Doc Burkhardt and I will give you a comprehensive 30-minute report on world news, and it's starting right now.

A lot of news today we go doc here we go this is it this is what i've been waiting for 24 years i've been telling people they're going to bring out the space aliens just before jesus comes back and we're going to show you what what members of the u.s military are now saying, we'll start with the one story. This U.S. shoots down a flying object near military sites in Michigan. An eight-sided object flying around. It's not a balloon anymore, is it? No.

What happened to the balloons? Well, they're not calling them balloons anymore, Rick. They're calling them objects. So are they not balloons? Well, they're calling them objects. A military general says he will not rule out any explanation as fourth object is down over North America this month. This eight-sided one that they're talking about was over Lake Huron over the weekend. Well, now this next story, this is what I saw early this morning. Pentagon does not know what these unidentified objects are

nor how they stay airborne. You would think they would know, right? So there's a General Van Hurk today. The U.S. Air Force General overseeing North American airspace, said on Sunday, after a series of shoot-downs of unidentified objects, that he would not rule out aliens or any other explanation yet, deferring to U.S. intelligence experts. Do we just need to pause?

And just swallow that a little bit? Look at what a U.S. general said on Sunday. He's not going to rule out that the things that are appearing over North America, he's not going to rule out that they're not space aliens. So asked directly whether he had ruled out extraterrestrial origin for three airborne objects shot down by U.S. warplanes in as many days. General Glenn Van Herk said, I'll let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out.

I haven't ruled out anything. All right, you're the leader of NORAD. Like you say, Rick, they track Santa Claus every year, right? You can't rule out that it's aliens? And up until Saturday, we thought they were shooting balloons. Yes, now we're shooting objects. Objects that... That could be driven by space aliens.

Right. So another U.S. defense official speaking on the condition of anonymity said the military had seen no evidence suggesting any of the objects in question were of extraterrestrial origin. All right, Doc, right here. Are there any such things as coincidences? No, I don't believe in them. That's right.

So the fact that a high-ranking general could not rule out that the possibility that there are space aliens visiting us right now, is that a coincidence? Is that... I mean, we're talking a high-ranking general. The point what I'm trying to say is it was planned. Yes. It was planned.

They meant to say it that way. He could have just come out and said, of course not. They're not aliens. But then they come back and, you know, you have another official. It's good cop, bad cop. Right. So one says, could be aliens. The other one says, well, we're not sure. Right. But they got the

alien idea in your head. That's right. They're not balloons now. They might be space aliens. So Mr. Van Hurk said the military was unable to immediately determine the means by which any of the three latest objects were kept aloft

or where they were coming from. We're calling them objects, not balloons, for a reason. But what's the reason, General? They're not balloons. That's the reason. Well, if it's not a balloon, what is it, General? They don't know, or they're pretending they don't know, one of the two. The government's effort to investigate anomalous unidentified objects whether they're in space, the skies

or even underwater has led to hundreds of documented reports that are being investigated saying they're military leaders. You mean we have these things swimming through the water? There have been sightings of what they call underwater flying objects.

I know, but he just he just said it. They're telling us now there are also these objects moving through the ocean and the lakes. Get ready. The big lie. The big lie is is coming. Well, earlier this afternoon, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby was appearing at the White House for the daily press briefing, and he was asked about this particular topic. And I'll just let him speak in his own words. This was about 1.30 today. The president also instructed the intelligence community to take a broad look at the phenomenon of unidentified aerial objects. Indeed, President Biden conducted the first ever daily intelligence briefing session devoted to this phenomenon back in June of 2021.

He was briefed that this is not just an issue for the United States, but one for the rest of the world. And as I said, our friends and our partners are dealing with this as well. We worked on a bipartisan basis to stand up in office at the Pentagon to study this in partnership with the intelligence community, academic institutions, and the private sector. These unidentified aerial phenomena

have been reported for many years without explanation or deep examination by the government. President Biden has changed all that. We are finally trying to understand them better. Now, in light of the Chinese balloon program and this recent incursion into our airspace, the United States and Canada, through NORAD, have been more closely scrutinizing that airspace, including enhancing our radar capabilities,

which, as the commander of NORTHCOM and NORAD, General Van Hurk, said just last night, may at least partially explain the increase in the objects that have been detected. Slow-moving objects at high altitude with a small radar cross-section are difficult to detect on radar. Even objects the size of the Chinese spy balloon, which had a payload the size of roughly three school buses, were not picked up by previous administrations or other countries. We also know that a range of entities, including countries, companies, research, and academic organizations, operate objects at these altitudes for purposes

that are not nefarious at all, including scientific research. That said, because we have not yet been able to definitively assess what these most recent objects are, we acted out of an abundance of caution to protect the security, our security, our interest, and flight safety. Okay, wait a minute, Doc. Tell me what you heard in that, Rick, and I'll tell you what I heard. Mr. Kirby said that President Joe Biden

convened and chaired his first UFO briefing in July of 2021. June, yes. June, June of 21? Yes. This is 2023. That's right. He just told us

they've been aware of objects in the sky. Joe Biden had a UFO meeting in June of 2021. No, they actually have a working group that's been active since that time. Yes, that's what I mean, but he said President Biden chaired the briefing. Okay.

That's the first thing. Two years ago. The other thing I picked up, he said that, you know, there have been multiple objects in past administrations. Yes, that they were able to. No, he said that past administrations

did not see, did not notice. Excuse me. It's not the White House's job to monitor the skies. It's the responsibility of the Department of Defense and particularly NORAD. And they don't belong to any administration. So Mr. Kirby, what you should have said is NORAD did not see them. Don't say the past president didn't see it. The president doesn't stand out on the White House balcony at night

with binoculars looking for UFOs. The Pentagon, the Pentagon is assigned the responsibility, and particularly NORAD, to watch the skies. So if objects came over North America multiple times, and you just are finding out about it now, don't blame the past presidents. You take responsibility for it. But what I heard

there though, Rick, is they were aware of objects in the sky. They can't say they didn't know about it after June, 2021. They knew about it. They knew there were objects in the sky because they had to set up a working committee to address the issue. The only reason why we They knew about it. by civilian aircraft. But we're not talking about balloons anymore. That's right. Because this isn't, these aren't balloons. So was the balloon used to introduce the UFO idea?

That or it caused, you know, the well to break open or it caused, you know, the well to break open, if you will. Okay, so then over the weekend, China spotted some type of UFO over one of its major port cities. Right, this is from South China Morning Post here. China spots mystery object

over waters near its northern port city. Now, authorities say they will prepare to be able to shoot down the unidentified object if it so chooses. And we're going to have a UFO war. Well, John Kirby later on in this press conference said that many countries have had exposure to this. What? I just find it shocking that they are actually talking about it at the White House.

This is the disclosure event, Doc. That's what's coming. The disclosure event. Yeah, they're softening us up right now. Just... They're marinating us right now. Just study it. I don't know if disclosure event

is still on the internet like it used to be years ago. I interviewed a man, I can't even remember his name. It was probably 15, 18 years ago, Doc. I was living in Texas. So that was pre 2005. And he told me about the disclosure event that would be the day that the Pentagon, the U.S. government, reveals to the world that they've been in contact with extraterrestrials. And, of course, he believed it was fake also. That day's coming.

We're really close to it right now. While we're talking about space-based weapons, I found this story this morning out of the Inquirer newspaper in the Philippines, not the Inquirer gossip page here in America. China harasses Philippine Coast Guard vessel with laser. Yes. Almost like the same kind of green laser they were shooting out over

Hawaii here. But that was coming from the sky. Right. I mean, most likely from a satellite. Those laser lights that were, you know, and I still haven't figured out what that blue spiral was. You know, I don't believe that's a SpaceX satellite. Then

we had an asteroid explode over the English Channel over the weekend. This is like, I feel like I'm doing a sci-fi news report. Last Friday, the sun blew its top. No, we've got lights in the sky. So an asteroid exploded over the English Channel after a rare early detection. We have some video of that for you to see here. So this is in southern England, and it lit up the sky, not just in the UK, but also in France as well.

Now, this is not a meteor. No, it's an asteroid. It's an asteroid. So if it had maintained its size and had landed, it could have caused substantial damage. And then we'll take a look at the giant statue of Jesus Christ in Brazil. Yes. Notice anything unusual about it?

So a lightning strike. This was caught on camera by an amateur photographer in Rio de Janeiro. This is the huge statue of Christ and that once in a moment time where lightning strikes it. Actually, lightning struck it a couple years ago and blew Jesus' thumb off. I'm not joking about that. Yeah, Doc, are we in a period now

of signs in the sky? Signs in the sky. I mean, it's like warning lights on a dashboard. God's given us an opportunity to make corrections or at least consider the corrections that we need to make in our life. Yeah, if you got three or four lights flashing on your car dashboard,

it's probably something going to happen. Right. Okay, so we'll talk about World War III. I've got 15 minutes remaining. Telegraph in London. Russia strikes key Odessa Bridge with first use of drone boat. I'll show you the video right now. Here it goes.

And he said, Russia will remember this day. So Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuliba announced big events on the anniversary of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

He noted the aggressor will remember this day. This is what he said. There will be many important political signals. There will be decisions on sanctions, weapons, and there will be symbols of unity, and this will happen at all levels. I will say this. Russia will remember how the world will mark the anniversary of its full-scale aggression

against Ukraine, Kulibis said. So on the anniversary, the first year anniversary of the war, if he's correct, then the NATO nations are going to make major announcements on February 24th. And then maybe more? Yes. Well, they're going to have to deliver on their announcements. Right. So I'm taking that they're going to make announcements of new weapons being sent to

Ukraine. I heard a deeper threat than that. I thought that maybe they'll roll out some sort of offensive or weapon against Russia that day or an attack. That's my first thought. When I first read it, that was my first thought, Doc. Did he just tell us that Ukraine is going to attack Russia or Crimea on February 24th? Is there going to be a big attack? Are they going to attack Moscow? We'll wait and see. It's not that far off.

Next one, Newsweek. U.S. orchestrating covert terror attacks inside Russia claims the Russian foreign intelligence. We're not going to go deep into this, but Russia's foreign spy agency said they have intelligence. And again, this is their claim. They have intelligence that says the United States and NATO is recruiting Islamic terrorists to carry out terrorist attacks inside Russia. Recruiting directly from ISIS and al-Qaeda in particular.

Yes, they named ISIS and al-Qaeda, which are two CIA operations. Now, I want to see the next two articles because these may be connected. Do not travel to Russia due to unpredictable consequences of the unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It goes on to say U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Russia should depart immediately. So they're telling U.S. citizens you probably need to get out of Dodge, in particular get out of Russia. So this is a warning right now. So what are they trying to tell everyone here? Like get out before February 24th?

Right. Next one, I'm going to jump down to 32. The French foreign ministry told all French citizens to leave Belarus immediately. Now, I'm making a bet that you're going to see a lot of these kind of announcements over the next few days from a whole bunch of different countries for their citizens to leave particular areas and to get out.

So we've opened the door right now. So do these two announcements lend credibility to Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service saying they have information that the U.S. is going to carry out terrorist attacks in Russia? Well, in that announcement from the embassy in Moscow, it said in particular, terrorist attacks are likely. So they know something. They know something. Oh, it's in the State Department? Of that U.S. embassy announcement that we had. So maybe large buildings

in Moscow explode, subway, trains, airports, so forth. They're telling Americans get out of Russia, get out. And the French are saying get out of Belarus. Okay, the next one is, this is Jerusalem Post. Elon Musk denies Ukrainian military access to Starlink to prevent World War III.

And this is part of a conversation that Mr. Musk had with astronaut Scott Kelly. Scott Kelly had posted this on Twitter, basically addressing it directly to Mr. Musk. Ukraine desperately needs your continued support. Please restore the full functionality of your Starlink. Defense from a genocidal invasion is not an offensive capability. It's survival. Innocent lives will be lost. You can help. Thank you., Elon Musk cut off the Ukrainian military from using Starlink. So, basically, he said, I don't want this being used for targeting or anything like that because they were using it to pilot drones. They were using it for establishing contact.

Elon Musk responded to astronaut Scott Kelly saying, you're smart enough not to swallow media and other propaganda BS. Starlink is the communication backbone of Ukraine, especially at the front lines where almost all internet connectivity has been destroyed, but we will not enable escalation of conflict that may lead to World War III. Okay, so when I read this, Doc, I dug down down it's like okay what's going on what what's what prompted elon musk to suddenly cut off starlink to the ukrainian military he hasn't cut off access to the ukraine right but the military can't use it for military purposes so i found these next two stories uh next one says uh spacex curbed ukraine's use of starland starlink internet for drones i want to i want to underline drones specifically what elon musk did is he said the ukrainian military cannot use starlink for internet connectivity for drones. Why drones, Doc? Here's the next article.

DPR chief warns Ukrainian forces use drone-dropped chemical weapons. And I believe they are. I do. Pushlin says that he's been receiving reports like this for about three weeks now. There's a number of videos now popping up on social media that is accusing Ukrainians of using chemical weapons delivered via drones. And, Rick, there was an EU official here last week that said that, you know, we should open the door for Ukraine to use whatever weapons they want to, basically saying, giving the green light to chemical weapons. Okay, so here's my thinking about Elon Musk.

I think when he was told that Ukraine is using drones to deliver chemical bombs to Russian forces, I believe that he was advised by his attorneys, bombs to Russian forces. I believe that he was advised by his attorneys, you are now part of genocide, war crimes. And after this war, if there is a Nuremberg trial, you're going to be indicted. I'm talking about the Russians. We're talking about the other half of the world

holding Nuremberg trials. That's right. Not us. Not us, but the other side. And they declare Elon Musk a war criminal. And there's a warrant out for his arrest or his assassination. I think that's the reason. The moment he found out that Starlink was being used to guide drones delivering chemical

weapons, he knew that he had a criminal link that could end up destroying him. He was now responsible for a criminal activity, a war crime activity. Mr. Stoltenberg, the head of NATO, said, we plan to increase targets for ammunition stockpiles. They want more bullets, more ammo, more bombs, more mortars, anything to kill more people. And he's telling all NATO nations, you've got to ramp up production of war materials. Right, because their reserves are being pretty much depleted right now. But Rick, they're a good six to 12 months away from full production on ammunition and supplies. And they tried to address this at a press conference today with Mr. Stoltenberg, and he said, we're just going to have to work harder to do it.

Remember last week he said the next six months was going to be really bad? Yes. Really serious? This next one is from Russia's Navasti. Foreign ministry warns Japan about the response to the deployment of missiles near the border of Russia. Doc, just last week we said when the Japanese officials started talking about World War II, there was no settlement with Russia.

Right. And you said to me, Rick, they're getting ready to get Japan into this war. And they found a way to do it. And they found a way to do it. And so Russia will immediately respond to Japan in any threat to the Far East, including the appearance of hypersonic missiles on the border islands,

said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Radenko. So do you think that the U.S. has been floating around the idea to Japan, hey, let's park some hypersonic missile on the Kuril Islands? Yes. Yes. And now it's gotten back to Moscow. Yes, they're going to arm the islands, and now Russia is saying, okay, Japan, Tokyo, you want in this fight? You're going to arm the islands and now russia is saying okay japan tokyo you want in this fight

you're going to be in this fight what's so crazy doc is that the united states it was japan that bombed us in world war ii and it was russia that fought with us against the nazis And here we are now, going into World War III, and Japan is the ally of the United States, and Russia is our enemy. Or at least we're told. Well, that's what we're told. That's what I mean. It's in Germany, okay?

So the United States is now in league with Germany and Japan. Against Russia. Against Russia. Against Russia. Something's backwards here, isn't it? Maybe we, the United States, maybe we flip sides. While we're on topic of war in Asia, this is from the Manila Times.

It wasn't that long ago where they were running the U.S. military out of the Philippines for the very reason that we were pictured as being colonial power and everything. And now we're bringing them back in. And I love the Philippines, but at the same time, it's interesting on the switch rick because duterte was leaning more toward russia when he was in power yes uh he was working to make deals on energy and uh all sorts of things

and now bong bong is in and we're going full when we say bong bong we're talking about yeah uh ferdinand marcus jr his nickname isbong. Okay, we're not being disrespectful. That's his nickname. Now, while you talk about countries leaning towards Russia or China, let's take a look at the last couple articles. 54, this is Financial Times in London. Remember, it's owned by the Rothschilds.

This is today. It is time to cut Russia out of the global financial system. And that was written by Serey Marchenko, the Ukraine Minister of Finance, saying that Moscow is mocking the rules-based order, Rick. Well, the Russians are planning to cut the United States out of the global system. Saudi Arabia seeks to join the SCO in BRICS, according to Russia's ambassador to Saudi Arabia. This is a huge news article, Doc.

And I saw nothing anywhere in American newspapers about this. No, because they wouldn't like this bad news. The SCO is the Shanghai Cooperative Organization. A number of nations are already involved with that. But the shift to BRICS is like a runaway train right now. There are going to be countries jumping on board this train over the course of this year. Yes, Sergey Kozlov, he said, as part of diversifying its foreign policy, Saudi Arabia is interested in joining such authoritative international associations as the SEO and BRICS.

The issue of partnership in the SEO dialogue is under active consideration, while the possible membership of Saudi Arabia in the BRICS is currently being considered conceptually. That is a huge announcement. And then South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, BRICS expanding to Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. In more than a dozen countries. Yeah, let's jump into this really quick number 60. Algeria, Argentina, Iran, Afghanistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey expressing interest. Also, Kazakhstan, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Senegal, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates also indicating they're interested in joining the BRICS alliance.

This is probably an obscure Bible story that many of you have never heard of, never read, or maybe it's been a long time and you forgot about it. Well, let today's lesson refresh you and bless you because this is an awesome story of God providing a miracle supply of food for the people he loves and the people who love him. Doc, would you read this for us, please?

It would be my pleasure, Rick. This is 2 Kings 4, verses 38 through 41. And Elisha came again to Gilgal, and there was a dearth in the land. And the sons of the prophets were sitting before him. And he said unto his servants, Set on the great pot, and seed the pottage for the sons of the prophets.

And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full and came and tread them into the pot of pottage for they knew them not. So they poured out for the men to eat and it came to pass as they were eating of the pottage that they cried out and said, O thou man of God, there's death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof. But he said, then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot. And they could not eat thereof. But he said, then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot. And he said, pour out for the people that they may eat.

And there was no harm in the pot. Like I said, it's an obscure passage for a lot of people. But when I was a young man, young believer, I used to hear messages on this particular passage about God's miraculous supply in times of desperate trouble. And there was trouble in the land here. There was, King James calls it dearth, but that's drought or famine. Let's just say it was a rough time for folks right there. And food was scarce. That's right. So we'll set the stage, as Doc just said, there was famine in the land, a drought,

little food, people were hungry, people were starving. And if you've ever been to the Holy Land and you know what the terrain looks like, Doc, it's easy to imagine what life was like when there was a drought. Yes. Because there's not a lot of rain there when there's not a drought. So when there's really a drought and the food supply has vanished and livestock has died from lack of water and food. I mean, you can imagine how depressing it was. I know we've been to the Middle East several times now and it amazes me they're even able to scrape out life out of the desert right now with what little water they have.

And yet there are many that manage to take care of their families and more and provide food for the markets and the cities. But can you imagine a famine, a drought in the land? Nothing grows. Well, that's what the situation was here. And, Doc, Elijah, he traveled to Gilgal, and there was a school of prophets there. This is one of the things that fascinates me. Today here in America, we have Bible colleges everywhere.

We have seminaries and Bible colleges and so forth. And I guess a lot of people think that's a modern Western concept of religious education. But in the Old Testament, they had Bible colleges. They were training the prophets. They were teaching the men of God how, they taught them how to understand the Word of God and how to believe God and how to teach the people to trust God.

What's unique about this particular school, too, is that in other passages, it wasn't just a Bible school or a prophet training center. It was a trade school, too. They were learning to do things. They were building things. They were cutting down trees. They were doing business, Rick.

These students together were doing business with the community around them. So they weren't just sitting around all day reading scrolls. They were working part with the community around them. So they weren't just sitting around all day reading scrolls. They were working part of the day and they were studying under the ministry leader part of the day. And that reminds me of Jesus's instructions to his disciples, engage in business until I come. And that's what all of us should be doing right now, be engaged in business, primarily the father's business, but be engaged in business, be productive, use the talents, the skills,

the resources that he has given you for the benefit of the kingdom and the benefit of your own family and those around you. And that's what these young men were doing, but they were studying to serve the Lord. And there was approximately 100 young men in this school. And so Elijah arrived at the school, and he's like the visiting dean.

He's the elder. And the young men wanted to honor him. And so they started to prepare a dinner. And that's when trouble set in. So they start this meal. And there was no food. There was no water. I mean, it wasn't completely gone, but it was scarce. It was precious.

You didn't have a lot of water to work with. You didn't have a lot of food items to make a meal. But Elijah said, you know, he looked around at the situation. And he was not, he did not stagger at the sight of lack. Right. And that's important. His faith eyes saw abundance. His natural eyes saw lack.

But his faith eyes saw abundance. And he said, bring me the big kettle. The great pot. The great pot. Now, can you imagine what this pot must have been? They called it the great pot. Well, have you, I know you have, because you're a farm boy. You grew up in Missouri. I grew up in Western Maryland and have great memories of big old cast iron kettles on outdoor fires in the you know, and there's snow all around and you got this massive kettle boiling.

I mean, those kettles were big, massive. And that's what I picture. Me too. I mean, it's boiling, it's hot, the steam's coming off. I mean, you know it's enough to feed 100 people. What I imagine, Doc, is that one of the young men brought a little saucepan out. Because he was using his natural eyes. He was like, hey, I looked in the pantry.

There's not much in there. And we could make this little saucepan and share it. We all get a little couple tablespoons of soup here for 100 guys. But Elijah said, no, don't bring me the saucepan. No. Get me the kettle. The big one. Get the big one. Now, you have to wonder what did the young preachers in training think at that moment. Bring us, you want the big kettle. Well, we only have this little handful of stuff to put in it. What are you going to do with it?

And there's hardly any water around here, okay? But they must have been wondering, why? What are you thinking? You want the biggest kettle that we have. Elijah, yes, bring it out here. Bring it out here. Bring it out. See, now, there's nothing wrong with saucepan faith. Faith is faith.

Faith is good. Little faith is good. Medium faith is good. Great faith is really good. There's nothing wrong with saucepan faith. But there were 100 hungry men there and you needed kettle faith. And so the prophet who was training the young prophets had to teach them, you can't make this happen in the natural. You're going to have to have kettle faith. Guys, you've got saucepan faith. And you're barely getting by in these hard times, but I'm going to show you

kettle faith. This is how you do it. And any type of educational system, Doc, hands-on training is better than book learning. You can teach people out of a book all day long, but until you put them out in the field and say, this is how you do it, that's when they learn. And so what Elijah was doing was saying, look, I know you guys have been learning about faith, but I'm going to show you faith. Go get the big kettle.

So then what happened at this point? Well, he gave the instruction that after they brought the great pot, he told them to go and gather items for the pot and see the pottage for the sons of the prophets. So that was the instruction that the prophet gave to these young men. And so it wasn't just the matter of the faith of the prophet, but now Elisha is involving the other men in this process as well. They're an active participant in this. They're helping to create the miracle that's going to happen later on. And Elisha, he had faith.

He knew that God was the source of everything. At the beginning of the program, and I said there are three faith principles. And the first one is your heavenly father is your source for everything you need. And that's what Elijah knew. He knew that God was able to fill the kettle. God could fill the saucepan, but God can fill the kettle just as easy as he can fill the saucepan. That's true. When you're God, it's not a big deal to do something big. And so Elijah had faith that God could fill the kettle.

And so he was looking to God as the source of his supply. And there was no limitation. Look, we're in a time right now in the world that the economy is getting difficult for people. Even here in America, you've got companies that are laying off employees by the thousands. Look at the price of food it's and and eggs eggs are becoming difficult to to acquire and people paying seven eight nine dollars a dozen for eggs right and we're all feeling the pinch and this these waves of inflation will continue probably for the next 10 to 15 years if we're in another inflationary cycle like we were in the 70s and 80s and so you've got to learn to use your faith and you can't you can't cut back

you know all of us should be frugal i absolutely believe in frugality uh again i grew up in a country. I learned how to make do with what you had. But you can't be so frugal that you become stingy with yourself. People can be stingy with themselves, Doc. They can. And what does that mean to be stingy with yourself? You punish yourself. You cut back so much. And you're cutting back because you fear.

You fear that you won't have enough. See, there's a difference in frugality and fear. Frugality is to be a wise steward. But I'm frugal so that I have more to give. There you go. Did you hear what I said? I'm frugal. I'm frugal with that I have more to give. There you go. Did you hear what I said? I'm frugal. I'm frugal with my money,

with my possessions, with my resources. I'm frugal. I'm careful. I get the best that I can get for the money I spend. I don't waste. I'm really, Doc, I hate waste. I just, I don't like it. I get really upset when I see people wasting things. I'm frugal, but the reason I'm frugal is that I

will have more to give. Give to the work of God for the preaching of the gospel and to give to people who don't have resources right now. I love to give. It is the greatest thing in my life to give. I absolutely love to give. I live to give. I can't wait to give. I just enjoy it. It is a pleasure to me to give to people and to give to the work of God. So I'm frugal, but it's for the purpose of having extra to give. So in this situation, Elijah was, he was looking to God with eyes of abundance. He knew God is able to fill this kettle. I don't care what the look, I don't care that the fields fill this kettle. I don't care what the look, I don't care that the fields are barren.

I don't care that everything is dried up. My God is not dried up. And in many ways, the miracle occurred when he called for the pot. Amen. Because he saw the pot filled before it was full. That's right. Elisha saw the pot filled before it was full.

What is faith? What's the definition of faith? Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is the assurance is more real than the reality. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Substance. Real.

You can touch it. Substance. Of what? Of the things you hope for. It's the evidence of things not seen. When you use your faith, you are in possession of the substance of the very thing that you're hoping for.

And you, in your heart and in your mind and in your mouth, you have the evidence of the things not seen. Evidence. It's in your mouth. It's in your mind. It's in your heart. You're already in possession of it because you have faith in God.

And that's where Elijah was at. He got that big kettle. He saw that thing running over. It wasn't just full in his He saw that thing running over. It wasn't just full. In his mind, it was running over. They were going to have to clean up a mess because there was so much soup in that pot. Now, Doc, they ran into a problem. Right.

What was the problem? Well, one went out into the field to gather herbs and found a wild vine. And gathered thereof, the wild gourds slapped full and shredded in the pot. But it turns out that that wild vine poisoned the pot. So now we've got something that is interfering, if you will, with the miracle. Now, so how do you respond to that? What happens when the wild vine gets in the pot, Rick? Well, let's talk about the wild vine. I mean, you know, some people say it was a gourd, a squash, a pumpkin.

There was something out there in the field that one of the young men gathered it and said, I'll bring this in. Things are so, there's so few carrots and potatoes for this soup. I'm going to bring this thing in and put it in the soup. And whatever it was, it wasn't fit for the pot. That's the key thing. It was toxic. Right. It was toxic. The moment, the moment the young man started to eat the soup, they spit it out and said, there's, that thing will kill you. Don't eat that stuff. Right. I mean, they literally said, there's death in this soup. So they, they, they responded to it immediately. It had a, it had a bitter taste that they recognized and they knew you cannot consume

this food. It will kill you or it will make you so sick you're going to be up all night vomiting. You'll wish you never put this in your mouth. The problem was this thing had been chopped and diced. It's all in the soup. And shredded. It's mixed all through the soup. There wasn't just one big old gourd in the middle of the pot. You could just fish it out and toss it out.

No, somebody had chopped it up and threw hundreds of pieces of it into the pot. It's all through the soup. Now, in the natural, the response would have been, it's ruined, that there's nothing we can do. It's all through the pot. There's death. There's death in the pot itself, all through it in the natural. But when you're operating the supernatural, even when a wild vine comes into the situation and a bad gourd gets into the pot, that's not the end of the miracle process. No, it isn't.

In the natural, people would have said, stop eating it. We're going to dump it all out. When this pot cools down, we're just going to pour it out. Don't anybody touch it. You're going to get a bit hungry. We'll wake up in the morning. We'll figure out what we're going to do for breakfast. But if you eat this soup, you're going to be sick throughout the night.

You might even die. Don't eat it. Better to get a bit hungry. Throw it out. This didn't work. The prophet was wrong. Well, maybe they were thinking the prophet had good intentions.

The man of God had good intentions, but the soup got, it got contaminated. So we just, you know, yeah, he filled the kettle up, but the kettle has poison in it. So it's half a miracle. Yeah, half a miracle.

So they would have thrown out the whole thing. That's what we would do today. Whenever God is doing something in a church, in a family, in a business or whatever, the devil is going to get involved in it, Doc. And if there are any humans in the room, the humans are going to get involved in it doc and and if if there are any humans in the room the humans are going to contaminate it right what this represents is false doctrine it's false doctrine the gourd is false doctrine and we take the parable of the tares. And Jesus said that while good men slept, the evil ones sowed tares. Tares are not weeds. They're, well, it's a lookalike plant. It looks,

it's Darnell. Darnell is a plant that looks identical to wheat. Grows up right beside it it and you can't tell the difference and it's yes it's identical and the only time you know that it's darnell that it's it's a it's a weed it's a tear is at harvest time but here's the thing if you eat if you consume darnell Consumed, Darnell, it will make you drunk. Right. In ancient times, people used it as a hallucinogenic drug. Psychotropic drug, yes. So it's just like what happened here with this kettle of soup. Something got thrown in that if you consumed it, it was going to affect you.

So tares in a church are like this poison pumpkin that went into the soup. The enemy, Satan, sows tears into the church. Every church, every Christian organization has tears. There's wheat and tears. And Jesus said, don't pull the tares up. You might accidentally rip up wheat. Wait until the end of time. And when I come back with my angels, the angels, they're experts. They know how to spot real tares. They know the difference between tares and wheat. And my angels on judgment day will gather the tares, bundle them and burn them, but he'll harvest the wheat. And so in this story, what Elijah says is we're going to eat the soup. Yes. Don't be throwing this out. What did he do?

He gave an instruction. He said, bring me some flour. Bring me some flour. And he put flour into the pot, meal into the pot. And the flour is wheat. Right. How about that, Doug? The flour is made of wheat.

So what do you believe that the flour here in this particular story represents for us today? Is the gospel, the truth, the wheat, the living word of God, when there are tears, when there's false doctrines in a church or a ministry or a Bible college or whatever, don't go on some type of campaign that you're going to rip all the tares out and chase them out of the church and tar and feather them and drive them out. That's not your assignment.

You're going to hurt some wheat when you do that. That's right. There are going to be good people who are going to get hurt because you're trying to be the one who tears out of the church. What you do is that you throw in the meal. You throw in the flour, and the flour is the pure gospel. Preach the cross. Preach the gospel, the pure gospel. When the gospel goes into your church or ministry, it will overtake the tares.

And the people will be able, there'll be enough gospel, enough good wheat, good flour in your church or your ministry. Whatever you're doing for God, there will be enough there that it will sustain them. And it will overtake the tares and the poison that the enemy has put in. Doc, man, this is practical living for today. And this works in every church. If you just don't fight with the tears, don't, like I said, don't go on a campaign to rip the church apart and get them out of your denomination or anything. Just pour on the gospel.

And this goes along with- They'll run. They'll run. They can't stand the gospel. And this goes along with our concept of the Daniel 11 church too, that there's a time to resist, but there's also a time to submit.

And those that submit are wise, Daniel 11 says, and the wise teach. In other words, we preach and teach and we continue to build on top of that. We don't picket, we don't fight for judges, we don't do all that, but rather we preach the gospel message. Amen. Listen, there's a lot that the church can learn out of this. Faith. Faith brings the kettle to the stove. Okay, it's faith. Faith fills the kettle with water. Faith lights the fire.

Faith expects God to fill the pot with good things. Don't be depressed by what's going on in the world. And don't listen to the negative reports about the economy. Your economy is in heaven. Your supply is your father and he is able to fill your pot. And when your pot is filled, you can feed your neighbors who don't have any faith. And when they ask you, how are you so abundant? You have the opportunity to tell them, I have my faith in Almighty God. I am a child of the King, and He supplies His family with everything we need. You can join. You can be a child of God, too.

All you have to do is repent of your sins, call on the name of Jesus Christ, be baptized into his church, and live a clean, righteous life for the Lord. God bless. See you tomorrow.
