Bad boy Biden made a surprise appearance during a U.S. House Oversight Committee hearing about charging him with contempt to Congress. Hunter Biden didn't stay too long, though. He and his lawyers marched out in a huff before Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was about to speak. Rick Wiles is joining us now. Let's start with this article published by the New York Post. Here's the headline coming up here. And here's Rick, the headliner himself. Yeah. Hey, I'm working at home today. My wife, Susan, was in the hospital yesterday for three hours having kidney stones removed. And so I'm staying home with her today, but she's doing fine. Appreciate everybody's prayers for Susan. And so anyhow, and also I can't promise that my neighbor's dog will keep his mouth shut.

He's quiet right now, but about five minutes ago, he was quite noisy. So anyhow, this story about Hunter Biden was a surprise today. The House Oversight Committee was holding a hearing in Washington about charging him with contempt of Congress. And Hunter Biden and his lawyers marched into the hearing and took seats in the spectator section, the gallery. Nobody expected him to be there, but he didn't stay long. Yes. As we're going to see in a few minutes, he and his entourage jumped up and marched out in a huff. So here's the New York Post article. Hunter Biden surprisingly shows up to House contempt where he was given a subpoena. He was required by federal law to appear before the House committee to answer questions about his shady business dealings in China and Ukraine.

He did not show up, but he did show up outside the Capitol building, and he held a press conference, which certainly said he knew how to get to the Capitol building. And, you know, it was an act of defiance where he said, look, I'm going to stand on the outside of the Capitol building and condemn the House committee, but I'm not going in like a regular American citizen and obey the law and be questioned. So that brought us to this place today where they are debating whether to charge him with contempt of Congress, which could end up if he's convicted, he could spend a couple of years in a federal prison on the contempt charge. And apparently all the press were caught flat footed by this.

We have this report by MSNBC when Hunter first arrived at the Capitol building early this morning. We have these live images right now. We see Hunter Biden appearing at the Capitol, just walking through the door. It looks like he's surrounded with his Secret Service team there and other members of his entourage. But he is officially at the Capitol as these hearings get underway. We're looking at live images right now as he goes through, it appears, the metal detector or nearby the metal detectors. And we presumably expect him to enter at least one of these committee rooms because, again, this is before the oversight committee, also action happening in the judiciary committee. We're just going to follow these cameras and Hunter Biden and see where he's going to head, what's going to happen next. Again, he wasn't expected to show up for these hearings from the sense of he wasn't called by the people holding

these hearings to appear. So he's choosing to be there. I want to bring in former assistant Manhattan District Attorney Catherine Christian and federal and white collar criminal defense attorney Caroline Polisi as we continue to watch these images. It appears his attorney, Abby Lowell, is right there alongside him. Ladies, Catherine, what do you think his strategy is here showing up during these hearings as they contemplate a contempt of Congress vote? I think it's his way of saying, I will testify.

I've always said I will testify. I'm not going to do it in secret. I'm going to do it in public. So that to me is his statement that he's making today. He has always said he will testify. He just doesn't want to do it in secret. So it's really hard to argue that he's in contempt because he refused to testify. It's just the forum, secret or in public for everyone to see it. And that's what his attorneys have argued all along, is he's not defying a subpoena. He's just trying to make sure whatever he said in its full context is before the American public to hear so that his fear was that the committee members, Republicans, would kind of splice and dice whatever he said behind closed doors and put out partial transcripts that would

misconstrue the context. Well, I disagree. He is obviously in contempt of Congress. It's not a matter of opinion there or anything else. He refused to obey a committee hearing request to appear before the committee hearing back in December. He did it defiantly. He did it with purpose.

And so no matter how MSNBC tries to spin that, he is definitely in December. He did it defiantly. He did it with purpose. And so no matter how MSNBC tries to spin that, he is definitely in contempt. It's just not a matter of opinion. Right, Rick? Right. And what he did today was a publicity stunt. Maybe the Republicans on the committee should have called his bluff and said, well, now that you're here, you're under arrest. No, no. They should have said, we're going to go into executive session, our original plan, and the public and the reporters have to leave the room and we're going to begin to question you under oath. That's what I would have done if I was in the chairman's position. I would have just called his bluff and said, well, I'm glad you showed up. You know, we'll call off the contempt of Congress resolution because you're here.

We'll just go ahead and close the doors and have the hearing. What Hunter Biden, he doesn't want to have, he doesn't want to be questioned behind closed doors. Now, you have to ask yourself why. What is this about? And because, you know, the January 6th committee had a lot of hearings

behind closed doors. A lot of people had to testify behind closed doors. So I don't know what the, I don't know what Hunter Biden is afraid of. Well, not only were the press caught off guard, MSNBC was the only one that had cameras outside when Hunter Biden showed up, but the committee members were also caught off guard too, so much so that it was actually Marjorie Taylor Greene who captured the video of Hunter Biden coming into the hearing committee

room. Let's watch this. First, to come answer the committee's questions under oath before the American people. This is the same time that they stand by the categorical noncompliance of Republican members of Congress, like Mr. Jordan, who have material information about the violent attack. One moment. The cameras cannot be in the well. Cameras cannot be in the well. Cameras cannot be in the well. No. Proceed, Mr. President.

Thank you. And of course it wasn't too much longer after that that chaos ensued in the committee hearing room. Nancy Mace led the charge in making accusations against Hunter Biden and then there was a lot of back and forth. You're going to see that here in this next clip. First of all, my first question is who bribed Hunter Biden to be here today? That's my first question. Second question, you are the epitome of white privilege coming into the oversight committee, spitting in our face, ignoring a congressional subpoena to be deposed. What are you afraid of? You have no balls to come up here. Mr. Chairman, point of inquiry. Mr. Chairman.

If the gentlelady wants to hear from Hunter Biden, we can hear from him right now, Mr. Chairman. Let's take a vote and hear from Hunter Biden. What are you afraid of? Are women allowed to speak in here? Hold on, hold on, hold on. Order, order, order. Are women allowed to speak in here or no? Are women allowed to speak in here or no? Could you keep interrupting me? I'll interrupt the chairman. I don't know that he's a lady.

I think that Hunter Biden should be arrested right here, right now, and go straight to jail. Our nation is founded on the rule of law. Come on, come on. And the premise that the law applies equally to everyone, no matter what your last name is. Point of order, Mr. Chairman. Point of order. It doesn't matter who you are. Point of order, Mr. Chairman. Point of order. It doesn't matter who you are. Point of order, Mr. Chairman.

Biggs over here. Donald Trump Jr. Biggs over here. State your point, Mr. President. My point of order is this. Are we going to continue on with this blatant interruption? This is absurd and inappropriate. I intend to give my statement.

I don't intend to have anybody interrupt it. I'm not going to interrupt your statements. I think you should have decorum and courtesy and don't act like a bunch of nimrods. You just interrupted a woman. And that's five. I got permission. Can we agree? Everyone has five minutes. Can we agree? Point of order again. The assertion that I interrupted was absolutely false. That's typical of the gentleman who spoke it. I got permission to speak from the chairman. I spoke. I was interrupted yet again by the gentleman who doesn't choose to go through the chair and follow proper order. I encourage us.

I think if we're going to have any respect at all, we need to have proper decorum. Well said. So as you can see, chaos was the result of Hunter Biden's appearance as if there wasn't enough drama that was being generated. I'm starting to think the MSNBC knew that he was going to be there. I think so, too. They just happened to have their reporters with cameras at the door. And I think the Democratic committee members knew. Yes.

And because the one member said, well, now that Hunter's here, let's have him sworn in, give his testimony. That was the purpose of the stunt. It was to def, it was to defy the committee majority and say, we're going to do it our way, not your way. Right. And,

uh, so anyhow, it eventually just absolutely, you know, it blew up. It, it, it turned into a circus and, uh, Hunter eventually just absolutely, you know, it blew up. It turned into a circus.

And Hunter Biden and his team, I don't know who that one guy was seated next to him. Do you recognize him? I think it's that one lawyer from California that is helping to finance him and everything. The guy that's paying his taxes? Yes. I can't recall his name off the top of my head. But I think that's him. Now, of course, you have all this drama going on.

And then to add another layer of drama, Marjorie Taylor Greene started to question Hunter Biden. And he walked out the door. Watch this. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Excuse me, Hunter. Apparently, you're afraid of my words. Whoa! Whoa!

Oh! I like to reclaim my time, Mr. Chairman. Wow, that's too bad. I think it's clear and obvious for everyone watching this hearing today that Hunter Biden is terrified of strong conservative Republican women. Because he can't even face my words as I was about to speak to him. What a coward. And this is also a coward that sat right here in front of Mickey Babbitt, Ashley Babbitt's mother, who was murdered on January 6th by Michael Byrd,

the Capitol Police officer. And you want to talk about a committee, a political sham. I'll totally disagree with you, Ms. Mace. That January 6th committee was not bipartisan. It was a complete setup to go after President Trump, go after Republicans, go after anyone that believes in free and fair elections, people that believe the Department of Justice should be fair and balanced, not a political weaponized department of the federal government that is targeting President Trump,

his supporters, people that walked in the Capitol on January 6th, and now people that stood outside the Capitol. There's been no justice for Ashley Babbitt's family. Michael Byrd has never been charged with anything. He was let off and he was given a promotion and allowed to walk free. And Hunter Biden just walked out. That is an example of not following the law. Hunter Biden thinks he's above the law. Don Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka,

Trump family members had to come in to Democrat subpoenas and be questioned by Democrats for over eight hours each of them. Hunter Biden runs away. Hunter Biden did not come when we subpoenaed him. He did not follow the law. And then one of our colleagues helped him evade his subpoena by going and reserving a press conference for him on his behalf, helped him evade the subpoena by going and reserving a press conference for him on his behalf, helped him evade the subpoena, helped Hunter Biden break the law. What a day. Yeah, that was one that caught us off guard a little bit too today.

I didn't see that one coming. But it just adds another layer of the drama in there. And Representative Greene did make a good point that the, you know, Eric and Donald Jr. of the Trump family and Ivanka Trump, they all testified before Congress in obedience to the subpoena. If any of them had done exactly what Hunter Biden had done, they would have been held in contempt and there would have been a warrant issued for their arrest. It's just really that simple. Now the story is that he has prostate cancer. And even President Biden didn't know about the prostate cancer until guess what, Rick? Yesterday. Right. Yesterday. This is from the Hill. President Biden learned of Defense Secretary Austin's prostate cancer diagnosis Tuesday. You know when he should have known about it, Rick?
