The following program is made possible by the faithful prayers and financial support of listeners just like you.
To find out how you can help, visit nothing but the truth, so help us God.
I think many of you share my thoughts about the bizarre state of the United States of America in 2022.
I simply do not recognize the nation I'm living in these days.
Over 10 years ago, I said that a spirit of insanity was loose in the USA.
Today, that spirit of insanity is dominating tens of millions of people on both sides of the political spectrum. I've concluded that many people on the far right
are just as crazy as many people on the far left. Hardcore atheists and Satanists stand
on the extreme left. Hardcore Christian nationalists and neo-Nazis stand on the extreme right. Both are wrong.
Both are deceived. And both are dangerous to a society. Now, this will be a no news Friday.
Instead, Doc and I will have a frank, honest discussion about what Christians should believe and seek in this age.
Our question today is, are you seeking a Christian nation or Christ's kingdom?
There's a big difference. this topic today because of the reaction to Kanye West's adoration of Adolf Hitler and
Nazism yesterday on the Alex Jones Infowars program. So let's have a discussion about it today.
Doc, I don't want to go into the Kanye West appearance. It was bizarre, weird. It was the weirdest, strangest, craziest thing
I've ever seen on a talk show in my lifetime.
I'm 69.
I've never seen anything that bizarre, that strange.
I don't want to go into it because we're wasting time
showing people acting insane.
Okay?
But here's the scary thing.
Hundreds of thousands of people
were attracted to it
and found it awesome.
That troubles me.
I posted a message on Twitter and Gab
and some other social media platforms,
True Social, Getter, and so forth.
This is what I said.
This is what I placed on Gab.
Watching InfoWars today was like eating lunch in the local mental hospital's cafeteria.
A responsible talk show host would never invite Kanye West onto his show.
A dignified man would have removed Kanye West the moment
he praised Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party.
Doc, in the age I was born
and grew up in, that's quite
moderate, responsible
statement. Right.
But not on Gab.
Not on Gab.
Like you said, you posted this on various social media outlets,
but probably the most profound response was from the folks on Gab. Yeah, so we have, what, about 228,000 followers on Gab.
Right.
About 2,000 people responded to my post.
I did two posts.
I did a follow-up.
But about 2,000 people total responded.
Now, that sounds like a great response there, Rick.
2,000 people respond with comments.
Yes, with comments, yes.
I didn't read every single one,
but I only saw maybe two or three
out of those thousands of posts
that in the weakest way defended me.
The rest of those posts on Gab
absolutely shredded me, vilified me,
used the most vulgar, vile, profane,
disgusting language you can imagine.
So profane, so vulgar
that we can't show it on this program.
But you can show it on Gab.
Right.
You can show it on Gab.
It's okay there.
You can use any kind of language.
Right.
Mind you, this wasn't on Twitter.
This was on the conservative free speech Gab.
And it's supposed to be a Christian nationalist platform.
Right.
They want you to believe it's a Christian nationalist platform,
and yet the language used there is vile and vulgar and profane and disgusting
that would never come out of the mouth of a Christian.
Never would come out of the mouth of a Christian. Never would come out of the mouth of a Christian.
And yet, these people that responded
wanted people to believe that they're Christians.
That's the really sad thing about it.
They're deceived in thinking that they're Christian
while spewing the most profane,
vulgar language you would ever hear.
And out of the 2,000 comments and responses
that you received to the various posts,
I would say 95 plus percent
were in opposition to your statement.
Absolutely.
And maybe three quarters of the comments
had some sort of vile, vicious slur
or statement of some kind.
And they were openly pro-Hitler,
openly pro-Nazi.
Yes.
Doc, I didn't know.
Honestly, this was a wake-up call to me.
I didn't know that there are a substantial number of people in this country who admire Adolf Hitler and Nazism.
I mean, you know, from time to time you see,
you see photographs and stories of skinheads and neo-Nazis
and you think, okay, real, real small minority
of flakes out there.
But what I saw yesterday and this morning on Gab
is not a small group of people.
They're in the thousands.
And that's just the ones who responded,
which means that there's a lot more of them on Gab
who love Hitler,
who think Hitler was the good guy in World War II.
They think that the Nazis were the good guy in World War II.
They think that the Nazis were the good people. And we've been lied to.
I mean, this is really deluded thinking.
And it's scary.
I did not know that this existed.
I live a pretty,
I guess, secluded life. I don't hang around with people like that.
I don't go on social media. Somehow I managed to get this far in life without social media. And that's good, Rick. I think it causes brain rot.
There is a significant presence on some social media platforms of this element,
and it is especially prevalent on Gab.
Now, the philosophy, I guess, of Gab is the doctrine of free speech absolutism,
just anything goes.
All right, well, this is what they define as anything goes.
So we're going to show you some samples.
Now, Rick hasn't seen all these,
and we blur out the language. We blur out the language here, okay? So we're just going to go through a few examples here. These are pretty common, Rick, of some of the... Oh, this is real.
You guys picked out the mild stuff. Oh, it gets hotter here. So here's a couple here. Rick Wallace, you're using the same reasoning the left gave for getting those on the right D platforms.
You are a piece of genitalia.
We'll say that.
Rick Wallace, you claim to be a man of Christ yet the people who have their hand up your,
I'm generously assuming, anointing and working your mouth like a puppet,
think Christ is up to his neck
in feces and boiling in hell.
Educate yourself, Rick.
This just looks pathetic, all right?
This is on the milder end here, okay?
So do a few more here.
Rick Wiles.
Rick, Hitler was a hero.
Rot in hell with your kike friends.
I hope you stub your toe. rick wiles you and your
censorship loving attitude you piece of take your boomer white blank attitude against liberty
and shove it up your i'm sick and tired of you academic elitist trash pretending you hold the
higher ground in this debate when as we who are bringing to the fore the facts for nearly a century have been buried underneath kike hebe propaganda and
histrionics about a holocaust rick wiles blank the blank up you little blank for
you speak for no one you blank coward you notice none of them put their real
name right because who's the coward I I put my name, didn't I?
Right.
But we don't know who they are.
Who's Sneeter the feeder?
What's your real name?
So here's some more examples here.
Rick Wiles, another Christ-cut grifter.
Go suck some more jube, you amoral loser.
Kill yourself.
It goes on there.
Another example here. this is resurrected saint. I wanted
to pick this one out. So this is someone that is out there identifying themselves as a resurrected
saint, as a believer. But the language that they use there, we had to block out. You're obviously
a blank. And in response, a comment to this
particular post here,
Rick Wiles, read the room, Rick. You do
loving blank.
So the words are so vile, we won't even publish
it on our
program. But Gab
will. Right. So
here's where
it started to really go
off the rails for me when I started seeing comments like this.
Rick Wallace, Adolf Hitler reformer,
closer to the Lord Jesus Christ than you'll ever be.
Blank, off blank.
Rick Wallace, okay, pedo Jew.
Rick Wallace, you are a complete blank idiot
in a stooge for the Jew world order, blank.
Now, this was probably, I would say 65 to 75%
of the comments on Gab, on the two posts that you had.
Here is the one, Rick, I think you saw this one maybe.
Rick Wiles, Hitler was the second coming, blank for brains.
Don't be surprised when you enter Heaven that you see Hitler seated with our Lord sitting at the same table.
And so.
That's blasphemous.
You know, that's.
That is blasphemous.
That's the kind of.
Does Gab, does Andrew Torbaugh, the owner of Gab, does he support blasphemy?
Is he okay with that?
I know he's a free speech absolutist,
but does he believe that people on Gab have the right to blaspheme the Lord Jesus Christ?
Well, if you're defining free speech absolutism in the way that I think a lot of people on Gab would, then they would say yes, that's absolutely okay.
But he claims to be a Christian.
And a lot of these would claim to be a Christian.
And I don't see any comments from people, hey, don't use that kind of language.
No.
You know, we don't talk that way.
No, all of them talk that way. No, all of them talk that way.
Yes.
All of them talked with vulgarity.
All of them.
Their mouths are sewer pipes.
Right.
Now, Rick, they might respond with,
well, we're just being naive,
or we're being old-fashioned.
Yes.
Okay, I am old-fashioned.
Yes, I am.
But you are, I am old-fashioned. Yes, I am. This word says you can't have
poison flowing out of the same
spring as clean water. Let no corrupt communication come out of your mouth.
Hey, that says it all, doesn't it? Right.
Don't be a person of perverse lips. Don't be a person of perverse lips.
Yes.
A fool.
A fool is a person of perverse lips.
These people are fools.
If you're going to use that definition, the Bible definition of fools, you've got it right on the head, Rick.
Now, it doesn't sound like we're whining or griping or complaining.
That's not the issue here. The issue is that Rick responded to whatever happened yesterday, that event.
It was crazy in itself.
But to see in a so-called free speech platform the reaction to your comments about this based on just,
hey, Rick's been doing this type of work now
for 20 plus years.
If someone came on set and started talking
in the way that Kanye West did,
he would be shown the door.
There would be those though, Rick,
that would ask the question,
isn't that violating,
wouldn't that be violating his free speech? He can do that free speech in his own house.
Right. This is our place. Simple as that. Right. So you're saying that in some circumstances,
there are limits to free speech. You can't behave
in a way that's offensive
to somebody in their territory,
their jurisdiction.
You can't go into somebody's house.
I mean, if you went to a friend's house
and just started to act
absolutely crazy, saying the most vulgar, profane things, insulting the guest of that home,
would the homeowner have the right to ask you to leave?
Well, of course.
But don't I have free speech rights?
Yes, out on the street.
But not in that domain.
That's right. So, you know, there is an argument.
There is an argument for these platforms that are deplatforming people in the sense that they are private entities.
I would never want to own a social media platform.
That is one business I would never get in.
If I did, it would be closed.
And I mean a closed environment.
It would not be open to the general public.
It would be a closed universe
that only disciples of Christ
would be permitted to be there and they have to act like a disciple of Christ would be permitted to be there
and they have to act like a disciple of Christ.
Right.
I wouldn't tolerate that at all.
You know what bothered me?
Well, two things bothered me.
First of all, the shock of seeing people
defending Adolf Hitler.
Like, where are we?
What planet are we on?
People are this warped now?
They become this cynical
that they actually think that
Hitler was the good guy in World War II?
The Nazis were the good guys?
Adolf Hitler was a homosexual.
The Third Reich were homosexuals. They were into the good guys. Adolf Hitler was a homosexual. The Third Reich were homosexuals.
They were into the occult.
They derived powers from occult.
The swastika was not a German Nazi invention.
They got it from Hinduism.
It's a demon magnet. So everything that Hitler did was anti-Christ. He tried to take over the churches. He tried to implement his own theology in the German churches. There was resistance to them. Those pastors died.
Others went to prison, to concentration camps. Doc, I have in my office files,
I have a, I want to say December, I want to say 1940
magazine. It's one of the prominent news magazines of the time. And I don't remember
if it's Time Magazine or one of the big magazines at that time, but I'm certain it was December of
1940. And the article said that there were over 800,000 Christians in prison in Germany.
This was a news report. Right. I remember you showing me that.
We never talk about this.
No one talks about
the hundreds of thousands of Christians
that Hitler and the Nazis
rounded up and killed.
And a lot,
most of them were Pentecostals.
Yes.
And so that's my spiritual heritage there.
Right.
They perceived Pentecostals as a threat to the Reich. Yes. And so that's my spiritual heritage there.
They perceived Pentecostals as a threat to the Reich.
So there's a, anybody who in the slightest way thinks that Hitler was a Christian, you are seriously deceived.
He was one of the most evil men that ever walked on the earth. The other thing that bothered me is that out of 228,000 people on Gab
who follow True News,
a handful, only a handful,
probably less than six,
put up in even the weakest defense of me.
Where were the rest of my friends?
Where were they? Why didn't they enter in and say, hey, you people, you are attacking a
pastor. You are slandering with vulgar, profane
language a man of God. What is wrong with you?
And you're right, Rick. You could probably count the number
of supporters
and positive comments out of those two posts
on your two hands.
Doc, I'm sure it was that way when you were young.
I grew up in a country, 50s and 60s.
Back then, when a pastor walked into a room,
people stood up.
Yes.
In respect.
Whether you agreed or disagreed with that pastor,
there was still that level of respect. And people cleaned up their language too. That's right. They put out their cigarettes. They stopped cussing. All right. Why? They wanted to show respect to
the church pastor. It wasn't that he was walking in the room, you know, pointing his
finger. No, they just wanted to show respect. What I saw on Gab last night was beyond disrespect. It was hatred. These people would stab you with a knife if they could get
close to you. They're just as crazy as Antifa on the far left. They're crazy. They really are.
They're insane. You have insane people on the far left and you have insane people on the far right.
And it's getting really scary.
The Lord told me, the Holy Spirit told me,
and I've shared this with you years ago.
This would be back, oh, I don't know, 2012,
something like that.
Holy Spirit told me one day,
he said, Rick, there's a day coming in America
that people on the right will be just as dangerous to your life as people on the left.
And I thought that was a strange, unusual word to get from the Lord.
Why would people on the right threaten me?
I mean, I've had death threats for years.
It's always come from the left.
Now I can see death threats will come from the right
because these are the Hitler lover people,
the people that think Nazism is cool,
that think that Hitler was the good guy,
the hero of World War II.
Their minds are so demented, so warped
that attacking you, killing you, doing harm to you would not be an unusual thought to them.
Well, and Rick, you've also talked through the years about the various cycles that we go through in history.
You know, the revolution cycle, the war cycle.
Well, we're obviously in the revolution cycle.
Now, for the past, I would say,
really about the past 10 years,
there's been that uprising on the left.
We see the BLMs that have been organized,
the antifas that have come together.
And now the folks on the right are looking over there
and seeing these tactics work.
They were making headway.
And so now you've got some individuals on the right side of the political spectrum that are now saying, we're going to copy those tactics.
We're going to do what the left did.
I would have this viewpoint on a dock.
The puppet masters
are running both sides.
I agree.
They activated the left.
Now they're activating the right.
It's the same puppet masters.
They're moving us towards a civil war.
So you'll have two super extreme, violent, insane political factions in this country
that you can't reason with them.
You can't reason with the far left.
You can't reason with the far right.
They're both insane.
They've lost their minds.
The puppet masters are moving the country
towards a civil war, a breakdown of society,
because we've lost all civility.
We've lost the ability to talk to each other,
to reason.
Look, you know, people know I am a critic of Zionism.
You've made that pretty clear.
I've made that very clear.
I am a critic of Zionism.
I would say I'm an opponent of Zionism.
I'm not a great admirer of the state of Israel.
But I would never lift my hand to hurt anybody in that movement.
I would never lift my hand to hurt them.
I wage war with my brain and my tongue.
I speak my mind.
But you don't hear me cursing and using profanity. People
that use profanity, they don't know how to express any other view.
Jesus said that
out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
So if your mouth is vulgar, your heart's vulgar.
It's just as simple.
In fact, you're only just getting the tip of the iceberg.
That's you.
If the only thing that comes out of your mouth is the F word and a bunch of sexual words,
that's because you're vulgar.
You're profane.
You, your heart is profane.
That's you.
And you will not enter the kingdom of God. And as you said, Rick,
you've made it very clear that you're opposed to Zionism. But the reason you're opposed to Zionism
is Zionism is preventing the gospel from being preached to the Jews. That's right. It's not like
you're trying to, you know, kill all the Jews. That's not the plan. not like you're trying to kill all the Jews.
That's not the plan.
No, we're trying to save the Jews.
We want the gospel preached to the Jews.
The Zionists and Christian Zionists prevent the gospel from being preached to the Jews.
That's right.
It's a wall to prevent the gospel from reaching Jewish people.
And so we've made it very clear on the program where we stand as it relates to Zionism,
as it relates to these issues.
But there are things that are happening now, especially on the right, where people are clothing themselves in a Christian flag and saying we need a new radical movement.
Well, that's what Judas believed.
Yes.
The reason he betrayed Jesus Christ was because Jesus was not going to be his political conqueror to take down the Roman Empire.
Judas was a zealot.
He was a radical Jewish zealot who wanted, his concept of the kingdom of God was
the Jews taking control of Jerusalem and the reestablishment of the Davidic kingdom.
And he was waiting on a conquering Messiah who would lead a revolt against the Romans.
And when he came to the conclusion Jesus was not going to do it, he betrayed him.
You have people on the religious right that are committed to a political kingdom.
Yes.
And I've been deceived in that area over the years because you can be pulled into thinking,
well, maybe if we get involved in this election,
maybe we can have an influence on the country
and try to, my desire has always been,
let's bring the country back to being Christ-centered.
And we get pulled into that mindset
that maybe if we get involved in the elections,
we can stop some of the wickedness that's taking place.
But you know what?
That is a deceptive,
that is a deceptive belief that we can change the society through politics.
I'm not against being in politics.
And you're certainly not against elections.
I'm not against elections.
Free and fair elections.
Free and fair.
But they're at the bottom of the priority list.
Right. but they're at the bottom of the priority list.
The number one thing that we're supposed to do is seek first the kingdom of God.
Yes.
And that means changing men's hearts.
Yes.
Not their votes.
That's right.
So the question of Christian nationalism
and is America a Christian nation?
Well, not right now.
Was it ever a Christian nation? Well, not right now. Was it ever a Christian nation?
Not in the sense of politically, legally, it was never a Christian nation and it should not have
ever been a religious nation. Where do you see that? Roman Catholicism. You see it in old Europe and in Latin America
where the Roman Catholic Church had control of the government.
It's always a disaster.
Wherever religious groups have had control of the government,
it's always a disaster.
And that came right from Romanism itself.
Yes.
Through the various centuries,
mixing religion and government at that level. Now,
the founding fathers sought to separate that. And we can have our discussion on the founding
fathers on another day. But the fact of the matter is there was something different about this nation
when it was founded. And that was that there was an overwhelming influence of Christianity. People came to the new world
in order to express their religious beliefs.
You had the Puritans, the Pilgrims, the Quakers.
There was a general sense that God had brought people here
for a specific purpose,
and there was a Christian culture that was embedded.
It wasn't perfect.
There were things that were going on
that had to be corrected.
But there was a general soaking, if you will,
of Christianity throughout most of the culture.
Yes.
Because a majority of the people in America
had been exposed to the gospel.
Right. And so it been exposed to the gospel. Right.
And so it filtered down into the government.
Where we're at today is
most of the people in America
have rejected the gospel,
including the ones who claim to be Christians.
Right.
It's just a cultural Christianity. What religion are you? I'm Christian. Okay.
Well, are you a disciple of Jesus Christ? Are you committed to him? Have you bowed your knees to him?
Are you seeking his kingdom with all of your heart? Is the kingdom of God in you? That's what makes a Christian,
your submission to the king.
And there's not a lot of people in this country
who are submitted to the Lord Jesus Christ as a king.
Yes.
That's the problem.
Jesus said that we are the salt of the earth Jesus said we are the
salt of the earth
the light of the world
he didn't say
we are the salt of the world
and the light of the earth
he said we are the salt of the earth
the light of the world
and there's a reason for that
the earth represents
the people humans are of the earth. We're made of dirt and water, holds back corruption.
Salt never makes anything pure.
It just halts corruption.
Yes.
You can put salt on rotted meat all day long
and it's never going to stop being rotted.
Once it's rotted, it's rotted.
But you can salt meat and prevent rot first.
Prevent the decay.
Yes.
So the salt is meant to prevent the decay.
We are the salt of the earth.
We are meant to prevent the decay of the human race.
All right.
So we talked about that.
What about the light of the world?
We're the light of the world.
The world is the world system.
We are the light in the world. The world is the world system. We are the light
in the world. The world is
dark. We're the only light
that the world has. It doesn't mean
we necessarily participate in the world system,
but we shine light on it. But we light it up.
How?
Being a disciple of Christ.
That's a great
explanation, Rick.
Christ-likeness. being a disciple of Christ,
is never about doing.
It's always about being.
That's right.
It's about being.
The Beatitudes, all right?
It's blessed are
it's about you being
blessed is happy
happy are you
when you do this
blessed happy are you
when you are this way
but the happiness doesn't come from doing it
it comes from being
from the being part of it
being a disciple of God
a child of God a disciple of God, a child of God,
a disciple of Jesus Christ.
The kingdom of God is within us.
We have a lot of people claiming to be Christians,
but they're not in the kingdom.
How do I know they're not in the kingdom?
They're not submitted to the king.
They don't obey the king.
If you don't obey the king, you're not in the kingdom. You're not submitted to the king. They don't obey the king. If you don't obey the king,
you're not in the kingdom. You're an imposter. There's a lot of people on the right now that throw around the term Christ is king. I see that quite a bit. But really-
They want a political king. That's right.
They tried to make Donald Trump a Christian king. And Mr. Trump has many very admirable attributes,
but he also has some lack of character that holds him back.
He's still a very vulgar, foul-mouthed person to this day.
If the quotes that you see that are attributed to him are accurate,
he's still a very foul-mouthed person.
He hasn't submitted to Christ.
He has not submitted.
But that's another topic, okay?
We're each responsible to be submitted to the king.
I'm not responsible for you, Doug. And you're not responsible for me.
Each of us have to submit to the king. And on judgment day, we will be held accountable
for our own actions, our being, the way we lived on this earth.
And I'm becoming very weary of all this stuff.
I guess we're in our 25th year of broadcasting.
I'm getting weary of the confrontation and the anger.
I asked the Lord the other day, I said, where are all the happy people?
That's a great question.
Where are they?
Where are all the happy people?
Where have they gone?
Where are the happy people gone?
I remembered Dima Shakarian's book in the 60s, The Happiest People on Earth.
Where are they now? That was a book about Christians,
the happiest people on the earth. Christians aren't the happiest people
in America now. They're grumpy and mad
and mean. Well, are they Christian?
Because the joy of the Lord is my
strength.
And so I'm getting weary of all this stuff.
I'm starting to think that the discussion of politics and world affairs is actually hindering me
from teaching the kingdom of God,
from reaching people with the gospel.
There are people that need to be saved
and I don't want my political views
to hinder me from reaching them with the gospel.
And I'm really rethinking
how we're going to do this in 2023.
And I'm thinking about just how to close,
just how to close,
just how to close the gate.
And you know, we talk to hundreds of thousands
of people every day, but most of them don't like me.
I mean, I can tell that by just looking at Gab.
These are people that subscribed to True News on Gab,
but they hate me. that subscribed to True News on Gab,
but they hate me.
I've had to deal with that for years.
People that come, I mean,
it's really weird.
And I'm really thinking about how do I close the gate
and just minister to the people who want me to teach them about the kingdom of God.
And if our size goes down, so be it.
What does it matter, Doc?
If you and I are only talking to a very select group of people every day because they want to be discipled.
They want to know the ways of our King.
What does it matter if it's a small group?
If God sustains the ministry and we're able to continue
and the rest of these people just go away
because I don't think you can reach them.
These people that we're posting, I don't think you can reach them. These people that we're posting,
I don't think they're reachable.
No, I know God can get to anybody,
but you have to participate.
You have to participate with God,
with the Holy Spirit.
And these people are so hardened.
They're bordering on reprobates.
So I don't want to butt heads with them.
I don't want to be clashing with them.
We're so close to the end of time.
The only thing I want to do
is bring people into the kingdom
and disciple them. And if they don to do is bring people into the kingdom and disciple them.
And if they don't want to be brought into the kingdom, I don't want anything to do with them.
Just go on your way. I have a limited number of days left in my life. I don't want to waste it arguing with people. Christ is coming. And it's really,
the country, the world is so bizarre right now. The things that are going on are so strange,
so weird and bizarre. I just think it's time for the real church to come inside.
Come inside and lock the doors.
Let's be happy.
Let's be happy.
Maybe we've got to go back into the catacombs.
Because the Christians who were in the catacombs were happy.
It's time to go back to where we have the joy of the Lord,
where we're singing.
When's the last time you sang to the Lord with all of your heart?
When's the last time?
Now, we're not talking about worship.
I'm talking about just singing to the Lord.
Singing to the Lord.
When's the last time you've done it?
When's the last time you just walked around in your house
with your hands lifted up,
just worshiping the Lord?
I bet for a lot of people it's been a while.
Yeah, well, there's something wrong.
Okay.
And it's me too, okay, because I'm asking myself.
We're getting so burdened down with the weight of this world
that we're not lifting our hands up to praise God.
And our countenance is being pulled down.
You know, it's time to get off social media. Social media is unsociable.
You're right about that. I do not like social media.
Gab is a perfect example. Gab was supposed to be the answer to Facebook and Twitter,
but it's just as unsociable. It's just as bad.
It's made people nasty and mean.
I personally think it ought to be a law. If you're going to be online,
you've got to put your real name.
Oh man, that would change a lot of online posts.
Yeah, because it's easy to sit behind a mask.
Oh yeah.
And call somebody a coward,
and you have a fake name.
No, they ought to be identified.
And they wouldn't be that,
people would never say those things
if you knew their name and where they lived.
Never, they would never say it.
First of all, they wouldn't want their employer
to ever see that they talk that way.
Or their mothers.
Or their mothers.
All right.
One thing, I don't want to go into a lot of detail about this.
I saw this article today from Religion News.
Yay, is it yay, ye, whatever he goes by.
Kanye West.
Kanye.
That's his name at birth, Kanye West.
Yeah, Kanye West.
Trump dinner is a high point for Catholic nationalist influence campaign.
It's a very interesting news article.
And it was my belief weeks ago, whenever this happened, one or two weeks ago, Mr. Trump's dinner, I immediately, Doc, the moment I heard about it, the very first thought was, Mr. Trump, you were set up.
You were sabotaged.
And you fell for it.
You walked right into the trap and they got you.
Why?
Because Mr. Trump is,
he loves being around celebrities.
He loves that atmosphere.
Because he's a celebrity
and he wants to be around other celebrities.
He fell for it.
He took the bait.
But it was deliberate.
And all I will say is Jesuit saboteurs.
That's it.
Jesuit saboteurs.
That was not a Jewish operation.
That was a Catholic Jesuit operation.
I'm going to leave it at that.
Okay?
I brought out a quote from President John Adams.
He was our first vice president
and our second president.
And when the Constitutional Convention was over,
he said,
our Constitution was made
only for a moral and religious people.
It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
Meaning, our rights, the right of free speech,
the right to bear arms.
Freedom of religion. Freedom of religion, freedom of press, all these rights are only for a religious and moral people.
And if they cease to be moral and religious, these rights will not work.
So you want to talk about free speech, free speech for a religious moral
people. What does that look like? Well, it's not profane vulgar language, is it? Right. It's not
calling for the death of people. It's not calling for their destruction. It's not
insulting people because moral religious people don't talk that way.
The right to bear arms.
Moral religious people with a firearm don't murder people. Right.
Freedom oppressed. us. Moral religious people don't use the news media to slander people and destroy their reputation
and promote lies and propaganda because they're moral and religious. They can't do it. So John
Adams said, this is only going to work if the American people stay moral and religious. Where we're at today,
we're immoral and non-religious. And so the constitution is collapsing.
The only way to restore our constitutional rights is to become a moral religious people again.
You got it. It's just that simple. And to become a moral, religious people,
we have to be discipled in the kingdom of God.
Not in Buddhism, not in Hinduism, not in Judaism.
And not in Christian nationalism.
Not in Christian nationalism.
In the principles of the kingdom of God.
And that is a transformation of men's hearts. That's right. And men's minds. Through the preaching of the kingdom of God. And that is a transformation of men's hearts.
That's right.
And men's minds
through the preaching of the word of God.
It's the gospel,
preaching of the gospel that makes the change.
But is the gospel being preached today?
Can you name one gospel preacher out there right now?
Not a Christian teacher,
but a gospel preacher.
Can you name one?
I can think of just a handful that I would
say are preaching the gospel. Gospel preaching will change men's
hearts. Gospel preaching will change men's minds. Gospel
preaching will change nations if it's allowed
unrestrained gospel preaching. That's right. It'll change things.
But what's been restrained here is,
especially here in the Western nations,
particularly the U.S.,
we don't want the gospel.
We really don't want the gospel
because the gospel will require transformation.
That's right.
And submission.
Right.
Romans chapter 12, first few verses,
say that we have to be transformed.
We have to allow ourselves to become living sacrifices,
holy and acceptable to God.
The problem with a living sacrifice, Rick,
is it has a tendency to crawl off the altar.
Okay.
It also requires us to be holy and acceptable to God.
We don't want that part.
Without holiness, you cannot see God.
That's right.
There's something else that these people in Gab,
you need to understand that.
Without holiness, you will not see God.
And you can't be a vulgar, foul-mouthed person and be holy because holy is to be set apart for the glory of God. Set apart in your lifestyle,
set apart in your conversation, the words that you speak. Would you use that language in the
presence of Jesus Christ if he were in the room? That's the question you should ask.
Because he is in the room. He is in the room.
And he hears all of it.
And it's all being recorded for Judgment Day.
Hey, I'm going to take a little break.
And I want to turn our attention to something more uplifting and inspiring. Nearly eight years ago,
I hired a very talented young man
to help us with our new Prazer music project
that at that time was still
basically just a dream in my head.
His name is Mike Rathke.
Many of you know him as the worship leader
in our new Zion church service.
And I have always been a big supporter of Mike's ministry of music. And I have always encouraged
him to step out in faith and develop a full-time music ministry career. Now, it's always difficult to see members of our team leave our organization.
And I tell our team members that life is a series of seasons. Seasons change. Seasons come and go.
Life changes too. Well, Mike has finally made the decision to launch a full-time music ministry. And I am fully, 100% supporting him.
The first big thing Mike is doing
in his new music ministry career
is a live stream concert.
It is titled The Harlot and the Bride.
It's an opera.
And it will happen on December 14 at 7.30 p.m. Eastern Time. You can
stream it on veeps.com. Veeps, V-E-E-P-S, veeps.com. And you will be able to restream it for seven days
after the event on Apple TV, Roku, and other devices. Tickets are available on Mike's website.
And Mike will join me shortly after this video
introducing the Harlot and the Bride Opera.
Let's watch it.
If you remember the rock operas from back in the day, it's almost like a musical.
It's almost set up like a musical because this is a concept album that runs through a story.
And so from beginning to end, the band doesn't break the fourth wall. We don't ever talk to the audience because this is more like a format, like a musical.
So there's transition elements that
tell the story that for the song that you're getting ready to hear we play that song that
moves us into the next phase of the story that follows this pastor and his his character arc and
all the way through to the end of his imprisonment and where his story ends up without giving too much away, but I've been calling it a folk opera. No fakes and lies. I told the truth in my time.
Mike's here with me right now.
Hey, Mike.
Hey.
Good to see you, brother.
Good to see you.
Glad to have you here.
You've never been out here, have you?
I never have.
I've been on the other side of the camera, but this is my very first time on this side of it.
Well, you're going to be in front of cameras a lot.
When did you first come here?
It was 2016.
16.
I was thinking it was 15, but it's 16.
Okay. Yeah. Yeah. It was a, and that's a cool story too. Yes, it is. I, I, um, we hadn't, uh,
we had never met, but Mike was a true news fan and he emailed me from time to time over several
years. And, um, and then one day I remember sitting at my home, I want to say it was on a Saturday.
I think it was, yeah.
And we were getting ready to launch
just to get Prazer moving.
And I needed somebody that has some
Christian music experience that would be interested
in working with us.
And I thought, I wonder about that guy.
You were in Oregon at the time.
I said, I wonder about that guy. You were in Oregon at the time.
I said, I wonder about that guy in Oregon that keeps sending me these music videos that he makes.
So I sent you an email saying, Mike, would you be interested in a job?
And tell our audience what you were doing with that email that came through.
It couldn't have been better timing. So I had just finished my undergrad at George Fox and I walked up on the stage, got my diploma and sat down. And then I saw a guy next to me look on his phone to answer a text. I was like,
oh, I better see if anybody's text me. And I look and, oh, I got an email from Rick Wiles and says,
hey, I don't know if you're interested or not, but we have a position open. I, well, that's good
timing. Cause I just grabbed my diploma. I'll be right there. You literally were sitting on the stage
with the diploma in your hand.
Yeah, you literally just grabbed my diploma.
And a job offer from True News came in.
It couldn't have come at a better time.
Amazing.
That's amazing.
Well, Mike's been a blessing here.
Everybody on our team loves him.
And he's not leaving the organization.
He's just leaving the employment of our organization.
And I've been,
Mike, I've been a big fan of your music and I've been encouraging you for quite some time. And I
am so proud of you that you're at this place. Holy Spirit, actually, you know, the Holy Spirit
had actually prepared me, I guess it had been a couple months ago, and the Holy Spirit just said,
one day Mike is going to leave
and I want you to release him and give him your blessings.
And within a couple days, you walked into my office
and said, I need to talk to you.
And I think you were surprised at how positive I
was about it because the Holy Spirit had prepared me for it. Yeah. And it's been, I mean, I tell
people all the time that my time here, I mean, I don't think of you as a boss. I think of you as
like a dad. You and Susan are like spiritual parents to me. And to see the example and the
things that God has brought you guys through and the, just the walk of faith that you guys have had has really given me what I,
I didn't have.
I didn't have that kind of,
you know,
teaching growing up.
And so to see that firsthand is like,
okay,
like I see when you step out in faith,
faith is the economy of the kingdom.
And if you don't have faith,
you have nothing for God to work with.
And I've seen that in your guys' life and it's challenged me.
Have you seen examples of it?
I mean, you've been here.
You've seen us go through fire.
You've seen us where God has provided
at the last minute.
Last minute, yeah.
And so many things have happened.
Yeah.
We're just walking it out here every day.
And it's inspiring.
And honestly, I don't think I had that in me
before I came here. Like I always believed, you know, I was't think I had that in me before I came here.
Like, I always believed, you know, I was a Christian,
but that level of faith is something that God's instilled in me while being in this ministry.
Okay, so we're releasing you out to the world.
You've already started holding small concerts, and you're available now. Yep. To visit churches and to perform your music
in church services and for youth groups.
And you've done a couple,
you've actually done a couple big Christian concerts
while you've worked here for us.
Right, yeah.
Yeah, in 2019, yeah, 2019 was in Grace Fest
in California with Prazer
and then did Creation Fest this last summer.
And that was, I mean, that was an honor.
I mean, we played on the fringe stage
and that morning we played right after the worship set
and everybody that was there for the worship service
hung around and it was interesting
because the song that we did for our opening
matched the sermon that the guy was preaching on,
the pastor was preaching on.
And so I walked up to the microphone.
I said, this is amazing,
but what he's preaching on is what this song's about.
And so I think most people thought
that we were just part of the church service.
But you didn't know each other.
Yeah, we didn't know each other.
The Holy Spirit had directed it.
Yeah.
All right, so let's talk about this opera.
Yeah.
The Harlot and the Bride.
Harlot and the Bride.
This is a musical opera.
Yeah.
I've been calling it a folk opera.
And actually, the idea came from a conversation with you when you talked about the old rock operas, Jesus Christ Superstar.
And I wasn't really familiar with that.
But the idea came as a concept album.
And actually, I probably should go back.
When I was about 16, I was in kind of a concept album. And actually, I probably should go back when I was about 16.
I was in a kind of a difficult situation.
I was kind of a free range kid,
you know, just couch surf through
junior high and high school.
And long story short,
the CPS got a hold of that information
and they didn't like the idea
that I was unsupervised.
And so there was a visit paid to me
and it looked like I was
going to go to foster care. And so I'm 16 years old. Um, it wasn't really walking with the Lord.
I, I, I believe, but I didn't really know anybody that was walking with the Lord. And, um, I remember
I just cried out to the Lord. I said, I said, God saved me from this. I don't want to, I don't want
to be in this situation. And I, and you know, you don't make deals with God. But at that point I was
like, God, if you will get me out of this situation, I will write a song about the return of Jesus.
And I'd never written a song in my life. I hadn't even read the Bible at that point in my life,
but I knew enough that there was a, there was coming a day when Jesus was going to come back.
And long story short, two weeks later, that situation was over and I never heard from CPS
again. And so I thought, well, God, you held up your end of the deal.
I'm going to try to write this song.
And I tried several times and it never came together.
So fast forward, I went to school for ministry,
got saved in 97, went to school for worship.
And then in 2020, when the wheels fell off
of everything in the world and my personal life as well,
I remembered that the Lord,
I remembered that whole situation. And I started on this concept album about a pastor.
And this is kind of a long story. I'll make, I'll give you the nutshell version, but it's a pastor
living under the reign of the antichrist. He, he, he actually fell away from the Lord and ended up
hiding out into the woods up in the Pacific Northwest. And while he's in hiding away from civilization,
this beast system rises up around him.
And he realizes that his former church is facing the struggle alone.
And so he comes back to the Lord and he uses his hideout to hide his church.
And so that's kind of the premise of the whole live stream.
And so each song develops that story a little bit further.
And did you write all the songs?
All of them except for the very last one.
And it's a Keith Green cover, Stay on the Path.
And there's kind of a personal reason why I chose that song.
One, it's administered to me in 2020 when everything was going on.
I'm working on this as a full feature script for grad school
as well.
Um, it's going to be a movie called the Harlot and the Bride.
And so, um, I hadn't done anything with music really the whole year of 2020.
I think I was focusing on school and I, I stepped outside one day after working on my
script and I felt this question just come into my mind from the Lord.
It was just out of the blue.
I wasn't thinking about anything, but this question came to mind.
He said, did you change paths?
And I thought, I don't know.
What do you mean?
Like, no, I'm not changing paths
because I'd been so focused on finishing grad school
and stuff with music, with the pandemic,
everything just kind of was put on hold.
And I was like, well, no,
I don't want that to be the case.
Like, so no, I'm gonna get right on it right now.
And so I wrote the album for The Harlot and the Bride.
And I chose that last song, Stay on the Path,
because Keith Green is one of my heroes.
And that song is about that very thing.
Stay on the path that God puts you on
and don't deviate from it.
Praise God.
One more quick,
because there's a really cool Keith Green story
to your music
we
we sent you up to Nashville
to record and I said
what was that a couple years ago
Mike you need to be in a real
studio in Nashville
with real musicians
let's record your music
Mike's songs are awesome
so I said I'll finance it with real musicians, let's record your music. Mike's songs are awesome.
So I said, look, I'll finance it, okay? And I did this personally, not out of ministry money,
I did it out of my own funds.
I said, I'll pay for the studio, I'll hire musicians,
let's go there and do it.
But tell our audience about the Keith Green connection
to that event.
Yeah, that was this one of those
things that no, no person could, could have planned. You know, we went up there, it was on
July 27th of 2019. And that's important. The date, July 27th, we went up there. Uh, no,
we flew up on the 26th and I woke up on the 27th, rolled over in the hotel and I looked at my phone
and I realized the date it was July 27th. And I was like, oh man, this is, this is the day that I became a Christian.
July 27th, 1997 was the day I became a Christian. And I was like, I was like, God, God's such a
good dad. It was like him saying, Hey, happy birthday. You've always wanted to record in a
real studio. Here's the day of your born again birthday. Go record your birthday. Yeah. Go
record in a studio. And it didn't dawn on me because the busy, the week was so busy. And so I was just like, man, thank you, God,
this is such, you know, this is so great. And so we go into the studio, record all the songs on,
we record the instruments with these fantastic musicians, people that have played with
everybody. I mean, you just name a top artist and they've played with them.
So we record all the music for the first day, record all the music. The second day we come in and do all the vocals
and we did, you know, Brandon, he was like,
no, you have to do, Oh Lord, You're Beautiful.
Like you have to do this song.
And I was like, all right, let's do it.
And so we had time, so we recorded it.
And some friends of True News that live in Nashville,
they came by and we showed them the Keith Green song
and they're like, oh, that's beautiful, you know?
Well, later on that evening, we go back to the hotel
and those friends, they texted us and they said,
you guys, I don't know if you realize this,
but you recorded Oh Lord, You're Beautiful
on the 37th anniversary of Keith Green's passing.
And we're like, that can't be real.
You know, so we looked it up and Googled it on our phone
and we're like, holy smokes, sure enough,
this is, we recorded this.
And it's like, there's no way we could have planned that.
But God has a way of putting his fingerprint on things. And that's, I mean, we recorded this and it's like, we, there's no way we could have planned that, but God has a way of putting his, his fingerprint on things. And that's that,
I mean, we all had chills. Yes. I call it the Jesus, uh, autograph. Yeah. Jesus autograph.
He was there. He arranged it. He signed it and you can't explain it to anybody. No. Well, um,
I believe the Lord's hand is on your mic Mike, and your ministry career is going to take off,
and you're going to bless a lot of people.
You've been a blessing to us working here,
but your gift that God has put in you is your ability to lift people into the presence of the King with music.
And I'm really looking forward
to seeing you grow in this new walk.
The opera coming up is December 14th, right?
Yep, December 14th.
7.30 p.m. Eastern.
Yep.
How much are the tickets?
They're $14.99.
$14.99.
And so they can live stream that at 7.30 Eastern
and then they have seven days after that to watch video on demand.
Yep, they can watch it on demand.
And then they can also purchase it on demand after that if they miss the December 14th.
But on the live stream event, the day of, we'll be in the chat and be able to talk to people that come in and want to watch it. Well, this was a good way for you to bless Mike
and give him a wonderful send-off from this ministry
by subscribing to his event on December 14th
and telling other people about it.
It's a great way to get him off the launch pad
and get his ministry going.
I'm telling you, folks, a year or two from now,
the name Mike Rathke is going to be known all over the country
as a Christian music artist.
He started right here.
We had a hand in it.
We had a blessing to have you here.
But it's time, Mike.
It's time.
You've heard me often in our staff meetings,
I often quote Dr. Edwin Lewis Cole.
And I was a friend of Dr. Cole.
I knew him personally.
And he often said, back then I couldn't understand it.
He always said that your exit determines your entrance.
And I always thought, no, don't you mean your exit determines your entrance. And I always thought, no,
don't you mean your entrance determines your exit?
But no, he said your exit,
how you leave an organization
determines your entrance into the next thing that you do.
And you're exiting here with grace and peace and blessing.
We're all blessing you.
We're speaking blessings on you.
And you're exiting the right way.
And that means your entrance
into the next season of life
is going to be right.
And I'm really looking forward.
I am too.
And I don't even consider it an exit
because I feel like you guys are family.
And you couldn't drag me away
with a, you know. Oh, could you come over tomorrow and mow my lawn? I'd be right there.
Since we're family now. Now we all love Mike. Everybody here loves Mike. I don't know anybody
that doesn't like Mike. And he's not leaving our relationships. He's just leaving the payroll.
And it's been a blessing to have him here.
So sign up for his music opera.
And again, it's MikeRathke.Veeps.
Yep, MikeRathke.Veeps.com.
And there's a link to it also on.
There it is right there.
Yeah, there you go, yep.
MikeRathke.Veeps.com.
And the opera is The Harlot and The Bride. Best wishes.
I'm leaving tomorrow, God willing, for Jordan and will be in Jordan all of next week.
I've been honored with an invitation from King Abdullah to attend a very special event Wednesday night where he's going to
be making an announcement of a major project that is going to be of interest to the entire
Christian world. And I am just honored that the King included me in that special event. And so I'll be flying over tomorrow
and have a full week of meetings in Jordan.
And Mike, here's another thing we're witnessing.
You've watched this happen.
You've heard me say,
the Lord told me to pray for King Abdullah.
Yeah, I remember that.
It was like, what, 2018?
Yeah, I remember that. And when I, what, 2018? Yeah, I remember that.
And when I heard about this event,
it blew my mind.
I mean, how can,
I mean, this is another one
of those Jesus signatures.
Just walking it out.
Yep.
Walking it out in faith.
Love you very much.
Doc will be running the show
from here next week.
I will be calling in
from various locations in Jordan.
God bless.
Have a good weekend.
Spend time with the Lord.
Have a quiet weekend and spend time with him and rest in the Lord.
We love you very much. I was born in a trailer called Nomaha
