Our mailing address for all correspondence is True News, P.O. Box 690069, Faroe Beach, Florida 32969. This is True News, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth,
so help us God. China is planning to launch thousands of satellites in an effort to
suppress Elon Musk's Starlink network. The aim is to stifle the service that provides super fast
internet service across the globe and prevent it from becoming a military threat. The move is a response to Starlink's unchecked expansion in the eyes of
the Chinese and SpaceX's ambition to use the network for military purposes, according to
a Chinese defense expert who has written an opinion piece published by the China Military Online News Portal. In the paper, Ren Wanzhen, a researcher at the Beijing Institute of Tracking and Telecommunications,
says that China needs anti-satellite capabilities that could disable Starlink's growing constellation.
This is a move to counteract the military dangers the system could pose, which he said includes tracking hypersonic missiles and dramatically boosting data transmission speeds for U.S. drones and fighter jets. is that China could try to disrupt Starlink by using a mix of hacking, jamming, and microwave
weapons. These weapons can fry sensitive components on the satellites, thereby rendering them
inoperative. Alternatively, China could build its own satellite constellation to stifle Starlink. This would involve launching a mega constellation of 12,992
satellites and surveillance and military capability satellites. Doc Burkhart and I
will have more information about this future Chinese satellite network later in today's
edition of True News. First, however, another close friend of
Bill and Hillary Clinton has committed suicide. And we'll start today's True News with this story.
And this comes from the New York Post. New details emerge in shocking suicide of billionaire Thomas H. Lee.
Doc, this is the second story in a matter of days about somebody close to the Clintons committing suicide.
Now, Mr. Lee, I don't know of any controversy involving Mr. Lee.
His reputation is that he was a good businessman, very generous, well-liked.
Yes, he actually started several financial firms,
one named after him that he left as CEO a few years ago.
And after he left that, he started another one.
If you're a billionaire, what would drive you to suicide?
A 78-year-old billionaire.
A 78-year-old billionaire. A 78-year-old billionaire.
I mean, you have enough money to buy your way out of any problem.
So if he's got a problem, he can buy his way out.
Right.
So what would be so bad that he's driven to despair and puts a gun to his head and shoots himself?
Well, in the natural, Rick, that's a question that we could speculate on a whole bunch of different things.
Maybe he was being blackmailed.
Maybe there's something coming down that's news.
Just being a Clinton associate is enough.
But on the spiritual side too, Rick, there are some people that a billion dollars can't buy you happiness either.
It's true.
And then there's always the possibility it wasn't suicide.
Right.
That it was murder.
And we don't know, but it is an unusual event,
especially coming on the heels of another suicide story.
The suicide actually took place a year or two ago, but the story has resurfaced.
But we want to take a look at this New York Post article.
So new details emerged Friday in the shocking suicide of billionaire financier Thomas H. Lee,
including how he was found in his office bathroom with a single gunshot wound to his head and his
Smith & Wesson revolver next to him, police sources told The Post.
Mr. Lee, who is 78, was discovered by a female assistant on the floor of the bathroom in his office
at the Fifth Avenue headquarters of the financial firm named after him shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday, sources said.
Now, the Uber-connected Lee, who was married and had five children,
was regarded as having one of the most admired houses in the Hamptons.
Bill and Hillary Clinton were frequent guests, and they would regularly stay there, the source said.
He was a graduate of Harvard University, and Mr. Lee was perhaps best known for leveraging a massive
buyout of Snapple back in 1994. He was also an avid art collector
with influential pals such as the Clintons, who famously holed up at his Hamptons pad
after the 2008 Democratic primary. There are many other associations with the Clintons down
through the years between Mr. Lee. So it wasn't a casual relationship. It was a close relationship.
Clinton stayed at his home often.
That's right.
Again,
just odd.
It just
seems like when you're
a friend of the Clintons,
your life's bad.
Sometimes bad things happen.
Bad things happen. And what we're referring to,
and we'll put up
another New York Post article.
This is the one we talked about,
I think it was yesterday.
Right.
Death of a Clinton aide
with Epstein ties
found tied to tree ruled suicide
despite no gun at the scene.
Now, we went into detail
about this particular story.
Mark Middleton.
Mr. Middleton.
And he had served in the Clinton administration
and had introduced Mr. Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein,
to the Clintons at least seven times out of the 17 visits
that Jeffrey Epstein visited the White House during the Clinton administration.
And the odd thing was that he did double suicide.
Right. He was found hanging from a tree.
Yes.
With a gunshot wound to the chest.
Yes.
With no gun.
Right.
And so then the report that the deputy filed said that there was no gun to be found.
Now, weird things happen in some of these stories.
Well, because a lot of people started asking the
question how could he shoot himself hanging from a tree now first of all he's hanging from a tree
and he had the uh wherewithal to also shoot himself while he's hanging well or did he shoot
himself and then hang himself we don't know but he was able to get rid of the gun. So they got a lot of people this week asking
questions. How could that be? Where did the gun go? How could he hang himself and shoot himself
at the same time and also hide the gun? So what did the sheriff do? Well, the sheriff has come
out and came out late yesterday with an update, a new report.
It doesn't say when this new report was generated, but it does say, and this is from the Daily Mail,
a shotgun was found near the body of Clinton aide linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
He had also texted his wife, found a perfect place for a nap before blasting his chest
and falling from a bench with electrical cord tied around his neck.
So he took a nap before he shot himself.
Well, he told his wife he was going to take a nap.
It was going to be more of a permanent nap, I guess.
So apparently, Rick, according to what the Daily Mail article now is reporting,
he shot himself in the chest, fell off the bench, and hung himself.
Okay.
That's even more odd.
Right.
So the sheriff said, oh, my deputy was wrong.
The report that he issued, his investigation, was incorrect.
He said that there was no gun, but that's not true.
We found the gun.
Well, he said a shotgun was found near the body of the Clinton White House aide who killed
himself on a ranch in Arkansas, the local sheriff is now saying.
Why did the sheriff's office release a report on a high-profile suicide and have such a...
Glaring hole right in the middle of it.
Yeah, why?
I mean, don't you think the sheriff reading that report would say, what are you talking about?
There's no gun.
Of course there was a gun.
Well, he goes on to say, papers released earlier by Perry County Sheriff Scott Montgomery said deputies who were called to the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, and this is number nine for control, an hour west of Little Rock after an abandoned BMW SUV was found there, specifically said there was no gun in the car.
Now, I thought that statement there was pretty odd.
Why would they even make that statement,
there was no gun in the car?
Why would a gun be in the car
if he shot himself hanging from a tree?
But now, a further set of papers has been released
to DailyMail.com that says a weapon, a Stoger 12-gauge coach gun, was found on the ground 30 feet from Middleton's body.
So he threw it 30 feet.
Well, I could see that the recoil after shooting yourself, maybe, you know, it went away.
30 feet? I don't know. Now, in the new paper, Sergeant Kenan Carter gives a detailed explanation of how he believes
Middleton, an aide who signed pedophile Jeffrey Epstein into the White House several times
during the Clinton presidency, took great lengths to ensure his suicide bid was successful
after writing a text to his wife saying he had found a perfect place for a nap in the sun. So apparently he
tied an electrical cord around his neck, then shot himself. So if the blast didn't kill him,
the wire would when he fell. That's the explanation. So he stood on a bench with a wire around his neck,
wire tied to a branch, had the wherewithal to put a shotgun against his chest,
reach, now think about that,
reach and pull the trigger on the shotgun.
Shotgun gets blown away, all right, let's say
it gets blown away 30 feet,
and then he hangs himself after the blast.
Only in Arkansas.
Right.
Only somebody connected
to Bill Clinton
and Jeffrey Epstein.
Right.
So that's why I'm suspicious
about Mr. Lee's suicide yesterday.
This took place yesterday.
Right.
And because he's connected
to the Clintons.
So you have to ask the question.
Did he know something?
Was he being questioned by any authorities?
What would drive him to despair as a billionaire?
He's 78 years old.
I mean, it can't be that bad.
And even Middleton.
I mean, Middleton, his daughters had just started college this past year.
Everything appeared to be normal in his life.
He was involved in several different organizations.
The ranch where he was found belonged to a group called Heifer International.
And what they do is they provide livestock for poor communities around the world.
They raise them in the U.S. and they ship them to different places around the world. It's a great
organization. And he was involved with that. That's why he had access to the Heifer Ranch.
And one of the caretakers there at the ranch happened upon Mr. Middleton's body. And so, but these two stories in the same week,
once again, I don't believe in coincidence.
Well, another mystery.
This is happening in Maryland and West Virginia.
This story's from DC News Now.
And it says, people in Maryland and West Virginia
find mysterious dust on cars
right so this picture here doesn't really do it justice and we'll show you
some more here in just a moment and they're asking the question what is it
that was a question a lot of people in Western Maryland the eastern panhandle
of West Virginia asked themselves and other people Thursday night into Friday
after they found cars and other items outside coated in dust.
Now, DC News Now reached out to Scott Bachmeier with the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies,
which blogged about blowing dust in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Bachmeier said that the meteorologists were tracking the dust layers that moved from the Great Plains over West Virginia. Bachmeier said it's all but certain that this dust layer eventually moved across the
D.C. area a few hours later. We have a better picture of some of the dust that was appearing on
cars. And so you can see some of the, you know, different spots there and everything. It's really quite extensive.
Yeah, and our viewers, when they see the video,
it looks like snow.
That's right.
It looks like snowfall.
So let's show that video that we have from,
this is from multiple people
across West Virginia and to Maryland
reporting unknown white dust.
That's number 18 for control.
We want to run this.
And this is what people were seeing.
So this is some of the different dust
on people's cars here.
And it's just over
all sorts of different vehicles.
This next video is,
you see the dust
falling. This is in West Virginia.
I think, so number 19
I think is the one that has it coming
down like snowfall.
Let's watch this very short video.
And so you see he's shining a flashlight through the air
and the dust that's falling, whatever the dust is,
it seems to me like it's bigger than dust particles, Rick.
It's almost like snowflakes.
Yeah, well, maybe it's from East Palestine, Ohio.
Well, and that's the reason why it's generated so much interest right now
because of the derailment and everything that was released in the atmosphere
after they did the controlled burn of the chemicals there.
Western Maryland and West Virginia is not that far from Ohio.
Right.
Now, these meteorologists—
East Palestine, if I understand, is there on the east side of Ohio next to Pennsylvania.
That's right.
And Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, all in the same region.
And days after the derailment in East Palestine, there were dust reports around that area too.
So that's why this particular story has generated a lot of interest.
Now, meteorologists are saying it's dust blowing in from Oklahoma and Texas.
I'm sure the EPA will be rushing to Maryland to check it out.
Well, they haven't been rushing very far with the Duremon, have they?
But anyway, we're going to be watching that story and see where that takes us.
Okay, the next story, this is what we were talking about in the opening,
the Chinese plan to suppress Elon Musk with his Starlink network. And this is number
20, South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. China aims to launch nearly 13,000 satellites to suppress
Elon Musk's Starlink, according to researchers. This is a really big development
because we have been reporting for,
I guess, the past year
on stories from South China Morning Post
and Hong Kong
that Chinese military experts
are very, very alarmed,
very concerned about Starlink. And they see Starlink
as a military threat. And obviously the Russians do. Right. Because Starlink was used in the Ukraine
war. So the Chinese are not going to sit back and wait on Starlink to dominate Asia. Right.
And what this is all about is that China is planning to launch just about 13,000 satellites to cover Asia so that Elon Musk's satellites won't have any space in outer space.
I mean, think about 13,000 satellites hovering over Asia.
Think how congested the skies are above Asia.
We're getting to the point where there's going to be tens of thousands,
maybe hundreds of thousands of satellites watching us.
Every single move that we make will be viewed and recorded by satellites.
And also for those that have been watching and listening to us for a few years,
this may be the beginning of the two internets, the dual internet world.
Yes.
And we may be right at the beginning of it.
Two new world orders will be on be right at the beginning of it. Two new world orders
will be on the planet at the same
time. We'll take a look here at the
South China Morning Post
article number 21. It says
researchers say China plans to build
a huge satellite network
in near-Earth orbit
to provide internet services
to users around the world
and to stifle Elon Musk's Starlink.
Well, the project has the codename GW, according to a team led by Associate Professor Zhu Kang
with the People's Liberation Army Space Engineering University in Beijing.
But what these letters stand for is unclear.
It's called the GW Constellation, it will include over nearly 13,000 satellites
owned by the newly established China Satellite Network Group. Zhu and his colleagues said in
a paper about anti-starlink measures published in the Chinese journal Command Control and Simulation
on February 15th. The launch schedule of these satellites remains unknown, but the number
would rival the scale of SpaceX's planned network of more than 12,000 satellites by 2027.
So Zhu's team said the GW satellite constellation was likely to be deployed quickly,
even before the completion of Starlink. This would ensure that our country has the place in low orbit and
would prevent the Starlink constellation from excessively preempting low orbit resources,
they wrote. According to the South China Morning Post, the Chinese satellites
could also be placed in orbits where the Starlink constellation has not yet reached,
the researcher said, adding that they would gain opportunities and advantages at
other orbital altitudes and even suppress starlink now listen to this next quote here the chinese
satellites could be equipped with an anti-starlink payload to carry out various missions such as
conducting close range long-term surveillance of Starlink satellites.
So you're going to have satellites spying on other satellites.
That's exactly right.
And of course, the Chinese are in the near-Earth atmosphere
where all these satellites are going to be hovering.
These are small satellites.
They're not big satellites.
Yeah, the size of a bread box, most of them.
Now, the Starlink network with over 3,000 satellites in orbit
is expected to eventually grow.
Listen to this.
I didn't realize this number until earlier
today, 40,000 satellites. And that's according to SpaceX. China's space surveillance and defense
capacity cannot cope with so many satellites, Zhu's team said. Now, the Starlink satellites
can receive data from the U.S. Department of Defense to plan or coordinate the positions,
and they are equipped with surveillance sensors to monitor the space environment, according to the paper.
The Starlink satellites may use their orbital maneuverability
to actively hit and destroy nearby targets in space,
the researchers said.
So basically they're saying,
how do we know that the Starlink satellites
don't have the same capability
to knock out other satellites as well?
So China plans to build more powerful radar systems
powered by new technology to identify and track Starlink satellites. And according to the
researchers, the radar and other detection measures would be used to update a Starlink catalog
that would eventually contain detailed data on every satellite.
Zhu's team said the Chinese government could also cooperate with other
governments to form an anti-Starlink coalition and demand that SpaceX publish the precise
orbiting data of Starlink satellites. They added that new weapons, including lasers and high-power microwaves,
would be developed and used to destroy Starlink satellites
that pass over China or other sensitive regions.
So what we're hearing here today, and you're hearing this for the first time,
if you're here in America, is that the chinese are planning to shoot down
satellites that belong to elon musk right that's what this is saying they're going to have
laser weapons microwave microwave weapons and they're going to either shoot down or fry thousands of satellites over China. Now this next story that we're going to
show you, this is from Nikkei in Japan. Japan could lose 144 fighter jets in a Taiwan crisis.
That is more than a crisis. That's a war. And this is based on a tabletop exercise
that was recently conducted in Japan. So, Doc, what we're seeing is Japan is now actively
planning to be in the war with China. And the U.S. is planning on them being involved in that
war, too. So the article goes on to say if Japan and the U.S. were to become involved
in a conflict between China and Taiwan,
they would be able to prevent Beijing's takeover of the island,
but at a heavy cost to their military personnel and equipment.
Think tank simulations are showing.
Now, the exercise they generated imagined a cross-strait crisis in which China attempts an amphibious invasion of Taiwan in the year 2026.
The simulation was conducted over four days through January 21.
It says the roughly 30 participants included former Japan Self-Defense Force officers as well as academics and researchers from Japan and the U.S.
So the war game pitted the Chinese against the Japanese, U.S., and Taiwanese forces.
The Chinese military established a command center for the Taiwan front capable of deploying all-air submarine and surface vessel capabilities.
The U.S. military responded by sending nuclear-powered aircraft carriers
and state-of-the-art fighter jets to areas in and around Taiwan. Now, in Japan, the prime minister declared a national
state of emergency, this is in the tabletop exercise, and agreed to allow the U.S. to use
defense force bases as well as civilian airports in Okinawa and Kyushu. And, Doc, listen to this. A tabletop war game conducted by Japan's Sasakawa Peace Foundation
showed Japan losing as many as 144 fighter jets
with Japanese Self-Defense Forces casualties reaching up to 2,500, the United States could lose up to 400 jets
and 10,000 American soldiers killed or wounded.
But according to the tabletop exercise, China would fail to seize control of the Taiwan island.
Now, according to the tabletop exercise, all told, China would lose 156 warships, including two of its carriers, along with 168 fighter jets, 48 military transport aircraft.
And that's according to the scenario.
More than 40,000 soldiers, Chinese soldiers, were killed or wounded in the exercise.
Now, Taiwan saw 13,000 soldiers dead and wounded in the conflict, including prisoners of war, lost 18
warships and 200 warplanes. U.S. casualties added up to over 10,000 people with the loss of 19 ships
and 400 warplanes. The Japanese Self-Defense Forces lost 15 vessels and 144 fighter jets, including F-35s and F-2s.
Japanese bases were targeted by China,
resulting in 2,500 casualties among SDF personnel.
Civilian casualties ranged from a few hundred people to more than 1,000.
Of course, all this is a tabletop exercise,
but the point that we're making here
is that the Japanese government
is now actively planning to be in the war against China when China invades Taiwan.
All right.
So Japan has ended its post-World War II pacifist position.
Right.
They're going back to the Japanese Empire position.
That's right. And the U.S. is bringing them back in. You and I were talking about this
story earlier today, and I had a question for you. All right, so this sounds like a devastating loss
for Japan and the U.S., a big price to pay in the tabletop exercise. It would seem to me,
why would they even release this information, Rick? I mean,
it's such a devastating loss, even though China didn't regain control of Taiwan in this story.
My guess is the Japanese government wants this information out because they want to
build the public pressure in Japan to support a buildup of the Japanese military.
The Japanese self-defense forces have been very limited since World War II.
Constitutionally.
Yes, because General MacArthur put that into the post-war constitution of Japan that they couldn't have a military.
So they have self-defense forces,
which is kind of like, you know, what, Coast Guard.
It's not an active military.
But there's a lot of pressure in Japan now
to get Japan back to where it was at World War II.
It's so unusual. I mean, we got Japan that attacked the United
States is now our ally. Russia and China that fought with the United States against Japan
is now officially our enemy. Everything's upside down, but the pressure is on politically in Japan
to build up their military forces.
And there's even talk of Japan having nuclear weapons.
South Korea is also.
That's right.
Now talking about acquiring nuclear weapons.
We're going to talk about it in the second half of True News.
If you're watching us on the Word Network early in the morning, good morning.
We're glad to have you here. We want you to know that True News is a one-hour program, and you can watch the second half at truenews.com or on the True News app. And I want to say to the folks on the Word Network,
if we're brand new to you, then please understand that we are a Christian ministry and keeping this independent Christian news program
alive and strong and going throughout 2023. We are the only source reporting every single day
on World War III, which started a year ago. Nobody else is telling you the truth. World War III is on,
and this is where you need to come every day to get the latest information on the war.
We're going to take a break, and in a few seconds, we'll be back with part two of True News.
All right, we are back.
Yes.
And we're going to continue our World War III report.
We were mentioning Korea.
Well, and for years, Rick, we've talked about the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Now we're talking about the nuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
I mean, that's where things are heading right now.
It's in the headlines of the South Korean papers now. Yes. Why South Korea needs nukes. So what's changed, Doc? Well, we're in
war mode now, Rick. It's time for war. We need a global war and we're going to get everybody on
board. Well, obviously, the North Koreans are ready for it. This is today.
Yonhap News Agency, South Korea.
North Korea says it conducted strategic cruise missile drills this week. So North Korea has conducted strategic cruise missile launching drills with the war posture of the country's nuclear combat forces clearly demonstrated.
That's according to the state media,
as South Korea and the U.S. held joint military exercises this week.
A subunit of the North's Strategic Cruise Missile Unit
fired four Wausau II strategic cruise missiles
from an area of the northeastern city of Kimcheok
in North Hamgyong Province toward the East Sea at dawn on Thursday, and that's according to
KCNA. The four strategic cruise missiles precisely hit the preset target on the East Sea of Korea
after traveling the 2,000 kilometer long elliptical and eight shaped flight orbits for
over 10,000 seconds to that period of time.
That's according to KCNA as well.
The drill clearly demonstrated once again the war posture of the North Korean nuclear combat force
bolstering up in every way its deadly nuclear counterattack
capable against hostile forces.
Now, this is the longest flight that they've had
with these fifth, these fifth
generation missiles that they've been working on, Rick. So this is significant. And so this is a
step up for them. North Korea said today that U.S.-South Korea war drills could be construed
as an act of a declaration of war. Right. And they have been
increasing in the drills. Yonhap is reporting this, as you see here in the headline. North
Korea is warning this continued U.S. hostility will be considered a declaration of war. Now,
the North Korean foreign ministry official on Friday warned that Pyongyang will regard what
it claims to be hostile practices
from the U.S. as a declaration of war against the country. Kwon Jong-un, Director General for
U.S. Affairs at the ministry, also called on Washington to halt its deployment of strategic
assets to Korea and combine drills with Seoul to prevent the vicious cycle of escalating
military tension on the peninsula,
in a statement carried by the official Korean Central News Agency.
Now, the U.S. should bear in mind that if it persists in its hostile and provocative practices against the DPRK,
despite the latter's repeated protest and warning,
it can be regarded as a declaration of war against the DPRK, North Korea.
I don't know how many people realize this, but the United States and North Korea are still
in a state of war from the 1950s. There's never been a peace treaty. There's basically...
We're in an armistice right now.
That's the legal term, I guess.
It's a break.
Yeah.
So we're waiting for the war
to get restarted anytime,
if we so choose.
Well, another story.
This is from Chosun Daily
in South Korea.
A nuclear U.S. aircraft carrier
to arrive in Busan next month.
This is a nuclear-powered U.S. aircraft carrier with a full
load displacement of over 10,000 long tons. 100,000 long tons. I mean, excuse me, 100,000
long tons is expected to dock in Busan next month as North Korea ramps up provocations.
The Nimitz-class carrier arrives as South Korea is conducting joint military drills with the United States and other allies in response to the North's latest launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile and short-range missiles earlier this month.
You know, Doc, it just came into my mind.
I've not told this story for quite some time.
I know we have new viewers who have joined us in the past year.
But in 2000, I've been talking about North Korea since 1998.
The Holy Spirit, when the Lord called me into this ministry, He gave me a
vision of America on fire. And that's how I got here. I quit my job as director of marketing of
Trinity Broadcasting Network in Irving, Texas. And I resigned my job
several months after the vision. I'm not going to go into the vision right now, but in the summer
of 1998, as I sought the Lord about the vision, the Holy Spirit gave me insight into what the vision represented. Okay.
Okay.
And one of the things that I believe that the Holy Spirit told me was that North Korea was going to do a surprise attack on the U.S.
North Korea doesn't have the capability of taking out the entire United States.
Right.
But they can take out Los Angeles.
They could take out San Francisco,
Seattle. They could take out a major city on the West Coast. That's a real possibility.
They could also do an EMP over America. They're capable of doing that, which is the more
deadly threat. But anyhow, I've been talking about North Korea since 1998.
And when I started, Kim Jong-un's father was running the country.
Anyhow, in, I want to say July 2004,
you know, this program started in 1999.
In our first few years,
we financially supported ourselves
by selling all kinds of products.
We sold garden seeds.
We sold shortwave radios we had all kinds of you know
prepper products and things like that uh but i i was wearing myself out trying to run
a ministry in a store at the same time right and. And we had a very small staff, I mean, extremely small,
and limited financial support.
And I was just getting worn out
trying to keep all of it going, okay,
without the help.
And I went home one day,
this again is summer, July,
I want to say July of 2004.
I went home, it was about 6 p.m. daylight, This again is summer, July. I want to say July of 2004.
I went home.
It was about 6 p.m. daylight.
And I went into my bedroom and began praying.
And I was just crying my heart out to the Lord.
And I said to the Lord, Lord, tell me what gift I need to have
that the people will buy
so that I can keep this ministry going.
So what did he say?
He said, tell them to bring me a gift.
I heard it very clear.
He said, don't provide them a gift.
You tell them to bring me a gift.
Bring the Lord a gift.
And...
That must have required a great deal of faith on your part.
It did.
It did.
And so from that point on,
we totally relied on the Lord to speak to people
and that they would obey the Lord
for their financial support.
The thing I wanted to tell you is that after he said that to me, the Holy Spirit said,
stop what you're doing. I was praying and talking to the Lord.
Stop, go to your computer and write a letter to the true news audience.
So I got up off my knees. I walked over to,
I was in my bedroom. I had a computer in my bedroom at my desk and I began to write a letter.
And I prayed. I said, well, what am I supposed to say? And the Lord said,
tell them why you're on the radio. At that time we were a radio show.
He said, tell them why you're on the radio. Tell them why you're on the radio. At that time, we were a radio show. He said, tell them why you're on the radio.
Tell them why you're doing this.
So, Doc, I started typing out the letter,
just pouring my heart out
about why I was warning people of nuclear war.
So you might think I'm just totally hung up
on World War III.
Okay, maybe I am.
But I've heard the sound of war.
I've seen war in my spirit since 1998.
I can't get it out of my spirit.
I can't get the memory, the vision.
I can't get it out.
I can't get away.
It's the only reason I come in here every day and do this.
Because I saw the vision.
I saw America on fire.
And so I'm typing this letter out.
July 2004, telling everybody, I was living in Texas at that time.
My home was in Granbury.
My home was out, I like to say the suburbs of Granbury, outskirts of way out in the country.
And I was surrounded by just ranches.
It just had longhorn cattle and coyotes were my neighbors.
And so I'm typing this letter out and I'm telling the True News supporters why I'm committed to this ministry.
And when I got to the paragraph about North Korea and I started to write, I believe the Lord has shown me that North Korea is going to strike an American city.
The Holy Spirit said, stop.
Go outside.
Heard it very clear.
I got up.
I walked outside.
When I got to the front door of our house,
I looked up in the sky,
and there was this massive mushroom cloud in the sky.
It was a cloud, but it was a mushroom cloud.
And my wife Susan was in the front yard tending to her flowers.
And she looked up, she says, oh my God, look at that, Rick.
It's a nuclear bomb cloud.
I said, I know, I see it.
We just stood there. See it.
We just stood there and watched it. I mean, this was unmistakable mushroom cloud.
So, an
hour or so went by. Dark came
and my son Jeremy came home. He was a college student at the
time.
And he said, hey, Dad, did you see the nuclear bomb cloud?
So he had seen it, too.
I said, I sure did.
He said, I was playing tennis, and I looked up and I saw it, and I told my tennis partner, I guarantee you my dad is looking at this right now. And you were.
I was.
He was miles away.
He said, I guarantee you my dad is looking at this.
Why would he think that his dad was looking at it?
Because he knew his dad's heart.
He knew the mission that was in his dad's heart.
To tell the people that there's coming a day North Korea is going to
take out one city. Don't take this lightly. And this guy over in Pyongyang says,
we are prepared for nuclear war. He's serious. And what I think
is going to happen, and I've always thought this,
Doc,
there will be
other
countries that will
use him.
They're going to use him.
Just like the United States
is using Ukraine,
China, other countries are going to use North Korea.
They're going to prod him.
They're going to provoke him.
Strike America.
Hit them.
If it's North Korea that nukes us, China and Russia don't get nuked.
That's true. that nukes us. China and Russia don't get nuked.
That's true.
But one or two or three American cities
could disappear from North Korea.
And suddenly life has changed in the United States of America.
So for me, every time I see,
I look at North Korean news every day.
Right, and I know you do.
And I know a lot of people say,
well, they're just hotheads, blow guts,
don't worry about it, they're always threatening.
Yeah, they're always threatening,
but there's a day they're going to pull the trigger.
And the situation with North Korea
is different than it is with Russia and China.
Russia and China, even though we're in opposition to them,
we still have some
diplomatic channels that are available to us.
And sometimes calmer heads do prevail at times, whereas North Korea could say, you know, this
is the day.
It's either we do it now or we don't do it at all.
And they're paranoid.
The ruling party, Communist Party, they're paranoid.
They think the U.S. is coming in to get them.
And when they make declarations like this this week,
where they say these continue drills,
we're going to interpret that as a declaration of war.
You know why?
Because they suspect that there'll be a day a drill goes live.
And so every drill, they're on edge thinking this is it. This is the day that they
invade. But we also know that the United States military and South Korean military have plans
to assassinate Kim Jong-un. And they talk about it openly. Decapitation strikes, sending U.S. commandos into Pyongyang
to assassinate top leaders of North Korea
to take control of their nuclear forces.
So they're worried that it's going to happen to them at some point.
Regarding your letter that the Lord had you write
about what the purpose of true news was,
is that just as pertinent today as it was then? Absolutely. Absolutely. It's why I talk every
single day telling people what's happening and that you need to be under the blood of Christ. That's all I can tell you.
In the early days, Doc, I told people that the Lord would protect us as Americans.
He'd protect us.
And even if there were attacks on the country, he would protect the Christians.
I no longer can make that promise.
Because I don't think it's realistic in a nuclear war.
I think you have to be prepared to die.
And so the more mature approach is to tell people
we're living in dangerous times,
perilous times.
All of us
could be evaporated at any moment.
And if you aren't evaporated,
what's left behind,
you probably wish you were.
So if we lose our physical lives,
it's okay because we will instantly
be in the presence of the Lord.
Right. So that's not a bad thing, right? But if you're not saved and you lose your life,
you will be instantly separated from God forever. And when the day of the Lord comes and the great harvest of souls takes place,
those who are not saved
will be bundled and carried off
to the lake of fire
and there will be wailing
and gnashing of teeth forever
with no escape.
There's no purgatory.
There are no exit doors.
There are no suburbs.
They're not going to be partying with your friends.
No, no.
Eternal punishment.
In darkness, so dark that the flames have no light
because there's zero light.
There's no presence of God anywhere.
God is light.
And this is total separation from God. There's zero light. There's no presence of God anywhere. God is light. And this is total separation from God. There's no light. So even fire has no light. The darkness is unimaginable.
And that's the only reason I keep doing this show every day. And I ask people to support us. I'm
very grateful for the people who have stood with me.
Some of you have been with me since 1998, 99.
Some of you before I ever started a radio show.
And I'm enormously grateful.
Only God knows how many souls have been saved.
I've never tried to keep track.
I've never done that.
I've never had a tally and said 400,000 souls. I've never done that. I've never had a tally and said,
you know, 400,000 souls.
I don't do that.
That's drawing attention to ourselves.
God knows how many souls have been saved.
That's the only thing that matters.
And we will remain faithful
and we will continue to tell people
to be prepared for the worst calamities.
I hope and I pray it doesn't happen.
I hope we get through this very awful time.
This is a terrible time in the history of the world right now.
Extremely dangerous, bizarre, weird, dangerous.
I mean, when you put it all together,
the entire picture, nuclear war,
space-based weapons, man-made viruses,
genetic alteration vaccines.
AI. AI,
pedophiles in the White House,
the rise of militant homosexuals
in control of,
I mean, this is a bizarre time
to be alive,
but it is also an awesome time
to be alive.
Because that means
the kingdom is expanding.
The kingdom is expanding.
It's going into the front lines.
You better believe it.
We're on the front lines and Christ is coming back
and he will have a faithful witness on this earth.
And that's why we are making plans
to organize an international network
of Daniel 11 churches.
Now, I've not said a lot about it since I made the announcement,
but we are working.
I promise you we are working to get things ready,
and we will be rolling it out in the coming,
it's probably going to take me another two months.
We're building out websites and doing a lot of things to get ready for it,
but we're going to make a major change to organize Daniel 11 microchurches
in homes. We want people like you to connect with other people like you in your community
and start getting together in home fellowships and helping each other and protecting each other
and strengthening each other.
That's our major mission for this year.
We'll be telling you more about it in the weeks to come.
I got like eight or nine minutes remaining
and I want to give you the Russian World War III news.
So Mr. Medvedev, typically on a Friday,
he puts out a long telegram message.
And he had one today.
And this is number 59.
Oh, no, excuse me.
I want to go up to, before I get to Mr. Medvedev, number 56.
This is a Wall Street Journal.
This is an important one to note.
This is Wall Street Journal on Friday.
NATO's biggest European members float defense pact with Ukraine.
So Germany, France, and Britain see stronger ties between NATO and Ukraine
as a way to encourage Kiev to start peace talks with Russia,
even if Moscow continues to occupy Ukrainian territory, officials from the three governments said.
Let's just stop right there.
What does that say to you, Doc?
To me, it's that we're trying to figure out a way to get NATO in Ukraine.
Kind of like not a real full member, but kind of an auxiliary number.
Even while Russian forces are inside the country, they're going to bring Ukraine into NATO.
And the ultimate purpose is to do what?
Bring NATO into Ukraine.
And then NATO into Russia.
So that's the story today in the Wall Street Journal.
Make no bones about it. The goal for NATO is to eliminate Russia. That's where the end game is
for NATO in the West. So UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak last week laid out a blueprint for an agreement to give Ukraine much broader access to advanced military equipment, weapons and ammunition to defend itself once the war ends.
He said the plan should be on the agenda for to offer Ukraine kind of level two membership in NATO.
They're going to bring them in, say, the foyer.
You're not in the living room yet, but you're in the foyer.
Okay, you're inside.
And they can say to Russia,
Ukraine is now part of NATO.
And we're going to put
NATO troops into
Ukraine.
It's coming this summer.
Okay?
It's coming this summer.
I would say troops probably by fall.
Okay? The announcement will be in July or August.
And then the troops will start moving in
and the equipment by the fall.
And then it will be a pressure tactic on Russia.
All right, well.
Fight or negotiate.
See, the negotiations are coming.
And that's leading into this Mveta article.
The negotiations are coming.
But they're going to be hard-nosed.
This isn't going to be,
oh, brother, let's sit down and make peace.
This is going to be up in your face with a knife at your throat
negotiating you want to negotiate or negotiate okay well now rick you and i aren't the only
ones reading the wall street journal the russians are too and they've got to be looking at this and
kind of figure out well what is our timetable then? We know where NATO and the West are headed with this.
So what's our timetable then?
Remember I said months ago,
the phase that we're in right now
is both sides are going to play hardball,
maximum pain,
achieve maximum pain, achieve maximum victories, hurt the other side the most that they can
before the negotiations start. So that both sides will be bleeding,
both sides will be wanting this thing to end, but both sides will also be jacked up on
anger and hate and revenge, both sides. Because the Russians have said, we're not going to forgive.
Talking about the United States, we're not going to forgive the United States what they did to us.
And we know Mr. Biden's position, Victoria Nuland's position,
they're determined, and
Lindsey Graham, they're determined.
We're going to crush Russia.
So we're going to go into
negotiations
if we don't have a nuclear war
because at
any point this thing could just
explode, break loose.
I would say they're
headed for negotiations. They're probably looking
at by next fall.
It's probably going to be
that long until they start talking.
But I think
the Russians,
the United States and NATO
is going to,
they're going to have the knife up to Putin's neck.
Putin's going to have a knife up to their neck.
And that's how they're going to talk.
They're going to negotiate with weapons to each other's throats.
And it's not going to be pretty.
It's not going to be polite.
It's not going to be diplomatic.
Sergei Lavrov is not going to be there using diplomatic language. It's going to be a very hostile negotiation.
Now, when you read Mr. Medvedev's remarks today, that's exactly what he's anticipating.
So we've got a couple of minutes remaining, and we'll go through it. This is a scaled-down version.
His telegram message was quite large today.
TASS News Agency, Medvedev, says Russia will win,
but then an equally difficult time will begin. Right.
So it says in the circle,
Russia will win the special military operation,
after which some kind of agreement will be reached,
but the problems will not end there.
And that's from Dmitry Medvedev.
And a reminder, he's the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.
In his Telegram channel, he recalled that the special operation has been going on for a year now.
So we're looking at the anniversary now.
It is a year since our servicemen restored order, peace, and justice on our land, protect
our people, and destroy the roots of neo-Nazism. According to the deputy head of the Security
Council, there will be further negotiations that will become difficult and nervous.
First of all, because the formal participants in the negotiations on the part of our enemy are one,
and the actual leaders are completely different, he explained.
Medvedev noted that decisions for the Kiev regime will be made overseas by those in whose hands the
supply of weapons to Kiev and the allocation of money to maintain the remains of the Ukrainian
economy. The politician pointed out to the obviousness of the motives of the main enemies
of Russia to weaken the country as much as possible, to bleed it for a long time.
Therefore, they are not interested in ending the conflict,
but sooner or later, according to historical laws, they will do it,
and then some kind of agreement will arise.
And the natural without fundamental agreements on real borders
or on a new Helsinki pact that ensures security in Europe, just some kind of
agreement, he said. Now, you pointed out, Rick, that in the Telegram post that he made, he was
talking about the borders of Poland in there. Yeah, he said some borders may be pushed back, including Poland, which that was surprising and not encouraging,
because that says that Russia literally may be planning action against Poland. Or this, that when the negotiations come, one of their demands may be that Poland's borders
are altered to something pre-World War II.
I don't know where this is going, but Medvedev talked about moving Poland's borders,
and it could be, and I'm just guessing at this,
that Russia may offer Poland.
You can have Western Ukraine,
but we get, I don't know what it would be,
Northern Poland or whatever, you know?
We'll swap.
But it's going to be hostile. It's going to be ugly,
and he's saying this is going to go on for a long time,
and even after the agreement is made,
this is going to go on for decades,
talking about the hostility between the West and Russia,
that it's going to be a very difficult time
for quite some time.
These guys are not going to shake and kiss and be friends.
That's not what they're expecting.
They're expecting a hostile relationship for decades.
So that's what the Russians are saying right now.
One final story before we sign off.
This is number 66.
Russia warns NATO and Ukraine against adventurous steps in Transnistria.
Now, you probably have never heard of Transnistria before today.
I can't talk about it because I don't know anything about Transnistria.
Well, Moscow has warned the U.S., NATO, and Ukraine against adventures in Transnistria,
the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement. The department recalled that the Ministry of Defense recorded an increase in military force and equipment near the
Ukrainian-Prednestrovian border. We warn the U.S., NATO member countries, and their Ukrainian
protégés against the next adventure steps, diplomats said. Doc, did you get your college
thesis? Was it written on Transnistria as foreign affairs?
No, it wasn't, but I have a little bit of background on it here.
So if we can put the number 69 up for our audience here, where I'll show you, this is a map of Transnistria.
So what is Transnistria?
It's a kind of a, it's a breakaway republic of Moldova.
And it's actually occupied by Russian troops.
Russian troops are actually in Transnistria.
Some countries in the world recognize Transnistria as a separate country.
Most NATO countries, of course, do not.
But as you can see, it's kind of situated between Moldova and Ukraine.
It also gives Russia—
So Ukraine is to the east?
Yes.
So Ukraine's to the east.
Moldova's to the west.
And this is why here over the past few days, you've also heard the rumblings from the Moldovian leader saying that,
oh, the Russians are about ready to take over Moldova too, by the way.
They've been making those accusations and everything.
Do you know we have an employee here on our staff that lived in Moldova?
Yes.
And has been to Transnistria?
Yeah, we were talking about it this morning when we came in because the story had come up.
And he was sharing with me about his time there. But this is a story that
isn't getting a lot of play because nobody's heard of Transnistria. But the war theater could
be moving to this region. Right. In the coming weeks, we could be hearing a lot about big battles
taking place for control of Transnistria.
Right, because you have Russian troops there in Transnistria.
You have NATO troops in Moldova.
And what I'm seeing in the Russian press is
they're claiming that Ukrainian army forces
are organizing right now to invade Transnistria.
And I think the plot there, Rick, is to get NATO involved in the conflict. By going into Transnistria. And I think the plot there, Rick, is to get
NATO involved in the conflict. By going into Transnistria, there'll be a response from Moldova
or NATO troops for Transnistria. And this may be a way to draw NATO into the conflict. It's
an interesting scenario here. Which puts us back to the danger zone of this thing going nuclear
and not going to negotiations.
Hey, that's it for today.
It's Friday.
Hallelujah.
This weekend, forget about all this stuff.
Don't waste any time on news.
Spend the weekend with the people that you love.
Spend time with the Lord.
Be quiet. Go to church. Just do good things this weekend and don't worry about all this news. Turn
it off. Don't waste time watching videos and reading articles and doing just, you need some
time away from it. Because I'm going to tell you what, I shut it down.
I shut it down when I leave here on Friday night
and I don't look at it again until Monday morning.
Unless somebody tries to blow up a bridge.
Yeah, something like that happens.
I mean, the Crimean Bridge.
We'll know about it.
The Crimean.
But I used to just be at this 24-7,
and I just stopped that years ago,
and I said, you know,
I'm not going to let this stuff consume me,
and I'm going to spend time with my family,
with my friends.
I'm going to relax.
I'm going to study the Word of God.
I'm just going to be quiet
and be in the presence of God.
And I just encourage you to do the same thing. Just make
time for your Heavenly Father and watch what He does for you. He's a sweetheart. He really is.
And He'll do kind, wonderful things to let you know how much He appreciates you spending time
with Him. We love you very much.
We'll be back here on Monday.
God bless you.
Welcome to Morning Manor.
Jesus Christ is the living bread that came down from heaven.
Anybody who eats this bread will live forever.
Nourish your soul each weekday with Morning Manna.
Here are your Bible teachers, Rick Wiles and Doc Burkhart.
Well, this is the day which the Lord hath made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Hello, everybody.
I'm Rick Wiles, and this weekday television program
is devoted to making ready a people prepared for the Lord.
That's because King Jesus will return to earth
to gather his elect, and you and I must be
ready. And arriving with King Jesus on that glorious day will be his glorious kingdom.
And that kingdom shall have no end. Now, until the day of the Lord arrives, you and I must live in this old sinful world and it is becoming
more sinful, more vile, more wicked every day. And that's why you and I must shine brightly,
taste salty, and love everybody. That's my motto. And shine brightly, taste salty, love everybody. That's what Jesus instructed his church
to do. I love studying Jesus's parables. And no matter how much I learn about the parables,
there's always something new to discover. Our morning man of Bible lessons this week will be from the parables.
Jesus used objects in this world to teach us principles in heaven.
In the gospel of Jesus Christ, according to St. Mark, we must first understand the parable of the sower.
If we desire to understand all the other parables, this is what Jesus said,
and he said unto them, know ye not this parable? And how then will ye know all parables?
So in other words, the parable of the sower is the master key to unlocking all the other parables.
With that principle in mind, we will start our Bible study today by reading the parable of the sower.
And this parable is in three of the Gospels, Mark chapter 4, Luke chapter 8, and Matthew chapter 13.
The most complete passage is found in the 13th chapter of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, according to St. Matthew.
And Dr. Raymond Burkhardt is here to read the Word of God.
Thank you, Rick.
And so reading from Matthew chapter 13, if you've got your Bibles, beginning at verse one, same day went Jesus out of the house and sat by the seaside and great multitudes were
gathered together unto him so that he went into a ship and sat and the whole multitude stood on the
shore. And he spake many things unto them in parables saying, behold, a sower went forth to
sow. And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up.
Some fell upon stony places where they had not much earth,
and forthwith they sprung up because they had no deepness of earth.
And when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they withered away.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up and choked them.
But other fell into good ground and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
And who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
So that's Matthew chapter 13, verses 1 through 9.
I would surmise, Rick, that people watching or listening to our presentation
today, they would say they're pretty familiar with this particular parable.
Sure. We've all heard it many, many times. Doc, what is your definition of a parable?
How would you describe a parable? Using earthly pictures to,
using earthly substances to paint heavenly pictures.
There you go.
Very good.
Very good definition.
Jesus would use something, something...
Common.
Common.
He'd pick up something that the people knew,
whether he'd pick up a book or a fish or something.
He picked up objects that people knew, and then he taught a divine principle with those objects.
I've had people who misunderstood when I say this, but Jesus had a paywall.
Right.
And if you read, you know,
we know what a paywall is today in the internet age.
You know, for a couple decades,
just about everything on the internet was free.
Now, just about everything on the internet
is behind the paywall
where you have to pay a price
to get to that information.
But what happens with websites
is that they give you what's called freemium.
Freemium content.
It's free content
to encourage you to go to the premium content.
The premium content's behind the paywall.
That's where you're going to subscribe.
Well, I believe Jesus had a paywall.
And the parables, the parables were his way of his freemium content.
He would teach the parable. He would teach the parable.
He'd give the parable to the public.
Right.
But the public didn't understand it.
But he would invite people,
his disciples,
the ones who were after him,
he would invite them
to come closer
for the real meaning of the parable. And so when I say Jesus has a paywall,
you have to pay a price. You have to pay a price to get to the premium content. Now,
does that mean money? No, that doesn't mean money. Jesus didn't say, hey, for a hundred shekels,
I'll tell you what this meant. No, that's not what I'm Jesus didn't say, hey, for 100 shekels, I'll tell you what this meant.
No, that's not what I'm talking about.
The price that people paid was discipleship.
They had to make a decision.
They're going to follow Jesus.
It's going to cost them something.
Sometimes it costs them their lives.
But it costs them time. It costs them
in many different ways. And so in today's world, it's the same. If you want to know
as much as you can get about this Bible, this Word of God, it's going to cost you something.
You're going to get up earlier in the morning than you normally do.
You're going to spend time alone with the Lord.
You're going to be on your knees
seeking the Lord about these scriptures.
You're going to go to conferences.
You're going to drive someplace
to hear a preacher or a teacher. You're going to buy books. You're going to drive someplace to hear a preacher or a teacher.
You're going to buy books.
You're going to do something.
It's going to cost you something to get the premium content.
Right.
Because Jesus, when he taught in parables, he was teaching to the crowds.
There could have been hundreds, even thousands of people at a particular event.
But there was a smaller group of people
that sought the meaning of the parables.
And so it's much like today, Rick.
There's a lot of people,
they're familiar with the parables,
but do they really understand the parables?
Do they understand the meaning within the parables?
Especially when Jesus gave the word
in Mark chapter four, verse 13, says,
He said unto them, Know ye not this parable, the parable of the sower?
How then will you know all parables?
So he's making it very clear here.
There's something special about this particular parable, the parable of the sower.
The parable of the sower is the one parable that unlocks the meaning and some of the imagery of all the rest of the parables that Jesus teaches on.
You're going to find this an exciting opportunity to learn some new things about the parables that you have never been exposed to before.
It's a fascinating story.
And each time we go through it, Rick, I find new things I hadn't seen before.
Absolutely.
I've read the parables for decades as a Christian, but I would say for the last four years,
I have spent more time in the parables than any other place in the Bible over the last four years. I just keep going back to the parables,
reading, studying, praying, seeking more information.
Matthew 13, 13.1.
That same day, Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea.
Great crowds assembled around him
so that he went into a boat and sat there,
and the whole assembly stood on the shore.
Then he told them many things in parables,
and then he starts to teach the parable of the sower.
So this is the freemium content.
He's outside.
There's a crowd.
The boat is his platform.
We have platforms today. Platform is a very common word on the Internet.
We have platforms, social media platforms, Internet platforms.
And what's the purpose of a platform, Rick?
To stand on something to speak to a crowd.
Right.
So that they can hear you. So he used a boat as his platform.
I'm using the internet. I have an app. The app is my platform. My website is a platform.
The word network is my platform. We have platforms today. Speakers have always had platforms. And so Jesus used a boat,
but he talked to the public in parables.
Then you get down after he told the parable of the sower,
you get down to verse 10,
it says the disciples came to him and said,
why do you speak to them in parables?
Jesus said, it is given to you. This is verse 11. I know we don't, oh, do we have
it? Okay. I didn't know. Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them,
because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. but to them it is not given. Well, wait a minute.
Doesn't that sound kind of contradictory, kind of the reverse of what it should be, right?
Jesus said, it's been given to you, the disciples, to know and to understand, to comprehend
the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.
But to them, the public out there,
all those people out there in the public,
it's not been given to them. Yes.
God has not given them the understanding.
Let's go back and read the rest of that verse.
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given,
and he shall have more abundance. But whosoever hath to him shall be given and he shall have more abundance, but whosoever
hath not from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Oh my, that is totally contradictory to
today's socialist thinking. You know, people say they're, you know, a lot of liberals and socialists, they like to say Jesus was a socialist.
No.
Listen to what he just said.
For to him who has.
For the people who have something right now.
Will more be given.
Yes.
And he will have abundance. But from him who has not, even the little that he has will be taken from him.
Does that sound like a socialist?
Absolutely not.
Socialism says, let's take basically from the rich and distribute it to everybody else.
Make everybody equal.
Well, then if Jesus was a socialist, he would have said, for to him who has.
It should be taken away.
It should be taken from him and given to he who has not.
But that's not what he said.
What does this mean spiritually, Doc?
In spiritual terms, when Jesus says to those who have, more will be given and I will give abundance. But to those who have not, I'm going to take away
what little bit that they have. So what is it that they have? Well, he reveals that
previously up in verse 10 and 11. It's given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.
That's the half part.
Do you have that?
Do you have that understanding?
If you have that understanding,
more will be given to you.
If you don't have that understanding,
even the little that you have will be taken away from you.
Well, doesn't he want everybody
to have that understanding?
Certainly, he wants everyone
to have that understanding,
but at the same time,
there has to be a desire
to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.
So the burden is on the man and woman.
The burden is on the people.
It's not Jesus' responsibility
to teach everybody his word.
It is the responsibility of the people
to be hungry for his word. It is the responsibility of the people to be hungry for His word.
He will feed the hungry.
He doesn't feed those who are not hungry for His word.
Or that don't desire to know more.
That's what I mean.
There's no spiritual hunger.
Jesus Christ never puts a headlock on somebody and shoves a spoon in their mouth and
say, I'm going to feed this to you. You'll never see that. What you see is Jesus feeding the people
who are hungry. And so what Jesus is saying in the parables is, look, if you have a hunger for
my word, if you want to know about my kingdom,
if the mysteries of my kingdom fascinate you, and you get up in the morning and you want to know
more about the mysteries of my kingdom, and you have that hunger in you, I'm going to increase
what you have. If you've got it, I'm going to give you more. I'll give you more. And you'll be more hungry. And I'll satisfy that hunger. And then you'll be hungry for more. And
I'll satisfy that hunger. And I'll keep giving you more understanding of my kingdom until you're
abundant. You have an abundance of knowledge and understanding of my kingdom. But this is the warning. If you show no interest in my kingdom, if you start your day with
zero or little interest in the mysteries of my kingdom, and you're worldly minded, and you're
just thinking about, you know, your carnal pleasures of the day and what you're going to eat
and what's on social media and that's where you live,
guess what?
Jesus is saying,
I'm not going to give you anything.
In fact, I'm going to take away
the little bit that you've got.
And you will eventually become
spiritually stupid.
If you keep taking away
knowledge from somebody,
what do they become?
Dumb.
A moron.
Yes.
You'll become a spiritual moron over time
because you have no interest in the things of God.
Right.
How many people do we know
that have been sitting in churches for decades and they've never grown?
They're still in first grade, spiritually.
They're still in first grade.
And they haven't had a desire to move beyond that because they've got what they want.
In their minds, they would say,
well, I've got salvation.
What more do I need?
I don't need to know anything else.
All right, so I'm going to ask a question.
Here's the Bible.
All right, the Holy Bible,
Old Testament, New Testament,
Genesis to the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Be honest.
Be honest with this answer.
The Holy Spirit is watching.
He's listening.
He knows the answer that you're going.
He already knows the truth.
All right, just I'm asking you to say it to yourself.
Have you ever read the Bible
starting from the first page of Genesis
to the last page of Revelation?
Have you ever read the complete Bible? That's a great question. Okay.
Do you know how many people go to church for years and have never read the Bible?
Never. The only Bible they know is what they hear on Sundays from the pulpit.
And even then,
the Bible's getting less and less
from the pulpit.
That's right.
Because they're dumbing down.
They're dumbing down their sermons
because they know
to match the audience
because the audience
doesn't want the Word of God.
It just wants stuff
to make them feel good, motivational messages.
And this is quite the difference than even a generation or two ago.
I know that you are, Rick loves books and especially books by Christian teachers of the past.
You shared with me stories of people like Spurgeon and others that they would have meetings that would go on for hours.
And without microphones, without smoke machines,
without fancy disco balls and everything in the church,
they'd just simply teach from the Word of God.
G. Campbell Morgan, who was the pastor at Westminster Chapel, in the 30s and 40s, Doc, he had a Friday night Bible study in Great Britain.
Friday night Bible study.
This was in the 30s and 40s.
He passed away, I think, 1945.
Right. 30s and 40s. He passed away, I think, 1945. 5,000 people attended his weekly Bible teaching.
5,000 people attended a weekly Bible teaching to hear G. Campbell Morgan. And if you read,
if you have any of his books, and I've got, I don't know, maybe 25, 30 of his old books.
He didn't write any of those books.
He preached them.
He spoke them.
And there would be stenographers in the audience.
Remember stenographers, shorthand?
He'd have stenographers in the audience, and they were taking shorthand of everything he taught.
And then they turned that into books. And the depth of his teaching, the beauty of his
English language, the poetry, everything that he would bring forth. I can't write at that level.
And he was speaking it.
And people would sit there, Doc,
for two to three hours on a Friday night
to hear Campbell Morgan teach the Word of God.
And there had to be an expectation
within the audience itself
that they had to have some sense of biblical knowledge
and scriptural knowledge
in order to receive what Morgan and Spurgeon...
To follow along.
That's right.
Because he wasn't teaching at kindergarten level.
No, he was in some of these that I've read, the postgraduate level, really.
Imagine Charles Spurgeon.
Imagine sitting in his Bible class, what it was like to hear Charles Spurgeon teach the
Word of God.
Can we do this today?
I don't think so.
There's not much hunger for the Word of God.
As it applies to our teaching on the parables here,
these are examples of people that were seeking to know more about the Word of God.
In order to receive what Spurgeon or Campbell or Morgan were preaching,
they had to have their own knowledge of the Scriptures
that they sought out and everything.
And so part of the understanding of the parables that we're talking about here
is to dig in here and get an idea of what the parables were really teaching.
And that is to provide a gateway for those that
truly desire to know about the kingdom of God to find that doorway in.
That's right. The central thing that we're seeking is not knowledge of the word. The
central thing that we're seeking is knowledge of the king.
It's the hunger to know the king.
The hunger to know his heart.
Yes.
The hunger to know his ways.
That's why we study the word of God. It's not so that we master a book that was written thousands of years
ago. It's so that we have knowledge of the God who inspired these words to know his heart, to know
his mind, to know his thinking. I want to know my father. He's a sweetheart. He is an absolute sweetheart. And the more I know my father, the more sweeter he is.
I'm learning how sweet he is.
I've always known he was kind.
Now I'm learning how sweet he is.
And he wants you to know that he's a sweetheart.
He wants to be a sweetheart in your life.
But for you to experience it, you have to know him.
And to know him, you have to know his word.
And to know a father, you have to know the son.
If you've seen the son, you've seen the father.
And where we experience the son is in this word.
Yes.
And Jesus said the parable of the sower is in this Word. Yes. And Jesus said,
the parable of the sower is the master key.
If you don't understand the parable of the sower,
you won't understand any of these other parables that he taught.
And the principle is that it allows certain people in
and keeps certain people out.
And you may not like to hear that,
but that's exactly what the purpose of the
parables were in order to provide a way for those that were seeking to know about the king and his
kingdom to come into the kingdom. And for those that were only there for the buffet or whatever,
to keep them out because they have no desire to be there. And Jesus even said that this teaching in parables was a fulfillment
of prophecy. He said, the prophet Isaiah talked about this hundreds of years before, prophesied
about it and said, this would be happening. It picks up in verse 13. Jesus says, therefore speak
I to them in parables because they seeing, see not and hearing, they hear not, neither do they Verse 2. and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest at any time they should see with their eyes.
Doc, who closed their ears and their eyes?
Did God close their eyes and ears
so that they couldn't understand the parables?
No.
Who did it?
They did it themselves.
They did it themselves.
And so the Lord says,
because you chose to close your eyes,
you chose to clog up your ears,
therefore you won't understand any of these things.
I'll make you blind.
I'll make you deaf, spiritually blind and deaf,
because you chose to do it.
I know that doesn't go down well with a lot of people, a lot of churches,
because they don't want, modern, especially American Christians don't want to take responsibility
that their mind, their thinking, their words, their actions determine their spiritual state and their growth and their place in the
kingdom. They don't want to take responsibility for it. Yeah. It's somebody else's responsibility,
the preacher's responsibility or society's responsibility or anybody but themselves.
That's right. But Jesus here in the teaching with the parables is making it very clear
that there is a, you have to make a decision in this process.
You have to be involved in this process. He said, because they look, they don't see.
Well, how can you look and not see? Because you choose not to.
Yeah. They listen, but they don't hear. Neither do they understand.
Isaiah said, by hearing hearing you will hear
and shall not understand
and seeing you will see
and you won't perceive
and there are people sitting
in churches every
weekend
there are people watching Christian television
listening to Christian radio
they're hearing it
but they're not understanding it they can even recite it listening to Christian radio. They're hearing it. Right.
But they're not understanding it.
They can even recite it by memory,
but they don't understand it.
It hasn't gotten into their heart because they've closed their eyes,
they've closed their ears.
They're more interested in the things of the world
than not only the kingdom of God, but the king of the kingdom. Again, when the king is your highest
desire, when he is everything you want, everything you desire, everything you think about is the king. To be with him, to please him, to be his adorable son or
daughter. Don't you want to be your heavenly father's favorite son or daughter? Don't you want
to make him smile? Do you make God smile in the morning when you get up? Does your life make your heavenly father smile or does it make him sad?
How are you living your life? How are you talking? How are you treating people?
It affects your heavenly father. Are you putting a smile on your father's face or are you putting
sadness, grief in his heart, wondering when are you going to learn my ways? When are you
going to study my kingdom so that I can give you abundance, so that I can make your life wonderful?
It's up to you and me. Our eyes have to be open to see. Our ears have to be open to hear.
That's the challenge. We're going to be in the parables all this week.
