Some Spaniards are speculating openly that yesterday's bizarre, unusual blackout that hit Spain and spread to Portugal and France
may have been caused by a weather weapon controlled by Israel
in retaliation for Spain's growing anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian attitude.
Meanwhile, energy officials in Great Britain
cannot explain the unusual activity that caused unexplained
power fluctuations in that country on Sunday.
So this is true news for Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Let's begin our analysis and commentary by looking at
this London Telegraph article.
London Telegraph, Britain hit by unusual power activity hours before Spain
blackout. Doc, this adds mystery to the mysterious event that happened yesterday.
It sure does Rick. Britain's electricity grid operator is investigating an unexplained power plant failure that hit the UK system hours
before Spain and Portugal were plunged into blackouts. Control room staff at
the National Energy System operator observed unusual activity as they
described it on Sunday that saw the power frequency shift unexpectedly in
the early morning and the evening.
Keeping the frequency of the electricity system
within certain limits is vital to keeping the lights on.
Now, the first event began around 2 a.m.
with a power failure at the Kiedb2 gas-fired power plant
in Lincolnshire, followed by the unexplained failure
of the Viking Link Interconnector
between the UK and Denmark.
At around 6 p.m., the frequency shifted again unexpectedly
with the cause currently unknown.
And so it could be that this blackout event,
this unexplained phenomenon as was being described yesterday,
could have potentially impacted much more than Spain and Portugal
and portions of France.
It could have plunged all of Europe into darkness.
But why was it happening hours before it hit Spain?
It was happening hours before in Great Britain, before it hit Spain.
What was going on, Doc?
There's there's something to this story that we don't know yet.
Here's the sun in Great Britain.
Now, Spain opens sabotage probe amid chaotic scramble for cause of mass blackout
as unusual activity spotted in UK grid.
Yes, it says that a bombshell sabotage probe has been launched in Spain into
Monday's massive power outages amid a chaotic and often contradictory rush for
answers. A judge ordered the investigation today as local energy
officials revealed a crucial timeline pinpointing three mysterious events
leading up to the blackouts across
Spain, Portugal and southern France.
Now, the article says this, suspicions were raised of a Russian sabotage attack almost
immediately when the power failed following a campaign of similar plots to hit Europe.
Juan Moreno, president of the Andalusian regional government, said a cyber attack was the most likely cause,
the most likely cause, and claimed everything pointed towards a deliberate attack.
Spain's grid operators yesterday ruled out the cyber attack theory, though a national judge says it's still on the cards.
And so we're going to walk you through the timeline of events here, according to RID Electrica in Spain.
So if you're watching this by video,
we have on the screen there,
the beginnings of this timeline.
Spain's Electricity Board released a preliminary timeline
of the outages.
So Rick, it starts out 12.33 PM in the afternoon.
The grid suffers at quote, event unquote unquote akin to loss of power generation.
Second almost immediately the grid self stabilizes and recovers.
So there was some sort of event that looked like a loss of power and then it quickly recovered.
And then about 1.5 seconds later, a second event, akin to lost generation hits.
About three and a half seconds after that, Spain and France is interrupted due to grid instability.
And then immediately afterwards, a massive loss of renewable power, renewable power hits the system.
And then six, the power grid cascades into a collapse.
And this was all within seconds.
Right.
So, Doc, they're suggesting today a Russian cyber attack.
But let's remember what they said yesterday, due to extreme temperature variations
in the interior of Spain, there were anomalous oscillations
in the very high voltage lines, known
as induced atmospheric vibrations.
These oscillations caused synchronization failures
between the electrical systems leading to successive
disturbances across the interconnected European network
so
How can you have us? How can a cyber attack?
cause induced
atmospheric vibrations due to extreme temperature variations
Where where is the atmosphere connected to the internet?
That's a great question.
The only thing I can think of, Rick, is that power lines, I guess,
react to differences in temperature.
I didn't know that.
But they said admin.
But they said induced.
And this term induced atmospheric vibrations, nobody's heard of that term before.
But induced atmospheric, you know, it's like a coma has been induced.
Right.
So induced atmospheric vibrations, anomalous oscillations due to extreme temperature variations.
Again, how does a cyber attack control the atmosphere?
The atmosphere is not connected to the internet.
It's not, but the atmosphere is more disconnected from the Internet than you and I are voting machines.
All right. So there's no way to change the temperature.
In the atmosphere through the Internet.
So the whole concept of a cyber attack from Russia is nonsense and yet there's
a judge in Spain that launched a criminal probe to find out if it was
caused by a cyber attack. Well the judge obviously hasn't put two and two together
that hackers can't hack the atmosphere. But unless they're not telling us everything.
You can only hack the atmosphere if you're using a weather warfare weapon.
Yes, and there are very few countries that have that technology.
We're one of them, by the way.
That's right.
And I would assume Russia and China and maybe some other countries have it. Now, Doc, I ask AI today, what would
cause extreme temperature variations
and anomalous oscillations?
And this is the response I got.
Combination of factorsors Extreme temperature variations
Significant differences in temperature over relatively short distances or time periods can cause different parts of the power lines to expand or contract by varying rates.
Extreme temperature shifts can lead to rapid changes in air density around the power lines.
That can affect the aerodynamic properties of the lines
and their interaction with the surrounding air.
Localized weather phenomena, unusual,
and localized weather events,
such as strong localized temperature gradients
or specific wind patterns associated
with temperature variations can play a role.
Same thing, I asked about anomalous oscillations.
And AI said said induced atmospheric vibration
is not a standard recognized term
in the power system engineering vocabulary.
Or in meteorology either.
So who came up with this term?
Well, and had you ever heard anything like that?
Never, never.
So it says thermal expansion and contraction,
uneven temperature changes can cause the power lines
to physically move, expand and contract
in a non-uniform way.
This can lead to oscillations or swaying
beyond normal wind induced movement called galloping.
Differential expansion and contraction
can alter the tension
along the power lines,
potentially setting up vibrations,
synchronization failures,
interaction with ionized air,
corona discharge.
Well now, are they talking about the Sun?
Right. Yeah, they're talking about a plasma release from the sun.
And there was some speculation about that yesterday too.
Okay, extreme temperature variations coupled
with humidity or atmospheric conditions can affect
corona discharge around high voltage lines.
Physical movement and changes in the electrical environment
around the lines can lead to fluctuations in voltage,
current and frequency within the lines.
Loss of synchronization power grids rely on all connected
generators and loads operating in synchrony. Anomalous
electrical oscillations caused by the factors above can disrupt
this delicate balance leading to synchronization failures
between different parts of the network.
Well, now Rick, and I'm okay with that explanation.
However, you know, we've had electric grids
around the world, you know, for about 120 years now.
Right.
And have you ever heard of a blackout
caused by galloping power lines?
No.
That was a new one on me. No, I mean, power lines come down
because there's ice power lines come down because you know, a
tower falls or something like that. But because it's
galloping and galloping caused by temperature differentiation.
Remember yesterday they said due to extreme temperature
variations in the interior of
Spain, in the center of the country, like something was concentrated in the interior
section of Spain, in the atmosphere that caused extreme temperature variations.
Well, if you, did anybody feel the temperature
changing rapidly? Were there any reports of that? Did people
start taking their coats off? Wow, he's really getting hot.
It was so cold just an hour ago.
Yeah, are there changes in thermometers? We're not
thermometers going up and down?
I was like, what's going on?
Give me some evidence here that there were extreme temperature variations.
I don't know, Doc.
This story is weird.
I've got another one here.
Oh, so you found this and sent it over to me.
This is number two media line.
Spain's political break with Israel may undermine its own security.
So this article is only a few days old, April 28.
And it's talking about the political climate in Spain has changed to become anti-Israel
pro-Palestinian. Right. And this article, when you read it, says, you know, this change in our
attitude here in our country could hurt our national security. Right. Well, how could it hurt it?
Could there be
extreme temperature variations and oscillations? Yes, in the relationship
between Spain and Israel, yes. Well what about in the atmosphere? Because did
Spain do anything in the last week that ticked off Israel? Well look at April 24
here's Polit political Europe.
Spain terminates Israeli ammo contract
after uproar threatened to topple coalition.
Right. So this article, this from political Europe, by the way, it's a Spain.
Now, this happened just a few days ago, last Thursday, I believe.
Spain will back out of a contract
to purchase Israeli arms, a government official said Thursday, in a bid to quell the backlash
that nearly split the country's coalition government.
So this was a very divisive thing that happened here.
One week ago.
Yes.
After the Spanish press revealed that Madrid had ordered 15 million bullets from the Israeli
military firm last fall, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced the 6.6 million euro contract
would be nixed.
Spain is one of the most outspoken European critics of Israel's military operation in
Gaza.
It has maintained an embargo on purchasing or selling weapons from and to the country since 2023.
But on Wednesday, that's on April 23rd,
the Kadena Sir Radio Network revealed
that the controversial contract to acquire millions
of rounds of nine millimeter ammunition
had not been canceled after all, as of April 23rd last week.
So they had said for nearly a year that they had
canceled this contract but the contract was really still in place and a member of
the media got it. A radio network there in Spain got a hold of this story and
ran with it. Although Spain's Ministry of Interior, which is purchasing the
bullets to outfit the country's Civil Guard police force, moved to cancel the order.
Its legal experts ultimately concluded that the deal could not be annulled without causing
substantial, legal, and financial strife.
But once the news broke about it, Spain yesterday, I mean last Thursday, backed out of that contract,
which means they have to pay the contract out and not receive the ammunition from Israel.
And so this adds another level of mystery to the events over the past several days.
And Spain has also recognized the state of Palestine.
That's right. They sure have.
Officially, they've said there is a country called Palestine.
Ireland is another country that has done it. So Spain is out in the forefront of defending
the Palestinian people and criticizing the Israelis for the way they've treated them.
Now, I asked you a question before we got started here today, Rick. You know,
I'm not an expert on history by any stretch of the imagination,
but I've read a few history books along the way.
And I can't recall a single incident or tussle
or argument or quarrel or wrestling match
between Spain and Russia.
I can't either.
And yet that was the first go-to.
Well, there have been controversies involving
Spain and Jews.
Yes, and Spain and Israel in particular, especially
right now.
So if I was going to say there's a motive out there
between Russia and Israel, who would have a motive?
Israel would.
Right.
I mean, 500 years ago, Spain kicked all the Jews out of the country.
And they've done it twice in history.
I'm not saying Israel did it, but I'm asking if you're going to blame Russia on the first
step, then start asking some questions and see who else had a beef with
Spain or Portugal and start working backwards from there.
Alright.
So, well, Doc, let's take a look here in World War III.
Another story, London Telegraph.
Germans too mentally weak for war, says its former president. I had to read this article when I saw the headline.
Germans are too mentally weak to cope with war, the former president has suggested as
he warned his country needed to build up resilience as well as military strength.
Doc, can you imagine a former president of the United States saying the American people mentally are not ready to go to
war with China?
Well, they're not. They're not. We know that. But for him to
say it out loud. Right. And this this gentleman did. Yolkum
Goch, I believe that's the correct pronunciation,
served as Germany's president from 2012 to 2017.
Said he was concerned that Germany's goal becoming a major European security power could not be achieved by ramping up weapons productions.
He said,
What concerns me is not just a military weakness, but a mental one that we are not
sufficiently prepared and not technically, and not just technically, but in terms of
emotion, morality and politics.
We need a new seriousness.
He said this in an interview with Mr. Philip Sandman, a Washington, D.C. based German journalists. Now, Doc, Mr.
Mr. Gawk
was a pastor.
Oh, I didn't realize that. No, he was.
And and
I think he was
I think he was I know he was he was
under surveillance by the East German Stasi.
I don't know if he ever served in prison, but he does have a history in Germany of speaking
out about the Soviet Union.
So you do have to take the man seriously.
Yes, pastor in East Germany.
I didn't realize that. All right.
Newsweek.
Now, this one, pay attention to this one.
NATO plotting takeover of Russia's Baltic
stronghold, Putin aid claims.
And that's the headline of Newsweek.
And then the actual story comes from the TAS news agency
Nikolai Pertusev
This is the interview the contours of the victory in the
war are already clearly visible and
We got some key points in this I'm gonna going to read the first paragraph and it says,
on the eve of the anniversary of the victory,
it's talking about the May 9th Victory Day parade in Russia,
the Russian victory, the Allies victory over the Nazis
in World War II, we bow our heads before the feet
of the heroes of the great patriotic war
who showed their best
personal qualities to defend the motherland, crush fascism, and give peace.
Their courage became an example for all generations.
Today, the participants in the special military operation, like their grandfathers and their
great grandfathers, are fighting in the name of eradicating the anti-human ideology of
Nazism.
The contours of our victory are already visible, clearly visible," said Pertrushev.
At the same time, as in the years of World War II, humanity is again faced with a choice,
a new bloody massacre or a just world order,
where every country has the right to sovereignty and security now we're going to get into a
very
Extremely
Dangerous warning that he's if this is true. We're going to find out here in the coming weeks or months
the article quotes forashir Shaf as saying, despite desperately opposing global changes, Brussels, Berlin,
Paris and a number of other European capitals are again following the shameful path of flirting
with the Nazis, deploying the military machine against Russia and
starting to to delusions with scenarios of a nuclear apocalypse. Yes. For the
second year in a row, NATO is conducting the largest exercises in decades near our
borders where it works out scenarios for long-distance offensive operations from
Vilnius to Odessa, the capture of the Kaliningrad region,
blocking navigation in the Baltic and Black Sea, preventive strikes on the places of permanent
bases of Russian nuclear deterrence forces." Specifically, the Baltic region is what he's mentioning.
He's saying that NATO right now are either conducting exercises for the seizure of Kaliningrad.
Right. And Kaliningrad is that little piece of Russia that sits off by itself.
Next to Finland.
Right.
It's like a little island. It's not an island, but it's an enclave.
Right.
It's Russian territory. They but it's an enclave. It's Russian territory.
They won it in World War II.
And it became, after World War II, it became Russian territory.
It was part of the settlement.
When the Allies settled the war, they carved it up and they got, Stalin got Kaliningrad.
And they have nukes there, Doc.
So right now, NATO is conducting exercises in that very region, once again, to seize
it, to seize Kaliningrad, according to Pertrushchev.
Yes.
Now, he goes on to name names in other areas of Europe too.
Keir Starmer threatens our country with the dubious power of the long-worn British fleet and the nuclear weapons on board its
submarines. He is echoed by Ursula Vanderlijn, Mark
Ruthie and other functionaries. London today is most zealously eager to
enter the Black Sea region. England has already established a mine
action coalition and now plans to escort merchant ships
with its ships of its navy. So in other words, Petrushev is under the conviction
that the UK plans to occupy the Black Sea, the other side of Europe. Westerners categorically
do not want to admit
that the world contrary to their scenarios
is undergoing a transformation.
The unipolar Western-centric world
has outlived its usefulness.
Multi-polarity is emerging.
De facto, the economic and political agenda
is already being formed by countries
that represent the global majority and
whose opinion has been ignored by the West for many years.
Doc, imagine the Russian Navy taking control of the Gulf of America and
escorting ships to Mexico and Central America.
Well, I'll put it even in closer context for the UK.
Imagine Russian ships parking themselves in the English Channel.
Mm-hmm.
And taking control of the English Channel.
Right.
Well, I mean, to the Russians, that's the very same thing.
That's right.
So that's what he's saying is coming.
And NATO is carrying out war games on this. Now the next story is Newsweek.
Russia's GRU spies tasked with ultra-urgent European mission, according to a report.
And this is Russia's Foreign Ministry, Foreign Military Intelligence Agency, the GRU. Now, GRU is what Stanislav Lunov was a colonel in the GRU.
It's like the Defense Intelligence Agency of the Russian military. And so it says,
the Russia's Foreign Military Intelligence Agency, GRU, has tasked its agents to collect
information about Kremlin critics to potentially deploy
active measures against them, according to an independent Russian language investigative
outlet in a telegram post on Tuesday, and it's a non-governmental organization. It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization.
It's a non-governmental organization. It's a non-governmental organization. It's a non-governmental organization. It's a non-governmental organization. It's a non-governmental organization. is looking to collect data on quote, opinion leaders in Europe who disagree
with the Russian government.
End of quote, this would include politicians,
journalists, bloggers, cultural figures
and other prominent figures who could face hostile actions.
Right, so the article in Newsweek goes on to say Rick
that the investigation by the Dossier Center
comes amid warnings that the GRU
is escalating a campaign of sabotage and subversion against the West. Now the Dossier
Center's post said that Russian agents had been tasked by their superiors in early 2025 to collect
data on Kremlin critics influencing public opinion urgently. The information included sources of
funding and personal data such as work and home
addresses of politicians, journalists, bloggers, cultural figures, and other famous people.
The outlet said that various hostile actions can be prepared based on data obtained with the help
of agents and through one-off online recruitment of perpetrators who could be criminals or from
far- right groups.
The Post did not describe what kind of actions would be carried out.
Still it referred to intelligence that an assassination attempt was being prepared against
Alexander Shorrev, who is said to be behind the Telegram channel, which Post lured details
about Kremlin intrigue and Russian security services.
Now it's interesting that this Newsweek article,
look what they have in the image here.
Yes, DHL.
So now nowhere in this article did it talk about,
we're gonna get to talk about here in just a moment,
the DHL flights that were supposedly sabotaged last year.
Right, but that's the- But they're priming you right now to say,
look, remember those DH planes, DHL planes that went down?
And now look, Russia's GRU spies are going to be doing
all sorts of dastardly deeds all over Europe.
Yes.
Okay, so let's take this article piece by piece.
So let's take this article piece by piece. So there's a there's a anti Putin telegram channel that was funded by Mikhail Gordovsky.
Again, he's a I don't even remember if he's still alive.
He was Putin had him in prison for a while.
He was trying to, he was trying, talk 20 some years ago, he was trying to move
Russia's natural resources into the hands of the West.
That's 20 some years ago I was reporting on this guy.
So what they're saying is that there's a telegram channel
that's funded by Kudovsky that is anti Kremlin, anti Putin,
and that they have posted a report that the Russian military GRU,
that is the equivalent of their Defense Intelligence Agency,
has sent out an urgent assignment to GRU spies in Europe
to gather information on key people in Europe, politicians, news journalists, bloggers,
cultural figures, prominent figures who could face hostile action,
meaning they're probably going to take them out.
Assassinations or that's the implication.
That's the implication.
Doc. We've been in World War
Three since 2022, we are now moving into an extremely dangerous phase of World War III where podcasters, bloggers,
news reporters are going to get blown up in their homes? They're going to open the car door to get in the cars going to explode
This is a very dangerous time this might be
One of the reasons doc that the Holy Spirit has said it's time
True news has done its work. It's time
to go to go dark and
work on something else like leading children to Christ. Anybody gonna blow us up for leading children to Christ?
Not yet.
But we are moving into an a period of time
in World War Three that civilians who are taking an active stand on one side or
the other of World War III are going to lose their lives.
See, this is not your regular war.
World War III is not being fought like World War II.
It's a different style of warfare. And I'm going to say there's
probably a lot of truth in this article.
But at the same time, keep in mind that Khodorkovsky is Russia's George Soros too.
Yes, absolutely.
And so I'm sure that the Russians are
monitoring people that are talking about them. But do you think really
that Russia is going to get down into the weeds and the muck and the swamp
and and go after some podcaster? Yes, yes, I do, Doc. I don't know. I
know. This is a this is a propaganda war. I understand that this is a propaganda war right now and
I think I think yes, they are going to go after people that are influencing the minds of people
now the article mentioned I
said the
The post did not describe what kind of actions would be carried out, still would refer to intelligence that an assassination attempt
was being prepared against Alexander.
Is this a Shura Shura rev,
who is said to be behind the telegram channel,
which post details about the Kremlin.
Now let's go down to the next story, the insider
Latvia confirms incident involving founder of outlet
known for Russia, Russian intelligence scoops. This is dated April 8. So the Latvian intelligence
agency confirmed that there was a quote incident involving the founder of this telegram channel. And Doc, I can't find any
later articles that indicate whether this man is alive or dead.
That's interesting. Okay.
Or he's gone deep underground. You know, the Western intelligence agencies
have said, you got to go.
We got to we got to hide you somewhere.
We've got an old Osama bin Laden cave.
We'll put you in it.
And you're going to stay there for a while.
Now, London Telegraph.
The Russian spy accused of hiring disposable agents to firebomb European airports.
Disposable agents working for a colonel in the Russian GRU spy agent committed arson
attacks on airports in Britain and elsewhere in Europe in July last year,
a German media investigation has claimed.
And that's the guy that they said
was organizing it for the GRU.
Augustin says, European intelligence sources believe
the GRU recruited single use agents
to carry out the sabotage, targeting DHL logistics centers
in Birmingham and at the Lipsig-Halle airport in Germany, as well as a transport hub in
Warsaw.
So, an agent identified as Alexander S allegedly shipped the
parcels containing incendiary devices from a DHL branch in the Lithuanian
capital Vilnius. They later caught fire while in transit in a serious
escalation of Russia's hybrid war campaign in Europe. Disposable agents are
criminals, radicals, or other outsiders recruited by Russia
to carry off one-off attacks in Europe
with the promise of fast cash or other perks,
including luxury vehicles.
And if you recall, this is from last year.
These are a couple of the incidents
that were caught on camera here.
You see the plane coming in the background?
And then you're gonna see the explosion
behind the building there, and then there's another angle of the explosion. So that's a DHL plane coming in the background and then you're going to see the explosion behind the building there and then there's another angle of the
explosion so that's a DHL plane coming in right so that's the crash there and
then I think there's another smaller video that has a close-up of the
explosion as someone else had another angle on it afterwards. And so now up to this time,
there's been a lot of speculation about how and why
these things happened.
And of course, it's been cast on Russia.
Rick, do you think Russia was involved in these?
Well, I don't know, but Doc, I'm not rolling it out.
We're in World War III.
Right.
That's like saying in 1942, do you think, do you think Germany blew up something?
Do you think the Russians blew up?
I mean, it was both sides were blowing up things.
That's what they do in a war.
They blow up things.
It goes on every day for years.
We're in World War III.
Just like, remember at the beginning of the war, the food plants in America that were
burning down?
Sure, Yes. Well, people, you know, a lot of Americans who, you know, I don't like using the term
conspiracy theorists here, but they were saying, well, you know, it's it's our government burning
down our warehouses to control the food supply.
Well, no, what I was saying then is, folks, you have to understand we're in World War
Three.
You've got other countries that are going to destroy your food supply.
The public has yet to figure this out that we're in a war and the war has the war started in 2022.
It is it's ramping up, doc. It's becoming more serious. And I think we're going to see some more dramatic, much more dramatic things happening in the second half of this year. Yes. Today, during a public lecture in Moscow,
he addressed the, what's the name of the organization?
I think it was called Knowledge First.
Yes, Knowledge First.
Yes.
And he addressed the threat of Nazi ideology.
Right.
So he said, the rebirth of Nazism cannot be allowed in any nation.
And Europe may need an international listen.
Europe. He's now taking this beyond Ukraine.
When the war started in twenty two.
Mr. Putin and Mr.
Mavitov said we're going to denazify Ukraine.
Right. Mavitov is now saying we're going to denazify Ukraine. Right. Medvedev is now saying we're going to denazify Europe.
Yes.
So Europe may need an international denazification effort.
He.
Characterized the destruction of the Kiev neo-Nazi regime
as necessary outcome of the Ukraine conflict before arguing for a broader
decisive action by multiple states. All measures need to be taken to ensure that such regimes
never arise in any other nation the price is too high. So basically he's saying Russia is still fighting the Nazis now. Doc, he said.
And the destruction of the Ukraine neo-Nazi regime.
He said, before arguing for a broader decisive action
by multiple states.
That means more countries are coming into this war.
This or to denazify it before other countries come in
Yes, but he's saying by multiple states
He's saying this war is going to be expanded to more nations
Yes, you're right more nations are going to join Russia in D. Notifying Europe
Wow
It's it got serious here today a mevett of stress the distinction between the current Ukrainian government whom he branded
bloody freaks and
Ukrainian state saying that his future was uncertain. Officials in Kiev are cutthroats who are sending peaceful citizens of their own nation to the
slaughter without a second thought, are not qualified to govern Ukraine.
He stressed that a regime founded on the neo-Nazi ideology has no right to exist.
He said Russia's victory in the war,
which he considers inevitable,
will serve as the first step
toward a sustainable peace in Europe
and the creation of a fairer, multipolar world.
Wow.
Doc, that is a declaration of war on the entire West.
Yes, or at least the Nazi West.
The entire West. Yeah.
We've got some.
We'll show you here in a moment. Here's the task news agency. The
vet of believes that threat of nuclear apocalypse is still here.
That's right. So Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council addressed participants
in the educational marathon Knowledge First.
He emphasizing that although the specter
of nuclear catastrophe has somewhat receded,
it continues to loom as a persistent threat.
He says, the nuclear threat is often represented
by a clock, Mavette explained.
They say that the Doomsday Clock has moved closer to midnight
or conversely has retreated.
In my view, not long ago, the hands were nearly overlapping.
And I say this not to make an impression,
but because that was the reality.
It was a sobering and frightening situation.
Currently, the clock has moved slightly
in the opposite direction.
So from the Russian point of view,
and this is what I'm understanding
from this quote here, Rick,
is that the hands were at midnight, not that long ago.
Am I understanding that right?
Like between November of 2024 and January 20, 2025, the last weeks of Biden's regime.
Which is what we said to our audience, that from the election day until the inauguration
was an extremely dangerous time.
Because the Russians were going to be on guard for a last-minute move by the West
to take out the Russians before Donald Trump got in the White House.
Right.
And so what Mr. Medvedev is saying is, yeah, that's exactly, we were ready for nuclear war.
And he mentioned Donald Trump in his address. He said that Donald Trump's candid observation that World War Three nearly erupted over Ukraine,
describing it as a correct and simple statement.
He said, his predecessor, regardless of the state of his mental faculties, repeatedly
insisted that it was all fabricated by the Russians, that there was no real threat.
And while the situation has somewhat improved, the danger has by no means disappeared,
Medvedev said.
Now, he recalled the humanities creations,
particularly weapons have always been put into action.
He's right about that.
This is an irreversible course of history,
referring to the potential use of nuclear weapons,
he warned, that is why such a scenario remains possible.
He says, our responsibility is to stabilize the global situation through every means available, including dialogue with the United States.
As the world's leading nuclear powers, we still hold a significant influence over other nations and must use it to prevent catastrophe.
And then we have a video this is from the speech that he gave today. He said
NATO's newest member Sweden and Finland are now potential nuclear targets of the
Russian Federation. Doc is going to read the English subtitles.
Let's watch.
Let's be honest.
There is not a single country that strengthened its security as a result of joining NATO.
Poland, the Baltic states, and more recently Finland and Sweden are good examples of this.
The status of non-Alian countries gave them certain advantages due to their geopolitical
position and many other factors.
Now they are in a hostile block towards us.
This means that they automatically became a target for our armed forces, including possible retaliatory strikes, possibly even
nuclear, or preventive measures within the framework of the Russian military doctrine.
Stop and think about what he just said today in Russia.
By joining NATO, you became a target, a nuclear target.
Yes.
Is that a threat?
No, I think it's a promise by Russia.
It's a statement of fact.
Middle East monitor, Trump allies say
Mossad agents and warmongers are trying to derail
the US-Iran talks.
Yes, this has been a trend among some of the folks
on the right, some of the major podcasts.
You see Tucker Carlson pictured
in that Middle East Eye article there.
The article says,
Masad agents and warmongers are pushing the US
into a conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Now those lines aren't from state-run news agencies in Tehran,
but some of U.S. President Donald Trump's closest media allies and supporters.
Last week, conservative talk show host Tucker Carlson featured a senior Department of Defense
official who claimed he was ousted because he was seen as an obstacle to the U.S. bombing Iran.
Dan Caldwell, a top adviser to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, was removed from the Pentagon
on charges of allegedly leaking classified information about Hegseth's use of a signal chat.
Not so by Carlson's telling who has unparalleled access to Donald Trump.
You did make maybe one career mistake by giving on-the-record interviews describing your foreign
policy views that are out of the mainstream among warmongers in Washington, Carl said
to Caldwell, adding that I read all of a sudden that you're a traitor.
Now on Sunday, another conservative podcaster, Clayton Morris, a former Fox News anchor,
said pro-Israel voices were working overtime to destroy the anti-war team that Donald Trump
had assembled at the Pentagon.
We've learned here at Redacted that former Israeli Mossad agents are working overtime
on social media and behind the scenes trying
to discredit Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Morris said, referring to his show.
But he didn't name the so-called former agents.
Rick, this is a new atmosphere here, isn't it?
Yes, I'm proud of these young men.
And I was the trailblazer. We were we were the tip of the spear a decade ago,
more than a decade ago, talking about Zionism.
We took.
We took the brunt of the attack,
you know, for criticizing Israel.
We made it safe for Tucker Carlson.
We made it safe for Clayton Morris and others to question Zionism.
And I'm real proud of them.
I'm not needed anymore, Doc. I've fulfilled my role.
I've completed my assignment.
And there's a new team.
There's a new team of podcasters who get it.
You know, I could go down a list of them spiritually.
I don't know where they're all at.
I see Tucker Carlson moving in great strides in the right direction towards Christ.
Some of the other ones I'm not too sure of,
so I'm not going to talk about where they're at spiritually.
But politically, they're connecting the dots.
They're putting the pieces together.
And...
Do you think that they're just now putting the pieces together
or they're more open to sharing it because the pieces
have been obvious for so long.
Well, but Doc, a lot of people mentally, emotionally cannot put it together because it's too terrifying.
You know what's going to happen to you if you start putting it together and saying it. But the Gaza, the Israeli Zionists
made a major mistake by slaughtering
20,000 Palestinian children.
The outrage is so great.
The mask came off, people said,
that's what Zionism looks like.
They'll kill children, slaughter them.
And they're proud of it, and they'll kill more
if they could.
And now it's safe to speak the truth about Zionism.
And people have come to realize that there is a power that's controlling this country.
It's a foreign nation.
And so they're speaking out. Now, whether
Clay Morris has, you know, evidence that there are Mossad agents working, you know, I mean,
it doesn't sound outrageous to me. It sounds very logical to me that the Israelis would
want Donald Trump to bomb Iran. That's nothing outrageously out of the picture.
Yeah, why bomb it yourself when you can have someone else do it for you?
But then Mr. Trump put in a woman that worked for the Israeli Defense
Force, and he just put her in the National Security Council.
Right. Those are the things he does.
I get I'm puzzled by some of his actions.
It's good to like the next story.
Yeah. OK. Arab.
The Arab Weekly Trump further strains Egypt ties
by calling for US ships to cross the Suez Canal free of charge.
So President Trump has shocked Egyptians
and sparked a wave
of outrage in the country after he called Saturday for US military and
commercial ships to be allowed to travel through the Suez Canal as well as the
Panama Canal free of charge. So he made this statement on truth social. Right.
Now American ships both military and commercial should be allowed to travel
free of charge through the Panama and Suez canals.
Those canals would not exist without the United States of America.
I've asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio to immediately take care of and memorialize the situation.
By the way, we did sign an agreement with Panama to do exactly that here a few weeks ago.
So that part of it's done.
But the Suez Canal situation's a whole different bag of
tricks there, isn't it Rick? Oh it is. And the Egyptians were furious about
this demand. You know, the U.S. did not build the Suez Canal. You can't make the
argument, well, you know, the Americans built the canal. No, we didn't.
It's an Egyptian canal. What he's saying is, well, we're the ones who are defending it.
Well, we give three billion dollars a year to Egypt. Right. I mean, in a way, we're paying for
it, right? I mean, I'm just looking at it from his perspective. Yes. So in return for that three
billion, he says our ship should go through the canal free of charge.
He got a strong point.
Right. So Egyptian member of parliament Mustafa Bakri criticized President Trump's remarks,
describing them as an attempt at blackmail.
He also posted on X stressing that the Suez Canal is purely Egyptian.
Bakri said Trump's remarks were motivated
by Egypt's rejection of the plan to displace
and liquidate the Palestinian cause.
The Egyptian member of parliament warned
against a US attempt to control the Red Sea.
Alaa Mubarak, the son of former Hosni Mubarak,
called on Donald Trump to wise up,
adding, enough with this nonsense.
And who, who is the Egyptian army doing drills with?
China.
That's right.
This is the kind of stuff that we do that pushes nations into the arms of the
Chinese or the Russians, the way we treat allies.
Chinese or the Russians. The way we treat allies.
The Jewish News Syndicate had a conference a few days ago, and one of the speakers was
former U.S. Senator Norm Coleman, who is a member of the tribe. And he made a very interesting statement of fact, talking about who owns social media
in this country.
And that those platforms should be used for the benefit of the Zionist agenda.
Let's watch, listen to what he said.
A majority of Gen Z have an unfavorable impression
of Israel.
And my friends, I think the reason of that is
that we're losing the digital war.
Okay, they're getting their information from TikTok
and whatever it is, and we're losing that war.
When you think about it, the masters of the universe are Jews
You know, we've got old minute AI we got Zuckerberg. We got Sergei friend
We got the whole group across the board Jan Combs, you know head of what's up founded. What's that?
It's us and we have to figure out a way to win the digital battle
Amelia we got to get our digital sneakers on so that the truth can prevail over the
lies.
And when we do that, the future of Israel will be stronger because a majority of all
Americans will support Israel.
We'll make that happen.
We have to make it happen.
Thank you, Barak Haftian.
Thank you.
The masters of the universe are Jews.
Those are his words.
The masters of the universe are Jews.
We've got to get people to like us again.
Doc, if I made a meme that said, masters of the universe are Jews.
Oh yeah, they'd run you out of town on a rail.
But a former member of the U.S. Senate, whose Jewish can say it.
In an open forum, recorded for all the world to see.
And streamed and then identified who the masters are.
Zuckerberg, he went down the list of them.
And what he's saying is, hey, we built the social media platforms, we own them, and we've
lost control of the narrative.
Right.
Meaning, what do you got to do?
You have to censor people on social media.
That's where they're going next.
Not asking the question, well, wonder why
people are so upset with us.
Right.
Could it be those 20,000 Palestinian kids
that we killed?
Nah, it can't be that, Rick.
Well, while we're talking about people in
Israel who like to kill kids and want to kill children, Ben Gevier who's in the
cabinet was in Washington DC in the past week and this is a video of him he's
being confronted by Code Pink.
And he was on his way to a meeting with my dear old friend, Brian Mass, my congressman
here, the man I ran against.
But I want you to see how brazenly offensive this man is inside the U.S. Congress, how
he talks to American citizens. Let's watch. You are a war criminal! You are a war criminal! You abuse hatred!
You are disgusting!
And you destroy my religion!
You destroy my religion!
When you are a key figure!
You beat him to hate, you are a racist, you are a criminal, and you're hurting people!
You are hurting my religion! my religion as a Jew.
You are creating the anti-Semitism.
I never supported 9-11. You support genocide.
You're destroying Judaism with hate.
Baby killer, extremist, racist, and victimizer,
and the club of genocide.
Get out of our house!
We don't want you here!
And you're destroying my religion!
You're creating anti-Semitism! Shame on you!
There's a Jew yelling at a Jew. Sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss I never thought I'd be at the point where I'm in agreement with code pink.
But let's say this about Minister Gevier, he lives for these moments.
He loves it.
He thrives on it.
He loves fighting.
He loves it, Doc. And he was going
to see Brian Mast, Florida congressman. Okay, Mike Huckabee,
let's talk about dear old Ambassador Mike Huckabee,
because he was at the same event, the Jewish News
Syndicate. And we have several video clips of him speaking there.
And so we'll start the first one.
He's telling us, he's telling the audience, which almost 98% are Jewish audience.
It's America that benefits in the relationship with Israel. It's not Israel. It's America that's in the relationship with Israel.
It's not Israel, it's America that's coming out as the winner.
Here's Ambassador Mike Huckabee.
I want Americans to understand that our relationship with our ally Israel is not a one-way street.
It is not that Israel benefits so greatly because of its relationship to America.
It is also that America benefits greatly from its relationship to Israel.
We are the beneficiary.
I can't believe I voted for him for president.
What year was that?
2008? Was it 2008?
I think so. It's all a blur.
Somewhere around. I did. I voted for him in the Republican
primary. I was before my eyes open, Doc.
Well, I mean, I asked a question. And you know, what are, how do we benefit from a relationship
with Israel?
What are the benefits that we receive?
And so I asked Grock that question.
And Grock gave me, you know, five or six answers.
All of them have to do with military.
Every one of them.
Okay. with military, every one of them. Okay, whether it comes to our the position of Israel in the Middle
East or the technology that Israel supposedly shares with us after they got it from us,
defense cooperation, economic ties, but the economic ties don't count because it's overwhelmingly out of balance between America and Israel.
I mean, what do we get from Israel that we can't already produce here?
I don't know.
I can't think of anything.
You know, except stuff that's made in some of the markets in Jerusalem, but even that stuff's made in China.
And so I'm just not convinced.
I don't know how my Huckabee is convinced,
except he has to tell the audience something.
Yeah, he's gotta tell the story.
So the next one, Doc, he says,
he's a firm believer that Israel is a chosen place for chosen people.
And listen very closely to something he says about himself.
Listen closely.
Here's Huckabee.
It's a great reminder that yes, I believe that Israel is a chosen place for a chosen people, for a chosen purpose.
And I say that not because I'm Jewish, I say it because it's true.
And I affirm that which has been the truth for 3,500 years.
This is his land.
Did he?
Should we play it again? Did he say he's Jewish? I thought he was a
Baptist. I thought so too. Did he convert? It confirms what I suspected for a long
time that these Christian Zionists are secretly converting to Judaism. Yes. Listen again.
He said, I'm saying this not because I am Jewish.
Those are his words.
Let's watch again.
It's a great reminder that, yes, I believe that Israel is a chosen place
for a chosen people, for a chosen purpose.
And I say that not because I'm Jewish,
I say it because it's true.
And I affirm that which has been the truth for 3,500 years.
This is his land.
Why didn't he say, I say it not because I'm a Christian.
He exactly says, I don't say this because I'm Jewish.
Because I'm Jewish.
Not because I'm Jewish, but because I'm Jewish.
He said that.
He didn't say it like, hey, I'm not Jewish.
I believe this.
He said, because I'm Jewish.
Yes, and when you sent this over to me earlier today, I played it back when he said that I just about jumped out of my chair.
These people need to be questioned. They need to be questioned. Have you converted to Judaism? I think John Hagee is another one. I suspected I have for years I thought John Hagee has converted to Judaism.
I think Paula White has.
has converted to Judaism. I think Paula White has.
I do too.
And I believe that they are
closet Kabbalah practitioners.
I mean, Mike Huckabee went to the West Bank in 2020
and laid a cornerstone there.
Just like a mason.
So, I mean...
Oh, boy. The news is ending this week, Rick.
Yep.
I got Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Well we have one more cut of Mike Huckabee saying something interesting at the Jewish
New Syndicate Brujaha.
Okay.
All right.
Let's watch.
All right.
That to be Jewish is to be a target. When I tell
people I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, I don't do it because I'm supposed to, or it's a slogan.
I do it because I really believe that ever, if there were a time in all of human history,
that a people deserved security and safety and sovereignty over the
land that God gave them 3500 years ago when he gave the title deed to Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob.
If there ever was a time that the city of Jerusalem should be absolutely recognized as
the indisputable, undivided capital of the Jewish people. It is now and I'm glad
Donald Trump the president admitted and acknowledged that.
So Governor or Ambassador Huckabee as a former Baptist, former Christian,
apparently you've renounced Christ. I assume you have. You said you're Jewish, I assume you've renounced Christ.
But back when you were a Christian and a Baptist pastor, you knew about 70 AD.
You knew about Jesus's prophecy
just before the the crucifion, and he told the disciples that the temple would
be destroyed.
And not just the temple, Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, and not one stone would be left unturned.
So how can you say that that city that pretends to be Jerusalem, and it's not Jerusalem, Jerusalem
is underground
in the rubble.
Yes, there is no, there was no Jerusalem.
It was either, either Mike Huckabee is correct, or Jesus, if Mike Huckabee is correct, then
that means Jesus is a liar.
Which one is it?
Jesus can't lie.
Jesus said that the city would be destroyed.
The temple would be destroyed.
It was destroyed.
There is no historical record anywhere that the city of Jerusalem was ever rebuilt.
There was another city built on top of it by the Romans called Capitol Talonia.
That's what you are living in when you when he's over there
in Jerusalem, he's he's in a Roman city.
And they that they later renamed Jerusalem, but it was Capitolonia.
And it wasn't built to the God of Israel was built to the to the Roman gods.
Jupiter and Mercury. Yes.
They built the temple to Jupiter and Mercury on the very site
where the Jewish temple was
Well, oh well, I've got a lot more I'd love to go through what I'm so out of time right now I'm going to skip through some things real quick guys. Let's jump down to number 26. I'm just going to hit headlines
New York Post White House blast China a, Amazon over tariff surcharge label.
Apparently, well, there was a story circulating today that Amazon was going to put on every
item that came from China the tariff fee.
Right.
That's punk bull news that were reported this very
very early this morning like around 536 o'clock this morning. So then White House
press secretary Caroline Lovett went before cameras and announced Amazon
this watch. I will take this since I just got off the phone with the president
about Amazon's announcement.
This is a hostile and political act by Amazon.
Why did Amazon do this when the Biden administration hiked inflation to the highest level in 40
years?
And I would also add that it's not a surprise because as Reuters recently wrote, Amazon
has partnered with a Chinese propaganda arm.
So this is another reason why Americans should buy American. It's another reason why we are
on shoring critical supply chains here at home to shore up our own critical supply chain
and boost our own manufacturing here.
Is Jeff Bezos still a Trump supporter?
Look, I will not speak to the president's relationships with Jeff Bezos, but I will
tell you that this is certainly a hostile and political action by Amazon.
And, Secretary, if you have anything to add.
Yeah, I would also add that bringing down the terrible Biden infliction has been a priority
for the first hundred days of the Trump administration, and President Trump has done a great job
of leading that since January 20th.
Secretary...
Yeah, a little slip of the tongue there.
So, but apparently something happened this afternoon and there's rumors there was a phone call
between Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump because this Bloomberg article says
Amazon's denying tariff
label plans after White House criticism.
But they did admit that they had a committee talking about it.
That's right.
I think it was more than committee.
But they have to come out and say something here.
It's one of our junior league teams out there.
They were just tossing ideas around.
That's one of them. Now, the next one, I want you to see this They were just tossing ideas around. Yeah.
Now the next one, I want you to see this, and I'm going to play a video. CNBC, Port
of Los Angeles' shipping volume will plummet 35% next week.
Next week.
Next week. That means one-third cut in what's coming in to the Port of Los Angeles from China.
Next week.
Starting next week.
And the man speaking in this interview is Gene Soroka, executive director of the Port
of Los Angeles.
He was on CNBC's Squawk Box this morning.
Let's listen to what he said.
Joining us right now is Gene Sirocco.
He's the Port of Los Angeles Executive Director.
Gene, those are some big numbers.
You're really expecting a third of the traffic to drop off next week?
Good morning, Becky.
And yes, that's right.
According to our own port optimizer, which measures the loadings in Asia, we'll be down
just a little bit over 35 percent next week compared to last year.
And it's a precipitous drop in volume with a number of major American retailers stopping
all shipments from China based on the tariffs.
Yeah, the China piece of that is the most interesting.
That's where the shipments are basically ground to a halt, you've said?
Yes, that's correct.
And that makes up about 45% of our business
here in Los Angeles, Becky.
Now, what we have heard in talking directly
to CEOs and senior executives of the shipping lines
is they'll try to add a couple of port calls in
along the Southeast Asia route where cargo is still moving,
albeit at a 10% tariff.
But realistically speaking, until some accord or framework can be reached with China,
the volume coming out of there, save a couple of different commodities,
will be very light at best.
I was looking at the numbers, and for the first three months,
you all handled about 2.5 million import containers.
That's up 14% year over year.
So how much of that was retailers and others trying to really bring forward as much as they possibly
could ahead of these tariffs? A great majority of that volume was advancing
inventory and that started last summertime even during the campaign
trail when folks started talking about tariffs and trade policies, some larger retailers across a variety of sectors,
and manufacturing folks who were bringing in
parts and components started to advance that inventory.
So we had about nine months of a run-up here.
And then this last burst in March
really took us to the end of what we call
that inventory look.
And now precipitous drop overall,
and realistically what we're going to see next
is that retailers have about five to seven weeks
of full inventories left,
and then the choices will lessen.
Meaning that we could see empty store shelves,
meaning that consumers will see higher prices.
What do you, how do you see that playing out?
Yeah, a little bit of both.
And I don't see a complete emptiness
on store shelves or online when we're buying.
But if you're out looking for a blue shirt,
you might find 11 purple ones
and one blue in a size that's not yours.
So we'll start seeing less choice on those shelves
simply because we're not getting the variety
of goods coming in here
based on the additional costs in place.
And for that one blue shirt that's still left, you'll see a price hike.
Okay, so summarize what Mr. Soroka said.
35% drop in shipping containers coming into the Port of Los Angeles next week coming from China.
Angeles next week coming from China.
He said that for a number of months, companies, retailers with deep pockets,
manufacturers with deep pockets, pre-ordered inventory from China, suspecting that if Mr. Trump won the election, we would have these
tariffs. Only the people with deep pockets could do something like that. So
they stockpiled as much inventory as they could bring into the country.
However, he said now we're looking at they probably have five weeks to seven weeks of inventory
in place right now. So doc that means somewhere in early June,
July, stores start to run empty of things coming from China. Right. So that's giving you a heads up.
This is what you can anticipate.
If you need to buy something right now,
you should buy it now.
You should buy it now.
If it's clothing, if it's...
If you got children, you got to buy clothing
for children to go back to school.
Shoes, winter clothing.
You ought to buy it now.
Because the shortages are going to start showing up in five to seven weeks.
Not months, five to seven weeks.
And I wonder Doc, if the drop, the reduction in containers next week is 35%.
Two weeks from now, will it be 50%? and then 75% until we get to 100%?
I'm certain that it is.
I mean, you know, it's going to drop
precipitously over the next several months.
We know that, but 35% in one week.
That's wow, Rick, that's that's hard to comprehend.
So there are a number of ships that were on the way and there's you know
But it's it's a huge drop in what was supposed to be here
but
Not very many are leaving the ports of China now
And so eventually you're going to see almost a hundred percent drop-off in
containers coming from China
Because nobody's going to pay you 150%
tariff. Or is it too, I don't even, I lost track of where they're at. You know, once
they get over 100%, what's it matter at that point? Early this morning I read Ray
Dalio's blog. I don't have time to go through maybe tomorrow.
He said Ray Dalio is a billionaire. So you know you should pay attention to him.
And I read his blogs and this one said it's too late. The changes are coming.
It's too late to do something about the tariff war.
He says too late.
The damage is done.
And the changes are coming.
And the essence of what Mr. Dalio is saying is,
for years, Doc he this is a guy
I've been following for a long time
For years he was saying
We could see a change a breakdown in the global monetary system we could
This one today
He said it's happening now, Right. It's underway right now.
The monetary system of the world is breaking apart.
It's too late, he said. It's too late.
This is a man that controls.
I don't even know how many hundreds of billions of dollars in his fund.
Pay attention to people like this.
And notice that we are we are in a massive transition of the world order.
Yes, it is a total realignment, he says, of money, politics, borders, everything, everything, the world order.
In other words, the old New World Order is dead.
Right.
Now, now Ray Dalio is saying what we've been saying.
This is the Gold Co. financial segment, Gold Co. your source for precious metals, phone number 844-960-GOLD.
Last weekend I spent some time at home researching what Ray Dalio is projecting for the coming
years.
He's a cycles expert.
I followed him, Doc, back in the early 2000s. He's
he's one of the people that that the Lord used to show me that
there was going to be a real estate crash. Yes. Charles
Nenner is another one. Expert on cycles. Charles Nenner is
saying, we're going into a depression late this year. He's saying that we're going into severe
financial trouble late this year and 2026 will be a depression.
And then we're off to the races towards war, which he said is probably around 2029-2030.
which he said is probably around 2029 2030. If I recall what he's projecting, Harry Dent, the same thing.
Basically the same thing.
Harry Dent's expecting a 86% drop in the stock market in the next year.
These are the next year.
These are the psycho experts. And these are the guys I've been following for years.
And I am sitting up and paying attention to what they're saying and
the dates that they're putting on their projections because they're not
being nebulous anymore.
Like Ray Dalio, he was always, well, this could happen in the future.
We got time to fix it.
What he said today is no, we don't have time to fix this.
It's too late. It's broke. It's falling apart.
And he's moving his money to reflect it.
He's moving his money.
And he is he is long on gold.
And cash, gold and cash.
And that's what I think a lot of these these psycho experts, they are recommending precious metals and cash.
They're not recommending stocks.
They're not recommending anything that you can't hold on to,
but primarily precious metals and cash have
lots of cash so maybe tomorrow we'll go through the details of this but you can
get in touch with goko844960gold.com. Our final day promotion at Amazon went extremely well. There were only a few copies left in the warehouse at the end of the sale last night.
I mean just about every single book was gone.
So a lot of people got final day.
That makes me glad.
And we still have the spike cross.
We're making them as as the gifts come in we're asking for a
a gift of $500 to support faith and values as we make a new transition as
we move towards teaching the Word and building a a online platform for children to learn the Word of God.
Yes.
And so we're asking for you to sow a $500 gift into this ministry as we make this big transition.
It's the biggest change we've ever made.
Hey Rick, I'd like to share a story real quick.
Okay.
Just about a minute.
Go ahead.
I know we're at a long time, but we had a couple that came to the office today and they were
seeking prayer for the lady in the couple.
And we prayed for her, prayed for her healing.
She'd been dealing with some health issues and everything.
I anointed her with oil.
We prayed.
And when we were done praying, the gentleman said, I'd like to give a gift for one of the crosses.
And while he was here, he wrote out a check to the ministry.
And he said, I'm so appreciative of this ministry
and everything you guys do.
And I'm 100% behind you guys moving away from news
and moving into focusing on morning manna.
They never miss a morning manna.
Not a single day, they never miss it.
I see them on there every day,
but they came seeking prayer.
We prayed and they gave out of their heart.
It was, we were all in tears about the gift because it was unexpected.
And so I wanted to share that real quick because, you know, this isn't just an offer here. You
guys are investing in ministry. You, our partners, are investing in this ministry, in the future
of this ministry. We don't take it lightly. We're ministering back. We're putting that ministry out there too,
but you're ministering to us with your gift
and with this gift of $500,
it allows us to make that transition
that Rick's been talking about here for several weeks.
And so we're so very grateful to that couple.
I'm not gonna mention them all in the air.
They know who they are and know that we love you very much and we're going to continue to pray for complete healing for her.
And just believe God's going to bring a great deliverance for her.
Praise God. Amen. And Doc, with the dire state of the world as we are racing towards some kind of apocalyptic, nightmarish war
that could take out, this could be the one that takes out
a billion people before the war is over.
Imagine a billion people wiped out.
But as we're racing towards that apocalyptic, nightmarish war before the return
of Jesus Christ, I am so encouraged that there are saints who are saying, we're in this all
the way. We're holding up the banner of Christ. We're lifting the cross, we're in this all the way, and we are going
to help get the gospel out to as many people as we can help.
That really blesses me and excites me, and I'm so grateful to have so many supporters.
So we'd encourage you, if at all possible, to make that gift of $500 and we will get you across as soon as we get one made
They're making them as fast as so one man making them handmade one man is
Forging these at his blacksmith shop and he is working out long hours on nothing but crosses
So please go ahead and send your gift in and you will be first in line after everybody else.
But he's coming over here on a regular basis bringing fresh made crosses.
And they're being sent out as fast as we can.
Thank you everybody. Appreciate your support.
Remember, Friday's our last day is true news, but it is not our last day.
We will be back on Monday with Morning Manor. And after Morning Manor, we will begin working
on building a platform for children. And that's going to take some time. It's going to take
a lot of money. But I couldn't do it and continue doing the news. Something's got to give.
Something had to give. It's either keep doing the news and never do anything for the children, never write any more books, never do anything, or
jettison the news and do something bold.
Something that nobody's ever done before. A Bible school, an online digital Bible school for children.
Nobody's ever done it. And I was envisioning these little kids getting degrees in Bible
studies. Little three and four year olds graduating doc from an online Bible class. We're going
to train them up in the ways of the Lord. Amen. Okay, everybody. Thank you so much.
We'll be back tomorrow. Morning Man is coming up next. Take care. God bless you.

Good morning, everybody. Welcome to Morning Manna. We're glad that you're here with us today to study the word of God.
We all need it, every one of us.
We need all the word that we can get, and then more.
And just continue in the word.
We're never overfed the word.
It's impossible to be overfed the word.
I'm honored that so many people gather with us every day, Monday through Friday at faithandvalues.com and at 8 a.m. and then throughout the day thousands listen or watch
on Video on Demand and it's just awesome.
We're delighted to have you. So we are in the book
of Romans. We're in the 13th chapter and yesterday we only made it to verse 3. So we're going
to pick up verses 4 through 7 today. Let's pray. Father, our wonderful Father in heaven,
Father we thank you for this day and we thank you for life. We thank you for this day, and we thank you for life.
We thank you for salvation.
Thank you for forgiving all of our sins and remembering them no more, Father.
Father, teach us your love.
Peter said that love covers a multitude of sins.
Teach us to love like you.
Father, it's difficult for us to love like you,
but teach us.
We ask that the Holy Spirit would instruct us today
in the knowledge of your word,
so that we would be more like your son Jesus Christ conform to his image.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Amen. Praise God. Welcome morning, Manna, everyone, no matter where you are in the world.
We've got folks checking in from Switzerland, from the Philippines, from South Korea,
and several other locales around the world, as well as across the US and Canada.
And we had a number of our Canadian friends this morning,
Rick, saying it's a sad day for Canada today
after their election.
And so we'll be praying for you folks.
And so-
The central bankers won.
That's right, they sure did.
So let's continue our study in Romans chapter 13.
We covered a lot yesterday, even in three verses, but I think verses four through seven are going to
seal the deal for a lot of people here that are studying the word. And so picking back up at verse
four, for he is the minister of God to thee for good,
but if thou do that which is evil, be afraid.
For he bears not the sword in vain,
for he is a minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath
upon him that doeth evil.
Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath,
but also for conscience sake.
For this cause pay ye tribute also, for they are
God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their
dues, tribute to whom tribute is due, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honor to
whom honor." And that's verse 7 there. All right, Rick. Amen. Okay, well Doc, I need you to
set me straight. I need you to do that throughout Romans. This is, you know, it is a tough book.
It really is. You're doing a great job, Rick. You really, really are. And so taking it verse
by verse by like this.
I feel like I'm just sloshing through it
and I don't know how it's coming out.
Verse four, I'm gonna read the modern English version
adopted the old King James.
The same Bible Jesus used.
King James.
Same Bible Jesus used. King James. The same Bible Jesus used.
Yeah, right.
The World English Bible.
For he is a servant of God to you for good.
But if you do that which is evil, be afraid.
For he doesn't bear the sword in vain, for he is a servant of God, an avenger to execute
wrath on the one who does evil.
So Paul's talking about when he says, for he is the minister of God, the servant of
God, to you for good.
So he's talking about government officials, the governing authorities, law enforcement officers, anybody
in authority, is serving as God's appointed agents and they have been tasked with promoting The term minister, not in the term of a clergy, but of servant, a public servant who is supposed
to uphold justice and long order and fairness, the term for good.
Yes.
What it means is that authorities, when they are aligned with God's purposes, foster peace and righteousness, and that benefits those for good.
That's what they're supposed to be doing. It doesn't mean they always do it.
But see, they're going to be held accountable on
Judgment Day for how they carried out their duties as public servants.
That many of them don't know that. They don't understand that.
They're so deeply involved in politics and government, they have no idea that
they were appointed to that position by God. They thought they got it on their own skills.
But really, the Lord put them in that position, and He's going to hold them accountable on
Judgment Day for how they governed. Right. And I think a little bit too, Rick, on how prior to Paul's teaching
here, what was the relationship of believers as it relates to the government? Because really
the only interactions they were having with government was persecution. And so in the mindset of maybe
believers in that day, that maybe there was an antagonistic relationship toward government
at that time. But Paul is flipping that idea on its head. Don't think of rulers and leaders
as somebody that's out, you know, that is trying to be an enemy to you, but they
are God's ministers. So Paul is encouraging believers here at this point,
you need to change the way you think about government leaders and people in
authority. In the book of Acts we don't see the Roman government actively persecuting the church,
trying to destroy it.
What we see are Jerusalem Jews following Paul throughout the known world, stirring up trouble,
making false accusations, and trying to get the Roman government to put him in prison
or execute him Right and so in the mindset of believers in that day it would have been well the Roman government being used by
Judaizers to punish us or hurt us. How is that any think of it that way?
How is that any different than Zionist today trying to get government agencies and corporations
to punish people who don't fall in line with Zionism?
That is a direct correlation here.
What's the difference?
Yes.
This passage wasn't about revolutionary war, it wasn't about oil wars in the Middle East, it wasn't
about any of those things.
It was about what was happening at that time.
What was the experience of believers?
They were being persecuted by Judaizers and the Roman government was being used by the
Judaizers to either get them in jail or to whatever it might be,
because the Judaizers had no power of their own.
They couldn't throw somebody in jail.
That's right.
But they could make false accusations
and they could stir up riots, civil unrest,
and blame it on Paul and others.
Right.
So, you know, their tactic was,
well, if he wasn't preaching the gospel of peace,
we wouldn't be throwing rocks.
Therefore, put him in jail.
He made us throw rocks.
Because he was preaching peace.
Yeah, it's not our fault, it's their fault.
Same tactics today. Same tactics going on today.
The warning, but if thou do
that which is evil, be afraid, for he beareth not the sword in vain.
Today we would say, hey, if you're doing something bad
be afraid, because that police officer
is wearing a gun for a purpose.
Right.
And what's that purpose?
That agent was not a sword or a gun.
Right.
It was a sword.
Now it's a gun.
I mean, when you think about it, government has the power of life and death in its hand.
Established government, either they have a sword or they have a gun, and the reality
of the situation is, keep in mind, they have a sword, they have a gun, they have power
to, I hate to put it this way, execute you, to kill you. If it's necessary,
that's the power that they have to end your life. And so it's best to operate in the world
thinking about that. I just had a memory, you know, with our Sunday night church services years ago, we had a police officer
who came, county deputy sheriff, his name was Tommy.
And I remember one night giving an illustration.
I said, Look, if I'm driving down the road, and Tommy is in civilian clothes and he's standing in the center of the
highway telling yelling stop I don't have to stop I might wind a window down
and go Tommy get off the road you're gonna get hit but if Tommy is wearing
his sheriff's deputy uniform and his badge and his gun and he puts his hand up and says stop
i'm going to hit the brakes as hard as i can hit why because the government is telling me to stop
right it's not tommy anymore it's the government he is now speaking for the government
and so his his badge and his gun were issued by the sheriff of this county.
And the sheriff of this county is authorized by the Constitution of the state of Florida.
And it says obey.
But if it's just Tommy in shorts and sandals by himself, I don't have to obey him. He didn't have any authority
to tell me to stop on the highway. This is what Paul is teaching us about government officials.
When they speak to you and tell you to do something, do it. Right. Obey.
obey. The sword symbolizes law enforcement and judicial authority. Courtrooms have bailiffs and they're armed. Right. Courthouses have deputies assigned to deliver warrants and summons.
When they knock on your door, you answer and you receive the summons.
Unless you are a criminal and then you're doing evil, then you're afraid.
If you're not doing evil, there's no reason to be afraid.
I don't see anybody really here in the United States, I don't see the United States government
actively shutting down churches.
They're not doing it here in the state of Florida.
We live in peace with the government.
Now, are there people in government that behind the scenes are going after certain churches and ministries?
Yeah, I think so.
I think they're trying to find, not right now, not under this present administration,
but at times there have been.
But in general, we don't have that problem in America.
And most countries don't have it.
And governments change too.
I mean, look, over the past 20 years, how many presidents we've had, different ideologies,
different ways of dealing with the world and dealing with laws.
But you know, Rick, I'm reminded of the prophet Daniel.
He wasn't, you know, even though he's considered a prophet, his main job was he was a government administrator.
That was his job. He was a civil servant, right?
A bureaucrat. Yeah. And he served under four different administrations, if you will.
Not just four different administrations of the same country, of the same... He served
under four different national... How do I say this? The government, the city would be taken over by other nations.
Yes.
And they kept him.
Right. And Daniel served under four different kings. You know, each time it was conquered
by different kings. There wasn't nothing that was a hand me down to the next, you know, to the
air or anything, they were conquered.
But whoever was in charge said, Hey, keep keep Daniel.
Yeah, he's he's a good one.
He knows he knows how to keep he knows how to keep the water
running. He keeps the streets clean. Don't get rid of him.
And under one of the kings he was serving, the guy was totally
loony, thought he was a cow.
I mean, what do you do when your boss thinks he's a cow?
He's out eating grass out in the back pasture and you know, mooing.
Uh, you, you still, the government still got to run.
And so,
and he kept it, he kept it running and he, and he kept the,
he kept the King's insanity a secret. Yes. And I think about there were other times too,
where Daniel, you know, where the rule was you, you're going to pray a certain time and
everything and Daniel, you know, you're going to pray to me. And Daniel opened up his windows and prayed to the Lord God several times a day.
Louder than he prayed before.
Right.
That was in defiance of the order of the king.
So there are times.
But in the end, the king issued a decree ordering people to worship the king,
I mean, the God of Daniel,
and he put Daniel's persecutors in the lines pit.
Right.
Same king, the same king.
Yes.
So when we're looking here at Romans chapter 13, keep in mind, there will be a king one day and another king the next day. There will be a president one day, think of all the empires that have risen and fallen over thousands
of years of human history, and yet the same principles apply from Romans 13 to any society,
whether it's North Korea, Russia, the UK. The UK is a police state now. You can't even pray a silent prayer in front of an abortion clinic.
Right. I mean, how are they going to know you're praying silently unless you tell them,
I'm praying silently? But it changes. But the principles remain the same here, that
But the principles remain the same here, that we are to maintain a relationship with the
powers that be. We are to do good. And we are to view sometimes when it's unjust, sometimes when it's just. But when they do good, when government does good to endorse that, follow that, promote
it, I mean, you want good in society, don't you?
It makes preaching the gospel a lot easier.
The phrase, Doc, a revenger to execute wrath means that the authorities act as God's instruments
of justice.
Whether they know it or not.
Whether they know it or not.
And they execute God's wrath against evildoers.
That's a hard one for people to swallow.
And don't you want government to be a revenger upon those that do evil?
Don't you want that?
Or do you want anarchy in the world?
Do you want just let everybody do whatever they want?
We have people in this country right now that are cheering for the criminals, the violent
criminals that are in the country illegally and condemning the
government that's trying to remove them. It's upside down.
Yes. Totally upside down. So what we see in verse
4 is a dual role of government agents for good and against evil.
Real easy, which side you want to be on.
So submitting to just authority, to just authority,
honors God's order. Because he desires us to live as godly citizens in a peaceful society. the, you know, if you, and I'm only surmising, if you live under Saddam Hussein in Iraq,
back in the 70s and 80s and 90s before he was killed, yeah, he was a tyrant, but it
was prosperous. There was order in the society, and the Christians were protected.
There were no radical Muslims slicing the throats of Christians in their churches.
You know why?
Because Saddam Hussein would have sent out his men and done the same thing to them.
Why?
Because it messed up his day.
Yes.
That's why.
Because you irritated him.
He just wanted a harmonious, quiet society.
That's what rulers are like that.
Same thing with Libya, Muammar Gaddafi. Was he a tyrant?
I guess he would qualify as a tyrant. Nobody else had a say in how things were done. I guess that's your definition of a tyrant
an
absolute ruler
But the people had no taxes
right
Right. Education was free, healthcare was free, everything was free because he paid for all government services with oil revenue. He shared the wealth. Is that a good thing
or a bad thing? Why was he a bad guy? You know, maybe living in Libya was actually a
pretty good thing under Muammar Gaddafi. If you were Libyan, yes.
Right.
But you didn't criticize him.
You didn't paint ugly pictures of him.
You didn't make memes of him because he was a tyrant.
But if he just stayed out of his way, it was a good life.
See, constitutional republics, this is a really modern thing in the age of mankind.
You're right, yes.
Most people in 6,000 years have lived under tyrants.
Yeah.
I verse five, wherefore,
or the English, modern English says, therefore, you must be in subjection,
not only because of wrath, but also for conscience sake.
Wherefore, you must needs be subject. That's the King James. the authorities. You must needs. You must. That to me is an inescapable duty for
conscience sake. Therefore you must be in subjection not only because of wrath, but also for conscience
sake.
It is your moral integrity that believers should obey government authorities to maintain
a clear conscience before God. I'm sorry.
One of the things I have not
liked about news podcasting.
And I'm guilty of it. and in my older years I began to know a while ago, that's wrong, is that talk radio, podcasting, whatever
format we're talking about, the host, in order
to get to keep an audience and keep it growing, you say outrageous, funny things about political opponents.
That's not biblical.
That's not biblical.
Years ago, I used to interview a pastor.
You'll know who I'm talking about.
You know years ago, I used to interview a pastor you'll know who I'm talking about
Well known black pastor from
Was it Harlem or I think was Harlem Harlem, you know and and you know, he called Barack Obama a
Long-legged Mac Daddy. Well, he made me laugh. And I'd have him on the show and he'd, I was
laughing so hard every time he said it, long-legged Mac Daddy. I think it's interesting, Rick, that
several people on the chat knew exactly who you, the words you were going to say. Before I said it?
Yeah, they were saying, oh, Mac Daddy. Yeah, it's funny.
And Doc will tell you, I'm pretty quick-witted
and I say things privately that are funny,
but then after where I've gotten in recent years,
it's like, don't even say it.
Don't let it come out your mouth.
Don't even say it. Don't let it come out your mouth. Don't even say it.
You know, like with Joe Biden,
I mean, it's so obvious he had dementia.
It's so obvious he was not in his right mind.
And a lot of talk show hosts
were calling him all kinds of names.
But to me, it was sad. It's pathetic
And I didn't want to I didn't want to participate in that
Um
You know, of course now with uh, mr
Trump in the white house his his enemies his opponents, you know, they got all kinds of names for him
Orange man and so forth.
But is this what we're supposed to be doing as believers?
No.
No, it's not.
No, it's not.
And so, guard your lips and don't speak evil of government officials even when they are evil.
That's a hard one.
You know, like Barack Obama, he did evil.
That man did evil things. But he was in power.
Rightly or wrongly, he was in power.
So wrath is the consequence of doing evil and the fear of wrath ought to motivate obedience.
The fear of punishment should make us avoid wrongdoing, to escape punishment.
Why do I file my taxes on April 15th
as I don't want to go to prison?
That's why.
Right.
Do I have problems with the IRS?
Well, I got a lot of problems with them.
Am I gonna defy them?
No, no, no.
Nope.
You know, I got problems with the mafia.
But are you going to fight the mafia?
No, because they'll send somebody over to my house and break my kneecap. Same way with
the IRS. This sends somebody over to your house.
So you're not capable of defeating them.
And I talk over these 26 years, I've had so many.
I get to the place where I started just really to just tune them out. the so-called Christian Patriot movement, where they were not filing their income taxes.
You know what you really are?
You're a tax evader.
Why don't you just call it that?
You're using religious and historical terms to justify not paying your taxes.
Right.
Even Jesus paid his taxes and he clearly taught, I don't owe it.
Right.
I don't owe the tax, but let's not get these people worked up.
He said, hey, let's not get them worked up, Peter. Let's just pay the tax but let's not get these people worked up. He said, hey, let's not get them worked
up Peter, let's just pay the tax.
And God provided in miracle money for the taxes.
That's right. And it wasn't a government attacks, it was a religious tax.
Yes.
But the principles the same.
And what Jesus said to Peter was, it's not worth it, just pay it.
No, we don't owe it, Peter, but let's not fight over it, just pay it.
Go down to the water, there'll be a fish, just open the fish's mouth, go pay the taxes.
Now, you may question how the IRS was established and everything about the...
All those things.
Yeah, there's legitimate questions about how everything was set up, but the reality is
you're going to pay taxes.
I did.
I can't remember how many podcasts I did back in the early 2000s about the illegitimate
way the IRS and the income
tax was established, it doesn't matter.
You're still going to pay.
They're still going to pay it.
And Rick, you know, I have a friend, a pretty good friend in radio that, uh,
he got caught up in that ideology in that movement and he went to prison.
Went to prison. Yes. And
served four years in prison for not filing his income taxes and he was not filing them in protest.
It wasn't that he forgot. It wasn't that all I don't know how. Right. But he was in it was in protest and then he was on he had parole for seven years. So every
month he had to check in. And you know what he had to do? He owed over a million dollars in penalties
and fees and everything because he didn't pay his taxes. And then I'm thinking of a man here in Florida years ago who took a stand against an IRS
rule regarding churches and ministries.
And his principle was right.
It was absolutely right.
And he was not a tax evader.
He paid his taxes, but he didn't file the forms the IRS required him to file.
He filed them a different way.
They put him and his wife in prison.
He didn't evade paying his taxes.
He actually paid the taxes, but he didn't do it the way they said, and it was one of
principles too complicated to go into, and he just said, the Irish does not have jurisdiction over
church or ministry, and we will pay our taxes as individuals.
It had to do with churches withholding taxes from salaries.
And on principle he was right, but in practicality, he went to prison and his wife went to prison.
And they served many years in prison.
So when it was over, guess what?
Nothing changed.
The IRS still was doing what they were doing before they sent him to prison.
So what was the purpose? It's like Peter Navarro in the White House, respect him.
Steve Bannon, respect them in principle what they did in saying that the Congress did not
have the authority to make them testify against President Trump.
Well, they went to prison. not have the authority to make them testify against President Trump.
Well, they went to prison.
Both of them went to prison.
Was it worth it?
No.
No, it wasn't.
In my view, it wasn't.
They may think it is, but nothing changed. So Paul's telling us here, just even when the principle is right,
just obey the government.
Yes. And especially for believers, Rick. I mean, especially for believers, because is it, what kind of witness
does it show when you go up against the government and the government has to punish you? Now,
if it was for preaching the gospel, Rick, that's a whole different matter. If it was
for reading the Bible, if it was for praying silently in front of an abortion claim, those are different issues.
But a refusal to pay taxes or a refusal to appear before a court date, which is what both
Navarro and Bannon did, they refused to appear before Congress. They could have both have
appeared and just pleaded the fifth, but they refused to appear and so If I'm going to go to prison it let it be for a legitimate reason, right?
For the kingdom of God so Paul in verse 5 says for conscience sake
Meaning aligning your conscience with God's will
That obedience to government authorities
reflects your trust in God's sovereign plan.
Right.
Even when you can't understand it.
If anything has happened in my life
since we started Mourning Manna
almost two years ago. It'd be two years in July.
If anything, doc, that has changed in my life, it is trust the plan.
That's it for me.
Trust God's plan.
Yes.
Whether I understand it or agree with it, just trust Him.
And that's where I'm at.
And there are things I tell Him, I don't understand this at all.
I absolutely do not understand it, but you are God and you understand it, and that's
all that matters.
And if you aren't taking action on a certain situation in the world that grieves me, then
you have a higher plan than I have, and I will trust your plan.
Right. I mean, think about this message that Paul is delivering to a group of Jews and Gentiles who
are now believers in the capital of the Roman Empire. You know, Christianity then was considered a blood cult. A blood cult,
mind you. Why was it called a blood cult? It was called a blood cult because the
rumors were that these Christians, you know what they're doing? They're
cannibals. They're cannibals. They was one of the charges. They're eating flesh and drinking blood
Have you heard the stories they could and they admit to it and their blast streamers say they're against the state
religion of Rome
Actually doc they they accused the Christians of being atheist. That's right. Yes, they don't worship Diana
Yeah, they're denying.
Gods, they're down to one God.
They don't believe in the gods.
Right, they call them atheists.
So that's the culture of that day, all right?
So Paul is saying, listen, we've got enough trouble as it is.
Don't stir up more trouble by not paying tribute or not honoring the king. You know,
we're already being accused of being cannibals and atheists. So that's the context of this.
So that's the context of this for conscience sake obey the government
Why does that have why is your conscience
What does it mean for your conscience sake so that you can rest
At night when you go to bed saying I am not
Contrary to God's will. Yes.
If you are plotting to bring down a government, topo government, you are out of God's will.
And that includes people in our government that work to topple other governments.
You're out of God's will.
Regime change is not God's will.
means men and women of one government actively committing seditious acts in another country to cause that government to collapse.
Right.
Not as declared enemies.
Not as declared enemies.
Because we just don't like a guy. So you are in opposition to God's will for that country.
So aligning with God's will through voluntary submission
means believers surrender their personal desires to God's ordinance to his plan. And for conscience sake, to be at peace, to submit to authorities out of your devotion to God. I know Christians who they get stopped for speeding. They argue with the police officer.
No, you were speeding.
And I have a mouth. Don't get mouthy with the police officer because he stops you for speeding.
And I have a lot.
I was over the speed limit.
Yes, I'm sorry.
And if you admit it, most of the time, they'll let you go.
Precisely.
If you're polite and do exactly what the officer says and, you know, don't argue, don't do
anything.
Most of the time, they'll just say, you know, just need to slow down, you know, don't argue, don't do anything. Most of the time, they'll just say,
you know, just need to slow down, you know,
and everything most of the time.
But even if you do get a ticket, just be, you know,
just take it, don't argue with it,
don't start cussing out the officer.
I mean, it's embarrassing, some of the way some people act.
Yes.
And I realize that there are officers out there that
could be sometimes pushy and everything but generally they're not. They got a wife and kids
at home or a husband and kids at home. They're just trying to do their job. They're not out to
they're not targeting you or anything like that. I have a personal pet peeve for the sovereign citizen movement myself, just me.
Because the way I view, and if you're an adherent to that ideology, folks, I stand on it.
What rule applies to you then? You say you don't need a driver's license? You don't
need a license plate? That you don't have to talk to an officer? You put up a note against
the window? To me, that's like saying I am in rebellion to this.
It's a spirit of rebellion. That's the group I'm talking about doc that has come against me for years
They used to really come against me hard
And
I asked the Lord one time I said what is going on and he said
because I was being attacked as many years gonna ask being attacked and
And he said, because I was being attacked as many years ago, and I was being attacked online.
And I said, what is going on?
And he said, there are people that have given up hope
on you ever endorsing their ideology.
And now they've turned against you.
Oh, you mean like the way, the way Judas turned against Jesus?
Because Judas was a revolutionary.
Yes.
I just thought about this, Doc.
I haven't been stopped for speeding.
I spent at least 10 years.
And the officer didn't give me a ticket.
He came back and he said,
sir, you got one of the cleanest driving records
I've ever seen and I am not gonna mess it up.
And I said, thank you, sir.
I am sorry I was going over speed limit,
but I appreciate your grace in this.
And I said, have you ever been stopped?
Have you ever been ticketed?
I said, yes, sir.
I remember when.
April 1995, Argyle, Texas.
I remember it very clearly.
That was the last time I got a speeding ticket, 1995 in Argyle, Texas.
I don't know how big Argyle is now,
but back in 95, Argyle was really small.
And the town police officer stopped me
and he walked up to my window and he said,
"'You speeding through our downtown.
And I looked in my mirror and I thought, well, where is it? Downtown what?
Where is it? I don't say, I knew not to say that.
I knew not to say, where's your downtown?
But in your mind you're going, there is no town.
Argyle is probably a lot bigger right now.
And I liked Argyle, okay. Well, it's north of Fort Worth, okay. there is no town down our gal is probably a lot bigger right now and i liked our gal okay
it's uh north of fort fort worth okay in the mid cities north of mid cities so um oh we got
somebody here used to live in our gal rick really we got an argallian yeah hey carrie good well i
went i was going uh south through the downtown.
Okay, I got a police, I got stopped.
And then on top of that, I thought I had 30 days to pay it.
And I had moved from Maryland,
this is when I went to work for TVN.
And I thought, oh, I got 30 days to pay this.
And somewhere around the 20th day, I called the Argyle Police Department.
I said, hey, how do I pay this ticket?
And the woman said, sir, there's an arrest warrant out for you.
I said, what?
She goes, you had 10 days to pay that ticket.
And the city judge has issued an arrest warrant for me. I said, oh no, I'm
going to be arrested in Argyle, Texas. So I paid it right away and it was taken care
of.
Okay.
You could have ended up in Argyle jail with all of us.
Oh, I could still be there, Doc. Rotting away. But pay your fines, obey and just be a good citizen. Yes, just be a good citizen.
Give a good testimony of who you are. The next verse, verse 6, for they are servants of God's service, continually doing this very thing.
There's nothing else that needs to be said about paying your taxes.
For this cause, pay ye tribute also.
Yes.
Tribute is just fill in taxes, fees, levies, tariffs, customs, duties.
Just pay it.
Just pay it. You know, when we travel, especially when we take a big production team, lately in recent years we don't have to do that because technology has downsized so much and we don't have to carry giant suitcases full of cameras and tripods and all kinds of gadgets to set up to do a program. It wasn't that long ago where we would have to pay a fee
to import that equipment into a country.
Yeah, and we complain about it internally,
not to authorities, but you know,
but the fact of the matter is,
if I wanna have that equipment there, I've gotta pay it.
That's right, if you're in a-
I can own it, but not if I want to. If you're in an airport in a foreign country
and customs agents have you pulled aside going through your suitcases and your luggage and and saying, you owe us whatever it is, 600 euros,
you pay it.
Unless you wanna spend the weekend in a European jail
or whatever country you're in, you pay it.
Right.
And you may not like it.
I know we didn't like it,
but that's the way the cookie
grubbles is to say. I personally have a policy with the IRS. Sometimes I
get these ridiculous notices. We went through your taxes five years ago and
you owe us $38. Okay, I'm not gonna, you think I'm gonna get on the phone for six hours
and argue about $38? Some would. Oh, I know they would. No, it's easier to just send the $38 and
get it over with. Now, if they said, Oh, 38,000. Well, yeah, that's a problem. How could I owe that much? But sometimes you just just pay it. Okay.
Just pay it. It's not worth getting into an argument and spending valuable time fighting over
a few dollars. For this cause pay ye tribute also. Pay your taxes. Pay your city taxes,
your county taxes, your property taxes, your county taxes, your property taxes, your school
taxes, your income taxes, pay them.
Right.
If you get a, I mean, and that goes with all obligations to government.
I mean, if you get called for jury duty, you know, don't fight it.
I mean, if there's a legitimate reason not to be on jury duty, there are things that
happen.
I understand that.
But they'll recognize it and grant you an excuse to leave.
What Paul is really trying to say here is, listen, we've got enough trouble the way it
is.
Yes, there it is.
Persecution and everything. Don't bring more trouble on yourself by being a bad citizen. Be a good citizen. Be an exemplary
citizen. Put other citizens to shame by your behavior and by your acknowledgement of the
authority of God that reigns in this world. Don't bring more trouble on yourself and the body of
Christ by being a stick in the mud. And an irritant to government officials. You want
government officials to say among themselves, she's a good trouble. We don't have any trouble out of her.
That guy's a good man. Let him alone. Don't you think in biblical days, there were times that
Roman soldiers whispered to each other, he's a decent guy. Let's not rough him up.
Yeah, think about the appearance of Paul before Festus. Festus was saying all sorts of nice things about Paul.
He wasn't being critical of Paul.
And he's going through, he was trying to figure out
why are the Jews upset with Paul?
In other words, Paul, you in person
don't match your Wikipedia page.
I've had that said to me many times. Yeah, if you're actually a nice guy in person.
Man, if you look at Rick's Wikipedia page, you think he has
a hobby of killing puppies. I mean, really? drowning them in
the creek.
The ones the ones that Fauci didn't torture.
Okay verse seven, see there go talking about a former government.
There's a man, I'm telling you that okay that's between him and the Lord what that man did
in his position. Verse seven, therefore give everyone what you owe.
If you owe taxes, pay taxes.
If customs, then customs.
If respect, then respect.
If honor, then honor.
Pay what is owed.
Respect, honor, obedience.
You don't have to like somebody to be respectful.
Right. And really, it's not limited to government either. Get right down to it. As believers,
shouldn't we be the most respectful people, the most respectful individuals around.
Shouldn't we be the example of showing honor?
And when I say about honor, not just in government,
but if a man is a pastor of the church,
I go out of my way to acknowledge he's a pastor.
I say, hey, Pastor Roberts, or hey, Pastor Smith,
whatever it is. Why? Because I was trained a little bit differently. acknowledge that he's a pastor. I say, Hey, Pastor Roberts or Hey, Pastor Smith, whatever
it is. Why? Because I was trained a little bit differently. I don't know how those are,
but I was trained to show honor to those in authority. And, you know, so it's not limited
really to government. We have believers, they should look at us and say, you know what, you can say what you want to
about Doc Burkhart, but he is respectful
and he shows honor and he's easy to get along with.
That's true.
I was thinking about my first employer when I got married.
I had jobs in high school and all that, I'm talking about my first official job as a married man at age 20.
And the man that ran the company, it was a financial company, his name was Mr. Schiffler.
And he was one of the meanest, grumpiest old men you'd ever meet.
And he honestly, Ebenezer Scrooge, looked like an angel.
He had eyebrows so big he could brush cobwebs. Okay. That man never smiled. I still
remember him. He never smiled, but I was respectful to him. And he never gave me any trouble. He was mean and grumpy,
but he never gave me any trouble.
I was respectful to him.
I was 20 years old and I showed him respect.
I got a smile out of him one time, Doc.
You know the story, I can't tell it in this Bible lesson.
I had to go, he sent me out to a farm to collect money.
I'm not going to tell that story in this, in this Bible lesson, but I got a smile out
of you on that one.
But you show respect.
You show respect to people that, you know, they don't deserve it.
But because of their position, you give them the respect. Right. He was, he was the
the president of that company. He was the man in charge. And and so I always showed
him respect. And I, you know, I've done that in every job I've ever had, no matter how they treated me.
So render therefore to all their dues.
And this is not just financial,
but it includes respect, honor, obedience.
Right.
Render is a deliberate act of giving.
When you render something, you have chosen to give something.
Command to give fear to whom you fear,
honor to whom you honor.
Fear, in this case means reverential respect.
Yes.
Honor implies esteem. I had an elementary school principal, Mrs. Snyder.
No sane human would ever defy her.
Believe me, anybody that had in their right mind
would not defy that woman.
But everybody, including adults, addressed her as Mrs. Snyder.
Right.
You came in that school, she was queen.
Don't have that today, do we?
No.
That school was so clean and quiet and orderly. Why? Because you feared Mrs. Snyder.
You did not want to be in her presence.
But everybody was respectful. Today you'd have kids calling her names and taunting her.
So you'd have parents doing it.
You'd have parents doing it.
Yes, parents, wow, yes, you're right.
You'd have parents,
she'd have to call the police on parents today
for being unruly.
But back when I went to school, the parents walked quietly in the school
and said, Mrs.
Snyder, because they respected her and they wanted the school to be orderly.
And this is what God is saying to us about society.
He desires society to be orderly.
Right.
Not chaotic, not anarchy, not rebellion,
but to be orderly so that we can live peaceful lives
in an orderly society.
When things are quiet and orderly, life is peaceful.
And as believers, we shouldn't be creating chaos and disorder and anarchy. We should be good
citizens. That's, you know, really starting in chapter 12, the last half of chapter 12 and going
all the way to the end of 13. You know, we're once again, we're talking about practical Christian living.
Paul is saying here in these seven verses, part of practical Christian living, part of being a
believer, part of being a follower of Christ, means being a good citizen even in the midst of
persecution. Be a good citizen. Don't let there be anything be said against you, against the faith, against the gospel of Christ, because you're an idiot.
Don't create chaos. Don't create trouble. There's enough trouble. We're dealing with people that are trying to kill us for our faith.
for our faith. Don't add to it. Don't put more fuel on the fire. If anything, be a good citizen that will reduce the fire. Maybe not completely, but at least with
a good conscience you can say, I serve the Lord by being a good citizen.
Yes.
This is not taught in churches, by the way.
No, it isn't.
But we're teaching it right now.
Yeah, and this is church.
Because churches where two or more are gathered in His name. And there's a lot of us gathered in His name right now.
All right, Doc, let's, we're at the one hour mark, let's call it a day and we'll jump in
tomorrow.
Let's see, we'll be at verse 8 tomorrow. I would try to do the verses 8 through 14 tomorrow.
