. If he had lived, he would have had a high-powered law firm. Right. But Mr. Ruth has a public defender. I was trying today to find out who, it was very difficult for a while, I searched for a long time trying to find the name of Ruth's attorney.
Starting point is 00:17:52 I'd find article after article that would only refer to Ruth's attorney, but never give a name. That's interesting. And I asked one AI platform, which was Gemini, for the name of Ruth's attorney, and it responded, I cannot comment on this matter. You couldn't comment on it? That's what it said. So I kept pressing it and said, well, it's a political... I said, no, this is a legal matter.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Why aren't you telling me? Give me an answer. It should be public record, shouldn't it? Well, it took... Yeah. It's a this is a legal matter. Why aren't you telling me give me an answer? It should be public record shouldn't it? Well, it's a public defender Finally it spit out the name But I had to wrestle with it. So what's the protection here? What's this about? so anyhow Bloomberg
Starting point is 00:18:43 Secretary Rubio says USAID will be part of the State Department, will face deep cuts. Here's the main thing I want you to see in this Bloomberg article. Secretary Rubio said he had officially canceled 83 percent of USAID's contracts, and that his agency will administer its few remaining programs. Here's the post that he put on X today. Yes, he said after a six-week review we are officially canceling 83% of the programs at USAID. The 5200 contracts that are now canceled spent tens of billions of dollars in ways that did not serve and in some cases even harm the core national interests of the US.
Starting point is 00:19:27 In consultation with Congress we intend for the remaining 18% of programs we are keeping approximately a thousand to now be administered more effectively under the State Department. Thank you to Doge and our hard-working staff who worked very long hours to achieve this overdue and historic reform. Doc, Larry Sanger is a co-founder of Wikipedia. He's disowned it. In fact, he refers to himself as the ex-founder. Yeah, I was surprised when you told me this story the other day, because I just assumed that he was just as far left as you could get to this day.
Starting point is 00:20:05 He might be left, but he's left Wikipedia. He's left Wikipedia. He's said multiple times, he has said Wikipedia is a disgrace to him, that it was never intended to be a tool for reputation assassination. Which it has become in some cases. Yes. He posted last week, I read this while we were in Barcelona, and he sent this message to Elon Musk. He said, may I ask you to determine what branches of the US government, if any, have employees paid to edit, monitor, update, lobby Wikipedia?
Starting point is 00:20:50 Such operations should be defunded. If any, there are none. If there are none, we'd like to know. Agree? It's a very good question. Here you have the man who co-founded Wikipedia asking Elon Musk Search Search through the government files and see if if there are government employees on the federal payroll Who are paid to?
Starting point is 00:21:17 to work on Wikipedia entries Wouldn't that be a scandal find find out that government agents have been behind the assassination of people's reputations? So for our audience to understand the way Wikipedia works, it's like an open source deposit of information. But other people can review that information and make edits to it. In some cases, they make extreme edits that suppresses information or seeks to diminish the character of individuals.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Your entry on Wikipedia right now is an example of that. Anytime we've attempted to go out and make changes to it to correct factual information, someone swoops in that is, I guess, a higher ranked editor and is able to change it back or update it with new disinformation as well. And so Wikipedia in some cases, and especially, we felt the brunt of this, has become a weapon
Starting point is 00:22:26 and not a resource of information. So are there government agents paid to do these things? Or and if there are, what governments? Yes. Because it could be coming from other governments. That's right. In my case, it could be Israeli agents who have access to Wikipedia and can, you know, nullify any corrections that we make. I don't even worry with it.
Starting point is 00:22:57 I don't even, you know, it's going to burn someday. Right. It's all going to burn. That's the way I look at it, baby. It's going to burn. Jesus Christ coming back, that's all going to burn. That's the way I look at it. Maybe it's going to burn. Jesus Christ coming back. That thing's going to burn. But Mr. Sanger has asked a very good question and maybe we'll find out something Elon Musk is asking is where does Senator Elizabeth Warren, he calls her Senator Karen, where did she get a net worth of 6767 million? She's a leading socialist.
Starting point is 00:23:27 Her salary, $285,000 a year. Her net worth, $67 million. It's a legitimate question, isn't it? Maybe she ought to be running the Commerce Department. Right. I mean, whatever she's doing, she's doing right. Well, she ought to share her secrets. Yes, just like the Pelosi's.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Write a book, make a podcast, how to go from a salary of $285 to a net worth of $67 million. And yet Elizabeth Warren is one of the biggest criers out there about Elon Musk exposing all the corruption. Why would she be worried about that? You would think that they would be excited to find corruption, Rick, to get rid of it. You would. That would be more money for legitimate causes.
Starting point is 00:24:17 But the only legitimate causes they have are causes that go into their bank accounts. Fox News, wait to hear this one. Doge says $312 million in loans were given to children during the COVID pandemic. Yes. Doc, this one really stinks. Yes. So the Department of Government Efficiency announced a further wave of contract terminations late on Saturday, noting that they also identified thousands, thousands of cases where more than 300 million in loans were granted to children. Now it says in the article from Fox News that Doe said he had identified that the Small
Starting point is 00:25:00 Business Administration granted nearly 5,600 loans for $312 million to borrowers whose only listed owner was 11 years old or younger at the time of the loan. Now these loans were issued back in 2020 and 2021 while the rest of the world struggled with the COVID-19 pandemic and it's unclear what they were used for. While it is possible to have business arrangements where this is legal, that is highly unlikely for these 5,593 loans, as they all used an SSN with the incorrect name, the agency wrote. Is this saying they all used the same such as security number? Well, and I had to read it through several times too, either saying that or there was
Starting point is 00:25:51 a mismatch in 5600 loans where the social security number did not match the name on the loan, which I find stunning in itself right there, Rick, that there was no verification on these loans? Doc, it says and SSN and Social Security number that's a singular. Right. With the incorrect name singular. The way I'm reading this is there were nearly,600 loans that all used the same Social Security number and the same name All right, and they're 11 years old Well got the money yes Well when making the announcement Doe shared a post on X from Tuesday when also revealed listen to this
Starting point is 00:26:40 That's another complexity layer complexity to this also revealed revealed that in 2021, the Small Business Administration issued nearly 3,100 loans for $333 million to borrowers over 115 years old. Okay? So, if you're over 115 or 11 or younger, you have a higher likelihood of getting an SBA loan. Right. In fact, there was one that in the database where a 157-year-old individual received $36,000 in loans. Boy. Who's approving this?
Starting point is 00:27:16 Right. Did they pay the loans back, or were they forgiven? Well, why would you pay them back if you're... I'm just asking. Of course they weren't paid back. Well, there has to be a paper trail. You would think. There has to be names of SBA officials who signed off on it.
Starting point is 00:27:39 And that's on the local level, too. That's not just sitting up in D.C. You have to go into a local SBA office. So you tell me an 11-year-old went in 5,600 times and ended up getting hundreds of millions of dollars in loans. And where did the money go? There's a route. There's a digital route.
Starting point is 00:28:03 You can see where the money went right who received the money Okay, you know the name of the bank So they don't just send a check they send it to a bank. Yes So the bank is obligated to tell banking regulators Federal banking regulators who owned the account know your customer and. And where are the banks in all this, Rick? I mean, a local bank, I mean, if the money is being sent to a local bank, I mean, don't they have a fiduciary responsibility? That's what I'm saying. So there's a lot of no yours in the
Starting point is 00:28:38 know your customer story. We have to know everything about you because we're obligated to know our customer. What did you know? Your customer's here? 11-year-olds getting... That's a great question, Greg. Getting SBA loans? Nobody walked into the bank presence and said, hey, something weird's going on out here. Take a look out there in the lobby. See, that's 11-year-old. He just got a million dollar SBA loan. Let's see, there's something extremely corrupt here. And maybe the banks were getting the money.
Starting point is 00:29:08 And that's kind of what I'm implying here, that somewhere in the middle, someone grabbed the money. I guess we'll find out here what's going on. Maybe we'll find out. Any government spending on the federal level that's been legitimate? I think the thing that's frustrating me isn't that, well, you know, we lost this money. When are we going to start prosecuting people for fraud?
Starting point is 00:29:32 When's that going to happen? At what point are there going to be charges filed against institutions and individuals? I haven't heard anybody say anything about it, Doc. Right. It's kind of like a little joke. Wow, that's a lot of money. Yes. Well, I don't think it's funny at all.
Starting point is 00:29:50 If this is real, somebody needs to go to prison. Right. You stole from me. You stole from me, a U.S. citizen. You stole that money from me. When are we going to see a governor ask Elon Musk to come to his or her state and do an audit? This is going to continue all the way down the line, down to city level, county level,
Starting point is 00:30:16 if anybody would ever open up their systems to it. All right, next one. Lady Gaga accused of performing satanic ritual during Saturday Night Live amid mounting backlash. This is bizarre. This is like spirit cooking level. NBC? Yes. First of all, I failed to see the humor in it. Well, there was no humorist and it wasn't intended to be funny doc There was no intention for them to be funny
Starting point is 00:30:54 There they're spiritually defiling the nation. Yes They're flaunting their satanic worship Using a so-called comedy show that stopped being funny a long time ago. They're using a so-called comedy show to Worship Lucifer. Yes You tell me that not one member of the Saturday Night Live cast didn't Find it repulsive and say I'm not participating in this and find it repulsive and say, I'm not participating in this. I'm not reading these lines.
Starting point is 00:31:27 I'm not going out there. I'm not saying this. They all participated in it. What was the purpose? Why would NBC approve this skit? Unless there are Satanists at the very top of the corporate structure of NBC. That's part of it.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Plus they were... And who owns NBC? Universal. Comcast. Yes. Comcast. At the top is Comcast. And you're going to get to the J-Tribe. Sooner or later.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Sooner or later, you get to the J-Tribe. I know a lot of people are encouraged to think, well, the election went the right way, good things are happening, we don't have anything to worry about. But I'm telling you, Satan and his followers are becoming emboldened. You're having satanic rituals on national network television shows. And a lot of people are accepting it, embracing it. I am completely persuaded that this country is on track for a colossal calamity. I do not believe that the election has stopped it. I believe it's right on schedule. I don't think it's going to happen in the next four years.
Starting point is 00:33:33 I still have my reasons to believe that it's in the early 2030s, but we are right on schedule. We were on schedule for a colossal calamity, and this one we may not get up off the mat. The wickedness is so great, and the response of the Church is so feeble, because the churches in America are not responding with the Word of God and with the blood of Christ. They're responding with politics. Yes.
Starting point is 00:34:10 Because Satan flaunting a human heart-eating ritual in front of millions of people in their living rooms watching television. What's Lance Wallnau talking about? What's Franklin Graham talking about? What are all these evangelicals doing? They're talking about the election. Yes. You better speak the blood of Jesus Christ over this country. We're in deep spiritual warfare, and I believe that we're headed for a colossal calamity. This is not the only one. Fox News social media explodes as Senator Sanders. Oh, another member of the tribe. I can't help it. It just keeps
Starting point is 00:35:06 showing up. Why? Why they mad? Because he hosted a transgendered musician who sang, well, it says pure evil. There's no such thing as pure evil. You can't be pure and evil at the same time. Right. You know, who's saying a 100% evil song at an anti-Trump rally? The song is so grotesque, so blasphemous, we can't even tell you the lyrics. It attacks Jesus Christ, it attacks the resurrection, it is vulgar, it makes vulgar references to Almighty God. And this song was sung at a Bernie Sanders political rally. So Senator Sanders, who is a member of the tribe, thought this song was delightful.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Yeah, he came up right after the song. Yes. Right after the song. And once again, the lyrics are so explicit, we can't share it with you here on the Godcast today. Sexually explicit. So you know, it's grotesque, it's gross, it's blasphemous, and yet that's who they allow at these rallies. That's who Bernie Sanders introduces. That's who he endorses. And so,
Starting point is 00:36:38 once again, this is just Satan worship, too, ladies and gentlemen. worship to, ladies and gentlemen. Yes. Paul Watson reporting, top streamer says violent threats on Reddit will lead to real ID for the internet. various influencers who are pretty edgy themselves saying, hey, calm it down. Bring it down. This is getting out of control. If this continues, there's going to be a backlash and there's going to be a real ID, an identification system to allow people to be on the Internet.
Starting point is 00:37:28 That's something that China's introducing. Yes. But it could come here to the USA. I'll let you read this, Doc. Top streamer Asmongold predicts that the sheer amount of violent threats being posted on Reddit will grease the skids for an Internet ID system that will end online anonymity. Since President Trump took office, the far left website has seen a massive uptick in threats of violence targeting President Trump, people in his administration, and just conservatives
Starting point is 00:38:00 in general. So last month, Reddit temporarily banned multiple pages after users began posting threats aimed at staff working for the Department of Government Deficiency. Now according to popular streamer Asmongold, the deluge of threats will provide a pretext for the government to mandate tying a person's real ID to their online new user account. Now, mind you, Asmongold is not a conservative. He is a liberal. And so he's making this warning to his fellow leftists there. Hey, calm it down, folks. They're about ready to do a crackdown on this. So we have a video, Rick. I don't know if you're here. Yeah, sure. Let's watch it.
Starting point is 00:38:46 You do it with Luigi? I think it should. It absolutely should. You have people that are up voting and glorifying political violence all over this website and it's completely become a radical terrorist breeding ground. Like it's actually insane how bad this is. Like I'm surprised that Reddit hasn't come out with a statement about it considering how bad this is. Yeah, it's awful.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Luigi's innocent until proven guilty? You're right. He is. He deserves his day in court. And I sure hope that I'm going to be able to watch it. Imagine advocating for a heavy content moderation and then complain when it gets turned back on you. Yep, there it is.
Starting point is 00:39:24 And I find this also to be funny is that Reddit is a very sensorial website. They constantly ban people for things that are like wrong think, right? Or having the wrong opinion or saying the wrong thing about something. And now these people are on the receiving end of it and they're crying about free speech. But they were never crying about free speech from people that they disagreed with for getting banned. And so billionaires are terrified. Let's keep going. Yep, this is going to be they got to deal with it. It's getting bad.
Starting point is 00:39:56 It's getting real bad. These people are speed running internet real ID. I just hope that they understand that. What's the perfect amount of moderation? The perfect amount of moderation is that people who get banned, sorry, the perfect amount of moderation is moderating in accordance to the First Amendment. That's the perfect amount of moderation. So that means if you're moderating and also doxxing,
Starting point is 00:40:22 because doxxing is like kind of not in the First Amendment, right? That's the other one, right? And so, and laws, right? So, the law, yeah, exactly. Like, you just follow the law and you ban people based off of things that they say that break the law. And so, yeah, that's it. They don't realize that and they think they're rebel heroes?
Starting point is 00:40:36 Yeah, they're actually the only people they're going to be heroes for are the government, because the deep state government people are going to be able to justify a real ID on the internet thing Like let's say we have a couple more terrorist attacks like Luigi We're absolutely gonna get real ID on the internet Like South Korea already has it other countries are considering it and I've heard it's actually happened in a couple of other countries, too I don't remember though That's exactly what's going to happen Our calls to violence illegal? Yes they are. He's referring to Luigi, he's talking about
Starting point is 00:41:09 the man who's been arrested accused of murdering the United Health Care Executive CEO. But Doc, on the left, his murder is glorified. The leftists want more corporate executives murdered. We're in a very dangerous time. And, you know, again, I know everybody on the right is thinking things are under control, but they're not. The left is becoming extremely paranoid and emboldened and quite willing to carry out acts of violence. And when you read this article, it's saying that leftists are calling for not only attacks against members of the Trump administration and senators and congressmen, but against
Starting point is 00:42:19 the supporters of Trump. That's right. In local communities. So you need to be prepared for it. They're not hinged. They're quite unstable people and their whole world is falling apart on them. The whole thing is falling apart on them and the money is disappearing. The money that financed all these leftist organizations is disappearing. And now it's got to come from real money
Starting point is 00:42:51 from the real leftists. Now they've got skin in the game. They have to put skin in the game. That's right. Then it becomes a bit more personal, doesn't it? It does. Let's take a look at the economy. Fox Business News.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Late car payments rise to highest level in over 30 years. This one you should pay attention to. Missed payments on auto loans by American car owners rose to the highest levels in three decades according to Fitch ratings. The percentage of borrowers with subprime car loans who are at least 60 days past due on their loans increased to 6.56% in January, the highest level since 1994. Well, 1994, Doc, the last stagflation cycle had just ended.
Starting point is 00:43:48 I remember that period of time. Yes. So isn't it interesting that these numbers are going back to where at the beginning of the stagflation cycle, and these numbers are equaling the numbers at the end of the previous stagflation cycle, and these numbers are equaling the numbers at the end of the previous stagflation cycle, which means that they're going to go up even more. It says the share of 60-day past-due subprime auto loan borrowers has remained above 6% since August 2024.
Starting point is 00:44:30 Here's a, this is a short video clip from Fox Business about the auto loans, let's watch. Welcome back, the price of owning a car is skyrocketing and the sticker shock is forcing some drivers to pump the brakes on paying the bills. Fox Business' Jeff Flock live from Eugene's Auto Sales and Repair shop in Philadelphia. Jeff? That's right, right Maria. We usually come to a new car dealership, but you know a lot of people they they buy their cars at places like this. This is Eugene's. No E on the end of Eugene's,
Starting point is 00:44:57 by the way, just so you know. Yeah, take a look at the numbers on new car prices these days. The average sale price for a new car these days, about $48,000. Now that's been somewhat stable, but it's about $10,000 more than it was pre-pandemic, and that's not the half of it. What about the cost to maintain and repair your vehicle? According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, that's up 6% in the last year. And insurance? Have you seen your insurance bill lately? Yeah, that's up almost 20% according to the BLS. And insurance, have you seen your insurance bill lately? Yeah, that's up almost 20% according to the BLS. And Alan Siddler, the guy who owns this dealership, says people these days just cannot afford
Starting point is 00:45:34 more expensive vehicles, new or used. Listen. Previously, we were able to sell a lot more vehicles that were higher priced, maybe around 20, 30, 40 grand. People were coming in buying Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe, Maserati, all kinds of vehicles. Now most of my customer base is any vehicle from 5 to 15,000. Anything that's above 15,000 really just sits on a lot. Cost of, I leave you with these numbers Maria, the cost of operating a lot. Cost of I leave you with these numbers Maria the cost of operating a
Starting point is 00:46:06 vehicle these days about a about a thousand dollars a month pre-pandemic it was $750 a month we can get you into a nice Ford maybe because it's all you can afford these days. Those numbers make this the inflation shocking, isn't it? Yes. So, just five years time, new car going from $37,000 to $48,000. $48,000, $11,000 price increase. But the cost of maintenance, cost of insurance, all the expenses of having a car up, but people's incomes haven't gone up. Right.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Food is up. Every single thing is up. But income is not tracking. But income haven't gone up. Right. Food is up. Every single thing is up. But income is not tracking up. But income is not tracking up. Unless you're super rich. Unless you're in that upper class that continue to expand their revenue. So is this a canary in the coal mine situation? Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:00 That's exactly what it is. So it's when you see the Canary Cough and definitely coughing right now. So these kinds of statistics are bellwethers to tell us where things are headed in the very near future. So these are sub lower middle class people with challenged credit records, okay Upper class poor lower class middle class, you know lower level. They're struggling right now to make their car payments, right and Interest rates are going up With so there's no way to renew to to roll over the loan and get relief Because the interest rates are going on and it's unlikely that there's going to be renew to to roll over the loan and get relief because the interest rates are going on
Starting point is 00:47:46 And it's unlikely that there's going to be a break on new car prices because with the new tariffs The new tariffs are going to go into and they're gonna you can see 25% any Relief you're gonna see a bump. Yes, because Car manufacturers are not gonna take the hit themselves. They're going to pass it on to consumers. And that brings us to this next story, Wall Street Journal. President Trump declines to rule out recession. I have never seen a politician do this, ever in my lifetime. Even when they know they're in a recession.
Starting point is 00:48:20 Yes. They won't admit it. But Mr. Trump said, I can't rule it out. This is Wall Street, says President Trump declined to rule out that the U.S. economy would contract this year and enter a recession, saying that his sweeping economic agenda could cause short-term turbulence that he believed would drive future prosperity. Asked in a Sunday morning futures interview on Fox News if he was expecting a recession this year, Mr. Trump replied, I hate to predict things like that. There is a period of transition because what we're doing is very big.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Let's watch. And I want to ask you about Ukraine and the blow up the other day with Zelensky. Let me stay on the economy for a moment because there are rising worries about a slowdown. You've got the Atlanta Federal Reserve saying we're going to have a contraction in the first quarter. Look, I know that you inherited a mess, and you said that the other night. I've only been here two or three times. But are you expecting a recession this year?
Starting point is 00:49:21 I hate to predict things like that. There is a period of transition because what we're doing is very big. We're bringing wealth back to America. That's a big thing. And there are always periods of — it takes a little time. It takes a little time. But I think it should be great for us. I mean, I think it should be great.
Starting point is 00:49:43 It's going to be great ultimately for the farmer. So he's preparing the American people. Yes. Look, you're eliminating millions of government jobs, millions, Doc. You're taking hundreds of billions of dollars of federal money out of circulation, even though it's corrupt money. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:12 It's still money. It's still money. And he's reordering everything. He's putting the tariffs on a lot of products coming into the country. There's going to be an economic shock. And I would say that. He didn't say shock. It's a shock that's coming.
Starting point is 00:50:32 And he knows it. And his advisors have told him, if we do these things, there's going to be a period of time when the economy is going to freeze up. But eventually, new jobs will bring prosperity. And I believe that. What he's doing is he's forcing companies to bring their factories back to the USA. He is forcing companies to cancel plans to build factories outside the USA. But that's not going to happen tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:51:12 That's going to take one to two years for all these things to happen. In the meantime, there's going to be increased unemployment. There's going to be higher prices. We haven't mentioned AI, which we spent last week in Barcelona hearing about AI every place we went. This was the number one topic at a phone company conference, was AI. Yes.
Starting point is 00:51:40 They weren't even talking about phones. They weren't. Yeah, they didn't talk about phones. It's like, what are we doing here? This is, this is, but we could tell the phone executives, it was almost like they were baffled by it. They spent their time talking about AI, but they really didn't know what, how it was going to play out with their own industry.
Starting point is 00:51:59 But what I'm saying is, AI will eliminate millions of jobs in the next two years. You're going to see an economic shock. That's all there is to it. You can't do these things and not have ramifications. So how does that affect you? I'm going to give you some suggestions. This is coming from a guy that went through the first, not the first, but I went through my own stagflation cycle when I was a young man.
Starting point is 00:52:35 It started around 1975, went up to around 1990. For me, it was the first, basically the first 15 years of my marriage, Doc. I mean, I got married at the start of a stagflation cycle. I got married in the middle of it. Right. So, you know, nobody tells you these things. Nobody says, hey, you know what? Raymond, you might want to think about this.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Might not be the best time to start a family. Country's in a stagflation cycle. Nobody talks like that. But I had to go through it. I learned a lot. And I want you to learn from what I learned. So I'm going to give you a couple tips. Number one, stop adding to your debt level. Cut it off now, immediately.
Starting point is 00:53:28 Get rid of debt. That's number two. Yes. Number one is stop adding to your debt level. Yes. Don't charge another thing to your credit card. Don't buy one more thing on time. Don't take on any more payments. Don't roll over another loan. Stop it. Cold turkey. Cut it off now. Trust me. You're going to need this, this stagflation cycle we're in. We're looking at 10 to 15 years. Not going to go away. Number two, what Doc said, pay down the debt. The first thing you've got to do is shut off. Quit living on debt.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Yes. You know, if you've got a flood coming in, if your house is flooding, the first thing you do is shut off the water valve. I mean, if you don't shut off the water valve, you're never going to stop the flooding. If your finances are flooding, shut off the water valve. It's the debt valve. Shut it off. That's the number one thing to do.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Stop buying things on debt. Number two, start paying down the debt that you have. And the way you do that is that you start with the smallest debt. And you just don't try to pay off everything else. Make your minimum payments on everything else, but on the smallest one, pour all that you can on that smallest debt. And then, once you get that one knocked out of the rate, move to the next one. And take the money that you were spending on that small debt and pour it onto the second smallest debt and pay it off and then keep doing that. And in a reasonable amount of time, you will be debt
Starting point is 00:55:15 free if you don't add more debt. The third thing I would recommend that you do Find a side hustle Doc it was big during that time Doc everybody don't say everybody a lot of people had side jobs a Lot of people started small businesses on top of their regular job. Don't quit your job to start a business Don't quit your job to start a business. Don't quit your job That's not a good thing to do right now. I did that that was really dumb again. I didn't have anybody tell me Yeah, they don't teach you this in school No
Starting point is 00:56:01 But but find a side hustle Find a way to make extra money and use that extra money to pay off your debt. And when you get your debt paid off, continue with your side hustle and build up a cash reserve. And then when you have a cash reserve, you know what you can do then? You can buy precious metals. Yes. You can buy gold and silver. You can go from negative to positive. You can start paying yourself first. Yes. Then you buy gold and silver. You can go from negative to positive. You can start paying yourself first.
Starting point is 00:56:26 Yes, then you're paying yourself first. And you're now building a positive financial base for yourself. By far, the most important thing to do is become a faithful giver. Yes. Put your trust in God. Bring an offering to God. Every time you get paid, bring an offering to the Lord and show Almighty God that your trust is in Him, that you are counting on Him to take care of you, that He is your supply, He is everything to you, and when you bring that offering,
Starting point is 00:57:06 that financial offering, look, he doesn't need your money. Yes. He owns a kettle on Thousand Hills. He owns the hills. That's right. He made the hills, okay? He doesn't need the money, but you need his money. You get that?
Starting point is 00:57:22 He doesn't need your money, you need his. He's got lots of it. And he doesn't deal in fiat cash. He makes gold. He made the gold. He made the silver. Okay? So get in alignment with his system. His system is based on giving. Give and receive. The world system is based on take, take, take, keep, keep, keep, take and keep, take and keep, and hoard it. God's system is give. Let go. Let go of it. And more comes in. Your mind has to be completely reworked to understand these principles. But if you will do this this year,
Starting point is 00:58:14 you will see a change in your finances this year. This might be going over the head of a lot of people. But I'm hoping that there's some of you, you'll catch it. You say, OK, I'm going to do it. I'm going to try it. Okay, go ahead and try it. Because God doesn't try. He does things.
Starting point is 00:58:33 But He'll take you at your try. All right? You just go ahead and try it. God will do. Because He keeps His Word. Amen. And He will bless you. So those are the things I would recommend. This financial system is not going to—we're going to have extreme fluctuation in the economy.
Starting point is 00:59:04 Extreme, okay? So we're going to have extreme fluctuation in the economy. Extreme. Okay? It's going to be a roller coaster ride. Make sure you're strapped in. But if you're holding on to God, you don't have anything to worry about. You're going to see businesses close. You're going to see big corporations go under.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Doc, over the weekend, I don't know what it was. I just saw there's like article after article about restaurant chains closing. Red Robin. When's the last time? I haven't seen a Red Robin restaurant for years. There's a few up in Orlando. They're closing. Really? Yeah. I saw Joanne Fabrics is shutting completely. Joanne, 800 stores, Joanne Fabrics. I'm trying to remember some of the other odd. Joanne Fabrics, by the way, is a cost-saving retailer. Think about that.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Why do people go to Joanne Fabrics? They go to make their own crafts, their own clothes, things like that. It's a cost-saving retailer. Gone. Bankrupt. That's right. My grandmother shopped at Joanne Fabrics.
Starting point is 01:00:11 Got her patterns there. Got her material at Joanne's. Gone. Yes. That's what happened in the other cycle. Back in the 70s, 80s, a lot of companies disappeared. New companies started. That's right.
Starting point is 01:00:27 So don't be shocked when you hear re-reports that a company has closed its doors, or tens of thousands of people being laid off. You're going to hear this every week in the coming years. It's going to be a regular part of the new cycle. What you have to know is if you have put your trust in your faith in God, if you are a faithful giver, He's going to take care of you. He's going to make sure you have a job. He's going to make sure you have finances. He'll bring you to the place where you're the head, not the tail, where you're the lender
Starting point is 01:01:07 and not the borrower. You'll have people borrowing from you. Listen, don't be upset by people wanting to borrow money from you. Praise God. They see something in you that they don't have. Praise God that you've got something to lend! Better to be the one that has the money to loan out than the people that have to get a loan. So, for everyone has to get a loan, it has to be somebody has the money to loan it out.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Right. God says He'll make you the lender and not the borrower. He'll make you the head and not the tail. But you've got to line up with His system. You have to do it His way. And His way is by faith. It's always by faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. So those are some of the things I would recommend that you do.
Starting point is 01:02:01 We're just at the beginning of this financial reorganization, restructuring. I mentioned precious metals. I would, again, recommend Goco. Give them a call. There's their number right there, 844-960-GOLD. TrueNews4Gold.com. QR code is on the screen. Doc, right now, as we get ready to close, Trudeau, what is the stock market today? Where is it right now?
Starting point is 01:02:32 The market just closed a few minutes ago. The Dow was down 890 points at the close. 800 and what? 890. Almost 900 points? Yes. Gold's down $23, but almost 900 points on the Dow right now. And they've closed for the day.
Starting point is 01:02:50 OK. Friends, listen to me. This is my advice. I'm not speaking on behalf of anybody. This is my own advice. There's going to be turbulence in the stock market. If you have your retirement account vested in stocks, you need to seriously think about whether you want to continue with all or most of your retirement funds, your investment funds in stocks.
Starting point is 01:03:24 Stocks will be, they'll come back someday. But right now, where we're at, you're going to see turbulence. For weeks, months, maybe a year or two, there's going to be turbulence. We could be on the beginning of a bear market that could go for years. You don't want to be blindsided by it. You want to move your funds over to a precious metals fund. That's my personal view. And the company I would recommend is GoldCo. Give them a call. Look, don't hesitate. Do this today. The markets could be completely upside down by the end of this week. Yes.
Starting point is 01:04:12 You know what set this off? The recession talk. Donald Trump on Fox News saying, I can't rule out a recession. And everybody in Wall Street today said- That spooked. Are you serious? It's not based on facts, not based on actual information, based on a feeling. Oh, President Trump's not ruling out a recession.
Starting point is 01:04:32 Oh, we'd better do something. There are some people speculating that Mr. Trump is trying to spark a recession. What would be the motivation of that? Maybe AI told them that this is the policy, this is the way to do it. I don't know. I think there's going to be a recession anyway, just because of the Biden policies. But it may be because of that. Let's just get it over with as quickly as possible.
Starting point is 01:04:57 Right. Oh, I see. Yeah, I could see that. Let's just do it. Let's get it done and move on. But Mr. Trump deliberately said, I can't rule out a recession. And today the stock market dropped by almost 900 points. Give Gold Co. a call. 844-960-GOLD.
Starting point is 01:05:18 TrueNewsForGold.com. Tell them you heard about it on True News, and they will answer your questions and they'll get to work if you're serious about moving your funds. Also, if you want to purchase precious metals, that's the place to go. They do have a minimum, but Gold Co. is one of the biggest dealers in the United States. And a highly rated company. Give them a call. 844-960-GOLD.
Starting point is 01:05:49 That's it for today. Thank you so much. We'll be back here tomorrow with more true news. God bless you. Here are two massively important products to have in an emergency. Welcome to Morning Manah, it's Monday and we are now beginning a new chapter in the study of the book of Romans. We're in chapter seven.
Starting point is 01:06:57 We will be studying verses one through six. Let's pray. Invite the Holy Spirit, then Dr. Burkhart will read the Word of God. We'll begin our study. Dear gracious Heavenly Father, we come to you with thanksgiving and praise. Thank you Father. We thank you for this beautiful day and for divine health, for prosperity, for the goodness that you bestow upon us, the mercy, the grace, all the benefits of your kingdom made possible to us by the sacrifice of your son, Jesus on the cross. Where he defeated death, hell and the grave and Satan's kingdom was defeated and we were ushered into your kingdom. Father, we will walk worthy of our calling, worthy of our citizenship.
Starting point is 01:07:48 So Father, we have gathered here today, brothers and sisters from many nations, to be taught by your Holy Spirit, the principles of your kingdom. So teach us Lord, in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. And welcome back to Morning Manna here and we realize some of you are adjusting to the time change and everything and so if you're coming in later, well, we'll see you then. So we are in chapter seven, the book of Romans today. I'm going to be reading verses one through six. So if you'll turn there with me, I'm reading from the King James today. And it reads as follows.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Verse one, no ye not, brethren, for I speak to them that know the law, how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth. For the woman which hath a husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth. But if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law to her husband so long as he liveth. But if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. So then if while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress. But if her husband be dead, she is free from the law,
Starting point is 01:08:59 so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ, that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sin which were by the law did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held, that we should serve in newness of spirit and not in the oldness of the letter." God bless the reading of His Word.
Starting point is 01:09:40 Romans chapter 7 verses 1 through 6 today. Amen. Verse one, no ye not brethren, for I speak to them that know the law, how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth. So Paul is speaking to an audience that's well versed in legal principles,
Starting point is 01:10:04 particularly Jewish Christians and Gentiles who were acquainted with Jewish customs and laws. The law's dominion applies only during a person's lifetime. Paul says, a person's lifetime. Paul says, don't you know, brothers, I'm speaking to men who know the law, that the law has dominion over man for as long as he lives. This is a universally understood principle, and Paul used it as the foundation for his argument. Dominion, the Greek word means absolute authority over an individual. Yes. Paul said the law had dominion, absolute authority over an individual for as long as that man or woman lives.
Starting point is 01:11:05 That legal authority, that dominion lasts until death, making death a natural terminator of legal obligations, whether moral, ceremonial, or civil. You can't hold anyone responsible to obey the law after they've died. But while they're alive, the law is in effect. So as I said, death is the natural terminator of obligations. And Paul's using this to paint a picture of the freedom that we
Starting point is 01:11:51 have from the law through Jesus Christ. And this principle is setting the stage for Paul's bigger argument that believers having died with Christ are no longer under the law's dominion. Yes, then why do so many people try to go back to it, Rick? Why is that? You're dead to it. You're dead. Why do people try to seek out putting themselves back under the yoke of the law? It follows the mongren, doesn't it? It does. I guess grace is just too simple. It can't be that easy. That's the only thing I can think of. They reason in their mind it can't be that easy. There must be some religious rules because nothing can be
Starting point is 01:12:46 that simple and easy. But grace is easy. It's simple. That's why it's called good news. Yes, it's man that makes it complicated. Yeah, the reason it's called good news is because it's so easy and simple. It's so easy and simple. What Paul's doing in verse one is he's introducing, he's preparing the audience for the concept he's gonna introduce in verse two. He's going to introduce a marriage metaphor that illustrates that the Christian believer's
Starting point is 01:13:24 new relationship to the law and grace. He's preparing his readers for his argument that believers through spiritual death with Christ are no longer bound by the law. Another thing that we see in the seventh chapter of Romans, as compared to the first six chapters, Paul is shifting the focus from being justified by faith to exploring how believers are sanctified and live free from sin and the law. Yes. The Mosaic Law as a covenant was binding for life, what was always intended to be fulfilled and surpassed by the coming of Jesus Christ the Messiah. That's the good news. Jesus Christ fulfilled the law. If you are in Christ you have fulfilled the law. You can start living now. You
Starting point is 01:14:38 can start enjoying the life. You don't have to worry that you're breaking the law. Hallelujah. So by starting with this legal principle, Paul is preparing the readers of his letter to the church in Rome to grasp the spiritual freedom and grace they now have in Jesus Christ. So the central message in these six verses is that believers through spiritual death and union with Christ. Are no longer under the laws jurisdiction jurisdiction, and dominion. And that reassures us that our spiritual renewal breaks the laws binding power. And that gives us hope and motivation for living in grace.
Starting point is 01:15:42 Yes. That's why God's people are supposed to be the most joyful people in the world. People who are under the law aren't joyful. So Paul's inviting embrace their new identity in Christ and live in alignment with God's grace. You're going to get this down in your spirit how essential it is to know your identity in Christ because once you know who you are in Christ you now begin walking in the fullness of all of the benefits bestowed upon the believers in the New Covenant. There are so many benefits in the New Covenant, but you'll never appropriate them. You'll never walk in them if you don't know your identity in Christ. Verse 2.
Starting point is 01:16:49 For the woman which hath a husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth, but if the husband be dead, she is lo law bound the wife to her husband for life. Everybody who read that letter knew that death was the sole event that dissolved the legal and moral ties of marriage. So what is Paul teaching in this verse? He's teaching us that believers are released from the dominion of the law through their spiritual death with Christ.
Starting point is 01:17:38 Yes. When do you enter that spiritual death with Christ when you are baptized in water? See, we keep going back to baptism. It's not just some nice religious ritual that you may or may not want to do. It has deep meaning and purpose. You are buried with Christ and you are resurrected when you come up out of the water. And so Paul is teaching that believers are released from the dominion of the law
Starting point is 01:18:27 through their spiritual death with Christ. The law has limited authority. It binds only as long as a person lives. Yes. The law has no ability to offer eternal life or grace. So just as the widow is free to remarry, the believer freed from the law is now able to enter into a new covenant relationship with Almighty God through the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ Right Anything you want to add on this doc
Starting point is 01:19:18 No, it's just You know, it's a concept that it seems like a lot of believers still have a difficult time in grasping that they're dead. They died. Dead. Dead, dead. Not just a little bit dead. Not just mostly dead, but dead. And so you are no longer under the obligation of the old covenant, whether you're a Jew or Gentile, whatever it is that you were beforehand, when you died in Christ through confession and through baptism, you have now entered into a new covenant. The old covenant does not apply to you anymore.
Starting point is 01:19:56 I'll say it again. The old covenant does not apply to you anymore. Can we use the old covenant to teach us and to learn from and everything? Yes. Paul makes that clear later on in Romans as well, that it acts like a school teacher, if you will, or tutor or mentor. But it's not for us to rely on that. Our grace does not depend on the Old Covenant. It depends on our relationship to the new covenant, which we entered into through confession and baptism. Yes. Verse two, let's read it again.
Starting point is 01:20:36 For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives. But if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband. So who is the husband? The husband's death represents the believer spiritual death in Christ. Yes. Which ends the law of authority and dominion and opens the way for a new life under grace, you're free. And now you can be married again
Starting point is 01:21:20 and a new relationship that's not adulterous. You're married to Christ. By using this marriage analogy, Paul's setting the stage for believers, for the believers' spiritual journey. He's transitioning us from the restrictions, the confines of the law, to the freedom of grace, a grace-filled life under the new covenant. Right. And by implication here, he's also saying we can't access that life of grace until we're dead. We can't. That's right. We are under obligation to the Old Covenant, whether we're Jew or Gentile, we're still bound within that framework of the Old Covenant, the law, and
Starting point is 01:22:07 we can't access the grace of God until we are beyond that Old Covenant. That Old Covenant, God's not rescinding it. God did not rescind the Old Covenant, but one of the parties has died. That's you. And now you can access a new contract or a new covenant now. You can't go back to the old one. The old one is null and void. Even if you tried to go back to it,
Starting point is 01:22:33 it means nothing now. It's like trying to go back to an old mortgage in the terms of the old mortgage after you've refinanced and say, well, I like the payments back then better. No, you can't go back. You're under a new obligation, a new contract. If we can just get that into people's spirit today, the only way you can access grace is you had to die.
Starting point is 01:23:00 You had to die, and the reason you had to die was to break the obligation to the Old Covenant. Yes. So what is, what is the, what basically, what is the theme that Paul is teaching us in verse 2? using the analogy of marriage to illustrate the Christian believers liberation from the Mosaic law. This analogy is preparing believers to grasp and understand and accept their new identity in Christ. Amen.
Starting point is 01:23:50 By emphasizing the finality of death in breaking legal bonds. And by doing that, Paul is setting up his argument for spiritual freedom under grace. He's inviting all believers to embrace their transformed life in Christ. So now we move to verse three. So then if while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress. But if her husband be dead, she is free from
Starting point is 01:24:26 that law so that she is no longer an adulteress, though she be married to another man." So marriage law strictly binds a wife to her husband as long as he lives. And entering into another marriage while the husband is alive constitutes adultery. And so that highlights the law's authority over marriage as a moral and legal covenant. The death of the husband dissolves the marriage covenant and that frees the wife to remarry without violating the law and being deemed an adulterous.
Starting point is 01:25:13 And yet there are people who try to live both with the old covenant and the new covenant. Right. They try to live with both. And Paul is saying that's the equivalent of adultery. You can't do it. And so all these folks that mix the old covenant and the new covenant together, they're treading on very dangerous ground here. Are you committing adultery, or in the case with our relationship with the Lord, idolatry, by trying to keep the law and live under the new covenant. It can't be done. You have to die. So verse 2 is
Starting point is 01:25:58 setting the foundation for understanding the believers transition from the constraints of the law to the liberty in grace. And this shift is central in Paul's message. It illustrates how the believers relationship to the law fundamentally changes. Marriage's legal and moral dimensions parallel the law's binding authority. The reason he's using marriage as the analogy. The widow's lawful freedom to remarry symbolizes how believers are no longer under the law's dominion but are now free to live in a new covenant relationship with Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 01:26:58 See as long as you're under the law you can't marry Jesus. That's what it says. You're married to the law. You can't get away until you leave the law, until the law has, you have died to the law. Then you're free to marry Christ. So just as a widow is free to remarry, believers are released from the law through their spiritual union with Christ and his death. And this new freedom allows them to enter into the covenant of grace. And now they live under a different set of spiritual obligations.
Starting point is 01:27:49 They're no longer bound to the laws condemnation. Instead they can embrace their new spiritual identity. They can live in grace, find hope and joy in the relationship with Jesus Christ. Amen. Find hope and joy in the relationship with Jesus Christ. Amen So we move to verse 4 Wherefore my brethren Ye also are become dead to the law
Starting point is 01:28:22 By the body of Christ that ye should be married to another even to him who is raised from the dead that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Believers are made dead to the law through the sacrificial body of Jesus Christ. to the sacrificial body of Jesus Christ. Right. And that ends the law's binding authority and it frees them from condemnation. So the physical death of Jesus serves as the pivotal act that liberates believers,
Starting point is 01:29:05 fulfills the law's demands, and enables a new spiritual state. This marriage metaphor, Paul continues to use this marriage metaphor to teach this principle that believers are now married to Jesus Christ. So this symbolizes a new covenant relationship where Jesus's resurrection life empowers us to live a full life in this world under the grace of God.
Starting point is 01:29:55 And again, this is why we should be the happiest people on earth. Our face should be radiating with this joy. The primary goal with this new union is to bring forth fruit unto God. What is the purpose of man? To glorify God and to enjoy him forever. Amen. That's the purpose of this union, this marriage. When you were married to Christ, when the law died and you were free to marry Christ, the purpose of the
Starting point is 01:30:39 marriage is to bring forth fruit unto God, a life of righteousness, holiness, active service to God, a sanctified life that shows the world that you are under a new master. Not the old law, but you're now under the lordship of Jesus Christ. Because lordship means ownership. So this new fruitfulness is connected to the resurrection. This new fruitfulness is connected to the resurrection. Amen. Praise God. By the body of Christ.
Starting point is 01:31:32 Yes. By the body of Christ. You're married to one who rose from the dead. His resurrection power brings fruitfulness to your life. It transforms the lives of all believers so that we live righteously, productively. And bring forth fruit. Yes. My friend, I don't know, Doc, I wasn't even thinking about this this morning, but I woke up long before my normal time. I didn't get out of bed. I was just there lying in bed thinking. but fruitfulness was on my mind. Like how many people claim to be Christians and yet there's no fruit.
Starting point is 01:32:37 Right. My friends, it's not possible. If there's no fruit in your life, you better get some fertilizer and water into your root system and you better start generating some buds to show God, hey, it's not dead. There's something happening here. I just I shudder when I think about people who claim to be Christians who go to their graves with no fruit. Yes. You really have to question whether or not they are believers because that should be the natural extension of belief. Fruit.
Starting point is 01:33:27 If you're an apple tree, what should I expect from an apple tree? I should expect apples. If I don't get apples, if I'm just growing a tree, then what good is it to me? It serves no purpose other than to cut down and be thrown into the fire. And Jesus said that in the gospels. Yes, that terrifies me. If people are flippant about this principle, there has to be fruit. No fruit, you will be cut down and cast into the fire. No fruit you will be cut down and cast into the fire.
Starting point is 01:34:10 Look, all of us, just like trees and bushes, we have seasons where we, where the fruit is not as abundant as in other seasons. But the gardener, the orchardist, is watching those trees. And when he's confident, hey, they're going to come back next season. I'll just keep loving on this tree. I'll just keep fertilizing this bush. I'll keep watering it. It's gone through a dry season, but next year it's gonna produce fruit. See, all of us go through seasons of low fruit and abundant fruit,
Starting point is 01:34:57 but you don't wanna go through long, repeated seasons of no fruit. How many years does a farmer, an orchardist, allow fruit trees to continue to exist when there's no fruit? Right. What's the point in working the orchard? You can do something else with the land.
Starting point is 01:35:27 You can do something else with the land. So don't be afraid, but be concerned. Make it your goal today. You're going to produce fruit for the kingdom of God. What's this fruit that God wants? That we should bring forth fruit under God. That he would be praised, that he would be glorified. That the way that we live, the way that we talk, the way that we act, the way that we think,
Starting point is 01:36:04 the way that we live our the way that we act, the way that we think, the way that we live our lives, brings glory to him. If you're caught up into your emotions and your feelings, your past hurts, past offenses, You're angry, you're bitter, you're unforgiving. And that's all you think about. It's all you talk about. That's not fruit. It's bitter fruit. It's something nobody wants to bite into. There's no no flavor. It's something you spit out. That's why you have to get over those things and move on so you can produce good delicious fruit in your life. Amen. Let those old things go.
Starting point is 01:37:03 So that's something new can grow in your life. Your life ought to be feeding other people. People should be spiritually feeding from you. If you got two trees and one's a barren stick with thorns and the other one's hanging bent over with fruit, which which tree do you prefer? So you got to you got to do your own self-inspection of your life. Right. You've got to ask yourself, if there's no fruit, what's wrong with the tree? That's right. If there's no fruit, what's wrong with the tree if there's no fruit? That's right. And the Bible answers its own questions.
Starting point is 01:37:58 The Bible is a gardening book. You can find answers to gardening questions in the Bible. book, you can find answers to gardening questions in the Bible. You're dead. So, the law produces a sterile life, but grace produces an abundant life. Choose life with Christ. Embrace the liberty from law's condemnation. This freedom that allows us to live joyfully with purpose under the grace of God. This fruit under God represents not only a change in behavior, but a deepened commitment to a life of holiness and service to God. Romans 7, 5. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sin, which were by the law, did work in our members
Starting point is 01:39:12 to bring forth fruit unto death. The English version, modern English, says for when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law worked in our members to bring out fruit to death. So there is a dead fruit too? Yes. Not just fruitless,
Starting point is 01:39:39 but there are some who produce dead fruit. Oh, yeah. There are trees and bushes that produce dead fruit. Oh yeah there are trees and bushes that produce toxic fruit. You know when you're in a new area you have to know the you have to know which trees and bushes not to eat from. You know the native people hey, don't eat that thing. But if you just go in there and start picking berries off a bush, you might die. Because they're, it might be beautiful berries, but they're toxic, they're poisonous. So it's one thing to have to be fruitless, but it's another thing to be fruitful with toxic fruit, fruit that brings death. So in the flesh, anywhere you see in the Bible, in the flesh, it refers to a life dominated by sinful nature,
Starting point is 01:40:47 by the sinful nature of man. If somebody's living in the flesh, it means they're living without the grace of God, without the Holy Spirit. They're in their natural state before salvation. So this is humanity's vulnerability, a condition where sin rules unchallenged and life is lived apart from God's grace. The law exposes sin and paradoxically insights sinful passions by identifying Right. Just by the fact that the law says this is sin you can't do it. That in itself excites people to do it.
Starting point is 01:42:00 It's like telling a little kid, now don't touch the cookies on the counter. You see that cookie jar over there? Don't touch it. What's the nature of any child at that point? Oh no, I won't touch it. No, it's the opposite. We desire it then. Sin exposes the desire of our hearts. Sin exposes the desire of our hearts. Paul refers to the motions of sin, sinful passions. He's saying the law's commandments stimulate these sinful passions, and that in itself showcases the law's inability to conquer sin's power. So sin works through the physical members of the body, our hands, our feet, our eyes, our tongues. our tongues, and we use our bodies as instruments to commit acts that lead to condemnation. And the ultimate result of these sinful actions is death.
Starting point is 01:43:19 Not just physical death, but spiritual eternal death. Because that's the destructive nature of life under the law's dominion. Amen. The law is effective in revealing sin, but powerless to provide the strength to overcome it. And that leaves us in a state of helplessness apart from divine intervention from heaven and that divine intervention from heaven was the messiah and after his departure the holy spirit
Starting point is 01:44:02 Archer, the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, I'll send the helper. The Holy Spirit is here to help you live victoriously, to conquer sin, to have victory over every situation in your life. That was in my prayer this morning, Doc. Victory, victory, victory, victory. I'm not interested in anything less than victory. Yes. Verse six, but now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held, that we should serve in newness of spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.
Starting point is 01:45:01 So believers in Christ are released from the laws, authority and condemnation, having died to it through their union with Christ's death and resurrection. The phrase that in which we were held refers to the law's power, which revealed sin and brought condemnation, but could not liberate. Right. But now, believers live in the newness of spirit, empowered by the Holy Spirit. And that brings about genuine service to God, a heartfelt devotion to the Lord.
Starting point is 01:45:48 The oldness of the letter is in contrast with the spirit led life. The oldness of the letter refers to the rigid lifeless law and its requirements. So the believer's spiritual death with Christ breaks the law's hold on us. Yes. And it allows for a new relationship with Almighty God based on grace. for a new relationship with Almighty God based on grace. The spirit led life is characterized by liberty, joy, gratitude. That's in stark contrast to the fear driven obligation bound service under the law.
Starting point is 01:46:51 The law, a life that was bound by the law, had no joy, it had no fruit, it just had condemnation. It had religious rules and regulations and obligations. But in Christ, life in Christ is marked by holiness, by vitality, by faith, and the understanding of the fulfillment of the law through Christ. Amen. And so living by the Spirit fulfills what the law intended without the burdens of the law. What the law intended was righteousness and godliness, but the law could not provide it.
Starting point is 01:47:53 Well, that was verse 6. Anything you want to add, Doc? Well, where it says that wherein we were held, it's not like a casual holding. We were in bondage, like slavery. That's what the phrase means there. There's no way a slave frees himself. The only thing he becomes is a runaway slave if he happens to get free. He's still a slave. happens to get free. He's still a slave. But what we do is when we die, that not only are the bonds broken, but the obligation is broken too. We're no longer a slave. We died. We're dead. And so now we're free to serve a new master, where we choose to serve, that we
Starting point is 01:48:41 should serve. It's a different word than we're being held, that we should do loss, that we should be a grateful servant in newness of spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. I don't know how much more clear Paul can make this to those believers who continue to rely to those believers who continue to rely on the law to justify themselves or to declare their righteousness. If you are, you're not dead. You're still a slave. You're still bound. If you keep going back to the law, you are still bound by the law. You're not dead yet. You haven't reached that point in your in your spiritual walk where you've said, I really am a dead guy. And it's unfortunate because it seems like there's a, you know, the modern take on
Starting point is 01:49:38 this Rick is, well I'm a good person. I'm a good person. A good based on what? Well, I'm nice to people. I don't kick dogs, help old ladies across the street. I'm a good person. Well, whether they realize it or not, they are obligating themselves to a law. It may be an imagined interpretation of the law, but they're obligating themselves to the law.
Starting point is 01:50:04 Now, does that mean that we shouldn't be kind? We shouldn't help old ladies across the street? No, but if you're doing that to declare your righteousness, it means nothing at all. It has no value. You're still a slave. You're just a runaway slave is the difference. Yes, I agree.
Starting point is 01:50:21 Very good. You know, look, Romans for me is, this is like a college course that you had to pass. It wasn't an elective. It's like required course. It's a required course, you know, I want to move on. I really do. I want to move on to other books, but I realize I have to pass this course, okay? It's foundational. You have to know who you are in Christ. That you've been liberated from the law. You're married to Christ. And now you've changed masters. The law was your master. But now you have a new master,
Starting point is 01:51:19 the Lord Jesus Christ who's a loving master. Amen. So Doc, I'm noticing here. All right, I have two rectangular moons on my screen. I see that. What they I just realized I just saw I've already made a note about it. So those are those are lights I forgot to turn off my apologies. I didn't those aren't moons And doc you have a large black Object sticking out. Yes My mic. Yeah, there you go. No, you need to take it back the other way
Starting point is 01:51:59 No, it it looks Where it's at right now is odd Or bring it towards you. Either way, huh? Now you can see it's like, okay, now you know it's a microphone. Solves the mystery. Without it being in that position,
Starting point is 01:52:16 you have no idea what that is. So, hey, it's our first day back, okay? So I will banish my moons by tomorrow. They won't be here. Well, hey, we're just grateful to be back. And again, I wanna thank everybody who prayed for us, kept us safe. You're right, Bob, need an eclipse.
Starting point is 01:52:45 Thank you for praying for us last week. Everything went well in Spain. We had a very productive week. And I'm not sure if everybody liked the things that we reported. We just told people what we heard. It wasn't that we were endorsing anything. It's just, hey, this is what we heard. This is what they're talking about. And, you know, we'll be talking
Starting point is 01:53:13 about these topics this week and next week. Learned a lot. Yes. Our world will change this year. But again, thank you so much. I thank everybody who contributed to the cost of sending us to Spain. It's an expensive trip and we're very grateful. We had a great team. Everybody worked together and it's always enjoyable. Well that's it for today. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 01:53:44 We'll be back here tomorrow. We'll pick it up on verse seven tomorrow. God bless you. We'll see you later today for our True News program. God bless you. We'll see you tomorrow on Morning Manor.
