This is True News, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us God. Last week was disastrous for Ukraine's comedian President Zelensky. The Russia-Ukraine wars tide turned in favor of the Russians. America's war hawks, however, will not give up. A White House decision was made last Friday to rush long-range attackums to Ukraine to strike Russian targets and infrastructure. Meanwhile, American-made tanks will also arrive in Ukraine soon. It looks like the West is refusing to give up on its insane policy of using Ukraine as a proxy to destroy Russia. Doc Burkhardt and I have the latest in World War III news. There's a lot happening here today.

So let's start with the attack on report. This is a report by Newsweek today. U.S. cluster attack could be on Ukraine's battlefields next week, according to a former White House advisor. We knew that, Doc, last Friday, late Friday, the Biden White House had made the decision to release a certain number of attackam long-range missiles to Ukraine. Yes. Now, today, we're learning they will be there within weeks. Yes. This is a rush order, obviously.

Yes. They are rushing the missiles there because Ukraine is losing the war. People are growing impatient with Zelensky. The Polish government is fed up with him. Things are not looking good. House Speaker McCarthy would not allow Zelensky to address Congress last week. There are other members of the House and the Senate who are starting to ask questions about where is all the money going and why are we sending more. And so they know they, meaning the war hawks in America and the European war hawks,

they know they've got to wrap this thing up fast. They've got to break the back of the Russians. But every time they apply more pressure, they're increasing the likelihood of a direct clash, a military clash between Russia and NATO. That's right. And so then Fox News was also reporting first U.S.-made Abrams tanks will arrive in Ukraine months ahead of schedule. Everything's being expedited. And according to President Zelensky, they're already in Ukraine, the first few Abrams tanks. They've already arrived. All right. So, Doc, you found an article today in various foreign news sources. You can't find it anywhere in the United States. And look, we have no way of vetting these stories.

We're simply telling you what we find. And again, we cannot vet it. We cannot absolutely say this is truthful. But this is a story, what you're seeing right now on the screen. And for those of you listening on radio, the headline is NATO direct involvement, German tank crew eliminated in Ukraine. So the story, as I understand it, Doc, is that the Russians destroyed tanks in Ukraine over the weekend. Yes. And it was discovered that the crews inside the tanks were German, not Ukrainian.

In at least one instance, that's the case. And so I originally saw this article Saturday morning on Rio Navaste, and this is the International Affairs reporting this today, saying that Russian Armed Forces reconnaissance group operating near the front line with the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed a Leopard tank, and this is the story, with a fully German crew consisting of the soldiers of the German Armed Forces. The group commander said that when the Russian team stopped near the meat assault line, that was the term several outlets used, it approached to the burned tank in the hope of taking a POW for interrogation. Russians found out that the tank driver was alive, though badly wounded,

and the other GIs in the tank were killed. While seeing Russian military men, the tank driver started shouting, nicht schießen. In German, that means do not shoot. The legend, the one in charge of the Russian tanks, emphasized that he knows German very well. He confessed that the German driver pronounced several times that he was not a mercenary, but a soldier of the German Bundeswehr, and the entire crew is from the same German military company. While the German serviceman was receiving first aid, he named his brigade and its location in Ukraine. The commander added that wounded German serviceman had lost a lot of blood, and his wound was very serious, and he died not too long after that.

So the commander of the reconnaissance group said he was really surprised that there were actually German soldiers in a German tank. I'm not. I'm not. We've been expecting this for quite some time. You would see American and British and French and German soldiers wearing Ukrainian uniforms on the battlefield. And they are in the form of mercenaries for sure, but to actually have run-of-the-line military men serving in Ukraine and to have the Russians confirm this story. Well, Don, look at the first two stories we talked about. The Atacom long-range

missiles being rushed to Ukraine. They will be there within a week or two. There's been no training. Yes. The U.S. has not trained the Ukrainian military how to operate the Atacoms. Who's going to do it? Americans. Yes. There will be American soldiers with boots on the ground in Ukraine. We know that there's been commandos there for quite some time. There are CIA operatives there. But they're going to have to put American troops on the battlefield to operate these attack tanks to Ukraine without training the Ukrainian soldiers to drive the tanks. Who's going to drive them? And we were told months ago that it would take up to a year or two to produce these Abrams tanks

because of the time of kind of armor shielding that was required for standard Abrams tanks. So I'm wondering now if these Abrams tanks that they're sending aren't discount tanks, you know, that don't have the full shielding on them. Not if American crews are in them. Well, that's true, too. Not if American and German crews are in the tanks. How would Germany and how will NATO respond if the Russians show the corpses of German soldiers? What would be the response? How will they explain it away?

I mean, there's only so long you can say Russian propaganda. But if they have evidence that they killed German soldiers on the battlefield, how will the West respond? Because the public's going to start asking questions. Wait a minute. We're fighting Russia? Our country's fighting Russia? We have troops there? We're really fighting Russia.

Of course we are. It's World War III. The next one, NBC News reporting Russian Black Sea Fleet Commander was killed in the Crimean Missile Strike. Yes. This is a big story. Right. The missile strike that occurred on the Crimean headquarters back on Friday afternoon when we were doing the God cast apparently had significant casualty. The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces said in a post on Telegram, now this according to the Ukrainians, that the commander of the Black Sea Fleet was among 34 officers who

died in the strike on the fleet's headquarters in Sevastopol on Friday. The commander of the fleet is Viktor Sokolov, who we've quoted here on True News, although the Ukrainian statement did not name him directly. Rumors had been circulating among Ukraine watchers all weekend that Sokolov had been killed. Now, Russia's defense ministry has not immediately responded to this accusation, this report. So we don't know if it's truly accurate or not, but that is what NBC is reporting now. If it's true, it's a major kill of a senior Russian naval commander. Imagine if the American commander of our Pacific fleet was killed. Yes. It would be a big deal.

In a strike on the headquarters of the Pacific fleet. You know, last week I said that the war, the tide had changed, and Zelensky and Ukraine was losing. And I said, this could be the beginning of the end of the war unless, I put that caveat there, unless, unless the West does something stupid. They did it. They did it, Doc.

Last Friday, the decision to send the attackams is stupid. This is stupid. We are sending American long range missiles to the Ukrainian Nazis to strike inside Russian territory. That's correct. What do you think the Russians are going to do? What do you think they're going to do? It was an attack. What was used to hit the...

Oh, this one's big. Wow. Zelensky was invited to the Canadian Parliament. And as he was there in the Parliament, the Speaker of the Commons introduced a 98-year-old World War II veteran who was in the gallery of the Canadian Parliament. The members of the Parliament gave this veteran a standing ovation. His name is Yaroslav Honka. Well, it turned out he was a Nazi. A literal Nazi.

A real one. He was really in the SS. He served in the Third Reich SS. And they gave him a standing ovation. He was involved in the killing of many Polish citizens. And thousands of Nazis were relocated into Canada after World War II. Of course, we took in here in a Third Reich military formation accused of war crimes. Says Forward.

This is the Jewish publication Forward. So finally, I'm in agreement with Forward. We are in common agreement that you should not give a standing ovation to a Nazi. The elderly veteran, Yaroslav Honka, was honored during a session in which President Zelensky of Ukraine addressed the lawmakers to thank them for their support since Russia invaded the country. The Speaker of the House of Commons, Anthony Rota, who had compared Zelensky to Churchill, recognized a veteran from the Second World War who fought for the Ukrainian independence against the Russians and continues to support the troops today, even at his age of 98. Yes, a Nazi who opposed the Russians.

That's right. Yes, he worked for Hitler. He was fighting for Hitler against the Russians. That's right. Yes, he worked for Hitler. He was fighting for Hitler against the Russians. Does the Speaker of the Canadian House know that the Russians were our allies in World War II? Does he know that? The Russians were on the side of the Allies fighting the Nazis. And the Russians are still fighting the Nazis. And they the Allies fighting the Nazis. And the Russians are still fighting. And they're still fighting the Nazis.

What has changed? The West has gone Nazi. So the, I want to jump down to number 12. The 1st Ukrainian Division is another name for the 14th Waffen-Grededier Division of the SS. It was a unit which was also called the SS. I think it's Galenj. That's not the way I saw it spelled in Polish newspapers. But that's the name of the unit.

But it was part of the SS. It was, yes. Yes, Galicia, I think, is the name. So, I want to show you the video. This is the 98-year-old Nazi war criminal,

Great to be here. Thank you, Rick. Yes, sir. Well, the question is, are the green globalists getting ready to launch another assault on freedom and liberty? Yeah, they're waging a perpetual assault on freedom and liberty. It just comes in phases and it very much looks like they're ready to renew the COVID front. We see now, and this has already started happening, we're seeing government officials in Canada, United States, Europe saying that it's time to break out your face diapers again. They're coming up with the new and improved booster. And they said, it doesn't matter if you took all your previous 48 boosters or whatever it is, you got to take this one, whether you took those or not. So they're definitely getting ready for this. And, you know, they realized that they had

a successful formula here. I think they woke up a lot of people, so they may not get as much traction this time around with the COVID madness. But you can be sure that there will be more and more health scares, more and more efforts to terrorize the population to submission, whether it be COVID or the next public health emergency of international concern or fakes, as the World Health Organization refers to them. They realize that scaring people into believing that they're going to die unless they give up their freedom is a very, very successful formula. They've been using it for a very long time. We can be sure they will use it again. And it sure looks like they're dusting off the covid thing, which is actually right in line with what the Council on Foreign Relations called for early on in this pandemic or the pandemic, however you want to refer to it. In their journal, Foreign Affairs, they actually talked about the long fight against covid.

And they made clear that they were planning to milk this for years and years. This is going to be a perpetual problem that could be activated and deactivated as appropriate. Elections coming around. We need mail in ballots. All right, break out the COVID hysteria again. So this is not going away, Rick. They're going to come back with it over and over and over again, as long as they think they can milk it. I agree. And the target is freedom and liberty. And the tactics that they use, they'll change. They'll come and go. But the target is freedom and liberty. I want to show you a recent headline. This is CBS News.

This was just published a few days ago. Doctors fear another triple-demic will hit in 2023. Warn that time is now to take preventive steps. And, of course, we know what the preventive steps are in their view. That is run to a clinic and be vaccinated with three vaccines. They want you to get three vaccines. This is a triple-demic. And, you know, this is a sign.

This is an example of the fear porn that they put out. And when you see multiple news agencies using the same headlines, the same words, the same phrases, you know it's coordinated. Alex, you've been in this business a long time. I don't even remember the first year I interviewed you. We both go back a long, long time in doing this. What have you learned about the tactics of the globalists? Well, it's the same tactics that Satan uses. Fear, intimidation, deception, lie. Exactly. The father of lies. Right.

And so that is basically their strategy. That is basically their modus operandi. They rely on ignorance and fear and lies to convince people to do things that they otherwise would not do, like give up their freedom, like shut down their business, like turn against their neighbors who won't put on a face diaper or won't take some experimental mRNA concoction masquerading as a vaccine. So these are the same tactics that they that evildoers have been using from the beginning of time, and that's because they are of their father, the devil. And so when you want to understand the tactics that are being used against us, just go to your Bible. These are not new tactics, and there's very simple remedies to them. First of all, fear not, as the Bible says hundreds and hundreds of times, right? God did not send us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. So first of all, fear not, as the Bible says hundreds and hundreds of times, right? God did not send us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

So first of all, get the fear out. You know, if your TV is telling you that you need to be scared of dying or COVID or global warming or, you know, pick your thing. Just recognize, you know, God's not sending you a spirit of fear. You are to fear the Lord and only the Lord, not Satan, not COVID, not anything else like that. Second of all, don't be ignorant, right? Stop believing the media. Stop listening to the media. If you're listening to the media, you're worse than ignorant. And go find accurate and truthful sources of information. You know, that's basically what I spent my time doing during the pandemic, reaching

out to doctors and scientists and other credible authorities who had something valuable, useful, and true to say, and then doing my best to get that in front of the public in spite of the censorship and the big tech efforts to silence us. So don't be ignorant, don't be scared. And then on a broader level, we do have to learn how to say no in a biblical way. We don't want to just willy-nilly defy the government whenever we don't like them or don't feel like obeying. But there is a very clear admonition in Scripture, and this is from beginning to end, you know, Exodus, right? Early on in Exodus, you have the Hebrew midwives telling Pharaoh, no, we're not going to do what you say, in this case, murder the baby boys. And all the way up to Acts 5.29, we have the

apostles and disciples saying, no, we're not going to do that. We're not going to stop preaching in the name of Jesus Christ. It's better to obey God than men, as verse 29 says in Acts chapter 5. And so we as Christians, we need to practice that. We need to practice. Go back to the book of Daniel in chapter 3. Read the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Look, King, our God can protect us from your little fiery furnace. Even if he doesn't protect us from your little fiery furnace, we're still not going to obey. You are still not going to bow down to your ridiculous golden idol. We're not going to put a diaper on our face. We're not going to accept your ridiculous so-called vaccines. And, you know, our God can protect us from you. But even if he doesn't,

we're still not going to do it. And so I think on a broader level, Christians and people with just common sense need to recognize that we need to say no. And the time to start that, you know, it already happened. We're, you know, that's now in the rearview mirror, but better late than never. Start practicing right now as you're watching this program, say no, right? We've got to say no to these totalitarians. There's a line that you don't cross, and they have way overstepped that line. I agree. Do you think, Alex, that they are anticipating that the next move that they make, that there will be a much stronger resistance, and therefore they are also anticipating that their tactics will have to be more draconian. No question about it. No question about it. They realized during the last time around, you know, I think at this point, the majority of Americans recognize we were lied to. And there's even some polling data from the establishment showing that most Americans recognize they were lied to.

I mean, everybody talks to their family and friends, right? Oh, you got the 18 boosters and you still got COVID? I'm pretty sure they told us you weren't going to get COVID. So people realize now we've been lied to. People realize now that we were had. And so they're going to have a much tougher time. And so I think they're going to adjust their strategies somewhat. I think we'll see an accelerated and increased level of fear-mongering from the media from the government etc i think we'll try to we'll see more coercive measures and we'll also see a much more

coordinated global assault right it was already pretty coordinated during the last time around but you did have big variations right the swedes the floridians you know we didn't really participate in the worst excesses of this lunacy. But they are really trying to position the World Health Organization now as the decision-making authority in all matters of health and pandemics and so on. Just last week, they had this big meeting in New York, the UN General Assembly meeting that they do every year. And one of the things they adopted was this political declaration at their high level meeting on pandemics and health emergencies. So they're very clearly now working to globalize public health policy, especially as it relates to pandemics. We know Biden just unveiled the new permanent White House pandemic office.

So the infrastructure that they created and unveiled during the first round of this madness is still there. It's been expanded upon. It's been built upon. And so I think we need to expect that they will use several different angles now to try to override state and local officials who are not willing to participate, to try to scare people who otherwise would not be scared. And so, you know, we need to be ready. If you thought the last one was hard to resist, the next one may be harder to resist, but we need to be even more determined to resist the evil. Alex, two of the projects that they have underway on a global scale, number one, you mentioned the World Health Organization. And so the WHO is working on a global pandemic treaty. Days ago, they said that it would be presented to nations in May 2024.

And, you know, obviously this treaty is going to give the WHO worldwide powers to declare a global pandemic and nations that sign on to the treaty will be obligated to implement the terms of the treaty or whatever the WHO dictates. So the WHO will become a global department of health. And if you think you had problems with your city or county or state health director during COVID, just wait until you're talking about a global health director. The second thing is they are pushing forward on the global travel passports that you will be required to have vaccination records to get a visa to get on a plane internationally. And the Biden administration is is leading the way on this project. Let's start with the WHO and their global pandemic treaty. What do you know about it and what are you anticipating? Yeah, I've been following this very closely from the start.

In fact, I've been exposing the World Health Organization my entire career in journalism going back 12 years, 13 years now, they are very much positioning it as the kind of the global Department of Health and Human Services, CDC and FDA all rolled into one. If they recommend or demand that you take some shot, they want you to take it. If they approve it as healthy and safe, they want everybody in the world to assume that it's healthy and safe. And if you read these documents that have come out already, they're very, very clearly positioning the WHO as the decision-making power when it comes to declaring health emergencies, declaring what measures are necessary to combat those health emergencies, whether it be a pandemic or something else. And this extends far beyond just viruses and infections. I mean, they're talking about mental health. They want a global mental health regime where they will essentially define anyone who resists their

insanity, anyone who is a Christian, anyone who believes in national sovereignty, anyone who doesn't believe that a communist terrorist running the WHO, literally, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, before running the WHO, was on the politburo of a mass-murdering ethno-Marxist terrorist organization in Ethiopia called the Tigray People's Liberation Front. If you don't want to take your health orders from him, you probably have some sort of mental problem, and that's going to have to be treated. And we even saw this recently in the United States, where they tried to force Dr. Merrill Mass to submit to a forced psychiatric evaluation because she told people they were lying and

you probably ought not take these injections, maybe take ivermectin. We're going to see a whole lot more of this coming out of the WHO. We're also seeing the infrastructure put in place to redistribute health resources. That's one of the big things that just came out of the UN General Assembly declaration. They want health equity with One Health, meaning that everybody in the world and all animals, incidentally, a majority of the people on their One Health committee are actually veterinarians, not human doctors. So they believe that all health issues on the planet are interrelated. So this goes way beyond just COVID.

The purpose is tyranny. Lenin is reported to have said it, whether he did or not, I can't be sure. But he's widely reported to have said that government control of health care was the keystone of socialism. And if you think about it, that's one thing that healthcare was the keystone of socialism. And if you think about it, that's one thing that everybody on the planet has in common. Everybody is eventually going to intersect with the healthcare system, whether it's a kid breaking his arm on the football field or an adult getting permanent health problems from the garbage diet that we eat for following US government recommendations. We're all eventually going to intersect with the

healthcare system. It's a perfect control all eventually going to intersect with the health care system. It's a perfect control mechanism. And once you have the government taking over responsibility over health, and you see this in a lot of the bloated Western European welfare states, well, you know, taxpayers are paying your medical bills. So, you know, you can't choose what you want to eat. You can't just be free to make your own kind of decisions. I mean, we got to worry about public health here because the public is paying for it. So the WHO is right at the center of the agenda for globalism, for global governance.

And then you mentioned the digital health passports. They've already agreed to this stuff, right? The G20 late last year, they met in Indonesia. All the G20 powers agreed in their final declaration that we needed global digital health passports and certificates that would be rolled into the next WHO updates, the pandemic treaty, and also the amendments to the international health regulations. And look at the stuff they were doing before they granted themselves all these new powers. I mean, they would quarantine whole villages, whole countries. And what they did in Sierra Leone was appalling. They had international troops basically surround whole areas where they didn't want people to escape

under the guise of protecting people from public health emergencies. That's the kind of stuff we can expect to see if these people get their way. They don't want you to be able to buy or sell or travel or interact with society at all if you won't participate in the global health, digital IDs and vaccine passports. They've officially partnered with the EU on this.

You know, Rick, as well, that they've been exploring these digital health and vaccine passports long before anybody ever heard of a COVID. So COVID was just the pretext to bring these in. But once you combine that with the social. Excuse me. Are you when you mentioned about how long they've been doing it, are you aware that at the very beginning of the WHO? I don't know which decade that was, 30s, the 40s, the 20s. There was air travel at the original WHO attempted to establish a vaccine passport at its origin decades ago. They've always been working on this. Yep. And it's a control mechanism.

It's not because they're worried about your health. The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution. So when they talk about climate change or racial equity or health and vaccine, that's not really the issue. The issue is the control grade that they want to inject you with whatever they feel like it, whenever they feel like it. You know, once you get into the mRNA technologies, the gene modification, the CRISPR, you realize this is just straight out of the pit of hell. I mean, God wrote my genetic instructions. I am not interested in any man-made genetic code being injected into my body that's going to hijack the protein-making machinery of my cells and mass-produce toxic spike proteins or whatever else Bill Gates and the clown car think my cells ought to be manufacturing.

But the vaccine passport, people need to understand, is a critical component of the prison planet system that they are building right now. And they will build on top of that. So if you want to use your CBDCs, you're going to have to comply on the vaccine passport. If you want to be able to buy or sell, your social credit score information will be rolled in there. Are you one of those people who ask questions? Are you one of those people who goes to a conservative church and tithes at a conservative church? All these things will factor in. And clearly, this is satanic. Alex, Dr. Malone was here on True News last week, and he's a changed man from where he was two, three years ago at the beginning of the pandemic. I mean, this is the man, this is the inventor of the mRNA vaccine technology. And, you know, they have destroyed his name, his reputation,

his scientific peers have abandoned him. The man has really been vilified. And yet he's the inventor of the technology. But he is now talking. He surprised me in the interview towards the end of the program. He quoted scripture. And the entire interview took a different turn. And he openly is saying that what we are battling is evil. He recognizes it as evil. And this is not about politics. It's about righteousness and evil. And I think a growing number of people are becoming aware, people that previously never gave a lot of thought to spiritual issues, but it's so far out in the open right now that you really have to work hard to deny it. Are you sensing that among people? No question about it, Rick,

and that's exactly what we've been seeing. And this process has been accelerating. More and more people who tried their best to not believe it are now realizing this is actually evil that we're confronting here. You know, as Christians, we know this. This is all in our Bibles. The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians chapter 6, the church at Ephesus, we're not fighting as flesh and blood here. Yeah, there's a lot of bad guys, Bill Gates, George Soros, you know, Michael Bloomberg, all these clowns. But ultimately, this is about the powers, the principalities, the spiritual darkness, the rulers in high places, the wickedness in high places. This is a spiritual battle. And a lot of people are starting to

realize this is evil, and I believe that is eventually going to help them. God can use that to bring them to a saving faith. But step one is to realize these aren't just well-meaning people with bad policy ideas. These aren't just idiots who are too stupid to understand what they're doing. This is evil. And I've been very pleased to see more and more prominent people recognizing this. And that's an important first step, recognizing that you're, you know, you can't explain to somebody why their ideas are less reliable than yours if they're actually evil and they're consciously doing evil, right? You're not going to reason them out of their position by presenting more facts and figures and saying, you know, the health benefits of the vaccine are less important or less pronounced than the potential. They didn't reason themselves into

this position. So once you recognize it's evil, that's when you truly understand what's going on. And a lot more people are coming to that conclusion now. Praise the Lord. One last question before I let you go. On a personal level, have you adjusted your own preparations, your plans, your attitude, how you family and yourself spiritually and physically prepared for the long haul? Great question, Rick. And, yeah, I mean, a lot of the things that I emphasize more and more were things that we've been doing for a long time. And I tell parents, for example, especially Christians, you've got to get your children out of the regime's indoctrination centers. I mean, they are not just godless, they are waging war on God. How can you send your children there? And of course, that's an important vector of control. That's where they're forcing you to get all the shots. That's where they're

gathering all the data on your children. That's where they're warping their minds into hating their families, their country, their community, their church, and ultimately their God. We've got to get our children out. And if COVID didn't show you that, I don't know what will at this point. I have adjusted slightly my medical preparations. Obviously, I have acquired larger stockpiles of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and certain other substances and medicines that may be useful, depending on what comes at us. And I do also think that right now is the time for Christians to be preparing their children for possible persecution.

And again, I don't want to sound alarmist. I'm certainly not trying to scare anybody. But we're now looking at a time in American history that's unprecedented, where we may actually start seeing real persecution of Christians, of Christian families, of Christian churches. And, you know, some people look at me like I have three heads. I said, you know, I read Fox's Book of Martyrs to my kids. And, you know, some people don't think that's appropriate, I guess, to each parent their own.

I thought it was important for my children to understand that for the last 2000 years of church history, with the temporary exception of America, our brothers and sisters have been ruthlessly persecuted. They're still being ruthlessly persecuted all over the Middle East, all over communist. I mean, huge parts of the world, you can be hauled off to jail. You can lose your children just for the sake of Christ,

just for the sake of clinging to the truth and not being willing to surrender on these critical points. And so I do believe it's important for families, not out of a sense of families, not out of a sense of fear, but out of a sense of obligation, out of a sense of duty to God to prepare our families for whatever may come. You know, maybe, maybe it'll turn around. I don't know. Maybe people will come to their senses and we'll put all these criminals in jail and, you know, go back to

having some semblance of constitutional government in this country, but maybe we won't. And with all that in mind, I do think it would be wise for families to prepare physically, spiritually, morally. And so that's what I'll say on that, Rick. Hey, one last, last question. Do you think it's still possible to have fair national elections in America? And if the answer is yes, what do you believe will happen in 2024? Very good question, Rick. I do not believe we have fair elections in this country. I would like to believe that by 2024, we'll have some additional measures in place. But I also don't want to be naive.

I don't want to be a Pollyanna. So I think we need to operate on the assumption that we're going to continue having fraudulent elections going forward while still working as much as we can to protect and preserve the integrity of the ballot. I would tell people that the establishment, the evildoers, they want us to focus 100% of our attention on the presidential election. The reality is most of us will have exactly zero impact on who is going to be president. Even if we had a legitimate election system, which we don't, the reality is most of us will have exactly zero impact on who is ultimately elected to the White House.

However, that's not true when it comes to who's going to be your local However, that's not true when it comes to who's gonna be your local sheriff. That's not true when it comes to who's gonna be the mayor of your town. It's not true when it comes to who's gonna be on your county commission, who's gonna be your state representative and your state senator.

Those are areas where you can have an enormous impact. A lot of these elections are decided based on a few dozen votes, especially in the primary. You can have an enormous impact on that. Just go to a local conservative meeting. All you might have to do is educate one or 200 people. You might be able to flip a state representative race, a state Senate race. So in those cases, I really, really encourage you to get involved. You know, Rick, you and I are both in the Sunshine State. The two, three years of COVID madness really passed us by. I mean, I'm not going to say everything was

totally normal, but here where I live, we never had one moment of mask mandates. None of our businesses were ever shut down. A couple of the churches shut down voluntarily, but we never had any of those kinds of mandates. Then I would travel to California or New York or Illinois. People are locked in their basements with five masks on. You couldn't go out. It's just crazy. So what happens at the state and local level makes a huge difference. They don't rig and they can't rig every single little election. I mean, they can't keep track of, you know, who is every candidate running for sheriff, who is every candidate running for local office. So get involved at that level and your state, your county and your city officials can and must protect you from whatever lawlessness is coming out of the White House in Washington, D.C.

And so I would say that is a good area to focus on. And you can have a big impact there. Yes. And I would encourage conservatives to run for office. Yes. Particularly school board seats. Here in Indian River County, we've got several school board seats that they, it must be changed. They, they permitted the pornographic books to be in the schools. And two or three of those board members are up for election next year. You know, county commissioner, county council, state rep, state senator, sheriff, all these offices. if you have the qualifications to serve in those positions, I believe you have a duty to run in 24. Don't sit back. Get out there and campaign, and you may just win a seat in your local government. And Alex is absolutely right.

The most powerful influence that we can have is on the local level. So invade the local politics. Get involved in local political parties. Show up at events. Meet the candidates. Hold fundraisers in your house, on your property, on your farm, whatever. Get involved. Start going to events as a donor.

The local politicians will pay attention to you. You become a donor, they will pay attention to you. Organize. You know, churches can have political action committees, not inside the church, but outside the church. You can form a Christian political action committee, register it with the proper authorities in your county or state, however it's done, and you can raise money and donate funds to local candidates as a Christian committee. Make endorsements. Get a group of Christians together that represent many churches in your county and make endorsements in the primary, in the general elections. There's a lot of things that you can do. So don't just sit back and let them run away with everything.

But I think you're right, Alex, about the national level. I don't have much confidence that we're going. I mean, look what they're doing to Kennedy and the Democratic Party. I mean, even a Kennedy can't be treated fairly. It's outrageous what they're doing to him. And, you know, so do you think I know I'm asking one more question. How do you how do you rate Donald Trump's prospects of returning to the White House? Well, that's a good question, Rick. You know, I think he really,

I know his advisors are telling him that was what he was supposed to do, where he just threw pro-lifers under the bus just a few days ago and said it was terrible that Florida was protecting unborn babies. You know, they're telling him, his advisors, and I know some of them, they're telling him that that's what you need to do. You've already got the Republican nomination in the bag. Now you've got to focus on the general. You got to come off as moderate. You know, unfortunately, Americans still kind of cling to abortion, even though they don't want to admit it because their sister or their mother or their daughter had an abortion. So I think that was really sad. I think there's a good chance Donald Trump gets back in the White House. And, you know, I think there's several possible explanations for that one, you know,

God may just sovereignly determine that that's who he wants in the White House. But I think from the perspective of the evildoers, there's a good argument to be made that you want to have somebody who represents at least in the public mind, the opposition, the conservative Christian position on key issues to take the blame for whatever collapse they have planning on us. I mean, if we're honest about our country, our country is on the verge of an economic crisis like we've never seen before. We're on the verge of a political crisis like we've never seen before. And who better to blame for all the rest of human history than somebody like Donald Trump, who came in and sounded like a Christian conservative. So, you know, I was pleased with big parts of what he did in his first term.

He was like a wrecking ball to the machine of globalism. Certainly, I had some pretty significant disagreements with him on policy. And, you know, honestly, there's never going to be a politician that we don't disagree with on some things. I think he got duped by some of his advisors the first time around. I do think there's a good chance he gets back in. I do think there's a lot of people who will do anything to stop that, up to and including the possibility of assassination. But ultimately, I do think it's in God's hands. I do believe our nation is under judgment.

And if you look back in the Old Testament, one of the things you see regularly is God sends tyrants to oppress his people when they misbehave, when they kill their babies, when they do things like that. So I don't know what the future holds. But I think there's a real prospect, at least, that Donald Trump ends up in the White House again. All right. Well, let that be the final word. Yes. So this is number 30 new york post fbi sued after allegedly losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in rare coins during a raid so it says two two americans are allegedly are alleging that the fbi lost or stole their property after seizing it through a shady process. The Institute for Justice filed two lawsuits last Friday on behalf of the clients who had property seized from their safety deposit boxes. And in March 2021, FBI raid on U.S. Private Vaults, a Beverly Hills based company. If I recall, we actually covered this story.

Yes, we did, Doc. So the FBI was investigating the company, U.S. Private Vaults. They rented security boxes to people. The FBI seized everything in 1,400 security boxes, lock boxes. They had no suspicion about any of the people using the boxes. Just the company itself. Nobody was charged with a crime. The FBI did not have search warrants for each box.

According to the Constitution, they should have had a search warrant for each of the 1,400 boxes they opened and raided. They kept the stuff. And several of these clients of U.S. Private Vaults took the FBI to court, and after prevailing in court, the FBI agreeing to return their property, both Don Mullane and Jenny Pearsons discovered some of their property was missing and suspect the FBI's haphazard raid or sticky fingers are

to blame. Mullane, a 79-year-old retired civil servant, kept cash and 110 gold coins worth thousands of dollars in his box to safeguard his financial security. He invested in the precious metals with the proceeds after he and his wife sold their Malibu home back in 2002. Now, Pearsons and her husband, Michael Stork, so two different couples here, Rick, and similarly rented a security box deposit box in 2017 as a financial safeguard, storing about 20,000 silver and 2,000 in silver and $2,000 in cash. Neither Mullane nor Pearson were charged with a crime. Now, the FBI had been investigating U.S. private vaults, which shut down following the raid and ultimately pleaded guilty to conspiracy to launder drug money.

After the FBI seized their property, along with 1,400 other customers, Mullane and Pearson received a notice stating the FBI wanted to keep their property along with 1,400 other customers. Mullane and Pearsons received a notice stating the FBI wanted to keep their property through a process known as civil forfeiture. It's just legalized theft. That's exactly what it is. And the FBI is acting like a mafia. Just acting like a mafia. Just acting like a mafia gang. Just raiding places, seizing private property without due process of law, without search warrants and just keeping the stuff.

They wanted to know how healthy or sick their customers were and they actually hired private detectives to do it that's right not now nat west used to be the bank royal bank of scotland nat west hired a private had hired private detectives to look

into the health of borrowers who owed money to his notorious global restructuring group. A tracing agent convicted of illegally obtaining personal information of bank customers has alleged that NatWest instructed him to report on debtors' health conditions. In June, Michael Isaacs was fined and hit with the proceeds of crime confiscation order after he admitted six charges of unlawfully obtaining personal data during his work for Royal Bank of Scotland, now known as NatWest. In an interview with the Times, Isaac claims the bank knew or should have known that he was breaching data protection rules and that he warned regulators that other agents used by the bank may also be breaking the law. The information commissioner's office found that Isaac's had routinely contacted organizations such as utility companies, local city councils and and doctors, GP surgeries, while pretending

to be the the borrower and managing to pass basic security questions. Isaac would then record personal information such as monthly direct debits, bank account details, and outstanding mortgages to build up a profile of the person for the bank's information. The bank was spying on their own customers. Right. What else are banks doing that we don't know about? What is this relationship that they have

with government agencies? What relationship do they have with insurance companies? Look, we need to find out what the globalists are doing. We need to expose them, and we need to set up our own system, an alternative economy. We're going to take a break. We'll start with verses 24-25. On the next day, they entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends. When Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. So we're picking up in this lesson from where we left off last Friday. It is now four days since Cornelius was visited by an angel and told to send men to Joppa to find a man named Simon Peter who was living with a tanner named Simon near the seaside in Joppa. So certainly the two men, Cornelius and Peter, both pondered in their respective minds the unusual manner that God connected them. Both were aware that it was a divinely scheduled meeting,

and neither man knew the purpose or the desired outcome, but both were eager to see it unfold before their eyes. And that's one of the chief reasons why Peter took six men from Joppa with him to Caesarea to be eyewitnesses of whatever was going to happen. Cornelius was eagerly expecting Apostle Peter's arrival at his home. He was excited to know the instruction Peter would give him according to the message from the angel. Remember what the angel said in verse 5 and 6. And now send to Joppa, send men to Joppa and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter. He lodges with one Simon a tanner whose house is by the seaside. He shall tell you what you ought to do. Yes. That's what Cornelius was eager to discover.

And the people who were there with him. So this initial meeting of Cornelius and Peter probably occurred outside the house. Cornelius fell at Peter's feet. It says that he worshipped him. Now, the Greek word that the King James translators interpreted as worship means to prostrate oneself in homage. I don't believe this was a matter of Cornelius worshiping Peter as a god. Cornelius was a devout man who loved the God of Israel. And that means he was delivered from Roman idolatry. And he knew it was wrong to worship anybody or anything as a god.

But it was an extreme form of homage to a man. Cornelius viewed Peter as a holy man, a messenger from heaven, because God sent an angel to him to tell Cornelius to search and bring Peter. So this wasn't divine worship, but civil reverence, extreme respect, as one would bow and pay the highest respect to a queen or king. It's similar

to people kissing the Pope's feet. Right. He fell to the floor in respect to God's ambassador arriving at his home. Verse 26, Peter said, stand up. I myself am also a man. So imagine the scene.

You've got a Roman army officer, a Gentile, lying on the floor prostrate before Peter, a Gentile, lying on the floor, prostrate before Peter, a Jew, showing his most profound reverence for the man of God who traveled from Joppa to deliver a message directly from God.

Again, he wasn't worshiping Peter as a divine being, but honoring him for his role as God's man sent to him. But Peter didn't allow it. Peter stretched out his arm and gripped Cornelius' hand and lifted him up onto his feet. And as he pulled Cornelius up from the floor, Peter said to him, stand up. I myself am also a man. In other words, Cornelius, I'm a guy just like you. There's no need to fall down at my feet.

Just stand up and talk to me. Peter was quick to extinguish any kind of adoration of himself. Peter was a humble man who knew all too well his human weaknesses. After all, he was the man who denied Jesus three times when our Lord was in that sham trial. So Peter knew who he was. Yes. And he wasn't going to allow anyone to to get him puffed up and think that he was somebody special. Peter always wanted to remember that he was the man who denied Christ. He stayed humble. Verse 27. As he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together. As he talked with him.

The Greek word for talked implies a lengthy conversation. Again, this happened outside the house. Yeah, this is just the introductions. Yes. This is out in the courtyard of the home. Luke did not fill in the lines and tell us what Cornelius and Peter said to each other, but no doubt they told each other their amazing stories and how the divine appointment was orchestrated by the Holy Spirit.

Now, whereas Peter and Cornelius met each other outside the house, verse 27 happened inside the home. It says, as he talked with them, as he talked with him, that's outside. He went in and found many gathered together so they're they're talking outside and then as they continue their conversation they begin walking through the door of the house and going inside Cornelius's house, still talking. I think we can confidently assume that Peter was pleasantly surprised to see a house full of guests, relatives, and friends of Cornelius. And Peter instantly knew that he had a ready-made audience to hear the gospel. Yes.

There was only one problem as far as Peter was concerned. He was a Jew. Peter was a Jew, and everybody in the room were Gentiles. So, you know, Peter's thinking in his mind, what is God up to? He's still processing all this stuff why did the Holy Spirit divinely orchestrate this meeting of Cornelius and Peter through a vision and a trance and the assembly of Gentiles where was this meeting going

verse 28 Peter said to them, you yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation. But God has shown me that I shouldn't call any man unholy or unclean. Now, let's carefully look at Peter's statement. He said, you yourselves know it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew like me to join himself with you. Where did Peter find that in the law of Moses? Because God never said it. That's right. That's a tradition of man. God never ordered the Jews to to be separated from Gentiles. Yes. It's the same thing in John chapter 4, verse 9, where Jesus met the woman at the well, and she said, you know, it's not a good thing for Samaritans and Jews to be hanging out together, basically. That's the doc paraphrase. But there was no rule about that. There was no law

about that at all. Not from God. No. it was a traditional man that said we need to be separate. So Peter alluded to the fact that the Gentiles in that room knew that some unidentified Jewish law forbade relationships between Jews and Gentiles. But again, I ask, where did Peter find that law in the law of Moses? God never told Jews that they could not have friendship or relationships with Gentiles. That's right. And it worked the other way too, Rick. That one story that goes along with the story of Cornelius, when I was doing a sermon on it one time, is some suppose that Cornelius helped fund the synagogue in Joppa prior to this. But he couldn't go to the synagogue. He'd have to sit in the back row, and there'd be kind of a barrier that'd be separate from the rest of the congregation in the synagogue.

So Gentiles could attend, but they had to be on the back bench of the synagogue. And there's a separation there, too. Even though tradition has it that he may have actually given the money to build the synagogue. That's right. Excuse me, in Caesarea. That's right. It's really not separation. It's segregation. Yes.

It's racial segregation. So Peter was actually quoting rabbinical Phariseeism. Maimonides, you know, this great Jewish philosopher that a lot of modern day Jews like to quote. He said it was illegal for Jews to mingle with Gentiles. But God never said it right. God told the Hebrews not to intermarry with Gentiles, nor worship their idols, nor bow to them. But God did not say that they couldn't fellowship with Gentiles, that they couldn't eat meals with them, they couldn't invite them to their homes, that they couldn't do business with Gentiles. Such thinking was the beginning of Jewish racial superiority. And if the Jews understood the Messianic prophecies, they would have known that God desired them to take light to Gentile nations and bless them. Right.

The sad truth is that the Jewish rabbis taught and strong Jewish presence, because once there's a foothold, they only promote their fellow tribe members. There's favoritism. And nobody will dare say it. But it does exist. So the Mosaic Law had 613 commandments. In Joshua 23, verse 7, God told Joshua that ye shall come not among these nations, these that remain among you, neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, nor serve them or bow down unto them. Deuteronomy 7 verse 3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them. Thy daughter shall not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

The restrictions that God placed on the Jews regarding Gentiles was about intermarriage and idolatry. And idolatry. He simply said, don't get connected with them through marriage and don't participate in their idolatry. As centuries passed by, various generations of rabbis added to the law of Moses. They added restrictions, regulations, commandments that God never spoke to Moses. So Peter is quoting something that God didn't say. He said to the crowd, everybody here, you know that a guy like me, a Jew, I'm not allowed to be here. But God told me not to call unclean anything that he says is clean. So Peter's processing all this. He's got this religious indoctrination that he grew up with.

And yet he's got this vision that he just had days ago from God telling him, Peter, you're not allowed to call anything unclean. So in the vision, Peter had a problem. Doc, we didn't mention this last week. Unclean animals were mixed in with clean animals. Now, God didn't say in that vision that any of the animals were unclean. According to religious tradition, some of the animals were unclean, some were clean. But according to rabbinical regulations, the clean animals were defiled by contact with unclean animals.

Right. So if Peter, if he stuck with the strict interpretation of rabbinical regulations, he would not have been allowed to eat anything that was in that sheet. That's right. Because they were all contaminated. They were all contaminated according to Jewish regulations, but not according to God.

And this is why, this is why, according to rabbinical regulations, the clean animals were defiled by contact with unclean animals, and that's why Jews demand racial segregation between Jews and Gentiles. The rabbis would not even permit Jews to purchase bread, oil, and other foods from Gentile merchants. According to rabbinical doctrine, Peter would not have been permitted to eat the clean animals because they had contact with the unclean animals. So again, Peter is wrestling with all of these things at the same time

Cornelius is trying to figure out why he received an angelic visit and told him to go get Peter. When Peter said, you yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew

to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn't call any man unholy or unclean. What Peter was saying was, I am going to violate Jewish restrictions that prohibit me from traveling with Gentiles and entering into the house of a Gentile, because I just had a vision where God told me I'm not permitted anymore to call any human being unclean. That's what he's saying. Right. He's saying, I'm is the true vessel that holds all creation.

Think of that sheet as representing Jesus Christ. His incarnation, his virgin birth, his sinless life, his death, burial, resurrection, cleansed creation. And he who by all things was made. It is by Jesus Christ that all things were made. Yes. He proclaims that all things are now. Behold. I make all things new. So it is Jesus who cleansed humanity.

As I said last week, for those animals to come down from heaven in that vision, they had to first go up. Jesus Christ took humanity with him, fallen mankind. He took fallen mankind with him in the ascension and presented his sacrifice to Almighty God and said, I have, my blood has been spilled for these unclean humans. And God declared mankind clean.

That's why when they came down in the vision, there were no unclean animals. Only religious people saw unclean animals. Verse 29. Therefore, I also came without complaint when I was sent for. I asked, therefore, why did you send for me? This phrase, therefore, I also came without complaint. The King James uses the words without gainsaying. Yes, I like that word. It's a word I never use. Gainsay means without exception. It means without hesitation, cheerfully, without making excuses.

Peter didn't answer back with a reason of why he could not go to Caesarea. It means that Peter happily, cheerfully, promptly followed Cornelius' men who came to Joppa looking for him. He didn't gripe and complain about making the trip. He was happy to depart immediately. So he said, therefore, I also came without gainsaying when I was sent for. So Peter's saying, set the record straight here, folks. The moment Cornelius' men showed up, I packed up my suitcase. I was ready to go, and I was happy to do it.

It was a joy to come here. He said, I ask, therefore, why did you send for me? So Peter is turning and looking directly at Cornelius and saying, tell me the purpose of this urgent invitation. Right. And this time Cornelius is explaining in front of everybody, not just his servants and his attache and everything, but to the entire people assembled there, the family members, possibly the troops, and everybody assembled there at the centurion's home. Yes. So it's reasonable to assume that Peter already possessed some understanding of the purpose. I mean, he traveled with the men for several days, at least a day and a half.

He certainly heard the story from them secondhand. First, Peter's still processing in his heart and mind the vision that he experienced on the rooftop in Joppa. And then second, he had a day and a half of travel with Cornelius' servants and his soldier. And Cornelius had told them everything before he sent them to Joppa looking for Peter. Right. You have to assume that those men retold it to Peter as they traveled to Caesarea. Nevertheless, it was necessary for Peter to directly ask Cornelius for his story for the sake of confirmation. Peter needed to hear it directly from Cornelius. We are at our best.

In serving God. When we do these. Three things together. Number one, when we are doing the work the Holy Spirit has assigned to us. Number two, when we are doing the work at the precise time the Holy Spirit told us to do it. Number three, we are doing the work at the right place. And that's what's taking place here in this story. The perfect timing.

And everybody participated with the Holy Spirit. Nobody was cantankerous and difficult for the Holy Spirit. Nobody was cantankerous and difficult for the Holy Spirit. Do you ever think about, do you want to be known in heaven as a cantankerous, stubborn person that the Holy Spirit has to just work with you

to try to get you to do something for Him? I don't want that reputation. I want a reputation in heaven that when the Lord gives Rick Wiles an instruction, he jumps on it and gets it done. Like a chicken on a bug. There you go. That's the way to do it. Verses 30 and 31.

Cornelius said, now he starts his story. He's talking to Peter. See, Cornelius is looking directly at Peter. The audience is in the house. Everyone's waiting to see what is going to happen now. Cornelius starts out, four days ago. You know, I was minding my own business. I was fasting until this hour. Whatever hour that was, this corresponded to the hour that he stopped fasting. And at the ninth hour,

which is 3 p.m. So this meeting taking place in Cornelius' house is before 3 p.m. He says, while I was fasting until this hour, at the ninth hour, and at the ninth hour, I prayed in my house. So when Cornelius began to pray, he had the angelic visitation, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing and said, Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered as a memorial in the sight of God. So again, we're in the fourth day of this entire story. Day one, Cornelius's vision at the ninth hour, 3 p.m., he dispatched three men to Joppa to find Peter. Day two, Peter's vision in Joppa. Cornelius's delegation arrive at Simon the Tanner's house looking for Peter, at the very moment he's just coming out of that trance. Day three, Peter departed with the three men for Caesarea. Day four, Peter and the men

arrived at Cornelius's house in the afternoon. So Cornelius began his firsthand report about what happened to him four days earlier. And he informed Peter that he was fasting and then went into prayer. And it was during prayer that the angelic visitation happened. So the heavenly origin of the vision was affirmed by the activities he was doing at the time right he knew it was of god that he wasn't hallucinating because he was fasting and praying when it happened. He prayed in his house and suddenly there appeared a man in bright clothing. I got a question.

Does God hear the prayers of unsaved people? This is a, what do you think? Jerry Falwell got in trouble once for answering that question. He sure did. Remember that story? Yes. The Bible does say he doesn't listen to the prayers of the wicked. But what about unsaved people?

What about seekers? What about those that are searching for God? What about those that see the evidence of God in the world around them and become aware that there's something else? The Bible says no one comes to the Father unless the Holy Spirit draws them. And so if the Holy Spirit's drawn somebody, then obviously I would think that God would hear the prayers of a seeker or someone that's being drawn.

Yes. John 9, verse 31, Now we know that God heareth not sinners, but if any man be a worshiper of God and doeth his will, him he heareth. Right. Well, how do we explain Cornelius' vision in light of John 9 31? John said God does not hear the prayers of sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he listens

to him. Cornelius was a Roman Gentile without citizenship in the kingdom of Israel, but he was described as a devout man who feared God. Yes. And that his prayers and

gifts to the poor went up to heaven as a memorial. Yes, and the angel confirmed that. So obviously, the Lord heard Cornelius' prayers. So I believe that God heard his prayers because Cornelius' heart hungered to be right with God. And God used that desire as the point of contact between heaven and earth. The Greek word for sinners in John 9.31 means people who fall short of what God approves by a wide mark. That's what's really important here the word sinner in john 9 john 9 31 people who fall short of what god approves they fall short by a wide mark in other words blatant sinners the word actually describes a person who is depraved and detestable. So does God hear the prayers of unsaved people?

Yes, if they are praying in alignment with His will. First and foremost, God's will is for them to be saved. The answer is no if they are asking amiss. The answer is no if they are blatant sinners who do things that are detestable to God. But God's looking at the heart. And when he sees a man or woman that even though they're unsaved, yet they have a desire to do what is right.

He listens to them. If he didn't listen to them, how would they ever be saved? My first prayer, I mean, when I got saved, I wasn't, the words that I spoke before salvation, I said them as a sinner. I said, Lord, make me clean. Well, I wasn't clean when I said the words, but I desired to be clean. And he heard that prayer. So Cornelius was a devout man who feared God. So how else can an unsaved soul be saved if God

doesn't hear their prayers? God always considers the desires and the conditions of a person's heart. And God knew that Cornelius desired to be righteous. Cornelius was fasting and praying. Those are not the activities of blatant sinners. And it requires faith to do those things. Sure does. I mean, and God always responds to faith. I mean, he always responds to faith. If there's anything you can show a pattern on throughout the scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation, is God always responds to faith, to people that believe him. And in order to fast and pray, you have to believe God. Jesus, was it Jairus that Jesus said,

I've not seen faith like this anywhere in Israel. The woman at the well in Samaria, she ran through town, told everybody what, hey, this man knows everything. You got to listen to him. So God's always looking at the condition of the heart. And God met Cornelius in his sincere quest to please his maker in heaven. The angel appeared and spoke to Cornelius, and I believe it happened. Now, personally, Doc, and I'm not going to teach you on this today. I personally believe that it happened at the start of the first day of the week

because it fits a pattern in the early days of the church. And I'm talking about this meeting. I believe this meeting was on the first day of the week. That meeting probably lasted several hours. Because as we're going to learn later it was followed by baptism. They had an agape meal, a love meal. They had a house full of people. That meeting went on for hours.

That would also explain why Peter delayed a day in getting there, too. He didn't travel on the Sabbath. Yes. Right. That's interesting. I never thought about that before. In Acts 10, verse 30, Cornelius gives us an additional piece of information that was not revealed earlier. He said, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing. The Greek word for bright, the shining, is lampros. It means radiant, as in radiant light. It means resplendent, elegant, luxurious, magnificent.

So we can say that angels know how to dress right. Their wardrobes are filled with magnificent, radiant garments. So, before he left heaven, he picked out a really nice outfit revelation 15 verses 5 and 6 this revelation and after that i looked and behold the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was open and the seven angels came out of the temple having having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and bright linen, having their breasts girded with golden girdles. That's the same word, bright. They were clothed with linen that was resplendent, elegant, luxurious, magnificent, radiant. In Revelation 22, 16,

I, Jesus, have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David and the bright and morning star. It's the same word. Verse 32. Therefore send to Joppa and summon Simon, who is also called Peter. He is staying in the house of a tanner named Simon by the seaside. When he comes, he will speak to you. So the angels command to dispatch men to Joppa to fetch a man named Peter, that tested Cornelius' obedience and humility.

Cornelius was a Roman army officer supervising Roman soldiers who were enforcing Rome's rulership over Jews. Yes. In other words, he's the head and the Jews are the tail. He's in charge, not them. I want to say Rome. Rome's in charge

of Palestine at this time. Furthermore, he carried the name of Cornelia one of the most patrician names in Italy today it would be having the name Rockefeller Kennedy

he had a blue blood name. So Peter was not only a Jew, but he was an outcast Jew. Yes. Even the Jews didn't accept Peter. And a Galilean on top of that. And a Galilean, made it even worse. A hillbilly, basically. Yes.

I always jokingly call Peter my redneck Jew. He was on the bottom of Jewish society. And he made his living, or he was living, he didn't make his, he was living in the house of another outcast jew simon who made his living tanning hides which made him an untouchable among his fellow jews right so peter is as down low as you can get on the food chain as far as Cornelius was concerned but he remember he he fell down at him because he he recognized him this man is a an ambassador from heaven an angel an angel told the Roman officer with a famous last name to pull away his servants and one of his soldiers and send them on a mission to retrieve this man named Peter living in the house of a tanner.

On the surface, it sounded foolish. And most Romans would have told Cornelius he needed a vacation because he was hallucinating. The angel commanded Cornelius to send the men to Joppa, but the angel did not compel Cornelius to do it. There's a difference between a command and compelling. When compelled, you have no choice in the matter. When commanded, you have free will to obey or disobey. The angel commanded Cornelius to send men to Joppa. He did not compel him to do it.

Cornelius had free choice to obey or disobey. Angels never force people to do anything. They respect the free will of humans. Verse 33, therefore I sent to you at once and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by God. So Cornelius closed his telling of the vision by saying to Peter and Peter's six companions this is all good for to have all of you here in Caesarea everybody Peter everybody here is in the sight of Almighty God and we desire to hear everything God has commanded you to do and say. Cornelius spiritually perceived that it was God who arranged the double visions and that God was present in that house to observe everything said and done. Their hearts and minds were open and eager to hear what God desired them to do.

I got two closing thoughts. First, the parable of the sower comes to mind when I think about Cornelius. The soil of his heart was good ground. It was not stony or hard. He was a seeker. When Peter arrived, the soil of Cornelius' heart was prepared and ready to receive the seed sowed by Peter. The reason why many Bible teachers feel frustrated and unfulfilled is not because they are not good teachers. It is because too many modern day hearers are not seeking the seed.

Yes. That is frustrating. It is. That's why Morning Man is such a pleasure to Doc and me, because we have people showing up five days a week for an hour, and they want to be taught. Right. So there's no labor in this work. It's work, but it's not labor. There you go. It's labor when the audience doesn't want to hear. The Bible teacher's labor seems to be in vain because people have an unexpecting attitude toward the word of God.

They are not looking for God's truth. Therefore, the seeds are eaten by birds, and the birds represent the works of the enemy. The second thought is it's probable that Philip the Evangelist was living in Caesarea at the time Peter visited the city. Philip later became the bishop of Caesarea. So why did God not send Philip to Cornelius' house to explain the vision and baptize him? I mean, he was right there in the same city. Why did God send for Peter way down there up north in Joppa? I mean, you would think it would make more sense to just go down on the other side of the city here and get Philip.

He'll tell you what's going on. Well, you know, there's that political phrase, Rick, only Nixon could go to China. Yes. And you're on to a dog why did god not send philip to cornelius's house to explain the vision and baptize him it's for the same reason that the apostles had to send peter and james to samaria to inspect the work of the holy spirit among the samaritans. The Samaritans were not Gentiles. They were Israelites who broke away from the United Kingdom of Israel centuries earlier, which included Judea, the home of the Jews. The events in Samaria required an apostle to confirm it.

Likewise, the introduction of the first Gentiles into the all-Jewish Christian church was such a massive change and expansion of the church that it required an apostle to conduct it and sanction it with apostolic authority. And for added emphasis, the Holy Spirit confirmed it with double visions. So that is my lesson for today. And we will pick up tomorrow at verse 34. How long have we been in chapter 10? It seems like a couple weeks.

At least a week, week and a half. So we've had 15 countries that joined us today. And we appreciate each and every one of you for checking in with us.
