New York state is looking to import foreign workers to replace those healthcare professionals who refuse the jab. Officials at the FDA are talking about blow darts and drone shots to deliver the vaccine to those that resist. I'm Rick Wiles. Influential Chinese communist leaders are urging the Chinese government to fine-tune its nuclear weapons policy, and that includes a possible revision of its policy regarding a first strike. There are voices in Beijing this week calling for China to allow a first strike, a nuclear hit against the United States of America and or Australia. Doc Burkhardt is here with me. We have more on this story and a lot more. Plus, Kerry Kinsey's coming up in the second segment. And then in part three, Doc and I will have a very, very informative Bible study that relates to the second coming

of Jesus Christ. So, Doc, South China Morning Post reporting China should fine-Tune Nuclear Weapons Policy Amid U.S. Pressure. This is from an ex-diplomat, Xia Zhukan, who was China's ambassador for disarmament affairs to the United Nations. This is back in the 1990s. He said China should review its policy of not being the first to use a nuclear weapon in a conflict as it comes under growing pressure from the U.S. and its military alliances. And these remarks were made in Beijing last week at a conference, the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association, and Shah said China had taken the moral high ground with its pledge not to be the first to use nuclear weapons under any circumstance. But times change. Right. And now it's time to fine tune that policy. And that means to perhaps change that policy.

And as we are talking today, you're going to see how these new strategic alliances that have come about, especially over the past couple of weeks, such as the UK, Australia, United States and their trilateral agreement, with possibly bringing Japan in that too. There have been some possibilities that maybe that is happening as well. And so there are new lines being drawn in the Pacific. And so China is realigning themselves according to those lines that are being drawn now. It's interesting, Mr. Shah said, well, China should maintain, keep its pledge to never use nuclear weapons first, except for the United States. We may have to have a slight tweaking of the policy when it comes to the United States.

But for the rest of the world, they shouldn't worry. We will never strike you first. But we can't promise that now for the United States. But even that might be changing, too, as we'll talk later in the program here. Some very influential leaders within China have expressed that there might be other targets that are popping up, and we'll talk about that here in just a few minutes. They're not the only ones that are talking about the first strike capability of China. Our current Air Force Secretary, Mr. Kendall, has come out right out to say that China is acquiring a first strike capability, which would make sense with China saying what they are now,

that they are in a place where they feel like they could compete in a global conflict with the United States when it comes to perhaps a nuclear conflict of some kind. So the Air Force secretary is obviously concerned about it. Yes. Secretary Frank Kendall, he made this speech at the Air, Space and Cyber Conference. And he said that he lobbied for the job, Secretary of the Air Force, that he worked very hard for this job and he had three priorities, China, China, China. Right.

So there may be somebody inside the Pentagon that's not a Marxist dupe like Milley. So from what I've read here, Secretary Kendall seems to be a straight shooter. He said that whether intended or not, China is acquiring a first strike capability. Right. While no one could rationally desire or plan to initiate a nuclear war, he is not convinced China does not. And that China's rapid buildup of nuclear weapons in recent years is alarming. And of course, that means that the Air Force Secretary himself

is addressing these leaders and saying we better catch up. We had better modernize our forces because there is a conflict coming down the pike at some point in the future if we don't do something now with what we currently have. So is each side trying to start a war before the other side wants it? Well, my question is, are we in a cold war with China right now? I think we're in a biological war with China right now myself, that somehow or other, this conflict, this total global pandemic that's going on is a result of a biological war that's already underway, a biological cold war. And so that could go hot at any time. But with all these agreements here

in the past week or so, Australia, United States, the United Kingdom, and other players coming in, there is definitely lines being drawn out there and so uh it's getting you know it's looking a lot like the 50s this is this it is uh you know there's two schools of thought regarding coronavirus the origin of it i mean forget about the the bat soup thing uh that propaganda story. Few seriously thinking people give that any credibility. But of those who believe that coronavirus is a biologically designed weapon, that number one, it was created in China and released by the Chinese to bring down the West. Number two, the other theory is it was created by the United States and released in China. To make it look like China.

To make it look like China did it. And that's the accusation China's making now, too. But no matter what your view on it is, obviously the world is a completely different one than it was two years ago. And it has definitely put AUKUS, if you will, versus the regime of China definitely butting heads with one another. That's right. And I would bring this point up again that we said earlier in the week, ivermectin. There is clear evidence ivermectin works very well in the beginning stages of coronavirus. The Journal of Therapeutics absolutely says that, Rick. That's right. It's documented proof. And so has the Israeli scientists. So ivermectin is a parasite cleanse. So why is a drug that's designed and meant to kill parasites, why is that working so well? In the beginning, at least.

In the beginning for coronavirus patients. Could it be that coronavirus has parasites in it? And is ivermectin effective against skin-piercing nanoparticles, let's say, like we talked about yesterday, the technology that they have, that they already have. So there's lots of questions to be involved. Obviously, the technology to do a global pandemic is currently underway, but is the pandemic the virus or the vaccine? That's the real question here now. Is the extreme fatigue that people are suffering, is it related to a parasite that causes fatigue in humans? TC fly or something like that? What, I mean, what's causing these things? If it was designed in a laboratory to create specific sicknesses in people, then that might explain why certain drugs are working against it. Also, they've used drugs that

are administered to people with HIV. But why? Because there's HIV and coronavirus. Right. There are logical answers to a lot of the things that we have heard in the past year. And so the public just needs to come to grips with the fact that we're in a biological war at this point. So this other Chinese official, Victor Gao, is it Gao?

Is that the pronunciation? Yes, sir. He used to be the translator for Xi Jinping. Deng Xiaoping. Deng Xiaoping. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I said Xi.

So he did an interview, and he made some pretty raw statements about what China should be doing to the West. Well, first of all, he called Australians brainless for entering into this deal with the United States and the U.K. because basically, and we'll play the clip here in just a moment, basically said, you just made yourselves a target, Australia. You just put a big bullseye. You just put a big bullseye, you just put a big missile scope on you because of this. And there were a couple of quotes out of that article, Rick, that really just stood out to me. One is, if the United States fire any single shot, you, the Australians, will have no choice but to fight together, Gow said, in

Afghanistan, in Korea, in Iraq, wherever the Americans find themselves in a war, the Australians are on the American side as if the Australians do not have any brain power left, as if you only have your muscles. So basically, he's calling the Australians brainless in this deal. You're just the muscle for the United States and the UK. Another item that he brought up regarding Taiwan, he said, listen to me, the reunification of Taiwan will happen by peaceful means, preferably, and by non-peaceful means if necessary. No country will be able to deprive China's mission of national reunification. If the Australian government wants to stand in the way of that, be my guest, you will see what will be the consequences to Australia.

So obviously, and we'll play a clip here in just a moment. There are definitely he's definitely a mouthpiece for China. All right. And that is going to be apparent in this interview that he does. But the fact that he is a mouthpiece for China should cause us to sit up straight in our chairs and listen very carefully because they're laying out the plan of what's going on in that part of the world. We've seen it with the Global Times newspaper. Now, Mr. Gao. Yes. And then also the article that we just talked about a little bit earlier. So three times in the past week, China has sent out a message.

We're prepared to fight. Yes. And that that preparation includes a willingness to use first strike nuclear capability. And our own military is aware that China is ramping up toward that. Well, here's that cut from ABC Australia for their China report special that they do on a weekly basis. And this is China expert Victor Gao. He's the chairman for the Center for China and Globalization. And so that tells you a lot right there. But listen to carefully to what he says here as it relates to Australia being a target. Victor Gao is the vice president of the Center for China and Globalization

and chair professor of Suchao University in China. He was also once a translator for the former Chinese leader, Deng Xiaoping. He joins me now from Beijing. It's nice to have you with us. I wanted to, first of all, just get your view

on how you saw this submarine announcement. Well, first of all, up to this point, Australia is part of the nuclear-free South Pacific. And I think this is actually a great value

to the people in Australia. Now, armed with nuclear submarine to be produced locally in Australia, unfortunately, Australia and the Australians will lose that privileged status. Meaning, armed with nuclear submarine, Australia itself will be a target for possible nuclear attacks in the future. Can I just stop you there? Can I just stop you there, Victor? Australia will be a target for nuclear attack from whom? You do not need to know whom it will be. But as a logic, no one wants to target any nuclear free zone, which now includes Australia. Australia has said it will not be carrying nuclear weapons.

These are nuclear-powered submarines, as indeed China has. But we're not talking about nuclear weapons. So how is it a target? Listen, do you really believe you can trust what Washington or even what London say? I would say the watershed moment will be if Australia is armed with nuclear submarines to be locally produced in Australia,

Australia will lose that privilege of not being targeted with nuclear weapons by other countries. And that should be the wake-up call for the Australians, the 23 million Australians. Do you really want to be a target in a possible nuclear war? And that should be the wake up call for the Australians, the 23 million Australians. Do you really want to be a target in a possible nuclear war or you want to be free from nuclear menace going forward? And, you know, the several times the commentator pressed Mr. Gao on who is this person that who is this group, this country that will target Australia?

He never says China, never the whole entire time, never says China. He's asked him five times in the interview, but it's apparent who he means, of course, he means China. And he's making it very clear right now, Australia is not a target of any kind, but by them moving into this nuclear agreement with the United Kingdom and the United States, they have made themselves a target. They have moved into the target zone now. Yeah. Doc, it's becoming more, it's just becoming more evident

how close we're getting to that nuclear war. And I've seen it coming for decades. It's the reason I'm here day after day after day. It's like there's another soul out there. Maybe today we'll leave one more soul to Christ. One more soul. That's the reason I come here, because of a vision that I had in 1998 and a dream that my daughter had that night.

That's the reason I've been here since 1998. It's because there is a global war coming that will use nuclear weapons and vast multitudes of people are going to perish, and many of them will be unsaved. So be aware of the lateness of the hour, where we're at right now. And be aware how quickly things could change, too. For instance, today we saw this article that popped up. This is from the Express in the U.K. So this is official in China, Rick, that now they stepped this up.

They said, Australian troops brutally killed prisoners of war and civilians by shooting or throat-sledding in Afghanistan. Truth has come to light, but justice is yet to be upheld. Those who committed war crimes remain at large. Afghan lives matter. Australia owes the world an explanation. And so now there's a new level of tension that has arisen between China and Australia. China now making Australia evil and saying it's the bad guy.

Look at the bad things they did in Afghanistan. Mr. Zell, I don't know who he is, this China government official. He's accusing Australia of slitting the throats of Afghan citizens. Yes. And he calls them war criminals, which this indicates China is prepared to openly accuse Australia of war crimes. Right. And go before the International Criminal Court and demand that Australian officials be arrested.

Mr. Lejean is not just a commentator or someone in a think tank. He's a spokesperson for the foreign ministry. Oh. So that's at a whole other level there. So they're cranking this up. So basically China says, you want to play hardball? Okay. We'll play your game with you.

Remember the throat she slit the prisoners of war in Afghanistan, Australia? Oh, man. You really want to take this up? Hey, let's jump down to number 10. Got a couple of minutes before we take a break. Evergrande chairman seeks to soothe Chinese investors as payment looms. This is the Straits Times in Singapore. And analysts say a default on its bonds may be the final blow and Evergrande groups fight to stay afloat. They missed their payment today, interest payment, $83.5 million bond interest payment was due today. They missed it. And this is on a two billion dollar bond.

Next week, a forty seven and a half million dollar interest payment is due. So they have after they missed the payments. Thirty days later, the bonds are declared in default. So they missed a payment today most likely they're going to miss one next week right so what we can say is 30 days from today they will be declared in default that's when I think you start to see the collapse of Evergrande and we could see a Lehman Brothers moment take place again that sweeps around the world, banks teetering on collapse. Be ready. The next 30 days, just be

Hey, before we get into the COVID news, I want to look at the Washington Post article. This was number 12 from our first set. I just wanted to mention this. Biden White House leans towards releasing

information about Trump and January 6th attacks setting off legal and political showdowns. What this is about is the Democrats in the House and the Senate are demanding access to Trump White House presidential documents, schedules, memos, communications. What did President Trump say that day inside the White House? What did the chief of staff and the various White House officials, what did they say? What did they write? Where were they at each minute of the day? And they're building a case. Obviously, Donald Trump is fighting this request. He's claiming executive privilege. But here's the issue. Can a former president claim executive privilege? A sitting president can claim executive privilege of his documents.

But what about a what about a former president? And what do you do with a sitting president, Mr. Biden, who says there is no executive privilege? I'm releasing it. Is there any precedent? No. Or this? No, it's never happened before. Well, so if we take that back to well, there wouldn't be any Anything that we could say I'm trying to think of any incident in the past where a former president could say well I want to use executive privilege on that. But like Kerry said there is no precedent for that is there isn't so this is a this is a big issue it's a You know, it's not known yet which way Joe Biden is leaning but the Democrats are demanding that they have access to those documents. So they're making they're still pounding the insurrection drums.

Right. And here's the reason. It's the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution. That's the reason. That's why the media and the Democrats have talked about insurrection since January 6th. It was a mob. It was an insurrection. It was a mob. It was unruly people that started going places in the Capitol they didn't belong. Most of them were just walking through the Capitol building. Open doors.

Yes. Walking between velvet ropes. Yes. Walking between velvet ropes. Yes. The reason that the media and the Democrats talk insurrection is because the 14th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified after the Civil War. Yes. the U.S. Congress authority to pass legislation, take actions to deal with insurrectionists in the Confederacy. Because, I mean, we're talking just years after the Civil War. Right. And they wanted to make sure that the people in the South who started the Civil War, who participated in the Civil War, that they were legally contained,

that they would not be able to take any action. And so when Joe Biden said, he's going to remove governors who are in his way, how's he going to do that? He's going to use the 14th Amendment, declare like Ron DeSantis an insurrectionist. So they just need one wedge into the wall first, don't they? Yes.

If they can just get that one wedge into it, they can use it for others as well. So if they can brand Ron DeSantis an insurrectionist, Greg Abbott of Texas, he's an insurrectionist. Greg Abbott of Texas. He's an insurrectionist. Let's say that Greg Abbott orders Texas law enforcement to stop the Haitians that are coming into the state. I mean, that's a whole other story. I mean, have you seen the photographs of that? Yes. They look like Haiti.

Yes. If you've been to Haiti, Haiti has moved to Texas. But what if Greg Abbott orders Texas law enforcement or the National Guard to physically stop the illegal immigrant invasion? Which I would think they have a right to do. But Nancy Pelosi would say this is insurrection against the federal government. Wow. Pelosi would say this is insurrection against the federal government. You are defying the federal government. The federal government determines immigration policy. And Greg Abbott is an insurrectionist.

We demand that the White House send U.S. Marshals to Austin and remove that insurrectionist from the governor's office. And you know how they could get the other states too? Because think of this. Florida, South Dakota, several states have sent law enforcement and National Guard personnel to help Texas out. Yes. So they're. Oh, man. You see, that's the reason they're talking insurrection.

It's a dirty pool. Well, they want another civil war. It is. Okay. But they want to civil war. Yes. Okay. But they want to win it before it begins. That's that. But keep in mind, you got China, Evergrande collapsing, most likely late October. We don't know where this is going by late October.

This Friday, the Arizona State Senate, tomorrow, the Arizona State Senate is going to release the audit of the election in Maricopa County. Which will likely say there's fraud. Yes. So what impact will that have? Well, we'll be here to tell you all about it tomorrow. All right. Hey, one other question about the Haitian invasion. The last time I looked at a map.

I was just going to go there, Rick. The last time I looked at a map, the Caribbean Sea separates Haiti from Texas. How'd they get there? Did they walk? Del Rio is a long way from Haiti. Did they walk on water? And Florida is a lot closer to Haiti than Texas is, a lot closer. Why do I think the Soros chartered airline has been flying them from Port-au-Prince? Well, maybe we could ask

Reverend Al Sharpton. He's in Haiti this week, Rick, arranging airline transport for Haitians. And so I don't know where they're going, but they're getting out of Haiti. Maybe they're going to Texas. They didn't walk, did they? No. Nobody's answered that question. They even have a map that shows how far it is from Haiti to South Texas. The insurrectionists are the Democrats.

They're worse than insurrectionists. They're seditionists. They are. They're revolutionaries. They're old fashioned communist revolutionaries that are trying to cause the country to collapse. All right. Let's get into COVID crazy. COVID crazy news. New York Post foreign workers could replace New York unvaccinated hospital and nursing home staffers. Doc, tell me this isn't true. Well, it actually did come out of her mouth. Did he miss Cuomo yet, Rick?

And so she actually made this announcement. Obviously, New York, the state of New York is struggling to fulfill all the vacancies in hospitals and nursing homes across the state, mainly because of the vaccine requirement of workers. And so people are just saying doctors and nurses and health aides are just saying, if I have to be vaccinated to work, I just won't go to work. Well, they need workers. And so now the new Governor Hochul, she's saying, well, if Americans won't work, then we'll bring in vaccinated foreigners.

Wait a minute. The Americans are working. She's firing them. Yes. Because they're not vaccinated. Well, she's looking at foreigners because people are leaving the Empire State in mass. Listen to these numbers. More than 33,000 New Yorkers have moved to Florida in just 10 months, according to the Brooklyn Eagle. But the main reason, Kerry, that they're having problems in the hospital is the vaccine mandate. Right. That tells me how many nurses and other medical personnel have walked out. Yes, and said, we're done with with it or have been relieved of duties. And so or fired. Right. And so Governor Hochul is saying, I'll bring in foreigners. Right. Right.

You know, I'm going to punish these Americans that refuse to submit to the vaccine. Nazi needles. I mean, the needle Nazis. We're going to bring in foreigners. We'll give their jobs to people who are not even Americans. Again, we're dealing with revolutionaries to destroy the country who are pushing the country to the breaking point. Well, we have a clip of Governor Hochul making this. Wow. What an announcement it is. Let's watch. You said yesterday that you were looking into temporary visas for foreign workers to fill these anticipated slots that might be empty in hospitals and nursing homes. So what is that going to look

like? Where are these replacement health care workers coming from? What's the plan? Well, I'll start with the last question, see if I remember the first one by the time I get through. You're probably three and a half part question, Bernadette. This is something that we have to work with the Department of State on first, and this is a conversation we've already been having to talk about the opportunity we might have in freeing up the visa system to have some temporary workers come from places like the Philippines, where many nurses go elsewhere. I literally had this conversation with the Prime Minister of Ireland when we sat where I am right now and talked about, you know, do you have any, everyone I'm talking to, I'm saying, do you have any health care workers you can get over to us? But it is going to be a

Department of State approval process that we have to work through. So this will not help in the next couple of days, but it would be great if we could, and we're going to be continuing to find ways to adjust our licensing requirements so we can have out-of-state health care workers. They're going to have to adjust their licensing requirements too. In other words, you won't have to have the same standards for these foreign workers as you would for previously American workers either. And so all they're looking for, Rick, are compliant, obedient robots that will do exactly what they're told, not question authority, not question the vaccine mandates, not question the lockdowns,

just come in, show up for work, stick needles in people's arms and ventilators over people's mouths. That's it. Pretty much said it. That's what we have, Kerry. Kerry, this story that came out last night from Project Veritas, they have released another video, this one with a FDA Food and Drug Administration employee running his mouth about what he would do to the unvaccinated. Right. He's an economist. And, you know, it's hard to tell if he's joking here at times or if he's serious. But remember that

this is what sometimes American bureaucrats think of the rest of us, that we're trash and that we're not smart. Matter of fact, he asked a question if if they need an IQ test, if you fall below a certain level of IQ, you're going to get a shot. Remember the New York Times reporter who said at the Obama party that those people were a sophisticated, vaccinated crowd, elite. So after you watch this video, you'll see that he doesn't think the rest of us are elite. It's just some shocking things he said in this video. Yeah, let's watch this. Blow darts of J&J. Go to the unvaccinated, blow it into them, blow dart it into them.

I remember reading about how with COVID trials, they were having an issue recruiting African-American people. Can't blame them. They can't, but at the same time, like, blow dart. It's where we're going. There needs to be a registry of the people who aren't vaccinated. Although that's sounding very Germany. The Germany that you're thinking of. Nazi Germany.

I mean, think about it like the Jewish stuff. It looks like the FDA or something. Yeah. Again, low dart. It is the perfect answer. You were flight FTA or something? Yeah. Again, blow darts. It is the perfect answer. What's the country? It's framed in a...

And since J&J is an mRNA, you have no issue of it counteracting with anything else. So again, you just shoot everyone. Drums. Drone darts. Easy. How do we reach the minority populations? Blow darts is always the answer. Yes. I will cheers the answer. Yes.

I will cheers to that. Yes, cheers. Some people are like, oh the vaccine's terrible, it's the antichrist. They're like, yes, our savior, H.P. Menloff. If they start handing out vaccines, I'm gonna go door to door and stab everyone. Oh, it's just your booster shot. Stick your arm out. Exactly. What's in that? Oh oh it's just your booster shot stick your arm out exactly what's that oh it's just a vitamin c shot again if you're an undercover journalist you can't quote me again if you're an undercover journalist you can't quote me but we will film you yes um a a

homosexual needle nazi talking about using drones to shoot blow darts into unvaccinated people, even if he's not even serious about it. Right. That shows you how warped the thinking is in the left. Right. And again, once again, on the left, you can be racist on the left. You know, this was actually a very racist video because, first of all, talked about African-Americans resisting the vaccine.

So how do we get the African-American to submit to this? Well, we just force it on them. Blow darts, drone darts into them. And where are blow darts usually used in Africa? That's racist in itself. But he's going to use drones. Yes. Go ahead. I'm just going to say this is, but this is the way they think, Rick. This is their idea. This is their mentality that if you don't submit, then we've got to force it on you. We either got to use darts or blow darts or drone darts,

or we got to come door to door, knock on your door and stab you. That's what he said. He was all for it. How many others do you think that are working at the FDA? He works at the FDA. How many others think that way? I would say a lot of them, Rick, and they would be all for any of these policies. Yeah. He said, if you put every anti-vaxxer like sheep into like Texas and you closed off Texas from the rest of the world and you are like, okay, we just dealt with this pandemic. Number 18, Philippines plans to vaccinate 90% of the population before the 2022 election. What we're seeing in country after country are government officials telling the people,

when we reach a vaccination goal of 70%, 80%, 90 percent we will give you some of your freedoms back right and before it was 70 yes then they started moving the numbers up to 80 yes now the number is 90 so it was never 70 in the first place was but it's you will get we will be so kind we will give you some of your freedoms back if you do this right all right so so what it tells us, Kerry, the lockdowns, the purpose of the lockdowns was always as a means of punishment to move the people to submit to the vaccination. It wasn't to protect them. No, it was to punish them. So that by the after a year of lockdowns, the people would say, just do it. Just vaccinate me. Right. And without a lot of blow darts, I don't see this happening because only 19 million of 108 million have gotten both jabs. That's less than 15 percent. Yeah, but in other countries like the Philippines, they're moving towards 90 percent.

Right. And many countries around the world, they're in the 70 to 80 percent range. Right. Behind the line. So it's doing very well. Their campaign globally is doing quite well. Yes. And the majority, overwhelming majority of those vaccines in the Philippines come from China.

So. I'm going to jump down to number 20. This is News Australia, the videos, the protests that were taking place this week against the lockdowns. You're going to see in this video some Australian police officers talking to a protester. The protester is very calm. He's not making any threats. He's talking to the police officers. All right. So if you have a Bible in front of you, turn to Luke chapter 21 and set this up. The disciples, Jesus, you know, they come away from the temple and the disciples asked Jesus three questions. When is the temple going to be destroyed?

What is the sign of your coming? And number three, what is the sign of the end of the age? Now, many of you, you know, you already know by heart what Jesus said, but we're going to go through line by line. But that's not the key point. We're going to look at a lot of scripture just to get to the key scripture for the lesson. So, Doc, let's start at verse five. Yes, sir. Luke 21.

So Luke chapter 21, starting at verse 5. Yes, sir. Luke 21. So Luke chapter 21, starting at verse 5. And it says, As some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts. He said, As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And they asked him, saying,

Master, but when shall these things be? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and the time draweth near. Go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified. For these things must first come to pass, but the end is not by and by. All right, so these are the three questions. When will the temple be destroyed?

What is the sign of your coming? What is the sign of the end of the age? So we know what these scriptures are about, the end of the world. All right, so let's go on to the next scriptures, verses 10 through 19. All right. And still in Luke chapter 21, it says, Then said he unto them, Nations shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines and pestilences,

and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony. What is the theme? What is Jesus talking about here? Is he talking about the end of the world? Yes.

The end of the age? The last days? I mean, this is what he's talking about. The nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, famines, earthquakes, pestilences. Everybody knows these answers. He's talking about the end of the world. And he also goes on to say, Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate before what you shall answer. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gain, say, nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed by both parents and brethren and kinsfolk and friends.

And some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But there shall not a hair of your head perish in your patience. Possess ye your souls. So the message that he's getting across here is that as we proceed toward the end of the age, that there is going to be an increase in persecution, an increase against those who identify with Christ. He's still talking about the run up to the second coming of his second coming. That's what the theme is here. And there's all these scriptures.

Let's go to the next one. Verses 20 to 24. And still in Luke. And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains and let them which are in the midst of it depart out. Verse 2. in the land, wrath upon this people, and they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

All right. So at this point, he's answering the question, when will the temple be destroyed? Yes. That has nothing to do with the second coming. Right. Three questions. When would the temple be destroyed? What is the sign of your coming?

What is the sign of the end of the age? Those verses are talking about the destruction of the temple. That has already happened. Check it off the list. That happened in 70 A.D. when God sent the Roman army to Jerusalem and destroyed Jerusalem. Completely. Completely destroyed Jerusalem and destroyed Jerusalem. Completely. Completely destroyed Jerusalem and the temple. So that happened.

Jesus said, when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, run. Run. Okay? It has nothing to do with Jerusalem in the future. That's not the point of this message. Let's go to Luke 21, verses 25-28. And there shall be signs in the sun and in in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth, distress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring, men's hearts failing them for

fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth. For the powers of heaven shall be shaken, and then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh. Doc, is he still talking about the end of the world and the second coming? He's talking about the final day here. Yes. Okay, let's go to the next set.

Okay. And picking up at verse 29, And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon. I believe that's, let's see. 29 to 33? Yes. And upon the earth, distress of nations with perplexity. Actually, I think that's a repeat there.

Okay. And he spake to them in a parable, behold, the fig tree and all the trees, when they now shoot for it, you see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise, ye, when you see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of the world and the second coming? Yes. Now, let's go to Luke 21, verses 34 to 36. Okay. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting

and drunkenness and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all of them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore and pray always that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these All right, let's keep that up on the screen. Through all these scriptures, Jesus is talking about the end of the world and the second coming. Right. And then suddenly he just throws into the conversation, don't be overcharged with surfeiting, drunkenness, and the cares of this world. Where did that come from? Surfeiting is an old English word for gluttony. Gluttony. Drunkenness. The cares of this life. Worries.

So Jesus gives this long answer about the end of the world and the second coming. And he says, take heed to yourself, which means heads up, pay attention. What I'm telling you is really important. Don't miss this point. And what is the point? Don't let at any time your hearts be overcharged with gluttony, drunkenness, and worries, cares of this life. So we'll start with surfeiting, again, gluttony, which means excessiveness in eating food and drink. Yes. Doesn't just mean food. It's food and drinks.

I mean, that can be, how many Coca-Colas did you drink? I mean, were you gluttonous in how many Coca-Colas you drank in one day? Why, Doc? Why is he talking? I thought, Jesus, I thought we're talking about the end of the world and the second coming. Why are you talking about my diet? Where did this come from? This is an answer about the second coming and the end of the world. And Jesus said, when I come back, don't let me find you being a glutton and drunk.

And a worrier. And a worrier. We never hear this message from Bible prophecy teachers. Have you ever been to a Bible prophecy conference and they said, don't be a glutton. Don't miss our gluttony DVD. Now, usually they say, hey, we're going to take a break in the conference and go down to the buffet. And surf it. And surf it. But Jesus said, don't do it. These are three traps. And drunkenness, obviously, we know what drunkenness is. I'm not going to get into the debate about whether Christians are permitted to drink wine or beer.

But what they are definitely not permitted to do is be drunk. Right. Drunkenness is a sin. And that includes marijuana. That includes any drug that alters your state of consciousness. Well, what about pharmaceuticals? How many people are addicted to pain medication? Or mood enhancers like Prozac or Prilosec or any of those kinds of drugs?

Yes. He said, do not be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness in the cares of this life. He talked often about the cares of this life. It's in the parable of the sower. The word was choked out because of the deceitfulness of riches and the cares of this world. So he often talks about the cares of the world. He said, for as a snare. All right, let's go back.

And so that day, what is that day? The final day. The final day, the day of the Lord. The second coming. It's not the. The final day, the day of the Lord. The second coming. It's not the rapture. It's the day of the Lord. Forget the rapture. Throw that word out.

The day of the Lord. That day. That day when Christ comes suddenly, unexpectedly. That day will come upon you unawares for as a snare shall it come upon all of them that dwell on the face of the whole earth a snare is a trap yes it'll come as a trap and it will it's a trap for everyone in the whole world it's not you know not just our little corner here, the whole world will be trapped in this. The net. Yes. The parable of the net. The angels will pull in the net that's in the world.

The fishing net that I taught on a week or two ago, the net that's been floating in the sea of humanity since the beginning in Genesis, that net has been there and few people aware of it. But on that day, the day that the Lord comes back, the angels grab that net and they yank it in. And then the angels begin separating the fish. Good fish, keeper, bad fish, throw it away.

Good, bad, good, bad. They go through all of humanity. Man, you got to know that if you're a fish, you're hoping that you get kept, right? At that point, you don't want to be thrown away. You want to be counted worthy of being a trophy for the fishermen, right? That's right. And in that same passage right there that we're just looking at, it says, Watch ye therefore and pray always that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things to

escape those snares that shall come to pass and to stand before the son of man that pray that you would be accounted worthy and that's another thing too rick you'd never hear bible prophecy teachers talk about uh saying uh you know teaching about how you should live before that time yes they never talk about how you should live they say look for this thing look for that thing over there look for this sign or that pimple on the third head of the dragon they all these other things but they never say live right live holy that's right be accounted worthy and if you're living right, you will be ready on that day. Yes. You don't have to be looking for that thing and this thing and this event to happen and trying to figure out where are we on this Bible prophecy chart.

Just live right. Yes. You'll be ready. Do the things that Jesus Christ says you should do and you'll be ready. What is Jesus's definition of pure religion? Visit widows and orphans in their affliction and keep yourself clean from contact from the world. That's God's definition of pure religion. He didn't say you go to church every week, every Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night, you're on all the church committees and you do this and that.

That's not, no, that's religion. God's definition of religion is take care of widows, take care of orphans, visit them in their affliction. What does that mean? There's an old lady on your street, some elderly old woman, her house needs painted, her air conditioning unit needs fixed. Maybe she needs a meal.

God says, you want to know my definition of religion? Go down to that old woman's house and fix her air conditioner. Go down there and fix that door that doesn't shut right. That family that there's no father, take care of those children. Take care of the children. That's pure religion.

See, you're doing something today. But he said, don't become stupefied with carbohydrates and sugar and wine and entertainment and social media and politics and sports and business and investments and porn and all the stuff that people are caught up into. Don't become stupefied. Don't be smoking weed. There's a lot of you out there you're smoking weed you need to get off of it you need to be delivered ask the lord to deliver you from it do you really want to be high on the day christ comes back when you when you get raised on high yeah you won't get raised you want to be drunk on the day christ comes back. Think about it. Do you want to be watching porn on the day Christ comes back?

Is that what you want to be doing? The day he comes through the eastern sky and the lights go out in the entire universe and Jesus is here. Think about what you're doing. And he said, do not fall into these traps. Don't be living to eat, living to drink, living to just be satisfying yourself. And don't be worrying about life, how you're going to pay your bills and what you're going to do here and how you're going to take care of this. Trust me, let me take care of you. These are traps. It's a snare. And this is all a part of his answer of coming back on the final day. Hey, we're out of time. I'd like to keep this going. Do you want, I think, I think
