Doc Burkhardt and I are ready to begin a new week of true news on this eighth day of August 2022. So, Doc, we have a new normal now in Asia, around Taiwan. If anything came out of the Pelosi visit,

it was the establishment of what is a new normal. The new normal is the Chinese military is going to act very aggressively towards Taiwan. And you're going to see, likely see, continued drills over and over and over again now from this point on. And it's going to wear down the Taiwanese people because they will always be on edge. They'll never know when it's a drill, when it's the real invasion. Air raid sirens will be going off.

The Taiwanese military will be on edge, never knowing if this is a real attack or another drill. That's what I see as the new normal. Plus we'll have U.S. resources in the area, too, because they'll be constantly monitoring the situation, monitoring the Chinese, watching for any particular moves they might make toward Taiwan. So now we're in that long burn, if you will, between the two superpowers at this point. I saw today, and maybe we'll see before tomorrow for discussion,

I saw some speculation today that Pelosi's visit to Taiwan could spur China to get involved in the Ukraine-Russia war. Well, Zelensky has already requested China to get involved in the Ukraine-Russia war. Well, Zelensky has already requested China to be involved in Ukraine to help negotiate some kind of settlement. But this was the other way.

This was suggesting that China may assist Russia in the war against Ukraine. They still would be involved in rebuilding. Right. But the idea is that they may come into the war on Russia's side. Well, and that would go on the heels. Remember Kim Jong-un the other day. He is willing to commit 100,000 North Korean troops to assist Russia in Ukraine.

Did we discuss that last week? We didn't get a chance to. You need to repeat for our audience what you told me in private because I had not heard this except what you told me. Right. I saw an article last week that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un had made an announcement that he was willing to commit 100,000 North Korean troops to assist Russia in the war in Ukraine. And so this would be the first time North Korea has sent out troops, any type of block assignment to another superpower in recent memory, if they ever have in the past.

A hundred thousand North Korean troops on the ground in Ukraine, that would change the dynamics of that war. Wow, that truly makes it a world dynamics of that war. Right. Wow. That truly makes it a world war at that point. One side story here. This is from Newsweek. A top Taiwan missile official found dead in a hotel room,

allegedly from a heart attack. And, again, this was reported by Newsweek. Right, so a top Taiwanese missile official was found dead in a hotel room Saturday morning after suffering a heart attack. That's according to the country's official central news agency. Wu-Yang Le-Hsing was deputy head of the National Chung-San Institute of Science and Technology, which is owned by the Taiwanese military and is the Defense Ministry's research and development unit.

Taiwanese authorities said there was no sign of an intrusion in the hotel room in southern Taiwan where the 57-year-old died. That's according to CNA. He was in charge of supervising various missile production projects. And so, Rick, we're always on the lookout for stories like this, dead bankers, dead doctors, dead missile scientists, you know, just show up dead in hotel rooms or dead in their bathtub

or falling off a building or something like that. Yeah, I mean, missile scientists, they die. They have heart attacks like other people. But at a time like this, you have to look at it with a little bit more discernment. I mean, it's quite possible that it's just natural causes. He had a heart attack and died. It could also be that he was given a heart attack. Right.

In lieu of his involvement with the Taiwan military. Doc, last week I said that Nancy Pelosi, House Speaker Pelosi, looked presidential on her trip to Taiwan. I know that upsets some people, but I wasn't trying to promote it. It wasn't an endorsement of Nancy Pelosi. Yes, I wasn't endorsing Pelosi for president. I just said she looked stronger than Biden and even stronger than Xi Jinping. For a moment, Nancy Pelosi looked like a female president of the United States. But when she got back to the United States, she went back to being Nancy Pelosi.

Right. And she said something at a press conference that made a lot of people laugh. She talked about her deep connection to China. This is from Breitbart saying Pelosi blasted for her comments about her connection to China. We'll let you listen. Let you watch. This is what the House speaker said is her connection to communist China. When I was a little girl, I was told at the beach if I dug a hole deep enough, we would reach China.

So we've always felt a connection there. It's a brief comment there and is getting a lot of traction on social media that she's felt a connection with China ever since she was digging a hole to China when she was a kid. And so she's still digging a hole to China. Well, she's digging a hole with that comment because that comment just took away all the luster of her trip to Taiwan. Right.

Well, we'll just let it at that. One story here on Alex Jones, which you all know what happened last Friday after we finished our True News report on Friday, the jury hit him with a $42 million judgment. Yeah, for punitive damages. Yeah. So this story, Alex Jones' texts have been turned over to the January 6th Committee. Now, this is an interesting twist on this. Approximately two years' worth of text messages sent and received by right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones

have been turned over to the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection. A person familiar with the matter told CNN on Monday. The messages were handed over to the committee by Mark Bankston, the attorney who represented two Sandy Hook parents who successfully sued Jones in Texas and won nearly $50 million in a civil trial that concluded last week. Bankston would only tell CNN that he is cooperating with the committee. The select committee declined to comment. Now, Jones testified before the January 6th committee earlier this year, but he later said on his show that he repeatedly asserted his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent during the closed-door deposition.

Representative Zoe Lofgren, a California Democrat who sits on the committee, said Sunday on CNN that the committee was still waiting to see the text and they were interested to learn more about Jones' role in the events at the Capitol. Well, we know that his behavior did incentivize some of the January 6th conduct, and we want to know more about that, Lofgren said. We don't know what we'll find in the text because we haven't seen them, but we'll look at them and learn more, I'm sure. Well, Doc, I can assure you what they're looking for

are direct text messages between Alex Jones and President Trump. Right. All right. Whether the two communicated, we don't know. Alex Jones has hinted, well, he didn't hint. He has stated in the past that he has had direct communications with Donald Trump. Donald Trump has never said that. But that's what they're looking for.

They want to find a link that connects Alex Jones with Donald Trump, specifically around January 6th and anything after the November 2020 elections, during that span of time. That's what they're searching for. Do you think they're searching for. Do you think they're also looking for anything related, comments related to insurrection, anything like that?

Yeah, sure, yeah, absolutely looking. Because remember Alex Jones said that at one time he bragged about partially financing the January january uh... january six rally and uh... so he was taking credit for the money that was raised okay uh... so that's what they're looking for the trying to find a connection his his troubles are just started this isn't this is just the beginning of legal troubles for him

and uh... This is just the beginning of legal troubles for him. And, you know, he's lost control of his corporation. He can't even write a check. And that's not hearsay. That's testimony by his chief recovery officer of Free Speed Systems. You know, Mr. Jones doesn't even have the ability to hire or fire anybody at this point. And so... And the man, Mr. Swartz,

who is the chief recovery officer, I've never heard that title before, but, you know, he's asking the court for permission to pay bills. Right. So there's no guarantee the judge is going to allow him to even pay the bills owed by free speech systems. BILLS. RIGHT. RIGHT. SO THERE'S NO GUARANTEE THE JUDGE IS GOING TO ALLOW HIM TO EVEN PAY THE BILLS OWED BY FREE SPEECH SYSTEMS.

AND IF THAT HAPPENS, DOC, THEN INFOWARS WILL BE SHUT DOWN WITHIN DAYS. WELL, I KNOW ONE BILL THAT WON'T BE PAID, AND THAT WAS AN AMERICAN EXPRESS BILL. THERE'S A BALANCE OF $172,000, AND THE JUDGE SAID THAT WILL NOT BE PAID. THAT'S RIGHT. there's a balance of $172,000, and the judge said that will not be paid. That's right. Because Mr. Schwartz said that Mr. Jones was charging $300,000 a month to his credit card. And then the judge made the comment that part of that, or a portion of that card invoice

would not be paid. So the company is in severe trouble, and I doubt if it lasts more than one to two weeks before it's shut down. They're making the argument that they have to stay open in order to pay the claims. Well, you have to admit they can't pay the claims if they're not bringing in money. And the longer Alex Jones isn't on the air with it, he's on and off right now because of the trial situation, they lose revenue. in order to collect the money would have to give approval to let him continue to do the things

that they sued him to stop. Yes, that's the irony of the situation. So I don't think it's going to last more than two weeks. I think the court's going to shut it down.

But this is really an effort on, you know, by these folks on the left that seek to destroy any kind of free speech at all. This is really a shot across the bow, isn't it? Well, sure. Everybody will pay a price for what Alex Jones, his irresponsibility. Everybody will pay a price. And so that's becoming the new norm. And we saw news stories like I think NBC that said they had an article about the warning, that this was a warning to everybody on the right

that has any kind of media profile. In other words, we're coming after you. We're going to bring you down. We're going to use the law against you. So everybody will suffer. And I think you will see even you'll see podcasters, media organizations, they will lose their insurance policies. They will lose coverage in various sectors of business because the left will put the pressure on companies. We're going to go after them. We're going to shut them down. It's the new norm. This is the new norm that we're in. General Mark Milley, according to the New York Post, drafted a resignation letter in June 2020 in protest of President Trump's walk to Lafayette Square when the Black Lives Matter, leftist radicals and Antifa had attempted to set fire to the oldest church in Washington, D.C. So the general was offended by it. Well, I was offended by the resignation letter. He should have followed through on it if he didn't agree with President Trump.

I wish he would have resigned. This is what the New York Post said. It said, General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff drafted a letter of resignation in June 2020 following former President Donald Trump's infamous photo op in front of a torch church near the White House before changing

his mind and vowing to oppose the 45th president from the inside oppose the president does that sound like sedition sedition it is an act it was he he was part of a coup against president trump right i mean his own words he he he verifies what we said in 2020 now in the draft millie accused trump of using the military to create fear in the minds of people and alleged the then president was making a concerted effort over time to politicize the United States military

I met with a dog what is Millie done with the military if he hasn't politicized it's absolutely politicized he's got drag queen shows going on in military bases don't tell me Millie you haven't politicized the US military and that's what he came to do so So I thought that I could change that, the general went on. I've come to the realization that I cannot and I need to step aside and let someone else try to do that. The letter was reprinted by the New Yorker on Monday as part of an excerpt from The Divider, the forthcoming tell-all from the husband and wife reporting team of Peter Baker and Susan Glasser. Now, according to the authors, Milley considered stepping down after receiving criticism

for accompanying Trump part of the way across Lafayette Square after it had been cleared to back Lives Matter protesters on June 1, 2020. Eventually, Milley opted to stay on after consulting several elected and military officials, including his predecessor, Joint Chiefs Joseph Dunford and former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who reportedly told both Milley and Defense Secretary Mark Esper, if you resign, it's a one-day story. If you're fired, it makes it clear you were standing up for the right thing. So obviously from this, both Milley and Esper were considering resigning at this point.

And so that adds another twist to the story. But you should have. If you didn't agree with the commander-in-chief, your commanding officer, Mr. Milley, General Milley, then you should have stepped down and let someone else fulfill that role. If you can't serve the commander-in-chief, then your obligation was to resign. Now, Milley in his letter,

and he actually made this argument back then too, that his oath was to the Constitution, not to the president. But the president is your commander-in-chief. No, he didn't say he took an oath to the Constitution. What did he say? He made an unusual statement. Well, from what I recall, it was to defend the Constitution.

But by defending the Constitution, you have to recognize that there's a chain of command and order of authority there. The Constitution lays that out. And the president is the commander-in-chief. He said he took an oath to an idea. Oh, that's right. He did say that. He did not say he took an oath to the Constitution. He said to an idea. That's true.

Milley is seditious. And this letter proves it. Yes. In general, if you're watching, at least half of the country does not trust you. We don't believe you have America's best interests at heart. That's half the United States. And he would call the Chinese to warn them about Trump? Yes.

So, I mean, how much more, what other evidence would, if it's any other country, if it was Russia, if it was China, and your top general said, I'm going to fight from the inside, what do you think would happen to them? We can't say it on this show. Right. All right? We can't say it. So now.

But I'll tell you what another world leader said. The president of Hungary was here in the United States. Man, the leftists hate him. Oh, he is. George Soros hates him. We're talking about Viktor Orban. Yes. And he spoke at the Texas CPAC conference.

And we can't show you the entire speech, but he's got some great lines in the speech. This is, we'll show you what, maybe about four minutes of President Orban's speech. First and foremost, we need to trust our Judeo-Christian teachings. They help us decide what actions are right and what actions are wrong. If you believe in God, you also believe that we humans were created in God's image. Therefore, we have to be brave enough to address even the most sensitive questions – migration, gender and the clash of civilizations. Don't worry, a Christian politician cannot be racist. So we should never hesitate to heavily challenge our opponents on these issues. Be sure Christian values protect us from going too far.

Moreover, we know that at the end of our lives, the moment will come when all our actions will be judged. So you can't do anything, you have limits. As Clint Eastwood said, a man has got to know his limitations. But unfortunately, the left in politics does not know any limitations. But there is one thing I have learned. We cannot fight successfully by liberal means, because our opponents use liberal institutions, concept and language to disguise their Marxist and hegemonist plans. Politics, my friend, are not enough. This war is a culture war. We have to revitalize, we have to revitalize our churches, our

families, our universities and our community institutions. Hungary Hungary is an old, proud, but David-sized nation standing alone against the vogue globalist Goliath. We invite the solidarity of the American Conservatives. They are in total attack, so we need a total defence. You have to be brave. If you feel fear, you have a job to do. The only thing we Hungarians can show you is how to fight back by our own rules. Hungarian state institutions are obliged to protect the Christian culture of Hungary. Hungary shall protect the institution of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Family ties shall be based on marriage or the relationship between parents and children. leave our kids alone. Full stop, end of discussion. The world has several great nations, but none with the power and influence of the United States. For better or for worse, the world looks to you for the future. And the future of the West is in grave doubt. We in the West have not faced a crisis like this for a long time. The ideological wars of the 20th century against the totalitarian powers of Nazi Germany and Soviet Union were terrible. But democratic West rallied and defeated them both. Now the West is at war with itself.

We have seen what kind of future the globalist ruling class has to offer. But we have a different future in mind. The globalists can all go to hell. I have come to Texas. And of course, the pukes on the left, they have labeled this particular CPAC conference the authoritarian conference, mainly because of Victor Orban, who was invited by Donald Trump to appear at CPAC.

Who had the nerve to say, a woman is a woman, a man is a man, and leave our kids alone. And so CPAC needs to come to a come to Jesus moment. They got to get rid of their drag queen showing up at these events. Right. So they still have that going on. Well, I don't know if they did it this one or not. But one of the articles that were leading up to it, the article is her fewer drag queens, more John Wayne. And so, now another one of the special speakers at this year's Texas CPAC was Nigel Farage.

And he was speaking directly to the Marxist implementation of class division and racial division. And leading up to this particular clip, he had talked about how critical race theory coming in schools was making white people the enemy of America. And that's a typical principle of Marxism, to blame a certain group or class within a culture. Mr. Farage, always popular at these events, goes in his own way in explaining this is simply what it is. This is a Marxist takeover of America. It's aimed at harmony. This is not accidental. What is going on and it's happening in the US,

it's happening in Canada, it's happening in the UK, it's happening in Australia, it's happening in New Zealand. it's happening in Australia, it's happening in New Zealand. It is the English-speaking countries that have got this terrible virus, worse than anywhere else in the world. This is a Marxist attempt to break Western civilisation, a Marxist attempt to destroy everything that we are. And we are going to fight back hard against it, aren't we?

Well, and I would say to that, we've had two years of Marxist rule here because of the COVID nonsense that's been going on. In several of those countries that he mentioned, Australia and New Zealand, they've been at the forefront of implementing these Marxist principles. And Australia had a conservative prime minister.

Right. So we've got to get real about who we're fighting. It's not just leftists. Yes. This is a new ism. It's not just communism. It's not just Marxism or socialism. This is a new ism. And it has allies on the political right

and the political left. And they're seeking to establish a new global regime that strips away the freedom and liberty of seven billion people. And that's what we're fighting. And I don't care which side they're on, I don't care which party label they have. If they want to take away my freedom, they are my enemy. And I've got to fight them. And you can't show favoritism to one and attack the other. You have to let both

of them know that the people are against their agenda. President Trump also spoke at the Texas CPAC. Let's watch. We are a nation in decline. We are a nation that has the highest inflation in over 40 years. Where the stock market just finished the worst first half of a year in more than five decades. We are a nation that has the highest energy cost in its history, and we are no longer energy independent or energy dominant, which we were just two short years ago. We are a nation that is begging Venezuela and Saudi Arabia for oil.

We are a nation that surrendered in Afghanistan, leaving behind dead soldiers and American citizens and $85 billion worth of the finest military equipment in the world. We are a nation that allowed Russia to devastate a country, Ukraine, killing hundreds of thousands of people, and it will only get worse. We are a nation that has weaponized its law enforcement against the opposing political party like never before. We've never seen anything like this.

We are a nation that no longer has a free and fair press. Fake news is about all you get. We are a nation where free speech is no longer allowed, where crime is rampant like never before, where the economy has been collapsing, where more people died of COVID in 2021 than in 2020. We're a nation that is allowing Iran to build a massive nuclear weapon and China to use the trillions and trillions of dollars it's taken from the United States to build a military to rival our own. So if you were at Texas CPAC, that was the introduction to President Trump. And while we were watching that, you made the comment that that wasn't morning in America.

That was not Reagan's morning in America. That's darkness in America. I mean, what he's saying is true. I don't know if that's the message the people want to hear right now. I think the message that people want to hear right now is that we're going to come out of this. We know how dark it is.

And we know that if we don't win this battle, we will be trapped in darkness. I think everybody already knows that. What people are waiting for is a message of hope that we can retake the high ground and restore biblical values in America. That's what's missing, biblical values. This country was great when we had biblical values. We now have satanic values. It's just that simple. When it's satanic values, things are dark. When it's biblical values, things are bright. And it's a

battle between two spiritual forces. Satan and Almighty God. We have some clips from President Trump's speech at the Texas CPAC. I think in this one he's talking about World War III. Well, talking about World War III, so let's listen.

We could end up in World War III because we are being governed by incompetent people. Could happen. And this war will be worse than any war ever because we have weapons the likes of which nobody has ever seen before. But you say, where does it stop? Where does it end? It probably doesn't stop because despite great outside dangers, our biggest threat remains the sick, sinister and evil people from within our own country. So three things to take away from just that comment, that President Trump believes that we are rapidly moving toward World War III under the current principles of the Biden administration.

Secondly, we got weapons you know nothing about that are going to cause more destruction than you can possibly imagine. And then the third thing, that this is moving at a rapid pace here. And he also said we have enemies within the country. Within the country. All that within what? About 15 seconds of a soundbite there. Another soundbite from the CPAC conference here. This is President Trump speaking about Biden's embarrassing Afghanistan withdrawal.

And it sets up the stage for this. Listen to this. They surrendered our strength and our everything, our dignity, and turned Afghanistan into the greatest humiliation our country has ever seen. Not the fact that we were leaving, because I was the one that got us down to a small number of soldiers, but we were going to leave with strength and with dignity, and we were going to keep Bagram,

not for Afghanistan, but because China's nuclear plants are one hour away, where they make their nuclear weapons, one hour away. It's one of the biggest airfields anywhere in the world. Costs us billions of dollars many years ago. I was going to keep Bagram. And you know who's occupying Bagram right now? China!

And the fake news doesn't want to mention it. But the way we left was a virtual surrender. When you leave, you don't take your soldiers out first. You take your soldiers out last after the Americans get out. And you take your soldiers out after your equipment is taken out. And all of that was happening. This is the most incredible blunder. And the fake news doesn't want to write about it

because that's bad for them. Look, you don't even hear about it. I'll say it again. It wasn't a blunder. It was deliberate. Yes. Another comment from President Trump regarding the current energy crisis

is regarding everything that's happening here. Socialism is moving us down the pike to be like every other socialist failure in the world. President Trump talked about we're about to become Venezuela on steroids here. So as we gather tonight, our country is being destroyed more from the inside than out.

America is on the edge of an abyss and our movement is the only force on earth that can save it. This movement right here, what we do in the next few months and the next few years will determine whether American civilization will collapse or fail or whether it will triumph and thrive, frankly, like never before. This is no time for complacency. We cannot be complacent. We have to seize this opportunity to deal with the radical left, socialist lunatics and fascists,

and we have to hit them very, very hard. Has to be a crippling defeat because our country cannot take it. You remember when I was campaigning, and again, we did much better in the second election than we did in the first, by many millions of votes. Much, much better. I used to say,

not thinking this could even be very possible, but it always had a chance. It will be Venezuela, large scale or Venezuela on steroids. That's what's happening to our country. It's not even thinkable. We have to take this chance to shatter the corrupt Washington establishment once and for all. We have to run aggressive, unrelenting, and boldly populist campaigns. Populist, we want to be populist.

We want to love our country. That's what we want. And we have to throw off the shackles of globalism and reassert two very important words. You know what the words are? America first. It's a very simple thing. One of the biggest rounds of applause he got at CPAC was his comments regarding, of course,

this is a topic that's every parent's concern right now is what's happening in schools right now with the critical race theory and all this other socialist garbage that they're force feeding down our kids' throats out there. But he put out there, we should just get rid of the whole Department of Education, just the whole thing.

And that got the biggest round of applause there. So watch this. Across the country, we need to implement strict prohibitions on teaching inappropriate racial, sexual and political material to America's school children in any form whatsoever. And if federal bureaucrats are going to push this radicalism, we should abolish the Department of Education. So I think just in a handful of these soundbites that we've shared here today, did we just hear the campaign platform for Donald Trump for president in 2024? It's going to be a very strong anti-communist,

anti-socialism, pro-free enterprise campaign. He's not going to talk about the wall. He's not going to talk about a lot of the things that he discussed in 2016 and some in 2020. This time, it is going to be an all-out assault against socialism and radical Marxism in the country. So this is lining up to be a clash between two worldviews, one of freedom and liberty, free enterprise, and one of socialism, Marxism, big government. And while we're talking about big government, over the weekend, the Democrats passed a massive bill that they actually had the nerve to call the inflation reduction bill.

Which even the Congressional Budget Office itself said it won't reduce inflation. Well, how can you pass a law to reduce inflation? You can't. You can't pass a law to reduce inflation in the first place. But excessive government spending is what caused the inflation to start with. And really, they should rename this the Green Bill Light. Because really, it's the whole green energy bill that they were trying to pass two years ago. They've just scaled it down a little bit, but it's still on the inside.

The guts are still the same. Is there anybody out there who really thinks, oh, Congress just passed a bill to reduce inflation. I guess the cost of my groceries will be going down next week. Rick, there are people who believe that, though. I guess there are. But hopefully there's not that many.

Senator Tom Cotton told us what's in the bill. Eighty-seven thousand additional IRS tax agents. Right. Higher taxes. Massive energy slush fund. He said, anyone who says this bill reduces inflation is lying. Very obvious statement there, Senator Cotton. And then Senator Ted Cruz, he was on Fox Business News. And he described it as a massive power grab.

And there's one statement in here that I want you to see here, Doc. We'll read two quotes here from this article. So in an interview on Fox News Channel's Sunday Morning Futures, Senator Ted Cruz slammed the $700 billion Inflation Reduction Act, a scaled-down iteration of the Build Back Better Act. Cruz told host Maria Bartiromo that the legislation was terrible and a massive power grab by the Democrats because it would raise gas prices and double the size of the Internal Revenue Service. That's what I want you to see, double the size of the IRS. Now, wait till you see how big the IRS is going to become.
