Starting point is 00:00:00 Here are two massively important products to have in an emergency. Because it's not a matter of if, but when an emergency will happen to you. With years of experience in survival preparedness, let me tell you, these are must haves. One, high quality and nutrient packed shelf stable emergency food buckets. And two, reliable and long lasting water filtration systems. These essentials will make all the difference in an emergency, supplying your loved ones with all the calories and nutrients they need to survive any scenario.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Don't take the risk. Try my favorite America-loving brand, American Reserves, for your emergency food supply needs. Well, whatever happened to the mysterious drones over New Jersey story? Where did the drones go? I don't know, but they're back in the news today. Members of the U.S. Armed Services Committee and the U.S. Senate and U.S. military officials from the Pentagon met privately yesterday to discuss how the Pentagon is responding to drone activity over the United States. News Nation reported that the meeting lasted about an hour and that the senators were tight lipped
Starting point is 00:01:30 about what was discussed in the private meeting. So this is true news for Wednesday, March 26th, 2025. Let's begin our commentary and analysis of today's news headlines by looking at this headline published by News Nation Senators Pentagon discuss mystery drone sighting and I've got a video clip from News Nation The News Nation anchor woman was interviewing a former US Navy fighter pilot Ryan Graves, talking about what happened
Starting point is 00:02:09 late last year with the drones that were flying over various military installations. And in this short interview, it's only a couple of minutes long, I mean, I heard things that I had not heard before. Let's watch. So there seems to be this big disconnect between what the White House is saying about the drones, that they're recreational and FAA approved, and top military officials who say, there's evidence that they're far more sophisticated
Starting point is 00:02:37 in their possibly spying devices. Yeah, that's exactly what I'm interpreting as well. There seems to be this policy of downplaying this issue from the executive branch itself, while individual components from the executive branch, such as the FAA and the DOD, are both proclaiming pretty loudly that they don't know what these are, they're not responsible for them, they haven't authorized these flights. And of course, we can't forget the local politicians and the civilians on the ground that continue to see
Starting point is 00:03:08 these vehicle sized objects flying low over their head and still not having any answers. Yeah, a retired four star general and former fighter pilot said he saw dozens of these drones flying over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia every night, about half an hour after sunset. He says some of them were as big as small cars. Yeah, you know, and that's as much as any individual
Starting point is 00:03:32 representative wants to downplay this as just hobbyist picking something up at Walmart and taking it flying over the house. What we're talking about are very sophisticated objects that have extremely long, later times, ability to stay over their objective. And again, these car-sized objects, these are serious vehicles, these are not toys,
Starting point is 00:03:51 and we have to treat them with the respect that they deserve in case they might be an adversary and in case they're collecting on our sensitive facilities, which might very well be the case. Yeah, we have also reports that 19 naval warships training off the coast of California were shadowed for weeks by dozens of drones. Do you think this is a national security concern?
Starting point is 00:04:13 Because I know a lot of members of the military and retired other retired military like yourself do. Well, the cases that you just brought up echoed to me the same sentiment that we were having when we were having our individual on current is off the coast of Virginia Beach back in the 2013 and 2014 time period. And that area is only 80 miles or so away from Langley Air Force Base. And it was, you know, in my opinion, a national security concern when it was happening back then.
Starting point is 00:04:41 And although we've talked a lot about it on this on the show together, it's still a gaping hole in our national security that we've yet to plug. Yeah we heard Armed Services Committee member Senator Tommy Tuberville in our setup repeat the White House line that it's all fine nothing to see here but committee chair Senator Wicker said on that CBS report that military officials are still mystified about the drones. Rick, do you think this is a national security concern? What do you think?
Starting point is 00:05:13 I was going to ask you the very same question. Duh. Let me think about it. Do you think it's a national security threat? Of course it is. We've got mysterious craft flying over military bases yes but I'd say national security concern but doc I'll tell you something that's even a greater national security threat that we have people in the Pentagon and the White House asking these questions like
Starting point is 00:05:38 this yes but they don't know the answer they they don't know the answer to this question whether it's a national security threat. That's what troubles me. Did you know anything about the the warships off the coast of California? First I heard about it was you earlier when I played the clip and today right I hadn't heard about that. I mean, I heard about the drones over air bases in Europe and things like that, but 19 ships off the California coast were tracked for weeks weeks By drones and and we have officials like in the Pentagon saying well We're not authorized to shoot them down over
Starting point is 00:06:22 You know civilian to shoot them down over, you know, civilian populations. We don't know what to do. Well, what if it's armed with some, what if it has biological warfare agents and a sprayer? Are you authorized to shoot it down then? Are you gonna wait until we're all sprayed like cockroaches? The whole story is so bizarre, but the inaction of the government is even more bizarre. Now, the News Nation
Starting point is 00:07:03 report mentioned CBS News, and so last Sunday, 60 Minutes was focused on this story. And we've got maybe five or six clips from this thing. Here's the hill. Pentagon still mystified as drone drama deepens. Pete And that word mystified shows up in the 60-minute report several times. Mystified. Yes, mystified. Meaning, it's a mystery. We don't know what it is. I don't want anybody at the Pentagon to be mystified.
Starting point is 00:07:33 No. I want them to know that's a bad thing. It needs to come down. It's coming down now. All right. The first one from 60 Minutes, CBS News, 60 Minutes, eyewitness Jonathan Butler talking about the Langley drones. Let's watch. Last month, the head of NORAD and NORTHCOM, the military commands that defend North America,
Starting point is 00:07:59 told Congress some of those mysterious drones seen flying inside the United States may indeed have been spying. He did not say for whom. 60 Minutes has been looking into a series of eerily similar incidents going back years, including those attention-getting flyovers in New Jersey recently. In each, drones first appeared over restricted military or civilian sites, coming and going, often literally under the radar. The wake-up call came just over a year ago
Starting point is 00:08:32 when drones invaded the skies above Langley Air Force Base in Virginia over 17 nights, forcing the relocation of our most advanced fighter jets. Our story starts with an eyewitness and an iPhone. Close around seven o'clock, I would say, I started seeing these reddish-orange flashing lights that were starting to come in from the Virginia Beach area. It began slowly, like one at a time. Jonathan Butner's close encounter with drones came on December 14th, 2023. He was at his family's cabin on the James River in Virginia, about 100 miles south of
Starting point is 00:09:12 Washington D.C., with a commanding view of several military installations across the water. They started really coming in, like almost like on a conveyor belt. How many in total? I probably saw upwards of 40 plus when I first saw that I was like dude those are going directly over Langley Air Force Base Langley is one of the most critical air bases on the East Coast Home to dozens of f-22 Rapt, the most advanced stealth fighter jets ever built.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Butler says from his perch, he has seen it all. I'm very familiar with all the different types of military craft. We have Blackhawks, we have the F-22s, and these were like nothing I've ever seen. Butler took these iPhone videos of the objects coming and going for nearly an hour and a half. These are the only public videos of the drones over Langley. Here's another one from each other. Yes. He shared this video with the FBI for its investigation.
Starting point is 00:10:15 And another. Yes. Now, if it was just limited to eyewitness reports, this could probably be blown off or hidden, not even talked about for years. But you even have high ranking generals that witnessed the drones overlanguely earlier last year. And so- Doc, this man saw- I don't know how they can dismiss this.
Starting point is 00:10:37 This man saw one sighting, 40 drones. Yes. Did anybody inside the military base spot them? Yes. Well, apparently a couple generals did. And what did the generals do? Well, that's the mystery. We reported on this last year, Rick, and they didn't do anything. It's just a complete mystery to me. I watched too many World War two movies you know when the Japanese bombers were coming in or the German Luftwaffe
Starting point is 00:11:13 You know if a general was told Japanese fighter planes Guess what they did they shot at him. They shot him down Guess what they did? They shot at them. They shot them down. Likewise, we had a German sub off the coast of Florida that we fired on back in the 40s. We weren't hesitant in the past to respond to national security threats. There's something different going on here, Rick.
Starting point is 00:11:42 It's really bizarre. The next one, well, our favorite general, Mark, oh no, this is Mark Kelly. Different Mark Kelly. Yes. Different one. Generals Mark Kelly and Glenn Van Hurk tell their Langley drone experience. Let's watch. The reports were coming in 20 to 30 sightings, same time every evening, 30 to 45 minutes after sunset. Retired four-star general Mark Kelly was the highest ranking officer at Langley to witness the swarm.
Starting point is 00:12:17 A veteran fighter pilot, Kelly went up to the roof of a squadron headquarters for an unobstructed view of the airborne invaders. So what'd you see? Well, what you saw was different sizes of incursions of aircraft. You saw different altitudes, different airspeed. Some were rather loud, some weren't near as loud. What was the smallest one? What was the largest one?
Starting point is 00:12:40 The smallest, you know, you're talking about a commercial-size quadcopter, and then the largest ones are probably size what I would call a bass boat or a small car. The size of a small car. At the time, General Glenn Van Hurk was joint commander of NORAD and NORTHCOM, the military commands that protect North American airspace. He has since retired. I actually provided support in the form of fighters,
Starting point is 00:13:07 airborne warning and control platforms, helicopters to try to further categorize what those drones were at the time. Ten months earlier, he ordered an F-22 from Langley to shoot down that Chinese spy balloon over the Atlantic after it had sailed across the US. But this time he found himself ill-equipped to respond. NORAD's radar systems designed during the Cold War
Starting point is 00:13:34 to detect high altitude air, space, or missile attacks were unable to detect low flying drones that could be seen with the naked eye. Why don't we just shoot them down? Well, first, you have to have the capability to detect, track, identify, make sure it's not a civilian airplane flying around. If you can do that, Bill, then it becomes a safety issue
Starting point is 00:13:59 for the American public. Firing missiles in our homeland is not taken lightly. We're not able to track them? We're not able to see where they originate? No, it's a capability gap. Certainly they can come and go from any direction. The FBI is looking at potential options, but they don't have an answer right now. That is the biggest bunch of you know what
Starting point is 00:14:26 I've heard in a long time. A general says, we don't know where they went. We don't, there's a gap. We don't know how to track them. Why are they lying? It's gotta be political, Rick. So he went up on the roof to look at the drones coming in at Langley Air Force Base. Imagine it's December 7th, 1941. There's a sailor on the deck of the USS Arizona. And he
Starting point is 00:15:02 goes to the Admiral and he says, iral, there are a bunch of planes flying towards us and they got big red circles painted on them. Like they're from Japan or something. And the general says, the admiral says, well, hey, we can't, we've got a gap here. We don't know where they came from. We don't know where they're going. And we certainly can't shoot them down over top our naval base. Let's just wait and see what they do. Seriously folks, this general wants us to believe that garbage he just spit out. They don't know what to do. They don't know where to track them. They don't know what to do.
Starting point is 00:15:45 They don't know where to track them. They don't know where they came from. They didn't bother. Nobody jumped in a jet and said, hey, I'm going to follow them. Let's see where they go. Come on. This story, either they are one of two things. Well, the third one is that they're incredibly stupid and competent, forget that, that's not even the case.
Starting point is 00:16:12 One of two things. Either they are lying, they know exactly who they are, what they are, where they came from, or they are deceiving us on purpose. Which one is it? I don't like either one. So they're either lying to us saying we don't know where they came from, we don't know who they are, or they are deliberately selling us a story that they concocted. Which one is it? Well let's walk it through. Let's say it's the Chinese. Let's just say it is the Chinese. If they know it's the Chinese, can they come out and say that?
Starting point is 00:16:52 Well, why not? I would think that I would hope that they would, but I'm not so sure anymore. Well, why not? Just say, hey, the Chinese are messing with us. We've got to put them in their place. But they didn't even offhand blame the Chinese. They had a hard enough time blaming the Chinese for the balloon that transversed the entire continent. OK, so has our military been bought off by the Chinese? Well, Milly was talking to Chinese generals. Are these generals on the payroll of the POA?
Starting point is 00:17:24 to Chinese generals. Are they on? Are these generals on the payroll of the POA? Is this going to be our greatest shock in World War III that our top military leaders were bought off? All right, let's go with the other alternative, that it's our own devices that we're putting up in the sky. Then they're lying to us, they're deceiving us, what is it? Yeah, and what's the purpose of these drones if they're our own? Just to deceive the public or to gather information? What's the purpose of it? And notice that no one's asking those questions. No one's asking, what's the purpose? Only, you know, just saying, well golly gee, what look at that. There's lights in the sky. There's a general at Langley saying, there's lights in the sky flying over Langley. One of the most...
Starting point is 00:18:05 See, thanks a lot. We pay you to defend us, and you can't even defend your military base. Right. Now, earlier in the News Nation report, the female anchor had mentioned that there were a number of incidents that had occurred prior to the plethora of sightings that we saw late last year. This next segment that we have here goes over just a few of those encounters that have happened
Starting point is 00:18:32 over the past several years. And there haven't been answers for similar encroachments for more than five years. There are multiple UAS in vicinity of Paul Hamilton, CPA 100 feet in altitude off the bow. In 2019, naval warships training off the California coast were shadowed for weeks by dozens of drones. We have visual for probable unidentified drones with course unknown and speed unknown. For years, the Pentagon did little to dispel speculation these images, taken with night
Starting point is 00:19:07 vision equipment, were UFOs. But ships' logs show they were identified as drones at the time. And the Navy suspected they came from this Hong Kong-flagged freighter sailing nearby, but couldn't prove it. Since then, the defense news site, The War Zone, has documented dozens of drone intrusions at sensitive infrastructure and military installations. In 2019, the Palo Verde nuclear plant in Arizona, the largest power producer in the country. In 2024, an experimental weapons site in Southern California California where defense contractors are building
Starting point is 00:19:45 the next generation of stealth bombers. Last December, the Army confirmed 11 drone sightings over the Picatinny Arsenal in northern New Jersey where advanced weapons are designed and built. What is that? Which ignited a public frenzy with sightings of unidentified flying objects all over the region. New Jersey remains the epicenter of the drone mystery. While much of the country was fixated on New Jersey, another swarm of drones was disrupting
Starting point is 00:20:16 operations at an air base in the UK, where US nuclear weapons have been stored. Doesn't make me feel real secure, Doc. Well now, think about this, Rick. Back in 2019, you had these ships off the coast of California. They identified drones. They know they're not US drones. Why didn't they shoot those down? They're out in the middle of the ocean.
Starting point is 00:20:42 They're not over the continental United States, right? So there's no danger to anyone. You know, if it crashes and hits a house or something like that, why didn't they knock those drones down back in 2019? Maybe they thought it was a high school science project and they didn't want to mess it up. I don't know, Doc. This does not make me feel secure as an American. We have a military that is incapable of defending us. We have a military that's quite capable of attacking other countries, but they can't shoot down drones. Or at least that's what they're telling us.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Right. How is it that the Ukrainians and the Russians can shoot down each other's drones? How's that possible? I don't know, Doc. Are they just better shots than us? Or, I mean, what is it, Rick? Maybe they actually think the drones plan to hurt them. Yeah, that motivates them, doesn't it?
Starting point is 00:21:47 Well, the next one is Mississippi Republican Senator Roger Wicker. And he said the military is mystified. Senator, that ought to anger everybody to hear a US senator say, I talked to the military about it, and they're mystified. They don't know what to tell us. They're just stumped. They're thinking about it.
Starting point is 00:22:16 The generals are lying in bed at night wondering, what could those things be in the sky? Here's Senator Wicker. Clearly there is a military intelligence aspect of this. Republican Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi is chairman of the Armed Services Committee that oversees the Pentagon. We talked to him this past December. Do you believe that these drones are a spying system, a spying platform? What would a logical person conclude? That. That these are spying incursions.
Starting point is 00:22:54 And yet, I can tell you, I am privy to classified briefings at the highest level. I think the Pentagon and the national security advisors are still mystified. Still mystified. Yes. More alarming, with drones overhead, some of the F-22s stationed at Langley were moved to a nearby air base for their own protection. There's a new wartime reality. Drones that can spy can also
Starting point is 00:23:27 destroy. Deep inside Russia, advanced aircraft have been destroyed by Ukrainian drones. General Van Hurk told us drones could do the same thing here. I have seen video of drones in various sizes flying over the F-22 flight line at Langley. What's your reaction to that? They could drop ordnance on them, drop bombs on them, they could crash into them to disable them. Was that a concern? Absolutely, it's a concern.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Small UAS or drones can do a myriad of missions. President Biden was informed of the Langley intrusions, and meetings were held at the White House to figure out how to bring the drones down. But after 17 nights, the drone visitation stopped. A senior official in the Biden White House later downplayed the incident to 60 minutes, saying it was likely the work of hobbyists. From what you saw, did you rule out that these might be hobbyists sending these drones up? No, it would be my assessment they weren't hobbyists because of the magnitude of the events, the sizes of some of the drones and the duration.
Starting point is 00:24:42 So what's going on? Well, I wish I had the answer. It certainly could have a foreign nexus, a threat nexus. They could be doing anything from surveilling critical infrastructure, just to the point of embarrassing us from the fact that they can do this on a day-to-day basis and then we're not able to do anything about it. Rick, if you drive up to the gate of a military base, let's say you drove up to the gate of a military base,
Starting point is 00:25:10 and you just decided, I'm just going to go through the gate. I'm going to drive my car onto the military base, and go right through the gate. What would happen to you? I would have a lot of bullet holes in me. You're right. But a car can fly over, a car-sized drone can fly over a military base and it's like, golly gee whiz, look at that light.
Starting point is 00:25:31 Something is not adding up here and for the, and the audacity to say that the military is mystified by this just shows how dumb they really think we are. I agree, so Doc, 60 Minutes, CBS News broadcast this segment that we're watching in pieces here. They did a very good job, and they did this this past Sunday. Right. So yesterday, Tuesday, the Senate Armed Services Committee held a closed door meeting with top military officials. So was CBS just lucky that they happened to schedule their drone report, which you know,
Starting point is 00:26:25 this took months to produce. Right. This didn't come together in a couple of days. This took months. Were they lucky that they scheduled their meeting just days before or days, their broadcast went out just a couple of days, two days before a secret closed-door meeting of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Starting point is 00:26:51 Or did the Senate Armed Services Committee members freak out when they watch CBS News Sunday night? Which one is it? Or I think it was coordination myself. I just, you know, they were out there, what you would call it, inoculating the story. Getting something out there and then when the story came out yesterday about the meeting in the Senate Armed Services Committee, it just wasn't dramatic anymore. Oh, we talked about drones earlier this week.
Starting point is 00:27:25 We don't need to talk about it again. I don't know. It worries me that the Senate committee members privately flipped out and started calling each other saying, we need to have a secret closed door meeting right away. Which means they didn't know any of this stuff, which is really scary. And then they brought the generals in and they didn't know anything either. We've got two more video clips. Yeah, and they interviewed the current NORAD commander, General Gouault, and he gave his assessment. He basically said, well, the threat just got ahead of our ability to respond.
Starting point is 00:28:08 Now they're able to track Santa Claus every December. That's right. NORAD always puts out a press release that these drones are beyond Santa Claus. They can't track them. Is that what he's going to tell us? That's exactly what he's going to say. Listen to it, Rick. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Let's watch. In overseas war zones, the U.S. military has broad authority to bring down menacing drones with gunfire, missiles and electronic jamming. Here at home, any of those actions would pose a threat to civilians on the ground and in the air. Well, we certainly need new systems to counter this threat. A year ago, General Gregory Geo, a combat veteran, took control of NORAD and NORTHCOM.
Starting point is 00:29:09 He ordered a 90-day assessment of operations and says the drones or UAVs at Langley became the centerpiece. We're the most powerful military on the face of the Earth, and yet drones could fly over a major Air Force base and we couldn't stop them? How is that possible? Well, I think the threat got ahead of our ability to detect and track the threat. I think all eyes were rightfully overseas where UAVs were being used on one-way attack to attack US and coalition
Starting point is 00:29:50 service members and the threat in the US probably caught us by surprise a little bit. As it stands today, could you detect a swarm of drones detect a swarm of drones flying over or flying into the airspace at Langley? Could you detect that today? At low altitude, probably not with your standard FAA or surveillance radars. Complicating his efforts? Bureaucracy. When the drones
Starting point is 00:30:25 flew outside the perimeter of Langley Air Force Base, other agencies had jurisdiction. The Coast Guard, FAA, FBI, and local police. There was no one agency in charge. So what did you determine went on at Langley. Well, that investigation is still ongoing. So I don't think we know entirely what happened. You know, when we hear things from the White House that it's not deemed a threat, it seems to me that this is alarming. I mean, this is kind of hair on fire time.
Starting point is 00:31:02 It is alarming. And I would say that our hair is on fire here in North Comm in a controlled way, and we're moving out extremely quickly. Rick, let me just ask you something, just as an observation here. What did you observe about General Guyot as he was responding to those questions? The grin on his face. Yeah. And his apprehension and answering
Starting point is 00:31:25 and hedging his answers. Something's up. I mean, there's just no way. I mean, are you telling me that you can get a $50 drone from Best Buy and I can fly it over Langley Air Force Base? And they can't see it. No, he said you can't. He said if they're Base. And they can't see it. He said you can't. He said if they're low altitude, they can't even see it.
Starting point is 00:31:50 And yet there's people out there taking videos with their iPhones. They can see it. So his first line of response was, well, we're so busy monitoring what the Russians are doing in Ukraine with their drones that we just didn't have time to watch these drones that are coming over America. The official name of the Pentagon is the Department of Defense. Not the Department of Offense, but the Department of Defense. What are you guys paid to defend?
Starting point is 00:32:34 We spend hundreds of billions of dollars on the military. Why? To defend the United States of America. Nothing else. Not Israel, not Ukraine, nothing else. You are supposed to defend, your one and only duty is to defend the United States of America. And you're not doing it. You're letting drones come in and you're giving us excuses
Starting point is 00:33:04 of why you didn't do anything about it So that's the first story that doesn't make sense Because that you know the answer ought to be hey, we're here to protect the American people those rascals aren't going to get past us We're we're gonna blow them out of the water out of out on the sea, right? I mean we had coast watchers back in World War II. I saw a whole documentary on this about Coast Watchers from Florida all the way up the East Coast here. What were they watching for? They were watching for German submarines, possibly German planes. That's all they did. They sat out there and they looked over the water
Starting point is 00:33:44 and they said, well, let's see if we see anything happening out there. Are you telling me we don't have human assets available that can sit out at Langley Air Force Base and look at the sky and say, that's not supposed to be there? The Japanese tried to set America on fire with balloons. That's right. They sent in balloons with lanterns burning at them to try to set grass fires and forest fires.
Starting point is 00:34:09 And you know what we eventually started doing? We started shooting them down. Mm-hmm. Again, none of it makes sense. And if these guys are really telling the truth, we are in serious trouble. And did you get the impression his hair was on fire? No, he looked very relaxed. He looked calm. They're not troubled by this at all.
Starting point is 00:34:36 There's no urgency at all. Look, we are in World War III, uh it started on june or excuse me february 24 the year 2022 it's going to end sometime in the early 2030s uh probably around 2032 and that war is going to be a confrontation between the United States and China. Right now, based on what you've just heard through these 60-minute segments, do you feel secure that when the Chinese launch an invasion of the United States, that our military is prepared? No, they appear to be mystified, Rick. Mystified, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Gee, there's a million POA soldiers getting off of ships running on shore. Maybe we should wait and see why they're here. No, I'm really worried. This troubles me that our military, because it comes down to they're either deceiving us or they have been bought off. I don't know the answer. They're either bought off by a foreign power, which would be China, and they're lying to the American people, or they are deliberately deceiving us for some
Starting point is 00:36:13 purpose of the US government. And I don't like either answer. I don't like it. Right. It's not good. Let's move on to, you know to the ongoing saga this week about the Signal app mishap involving Pete Hegseth and Mike Waltz and the bombing of the Houthis. So CBS News, NSA warned of vulnerabilities in Signal app a month before the Houthi strike chat. That's not good for these guys. You get a warning from the NSA saying, hey, that thing's got glitches.
Starting point is 00:36:55 You shouldn't be talking about anything serious using the Signal app. It says, according to internal NSA documents obtained by CBS News, the National Security Agency sent an operational security special bulletin to its employees in February 2025, warning them of vulnerabilities in using the encrypted messaging application Signal. The unclassified but for official use only documents entitled Signal Vulnerability were provided to CBS News by senior U.S. intelligence official and were sent out the month before Goldberg was accidentally added to the group chat, allegedly by National Security Advisor
Starting point is 00:37:41 Mike Waltz. The internal bulletin said, quote, a vulnerability has been identified in the signal application, messenger application. The use of signal by common targets of surveillance and espionage activity has made the application a high value target to intercept sensitive information. So my question is, did the NSA share this with other important agencies
Starting point is 00:38:11 like the CIA, the FBI, the Pentagon Defense Intelligence Agency, or did they keep this- Within the NSA. Within the NSA. We don't know. But it does tell us that some people in US intelligence was concerned about using Signal. Now, Doc, this next one, I don't know if you, if you,
Starting point is 00:38:36 this is a very short video clip, 26 seconds. This is National Security Advisor Mike Waltz This is National Security Advisor Mike Waltz talking to Laura Ingraham on Fox News. This is last night. Last night. Listen to what he said he and Elon Musk are working on. We're going to get to the bottom of it. We have, I just talked to Elon on the way here. We've got the best technical minds looking at how this happened, but I can tell you I could tell you for 100% I don't know this guy. I know him by his horrible reputation And he really is the bottom scum of journalists and I know him in the sense that he hates the president But I don't text them. He wasn't on my phone and we're gonna figure out how this
Starting point is 00:39:26 Okay, so now that adds a new wrinkle. Because he's saying that he did not have Mr. Goldberg's contact information on his phone. Right. He did not invite him into the chat. He does not know how he got invited into the chat, and that he's asked Elon Musk to bring in his top tech guys to do a forensic search
Starting point is 00:39:52 To find out how mr. Goldberg was added to the chat Doc that now implies That Doc, that now implies that somehow Mr. Goldberg was added to the chat without the knowledge of anybody on that call. Or the possibility that someone on that call, maybe that worked for Mike Waltz, added Goldberg. Right. On purpose, not accidentally. Yes, on purpose. To bring Goldberg in for the purpose of doing a hit piece
Starting point is 00:40:36 on the Trump administration, which means you have a rat on your staff. Right. But that was an interesting admission because so far he's been taking the blame. That was the impression I got. Well, hey, Mike Walsh. Taking the blame, but not really getting,
Starting point is 00:40:59 you know, really getting dressed down over it, right? Right. So he's now saying, right. You know I'm responsible But I didn't do it Okay, so who did it and why? Now London Times says war plans sent in leaked signal app new text reveals The American Defense Secretary Pete Hickseth gave minute by minute updates of American airstrikes on Houthi militants in a secret signal chat
Starting point is 00:41:33 with senior officials. So what this is saying is not only did Mr. Hickseth tell the participants in that call here's what we, here's what we're going to do. And here's the timeline. And here's the timeline. He was actually texting in real time, hey, missiles just left, we just killed so and so. In real time, they're getting up to date briefings on signal of the actions being carried out by the military.
Starting point is 00:42:05 Now this is in a new release that Goldberg gave out, I guess, late yesterday. Number 12 is the image that we can look at here. Here's from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth giving a timeline on the weather, on the F-18s being launched, the strike windows, more F-18s being launched, strike drones on target, F-18 second strike starts, Tomahawks launch. And this isn't some approximate time, these are actual times. approximate time, these are actual times. This is Pete Higson giving moment by moment updates of what has happened
Starting point is 00:42:51 in the attack on the hoody. Like he's a sportscaster. Right. You know, he's doing commentary on a baseball game. I find shocking that this was going out on a messenger app. Right. And I can understand this if this was in a secure briefing, you know, where he's giving a presentation and saying, all right, here's the timeline, gentlemen. We did this, this, and this. But you don't do it over an anonymous app.
Starting point is 00:43:24 It just, one of these other things, it just doesn't make sense. It's very amateurish. Very amateurish. London Telegraph. Now, the Democrats are getting dirty today. Yes. U.S. Defense Secretary was not drunk when he ordered the airstrike says to CIA chief. When I first saw that headline, I thought dear Lord, John Ratcliffe had to make a statement today saying, for the record,
Starting point is 00:43:54 I am not aware of Pete Hegsup being drunk during that phone call. But that's not what happened. When you read the headline, that's what you think. Now what happened? When you read the headline, that's what you think. So this happened during a House committee hearing. The Telegraph says Pete Hegseth was not drunk when he discussed plans to bomb Yemen. The CIA director has said,
Starting point is 00:44:20 Tulsi Gabbard, intelligence chief, and John Ratcliffe, director CIA and Cash Patel head of the FBI testified at a House Intelligence Select Committee hearing which was dominated by questions about to leak. Again Doc we go back to what they you know obviously the Democrats knew that these officials were coming to Washington this week for hearings. Yes. Were they ambushed?
Starting point is 00:44:52 Absolutely, Rick. I believe they were. This conversation actually happened a month ago. It wasn't like last week. Right. But was Mr. Goldberg... Goldberg's been sitting on this for a month. But was he inserted in that chat for this purpose to give them the ammunition to attack
Starting point is 00:45:13 during committee hearings? So, Congressman Jimmy Gomez is a Democrat from California. He's the one who inferred that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was drunk. Let's watch. To your knowledge, do you know whether Pete Hegseth had been drinking before he leaked classified information? I don't have any knowledge of Secretary Hegseth's personal habits? Director Radcliffe, same question. Yes or no? You know, no, I'm going to answer that.
Starting point is 00:45:53 I think that's an offensive line of questioning. The answer is no. I find it interesting that you want to- Hey, I yield back. No, I'm going to answer- It's my time. Director. You asked me a question.
Starting point is 00:46:03 You want an answer? No, listen, it's a yes or no. You don't want to focus on the good work that the CIA is doing, that the intelligence community... Director, I reclaim my time. Director, I reclaim my time. I have huge respect for the CIA, huge respect for men and women in uniform, but this was a question that's on the top of minds of every American. He stood in front of a podium in Europe holding a drink. So of course we want to know if his performance is compromised. If your
Starting point is 00:46:34 people were asking if the General Austin was compromised because of a heart issue. Was his performance compromised because of a heart issue? Was his performance compromised because of a successful strike? Mr. I bring my, You wanna know, You wanna talk about accepting responsibility? Do you think you should accept responsibility for a successful strike to make Americans safer? I wanna focus on-
Starting point is 00:46:57 I reclaim my time. It was a low blow, but it was an effective low blow because now you have people wondering is Pete Haegseth drunk inside the Pentagon? Right. You got that conversation. It's priming the audience out there. Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:19 And so now you're always going to be wondering, well, did Pete Hegseth drink today? What was the promise he made to senators before the confirmation vote? He wouldn't drink. He made that promise. Before he was confirmed, he was questioned vigorously about his drinking reputation. And he promised the US senators he would stay sober if he was defense secretary. So what Mr. Gomez did was bring back those discussions. And simply, it's the old, the technique, when did you stop beating your wife?
Starting point is 00:48:04 Right. Just by asking the question, well, was he drunk? Because a sober person wouldn't use signal to talk about war plans. But Doc, it's a legitimate question because Haigsteth has a reputation of getting drunk. And so it almost kept him from being confirmed as defense secretary. It was the big thing. It was the big, that and the way he treated women. Right. Especially what his mother had said privately in an email
Starting point is 00:48:49 to one of Hagseth's previous wives. But those two things together really threatened his confirmation. I think Pete Hagseth will be the first member of the Trump cabinet to resign. I'm not going to say he's going to resign on this one. I don't think they have enough on him to bring him down on this one, but if there's going to be a blowout in the Trump administration, Hagseth will be the first to go.
Starting point is 00:49:27 And every cabinet has one, every cabinet, Democrat, Republican, they always, somebody resigns. And I think it'll be Pete Hagseth, he's in over his head. And I know there'll be people getting upset with me and everything, but the man's not qualified to be defense secretary he's absolutely not qualified and If I had been a US senator I would have voted no Because he's not qualified. I he might be qualified to be the press secretary
Starting point is 00:49:59 Although the Department of Defense, but he's not qualified to be the defense secretary. Doesn't mean he's not a good American? No, doesn't mean that at all. A great veteran or anything like that. But he has no experience running an entity that spends what, $900 billion a year? Yes, nearly a trillion dollar budget. You know, I'm sorry. There are very few people capable of managing an entity that size. So, we'll see where this goes, but you know, the behavior is not becoming. Now,
Starting point is 00:50:48 the fallout in Europe, I didn't, we didn't do this story yesterday, I want to show it to you today. This is from EuroNews. Pathetic European freeloading. US officials slam Europe in leaked chat. Trump's, as I'm reading this from EuroNews, Trump's national security official laid bare their disdain for Europe. in a top secret group chat leaked when a journalist was mistakenly added to the conversation. They got a quote here from Pete Hagsoff, quote, I fully share your loathing of European freeloading. It's pathetic.
Starting point is 00:51:22 This is how Pete Hagsoff described the continent in what should have been a confidential group chat made up of the Trump administration's national security heavyweights. Right. And in the lead conversation conducted on the Signal app, unauthorized for classified official conversations, Vice President Vance said how much he hated bailing Europe again, claiming that the strikes on the hoodies and the subsequent unblocking of trade routes would benefit Europe the most. Three percent of U.S. trade runs through the Suez.
Starting point is 00:51:55 Forty percent of European trade does. There is a real risk that the public doesn't understand this or why it's necessary. The U.S. Vice President said at the start of the discussion. "'I am not sure the President is aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now,' Vance continued, arguing that strikes on the hooties should be delayed for a month." And later in the conversation, Mr. Walz criticized the limited capabilities of European navies to defend itself. It will have to be the United States that reopens these shipping lanes.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Per the president's request, we are working with DOD and the State Department to determine how to compile the costs associated and levy them on the Europeans, Trump's national security adviser said. Secretary of Defense Hegseth responded, I fully share your loathing of European freeloading. It's pathetic. And other officials added that the U.S. should clearly state to Egypt and Europe what we expect in return. There we go back with that transactional relationship again.
Starting point is 00:53:01 An accountant claiming to be White House Chief of Staff Steve Miller commented, we also need to figure out how to enforce such a requirement. For example, if Europe doesn't remunerate, then what? And so, now Rick, I don't know if you've heard this or not, but there are some out there that are suggesting that they wanted this information to get out. That they wanted these messages about Europe to get out. That the administration did, to send a message to Europe. I'm not buying that. I'm just saying that there are some out there that are pushing this line.
Starting point is 00:53:39 That Goldberg was allowed on the call in order for this information to get out into Europe. That goes back to what we were talking about a few minutes ago. Nobody wants to claim the responsibility for inviting Mr. Goldberg into a classified conversation. So how did he get there? Did he hack the call? Or did somebody bring him in? call or did somebody bring him in? That, you know, we'll have to wait and see what the, uh, the official story is. But the damage that this is doing is that you have the, you have the American defense secretary, the American national security advisor, the American vice president, the white house chief of Staff, and they're all trash talking our
Starting point is 00:54:27 European allies. And now you can't put these words back in a bottle. They're out. And all the European leaders know what they think. And so damage has been done. You've got the defense secretary calling Europe pathetic freeloaders. The next time you go to Europe for a meeting, do you think this subject's going to come up? It sure will. Do you still loathe us?
Starting point is 00:54:59 I can tell you right now, I look at European newspapers every day. This is on the front page of every newspaper I've seen. This is all over Europe that Pete Hagseth called Europe pathetic, pathetic freeloaders. And you might be saying, well, they are. Okay, but you don't say it, okay? If you're going to be in a position like running the military of the biggest country in the world, you have to watch what you say. You shouldn't be having war chats on a messaging app, but the damage is done.
Starting point is 00:55:44 And you're right, Doc, it's possible. They wanted the message to get out there. They wanted Europe. Look, there are more people, Doc, starting to catch on to the line of reasoning that you and I have had. And that is that the United States is deliberately is really at war with Europe. Yes That we are dismantling Europe
Starting point is 00:56:10 Yes And you know that is for the benefit of the United States we're eliminating a competitor London Times Now this is this is, Mark Ruta, the new Secretary General of NATO, he said, Europe needs to know that Uncle Sam has our back. So... And this is coming from the Trump whisperer. That's his nickname.
Starting point is 00:56:40 And so, Europe needs to know that Uncle Sam still has our back, the NATO secretary general said after texts between members of President Trump's inner circle confirmed America's shift away from its longstanding allies. Mark Rutte said on Wednesday that Europe required reassurance amid the fallout from the contents of that group chat, where U.S. officials shared highly sensitive details for airstrikes in Yemen and their views on Europe's military readiness. Now is not the time to go it alone, Ruta said in a speech in Warsaw.
Starting point is 00:57:12 In an attempt to smooth over the friction between Alliance members, Ruta, once known as the Trump whisperer for his relatively warm relationship with the president said, yes, Europe needs to know that Uncle Sam still has our back, but America must also know that its NATO allies will step up. So he was speaking at the Warsaw School of Economics, reassurance as a two-way street, adding that unity was required. That followed the public emergence of U.S. officials' private views on the Signal app where they complained of pathetic European freeloading.
Starting point is 00:57:47 This is not the time to go it alone, not for Europe or for North America. He added, the global security challenges are too great for any of us to face our own. When it comes to keeping Europe and North America safe, there is no alternative to NATO. Like I said, the damage has been done. Yes. Financial Times in London, the European Union calls for European households to stockpile 72 hours of food for World War III. That's right, Rick, because World War III is only going to last three days.
Starting point is 00:58:26 Yes. You just make sure you have three days' worth of meals and you'll be okay in World War III. That's right. Well, EU households should stockpile essential supplies to survive at least 72 hours of crisis, Brussels has proposed, as Russia's war in Ukraine and a darkening geopolitical landscape prompt the bloc to take new steps to increase its security. The new initiative comes as European intelligence agencies warn that Russia could attack an EU member state within three to five years, adding to natural threats including floods
Starting point is 00:59:00 and wildfires, worsened by climate change and societal risks such as financial crises. The European Commission warned on Wednesday that Europe faced increased threats, including the possibility of armed aggression against member states. The Commission published a 30-step plan for its 27 capitals to increase their preparedness for crisis mitigation measures. New realities require a new level of preparedness in Europe, said Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Our citizens, our member states, and our businesses need the right tools to act both to prevent crises and to react swiftly when a disaster hits. In addition to encouraging the public to adopt practical measures, such as maintaining essential supplies for a minimum of 72 hours in emergencies, the Commission proposes establishing an EU crisis hub to coordinate cross-border responses. It also costs for more stockpiling of critical equipment and materials and measures to ensure continuity of services such as health care, water supplies, and telecommunications in conflict or disaster. But you're going to need a lot more than 72 hours.
Starting point is 01:00:12 I'm telling you that right now. If 72 hours, I'm sorry, we go through storms for 72 hours here in Florida. And so- So one of two things, Doc, either the European leaders are clueless and they really think that the war will be over in three days and life will be back to normal. or this is the beginning where they're just trying to penetrate the minds of the public to get them thinking about World War III because if they said to them you better have a year's worth of food people would freak out, they'd panic. So people can't handle that kind of stuff. No, they can't. But you can say, three days, have three days, okay? So maybe next year they're going to say, you know, you should have a week. And maybe by 2027, they're going to say, you know,
Starting point is 01:01:22 you should have a month of food. See they're working the people towards 2030 And maybe by 2029 they're gonna say you should have six months worth of food Then people are starting to realize this is getting serious, right? now there they know that they're about five years away from The countdown to the end of World War III. Now the next story, London Telegraph, we go back to Mark Rutte, and he was in Warsaw, Poland. And so the headline says, NATO issues direct World War III threat to Vladimir Putin and warns of full force retaliation. When I saw that, I said, what just happened?
Starting point is 01:02:10 But when you read it, it's nothing happened. It says NATO Secretary General Mark Ruta warned Vladimir Putin there will be a devastating response if Russia were to launch an attack on Poland. Is Russia planning to attack Poland? Not that I've heard lately. Oh, but if he does, NATO is going to punch him hard. Mr. Ruzla said, if anyone were to miscalculate and think that they can get away with an attack on Poland or any other ally, they will be met with the full force of this fierce alliance. Our reaction will be devastating.
Starting point is 01:02:52 This has to be very clear to Vladimir Putin and anyone else who wants to attack us. Now, Rick, did you notice that last line? His full name? Well, his full name. Yes. But it said, this has to be very clear to Vladimir, Vladimirovich, Putin, and anyone else who wants to attack us. Who would that be?
Starting point is 01:03:13 That's what I want to know. The United States attacking Denmark over Greenland? Greenland? I mean, who else is going to attack Europe? It's not the Chinese. Not yet. Who else is planning to attack Europe that we don't know about? This is the, when I saw this article today that was the question that bugged me. That are they just making up an enemy with Russia in the first place? I believe that they are, but now they're making up other enemies too.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Is it possible that there could be a cyber threat from a rogue state out there? Sure. But I'm just not getting it here with Europe. They know they're getting cut out of the future. I think that's what it is, Rick. They know they're getting cut out of the future. And they're going to have to pony up. Right.
Starting point is 01:04:18 Or if they don't, they look like pathetic freeloaders. That's the problem. They're gonna look like freeloaders if they don't cough up some money. And they know the day of, the days of riding on America's back and getting the American people to pay for everything, those days are coming to an end. And they've talked themselves into this war with Russia. It's like you're in a self-fulfilling prophecy. Yes. Just wind it down. You don't have to go to war with Russia,
Starting point is 01:04:53 but they seem to be stuck on this thing. Let's talk about Ukraine, another telegraph article, ceasefire on Brink as EU refuses to lift the Russian sanctions. They will not lift the sanctions until Russia completely withdraws from Ukraine. Russia's not going to withdraw until the sanctions are released. So now it's in the EU's court, Rick? Yes.
Starting point is 01:05:21 So Brussels has refused to lift those sanctions, as Rick has said, until it completely withdraws from Ukraine. The U.S. has committed to getting some European sanctions on Russia withdrawn in return for Russia agreeing to a partial truce covering the Black Sea and energy infrastructure. The White House has also clarified that Ukraine must cede territory to Russia as part of the final peace deal. However, a European Commission spokesperson said the end of the Russian unprovoked and unjustified aggression in Ukraine and unconditional withdrawal of all Russian military forces
Starting point is 01:05:57 from the entire territory of Ukraine would be one of the main preconditions to amend or lift sanctions. Well, really, EU, you don't have any say in the matter. You really don't. But who is preventing this war from winding down? Now it's the EU. The EU and Ukraine. Yes. Russia wants out of it, the United States wants out of it, but Europe doesn't want out,
Starting point is 01:06:24 and Ukraine doesn't want out. This next story, BBC, Russia says sanctions must be lifted before Ukraine maritime ceasefire can start. So the gist of the article is, there's no way that we're going to sign a ceasefire without the European Union agreeing that they're going to sign a ceasefire without the European Union agreeing that they're going to lift the economic sanctions off Russia and The Europeans are saying we're not going to lift the sanctions until Russia basically
Starting point is 01:06:58 Surrenders and admits defeat So you got to stand off? Another telegraph article Ukraine demands fighting ready troops from Europe You got to stand off. Another Telegraph article. Ukraine demands fighting ready troops from Europe. Once again. Yeah, right. So, Zelensky's begging and demanding. No, demanding.
Starting point is 01:07:16 Demanding. This is one of his buddies, Igor. European troops must be ready to fight if they are sent to guard any future peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, says a senior aide to Zelensky. He said that we don't need a mere presence to showcase that Europe is present. That's Igor Zabka, a top Ukrainian negotiator, speaking ahead of an international summit in Paris. He said it's not the amount that matters, it's also their readiness to fight, their readiness to defend, their readiness to be equipped, and their readiness to understand
Starting point is 01:07:50 that Ukraine is an inevitable part of European security, he said. Now, if you're in Moscow today and you're reading that, boy, this guy in Ukraine just keeps asking for more and more and more war. So what they're saying is we're not going to accept just peacekeepers. We want peacekeepers who fight. Right? That's right. We demand it.
Starting point is 01:08:19 We want fighting peacekeepers. We want soldiers from Europe who will fight the Russians Because the European the Ukrainians really don't want this war to end I'm talking about the the political Cabal that's in control of Ukraine, which is really the Nazis All right, the next segment. This is the Gold Co. Financial Report. Financial Times top federal reserve official says market angst over inflation would be a red flag.
Starting point is 01:08:58 It says, signs that investors in the US bond market are baking in higher inflation would be a major red flag that could upend policymaker plans to cut interest rates as a top Federal Reserve official. The remarks from Austin Gulsby, President of the Chicago Fed, a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee, come just over a week after a closely watched University of Michigan poll showed households' long-term inflation projections hit the highest level since when? 1993. Now, why is that important? Because that is when the last inflation cycle
Starting point is 01:09:48 was coming to an end. Yes. That's when the recovery was just really starting to take off. And that inflation cycle that came to an end in 1993 started in 1975. Yes, right. 18 years earlier.
Starting point is 01:10:04 So Mr. Goolsby told the Financial Times, if you start seeing market-based long-run inflation expectations start behaving the way these surveys have done in the last two months, I would view that as a major red flag area of concern. He said that the Fed would need to act. He said, almost regardless of the circumstances, you must address that. And the Financial Times says, central bankers everywhere consider keeping
Starting point is 01:10:35 longer term inflation expectations anchored crucial to their jobs. If the public no longer trust them, a vicious circle of higher wages and price increases could ensue. Yes, we're in a stagflation cycle. And this is going to last for another 10, 15 years. You can count on it.
Starting point is 01:11:02 You can count on it. Food prices, just about everything is going to go up. The economy will be stagnated. Prices will be climbing. The middle class will be squeezed. It is a repeat of the cycle that hit us 1975 through early 1990s. Market watch, gold is crushing the S&P 500. What that says about recession fears in the stock market. And I've got a quote here from Akash Doshi, global head of gold strategy at State Street
Starting point is 01:11:49 Global Advisors who said to MarketWatch, the sharp turn lower in the S&P 500 gold ratio in March is itself not a recession indicator. It does however reflect increased investor demand for safe haven assets such as gold and a potential reassessment of U.S. growth exceptionalism and corporate earnings optimism. The bottom line is this, the Fed is saying, we think the public is becoming increasingly convinced inflation is here to stay. Yes. The bond market is starting to bake in to their projections that we're going
Starting point is 01:12:39 to have long-term inflation. Market Watch article is saying term inflation. Market Watch article is saying that smart money is moving away from the stock market and to gold. What should you be doing right now? You should be paying attention to what people with a lot of information about the economy and people with a lot of money, what are they doing right now? They're going into safe assets like precious metals. They're expecting a long term run of inflation and precious metals preserves wealth. It's a protector against inflation.
Starting point is 01:13:31 Gold is outpacing the stock market. So my recommendation to you is to get in touch with GoldCo and get started now. Get started in 2025 with a precious metals portfolio. And if ask them questions about rolling over your retirement program into a precious metals 844960 gold 844960 gold and Ask them if you qualify for that instant 10% match on silver there's a Threshold that you need to reach and to purchase a silver, but they'll give you an instant 10% match
Starting point is 01:14:21 against 844960 gold you an instant 10% match against 844-960-gold. Doc, I came across a video the other day, about a week ago. I missed this last year during the campaign. I never saw it. Oh, you didn't see this before? No, I did not. And I was really impressed with Mr. Trump's proposal. Also, I'll show you the headline New York Times. Trump's battles with colleges could change American culture for a generation. They are launching a serious revision of American college university education in this country. I'm telling you five years from now you won't recognize it.
Starting point is 01:15:11 You're right, Doc. Five years from now you'll say colleges, universities, people used to go to those things? You take what the Trump administration is doing plus artificial intelligence. Yes. And higher education is going to be radically changed over the next five years. But during the campaign last year, Mr. Trump made a proposal. He said he would launch the American Academy.
Starting point is 01:15:38 I missed this during the campaign, but I just came across it a week or two ago. And I was very impressed. I wanted you to hear about it if you missed it also. Listen to what Mr. Trump plans to do. Under the plan I'm announcing today, we will take the billions and billions of dollars that we will collect by taxing, fining, and suing excessively large private university endowments and we will then use that money to endow a new institution called the American Academy.
Starting point is 01:16:09 Its mission will be to make a truly world-class education available to every American, free of charge, and do it without adding a single dime to the federal debt. This institution will gather an entire universe of the highest quality educational content covering the full spectrum of human knowledge and skills and make that material available to every American citizen online for free. Whether you want lectures or ancient histories or an introduction to financial accounting or training in a skilled trade, the goal will be to deliver it and get it done properly.
Starting point is 01:16:48 Using study groups, mentors, industry partnerships, and the latest breakthrough in computing, this will be a truly top-tier education option for the people. It will be strictly nonpolitical, and there will be no wokeness or jihadism allowed. None of that's going to be allowed. Most importantly, the American Academy will compete directly
Starting point is 01:17:10 with the existing and very costly four-year university system by granting students degree credentials that the U.S. government and all federal contractors will henceforth recognize. The Academy will award the full and complete equivalent of a bachelor's degree. In addition to help the 40 million Americans who have some college education but no degree, the American Academy will grant credit for past coursework at legacy institutions and give you the chance to complete your education at the American Academy for
Starting point is 01:17:45 free and much more quickly than is now possible or available. This will be a revolution in higher education and will provide life-changing opportunities for tens of millions of our citizens. Enjoy it, learn from it, and thank you. They just obliterated the education system. Yes, that's why I say in five years time, you will not recognize education in America. It'll be totally different. So we're going to have a state-sponsored national higher education academy that grants degrees, degrees that are recognized by the federal government and by state governments.
Starting point is 01:18:31 And anybody can go. Any American citizen can go at free, no charge. The idea is fantastic, is mind boggling what he's fantastic. It's mind-boggling what he's doing. Now, not only that, but Doc, he, and did you notice he said we're going to sue the big universities? Oh, yes. There are reports in the news here over the past several weeks that they're going to claw back endowments from these major schools from these major schools like Harvard and Princeton and all of them, who have hundreds of billions of dollars of endowments that they're just sitting on.
Starting point is 01:19:12 How would they claw back on their white grounds? They would say that they're not being used for educational purposes, that they're using them as investment funds, that they should be taxed on that. So they've already started talking on these. And so it's, I believe we're going to see it happen. And do you notice that last week Harvard made an announcement that they're going to be tuition free from now on? Harvard?
Starting point is 01:19:39 Harvard. That they're going to, starting this fall, that they're going to be tuition free. Now, you have to get accepted to Harvard, of course, to be tuition free, but anyone, any family making under $100,000 a year, you can go tuition free to Harvard. But that's a radical change. Yes, but I think it's going to be even more radical than that. These schools see the writing on the wall, Rick. Yes. Now the next one, he said they're going to go after the the credentialing organizations. Yes. Because these guys are like the
Starting point is 01:20:15 gatekeepers. You know, these are the organizations in higher education that issue the certify that a university or college has been accredited to issue degrees. And Mr. Trump said they're going to go after them and they're going to offer, they're going to create new agencies to accredit universities and colleges. Let's watch. For many years tuition costs at colleges and universities have been exploding. And I mean absolutely exploding. While academics have been obsessed with indoctrinating America's youth, the time has come to reclaim our once great educational institutions from the radical left.
Starting point is 01:21:01 And we will do that. Our secret weapon will be the college accreditation system. It's called accreditation for a reason. The accreditors are supposed to ensure that schools are not ripping off students and taxpayers, but they have failed totally. When I return to the White House, I will fire the radical-left accreditors
Starting point is 01:21:22 that have allowed our colleges to become dominated by Marxists, maniacs, and lunatics. We will then accept applications for new accreditors who will impose real standards on colleges once again and once and for all. These standards will include defending the American tradition and Western civilization, protecting free speech, eliminating wasteful administrative positions that drive up costs incredibly, removing all Marxist diversity, equity, and inclusion bureaucrats, offering options for accelerated and low-cost degrees, providing meaningful job placement and career services, and implementing
Starting point is 01:22:06 college entrance and exit exams to prove that students are actually learning and getting their money's worth. Furthermore, I will direct the Department of Justice to pursue federal civil rights cases against schools that continue to engage in racial discrimination, and schools that persist in explicit unlawful discrimination under the guise of equity will not only have their endowment taxed, but through budget reconciliation, I will advance a measure to have them fined up to the entire amount of their endowment. A portion of the seized funds will then be used as restitution for victims of these illegal
Starting point is 01:22:47 and unjust policies, policies that hurt our country so badly. Colleges have gotten hundreds of billions of dollars from hardworking taxpayers, and now we are going to get this anti-American insanity out of our institutions once and for all. We are going to have real education in America. Thank you. Now, Keith truly is dismantling the infrastructure of the left. Yes.
Starting point is 01:23:18 There's, I mean, whether it's USAID or the education complex, they're going after it. They figured this out. In the four years that they weren't in the White House, they figured it out. And they said, if we get back in, we have to dismantle this infrastructure. I'm very impressed. I've got two more videos, then we'll wrap it up and go home. So Mr. Trump appointed himself as the chairman of the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. He fired the Board of Directors and appointed his own and then made himself the chairman.
Starting point is 01:24:00 First time a sitting president has been the chairman of the board of the Kennedy Center. So Mr. Trump did a, he took a tour of the Kennedy Center. Last week, yes. Last week. And I want you to, I want you to listen carefully to what he said they found during that tour. See if you pick up on it. as is a lot of the rest of our country, most of it because of bad management. This is a shame what I've watched and witnessed. They spent a fortune, 250 million dollars, and they built these rooms that nobody's going to use, rooms underground. And I've often wondered what are the big cubes that they have outside that block the view.
Starting point is 01:25:05 The cubes with the door in them so the people can get down to rooms that nobody's in the years. And it's a shame. It's a shame. Rooms underground that nobody uses. What were they built for? That's a great question. And the entrance is outside in cubes. Cubes. With no doors, I mean no windows. I mean, if you could make the argument that it was civil defense or something, but there's
Starting point is 01:25:36 no reason for it at the Kennedy Center. And apparently it was never implemented, whatever the purpose was, the design. Then he also talked about, they encountered labor unions. They were going to have Lee Greenwood sing one song, you know which song, God bless the USA, at the board of directors meeting of the Kennedy Center. But the labor union stepped in and the price to have the room set up for Lee Greenwood to sing, you know, that would mean a microphone and a speaker. Right. And a piano.
Starting point is 01:26:21 That's it. I think he said it got up to $30,000. Right. And he just said, that's crazy, we're not gonna do it. Here's Mr. Trump talking about it. The other thing is, we're gonna have a little problem with some people that work here.
Starting point is 01:26:38 We had Lee Greenwood wanted to sing a little song today, and because of the cost and the union structure, for him to sing a song just for the board, just a board meeting, it was going to cost $30,000 that doesn't sound too good they wanted $30,000 to move a piano so you can't have that. $30,000 to move a piano. Yeah it's great work if you can find it.
Starting point is 01:27:03 Uh-huh. Well, he's dismantling the system. And he's the chairman of the board of the Kennedy Center, so I guess they can remove the unions. I don't know. I don't know what the structure is. But look, if you've ever run into this, and I'm not an opponent of labor unions, but I'll tell you, I've had situations like that where you realize, you know, you can't get anything done because of the cost. You know, I first learned this many years ago when I worked at TBN, and I was always wondering, why don't you bring on all these Christian artists? We got all these contemporary Christian music artists, why don't you bring them on? And I was always wondering, why don't you bring on all these Christian artists? We got all these contemporary Christian music artists, why don't you bring them on?
Starting point is 01:27:47 And I found out it had to do with labor unions. And the cost of a performance was astronomical. So Mr. Trump is shaking up DC. They took down tents in Washington, I guess for homeless and for protests and things. They removed the Black Lives Matter Plaza. Right, yes. It's been dismantled. There's a lot going on you know the
Starting point is 01:28:27 entire DC government the mayor and council could be abolished by Congress that's right the district of Columbia is in is in or the Congress is in control of the district of Columbia and all we take is the speaker saying to the house we're going to we're going to dismantle the mayor and council. The Congress really is the mayor and council of DC. So big changes underway. So it's amazing to watch what he's doing. Well, we got to go.

So we're finishing up chapter 8 in the book of Romans today verses 35 through 39. Let's pray and Dr. Burkhart will read the word and we will begin our lesson. Almighty God, our heavenly Father, we thank you for life. We thank you for eternal life, Father. We thank you for your grace and your forgiveness, your mercy. Most of all, Father, we thank you for your Son Jesus Christ and for your Spirit. Father, we ask that the Holy Spirit take his seat at the head of the table of this morning
Starting point is 01:31:52 man of Bible study and lead this class, inspire us, teach us your word, and build us up to be strong, mighty warriors for your son's kingdom. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. We're so glad to have you here with us here on a Wednesday morning. In the eight o'clock hour on the East Coast of the United States, we are continuing our study in Romans chapter 8. We're going to pick up on verse 35. I want to encourage you,
Starting point is 01:32:22 you need three essential tools when you're studying the word. I've learned this is just a suggestion. You got to have a good Bible that you are confident in that is a good translation. And you need a notepad and a writing instrument of some kind. Because there's no way you can keep track of everything that we talk about. I would encourage you, you know, jot down some notes for a further study, go back through and to explore beyond just our time together.
Starting point is 01:32:54 I hope this isn't the only time you spend in the Word. I'm glad you're here, but I hope this is just the launching pad for you to study the Word. And so in studying the word today, let's pick back up in verse 35 of Romans chapter eight. And I'm reading from the King James today. And great verse to start out with today, Romans 8.35, "'Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Starting point is 01:33:19 Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword as It is written for thy sake we are killed all day long. We are counted as sheep for the slaughter Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors more than conquerors more than conquerors to him that loved us For I am persuaded That neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor heights nor depth nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the
Starting point is 01:33:56 love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Amen. Okay, Doc, I'm noticing I nicked myself shaving today and I just I'm realizing I got specks of blood on my shirt. Oh, if anybody's wondering what is wrong with my shirt, I just realized what it is. All right, I apologize. So verse 35, who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? Once again, Paul's asking one of his questions. He already has the answer, but he likes to ask the question, so he can answer his own questions. Right. God, that the love of Christ grips us tight, that his heart
Starting point is 01:35:12 holds us firm, that no foe, no tribulation, no sword, nothing can cut the cord, nothing can break the chain, nothing can that no foe, no tribulation, no sword. Nothing can cut the cord. Nothing can break the chain. His love for us, his commitment to us, his protection of us will surmount all trials, all tribulation. surmount all trials, all tribulation. No, there's you need to have this assurance that there's absolutely nothing in the universe that can break God's bond with you. And it's his love for you, not your love for him that seals your fate.
Starting point is 01:36:06 His love is what is active his love is what seals our fate It's it's his grace that anchors us to him So what is tribulation It's as any kind of pressure? It's meant to crush you. That's what tribulation is about. It's interesting that Paul leads with this because of course Paul suffered tribulation everywhere he went. Just with almost without exception. Every town he went, he would go to the synagogue, he'd preach and within days there'd be some group of people
Starting point is 01:36:53 trying to do harm to him because of his preaching of the gospel, usually radical Jewish elements. And so, but so he leads with this. He says, you know, hey, I'm telling you, this tribulation that I've suffered, it hasn't separated me from Christ. The distress, the persecution, it hasn't separated me from Christ. It will not separate me from Christ. That's right. Tribulation will bow to Him. Yes. Your enemies will bow to Christ. Just be patient.
Starting point is 01:37:34 Give them time. Eventually, they will bow to His authority. Distress will yield. You just have to stand. That's all you're asked to do. Stand. Stand in your knowledge that God loves you. The chain, the bond that connects you to Him cannot be broken. That His Word is true. That He does what he says he will do.
Starting point is 01:38:08 If you would just stand on those principles, eventually the trouble that you're in will change. It will go away. It will bow to God's authority. You just have to stand. And eventually the ground around you, you just stand on the rock and the ground around the rock, the rock will not shift. You stand on the rock until the land around the rock shifts. Amen. I like that. Let the world turn, but not your faith. That's right. Make the ground around the rock conform to the word of the Lord.
Starting point is 01:39:10 Foe's will chase you, but God's love will hold you. Lack. Talked about famine, nakedness. There'll be times that you're financially not doing great. It can't sever the bond. Even death can't sever the bond. Amen. You're victorious in death. Trials forge, they don't foil, they forge the relationship between you and the Lord. Because you have a perpetuity in union with the Lord.
Starting point is 01:40:07 It goes on forever. You will survive all. Somehow he turns woes to his will. We talked about that yesterday, that all things work for good. I don't know how he does it, but I've seen it done. He turns woes to his will. And his care for you never quits, never gives up. It's infinite love. It's infinite love.
Starting point is 01:40:47 It's eternal security. His love never changes. He's not fickle like humans. Some people love you today and hate you tomorrow. God's consistent. Amen. Um lean on the love that will lift you. He will lift you, his love will lift you. Whatever situation that you're in, lean, lean in on it. It's like a hydraulic jack, it'll lift you up. Everything you need, he has provided, it's in him. Just constantly lean on him. Yesterday we were talking about
Starting point is 01:41:49 leaning on his generosity. Press in. Lean on his generosity. Lean on his love. Lean on his steadfastness. Amen. He doesn't budge. No trial, no tribulation, no crisis can snap God's hold of you. This is the message in this verse. It is impossible for anything on earth to break God's grip on your life. And when you get that down in your spirit, it gives you tremendous peace and confidence. Amen. Because this verse, verse 35, who shall separate us from the love of God, a love of Christ? Shall tribulation,
Starting point is 01:43:06 shall distress, shall persecution, famine, tribulation, distress, famine, nakedness, each one of them is defeated, crushed by God's love for you. Again, when you get this into your spirit, you have this inner knowing, this peace, this confidence. Right? Any situation you face today, God will get you through it because he's with you at all times.
Starting point is 01:43:58 Amen. Verse 36, as it is written for thy sake, we are killed all the day long. We are counted as sheep for the slaughter. What does this one mean, Doug? Well, this is actually Paul referencing Psalm 4422. And this was a Psalm that most scholars think was written when the Jews were in captivity in Babylon.
Starting point is 01:44:33 And so Paul is making the case here that, just like in Old Testament times where true believers suffered, even though they did not sin, they didn't do anything wrong themselves, others did, and they found themselves caught up in the circumstances of the day, the culture of the day. That they suffered because of other people's sin.
Starting point is 01:44:58 Likewise, in Paul's day and in our day, we're killed, we're persecuted because of the sins of others. So that's one perspective on it there. And so we're constantly under attack by the enemy. Yes, we're suffering for the sake of Christ. Yes. You know, faith in Christ means you're wearing a target. And the enemy knows who to attack.
Starting point is 01:45:34 And the brighter your faith, the more you're radiating to Satan's team. That you're a live one. You're one that they better pay attention to. Sheep for the slaughter, it means we're vulnerable yet trusting. Yes. trusting. Yes. We are to be meek and yet the enemy is violent. And these trials against the church, they go on all day long. Now, they're not necessarily all day long in your life, but when the Lord is looking down at His church worldwide, He sees trials against His saints all day long. There's no pause in the storm. Some believer is under attack right now, somewhere.
Starting point is 01:46:51 Somebody somewhere in the world is under attack by the enemy. You know, we've not been talking about it on True News, but ever since Bashar Assad was chased out of Syria, the Syrian Christians have been attacked. Yes. Don't talk about that, do they? No, no, Assad, the Muslim protected the Christians, but now that Al-Qaeda is in control, thanks to Western nations, the Syrian Christians,
Starting point is 01:47:30 who go all the way back to the apostles, they are under attack. And we don't know how many of them have been executed. Right. So Paul says the attacks on the church go on all day long. And while it appears that we're defenseless, that we're vulnerable, that we're like the verse says here, like we're considered as sheep to the slaughter. Paul doesn't leave it there. He doesn't say, well, that's it, you know, there's nothing you can do about it.
Starting point is 01:48:14 In the very next verse, he says, no, in all these things, we're more than conquerors. Yes. And so he's comparing the two here. Yes, in one sense we are like sheep being led to the slaughter, but we're not. We're more than conquerors. We're more than conquerors in Christ. Yes. Even if you die, you're more than a conqueror. Even in death, you're a conqueror. You still come out winning. Praise God.
Starting point is 01:48:54 Because victory crowns the persecuted. And love always wins the war. Oh, I like it. And love always wins the war. Eternal glory always outshines earthly woe. Praise God. There's nothing you're going to suffer in this life that's greater than the glory you're going to receive in the next life. There are eternal rewards. Verse 37,
Starting point is 01:49:30 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors to him that loved us. So we're not just survivors. Yes. We victors praise god we're not just conquerors we're more than conquerors what is more than a conqueror i mean conquering is pretty uh impressive but But Paul says you're more than a conqueror. Again, every storm in life bows to Christ. And no foe escapes his authority, his reign, his sovereignty. You have to understand that when you are under attack, that whoever or whatever is attacking you, eventually must submit to Christ if you will stand on Christ in Christ in the word on the word you will just stand Eventually your foe will submit to Christ
Starting point is 01:51:02 Your victory isn't just surviving it's it's thriving It's it's a complete triumph. It surpasses victory. I don't even know what that looks like. It surpasses victory, surpasses triumph. But whatever it is, it's what Jesus did to Satan at the cross. He's more than a conqueror, and we share in it. The Lord will always turn your trial to His glory. Amen. Keep this in mind. He's allowing it to happen in your life. Doesn't mean He sent it, but He's allowing it to happen.
Starting point is 01:52:00 You need to read your line in the play. The drama is designed to bring glory to God. When the final scene of the play is over, whatever persecution, trouble you're going through, the audience is going to say, God is glorified. She came through that because of her faith. He won that victory because of his faith. God is glorified. So it's a hard thing to keep in mind when you're in a great trial, but for me, it has given me enduring strength. I remind myself, okay, I'm on stage right
Starting point is 01:52:48 now, people are watching, they want to see how I respond to this trouble. I got to read my lines. The Lord already has this written out. There's going to win this battle, because grace lifts the fallen. You can't stay down. You will be brought back up, and God's grace will cause people to to glorify Him. Your faith, when people see your faith in God, when you're expressing, when is the most difficult time to express your faith in God? When it looks like there's no hope. That's the most difficult time to express your faith. Amen. When a situation looks so bleak and you're just standing on the Word of God, that is the most difficult time because other people are rolling their eyes. They're going, oh, give me a break. You need to get real. No, the Word is real. And you just stand on the word and let the outcome be decided by God.
Starting point is 01:54:06 He'll bring it, he'll bring out and bring it about. The outcome will be in alignment with his will and he will get glory. Um, verse 38, and Doc, if you have anything to add here, please. Oh, I am. It's going to be a short lesson here today. We finish up chapter, chapter eight, verse 38, for I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels, nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come. Once again Paul is standing on his rock solid unshakable faith in Christ. Christ. An unshakable conviction, unwavering confidence that nothing is going to separate him from the love of God. That neither death nor life's troubles, life's persecutions, life's woes, nothing can tear him away from God's love.
Starting point is 01:55:31 That the hold of Christ spans everything that he would face. Yes, whether in this world or in the spiritual world. Right, and we're talking about a guy who faced a lot. Yes. Wow. I mean, what that man endured. And what he's saying is, hey, let me tell you something. I've been through shipwrecks. I have been held it with rocks.
Starting point is 01:56:02 I've been left for dead. I've been in prison. I've run from my life. I've been let down a wall in a basket to flee the people wanted to kill me. Let me tell you something I've learned. Unpersuaded. I'm persuaded. I am persuaded. Meaning you're not going to change my mind. That there's nothing that's going to separate me from my Father's love. Not death. Not life. Not angels. Not principalities. Not powers. None of these things. That none of those things can rival and surpass God's love for Him. So present woes, future fears.
Starting point is 01:57:01 Doesn't matter to Paul. He didn't get up every day going, well, man, yesterday was bad. I'm afraid of what tomorrow's going to bring. No, he had already faced some of the worst things in life. And he knew I'm more than a conqueror. Yes. I may have bruises on my body, but I'm alive. And he starts off by saying, deaths and life and angels, principalities and powers. But he also says just ordinary day to day stuff, things present and things yet to come.
Starting point is 01:57:37 And aren't there a lot of people today, Rick, that are concerned about the present and then an equal number that are concerned about the future. Yes. But Paul is saying whether it's the present or the future, I'm persuaded. That's right. I'm persuaded. love will hold firm. And every power on heaven and earth will bow its knee before Christ. Because Christ has supreme dominion. Again, he's saying he's saying, lean, lean in on that love, lean in on that assurance. Don't let anything
Starting point is 01:58:32 trouble you. Lean in on that assurance that god loves you so much. He will not let go. He will not let anything defeat you. They will not. nothing will come against you that is greater than him. That his light will outshine any darkness that comes into your life. What brings about suicide? People, people convince themselves there's no hope, there's no way out. The pain is too great, you can't endure. See, if you have these scriptures in your heart, those lies will not take root in you.
Starting point is 01:59:24 There is hope, there is a way out. Lies will not take root in you. There is hope. There is a way out. Because God will not let anything come to you that is greater than Him. If He's in your life, He will defeat it. And if you stand on His Word long enough, the ground around the rock will shift and conform to the words of God. You have to speak the Word of God. You have to speak the Word of God. Right. You have to command the ground to shift. Verse 39, nor height nor depth nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. So no peak, no plunge can break God's love.
Starting point is 02:00:31 Nor height nor depth. You can't go high enough and be out of God's reach. You can't go low enough and be beyond God's reach. His reach spans all. I just had a memory, Doc. This happened a long time ago. I was on a flight and I was in the aisle seat. I always sit in the aisle seat. And next to me were two older women. This was many years ago, I was younger. And as the plane was, as the aircraft was taxing
Starting point is 02:01:22 down the runway, I noticed, I looked over and I saw that they were just terrified. And I, you know, you could tell it, you could just see their faces. Um, their, their knuckles were white. Um, they were absolutely terrified. And I felt sorry for them, you know, because typically I fall asleep before the plane gets in the air. I'm like, hey, I got a chance to take a nap.
Starting point is 02:01:58 But they were terrified. And I asked the Lord, I said, Father, what can I say to these two women to comfort them? And He gave me Romans 8, 38 and 39. And I got my Bible out of my, I guess I probably had it there with me and I opened it up and I turned over and I said, ladies, I don't know where you stand spiritually. I said, I'm a Christian and I noticed that you seem to be very afraid. And I said, I want to read something to you. And I read these verses to them.
Starting point is 02:02:45 And they got tears in their eyes. They were going to a church conference. And it was the first time they had ever been on a plane. And they said they were asking God to comfort them. The two of them had prayed before the plane took off that God would comfort them. And I gave them Romans 8.30, 8.39. Nor height.
Starting point is 02:03:24 That was the verse that spoke to them. It popped off the page. Nor height. And I looked at them and I said, do you understand this airplane can't get high enough to separate you from God's love. We're going to be at 40,000 feet. That's nothing. You're safe. God's hand is holding. Look there's three of us on this plane. You and me. There's three of us.
Starting point is 02:03:56 This plane is not going to go down. We are God's children. This plane is not going to go down. And and so, you know, this is an instance where God used this scripture to to bring comfort to Elderly women who had never been on a plane in their life. And just those two words, nor height. She's a ramal word. The word of God is alive. It speaks to you. Yeah, it's interesting on doing the contrast on that, the depth. This morning
Starting point is 02:04:35 I get recommended articles and everything sent to me, and one article that was sent over told the story about this government lab that is a mile beneath the surface of the earth. Wow. A mile. And just the thought of it, you know, if you take me down a couple levels in a basement, I'm already feeling it. But imagine being a mile underground. One mile into the earth.
Starting point is 02:05:08 Yes. And the pressure and everything, and just know that you are completely isolated, but God's there too. Yes. He's there as well. So, nor height nor depth, that's from the sky, not only to the to the sea floor, it's below the sea floor. Right.
Starting point is 02:05:34 His love rules. Wherever you are, His love is there with you. That's what Paul wants you to understand. That sacrifice of Christ on the cross seals the bond. And that bond is eternal and God is not letting go of you. That's right. He's gripping you. He's not going to let go. He's protecting you. And he will go through any situation with you and you will
Starting point is 02:06:09 come out victorious. Because his love has locked you into place. Your place is secure. And everything else bends and bows to His sovereignty, to His authority. And you should not allow any fear to come into your life that you could be outside of God's will, outside of His protection. Anything else you want to add to this, Doc? No, the passage is pretty self-explanatory today, Rick. I mean, you don't have to have a doctorate in theology to figure out what Paul is trying to say here.
Starting point is 02:06:58 No. Paul is saying, listen, I know from personal experience, I've gone through the persecution, I've gone through the distress, I've gone through the famine, I've been left for dead. And I'm telling you, I'm persuaded. I'm persuaded. Yes.
Starting point is 02:07:16 So if there are people out there that were reading this in Paul's day in Rome, there was increasing persecution in Rome within maybe just a few years of the writing of this letter. Nero is killing Christians in Rome. And this might be a preparation for them, that days are coming where you're going to be severely persecuted. But I'm telling you, I'm persuaded. I am persuaded.
Starting point is 02:07:46 And that ought to be our theme going out throughout the whole day today. I'm persuaded. I am persuaded. I mean, just saying it a couple of times there, my heart gets lifted up. Yes, and persuaded, it doesn't mean Paul said, I think so. No.
Starting point is 02:08:03 I'm persuaded. I'm convinced. I know, but I know that I know. Okay. And he knew it because he went through so many things and God brought him through it. So that he could teach us things we will never go through. We will never experience what Paul did. Okay, so tomorrow we begin Romans chapter 9. Yeah, in Romans chapter 9 is like, Paul goes off on a side alley here for a chapter and talks about the relationship between the Jewish people and the gospel. And when we go through Romans 9, it's going to clear up a lot of dangling doctrines that are out there off dispensationalism for a lot of people. What's the relationship between the Jewish people, whether in Paul's day or today? What is the relationship? What
Starting point is 02:09:01 is expected of the Jews as it relates to what God has revealed through the gospel of Jesus Christ? It's going to clear up a lot of things for a lot of people, but it's going to take some wading through. But if you'll wade through it with us, you're going to be able to sufficiently stand up for saying the Jews need the gospel more than ever. More than ever. Yes, and so. Praise God. All right, that's tomorrow.
