This is True News, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us God.
I'm Rick Wiles.
Today is Thursday, October 5th, 2023.
A growing number of Americans believe that the doomsday clock is inching its way closer
to midnight.
Nearly three-fourths of Americans questioned in a recent poll expect
some type of catastrophic calamity to strike the USA within the next year. The public is displaying
signs of anxiety and stress as the nation's polarization widens, a former president is facing a prison sentence of 500 years,
and Russia preps its population to survive a devastating nuclear war with NATO nations.
A recent poll by BonusFinder.com revealed that an overwhelming majority of American citizens
have no faith in the U.S. government to protect the American people from a national disaster.
Nearly half of Americans are actively learning how to find food in the wild, hunting and fishing techniques, and how to purify water.
One-fifth of the respondents said that they are studying how to build emergency shelters.
Let's take a look at the bonusfinder.com poll.
Doc Burkhardt is here.
Doc, some amazing numbers.
Yes, this was a fascinating article that you found, Rick.
As you can see the headline there, American Apocalypse, 71% don't trust U.S. government continue to be a chaotic subject, and a new poll is finding that the majority of Americans are rapidly losing faith in their country's leaders.
From the ousting of the Speaker of the House to the mounting controversies engulfing the current president and his predecessor,
over 7 in 10 people say there's no one they trust to save them from an end of the world event such problems only push
the so-called doomsday clock to tick closer to end times doc let's just pause right there
seven in ten people who responded this poll said that there's no one they trust to save them from an end of the world event that means 70 percent of the people don't know
jesus christ i'm just going to say that rick yes you're right they don't know who to trust
there is someone that they can trust from an end of the world event and it is the only person you can trust. Absolutely. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
On a negative side, this looks terrible.
Three-fourths of the American people are expecting an end of the world event possibly in the next year.
But from a positive viewpoint, this tells me three-fourths of the people are ready to hear about a Savior.
Yes, that's the exciting part.
They're ripe. They're ripe to hear the gospel. It's just that the churches aren't telling them
about a Savior, because the churches are afraid to talk about the end of the world.
They're afraid that the public won't listen to them. It's just the opposite. The public wants to hear somebody talk about the end of the world.
So if you look out the front door of your house, up and down your street, the neighbors on your street,
seven out of ten of your neighbors have incredible anxiety about these times that we're living in.
That makes them perfect opportunities for the gospel of Jesus
Christ. Absolutely. That's why we've got to move forward with the Daniel 11 microchurches.
The people are ripe to hear the gospel. They don't look, they're going to go one way or the other.
They're going to follow a tyrant or they're going to follow a savior. Right.
Somebody's going to come along and offer them security.
Either a demagogue, a political demagogue,
or a spiritual savior.
So the opportunity is before us as Christians
to tell the public,
your only hope is Jesus Christ.
Yes.
Your only hope.
It's not in a political leader, not a politician, not a party, not an election.
Jesus Christ.
Let's take a look at the numbers in this poll.
Yes.
So according to a survey of 6,200 Americans conducted by BonusFinder.com, 71.2% of Americans
say they have no faith in the U.S. government to save them or prevent a doomsday event.
Even more unnerving, many respondents believe doomsday could come, Rick, within the next year.
That was one of the things that stood out in my reading of this article.
People are nervous about 2024.
Yes.
As for what's causing so many people to get ready for the potential end of the
world, over 16% of respondents say social media and the content they consume on these platforms
has convinced them to take action. One in 10 say watching the news led them to start doomsday
prepping, while 7.7% cite their family and 4.6% credit watching certain movies.
Now leading the pack, Nebraska emerged as the most prepared with 51.35% of respondents
indicating they've begun or are considering doomsday preparation.
This was really interesting to me that when you see the article, they have a map of the United States and they
have each state color-coded for the responses of the people.
What surprised me is that the percentages of people expecting a disaster and the percentages
of people prepping to survive a disaster vary from state to state.
Yes. It's really weird how that worked out.
I mean, you would think states like Texas would be at the top.
Right.
It wasn't. The number one state is Nebraska.
Right. And close behind, Montana and New Mexico also ranked pretty high on the list of states preparing for catastrophic events, with 50% and 47.5% of their residents making or contemplating preparations.
Now, on the flip side, Oklahoma appeared least prepared, with a mere 28.38% of respondents indicating they've stored or intend to stockpile supplies
idaho followed closely with only 29.41 percent contemplating preparations so out of 50 states
the least prepared are oklahoma and idaho i never would have imagined that i wouldn't have either
and so now i wonder how they're defining prepared, though.
I mean, there's prepared, and then there's being really prepared.
I mean, are you prepared for a day, a week, a month?
Well, the poll goes into the details.
When you dig down into it, you'll see the details.
Right. see the details right um so we're seeing a a difference in states inside the usa in their
anticipation of a catastrophic event we also see a difference in preparation so people what is it
doc why why in nebraska why are the citizens of nebr Nebraska leading the way in America being prepared?
Because there's a whole bunch of missile silos in Nebraska and Montana and Wyoming.
Now, that's some good thinking.
I mean, you can drive down any major road in Nebraska and you'll see a missile silo.
I mean, they're all over Nebraska.
So they know they're ground zero.
That's right.
So the same question has to be asked.
Why Oklahoma and Idaho?
Why are they the least prepared?
What's the attitude there?
That's the part I couldn't figure out.
You would think, Idaho.
Especially Idaho.
I thought Idaho would be up in the top five.
Right. I would think the least prepared states would be states like on the eastern seaboard
or something like that. But according to this, it's Oklahoma and Idaho.
Well, the main thing that stands out to me is that three-fourths of the American people
do not trust the U.S. government to protect them from
a catastrophic event. And an equal number of people are anticipating that a catastrophic event
will occur in the next 12 months. The next 12 months. So there's a lot of apprehension in the American people about the year 2024.
And so if you're looking at over 70 percent, that's Democrats, Republicans and independents.
Yes.
It crosses the political divide.
People are worried.
They're nervous.
They know that something big is coming.
They're watching the prosecution of Donald Trump.
Yes.
And they're wondering, where is this going to go?
If they lock up the former president, are we going into a civil war?
Obviously, there are people who are getting past the, the,
the news embargo from the news media,
right?
Because they're aware of the possibility of nuclear war.
So talk programs like true news.
We're having a bigger impact than we realize.
Cause you're not going to know about nuclear war by watching sin CNN or Fox
news or CBS news. You're not going to know about nuclear war by watching CNN or Fox News or CBS News.
You're not going to know about it.
So people are bypassing the news embargo.
And they're getting information and they're realizing something really ominous is moving this way.
I was surprised at the high number of Americans who said that they're learning how to find food.
Yes.
Foraging.
It actually says foraging.
Yeah, learning skills like hunting and fishing.
I would like, now I'm interested in doing the research on, say, YouTube videos.
What's the number of views that YouTube videos are getting on how to forage for food, on
learning how to fish, how to hunt?
This means you've got a lot of people in cities and suburbs who have never hunted, never fished,
never farmed, and they're saying, I better learn how to do it. And also a high number of people teaching themselves how to build emergency shelters.
Yes.
What happens if I lose my house?
What if I have to move and start over?
I have a family.
What do I do if I have to go out into the woods, into rural areas?
And how do I shelter my children i'm quite i'm really surprised that this
is privately going on in the homes you know bonus finder i'm not really well acquainted with it i
took a look at their website it's pretty much a a website that's following pop culture. Right. So this is pop culture, Doc.
That means this website has discerned a trend in the public of America.
And they certainly have found one here, haven't they?
They have.
Now, I wonder why people are worried about eating, where they're going to get food.
I wonder why they're worried about a catastrophic event.
What could be in the news that could be making people think, I might not have a way to feed my children?
This next photograph might show you.
Take a look at this.
I know those of you who are listening by audio, shortwave radio or just a podcast, you can't see it.
But I'm going to tell you what we have on the screen right now.
This is a real photograph from the civil defense drill in Russia yesterday.
And it's a high school gymnasium.
And there are high school students wearing their gas masks. Yes and it's
the old style gas mask with the container on the front. So their white hood gas mask. These are
obviously teenagers that are putting on gas masks being trained by what appears to be military or
police personnel. This is what happened yesterday.
In countless schools across Russia yesterday, they had a nuclear war drill.
And in the high schools, students were taught how to put on gas masks.
Right.
I wonder what the percentage of Russians would be who are preparing for a calamity.
That would be an interesting.
Obviously, it looks like close to 100 percent because this took place yesterday throughout Russia, a major civil defense drill.
And the Russian people were alerted that there is a high probability that there's going to be a nuclear war.
So this is a headline from chilling moment nuke incoming sirens sound and school kids wear gas
masks in war drills as Putin readies Russia for World War III. That's the
headline in the Sun
newspaper. Right.
Americans
and Brits are reading the headline
but the Russians experienced it
yesterday. They lived it.
Here in America
we had a
our phone interrupted us
for five seconds and we had to turn off our phone.

Americanreserves.com. But there it is. That's yesterday in Russia. You see the Russian people
in the shelter. How about your city, your town? Where would you go if Russia started nuking
America tomorrow? Where would you go? Global warming is causing a proliferation of bedbugs in France.
How about this idea?
Maybe it's a plague from God.
Yes.
Maybe God has sent a plague, a pestilence to your nation because your nation is wicked.
I've got mixed feelings about what happened.
Kevin McCarthy, you know, whether he should have been removed or not. It would be the wildest thing we've ever seen. Speaker Donald
Trump. Trump claimed that the judge's law clerk, this is in the New York fraud case. Is dating Chuck Schumer.
Yeah, this one shocked me.
And immediately the judge.
