So Planetary Defense Team has been formed to prepare for the arrival of an asteroid in late December 2032. This is true news for Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Let's begin our analysis and commentary with this LiveScience.com article. The website reported NASA scientists, as you see the headline, City Killer Asteroid has a 1 in 43 chance of smashing into Earth in 2032. It said that NASA scientists are warning that this asteroid could, if it strikes, and what they did today is that they increased the likelihood that it would strike the planet.

Now, it's still very low. Right. But they doubled. Doc, it doubled. I'm talking about the likelihood, the chance of it, of hitting. It doubled from what the previous estimate was. It's still very low. But it's now a 1 in 43 chance of hitting Earth in late December 2032.

And while it's unlikely that it could take out humanity, it could take out a city. That's the headline there. The asteroid dubbed 2024 YR4 was detected by NASA's asteroid terrestrial impact last alert system back in December, just a few weeks ago. According to the latest NASA estimates, it has about a 143 chance of impacting our planet in that year of 2032. And I just wrote a book and it's it's on its way to in a few days we'll have it ready to go to a printer the book is mega war 2032 and i have a chapter in it about an asteroid no No kidding. I'm not kidding you, Doc. Wow. Timely. There's a chapter about the possibility and there are actually two asteroids coming in. Right. There's Apophis in 2029 and then there's

what they're calling the Christmas asteroid. Right. YR4. In 2032. And I put it in the book because uh there were several uh prophecies from various people including oral roberts and now he never said it was an asteroid but when you listen to and i i saw the i saw the tv show let's. I'm trying to remember what it's been 20 years ago. I saw the TV show the day after he had the vision. I saw it. And he described

what he saw in that vision. And I immediately thought he saw an asteroid coming across the country. So anyhow, we'll share that in the future when the book is ready. I played that recording many times. In fact, Doc, sometime around 2005 or 2006 or 2007, I had an entire True News Asteroid Week. It's been a whole week, five days,

talking about an asteroid hitting Earth. And people at that time, True News followers, were having visions and dreams of asteroids. That was around 2007. Maybe six or seven in that time. The reason I remember is that we were living in Chattanooga, Tennessee at the time. Okay.

And I remember a teacher in a local school contacted me. She was a fan of True News. And the first day, you know, it was like Monday, the beginning of the week, you know, I did my first program on an asteroid. And she contacted me, and she said, this is so strange because today in my classroom, I want to say the boy was like 12 years old and he he brought a a drawing to her and said i i drew this for you and it was an asteroid hitting the earth but it really obviously weirded her out because a 12 year old kid yes but it happened the same day so during the afternoon in school

this boy gives her this drawing and said i drew this for you it's an asteroid hitting the earth that night she went home and listened to true news and i'm talking about asteroid wow i i've I've never forgotten that episode. And I will tell you this. Sometime in the late 80s, I don't remember the exact year, 87, 88, you know, somewhere in that area. But I do know where I was at. I was walking. I think I was walking from my kitchen to the dining room and I had a vision

and Doc all of a sudden I felt like I was zoomed out into space I just it was like an out of body experience I just like went out into space. It was like an out-of-body experience. I just went out into outer space. And it was total silence. But I can see coming towards me a burning rock.

Now, that doesn't make sense because you can't have fire in outer space. Right. Because there's no oxygen. But this rock was on fire. And I heard a voice, and I knew it was the Lord's voice. And the voice said, I have hurled a fireball towards America. And I knew, Doc, that rock, that rock's been thrown by God like throwing a baseball. He threw it maybe, who knows, how many thousands of years ago.

He threw that rock. And he designated the day, the hour, the second. Now, he didn't say, I have hurled a rock to strike America. He said, I have hurled a rock towards America. Interesting. I knew that day in late 80s, there's an asteroid coming. I don't know when, but there's an asteroid coming. I don't know when, but there's an asteroid coming. Then you fast forward to sometime in the early 2000s and Oral Roberts, who was

at that time in his late 80s, early 90s, he had this vision. And oddly, a coincidence, he was walking to his kitchen when he had the vision. And he saw, he described it as fire and vapor and smoke. Right out of the book of Joel. And he heard a noise, a rumbling. He felt something.

He said, all of America saw it. He said all of America saw it. He said the whole country saw it. Is it this one? I don't know. I just wrote a book called Mega War 2032. God's trying to get our attention, folks. Trying to get the people's attention. We may just have a fireball come across the country.

Well, let's see. The Chinese are getting ready for it. Yes, they are. I have never heard of a planetary defense committee. But that's exactly what the South China Morning Post is reporting today, that China is building a planetary defense team as concerns grow over a 2024 YR4 asteroid. So they've started assembling a planetary defense team to counter this threat of a near-Earth asteroid following the discovery of a large asteroid that could strike our planet in seven years. Now on Friday, the European Space Agency updated their probability of asteroid 2024 YR4 hitting the Earth in 2032 to 2.2 percent,

putting it at the top of the agency's risk list. Now this particular asteroid, estimated to be about 130 to 300 foot across, was discovered by the University of Hawaii's Institute of Astronomy late in December. So this is a recent discovery. The discovery activated global asteroid response mechanisms after its odds of an impact with Earth surpassed an international monitoring threshold. Now, weeks after the asteroid's discovery, a special project center at China's State Administration of Science, Technology, and Industry for the National Defense posted a recruitment notice listing three available roles for a planetary defense post. So, you can apply for the job. You probably won't get it because you're not Chinese,

but you can apply because they put it on their website. They're looking for people to join their planetary defense team. Now, Li Mingtao, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences National Space Center, told China Science Daily on Monday that China had made great progress in asteroid defense. He said, in the future, we must not only comprehensively strengthen equipment configuration and performance, but also cultivate a team of talent dedicated to asteroid defense and contribute Chinese wisdom and Chinese strength to protecting the safety of the Earth, Lee said. Now, Rick, I got a question for you.

What would qualify you for the asteroid team? You can't have previous experience in asteroids. Or defending the planet. Right. That's a good point. So I wonder what qualifications they're looking for in that particular role there. You have a cape? Yeah, because you'd need Superman just about in this. Now, according to the online profile, Mr. Li works on designing innovative asteroid defense plans.

The site said he aimed to propose a Chinese plan for near-Earth asteroid early warning and defense. And just as recently as September, China had launched a conceptual plan for its first mission to defend itself against asteroids. The mission aims to observe an asteroid, then hit it with a spacecraft to alter its path around 2023, according to state media. Sounds like a couple of Hollywood movies there. Now, he's quoted as saying here, by the end of the observation in April, we will have more data, and when the new observation window arrives in 2028, we'll be able to judge the probability of it hitting the Earth more clearly, Lee said. At that time, the UN will organize another discussion to decide whether to design a defense plan. Now, I have a chart here that shows you the approximate size of the asteroid, asteroid 2024 YR4, about 130 to 300 foot across.

To give you an idea of how big that is, about the size of the Taj Mahal. Okay. Now, below is a map. This is the projected trajectory as of now. Right. And it's showing it dipping south. So if you're in Ecuador, Central Africa.

Aruba, the islands off the coast of Ecuador, the Dutch islands. Right. The islands off the coast of Ecuador, the Dutch islands, Bonaire, Aruba, Curacao, all those islands. Then you have the ocean and then across Central Africa and then going across India. Now, that's the current trajectory. They will have more information, Doc, in the year 2028. And they feel certain that in 2028, they will know whether it's going to strike the planet and where. So, look, folks, I don't think this is a coincidence that the Lord inspired me to write a book called Mega War 2032. I don't think this is a coincidence, folks.

Jesus Christ is coming back. Yes. We're approaching the end of history. Yes. And it doesn't, I'm not saying he's coming back in 2032. I'm saying that I think we've entered a time of woes. All right?

The birth pangs. There are things, monumental, earth-shaking, earth-changing things will be happening before he comes back. He is a disruptor. By the way, I'm sending out, I don't know if it's gone out yet. I'm sending out, I just wrote this a couple of days ago, a newsletter. It's an email and a printed letter. And it's called Divine Disruptors. and I just if you had a video in the email and it said

the birth of Jesus Christ was a divine disrupting event and the second coming of Jesus Christ will be another divine disruption he's a disruptor what did he do when he was born as a baby there was a disruption yes in the cosmos yes What did he do? When he was born as a baby, there was a disruption.

Yes. In the cosmos. Yes. All right. There was a star that had never appeared before and moved. Right. It was angels appearing, shepherds. Right.

When he was crucified, oh, there were a lot of disruptions. Earthquakes. The sun going dark. All kinds of things went. People, dead people came out of the grave. That'll disrupt things. That's right. He's a disruptor.

And when he comes back, oh, that's the big one. Because the lights go out. The sun, the moon, the stars. The whole cosmos goes dark. Great earthquake, Jerusalem is divided into three parts. Powerful disruptions. But

Jesus calls us to be divine disruptors. We should be disrupting the political, social, religious order of today. If you look at what Donald Trump's doing, he's a disruptor. That's why his opponents don't know what to do.

They don't know how to handle it. He's a disruptor. And he's disrupting at a speed nobody's ever seen before. But we as Christians, we are called to be disruptors. We should be disrupting, not violently, but spiritually. We should be disrupting the world order with the proclamation of the gospel. The Old Testament prophet Haggai said that the desire of nations is coming.

Yes. And what would he do? Shake the nations. Shake the nations. The desire of nations, he was speaking of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Haggai wrote that centuries before Jesus was born. But he said when this Messiah comes, he's the desire of nations and he shall shake the nations. The gospel, the preaching, the desire of nations and he shall shake the nations the gospel the preaching the introduction of the gospel into the world disrupted the world order and so the preaching the gospel now wherever it is aggressively preached it disrupts the world order so anyhow the lord had me write this book mega war 2032 and the inspiration came to me

after the week in Myrtle Beach. I spent in prayer the very first day there. It was on a Sunday. He spent that entire day telling me, Rick, war is coming. And I was hoping I was going to hear a different message because that's the message I've heard for 25 years.

He said, war is coming you've got to tell the people by by the end of the week i had this knowing in my spirit that the war was sometime after the year 2030 looking you can't hold it down. Is it 2032, 2033, 2031? What does it matter? Yes. What does it matter? Okay. Are you going to sue me if it's not 2032? You said it was going to be 2032 and it turned out to be 2031 and we're going to sue you. Okay. I mean, seriously. I don't know. We would get emails about it. I guarantee you there would be people saying

i bought your book and you said i had until 2032 and the war came in 2031 okay or the opposite 2032 goes by and the war breaks out in 2033 you're a false prophet yes i'm not i'm not i'm not a false prophet because i'm not even a prophet i can't be a false prophet because i'm not a false prophet because I'm not even a prophet. I can't be a false prophet because I'm not a prophet. A prophet or a son of a prophet. That's right. You know what I do? Where do I get this stuff?

All right. I read this book. Amen. And I pray. And I hear the Lord's voice. And I read news. Put the three together. That's it.

I'm not a prophet. Those are the three things. The Word of God, prayer, also dreams and visions the Holy Spirit has given me. Well, I don't like that stuff, Rick. Well, too bad. God's been talking to his people in dreams and visions since man's been here it's stories like this that confirm the word of God that's right that's why we bring it to you every day

not just to give you the heebie-jeebies but to help you prepare that there is a reckoning coming to this world so I came back from Myrtle Beach in September 2024 with the conviction that we, you and me, we have maybe five at the least, perhaps seven, maybe eight, could even be 10 years. But I'm leaning towards the seven, that we have seven years to prepare, that that war is going to break out sometime around 2032, early 2033, that war between the United States and China. And that became clear today.

Oh, we're going to show you some things here in a moment. It's very obvious where this is going. But we've got to get prepared. And there are two types of preparation. There is spiritual preparation. You've got to get your soul ready. You've got to stockpile the Word of God. You've got to make sure you are in right standing with the Lord.

You've got time to witness to those whom you love, to lead them to Christ. That's the highest priority. The greatest thing that you can do is to get your family ready for the day of the Lord. Look, the day of the Lord, I'm not saying is in 2032. But I do believe that a great war is coming that's leading towards the day of the Lord. There are many things. Jesus said there will be wars and rumors of wars, pestilences, earthquakes in many places.

Really what he says is here, there, everywhere, there are going to be earthquakes, pestilences. There's going to be wars. This stuff is going to be breaking out where it's not supposed to be breaking out. We have about seven years to get ready. And every day you don't do something, you have wasted 24 hours. I am your spiritual no-dos. I'm here to irritate you and keep you awake. That's what I am.

I'm here to keep you awake because the world wants you to go to sleep. The other podcasters want you to go to sleep. They want you to focus on politics they want you to get worked up about elections and political parties and all right that's still putting you asleep yes if you are not focused on the fact that a great war is coming. And sometime after that great war, the Lord himself is coming. If you're not focused on those things,

you are spiritually asleep and you're wasting time. And this thing's going to hit you so hard. You've got time. You've got about seven years to get ready. And you need to use every single day to do what you can do to get ready. And you need to use every single day to do what you can do to get ready. God's going to speak to some of you about moving to different locations. You might have to get out of the location that you're in. You need to be praying about it. Where is the safe place to be?

Where should you be physically to be in the safest zone i asked ai the other day where would be the safest places in america to avoid nuclear radiation it's you know it's. The results you get back. So do your work. There are studies out there. Research. If you're living next to a military base, you're probably not in a safe zone.

Right. Because those are the places that are going to be taken out first. We got about seven years. You got seven years to get ready. If God's grace, if he's... I'm saying seven years because, Doc, I think that's like the max that we have right now. And I'm realizing, you know, it could be

two years earlier. Could be two years after that. We don't know. Don't play games with this. Right. Prepare. Prepare. We read in Acts 11 that God sent the prophet Agabus to the churches and told them, listen, there's a famine that's coming to Judeaa and that famine is going to impact everybody in those regions and you know what the churches did the churches said you know what we need to start preparing we need to start taking up collections we need to start getting

people ready for this because they trusted the voice of agamas, the prophet. The church leaders considered the word and decided this is a word from the Lord. And that famine didn't occur for another 10 years. That's right. They had time. But the famine did come. It was confirmed by Josephus, the historian, that a famine did come. And it was a devastating famine. But Josephus also says those that were prepared for the famine were able to basically survive and get through it.

What's the rider have in his hands? Scales. Okay. Scales represent balance. Yes. In this case, it means imbalance. And it also means the society will be out of balance. And it talks about the price of food.

Right. Because that's how they would price food is using a scale. Yes, because food was weighed. And a loaf of bread costs how much? A day's wages. A day's wages for a loaf of bread. You want to talk about food inflation? Imagine going to your local grocery store and whatever you make in a day, let's say you make $120 working, you know, on the construction site. Then you go to the grocery store and you pony up to the bread aisle and you take a loaf of Wonder Bread and you look at the price, $120. Okay.

That's a day's wages. Do you believe everything in this book? I know you know it, but do you believe it? Do you believe everything in this book. This book says that before Christ comes back, there will be extreme food price inflation. So high that you'll work all day to buy one loaf of bread. Do you believe it or not? It's a simple question. Do you believe it or not?

If you believe it or not if you believe it you'll stockpile food if you don't believe it you'll go hungry because great food inflation is coming food inflation beyond a level that we can comprehend. Massive food inflation. Yeah, if you think eggs are high. It's not a scarcity of food.

It's being sold at a price you can't afford. Right. And then the writer says don't touch the the oil right and the olive uh the olive oil and the wine right right so what does that represent i i see two possibilities i don't know which one's right. One possibility could be that God in his mercy is saying, we've got to allow some things that the people can have. Another viewpoint is the economic system is so out of whack at this point that the wine and cheese crowd are eating well. Yes. I mean, think about who uses olive oil, who uses wine.

The wealthy. Yes. So the wealthy may be eating well, and everybody else is trying to get a loaf of bread. They're working all day to get some bread. Do you believe the Bible? The Bible says there's going to be extreme food inflation. And I'm telling you right now, it is beyond our comprehension. In fact, I'm totally out of order, but I think this is probably the right place to bring it in.

Lee, bring up 37. This is today's Wall Street Journal. Inflation heated up in January, freezing the Fed. Yes. Guess what's driving the prices up? Food. consumer prices rose more briskly than expected in january extending a recent pattern of price increases at the start of the year that likely derails the prospects for federal reserve rate cuts labor department on wednesday reported that the consumer prices in january rose three percent in January rose 3% from a year earlier. Paul Ashworth, Chief North American Economist at Capital Economics, says inflation has now

been around these rates for some time and clearly isn't coming down decisively anymore. The bigger-than-expected increase in prices last month largely reflected higher prices for used cars and auto insurance. Egg prices increased more than 15%. That accounted for about two-thirds of the total monthly increase of grocery prices. Just that alone. Before Christ comes back, food will cost astronomical prices. God is telling his people

to stockpile food. Yes. If you don't have the money to buy it, then ask him for miracle money. This is the year for faith. Ask him for miracle money. This is the year for faith. Ask Him for miracle money. What is miracle money? Well, if you don't have the money to buy the food

and you need the money, make a pledge to the Lord that if He gives you money supernaturally that comes to you in some totally unexpected manner, this is what you get to do. You decide in advance before you make the pledge to the Lord how much you will give to true news. Why else? Because I'm the one

telling you about it. It's just that simple. If another preacher had the faith to tell you, they'd already tell you. But they don't have the faith. I do. So, make a pledge to the Lord. Whatever amount, whether it's a fixed dollar amount or a fixed percentage amount, that's between you and God. You just make sure you keep it. You keep your vow. Maybe you give 50%, 25%, whatever it is.

Okay. That's between you and the Lord. But I'll tell you this, the higher the amount is, the more He's going to give you. You know why? Because He wants to bless this ministry. He wants to bless you. Yes.

Okay? So the more you're willing to give us, the more He's going to give you. And notice, when I was referring to Agabus and the famine that was coming, the churches immediately said, we need to give. We need to give. We need to be preparing by giving. Yes.

By preparing the people. Yes. They responded to the word of the Lord that was being given to them by the prophet. That's right. So you're being given a word that a great war is coming and there's going to be famine. And you've got about seven years to prepare. Somewhere I've read that in the Bible. Seven years to prepare.

All right. Start stockpiling the food now. Some years ago, I remember getting emails from people saying, Rick, I don't have any money to buy food. What do I do? Oh, you're in a great place. So that troubled me. And I went to the Lord in prayer. And I said, Lord, what do I say? Now, I've already told you what to do

about ask for miracle money. But the other thing the Lord told me to say is whatever you can stockpile, have something that you can give away. Yes. If you've only got 10 cans of beans, be prepared to give away five. You've got something.

See, as long as you have something to give away, what you have will continue to be replenished. How? Supernaturally. This is why I'm teaching faith this year. You're going to need supernatural miracles to stay alive. Doc, where's that now now we've entered that place we've gone into that zone you're going to need supernatural miracles to stay alive and that's why i'm teaching faith this year and some people are already worked up and already dropped out okay so what you won't just won't figure it out.

Take your unbelief and take it to somebody else. I'm talking to people who want to hear about faith in God and supernatural miracles for supply. There are people, even right now, watching or listening to us, they're bristling. I don't care. I don't care.

He only talks about money. You know, we hardly ever talk about money. i have to encourage my staff has to tell me might be a good idea that we tell people that's okay to give my team has to tell me you haven't mentioned donations and weeks okay but i'm doing this because you need this this is for you or for you this is for you you need to know how to be prepared. So I was talking about miracle money. If you don't have money to buy the food, make a vow to God. If you give me miracle money, I'll give away so much to True News, I'll use the rest of the money to buy food. That's miracle money. You're putting it in

God's court. You're putting it with Him. That's right. Then watch what He does. Just watch what He does. And then when're putting it with him. That's right. Then watch what he does. Trump says Russia agrees to immediately begin negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. This is great news. President Trump posted on Truth Social the details. I'll let you read it, Doc. This was from Truth Social earlier today. I just had a lengthy and highly productive phone call with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. We discussed

Ukraine, the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, the power of the dollar, and various other subjects. We also reflected on the great history of our nations and the fact that we fought so successfully together in World War II, remembering that Russia lost tens of millions of people and we likewise lost so many. We each talked about the strengths of our respective nations and the great benefit that we will someday have in working together. But first, as we both agreed, we want to stop the millions of deaths taking place in the war with Russia and Ukraine. President Putin even used my very strong campaign motto of common sense. We both believe very strongly in it and we agreed to work together very closely, including visiting each other's nations. So that was a key thing there that came out of the conversation.

And then Russia, they released their own statement, Dmitry Peskov. Yes. This is number eight for control. So Dmitry Peskov had this to say. It's in Russian, but I'll provide the English translation. The topic of settlement in Ukraine was also discussed. President Trump spoke in favor of speeding into hostilities and solving the problem by peaceful means.

that's a blessing to you. let's pick back up in verse number 10 here and we are talking about abraham and david going back to david uh abraham now picking back up in verse 10 how is it then reckoned when he was in circumcision or an uncircumcision not in circumcision but an uncircumcision and he received the sign of circumcision a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being circumcised that he might be the father of all them that believe all them that believe though they be not circumcised that righteousness might be imputed upon them also and the father of circumcision to them

who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law but through the righteousness of faith for if they which are of the law be heirs faith is made void and the promise made of known effect now because the law worketh wrath

for where no law is there is no transgression therefore it is of faith that it might be by grace to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed not to that only which is of the law but to that also which is of the faith of abraham who is the father of us all. In verse 17, Paul quoting Genesis chapter 17, as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations. Before him whom he believed, even God who quickeneth the dead and calleth those things which be not

as though they were. Praise God. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Verse 10. as though they were praise God hallelujah verse 10 how then was it counted reckoned when he was in circumcision or in uncircumcision not in circumcision but in uncircumcision. What's Paul saying? Abraham was declared righteous before receiving the outward sign of circumcision. So Genesis 15, 6 establishes the chronological order.

Faith first, circumcision second. The timeline, Faith first, circumcision second. The timeline is teaching us that rituals are secondary to faith. Justification is not a product of ceremonial law, but it is an act of God's grace through belief and trust and faith in him. So since Abraham was justified before circumcision, Gentiles are equally eligible for justification.

Hallelujah. Boy, that we could just end the lesson today right there i'm dropping my seat is dropping have you noticed you see i'm dropping down my head the hydraulics the hydraulics is i'm gonna i'm to get off this thing and stand, okay? What I was saying was we could end the lesson right now. Let me repeat this Genesis 15 6 establishes the order faith first circumcision second it emphasizes that rituals are secondary to faith. Justification is not the product of a ritual, but an act of God's grace. Therefore, since Abraham was justified before the requirement of circumcision,

all Gentiles in the world are equally eligible for justification amen man that's a powerful thought amen so that revelation dismantles the notion that only circumcised Jews can be part of God's covenant right

because Abraham was in the covenant before there were Jews Abraham's trust in God's promise because abraham was in the covenant before there were jews abraham's trust in god's promise is the decisive factor in his righteousness and his experience demonstrates that faith not religious rituals defines a person's relationship with God. Circumcision in the Old Testament was a seal confirming the righteousness that had already been granted. The practice of circumcision

was a sign of the covenant, not the means of entering it. So the Jewish reliance on the law and circumcision for justification is baseless. Face precedence over works ensure salvation is grounded in God's grace not human effort so this argument establishes that faith is not limited to one nation one ethnic group one race one tradition Abraham's example extends to all people on the earth who trust in God's promises. Grace, the offer of grace is universal.

So Abraham's faith made him a prototype for all who believe. Which proves the inclusivity of God's redemptive plan don't believe anybody the moment you hear somebody teaching a a doctrine that says people are saved certain races you even have this in the fringes

of Christianity there are people who are teaching that only white people are saved that's a blasphemy from hell and the way they justify how they try to make this argument it's that old extension.

This is a theological term, Anglo-Israelism. Yes. In that the white races, Caucasians and everything, they were of the ten tribes of Israel that were scattered throughout the world. So in other words, what they're trying to say is that the white races are really Jews and that they are the true inheritors of the Jewish kingdom. But even that argument is faulty because if they're the 10 lost tribes, they weren't Jews. That's right. Because the Jews came from Judah. I guess technically

they are Israel. And so, but yeah, that's the same argument there. It's a false doctrine. Yes. And again, what we're doing in this class is we want to give you the foundation of the Christian faith so that you can easily spot false doctrine

yes and shut it down in your head and go no that's not real that's not biblical so believers christian believers we we are encouraged to follow Abraham's example of unwavering trust in the promises of God. And where do we find the promises of God? In the Holy Bible. Yes. On divine grace. That fosters assurance. And peace. In us about our standing before God. So faith alone.

Is the defining mark of belonging to God's covenant family. End of discussion. Amen. Faith alone. Look, and I think we have some of our dear Roman Catholic friends in the class,

and that's wonderful, but the doctrine in the Roman Catholic Church is that you're in the covenant because you're in the Roman Catholic Church is that you're in the covenant because you're in the Roman Catholic Church. See, that's wrong. You're in the covenant because you have faith in the promises of God. You have to keep it focused on faith in God. Not an organization, not a denomination, not a ritual. Pure and simple,

it is faith in God's promises. So this Abraham's example unites all believers under one common faith that's why we have to hold to it the faith of abraham the faith of abraham and so his life is like a bridge that connects people from diverse backgrounds and ethnic groups and nations and languages we're all Abraham's children so the gentiles um can find reassurance that they are fully included in God's plan of salvation do you know who I think the greatest harvest field

of lost souls that's about to be won, Doc, are the Arabs. They are direct descendants of Abraham. Biologically. Okay, so they know that too

yes and yet they're excluded the Jews don't want them the Christians don't want them and yet you ask any Arab where do you trace your ancestry oh to Abraham right but nobody wants them Where do you trace your ancestry? Oh, to Abraham. Right.

But nobody wants them. See, Christians, we need to be going to the Arabs saying, you are Abraham's children. You need to come in to the covenant that is rightfully yours. The way you do it is by faith, just like Abraham. Yes. You're not going to win them by telling them that Muhammad was a false prophet. You got to tell them that Abraham was a true father of faith. Next verse, verse 11.

He received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of faith, which he had while he was in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they might be in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they might be in uncircumcision, that righteousness might also be accounted to them. Doc, I mean, these verses, you know, they can be mind-boggling to the average person reading them okay

what did he just say he received the sign of circumcision a seal of righteousness which he had while he was in uncircumcision that he might be the father of those who believe though they might be in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of those who believe, though they might be in

uncircumcision, that righteousness might be accounted unto them. So what it's saying is the circumcision confirmed the righteousness Abraham had already received by faith. Yes. The act of circumcision didn't make him righteous.

It was the stamp of approval from God saying, I made you righteous and you now have the mark. The sign, the outward sign was a visible representation of an inward reality. That person had a divine endorsement from God. It was the evidence that righteousness was already present. It was not the cause of Abraham's justification, but God's confirmation of it. Yes. Circumcision followed faith circumcision was the the evidence of the faith it was work of trust in God.

What do we do when we're saved? We are baptized. Which comes first? Faith. Faith. Faith. You have faith in Christ first, then you're baptized. So, what this is proving is the supremacy of faith.

Faith is higher than religious rituals. Without faith, it is impossible to please God it's such a simple concept and again this principle this principle of faith applied to Abraham is applied universally today. It's been for every generation. It will continue for every generation until Christ comes. God will never repeal, rescind, or nullify this rule.

He's not going to introduce something new 50 years from now. If the world is still here 100 years from now, people will still come to God through faith. Yes. It is a timeless standard until Christ comes. So Abraham is the spiritual ancestor of all who trust in god and his faith is the model for all people in the world is trusting god's word set the pattern for future generations because it illustrates that god's grace

not human merit is what brings righteousness let's go to verse 12. and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had in uncircumcision. So the fatherhood of Abraham is defined by a shared faith not a physical lineage or rituals

this is a spiritual fatherhood that transcends cultural religious, ethnic, racial political, national boundaries which political national boundaries which flies in the face of Zionism so you can't believe this and be a Zionist at the same time that's right I want to drive this home to you some of you if you're still flirting with Zionism, you can't believe Romans

and be a Zionist at the same time. They're contradictory. There's not a lot more to say about this verse because we're repeating the same themes. Right. But Paul's just driving home the point that faith is a unifying factor

that connects all believers worldwide. That we are called to focus on living by faith. We are to have the same trust in God and in God's words that Abraham displayed. That's the message in this verse. That faith is the true mark of belonging to God's covenant family. Verse 13, for the promise to Abraham and to his offspring

that he would be the heir of the world wasn't through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. So the promise that God made to Abraham was based in faith, not the law of Moses. Once again, this flies in the face of Zionism. Abraham didn't even build a house in the promised land. That's right. By faith, he was looking for another city.

That's right. He said, there's nothing here that appeals to me. I've seen a glimpse of the great city. He wasn't interested in building Jerusalem. There was no Jerusalem. He was moving. He lived as a sojourner a traveler a nomad he never built a house he lived in tents why why did he not build a house because he he said this is not my world. I'm just passing through.

Passing through. I'm headed to a city. You know, if we could talk to Abraham, he'd be looking at this mess in the world going, so much fighting and killing over a piece of land, a piece of land that I didn't even build a house in. And everybody's using my name. The Jews are using my name.

The Muslims are using my name. The Christians are using my name. And they're all fighting over a piece of land that I didn't even build a house in. Because I wanted to be here in this heavenly city so Abraham's justification and the inheritance promised to him occurred before God gave the law to Moses. So that confirms God's initiative to save and bless through grace and trust, not human effort. Heir of the world the inheritance air the world symbolizes the universal

scope of the blessings promised to Abraham not talking about the Jewish race of people right all right here we go with Zionism. Turn on Christian TV today. I guarantee you, probably once an hour, you'll hear Genesis misquoted. You'll hear somebody say, well, you know what the Bible says. God bless those that bless Israel. Yeah, we've got to stand with Israel. Netanyahu's going to kill a lot of Palestinian children this weekend. We've got to bless Israel. That's right.

That's not what the Bible says. The air, we're talking about the blessing that would come to the nations through faith in christ this inheritance is spiritual not physical it means all who share Abraham's faith. It's a global reach of God's redemptive plan. It unites all believers in all nations into one spiritual family, a family of faith. And our father, our earthly father is Abraham. He showed us the way that's the way you should look at at abraham that great great great great great grandpa abraham he showed us the way he showed us the way to god how by faith by trusting by believing god's word

and for that he was counted as righteous. So this promise from God was established long before God gave the Mosaic Law. The law is secondary. It has a different purpose in God's redemptive plan. It was never the main show and yet never you'll have the you'll have the christian zionists you know how lindsay's gone now but he was he was you know he was fond of saying, the state of Israel is God's prophetic time clock. When the state of Israel comes into existence, as it did in 1948, God's prophetic time clock will start ticking again.

The church will be raptured away, and now God will focus everything on Israel. It's a lie. God's focusing everything on spiritual Israel. Those who trust his son like Abraham trusted God. And he was a father

of many nations too. Not just one. I'm part of the Abraham nation. Well, Doc, you know the way the Zionists would interpret that. Oh, that they would inherit the world? Yes. But who's the inheritor of the world? Abraham is.

Abraham's faith is. Yes. But who's the inheritor of the world? Abraham is. Abraham's faith is. Yes. And actually, his seed, his seed is Jesus, and his inheritance are the nations of the world. That's right. And we are in that seed. We are in Christ, Galatians 3.16.

I mean, the Bible is pretty clear on this. I really don't know how people get confused on it, other than you just have the constant bombardment of the Zionist propaganda that keeps getting put out there on TV, on radio, from the pulpit. When people, look, this is a very simple Bible study here. We don't make things too complicated, but do you see from this passage of Scripture here today, ladies and gentlemen, that God had a plan for the salvation of the entire world based on faith, not just on a particular nation or a particular piece of real estate. God could create more real estate everywhere, anywhere.

What's limiting God? And yet we'll say God is limited. Oh, he's only going to bless this little corner of the world. No, that blessing was meant to be for every man, woman, boy, and girl by faith. Praise God. Praise God. It's not limited. Nope.

The promise is not restricted to Abraham's physical descendants, but it extends to all people worldwide who emulate his faith. Not

joining Judaism, but emulating the faith of Abraham. joining Judaism, but emulating the faith of Abraham. Abraham was justified and given the promise long before there was ever Judaism. It's faith. Faith in Christ is the only criterion for belonging to god's covenant family

amen end of discussion there's nothing else faith in jesus christ so what paul's teaching us here is that abraham's spiritual legacy ensures that all who believe anywhere in the world regardless of their race or nationality all share in the promise of god to abraham you're not a second-class citizen in the kingdom of God because you're not a Jew. Right. That's another one of the lies that's being taught today. See, once you know who you are in Christ, you get your identity down.

Oh, my, you can do all kinds of things. Because you now have, you have, your faith is now focused on God and his word. That's why Satan has worked so hard to keep you from believing this or discovering it. Or trick you into saying you've got to do these certain things to be saved, saved. You've got to keep the Sabbath. You've got to, you know, follow the dietary laws. You've got to do these things.

Whatever it might be. I mean, it could be any number of things, a requirement. No. If it's a requirement, it's not faith. And that's what we get into here, you know, in these next couple of verses that Paul makes the argument, look, the law doesn't save. The law only points out sin. The law, keeping the law doesn't save at all. It's faith in God alone. That's right. So justification is granted

as a gift from God because of his grace through our trust in his word and the inheritance is granted as a gift from God. These two things,

justification and inheritance. If you're justified, you will inherit. Because you're brought in to the family. And there are no second-class children in God's family. He doesn't have

stepchildren. They're all sons and daughters so the law is not the source or means of obtaining God's promises rituals are not the means of obtaining God's promises there's only one way faith you receive from God whatever he's promised one way faith I know look we all get in

situations at some time in our life where we're just crying like a baby to God he's not cold and indifferent he has pity on us he has mercy on us but nothing's going to happen until you get out of that attitude and and express faith he will be merciful to you while you're having a crying fit he's not cold and indifferent doesn't turn his head and walk away so it's not my problem that's that's not him he'll comfort he'll comfort you but where what's he going to be how's he going to be moving you moving you to express faith in his word yes okay i hear your cries i want to help you but i can't help you until you express faith in my word so get to crying out,

get it over with, but then get back to faith. And the more you walk like this, the less crying you'll do. Because it's only for your benefit, it's not getting anything done. Complaining doesn't get anything done. you can complain all day long to God tell him what's wrong who's wrong do all that all day long nothing will change but speak faith speak faith about that situation oh now God that'll activate him maybe did you say you trust

me did you quote my word yes I did well in that case I'll do it oh doesn't when you get that down and you done that make you understand that you need to know his word? You can't quote his word if you don't know his word. And if you don't believe his word, there's no point in quoting the word. Right. You have to know the word. You have to believe the word. You have to quote the word. you know, there's a lot of people, Rick, that have a problem in that, well, I believed God

for this thing. Let's say it's for healing, okay, but I haven't seen my healing yet. I haven't seen that manifested yet. Well, in Abraham's case, by faith, he believed God. What did he believe? God said that he would make Abraham a father of many nations. Not having a child yet. Not having a child. Not seeing

the fulfillment of the promise. And yes, they made a little mistake along the way, Ishmael and everything. But he believed God to the point that when Isaac came along, that even if he sacrificed Isaac on an altar and killed Isaac, that God was able to raise up Isaac from the dead and make nations out of him as well. Remember when the promise was originally given to Abraham,

he did, I mean, he was an old man. But he believed God, believed the promise. Did not, kept on with the promise of God. And that is a lesson to us as well.

And faith, I saw someone make a comment here a while ago, faith is not a one-time event. We walk by faith, not by sight. This is a walk. This is every day we need to operate in the realm of faith. It's not something that happened at an altar when you were 15 years old back in 1979. No, faith is today, February 12, 2025. You believe the word of God today, not believe the word of God for what happened in the past. That's right. By faith, by faith, by faith.

Amen. That's the message. You confess the word. You believe the word until the physical surrounding matches the word. The word will never change, but the physical circumstances will change. Amen. I don't know how it happens, but moves and shapes reshapes what we call reality but he does it when we stand on his word

and i'll i'll say this yeah you're right rick we can change our reality by faith yes we can change our reality by faith. Yes. We can change our reality by faith. Were you in bondage? By faith, you can be free. Were you a sinner? Well, by faith, you can be redeemed. Are you sick? By faith, you can be healed. By faith, faith can change the reality around us. Praise God, aren't you? Amen. Let's get excited today that faith can change your circumstances, your world, it changes your life, it changes your destiny. Faith. I know I've told this story before, but I'm going to tell it again for somebody who needs to hear it.

So back in the mid 90s um i was in a situation uh i needed a breakthrough i mean i i needed a financial breakthrough what i was doing was not working okay and i needed a financial breakthrough and i'm not even going to tell you the story of how i um applied for the job at tvn that's a that's a miraculous story in itself but that's not what i'm going to tell you right now so the lord arranged for me to find out about the job at TVN in Texas. I was in Maryland. And so I was told that Paul Crouch wanted to interview me. Well, something like two months went by.

And I'm like, I got to get this job. You know, I'm holding on. I got to get this job. I don't want them to hire somebody else i want that job that job's got my name on it i want it okay and i was concerned somebody else was going to get that job all right i like they haven't called me for two months and i kept checking in and they and they said well paul krauts is traveling a lot he's overseas you know he's schedules busy and he's going to get to you okay well one day and i've never done this before i'd never done it up until that day and i've never done it since i i was in prayer in my bedroom and i took my bible and i placed it on the floor and I stood on it

and I said, God, I am standing on your word. I need an interview with Paul Crouch. I'm standing on your word. I don't recall the exact time, whether it was one hour, two hours, but I got a phone call from Margie Tusello. And I looked her up the other day. She's still alive. She was Paul Krause's personal secretary. And Mrs. Tusello said, Mr. Wiles, Mr. Krause will be in his office tomorrow.

He wants to see you at 2.30. Well, I was in Maryland, and his office was in Tustin, California. I suddenly have an appointment with Paul Crouch at 2.30, and she said, can I confirm that you'll be there? I said, oh, yes, ma'am, I'll be there. Now, had you booked your flight yet? Doc, I didn't have the money to buy a bus ticket, okay? But I remember thinking,

if I got to take myself down to the FedEx office, put myself in a box and ship myself overnight. I'll end up on his doorstep. I'm going to be there. I don't know how this is going to happen. I had to move. I had to, I had, things had to happen. Anyhow, I got the money to buy a ticket and I, I flew to California I left right away went to California I'm in a hotel the next day I'm you know I'm in the Hilton Hotel of Irvine they know they paid for the hotel room it was the Hilton Hotel of Irvine California I'm in the room I get a phone call and somebody introduced themselves. It's from TBN. They said, a driver's on his way. Be down in the lobby. He'll be there in minutes.

I was driven over to the TBN corporate office. I was escorted into the executive offices. I met Margie Tusello. She led me into Paul Crouch's office. He wasn't there. I was sitting in his office by myself. And I remember thinking, 24 hours ago, I was in my house in Maryland, and I was in a desperate state. And I stood on the word of God.

Yesterday, I was standing on the word in my bedroom, and today I'm sitting in Paul Crouch's office. God moved. He changed the physical reality. Paul Crouch came in, did the interview. Last thing he said was, tell me that story. I heard about the, you got a story. That's the story I haven't told you.

How I found about the job. He listened, put his hand out. He said, you're the marketing director. I need you in Dallas, Texas on Monday. And that was, I want to say a Wednesday or Thursday. I don't recall. It was midweek. He got up and he said, I need to say a Wednesday or Thursday I don't recall it was midweek he got up he said I want you I need you in Dallas on Monday he got up and walked out left me sitting in his office I thought he was going to the

bathroom or something I'm just sitting there waiting on him to come back Margie to sell it came in I said well what's going on and she laughed he said what's going on dr. Kraus just hired you I said well where is he she says well he left he has other things to do he did what he wanted with you he done and I said well what I do now she said follow me we're going to onboard you I'll take you to human resources HR and get you on board. And on Sunday, I flew to Dallas, Texas, checked into a hotel, and I was at my desk on Monday morning.

By faith. By faith. Don't tell me faith doesn't change things. Now, unbelief would have said at the very beginning, well, I can't fly out to California for a job interview. That's on the other side of the country. I can't do that. And even after I got the job, I could have looked at Paul Crouch and said, you want me where on Monday? I can't be there on Monday. I haven't even checked with my wife yet or anything. Yes. And I've had this in hiring people here. I've offered jobs to people and some people have said, well, I'll think about it. Think about it. You applied for the job. You just got it. You're going to think about it. You should have thought about it before you got it. You're going to think about it?

You should have thought about it before you got here. And I told him that. You should have been thinking about it before you came and took my time. But I had others who said, when do you want me? Okay, so, you know, Doc was one of them. I was one of them. 11 years ago. That's right.

Doc didn't give me anything like, well, it'll take me about a year to get here, you know. You've got to remember, when I came on board, I was living in the Philippines. Yes. I had a wife. I had property. I had a car in the Philippines. In the U.S., I had nothing. I didn't didn't have a car didn't have a place to live didn't have anything and within days I had all everything and began working with Rick that was the first

week of February in the year 2014 that's 11 years All I had to do was say yes. What was the day? It was February 3rd, 2014. We just passed your anniversary. Yes, sure did. Oh my gosh, Doc, I forgot to congratulate you. Okay, everybody congratulate Doc. I congratulated myself. It's his anniversary.

Yeah, so 11 years. But I, you know, when Rick offered the position, I didn't think about it, I knew it was the Lord, and I said yes, all the other things, I didn't know I was going to get my wife here, I didn't have, I was, I had borrowed a car to come down to Vero, I didn't have a place to live in Vero, None of these things. And within days, I had all of that. So my furnished apartment had a vehicle, had everything. I had to buy some clothes because I didn't even have the clothes to live in Vero. I didn't have a suit jacket, nothing. But by faith, I said yes, and I'm so glad i did because it changed my reality it really really did and you you've changed this ministry it was god's plan for you to be here

and see it was my it was god's plan for me to be a tbn at that time that's why things happened it was god's timing right but God gave me the faith to believe for his timing he had a miracle waiting for me okay so never give up there's a lot that has to happen at the same time you got to be in God's will yes and you have that faith we get back before we run out of time verse 14 for if those who are of the law are heirs faith is made void and the promise is made of no effect. So if the inheritance depends on obeying the law, then the promise loses its essence as a gift of grace. Faith becomes void and the promise becomes void too.

And instead of being a gift, it turns into a reward for perfect obedience. And now you're back to religion. Yes. And what's tragic today, Rick, is so many of those who call themselves Jews, and even a lot of Christians will say this about Jews, that they're people of the law, people of the Torah. And yet, and they would say, some would say that the reason why they're saved is because they are of the law, right?

But the Jews today can't keep the law. They can't even keep the law why because the law requires a blood sacrifice on an altar and they can't keep that part of the law so how do you how do they uh how can you say that a Jewish person has fulfilled the covenant of God if they don't obey the law. Well, that's where grace comes in. Yes. The law demands perfect obedience. Yes. Which no human can achieve.

That's right. Therefore, the law cannot serve as a pathway to salvation and the inheritance. There's no way because it requires perfect obedience. And there's no way any human can be obedient perfectly to the law. So the law is inadequate. It cannot provide salvation. It simply reveals to you your need for salvation. Yes.

It's breaking the law. Yes, the law worketh wrath. So the promise of God depends on faith. And that means aligning your faith with god's grace and then you receive the inheritance you will never receive the inheritance by trying to keep the law perfectly just it's impossible so again abraham's inheritance through faith is the pattern for all believers. Verse 15. For the law produces wrath.

For where there is no law, there is no disobedience. For the law produces wrath. For where there is no law, neither is there disobedience. How can there be disobedience if there's no law? That's right. A police officer can't stop you and arrest you for doing something that there's no law against. They take you to the court and the judge is going to say, well, what's the charge?

There's no law against that. Let them go. So the law is a divine standard. And when it's broken, it reveals sin. And the sin justifies God's judgment. divine standard. And when it's broken, it reveals sin. And the sin justifies God's judgment. Cities and states and nations have laws. When you break them,

you're a lawbreaker. When you're a lawbreaker, the court is justified in punishing you. It's like the new, you know, Mr. Trump's immigration, they call him czar, I don't know what his exact title is, Tom Homan. You know, he made a statement. It shocked some people. It's like, what's shocking about it? He said, hey, anybody in this country illegally is a criminal. That's our new standard. Well, that's just common sense. If you came into the country by breaking the law, you're a lawbreaker.

Yes. So the same is true in the kingdom of God if you have broken any law of God you're a lawbreaker are there any illegal immigrants in heaven I'm not talking about earthly boundaries can can you illegally enter heaven no my friend where is your wedding there that's right friend I see that you're not wearing your wedding garment. Please explain. So the law establishes boundaries. And the law shows, reveals human inability to meet the requirements. And that increases the awareness of guilt.

The purpose of the law is not to save, but to expose sin. Yes. And to make people conscious of their need for grace. This is why Martin Luther said, all preachers must preach law and grace. Yes. Why do we preach law? Because law points out the failure of man

to live up to God's righteousness and puts man in a state of bankruptcy. And man should acknowledge his bankruptcy and turn to God. That's the purpose of the law. Yes. So, if a preacher's sermons to God. That's the purpose of the law. Yes. So if a preacher's

sermons are all about the law, sin, hell, and he never talks about grace, that's out of balance. It's out of balance. How's the sinner going to find salvation? But if the preacher only talks about grace

and never talks about the law, how's the person going to know why they have grace? And really, that's the philosophy of the modern church today. That's, you know, it's all love, it's grace, it's all these other things, but there's never any sin. We're not sinners anymore. You understand that? We're not sinners anymore in the eyes of the modern church. We're just people that need improvement, or we need to express ourselves, or we need to express our gender, or whatever it might be. No, you've got to have both. You've got to have law, you've got to have grace, and both need to be taught in the church unfortunately the law is not taught in the church today right uh years ago i heard with my own ears i heard uh joe osteen in a television interview i don't recall who was interviewing him

but he said god never called me to talk about sin. And I said, he's living up to it. Yeah. I said, wow. How did he get the pass? I got in the wrong line. I was in the line and God said, okay, you, I want you to talk about sin and grace. But Joe, you only talk about grace. You see, it's not true.

I guarantee you, God didn't tell him, you don't have to talk about sin. He doesn't want to talk about it. That's for him to deal with, not me. You know, I'm not his judge. But he'll have to face that someday. I'm not going to judge him, criticize him. I'm just saying, when I hear a preacher say, I was never called to talk about sin, then I wonder, who called you?

Yes. Because it's a different God that I'm serving. Because the one I'm serving serving he gets really bent out of shape about sin yeah it really gets him upset and then he extends grace

so the law transforms sinfulness into disobedience by making God's expectations very clear. Faith always leads to righteousness and peace. The law always leads to wrath and condemnation. Boy, that says it all.

Yes. You follow the law, there will be wrath and condemnation. You follow faith, there will be righteousness and peace. I mean, it's really an easy one. Doc, how many verses did we say we were going to do today? We were going to go down to 17 if we can make it. Okay, I'm going to do the next two really quick and wrap it up. Verse 16, for this cause it is of faith that it may be according to grace to the end that the promise may be sure to all the offspring,

not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. It's a big, long sentence. Faith ensures salvation aligns with God's grace. It's underlining. Justification is a divine gift from God, not something you earned. It's not a reward. Salvation is not a reward salvation is not a reward it's a gift by tying the promise of god to faith it's it's a reflection of god's unmerited favor amen and it ensures that salvation is accessible and

unchanging and that it's available to all if it was by works very well actually nobody would nobody would achieve it. So grounding the promise in faith makes it reliable, makes it certain, makes it depend on God's grace. And it allows us as humans to trust in God's faithfulness. Knowing that his promises do not rely on our performances. Hallelujah. Woo! Praise God for that.

That's a keeper, wasn't it? God, what do I have to do to impress you? What is it that I can do, God, that you will say, Doc deserves a reward for being really, really good? There's nothing I can do, God, that you will say, Doc deserves a reward for being really, really good. There's nothing I can do. Nothing. Nothing. And look, a lot of people can be performance-driven.

They think, as a Christian, if I perform, God will like me more. No, he loves you. He loves you now. His love for you is not based on your performance for him. You know, you can get that in ministry where people start thinking well if i perform more god will like me more right and then we start thinking and this trapped a lot of pastors

and preachers will get into uh even good ones where they'll start measuring their success by number of people in the church or, you know, on various activities or finances or anything like that. It's not to say those things aren't important and they are in measuring sticks for us, but we can't say that those are the reasons that God blesses me or God loves me. God doesn't love me because I have 300 people in my church instead of 200. He's not loving me more. And so it can't be based, our relationship with God can't be based on our worldly performance for him. That's right. I grimaced one day. I heard a prominent minister on television say,

our ministry is approved by God. It is blessed by God. And I can tell you, we have X million. I don't remember the number. It was a big number. It was close to $100 million. He goes, we have $100 million in our checking account. That's proof right there God approves of this ministry. And I grimaced when I heard him say it. It's like, oh, no, brother. No, it's not proof. It just means you've been really good at raising money and

and sucking it in the bank that's right I mean we can use that argument for George Soros he's a billionaire yeah right yeah love him a lot but can I tell you a same man died a few years later you know it's dangerous to be in the ministry and talk like that I'm not going to say anything else just be faithful be faithful

be faithful you know at times i had over 25 26 years of ministry at times i felt like wow our ministry we're we're really behind a lot of other ministries you know have been in operation the same number of years and I'm like well Lord look I'm I'm your turtle okay I'm not running as fast as these other guys but I am moving okay it's steady every day I'm going forward you see you have to get yourself into the mindset that hey don't compare yourself to somebody else you just do what god's called you to do you you stay in your lane if god puts you in a slow lane then enjoy it that's right enjoy the scenery. Enjoy it.

Because I'll tell you, sometimes getting over there in the fast lane, you can be in a crash. And that's what happens to a lot of these ministries. They go so fast, so big, so quickly, they crash. So I'm okay in the slow lane. So Abraham's example is the precedent to all who believe, because it establishes him as the father of the spiritual family that transcends all boundaries.

His faith is the model. It shows us that righteousness and blessings come through trust in God's word because God himself is trust. He is truth. One more verse

and we'll close it. Verse as it is written I have made you a father of many nations this is in the presence of him who he believed God who gave gives life to the dead and calls the things that are not as though they were oh glory you know that story i told you about standing on the bible all right the 1990s saying god i need that interview with paul crouch i am not budging i'm standing here i'm not going to budge until I get that interview. That job is mine.

It's not for somebody else. It's for me. I was calling things that are not as though they were. Glory. That's what it looks like in real life. People around you say, well, you're talking and acting like an idiot. Okay, whatever you call me,

just watch what happens. I have made you a father of many nations. Is that just the state of Israel? Many nations. Many nations. Many nations. Would one nation be true for another? That's right. Abraham is the father of a worldwide spiritual family of believers.

Not believers in any religion. Believers in Christ. Who gives life to the dead. Speaking of God's power over life and death. And in particular, it speaks of Abraham who trusted God's inability, I mean, excuse me, trusted God's ability to bring life from his body and his old wife's body. The two of them couldn't produce a child.

They say, you give life to the dead. My physical body isn't producing a baby. My wife's body is not producing a baby. But you said I'm going to have a child. He's calling things that are not as though they were yeah I said this to our team last night in a meeting late in the afternoon I said you know Sarah Sarah didn't laugh at God when God said Sarah you're gonna have a baby she's 90 years old. Abraham was 100.

She did laugh, but she wasn't laughing at God. I think she looked over at old Abraham sitting there in the tent and started to chuckle. That ain't going to happen. He'll break the hip first.

It's not going to happen. He'll break the hip first. It's just not going to happen. She's not laughing at God. I think she's saying, hey, if you say I'm going to have a baby, I can, but I don't know what you can do about him. He's 10 years older than me,

and I'm old. Right. So, calls to things that are not as though they were. It speaks about God's sovereign authority to bring into physical existence things that do not yet exist. Hallelujah. Because of his creative power, the certainty of his promises. Hallelujah. You can't be one who says,

well, I'll believe it when I see it. You gotta believe it before you see it. Amen. You believe it before you see it. If you don't do that that you'll never see it so abraham's faith was rooted in god's nature his ability to fulfill promises his ability to overcome impossibilities there's no such thing as an impossibility to god it's only to humans so when you're faced with insurmountable

circumstances like sarah sarah's old age and abraham's old age abraham's trust did not waver and he he came to the place and he said okay God said it we don't know doc how many times Abraham and Sarah tried my husband tells that part okay but it worked one time so how many has so only has to work once that's right brace yourself Sarah the promise is guaranteed by God's unchanging character and

his ability to bring about what he declares glory end of discussion His ability to bring about what he declares. Glory. End of discussion. If God said it, you believe it, and it will come to pass. And we're going to talk about that again tomorrow. And then on Friday is Faith Friday. Guess what we're going to talk about on Friday?

Faith. This is the year of faith. This group, and I'm telling you particularly Morning Manor, you're the cream. You're the cream in this ministry. I'm telling you, folks, I believe

this. You are the cream of this ministry. We have thousands that come to us every day to hear the news. But those who come for the word, you're the cream. You're the cream, okay? It's through you that God is going to do something new and exciting this year. It's going to happen corporately through this ministry but it's also going to happen individually through your lives amen your lives

are going to change this year because god has been preparing you you've been coming to morning manor some of you have been coming here every day for several years, the word is percolating in you. The word is percolating. And you're getting this down. I just, all I have to do is believe the word. All I have to do is believe the word. Okay. Now, things are going to start happening in your life.

Things are going to happen in this ministry where I'm not listening to naysayers anyway I'm so fed up with naysayers right person complainers that for years every time I go to do something for God people would complain and great why are you doing that and what are you spending the money for remember I'm not listening to it anymore you just stay back there in the wilderness and do nothing dude not long we're going to the promised land okay oh yeah that's right my line is I want my rocket ride I just imagine okay about their wandering around the wilderness

saying why am I stuck with these people and every day he's looking across and the promised land hey see that mountain over there one day that mountain is going to be mine that's going to be my mountain I may be walking around in circles with the rest of you losers

but that is my mountain I'm going to have my mountain I'm gonna have I'm gonna say when we went to Jordan each time I was there the trip to Mount Nebo was one of them one of the most humbling and inspiring moments Mount Nebo you can literally stand on the rock where Moses stood and saw the promised land for the first time. It is,

it's humbling and it's inspiring. Yes. So, some of you are going into your promised land this year. Amen. Some of you are going to receive promised land this year. Amen. Some of you are going to receive things you've been believing for for years.

Going to be released to you now because faith, faith is working in you. All right. I got to go do my news thing. Yes, we've got to do that. And so. I got to do that and so i gotta make it but we appreciate everyone joining us today uh you know uh when i was a young pastor i could only imagine if 400 people showed up for a bible study every morning at my church i mean i would be so incredibly blessed i think joel olstein would be blessed if foreign people showed up at the Astrodome
