World War 3 may have experienced its Archduke Ferdinand moment today. Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico was shot multiple times today by an assassin. The 59-year-old politician was rushed in his limousine to a nearby hospital in the city of Handlova where the prime minister was holding government meetings. He was later transported by helicopter to another hospital. Eyewitnesses said the assassin shot the prime minister in the stomach 3 or 4 times. There is also an unconfirmed report that he was also shot once in the head. The incident occurred outside the House of Culture in Handlova. And there are a few videos that we've accumulated to show you this first one.

This is the actual aftermath of the shooting. And so that is the prime minister on the sidewalk. And the assassin was captured and taken away, but there's no information yet, Doc. I've not been able to find any information who did it, the name of the assassin, where he came from. We also have this other video. I think we have one more. Yeah.

And this is... This is the prime minister being transported to the hospital. This is him arriving at the hospital. Like you said, Rick, it has been confirmed he was shot in the abdomen, unconfirmed that he may have also been shot in the head as well. We're still looking for additional information. Other reports out there have suggested that he was shot by a pro-Ukrainian activist out there, but that is unconfirmed as well. Do we have the video of him being put in the limousine?

We should. Okay, maybe we don't have it here. I don't see it. So the question is, who was the assassin? What was the motivation for an attempted killing of the prime minister of of slovakia um so let's look at a couple of previous articles that might give us some clues here's this first one is uh slovakia opposes ukraine's nato membership well doc that put mr fico um Ukraine's NATO membership. Well, Doc, that put Mr. Fico you could say in the crosshairs.

He came out publicly and said we would be opposed to Ukraine joining NATO. We don't want trouble with Russia. We want to be a good neighbor. And we're not looking to have nukes aimed at us.

Yes. So let's not put Ukraine in NATO. So there's clue number one. Another one, earlier this year in February, it was Mr. Figo who said that, well, this is a Washington Post article. This is today. That's today. But look at how they, look at how the Washington Post, when I saw this, Doc, I thought, oh, this is an older article. No, no, no.

But this is the Washington Post headline for today. It doesn't say he was assassinated. It says he was pro-Russian. Yes. What does that mean? He deserved to be shot that's right that's isn't that what the washington post is saying that's the message that you're getting primed not a big deal he was pro-russia so he got shot big deal that's what that's what the washington post is saying that's what you get fico slovakia's populist prime minister returned to power on a pro-Russian platform. There's another clue. So obviously, Doc, Putin didn't assassinate him.

I mean, everybody that gets shot that's not a Putin fan, Putin gets blamed for it. Right. But you can't blame Putin this time. No. If he's pro a putin fan putin gets blamed for it right but you can't blame putin this time no if he's pro-putin okay so if you use the the logic of the western propagandists if every critic of putin who gets who dies is automatically um assigned to their fate was caused by Putin. Putin ordered their assassination. They criticized Putin. They fell down

steps. Criticized Putin. They were in a car wreck. It's always Putin did it. Putin did it. Putin did it. Okay, so if we use the same logic, then can we not say that Zelensky ordered the death of the Slovakian prime minister?

Boy, you can't say that, Rick. But if you're using the same logic. Because Zelensky's our guy. But I'm just saying if you're using the same logic. I'm not saying that Zelensky ordered. I'm just saying if you use the same logic. Should not the headline say Zelensky ordered assassination of slovakia with no proof no evidence that's what they do to putin no proof no evidence they just say it in fact the last guy

what was the guy no no starts with an n um no boss not novoski no novalsky remember the the yeah that guy okay remember all the headlines that said Putin had him assassinated? Right. A couple weeks ago, a little, teeny little bitty article comes out. CIA said

Putin had nothing to do with it. Well, they already milked it for the headlines. Right. Then they bring the truth out later. Then they say, no, look, we never said he did it. That newspaper said it. The television network said it. The CIA never said it.

Here, we did an investigation and we said, no, it didn't have anything to do with it. But the news networks never report that headline because they've succeeded in getting the headlines into the minds of the people. That's right. And that's all that matters. That's all the headlines. Truth doesn't matter. All right. So I have no idea who ordered the assassination of the Slovakian prime minister, but I know it wasn't the Russians. And based on his statements and his actions, my first suspect would be a Ukrainian. Right. I mean, his opinion of Ukraine was that it's a U.S. shadow state. I mean, that was his opinion of it.

And earlier this year, the same day that Victor Orban said this as well, Slovakian Prime Minister says EU NATO members weighing sending troops to Ukraine. Now that's kind of a very milquetoast headline there. But you get into the article and everything. He's warning. He's warning that, hey, we're about, and Victor Orban was parallel on this with the same statement the same day. Basically, they let the cat out of the bag. They got a heads up that troops are going into Ukraine, and they let everybody know.

So if we went back to the February 26 episode of True News or the 27th in that time zone, we would – I'm certain we covered that story. We would have said, hey, hey everybody look at this the prime minister slovakia said they've already made a decision they're going to send troops into ukraine and as you said he let the cat out of the bag he told everybody what was happening that made enemies doc right that made enemies not only in kiev but it made enemies in Brussels, in London, in Paris, in Washington. Right. Somebody may have said, that guy's talking too much. We got to shut him up.

He's, you know, he's in our meetings and we can't do anything about it. What else did this man say? Here is, this is number eight. This was published by the European Conservative April 17, just about a month ago. Slovakian Prime Minister. Ukraine

NATO membership is a danger to Europe. He made it very clear where he stood on that. So, Doc, if Columbo were here and he had to solve this attempted murder,

who would be his first suspects? He would go motive, method, and opportunity. We've got the method and opportunity. That was established today. So, motive. Motive.

So, who had a beef with the prime minister? Who would want the prime minister removed? Who would want the prime minister changed out for someone else, maybe more favorable to someone else? We know it's not Vladimir Putin. Okay? We've eliminated him so somebody in the nato sphere of influence right my my first guess would be the ukrainian gru now the clue that we have on this that this is an operation that's being released on us none of the major news outlets are saying anything about this. I mean, it's not the lead story.

None of them. You mean the assassination attempt? Right. I'm looking at Fox, CNN, MSNBC. I'm looking at all the major news outlets right now. They're covering the Trump trials. Right. Or the debate. The news on the debate. And so that's the big story. This – but I'm telling you, I'm telling our audience, this is a big story. It is. And so, Doc, how many times in the past year have you and I said, when will there be the Archduke Ferdinand moment?

Right. I think it may have happened today. I think it could have as well. I mean, so what is the Archduke Ferdinand moment? Well, back in June 1914, before World War I had started, Europe was entangled with a whole bunch of different treaties with different countries involved. The biggest one was between the treaty that existed between the – not the UK, but England and Russia at the time. And Archduke Ferdinand was at a public event, and there were actually two assassination attempts on him that day. The other one he drove into, his driver drove into, so there's conspiracy theories about that. But that moment of time, Archduke Ferdinand, who

when he was assassinated, that set off a firestorm of treaties being broken and old rivalries coming back to life and everything and basically erupted into World War I. And it was a great war for them. So they weren't numbering them yet. They couldn't imagine a number two. Well, that was the war to end all wars. That's right. There wasn't going to be any more wars. That's what we were told.

That's what the American people were told. This is the war to end all wars. But anyhow, the assassination of Ferdinand basically was the trigger. It's the moment that World War I started that may have happened today. If we find out that Ukraine had the prime minister shot, then there's going to be demands for retaliation. And accountability. So it's a big story today. And it's also going to put Ukraine under the magnifying glass, too, because if it was a

pro-Ukraine person that attacked Robert FICO, then we're going to say, well, you know, was he sponsored by the state of Ukraine? Was he sponsored by Zelensky? Is he just a madman that went crazy over policy? But it's going to put Ukraine back in the spotlight again. Well, another thing that happened today. Yes. This is Newsweek.
