Let's start with a report from the Calgary Herald newspaper in Calgary, Canada. Calgary Public Library postponed drag story time after protesters shout at parents and

kids. At least someone is shouting, Rick. Praise God for brave people there. But the newspaper is when you read the story, Doc, the Calgary Herald newspaper is on the side of the drag queens. Yes, they are, Rick, as most media outlets are. Doc, we're talking about Calgary, Canada, cowboy town.

Right. This is a rodeo town. Calgary, the rodeo capital of Canada, and it's pro-drag queen. Well, that's the nature of the day. Well, where are the cowboys in Calgary? Where are they? Where are the real men in Calgary? They're letting this go on?

I'm worked up about this. I've seen this stuff today, and it infuriates me. And what was done to this pastor is outrageous. And more outrageous was the silence of Calgary's churches. Yes, that's the real tragedy of this. Well, the Calgary Public Library is postponing a drag story time event, which proves that you can do it. At one of its southwest libraries after an incident at last weekend's event at Seton Library saw what they are describing here as an aggressive protest.

The decision to delay Saturday's reading royalty event at Southwood Library comes as Calgary police have charged a local pastor with a hate-motivated crime in relation to the incident in Seton. Now, Calgary Public Library said it remains committed to its partnership with Calgary Pride and plans to reschedule the event once it can provide a safe and fun environment for kids and families that wish to attend. Why is a public library in partnership with drag queens? Why? What is the educational value? Public Library in partnership with drag queens. Why?

What is the educational value? In my opinion, none. There is none. And this is a concerted effort to do this. This is not some casual thing. Well, wouldn't it be great to have drag queens read to kids? No, this is a coordinated event that is going on internationally. And so now the library said

the right to protest is fundamental to our democracy. But what happened last weekend inside Seton Library was not a protest. It was an organized, targeted, and intimidating disruption of a program in a space where small children were present. So the crime in the eyes of the library in this newspaper is the protesters. The protesters were frightening the children who came to watch perverts dance.

Yes. And the bad people in this story are the Christians that protested what was being held inside that library. So this is how it went down. According to Calgary police, officers attended the Seton Library about 11.15 on February 25th

to check on a planned demonstration against the library's Reading with Royal royalty drag story time event. So they had the officers on call ready to go there, Rick. The officers were called to the library classroom for reports that several people had aggressively entered the space and were shouting homophobic and transphobic slurs at the children and parents. Would that be they were quoting biblical scriptures? It could be. That would be a homophobic and transphobic slur in their mind. It would be.

They were scaring the children while causing a disturbance and subsequently refusing to leave, said police. Now, two of those in attendance helped library staff remove the individuals from the classroom while they waited for police to arrive. Two who, Doc? These aren't police officers. No, they were people just in the library. Actually tried to remove these protesters from the classroom before the police got there.

And we're going to show you in a moment the removal of this pastor. Right. So the protesters were removed from the library by police while other officers remained to monitor public safety and gather additional evidence. So we have a video here of Pastor Derek Reimer. And it's Derek Scott Reimer. And this is, watch this video. This is how they manhandled this pastor who's speaking up against basically perverts dancing in front of little baby kids. Watch this. Let's watch that again. So here they are pulling Pastor Reimer out and basically pushing him out of the room where the event was taking place. Now, Doc, is that a physical assault? Yes, it is. Even if a police officer had done that, that would have been a physical assault. These are just two people in attendance at the library. They physically assaulted the pastor, but they did not get arrested. No.

He was arrested. He was arrested. So where are we at in America? And this is Canada and Great Britain. The West. The wicked West. It's the wicked West. The wicked, wicked West, yes.

and are actually interrelated. Right. But in this case, one brave pastor dared to go to the public library and say, what you're doing to these children is sin in the eyes of almighty God. And he called it perversion. He called it perversion. And yet he was arrested. He was charged with hate crimes. He was threatened with six months in prison, $10,000 fine. And the people who physically manhandled him and slammed him to

the floor were not arrested, but were considered heroes. We've got more to that story. Right. So following an investigation, Calgary police have charged Derek Scott Reimer of Calgary in relation to what they're labeling a hate-motivated crime for the incident at Seton Library. He's facing one count of causing a disturbance and one count of mischief. The city of Calgary announced Friday that city peace officers have also charged Reimer with six counts of harassment under the public behavior bylaw. Now, the charges were issued on a long-form form summons and each offense carries a penalty up to $10,000 and in default payment up to six months in prison, the city said in a news release.

Now, so really six months times six. Right. So 36 months in prison. Three years in prison. So city council, the Calgary city council passed amendments to the bylaw last spring to prohibit insulting behavior toward anyone due to age, race, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity, or gender expression. So if you're a sexual pervert, you are allowed to defile the minds of little, tender, innocent children. But if I say you're perverted and your behavior is perverted, I'm a criminal and I'm going to go to prison. You got it. Yes. So they would say that free speech applies to the man dressed up as a woman, the pervert, but not to the one speaking out against it. Yes. So free speech really isn't free. Now we do have an update to this story also from the Calgary Herald. A Calgary pastor was released after agreeing to stay away from LGBTQ plus events. Jail Calgary pastor Derek Scott Reimer has decided that avoiding members of

the LGBTQ plus community is better than being behind bars. Court records show Reimer signed his release documents late Monday after his lawyer earlier told the court he was trying to work with the Crown to relax his bail conditions. But Crown Prosecutor Zalene Laku said the conditions remain in place and Reimer must have no contact with members of the LGBTQ plus community and must stay at least 200 meters away from events involving such individuals. The perversion of the justice system in Canada. He is ordered not to come near the perverts, but the judge did not order the perverts not to come near children. What a perverted society. This is Sodom and Gomorrah.

Human civilization has not had anything this perverted, this wicked, this twisted and sick and diminutive since Sodom and Gomorrah. And what baffles me, and because it's deception, that's why it baffles me and Christians aren't, have the Holy Spirit so can't be deceived, but the question that comes to my mind constantly is how is this celebrated? It's celebrated. I mean, it's celebrated something wonderful, something glorious that we should be doing.

Defiling children. Yeah. How did we come to that place? Because these people have become reprobates. God has turned America over to a reprobate mind. He's turned Canada over to a reprobate mind. Mothers and fathers are holding their infants up and making their infants look at the genitals of these perverts. They're reprobates. They're beyond being saved at this point, Doc. And the next thing he'll send them is fire. You better be prepared for what's coming to the West. It's fire. Somehow, someway, God's sending fire to the West. He's going to burn this thing up. The so-called preachers won't preach. They won't stand against. That's one pastor, one 36-year-old man in Calgary, cowboy town. And he got manhandled and thrown in jail and nobody defended him.

Nobody. The pastors all zipped their lips and turned and looked the other way. What you need to do in Calgary, and this is not Calgary, but any city where this is happening, there needs to be about 10,000 men show up on the day of the drag queen event at the library or the school. Need to be about 10,000 real men show up and surround the library and just stay there and say, he's not getting in. The drag queens are not going in. We're not moving. And if you move it to another location, we'll move to another location. You need to shut it down. You're going to have to act like men and shut it down. There's no excuse for this kind of timidity.

I guess the question to ask, are there any cowboys in Calgary anymore? Are there any men in Calgary? Apparently not. Apparently not. But there's none in America either. Because this stuff's going on in every American city. Libraries, schools, churches. It's going on in churches, yes.

Or whatever he wants to be. There was a day, Doc, that people would cry and weep over this kind of behavior. They'd cry and weep if they saw a child behaving like that. And adults clapping. Yes.

Throwing money on stage. All right, so that one's they're throwing money. But we've got a video in here somewhere where the children are giving money to the dancers like a stripper. Right. Okay. With the mom's help.

What would have happened if your dad heard that there was a male stripper at your school that day? Listen, in Missouri, especially when I was growing up, every pickup truck had a gun rack. Enough said. You don't have to say anything else. They would have taken care of it. That's right. And so for this to go on, just watch this. This is very lewd behavior.

Again, a school assembly for high school students. This next one is just a photograph of a drag queen performing for babies. And those are moms. Moms. M those are moms. Moms. Moms just laughing. Presenting their babies to this pervert. Almost like an offering. Yeah, they're offering their child to Satan.

purposely for children. Watch this. took them to a known gay nightclub, and said, sit down here, kids. You're going to watch a show, and you're going to celebrate. And here's some money, Jessica. To pay the strippers. To pay the male strippers. Why wasn't the liquor license of that facility revoked?

Let me ask you, Doc. Fortunately, here in Vero Beach, in this area, we don't have strip clubs. I guess you'd have to go to Orlando or West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale. But let's just say you loaded up a church school bus full of children and drove them to a strip club. Right.

And brought them into the strip club. And gave them some money and said, enjoy, kids. What would happen to you? Oh, my goodness. They couldn't throw me in jail fast enough. But you can do it for a gay nightclub. And social services would be at your door to confiscate your children. That's right.

But not if you take them to a homosexual club. Because, see, the ruling class of America and Canada and Great Britain and Europe, they will fight you for the right to kill your babies. They will fight you for the right to defile your children's minds. And they will fight you over their right to fight wars and to kill people. That's what they want. It's abortion, homosexuality, war. They're perverted.

When we first did this story a while back, I believe first of last month, it just amazed me how powerful prayer is. That even, and I've never been a proponent of silent prayer. But even silent prayer is now illegal. Makes the demons scream. Because here's why. They knew that that woman was a Christian. She represented Jesus Christ. They knew she was praying in her mind, in her soul. She was silently praying to Jesus Christ to save the babies that they were murdering. And that was offensive to them. It's an offense, he said.

Silent prayer is an offense. You're under arrest. Why are they offended? She's praying to Jesus Christ. She's praying to stop the murder of babies. That's now offensive to the country of England. Right. Who is now being sued. So now a court has ordered JPMorgan Chase to turn over records that belong to Jamie Dimon. This brings in the highest man in the bank. The top man at JPMorgan Chase. a really big revelation about JPMorgan Chase's involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. And to ask for the financial records of Jamie Dimon, this is a big deal here, folks. A U.S. judge on Thursday ordered JPMorgan Chase to hand over more documents concerning Chief Executive Jamie Dimon to the U.S. Virgin Islands for the territory's lawsuit accusing the bank of aiding in Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking. So Ellis acknowledged making 10 misrepresentations on television and Twitter during Trump's fight to stay in power after losing the 2020 election to President Joe Biden. And that's according to the censure from the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel in Colorado, where Ellis is from. Now, the statements include claiming on Janine Pirro's Fox News show, December 5th, 2020, that we have over 500,000 votes in Arizona that were cast illegally and telling the conservative network Newsmax on December 15th that Trump was the true and proper victor. And it goes on to say on November 20th, 2020, Ellis appeared on Newsmax show of former Trump spokesman Sean Spicer

and said with all those states, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, combined, we know that the election was stolen for President Trump, and we can prove that. And for that, she almost lost the right to practice law in Colorado. She got very close to it. They're going to teach her a lesson. They're going to teach every lawyer. Doc, in future elections, no Republican who questions the integrity of an election will be able to get a lawyer to represent him or her. No lawyer will represent you because you will lose your law license.

The National Archives disclosed in a response letter to Senators Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley, obtained by Fox News Digital, that nine boxes of documents from President Biden's attorney, Patrick Moore's Boston office, had been taken but were yet to be reviewed. Now listen to the timeline on this. It had been reported that Moore had moved the boxes from the Penn-Biden

Center before learning of the initial trove of classified documents in the D.C.-based think tank, if you believe that. According to the letter, NARA, the National Archives learned of this on November 3rd, 2022, and informed the Department of Justice's Office of Inspector General the following day. Now, the documents were collected on November 9th, a week later, Rick, and secured in the JFK Presidential Library in Boston, National Archives staff had retrieved a total of nine boxes from Moore's Boston office, a fact which had not previously been known publicly. In fact, he said in his deposition that we hadn't seen anything, no intrusions, no hack, yet he repeatedly told him something was coming. Yol Roth, head of trust and safety at Twitter, testified that he had had regular meetings with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, and other folks regarding election security. During these weekly meetings, federal law enforcement agencies communicated that they expected a hack-and-leak operation. The expectations of a hack-and- and leak operation were discussed throughout 2020, and he was told they would occur in a period shortly before the 2020 presidential election,

likely in October. And finally, he said, I also learned in these meetings that there were rumors that a hack and leak operation would involve Hunter Biden. So what did the government tell him? A hack and leak operation was coming. How often did the government tell him? A hack and leak operation was coming. How often did the government tell him this? Repeatedly for a year. When did the government say it was going to happen? October of 2020. And who did the government say it would involve? Hunter Biden. Now think about it. Government had no evidence of any intrusions, no evidence of a hack and leak, yet for a year, they tell Twitter that a hack and leak is coming. It's coming in October, and it will involve Hunter Biden. No evidence, but the FBI knows what's going to happen, when it's going to happen, and who it's going to involve. Now, that's amazing. That is amazing to me. Maybe, I mean,

maybe they get the time right. We're kind of used to October surprises every four years. So maybe they get the time right, but they got the time, they got the method, and they got the person. That's amazing. It's almost like these guys were clairvoyant. How did they know? How did they know? Maybe it's because they had the laptop and they had had it for a year. They had the laptop. They knew it wasn't hacked, but that's not what they told Twitter. They didn't tell Twitter that information. And Twitter believed, frankly, everything they said. In those weekly meetings, the FBI had built a cozy relationship with this tech company and others as well, we believe. Emails between the FBI and Twitter began with the greeting, hey Twitter folks. Emails that asked Twitter to take down

accounts and limit visibility of tweets. The FBI handed out security clearance to folks at Twitter. They communicated with Twitter on this secret teleporter app where messages disappear after a certain length of time. And of course, they paid Twitter $3.4 million. In addition, on August 6, 2020, the FBI briefed Senators Grassley and Johnson. And according to the Senator's testimony, last month in front of this committee, the briefing was bogus and done so someone could go leak that the briefing had happened and undermine the senator's investigation. In September of 2020, a government-funded think tank gets involved. They do a tabletop exercise. The participants include the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other mainstream media outlets. Facebook is there. Mr. Roth of Twitter is there. The organizer was the former CEO of NPR and the former head of news at Twitter. The mock exercise is hosted by the Aspen Institute.

And he wipes them out. Wouldn't be the first empire he's wiped out. How many empires has God wiped out in thousands of years? Probably unnamed empires. We don't even know they existed. My name is Rick Wiles, and I'm glad you chose to start your day with Morning Manna.

Morning Manna is a weekday TV program to help you better understand the Word of God. Dr. Burkhardt and I don't claim to know everything about the Holy Bible. We are learning more every day along with you, and together we can grow closer to our Heavenly father. The closer I get to him, the more I love him. And I am not a big proponent of organized religion. I don't like churchianity. I believe we must keep it simple. We must love God with all our heart, mind, and soul, and love our neighbor too. We have a motto here, shine brightly, taste salty, and love everybody.

Well, we are in the second week of our study of the parables of Jesus. On yesterday's Morning Manna, we barely got started before we ran out of time to discuss the parable of the leaven. It's a very short parable, but it's also very deep and perplexing. It is very easy for me to teach all the other parables, but I got to be honest, this one is challenging, and I cannot say with confidence that I absolutely understand the full meaning of the parable of the leaven. I'm still seeking the Lord for a deeper understanding. Nevertheless, Dr. Raymond Burkhardt and I are going to discuss it, and I will attempt to the best of my limited knowledge to discern it. Doc will begin today's Bible lesson by reading from the 13th chapter of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to St. Matthew, verse 33.

And if you've got your Bibles, please open up with me to Matthew 13, verse 33. Just one verse. Another parable spake he unto them the kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till the whole was leaven that's it that's the parable of the leaven there rick and that's the one that stumps me just one verse one verse i mean you would think that the shortest parable would be the easiest one to understand. And what I find, Doc, in studying the Word of God is that sometimes it's easier to know what's not right than to know what is right. It's true. There are just certain things that I know that the standard interpretation isn't right,

but I'm not quite sure what is right. But just in my heart, in my spirit, I know that what most people are teaching isn't right. And that's the way it is with this parable. I know what the standard interpretation is. I mean, that would be the easiest thing to do is just go along with it. Go with the flow and just say, hey, here's what it means.

But in my spirit, I don't believe it's right. But I can't say I absolutely know what is right about this parable. And when you compare this particular parable

to the other parables, even within the context of Matthew 13, you have to ask yourself, the standard interpretation puts it out of place. And then compare some of the objects in the lesson to other scriptures, then you're left with a question,

well, these mean one thing over here, but it means something else here. Now, the standard interpretation goes something like this. It says the kingdom of God may have small beginnings, but it will increase. Yeast is microscopic in size and only a little is needed into the dough. Yet given time, the yeast will spread through all the dough. In the same way, Jesus' domain started with 12 men in an obscure corner of Galilee, but it spread through

the whole world. The gospel makes progress. So the kingdom of God also exerts its influence from within, not from without. Yeast makes dough rise from within. God first changes the heart of a person, that internal change as external manifestations the gospel influence and a culture works the same way christians within a culture act as agents of change slowly transforming that culture from within so basically it's saying that in this particular parable most in the standard interpretation that the yeast is a positive influence on the meal, the dough. Right, and so the Christianity, it started small, but look, it's spread throughout the whole world.

It's permeated everything now. You know, as a Christian, that sounds wonderful. I want to believe that. That gives you nice, warm fuzzies, you know. Hey, it's all going to be wonderful. And I used to believe that because that's what I was taught. Right. Until I started reading books written by G. Campbell Morgan.

And he got inside my brain and just turned every, well, I'm not going to say he turned things upside down. He turned things right side up. And G. Campbell Morgan has had a profound influence on my life. Also, you know, Spurgeon and McLaurin, Alexander McLaurin. Those are the three that have influenced me more than any other preachers. And I read their sermons. I read their books. And G. Campbell

Morgan is the one who taught me that you have to, in interpreting the parables, you can't interchange and mix up the meanings of the elements of the parables. That's why the sower is always Jesus. We go down the list. The field is always the world. The world always belongs to Jesus. And so they remain the same. So I got that part. And so I was learning a lot,

just studying G. Campbell Morgan's sermons. And then one night I came to church and you were preaching and you were preaching on the parable of the mustard seed. Right. And you gave the same interpretation that G. Campbell Morgan had given. And I sat there in our church, and I'm the pastor, and I'm sitting there and I'm saying,

Doc, I don't like this sermon. I'm saying it to myself. I don't like this sermon, but in my spirit, I know you're right. My head says, no, don't go down this road, but my spirit says, Rick, just sit there and be quiet. What he's saying is right. And I knew that the Lord was imparting to you the same revelation he was giving to me through my study of G. Campbell Morgan's writings. Right. And I didn't know that.

And you didn't know it. And that's what bothered me even more. You didn't know it. Where I had come from on the message was, we were talking at that time about the parables and about being consistent in interpreting the parables. And so that following Sunday, I just took it to the mustard seed. I said, all right, if we're going to follow this pattern, then the birds in the parables of the tares are Satan.

Therefore, the birds in the parable of the mustard seed are Satan. Therefore, the birds in the parable of the mustard seed are Satan as well. That's right. They're not angelic birds. Right. And that completely changed the meaning of the parable of the mustard seed. So now here we get to this little parable.

One line. Happy little parable for most churches and everything, except one thing that had always bothered me in my ministry years, before we even started talking about parables here a couple years ago, was the idea of the yeast. Because in every other scripture passage, just about yeast is portrayed as something negative. One example, Matthew 16, 6, it says, Jesus said to them, take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and

Sadducees. And in that interpretation that it was the hypocrisy of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Another example, Mark 8, 15, he warned them saying, take heed, beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Another example, Mark 8, 15. He warned them, saying, Take heed, beware the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod. And so, once again, Jesus himself is portraying yeast as a negative element. And what was the yeast of Herod?

I would say corruption. Maybe corruption or maybe the mixture of politics and religion. Yes, yes. Corrupt politics and religion. So for the Pharisees, it was hypocrisy. Right. For Herod, it was political corruption mixed in with the Jewish religion. Right. But Jesus said, avoid it. Stay away from it. Now, we're not saying that, hey, look, if you got yeast in your pantry and you're supposed to go get the yeast and throw it in a trash can, that's not what we're saying. But that's something to think

about though. To this day, Jewish families celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread. It usually coincides around Passover time and everything. Some people think they're synonymous with Passover, but actually Feast of Unleavened Bread is different than Passover. But Jewish households are commanded in Scripture to completely clean their homes. That's true. I mean, from top to bottom. For what reason? To get rid of any yeast that might be found in the house.

I mean, they get down and they scrub in the corners. They're moving cabinets out. If they've got any leavened products at all in their home, they toss it out, bag it up, take it to the dump. They get all leaven out of their house. Why? Because just one speck of leaven can get into the dough and cause it to rise. It can multiply. That's how effective yeast is. So for Jewish families, if you ask most Jewish families or even some of our Hebrew roots friends,

what does leaven represent in the Bible? They will clearly tell you it represents sin. Contamination. Right. And yet the common evangelical interpretation of this particular parable is that it's a positive thing. I say that when Jesus was speaking this to his audience, they understood leaven to be something negative. So sin, corruption. They knew it. His audience knew what yeast was. So if you want to follow the standard popular interpretation that's taught in churches today,

then you have to tell your mind, every time you use this mention in the Bible, it's negative until you get to Matthew 13, 33. Right. And then it switches over to positive. Right. And then afterwards, and the rest of the New Testament, it goes back to being negative. So we can show you some more examples. Luke 12, verse one. So in the meantime, when they were gathered together in a numeral multitude of people, insomuch as they trod one upon another, he began to say to his disciples, first of all, beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. And then Galatians 5.

Right. And this is Paul speaking to the church in Galatia. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of the righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by love. Now, here's where he makes the comparison to the leaven. Ye did run well. Who did hinder you that you should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Okay, so just keep that right there on the screen. The little leaven that enters into the lump, into the entire loaf, into the lump, it's referring to the untruth. It's referring to the references to- You didn't obey the truth. You didn't obey the truth. You were taught the truth, but you didn't obey it. And that's the leaven.

Right. And a little bit of disobedience will cause a whole bunch of disobedience. Because it will spread. That's right. It's going to spread. So, once again, all through the Bible, loving is negative. It's a thing to avoid.

Then we get to Matthew 13, 33, and the theologians tell us, but in this case, leaven's good. And then it switches back in the rest of the Bible to being negative. So that doesn't work. No. It doesn't work. You have to remain consistent in the discernment of the parables. So let's go back and put the parable on the screen again. This is Matthew 13, 33.

And another parable, A woman took and hid in three measures of meal till the whole was leavened. So, Doc, there's at least four components of this parable. You have, first of all, leaven. You have leaven. And then there's a woman. There's a woman and then three measures of meal and then the whole there's the four components

and then I see in there two action verbs took and hid so let's put that back up on the screen again here for our audience the kingdom of heaven is like unto the leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till the whole was leavened. Now, yesterday- This woman took something and she hid something.

And that word took is not, well, I just grabbed it off the shelf and put it in gradually. No, that word took, I found out today, means to grab by force. She seized it. She seized it. And then after she seized it, she hid it. So you have two verbs here. One, she's taking something by force, and then she's surreptitiously hiding it. Which implies, if you hide something, it implies deception. Right.

It implies that you don't want this to be seen. Now, the word for hid, the Greek word, is where we get our word encrypt. No kidding. I didn't realize that. Crypto. It is that word crypto. She encrypted. She took something and she encrypted it

now that's it's fascinating doesn't that now that even adds more context so there's some mystery to this so this is not to me the woman is not is not representing goodness I don't think so either. Okay, so let me ask you, Doc. In Genesis, the woman represents the church. Right. In Revelation, she represents a harlot.

Right. Something happened from Genesis to Revelation. The church became a harlot. Right. So Genesis to Revelation. The church became a harlot. So what do we have? Corruption, contamination, something's been hidden into the church, false doctrines, disobedience, rebellion, lies, deception, tears. Isn't this the message of all these parables?

It is, and that's why I think it's consistent. You know, looking at it this way, looking at leaven as a negative component or a sin or disobedience, hypocrisy, whatever it is, it's not pleasing to the Lord. It's not, and it's something that is hidden within the meal itself. Okay, I'm going to ask you this.

This is where I get stumped, Doc, on the meal. Right. Three measures. And this is the one that really stumps me because I keep digging in. I know that there's something there and I'm praying and I'm seeking and I'm asking the Lord for revelation about it. So the first thing, let's take a look at Genesis 18. Genesis 18 verses 1 through 6. So this may be a story that you've heard before, but you may not have noticed this one particular element.

The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great oak trees of Mamre while he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day. Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked and saw three men standing across from him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself toward the ground. He said, My Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant. He goes on to say, please let a little water be brought, wash your feet and rest yourselves under the tree. I'll bring a piece of bread so you may refresh yourselves.

After that, you may pass on now that you've come to your servant. And they said, so do as you have said. So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, quickly prepare three measures of fine flour, knead it and make cakes. So this is the first reference that we see of three portions of meal appearing in the scriptures.

And actually it appears numerous times in scripture. Have you ever heard the word e ephah it's a measurement right measurements i think if if i would say it's like is it like a one and a half bushels right but it is also three measures of flat a meal that's the measure that's what an ephah is and so uh when we... But that's a lot. Yes, it's like 60 pounds of meal. I mean, it's a big batch. Okay, so this woman, Doc, she's not making a loaf of bread. Right, she's making...

She's got a bakery. Yeah, she's got a big... This is a big meal that's being prepared. But there's a clue to me. Right. Because it's unusual. It is. It's unusual.. But there's a clue to me. Right. Because it's unusual. It is. It's unusual.

And I would think that when the Jews heard Jesus give this parable, they had to be thinking, that woman was making a lot of bread. What does this mean? Well, she may have been making it for the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Possible. But she was not making it just for herself. Right. And so this three meals of flour appear several times,

as the word ephah appears with Gideon. He offered three measures, an ephah of flour. Hannah in the scripture, when she brought an offering to Samuel, she also had an ephah. So it appears over and over again. But it also appears in the law as well. Like Leviticus.

Right. So one example, this is Leviticus 23, verses 17 and 20. You shall bring out your habitations, two wave loaves of two-tenths part of an ephah, and they shall be a fine flour, and they shall be bacon with leaven, for firstfruits unto Jehovah. And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits, for a wave often before Jehovah with the two lambs.

They shall be holy to Jehovah for the priest. So that gives you an example there of where this picks up as well. Now, it's interesting that there were two different offerings of meal to the Lord. One was to the priest that we just talked about. But there was another offering. So let me, I don't mean to interrupt you, but I want to follow along right. So the burnt offering was offered to God. The meal offering was offered to the priest.

So the meal offering could not have any leaven in it, right? It had to be unleavened. The one that was offered to the Lord as a burnt offering. But the meal offering could have leaven. Is that correct? That the priest could consume. They were allowed to consume leavened bread. Okay. So the offering, the Hebrews, the Jews gave to God was unleavened, the burnt offering. Right. But the offering that they gave to the priest was leavened. Right. Why? I'm just asking why. I know first of all,

the offering to the Lord could not have any blemish in it. And leaven was considered a blemish. But why did God allow it to be in the offering to the priest? Maybe it was as a picture of, you know, of the man of God operating the world that no matter how clean you get your house, there's going to be some specks of yeast there. That's where I'm going with this. And so that gives a warning to me in my own personal life, let's say, that I need to be

constantly aware of yeast. So God was, I don't mean yeast at my house. I mean the yeast of sin in my life. So in the offerings, God was making allowance. And this was for the priest. Right. This is for the guy that's supposed to have it all together. Right.

He's the priest. He's bringing offerings to God. So God made allowance for the priest to be human. Yes. Which shows God's grace. It shows his tender hearted love for men and women saying, I know you're not perfect. I know you're not perfect.

But because you love me, I'll accept the offerings. I know, but you can't bring me anything that has yeast in it. That's right. But I will allow the offering that the people bring to you to be contaminated with yeast because you're human.

You're in an earthly vessel. You're mud pies with eyes. That's right. You're not pure. You're not godlike. You're just humans. Now, there's another verse in Leviticus 2 as well. And let's put that on the screen.

Leviticus 14.10. And on the eighth day, he shall take two he-lams without blemish and one you-lamb of the first year without blemish and three tenth deals. There's three weights of meal, Rick, of fine flour for a meat offering mingled with oil and one log of oil. Now, Rick, you ask most theologians, what does this particular offering represent? And they'll say this is a type of Christ. That the ewe lamb in this particular verse represents Jesus Christ.

I found that interesting that Jesus Christ is typed here with the three measures a meal. And Jesus himself called himself the bread of life as well. In John chapter six, verse 32, he says, and Jesus said to them, verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven, but my father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven and giveth life unto the world.

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said, I am the bread of life. I'm still fleshing this out as well, Rick. Is Jesus the three measures of flour? Is he represented there? Or is his body, the church, represented as the three meals of flour? That's the dough. And that as the dough continues to rise,

if we're to compare it with the mustard seed parable, the more it grows, the more the yeast will expand as we get closer to the judgment day. And there's contamination in the body of Christ in the church. We only got like two and a half minutes. Apostle Paul mentions leaven

to the church of Corinth. He was dealing with sexual sin in the church. Right, and he said, this is in 1 Corinthians 5, he said, it is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication is not so much as named among the Gentiles,

that one should have his father's wife. And now listen to what he says to the church at Corinth here, Rick. He says, You are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I verily, as absent in body, but present present in spirit have judged already as though I were present concerning him that has so done this deed. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ when you are gathered together in my spirit with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh

that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. See, he's saying that again. Purge out therefore the old leaven that ye may be a new lump as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast,

not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. So once again, I'm convinced that the leaven represented in the parable of the leaven is sin, corruption, disobedience, lack of... False doctrines, heresies hypocrisy yes that's continually seeping into the holy church of god and and jesus was telling us in the parables don't be alarmed by this don't be outraged and don't try to pull up the tears i'm giving you a heads up i'm telling you in advance this is how my kingdom is going to be until i come back. But you guys just keep loving everybody.

Just shine brightly, taste salty, love everybody, preach the gospel, go into all the world and preach the gospel, make disciples of men and women, baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, cast out devils, raise the dead. Just do what I'm telling you to do and I'll take care of the leaven. That's what I think the Lord wants us to know in this. We're out of time. God bless you.
