I'm Doc Burkhart filling in for True News founder and host Rick Wiles.
Rick is away for a few days and we kindly
ask for your prayers as he and his wife Susan are traveling. On today's Godcast, we'll dive deep
into the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and explore how these advances
will reshape the world of tomorrow. But first, we need to look at what's happening in World War III,
starting with this update from the Times of Israel regarding the latest escalation
in that conflict there, as you see the title.
The IDF says it launched over 300 strikes on infrastructure Hezbollah has built up for
years, and all these strikes are in Lebanon.
And this is in response to rocket attacks from Hezbollah from Lebanon into Israel over
the weekend.
The Israel Defense Forces on Monday said it launched widespread waves of airstrikes,
and you see in some video there, against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon,
as it warned civilians to swiftly move away from homes used by the Iran-backed terror group to store weapons.
Now, the military said it had identified Hezbollah operatives preparing to carry out rocket attacks on Israel.
Later in the day, Hezbollah fired some 35 rockets at northern Israel.
Lebanon's health ministry said at least 100 people were killed and more than 400 injured.
The figures did not differentiate between members of the terror group and civilians. Well, I'm telling you right now, the majority were likely civilians because
that's been the modus operandi
for IDF in
Gaza and the West Bank, so why
would it be any different in Lebanon?
And so, we're going to see
a continued escalation in this
conflict as the week goes by
because it's likely that Hezbollah
will have some kind of response
to the Pager attack from last week.
We're yet to see the full extent of that.
But True News will be keeping an eye on this story as it continues to develop in the Middle East.
One story you may have seen on social media over the weekend that is really taking a shock to a lot of people is this story.
This is from RT.
German police chase terrified child
carrying a Palestinian flag. Now, I don't know if you've seen this particular video or not, but
in Germany, the one country that should not be acting like Nazis, they are acting like Nazis.
Let's watch this video of the German police chasing down a 10-year-old Palestinian child with a flag.

Now, the reason why he was being chased is because if you display a Palestinian flag in Germany, that's considered anti-Semitism.
Rick Walls had something to say about this on social media over the weekend.
He said this about that particular video.
No matter how hard they try not to do it, the German government keeps acting like a Nazi regime.
The more Western leaders suppress support for Palestine, the more obvious it becomes that Zionists are their puppet masters.
Liberate the world from Zionism.
Well said, Mr. Wiles.
Give you the latest update here in the Trump assassination
plot part two. This is from CNN. The man suspected of the assassination attempt against Donald Trump
left a letter detailing his plans, prosecutors say. The man who sat in a tree line outside of Trump's West Palm Golf Course was actually brought to court today to actually be formally charged with charges.
But what came out in that process today is that this man, Roth, previously wrote a letter stating this was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump,
according to a new filing by federal prosecutors.
A witness told investigators that Ryan Wesley Roth, all these three names, folks,
had dropped off a box at his home months before.
Mind you, this is a separate witness now, which contained ammunition, a metal pipe,
miscellaneous building materials, tools, four phones, and various letters.
After learning of the apparent assassination attempt, the witness opened the box, according to the find.
Now, he didn't open the box until he heard about the assassination attempt.
One letter addressed to the world from Ryan Wesley Roth.
This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, but I failed you.
I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster.
It is up to you now to finish the job, and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.
This particular revelation by federal prosecutors only generates more questions than answers regarding the second attempt on Donald Trump's life.
That is, who is this Ryan Wesley Roth? Where did he get his money? Where did he get access to
ammunition, firearms, cell phones? And how is he recruiting others into doing the same thing he's
doing? And how many others have received similar packages and are
already out there in the wild considering how they might attack former President Donald Trump.
Well, we'll keep an eye on this story as well because it's full of holes, as usual,
anytime there's an assassination attempt on Donald Trump. The media tends to look way past it.
Let's get into World War III news here today,
continued on this. You're going to see a shift in tone here probably over the next few days
regarding the use of nuclear weapons within Russia and Ukraine. We have this latest from
RT, talk of nuclear red button inappropriate. This comes from Sergey Lavrov here.
Russia has no wish to start a nuclear war
and considers it inappropriate
that its warnings of an escalation
in the Ukraine conflict
are being portrayed as an intention
to use atomic weapons.
Fears of an escalation between Russia and NATO
have been intensifying in recent weeks
as Western states have stepped up discussions
about allowing Ukraine to conduct missile strikes deep into Russian territory.
Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this month warned that such permission
would be taken as the West's direct involvement in the conflict and be met with an appropriate response.
His words were taken by some to mean that Moscow is ready to deploy nuclear weapons.
Now, I'm going to read
portions of this article here, and you're going to listen to a possible change in tactics by Russia
here. In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Lavrov was asked whether this was the case.
The minister responded that while Russia indeed has weapons that would have serious consequences
for the handlers of the Ukrainian regime, meaning the U.S. and its Western allies.
It has no wish to use them.
We talk about red lines, counting on the fact that our assessments and statements
will be heard by smart, decision-making people.
To claim that if tomorrow someone doesn't do what we ask,
we will press the red button is inappropriate.
The minister stated, adding that he believes Western decision
makers understand this because nobody wants a nuclear war. It would be a direct war of NATO
against Russia. NATO is already waging a war against Russia, but it is a hybrid war through
the hands of Ukrainians. If we are talking about long-range missile weapons, it is clear to everyone
that the Ukrainians themselves will not be able to use them, he stated, explaining that story to the following story from the Washington Post, and it says this,
With nuclear option unlikely, Putin struggles to defend his red lines.
Now, see the tone that's being put there.
The West is primarily one to say, Russia's not going to use nuclear weapons.
They're not going to go down that road because they know how dangerous it is.
When Russian President Vladimir Putin warned earlier this month
that Western approval for Ukraine to strike deep inside Russia
would mean
Moscow was at war with NATO. Russian propagandists rushed to rattle the nuclear saber. Now, this is
the Washington Post saying this. But inside the Kremlin, there's a growing recognition that the
repeated use of the nuclear threat is starting to lose its potency and that Moscow's red lines are
constantly being crossed. Remember, this is the Washington Post saying this.
Analysts and officials close to senior Russian diplomats said that instead,
that Putin is casting around for a more nuanced and limited response to the West,
allowing Ukraine to use longer-range missiles to strike Russia.
There has been an overflow of nuclear threats, said a Russian official,
speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject.
There's already immunity to such statements, and they don't frighten anyone.
Once again, this is Washington Post.
A Russian academic with close ties to senior Russian diplomats agreed, calling the nuclear option the least possible of scenarios because it would really lead to dissatisfaction among Russia's partners in the global south,
and also because clearly, from a military point of view, it is not very effective.
Now, this is the important part here of this story.
All this discussion of the nuclear threshold over-exaggerates the threat of such a type of escalation
and underestimates the possibility of alternative
options, the academic added. Since the West has a global military infrastructure,
a lot of vulnerable points can be found. Are we about to see the World War III, which is already
underway, it has been underway since 2022, are we about to see this go to a global level where Russia is not concerned so much in invoking the nuclear option in the European theater,
but actually taking the fight to extended places where the West has planted its flag, so to speak?
We'll be watching this story as well as others as we continue on in our discussions of World War III
here on True News. Well, the whole purpose of World War III is to establish a new world order.
And Emmanuel Macron, the former Rothschild banker, and maybe even still employed by Rothschild in
some ways, is saying we need a new world order. Now, as many times as we've talked about the new world order here on True News,
this has a new perspective on it today.
URT is reporting that French President Emmanuel Macron has called for reform
of the current unjust world order so that humans can coexist more peaceably, he says.
He outlined his vision on Sunday as part of the
international, what he's calling, Imagining Peace gathering in Paris, which brought together leading
political and religious figures. Now, speaking before the Catholic community of San Egidio,
Macron said, we must be imaginative enough to think about the peace of tomorrow, a peace in Europe in a new form.
Now, what is that new form?
Well, he said, if the European continent is to become more stable, listen to what he says here.
Everyone should acknowledge that it is neither quite the EU nor resolutely NATO, he stated. In other words, he's already starting to pitch something beyond NATO,
beyond the European Union, a new world order.
We will have to think of a new form of organization for Europe
and rethink our relationship with Russia after the Ukraine conflict is over,
President Macron added.
And so they've already got the new world order on the books, folks.
They've already calculated this out.
They're ready for it.
The only thing they're waiting for is the end of this conflict, the end of this war.
And Emmanuel Macron has a heads up on it, and he's giving certain world leaders a heads up on it as well.
We'll continue to follow
this story. Another development as we see the world powers are changing hands and going back
and forth, and alliances are constantly changing. One pivotal member of NATO plays around with
BRICS. This is the latest from Jerusalem Post.
You see this headline here.
Turkey is seeking to join BRICS in a strategic shift away from the West.
And we have this story from the Jerusalem Post.
It says, and this is actually President Erdogan stating this,
Turkey can become a strong, prosperous, prestigious, and effective country, he said, if it improves its relations with the East and the West simultaneously.
Any method other than this will not benefit Turkey but will harm it.
Warming to his theme and sticking closely to his precarious but well-established strategy, he continued, We do not have to choose between the European Union and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as some people claim.
On the contrary, we have to develop our relations with both these and other organizations on a win-win basis. So we're about to see Turkey stand their ground and have their feet both in Europe
and in Asia as we move forward in this. Where this will end up, who knows? And we'll continue
to watch this. Well, today's theme is on artificial intelligence and on the development
of new technologies as it relates to that.
Caught this story earlier today.
It may not seem like that big of a story here,
but it has some meaning here as we get to the next story.
Look at this headline.
It says, A Bottle of Water Per Email,
The Hidden Environmental Costs of Using AI Chatbots.
Now, artificial intelligence is expanding and growing at a rapid pace,
but artificial intelligence requires volumes of energy. It's unimaginable amounts of energy to maintain all the demands of artificial intelligence. And so in the Washington Post article here,
they make the claim that it costs as much to produce a bottle of water as it does to send one email generated through artificial intelligence.
Which leads to our next story here, which I saw this over the weekend.
I was like, I can't believe this.
This is big news.
Look at this headline from the Washington Post.
Microsoft deal would reopen Three Mile Island nuclear plant to power AI.
You remember Three Mile Island,
the largest nuclear catastrophe on U.S. soil?
Well, Pennsylvania's dormant
Three Mile Island nuclear plant
would be brought back to life
to feed the voracious energy needs of Microsoft
under an unprecedented deal announced Friday
in which the tech giant
would buy 100%
of its power for 20 years, 100% of a nuclear power plant for 20 years.
It goes on in the article to say that the restart of Three Mile Island, the site of
the worst nuclear accident in U.S. history, would mark a bold advance in the tech industry's
quest to find enough electric power to support its boom in artificial intelligence.
We're going to be talking more about AI and all the implications of the energy demands
and what the future holds for artificial intelligence here in just a few moments.

special series of programs here on True News. And today we're going to be featuring information that
is going to get you up to date on the latest that's happening in artificial intelligence and topics like how do you power artificial intelligence, chat GPT, and others.
And joining me right now are Faith and Value staff members, Eric Rodriguez and Paul Benson.
Great to have you guys with us today.
And we knew the news segment here just a few moments ago talking about Microsoft actually working on a deal to restart, of all things, Three Mile Island.
The two of you maybe don't remember Three Mile Island.
It might be before your time, but it's etched in my memory as a Gen Xer.
It was the biggest nuclear disaster that occurred on American soil. And now Microsoft is reacquiring or working in partnership
to restart Three Mile Island for the purpose of having enough energy to power artificial
intelligence. And I don't guess people really realize how much energy artificial intelligence
is consuming and what's required to keep all of this new technology running. So let's get started here
today and talk about this and a whole bunch of other issues today. And I'll start off with Paul
here today. Paul, what's the latest that we need to be looking for as far as artificial intelligence
and chat GPT is concerned? Sure. Well, I just think with any technology, once the innovation is hitting this
critical mass moment, everything starts speeding up. And we're in that right now. So just even
between the last episode of Next Tech News that we did and today, there's a ton of changes. The
whole landscape has changed. And that growth is requiring more power, more infrastructure.
You know, in my research, getting ready for today, we were talking about right now we're in chat GPT-4.
They're talking about chat GPT-5 and everything that it's going to bring. I think one of the major takeaways,
everything that we can do right now with ChatGPT 4, its abilities are kind of based on this,
what's called a context window, which uses about 128,000 tokens. At a given time, that's like the data that ChatGPT is able to access and perform whenever you give it complex questions. And
they're saying that chat GPT-5, when this is announced, it's going to be 10 to 20x times
where we're currently at. So that's going anywhere from 250 to 500,000, estimating about, let's see, 1.2 to 2.5 billion in compute power
and cost. So this ChatGPT-5, when this comes out, its abilities are going to be available to
access millions amounts of data points in a moment whenever
you ask it a question. So it's just expanding so rapidly. We're just kind of hanging on for dear
life. Well, and for those that are not familiar with ChatGPT and some of the artificial intelligence
platforms that are out there, this is rapidly changing a number of industries and a number of even the way that we do business, sorting resumes,
writing employee manuals. It impacts everything. But there might be a lot of people out here,
Paul, that may not even understand the differences that are going to be in place between chat 4.0 and
chat 5. How big a jump are we talking about here as far
as technology is concerned? Well, I think to give it some context, I can go into really one of the
most recent updates that they gave chat GPT. And this will kind of give you an understanding of
where we're at right now today and what's coming up next. So they have these two projects that they're working on
that are very top secret, hidden behind the scenes.
The first one is called, I believe, the Strawberry Project, Project Strawberry.
And this was said to be bringing in the ability to do reasoning into chat GPT.
This is not artificial general intelligence or AGI, which is basically like a
more human-like thinking computer. We're not there yet, but we're very close. And this reasoning
ability is very interesting. And over the weekend, I was chatting with chat GPT. So you're able to,
you know, obviously type questions and get responses. And I was asking GPT about this new
update. It's called 01. And I was asking, you know, explain what these new abilities are
and what can you achieve now that you weren't able to achieve before. So it was explaining that here's my ability to –
so it's explaining its ability to reason and how it's accomplished
and the new possibilities that it brings.
It's able to do large-scale training data.
So it's been trained on vast data sets that includes books, articles,
other textual information from the Internet.
So they put a ton more data into AI.
They have what's called reinforcement learning from human feedback, which means that humans have ranked the different responses that AI was generating.
So they brought this human element to it. And then there's this chain of thought reasoning where it's able to break down
problems and think about step-by-step how it's going to respond. So it follows much more like
how a genius or a human being might approach a problem. And then it gives this response and context to it.
And one of the best things to do is maybe in a moment we can run through actually doing one of these requests.
Another interesting point is that now you can watch what it's doing while it's coming up with your response.
What do you mean by that, Paul?
We'll see in a moment. So, with this new update, the response time is actually taking longer,
but it's doing more. So, it's able to take 15 seconds to give you a response, but in those 15
seconds, it tells you what it's doing each moment. And each moment, the action that it's doing is relevant to the question that you asked.
So we can do this live actually here on the show, and we'll see what this looks like.
All right. So while Paul's getting that ready and everything and getting that demonstration set up,
Eric, let me just ask you real quick here, the significance of the changes that are
taking place here within artificial intelligence, how do you see that impacting the way that we live
day to day? Wow. You know, there's two sides of this coin, and you've got the people that are
fearful of what AI is going to do.
They're fearful of it taking over the world, taking over jobs and to that degree.
And I think at some level, at some point in time, there is deep concern about these things happening, about taking over jobs and replacing people either in day-to-day roles or even, even at a political
level. On the other side, I see, I see AI as being a helpmate in most scenarios. I mean,
we use it here often here at work where we're constantly using it to help, um, jumpstart some
ideas, jumpstart some, some copy for some marketing efforts. marketing efforts. And I view it as it being like an entry
level worker that is partnering alongside of me. You know, I don't have time to do this thing.
Let's go to AI real quick and let it just kind of jumpstart what I'm trying to achieve. And then
I'll take that and then, you know, build it out from there.
So I don't know. I think I think there's good and bad, you know, with it. You've got some people
like Eric Schmidt from Google where he's a video coming up later in the show where he's got some
concerns about, you know, what is to come and how AI is going to rapidly evolve over these next probably one to
two, maybe three years and where, you know, it's consuming more power. So it's consuming more
energy resources, which would have an impact on us humans. You know, it's going to impact the job
market for good or bad. So I don't know.
I still feel like we're at this tipping point of where we're going to see how AI is really going to impact society as a whole.
Right.
And it's like any other technology that mankind comes across.
It can be used both for good and for evil.
I mean, there are as many people killed with
hammers every year as there are with guns here in America. And so, and, you know, that's not the
purpose of the hammer, but at the same time, it can be used for evil. Paul, bringing you back into
the conversation here, are you ready for that demonstration that we're about to look at?
Yeah, absolutely. I have it set up. If we can share my screen here, I have a chat GPT window loaded. And, you know, I'm actually just going
to start with one of the latest things that it can do, which is solving your algebra homework.
So this is just a very real world thing. Let's say that you're struggling with algebra.
You know, it's going to follow the quadratic equation here. So, it's not only going to solve
for you, it's going to explain how it's going to solve and get the solution. So, as far as
just children that are going to be growing up in the age of AI and helping them understand
any kind of homework, science, math problems, historical references. There's this whole thing
with now kids aren't going to have to do their own research, but this is incredible. I mean,
they're going to be able to understand how to solve complex equations.
Moving on, I pre-generated an interesting question. I thought that might be good for
the True News audience. So, what are the biggest cover-ups that have leaked involving the United States government?
And do you have any theories of what we might find out to be true in the coming years?
Well, that's a complex question there.
Right. And these are the kinds of questions we can ask. So I'm going to go ahead and submit this,
and I'm going to read out what it's doing while it's processing. So here you can say it's thinking about it.
It's addressing a request.
It's evaluating disclosure, navigating guidelines, which is interesting, examining significant leaks, presenting government cover-ups, revealing secrets, thought for 14 seconds, and then it gives its response.
So here you're able to see notable u.s government cover-ups
that have been exposed goes through the watergate scandal pentagon papers uh you got the intra
contra affair nsa mass surveillance revealed in 2013 and the mk ultra program um all those are
true things that actually happen that have been leaked. Wow. Yeah. So, and this is the thing.
I have asked questions about like faith and, you know, do you believe X, Y, and Z?
And it kind of will give you these, you know, PC responses.
But then here we go, potential future revelations.
So, let's see.
It's talking about UFOs or UAPs.
Future disclosures may provide more clarity on these incidents.
Cybersecurity and digital surveillance.
Public health policies.
So maybe kind of talking about COVID a little bit.
And then gives you a conclusion.
So this is an example of some of the questions you can ask.
I have another one here.
I'll throw this one in.
In comparing all of your research, do you think there is life on other planets? What is the
greatest evidence that points to your conclusion? That's an interesting question. Okay. Let's see
what ChatGPT has to say about it. And for those of you that are listening by audio and everything,
what we're doing is we're actually accessing ChatGPT Live here and asking live questions and seeing what the responses are.
And what's this latest question here, Paul?
This is, is there life on other planets?
Yeah, so in this one, it's going to be talking about there is no evidence of life on other planets, and then it's going to be going into explaining several reasons of life existing in the universe here.
So, it's going to be going through, like, evidence of Mars and the moons, and the greatest evidence pointing to the possibility of extraterrestrial life.
You know, I'm not going to go through each of these responses, but kind of cool.
And actually, what we'll do when we publish this show, I will publish links to these questions.
If you do want to go back and read through some of these items, that would be great.
So, I'm going to, just for the next one here, I'm going to finalize with one more question
surrounding all the research here that ChatGPT has access to.
What are some of the biggest standouts when it comes to evidence pointing to the existence
of God, of the God in the Bible?
So let's see what it comes up with.
Okay. So, we have an introduction
and it's going to be explaining...
The various arguments for God, yes, okay.
The existence of God in the Bible being a profound question. So, it talks about
how it's being explored through theology, science, and other personal experiences. So, it talks about how it's being explored through theology, science, and other
personal experiences. So, it kind of gives you this thing like, I'm not a person, I'm not going
to give you my beliefs, but here is the empirical, there's a lack of empirical evidence in the
scientific sense, but then there's several arguments and pieces of evidence cited by believers and scholars.
So, it kind of gives you this setup and then some responses here.
There's a theological argument, a moral argument, and the historical evidences of Jesus Christ.
So, very interesting here.
What do you think about this, Doc? I think it's mind-bending to consider how much information it can generate so quickly.
But are there cases where AI finds itself a little bit short as far as its knowledge base is concerned?
In other words, can it be wrong?
It sounds to me like this would be great for research and everything,
but we can't completely rely on it because I guess what I'm asking is can artificial intelligence hallucinate or can it flat out lie if it's programmed to do so?
That's kind of where I'm seeing some of the drawbacks on artificial intelligence here in chat GPT.
What do you think about that?
Yeah, definitely. Everything has to kind of be taken with a grain of salt here.
Even at the very bottom here, it says chat GPT can make mistakes. Check important info.
So that's kind of the general disclaimer you get with any of this. And I always am trying to get
some juicy responses when asking
these big questions, but it's interesting to see what it's taking from all this information that
it's able to access and its opinions that it's able to form. You know, earlier today, I also
asked a question about what it thinks about the human race.
And now that you have access to all this information, what is your opinion of the human race?
And what do you project for the next 25 to 50 years?
And its response was very interesting.
Again, I don't think we have time to go through it all, but I will post these links in the show notes. And if this interests you and you want to kind of peek behind the curtain and see what's going on with some of these questions, we'll publish that for you. I'll share them with Paul.
Real quick.
Oh, go ahead, Eric.
Sorry, real quick on that.
You talked about the hallucination and then getting things wrong.
Just real quick, I watched a quick video from open AI regarding their Oh one preview.
And they just did a simple, uh, prompt of how many R's are in the word strawberry.
And the current public model for, Oh, uh, came back saying there's only two.
And that was, it's, this is, you know, multi-billion dollar, you know, uh, tech here.
And it comes back as saying two. Well, then he put the
same prompt in 01 preview, and it took a little bit longer time to answer such a simple question,
but it gave the right answer, as in there was three R's in the word strawberry and not two.
And so what we're starting to see with these new models rolling out is that, yes, it's taken a little bit longer time to process the answers.
But what it's doing is it's giving you more thought through responses that are going to be more accurate.
So they're getting us to a point where they're going to start refining these models to where we won't have to second
guess what it's telling us. We may for a while, but we're starting to see the advancement taking
place in these new previews. So, you know, there aren't two ours in Strawberry. There's three,
according, you know, thanks to, you know, 01 Preview for those who didn't know that. So it
is coming. They're making refinements to this,
so you're not having to second guess AI. The other day I was talking to Paul about
ChatGPT, and I use it occasionally for research and everything just so it kind of shortens my
time and preparation for some things. And it gave an answer one time. I wasn't quite convinced that it was the best answer.
And so I asked ChatGPT, is this your best answer to this question?
ChatGPT came back and edited their answer and provided more information and references for their answer.
And so you see this evolving taking place.
The evolution of ChatGP is just one example of how artificial intelligence is moving rapidly.
And recently, I guess Google CEO Eric Schmidt had some things to – or ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt's comments saying, we have no idea what's up ahead, do we, gentlemen?
That's right. Yeah. So this interview, they're saying it was leaked, but it was posted to Stanford's official YouTube channel. But then they quickly took it down as they got some public
backlash. And I think he went into some things that he probably didn't expect him to or didn't realize that he went into.
So this was kind of scraped and then republished through a couple of channels.
We have a couple of clips from it we can listen to here.
So this first one is about the unseen impact of AI.
Let's take a listen.
Rolled at a scale that no one understands yet. Much bigger than the horrific impact we've had by social media, right, in my view. So here's why. In a context window, you can basically use
that as short-term memory. And I was shocked that context windows could get this long. The technical reasons have to do with the fact that it's hard to serve, hard to calculate, and so forth.
The interesting thing about short-term memory is when you feed, you're asking a question, read 20 books.
You give it the text of the books as the query, and you say, tell me what they say.
It forgets the middle, which is exactly how human brains work, too.
That's where we are. With respect to agents, there are people who are now building essentially LLM agents
and the way they do it is they read something like chemistry, they discover the principles
of chemistry, and then they test it. And then they add that back into their understanding,
right? That's extremely powerful.
And then the third thing, as I mentioned, is text action.
So I'll give you an example.
The government is in the process of trying to ban TikTok.
We'll see if that actually happens.
If TikTok is banned, here's what I propose each and every one of you do.
Say to your LLM the following.
Make me a copy of TikTok. Steal all the users. Steal
all the music. Put my preferences in it. Produce this program in the next 30 seconds. Release it.
And in one hour, if it's not viral, do something different along the same lines. That's the command. Boom, boom, boom, boom, right?
You understand how powerful that is. If you can go from arbitrary language to arbitrary digital
command, which is essentially what Python in this scenario is, imagine that each and every human on
the planet has their own programmer that actually does what they want as opposed to the programmers that work
for me who don't do what i ask right the programmers here know what i'm talking about so imagine a
non-arrogant programmer that actually does what you want and you don't have to pay all that money
to and there's infinite supply of these programs and this is all within the next year or two so
we can end this clip here so um this just kind of goes through and explains kind of the types of things, the types of workers that you can create.
You can also – anything you can dream up at this point where it's going to react to a different scenario and then actually –
it's like someone that's controlling a social media channel or something like that.
You're able to set these parameters and actually have a worker that's ready to do X, Y, and Z based on a number of different scenarios.
So this is kind of the beginning state of having a remote AI worker on your team to essentially do tasks that you can now automate that you previously weren't
able to automate. So that's kind of an amazing, amazing fact that we're in right now.
And when Rick and I were at Barcelona earlier this year, and we saw a presentation on this
very thing about digital workers, and that 2024 and 2025 would be the year that we would start seeing the launch of digital employees,
maybe even digital CEOs out there managing, running companies.
We already see a number of companies that have shifted their human resources department to a digital model.
And this is taking on a whole new level of recruiting potential employees and maybe even recruiting digital employees.
It is a rapidly changing world, gentlemen.
Absolutely.
Yeah, and we're seeing this already taking place in customer support.
If you go to most websites today, their little chat bot in the bottom corner of a website is being powered by AI and you're seeing these agents
already being built in. So, you know, it's already here and it's just going to expand from there. So
if you're not already seeing that now on all websites, you're going to start seeing it rapidly
increase over these next several months as AI is getting more and more refined and people are
using these agents to cut costs and be more efficient if we could jump to clip number three so ai and warfare this is really interesting they
talked about how ai driven drone drones are being used in the ukraine war and then we can talk a
little bit about robotics let's check it out five million dollar tanks tanks. How's that changing warfare? I worked for the Secretary of Defense for seven years and tried to change the way we run our military.
I'm not a particularly big fan of the military, but it's very expensive, and I wanted to see if I could be helpful.
And I think, in my view, I largely failed.
They gave me a medal, so they must give medalists to failure or, you know, whatever. But my self-criticism was
nothing has really changed. And the system in America is not going to lead to real innovation.
So watching the Russians use tanks to destroy apartment buildings with little old ladies and
kids just drove me crazy. So I decided to work on a company with your friend, Sebastian Thrun,
and a number, as a former faculty member here, and a whole bunch of Stanford people.
And the idea basically is to do two things.
Use AI in complicated, powerful ways for these essentially robotic war.
And the second one is to lower the cost of the robots.
Now you sit there and you go, why would a good liberal like me do that?
And the answer is that the whole theory of armies is tanks, artilleries, and mortar.
And we can eliminate all of them.
All right.
So, wow.
That kind of brings up some pretty interesting things.
So, they're talking about changing the landscape of what war looks like.
This is especially interesting to me
because right now when they say robotics,
really what we're seeing is people using drones, right?
Drone strikes.
We've seen the videos of, you know,
in the Russia-Ukraine war,
you know, attack drones flying down from the sky
and blowing up either a group of military or whatever.
But there is something much bigger, I think, going on behind the scenes.
And I wanted to bring up something that we actually picked up at a conference we went
to.
A couple members from here went to this FALT conference in 2024.
FALT conference in 2024. It was a Patrick Bette David conference and there was a speaker there that I've heard before named Max
Tegmark and he's a Swedish American physicist he was I wanted to talk about this because it almost
seemed like once he said it it was almost like he regretted it. So I wanted to
bring it up today because it was interesting. He was talking about that he was at some,
not top secret, but he was in this conference that you're really not supposed to talk about,
but here he is talking about it. He said it included one of the top 10 richest people in America, and he was asking questions about a theoretical robot army. I don't really
know what exactly he was saying, but he was saying, you know, let's say there were 200,000
robots and, you know, someone that has that kind of money were to create an army of robots that
would be big enough to take over the U.S. Army,
or at least give a fighting chance.
And he said, it's not Elon Musk.
And they were kind of joking back and forth about this.
And, you know, okay, who are the top 10 richest people in America?
Who could it be?
Who could afford a robot army?
That's the question at hand, yes.
These are apparently the questions we have to ask ourselves i mean could it be jeff bezos or um larry page or larry ellison so it's like going through all the different people um but you know this we don't know what's going on behind the
scenes you know is darpa are they creating a robot army right now, just behind the scenes?
Are robotics advanced enough to even create some type of an army yet?
We're getting close.
I would say you'd have to look at what Tesla is currently doing.
Nine months ago, they announced Optimus Gen 2,
which is this humanoid-looking robot, and they are going to be among us.
They're projecting to have, I believe they said, one robot in every other household, doing things like taking care of elderly, doing your dishes, cooking your meals.
These humanoid robots are definitely going to be around probably in our lifetime.
So the thought of robotic armies isn't too far-fetched.
No, it's not far-fetched at all.
Elon Musk, just recently here, we reported on
true news. By 2025, he expected to have tens of thousands of robots already produced by the end
of 2025. If that's the case, that's going to rapidly change the landscape of every industry
out there, manufacturing, service industry.
And so what's the connection here between robotics and artificial intelligence?
Either Eric or Paul, jump in here.
Go for it, Paul.
So with every advancement in artificial intelligence, today we kind of got a glimpse into how AI is able to process questions and situations.
Well, as that's advancing exponentially, then interacting with robots or robotics, that's going to be – that's essentially its mind, its ability to access all that information, the ability to access data in real time, things that happened earlier that
day. We'll be able to essentially have a robot that you can bring with you anywhere, ask any
question, ask it to do things, and it's going to essentially act, you know, even surpass human intelligence so that they're attempting to do that. But we're going to be
seeing robots in and around public pretty soon. I think, you know, another thing that's interesting,
Eric, should we talk about the Tesla employee that we met?
Yeah, I got a question really quick.
So based off that number, was it one and two?
Is it going to be in every single home or whatever?
So there's three of us here. So which one of us is going to end up with the robot in our home?
Which one's going to cave first and spend the $10,000 plus to have a robot?
Well, I like my money, so it's not going to be me.
I'll keep doing the same.
I might rent a robot.
You might be able to talk me into renting one or getting one on subscription, but outright
buying one, it'd be like buying a new car.
I know in two years, I'm going to need a new robot, right?
Right, right.
You definitely, for me, I couldn't trust the first model of anything.
Hey, the Model T was pretty good.
Yeah.
I don't think I'm going to be bringing in a Tesla robot version one into my home with kids and family.
That's just insane to me.
I'll just keep mine out in the shed, leave it for the lawn, picking up sticks, that kind just insane to me. I just keep mine out in the shed, you know, leave it for the lawn, picking up sticks, you know, that kind of stuff.
But you mentioned about our Tesla buddy.
You and I were on a trip in Arizona here several months ago, and we were at a charging station.
We had the privilege.
We rented a Tesla for our rental and just experienced what that was like.
And so we were at a Tesla supercharging station, and there was a Cybertruck next to us.
And we had the opportunity to speak with the owner of that Cybertruck.
Come to find out, he's actually a Tesla employee.
He worked in the Texas plant.
I believe he was like some type of maintenance supervisor of some sort and he hopped in our car and and just kind of gave us
a rundown of you know how to use different things and different features and he started indulging on
some information about you know hey if you can you know, invest in Tesla because these things are coming.
But then he started talking about this whole autonomous network that's getting ready to
launch.
It was announced recently that's going to be a competitor to Uber.
And it's going to be autonomous vehicles that are going to be picking up people, dropping
them off, and just basically working on their own.
And we brought up the question, well, how in the world are these teslas going to get charged when they show up to
these charging stations he said that his thought and what he has seen is that elon plans to have
an optimist robot at every single charging station to monitor the charging station. And so if you, as a human, own a Tesla,
you could either be approached to have an Optimus robot
come up to your car and charge it for you,
unhook it so you're staying in your car the whole time.
But if you have a vehicle that you have enrolled
into this Uber-like ecosystem that's making money for you, your vehicle could show up to a charging station at the proper time that needs to be charged.
An Optimus robot will walk over to your autonomous vehicle and charge your vehicle for you with no human intervention whatsoever.
Yeah.
And then it will then plug it in, stay in there, unplug it, and then your autonomous
vehicle will then just take off to its next delivery or next taxi pickup or whatever,
all on its own.
And keep in mind, too, that an autonomous vehicle is simply a robot on wheels.
Right.
Exactly.
So a robot will be in service by another robot.
Exactly.
Wow. That's mind-boggling. It's tough to think about.
I wish Elon Musk had come up with a different name than Optimus, though.
That sounds pretty diabolical.
Only an evil Bond villain would come up.
I think I'll call my robot Optimus.
Right.
It's going to be uh for some tesla owners and they they go to work their car to essentially go work for them all day
and charge itself keep working and then come back and pick you up oh and take you back home so um
and when you know this was like mind- blowing information when he was telling us this,
like, like, how is this guy telling us this? And then Elon, I think, announced it a few weeks
later. And, you know, they're projecting that Tesla owners that have these things enabled in
their vehicles and fully, you know, do this can make upwards of $100,000 a year.
They're projecting there's like a revenue sharing split with Tesla.
And that would reduce congestion on roads and a whole bunch of other things.

Welcome. Good morning, man. Glad to have you here with us here. We are so excited to have you part of our broadcast today,
our part of our podcast as we study the Word of God.
I'm Doc Burkhardt. Rick Walls is out of town this week,
but I'm sure that he'll be watching and listening.
And so we ask you to be praying for him and for Susan
and for traveling mercies for them and for blessing be upon them.
Let's open up
in a word of prayer and then we'll get right into the word of God. We're continuing our study in
Matthew chapter 23 today. Let's pray and then we'll read the word. Heavenly Father, in Jesus'
name, thank you for this glorious opportunity, Lord, to share the word of God with your people.
I ask today, Lord, that your Holy Spirit would be here
to guide and direct us into all truth. Lord, that your word would be revealed to us. Lord,
give us wisdom and understanding regarding your word. Your word says that if any man lacks wisdom,
let him ask of God and you would give it. So, Lord, we're asking for wisdom regarding your word today. Help us to understand our passage
today and how it fits into the overall spectrum of scripture. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen and amen.
We're reading today from Matthew chapter 23, and we're going to be focusing today on verses 29
through 33. So let's read the scriptures first, and then we'll get into
our discussion here as we study the Word of God together. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites, because you build the tombs of the prophets and garnish the sepulchers of the
righteous, and say, if we had been in the days of our fathers we would not have been partakers with them in the
blood of the prophets wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves that you are the children
of them which killed the prophets fill ye up then the measure of your fathers ye serpents
ye generation of vipers how can you escape the damnation of hell? Well, Jesus isn't holding
back in this passage today as we dive into this. And first of all, we want to say welcome to
the hundreds of people that join us here on Faith and Values each and every weekday morning to study
the Word of God together. And we thank you. We have people that tune in as varied as Russia,
to France, to the Congo, to Brazil, to Korea,
to the Philippines, and need I go on every day.
Hundreds of people from all over the world
join us together live on faithinthevalues.com
to study the Word of God. And we're getting into a very significant passage of Scripture. All
Scripture is significant, of course, but a lot of people focus on, in Matthew, their focus tends to
be on Matthew chapter 24 and 25, and we're certainly going to be getting into that later this week.
We're going to start our study in Matthew chapter 24.
And we've had the opportunity, Rick and I have had the opportunity to teach from Matthew 24 before.
I think you're going to be intrigued by our take on that particular passage of Scripture.
And so we encourage you, especially later on this week,
if someone has been asking about
having an understanding about the end times
and Matthew 24 has been a challenge for them,
then I would encourage you to invite your friends
to be a part of faithandvalues.com
and to join us for Morning Manor.
We'll probably be getting into
Matthew 24 later this week,
probably Thursday or Friday, start in
it, and then Rick will be joining us
again next week on Monday, and
he'll have a lot of insight into Matthew
24. But in the meantime,
we are in the preparatory stage
for Matthew
24. Now keep in mind
that when the Scriptures were initially written,
there weren't verses, there weren't chapter divisions or anything like that.
And so actually this whole passage, really starting at Matthew chapter 21
and going on into chapter 25 is all part of a single narrative.
So a lot of end times Bible preachers
tend to take Matthew chapter 24
and lift it out of the scriptures
and make it something that it's not.
You have to understand Matthew 24
in the first half of chapter 25.
You have to have an understanding
of what was going on in chapters 21 through 23.
So if you have not had the opportunity yet to go back and listen to previous editions of Morning
Manna, I'd like to encourage you to do so, because the information and the knowledge that you're
gaining in studying those chapters will prepare you for an interpretation of chapter 24 that is broken out from dispensationalism and from a lot
of other I would call erroneous views of chapter 24 so this is all preparation for us now chapter
23 what we're dealing with today is the woes that Jesus gave unto the Pharisees and scribes.
That's been the bulk of the chapter today.
We're looking at the very last woe here today, woe number seven.
And always, when I was a younger lad, just a tadpole,
I was always intrigued by the word whoa and it translates today to our
word our word Wow okay where so our word Wow came from that word whoa it's
interesting how it traveled through the English language and everything and then
ended up with Wow so I'm not saying we use that particular word here but
I'm just saying that's where the word itself developed from so Jesus is giving that last
woe there verse 29 it says woe unto you scribes and Pharisees hypocrites because you build the tombs of the prophets and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous.
So, if you were to travel to Jerusalem, and I've had the opportunity to go to Jerusalem and visit the city.
The city, it's not the same city as in the Bible.
It's built on the city that's in the Bible. It's built on the city that's in the Bible, but the city that sits there now is actually
a Roman city that was built by Hadrian back in about 150 AD, and we can go into a long history
of that, but basically remember that in 70 AD, Jerusalem was sacked. It was destroyed and plowed under by the Romans. Not a single stone
stood on top of one another. The entire city was basically raised and turned under. There was no
Jerusalem after 70 AD. There was only the remains of Jerusalem after 70 AD. It wasn't until about 150 AD that the Emperor Hadrian
decided to rebuild a city on the remains of Jerusalem. And so it wasn't until many
years after that that people started calling that city once again Jerusalem.
And so the city that calls itself jerusalem today was not originally jerusalem it
was originally a roman city with roman roads roman planning roman everything that's a hard thing for
a lot of people to accept they just think there was one continuous city of jerusalem that has
existed from the bible times all the way through today which which is not the case at all. And so when we talk about
the modern day state of Jerusalem, it is no more the biblical Jerusalem than the city of Jerusalem,
Pennsylvania. Okay. It's just a name that's attached to it. Giving it the name Jerusalem
doesn't make it greater than anything else.
Now, it's interesting that if you go to what they call the modern-day city of Jerusalem, you can go visit many of the sites that Constantinople's mom visited.
She was really the first tourist director.
She was one that did Israel tours pilgrimages they called them back
in the 300s and that's when the name started being reattached to the area the
name Jerusalem because no one wants to go to a Roman city but everyone wants to
go on a tour to Jerusalem so it was the efforts of Constantinople's mom that came about and allowed for the change of
the name back to Jerusalem so the idea here is that they would visit various sites throughout
the city of Jerusalem one of those sites was the Mount of Olives.
Now, most of the places that you go to
on what they call the Via Della Rosa,
the Via Della Rosa was not a Jewish road.
The Via Della Rosa was a Roman road.
And the stops that they make on the Via Della Rosa,
if you ever go on the tour in Israel,
are conveniently on the Via de la rosa if you ever go on the tour in israel are conveniently on the via de la rosa
but that road did not exist in the year 150 a.d and so they built that later anyway we won't get
into all the history and everything the reason i brought that out is you can go to these places in
this place they call jerusalem and you can see some of these things. And one of the places there where Jesus is at,
so he's preaching in the temple at this time,
here in Matthew chapter 23.
And if you look out from the place where the temple is,
it is looking at the Mount of Olives.
Now, the Mount of Olives today, if you go there,
when most people, when they think of the amount of olives you get this picture of oh it's a beautiful
green mountain and it's got beautiful olive trees all over it and I mean you
can just walk up the hill you can pluck olives right off the tree and you can
eat them you can enjoy them uh you know there are people
just walking around uh this area of the mount of olives and they're just blessed to buy it well
that is certainly not the case today because the mount of olives today is a giant cemetery
that's right there's hardly any vegetation at all on it. I know because I've
been there. There's hardly any vegetation
on it at all.
It's just tombstones
and markers and sepulchers
just basically
from the top to the bottom of the Mount
Olives. Esteemed
heroes of
Israel are buried there.
For instance, Herzl is buried there, even though he was a necromancer and talked to dead people.
Robert Maxwell, even though he was a conspicuous spy for Israel, he's buried there.
As well as a number of other people throughout Israel'srael's history of jewish history uh end up there schindler
if you know the name schindler from schindler's list who the uh elevator uh builder who
saved hundreds maybe thousands of jews during world war ii he's buried there and so to be buried
on the mount of olives is considered a privilege.
But what I'm trying to tell you is that the Mount of Olives today is one giant cemetery from top to bottom.
There are no olive trees on the Mount of Olives. All the olive trees are down at the bottom of the Mount of Olives, down where they say the Garden of Gethsemane is.
And there's a church down there where people can go in
and be blessed by the Lord in the church down at the Garden of Gethsemane.
And you can walk through the garden where all the olive trees are and everything.
Supposedly, that's the site.
Now, there's no way they know that for sure.
No way, because once again, Jerusalem was destroyed.
It was leveled in 70 AD.
So, which brings us to our passage today.
Matthew 23, 29,
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites,
because you build the tombs of the prophets
and garnish the sepul tombs of the prophets and garnish the
sepulchers of the righteous um there if you go in jesus day uh they were just starting to bury
people on the mount of olives they were just starting to do it now if you go there today you're going
to find four distinct monuments there on the mount of olives down at the base of the mount of olives
and the valley that is in front of the uh mount of olives is called the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
Now, that's not the official name of it.
It's the Valley of Jezreel.
But modern-day evangelicals have renamed it the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
And they do that in order to make it fit into a dispensational prophecy about the end times.
Because there really is no Valley of jehoshaphat none the name jehoshaphat means judgment and so the valley that if you will that goes in front
of the mount of olives is the valley of judgment by their own admission it's the valley of judgment.
And if you go there today, you're going to see tombstones, markers,
sepulchers from across, you know, years and years,
a variety of different kinds of styles and architecture and everything.
You know, some going all the way back, you know, to the 300s,
and some would say even earlier than that.
And there are four big monuments there.
There's a monument to Zechariah.
There's a monument to Absalom, and there's a memorial to Jehoshaphat,
and also to James, the half-brother of Jesus.
Now, there's no evidence that these were given to them when they were built,
and the narratives of the earliest travelers going there vary in reporting them.
Now, it should be noticed, noticed though that these four names Zechariah is the only one that belonged to a prophet and the reference to the death of a
martyr prophet may have they have that name later on here that we'll be looking at in Matthew chapter where it talks about the death of Zechariah. So what would they do?
Well, Rick kind of touched on this last week
where it talked about that, you know,
sepulchers, they were whitewashed on a yearly basis.
The people that whitewashed the tombs
and made them pretty
and made them pretty and made them
wonderful looking and everything that you know that the outside look good but
the inside was dead okay and the Jews here that Jesus is speaking to
particularly the scribes and Pharisees,
says because you build the tombs of the prophets
and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous.
And so what they would do as time would go on,
let's say you had the tomb of Zechariah.
Well, every year they would add a little bit of something to it.
They would garnish it, improve it a little bit more. It wasn't, if you will, if you think of
sepulchers, it wasn't just for these older graves. It wasn't just a hole in the ground,
okay? They would decorate it. They would put
corniches and columns
and paintings
for the
sepulchers that were there.
But Jesus said that
you build temples to the prophets
yet you
killed the prophets.
You build temples to the prophets yet you killed the prophets you build temples to the prophets
yet you killed the prophets
you'll adorn their sepulchers
you'll adorn their graves
but you were the one that killed them
so Jesus brought out this hypocrisy to them
they did not understand
they could not rightly honor
the life of a prophet or just man.
They would decorate this tomb
not in memory of the message
that the prophet held,
but that really in a lot of ways
they were honoring their own efforts
at killing the prophets.
Now, you would think that the words that the prophets spoke themselves would be all the decoration and all the garnish,
I like that word garnish there,
that the tombs would need.
But the Pharisees, scribes, and the priestly Jews, they would build these elaborate sepulchers for
the prophets garnish these elaborate areas they there would actually they would build like a house
outside of the sepulchre where you could come and sit down you could actually eat i mean it's really incredible
uh and this is a lot of the ways in uh in so i i have lived in the philippines was a missionary in
the philippines and if you go to cemeteries in the philippines this was a a culture shock to
me so i'll share this with you today. It was a culture shock to me.
You go to the cemetery in the Philippines,
and there are really three types of cemeteries.
There's a cemetery for the well-off,
cemetery for the middle class,
and then the cemetery for the poor folks.
The poor folks, basically, they were just, you know,
concrete boxes built in walls, okay,
that they would bury people in.
This is in the Philippines.
In what I would call the middle class area of the cemetery in the Philippines,
you had nice elaborate monuments,
I mean beautiful monuments
including benches that you could sit down and you could actually bring your uh like your tent from
home your awning from home and place it over the plot of mom and dad or whatever and uh but if
you're really well off you could actually build a small house there in the well-off
part of the cemetery.
And the well-off house would have a kitchen, have a bathroom, have a dining area.
It would even have a place upstairs where if you needed to lay down and take a nap,
you could. and in the Philippines they were very much into celebrating those that had gone on before
probably one of the most shocking things I ever saw was going my first time to the cemetery
on November 1st the day after October 31st which normally a lot of
people associate with Halloween but November 1st in Philippines is All Saints
Day and they go to cemetery and celebrate those that gone on before and
it is a carnival atmosphere at the cemetery I mean you have food trucks
that are driving up and down the road. You have pizza
being delivered. You have families that are camping out at the tombs and the markers for mom and dad
that have gone on before, and they'll stay there. They'll there overnight they'll you know they're
really committed to this and so but understanding that gave me a better
understanding of the sepulchers and everything that they would build
adjacent to the actual grave in Israel in the Philippines. Now the reason why they had a house is because a lot of the
if you will the mausoleums there in the Philippines is they were there for very several
members of the family to be laid the rest and likewise in the back in the first century is that the the tombs weren't meant to just be for
one person yeah they were really family family tombs where you would have several members of
the family in there and as a result over time they they would add to it and add decorations to it and everything.
And they did this to the tombs of the prophets as well.
And Jesus called their efforts at trying to rewrite their history.
So Jesus is calling them out for their attempt to say, look how we honor the prophets.
We honor the prophets by giving them a very nice sepulcher.
We honor the prophets by decorating their tombs.
Look how good we are to the prophets.
Yes, you're good to the prophets after they're dead.
You're good to the prophets after the dead
and so Jesus calls them out on this
he calls them out on this hypocrisy that they live in
and keep in mind the scribes and pharisees are enemies to the gospel
and therefore enemies to the souls of men
and so they're doing everything they can to draw people away distract people away from a true
understanding of the Lord and so what they're attempting to do here is they're attempting to say look how good we are as a people look how good we are as a people
why we honor the prophets we lift them up
and Jesus is calling them out and saying you know the outward motives may keep the outside
clean while the inside is filthy dirty.
But if the heart and the spirit are made new, there will be newness of life.
And here's where we actually begin ourselves.
How many people are going through life right now decorating a mausoleum decorating a gravesite how many people are going
through life like that how many and Jesus issues them a woe and what's
interesting is he points out to them, verse 31 here,
he calls them out on this.
He's about to start in verse 30 and say,
if we had been in the days of our fathers,
we would not have been partakers of them in the blood of the prophets.
Now, you understand what they're saying here, right?
Why, if we had been alive in the time of Isaiah or Jeremiah or any of the prophets that we killed
we would not have have martyred them we would not have killed them
uh we there would be no blood on us
now I'll give you I'll give the Pharisees credit. There is no necessity for assuming that the Pharisees did not actually mean what they said.
It was simply an instance of unconscious hypocrisy,
of which every generation has more or less been guilty,
and has condemned the wrongdoing of the past its bigotry its luxury
or greed then is yielded to the same sins itself so I'll give you an example in our own American
history at one point slavery was common slavery was was something that happened in the United States, and one of the groups,
political groups here in the U.S. that endorsed slavery was the Democratic Party.
There is no doubt about this. There is no question about this. In fact, the originators of most racially segregated groups like the Ku Klux Klan
and others, Democrats. And yet today, Democrats have totally distanced themselves from any
association with any wrongdoing related to slavery, its enforcement, its regulation,
its continuance for years past when it should have died out.
And they also say that the other side, the Republicans, they're racist.
They're the ones who are doing all the problems regarding racial integrity here in the United States,
when actually it's the Democrats
themselves. Now, I'm not making a political statement here. I'm just using this as an example
of how, depending on how you look at history, you will look back on and say, well, we would never,
we would never do that. Maybe the other guy over here would, but never would we would never do it when actually in many ways
we participate in the very same sins to this day now it's not limited to democrats either
there are people that are held in bondages of slavery economically racially here in this country we had just about
stamped out racism but then the democrats and to some extent the republicans figured out a way that
they could monetize it and use it for political gain division works good in politics especially angry division and so Jesus in our passage today is
pointing out to these scribes and Pharisees whether or not you would you yourselves would
actually kill the prophets he's exposing their religious nature because the religious nature of the Pharisees and of the scribes will always lead to death.
I'll say that again.
That's why Jesus is saying, whoa, there's a judgment coming upon you.
There's an accounting that's going to take place. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you build the tombs of the prophets
and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous
and say, if we had been in the days of our fathers,
we would not be partakers with them
of the blood of the prophets.
And yet Jesus is actually saying here,
my friend,
you would be just as guilty today as you would then
because you would reject the prophet's message today
as you did then.
And I think this is both
Jesus telling the people that were listening to his message
here at the temple
in mourning about the scribes and Pharisees,
he said, you'll know what their future is
by looking at their past.
And in several ways here,
Jesus is also forecasting his own death.
Because he's saying you know when you
have a prophet among you you you always reject him generally you always reject
him and if a prophet was among you this day Jesus is saying to them, you would reject him too. Why would you reject
him? Because you knew that the prophets were servants of the Lord, and they were holding
you accountable for the inheritance that God wanted to give. Now, what inheritance are
we talking about? Well, we had a parable here not too long ago where we
talked about uh where you had the parable of the husbandman and where it talked about
that god had given a vineyard to be taken care of by the husbandman and that was supposed to be the people of Israel. And when time came for the harvest,
for collection on the tenants that were living there in the vineyard,
they killed the servants.
First they tortured them, then they killed them.
And then eventually, even the son himself appeared
to demand his inheritance.
And it's my opinion, and it's also Rick's opinion too,
that I believe that the scribes and Pharisees in Jesus' day,
the ones that were interacting with him, the ones that were questioning him,
it's my opinion that they knew that Jesus was the Messiah.
They knew he was.
And they knew that the end of Judaism was fast approaching.
They knew if the Messiah truly appeared,
then everything that they were working for was going out the window and so
Jesus here in verse 30 is saying you know you guys say that if you had been
alive in the days of the prophets you wouldn't kill him but in this day in my day just jesus here my day you're going to kill me
you're going to kill me for the very same reason to try to steal the inheritance to steal the
inheritance from who from the son the son is the ultimate heir of the vineyard.
The son always is.
So in that parable, Jesus, being the son, is the one who was to inherit.
And what was the inheritance?
The world.
The whole world.
Now, in modern day Zionism, separate from Judaism as a whole, but in modern-day Zionism, they
believe that the state or the nation, the government, you are the political entity of
Israel.
They teach this.
This is part of their political doctrine.
They teach that the state itself, the nation itself, it it kind of hard to say it because
we think a state we think a state like here in the United States but the nation
I hate calling it a nation but the state of Israel itself is the Messiah they
believe that the that is the role of the state of israel to act as a messiah and be a light to
the nations to the whole world and they believe that to this day now you can press zionists on
this and they'll admit to that you try to press uh christ Zionists on it, they'll say, what are you talking about?
You're out of your mind.
Because Christian Zionists don't even know what Zionists believe.
That's the sad part.
Today's Christian Zionists don't even really understand
what Zionists believe.
I would say 90%.
Maybe the top 10% do.
But they believe it to this day.
So looking at verse 30, 31 here.
31 says,
Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves
that ye are the children of them
which killed the prophets. That you yourselves are the children of them which killed the prophets that you
yourselves are the children of them which killed the prophets so by them saying well we wouldn't
uh you know we wouldn't kill the prophets and we wouldn't do those things look how we honor
the sepulchers look at the decorations we put on everything but by them saying that they admit that they
themselves are the children of those that killed the prophets that they themselves are the ones
their words were true in that which they'd spoken they were reproducing in their deeds the very things that those of the fathers, they condemned.
And one thing
to point out here, there's a
small phrase in here, it says,
wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves.
Wherefore be witnesses unto yourselves. Wherefore be ye witnesses unto yourselves.
It's interesting that that phrase is unto yourselves.
Because that verse would have gone just fine without it.
It could have just said,
Wherefore be ye witnesses that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
But that unto yourselves is in there.
And what this is, it's an appeal
to their conscience.
Jesus is appealing to
their conscience. Now, he's not speaking
directly to the scribes and Pharisees
standing in the crowd there.
But you know the scribes and Pharisees were on
the outside of the crowd that Jesus
was teaching. And he was directing
the message unto them. And he's saying
unto them. And he's saying unto them, unto yourselves.
It was not by their building
these fancy tombs
that they were witnesses,
that they were children of those who killed
the prophets, but that
in spite of all this
pretense of piety and
doing nice things to sepulchers and building little houses in front of it, of all this pretense of piety and doing nice things to sepulchers and building little
houses in front of it, under all this cloak of profession, they knew in their consciences
and were witnesses to themselves that it was mere hypocrisy. They knew it. They knew it and that
they really, honestly, they
approved the conduct of those
who slew the prophets.
So when Jesus calls
them the children of
them which killed the prophets,
he said, you're just like your daddy.
You're just like
them.
In your conscience, your conscience already condemns you. So in doing all this decoration of tombs and, you know, keeping
them all pretty and adding to them and everything, they not only showed that they were descended from them but that
they possessed the same spirit and that if the circumstances were the same they
would have done just what they would have done there's no difference because
Jesus knew their hearts Jesus knew the hearts of them that were there wherefore be ye be witnesses unto
yourselves that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets i want to read a verse of
scripture here and uh we have about 300 people in chat today now i really appreciate you being
here with us live and you can be with here with us live every weekday morning at 8 a.m. on faithinvalues.com.
So go to faithinvalues.com, sign up for membership there,
and you can join us live each and every weekday morning for Morning Man at 8 a.m. Eastern Time.
And you can be a part of this live Bible study.
I want to read a passage of Scripture.
This is from 1 Thessalonians 2, verse 15. 1 Thessalonians 2, verse 15. Great part about
having everyone live on chat is I know that they're opening up their Bibles, and they're
turning to these passages as well, and we have people on chat that post the scriptures and everything.
So I want to read this passage.
Let me start at verse 14.
1 Thessalonians 2, verses 14 and 15.
It says here,
For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God,
which in Judea are in Christ Jesus.
For ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen
even as they have of the jews so paul is not afraid to call out and call a spade a spade
if you will verse 15 the jews who both killed the lord jesus and their own prophets
and have persecuted us and they please not god and are contrary to all men forbidding us to speak to
the gentiles that they might be saved to fill up their sins always for the wrath has come
upon them to the uttermost and so paul here confirms the same thing Jesus was talking about.
He said, you know, your nature is to kill anyone that delivers a message from God.
At least for the leadership of the Jews.
Maybe not condemning all Jews, but at least the Jewish leaders.
But the Jewish leaders will do the same thing over and over and over and over again.
They're doing everything they can to hinder the word of God from being preached.
Especially to the Gentiles they don't want the gospel message
preached to the Gentiles
and so Paul here affirms
what Jesus is saying here in Matthew 23
your nature is
you kill prophets
anytime someone brings a word from God,
you don't repent, you don't turn back,
with rare exception, very rare exception.
You don't turn back from your evil ways.
You continue in your sin.
And so the modern state of Israel holds the release design is to holds that the state of
Israel itself is the Messiah and whoever happens to be leading that at the time is kind of occupying
the role of Messiah so right now the gentleman occupying that role is Benjamin Netanyahu.
And what do the Jews do to Christians in Israel?
They'll persecute them.
They'll run them out of town.
If they get a chance, if they happen to live in Gaza and the West Bank, they'll kill them.
Now, am I being too condemning here?
Well, take a look at the
headlines today
about what's going on.
Now, I am no wise
condemning all Jews.
But Jewish leadership
cannot stand,
cannot stand
anyone occupying the seat of the Messiah other than themselves.
They can't stand the idea of someone else occupying the seat of the Messiah.
It's tragic satan has so so deeply deceived zionist leadership and in many ways christian
zionists have deceived them so much they'll give israel everything they'll give them missiles, rockets. They'll sponsor Holocaust survivors.
They'll sponsor soldiers to come and live here in the U.S.
They'll do all these things.
They'll do everything except for one thing.
Preach the gospel to the Jews.
We don't want to offend them.
Well, you're going to not offend them into hell.
Your lack of sharing the gospel with the Jews
is going to end up leading a lot of Jews to hell.
Now, I'm a firm believer in what the Scripture says
to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
But that's where the modern, to the Jew first and also to the Greek but that's where the modern especially the Western Church has totally failed we've totally
failed we will not preach the gospel to the Jews as a whole why because we don't
offend them because sneakily deep down inside of us a lot of folks in the Western church somehow believe that the
Jews are going to get saved without us.
Now, they can't come out and admit that.
They can't come out and say that.
But really, that's what they believe.
Because if the Jews don't need the the gospel then how are they getting saved if you ask most
people sitting in the pew i'm not talking about the guy in the pulpit or the guy at cemetery
talking about people in the pew and you ask them how are the jews saved
you might get some shocking answers some very shocking answers there I would think that many
believe that the Jews are saved just by the fact that they're Jews even though the scripture
teaches something very very different no Jesus himself, no one comes to the Father but through me.
I don't know how much more plain you can make that. No one comes to the Father but through him.
And yet, there are people within the Christian church today, I would say Christian Zionists,
that would say that there's a plan of salvation for the Jews
and a plan of salvation for the rest of us.
Now, there are groups in ministries that are devoted to evangelizing the Jews,
and to those, I applaud them.
But notice that some of these groups that seek to quote evangelize the Jews
don't really do that they don't really preach the gospel what they will do instead is they'll go
to Israel and they'll volunteer to work in a vineyard for free
or they'll volunteer to work in an olive orchard for free.
Because somehow in their minds it's twisted that if we help the Jews harvest their grapes,
bring in their harvest, that we're blessing them.
And that somehow that's going to lead to them being open to the gospel message.
No, it's never going to happen.
All they have done is they have found a group of people that they can find work for free.
And so the nature of those in charge of Zionism and modern Judaism has not changed from Jesus' day.
And I'm looking at some of our comments on chat here today,
and Daniel brought up one point.
Some believe that when Jesus returns, the Jews will look up and see Jesus
and then recognize him as their Messiah.
Then they will be saved.
So we
have to wait for that day. How many Jews
have to die before then?
How many Jews have to die and go to
hell before that day happens?
And I know, Daniel,
you don't believe that, but there are
some that I've heard that taught.
Well, one day, all
the Jews will be gathered in Israel,
and they're going to look up and they're going to see Jesus,
and they're going to say, there's the Messiah.
No.
They don't believe it.
They don't believe it.
At all.
It's not going to happen.
It's not going to happen. It's not going to happen at all.
Verse 32, fill you up then the measure of your fathers.
Wow. So Jesus really lays it on hard now.
Really hard.
Fill it up.
Go ahead, just fill up the the English language doesn't
really convey the full impact of what this reads in the Greek okay a thought
here is implied that each generation if you will,
as it passes on,
they add a little something to evil,
to the ever-accumulating mass of evil.
And as that last penalty falls,
as though the long-suffering of God had been waiting to the appointed limit,
a time had been reached,
and the measure of iniquity was at last full we have
uh the opinion of ourselves today that somehow we're not evil
that we're not evil. That somehow we're better people.
We're better morally.
We're better, you know, in so many ways
than those people that lived 2,000 years ago.
And yet Jesus here is saying, you know what?
Your evil just accumulates upon yourself.
You're not, Jesus saying to the Jews of his day,
he said, you think you're better than your fathers?
You think you're better than your fathers who killed the prophets?
My friend, you are totally deceived.
Jesus says in verse 32, fill it up.
Fill it up.
He's saying,
you're not just as wicked as your fathers,
you're more wicked than your fathers.
And they're going to prove it by killing the Messiah himself. They'll prove it by killing the Messiah himself.
You know, it's really a sad state that evil has continued to progress we're better at evil now than we've ever been
we don't just kill tens of thousands of people we'll kill millions
why why will we do it we'll do it for greed, for lust, for pride, for jealousy. We'll kill millions of people.
But we do it in a humane way.
Humane?
I see the pictures coming out of Gaza and the pictures coming out of Ukraine and Russia.
And we could go on for a thousand wars over a thousand years.
We have improved our method of killing.
We have improved our method of murder.
And as time has gone on,
we have also United States,
we ourselves, a Christian nation,
a Christian nation,
that we've killed over 60 million unborn human beings
in the most sacred of places, their mother's womb.
And we have allowed their blood to run through the sewers and into the water table of our nation.
We're participants of this genocide.
And it truly is a genocide of human beings.
We're participants in this, and the church now is silent.
The church placed its bets on making a political effort
to try to control abortion
instead of having a revival of men's hearts to end abortion.
Because, and I'll just say this right out loud, and I don't care who it offends,
abortion is a Jewish family value.
It was promulgated and profiteered here in the U.S. by Jewish entities.
Abortion is a Jewish family value.
So every time I wince, every time I hear the word Judeo-Christian,
there's no such thing.
There's no such thing.
And so, in many ways, we have heaped evil upon ourselves as a generation,
really as a body of believers. I don't hold everybody responsible
for that. It's usually right with the leadership. Again, what's being taught or what's not being
taught? What's not being taught today is we're told to ignore the issue of abortion. That's what
we're being told by those in Christian leadershipian leadership circles no they'll make a big deal
about abortion especially in january on the anniversary of roe versus wade but
their lifestyle speaks a whole different story
and so jesus is saying to not only to the jewish leaders his day, but the Christian Zion leaders of our day,
fill ye up the measure of your fathers.
Fill it up.
Because you'll persecute those that stand up for righteousness.
You'll persecute those
who will speak the truth.
Now I'll give you an example.
Rick's one of them.
Rick for 20 plus years has been speaking truth, and what
has it got him? Persecution, haranguement, being ostracized from Christian circles.
What did Rick say that caused all this? Well, we spoke out against abortion, we spoke out against
homosexuality, spoke out against gay marriage, we spoke out against Zionism. And because
of that, the Pharisees and scribes of our day have rejected Rick. So Jesus is saying to them today, fill it up. Fill it up. Fill up the
measure of your fathers. Go ahead. Take a big drink. Fill up your bucket. Get the whole combo meal. Get it with an order of fries.
Fill up the measure of your fathers.
Now, it may sound like this is a harsh word coming from me today,
but I don't see how anybody within Christian leadership today, so-called Christian leadership today,
can read Matthew chapter 23 and not feel a twinge
or at least
a pluck at their heartstrings
about how
they are operating in the same
place, the same office of the Pharisees
and scribes.
They'll condemn you.
They'll write you off. They'll deplatform
you for speaking truth
and don't dare
touch the third rail
of the rapture
and the end times
because then
they'll dislike you for a lot of things
but they'll learn to hate you
when you touch that rail.
And so, if it sounds like I'm being a bit harsh and critical, it's because I am.
But I'm not harsh and critical of everybody.
I just believe that there are certain Christian leaders that know what they're teaching
and have abandoned true doctrine in order to appease the Jews.
Finally verse 33, ye serpents, you're a snake.
Think about that.
Ye serpents generation of vipers
you're not just snakes
you're double snakes
ye serpents
ye generation of vipers
how can ye
escape the damnation of hell
how can you escape the damnation of hell?
God has a much higher standard
for those he's put in leadership positions.
Whether it's here in this passage,
you know, the Jewish leaders, the Pharisees and scribes,
or those in our day,
the Christian leaders who are sitting in the office of Pharisees and scribes.
There's an accountability that's going to take place.
There's a balance of the scales that's going to take place.
It may not be today. It may not be today.
It may not be tomorrow.
But it could be the day after tomorrow.
And what is that accountability?
What is that balancing the scales?
What is it?
Jesus tells us right here.
The damnation of hell.
The damnation of hell. The damnation of hell.
You know, hell doesn't scare people anymore, does it?
Hell really doesn't scare people anymore.
Why is that?
Well, because we've made the devil a comic character.
We've made him a character from Hollywood.
We've made hell a place that, you know,
if I do end up in hell, I'll be with my friends and I'll party.
So we've made a cartoon character out of Satan. We've made a fantasy land out of hell. And I see some comments on chat that come from some, the hell is made up. In Jesus' mind, it wasn't made up.
In Jesus' mind, it wasn't a fantasy,
but a very real place.
And the book of Revelation makes it clear
that the lake of fire is a real place
and that there is eternal torment in the flesh.
But Jesus makes a special effort here in this passage in Matthew chapter 23, verse
33. Your destination is hell. Your destination is hell. Because you have robbed the people of salvation.
You have robbed people of salvation.
Praise God.
