Republicans have strong reactions to the Biden COVID mandate. Communist China claims most of the South China Sea, including the Spratly Islands. But Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia have Navy's destroyer, the USS Benfold, sailed past the Mischief Reef near the Spratly Islands. The mission was part of the U.S. Navy's Freedom of Navigation operation. Mischief Reef is located 250 kilometers from the Philippines. China responded by deploying fighter jets and angrily lashing out at America. Today, China threatened to go a step further in its confrontation with the USA over control of the seas. Doc Burkhardt and I will tell you about Beijing's threat. Plus, we'll discuss the reaction to Joe Biden's national vaccination mandate.

Hey, Doc. Yes, sir. Well, China, obviously getting a little hot under the collar now. You can see the the rhetoric is getting more heated. Yes. More direct. And so we're going to show you what prompted this threat today. Of course, the U.S. Navy ship sailing by the Spratlys of all the islands, mischief, mischief reef. They're creating mischief by going by the mischief island. So the Global Times, which is a communist-controlled newspaper, published this editorial today. China won't accept U.S. hegemonic acts in the South China Sea. This is an editorial by the China Times.

Whatever's in the China Times is the opinion of the China Communist Party. Yes, they're just broadcasting out there for an English audience. Right, it's kind of like, you know, if it's on CNN, it is the official policy of the China Communist Party. Okay. It's kind of that way. Yeah, kind of like that.

So let's read what the editorial said in the Global Times. So it says, simply telling the truth to in the Global Times. So it says, Simply telling the truth to the U.S. is not enough for China. China needs to take active actions and speed up the establishment of its ability to conduct close-in reconnaissance operations on the above-mentioned bases and coastlines.

The rapid development of China's Blue Water Navy has made this possible. Only by making the U.S. have a taste of its own medicine can we touch the nerves of the U.S. and its allies and reshape the Western world's understanding of U.S. bullying in the South China Sea. The U.S. has deliberately provoked disputes in the South China Sea, and it must in turn endure the PLA's increasingly strong countermeasures against it. The game between the two sides will continue to go to an extreme.

The U.S. will definitely see the PLA show up at its doorstep, that's something to really think about there, in the not-too-distant future. And together with China, the U.S. will face the uncertainty, which is increasingly difficult to control. The two sides' warships and aircraft on the seas will carry carry huge mutual strategic hostility and the two countries will not yield to each other. If the situation goes on like this there will sooner or later be an incident between China and the US in the South China Sea. The US is the greatest threat to peace in the South China Sea, and it may eventually ruin the peace in the region.

This is not just alarmist talk. While China is competing with the U.S. at sea, it must also make preparations for military frictions when the two sides fail to control their disputes, as well as the possible large-scale military conflicts afterwards. Once the situation gets out of control and triggers military clashes between China and the U.S., we must give full play to our home field advantage. China will definitely win once there is a war. So they're making it pretty clear there, aren't they, Rick? Doc, this is a, I mean, it's really chilling. Let's go to the second slide. And so I want to zoom in on the U.S. will definitely see the PLA show up at its doorstep in the not too distant future. Right. Now, that's taking a whole different meaning there.

In other words, it seems to me like it's saying they are no longer going to be confining themselves to the South China Sea. The U.S. doesn't confine itself to the waters of, you know, off San Diego or anything or around Pearl Harbor. So we're going to see Chinese warships. First of all, the closest for China, obviously, is Guam and Hawaii. Right.

After that, it's Californiaam and Hawaii. Right. After that, it's California. Yes. So if you live on the West Coast, get ready, be prepared. There are going to be Chinese warships patrolling the West Coast of the USA. Think about that. How will Americans react to that, Rick, if they see that? IF THEY SEE THAT. LET'S SAY IF THEY SEE A CHINESE WARSHIP PASSING BY HONOLULU OR PASSING BY SAN DIEGO, WILL

AMERICANS REACT TO THAT? THE CHINESE ARE GOING TO GET AS CLOSE TO THE LINE IN THE WATER AS THEY CAN GET. IMMITATING THE U.S.? YES. THEY WILL KEEP IT LEGAL, BUT THOSE CHINESE WARSHIPS WILL

BE ABLE TO GET TO THE LINE IN THE WATER. they can get. I think... Imitating the U.S. Yes. Yes. They will keep it legal, but those Chinese warships will straddle the boundary line and get as close as they can possibly get and try to provoke a reaction from the USA. Now, I'm not defending China in it, but would... I mean, we do that. The U.S. does it. We do it all over the world. We do it in the Ukraine. We do it in the South China Sea.

Basically, we say we own the oceans, right? China is a rising naval power. They are building ships as fast as they can. There's going to come a time in the near future where there is obviously going to be a naval race, if you will. Let's go to the third slide because they talk about it. If the situation goes on like this, there will sooner or later be an incident between China and the U.S. in the South China Sea. Now, when they say an incident, what comes to my mind is there's going to be a naval confrontation. Right. Not a full out, you know, all out war, but a confrontation between two ships. An incident. Something that makes the whole world sit up and go, oh, that was close.

That got heated. And then it says, while China is comparing, excuse me, is competing with the U.S. at sea. It must also make preparations for military frictions when the two sides fail to control their disputes. As well as the possible large scale military conflicts afterwards. So we've got three things happening here. China says there's going to be an incident. That's where, you know, Doc, I shove you and you shove me. Or you cross a line I said you couldn't cross. Right. And you get up in my face and we stare at each other like two tomcats.

And then something happens. Yes. So the next one, so you have incidents, then conflicts, then war. Yes. When we get to the war stage, we're talking about nuclear, biological, chemical warfare. And that's what China said today in that editorial. And who do we have as commander in chief? We have a man. Susan Rice.

Susan Rice. We have a man that's owned by China. Yes. Yeah, he had a phone call with Xi Jinping. Another one? Yes. This is the second one. When did that happen?

Either it happened late yesterday or earlier today. He had a phone call with Xi Jinping. And it said to Xi. Was he congratulating congratulating him for the vaccination mandate? I don't know about that, but Joe Biden did say that we have no intention of disrupting the current one China policy. So basically, he said we are not going to interfere with that at all. Okay, so Xi Jinping called Joe Biden to tell him, get out of Taiwan. Basically, yes. We're prepared to fight. All right, so here we go.

You got incidents, conflicts, war. China made a statement today. This came out at the same time Xi Jinping made a phone call to Joe Biden. Right. But Xi Jinping isn't afraid of Joe Biden because he owns Joe Biden. He could bring Joe Biden down any day he wants to by simply leaking the documents. The documents that will impugn him, not just Hunter, but him. That's right.

So if he wanted to completely wreck the American political system, all Xi Jinping has to do is release documents. And Hunter Biden and Joe Biden are out of the picture and should be in prison. The U.S., do you remember a month or two ago, Doc, we talked about, you know, what is the jurisdiction of the U.S. Coast Guard? Well, I always thought, or at least when I was growing up, I always thought the Coast Guard, they were service the coast of the U.S. Of the U.S. The U.S. Coast Guard. Yes.

Guard the coast of the U.S. But apparently they have a much more expanded mission because I guess the U.S. coast extends as far as the Ukraine all the way to the South China Sea. Well, I think what you just said is actually the attitude of the U.S. Navy. Yes. If the Coast Guard is in the Western Pacific, then the U.S. Navy. Yes. If the Coast Guard is in the Western Pacific, then the U.S. Navy is telling China our coast

butts up against your coast. Yes. Because here we see U.S. Navy news, U.S. Coast Guard continues to expand, expand its presence in the Western Pacific. Not just made a visit, it's expanding the presence of the U.S. Coast Guard, which means it's not leaving the Western Pacific. Now, at one time, the U.S. Coast Guard used to be within the Commerce

Department, right? At one time. And then it's only been here within the past, maybe in the past decade, maybe sooner than that, that it got transferred over to the Department of Defense. It would be activated for the Department of Defense any time we were at war. But now I guess it's within the Department of Defense all the time. And why was the Coast Guard in the Commerce Department? Because it was basically the Coast Guard was started to fight pirates, you know, that were attacking our ships and our coast and not paying the British disguised as pirates and not paying the duties. Yes. It really was about

the money, the taxes. Yes. Because that's how the federal government was funded back then. It didn't take money from citizens. It took money from pirates and funded the government, which I kind of like that plan myself. And so instead they became the pirates. There were so many pirates who were smuggling goods into the United States and nobody was paying duties on it. Right. And that's why the U.S. government created the Coast Guard to go after the pirates and the smugglers to collect the money. So is the Coast Guard doing the same thing now? Are we going around the world collecting the money now? That's a good point.

It's something we should ask. It's this attitude, Rick, that the oceans of the world belong to the United States. And I think we have to be realistic and understand China has the capability to outbuild us at any time in ships. We wouldn't be able to keep up with that. And they know that. And they also have bold plans on the Belt and Road Initiative. And when you think of Belt and Road, you just think of roads, bridges, railways. But an essential part of the Belt and Road Initiative are seaways that China intends to protect. Seaways going through the Western Pacific, the Indian Ocean, and going into the Atlantic as well. And so they plan to, listen, the U.S. protects its interests, right? That's our justification for blowing up stuff. Will China make that same justification?

They learned from us, and they will say, you know, we're going to protect our interests too. We've got to protect the seaways. And so I think it's something we really need to think about, that that conflict is going to happen at some point. They just told us today in that editorial, you know, tomorrow's the 20th anniversary of September 11, how this country has changed in 20 years. We're deep into the national security deep state, and our freedoms have been taken away, and the country's been changed forever. But, Doc, for the last 20 years, America has spent trillions of dollars, trillions, fighting Israel's wars in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya. And if Israel would get its way, we'd fight one more, Iran.

But while the American taxpayers were drained of trillions of dollars, which we did not have, we had to borrow the money. Right. And who do we borrow from? Our grandchildren. Yes, that's the correct answer. But we were borrowing it from foreign governments like China. We were buying our bonds. Yes.

And so we went in debt to foreign countries. But while we went in debt to fight Israel's wars, China expanded its navy. Yes. And built the Belt and Road Network. We were spending trillions of dollars fighting a war for another country, Israel. And during those 20 years, we gave China a pass to go build its military, expand its infrastructure. And here we are now in 2021, and we have a weak, senile old man in the White House who is owned by the Chinese. This is the state that we're in. And we lost Afghanistan.

We abandoned Americans in Afghanistan. By the way, I wonder if Joe Biden's vaccination mandate, if it covers the Americans that he abandoned in Afghanistan. Well, I guess if they're federal employees, they would have to get vaccinated if they're stuck in Afghanistan or if they're troops or if they're health care workers. So they have to get vaccinated. And so, hey, before we take a break, I want to show you another story I saw today. This is out of Russia. And this is Maria Zakharova. She's the press secretary for the Russian foreign ministry. And the headline in TASS says Moscow expects U.S. embassy to support real reason for Ambassador Sullivan's summoning. He was brought in to the foreign ministry and read the riot act, but the U.S. State Department put out a different story

about why he was at the foreign ministry. So this caught my attention. Moscow expects the U.S. embassy to tell the American people the real reason the ambassador was called in to the foreign ministry. Now, the cover story that they put out was that he was called to discuss bilateral relations, you know, that are we getting along OK? That's what diplomats always do, bilateral relations. But as Paul Harvey used to say, there's the rest of the story. So as it turns out, Ambassador Sullivan was called in by Moscow because Russia had concerns that digital giants, the tech giants, were possibly trying to manage the elections in Russia. Now think about that.

The Russians were concerned that their elections were going to be hacked. Yes. We've got a quote from the TASS story. Russia expects the U.S. Embassy in Moscow will report the true reason for the summoning of Ambassador John Sullivan to the Foreign Ministry, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in her Telegram channel Friday, I've seen three different reasons for the summoning of the U.S. envoy to the Russian Foreign Ministry. Actually, the Foreign Ministry did the summoning,

and the Foreign Ministry knows the true reason for it, Zakharova said. There is only one reason, the interference in the Russian elections. We hope this is what the U.S. diplomats will report back to Washington, not what the U.S. embassy said in its detached from reality press release. Earlier, the U.S. embassy claimed that Sullivan was summoned to the ministry to discuss bilateral relations and Joe Biden's intent for stable and predictable relations with Moscow. So Russia was concerned that their election was going to be hacked. Why? Because they just saw another election that was hacked a few months earlier. By digital giants in the

United States. Yes. In fact, this next story is number seven. Okay, so there's the article from Navasti. And then here's a quote from that article. It said, during the conversation, it was emphasized that the Russian side possesses irrefutable evidence of violations of Russian legislation by American digital giants in the context of the preparation and conduct of elections to the state Duma, the foreign ministry said. In other words, they've got the goods. They're congressional elections. They're Duma. That's their Congress. The elections are coming up Duma. That's their Congress. The elections are

coming up next week. Yes. So the Russian government is saying we've called American technology companies meddling in our election. They didn't say what they were doing. They just said we called the ambassador in and told him we've caught you. One other story before we get into the COVID, this is a number eight from the last segment. The Taliban executed last night the former vice president, the brother, the brother of the former vice president, Saleh. Well, it's because they're

so diverse, I guess, right? Yes, they killed him because they had to make room for somebody with more diversity. But this shows you the barbaric nature of the people that are in control of Afghanistan right now. So the brother of the former vice president was taken out into the desert and shot. And Jen Psaki is saying that we deal with the Taliban on a businesslike approach.

Yeah, sure. This is their business, just so you know. This is how they operate in business. All right, so let's go to President Biden's vaccination mandate, something he has no constitutional authority to do. If people rise up against this, start filing the lawsuits, start defying it, it will never stand. A lot of big corporations wanted him to do this. They wanted the legal cover. It's an illegal legal cover, an illegitimate legal cover,

because it's not legal. It's not constitutional. But the big corporations privately were telling the White House, if you will mandate it, we will enforce it. But we're not going to enforce it without you mandating it. So the big corporations already today, you see Amazon, other companies came out and congratulated President Biden for this mandate. And they said, we will absolutely support the president in implementing this mandate. They wanted it done all along. But what did Joe Biden say in December of 2020, before he was sworn in in that fake inauguration where he was surrounded by military

troops in barbed wire to keep the adoring public away from him. And remember that strange, bizarre inauguration day? Well, let's listen to what he said at a press conference in Delaware, December 2020. At this time, he's still the president-elect. This is when he was asked about, would you mandate vaccinations? This is what Joe Biden said. Would you mandate to be mandatory? No, I don't think it should be mandatory. I wouldn't demand to be mandatory, but I would do everything in my power.

Just like I don't think masks have to be made mandatory nationwide i'll do everything in my power as president united states to encourage people to do the right thing and when they do it demonstrate that it matters and not to be left alone just a few months ago april of this year speaker Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi waddled out to a podium and also basically said the same thing. We are not going to mandate vaccinations for the members of the House. She said we can't. We can't do it, is what she said. She didn't say we won't. Pelosi said we can't do it. And just for the record, this is what she said.

We covered a lot of topics this morning on CBS. I want to ask about something that didn't come up about the House itself. Roughly, two questions. Roughly, what percentage of the House do you think is fully vaccinated right now? And then second, there has been some pushback, there's been some pushback from both the right and the left about requiring social distancing and fully masked participants last night. Why not consider something like requiring that everyone be fully vaccinated? Why require masks at a time when public health officials want the message to be about vaccination? Well, public health officials still are encouraged wearing masks in drawers. But your question is an excellent one that should be made to every member of Congress.

We are guided by the Capitol attending physician and the Sergeant in Arms, but the science demands how we can, why we have masks on still. With more, as you rightly point out, with more vaccinations, we should be able to have shorter shorter period of time for voting so that if we're all vaccinated, still with a mask inside, but nonetheless. Perhaps when we are speaking would be a time we could, as you did, take down the mask. But so far, that's not what we can do. So here's the thing. We cannot require someone to be vaccinated. That's just not what we can do. It is a matter of privacy to know who is or who isn't. I can't go to the capital physician and say, give me the names of people who aren't

vaccinated so I can go encourage them or make it known to others to encourage them to be vaccinated. So we can't do that. So what changed, Rick? Months ago, no, we're not going to do vaccine mandates. No, we can't do vaccine mandates. So what changed yesterday? Did they find something that said they could do it, or did they just pull it out of the air? They pulled it out of the air. They know they can't do it, but they're going to try.

And just like the CDC doesn't have the power to tell landlords that they can't collect rent or that they can't evict tenants who aren't paying their rent, haven't paid their rent for over a year. CDC doesn't have any authority to do that. Of course not. Right. But that happened under President Trump. Yes. Don't forget that. The CDC made that ruling under the Trump administration. Now, recently, a court told the CDC that they didn't have the power,

but they allowed them to continue with it for, yeah. Because they'd already started, so. They'd already started, so. So, you know, the Biden administration is, they're just gambling that by the time people get lawsuits together and opposition is organized, they'll have, most of the workers will be

vaccinated by the time any opposition forms. That's what they're really going for. They're playing a long game. What does it matter six months from now if a court rules they don't have the authority to do it and all these workers have been vaccinated against their will? They don't care. That's right. They accomplished what they got to accomplish.

They'll get what they wanted to do. In New York City, the communist mayor, de Blasio, implemented a vaccine passport. And he says that you can't enter a restaurant or a barbershop or any establishment without showing your vaccine passport. This man on the left, he's happy. He's sitting there in that bar and he's got his vaccine passport. This man on the left, he's happy. He's sitting there in that bar, and he's got his vaccine passport. He's a happy camper. Or is he? He could be working for de Blasio, right? He may be a plant, because the New York Post is reporting that de Blasio is sending city workers

as snitches to go into restaurants to see if they were required to show their vaccine passport. So he's he's organizing the city employees into an army of snitches. That's right. That's exactly what it is. And if this works on the New York level, imagine what they can do on a federal level. What Joe Biden could do, he could say to federal workers, the entire York level, imagine what they can do on a federal level, what Joe Biden could do. He could say to federal workers, the entire federal workforce, if you go into a business and they're not complying, let us know. We'll send the enforcement agent over. Do you remember what Wacky Whitmer in Michigan was doing last year? I guess maybe even the

beginning of this year? She required Michigan restaurants to write down the name and address of diners and turn it into the government name, address and phone number. Yes. And there were a lot of restaurant owners who did it. They just rolled over and complied. Some of some of the Republicans in Washington are are outraged and speaking out. This one, and this story is coming out of the Jerusalem Post. And the Israeli newspapers are angry that Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene compared the vaccine mandate to the post-World War II Nuremberg Code. You can't do that, can you? Yeah, you can. I have freedom of speech. Well, sure, you have freedom of speech, but by their rules, you can't do that. They own any conversations

about the Nuremberg Code. No, they don't. No, they don't. We've got to stop letting them tell us what words we can say and so congresswoman marjorie taylor green put out this tweet so she said i introduced house resolution 2317 we will not comply act to stop discrimination in the workplace from vaccine mandates because i saw this coming we don't take orders from fascists spelling in in my office. Remember the Nuremberg Code, Joe? By law, we have a right to choose to participate or not. I'm glad she brought up the Nuremberg Code because the needle Nazis are modern fascists, and they are violating the Nuremberg Code, and they are guilty of committing crimes against humanity.

Right. Basically, experimentation on human beings. Right. That's what's at the core of the Nuremberg Code. Doc, in the 30s and early 40s, the German establishment flat out believed that what they were doing was legal. Well, they did make it legal. And basically they would say,

trust the science too, right? That's right. Sound familiar? Well, another Republican as a candidate for the U.S. Senate in Ohio, happens to be Jewish. And here again is the Times of Israel reporting on this story. Jewish Ohio Senate candidate compares Biden's vaccine mandate to the Gestapo. And I was very impressed.

I read the story and very impressed with this young man, Josh Mandel. I don't know who all is running for the Senate in Ohio, but just a little bit that I know right now about Josh Mandel, I'd probably vote for him. Right. He's a military veteran and he's, you know, very outspoken as it relates to the vaccine mandates. We have a clip of him. This is a candidate for Ohio Senate, Josh Mandel. Hey guys, it's Thursday night, September 9th. I'm driving through Western Ohio. We're driving through a cornfield here in a town called Logansville, Ohio.

My blood is boiling, enraged at what I've seen from the White House today. Trampling on our freedom, trampling on our liberty, trampling on what I took an oath to defend when I joined the Marine Corps. Joe Biden, I'm not even going to call him President Biden, he's not. Joe Biden is creating a constitutional crisis. And as I was driving through this cornfield, I literally came across this sign, this Trump sign. He is my president. And I am hoping and praying that the Supreme Court justices that he appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court

will do the right thing and stand up for the Constitution, stand up for our freedom, stand up for our liberty. And if they don't, I call on my fellow Americans, do not comply. Do not comply with the tyranny. And when the Gestapo show up at your front door, you know what to do. Now, he shouldn't have used that word Gestapo, Rick, because the American Jewish Committee came out today and said, now, Mr. Mandel, your remarks were disgraceful and hateful. So here's a Jewish candidate for the Ohio Senate.

You disagree with the left, they put a label on you, they smear you. The next one is really shocking. This is a video from Israel, an Israeli mom. She is the mother of a young woman who is serving in the Israeli Defense Force, Israel drafts both young men and women. It's a mandatory compulsory military service regardless of your gender. And so her daughter just recently joined the IDF. This, we're almost, we have enough time to get through this? We'll make the time. We'll make the time, okay.

Where are the soldiers down during the day? 16, 18 hours of training or whatever they're involved with during the day. But why should it shock you that the IDF would, you know, pull them out of the beds at two in the morning and say, you have to get vaccinated? Because it was a psychological ploy.

Yes. exhausted these young men and women throughout the day, and then burst into their barracks at 2 a.m. and gave them one minute to get dressed and then ordered them to be vaccinated. They're staying there. They're in shock. They're exhausted. They just got to sleep. They don't know what's going on. And they're in their nightclothes. And you got you got a general. You got a general in your barracks ordering you to be vaccinated. This one young Israeli woman stood up to them and said, look, I just I just recovered from Corona. I've got antibodies. I don't need a vaccine. But I have a feeling this is what Biden and Austin are going to do to the U.S. troops.

Yes. After all, we hold the IDF in such esteem and regard. They're the model for us, right? I mean, they're the ones that, you know, we're not quite as good as the IDF. So they're going to be the ones that set the standard for it. In fact, they might be testing this, watching this and saying, hey, the IDF is on to something here. Let's implement it here. Will they pull U.S. soldiers out of their bunks two or three in the morning and force them to be vaccinated? And will they resist, is the question. We're going to pick up with our Bible study on the parable of the sower. We didn't get to it yesterday because of President Biden's press conference, which happened during our Godcast. But we have a lot more we want to share. By the way, if you are a viewer to the live stream, and not video on demand, but the live stream, starting today, we are disabling the online chat feature because you shouldn't be chatting while we're teaching the word of God. It's just as simple as that. It's rude.

It's not rude to just Doc and me. It's rude to the Lord. It's rude to the Holy Spirit. So we're not going to allow the chat. We want you to listen. We want you to pay attention. We want you to be focused. And we don't want trolls in the chat rooms distracting people.

So no more chat during the live stream when we're teaching the word of God. We need to give reverence and respect to the Lord. This is his word. All right. So where I think we need to pick up is Jesus' explanation of the parable. Yes. So we'll start with Matthew 13, verses 3 through 9. All right.

So if you've got your Bibles, open them up there. And he spake many things unto them in parables. This is the parable itself, Rick. And so, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow. And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up. Some fell upon stony places where they had not much earth. And forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth. And when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they withered away. Some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up and choked them. But other fell into good ground and brought forth fruit, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirtyfold.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Okay, so we have four main characters in this parable. The sower, the seed, the soil, and the yield. Right. The harvest. The sower, the seed, the soil, and the yield. Right. The harvest. Those are the four main players in this parable. Jesus, he didn't identify himself, but he is the sower.

He's the king. He's the sower. The field is his. Right. Anytime he talks about a field and a sower in a parable, field is the world and jesus owns it it's his field he's not sharing it with satan he owns the field so the the king the sower scatters seed to produce a harvest for the kingdom. That's the purpose of the sowing. He desires a harvest, a yield for his kingdom. That is the only reason he's sowing. Yes. Is to get a harvest for his kingdom. A farmer who sows seed in his field has one thing on his mind. The harvest. The harvest.

He's not doing it as a charity. No, he's not doing it just to watch plants grow. He's doing it because he expects there to be a yield, that he puts something in the ground and something comes out of the ground in a much bigger way than went in. So Jesus talked about the seed and its relationship with the soil to produce a harvest for the kingdom and the yield was dependent on the nature of the soil where the seed was sown now without Jesus's explanation our carnal, Doc, we would conclude that the parable teaches us that the yield, the harvest, is that it depends on the nature of the soil.

A lot of people think this parable is about the soil. But it's not. It's not about the soil. But it's not. It's not about the soil. You know, whether it's on the soils on rocky ground, thorny places, or hardened path, it's not about the soil. So let's put Matthew 13, 18 through 23 up on the screen there. So this is Jesus' explanation here. Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, that's Satan, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart.

This is he which receives seed by the wayside. But he that receiveth the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon which he receiveth it. Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, by and by he is offended.

He also that receives seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word, and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth some a hundred, some sixty, and some thirty. So that's Jesus' explanation there. And as you said, the natural mind focuses on the soil.

The soil. And we also, in our natural mind, we think that the seed is the word of God. Now get ready, all right? Don't throw anything at me. Don't say, Rick, where in the world did you come up with this crazy doctrine? Just hear me out, okay?

I'm about to say something to you. It's going to blow up in your mind, in your soul. And if you'll just pray about it and think about it it's going to change your relationship with the lord it's going to deepen your relationship with the lord and it's going to change your life in this world let's put let's put the scripture back up again because you got to walk through this. He also. Is this 18? Yes. Okay.

He hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. All right. When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. Here it is. This is he which receives seed by the wayside. But he that received the seed into stoning places, the same is he that heareth the word.

Doc, this parable is about people. It's the seed and the people. You can't separate the seed, the word, and the people. The sower is Jesus, and he is sowing. He is sowing people into the world. Yes. You've got to get this. We're the seed.

We're the seed. You and I are the seed. We're the good seed. This isn't about tares. Right. All of the seed here is good seed. Yes. Get this in your spirit.

In the parable of the tares, there's two types of seed. Right. There's the wheat and the tares. Jesus sows the wheat, the good seed. Satan sows the tares, the weeds. In this parable, all the seed are good seed. They are Christians. Yes. They are people who have heard the word of God. And it's Jesus who is sowing people into his field, the world.

Doc, he sowed me into this place. And he expects a harvest. And he expects a harvest. Then he sowed you here. Years later, God called me into this in 1998. He called you in what year? 2014. 2014. So in 2014, the Lord sowed Doc Burkhart into this field. Where has the Lord sown you?

What part of his field did he sow you in? Now, once you understand that you are the seed. You are the seed that has received the word. You are the seed. The word of God is in you. You are the seed. Yeah. What the harvest that you produce is dependent on the condition of your heart.

Yes. Ouch. Now, churchianity today teaches that the seed is the Word. Okay. That's what I always heard, Doc. Yes, I know. I was taught it from the very beginning. But when you read the parable, it's very clear. And you have to tie it in with the parable of the wheat and the tares to fully understand you as a believer are the seed in this parable. There's an expectation that once you're planted into this world, that you are to produce a harvest. That harvest is dependent upon you as a believer on whether or not you receive that.

Let's put the scripture back up again, 13. Okay. This is he which received the seed, but he that received the seed in a stony place is the same as he that heareth the word. And anon with joy receiveth it, yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while. For when tribulation and persecution arises because of the word, by and by he is offended. The emphasis is on the person. The seed is the word of God that is placed into you. You are the one that Jesus sows into his field. Now, Paul said, Apostle Paul said that all creation groaneth and is in pain

because it's because of the sin that's in the world. He said all creation is groaning, moaning in pain. Like a woman in labor. Yes. That's the way he described it. It's because the creation that God made, this planet, the cosmos, it's infected with sin. It's a virus brought into creation by Satan who tempted man with sin. It is causing pain in the cosmos, causing pain in the world, in the field. God, Doc, what Jesus does, he sows you. He finds a place where there's pain. He finds a place where there's pain in the world, in his creation. He sows doc burkhart yes into that place that hurts to do what to bring forth a harvest how do you bring forth a harvest you go into the place of the world where there's pain where there's suffering where there's death and disease and depression and hatred and everything else that Satan has brought to this

world. And you have the word in you. You're the seed with the word. And Jesus sows you into that part of the world that's hurting. And your responsibility is to produce a harvest for him, which means bringing healing, deliverance, salvation to the people that are in that part of the field where he sowed you. Once you get this in your head, this becomes revolutionary. Now, so whose responsibility is it on the soil, the condition of the soil? Is it the seed that's sown? No, it's the seed that was sown. The condition that he describes, the hard place, the rocky place, the thorny place, that's...

Yeah, because it sounds like what always confused me as a younger believer was that, all right, you had a sower. What's he throwing seed on rocks for? What's he throwing it in stony places for? A smart sower doesn't do that. And so with understanding the parable this way, you understand that's the responsibility of the seed that was sown. Yes. We can change the condition of where we are sown. Not the place where we're sown, the condition. If you have a stony heart, it's not Jesus' fault. Right. If you have thorns in your life, you can't say it's God's fault I have thorns, and the thorns are choking out the word.

If the birds come and pick up the seed, that's not Jesus' fault either. And the birds represent who? Satan. That's right. Every time you see a bird in a parable, it means Satan. Yes. It means devils. So this puts all of the responsibility on us.

We are the good seed. He is the good seed sower. He's sowing us into the world. He sows us into the specific place of his field where he desires us to bring forth a harvest 30 fold, 60 fold, a hundred fold. It has nothing to do with the amount of money that you give in the kingdom and in the return. I've heard that for decades. You know, give a thousand dollars and it's going to come back to you 30 times, 60 times, 100. That is absolutely has nothing to do with this parable. The harvest 30, 60, 100 is salvations of souls, deliverance of people, the healing of people. And you bring a greater harvest when the word is growing in you and producing a harvest.
