Some major development today in the history of the

United States of America when a House committee recommending that the United States Justice Department should arrest and imprison the former president of the United States of America. It just happened hours ago. Hey, Doc Burkhardt is not with me here tonight. Doc went home earlier today, not feeling well. So please pray for Doc. He had a fever and just was not at his best. So hopefully he'll be back here tomorrow or Wednesday.

But I've got lots of news to report to you today. So let's take a look at what happened a few hours ago with the House Select Committee. This is ABC News. January 6th Committee condemns Trump as the central cause of insurrection. Notice that word right there. That's what I want you to see, insurrection.

That's what they are accusing Donald Trump of committing, insurrection. And I'll tell you in a few minutes why the Democrats are harping on that word, insurrection. ABC said in their report this afternoon after the House committee vote that after investigating for more than a year, the House committee that was probing the January 6th attack culminated its sweeping investigation by announcing it would make multiple criminal referrals to the U.S. Department of Justice against former President Donald Trump on multiple charges related to his actions surrounding the riot at the Capitol. ABC went on to say that the charges include obstruction of an official proceeding,

conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to make a false statement, and insurrection. They issued a sweeping 160-page summary explaining its finding and labeled Donald Trump as the central cause of the January 6th capital disturbance. ABC also said, they quoted the report as saying, quote, that evidence has led to an overriding and straightforward conclusion. The central cause of January 6th

was one man, former President Donald Trump, who many others followed. None of the events of January 6th would have happened without him, the summary said. Now, a year ago, when this House committee was appointed and they began this investigation, if you remember, Doc and I said that where the Democrats were going, and with the help of some Republicans also, was that they were going to legally label Donald Trump as an insurrectionist. They've laid the groundwork now for nearly two years that he's an insurrectionist. Now, this term insurrection keeps coming up.

What happened on January 6th was not an insurrection. It was a disturbance. It was a protest that got out of control. But it was not an insurrection. If it was an insurrection, well, people would have gone there heavily armed and quite prepared to give up their lives in an attempt to overthrow the government of the United States. Nobody was trying to overthrow the government of the United States. Nobody was trying to overthrow the government of the United States. It was a protest that got out of control. But the Democrats and the people who hate Donald Trump

made it their cause to label Donald Trump an insurrectionist. And that is a legal term. And it's a constitutional term because following the Civil War the Fourteenth Amendment was added to the Constitution and it was passed by states and ratified to prevent Confederates members of the Confederate Army anybody that was in the Confederacy of the South, to prevent them from running for public office. They wanted to make sure that no Confederates ran for the US House and Senate. And so the 14th Amendment was passed.

And also, of course, they didn't want a Confederate running for the presidency. So the 14th Amendment was added to the Constitution. It says other things besides insurrection, but insurrection is part of the 14th Amendment. And again, the sole purpose of it was to make sure that members of the Confederacy in the Civil War were never elected to federal office. Now, most people have never thought about the 14th Amendment,

you know, in their entire lifetime. With the event that happened on January 6th, the haters of Donald Trump realized they had an opportunity to block Donald Trump from ever running for public office again. If they could label him an insurrectionist, if they could get a court indictment or get a Justice Department indictment, if they could get a court conviction that he would be legally labeled an insurrectionist, he would be forever banned from running for public office. That's the plan. That's the agenda. And that's what happened today. They've been working on this for two years.

The committee has been in existence for one year. And now the final report at the end of 2022, and they have laid out the case to legally brand Donald Trump as an insurrectionist, thereby disqualifying him from ever running for public office again. If you understand that, you understand what happened today. Let's move on. The January 6th committee also referred four members, four Republicans, members of the House, referred their names to the House Ethics Committee for violations.

And one of the people that was referred is Congressman McCarthy, the man that is expected to become the Speaker of the House in a few weeks. This story from Politico says says the January 6th Select Committee says four House Republicans, including Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, violated congressional ethic rules by defying subpoenas for testimony and documents. The panel referred the lawmakers for review by the Bipartisan Ethics Committee, which is seen as

unlikely to take action against the members. In addition to McCarthy, three other members, lawmakers were referred for defying subpoenas, Congressman Scott Perry of Pennsylvania, Jim Jordan of Ohio, and Andy Biggs of Arizona. Professor Jonathan Turley wrote an essay, an op-ed about what is happening in social media. And it's entitled, Censor or Else? Democratic members warn Facebook not to backslide on censorship. The Democrats are terrified that Facebook and other social media platforms are going to go the way of Twitter and actually allow conservatives to have free speech.

And they're warning Facebook and other social media platforms, do not backslide. Do not go back to, listen to what they're saying, don't go back to free speech. You stay the line with censorship. That's the party line, censorship. Now, I want you to see what Professor Turley said.

He said, with the restoration of free speech protections on Twitter, panic has grown on the left that its control over social media could come to an end. Now, some of the greatest advocates of censorship in Congress are specifically warning Facebook not to follow Twitter and restoring free speech to its platform. The professor went on to say, in a chilling letter from Representatives Adam Schiff, of course, Adam Schiff, the man that makes up stories and inserts them into the congressional record. Andre Carson, Kathy Castor, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse.

Facebook was given a not so subtle threat that reducing its infamous censorship system will invite congressional action. You get the point there? These members of Congress wrote a letter to Facebook saying, if you go back and restore the accounts of conservatives, we're going to investigate your company. The letter to Meta's president of global affairs, Nick Clegg, is written on congressional stationery as part of our ongoing oversight efforts. Nick Clegg, he was a former, he's a former leader of the Liberal Party in Great Britain. I didn't know he was at Meta.

Professor Turley goes on to say, with House Republicans pledging to investigate social media censorship when they take control in January, these four Democratic members are trying to force Facebook to recommit to censoring opposing views and to make election censorship policies permanent. Otherwise, they suggest they may be forced to exercise oversight into any move by Facebook to alter or roll back certain misinformation policies. Wow. The Dems play hardball and they don't want they thought that they were at the place

that they had abolished free speech in this country they've suffered a setback but I'm not so sure this Twitter reprieve is going to last much longer I'll talk about that here in a minute but I want to go over to a story from Fox News about reprieve is going to last much longer. I'll talk about that here in a minute.

But I want to go over to a story from Fox News about Twitter. FBI facing subpoenas after Twitter files, according to Congressman Mike Turner. Congressman Mike Turner said the FBI is facing subpoenas after the Twitter files released by CEO Elon Musk showed the coordination that was occurring between the FBI and the social media company. I mean, I'm not going to, I don't have time in today's show to go through all of the Twitter files. We'd be here for hours. I'm sure many of you have been reading them. But it's overwhelmingly obvious that the FBI was treating Twitter as a subsidiary of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. investigation. I'm not surprised, but I am stunned reading the correspondence between FBI agents and

Twitter executives. Everything that we suspected turned out to be true. And the government and Twitter and Facebook and all these social media companies, they're all in bed together, and they're making sure that you and I are not heard, that our voices are silenced, that there's no free speech in this country. And this means the end of freedom and liberty in our country. So Congressman Turner says that the Republicans, when they take control of the House in January, are going to open up investigations into the FBI and Twitter. Yeah, maybe. I expect a public display of concern. They'll carry out some hearings and investigate, but nothing's going to happen.

At the end of the day, nothing's going to happen. Congressman Turner was on Fox News this Sunday with Maria Bartiromo, and this is what he had to say about getting their hands on documents showing how the FBI was manipulating Twitter. And we begin this Sunday morning with corruption in America's most important intelligence agencies and what Congress is planning to do about it.

The FBI, the CIA, the NIH, the Department of Homeland Security, all under fire for abusing their power, colluding with big tech to change a presidential election, to suppress truth and amplify lies, all the while targeting ordinary Americans who do not agree with the narrative and encouraging a free-for-all of America with wide open borders, while also funding a deadly virus and then participating in a cover-up of it. As the year comes to a close, it is time for some answers. Here's former DNI John Ratcliffe on this program last weekend.

This was a domestic disinformation campaign. It involved Democrats like Adam Schiff on the House Intelligence Committee. It involved members of the media. It involved, you know, according to FBI whistleblowers, FBI agents. And it, of course, involved Twitter and all of these working in concert, putting their not just thumb on the scale, but entire hand on the scale to mislead the American people in the weeks and months preceding a presidential election. Well, a sad state of affairs this weekend. More Twitter files were revealed with evidence of the FBI directing Twitter,

which accounts to censor and which narratives to amplify. House Republicans are set to launch multiple investigations in the coming weeks into the origins of COVID-19, the U.S. funding of the deadly viruses in Wuhan, and the clear abuse of power and collusion between the FBI and social media companies to change an election. Joining me right now is the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee. He is Congressman Mike Turner, expected to be the chairman of the committee once the Republicans take the majority. Congressman, it is great to see you this morning. Thank you so much for being here. These are all tall orders. And I want to ask you about all of this abuse of power. You're going to be the chairman of the Intelligence Committee and you will have oversight of these agencies. What is your priority and how

will you use subpoena power? Well, our committee became aware of these activities earlier this year, and I want to thank Elon Musk for bringing forward the information that he had, because while we pursue the intelligent community to try to hold them accountable, while we're doing that, Elon Musk is showing what's happening on the other side with the willing partners, the mainstream media, social media, and really exposing the coordination that was occurring between the FBI and them. Now, it is my understanding from our contacts that we've had with the FBI that there are secret files that the FBI has of these contacts that they were having with social media

and with mainstream media. And it has been our objective to get a hold of those files, to see the extent of this so we can stop it. We can cut off the funding and prevent, obviously, average Americans being impacted by FBI actions. They have been resistant to this point, and we certainly intend to pursue subpoena power to expose the extent to which the FBI has been doing this. So you have already then put a request out there for documents from the FBI. Is that what you're saying? What have you learned so far? Well, the FBI had under the cover of saying that they were pursuing foreign malign influence had really exploded into an activities that involved engaging with mainstream media and

social media and really impacting what is the normal debate of democracy. Now, what's very troubling here, in my opinion, this was not based on intelligence. You had John Radcliffe on your own show saying, for example, the Hunter Biden laptop, which the FBI was trying to intervene and saying that was Russia misinformation. He said there was no intelligence that substantiated that. I believe that in the end, we will find that there's no intelligence that supports the FBI doing this, that this is a campaign by the FBI that really is outside of the bounds of anything we would expect them to do. And certainly, you know, very constitutionally troubling.

Yeah, I mean, Elon Musk has revealed a lot, but you've got people like Devin Nunes, even Jack Dorsey, for God's sakes, the former founder, the CEO of the company, saying, you know, release it all. So are you going to subpoena Twitter files? Are you going to subpoena this information so that you have this in your purview to go through? And are you going to subpoena the FBI and DOJ players who were doing this? We are definitely pursuing the Department of Justice and also the FBI. And luckily, the January 6th committee has established some great legal precedent that shows that Congress has full access. So they're going to have very much a difficult time trying to prevent us getting those documents. And I think it will show a very troubling pattern. And we're also going to

be looking for who's the mastermind. And since this is not based on intelligence, this is not for malign actors, that the malign actors turn out to be the FBI themselves. Who is it that's coordinating this? How can we cut off the money, prohibit this in the future? And we will use our subpoena power to track that down and make certain that this doesn't happen again. So you can cut off the money then. You can defund this operation, you believe? Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. And since the Republicans are taking the House, this will be one of the number one targets to make certain that the FBI does not fund this activity, which is clearly beyond the scope of what the FBI should be doing and very constantly troubling. Very interesting. Congressman Turner said he wants to know who's running the operation. I'm glad to hear a leading member of Congress ask that question. It's about time. I waited years for somebody to ask that question. I've got some hints, some suggestions.

I don't know the answer, but the first person I would suggest is Barack Obama. That's the name he ought to consider as the person who's running the operation. But then who does Obama work for? Because Obama's just a hired thug for people with a lot more power and money. So how far up the food chain

is Congressman Turner willing to go? That remains to be seen. Also, Mr. Ratcliffe, who was a member of the House at one time on the House Intelligence Committee, then became the Director of National Intelligence. Good man. I like him. But why didn't he clean house when he had the power to do it? He was Director of National Intelligence.

He was over the CIA. He was over the FBI. He was over all of it. Why didn't he clean house when he had the job? That's a question I'd like an answer. And let's not forget that Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI, was appointed by Donald Trump. Why did Mr. Trump appoint somebody to the FBI who just continued the same corrupt policies that the other FBI directors were carrying out? I mean, who's responsible for this? Why hasn't somebody been put in the FBI that would clean house. Mr. Trump knew that the FBI was corrupt, and then he appointed a director that continued the corruption and protected the people carrying out the corruption.

Why hasn't Christopher Wray, if his hands are clean, why has he not cleaned house at the FBI and reassured the American people that the FBI is not corrupt? These are legitimate questions, and I hope Congressman Turner and others get answers to these questions. But I want to go back to Twitter and the files that they have been releasing. There's Michael Schellenberger is um independent journalist uh writes on substack and he's been doing a great job on this and uh and so this is one of his tweets and tweeter tweeter twitter files number six we saw the fbi relentlessly seek to exercise influence over Twitter, including over its content, its users, and its data. And then another tweet from Mr. Schellenberger. In files number seven,

we present evidence pointing to an organized effort by representatives of the intelligence community aimed at senior executives at news and social media companies to discredit leaked information about Hunter Biden before and after it was published. So what Mr. Schellenberger is saying is that the Twitter file shows that the FBI was actively involved. It organized and carried out a campaign to discredit anybody who talked about the Hunter Biden laptop. Why was the FBI running interference for the Bidens? The FBI's job is to investigate criminal activity. But in this instance, the FBI was actually committing criminal activity by colluding with the other criminals, namely the Bidens, to make sure that their crimes were never revealed to the public. And honest citizens and honest entities, such as the New York Post,

and many honest reporters were smeared. Their names were muddied publicly because they asked questions about Hunter Biden. And that smear job was run by the FBI. A sad story here in America at this time in our nation's history. The next one I have is, this is Zero Hedge, Twitter files, how the FBI moved to quash Hunter Biden laptop, Before and After the New York Post Bombshell. I'm not going to take time to read it. I encourage you to go to Zero Hedge, read this particular article. Lots of details and facts in the Zero Hedge article. Now, the next one is leading up to this one.

This is an NPR report. Elon Musk yesterday asked Twitter users in a poll if he should resign as the chief twit, a Twitter CEO. And the vote was majority said yes, resign. Now this is going to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen done in corporate America in my lifetime. And here's the man, the richest man in the world, spends what, $44 billion to purchase Twitter. Then he has a poll and says, should I quit? Should I resign from the company I just purchased? What? Who does something like that? Who spends $44 billion to buy a company and then ask people? They're not even customers because they don't spend any money.

The real customers are the advertisers. Those are the customers. And of course, the advertisers would say, yeah, you should resign also. But why would he subject himself to that kind of humiliation to say, I'll resign if the people who use this product want me to quit. For real? I just can't believe anybody would do something like that. So the bots, the tens of millions of bots,

not real people, computers, bots. The bots voted out. The bots booted out Elon Musk from his own company. He got booted out by bots. And now he's got himself in a situation where he has to resign to save face from the company he just purchased. Now, I'm going to tell is going on. I think the FBI told him, Elon, your time's up. Yeah, Elon, you've been releasing documents. You're making us look really bad. Your time's up. You got to find a way to get out. Whatever you want to do, you come up with your way to get out. And we will put one of our people in the job of running Twitter.

That's what I think happened. Remember last week, the Antifa-looking guy that was following the car that was transporting Elon Musk's little toddler boy, little ex, and blocked the car and jumped up on the hood of the car wearing a mask. Remember that? Remember Elon Musk a week ago saying, hey, I'm not suicidal. If I die, I didn't kill myself. And he also said, it would be easy to shoot me. Elon Musk got the message in recent days. And so he planned

his own corporate death. That's what happened. That's why he had that ridiculous poll because nobody in the right, you can't be that dumb and become the richest man in the world.

That's not possible because that was the dumbest corporate decision any CEO has ever made in the history of business. So I'm not going to buy into this idea that Elon Musk just decided. I'm going to let the people vote on whether I should be in charge of the company I paid $44 billion to buy. That's just ridiculous. I believe the FBI and others above the FBI simply told Elon Musk, fun time's over. You've released enough documents. You've restored too many accounts

it's time for you to go bye you figure out how you're going to get out of it or we'll take care of it for you and so he came up with this ridiculous plan I'll let the people vote and then the bots said you're out

so free speech is over again it's over If you got restored, congratulations, but they're going to install another censorship freak who will go back to running Twitter just like it was being run in previous years. And anybody who tells the truth about the regime will be deplatformed and censored and removed. And only those who drink the Kool-Aid

and believe the lies will be allowed to express their views confirming that the lies are true. That's the sense of unreality that we live in right now. If you believe the lies, you're allowed to speak as long as you're affirming the lies. If you drink the Kool-Aid and you believe everything that the regime is telling you, you have freedom of speech. You can say anything you want to say. But if you question the lies,

if you refuse to drink the Kool-Aid, if you say, I still am in possession of my right mind and I'm not going to go insane believing your stuff, you will not have free speech. And so the short period of freedom, freedom of speech on Twitter that we've seen in the past two months, it's over.

It's over. It's done. It just ended. It ended last night. You're not going to see many more files released. It's over. Elon Musk got the message. Get out of here or we'll take you out.

And that's the way the boys play in the world that we're living in today. But we're fighting for democracy, remember? This is all about democracy. We blow up countries around the world for democracy. And yet here in America, we crush anybody that dares to express what they believe. Jerusalem Post, this is an interesting article I saw today in the Jerusalem Post. World order, order. The world order is on the verge of a cliff, according to Israel's first national intelligence assessment. The world order is on the verge of a cliff? Yeah, let's read a few

paragraphs from the Jerusalem Post. The world is at a transition point, anogalous to being on the verge of a cliff after which a series of crisis-striking simultaneously will reorder the planet's geopolitics, the place of technology, the economic order, in a variety of other disciplines from health to energy, according to Israel's first governmental

national intelligence estimate. So the Israeli intelligence community is saying, the world is about to change. The world order is just hanging. The existing world order is just hanging on the edge of a cliff. We're about to go into another type of world order. And it's going to reorder the planet's geopolitics and technology and the economic order of the world. It's a big statement coming from the Israelis. It goes on to say, the report was published by the intelligence ministry in the vein of the type of reports issued

in the United States and other Western countries. Copy was obtained by the Jerusalem Post. And the recommendations were presented to a special conference on Monday, including officials from all of the arms of Israel's defense and intelligence branches. So this is a major intelligence report. And of course, it was leaked to the Jerusalem Post. They didn't just happen to walk into a room and find a copy of it on a desk.

Somebody gave the Jerusalem Post a copy of it. The article says a schedule for the closed conference obtained by the Post indicated that an unnamed top intelligence official, usually reserved for Mossad or Shembet, officials will be present and present the report. And it also says former IDF Intelligence Chief Amos Yadlin, former National Security Council Director Yaakov Amador, Intelligence Minister Elazar Stern, and Intelligence Ministry Director General Alex Dan,

as well as some foreign intelligence officials, were among the presenters. Let's switch over to World War III, this report from Russia Today. The United States has put itself and Russia on the brink of a direct clash. I don't think I need to analyze that report, but I'll read the first paragraph from it. Washington's dangerous and short-sighted policy has put it on the brink of a direct clash with Moscow, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman

Maria Zakharova. She said that today, responding to U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price, who blamed Russia last week for making relations between the two countries unstable and predictable. Russian President Vladimir Putin traveled to neighboring country Belarus today, and there was a speculation about the purpose of the meeting between Mr. Putin and Belarusian President Lukashenko. There's been talk in the Ukrainian media what's left of it and other European media that the Russians are preparing a massive military offensive

for early January, a 200,000-man army to invade Ukraine at the beginning of the new year. Some people believe that they're going to make an attempt to capture the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. But there was little information revealed today after the meeting. I'll tell you what little we do know. This is Interfax. Putin said that Russia is not interested in absorbing Belarus. That's an interesting statement. No, I didn't come here to absorb Belarus. Some of the speculation has been that Belarus is going to join Russia, become part of Russia. In other words, Belarus will become like a state inside the Russian Federation. Mr. Putin is saying, no, that's not true. We're not here to absorb Belarus. Sputnik News, however, reported that Russian ships have been seen sailing for joint drills,

seen with Chinese Navy, or will be drilling with the Chinese Navy next week, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. And a quote from that Sputnik article says, a detachment of ships from Russia's Pacific fleet is headed toward the East China Sea to participate in Russian Chinese naval drills from December 21st to 27.

Wow. Right there in Christmas week. The Russian defense ministry said today, the ministry noted that the main purpose of the exercise is to strengthen Russian-Chinese naval cooperation and to maintain peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region. Also, Russia Today reported that Russia will ramp up military cooperation with its closest ally this is going back to Belarus so

according this article one thing that mr. Putin and mr. Lukashenko talked about today was military cooperation. More army drills with Belarus are to be held, Vladimir Putin said. Russia and Belarus will continue their joint exercises, which are intended to boost the combat readiness of their militaries. Russian President Putin said Monday in Minsk during a press conference with Alexander Lukashenko, the Russian president revealed that Moscow and Minsk had already activated an integrated air defense and warning system and that Russia might soon train pilots from Belarus

on airplanes modified to use special ammunition. I don't know what that is. Special ammunition. The article from RT also said the two members of the Union state will continue to practice regular joint exercises and other measures designed to increase military readiness. Joint military planning is ongoing within the framework of implementing the common military doctrine of Russia and Belarus. The joint regional grouping, a formation that includes soldiers from both countries stood up in October, is carrying out exercises to further promote

combat readiness. Mr. Lukashenko has said numerous times that Belarusian soldiers will not participate in the war in Ukraine. I guess we'll have to wait for another few months to see if he's going to hold up on that promise. A lot of people think that Belarusian soldiers will join an invasion force at the beginning of 2023. We'll have to wait and see. Now, okay, number nine. This is Chinese warships spotted in the East Sea. This actually goes with the story I mentioned a few minutes ago. This is South China Morning Post.

So nine Chinese warships spotted in the East Sea one week ahead of joint drills with Russia. So Chinese Navy's on the move, the Russian Navy's on the move. They're getting together for joint drills, December 21st through the 27th. Could we have the outbreak of a war on Christmas week? I hope not. I pray we get through this year. We got two more weeks. Let's just get through this year without a nuclear war. And then we can go into 2023

and hopefully we'll get through that year also without a nuclear war. But it's not just Russia and the United States, China and the United States, China and the United States, Russia and NATO that are ready to launch nuclear weapons towards each other. This is an article.

I found this today out of New Delhi TV, NDTV. Pakistan's ruling party leader threatens India with nuclear war. What? Is there insanity in the water? What is going on with these political leaders threatening to blow up another country with nuclear weapons? Our nuclear status is not meant to remain silent. We will not back down if the need arises. This woman in Pakistan said, we have atomic bombs and we made them to be used. They're not going to remain silent. We're not going to back down.

We're prepared to use them. Look, here we are. We're expecting nuclear war to break out between the United States and Russia. And a possible war between China between the United States and Russia, and a possible war between China and the United States. But we forget about India and Pakistan, that at any time, those two could go to war with each other using nuclear weapons and their neighbors.
