TRUNEWS with Rick Wiles - Chinese Officials Snub John Kerry as They Met with Taliban
Episode Date: September 8, 2021Today on TruNews, Rick and Doc look at the latest in the Afghanistan debacle, as four former Gitmo prisoners released by President Barack Hussein Obama take up positions in the new Taliban government.... While The Biden Administration is worried that the Taliban is not ‘diverse’ enough, China is making deals and recognizing the new regime in power. In the second part of the program, Rick begins an in-depth study on The Parable of the Sower, and how a clear understanding of this teaching by Jesus is key to understanding all the parables in the Gospels. I'm Rick Wiles.
Think back to the good old days of the Obama administration.
Remember those great times, Doc?
Yes.
The closing years of Obama.
And Susan B. Rice was the National Security Advisor.
Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. I mean, how can
you forget things like Benghazi? And then there was the release of four Taliban terrorists to,
in exchange for Beau Bergdahl, a U.S. soldier who went AWOL and hung out with the Taliban.
Right.
Kind of developed an affection for the Taliban.
Well, where are they now?
I'm talking about, let's put that back up on the screen.
The four, these four cavemen on the corners of this screen right now that were in
Guantanamo Bay that we that we traded basically for Bo Bergdahl yes yes Obama
and Susan B Rice negotiated the release of these four terrorists and now all
four of these are serving at some level
in the Afghan government right now.
It was a nice trade, wasn't it?
You can't make up news like this, Doc.
I'm beyond getting angry and beyond getting upset.
I'm not going to allow these people
to get my blood pressure up.
It caused me to become agitated.
We're so far beyond what should be normalcy.
There are no words to describe what's going on right now.
Those four guys are in the Taliban government.
Compliments of Joe Biden.
And who did former intelligence director Rick Grinnell say is really running the White House?
President Susan Rice is what he said.
President Susan Rice, the woman who negotiated their release.
Right.
She's still doing her dirty work.
Right.
She's still there in the White House doing her dirty work.
And while everyone should be concerned about terrorists, actual bona fide, I've been in jail terrorists, actually serving in the Afghan government.
What is our government concerned with, Rick?
I'm not even going to say it's not my government.
Or let's say the United States.
Their government. It's not my government. I don't know what.
No, they're concerned about diversity in the Afghan government.
Yes, inclusion.
Yes.
And the U.S. State Department issued a statement expressing their dismay that there is not
enough diversity in the Afghan cabinet.
That it's not diverse enough with the current terrorists that are embedded within the Afghan
government?
Not only is it an all-male cabinet, but there are no homosexuals in the cabinet.
Wow.
That just— There are no transvestites in the cabinet.
So no pride flags, no pride parades, no...
No, but there are Americans who are stranded there.
Most of them, most likely, are dead.
But the U.S. State Department has not issued a statement
about the death of American citizens.
They're upset that there's no diversity in the terrorist government.
How do you, why should sane people analyze insane people?
This country went insane.
We've lost, we've lost even the understanding of sanity.
Just those two headlines alone, Rick, should prove that we are at a mental illness level
here in our nation like we've never seen before.
It's mental illness. Okay, so yesterday, Adlai Stevenson III passed away.
That's right. Age 90, former senator of Illinois.
His father was the Democratic nominee for president twice.
Against Eisenhower.
Against Dwight Eisenhower.
And his grandfather was the vice president.
Grover Cleveland.
You got it.
All right.
All right.
There you go.
Adlai Stevenson was an old-. All right. Right. There you go. Adlai Stevenson was an old fashioned
liberal Democrat. Right. There is no way ever that an old fashioned liberal Democrat like
Adlai Stevenson would have negotiated the release of terrorists would have abandoned American citizens, just left them behind to be killed.
And certainly would not have issued a statement lamenting the fact that there are no transvestites in the Taliban government.
It was a different breed of Democrat then, wasn't it?
Well, they were sane. The insanity hadn't wasn't it? Well, they were sane.
The insanity hadn't kicked in yet.
No, they were sane.
They were Americans.
They were patriots.
They had a liberal viewpoint, but they were patriots, and they were sane.
You could sit with Adlai Stevenson and have a conversation, and it wouldn't be insane.
You can't talk to Democrats today.
They're insane. You can't talk to Democrats today. They're insane.
They honestly, what has happened?
God has turned America over to a reprobate mind.
An insane mind, if you will.
And reprobates, and I'm not saying this to just be,
I'm not saying it to be vicious.
I honestly believe it.
We're being ruled by reprobates. They've lost their mind. And there are so many of them now, they're in the majority to control
a government. It's really scary. I'm like, where do you go on this planet right now to get away from this stuff?
You have reprobates in control of nukes.
That's scary right there.
And that's what the Russians and the Chinese are thinking about.
Reprobates are in control of a nuclear arsenal.
So well, I'm not going to bring up Ivanka Trump.
Remember when she got passed in the legislation?
Oh, yes, that a woman had to be in every negotiation for a treaty.
Yes.
I forget all the different ones.
Who were they sending over to me with the Taliban?
Would Ivanka Trump go?
They would laugh at her. Of course they would. But the Chinese don't have any problems with the lack of diversity in the Taliban? No, they're quite happy. Chinese are
very happy and they have officially endorsed the Taliban government in Afghanistan. No surprise there. Town Hall is reporting that Bagram Air Force Base is about to
have new tenants. And this story is kind of going back and forth the past couple of days. I don't
know if you noticed this or not. Yesterday, South China Morning Post was saying that China has no
intention of going in the Bagram Air Base. Now they're saying that because the denial was so strong yesterday that
that's the reason why they're for sure going to be taking over Bagram Air Base. But all else being
equal, Rick, if I was the Chinese, I would go to Bagram Air Base. Of course. I mean, I've got a
deal I've made with the Taliban. There's $80 billion worth of military equipment sitting over in Afghanistan,
an already completed air base
with enough
runway space to land
the biggest planes in the world.
So why not?
We have basically
handed it over to them. Of course we did.
Because Joe Biden is owned by
the Chinese. I don't
know why people aren't outraged over the fact that the president of the United States,
who is illegitimately in the White House, is owned by the Chinese.
That's a simple fact.
His son was the facilitator of the deals with the Biden family.
Not only Joe Biden and Hunter Biden,
but Joe Biden's brother.
It's a family operation.
They've been in bed with the Chinese Communist Party
for years.
The Bidens are corrupt.
I never thought of Joe Biden as corrupt until,
I mean, I just thought, you know, he's a typical politician.
I never pictured Joe Biden as having enough business sense to cut major deals into billions
of dollars to enrich himself until Hunter Biden's laptop was revealed. And then as I read the documents, I realized, oh, Uncle Joe is not, he's not dumb.
He's slick.
And he's been slick for a long, long time.
And he has pocketed a lot of money.
We only know the tip of the iceberg of how many deals he's cut.
Now we know why he stayed in the Senate so long. Because he cut the tip of the iceberg of how many deals he's cut. Now we know why he
stayed in the Senate so long. Because he cut the deals. He cut the deals. He got the money coming
in. That's right. And money fuels politics. And he prostituted his son, Hunter. Part of me feels
sorry for Hunter Biden because I know his father made him that way. His father destroyed his life. His father used Hunter Biden's addictions to facilitate business deals.
He just burned out his son.
I don't think he cares.
I don't think he cares.
I don't think Joe Biden really cares.
I think the man was so greedy for money that he destroyed his own son's life in pursuit of that money.
It's sad.
But nevertheless, Hunter Biden should be in prison, even though he's a victim.
He's a victim who's carried out crimes.
Yes.
But the person who should be in prison forever is Joe Biden, who did two things,
orchestrated the crimes and destroyed his son's life to get the crimes done.
So Joe Biden is doubly dirty, doubly guilty. But his son is a criminal and he should be in prison. I mean, just because you feel sorry
for a criminal doesn't mean they don't pay time. There are a lot of criminals that you can feel
sorry for them and you know the true story of their life, but that doesn't excuse the crimes
that they did. And it's sad. But getting back um the reprobates that are running the government so
uh i'm going to show you a story this is from the new yorker this is last month
uh john kerry on the unfathomable stakes of the next un climate change conference
the planet is ready to end, Doc.
It's unfathomable, the stakes, Rick.
I mean, you can't even imagine the stakes.
They're so huge.
They're so high.
Yes.
Al Gore told him this.
Right.
There's going to be water.
It's going to be so high in the ocean.
All this is going to happen.
You know, water is building up in my backyard, eight miles inland right now.
It's horrible. And so John Kerry, the climate czar.
Yes. He's got an ambassador level status in the administration.
A climate czar. He's going to change the climate. Well, if you're against climate change,
why are you changing climate? Did you ever think about that?
And they also say it's inevitable. So what's your purpose then? Well, if you're against climate change, why are you changing climate? Did you ever think about that?
And they also say it's inevitable.
So, you know, what's your purpose then?
What's your job then at that point?
They said there's nothing.
Joe Biden the other day when he was touring down in the southern U.S. after Hurricane Ida,
he said climate change is here.
There's nothing we can do about it.
It's inevitable.
The changes that are taking place. The only thing we can do now is here. There's nothing we can do about it. It's inevitable, the changes that are taking place.
The only thing we can do now is respond.
Yes, and he also said that if the Congress passes his infrastructure bill,
the next hurricane, there won't be any damage.
No damage.
Wow.
What are we going to do, put a big dome on top of the country? I guess so.
Got to pass that bill.
But anyway, John Kerry went to China to negotiate a climate change deal with the Chinese.
Now, this was supposed to be a big event, right?
Huge.
The media has been pumping it up for months.
So guess what happened to John Kerry?
He went to China and the Chinese communist officials didn't meet with him.
They snubbed him. They made him do a Zoom call, I guess, from the embassy or his hotel room.
He did a Zoom call in China.
So John Kerry flew to China, and the Chinese did not meet with him.
No, they didn't.
But they arranged a Zoom call?
They did a Zoom call.
Were they busy doing something else for it?
Yeah, they were meeting with the Taliban.
Wow.
Think of that snub.
I'm thinking the level of that snub right there.
That basically the Chinese have said, you know what?
I think it's funny.
We are not even going to waste our time to meet with Ambassador John Kerry.
I think it's funny.
Personally, I think it's funny
that the Chinese just get out of here.
We've got more important things.
Go away, you clown.
They're saying,
we've got more important things to do.
We're negotiating a deal
for Afghanistan over here.
What are you going to do?
Yes.
And we just took Afghanistan from you.
You just gave us Bagram Air Base.
You just gave us $3 trillion worth of
minerals. You left your own citizens behind and you want us to negotiate a deal to save the climate?
Okay. And they're never going to agree to that. Of course not. Why would China do it? They haven't
agreed to it so far. Why would they change it now? What's in their interest to do it?
Nothing.
Why would they harm their economy?
Yes.
They're not idiots.
They're going to keep...
Americans are idiots.
The American political leaders are idiots.
And so you have these people like Kerry going over there and being completely humiliated.
Where's the news about Kerry being snubbed?
Oh, you're not going to hear that here.
There's nothing out there.
The Free Beacon is the only source that reported it.
There's nobody reporting it.
You're not going to see it in the Washington Post,
the New York Times, CNN.
Now, imagine if a cabinet official from the Trump administration had been snubbed.
Oh my goodness. I mean, they'd be grinding that organ grinder out 24 hours a day for a week.
That's right. But John Kerry was snubbed. Let's turn to Dr. Fauci, who finally is being outed as the criminal that he is.
He's a liar and a criminal.
I personally think he has committed crimes against humanity.
Well, the article that we had yesterday with The Intercept, wow.
If you read through the whole thing and go through it, there is so much in there and
you can understand now why people are really starting to wake up on this.
Senator Tom Cotton is one of these that, of course he's always been opposed to Dr. Fauci,
but this intercept article and this FOIA request of 900 pages of information that's been released has really fired up people like Senator Cotton
and others to really go after Dr. Fauci and dig down into this. Now, what is going to come of it,
we'll have to wait and see at this point, because it doesn't seem that at this point, Rick,
whatever evidence gets thrown out there, nobody picks up on it.
Nobody grabs it. No one says, oh, that's you're right. He is a fraud.
So let's go back to that story from Taos News Agency yesterday.
Sergei Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister. Right.
Speaking at the U.N., there's a U.N. forum about World War Two.
Right. So he said we're not going to allow anyone to rewrite the history of World War II. Right. And he said, we're not going to allow anyone to rewrite the history of World War II.
And specifically, what was he talking about?
Biological warfare experiments on humans.
That the Japanese were doing at the end of Unit 713.
Could the Russians know something about Fauci
that they want to bring out?
I mean, the whole world has suffered
because of coronavirus.
Fauci's fingerprints are all over coronavirus.
He is the father of coronavirus.
He gave birth to it.
I mean, he had a rocket, you know,
give it a bottle.
It's his baby.
It's Fauci's baby.
Just tell people, coronavirus's Fauci's baby. Just tell people coronavirus is Fauci's baby.
It looks like him. It talks like him. It walks like him.
He fathered the virus and he needs to own it and he needs to pay child support.
Because he brought that thing into the world.
And countless people have suffered.
The worst suffering I have seen from like this in my lifetime worldwide.
And will continue.
It will never go away.
Right.
It will never go away.
Because it works.
But it's been turned loose. Yes. It's out there away. Right. It will never go away. Because it works. But it's been turned loose.
Yes.
It's out there in the world.
It's never going to go away.
Fauci did it.
There ought to be a Nuremberg war crimes trial with Fauci as the lead defendant.
The world ought to demand that Fauci suffer the punishment he deserves.
And you know what I would give him?
I'd pump his body full of that virus.
There's your punishment, Mr. Fauci.
We're going to make you...
Or worse yet, the vaccine.
Oh, yeah.
And then we'll shoot you full of the vaccine.
Make him roll around in a bathtub full of the virus.
He created it.
It's his deformed baby.
And he needs to be hung around his neck.
He needs to be blamed for it.
And he needs to be punished for it.
That man should not be walking free today.
The whole world should demand that Fauci be behind bars.
No, instead he comes out and says,
you know, shouldn't play football. Shouldn't shouldn't go watch football game. Who cares
what Fauci says? I mean, who cares? Let's just call them what they are. Frauds. They're frauds,
but they're criminals. He's a criminal. He's a criminal against humanity.

Hey, welcome back to True News. Well, Doc and I were having a discussion during the Heaven's Harvest commercial.
Do we talk about more news or do we teach the Bible?
And we had a vote and it's two to zero.
Two to zero.
We're going to teach the Bible.
All right.
Enough.
Enough talk about people like Fauci.
All right.
First of all, I want to say thank you to all the folks that wrote us over the past several days
that have responded to the teaching
that you've been doing and everything.
I've had a lot of people write us.
Susan says you had over a thousand emails
in support of the Bible study.
And so a lot of you are, for the first time,
you were looking at the parable of the 10 virgins
and never realized some of the information
that was in there. If you didn't get a chance to watch those go back over the past
several days and look at them when you have the time it's all up on truenews.com and that way you
can catch up on previous episodes and so we're going to kind of shift gears a little bit today
because yesterday you mentioned something and caught the attention of a few of our viewers and listeners out there.
And that was as we were doing the teaching on the Ten Virgins, Parable of the Ten Virgins,
you mentioned the parable of the sower and how that was a key parable for Jesus.
And we've had several people that have asked us, what did you mean by that? It's a key
parable. It's not just a key, it's the master key. The master key, yes. You only can find it in the
book of Mark, where Jesus talking about the parable of the sower said, this is, do you not
understand the parable of the sower? If you don't understand this one, you don't understand any of the parables.
That's Mark chapter 4, verse 13.
And so just, it says,
if you do not understand the parable,
he said, and he said unto them,
know ye not this parable,
speaking specifically about the parable of the sower,
how then will you know all parables?
And so there's something very important
to learn about the parable of the sower
that we probably need to dig into and figure out, right?
If we don't get the parable of the sower right, we will get all of the other parables wrong.
Right.
That's how important it is.
Yes.
And I love studying the parables.
It's probably my favorite.
Yeah, you have, I forget how many books on the parables. It's probably my favorite. Yeah, you have, I forget how many books on the parables.
I love studying the parables because I've come in recent years to understand,
to see how much wisdom is in the parables, how much revelation is in the parables.
There are, a lot of the parables are about the end of the world and second coming. Right. But you don't hear sermons about the parables. There are, a lot of the parables are about
the end of the world and second coming.
But you don't hear sermons about the parables
when you, you know, Bible prophecy teachers
never talk about the parables.
And there's a reason why.
The parables contradict their eschatology.
That's right.
But yes, you're right.
They are about the last days generally,
the final day in particular.
So what is a parable?
Well, a parable is something that's thrown around like a parabola. It comes back. In other words, it has more than one.
A parabola. What's that?
It's like a circle that goes around. It's a loblong circle.
Okay.
But it comes back to you. There's something else on the other side.
So you throw it and it comes back to you. There's something else on the other side.
So you throw it and it comes back.
Right.
Or you cast something
besides something for comparison.
Right.
The easiest definition is,
it is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning.
Yes.
An earthly story,
meaning the parable teacher takes something physical of our world.
It takes a book. It takes a coffee cup. It takes a fish. It's a physical. A seed, a bird, or a tree.
Right. You're taking a physical thing, an earthly thing, and you're using it to teach a heavenly story.
I mean, you're doing an earthly story that has a heavenly meaning.
Spiritual revelation comes out of talking about something that's earthly and physical. And one other aspect of a parable is that it has a spiritual meaning
and requires, really, a spiritual person to understand the meaning.
That's the important part of it.
Jesus himself says that, and we'll talk about that here in just a little bit as well.
A picture of things seen to reveal things unseen.
Yes, I like that.
All right, that's really what a parable is.
So we're going to talk about why Jesus used parables.
Why did he teach in parables?
And then in coming days,
we'll be talking about a number of the parables
and particularly the ones that refer to the second coming
of Jesus Christ and the end of the world.
And when you consider,
when you study what Jesus taught in the parables
about the second coming and the end of the world,
you will clearly see that the dominant evangelical
Christian Zionist doctrine of today's churches
completely contradicts what Jesus taught.
Yes, it really, really does.
One of them is wrong.
Either Jesus was wrong or today's Bible prophecy teachers are wrong.
Which one do you think is wrong?
Today's Bible prophecy teachers, wrong. Which one do you think is wrong? Today's Bible prophecy teachers, obviously, all right? Jesus, you know, I would consider him an expert, all
right, on the second coming. All right? It's his second coming.
He would know.
But you have these people who will tell you, well, he didn't say this because.
Because what? What do you mean he didn't say this? I mean, they're teaching things that he didn't say.
As if he did say it. As though he did say it. And it's your fault you don't see it.
There's always a gap. You always have that there's a gap,
like there's a gap in Genesis, a creation. Whenever you hear somebody talking about a gap in the Bible, the gap is in their brains, in their mind.
Between the two years.
Yeah. Okay, let's start with the parable of the sower, Matthew chapter 13. We're going to start
with verses one, or you're at 3, okay.
I'll let you go ahead.
Well, and this is from Matthew 13, it says,
And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying,
Behold, a sower went forth to sow.
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside.
And the fowls came and devoured them up.
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth.
And forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth. And when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because
they had no root, they withered away. Some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up
and choked them. The other fell into good ground and brought forth fruit, some hundredfold,
some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."
So, I bet a lot of people right now,
so I know what this is all about.
I've got this old parable figured out.
Oh, good.
I used to think I did too
until I started studying the parables
and I got into a lot of old books
that are, you know, 100, 150 years old
and found out that preachers taught
different things than they teach today. And that changed my understanding of scripture.
Look, if you start studying Charles Spurgeon and Alexander McLaren and G. Campbell Morgan, and you get into these great old Bible teachers,
you realize what we're being fed today
is alien to what Christians were taught 150 years ago.
Go back even further than that with Eusebius,
and Augustine, and Clement, and others,
the church fathers and the insight they had
that these other men of God built upon.
And it really is a revelation to me, the depthness that we've missed.
That's right. We're very superficial today.
Chapter 13, it actually starts verse one, that same day.
It's a continuation of the story that's in chapter 12.
That same day, Jesus went out of the house.
And so he's in a house.
Right.
So try to picture here.
Jesus is at a house.
He's by the sea.
He's in a house.
He left the house and he sat beside the sea.
As soon as he goes out and sits down on the seashore, what happens? A crowd.
Right. The people see him. There's Jesus. He just came out of the house. Let's go down and
see if he'll do a miracle. Okay. So verse two says, great crowds assembled around him
so that he went into a boat and sat there.
Why did he get in a boat?
The boat was his platform.
Right.
He used the boat, the stand on to teach.
A platform is something that you stand on to speak.
And the reason why I did that is because there was a great crowd and they all had to be ministered to.
Yes. So today, when we talk about a platform, we're talking about a digital platform.
That those platforms include YouTube and Facebook and so forth.
But you can build your own platform. Right. And so that's what we have been pursuing here.
Build our own platform. Don't want to be on somebody else's platform.
Because we're witnessing now in the past year how the anti-Christ spirit in people that own big platforms are saying, get the Christians off our platform.
Right.
And so the only solution is to have your own platform.
That's right.
So Jesus needed a platform,
something to stand on to address the people. So now he finds a boat and he's standing there
and the whole assembly stood on the shore. So he separated from the people, teacher and students. And he told them many things in parables.
Right.
Now, what's significant here, Rick, is according to Matthew 13, this was a change in his style.
Up to this point, he had been doing direct teaching, direct teaching to crowds and also miracles.
Up to this point, he had not used parables. And the reason why we know this is down in verse 10 where it
says the disciples came to him and said, why speakest thou unto them in parables? So you
have to ask yourself, why would they even ask that question if Jesus had been speaking
in parables the whole time?
The reason why this was a change.
Yes.
It had been a significant change.
Up to this point, he'd been addressing everybody that would come along.
But now, something has changed.
That's right.
He is narrowing the focus.
That's right.
Let's go ahead and read all that, Doc.
Okay.
And the disciples came and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of
heaven but to them it is not given for whosoever hath to him shall be given and he shall have more
abundance but whosoever hath not from him shall be taken away even that he hath therefore speak
i to them in parables, because they seeing see not,
and hearing they hear not,
neither do they understand.
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah,
which saith, By hearing ye shall hear,
and shall not understand,
and seeing ye shall see,
and shall not perceive.
For this people's heart is waxed gross,
and their ears are dull of hearing,
and their eyes they have closed,
lest at any time they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart,
and should be converted, and I should heal them.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.
For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men
have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them,
and to hear those things which ye hear and have not heard them.
That's a perfect statement right there.
Yes.
Last statement.
So up until this time, as Doc said, Jesus had been speaking freely to the masses.
Right.
Everybody, you want to come?
Listen, I'll tell you.
I'll start.
I'll just start talking.
As his ministry progressed, opposition appeared. Right.
Primarily, not just primarily, 100 percent of it, the Jewish religious leaders.
They they attempted to shut him down.
The Pharisees and the Sadducees, two different sects in Judaism, they hated each other.
But they had a common enemy.
But they had a common enemy in Jesus so they could unite to fight Jesus because he was a threat to their power and money over Judaism.
As much as they hated each other, they had a system that worked.
Yes.
Sort of like Democrats and Republicans today. So they hate each other, they had a system that worked. Yes. Sort of like Democrats and Republicans today.
So they hate each other, but they've got a system that works.
So what were the Jewish elite doing?
They were sending spies to his meetings.
Right.
There's the reason, Doc.
That's the reason for the change in strategy. IN STRATEGY. THEY WERE SENDING, THE JEWS WERE SENDING SPIES TO HIS MEETINGS
TO CATCH HIM SAYING SOMETHING THAT THEY COULD USE TO GET
A CONVICTION.
YES.
TO ENTRAP HIM.
TO ENTRAP HIM.
SO JESUS CHANGED HIS STRATEGY.
NOW, GRASP WHAT I'M ABOUT TO TELL YOU.
HE DECIDED AT THAT POINT, HE HAD TO PUT HIS WISDOM to tell you. He decided at that point, he had to put his wisdom, his revelation, his
knowledge of the kingdom, he had to put it behind a paywall.
Now, what do you mean by that, Rick?
Okay, so today, when we say paywall, paywall's become a common method on the Internet where in the early days of the Internet, back in the 90s, early 2000s.
Back in the Stone Age.
In the Stone Age, yeah.
Everybody gave away everything.
Everything was free on the Internet.
Right.
Everything.
You just, nobody would pay for anything.
Nobody.
Everything was free.
Build up your audience as big as you can.
Give away as much as you can.
But then we started to see a change where website owners said, hey, we can't keep doing this.
I'm talking about in the business world in terms of the Lord.
I'm talking about in the business world. People start to say, hey, we can't continue doing this. Well, there are issues like cost and bandwidth.
Plus, you had attacks from competition and, you know, from corporate spies.
I mean, so a lot of problems. You have trolls.
Right.
Trolls are coming to your website, listening to what you say, and then attacking you, going to the government, trying to get you banned, going to platform owners, okay,
trying to get you banned. That's become normal in today's USA. So the Jews were attacking Jesus.
They were putting spies in his meetings. They were going to government officials saying,
you want to know what Jesus is out there saying? So at this point, Jesus had to make a change in
tactics. So he put up a paywall. Now, today, a paywall means a subscription. You're going to pay
a subscription. You're going to pay $10 a month. You're going to pay $100 a year. There's money
that exchanges hands. You've got to show that you want this information. You have to pay a price.
You have to say, yes, I admit what you have is valuable information and I'm willing to pay for
it to get it. I'm not going to take it for free anymore. Now, Jesus didn't put up a monetary
paywall. He put up a spiritual paywall, a disciples paywall yes he said if you want this wisdom that
i have you have to pay a price what is that price you have to understand the parables you have to
be completely devoted to christ and what does he say is devotion to him you love him more than you
love your family love him more than anything else your family. Love him more than anything else.
You have to show your devotion. And obey his commandment. And obey his commandments. That's
the paywall. That's the subscription to get behind the paywall to hear what the master really says
about things. So you had the freemium content, if you will, in the idea of him preaching to a
broad audience. So he had his general
message, the Sermon on the Mount. Which brought the people in.
All right. And that established the terms of service, if you will, for the kingdom.
And that set out, this is what the new kingdom is going to look like, the Sermon on the Mount.
So he establishes the terms of service. And then he says, okay, if you're going to enter
into this kingdom, because it said the kingdom of God is like these things.
So he's giving a teaching concerning what membership in this kingdom is like behind the paywall of discipleship, behind the paywall of obedience.
That's right. The parables are the king's own viewpoint of his kingdom.
Yes, I like that.
He's saying, I'm going to tell you how I see my kingdom, not how you see it.
I'm going to tell you how I see my kingdom.
My kingdom is like.
And then he gave he used an earthly story to convey a heavenly meaning.
And so now he is he has established the price.
The price is complete surrender,
complete devotion, total devotion, discipleship.
You have to come to him and say,
I desire all of you.
I desire all of you, Jesus,
and I am surrendering to you,
and I'm declaring you my King and Lord.
Please tell me, teach me.
I desire.
So when people did that, they had paid the price. They paid the subscription to get behind the paywall.
And then he explained the parables.
Once you got behind the paywall, he said, now you want to know what the parable means?
Because see, out in the public, he's giving the parables.
The people are sitting there going, what does this mean?
But those who paid the price, he said, come in the house, come in the house.
I'm going to teach you the parable in the house.
They're outside. He's teaching them outside. But it's in the house, in the Lord's house,
that he's teaching what the parable means. We're going to take a break. Be back in a minute.

I just want to tell you that a week ago, a Jewish hit guy,
one man guy paid, from what I understand, funded by Alan Dershowitz,
called Heaven's Harvest, called the owner and demanded that Heaven's Harvest stop supporting True News.
Yes.
And that guy got an earful.
I mean, the owner, Clayton Llewellyn, told him off.
Just told him off. Said, you mind your own business.
I'm minding my business.
If I want to support them, it's my business, not your business.
Okay.
I really respect.
I'm so proud of Clayton for doing that for us.
I wish more people would do it. But it proved to us that there are people out there paid to just call and harass people connected with true news.
Just as in Jesus day.
Yes.
As the Jews tried to hinder Jesus from teaching
and proclaiming his kingdom because he was a direct threat to them and he still is.
And they're still doing it today. Yes. They're still paying people to lie about people who
preach the kingdom of heaven. Nothing has changed.
That's why we're teaching you these parables,
because this is what happened with Jesus.
So as we, just before we went to the break, we said,
so Jesus is telling people, are you the public?
He's giving them the parables.
They're out there on the seashore.
They're scratching their head.
They're going, that doesn't make sense.
What is that story about? But for those who had a hunger, a spiritual hunger, I want truth.
I want knowledge.
I want the kingdom.
I want God.
I have a hunger for God.
They went to him and expressed that hunger.
And Jesus said, hey, come on in the house.
But he made it clear to them that, listen, there's a price to be paid for this.
That it's going to cost you something.
This isn't a casual thing we're talking about because there have been some who have been
given teaching that was taken away from them.
There have been some that won't receive it at all.
And so he was very clear that this was something that required a price on your part, a price of discipleship.
And he made it clear that the prophets themselves, they hungered to hear these truths.
They didn't even have these truths.
So Jesus is saying this is a whole new level of information that you're receiving.
The prophets, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Hosea, all the prophets.
They hadn't heard these things I'm about to tell you.
But they wanted to.
Yes.
And they never saw with their physical eyes what those people were seeing, the Messiah.
Right.
They knew the Messiah was coming.
They knew the kingdom was coming.
They prophesied it, but they didn't see it in the physical realm.
Those people were standing in front of the Messiah, the promised Messiah.
And most of them did not see him.
They had eyes to see, but they couldn't see.
They had ears to hear, but they couldn't hear.
But the Messiah, the Son of God, is standing there.
And so he said, the prophets, they went to their graves wishing that
they could see what you see. Or, and to hear what I'm about to tell you. Yeah. Let's go back to
Matthew 13, 10 through 17. There's a lot right here in this scripture. And the disciples came
and said unto him, why speaketh thou on the parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.
The purpose of the parables is to unveil to you the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.
But to them, it is not given.
Who are them?
To them, the people who are standing there with eyes to see and they can't see, ears to hear and they can't hear.
The people who don't have a hunger for righteousness, a hunger for God, a hunger for truth.
Those people, by the way, if you see on television, you know, a wannabe rabbi on Christian TV telling you that he's got a book of mysteries and he he can.
God has given him the answers to the mysteries.
You want to get you want to run as fast as you can from that person because God doesn't have mysteries.
Look, he says. Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven,
but to them it is not given.
If you don't know, you're outside of the kingdom.
Yes.
The people in the kingdom know the mysteries,
and you don't need a wannabe rabbi with a mystery book based on Kabbalah
to tell you the mysteries because God isn't
concealing anything from his people. Right. All right. So for who, for whosoever hath,
if you have to him shall be given. So if you have more is going to be given to you. But he shall have more abundance.
But whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he has.
That doesn't sound fair, does it, Doc? Well, in the natural, it doesn't sound fair,
but the kingdom of God operates on a whole different principle.
If you have a willingness, a hunger to learn, that's where you start at.
And God will give more.
He'll just build on that.
Sort of like in the parable of the ten virgins. They came with vessels prepared, ready, with oil filled up in there for what the journey was laying ahead.
They were prepared for it.
And what did we say about the virgins?
That the oil was the grace of God,
the grace that was given to them
by their pursuit of the Word of God
and by the pursuit of God Himself.
Grace was given unto them.
So the disciples that responded there
were the ones that were given initial truth.
They received the message that Jesus had been preaching here, Matthew 1 through 12 here.
They received it.
Because they received it and because they're willing to enter into discipleship, they would be given more.
But to those that chose to remain outside, that didn't respond to it, what little they had would be taken away, right? Yes.
You lose if you snooze. If you're
spiritually lazy, what little bit you have is going to be taken away from you. You won't even
know it as time goes by. You'll actually
decrease without your even
being aware that you're spiritually going backwards because you
don't have the pursuit to go forward. There's no hunger. Look, it's your responsibility. It's my
responsibility to be hungry. It's not the Holy Spirit's job to make you hungry. It's your job
to be hungry. It's your job to pursue. Yes. Yes. It's your job to be hungry it's your job to pursue yes
yes it's your job to pursue God
people act like
like well you know
it's the Holy Spirit he's going to have to
he's going to have to make me
change he's going to have to do this
he's going to have to do that no the Holy Spirit
doesn't do that you have to
it's your responsibility to be hungry
it's your responsibility to. It's your responsibility to be hungry.
It's your responsibility to pray.
It's your responsibility to pick up a Bible and read it.
It's your responsibility to go to church and listen to preaching. It's your responsibility.
You can't skip out on it.
And if you don't pursue God, if you don't pursue his kingdom, the little bit of knowledge that you have about him and his kingdom is going to evaporate.
Yes.
God's going to take it away from you.
Now, in today's socialistic mindset, that doesn't sound right because you're supposed to take from the rich and give to the poor.
But Jesus said, in my kingdom, the spiritually rich get more and the spiritually poor get less.
Doesn't make sense, but it's his kingdom, not our kingdom.
It's his kingdom.
And the parables are a picture of Jesus telling us how he sees his kingdom. And so those, the disciples are the people who received Jesus as their king.
And the public were those who either rejected him as king or were just indifferent.
Hey, let's go down and see what Jesus is talking about today.
Hey, I heard he did some crazy stuff yesterday. Man, let's go down and see what Jesus is talking about today. I heard he did some
crazy stuff yesterday. Man, he made eyeballs. He picked up mud, made mud balls and stuck them in
some guy's eye, some blind man. Let's go down and see what he does today. If that's your attitude
towards Jesus, then you're in the crowd that's just taking him for granted. And there's also
those class of people. You had the educated, the Pharisees and the Sadducees.
Both of them had the opportunity.
They knew the scriptures.
They knew the promises of the Messiah, but they had their own agenda.
Yes.
And Jesus did meet their agenda.
For the Sadducees, it was a socialist political agenda.
For the Pharisees, it was a religious agenda.
For both of them, they missed
out. There were no Pharisees and Sadducees desiring to learn about the parable. And for the Herodians,
it was about how can we compromise with the Roman government and just get along, just get along.
And we all just get along. Yes. So Jesus said, no, you have to pursue me. Pursue me.
Show me that you want behind this paywall and I will then teach you in my house.
Come into my house and I will teach you the truth of these parables.
Those who withheld their worship and devotion were prevented by God from seeing the truth of Jesus's divinity. That seems kind of backwards, doesn't it? Yes. They were prevented by God because they withheld their worship and
devotion of Jesus. Therefore, God said, I'm going to blind your eyes. So you can't understand the
mysteries of the kingdom. And that's go back to to the scripture, 13, 10 through 17, and he quoted Isaiah.
By hearing, you shall hear and shall not understand.
You shall see and not perceive.
God, because they chose to be blind,
God blinded them. Because they chose to be blind, God blinded them.
Because they chose to not listen, he made them deaf.
Yes.
But it was their choice.
Yes.
See, you can, spiritually, you can cross a line that you can't go back. I know that doesn't fit with a lot of people's theology today,
but I really believe that.
I think the scripture teaches that.
You can harden your heart to the point where God says,
okay, you want to be like that?
I'm just going to let you be like that forever.
You just stay like that.
That's a dangerous place for people to be in.
We've already talked about the parable of the sewers and the master key. Also, Jesus
three or four times mentioned the end of the world in the parables in chapter 13. There's a number of parables in chapter 13,
two explanations of parables, but in Matthew 13 verses 30, we'll look at the verse 30.
Let both grow together until the harvest. And in the time of the harvest, I will say to the
reapers, those are the angels, gather up the weeds first and bind them in bundles to burn them and gather the wheat into my barn. The parable of the wheat
and tares. But who got gathered up first? Who got raptured first? The tares. The tares. And the
tares went to hell. Right. And then you had the parable of the net and then the several other
parables that deal with the last days, all in Matthew chapter 13. So each one of these parables in chapter 13 build upon the foundation of the parable of the sower.
And that's why in Mark, which has the telling of this parable as well,
makes the statement by Christ that you need to understand.
To understand all these other parables I'm telling you about later on today,
you have to understand the parable of the sower.
That's the one you've got to know.
In other words, that's Jesus 101.
Yes.
The parable 101.
You've got to get that one.
You've got to get an A.
You've got to get an A in 101.
It's a pass-fail.
Yes, you have to pass that one.
When the parables, Jesus is talking in all the parables.
He's teaching about his kingdom in the parables.
He'll say the kingdom is like.
Right.
He's not imagining.
He's not saying, well, let me imagine what it's like.
No, he's telling you it is like.
And then he uses a natural object to teach and convey a spiritual message.
So in interpreting, first of all, all the parables are about the time between the first advent and the second advent of Jesus.
Right.
People really need to understand that part of it, Rick.
All the parables are about the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God.
They're not two separate things. The kingdom of heaven is under,
imagine a, a, a, like a rainbow, an umbrella. All right. That's the kingdom of God. And under that,
that rainbow or that umbrella is the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven is synonymous with
the kingdom of God, but the kingdom of God is the full manifestation heaven. The kingdom of heaven is synonymous with the kingdom of God,
but the kingdom of God is the full manifestation of God's kingdom.
We are in the kingdom of heaven now.
We've been in the kingdom of heaven since the ascension of Jesus Christ
after the resurrection.
And we'll remain under that rule and authority of the kingdom of heaven
until the final day.
Yes.
And Jesus is where right now?
He's sitting on the throne in heaven right next to the Father,
waiting for that call to establish that kingdom here on earth.
The kingdom of God, but he is the kingdom of heaven now.
Yes.
In heaven, he is a king.
Yes.
He's a king right now.
He's not going to be made king when he comes back.
He's already the king. He
returns as the king of kings, Lord of lords. He is the king of heaven now. You and I are citizens
in the kingdom of heaven. So when you see him talking about the kingdom of heaven and the
kingdom of God, the kingdom of God comes into its full manifestation at the second coming of Christ.
The kingdom of heaven is like a subchapter in the kingdom of God.
The rule and reign of authority under which we're living right now.
Yes.
Through his church.
This is why I teach that Christ is reigning and ruling now.
The Revelation 20, the thousand years.
It's not about a millennial kingdom after the second coming.
He's referring to the reign of Christ now on earth.
He's the king in heaven and he's reigning and ruling now through his church between the first advent and the second advent.
So this pertains to has no purpose after the second coming there's no sowing after the
second coming right because seed time and harvest doesn't exist anymore there's going to be one big
harvest right and that's it so that so when he talks about these parables it has nothing to do
with anything after the second coming but the whirlwind reign that we're living in now. That's right.
He's teaching us how to live in his kingdom now on earth
while we're in these physical bodies.
He's telling us, this is what you need to know
about my kingdom.
Also, throughout the parables, the figures remain the same.
That's key.
This is really, really important.
I learned this from G. Campbell Morgan
and his teaching changed my interpretation of the parables. Sometimes reluctantly I had to say,
Pastor Morgan, you're making me change what I believe i still remember the day uh uh once we i got that concept
in my mind after you and i had talked this was several years ago that the figures remained the
same it radically changed i was working a sermon of the uh of the parable of the mustard seed yes
i remember that sermon radically changed my view on it and it and all of a sudden it made more sense
than it had ever made before.
And I sat there that night saying,
oh, doc, I don't know if I can,
this is so different than everything
that is taught in the churches about that parable.
And yet I knew it was true
because I had been studying G. Campbell Morgan.
I was like, he's right.
He's right about it. Campbell Morgan. I was like, he's right. He's right about
it. You know, I saw it. It changes the parables. The figures stay the same. The sower is the same.
The seeds, the same, the heart's the same. If you, once you get that, it's the key. The sower is
Jesus. Yes. Always in every parable. If there's a sower, the sower is Jesus, right? If there's a sower, the sower is Jesus. If there is a field, the field is the world.
In every parable, you can't change it.
The field is the world.
And who owns the field?
The devil doesn't own it.
God owns it.
Jesus owns the field.
And this changes your interpretation of the parables.
Once you see that the field belongs to Jesus,
you start reading the other parables
and watch how fast.
Okay, the birds.
The birds represent the works of the devil.
Yes, that completely changes the story
of the parable of the mustard seed.
Once you see that.
But that's a whole other teaching.
You just can't mix and match.
You say, well, in this parable, this means this,
and that parable means something else.
Hey, we have just started our discussion
of the parable of the sower.
We will finish it tomorrow on True News.
We love you so much.
