Beijing's Communist Party affiliate in the USA, I'm talking about the Democrat Party, took their lawlessness to another level yesterday. A New York Democrat judge went rogue and arbitrarily ruled that he had the legal power to dissolve former President Donald Trump's corporation and sell off its assets. In other words, he stripped Donald Trump penniless. The communist revolution in America has now moved into its next phase of operation, asset confiscation. Every patriot should be extremely alarmed and ready to defend our rights and liberty and property.

Let's look at a report published by the New York Post. You see the headline, Judge revokes Trump's New York business licenses, finds he committed fraud by inflating his wealth. This is so outrageous. It's difficult to believe that it's actually happening. Doc, it's so bizarre. Let's read the story, then we'll comment about it. So a Manhattan judge on Tuesday found Donald Trump committed fraud by exaggerating the value of his wealth and canceled the former president's New York business licenses, which could hamper his longtime company's ability to operate in the Empire State. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice

Arthur Ergaron found Trump, his family, and his business, the Trump Organization, liable for fraud. The key claim in New York Attorney General Letitia James' sprawling lawsuit against the defendants. Now, in his 35-page ruling, O'Garon, excuse me, O'Garon sided with James, who argued that Trump made several indisputably false statements in business documents to secure favorable terms with banks, including by claiming that his soaring triplex penthouse at Trump Tower was 30,000 square feet when, in fact, it was closer to 11,000 square feet. A discrepancy of this order of magnitude by a real estate developer sizing up his own living space of decades can only be considered fraud, the judge ruled. The judge revoked the New York business certificates belonging to the Trump Organization and any other New York-based business run by Mr. Trump or his family, while ordering that an independent third party will be tasked with managing the dissolution of the canceled LLCs.

What that means is that Mr. Trump could be stripped of control over some of his namesake properties, including the Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan. This is America today now, Rick. No, this is communist China. The communists took over America in 2020, and the patriots of this country have yet to comprehend that they were overthrown. We're living in a post-constitutional republic era. The communists took over in 2020. And if you doubt what I'm saying, then why can't you get back control of the country?

Why are the patriots so frustrated with their powerlessness? If you don't think you've been overthrown. If you weren't overthrown, you would be in charge. It's just that simple, Doc. The patriots, the constitutionalists, the conservatives of this country are beside themselves because at everything that they try to do, they get beaten. And they can't figure it out.

I'll explain it to you. You were overthrown. Xi Jinping is in control of this country. You think you can play fair when the other side cheats? The other side is godless. Yes. The Communist Party is, well, they have a god. The god is Lucifer.

And they play by his rules. And he's a liar. He's the father of lies. I really am surprised today, Wednesday, by the lack of comprehension among the Trump supporters, the MAGA crowd, among patriots, among conservatives, among Christians. I'm astounded by the lack of comprehension about what happened yesterday. This was asset confiscation. A Democrat judge in New York arbitrarily, there was no trial, Doc. Yes, he just decided.

This isn't a jury trial. This wasn't a criminal prosecution. A judge on his own made a decision that he believes Donald Trump inflated his wealth. Therefore, he does not deserve to own anything. And the judge has the right to take away everything and sell it off. What the judge is doing is he has he assigned a decree to dissolve the Trump corporations. It's called the Trump Organization. It's a network of corporations, LLCs, and so forth, controlled by the Trump family. The judge has ordered the corporations to be dissolved. The corporations don't exist anymore. I don't know the effective date of this order, but the judge is putting in place a trustee of the court

to run the Trump Corporation. Trump has lost control of his own corporation. The Democrats, the communists in this country, are stripping Donald Trump down to his underwear. They want this man completely humiliated, penniless, unable to run for president, unable to pay his bills. They're taking everything from him. It's astounding, Doc, that a judge thinks he has the power to do this my friends if a democrat communist judge believes that he has the power to take away

the property of the former president united states what about your property? Yes. What about your property? What if you say something that they don't like? Because isn't that what it's all about? Right. Words. Donald Trump is being punished for words. Now, they're saying, no, it's fraud. Okay, name the plaintiff that filed charges against Donald Trump.

Name the bank. Name the lender. Name anybody other than the Democrat political machine. Name somebody that filed a claim against Donald Trump and said, you swindled me in that deal. You told me you were a billionaire worth $6 billion and you're only worth $2 billion and you're a crook. Think of the reasoning of that, Doc, how stupid that sounds. Donald Trump made all the payments. Every building that he purchased, they made the payments.

And interest and anything. Paid the interest, fulfilled, they made the payments. And interest and anything. Paid the interest, fulfilled the terms of the loans. The people that loaned him the money are satisfied. They got their money back. There's no crime. It's not like he defaulted and then they found out, oh, we gave you a loan and we should not have given you a loan. No, he paid the money back. Right.

It's the Democrats who are saying, well, we think you should have never gotten a loan. This is very similar to what they did to Jim Baker back in the 80s. They went after Jim Baker and they said that he committed fraud he committed mail fraud using the u.s right postal service well what was the fraud they said well he was building these uh uh these hotels he's uh you know uh condo units and he sold he sold more of them than he could fulfill therefore that's fraud there was not one person who donated to jim baker's ministry that complained that they never were able to use the you know the timeshare that's what it was the timeshare of course they were selling the condos they were selling timeshares there was was not one person who donated to Jim Baker's ministry and in return received a promise of a timeshare a week at Heritage USA.

There was not one person who filed a complaint and said, I got cheated. It was the U.S. government that said, we're going after you because you might cheat somebody. Right. And they're doing the same thing to Donald Trump. And one of the reasons they went after Jim Baker was because he was friends with Ronald Reagan and a number of conservative leaders. They couldn't touch him, but they could touch Jim Baker. At that time, they feared that Jim Baker had too much political power. Right.

There were too many people watching him on TV that he could sway an election. That was really what it was all about. You got it. Now, here we are with Donald Trump. They're taking him down. Folks, this is real. This is real. This isn't imaginary.

He has been stripped penniless. Property confiscation is part of a communist revolution. Yes. If they can take the former president's property, they can take your house, they can take your farm, your ranch, your factory, your buildings. And believe me, it's coming. By the time we get it, if this does not stop, by the time we get into the 2030s, property confiscation will be a normal thing in this country for thought crimes, for speech crimes. For voting crimes.

You voted for the wrong candidate. You said the wrong thing. You spoke out against transvestites. We have to take your house from you. You are not permitted to own property. You're against transvestites. You're against homosexuals. You're not permitted to own property anymore. You've

forfeited your rights to own property by the words that you have spoken. That's where we're going. This is a takeover of the country. It is not a takeover that's coming. It's already happened. Try to do something about what they're doing to Donald Trump and see what success you have. He's the former president and he can't stop it. He's powerless right now to stop it. And I'm going to say right now, Donald Trump, Mr. President, what's it going to take to get you to get on your knees and surrender your life to Jesus Christ? Mr. President, what is it going to take for you to publicly call upon the name of Jesus Christ

to save you and the country? How much more? How much more pressure is it going to take to break your pride? His only way out of this is Jesus Christ. Our only way out of this is Jesus Christ. This is a takeover. We're being, I said in 2000, I don't know, 2012, I said America is going into captivity. Okay, so it's now 2023. We are in captivity.

We have been conquered. The American people have been conquered by China, by Xi Jinping. They're introducing communism in this country. Incrementally. But it's rapid incrementalism that isn't slow anymore. It's rapid. They've pretty much greased the rails now, haven't they? So imagine, just go back in time.

Can you imagine a news headline? A judge has confiscated the property of President Dwight Eisenhower. And let's say it was because you spoke out against the military industrial complex. Unthinkable. It would not have happened. It just would not have happened. This is where we're at today. That they can strip the former president of his property and sell it off.

I want to show you how. We're going to go into this a little bit deeper. We've got a statement from President Trump, and he posted a lengthy statement on Truth Social last night. And, Doc, I'll let you read the you're going. It says the widespread radical attack against me, my family and my supporters has now devolved to new un-American depths at the hands of a deranged New York state judge doing the bidding of a completely biased and corrupt prosecutor, Letitia James, who ran for office based on a get Trump platform before even knowing anything about me. Today's action is a refutation of my status as the leading candidate for president of the United States, including with a substantial lead over Joe Biden is a terrible reminder that the radical left Democrats will stop at nothing in trying to prevent me and the American people from winning the 2024 presidential election. He goes on to talk about, you know, his current lead and also goes on to explain that this whole operation that's underway

is a political attack against him and that they're using, you know, the judge has no idea about how real estate works and how banks work, that this is a very sophisticated process here that these prosecutors know nothing about. They're only doing this whole process in order to get at Donald Trump politically. There was no trial, no jury for this supposed wrongdoing of fully paying back sophisticated Wall Street banks in full with interest, with no defaults, with no victims. These banks were represented by the largest, most sophisticated law firms in the country. This is pure Democrat political lawfare and a witch hunt at a level I've never seen before. My civil rights have been violated. And some appellate court, whether federal or state, must reverse this horrible, un-American decision. If they can do this to me, they can do this to you.

If Donald Trump is unable to get an injunction to get a judge to stop it, Mar-a-Lago will be sold very soon and Mr. Trump will be evicted from his house. Now you may ask, well, how did that happen? I mean, because Mar-a-Lago is here in Florida, but it's under, it's owned by the corporation in New York. That's right. If you live in, I'm going to say, if you live in a Democrat controlled state, you better get out of it.

I mean, pack up and leave. Get out. Donald Trump had his assets domiciled in New York. That's his problem. His assets were domiciled in the state of New York, and they've taken them today. Right. If you're in a Democrat state, you better flee and move your corporations, move your assets, get out of it. This is a communist takeover.

He said, you know, these were loans with sophisticated banks. We're talking loans in the hundreds of millions of dollars. And if there was fraud perpetrated, I guarantee you these banks and their sophisticated law firms, as Donald Trump says, would have gone after Donald Trump, right? Anybody who has bought commercial property, and I don't care if it's's something small a million dollar property that's small in commercial real estate right that's small stuff a 10 million 20 million 50 if you have bought commercial real estate you've had to be vetted by the bank right and probably at least one or two law firms along the way too yes and it's not an easy process anymore to get a commercial loan. But when you're buying skyscrapers and resorts that cost in the hundreds of millions of dollars. their lawyers and their CPAs have, have,

have, are going to require you to be stripped down to your underwear in the vetting process because they're going to look at everything and they're going to demand documentation of every single thing. And they should, and they should, they're doing their job. This is what Mr. Trump is saying.

I already went through the process. The banks were okay. They're doing their job. This is what Mr. Trump is saying. I already went through the process. The banks were okay. They gave me the loans. And so the only person that is accusing Donald Trump of fraud that had accused him up to this point is Letitia James. Yes. And she asked this judge to make a ruling on it, and he ruled in favor of her. They're going to do anything that they have to, including assassination, to keep Donald Trump from becoming president.

Now, we mentioned Mar-a-Lago there, and it's not a property that's based in New York, but it's under domiciled in New York. But there are some other properties, too. Newsweek is providing a full list of the properties that could be impacted by this fraud suit. And some of the properties include Mar-a-Lago, the Trump Tower in Manhattan, Trump Park Avenue in Manhattan, 40 Wall Street in Manhattan, Seven Springs Estate is a huge estate up in New York. Even the Aberdeenshire Golf Course in Scotland, Rick, could be impacted by this.

Because it's domiciled in New York. New York Corporation owns it in Scotland. All this stuff is going to be sold off unless a judge intervenes and stops the New York judge. You know, they accuse Donald Trump of being a fascist and everything. What they're doing, they're nationalizing his property. And selling it off. That's pure fascism. That is nothing but fascism. Well, it's communism, Doc. And selling it off. That's pure fascism. That is nothing but fascism.

Well, it's communism, Doc. This is true communism. Land confiscation is communism. And once they get done with Trump, they're going after the Trump supporters. Yes. The next wave will be the Trump, the major donors to the Trump campaign. The people who have donated a lot of money, they're next in line. Some of them have already been deplatformed from banks and everything already.

We know of a few. Some of their lawyers have been debarred, have their license to practice law has been taken away from them. That's right. They're going after the Trump base to make sure nobody ever donates a dollar to a conservative patriotic candidate. That's the plan. That if you are associated with with patriotism and conservatism, you will be stripped penniless. You will not be able to donate to a political campaign because you won't have anything to donate that's where they're going with it doc right and if we could go back in time and donald trump had never run for president none of this would be happening right now no none

of it no he was a darling after him is because of things he said. Words. Words. Word crimes. Word crimes. I want to say something else. This is a number nine. Well, actually, I'm going to say a tweet that I put out today. A very simple statement. People can interpret it any way that they want to. I simply quoted the former president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson. And this is what he said.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. People can interpret those words any way they want to interpret them. You know, and I didn't notice until today that it said patriots and tyrants. Yes. I always thought it was about the blood of tyrants. No, he said. But it said the blood of patriots and tyrants. Because in order to shed the blood of tyrants, the blood of patriots has to be shed.

There's a price to pay to get rid of tyrants. Somebody has to die to get rid of the tyrants. So was Thomas Jefferson a revolutionary? Yes. Was he an insurrectionist? Of course he was. Well, he was not an insurrectionist. He was a revolutionary. He was an insurrectionist as far as the British government was concerned. And that's why he's being branded today as as you know a a criminal uh by the left right yes correct but folks we are here's where you're at okay and i've said this in the past but wow this is really becoming stark reality today here here are the options we have as patriots in this country. Number one, you can surrender. Just surrender. That's option number one. Surrender to the communist revolution.

Number two, you can join them. Just say, okay, what's the point in fighting? I'll just become one of them. I'll become a communist with them. That's your second option. Number three, you can resist. Number four, you can flee the country. Those are your options. You can pack up all that you can get out of the country and leave, go to another country, live out your life in another country. Or you can become one of the communists, go along with them.

Or you could surrender and just let them have whatever they have, whatever they want to do, no resistance, or you can resist. Resistance is going to cost all of us. It's going to cost some of us. But surrendering will cost everything, though. If you surrender, they're going to take everything you have because there's no resistance. So which one do you want? Surrender and they come after you anyhow. Flee the country, move to another country or fight. These are the options that they're leaving us. I just want to live a peaceful life. I have no interest in fighting. I'm really not

planning on dying soon. I really don't want to do this. But they're putting us in a place that we have no other option other than to fight for our freedom. We have been taken over. You're fighting the China Communist Party. That's where we're at. Xi Jinping's running the Democratic Party of this nation. And the conservatives

Look, yesterday, our office manager stopped him off and said, hey, Ricky, would you want me to get lunch for you today? And I said, that would really help me. And she said, what would you like? I said, hey, Ricky, would you want me to get lunch for you today? And I said, that would really help me. And she said, what would you like? I said, hey, just get me a Greek salad.

Salad. A Greek salad with grilled chicken on it. Okay. Yes. Now. So you've got lettuce, you've got onions, you've got beets. Tomatoes and some cucumbers and that's it. Okay.

A Greek salad and some chicken on it. With some grilled chicken on it. And she wasn't going to a five-star restaurant. She went to a gas station. Literally. It's a gas station with a restaurant in it. I mean, it wasn't the Trump Towers. It's a gas station. The stinking salad was good.

The salad was $17. For lettuce. A lunch salad, $17. For vegetables and chicken. Yeah. Doc, I can't do this. I stopped the other night at a nearby small little tiny little strip mall restaurant. I thought, you know what? I'm just going to grab some

pasta. I've heard employees say that this is a good place. I went in there and I didn't even look. I just said, hey, just give me spaghetti and meatballs. Spaghetti and meatballs. To go. Okay. $23. I'll never go back. $23 for pasta and meatballs. $23. I'll never go back. I know what pasta costs.

So what am I saying here, folks? I understand we're all feeling the pressure of the inflation. God knows that you're feeling it. You may have a limited income you may have a fixed income but your father in heaven is not limited you have an unlimited God and his resources are not fixed

he doesn't look under his sofa for some money. You see Jesus picking up the throne saying, hey, see if there's any money down here. Take the cushions off the throne. No, he's unlimited. And he's made a way for you and me to receive. And that way is giving. It's faith and giving. Faith and giving. faith and giving,

faith and giving. You can't separate the two, faith and giving. They have to go together, faith and giving. So do this, make a vow to God and say, if you give me miracle money to buy food through American reserves, I will give X percent to True News. You decide. You and the Lord, you make that decision. I don't even want to know. You just, just, and then just keep your word because he's going to keep his word. I promise you he's going to keep his word. He will get you through this time that we're in. And you will build up your supply of food. But something more important, you will build up your supply of faith. Your faith in God will grow. And I just said, OK, what do I have to lose? I'll do it. I made a pledge to God that I'd send so much to True News. And then I used the rest of my food and it started to come in. And I did it again. And more miracle money came to me. You know what? God's getting praise.

Yes. He's getting praise. And now your testimony is making other people have faith in God. See, that's what he wants. He wants people to have faith in God. See, that's what he wants. years right now the lean years were seven years away that's right so by faith they he had to store food for an entire nation which means really the entire nation of Egypt had to go by faith that Joseph had heard from God to prepare for the lean years coming. That's right. He acted on faith. Right. And when people see you acting on faith, they can be blessed as well because they'll start acting on faith. You know, Doc, Joseph didn't have just one storehouse. I don't know why for many years.

I thought he just had one big storehouse in Cairo. He had storehouses all over Egypt. That's right. That means you and I can have multiple storehouses. That's right. And from what I understand about the story, they stored enough food to feed the world. The world, not just Egypt, because nations were coming to Egypt during the lean years to purchase food. Yes. And did Egypt get richer?

Yes, they got richer, too. They actually got richer during the famine because they used wisdom to build up a supply of food. And it was all by faith. There will be people when times are really hard, they will come to you and say, I heard you have food. I didn't store any food. I just stored gold. And you'll say, well, I'll tell you what.

I'll give you some of my food for your gold. Food will be more valuable than gold. You can't eat gold. You can eat food, but you will need the gold to buy the food. If you didn't store, if you didn't prepare, you need to have both because there will be bartering. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power,

who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with them. And we are witnesses of all things which he did, both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they slew and hanged on a tree. Him God raised up on the third day and showed him openly, not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. And he commanded us to preach unto the people and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the judge of the quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. While Peter yet spake these

words, the Holy Ghost fell on all of them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. So from yesterday, Peter was giving his sermon to the gentiles in cornelius's house and he said uh this is verses 36 and 37 to the people of israel god has sent the good news

he gives peace excuse me he gives peace through jesus christ he is lord of all you yourselves know the story of what happened all through Judea. It started in Galilee after the baptism, which John talked about. So now we get to verse 38. How God appointed, excuse me, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him. So Peter is continuing with this thought that Cornelius and his invited friends and relatives already have some basic knowledge about Jesus. A more accurate sentence structure would be, Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him.

The word anointed clearly identifies Jesus. I should say that the word anointed identifies Jesus from the town of Nazareth as being the one who was declared by God to be the anointed one, the Christ. Right. The Messiah. The Messiah. That's what Christ means. The anointed one. No other person is entitled to claim the title of Christ, the anointed one.

But we will see in these last days, there will be a person who will illegally claim that title. Yes. And he is anti-Christ, the anti-anointed one. Jesus, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him. Peter's words went beyond the miraculous works of Jesus to deliver demoniacs from satanic bondage. He was also speaking of all the people who were oppressed by Satan with sickness and crippling infirmities. Jesus did more than perform good deeds. He went about doing good, healing the sick, casting out demons, and he deliberately went from place to place seeking people who needed mercy and healing and deliverance. He went about seeking opportunities to do good deeds for the glory of God. Jesus exhibited an incessant activity to do good things for people who desperately needed good things to happen in their life. He was driven by it. Yes. You know, the Bible says, who was it?

It was a John who said that all the books in the world cannot hold act, that is not all. That's not a complete report on the miracles that Jesus did during three and a half years. Right. John said there were so many miracles. We couldn't, all the books in the world wouldn't be able to hold all the miracles that he did.

What does that mean? It means from the time Jesus woke up in the morning until he went to sleep at night, he was driven to find people who needed a miracle from heaven. He was obsessed with it. It was his driving motivation. And that's why we find Peter as an apostle looking for somebody to heal. Jesus was the anointed one, empowered by the Holy Spirit to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead. He did not seek fame or fortune or political power. He went about the region doing deeds of good works, deeds of mercy, not judgment or destruction. He did those things because God

empowered him. Amen. It was the highest form of support and affirmation. If Jesus is our role model, each of us should go about our days doing deeds of good works, deeds of mercy. We imitate our Lord. The Holy Spirit that empowered Jesus to perform miracles is the same Holy Spirit who indwells in us to continue to do deeds of good works and mercies in his name. For God was with him. You can do whatever the Lord inspires faith in you to do for his kingdom because God is with you. He will give sufficient grace to do it. And Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. Yes. We too should do the same in Jesus's name.

Imitate our master. Go about each day doing good things for others and destroying the works of the devil. Ask yourself today, what good thing could I do for somebody today for the glory of God? Amen. Start every day like that. Ask God every morning, show me a person that I could do a good deed today for that person that would glorify you. Rick, do you recall the conversation that we had one day with one of our employees?

And we were just having a casual conversation with them. And they didn't know what they should be doing next. And we told him, well, if you don't know what to do, do something good. Yeah. Yeah, just do something good. Do something good. If you don't know what to do, do something good. The Holy Spirit will put somebody in your path.

Yes. And reveal to you what that person needs. It may just be a word of encouragement. It may be that you pray with that person. It may be that you pay his or her bills. Do something. Ask the Lord to show you today and do it every day. Who can I bless today in your name?

Verse 39, and we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they slew and hanged on a tree. Peter informed the audience that he and the other apostles were eyewitnesses to all the things Jesus did and said, including his crucifixion and resurrection. The phrase of all things which he did in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. Cornelius and his guests had heard stories about Jesus, but Peter wanted them to know he was there with Jesus. He was an eyewitness. He could affirm the stories and give them the correct version of each report of things Jesus said and did in the region. In other words, he's saying, you have heard these stories but i was there i can tell you exactly what happened

peter said he was with jesus in the land of the jews meaning judea and in the city of jerusalem whom they slew and hanged on a tree the The whom they refers to the Jewish rulers in Jerusalem, the Sanhedrin. He did not use the word crucify, but instead described the cruel act of nailing the Messiah to a tree. Yes. As Peter spoke, no doubt in his mind, he thought about how the Jewish elite rejected their promised Messiah. And now they had absolutely no right to protest God inviting the Gentiles to take their place in the kingdom of God. God had every right to forsake Judaism because the Jews had forsaken his son.

The Jewish elite were not content with murdering the son of God. Their evil hearts desire to inflict torture and unbearable pain and suffering on Christ. They knew that the crucifixion was the worst way to die. How barbaric was execution by crucifixion? The Roman orator Cicero cicero described it as quote a most cruel and disgusting punishment cicero said quote the very mention of the cross should be far removed not only from a roman Roman citizen's body, but from his mind, his eyes, his ears. Yes. So the Romans were repulsed by crucifixion, but the Jewish rulers lusted for it. They wanted him crucified because it was barbaric and cruel.

That's how much they hated the Son of God. For the wicked Jewish Sanhedrin, a torturous death by the cross is precisely what they lusted to thrust upon Jesus, whom they knew was the Son of God. They wanted him crucified for the sheer demonic joy of watching Jesus in pain and suffering. They wanted Jesus crucified because it was shameful, and they wanted Jesus crucified by the Roman government as a way to point the blame away from themselves and put it on Rome. Verse 40. Him God raised up on the third day and showed him openly. 41. Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us,

who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. So God raised up Jesus on the third day. In this verse, the resurrection power is attributed to God the Father. It says God raised up Jesus on the third day. So in this particular verse, Peter is attributing the resurrection that it was the power of God the Father. But in other scriptures, Jesus claimed the power to resurrect himself. John 10, verse 18. No one takes it from me.

Talking about his life. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I receive from my Father. So there's no conflict in the scriptures. Very good, Rick. God the Father raised him from the dead, but God the Father gave the authority to Jesus to raise himself. Amen. Glory. John 5, verse 21-22.

As the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. For the Father has given all judgment to the Son. John 2, 19. Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Yes. The phrase spoken by Peter showed him openly. It means God made Jesus manifest, made him visible to be seen, to be comprehended.

The resurrected Christ made him visible to people. Jesus was seen, heard, and touched. He was in the same body, but resurrected from the dead. And the apostles saw him, and they talked with him. Verses 41, there's two parts here. Part one, not to all the the people but unto witnesses chosen before of god jesus the rest the resurrected jesus did not appear to everyone in israel he did not appear to the general public it was not necessary to validate the resurrection to them he appeared to eyewitnesses who were chosen before of god that's the phrasing chosen before of god chosen before the foundation of the world the elect selected by god to be eyewitnesses to the most astounding thing that ever happened in the history of mankind. The people who saw Jesus after the resurrection were chosen by God before the world began.

Besides, what right did the wicked Jewish rulers have to see the glorious resurrected messiah and i'll i'll back it up with this parable the parable about lazarus and the rich man the rich man man asked Abraham to send Lazarus to the rich man's five brothers and tell them not to come to the place of torment when they die. It's in Luke 16, starting with verse 19. There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side.

The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, Father Abraham, have pity on me, and sent Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in great agony in this fire. But Abraham replied, son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. Now listen to this. And besides all this, between us and you, a great gulf has been set in place so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us. Verse 27, he answered, now here it is. Then I beg you, Father.

This is the rich man speaking to Abraham. And he's died. He's in Hades. He says, then I beg you, Father Abraham, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them so that they will not also come to this place of torment. And here it is. Abraham replied, they have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.

The rich man said, no, Father Abraham. But if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent. And Abraham said, if they do not listen to Moses and Christ, and they would not believe him if they saw him. That's right. In fact, they tried to kill him again. We've got to make sure he's really dead this time. You're right rick and what's significant in that passage too is it shows the uh how important that the word of god itself is the scriptures are that if if you reject the scriptures you won't even believe a dead man walking around

um that's how important the word of god is. That's right. That's the priority of the Word of God. The Word of God saves. And so, but yes. When you get the Word of God in you, you know what to believe. Yes. I'm talking about other things in life. When you have the Word of God in you, the Word of God will tell you what to believe about the other things of life. Verse 41, the second part. Even to us who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. There are three instances after the resurrection where Jesus ate food with the apostles. Luke 24, verse 30. Luke 24, verse 42, and John 21, verse 13.

So the eating of food by Jesus substantiated that he was in his real human body. Now, verses 42 42 43 and he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that it is he which was ordained of god to be the judge of the quick and the dead to give all the prophets witness that through this name or through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Peter said Jesus commanded the apostles to preach to the people and to testify that it is he who was ordained by God to be the judge of the living and the dead. Yes. The judgment of the living and the dead refers to the second coming of Jesus. The day of judgment, the final day. He will judge all who are alive on the earth and all who are dead in the earth.

Yes. The very split second he appears in the eastern sky. The judgment's done then. A lot of Christians have a misunderstanding about Judgment Day. Jesus judges the living and the dead the moment he appears. This isn't going to be put off for a thousand years. No. They're judged the moment he appears. Jesus was appointed by his father to have all power on earth and in heaven to judge and govern his church and to be the judge on the final day so that each person who has ever lived on earth shall receive his or her proper sentence for eternity.

Verse 43, to him give all the prophets witness that through his name, whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Peter informed the audience in Cornelius' home that all the prophets throughout the ages testified of the coming Messiah and that through faith in his name, the name of Jesus, whosoever believes in him shall receive remission of sins.

The redemption of Gentiles was seen in the spirit ages long ago by the prophets of Israel. I mean, it wasn't something new. The prophets had told the Jews there's going to be a day the Gentiles will be saved. Joel said, whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered. Amen. But the rabbis interpreted that the whosoever meant only Jews. But whosoever is whosoever.

You remember that old hymn, church hymn, Rick? Whosoever surely meaneth me. We used to sing, Rick? Whosoever surely meaneth me. Yes, he does. Sing that song. Whosoever surely meaneth me. Yes. It's me. That's who he's talking about.

Listen, I don't want to get into a theological argument with the hyper-Calvinists. Because I have a strong heritage in the reformed church, but there's one thing I can't accept about the Calvinist. And that is that they believe in a predestination that there are people born predestined to go to hell. And that is a lie. That is a lie. That is a lie. Whosoever.

Shall call upon his name. Shall be saved. Mankind has free will. God has not destined anyone. To burn forever in the lake of fire. Verse 44. While Peter was saying this, the Holy Spirit came on all those who heard the message.

While Peter was speaking these words, the speech we've just read, while Peter was speaking these words, the Holy Spirit suddenly manifested and came upon everybody in the house who heard Peter's message. The Holy Spirit came upon the people before Peter could finish speaking. He had a lot more to say. But the Holy Spirit interrupted his sermon.

I can just see the expression on Peter's face. Like, whoa, wait a minute. I haven't even gotten to the good part of my sermon yet. But this is what it means. It means that the Holy Spirit knew that each person in that room had accepted Peter's message in their hearts and believed in Jesus as the Messiah. There was no reason to continue the sermon. In their hearts, they had already believed Jesus. Amen. And that's what the Holy Spirit was waiting for. Peter did not lay hands on the people before they received the Holy Spirit.

Yes. God validated. God validated to Peter and the other Jews who came with him that he accepted the Gentiles into the church, and he validated it by releasing the Holy Spirit to come upon them without Peter even laying hands on them. The Lord laid his hands on them. This is really important. The Lord Jesus laid his hands on them. And he gave them the promise according to the covenant with Abraham.

The promise God made to Abraham was the Holy Spirit. And he gave the promise to the Gentiles. Yes. So the people in Cornelius' house were the first fruits of the Gentile nations to be saved and brought into the church of God. Verse 45, the believers who came with Peter were Jews. They were very much surprised that the Holy Spirit was also sent to those who were not Jews. Now, these are Jews who believed in Jesus.

Right. So these six men that traveled with Peter from Joppa to Caesarea were Jews just like Peter who believed in the name of Jesus and were baptized into the church. They would not have believed Peter's report if they had not personally witnessed a house full of Gentiles filled with the Holy Spirit. Well, let me tell you something. What astounded those six Jewish Christians and Peter was not that some Gentiles put their faith and trust in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. What surprised and amazed him was that people who were not Jewish had been baptized with the Holy Spirit. That's what astonished them. Yes. God gave them the promise, the promise being the Holy Spirit.

God gave them the Holy Spirit without requiring them to be circumcised and to adhere to Jewish dietary restrictions and all of the law that the Jewish Christians were still obeying. It was so astonishing to the Jewish Christian men who traveled with Peter that it would have sounded unbelievable had they not been there to see it. Yeah, and in chapter 11, we're going to see that when Peter goes back to Jerusalem, he contends with the Jewish believers there over this very issue. And so there was a reason why, you know, Peter took those six other Jewish believers with him to Caesarea. You had to have eyewitnesses. You had to have somebody. Yeah, and the Holy Spirit knew in advance to have a party of Jewish believers with him. That was so, in Jerusalem, nobody said, Peter, you're exaggerating this. You're puffing this up.

You're making it bigger than it really was. Because those six men said, oh, no, it's exactly what Peter said. Prior to that event in Cornelius' house, none of them, including Peter, would have believed that Gentiles could be saved and baptized with the Holy Spirit without first being converted to Judaism. Right. That's what stunned them. Not that these Gentiles believed in the God of Abraham, but that God accepted them without first becoming Jews. Right. That's what was messing up their minds. But that God accepted them without first becoming Jews.

Right. That's what was messing up their minds. They were dumbfounded that God bypassed the entire system of Judaism to admit Gentiles into the church. But they saw it with their eyes. They saw what happened in the room. And people outside the Jewish world who had not submitted to observing the whole Mosaic law were made partakers with the Christian Jews of all the privileges in the new covenant. That's right. And that they had received the same inheritance as the Jewish believers. What's that inheritance? The Holy Spirit. Yes. That was the inheritance. Yes. Verses 46, 47. They heard them speak in tongues

and other languages and praise God. Then Peter said, these people have received the Holy Spirit just as we have. Can anyone say that they may not be baptized in water? The people spoke in languages they had never spoken previously and had never studied. My view is they did not jibber-jabber and made up gibberish. They spoke other languages and they spoke them fluently. The Jewish Christians with Peter heard the Gentiles praising God, exalting God, worshiping God with their mouths, lifted hands, joyful expressions on their faces. And that's how Peter and his party knew that the Holy Spirit had fallen on them. How? Because they were behaving the same way as the believers did on the day of Pentecost.

That's right. This is that. This is that. So if they denied it for the Gentiles, they'd have to deny that what happened to them on Pentecost was not real. That's true. That's right. So Peter was moved to ask the obvious question, the question that the other six men had to be thinking at the same time. If these Gentiles have received the Holy Spirit, what is stopping us from baptizing them in water? I believe Peter turned to the six Jewish Christians who traveled with him from Joppa.

He appealed to their reason. How could we not baptize them in water after seeing and hearing this astonishing event today? He did not say, well, they've been baptized by the Holy Spirit. There's no need for us to baptize them in water. It's just the opposite. Peter said, since they have received the Holy Spirit, there's nothing left for us to do except baptize them in water. That's right. Peter instructed his fellow Jewish Christians to conduct the baptism

of all the former Gentiles in the room. Just think about that. These seven Jewish men, counting Peter, astonished at what they had witnessed, are now baptizing a house full of Gentiles who have received the same Holy Spirit they received at Pentecost. And just a day before, Rick, they would have argued with Peter, we can't go to a Gentile's house. Are you out of your cotton-picking mind? We can't do this.

Yep. They would have said, these Gentiles are going to have to first be circumcised. They're going to have to join the synagogue. They're going to have to, they got to become Jews. Then they can become Christians look you've got the same spirit of Judaizers in the church today the evangelical charismatic

Pentecostal churches are filled with modern day Judaizers yes they are telling Gentiles well I'm not a Gentile telling non-Jews, you have to become a Jew if you want to be a real Christian. Yes. You don't believe me? Turn on religious TV and just watch it for a couple hours. You're going

to hear it. Peter did not say that the Gentile men should be circumcised. He said everybody here needs to be baptized. Think about Jeremiah 4, verse 4. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord. Remove the foreskin of your hearts, O men of Judah, inhabitants of Jerusalem, lest my wrath go forth like fire and burn with none to quench it because of the evil of your deeds. Think of Paul in Romans 2 verses 25-29. Circumcision of the body is a good thing if you obey the law, but if you break the law, you are like a man who has not been circumcised with this mark of the Jew. So if a man who has not been circumcised obeys the law, he will not be like a man who has not been circumcised with this mark of the Jew. So if a man who has not been circumcised

obeys the law, he will not be like a man who has been circumcised. Some people have not been circumcised, but they obey the law. They will show that you should be punished. You have written, you have the written law, and you have been circumcised, and yet you break the law. If a person is a Jew only on the outside, he is not really a Jew. And true circumcision is not something that is done on the outside of the body. If a person is a Jew inside, he is really a Jew. Yes. It is God who praises him, not people. True circumcision is done in the heart. It is in the spirit, not in the body. Such people are not praised, but God praises them.

Peter realized that the Gentiles in the room were no longer Gentiles. Gentile means to be outside the covenant of God, to be unclean. To be unholy. That's all Gentile means. So in the minds of the Jews, there's the Jews and there are Gentiles. Everybody else is a Gentile, meaning they're unclean. Peter realized that those people in the room were no longer Gentiles. Cornelius, his relatives, his friends were no longer Gentiles.

They were not unclean or common. Peter began to understand the meaning of the vision in which he saw all kinds of animals in the sheet lowered down from heaven. And the divine voice told him what God has cleansed. You shall not call that common. Peter finally understood it. He was not in a room with unclean people. He was not in a room filled with Gentiles.

He was in a room filled with brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen. And he was not ever again to call anybody unclean. And Peter put that event on par with the day of Pentecost. He insisted that the Gentiles had received the Holy Spirit exactly as we did on the day of Pentecost. So what that day was, was the Gentile

Pentecost. So what that day was, was the Gentile Pentecost. Yes. We've got two days of Pentecost. One for the Jews, one for the Gentiles. Now they are one in Christ. And everything else from that day is history. The church went forth into all the world. And now in every nation of the world, there are believers. In every nation, there are believers. And when this gospel, this gospel of the kingdom, not somebody else's gospel, but this gospel of the kingdom, when this gospel of the kingdom is When this gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world, the end shall come. The end is not going to come when some red heifer

appears in Israel. The end is not going to come because Jews built a third temple in Israel. The end will come when this gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world as a witness to the nations. That's when Christ comes back. Don't let anybody tell you that all these spooky things have got to happen in Israel before the Lord comes back. That's just, those are Jewish fables. Yes. Jesus comes back. The end of the age occurs when this gospel,

this gospel is the gospel of the kingdom of God. When this gospel, what is the gospel? Jesus Christ came to earth in human flesh. He was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He was crucified for our sins. He died. He was buried. He descended to the place of the dead.

He was raised from the dead. He ascended back to heaven, took his seat at the right hand of God, and intercedes for the church now, and is coming back in glory to establish a kingdom that shall have no end. That is this gospel. People are preaching a lot of different gospels today, but they're not preaching this gospel. And when you preach this gospel, the Holy Spirit shows up and miracles happen. All we have to do is

just do what the apostles did. Just follow the instructions. Verse 48, so he said they were to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and they begged him to stay with them for a while. Praise God. So tomorrow we begin chapter 11. This has been a good lesson on one chapter. This is what had been at least two weeks, maybe three.

It took us a while. But there was a lot of good things in Chapter 10. And it probably cleared up a lot of issues in a lot of people's minds, Rick, because we struggle with these very same issues to this very day because of false teaching in the church, especially dispensationalism that's been dominant for 80 to 100 years in the evangelical church in North America. So there's a lot of things that have to be unwound from our thinking. And so chapter 10 was a good chapter to do that with. Yes.
