The issue is the White House auto pen.
I'm Doc Burkhart.
Rick will join us here in just a moment.
This is True News for Monday, March 17, 2025.
Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's news by looking at this CBS News article,
as you can see here.
CBS News is reporting that Donald Trump claims Biden's pardons of January 6 committee members
are void and vacant because they were allegedly signed with an auto-pin. President Biden had signed the
full and unconditional pardon for any offenses arising from the committee's activities on January
19th, one day before he left office in the White House. Others who received preemptive pardons were
Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired General Mark Milley, and several Biden family members. Donald Trump had this to say on his Truth Social account.
The pardons that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the unselected committee of political thugs
and many others are hereby declared void, vacant, and of no further force or effect
because of the fact that they were done by auto-pin.
In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them, but more importantly, he did not know anything
about them.
The necessary pardoning documents were not explained to or approved by Biden.
He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime.
Therefore those on the unselect committee who destroyed and deleted all evidence obtained
during their two-year witch hunt of me and many other innocent people should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level.
The fact is they were probably responsible for the documents that were signed on their
behalf without the knowledge or consent of the worst president in the history of our
country, crooked Joe Biden.
Joining me from his studio is Rick Wallace.
Hey Rick.
Hey Doc, what a way to start a Monday.
Yes, absolutely.
I'm in my my other studio, which is where I use for morning
manna. And I'm self isolating myself. Over the weekend, I had
a lot of congestion. I don't know if it was a cold or just allergies, a lot
of pollen in the air right now. So just out of respect for the staff I stayed isolated in my
office all day and I'm about one molecule away from being a hermit. But anyhow I'm feeling okay. It's just my voice is rough.
No fever, nothing, you know, so it might just be allergies. So, but just to be careful, I didn't want to come down there and sit next to you, doc.
Well, thank you, Rick.
All right.
Yeah.
Cause we're, we're, that's a really snug little tight, um, corner where we
operate with true news.
Yes.
Okay, let's talk about Mr. Trump's very bold, unexpected action.
I'm glad he did it.
First of all, what he's doing, he's setting this up to go to the Supreme Court.
Absolutely.
And there are a number of issues here. Can you
have a preemptive pardon? That's the first thing. That's the first one. Right. Can you pardon somebody
for a crime that they were never charged with? And can you backdate it? Can you go back to 2014?
And can you backdate it? Can you go back to 2014 like he did with Dr. Fauci?
So if Dr. Fauci committed terrible crimes in 2014 and 15, you can't hold him responsible
for it.
Same thing with Hunter Biden too.
He updated it back to 2014 as well.
Okay, so those I really believe are secondary issues.
The primary issue, and Donald Trump is on to it, he's got something that he knows that
he's not telling us yet.
And that is Joe Biden didn't know about these pardons.
Joe Biden didn't approve them. and it gets bigger than that. See, the
auto pen, the automatic signing of an executive's name. I don't use an auto pen.
I don't want anybody on my staff signing my name to legal documents. I
just don't want it, okay? I know the times. I'm not there and I can get a
you know I may get a call can we go ahead and affix your your signature to
the document? Yes, I'm aware of it. You've asked me. And it's best to have a paper trail that says there was a request,
the request was approved, it was one-time use of this document. Doc, I believe the real story here
is that Joe Biden was clueless for four years. That's it. That's the the hitch right there,
I believe as well, Rick, because previous
presidents have used auto pins. I mean, it goes all the way back to Harry Truman. And so that's
not really the issue, even though I have a problem with it. I don't think any executive order should
be signed with an auto pin. But that's my opinion. But the real issue is did Joe Biden know that these orders were signed on his behalf?
That's the issue.
That's at stake here.
So what would Colombo do?
He would keep asking questions, which is what Donald Trump is doing right now.
And what would Colombo be asking questions about?
He's going to find out the chain of custody.
Yes.
Who had control of the auto pen for four years?
Right.
That's the first thing you find out who was in control of it.
And number two, did Joe Biden authorize signatures? Is there any proof that he knew his name was being affixed to documents?
I don't think he knows anything that he signed.
So what we have here is the beginnings of evidence of what we suspected for four years
that the White House was run by a committee.
Right.
Yes.
Maybe Anthony Blinken.
Who knows Susan Rice.
Dr. Jill.
Dr. Jill, absolutely.
Who were the people who were the acting presidents?
And then you had the de facto staff, Obama, Susan Rice, and others,
that were operating from the shadow government down the street.
So were they involved in this process as well?
So these are questions that now have to come up.
Absolutely. And Doc, if they affix us a signature to a legal document without that person's knowledge
and permission, that is forgery.
Yes.
And when the forgery involves the President of the United States and foreign affairs and military affairs
and pardons and criminal things with the Department of Justice.
This becomes extremely serious and people could go to prison and people should go to
prison. If the White House was run by a committee and Joe Biden was clueless
for four years of what was going on.
And which, which also now is part of a bigger scandal.
And now you have a conspiracy.
Right.
A conspiracy to hide the facts from the American people.
And this is big.
This is big.
And now their preemptive pardons have been taken away from them?
It's going to be interesting to see who panics first.
And who's running the FBI right now?
Cash Patel and Dan Bongino. Wow
Amazing well anyhow, it's a way to start today's program
The next one is president Trump
Basically declared war on
Violent illegal immigrants. Yes
As you can see the headline there this from the London Telegraph.
This is a time of war. President Trump doubles down on mass migrant deportation law.
So we'll talk more about it here in just a few minutes where he has invoked the Alien Enemies
Act and we'll go into some detail about that here in a few minutes but over the course the weekend
and over the past several weeks of course they've been transporting
illegal aliens out of the country and in particular have been the latest was a shipment of
the Venezuelan gang trendy trendy arguella and being shipped to el Salvador, where we have an agreement with President Nayib Bukele
right now, where they're actually taking these gang members, these illegal alien gang members,
and we're paying El Salvador for this, but they're willing to take them on and imprison
them. And even President of El Salvador, Bukele,
posted on his own ex account over the weekend
the first arrival of these gang members into El Salvador.
It's not a pretty picture.
And here's the video that the president of El Salvador
posted on his own account over the weekend.
Watch this. Hey! Yeah. I'm going to be a little bit of a pain in the ass. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I'm going to the hotel. Let's go! Cesar Eliseo Sortomana.
15! You don't mess around with El Salvador there.
So, Doc, if hell has a welcome center, it looks like an El Salvador prison.
Yes.
And they are probably not going to have a very positive experience in El Salvador. Over the weekend,
of course, while this group of prisoners were in transit to El Salvador, even as it was in the air,
halfway to El Salvador, a federal judge tried to block President Trump's ability to quickly
deport non-citizens under the Alien Enemies Act. A federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump administration's ability to use a sweeping
wartime authority to quickly deport some migrants, whom the U.S. — they say migrants, CNN
— whom the U.S. has accused of being affiliated with the Venezuelan gang Trin de Arragua.
The judge also ordered any planes in the air at that time, carrying some of those migrants
to turn back to the U.S.
The judge said the temporary restraining order will remain in effect for 14 days or until
further order of the court.
He said another hearing in the case for later this month.
I think there's clearly irreparable harm here given these folks will be deported, the
judge said.
Boasberg said. a brief delay in their
removal does not cause the government any harm. In a presidential proclamation released earlier
Saturday, the White House cited its designation of Trinidad y Reguas as a foreign terrorist
organization, saying many of them have unlawfully infiltrated the United States and are conducting
irregular warfare and undertaking hostile actionsrated the United States and are conducting irregular warfare
and undertaking hostile actions against the United States government. The proclamation called for all
those subject to the measure to be immediately arrested, detained, and removed, which is exactly
what President Trump and the Trump administration did. Now you may be wondering what is this law or this act that President Trump used that
the judge tried to block.
Well, NBC News has a detail on the Alien Enemies Act.
This law has been around since 1798 and that's what President Trump has used. And it's not deportation so much as it is arresting criminals and taking
them to another facility.
But if you go back to 1798.
Now you can, you can deport non-citizens.
Yes.
So in 1798, with the U.S.
preparing for what it believed would be a war with France, Congress passed a series
of laws that increased the federal
government's reach. Worried that immigrants could sympathize with the French, the Alien Enemies Act
was created to give the President wide powers to imprison and deport non-citizens in times of war.
Since then, the act has been used three times during the War of 1812, World War I, and World War II.
during the War of 1812, World War I, and World War II. So Rick, what are your thoughts on President Trump and using the Alien Enemies Act and this judge
trying to block it? Well, completely support President Trump in using the law.
It's a law. It's there. It's on the books. It's never been repealed. So use what you've got. It's a tool.
Number two, the federal judge, obviously more sympathetic to
hardened criminals than he is to innocent American citizens.
innocent American citizens.
These guys, these leftist judges that are so sympathetic to men who kill and rape and commit the worst crimes imaginable, and
they want to defend them.
Now, I want to point out when the judge's order was issued,
that government aircraft was in the judge's order was issued, that government aircraft
was in the air and it was over international waters.
And the president gave the message, go ahead.
The plane is outside of the US, it's in international airspace, keep going. And therefore, the position of the White House is they are not
violating a court order. Now, it means that he can't send any more to El Salvador until
this court ruling is overturned. Doc, I still believe at some point Mr. Trump is going
to declare martial law. I think these judges are going to continue to put
unnecessary roadblocks in his path and what I want to I want to point out, we go back to the London Telegraph, number three.
President Trump said, this is a time of war.
Right.
He deliberately used those words.
He's saying we're in war.
We've been invaded. We have criminal cartels, violent gangs that are coming into the United States, committing
horrible crimes against the American people.
We have the drug cartels that are invading.
We're at war.
I believe he's going to declare war on drug cartels and gangs.
Literally a state of war. Yes. Which then he can enact presidential powers.
Emergency presidential powers. He can sign into effect, not using an auto pen, but his own hand.
not using an auto pen but his own hand, he will sign into effect various executive orders activating emergency powers for the presidency in a time of war. I don't know how long,
are we looking at another three months, six months? I mean, they're going to give the courts some time, but not a lot of time.
I mean, he's not going to get bogged down into fighting judges every day.
And that's where, you know, it's lawfare. The Democrats are still playing lawfare. all fair. Yes. And, and I think the people will back him.
Look, I, those guys that were on that plane yesterday, their life is hell.
They'll probably be in a prison the rest of their life.
Right.
It's sending a message.
You don't think that video hasn't been seen by millions of people around the world
Don't come to the United States right now. Don't go there and mess around
They're gonna bust your head and put you in a prison. They're gonna send you to Guantanamo Bay
They're gonna send you to El Salvador. You better hadn't go and it's also sending a message
To the criminals that are in the United States. You better hoof it back to your home
You better get out of here while you can get out. So they're not going to back down on this and that law is a valid law and it was passed by
Congress to prepare the country for war.
That's why the President is saying we are at war.
Borders are Tom Homan.
Who was our border czar during the Biden administration?
Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris, I don't think she ever went to the border, maybe once at the end.
Kamala Harris never I don't think she ever went to the border maybe once at the end
You know he shot back he was on Fox News and
You know, he just said who in the right mind what kind of judge
Wants a a terrorist organization to be free in this country. Let's watch this Tom Holman on Fox News. I
Mean who in the right mind whether you're a judge or not, wants known publics, TDA, a recognized terrorist organization sent here by the Maduro regime to create havoc to one
subtly United States should use a fentanyl to kill thousands of Americans, violence to
American citizens, raping and murdering young women in this country.
They're enemies of this country,
and President Trump treated them as enemies,
and we did exactly what we should have done.
Again, President Trump is gonna make this country safe again.
He's gonna do it one illegal alien at a time,
and this weekend, we did 261.
So the question comes, Rick,
at what point does the Trump administration say, all right, let's
fight this through the courts or just simply ignore the courts because Joe Biden ignored
judges' orders when he was president.
But the establishment would impeach Donald Trump.
You're right, they would.
They would impeach him.
They wouldn't Joe Biden, but they would Donald Trump.
That's what I'm telling you. He's going to declare martial law
If they push him hard enough, he's going to declare martial law
It's coming three months six months. I think before this year's over
He's going to knock heads and the American people are going to be behind him
Marshall Law is not going to affect anybody's life. If you're if you're law-abiding
If you're going to work every day paying your taxes paying your bills, it's not going to affect anybody's life. If you're law-abiding, if you're going to work every day, paying your taxes, paying your bills, it's not going to affect you.
Martial law would give the president the power to round up criminals and to tell leftist
judges to sit down and shut up.
And I think that's what's coming.
All right, let's switch over to World War III.
NBC News.
And I'll pick it up here, Rick.
As you see the headline there from NBC, this is earlier today, President Trump says President
Putin of Russia talks will discuss Russia and Ukraine dividing up certain assets.
And so it's on the table either in the next day or in the next few days for President
Donald Trump and President Putin to be speaking directly.
President Trump said late Sunday that negotiators in Washington and Moscow have begun discussing
the division of assets between Russia and Ukraine in an effort to bring an end to the
three-year-long conflict between the two countries.
The president told reporters aboard Air Force One that he plans to speak with Russian President
Vladimir Putin on Tuesday and that the conversation would discuss dividing up certain assets,
including land and power plants.
Here is President Trump on Air Force One late yesterday evening. A lot of work has been done over the weekend. We want to see if we can bring that war to an end.
Maybe we can, maybe we can't, but I think we have a very good chance.
Well, I think we'll be talking about land.
It's a lot of land. It's a lot different than it was before the wars, you know.
And we'll be talking about land. We'll be talking about power plants.
That's a big question.
But I think we have a lot of it already discussed very much by both sides.
Ukraine and Russia.
We're already talking about that.
Dividing up certain assets.
Well that's got a lot of people wondering.
Yes.
What are you talking about?
Land assets, power plants?
Yes.
This is going to be interesting to see how this all shakes out here over the next few
days as more and more information comes out.
There's been talk about how do you handle things like the power plants that power Ukraine
that are in the Russian breakaway provinces.
Right.
So that's an issue.
And that's a good issue to bring up.
The nuclear power plants, one of them.
And others.
And of course, we all know there's always talk about the mineral rights and the mineral
assets in Ukraine and in the breakaway
Provinces as well. He said the announcement is going to be made tomorrow. Yes
So it's going to be interesting to see how this shakes out but notice who is not in this conversation
Ukraine's not in the conversation or is anyone from Europe in this conversation?
It's the United States and Russia. Yes. And somebody else who's not in it.
And we haven't mentioned this.
It's happened last week, but retired general Keith Kellogg.
Right.
He got pushed out.
Yes.
By Russia.
That's, that's right.
And so, uh, president Trump announced that retired general Keith Kellogg
will shift his focus to Ukraine.
I like the way they put this.
Narrowing his special envoy role to exclude his involvement with Russia as
previously planned.
The commander in chief said in a true social post Saturday afternoon that
general Kellogg, who was initially appointed as president Trump's special
envoy for Ukraine and Russia, will now serve as special envoy to just Ukraine.
So this is true social posts that he had. Very glowing remarks about General Kellogg. I'm pleased
to inform you that General Keith Kellogg has been appointed special envoy to Ukraine.
General Kellogg, a highly respected military expert, will deal directly with President Zelensky and
Ukrainian leadership.
He knows them well and they have a very good working relationship together. Congratulations to
General Kellogg. Now, once again, this is Donald Trump's rule number two at work. He is redefining
reality. Yes. And so, Rick, what do you think is really going on here?
Yes.
So Rick, what do you think is really going on here?
Mr. Putin, Lavrov, Medvedev, told Mr. Trump, do not send General Kellogg back to our country.
He's not fair. This is their view.
I'm not making my viewpoint.
I'm not making my viewpoint. I'm saying I think
their position is they did not believe he was fair and
Could be trusted as a mediator. They saw him as pro-ukraine
Right, you know, I said a week or two ago
The Kellogg plan is on the internet and has been for a year so the Russians the Russians are reading it going well this is what we're being led to we're not going to agree to
this plan and so mr. Trump is telling general Kellogg you just stay in Ukraine
you can't go over you can't go over to Moscow they're not going to talk to you
so Kellogg is out general Kellogg out. BBC reporting peace deal must bar
Ukraine from NATO, says Russian officials. And this goes right back to the very beginning
of this whole conflict back when it first started. Russia will seek guarantees that NATO will exclude
Ukraine from membership and that Ukraine will remain neutral in any peace deal.
This is coming from a Russian deputy foreign minister. He said we will demand and that Ukraine will remain neutral in any peace deal.
This is coming from a Russian deputy foreign minister.
He said, we will demand that ironclad security guarantees become part of this agreement.
That's coming from Alexander Grushko, speaking to Russian media outlet Izvestia.
Part of these guarantees should be the neutral status of Ukraine, the refusal of NATO countries
to accept it into the Alliance he said
there Russia will not budge on this they will not move from this at all there
can't and the thing is there's no middle ground on this no there's not like you
can't have half NATO in Ukraine the Russian position is we went to war over
this issue right we're not going to cave now
We're not going to compromise. We went to war our sons died. We're not going to compromise
The reason we went to war
Was because we said there would never be NATO in Ukraine
And so they're going to stick to that position and and I believe doc they're willing to go to world war three over that
That issue, I believe they're willing to fight with nukes if they have
to they're not going to allow NATO on their border the next one London Times
Kiev rejects Russia's demands yes so in response Ukraine's foreign minister has
said that Kiev will will not accept a Russian veto on its
right to join NATO after Moscow said there can be no peace without ironclad guarantees
that we talked about that rule out NATO membership for Kiev in the future and enshrine its neutral
status.
This is coming from Ukraine here.
No country has the veto on the choice of the Ukrainian people on the choice of Ukraine
regarding participation in certain unions, be it the European Union or NATO.
That's coming from Andrei Sibyia, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister speaking to the RBC Ukraine
website.
So we need to inform the dear Ukrainian Foreign Minister, you lost the war you have no
you have no bargaining chips right what do you got to play with you lost the war
right for example what Germany lost World War two what did we do with Germany we
divided it in two that's right for 70 years and so for the purpose of keeping Germany from doing what it did
twice. That's right. And so, and if Ukraine had its druthers, it would be doing the
same thing Germany's doing, but with nuclear weapons. So what if Germany
in World War II, at the end of World War II, said we're not going to allow Franklin Roosevelt and Stalin and Churchill to dictate the terms
of peace.
What are you talking about?
You lost.
What are you going to do about it?
You can't do it.
Yeah, Germany.
What are you going to do about it, Germany?
You can't do anything about it.
You lost.
If Donald Trump picks up all of his marbles and leaves Ukraine, it's over.
It's completely over.
And if Russia wanted to take the entire country, they could do it.
Yes.
I don't think they would, but they could.
For some reason, the Ukrainians are living in like an alternative universe.
And they just feel like they have the right to put demands on other countries and tell
them this is what we say.
Well, what you say doesn't matter right now.
You lost the war.
The next one, London Times, Prime Minister Keir Starmer ready to put British troops in
Ukraine for years.
They're just committed to this, aren't they, Rick?
So Sir Keir Starmer is willing to station thousands of British soldiers in Ukraine for years
to maintain a ceasefire and deter another Russian invasion.
The Prime Minister is prepared to make an open-ended commitment to deploy troops
for as long as it takes alongside Western allies in an effort to keep the peace. About a half dozen countries, including the UK, France, Turkey, Canada, and Australia,
are discussing plans to send as many as 30,000 troops to Ukraine.
Other countries are prepared to help with weapons and logistics.
However, the Prime Minister has refused to say whether the peacekeeping force will be
authorized to open fire against Russian
soldiers in the event of an attack.
The rules of engagement are likely to be discussed in coming days.
Now, President Macron of France said that Russia will have no say in whether foreign
troops are deployed.
If Ukraine asks allied forces to be on its territory, it is not up to Russia to accept
it or not, he said.
Okay, what's he have in his pipe?
That's a great question. I mean, yes, it is up to Russia.
If you put NATO troops in Ukraine, Russia is not going to accept that.
They're going to be very, very upset.
And not only are the NATO troops going to die in Ukraine,
but the people in Paris and London
are going to die.
That's right.
Honestly, Doc, it's just hard for me to believe that these people are this out of touch with
reality.
They're out of touch with reality.
They're like little boys pretending they're going to join Patton's army.
That's what I kind of see.
Like a group of little boys, they're looking at, here's General Patton and his army over
here.
And these little boys over there, and they're pretending they're going to join the army.
They got their wooden swords and their firecrackers and everything, and they think they're going
to go to war.
These guys are clueless.
Mr. um Mr. Medvedev had some
colorful words to say to Mr. McCrone and Mr. Starmor. Yes this is number 18 for control if
you want to bring that up. This is what he posted on uh. It says, Macron and Stammer are playing dumb.
Time and again they are told that peacekeepers must be from non-NATO states. No, we will send
tens of thousands. Just lay it out. You want to give military aid to the neo-Nazis in Kiev.
That means war with NATO. Consult with Trump, scumbags. And so he's making it very clear that there will not
be NATO troops in Ukraine.
Russia's back in this fight.
Beyond Ukraine?
Yes.
He's saying, we will fight you in your own country.
He's telling France and Great Britain, we're going to wipe you out in
minutes. You don't know what you're doing. But you get Macron and
Starmor pretending that they're great military strategists. Look at this next
one, Irish news. Britain and allies have more cards to play to force Russia to negotiate. This is
a Great Britain's Foreign Secretary, David Lammy.
Yes, I don't know where these cards are coming from. And unless it's another pack, another
deck that they're dealing from here, but foreign UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy said, if
President Putin does not deliver and I must tell tell the House that I currently see no sign yet that he is,
the G7 meeting helped us ready the tools to get Russia to negotiate seriously.
We're not waiting for the Kremlin. If they reject a ceasefire, we have more cards that we can play.
We can all see the impact of the G7's unprecedented sanctions that have had on Russia's faltering economy,
social spending down, inflation and interest rates sky-high.
There can be no let-up in our efforts.
In Canada, at the G7 meeting, we discussed where we can go further to target their energy and defense sectors,
further squeeze their oil revenues and use frozen Russian assets. At the same time, we will keep up our support to Ukraine.
Europeans clearly need to shoulder our share of this responsibility.
Once again, we just have to remind the Europeans,
you're not even at the negotiating table.
You have not... What cards do you have to play?
You're not even in the game.
I know. This is what's so weird, Doc.
It's like somebody out in the parking lot wanting to get inside a big party.
You're not invited.
Yes.
It doesn't matter what you say.
You're not invited.
Well, Dmitry Medvedev, once again with colorful language that we can't show all
of it here,
had a response to this as well.
UK updates Trump.
Russia should accept the proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine without any conditions, says the
British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
Well, Dmitry Medvedev says that Britain and its minister can shove their idea back where
it came from diplomatically speaking.
And he was using more colorful language when he said that as well.
So once again, the Russians are making it very, very clear.
Europe, you're not even in the discussion here.
You're not even, you're not even in the building playing.
But they think they are and they're going to continue to do this.
But the problem is Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are probably going to settle this tomorrow,
aren't they, Rick?
Yes, they are.
Now, the question is, what does Zelensky do?
And what does Mr. Stammer and Mr. Macron do?
If once again, if you see Boris Johnson running off to
Kiev saying, don't give in, don't sign it, we will fight for you, then this thing's going to continue
and Russia is going to obliterate Great Britain and France. The U.S. will be out of the war.
We're not going to keep, we're not going to be in this war.
President Trump has removed us from this portion of World War III.
Thank God.
If Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Anthony Blinken and that gang has remained
in power, we would be in a nuclear war with Russia.
Yes.
By this time we would have already given Ukraine maybe even some tactical nukes and
maybe even had NATO troops on the ground in Ukraine.
And so that's where this could have gone.
But tomorrow will be the, we'll tell the tale on where things are going to be heading in
the future as far as the relationship between the United States and Russia's concern in this part of World War III. All right, let's switch over to the Middle East
because the Houthis in Yemen are acting up and they're going to get clobbered. They don't have
enough sense to lay low. Iran doesn't have enough sense to lay low. Iran ought to look around and try to find Hezbollah and Hamas and President Assad and Syria. Just look around. Yes. Okay, why
are you messing with Donald Trump? You need to... I mean, they're really... they're
playing with fire. Yes, so the hoodies came out late last week and over the
weekend saying, we're gonna just stop traffic
All along the Gulf here. We're we're gonna shut it down. Well, there's no way that the US is going to allow that to happen
The our Secretary of State
Marco Rubio appeared on CBS has faced the nation yesterday and explained our response which was we
struck the Houthis in Yemen. Watch this. Well first of all the problem here is
that this is a very important shipping lane and in the last year and a half, the
last 18 months, the Houthis have struck or attacked 174 naval vessels of the
United States, attacking the US Navy directly 174 times and 145 times they've
attacked commercial shipping. So we basically directly, 174 times, and 145 times they've attacked commercial shipping.
So we basically have a band of pirates, you know, with guided precision anti-ship weaponry,
and exacting a toll system in one of the most important shipping lanes in the world.
That's just not sustainable.
We are not going to have these people controlling which ships can go through and which ones
cannot.
And so your question is how long will this go on?
It will go on until they no longer have the capability to do that.
Well, what does US intelligence tell us at this point? Because the US had been
conducting strikes for some time but has not stopped the Houthis. So
what's going to be different right now? Do you have more fidelity in the
intelligence that would make this more successful?
Well, those strikes were retaliation strikes. So they launched one missile, we hit the missile
launcher or we sent something to do it. This is not a message. This is not a one-off. This
is an effort to deny them the ability to continue to constrict and control shipping. And this
is not going to happen. We're not going to have these guys, these people with weapons able to tell us where
our ships can go, where the ships of all the world can go, by the way.
It's not just the U.S.
We're doing the world a favor.
We're doing the entire world a favor by getting rid of these guys and their ability to strike
global shipping.
That's the mission here.
And it will continue until that's carried out.
That never happened before.
The Biden administration didn't do that.
All the Biden administration would do is they would respond to an attack.
These guys would launch one rocket, we'd hit the rocket launcher.
That's it. This is an effort to take away their ability to control global shipping in that part of the world.
That's just not going to happen anymore.
And it could continue until that's finished.
It could involve ground raids.
Well, those are military decisions to be made, but I've heard no talk of ground raids.
I don't think there's a necessity for it right now. Well, those are military decisions to be made, but I've heard no talk of ground raids.
I don't think there's a necessity for it right now.
I can tell you that as of last night, some of the key people involved in those missile
launches are no longer with us, and I can tell you that some of the facilities that
they use are no longer existing, and that will continue.
Look, it's bottom line, easy way to understand it, okay?
These guys are able to control what ships can go through there.
They've attacked the U.S. Navy 17 through there. They've attacked the US Navy 174 times.
They've attacked the United States Navy.
We're not going to have people sitting around with the missiles attacking the US Navy.
It's not going to happen.
Not under President Trump.
Secretary Rubio and President Trump were saying, okay, we've, we've got Ukraine finished.
We're looking for a fight now.
Let's go find somebody to fight.
Keep the war machine going.
I would be totally against it, but that's not what's going on here.
Yes.
Now the Houthis in Yemen, the reason that they're, they're doing these
attacks is they think that they can put pressure on the world to back away from Israel.
Okay, the strategy is not working. It's a failed strategy and
it's going to get you buried under a lot of bombs.
So the Houthis need to have a dose of reality. Yes. Or the US Navy
have a dose of reality.
Yes.
Or the U S Navy is going to turn Yemen into an ashtray.
And they they've started doing that over the weekend.
And president Trump now is also holding Iran responsible for anything that the hoodies do moving forward.
President Trump says Iran will suffer dire consequences for any more hoodie attacks.
Trump says Iran will suffer dire consequences for any more Houthi attacks. Of course, the Iranian Guard chief had a response to this as well.
This is Times of Israel.
He says there will be a decisive reprisal against any attacks after President Trump's
warning.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Sunday threatened a decisive response to
any attack after US President Donald Trump ordered a wave of airstrikes against Yemen's Houthi rebels and warned
Iran to stop backing the group.
On Saturday, President Trump said the United States had launched a decisive and powerful
military action to end the Houthi threat in the Red Sea shipping lanes and warned that
Iran's support for the rebels must end immediately.
A Houthi health official said the strikes killed at least 31 people. The Iranian Guard Chief Hossein
Salami denounced President Trump's threats in a televised speech on Sunday, adding that Iran
will not wage war, but if anyone threatens it will give appropriate decisive and conclusive responses.
threatens it will give appropriate decisive and conclusive responses.
So we're gearing up for the next phase of World War Three, aren't we? Yes.
If the Iranians had any sense, they would lay low.
They're not going to win this battle.
It is World War Three.
And by doing this, it takes it out of the Israel play too, doesn't it?
You can say, well, they were messing with the Red Sea shipping lane.
That's an international concern.
Absolutely.
It has nothing to do with Israel.
The Houthis may hate Israel, Yemen may hate Israel, but you have now crossed the international
line here, so to speak.
And then we know who's supplying you, that's Iran.
And so, Iran, we're holding you responsible, so you better rein in your boys in Yemen.
Right. So, just because you have a political cause that's right or just,
doesn't justify you in carrying out acts of violence against other people.
And you're going to suffer consequences for it.
So the Houthis are going to get slammed.
But it looks like this may be the time that Persia, Iran comes fully into World War III.
It could happen very, very soon in coming weeks the switch to
Canada
CBC News Canada Prime Minister Mark Carney
Arrives in Paris to meet with European allies amid US trade war. Yes, and so
Mark Carney is closing up to European leaders this week
Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in Paris Monday to European leaders this week. Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in
Paris Monday to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron seeking support from one of Canada's
Odo's allies as US President Donald Trump continues to attack Canada's sovereignty and economy.
Now listen to what he said here, he said describing Canada as the most European of non-European
countries. That's probably a great description of Canada. Carney told Macron he is determined like Hugh to maintain the most
positive possible relations with the United States. But obviously they're shifting their focus there.
there. Doc, who do we see repeatedly showing up in the news seeking to be the the the man who opposes Donald Trump? It's Emmanuel Macron. Yes. He's got visions,
he's got dreams of being the Napoleon of Europe, that he's going to unite Europe
behind him and France. France is going to become the dominant player of
They've already offered the nuclear umbrella
Let's think about a nuclear umbrella. Then that sounds so sweet. I want to go sit under my nuclear umbrella
And you know what Rick there was a French nuclear submarine that was parked off Nova Scotia all neck last week
Did you know that no yes. Yes there was. There to protect Canada from the United States? I don't
know but it was there. Let's just say it was there. So. All right so Mark Carney, I
don't know how many of our audience know who this guy is. I've talked about Mark
Carney for 20 some years. He's been around. He is a lifer in the globalist movement. Yes. I mean,
Bilderberg boy, you know, World Economic Forum. The only guy I
know, no, I take it back to I know two people who was central
bank governor for two different countries. Yes. He was that
amazing. He was a central banker for Canada and the second
central banker for Great Britain. Yes. Isn't that amazing? He was the central banker for Canada and the central banker for Great Britain.
Yes.
Isn't that amazing?
A banker.
So, well, who is Mark Carney?
Well, we'll tell you a little bit about him.
He was born and raised in Edmonton, went to Harvard, also went to Oxford.
So he's got the CV for leadership there. During his professional career, worked for
Goldman Sachs in various locations, held senior positions at the Bank of Canada,
eventually becoming the governor of the Bank of Canada back in 2008, served then, after he served
his term as governor of the Bank of Canada, served as governor of the Bank of England
served his term as governor of the Bank of Canada, served as governor of the Bank of England from 2013 to 2020,
and was the first non-British person
to ever hold that position, and also
served as the United Nations Special Envoy on Climate Action
and Finance.
So you already know where his mindset is on things.
Now, what's interesting about him becoming prime minister
here is he's not a member of the Canadian Parliament.
No.
Doc, he was put in power by the European technocrats.
That's exactly right, Rick.
He is a European technocrat, and they put him in power to confront Donald Trump.
Yes.
So some of the achievements that are a tribute to him, he
played a crucial role in guiding Canada through the 2008 financial crisis, led
the Bank of England through its economic challenges of Brexit, and of course he
has been a vocal advocate for addressing climate change through financial policy.
But he's got something else, Doc. I want to go to a Toronto Sun article from last, no, two months ago, January 10.
So this is before he was elected, not elected, he's not elected, he was selected, not elected.
He was, Canada, the people of Canada didn't vote him in. He was selected and made the replacement for Justin
Trudeau. But this story is from January 10. Carney campaign pushes back on Maxwell photos.
Right. Now, at the time, he was angling for that position as head of the Liberal Party.
And then the Ghislaine Maxwell connection started popping up.
How about that?
He knows Ghislaine Maxwell?
Yes. So Mark Carney is blaming the Pierre Polivar Conservatives for circulating photos of the Global Bank banker with Ghislaine Maxwell,
the jailed ex-girlfriend of the late Jeffrey Epstein. Now the photos began
circulating on social media Monday. The original account to share it appears to
be a small anonymous account with a few followers and only a few posts over the
past few weeks. Notice how they diminish the post. The original post
pointed to a photo of Carney and his wife, Diana Fox Carney, standing with Maxwell,
the British socialite turned sex trafficker, and Epstein associate, who is
currently serving 20 years in jail right here in Florida, by the way. A quote from
the article, as a child the woman you reference went to the same high school
as Mr. Carney's wife's sister.
Small world isn't it?
That's just amazing.
So, while they have bumped into each other in public settings, including the 11 year
old photos you've sent, they are not friends, a source close to Carney told the Toronto
Sun.
Not now. Think about Bill Barr, former attorney general.
His father hired Jeffrey Epstein as a school teacher.
Yes.
What a small world.
Weird how that works.
It's a really small world.
Now, stories in British media from back in 2013
detailed how Mark Carney had used an event held
at his sister-in-law's estate as like a coming out party.
The story includes a photo of Kearney, his wife Diana, and Maxwell lounging in the grass at the
Wilderness Festival. The event has been described as posh stock, an event for well-heeled hippies
that included a luxury spa, gourmet food, heated yurts, all laid out on the grounds of Cornberry Park,
the massive estate of his sister-in-law. So what kind of relationship did Carney and his wife have
with Maxwell and did that extend to Epstein? Well given the photos, it's a valid question for the
man who wants to become the Prime Minister of Canada in a few short weeks. Remember, this is back January 10th that this article came out.
The source close to Carney is emphatic that the liberal leadership hopeful
had no interactions with Epstein and in fact had never heard of him.
Not even any interactions, never even heard of the guy
until long after these photos were released.
It says, and this is quoting the Toronto Sun again, during his time as Bank of England
governor, Carney came across thousands of people and was obviously subject to intense and daily
UK media scrutiny.
And if you were at all close to them, you can be sure it would have been a story and
not just photos in the press, the source said.
No you wouldn't. Not when the media is going along with it. Yes and they were very good at hiding
it. All right I'm gonna jump down to number 30. Lee this is France 24. A French
member of Parliament is demanding that the United States give give back to
France the Statue of Liberty. Oh my goodness
What what a story this is?
The French 24 article says French give back the Statue of Liberty
Because the u.s. No longer represents the values that led France to offer the statue in the first place
Give us back the Statue of Liberty. That's coming from
center-left politician Rafael Glucksmann speaking on a convention of his
Place Public center-left movement. We're going to say to the Americans who have
chosen to side with the tyrants, to the Americans who fired researchers for
demanding scientific freedom, give us back the Statue of Liberty," he told cheering reporters and supporters.
The values, he said, we no longer represent the values that was with the statue when it was given
to America. Well, is he talking about the Masonic values? Yes. Because the Statue of Liberty was a Masonic gift. The two main players in the design and the building of the
Statue of Liberty were high-level Freemasons. Exactly right. So, hey, we mentioned earlier Dan
Bongino, podcaster, radio broadcaster, now FBI. Deputy director. Deputy director. Hard to believe but I love it. Stick around
radio long enough. Yeah. Get another job. I love it. So there's a New York Times
with a rival Bongino Trump loyalist take command of the FBI. Oh Doc, I'd love to
be at the water cooler in the FBI. Oh my goodness. You know there are corrupt agents that
are scared, really scared. And but I wanted to show you a video here. This is from Friday. Friday
was Dan's last day as a radio broadcaster, podcaster. And it was emotional for him. We've got just the last seconds of his sign off
and then the post sign off after he'd gone off the air. Let's watch.
So I still got a radio show to do, which is crazy. I'm going to get through that.
So I'll end as I began.
And as I began, I'll see you guys on was hard man. Wow, three more hours.
Yeah, three more hours to go.
That was crazy.
That was crazy.
That was crazy.
Hope you guys enjoyed the show.
That's one of the best shows.
You know we say it's gone, like I looked up and we were two and a half hours in, but it
just happened.
We got to keep my earpiece in that drawer.
Guy, that drawer is only for me.
Second drawer, right over there. That's what that general is.
It's going to be interesting to see how he manages his adaptation to the FBI environment there.
And so, the end of an era there because he took over, of course, the Rush Limbaugh spot and everything.
That was a challenge in itself.
I can understand D kids most of the forming
yes what ten years i think he started two thousand fifteen
i've been here twenty six years
i don't know what my reaction would be if i'd
if i signed off
uh... it's been so long
this is like
just becomes part of it
and uh... he put he put a lot of energy, a lot of work into his program,
and a lot of people are gonna miss him,
but we're going to see him in action now at the FBI.
Another radio broadcaster signed off today.
Wow, this is big.
This is, the voice of America went dark. Yes. Doc, Voice of
America has been around since the end of World War II. Yes. We're back to the old
shortwave radio days. Yes, I mean broadcasting all over the world, Voice of
America Asia, Voice of America Europe, so many facilities around the world,
but as of Saturday, they've been shut down.
Shut down.
Yes, so for more than 80 years, voice of America
transmitted the news to countries,
many of them authoritarian,
this is New York Times saying this,
where reliable sources of information
about the outside world were often hard to come by.
Now those broadcasts, long viewed as an important part of U.S. efforts to promote democracy
and transparency overseas, are flickering out.
Just hours after President Trump signed an executive order on Friday calling for dismantling
the federal agency that oversees the Voice of America, hundreds of journalists, executives,
and other employees at the organization's headquarters
in Washington were informed that they were being put on paid leave.
Employees said they quickly lost access to the work email and other communications programs.
Much of the VOA's content is produced in Washington and transmitted to a network of
affiliates worldwide.
Most of Voice of America's workforce locked out,
at least some of its radio frequencies in Asia,
the Middle East and elsewhere went dark
or began airing nothing but music, employees said.
And this is a big deal, folks, it really is.
The US poured billions, I'm saying billions of dollars
in the Voice of America over 80
years.
That was our official propaganda radio network.
That's right.
Two more, two more articles before we sign off.
The next one is brought to you by GoldCo.
This is the GoldCo financial news segment.
Dollar General, the CEO of Dollar General, reveals alarming change
in consumer behavior. Yes. And said we're not anticipating improvement. Yes, he came
out and said that the discount store is starting to see fewer shoppers because
of their worsening financial situations. The shoppers that is. At Dollar General.
Yes.
And says that these circumstances
don't appear to be improving any time soon.
Todd Vaso, the CEO of Dollar General,
said, our customers continue to report
that their financial situation has worsened over the last year
as they've been negatively impacted by ongoing inflation.
Many of our customers report they only have enough money for basic essentials,
with some noting that they have had to sacrifice even on the necessities.
He went on to say, as we enter 2025, we are not anticipating an improvement in
the macro environment, particularly for our core customers.
In turn, our customers expect value and convenience more
than ever.
Core customers are already always strained,
so they cannot handle additional financial burdens.
This is interesting.
This is one of those red lights, once again,
that are popping up on the radar that unless something
significantly changes in the economy, that are popping up on the radar that it's unless something significantly
changes in the economy we're gonna see a trend away from this. Dollar General
was the you know if you can't afford Walmart you go to Dollar General. Right
and now you've got you have Americans that can't afford Dollar General that's
very troubling. Right. That tells me how much economic pain is in the heartland of
America right now so look our theme this year and next year and the year after
that because this is I am convinced is a 10 to 15 year cycle this is not going to
go away quickly it's going to be with you for many, many years. And depending on your age
and where you stand financially right now, the steps that you need to take depend on
your current financial situation. For example, getting out of debt. Many of you may have,
you've already taken steps to get out of debt. That's great. If you haven't, you need to get
out of debt. You just need to stop charging anything to credit cards. Make it a point.
You'd rather cut off your fingers and charge something don't charge another thing
pay cash
It's okay to use a credit card if you have the cash to pay it off in 30 days, right?
So that's number one You know cut expenses
What is it that you can cut?
Where are you spending money that you just it's frivolous
Cut those things out
Look at things like door dash, how much do you spend every week on door dash? I
Mean you're paying delivery fees you're paying
Driver fees you're paying, you know, look at look at the money you're
racking up in buying things with DoorDash or any other delivery system.
Can you can you cut that out?
Can you can you pick up a side hustle?
Is there something that you can do to make some money on the side?
Increase your income, pay down your debt, start with the lowest debt and pay it
off and then move to the next one and pay it off and then move to the next one.
Have a plan to get out of debt. Be determined you're going to get out of
that. And of course the one that's really important, build a portfolio of precious metals. Yes. Gold and silver, other
precious metals. Our recommendation is GoldCo and their number is 844-960-Gold.
Look, these people need to become your friend. This is not a one-time occurrence
in life. This, folks, just take it from my age perspective. I
believe that this is a 10 to 15 year cycle and it depends on where you're at
in life, your age, family, and all those things. You've got to make adjustments.
You're going to have to make adjustments or this wave of inflation and debt is going
to overtake you.
There are ways to escape it.
There are ways to override it.
Be victorious over it.
The Bible says that God wants you to be the head and not the tail.
The lender, not the borrower. So put biblical financial principles in place.
And that leads me to my last recommendation.
Become a joyful giver.
Get involved in one or two or three ministries that are preaching the gospel, building up
the kingdom of God, really doing
something.
Get involved with them.
Stay with them.
Stay with them for years.
Don't just throw a donation out there one time.
Stay with them.
And God will bless your faithfulness.
And as your finances grow, that ministry's finances are going to grow,
and both are going to prosper and become stronger in the years ahead.
Those are my personal recommendations. But give GoldCo a call and tell them you want to learn
about how to invest in gold and silver. Ask for their 20-25 gold and silver kit.
Ask for their 20-25 gold and silver kit. Ask if you qualify for an instant 10% match in silver.
And ask them how you can roll over part or all of your retirement account into precious metals.
There's no charge for the information. 844-960-GOLD. One final story. This one's... By the way way gold is that three thousand and eight right now
Eight dollars above three thousand. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. It's still going up
one last story New York Post
This story verifies that there is a significant portion of
The American people who are mentally ill.
And I mean that.
Hospitals in New Jersey are asking parents of newborns to identify the sexual orientation of the newborn babies.
You know, we never used to have to have a forum, Rick, to identify your baby.
You just opened up the diaper.
That's right.
It was pretty evident there.
But newborns can't even control their own movements, but that isn't stopping New Jersey
hospitals from asking parents for their baby's preferred pronouns and sexual orientation.
Inspire Health's Sexual Orientation and Gender
Identity Questionnaire, which you see a copy of there,
requires new parents to identify their babies as either male,
female, transgender, genderqueer, or, if you don't know
any of those, an additional gender category.
It further asks parents to select the word that best describes their infant.
An infant.
A baby.
As lesbian or gay, straight or heterosexual, self-described, questioning or unsure.
They're asking parents, do you think your little one-day-old baby is questioning its
sexuality?
Doc, these people are mentally ill.
Yes. This isn't about politics. This is about mental illness. And those of us who
are mentally stable, we need to shut this conversation down. These people should
not be... These people are running hospitals. Yes, and they don't know the
difference between a boy and a girl. They're running hospitals. It's terrifying. Well, I gotta go. We're over our time. Thank you so much
for watching True News and putting up with my raspy voice. Hopefully I'll get over this by
tomorrow. Thank you so much for being part of us. We'll be back here tomorrow. Morning Manor is coming up next. God bless you.

Welcome to Morning Manor.
It is Monday and we are beginning a
new chapter in the study of the book of Romans. Today is chapter 8 and we're going to do our
best to get through the first 8 verses of chapter 8. Let's pray and then Doc Burkhart
will read the word of God. We will jump in and immediately begin to study this chapter, verse by verse.
Father, Almighty God, we come to you with thanksgiving and praise and worship.
Father, your sons and daughters are here from around the world, ready to be taught, and
so we invite the Holy Spirit to take charge of this Bible study and illuminate
our hearts and minds to see and understand the greatness of your Son and His kingdom.
In Jesus name, amen. Amen. And if you have your Bibles, and you should always have your Bibles,
open up to Romans chapter 8 here. I'm gonna read from the King James.
Romans eight is probably the most quoted chapter
in the book of Romans.
And people think they know what it's all about,
but now you've had the first seven chapters.
Now you're gonna have a whole new level of revelation
on chapter eight, I guarantee you.
So let's read here the first eight verses today.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them
which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do,
in that it was weak through the
flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin,
condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteousness of the law might be
fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For they that
are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Verse 6, for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God neither indeed can be verse 8 so then they that are in the flesh
Cannot please God
Praise the Lord
Amen, so verse 1 and we start with one of those verses that Doc said is
well known popular
There is therefore now no condemnation
to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not
after the flesh, but after the spirit.
The now marks an immediate, unshakable reality for believers. It's an absolute assurance for now. Therefore,
now, not in the future, now, no condemnation. That speaks of a legal pardon from guilt and eternal judgment.
This is rooted in the atonement that was made possible for us through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
It's a verdict in God's courtroom.
No condemnation. I can see the Lord's gavel coming down on
the wood block. The judge saying, there is therefore now no condemnation for this woman. Right. They are cleared of all of sin's penalty in Christ Jesus. So we
spent the first seven chapters making this legal case, okay, all up to this
point here. Paul's laid out, if you will, like a lawyer in a courtroom.
Think about Perry Mason laying out his case there, or Matlock laying out his case there,
and then we come to chapter 8, verse 1.
This is the conclusion of the matter, so to speak.
Therefore, now, there is no condemnation. So everything up to this
point has been making the case, walking us through salvation, justification,
sanctification, and if we're at that point now we're here at the no condemnation.
So the first seven chapters were to get us to the therefore.
Yes, that's what it's there for.
In Christ Jesus, our identity, our salvation, hinge on this union, this unbreakable bond with our Savior. We must be in Christ Jesus.
It's not just an association with Him. It's a spiritual union. Paul is shifting, as Doc said, he's shifting away from the law's condemnation to the freedom
of the gospel.
In chapter 8, we're making the transition.
Despair over the law is now becoming triumphant grace. Yes. Glory.
Believers escape the law's penalty and power.
Believers escape the law's penalty and power. And this liberation is provided sin and the dominion of death.
Verse 1 is a joyous climax to the other seven chapters
of Paul's anguished cry.
Look at the things he said in his other seven chapters. He now comes to
the place where he says, I'm free. I have no guilt. So this freedom stems solely from
the sacrifice of Jesus has nothing to do with our efforts. That's a theme that we continuously
underscore. That we have no part in this glorious redemption, this glorious salvation, this glorious
grace. It's all through Jesus Christ. Right. And how do we know that we are in Christ Jesus? What is the evidence that we are in Christ Jesus? Paul makes that case in verse 1 here,
who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. That's the earmark of the
individual, the man or the woman of God, who are in Christ Jesus. They've abandoned
the walking after the flesh and are now pursuing walking after the Spirit.
Sinful man has no desire to fall after the Spirit. A sinful heart, man or woman,
there's nothing in them that motivates them to walk after
the Spirit.
But when we are in Christ Jesus, something has changed.
We have a new resident within us.
Now we walk after the Spirit of God.
That's how we know that we are in Christ Jesus.
That's how others know that we are in Christ Jesus. That's how others know that we are in Christ Jesus.
And if you even go so far,
that's how God knows that you're in Christ Jesus.
Amen.
That you walk after the Spirit.
Amen.
So he's not wrestling anymore.
Amen.
He took us through his wrestling stage.
I like that. And now he's telling us Satan's got sin and temptation and death pinned to the mat.
Praise God.
Did I say Jesus?
Jesus has Satan.
Yes. Temptation.
Sin.
Pen to the mat.
It's not you, not me.
It's Jesus.
And this is the liberty that we have.
That he, Christ has
overcome, he's defeated
our enemies.
Verse 2, for the law of the Spirit in Christ
Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. And so Paul is making the
case here there is now a new law, a higher law, a better law, a better covenant if
you will, that the law of the Spirit of
life, that there's a law of the Spirit of life, has cancelled out, has defeated the
law of sin and death for us.
My turn.
Oh, this is terrible.
The enemy is just determined to disrupt this Bible study every day.
So the law of the spirit of life is the power of the gospel to transform a life.
The law of the Spirit of Life.
This law is administered by the Holy Spirit.
It's a dynamic sovereign force.
It's a
Christ living in you
The law operates in Christ Jesus and that ties
Our liberation to his atoning work. Yes and our union with him
So Yes. And our union with Him. So freedom flows from His sacrifice, and the Holy Spirit is the active agent who imparts breaks sins chains, regenerates us, sins penalty and the power that sin had this
that was over us it breaks the dominion of sin Paul spent his first seven verses
the chapters talking about the dominion of sin in our lives.
Now he's telling us how it's broken, how we can live victoriously. We aren't
expected to be the one who breaks the power. God has provided the power for us.
Yes, that's key. We need to understand that, that it really,
it's nothing that we do except give up.
That surrender is the one thing we can do.
And even that surrendering comes at the prompting
of the Holy Spirit.
So this law that Paul is talking about here
is a law that's now being written on our hearts in the flesh,
rather than on tablets of stone or anything along that line.
But it's written on the flesh of our hearts now, just as the Old Testament prophets prophesied,
that there would one day, there'd be a day where the law of God would be written on the hearts of men.
That day, Paul is saying is now and in his day and it goes on to our day
today that law is written in our heart. How? Well now we have the Holy Spirit
abiding within us. So how do we get a revelation of what that law is. Well, the Spirit is the Word of Life and God's also provided
His Word to us. And so the more we know about the Word of God, the more we know
about the Spirit, and the more we come to a fuller understanding and revelation of
this law that's being written on our hearts. Amen. So we we give up and we jump in. Praise
god. We give up trying to do it in ourselves and we jump in to
what Christ already did. Praise god. You know, so he said
the the law of the spirit in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
So you've got two laws here.
You've got the law of sin and death
and the law of the Spirit of life.
The law of the Spirit of life that's in Christ Jesus.
So when you are operating in the law
of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, you are free
from the law of sin and death.
The law of spirit opposes the law of sin and death. These are two mutually exclusive principles.
Life versus death.
Freedom versus enslavement. I'm going to go down to verse 3.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin condemned sin in the flesh.
We've learned that the law cannot sanctify or sanctify any human because of the frailty, the weakness of mankind.
God acted where the law failed.
I mean, he sent the law, he gave the law,
but he knew when he gave it, it could not save.
So God had a solution. God didn't wake up one day and go, you know what, this plan's
not working.
Right. He didn't have a backup plan. There's only been one plan. I get so frustrated when
people say that, you know, salvation for the Gentiles was a backup plan. Like Jesus failed, but thank God, God
had a backup plan. He didn't have a backup plan. It was the plan.
That's right. That plan's name is Jesus. Amen.
Always Jesus. Amen. Just get it in your head, everything's about Jesus. It's just about Him. I think,
Doc, when we get to see Him, I think He's going to have such a sense of humor. I think
He's going to say, Hey, let's all gather around and sing hymns about me.
You know, hey, all the hymns are about me.
It's all about me.
Come on, everybody, sing.
I think he's gonna be hilarious.
I think with me, I think with me, it's gonna be, hey, Doc, you remember that poem about
footprints and the sand and everything? With you, hey, Doc, you remember that poem about footprints in the
sand and everything with you? I
had to drag you. Yeah. Yeah.
There weren't footprints. There
were drag marks. He'll marks.
So, God sent his Son as the divine solution. Amen.
But it was not by accident and it wasn't
by concluding that his original plan wasn't working.
It was always his plan.
The law was meant to show people that they could not obtain righteousness with God on their
own, that they needed a Savior.
He sent His own Son. And so, Paul's underscoring the unique divinity, the intimacy that Jesus has with the Father,
His own Son, His one and only Son. So, the likeness of sinful flesh, that means that Jesus, the Son of God, assumed human
nature.
He fully identified with us, yet He remained sinless.
He took on the likeness of human flesh.
Now, it said likeness of sinful flesh.
Yes.
He didn't take on sinful flesh.
There's a difference between the two.
Yes.
Because if Christ had been sinful,
it would have,
he would not have been the sacrifice that we need. Okay, if
it was sinful flesh, he would not have been the sacrifice that, that we need. He
had to be flawless, he had to be blameless, he had to be without blemish. You know,
everybody's so fascinated with the red heifer and everything with the temple,
but really the red heifer is a picture of Christ. You know, for the red heifer to be sacrificed had to be without blemish,
without spot, without a single blemish at all.
And that's what Christ became for us. Just as
the sacrifice that was laid on the altar in the Old Testament
was a likeness, if you will, of our own flesh,
a picture of our own flesh,
a picture of our own flesh there.
Christ now has taken on that very same likeness of flesh.
But there were some teachers that popped up in about the third or fourth century
that started teaching that Christ, his flesh,
the humanness of him, was sinful.
But his spirit remained sinless.
But this discounts that completely here in verse three.
It helps to read the Bible
before you start spouting stupid doctrines.
Yes, if more people would read the Bible
before they teach it.
Yes, comes more people would read the Bible before they teach it. Yes, comes in handy.
It does. Solves a lot of problems. So Christ was the substitute. He bore
sins, punishment. He satisfied divine justice.
He provided a substitutionary atonement for us. He was a sinless stand-in
for a guilty race of creatures.
Praise God for it. Think about that.
We have this entire class of humans, all of them guilty,
and you have this one from heaven, and he stands in.
He's sinless. He stands in, takes our place.
He's sinless. He stands in, takes our place. And then all of our sins are put on Him. All of them.
On the cross, all of our sins Jesus, the laws requirements were met.
And the righteousness of Jesus was imputed to us.
The power of sin was broken, and that freed us from the tyranny of sin. Praise God. In verse 4, that the
righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the Spirit.
So the mission of Jesus Christ enables us to fulfill the Law's righteous demands through
the Holy Spirit. The ultimate aim of God is to have a people living in union with Christ in God's holiness.
And the righteousness of Christ encompasses, it covers the law's moral and ethical standards.
standards. So fulfillment happens in us through divine grace. In us, not by us. Go back and look at what the verse says. Yes. That the righteousness of the law
might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit.
How is this done?
It's done through what Jesus did in verse 3.
It says that God sent His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin condemned sin
in the flesh.
Why?
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled
in us. In other words, we can't fulfill the righteousness of the law ourselves. There's
nothing we could ever do. There's no law we could keep. Even if we kept it perfectly,
we would still fail because we were keeping the law out of pride. So even if we kept it perfectly, we would fail at it.
And yet, God sending his Son Jesus in the likeness of sinful flesh, condemns sin in the flesh.
Why? That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us. In other words, it makes us
righteous. It makes us justified. It makes us positionally sanctified.
There's so much that Christ did through His sacrifice on the cross.
The most important thing, of course, is salvation.
Sin now has been condemned in the flesh, and we fulfill the righteousness of the law.
Amen. So we walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. So Paul is telling us our life
has to be directed by the Holy Spirit. You have to be in submission to the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
A lot of people want the Holy Spirit to help them from time to time, but not all the time.
Stay in submission to the Spirit. Then you won't get in those situations that you need help.
Because that's what happens. We're bobbing in and out of being in the Spirit and in the flesh.
And when we get our troubles from being in the flesh, then we go to the Spirit and say,
help me please. But if we would just stay consistent walking in the Spirit,
we'd miss a lot of those problems.
So there's a stark contrast between the flesh, sinful nature, and the Spirit,
which is God's influence in your life.
But there's ongoing tension, as Paul has talked about,
but it is resolved by the Holy Spirit because He gives us divine grace.
There's no excuse for falling in sin once you're saved because the Holy
Spirit is there to give you divine grace. Do we fall? Yes, we do. But it's our it's our fault. The the
spirit produces a life that reflects the standards of God's
kingdom. Amen.
And so, the Holy Spirit is always working in us. Always
convicting us, always encouraging us, not
condemning, convicting and condemning are two different things. Holy Spirit never condemns.
He does condemn.
Right, there's therefore now no condemnation. No condemnation. But there is conviction.
Yes. The conviction is the Holy Spirit saying, hey, you can do better. Come on, you can do
better. It's not condemnation of missing the mark. It's always a this. So walking in the Spirit, in my eyes, visibly proves genuine salvation.
It's the evidence.
It's an outward mark of inward grace. And if we're walking in the Spirit, Rick, there should be fruit that follows as a result
of that.
Galatians 5.2 says, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith. And Paul goes on to say in Galatians, gentleness, goodness, faith.
And Paul goes on to say in Galatians, against such there is no law.
In other words, it's not against the law
to walk in the Spirit.
It's not against the law to produce the fruit of the Spirit.
And this is how we know that we're walking in the Spirit.
If we're producing these things, if we're
producing love, if we're producing joy, if we're producing patience and
gentleness and goodness and faith, all these things, if they're being produced
in our lives, that is the evidence, if you will, of the Holy Spirit working in us
and us walking in the Spirit of God. Amen. Amen. Verse 5, for they that are after the
flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit the
things of the Spirit. Well that's pretty easy to spot. A person who claims to be a
Christian, are they pursuing fleshly things or spiritual
things?
The person that's in the spirit is going to pursue things of the spirit.
So the flesh or the spirit determines your behavior and your eternal outcome. Mindset determines behavior, behavior determines destiny.
That's one you should just ponder on all day long.
Mindset determines behavior. Behavior determines destiny.
That's not contradicting what we've taught previously about salvation through faith.
This is saying that a person that is in the spirit will have a mindset that will produce behavior that's in the spirit and that behavior will determine destiny.
Right.
And it's no longer a law in the sense of a rule that's being followed now, this law that is written on our hearts is as a result
of the relationship that we have.
Not because of the rules, but because of the relationship.
You know, if you love somebody, if you're in a marriage relationship, there are things
that you do and don't do based on the relationship.
It's not written down anywhere. you do and don't do based on the relationship.
It's not written down anywhere.
It's not, you know, there's not a rule
post on the refrigerator or anything like that.
Might be sometimes, but just to remind me,
but you know, but it's based on the relationship.
There are things I do for Mia based on my love for her
and my relationship with her.
That's not written down.
That's not, you know, a law, so to speak,
but it's the right thing to do based on the relationship.
And likewise in our own relationship with Christ,
we do have the word of God.
If you think of that as a love letter written to us,
then he's telling us all about himself,
everything we want to know about him.
He's revealing it to us through his word.
That relationship now produces this walk, this walking in the Spirit, this love, joy,
peace, long-suffering, all the fruit of the Spirit, based on relationship, not rules.
Yes. I was just thinking, Doc,
this popped in my mind.
Years ago, this is back when we lived in
Chattanooga, Tennessee and there was
a young man who was the age of my son,
and they were close friends.
So he was over at the place lots of times.
And anyhow, he was dating young woman and his girlfriend's mother was claimed to church every Sunday. But she got entangled in fortune telling and new age
things. And I warned her that she was playing with fire. And she said, Oh, no, no, no, I'm saved I can do anything I want I'm not gonna lose my salvation
whoa like I don't have an answer for you lady other than you're you're headed
for trouble she doesn't understand salvation no which made me wonder if she was saved. Right.
Okay. See, the sinful nature will behave differently than the spirit nature.
Somebody who's led by the spirit isn't going to have that conversation with you.
She was being led by her sin nature, not by the spirit.
So our thoughts steer actions and that makes the mind the battleground for our character. It's the battleground for the choices that we make.
People making decisions every day in their mind.
What they think about, what they reject.
Thoughts are coming at you every day. Every hour. Thoughts are coming at you every day every hour thoughts are coming towards you some
are from God some are from Satan some are from men some are from you there's thoughts
what are you supposed to do with these thoughts? Bring them into captivity? I only entertain the
thoughts that are of the Spirit. So, after the flesh means a life dominated by selfish sinful desires, worldly pleasures, ambitions, selfish living.
And that mindset will eventually lead to spiritual death and separation.
After the Spirit speaks of a life that's led by the Holy Spirit, always moving towards fulfilling God's purposes.
Praise God, yes.
Always seeking spiritual truth. Always seeking to be in alignment with the divine will.
will. There are no other options. A mind led by the flesh, a mind led by the spirit. Those are the two choices. There's no third, fourth, and fifth option.
Verse 6, for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. So the focus of your mind, flesh or spirit, determines your spiritual state and your eternal fate.
I wish I could get this across to some people.
Your mind's focus determines your spiritual state and your eternal fate. What are you
thinking about today? What did you think about all day yesterday? What did you
think about all day Saturday and Friday and Thursday? What dominates your mind? What dominates your mind determines your spiritual state,
and that determines your eternal fate. I'm amazed by people that claim to be Christians and yet have no control over their mouths,
no governor on their tongue. They just say what they want to say. That's not being led by the Spirit.
You've got two irreconcilable mindsets, carnal sinful nature fighting the spiritual divine
nature.
They're opposing forces and they're battling for control of your life. So thoughts govern behavior.
Thoughts shape actions.
What you put into your head
goes into your heart. What's in your heart
comes out your mouth. That's the cycle. If you don't like what's
going on in your life, change the flow. You can't change the process.
Mind, heart, mouth.
But you can change what's in your mind.
Yes, which will change what's in your heart
and will change what comes out of your mouth.
And what's coming out of your mouth
is going to determine what you do with your hands
and feet, the actions that you take. To be carly minded, quite frankly, is to be in a state of
hostility towards God. You can't be carly minded and be in a state of peace towards God.
Right. It's not a matter of indifference or apathy. You're in direct enmity.
Paul uses, you're an enemy of God.
It's unchecked rebellion.
Death spans spiritual alienation, worldly desires, worldly issues. And that can
include your emotions, your feelings. Your feelings and your emotions are worldly.
If the only thing you think about are your feelings and your emotions, you are a carnally-minded person.
And I think that's hitting home right now with a lot of people.
A lot of people are very sensitive about their feelings and their emotions, and they want everybody to know about their feelings and their emotions and they want everybody to know about their
feelings and their emotions. And you have to tiptoe around them and you have to think
about if I say this is that going to make somebody mad or that person's really worked
up today about their feelings. Look, if you're really worked up about your feelings and your emotions, you are carly-minded. You need to
be spiritually-minded. So, when Paul talks about life, he's talking about spiritual vitality, eternal communion with God, an ever-present connection to God's grace.
When he speaks of peace, he's talking about the reconciliation with God,
inner harmony that all is well between you and your Maker.
You're expressing through your peace that my life is okay with God.
I'm at peace with Him.
So the Holy Spirit renews the mind and the Spirit transforms our life. How does the Holy Spirit renew our mind?
By what you're doing right now. The study of the Word. The Word of God renews your mind.
If you just view the Word of God as heaven's soap, Every day you're coming to a Bible study, one hour a day,
you're giving your brain a bath. You're getting a one-hour brain bath every day.
You're renewing your mind with the Word of God. And the Word in you will transform your
life. You cannot be the same person a year from now that you are today if you
spend five hours a week studying the Word of God. It's impossible. It's just impossible. The word inside of you will change you.
Verse 7.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
A person with a carnal mind is actively hostile towards God.
And quite frankly, there's deep rooted rebellion in that person's life.
That's all there is to it. Rebellion and stubbornness.
That's why they cling to a carnal mind.
They are rebellious and they are stubborn.
And they're not giving up control of their mind.
No.
They're gonna think the way they wanna think,
they're gonna talk the way they wanna talk,
they're gonna act the way they wanna act, and they're not surrendering it.
They're going to claim the benefits of Christianity, but they're unwilling to submit to the Spirit because of deep rooted rebellion.
And that rebellion comes from hostility.
They defy God's sovereignty.
They refuse to submit to God. A lot of people in that state, a lot of people, they have an incapacity,
an unwillingness to submit to the law of God. They're blind to divine truth. They can't grasp it. They can't understand it. They live
in a darkened state. I shudder when I think about people like this. Because churches have them.
Every church has them.
Yes.
Let me tell you, they do.
They really, really do.
Yes.
Back when I was watching an old A.A. Allen video from the early 60s, and he told a story about a
man at one of his tent meetings, and he pointed that man out in the audience, 20,000 people
in the tent.
He pointed that man out.
And he said, you're in rebellion against God.
And the devil's telling you right now to get up and walk
out of this tent meeting.
And I'm telling you, if you do, there
will be immediate judgment on your life.
This is the last time God is dealing
with your rebellious heart.
That man got up and walked out.
And Alan pursued him out the tent, shouting at him.
There will be judgment on you.
Turn around and come back. And the man kept going.
Wow.
The following week he was in another city.
And a woman came up to him.
And she said, I have to talk to you about my husband.
And Alan immediately just knew in his spirit,
she's the wife of that man.
And he said, madam, what happened to your husband?
And she said, oh, he was so mad at you.
That night he went back to his bar
where all his buddies hang out and got in a fight with somebody
and he was stabbed to death.
He died that night.
Look, that's a trueated, hostility, anger rebellion against God, I'm not going
to submit.
I'm here, I'm going to pretend to be a Christian, but I am not going to submit.
Yeah.
I like all the trappings.
I like the idea of it,
but I refuse to submit.
I'm going to remain in my carnal mind.
Yes. Unrepentant carnality always faces divine wrath.
Unrepentant carnality always leads to judgment. It's an inescapable consequence
without the transformation power of the Holy Spirit. Only the Spirit, the grace that comes through the Holy Spirit can overcome mankind's natural
enmity against God.
At the core of our being, we don't want to submit. Verse 8, so then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
In the flesh means a life ruled by the sinful nature.
Right.
You're walking after the flesh, not after the spirit.
It's not just physical, it's mental, emotional, spiritual, fleshliness.
It applies to all unsaved people. It's the universal state of mankind outside of Christ.
Outside of Christ we were all living in the flesh, but living in the flesh
signifies a deep separation from God. You are estranged from your Heavenly Father.
Separated. Think about when a husband and wife are estranged, they're separated.
There's no communication. The emotional bonds have been broken. That's what,
that's where you're at.
When you're living in the flesh, you are estranged from your Heavenly Father.
And those in the flesh can't please God due to a total lack of alignment with His Holiness.
We go back to this rebellion, that the flesh rejects God's authority and is incapable and unwilling to submit to the desire and the ability to submit.
The more I study this, Doc, the more I realize how utterly lost I was.
Yes.
Rick, you were totally right. I'm totally to blame.
In my salvation, I didn't do anything right other than take hold of the grace and the
faith he gave me to believe. Yes. That's the only thing I did right. But had he not given me grace and faith, I would not have gotten saved.
He hands you the, he throws you the life preserver when you're drowning. Hey, put this on. You need this. If you don't wear
this, you're going to drown.
So the flesh binds individuals to the truth of God by sealing them in their spiritual
ruination, in their blindness. Let me say that again. The flesh binds individuals to God's truth.
It seals them in their spiritual ruin because they're blind. The state of divine judgment, it's unpleasing to God's nature.
He doesn't desire to judge anybody.
But these are choices that people make.
It's only divine grace that can shift this state.
It can move us from lost to saved.
So the Holy Spirit transforms us.
He aligns our heart with God's will.
And our salvation is completely a work of the Spirit in us.
And when we have a transformed life, we're free from the carnal flesh, and we desire to fulfill God's will, to be pleasing to Him.
Anything else, Doc?
No, we're setting the groundwork here for the rest of the chapter.
The whole chapter is going to be talking about walking in the spirit. And so Paul now, as we said beginning, made the legal case, developed
all the legal framework, if you will, the entire warranty, including the fine
print, as Rick liked to say. But now, how do you live that out? How do you, how do
you live that out in the real world? What does that mean? Yes, I understand now where we're at.
But what does that mean, living day to day?
And this is where Paul is taking us now and explaining all throughout chapter 8 here
that this journey now, this application of this understanding is now walking in the Spirit.
You were walking in the flesh, but now that you have the Holy Spirit has taken up residence in you,
now you're walking in the Spirit of God.
And Paul explains that throughout all of chapter 8. Yes. And I appreciate your prayers today for my full recovery. Amen. Okay. You know, we
began teaching faith and divine health and Satan said, I'm going to make this challenging for you.
All right.
Folks, we have the victory.
Amen.
We have the victory.
Over the weekend.
Look, I am never teaching that you'll never get sick.
I'm never teaching that.
What we're teaching is
you don't have to stay sick. And Doc, over the weekend, I was just reminding the Lord, my Jesus took stripes upon his body. My Jesus was nailed to a cross. I want everything he provided for me. Yes. I'm not
settling for anything less than all of it. If he went that far for me, I want it all.
Yes. That's my attitude. I want it all. If he loved me that much, if he was willing to go through that much pain and torture for me
that by his stripes, I'm healed. I want it. I want it
all. That's my attitude. I want you to have the same attitude.
That's not selfish. That's saying my Lord did something for
me. That's beyond my comprehension. If he loves me that much,
I am not going to disappoint him by not accepting everything he provided me. Amen.
And health is part of it. Amen. All right. Cheryl, bring it on. Amen.
Okay, I gotta go.
All right.
Praise the Lord.
