Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's news by discussing this article published by the Wall Street Journal. Nancy Pelosi signals Biden should re-examine his decision to stay in the race. There's the first big one, Doc. Yes. This former Speaker of the House. The Wall Street Journal says that former House Speaker Representative Nancy Pelosi indicated President Biden's political fate remained an open question and signaled he should re-examine his decision to stay in the race, quote, it's up to the president to decide if he's going to run. We're all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short. The problem, Ms. Pelosi, is he made the decision.

Yes, he announced it earlier this week. That's what you're having a problem with. Right. You don't like the decision he made. You don't like the decision he made. You don't like the decision he made. That's right. He said, I'm in all the way. I'm not getting out.

And Ms. Pelosi is saying, well, he should reconsider whether he's going to run. He already answered the question. He's going to run. And now they're saying you should reconsider that decision. He's going to run. All right. So we've got a short video clip from Morning Joe MSNBC. Let's watch. Does he have your support to be the head of the Democrats?

As long as the president had the president, it's up to the president to decide if he is going to run. We're all encouraging him to to make that decision because time is running short. The, I think, overwhelming support of the caucus, it's not for me to say, I'm not the head of the caucus anymore, but he's beloved, he is respected, and people want him to make that decision, not me. He has said he has made the decision. He has said firmly this week he is going to run. Do you want him to make that decision. He has. He has said he has made the decision. He has said firmly this week he is going to run. Do you want him to run?

I want him to do whatever he decides to do. But he's already decided. He's decided. You just don't like what he decided. And you're trying to figure out how to get him to retire. That's where we're at right now. Yes. The Democrats wanting to retire that's where we're at right now yes the democrats wanting to retire and uh look they they created this uh this guy joe biden i want to say this guy they didn't create him uh

as a person they created him as a president right nobody wanted joe biden in 2020 the democrats didn't want him but they propped him up because he was the safest front man to take down Donald Trump. And they reconfigured the Democrat primary process in order to ensure that only Joe Biden would be considered. They rigged the primaries, all right? Yes. And so Joe Biden got the nomination in 2020. He got it. I mean, he's going to get it again, looks like, in 2024. Because this time, they just ended the primaries. Yes. Because Bobby Kennedy was running as a Democrat. And they said, oh, we can't allow Kennedy to debate Joe Biden.

Right. And so they just eliminated the primaries. They rigged the system again. Now they're stuck with Joe Biden. You know, but, Doc, look, this is not a – the Democrats did not have this epiphany moment at the debate. They voted. They want you to believe that, you know, Joe was absolutely perfectly well up until that debate. And my, we watched the debate. A jet lag and a cold and fungus and everything.

I'm talking about the ones who are saying he was not mentally there. Right. It's like they want you to believe that it just snapped that night. That night. The day before before he was perfectly sound and then that night he aged and they're in shock now they knew it all the all along now so the question is did they set up joe biden for the takedown at the debate? Or did Joe Biden set himself up? And then the Democrats realize, hey, the cat's out of the bag, the whole world sees it now we can't lie anymore. We can't spin this anymore. We we've been spinning it for four years, making up excuses about why he falls off, you know, falls down stair steps and can't find his way off state.

Which one is it? I don't know yet. I tend to believe they set him up for the takedown. And they're the ones who, I would say they, you know, the insider, the Democratic Party insiders. I believe they're the ones that said, Joe, you should debate Donald Trump before the nomination. You know, there was a clue in that statement by Nancy Pelosi about a possible timetable. Let's get through the NATO summit this week. Well, because you can't take him down during a NATO summit.

Right. You can't force him down during a NATO summit. You can't force him out during a NATO summit. So they're giving him a week of grace. Yes. Next week, it's going to be brutal for him, all right? They're going to say, Joe, you were fantastic at the NATO summit. Let that be your crowning moment. Your swan song.

Yes, your swan song. And now go home. So, number four, right? This is losing track of where I'm at. I vividly remember in 2020, remember when Donald Trump had COVID during the campaign. campaign and nancy pelosi uh made it appear that uh well yeah so i gotta go back one one number here so what i'm going to show you is a video this is number three on my list this is from october of 2020 october 2020 in the presidential campaign donald trump had covet he'd been in Walter Reed Hospital. He checked himself out of Walter Reed, went back to the White House.

And Nancy Pelosi said he was in an altered state. Because of the medication. Because of the medication. And she said that she had a phone call with General Milley about his mental state. And we knew then, okay, they're getting ready to try to remove him. They didn't. They didn't make that move. But I'll show you the video of Nancy talking about Mr. Trump's so-called altered state back in 2020. And then I'll tell

you what she did. Let's watch. I just said he clearly he is under medication. Any of us who is under medication of that seriousness has is in an altered state. He has bragged about the medication that he has taken. And again, there are articles by medical professionals saying this could, as I said earlier, could have an impact on judgment. You know, when you watch these COVID videos and you see them standing there with their masks and you're like, who's in the altered state? Yes. You were in an altered state uh anyhow i don't want to go back to talking about covet but what did abc news say about that at the time rick well i don't know what did they say well let's take a look oh you're talking about the article

so this is 2020 so nancy pelosi uh proposed a panel of experts to review a president's mental fitness under the 25th Amendment. The 25th Amendment is a fairly recent amendment to the Constitution, and it provides a mechanism to remove a president if the president is incapacitated. What do you do if the president is alive but not functioning there's no mechanism or he's in an altered state right so i mean imagine the president's in a coma he's had a stroke he's in a coma for three months he's still legally the president what do you do so that's why the 25th amendment was was passed but then nancy pelosi said but we really don't have a way a procedure yes to implement the 25th amendment so she introduced a bill that would make a path to remove a president who was considered to be

mentally incompetent at least by Congress and because the 25th amendment does allow cabinet members to bring about the 25th amendment but it also says there that the Congress can set up a body by law that could also determine that too. Yes. Let's go back to this 2020 ABC article. Again, we're quoting from 2020, October 9, 2020. House Democrats who have accused President Trump of acting erratically as he battles the coronavirus introduced a proposal to establish a panel to determine a president's fitness for office under the Constitution's 25th Amendment.

The move comes after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that Trump was in an altered state. But she said the measures she introduced wouldn't apply to him. She said, quote, This is not about President Trump. He will face the judgment of the voters, but he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents, Pelosi told reporters at Capitol Hill News Conference as she introduced the bill. Quote, this legislation applies to future presidents, but we are reminded of the necessity of action by the health of our current president. It's not about any of us making a judgment about the president's well-being.

Now, the article ABC, again, October 9, 2020. The measure would create an expert panel with members appointed by Democratic and Republican leaders of the House and Senate to conduct a medical exam at the direction of Congress to determine whether the president is mentally or physically unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office, according to the text of a version of the proposal introduced in 2017 by Democrat Jamie Raskin of Maryland. And it goes on to say, Raskin, a former constitutional law professor and member of the House Judiciary Committee, said the panel would include doctors as well as former presidents and cabinet secretaries who would each serve four-year terms. Quote, the population is getting older.

Politicians are getting older. It's not hard to think that there will be future situations where the president's physical and mental state may create issues for us. So we just need to make sure that we have a structure and a process in place to address it. Remember, that's Jamie Raskin, 2020. And he had the text all the way back to 2017. That was after Donald Trump had been elected. So their plan was at some point to use this against Donald Trump. Yes. But Donald Trump himself said, hey, listen, Joe, you better watch out.

They're going to use the 25th Amendment against you. I want to put up on the screen so that we can scroll down and look at this. Someone's going to do a test of my mental fitness if I don't get this together here today. So here is the 25th Amendment of the Constitution. Okay. Section 1. In case of the removal of the president from office of his death or resignation, the vice president shall become president. Pretty cut and dry there.

Yes. president. Pretty cut and dry there. And then, yes, whenever there is a vacancy in the office of vice president, the president shall nominate a vice president who shall take office upon confirmation by majority vote of both houses of Congress. Which has happened, yes. Yeah. So, you know, so then let's get down to number four, section four. Okay. And so then it says, whenever the vice president or majority of either the principal officers of the—now, this is the one you've got to watch for. Whenever the vice president and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide. There it is right there. So legally, who are the principal officers of the executive departments?

I would assume that would be the cabinet. Right. Okay. That's what I would assume too. But remember, when the Constitution was written, when Section 4 of this Constitution was written. But this is a late amendment. Right. This was a late amendment.

But there was no plan in place at that time to address the issue of a president that was incapable of functioning. Right. So there's two ways here. The vice president and a majority of the principal officers, we're assuming that this is primarily the cabinet secretaries. There could be other people that are legally classified as executive officers or principal officers of the executive departments. So when a majority of those people, or here's the other one, or a body as Congress may by law provide, Congress had never established another body, another board or commission until Nancy Pelosi and Jeremy Raskin introduced this bill. Joe, look, if we can't reason with you, we're going to activate the 25th Amendment. Now, would Kamala Harris go along with it? You bet she would. Yes. You better believe she's going to go along with it. Who on the cabinet would go along with it? Oh, at this point, that's a great question. Dr. Pitts was saying it's clearly obvious Joe Biden has Parkinson's disease.

So when you hear that, OK, no matter what you think of somebody in terms of their politics, their behavior, whatever. OK, look, you have to be merciful. I understand that. Look, you have to be merciful. I understand that. Sure. And you don't make fun of the person. No. But you also don't vote for the person. Would you knowingly vote for a person to be the president of the United States to have his shaking hand on the nuclear launch code? Absolutely not.

I'm fed up with this thing that for four years my party knew these things and kept it hidden. They had four years to find the right person. And didn't. And they didn't do it. Right.
