Russian President Putin has offered to sell rare earth minerals to the United States as
part of a deal to end the Ukraine War.
European leaders are calling upon Great Britain to become a nuclear umbrella for the European
continent.
Meanwhile, White House reporters are wondering whether President Macron brews President Trump's hand
during their recent meeting.
This is True News for Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's top news with this article published by
The Financial Times in London.
Emmanuel Macron's turning point on Ukraine lacks Donald Trump's commitments.
Now, Doc, there's a lot of confusion about this article.
Did President Trump commit to President Macron that Russia is okay with European troops?
There's different articles saying different things, and I'm not quite sure what the story
is.
So we're going to start with the Financial Times.
And it's saying, Emmanuel Macron hailed a turning point in efforts to sway Donald Trump
on Ukraine, but failed to secure a commitment from the U.S. president to secure any deployment
of European troops to deter Russia
in a post-war settlement, according to officials. Those officials are named—no, no, this is a quote
from Mr. Macron—'there are Europeans that are ready to engage to provide for the security guarantees,'
said Macron after his meeting with President Trump.
guarantees," said Macron after his meeting with President Trump. Now there's a clear American message that the U.S. as an ally is ready to provide that
solidarity for that approach.
That is a turning point in my view.
How does that sound to you?
It sounds like they came to some sort of deal, right?
That President Trump said, okay, I'm with you, EU troops in Ukraine.
That's the way I read this.
Right.
It goes on as the speaking during a press conference at the White House, Macron said
that Trump had agreed to play such a role.
Now earlier in the day when President Trump was asked if European troops would have US
support, he said, we'll have a backing of some kind.
Obviously, European countries are going to be involved.
But the US president quickly added he did not believe European countries would need
much backing since he trusted Russia to stick to any agreement.
Now a French official said there was no definitive agreement on the nature of US backup in Ukraine
given the discussions were at a preliminary stage.
But the official added, there is no objection from President Trump to the Americans giving
security guarantees.
Once again, there's not a commitment here at all.
Just we're just talking right now.
But Doc, I just look at Donald Trump's body language, his facial expressions.
Right.
And when he was sitting down with Macron as well, I mean, it's...
He doesn't hide his feelings very well.
No, he doesn't.
His face displays what he's thinking.
Yes.
And he's not happy with Macron.
Whatever Emmanuel Macron was saying there, Donald Trump was not happy with it.
So I'm not sure exactly what they agreed upon.
Mr. Macron has his narrative that he's going back to Europe with and saying, hey, this
is what I got from Donald Trump.
But Donald Trump's face looked like he was saying, I don't, we didn't agree to that. The next story, this is ABC News, Macron warns Trump to be careful on Ukraine.
Fact checks him at the White House.
Now this one, Mr. Macron interrupted Donald Trump as he was speaking, put his hand on his arm, tried to muscle in to say, hey, I'm
in charge of this meeting.
That's the way I...
It was a...
No, that's the way I interpreted it too.
So this is what ABC said.
So French President Emmanuel Macron used his visit to the US to publicly push back on President
Donald Trump's repeated attacks on Ukraine, fact checking his American counterpart in
real time and urging caution and talks with the Russian president.
Now, during their joint over office appearance on Monday, Mr. Macron interrupted President
Trump when the latter said that Europe was being paid back 60% of the aid it contributed
to Kiev over the last three years of war.
Touching Donald Trump's arm to interject, Macron said, no.
In fact, to be frank, we paid 60% of the total effort.
It was through, like the US, loans, guarantees, grants, Macron said, and we provided real
money to be clear.
After Macron's comments, President Trump smiled and replied, if you believe that, it's okay
with me.
We have this clip from ABC News.
Again, just so you understand, Europe is loaning the money to Ukraine.
They get their money back.
No, in fact, to be frank, we paid 60% of the total default.
It was through, like the US,
loans, guarantee, grants,
and we provided real money, to be clear.
We have 230 billion frozen assets in Europe,
Russian assets, but this is not as a collateral of a loan
because this is not our belonging.
So they are frozen.
If at the end of the day,
in the negotiation we will have with Russia,
they're ready to give it to us, super. It will be loaned at the end of the day in the negotiation we will have with Russia, they're ready to give to give it to us, super it will be loan at the end
of the day and Russia would have paid for that. If you believe that it's okay with me.
If they get their money back we don't and now we do but you know that's only fair.
So the we know for a fact the Europeans did loans.
It was assumed that the loans were going to be written off after the war.
So often, the West finances a war with loans, and then when the war is over, there's debt
forgiveness and all that kind of stuff.
In this case, I think Donald Trump suspected that the Europeans
were going to actually demand their money back. And so he got in there and said, I'm
going to place a lien on the country. I'm going to file a lien. And we get our money
first and they will be the second lien holder.
And I think this is what's happened, is that the reason Donald Trump was insisting so hard
that President Zelensky signed the agreement was that that would give the US the first
lien on the minerals.
And Europe would be a second lien holder, meaning they got to wait.
They don't get their loans paid back until the US gets,
what's he asking for, half trillion dollars?
Oh, more than that.
Half of all mineral rights, which is more than half.
Well, when it all started, he was saying
he wanted a half trillion dollars.
So, while that was playing, you came across a news story
about Mr. Zelensky. Right.
So this is the Financial Times.
Ukraine agrees to a minerals deal with the U.S.
This is what's being reported.
Ukrainian officials say Kiev is now ready to sign the agreement on jointly developing
its mineral resources, including oil and gas, after the U.S. dropped demands for a right
to $500 billion in potential
revenue from exploiting the resources.
That's Financial Times version.
The final version of the agreement would establish a fund into which Ukraine would contribute
50% of proceeds from the future monetization of the state-owned minerals, including oil
and gas and associated logistics.
The fund would invest in projects in Ukraine.
Once again, this is what Financial Times is saying.
It excludes mineral resources that already contribute to Ukrainian government efforts,
meaning it would not cover the existing activities of the Ukrainian companies that are currently
operating in Ukraine.
But that, of course, wouldn't apply to anything that Russia is occupying.
That's right.
So, and...
And we're going to get to that here in a moment because there's a story that not
only are the Russians saying we're willing to sell the minerals in the
Ukrainian territory that we
occupy, the ones that they annexed.
But Mr. Putin said, you can come into Russia.
We've got minerals inside Russia that we'd like to sell also.
That's right.
We'll get to that story in a moment.
London Times.
Russia denies Trump's claims after Macron corrects him on the cost of war.
So the Kremlin has denied a claim by President Trump that Russia would accept European peacekeeping
troops being deployed to Ukraine.
See where this gets confusing?
Yes.
But you've got to consider the source.
This is the London Times.
All right. All right. So the Kremlin is denying the claim. The Kremlin is denying the claim by
President Trump that Russia... Okay, so I get it. Russia is saying this report that President Trump
said we would accept troops is not true. It's not accurate. President Trump suggested that the Ukraine war could end within weeks as he invited Zelensky
to a meeting in Washington and claimed President Putin had no problem with European peacekeeping
troops in the country.
Dmitry Peskov, Putin's spokesman, when asked about it today, referred reporters to an earlier statement
by Sergey Lavrov.
Asked if he believed Putin would accept that as part of a final agreement, Trump said,
yeah, he will accept that.
I've asked him that question because he's not looking—if we do this deal, he's not
looking for more war.
He doesn't mind, but I've specifically asked
him that question, he has no problem with it."
Now, Mr. Peskov suggested that the U.S. might do a future deal with Russia for rare earth
minerals.
Yes.
Now, yesterday, President Trump, he tweeted, and he said, remember the one where he talked
to Governor Trudeau?
Right.
And he said, we're working with Russia on future economic development agreements.
That's what Peskov is talking about here, apparently.
That the U.S. is going to buy rare earth minerals from Russia.
Mr. Peskov said, the Americans need rare earth metals.
We have a lot of them.
We have our own plans to develop strategic resources,
but there are quite broad prospects for cooperation here.
Doug, did you ever imagine?
No.
I didn't have this on my bingo card this year.
Just think, just two months ago, Joe Biden was frantic.
Toughly giving nukes to Ukraine.
Giving nukes to Ukraine.
And this month, we're buying rare earth minerals from Russia.
That's how fast things can change.
London Telegraph.
Daring Macron risk angering Trump in touchy-feely White House showdown.
That's what I was talking about.
Watch the arm wrestling here, okay?
Remember the last time the two met? President Trump just about put him
on the floor? This time, Macron came ready. And see the constant, I'm in charge, I'm touching you.
Doc, you're the expert on body language. Who's in charge?
Someone trained Macron on this one.
That's what I thought.
Donald Trump's still in charge, but someone told Macron, this is what you got to do.
Be sure to sit this way.
Be sure to reach out.
Be sure to touch Donald Trump.
Invade his space.
Which are all Trump techniques.
Yes.
Yes. Yes.
So, it wasn't lost on me when I saw that.
The UK Express had this story, and Trump health fears explode after mysterious dark marks
seen on the U.S. president's hand.
Now, this is within the interchange between President Trump and Mr. McCrone.
Now I'm going to show you a video here first. This is from the Daily Mail.
Again, watch the handshakes.
Right. Mutual handshakes here.
But Mr. McCrone is aggressively holding on to Donald Trump.
Yes. And pulling him in, just like Donald Trump does.
And so Macron is sitting there as equals.
Now, the hand that they're talking about there
is President Trump's.
Who's touching who now?
Yes.
And who's pushing his hand off?
Look at this.
Yes.
So this was, Macron tried to come in as an equal.
Look at this.
Wow.
These guys are like wrestlers.
So now the question is, now a number of outlets are reporting that they have noticed something
unique about President Trump's right hand, which we'll show you here in just a moment.
So this is supposedly zoomed up on the president's hand.
This image is from Daily Mail.
And it's hard to see in the video anything like this.
And I was talking with Rick about this
before the program today.
And I said, Rick, we're having a hard time
seeing a bruise on his hand.
And I'm just wondering where we're having a hard time seeing a bruise on his hand.
And I'm just wondering where this bruise came from.
And you had some thoughts on it.
Well, my thought was possibly the bruise appeared after his arm wrestling with Mr. McCrone.
Okay.
That Emmanuel McCrone squeezed his hand so aggressively that it left a bruise.
The bruise didn't show up until minutes later.
That's one possibility.
The other possibility is the news media is completely faking this story.
Well, except for the fact that a bruise has appeared on his hand before.
That's true because you go back to December in Mar-a-Lago, he had a bruise on his hand.
Right.
Now, you have to—we had to zoom in—had to find another source to zoom in, but if
you look at the hand there, it is discolored there.
And so, is there a legitimate concern for, you know, health reasons for President Trump?
My grandfather had, you know, hematomas on his arm and everything but it's nothing serious
It was he was just an older gentleman. Sometimes it comes from IV right
therapy
But look what when it was Mitch McConnell, we would ask that question, right?
We would why why does senator McConnell have blue hands again? Okay
The only reason we're bringing it up is because it's in newspaper headlines around the world.
We don't have any idea why his hands turned blue.
But I do have some other things to talk about.
London Telegraph.
Europe undercuts Trump by offering surprise win-win mineral deals.
Deal two, Ukraine.
The EU is trying to undercut Donald Trump and get their own proposal to Mr. Zelensky
to get, they're trying to get the first lien.
Right.
Before Donald Trump gets a lien on the minerals.
But I think Donald Trump has beat them to it.
But the article from The Telegraph says that the European Union is pushing for its own
deal to share Ukraine's mineral wealth that could undercut efforts by President Trump
to secure mining rights as part of a peace deal.
Stefan Sejone, the bloc's industry commissioner, quietly pushed Europe's alternative deal
on a visit to Kiev to mark the third anniversary of the conflict.
21 of the 30 critical minerals Europe needs can be provided by Ukraine in a win-win partnership,
the French bureaucrat said after a meeting with Ukrainian officials.
The added value Europe offers is that we will never demand a deal that's not mutually beneficial.
Mr. Scherzogne's comments are likely to be interpreted by Washington as an attempt to
muscle in on the U.S. president's proposed deal, and any attempts by Brussels to hijack
the deal will likely further exacerbate transit lagging tensions over President Trump's efforts
to broker a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.
Now the proposed U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal, now this is once again Telegraph reporting
this, is likely to offer one of the clearest insights in how the war-torn country could
be carved up as part of any peace settlement.
The fact that they even say this in the article, Rick, that Ukraine could be carved up is interesting. Many of Ukraine's mineral deposits are in territory currently
occupied by Russian forces, which we've talked about in the past. And on Monday, President
Putin said he would be open to granting the US access to rare earths in both Russia and
occupied Ukraine. I know that's one aspect of this
you wanted to bring out, Rick.
The Russian president said his country undoubtedly have,
I want to emphasize, significantly more resources
of this kind than Ukraine.
As for the new territories, it's the same.
We are ready to attract foreign partners
to the so-called new, to our historical territories,
which have returned to the Russian-called new, to our historical territories, which have returned
to the Russian Federation," he added.
So, Mr. Putin is saying, we are inviting Western investors to come to Russia, which he's saying,
the territories that have returned to Russia, are part of Ukraine right but he say we are
Inviting American companies to come and invest in Russia
This is so amazing to see this
Unfolding in real time in front of us, you know
We have very few people are catching the scope of what's going on right there
they're starting to you're starting to see a few people are catching the scope of what's going on right now. They're starting to.
You're starting to see a few people talk about it.
And actually, now a few people are starting to shift from this antagonistic view toward
Russia to wouldn't it be amazing if US and Russia had an economic partnership?
And this is something we've been talking about now for several months now when you first
proposed it. I mean it's
It's it's so far outside
normal thinking
But now it looks like it's coming to pass. It is well. I've said for years. Why are we why are we enemies with Russia?
Does it make sense? We ought to be partners right and really our values if, if we still have any kind of American values left, our core American
values, what we would call traditional values, are more closely aligned to Russia than any
European nation.
The MAGA movement values are closer to Russian values.
That's probably the best way to put it, yes.
Something else the news media is catching up on that we saw earlier. This is Newsweek
Mapsha's Ukraine's rare earth minerals that Putin wants to sell to Trump as you see
the
highlighted area that's the area that Russia sees control of a year or two ago the
Whether you call them disputed territories Russia says a it's, it's annexed. It belongs to us, the people voted to join Russia.
But that's where most of the minerals are located.
Right.
About 70% of all of Ukraine, if you want to call it, former Ukraine, about 70% of those
rare minerals are in that pink area.
And most of the Russian troops in Ukraine are in that pink area.
Right.
And we're going to have Americans in that pink area working side by side with Russian troops, right?
It's amazing. I don't I don't have any words for it is absolutely amazing that other article the Telegraph it said how
Ukraine could be carved up
Ukraine is gonna be put on a platter like a turkey.
Maybe like a Thanksgiving turkey.
Yes.
You want a thigh?
You want breast meat?
What do you want here, all right?
Different countries are gonna get something.
Very little of Ukraine is gonna be left.
Mr. Zelensky is what Mr. Medvedev used to say he'll get the Kiev Republic, the little
city of Kiev. That'll be about it. But it's going to be carved up. And I think Poland will still
end up with West Ukraine. I'm still believing it, Rick. Yes. They'll satisfy Poland. Poland will get...
And the rest of the Europeans by saying, all right, Western Ukraine, you guys can have
it.
If you want to have it in NATO, go ahead.
We don't care.
Because then you'll still have a buffer nation of Ukraine between there and the occupied
territories.
And why would Russia go along with it?
Because they are going to bust up Ukraine.
Yes.
They're going to teach up Ukraine. Yes.
They're going to teach them a lesson.
That's right.
You did this to us, and now you paid a price.
You don't have a country.
It's gone.
It's country 404.
Now, Asia Financial.
This one caught me by surprise.
So this is actually back to January 29.
I had to go back today and look this up.
Yes.
Because I found a paragraph in another article today.
I said, wait a minute, I got to look and see if this is true.
It is true.
This is January 29.
Taipei to consider Trump threat of big tariffs on foreign chips.
We're not talking about potato chips.
We're talking about microchips.
And Taiwan has the biggest microchip manufacturing
plant in the world.
Right.
OK?
So it's the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, TSMC.
That article went over my head. I just didn't pay attention to it weeks ago, because
Donald Trump was threatening everybody with tariffs. What I didn't consider was that Mr. is telling the Taiwanese, we want your microchip company.
We want it.
Yes.
You're going to give it to us.
Yes.
We're going to take it.
That's exactly what's happening here.
That's where we're at right now.
Yes.
Mr. Trump is, apparently, we've not heard him say it.
The rumor is he's telling Taiwan,
hey, the United States is paying all this money
to protect you from China.
What do we get out of it?
I'll tell you what we want.
We want that microchip factory.
Doc, you know what we're gonna hear in Barcelona next week?
We're gonna hear stories about this.
Right.
I guarantee you that we're gonna hear people talking
about this story.
And here's the irony of it, Rick.
The Biden administration had convinced TSMC to build a microchip factory in Arizona.
Yes.
They're in the process of building that now, right?
And so they're building a factory here in the US.
And then we put tariffs on Taiwan for what they manufacture there, forcing them to build
even more microchips here that are tariff-free.
But we're going to take ownership at least 50 percent of the company that's in Taiwan.
Right.
And Asian Financial isn't the only outlet reporting this.
Financial Times also has this, too, saying, forget the title here,
what's important is what's in the article itself. It says,
recognize that money is one of the few things that truly motivates President Trump.
The Russians arrived in talks in Saudi Arabia with a long list of tempting business deals.
The rumor mill in Washington, this is what you really need to hear about, is already buzzing with talk that the US will threaten to impose
tariffs on Taiwan. Now, this is Financial Times today.
Unless it agrees to sell a significant chunk of
TSMC, the Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company, if the US can reduce its reliance on Taiwanese
semiconductors, then the way would be open
for America to abandon Taiwan.
And give Taiwan to China.
So are we seeing a subtle hint here that there's going to be another deal that's going to
be made, but this one's going to be with China?
Doc, I just had a thought.
The Taiwanese people are very industrious. You know, the Asians are...
I had a good friend from Taiwan, and so yes, they're super industrious.
Asians are hard-working, industrious people.
What if Donald Trump says...
What if Donald Trump says, I mean look, he's pushing the illegals out, the illegal immigrants here. He's pushing them out. He's chasing them out.
There are going to be millions that are going to leave. There's estimates
there's 20 some million that have come in during the four years of the Biden
administration. Imagine pushing 20 million out.
That's not even the other.
I think I know where you're going with this.
He's going to move the Taiwanese population to the United States.
Do a brain drain of Taiwan.
And just give the island to China.
Say, there it is.
It's the island.
We get the semiconductors.
We get the brains.
And you got the island.
You got the real estate.
That's what you're going to do.
It's brilliant. He's going to tell all the Taiwanese, come over. We got work for you out of Taiwan at a microchip plant. We're building one. Doc, do we become a better country. If the people of Taiwan move here and they bring all their ideas, all their intelligence,
all their industry, they bring it here and they just gut out the island and there's room
in the United States because he's pushing 20 million illegals out. I said that late last year.
I said he's going to push out the illegals.
And then there's going to be a massive influx of legal immigrants coming into
the country.
Well, you know, and that relates to an update on the State Department's website
here about a week and a half, two weeks ago.
The policy has been, you know,
that we support Taiwanese, you know, path to independence. They've taken that off
the State Department's website. That's true. So maybe we're getting a hint here
where things are heading. No, what was on the website is that we did not support a
path. We didn't support a path, but we the website is that we did not support a path.
We didn't support a path, but we made it clear that we didn't support a path.
But that's been removed.
Right.
And so most people interpreted that move as saying, oh, the US is now wavering and could
be supporting a path.
It might be the opposite.
Yes, it makes perfect sense now.
This is amazing.
This is is amazing.
This is absolutely amazing.
I've never seen anything like this in my lifetime.
We elected a real estate tycoon for president.
What does he know?
Real estate deals.
Real estate deals.
And he's making deals.
And everyone else is trying to be a deal maker.
They don't know what to do.
Look at this story from London Times.
Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister, must offer whole of Europe a nuclear umbrella.
Go for it.
Yeah.
You and France and whoever else you can haggle together with nukes, go ahead.
So Sir Keir Starmer must offer Europe the protection of Britain's nuclear weapons amid
fears of President Trump scaling back security guarantees.
A European diplomat told The Telegraph, if we are talking about European security, it
has to start with the two nuclear powers, Britain and France.
Therefore Britain should be included in any talks
on increasing European defense.
Asked if other EU countries might follow Germany
in asking for Trident's protection,
the diplomat said, if the Americans remove their weapons,
yes, it can't just be Germany,
it has to be the whole of Europe.
So Germany currently hosts US nuclear missiles
and is also under the UK nuclear shield via NATO, but Mr. Trump's recent rhetoric on Ukraine
has led to concerns that Europe needs its own independent system.
When this has entered the conversation now, that we could be pulling nuclear missiles out of Europe
Yes, US troops. Yes out of Europe the tanks shut down the military bases
And let Europe handle its own security. He's going to he's going to sign a peace treaty with Russia
And once he signs a peace treaty with Russia
It's going to be approved by the Senate Would the Senate turn down a peace treaty with Russia, it's going to be approved by the Senate.
Would the Senate turn down a peace treaty with Russia?
They'll hoop and holler.
There'll be some that will hoop and holler.
But what would be the argument about,
why would you turn, why would you vote no
on a peace treaty with Russia?
Unless you're just so rabid blue in the blood
where you have to just say Russia, Russia, Russia is the enemy, enemy, enemy. And there are some
that are doing that right now. Yes. I mean even, you know, even strong Republicans.
I guarantee you Donald Trump would get the Nobel Peace Prize. Guarantee you. You
make peace with Russia, sign a 5100 year treaty.
Even a mutual protection treaty.
So there's no need for NATO because the United States and Russia aren't going to fight each
other.
You've eliminated World War III.
What you're doing is you're ending World War III with Russia.
We've been in war with Russia for three years.
And we used Ukraine to do the fighting.
So it would be an end of World War III with Russia and the United States, preparing for
World War III battles with China.
But it means Russia would not be in that battle against the United States.
It would either be neutral or possibly an ally.
Right.
That's even crazier.
To think that Russia would be our military ally in a war with China.
Next one, Mr. Trump is going to kick Canada out of the Five Eyes intelligence group.
So they're going to be down to Four Eyes.
Well, I think we're going to just leave that.
We're just going to walk away from it.
What has it done for us?
It's been used against the American people, hasn't it?
That's right.
And it's been used against him.
Yes.
He knows it.
The CIA and the other US intelligence agencies
use Canada and Great Britain and Australia
to spy on Donald Trump.
Yes.
That way they could say, we didn't do it.
It's against the law for us to spy on Americans.
Ah, but it's not against the law
for other countries to spy.
And then to give that information.
And they gave the information.
So he knows it and he's going to shut it down.
This story Financial Times, a lot of stuff from Financial Times today.
The top White House official has proposed expelling Canada from the Five Eyes
intelligence sharing network.
As Donald Trump increases pressure on the country, he talks about turning
into the 51st state.
Guess who's behind this idea?
Peter Navarro.
Who's back in the White House. He's back in the White House.
And he wants to get Canada out of the Five Eyes, which includes
UK, Australia, New Zealand. People familiar with the situation said Mr. Navarro, who has easy access
to the Oval Office, is arguing that the U.S. should
increase pressure on Canada by evicting the country from the Five Eyes.
It's unclear whether the idea has gained traction with Mr. Trump himself.
London Times, Taiwan detains Chinese ship after undersea cable severed.
This is becoming quite frequent, Doc.
Yes.
Taiwan has detained a Chinese ship after an undersea communication cable to one of its
vulnerable offshore islands was severed, raising suspicions of gray zone sabotage by Beijing.
Now, early on Tuesday, the Taiwanese Coast Guard sent three vessels to intercept a cargo
ship, the Hong Tai, in waters
between the West Coast and the Main Island and offshore Pingu Islands.
The move came after a Taiwanese telecom company reported the severing of one of its undersea
cables.
Now, Taiwan's internet connectivity, which relies on 14 submarine cables that link it
to surrounding countries, is particularly susceptible to what
are being called gray zone threats.
And Taipei has worked to strengthen its connectivity resilience in recent years.
We have this quote, the protection of submarine cables is a crucial issue concerning the national
security of Taiwan.
That's coming from Lee E. Wynne, the presidential spokesman speaking at a human rights convention
earlier today. This is a human rights convention earlier today.
This is a big story at least. I watch Philippine News every night.
This was a big story last night, Philippine News.
And China has been making its presence known, not just, you know, in the straight between Taiwan.
They've also been, of course, in the...
New Zealand?
Off the shore of New Zealand.
Live fire military drills with all naval ships?
Buzzing Coast Guard planes, Philippine Coast Guard planes with helicopters by the PLA.
So China's making its presence in the Asia-Pacific theater known.
They're going to dominate Asia.
Yes.
And it's going to go all the way from New Zealand all the way up to Taiwan.
I mean, it's going to be, that's where China's going to be.
So-
There's multiple New World orders forming.
The world is going to be divided up into sections, and China is going to rule Asia,
the United States is going to rule North and South America, and I don't know who's going to rule Europe.
It could be Russia.
If the Europeans are crazy enough to say, you know what, we're going to fight and resist
this, we're just going to continue preparing for war with Russia, it's going to end up
in their demise.
It's a disaster policy, Doc.
But I don't want to fall into dispensationalism here, but they need a common leader, someone
that Europe can get behind.
There's nobody—you don't have a Napoleon, right?
And you get all these guys like Mr. Macron dreaming of being the new Napoleon.
Tony Blair tried for years.
He wanted to be the first president of Europe.
It didn't happen.
And I don't think it's going't happen. I don't think it's
going to happen. I don't think so either. Europe can't agree on anything. They're separate
countries. They need to get rid of the European Union, go back to being independent European
countries, and then they return to their delightfulness. Italy becomes Right. They become, Italy becomes Italy,
Spain is Spain, France is France, right?
Globalists are trying to push them into being
the European Union, and it's not working.
Right.
Just go back to being an independent country.
And I believe that Europe's just gonna be split right into,
I mean, between those that are leaning more toward the US
and more somewhere else,
whoever it might be. You'll see countries like Italy and Hungary that will definitely
align themselves with the US, maybe several others.
But they have the opportunity to make peace with Russia. Instead, they're going to spend
themselves in the bankruptcy preparing for war with Russia.
Yes.
And Russia's going to become wealthy with the U.S. buying minerals from them and all
other kinds of things.
So in a way, the U.S. will be helping finance the Russians in their war against Europe.
It's crazy.
Next story, South China Morning Post China Arms combat robots
with controversial
Thermobaric weapon in urban warfare drill folks were basically talking
robots with miniature nuclear weapons, yes
Do you know how far we just went in this headline
Doc we just went in this headline? Doc, we just, in one headline, we're now talking about robotic drone warriors armed with nuclear weapons.
And it just goes over the top of everybody's head.
Like, move on to the next article.
Everybody's fascinated with the dancing robots and everything.
Moving on to the next story.
How about the nuclear robots that are coming?
A chilling AI-generated video circulating
on Chinese social media depicts a dystopian urban battlefield
where a robotic dog wielding a machine gun
and humming a nursery rhyme hunts human combatants
in a blackout building. But reality could prove even more terrifying. Recent PLA urban warfare
drills suggest that unmanned platforms armed solely with light weapons may struggle to root
out enemies shielded in buildings or underground bunkers. To achieve what they're calling comprehensive annihilation, Chinese military scientists
now propose equipping ground robots with thermal-barric warheads, weapons of mass destruction second
only to nuclear arms and lethality.
This marks China's first official disclosure of plans to deploy the controversial munitions
on unmanned systems.
Now, Dang Chenguan, lead author of a December study in the Journal of Ordnance Equipment
Engineering said modern cities had become vortexes of warfare where GPS jamming, EMP
interference in dense structures neutralized the advantages of traditional weapons.
But thermobaric weapons filled with powdered metals
like aluminum magnesium, titanium, zirconium,
and non-metals like boron and silicon
detonate in two phases.
Initial aerosol dispersal followed by a supersonic fireball
reaching over 4,500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Now the resulting vacuum effect collapses lungs
and crushes concrete.
A square centimeter of surface area
sustains over 1,100 pounds of overpressure vaporizing
targets within 80 meters and penetrating bunkers
up to 13 feet thick.
It's essentially a mini nuke without radiation,
scientists with the National University of Defense Technology said.
People's Daily article dated when, Rick?
2016.
So they've had this technology for quite a while.
Yes.
Next story, I'm very suspicious about this story.
This came out today, ABC News.
Asteroid 2024YR4 is no longer a threat to Earth, scientists say.
Wait a minute. Just a month ago... Or less than that. Less than a month ago, we're told this thing's
going to strike the Earth at Christmas 2032. And earlier this week, we reported that the odds of it had gone up. It had gone up. And now it mysteriously disappeared.
The odds are gone.
The asteroid apparently made some kind of radical change in its trajectory and is no
longer coming towards Earth.
Now they say it might hit the moon.
Right.
But it's not going to hit the Earth.
That's right.
There's something very suspicious about it.
It says scientists have finally given the all clear to Earth
from a newly discovered asteroid.
After two months of observation, scientists
have almost fully ruled out any threat from the asteroid.
NASA and the European Space Agency said Tuesday.
At one point, the odds of a strike in 2032 was highest 3%. The European Space Agency has lowered the odds to 0.001%.
NASA has it down to 0.002%.
Doc, just weeks ago, the scientists
said this asteroid is going to go dark very soon, Just weeks ago the scientists said
This asteroids going to go dark very soon
Because it's it's going to be move into a place that we can't see it right
We will not see it again
until the year 2028 and
Then in 2028 we will know whether it's going to hit the earth.
Weeks ago, they were showing us where it was going to hit the earth. Right, somewhere in the Indian Ocean, if I recall.
Right.
But they said we will not know until 2028 the precise location of where the impact will be.
Something's not right about this story.
I agree with you.
I don't buy it.
Do you think they're suppressing the real information?
Yes. I think they're trying to tell everybody,
forget that we ever said anything about this thing.
Just forget about it. If anybody brings it up,
tell them the story's been debunked.
There's no asteroid that's going to hit the planet in 2032. That story's been debunked.
It was debunked in February 2025. But they just said weeks ago, we won't know until 2028.
Right. Because the asteroid will be unseen because of its movement. We will not be able to see it with our telescopes.
I don't buy it.
There's something that's not right about that story.
European conservative, a leading LGBTQ activist charged with sexual abuse of a disabled four-year-old child.
Not just abuse, rape.
Rape of a crippled four-year-old child.
What do you do with somebody like that?
What does society do with somebody who does such a crime?
I'll just, you know, those are one of those difficult ethical issues to deal with, because
I'm not a proponent of the death penalty as a Christian, and yet you look at somebody
like this and you go, you raped a four-yearyear-old a crippled four-year-old. I
Don't know what else what where does a crime become more disgusting
You know, but this is the LGBTQ movement, right
This is the face of it right here
This is what they're defending folks
Is it face of it right here. This is what they're defending, folks. This is it.
Now, the next story, this is in the US. Lurid sex chats among NSA agents exposed as Intel
Chief Tulsi Gabbard vows to punish workers posting. This story is so gross. There's stuff
in here I don't even want to say and I would prefer,
Doctor, we don't even read it. Some of it is just so vulgar. We have children that watch
True News. I don't want to even say this stuff. But it's been outed that the director of national intelligence,
Tulsi Gabbard, was irate and promised
to root out national security administration agents who
held lurid sex chats in sensitive government chat
rooms.
Yes, on government time.
In the name of DEI.
Yes.
They were encouraged to join these chat rooms, Rick. On government computers at the NSA? Yes. They were encouraged to join these chat rooms, Rick.
On government computers at the NSA.
Yes.
Not the US Park Service. The NSA.
The National Security Agency.
And they're having perverted online chat conversations.
The most perverse that you can imagine.
Even beyond your imagination.
It is, I've been saying. It's so disgusting. I don't even...
I don't even want to read what was being discussed.
The story was broke by reporters Christopher Rufall and Hannah Goodman.
And they said that their sources claim
that left-wing activists used LGBTQ plus employee resource
groups to turn their kinks and pathologies
into official work duties at the NSA.
Right.
Now, Secretary Gabbard did have a comment on this.
This is 23E for control.
It says, this behavior is unacceptable and those involved will be held accountable.
These discussing chat rooms were immediately shut down when Donald Trump issued his executive
order ending the DEI insanity the Biden administration was obsessed with. Our intelligence community must be focused on our core mission, ensuring the safety,"
she wrote.
Well, I would hope that that would be the primary function because it's in your very
name, safety.
I just can't comprehend that working at an intelligence agency that—
And doing something stupid.
This vulgar and that it was allowed to go on for years.
In fact, it seemed like it was encouraged.
Encouraged.
Yes.
By the Biden administration.
Now, Elon Musk asked last week of federal employees, what did you do last week?
Right? Well, he had a response to Christopher Rufo's report
here, where Christopher Rufo says,
Hannah Grossman and I have obtained logs from the NSA's
secret transgender sex chat room, in which not just the NSA,
but CIA and DIA employees discuss
a variety of different things.
And Elon Musk responded, well, at least we know what they did last week.
So go ahead.
You wonder why this country is, I know, let's talk about judgment.
Right.
Nobody wants to hear about it right now because it's like, well, President Trump's here and
everything's being, do you realize how vulgar and obscene?
our country is
And that this was going on inside
The intelligence agencies of the united states and encouraged and encouraged by the by the president
Talking about the biden administration
Which was a bunch of perverts right in control of the white house
but doc the the chinese the Biden administration, which was a bunch of perverts in control of the White House. But Doc, the Chinese, the Russians,
all the other intelligence agencies hacking
into our computers, knowing what's going on,
saying, these people are sick.
They're perverts.
We could take that country.
We could take them.
They're totally demented. At the right time, we could have a war
and we could take them down. Well, General Michael Flynn, who we haven't heard about a lot of over
the past year or so, but he's back in the news and he had this response to this information that's
come out. There are massive amounts of sickening chat rooms and groups the
U.S. intelligence community maintains and many on government unclassified and classified systems.
In them are people communicating with each other in their own little code words who are in opposition
to the Donald Trump administration. These represent a massive counterintelligence problem, and they need to be immediately shut down.
The decent CI people who we do actually have in government should be asked to examine them
to determine if subversive behavior is occurring, and if so, prosecute those conducting it and
then expose them.
Bottom line, these have to be dealt with.
They happen on USG and taxpayer time, United States government and taxpayer time, and not
only are a complete waste of time, they're detrimental to our national security system.
And they make us completely vulnerable.
The one agency that should be concerned about the infiltration of foreign agents in the United States, the National Security Agency.
They're compromised. They're compromised sexually, and by extension, I'm sure other intelligence
agencies, foreign intelligence agencies, have the goods on them. So this has put us in a very precarious situation.
This is why they didn't want Gabbard at DNI.
That's right.
But exposing this gives her the cover to fire a lot of people.
And the people that they're firing are leftist Democrats.
Yes. And General Flynn is inferring in his post there that they were talking more than just
all the sexual activity.
They could be talking code words about taking down the Trump administration.
Yes.
He's implying that.
Yes.
That's what I'm saying.
This is the way to clean out the resistance.
They're looking for the ways.
The Trump administration is looking for the ways to remove these people from the government.
Some of them are doing it on their own.
Newsweek said more than 20 staff members of Doge quit.
Well, good riddance, goodbye.
So 20 people walked out.
Big deal.
The article makes it sound like that these people abandoned
Donald Trump, that Donald, excuse me, Elon Musk,
that Musk brought them in.
And that they've left him now.
But that's not the case at all.
No, the story, you have to read the story because
Newsweek is newspeak. More than 20 civil service employees resigned Tuesday from Elon Musk's
Department of Government Efficiency, citing their refusal to use their technical expertise
to, quote, dismantle critical public services. This is their statement. We swore to serve
the American people and uphold our oath to the Constitution across
the Presidential Administrations,' the 21 staffers wrote in a joint resignation letter.
However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments."
It's funny how the Associated Press can get a copy of this letter.
This is why we read the whole article, folks.
Many had previously held senior positions
at major tech firms like Google and Amazon
and had joined the government
out of a commitment to public service.
That changed with Trump's decision to empower Musk.
Now, this is Newsweek saying this.
The day after Trump's inauguration,
the staffers wrote they were summoned
to a series of interviews that previewed the opaque and disruptive operation of most Department
of Government efficiency, or DOJ.
To give you the Reader's Digest version of what happened, President Trump did not create
a new agency with DOJ. He renamed an agency that President Obama had created and had been in
existence since the Obama administration that had to do with internet security. What has
happened is Doge has taken over that. These staffers that left were part of that original
group, part of the Obama Obama, Biden legacy folks,
not the new people that have come on board.
All they did was-
But if you read Newsweek, just the headline,
you would think, oh man, Musk is losing people now.
All they did is make room
for 20 Trump supporters to be hired.
That's right.
Nothing detrimental happening.
I want you to hear a statement by House Speaker Mike Johnson talking about Elon Musk.
Listen very closely to what he said Elon Musk has accomplished.
In the Congress, we could have oversight.
The problem is for decades, as we know, we haven't been able to do that job well.
Because even though we requested the data and requested the insight, it was hidden.
How many of you know that bureaucracy was not forthcoming, right?
They're not transparent.
That's the whole point.
That's the problem.
That's the deep state we talk about.
So they were hiding from Congress.
We didn't know that USAID was funding drag shows in Peru or whatever, you know, transgender
operas in Colombia or whatever.
It's madness. But Elon has cracked the code. drag shows in Peru or whatever, you know, transgender operas in Colombia, whatever, you know.
It's madness.
But Elon has cracked the code.
He is now inside the agencies.
He's created these algorithms that are constantly crawling through the data.
And as he told me in his office, the data doesn't lie.
We're going to be able to get the information.
We're going to be able to transform the way the federal government works at the end of
this.
And that is a very exciting prospect.
It is truly a revolutionary moment for the nation.
He's inside the agencies.
He's created algorithms that are crawling through the data.
I said weeks ago, he's employing AI.
Yes.
AI is finding these shocking discoveries of trillions of dollars with no accountability.
People 150 years old on the Social Security payroll or benefits payment.
It's AI that's doing it.
It's basically what the speaker said without saying AI.
He said he's created algorithms that's crawling through the age.
So you can't stop it now, Doc.
It can't be turned off now.
The AI system is moving through the government computers now.
I don't know if Elon Musk can turn it off right now.
Wouldn't it be amazing that he can't turn it off? That it just keeps going,
finding more data, getting down into state and city and county governments?
I proposed a couple years ago that eventually
elected officials would be eliminated, that governments would be run by AI.
I'm not a proponent of that.
I'm just saying I can see it going in that direction because people will make
the argument AI is more efficient.
You have corruption when you have humans.
You have inefficiency, waste.
You know, you had made mention, I think it was about 18 months, two years ago,
how do we know that the government isn't right now being managed by AI?
So who's to say that the Obama slash Biden administration didn't use AI
to create all this intricate web of all these different organizations connected?
This entirely would be possible.
It would take another AI.
To undo it.
To unravel it.
Think about it, to unravel it. Think about it folks. Alright, the next one. Okay, no. I want to show you. The FCC, the Federal
Communication Commission, has a new chairman, Brendan Carr. Radio guy. A radio
guy. And I'll tell you, when I saw this today. I had a big smile and never in my lifetime
have I seen an
FCC
Commission chairman let alone an FCC commissioner right climb an
1800 foot high tower to change the lights at the top of the tower
You got a hand at this guy. He's truly a broadcast man.
He is a broadcast man.
Watch this video.
This is the chairman of the Federal Communication Commission.
We're in Spanish Fort today with Hasani and his crew.
They're refitting this 1800 foot tower with an entirely new lighting system.
I've had the chance to climb with crews a lot in my time on the commission.
This is my first time climbing as chairman.
So we're finally going to answer the age old question of how many chairs does it take to
change a light bulb?
Hopefully no more than one, but I think we're going to get the job done.
Hasani, maybe talk a little bit about what you've been doing here this last couple of
weeks.
Well, we're here to install a, we're taking off the old lighting system and putting up
a new lighting system on this 1800 foot tower.
And it is an honor to have Chairman Carr here with us and willing to
go up on tower and that shows his bravery and his willingness to help us in the broadcast industry.
Happy to have you here. Thanks so much. Asani's long served the country. He's a combat vet in the
army. He's now been doing this for a number of years. You know most people when they turn their
smartphone on or turn their tv on they think it just works maybe on magic or pixie dust but it's
the hard work of Asny and tower crews like him
that get it done.
We're looking forward to getting up there today.
Look forward to it, man.
So that's fun.
Thanks.
That's a climb, buddy. Oh yeah.
How do you go back down, Doc?
You climb back down?
Oh man, I would freeze.
I'd get up there and freeze.
I'd say, you're going to have to come with a helicopter and get me out of here.
I know Paul Crouch used to climb all the TBN tower. He did. I know for a fact that he did.
And you know, when we visited in St. Kitts, we had some of Paul's climbing gear there in St. Kitts that we saw.
That's right. No, I know for a fact he told me that. He said he climbed every tower that TBN built.
One time I was in a meeting sitting at a table like this. Right.
In TBN and it was Paul Crouch, Jay Sekulow, and Bob Higley, who was the vice president
and myself.
And Paul Crouch looked at Jay Sekulow and said, Jay, what do you feel when you see a television tower?
And J's like, I don't feel anything.
Paul says, do you feel anything?
He goes, no, I don't feel anything.
And Paul put his hands, he goes, when I look at a TV tower, my palms start sweating.
He was as serious as anything, absolutely serious. He said, I
just want to get out and climb it. He truly was a broadcast guy. He loved
climbing those towers. So he built a tower in a city. That was his way of
saying, I won, I accomplished it, I did it. The tower is up, I'm gonna climb to the
top of the tower, look over the city and see the broadcast range of the TV station, you know
So so Brendan Carr is sending the message here that he's gonna be fearless as the FCC chair. Yes. He is you got a doc
You got it that I didn't even notice that
That's that's the that's the the message. Don't mess with me.
I'll be fearless, and I'll climb places you've never seen.
I'll climb your tower.
I'll climb your tower, and I'm going to take the FCC places
you never imagined we would go.
So it's going to be a very interesting term.
Next three, I'm going to show you. I'm you not gonna talk about it. Just going to show you I saw a
kind of a
Cluster of
Propaganda stories on NBC today. I don't know why they were all in NBC, but I'm gonna walk you through it
There is all propaganda. So here's the first one
FBI agents express shock and dismay over the naming of a right-wing
podcaster to the number two FBI post, which is damn bonjino, no?
That story, the headline is telling you that inside the FBI,
the agents, they've got smelling salts.
They're passed out.
They don't know what to do.
A podcaster, a right-wing podcaster,
is going to be the number two man running the FBI.
There's shock.
There's horror.
There's dismay.
Oh, my.
That's the image they want you to see.
Right.
It's all a bunch of BS, OK?
It's propaganda.
Next one, NBC.
After heated town halls, Republicans seek more information
and compassion from Doge.
Now this is to tell you, the Republicans are scared.
Yes.
They're running for cover.
They don't know what to do.
Doge has shut down so many government agencies, fired so many government workers.
And people are showing up at town halls.
And people are angry and the Republicans are scared and they don't know what to do.
It's propaganda.
They want congressmen to read that headline and go, oh my, it might come to my district. Well now, there's also, there are paid democratic rabble-rousers going to town hall meetings.
Right.
These are being organized.
They're being organized.
The third propaganda.
Disease outbreaks and starvation deaths will increase as a result of USAID cuts.
Officials say.
Look at that, Doc. Disease.
People are going to starve to death.
What, you mean the people that were getting trillions of dollars in payments?
Are they going to starve?
The only people that will be starving would be the people who missed a photo op when the
USA rice bag showed up.
Or you mean maybe the 9,000 news reporters that were getting checks from the USAID?
Yes.
Not serving kids, mind you.
Yeah.
No, that's propaganda.
Don't believe that stuff.
The last one before we wrap it up here, I saw this video today and I thought, this video
to me says it all, why we should never go to war with Russia.
You should not fight a Russian.
Who gets in a cage with a brown bear and wrestles a brown bear?
Who does that?
A Russian.
A Russian.
I know.
I'll pin him to the ground. What's wrong with these Russians?
I'm going to put a bear in a headlock.
I like the sound that they've added to it, you know, with the crowd cheering.
Oh yes.
There you go.
He's got the bear cheering. Oh yes. There you go. He's got the bear
pin. The bears up. Who does that kind of stuff? Russians. Don't mess with them. Don't fight
Russians. They wrestle with bears. Hey that's it for today. Thank you. I want to
encourage you to support True News. I have to say it once a while folks we depend on

We appreciate it. You know, another ministry that we're doing
through this work is morning manna. And it is producing spiritual fruit. That ministry itself
deserves full support. The teaching of the Word of God, a daily Bible class with people coming from usually 15 to
22 nations every day.
We're truly going worldwide teaching the Word of God in real time.
And one of the comments that we constantly get from people, both when they're in the
live chat, which goes on, so if you join us live, weekday mornings at 8 a.m. Eastern time,
you can participate in the live chat. But we also replay it on various social platforms.
The feedback that we get is, I've never heard the Bible taught this way before.
I hear that constantly. I receive those messages directly.
Over and over and over.
I've never heard the Bible taught like this before. Because they used to
teach the Bible this way, but over the past 40, 50 years, a lot of churches have resigned themselves
to off-board their intense teaching of the Word of God. Doc, we're not, you know this, we're not teaching anything new.
No, not at all.
We're teaching the way the Word was taught 50 to 100 years ago.
That's all we're doing.
We're just going back to what churches used to teach.
And it sounds new to people.
Yes.
Reading the Bible, reading the Scripture, and just saying, this is what it says.
Right. That's, if anything, that's the easiest part of it.
It is.
That's the easiest part.
The tough part is preparing and getting your mind ready and studying the Word.
But for the people listening, it's revolutionary.
And you said every single day somebody says, I have never, I've been going to church for decades, I have never heard this book of the Bible taught like this.
Right.
Well, that's very satisfying to us because that means that we are serving good food.
And we're held accountable for that.
Yes, we are.
You and I, we're held accountable for what is being taught.
That's right.
We're going to stand before Jesus.
And I can honestly say I am doing my very best
to teach the word as pure as I can teach it.
If you've never watched Morning Man, why don't you watch it?
It's coming up right now.
See you tomorrow.
Bye.

Welcome to Morning Manna.
Today is Tuesday and we are studying the book of Romans.
We're in the sixth chapter and today we will look at verses 12 through 17.
Let's pray.
Father God, Almighty God in heaven, the creator, the one and only God, our heavenly Father, our Papa.
Father, we pray to you in the name of Jesus Christ, your only begotten Son and our only
Savior.
Father, we have gathered today hungry for your word, and so we invite the Holy Spirit to gather, to take his seat at the head of
the table and lead this morning manna Bible study that we may learn more about Jesus Christ and his
kingdom. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen. Amen and good morning everyone. Welcome to the people
from all over the world here joining us for our live edition of morning manna here
Here in the eight o'clock hour on the east coast of the United States on faith and values comm
Thank you for joining us this morning. We love you very much
If you haven't heard anyone say they love you we're the first ones today
We love you very much and we're glad we're so glad that you're here right now
We are in Romans chapter six,
and we continue our study,
picking back up at verse 12 today.
And so if you'll read along with me,
before we started today,
I had several people ask me
what version of the Bible you'd recommend.
And I like using the King James.
That's just my personal preference.
There are those that use the New King James,
the World English Bible, the Modern English version,
the New American Standard, the English Standard version.
There's a number of ones that we can recommend to you,
whatever you're comfortable with.
What's most important is that you're in the Word.
If I can get you in the Word first,
that'll be a great start.
And so, verse 12, chapter six,
let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body
that you should obey it in the lust thereof.
Neither yield ye your members
as instruments of righteousness unto sin,
but yield yourselves unto God
as those that are alive from the dead
and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Verse 14, for sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under
the law but under grace. Verse 15, what then shall we sin because we are not
under the law but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey,
whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness.
Verse 17, but God be thanked that ye were the servants of sin, but you
have obeyed from the heart that form of
doctrine which was delivered you
god bless the reading of his word today amen verse 12 therefore don't let
sin reign in your mortal body that you should obey
it in its lust
sins authority lust. Sin's authority has been broken.
It's been shattered through Jesus Christ.
Now, this is the paradox.
Sin has been defeated, and yet it still exists.
How do you explain it?
Well, there are criminals in the world.
Their authority has been, their existence has been declared illegal.
Their activities have been declared illegal. Their activities have been declared illegal.
Their power broken, and yet they still operate, they still exist.
So the authority of sin over the human race has been shattered
for those who are in Christ.
And yet sin still exists.
It's still seeking to reassert control.
And it will do so until Christ comes back.
Believers, baptized believers must not allow
sin to dominate thoughts, desires, and actions. It begins in the mind. The
command, let not sin reign. Yes. Let not sin rule. It speaks of our personal responsibility in resisting the influence of sin.
You can't say the devil made me do it.
Nope.
You could before you were saved, but you can't now.
Right.
Paul speaks of the mortal body as talking about your physical body. But you can't now. Right.
Paul speaks of the mortal body as talking about your physical body.
Your physical body is vulnerable to sin's temptations.
Your physical body always wants to sin. The sin operates through the body's appetite's desires, lust.
And so vigilance is required to prevent those desires from becoming avenues for sin's control.
Right.
But let's not forget, every sin begins with a thought.
Yes. It starts up here. Every sin, every sin
begins with a thought before it before it takes root in your body. Temptation is not They call to sin.
View temptation as like if you look at your phone and the caller ID said Satan calling,
that's what temptation is.
Hey, you got a call from Satan.
He's got an idea he wants to share with you.
Is that you have is that when scam likely shows up on my phone?
That's right. Scam likely. So you have to decline the call.
It's your responsibility to decline the call. Now if see where people get in trouble is that they're well, you know what, I'm
just going to I'm going to take the call and just listen to what he's got in mind. I'm not going to do it. I'm just
going to listen to it. No, you just set yourself up to fall. So when Satan calls and you'll see see on your mind's iPhone, the caller ID says Satan calling, just reject the call.
You'll get to the point where you'll ban him.
That's the idea.
You want to get to the place where you just ban the calls.
He knows not to even bother. So yielding to sinful lust is incompatible with the
believer's identity in Christ. You can't be schizophrenic. That's spiritual
schizophrenia. To say I want to I'm walking with Christ and yet you're falling in sin.
It's spiritual schizophrenia.
Now, obedience to God reflects a dedication.
It's got to be an active dedication to his purposes his call to us to be holy
Amen
How can we resist sin?
Through grace and the Holy Spirit and the Word.
We use the...
How did Jesus overcome temptation?
The Word.
It is written.
Each time in the wilderness after the baptism when Satan tempted Jesus, Jesus always
responded, it is written. He stood on the Word. The Word of God, God's grace, the
Holy Spirit will give you the ability to resist sin. Because our ability to overcome sin is connected to our
union with Christ's death and resurrection. And that union provides us the power and the a life free from sins control.
So sanctification involves making daily decisions that reflect holiness.
Our lives today are just, it's just a culmination of decisions that we made in the past words that we spoke decisions that we made
You can change your future
Your future will have a today and
That today in your future can be better than today is
Because you can change what you think, what you say, the decisions
that you make.
Eventually your life will take on a new look. Sin's dominion is absolute over unsaved people.
But for believers, we fight from a position of victory.
And if we are tempted and we fall,
we have the assurance of forgiveness. So that reassures us that we're not defeated. Victory is only, victory over sin is not only possible,
but it's assured through the finished work
of Christ on the cross.
That is the most important thing I want you to hear today.
Your victory over sin is
assured by what Jesus did for you on the cross. Amen. Have you ever considered
that resisting sin is a form of worship? Hmm, I like that. Father, the devil came to me with a tempting idea. I resisted him because
I worship your father. I resisted him. I turned down the idea because I am loyal to you, I'm devoted to you.
I'm worshiping you with my obedience.
She turned everything into a positive, active action
of worship and praise. Yes.
Living a victorious life glorifies God.
It's a witness to other people.
Amen.
Verse 13.
Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourself to God as alive from the dead, and your members as
instruments of righteousness to God." The word present, the Greek word, signifies a deliberate
Deliberate, it said present, not present, present.
The Greek word for present signifies a deliberate offering of yourself.
Present yourself.
Paul said,
neither present your members to sin,
but present yourself to God.
Amen.
So believers must actively choose whom they serve, Satan or God.
That's what this is all about.
If you constantly yield to sin, you're serving Satan.
Right.
Members.
I believe it refers to all parts of your being,
your physical being, your mental, your spiritual faculties.
your physical being, your mental, your spiritual faculties,
that these, what Paul calls members,
parts of your life, your mind, your physical body, the parts of your body,
that they can either be instruments for sin or righteousness.
instruments for sin or righteousness.
If you yield your members of your body, your mind,
the physical parts of your body, if you yield to sin,
you are accepting sin's dominion over your life. You have to see sin as a dethroned ruler
over your life. You have to see sin as a dethroned ruler that has no jurisdiction and no power over you. Alive from the dead. That speaks of your spiritual resurrection through the union with Christ.
We're called to live in the power of a new life, free from the dominion of sin.
When the members of our body, the parts of our body are presented to God,
they become instruments for righteousness.
You're dedicating your body to the glory of God.
Your body is the temple of the Lord.
All right, I'm gonna i'm gonna say something and this is going to be one of those big ouch moments
So when you are engaged in a really bad sin that you know, you shouldn't be doing
Where's the Holy Spirit?
If the Holy Spirit dwells inside of you,
does the Holy Spirit close His eyes and ears while you commit your sin?
Or does He leave?
Do you want the Holy Spirit to leave?
God forbid, what happens to you then?
So, when we sin, we grieve the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit has to withstand your sinful actions. I don't know what that looks like. I don't know. That thought alone greatly
troubles me that we grieve the Holy Spirit by our behavior, with our words, with our attitudes, our anger, our bitterness, our cursing, the sinful behavior.
We grieve the Holy Spirit. What does He do when we're in that state? When we are in a
state of sin, what does the Holy Spirit do? Does He go to another room?
Does he just close his eyes and his ears?
So I got to get through this.
That should be a very humbling thought.
Our ability to yield to God is enabled by God's grace and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
See, God, He provides everything that we need.
He doesn't say, okay, I forgave your sins, you guys are on your own, but you have to
be holy.
No, He gives us grace.
The Holy Spirit dwells inside of us to give us power, dunamis power.
He doesn't abandon us and say, I'll see you later when the world's over or when you die.
He's with us 24 hours a day to enable us to be victorious.
The question is, does our sin grieve us?
It grieves the Holy Spirit according to Ephesians 4.30, but does it grieve us?
What should grieve you is that you are grieving the Holy Spirit.
Right.
See, when the Holy Spirit becomes so intimate with you that you can't bear the thought of
hurting Him, then sin loses its luster because the thought of disappointing the Holy Spirit is so great
that you're like, I can't do that.
I just can't do that. While the battle against sin continues in our life, God's faithful presence in our
life ensures ultimate victory.
If you stay in the fight, He'll stay in the fight with you.
Sometimes there are sins that are stubborn.
It takes a while to get victory over them.
Some sins disappear as soon as we get saved, other sins hang around. I've given this analogy many times, so probably half of you or more have heard me say this,
but it's a good lesson.
So when I was a kid, my granddad had a lot of hunting traps.
He didn't use them anymore, but they were from his young days.
And Doc, he had them in this giant wooden chest.
Like a... I mean, it was big.
It was something...
you know, it was probably four feet tall, three or four feet tall, you know, and there was
all kinds of goodies in there and they were all like from the 1920s and 30s.
For me as a kid, I was like, I just would open that thing and look in there, see what
all's in here.
But he had he had various animal traps.
And you know, so that's back, you know, in the days when Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone
were TV shows and boys wanted to be Daniel Boone.
Coonskin Cap.
Yeah.
So I'd come home from school and I would get these traps and I'd go out in the farm
fields and I would into the woods and stuff and I would set these traps.
And so I'd come home from school, I'd run back into the woods to see if I caught anything.
You know, never really, you know, I never caught the bear I thought I was going to catch.
I don't know what I would have done if there had been a bear in a trap.
But the one thing I did learn about trapping is you place the trap where you see the animal's
tracks. You just don you see the animals tracks.
You just don't throw the traps anywhere.
You look for the animals tracks.
How this is applied to us,
because when people get caught in serious sin,
they'll say, well, the devil trapped me.
Well, all that means is the devil set a trap
where he saw your tracks.
Okay?
So, if a guy gets caught coming out of a massage parlor,
it's because his tracks were around the massage parlor
Okay, and the devil looked and said oh I know who that is
I'm gonna trap this one
So you just think that keep that in mind when Satan is enticing you to sin
He's setting a trap where you where he knows that you regularly go.
And he'll get you one day. He will get you one day. He'll destroy your life.
You'll pay a terrible price. And he'll laugh and laugh and laugh. But he didn't trap you, you trapped yourself.
Verse 14, for sin will not have dominion over you,
for you are not under law but under grace.
Sin's authority is broken. It still exists but its authority is broken.
It still exists, but its authority is broken.
It can no longer rule over you.
It ruled over you before you were saved,
but it cannot rule over you now.
You have to give it permission.
give it permission. We experience liberation from sin through our union with Christ.
Paul says living under the law, well we know what that means.
It means facing the condemnation of the law.
The law exposes sin, but it doesn't provide a way to defeat it.
That's right.
But grace, grace liberates you from the control of sin.
It empowers you to live righteously.
And under grace, believers find both forgiveness and transformation.
Do we sin as believers?
Yes.
But the goal is to sin less and less and less every year
and to be transformed more and more and more every year.
That's the goal.
more and more every year. That's the goal. Don't let Satan bring condemnation on you for past sins. You've been forgiven. The purpose not your boss. It was your boss, but it's not
your boss now. It's not your slave master. We triumph over sin through God's grace, through the blood of Christ. Verse 15, Paul asked a
question, what then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace?
God forbid. We've touched on this before in Romans.
Paul is, the lawyer is anticipating
the argument against him.
Right, coming back to it again.
It's this rhetorical question that he asked earlier
in Romans.
Because he knew that some people people there would be two groups
of people one group of people would actually misuse the doctrine of grace and others would accuse Paul
of teaching a wrong doctrine right so he's he's heading off both he's dealing with them
So, he's heading off both. He's dealing with them.
He's saying, look, I'm not giving you permission to sin, and I'm not teaching a doctrine that
gives permission to sin.
But he says, God forbid, that's as emphatic of sinning under grace is absolutely, completely incompatible
with the gospel.
God forbid. Rather than granting a license to sin, grace transforms the believer's heart to pursue
holiness.
The focus isn't on avoiding sin, the focus is on pleasing God. See, when you are, when you are obsessed with pleasing your Father, sin
has no appeal to you. If the greatest thing in your life every day is to please your Father,
then you know the one thing that would displease in this sin.
So you don't even go there.
Right.
You don't even drive around the block.
You don't even go to that neighborhood.
Right, because it's displeasing to your father. It troubles me the people who claim to be Christians who have zero, no control over
their mouth.
And we'll just say, just whatever they think is coming out of their mouth.
How do they think that that pleases God?
How do they think that the Lord is happy hearing them talk with such vulgar language or angry
or bitter or just whatever comes out of their mouth?
How do they think that God is pleased with that? If the Holy Spirit is residing in them, the Holy Spirit's hearing
all that stuff. See, He's a lot closer than you realize He's inside of you. You can't get any closer than to be inside of you.
So grace empowers us to reject sin and to obey God's will. It motivates us to that our lives reflect our identity in Christ.
Therefore, our daily living should be holy.
Verse 16, know you not that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom
ye obey, whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness?
Let me say this in the modern English.
Don't you know that when you present yourselves as obedient servants to someone,
you are the servants of whomever you obey, whether of sin to death or of obedience to righteousness?
Right. Don't you know?
You see the facial expressions on Paul.
Don't you know?
Certainly you people understand this.
You know this, right?
Obedience leads to servitude.
We become slaves to what or whom we obey.
Right. And don't be deceived here and think just because the word there is
yield or present that it's kind of a passive
thing. In the Greek, that word King James uses yield, other modern
English uses the word present.
That is in the active form.
In other words, you are actively doing it.
It's not just, well, I yielded to it.
No, you presented yourself, you went out and made yourself available to it.
Paul's saying you're a slave either to God or to sin.
Yes.
You're a slave to Satan or you're a slave to God.
And your servitude comes naturally.
You're going to obey one or the other.
You're going to obey Satan or you're going to obey God.
And whichever one you obey, that's your master.
But he wants you to know that serving sin leads to spiritual and eternal death.
And serving God leads to eternal life.
So we actively choose our master by our actions, our thoughts, our words, our decisions, our
behavior.
And over a lifetime,
you choose your master.
Right.
And that choice reveals our true allegiance and commitment.
Now in our modern world, we don't have the idea, really. We don't really understand that idea of the slave,
the servant that's bound to a master.
But the Romans would, the audience in Rome would,
they would understand, because they see slaves every day.
In fact, probably some of them who were receiving
this message were slaves in the natural sense. They understood that as a slave you were bound to a
master and only the master could free you. There's nothing that you could do on your own other than
submit to the shackles to which you're bound. The only difference is in the believer's life,
we can choose who shackles we want to be bound to.
We can choose righteousness or unrighteousness.
Righteousness through Christ,
unrighteousness through the devil and his works.
But the Romans understood this concept.
As a slave, you had no ownership rights.
You had no rights, really, as a slave.
You were property.
You belonged to someone else.
Amen.
Doc, I want to go back to this thing of misusing your mouth, thinking that you have a license to shoot off your
mouth all day long, just say ungodly things about people, and to say, well, I just tell
it like it is. That's me. just tell it like it is.
That's me.
I tell it like it is.
That person's a no good blankety blank.
And they're just, their mouth is just cursing.
You see, it's cursing.
When I say it's vulgar, it doesn't necessarily
mean four-letter words, although usually people like that
spit them out.
although usually people like that spit them out. But vulgar is that it's obscene to God.
It's language that's obscene to God, filled with condemnation, filled with judgment, filled with
anger, bitterness, you know, judging people, cursing, threatening, all that kind of stuff. See, how can a person talk like that and say that he or she is a Christian?
Because your mouth is revealing your heart, your mouth is revealing your allegiance.
If you have allegiance to Christ, you can't talk that way.
Amen, Rick. Amen.
You just can't talk that way if you have allegiance to Christ. You can't do it.
He doesn't give you a license to do it.
We all, we get angry at times, say something, what do we do right away? We go to God, forgive me God, forgive me.
I blurted out something that was wrong, forgive me for saying that.
But people that do this all day long, there's no fear of God.
They don't have an allegiance to Him.
They say they do, but they're not. You can't talk that way about other people and be
faithful to God, because your language contradicts God's kingdom language.
Do you think you could go into heaven, walk down the streets of heaven and talk like that?
Just think about it.
Just picture.
So if you would not be allowed to talk
the way you talk in this life,
if you would not be allowed to talk in heaven that way,
what makes you think you're going to be there?
They're not gonna let you in.
There has to be a transformation.
You have to be brought into submission to Christ.
Your tongue has to be bridled. It has to be brought into submission.
Somebody today needs to hear this. Okay? You can't leave this Bible study and go cursing somebody. You got to stop it. You got to stop it. Your tongue needs to submit to Christ.
Obedience to Satan and sin brings bondage and it brings separation from God.
and it brings separation from God. Obedience to God brings union with him and freedom and righteousness and alignment with his will. You can't have
it half and half. Can't have it that way.
And when I order an iced tea, I always say I want a half and half, half sweet, half unsweet.
Or here in Florida, they'll think you're asking for an Arnold Palmer, half tea and half lemonade.
Which is great. But you can't go through life half sin and
half righteous. You got to pick one. You can't have it half and half. Well, when I feel like shooting off my mouth about somebody, I'll do it.
No, you can't do that.
When you feel like blowing your anger, your temper, you know.
No, you can't do it.
When you feel like holding your grudge.
I'm going to hold a grudge. I'm not going to talk.
I'm not going to talk to that person ever.
Really? And you're going to call yourself a believer. I'm gonna hold a grudge. I'm not gonna talk. I'm not gonna talk to that person ever
Really?
And you're gonna call yourself a believer and you're not gonna talk to somebody
See your actions proves your allegiance is to Satan and sin and not to God and Christ and his ways.
Holiness manifests itself through obedience and righteous living.
So we recognize that our earthly choices
lead to eternal consequences.
lead to eternal consequences. What you do, what you say, the way you live now will determine the way you live forever. You have nobody to point to other than yourself.
Verse 17,
"'But God be thanked that ye were the servants of sin, "'but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine
"'which was delivered to you.'"
Modern English, but thanks be to God that whereas you were bond servants
of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were
delivered. Yes. So now, Paul... There's a lot in that verse. There's a lot in that verse. Well, he
begins with an attitude of gratitude. Yes. Thanks to God. But God be thanked. He's
talking about the profound change from sin to righteousness. That only, it's
only by God, we're thanking God for it because it's his grace.
It's the source of this transformation.
And this grace is available to us because of the price Jesus
paid on the cross.
It wouldn't be available to us if he hadn't gone to the cross.
So Paul say we were once enslaved to sin. We
were completely under his control.
Obedience, he says, as from the heart. He's talking about the sincerity, the deep internal change that obedience brings, that
there is genuine voluntary submission to God's will.
Paul talks about the form of doctrine.
The gospel, this teaching, this form of doctrine is the gospel that transforms our lives to each day conform more and more to the image of Christ.
Amen.
You know, today's modern church makes the word doctrine a dirty word doesn't it? Oh they do
But doctrine saves doctrine saves
the wrong doctrine kills
But the right doctrine saves
And and this is very important. There's only one doctrine
Yes, God does not have doctrines. It's not plural.
It's not the doctrines of God.
He has one doctrine.
But when we talk about doctrine in men, it's plural.
The doctrines of men, the doctrines of devils.
But God has one doctrine.
He doesn't change from day to day.
He's got the same doctrine now that he had before he made the world. Again, this grace, this transformation, it's entirely attributed to God's grace.
Nothing that we do.
It's God's grace that enables us to break free of sin. Satan smashed it to smithereens on the cross.
And then God gave us grace so that daily we can resist sin as it tries to be reconstituted
in our lives. Dr. Hicks, do you have any final words on this verse?
No.
The idea, though, is that where it talks about that form of
doctrine which was delivered to you, that there is a correct
teaching, that there is a right teaching.
And by contrast, it's a very of doctrine which was delivered to you, that there is a correct teaching, that there is a right
teaching. And by contrast, that would mean that there's a wrong teaching out there too that some
believe. But that the doctrine, the teaching, the presentation of the gospel that was presented,
Paul says was already presented to the church in Rome that was presented to you is what saves you.
It's not just an option.
It's not like, well, I can choose this and that
and this and everything else.
No, there is a specific teaching of salvation
that God delivers to his people that saves.
Doug, I think this might be a good point
that we've got a couple of minutes remaining
to talk about the word Catholic.
Right.
Because most Protestants run when you say Catholic,
because they think that you're going to introduce to them
something that they shouldn't hear.
Right.
The word Catholic, the correct use of the word Catholic is a lowercase C,
not a capital C, lowercase C.
The Catholic is an adjective.
Something is Catholic.
It doesn't mean the Roman Catholic Church. See, in the beginning, in the first, I'd say first 400 years, all churches were Catholic.
Yes. There was no Catholic, there was no denomination called the Catholic Church. Right. And you didn't say, well, where do you go to church?
And someone said, I go to the Catholic church.
Well, I go to the Protestant church.
There was no such thing.
Just there were no denominations, none, none at all.
No denominations.
If you said to somebody, is your church Catholic?
They would have said, well, of course it's Catholic.
You know why?
Here's why.
The true meaning of the word Catholic is our church teaches the only doctrine
that's ever been preached as truth.
Yes.
The doctrine of God, the doctrine that has been taught everywhere at all times
as the doctrine of God, the doctrine of
Christ. That's what the word Catholic means. It's like the word Orthodox. You have Orthodox churches.
Orthodox means right teaching. Right teaching. A Greek Orthodox means right teaching. A Greek Orthodox means right Greek Orthodox Church means this is a church in Greece that has the right teaching
That's what it means
Right now I see several members in our chat that are saying the word Catholic means universal
I disagree with that. No, it doesn't it does not mean universal. There's a difference. You want to explain the difference Rick?
Well, the Mooney Church is universal. Right. They call themselves the universal
unification church, okay, meaning it's everywhere. We got, we got, we got
denom, we got congregations everywhere. See, you can have a wrong doctrine that's everywhere.
Yes, you can have a wrong doctrine that's universal. Yes.
Yes, you can have a wrong doctrine that's universal. Yes.
But this means, Catholic means, this is the true doctrine of the church taught from the
beginning.
That's the original pure meaning of the word Catholic.
And once again, that's a small C Catholic there, not large C.
Okay.
Not capital.
No.
See, once it becomes a capital, it becomes a noun.
Yes.
But Catholic with a lower case C is an adjective.
It's describing the state of something.
That the church is Catholic, meaning they have maintained the true gospel.
Now, where are we today in the world?
There are so many gospels being taught, so many doctrines being taught.
There are thousands of denominations.
It's a mess. It is a mess.
I don't know how God keeps it all going.
I don't know. I don't know how God keeps it all going. I Don't know I don't know he works through these denominations. He works through all these
Organizations, I don't know how he does it, but that's why he's God
But back in those first 400 years they were they the the the bishops were
very the the bishops were very um adamant about maintaining the true doctrine
right and they were all seen i'm sorry well i'm just saying they would you know they would
go after heretics like like like a heretic was like a you know a virus. Can't let that heresy get going, get a spread.
It'll become universal. Right. And when they use when we use a small c catholic word that meant
that if I went to Ephesus I would hear the same doctrine the same teaching as I did in Athens, as I did in Rome, as I would in
Carthage, as I would in Jerusalem. There wouldn't be a variety of... well, here's
the way we view the salvation of Christ. No, there would be one teaching that's in
Ephesus, Athens, Rome, Jerusalem that was exactly the same,
the same doctrine in all churches. Listen, Jesus invented franchising.
What's a franchise?
A McDonald's franchise, a Burger King franchise,
or whatever.
The purpose of a franchise is to tell the customer
wherever you are in the world,
if you walk inside a building that has our name on it,
we are gonna do everything possible
to make sure that the taste, the texture,
the quality, the service is identical to any other place you go in.
Right. That a Big Mac in Montana tastes just like a Big Mac in California. Right.
Or Rome or Hong Kong or anywhere in the world. Anywhere in the world and get the same Big Mac. Okay, that's the concept of franchising.
So the early church were the originators of franchising.
So each congregation was a franchise
and they kept the recipe, the secret sauce.
You couldn't mess with the secret sauce.
Right. The secret sauce. Right.
The secret sauce is the gospel.
And the bishops would come down on, you know, a renegade priest,
who would be tinkering around with the secret sauce.
You know, I don't like using these terms about the gospel, but I'm trying to help you get
a picture of what we're talking about.
It's like, no, that's the gospel.
This is what we stick with.
But over, I mean, I mean, it's been over 2,000 years now, and people have tinkered with the
secret sauce.
So what are we trying to do here in this morning Man of Bible
study?
To the best of our human abilities.
And we are not invaluable men.
We are flawed men and women, just like you are.
We are doing our best to present the secret sauce to you as
close as we can get it. That's what we're searching for every day. Father, what is
what is the truth of your Word? We want to present it today in morning manna. We
want to strip away all the additives, all the fillers,
all the stuff that people have added.
We just want to get down to the basic ingredients.
We want it to be organic, non-GMO.
We want it to be the pure gospel.
Do we do it every day?
I don't know, I mean, I'm learning as I go. I'm picking stuff out of my brain every day.
I say, hey, what I'm studying today does not line up with what I was taught.
Yes.
Okay. So that honestly is my, that is my heart's desire.
I don't know what it is for talk, for doc to,
we talk about this.
We're both committed to discovering the original gospel
and to strip away every manmade doctrine
so that we are teaching the true word.
And when it's the true word, it becomes Catholic
and it goes everywhere.
And we ought to be able to teach this in Japan
and Russia and Korea and Peru, it ought to go everywhere.
It ought to work everywhere.
It's the gospel.
There's not an American gospel, and there's not a Chinese gospel. There is one gospel. It's universal. In that sense, it's universal.
It is everywhere for the whole world.
So that's the reason we get up every morning to do this Bible study, and
That's the reason we get up every morning to do this Bible study. And I'm doing it with all my heart.
I've got to stand in front of God someday and give an account for what I taught you.
That bothers me more than any, I'll tell you what doc, that keeps me walking straight.
Me too. It's like carrying hot coals in your hand. As long as you're focused
on the Lord and everything, those hot coals don't burn. But you take your eyes off the Lord, man.
Suddenly those coals burn right through you. So that's right. Yeah, this is a precious thing
that we carry here with the Word of God.
And so it's something that we have to be very mindful of, that we take very great care in teaching it,
teaching it with love and compassion, but also teaching it with the idea of the small c catholic idea that it's the same doctrine
in all places at all times.
We are not winning converts for denomination because we don't belong to denomination.
We're not winning voters to a party because that isn't our objective.
Our honest, sincere, true objective, and God sees our hearts, is to teach His Word as pure
as we can teach it.
It's interesting, Rick, that before we started today's morning manna, we have a few minutes
beforehand for those that join us live
where I'll answer some questions and stuff
that people may have.
Somebody asked before we started today,
is there a denomination that I would recommend?
And I explained, I was a symbols of God minister
for 25 plus years and everything,
and everything would I recommend the assemblies of God minister for 25 plus years and everything, and everything, would I recommend the Assemblies of God?
At this point in time, no, I wouldn't recommend it.
In fact, in my opinion,
there's not a single denomination right now
that really you could say is that brand
that really puts out,
because they cross-pollinate so much now.
If you get a church of 200 to 500,
it doesn't matter whether there's Baptist, AG,
charismatic, Presbyterian.
It's going to have the same style of worship
and the same TED Talk sermon on Sunday morning
that everybody else had. You could just change the label on a lot of modern
churches and it won't make a difference at all. So, denominationism has really gone by the wayside
in a lot of ways. They've become more companies. You can get a hamburger at McDonald's, you can get a hamburger at Burger King, right?
There's no loyalty to brands in the burger business. There's no real loyalty to brands
within the Christian world nowadays either. So you have to be discerning with individual
churches. That's the key nowadays.
So I'm not against-
You can ask and preach from the Word of God. That's the first thing.
I'm not against denominations and I wouldn't object to anybody in our class attending a
church that's denominational or non-denominational, here is my position. We are trying to teach you as pure as possible
the word of God,
so that when you attend a denominational church,
you can spot the spin, the denominational spin.
You go, ooh.
Spot the spin, I like that.
Oh my, that was, that what just came out of his mouth.
That's, that came from the denominational headquarters.
That came from the seminary.
You have to believe it that way.
See, it's okay to continue going to church there
as long as you can recognize, okay,
there are certain issues, you know, like the
rapture, right? The pre-trib rapture. There are a lot of great, wonderful
churches. People ask me, well, should I go to a church that they teach the
rapture? Well, what else about that church do you like? Well, they've got a
fantastic children's program. My kids love it there. Well, they go. All right, then go. But teach your children about the
rapture. Teach them the truth. Right? But if the children are meeting other Christian children and
teens, go. It's okay. But you recognize they have this one doctrine that is not biblical. That doesn't make them evil, it doesn't make them bad. It just says that's the flavor they want to promote.
But I think the real,
the big move of the Holy Spirit in the last days
will be home churches. Amen.
I really do.
I believe God's people are going to come out of the denominations.
Full circle.
Going right back to the homes where it started.
That's what I think.
So, we're over time.
I got to go.
I got an interview coming up here, Doc.
I got to go.
That's right.
All right.
Hey, everyone. God bless you.
We love you. This is going to be a great week for us in teaching. We encourage you to join us again
tomorrow 8 a.m. on the East Coast here for morning manna on faith and values.com. God bless you. We
