Somebody should take away Ukrainian leader Zelensky's shovel because he's digging his hole deeper with President Donald Trump. It seems as though everybody in the world is fed up with him except the U.S. Congress, the American news media, and European Union politicians. This is True News for Thursday, February 20, 2025. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's news with this tip from National Security Advisor Mike Waltz to Ukraine Zelensky. What do you think? Yes. I mean, what do you think is the main message Kellogg needs to deliver to Zelensky today after all of the back and forth yesterday? Let's tone down the rhetoric and sign the economic opportunity. Sign the deal. Is that Kellogg's directive today is to get him to sign the deal?
Starting point is 00:01:55 Well, he's out there talking to him about a number of things, but that would be I think that would be a tremendous step forward. Thank you so much. Tone down the rhetoric. Focus on economic opportunities. Sign the deal. Right. Okay, so he's talking about retired General Kellogg who is President Trump's envoy to Ukraine and Russia to end the war. So General Kellogg was in Kiev to meet with Mr. Zelensky. It was a frosty meeting. There's very little news about it.
Starting point is 00:02:33 Right. What little, I've seen a video, ice cold. Probably best way to describe it. And well, I'll show you some some we'll show you some video here this is uh the two men meeting um in uh ukraine here they are um you know mr zielinski's you know he's all dressed up waiting for his uh high level diplomatic uh visitor coming in He put on his best sweater. But when General Kellogg comes in, again, there's nobody else in the room. There's no warm welcome of
Starting point is 00:03:16 President Trump's envoy. He walks in a few seconds after that, but it's a very cold, very frosty meeting. Right. He's not taking advantage of a photo op or anything like that. No, they were going to hold a press conference. And from my understanding, and there's very little news about it, General Kellogg canceled the press conference. Yes, he did.
Starting point is 00:03:43 He didn't want to have a photo op with Mr. Zelensky. Right. Apparently he was in a bad mood and left. That was probably coming from President Trump. Yeah, he probably gave him the orders and said, just get out of there. Just leave. Walk away. We've got a video.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I think you have to read the English subtitles on this. So let's watch. Our meeting with General Kellogg is scheduled for tomorrow. And it's crucial for us that the meeting and our overall cooperation with America be constructive. Together with America and Europe, peace can be more secure. And that is our goal. And most importantly, this should not be not our only goal, but a shared one with our partners, especially as we approach the third anniversary of the beginning of this war, a war that we in Ukraine have wanted to end from the very first
Starting point is 00:04:38 second. I'm confident that we will end it and with a lasting peace and in such a way that Russia will never be able to invade Ukraine again and that Ukrainians will return from Russian captivity and that Ukraine will have a future we recorded that yesterday so that was yesterday and then General Kellogg showed up today the press conference was cancelled things did not go well. London Telegraph says Trump accuses Zelensky of riding U.S. gravy train and breaching the rare earth mineral deal.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Yes. London Telegraph is saying that exactly, Rick. The U.S. president had previously demanded $500 billion of Ukraine's mineral riches as compensation for U.S. military aid since the Russian invasion three years ago. Mr. Zelensky signaled he was open to an agreement, but turned down a proposal this week on the basis that its security guarantees to protect Kiev from Russian aggression were inadequate. That's his reasoning. But on Wednesday evening, last night, Mr. Trump accused Mr. Zelensky of reneging on the agreement and enjoying a gravy train at America's expense, just hours after labeling his Ukrainian counterpart a dictator. You know, Doc,
Starting point is 00:06:03 the American deep state has guarded and protected the Ukraine-Russia war narrative as tightly and fiercely as they guarded and protected the COVID narrative. Right. You were not allowed to have another thought. No, you weren't. End of discussion. They'll shut you down. not allowed to have another thought. No, you weren't. End of discussion. You can't have another thought. They shut us down over it. Yes. Nobody's allowed to speak. Right. Did we get shut down on that one too? What? Because of COVID? No, no. I'm talking about Ukraine. We've been shut down by so many people. I don't know. I lost
Starting point is 00:06:44 track. Okay. Truth will get you shut down until now you can speak the truth now and this is where i'm going that the the rulers of the deep state who are in a state of panic because people are now saying what they've been thinking for a long time as Ed Zelinsky's been riding a gravy train. We've known this for years. And we've been saying it. We've said it over and over again. It's obvious. Anybody with two eyeballs, they can see what's going on.
Starting point is 00:07:17 But there was no way to break through that. You were not allowed to say it. USA funded wall of media that didn't allow you to say anything different. And so the news media that was funded by USAID. Right. Now, they got plenty of money. Man, the money flows to the deep state media. Folks like us, we have to depend.
Starting point is 00:07:42 I don't know how everybody else does it. We depend on depend. I don't know how everybody else does it. We depend on God. But the other ones depend on government transfers of money. Talking about the news media. But anyhow, what's driving people crazy is that President Trump is openly saying what millions of people have believed all along. And he said it's a gravy train. And it's not just a gravy train for Zelensky and his cronies. It's a gravy train for politicians and news
Starting point is 00:08:15 media and defense contractors. Yes. They've all been a giant laundromat. That's right. And the money's been going around and around and everybody's been and there was no desire to end it. Why would you end the war? Why would you desire to end the war that it's providing you with an endless flow of money? Right. So President Trump is just coming out and saying what many of us believed and were saying, you know, and having a difficult time getting heard. Yeah, and the only price that was being paid were dead Ukrainians and dead Russians.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Yes. And we don't like the Russians, so that's okay that they're dead, and we don't know who the Ukrainians are. Do you know who? It's okay if they're dead, too. Do you know who just came out completely freaked out, angry at President Trump and anybody who's opposing Zelensky, Mark Levin. Oh, yes. I saw his post on X. It's revealing, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:09:14 This is revealing what people really are about. Oh, and then we'll share some comments from U.S. senators here in a little bit. We're smoking them out. Yes. We are smoking them out. Yes. We are smoking them out. So, you know, whatever label you put on yourself, MAGA, conservative, patriot,
Starting point is 00:09:34 conservative, whatever it is, you're going to have to decide, is this person that you've been promoting all along, are they truly on your side? Right. Is Mark Levin really a conservative? Or is he a mouthpiece for some very powerful people? People are going to have to think this through.
Starting point is 00:09:53 It's splitting things open. So let's take a look at, this is France 24. President Trump accuses Zelensky of treating U.S. envoy rudely. Now, he's not talking about General Kellogg. He's talking about the Secretary of Treasury Besant. Yes.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Yeah. Secretary of Treasury Besant went to Ukraine last week, presented the proposal. Is it Besant or Besant? I'm not sure. I got to get it right. I want to say his name correctly. But he did go there, presented the proposal to Vladimir Zelensky. Was treated very rudely.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Yes. And Donald Trump's not happy about that. He had some things to say. I think this is the one where he's on Air Force One? Yes. All right, let's watch. in for $100 billion, they're wearing for $350 billion. There's no reason that should have happened. It's Biden's fault. He shouldn't have allowed that to happen. But on top of it all, they're getting their $100 billion back, and we're not. And I've been talking about this for two years. I said, you have to loan them the money so that if things work out, they're going to pay you back. And they didn't do
Starting point is 00:11:25 that so biden didn't do it it's his fault nobody's ever seen anything so stupid so europe gets their money back and they're only in for a small fraction and obviously everything's important but it's more important for them because they're right next to russia so it's more important that we have an ocean in between us so it it's obviously more important to the European countries than it is to the U.S. But here's the thing. We don't get our money back. And we told them that the deal is we'll do something for the rare earth and some oil, et cetera, et cetera. And that'll be all right.
Starting point is 00:11:58 And they agreed to it more or less. And then Scott Bessett actually went there and was treated rather rudely because essentially they told him no, and Zelensky was sleeping and unavailable to meet him. He traveled many hours on the train, which is a dangerous trip. And we're talking about the Secretary of the Treasury. He went there to get a document signed. And when he got there, he came back empty. They wouldn't sign the document. But for Europe, they pay back their money. It's a loan. Think of that.
Starting point is 00:12:31 And we should have a loan too. But we had an administration who was incompetent. Can you resurrect that deal? Is there anything that you can do? I think I'm going to resurrect it. We'll see what happens. But I'm going to resurrect it or things are not going to make him too happy and look it's time for elections haven't had an election in a long time
Starting point is 00:12:52 it's wonderful to say you know we can't have an election but it's time for elections and it's also time to find out what happened with all the money so u.s secretary of treasury scott beset traveled to ukraine went to the presidential palace or whatever they call the the official residence and the butler said sorry president zielinski is in bed he didn't have time to get up and talk to you. This is the Treasury Secretary. The one, you know, that signs the checks? Right. It's not like it was a surprise visit or anything like that. It was a planned meeting.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Doc, Zelensky is really low class. We've known that the whole time. He's a real low class, literally clown. He is a professional clown. They took a clown, a guy that dances in pink suits, a man who pretends to play pianos with his organ, not his piano.
Starting point is 00:14:05 This is what they took and put in the presidency. And they said, okay, you're going to be the president. What do you think you're going to get now? But that was the deep state. Those were the guys. They're used to using people like that. They had a different plan for them. Biden was the same way. He was convenient. They had a different plan for him. They had a different. Biden was the same way. Right. He was convenient.
Starting point is 00:14:28 They put Biden in. Okay. Nobody believes Biden was the president for four years. Biden doesn't believe he was the president. I mean, who was the president? I think a committee. A committee that reported to Barack Obama Obama who then reported to another committee well anyhow uh the game's over by the way we have a new FBI director cash Patel that's right he was
Starting point is 00:14:57 uh confirmed by the Senate about an hour ago cash has got a gun that's all i can say cash patel's got a gun and a badge that's right and there must be a lot of diarrhea in washington dc this afternoon i can't imagine how many people are afraid things just change radically you think things have been wild for four weeks? You just keep saying tonight cash has got a gun and a badge. Okay? He can lead raids now. That's right. He can lead a raid of
Starting point is 00:15:38 agents and seize documents and records. Newsweek. Trump issues Zelensky an ultimatum over rare earth deal snub. I was just talking about sending Secretary Besset home. President Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum
Starting point is 00:16:00 to Ukrainian President Zelensky insisting on the revival of a rare earth minerals agreement. This demand follows Ukraine's rejection of the U.S. proposal seeking 50 percent of its rare earth mineral rights in exchange for continued American military aid. The situation has intensified tensions between the two nations. Key points. U.S. demand for resources. Trump administration proposed that Ukraine cede 50% of its rare earth mineral rights. Ukraine's rejection.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Zelensky citing concerns over the lack of specific security guarantees. Mr. Trump labeled Zelensky a dictator without elections. So where is this going, Doc? I think it's going to a place that we're just going to write Zelensky off here. I think you're going to write Ukraine off. Yes. I think they're going to become country 404 right not found page not found it's this is what uh the russians said two years ago country 404
Starting point is 00:17:15 zielinski is angering donald trump he's provoking him. He's insulting him. He's defying him. He's defying the president of the United States. And I guess Zelensky is under some sort of delusion that Europe is going to come to his defense. It's going to start sending money now when they haven't for three years. I think Kash Patel is going to open up an FBI investigation into missing billions.
Starting point is 00:17:47 There's going to be an arrest warrant for Zelensky and U.S. commandos are going to go into Kiev and arrest him. Yes. That's my prediction. if that doesn't happen, then I think they're just going to completely, they're going to act like Zelensky and Ukraine don't even exist. And the United States and Russia are going to divide up the country. They're going to make a deal between themselves. The wars between Russia and the United States. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:22 It's not between Russia and Ukraine. Never has been. And so those two men are going to sit down and they're going to make a deal for the benefit of their two countries. Yes. And they're going to serve Ukraine as the official meal of the meeting.
Starting point is 00:18:40 Right. It's going to be on a platter. They're going to carve it up. Mr. Trump wants the minerals, but the minerals are in the area of Ukraine that Russia controls. This is like a game of risk. Yes. Okay, who's going to make the next move? It's going to be fascinating to watch how this actually
Starting point is 00:19:04 all shakes out here over the next – and it's happening so fast. That's what gets me. It's not this long, drawn-out process. Well, let's send some more weapons to Ukraine. Let's send 100 million. Let's send 200. That's over. All that nonsense that we went through for three years, that's done.
Starting point is 00:19:22 You don't even hear the EUraine the eu and nato talking about it now right because where's nato going to get the money the money and weapons were coming from the united states right we were we were just shipping them to nato and then nato was offloading their old stuff to ukraine three years worth of that folks look at this headline in wall street journal trump's attack on zielinski signals new world order taking shape but right again doc this is a new world order and donald trump is writing it he's designing it and the biggest the biggest shock may be that he teams up with Vladimir Putin. And the two of them create a new world order. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:12 And it rules the world for the next 50 to 100 years. I mean, the last new world order came into existence in 1945. So if you mark 2025 as the official end of it, okay? 80 years. You got 80 years. Sound familiar? Yes. A seculum. Yes. A four-turning seculum. 80 years. 80 years. To the year. Isn't that amazing?
Starting point is 00:20:48 Solomon was right. So there's a new world order rising. President Trump has dramatically shifted the direction of U.S. foreign policy in just four short weeks, making the U.S. And this is Wall Street Journal saying this, okay, making the U.S. a less reliable ally and retreating from global commitments in ways that stand to fundamentally reshape America's relationship with the rest of the world. So his top envoys have floated concessions to Russia in peace talks that have stunned the Europeans, followed by, of course, President Trump calling the Ukraine leader a dictator. And he has kept Europeans at arm's length in the whole process here of resolving the conflict he dismantled us aid which is was shipping millions of dollars not
Starting point is 00:21:35 just to developing countries but to media outlets and to aid organizations in ukraine that was another back channel funding of Ukraine. So no one expected that. This is what shocked the world. No one really expected Donald Trump to handle global affairs like his predecessors. They knew there was going to be some change, but it shocked them how much change and how fast he hit him so hard. And the brilliant move was taking down USAID they obviously had knowledge that USAID was the main artery that was feeding all these limbs of the octopus right and they had to sever it I mean there are so many organizations
Starting point is 00:22:26 and people out there right now who don't have money coming to them. What was it? Something like nearly 8,000 news reporters? Yes. They were getting money from the U.S.? All over the world. U.S. aid agency? Here, Doc, we're coming in here
Starting point is 00:22:46 every day, working like crazy. And these turkeys are getting government money sent to them to lie. Yeah. We're working trying to tell the truth. And they were getting paid to lie. It's good work if you can find it.
Starting point is 00:23:01 Well, someone that's upset with the way Donald Trump is doing things is the cfr the council on foreign relations richard haas who is the president emeritus had this to say this is 8b for control it will be very difficult to undo what is being done in foreign policy or to persuade allies this was a never to be repeated one-repeated one-off. This was possible after Donald Trump's election, but not his re-election, said Richard Haass, president emeritus of the CFR and former senior official in Republican administrations. America's reputation – now this is his opinion, of course – America's reputation for reliability and predictability has been seriously compromised. Do you know who Richard Haass is? Mr. Haass is like the godfather
Starting point is 00:23:47 of globalism. I don't know if there's anybody higher than him at the CFR. I mean, he is truly the senior representative of globalism in the American political establishment. So he's in. I didn't even know he was still around. So he's in a state of shock at what's taking place.
Starting point is 00:24:19 And then Chuck Hagel. Yes, I did. Chuck Hagel was a Republican senator. He ran for I think he ran for President Briefly And then he was a Defense Secretary For Obama And he said what's happening is a serious
Starting point is 00:24:35 Challenge to the foundation Of the post-World War II world order Senator It collapsed It's not a challenge Your post-World War II World order died It collapsed. It's not a challenge. Your post-World War II world order died. It's over.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Get over it. It's done. It's over. He said, I never felt so concerned about the future of this country and this world as I am now. But we're not. We're delighted. But one that remains in a delusion here is John Bolton. Not all of Trump's critics say the president is irrevocably changing U.S. foreign policy. John Bolton, President Trump's former national security advisor, who turned against his former boss,
Starting point is 00:25:16 said the president doesn't have a coherent enough ideology to dismantle the global order. This is one man's view, but unfortunately, he's the president, Bolton said. His advice to allies, just grit your teeth. Mr. Bolton, I think the mustache wax has gone to your brain. He doesn't get it either. No, this has changed the world. There's no going back from this. How do you go back?
Starting point is 00:25:43 How do you go back to a Biden or a Biden clone or even an Obama? How do you go back to that? You can't. You think the American people are going to let you restart USAID? Absolutely not. You think we're going to let you keep sending trillions of dollars, $4 trillion, untraceable funds every year? Right. That's over.
Starting point is 00:26:05 We're just getting started. There's a lot more to discover. Yes. And now we have an FBI director with a gun and a badge. Yes, and we have a defense secretary that could launch military tribunals. I mean, everything's on the table now.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Yes. Everything is on the table. This has changed the world. Absolutely changed the world. I predict, Rick, that you'll see Vladimir Zelensky on trial. Oh, I do too. This is the next. They already have the evidence.
Starting point is 00:26:43 They're just going to use it on him now. Yes. And they could have said, play along, and you'll be able to retire in South Florida. And how much money do you need to steal from the government to be indicted? Well, apparently you can get a lot. But technically, how much can you steal? All right. I mean, billions and billions of dollars, you know, hundreds of billions of dollars have flowed through.
Starting point is 00:27:14 If Zelensky only stole a million. Yes, they got him. They got him. How about a half million? They got him. Okay. How about 100,000? They got him. How about 100,000? They got him.
Starting point is 00:27:26 All it's going to take is evidence that he pocketed money. President Zelensky has already admitted half the money that was sent to Ukraine is missing. And when he said that, Doc, I actually defended him.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I said, that rascal's telling the truth. What he was saying, and this is what I believe he was saying, was, hey, come on. We didn't get all that money. We've been stealing from the half that we got. But we don't know where the other half is at. We're thieves, but not those kind of thieves.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Somebody got all the other half. Okay, so that's another investigation. Right. And Donald Trump already knows that. He doesn't think Zelensky stole that 50%. He thinks Zelensky was stealing from the 50% that got through. The big ones, the big fish to catch are going to be the ones who were stealing from the other 50%. Right. And a lot of them did not get preemptive
Starting point is 00:28:32 pardons. Right. And then there's the question of all the military equipment that was sent to Ukraine that's popping up all over the world. So how does a Mexican cartel get U.S. military equipment? It's not getting it from the U.S. So these are things and investigations are going to be popping up over the next few months and few years. And so you have an aggressive FBI director who's going after corruption. That's right. Doc, it's just starting.
Starting point is 00:29:01 There are some people in Washington that aren't quite on board with this criticism of Vladimir Zelensky by President Trump. We have this from the Wall Street Journal. Look at the title there. Trump's anti-Zelensky comments caught GOP off guard. And you can, I think Zelensky has spoken to Congress twice, if I recall, and each time it was a love fest on – Remember when they handed out the flags? And then they had to take the video down because people were so upset about people in Congress waving Ukrainian flags. Who are you supporting, the U.S. or Ukraine? But GOP senators, the Journal is saying, were caught off guard, blindsided by President Trump lashing out at what they call an ally. The U.S. is back during three years of war.
Starting point is 00:29:57 Several initially didn't believe Donald Trump's words had been reported accurately or pleaded ignorance of the president's comments. Others did offer some harsh criticism of President Putin of Russia and held out hope that Trump might be engaged in an unorthodox negotiating strategy. Traditional defense hawks didn't want to talk about President Trump's comments at all several march pass reporters wednesday morning with their cell phones held tight to their ears including senator roger wicker mississippi chairman of the senate armed services committee todd young senator johnny erst and others ignored reporters questions those that did have a response so we've shared so you can see that there's a large block of uh senators in dc that uh boy they didn't like donald trump saying those things about with this war from the beginning right and they knew what the purpose of the war was the purpose of the war was to crush
Starting point is 00:31:00 russia they knew that we were in a war with russia Mitch McConnell basically said no comment. He did today announce he's not running for re-election in 2026. Wow. Finally. He won't be around. Senator Mike Rounds of South Dakota was one of a handful of Republicans to speak up strongly for Zelensky on Wednesday. He said he is the duly elected president of Ukraine, Round said. I've met President Zelensky on a number of occasions, and I think he has been a key component in the fact that we've been able to withstand the Russian attacks. Tom Tillis of North Carolina, Republican, had just returned from a bipartisan trip to
Starting point is 00:31:43 Ukraine where he had toured the site of a mass grave. Senator Tillis said Putin is a murderous dictator who had started the war. I believe any resolution in Ukraine that makes him feel like he won or just pushed to a tie is a bad idea, he said. John Kennedy, Senator Kennedy of Louisiana, said that he disagreed with President Trump's comments about Zelensky and expressed disgust for Putin. The Russian president, he said, has got Stalin's taste for blood and I hate to have to even breathe the same air that he does. I like John Kennedy just about anything he ever says, but that one I'm disappointed in him. Senator Majority Leader John Toon, also from South Dakota, South Dakota you've got some work to do, said the
Starting point is 00:32:35 President can speak for himself, adding there was no question that Russia started the war. What I want to see is a peaceful result, a peaceful outcome, and I think right now there's a negotiation going on. Hopefully, it'll get to the outcome we all want to see. Senator Kevin Cramer of North Dakota suggests that President Trump's harsh remarks about Zelensky might be part of his negotiating strategy. Well, I think he's factually wrong on those points, although I also don't know the motive behind it, Kramer said. As a negotiator, he's always positioning. I think this is beyond negotiation for Donald Trump now.
Starting point is 00:33:15 It's personal. Slovakia's Prime Minister, Robert Fico, he went ballistic on Zelensky. You've got European leaders who are now saying, you know what, it's safe just to say what I believe. I think you're going to see more of them say it now.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Let's watch. I'm not here to walk hand in hand with President Zelensky. I admit that sometimes I'm fed up with him. He walks around Europe just begging and extorting, asking others for money. This simply has to end. Try to think about this country a little bit, not just for your own narrow, simple political purposes. What, for God's sake, will we do when the gas is gone? Do you think the Germans will send us gas when they run out?
Starting point is 00:34:09 They won't send us anything. Europeans are starting to wake up. We're in this mess because of Zelensky. So, there are people that want Zelensky gone. Mr. Medvedev in Russia, he said he's afraid that Zelensky may use a dirty bomb. And don't rule this out, Doc. The Nazis in Ukraine are desperate. Yes.
Starting point is 00:34:39 I don't know how Mr. Trump is going to deal with the Nazis that are in control of the Ukrainian military. And that had to come up in discussions. Of course it did. In Riyadh. That had to. Where Lavrov is saying, no, Secretary Rubio, let's talk about Nazis. Right. Because the Nazis in Ukraine are like Hamas in Gaza.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Yes. What are you going gonna do with them you can't reason with them they're ideologues and they're willing to kill for their ideology so that's going to be a major problem but um dimitri mevedov um had some obviously colorful words. He called him a rat, a rodent, and some other things. It says Zelensky could resort to using a dirty bomb, blaming Russia in a desperate attempt to media mevedov lashed out at zielinski calling him a puppet dressed up as the president of a disintegrating country he said the rat has been driven into a corner its behavior is now totally unpredictable making him dangerous to the global community he says zielinski could create any provocation to upend a settlement and prolong the war to the global community. He says Zelensky could create any provocation to upend
Starting point is 00:36:06 a settlement and prolong the war to the last Ukrainian. That's right. He said he will use any means within his reach including attacking his own cities and civilian population and using weapons of mass destruction such as a dirty bomb.
Starting point is 00:36:22 Medvedev went on to say immediate rat extermination will solve the problem. Was that a proposal for assassination? Well, he is basically, you know, the chairman of their war council. Did he just say we're going to assassinate Zelensky? He's saying that if something were to happen with Zelensky, it would solve a lot of problems. No, he said immediate rat extermination. Before the rat is able to do
Starting point is 00:36:56 something. That's what he's proposing. But he makes a good point here, Rick. They are desperate now in Ukraine. They've got to get the world and especially the U.S. back on their side. What will they do? They can't get the U.S. back on. They'd have to get rid of Donald Trump. There'd have to be an overthrow of Donald Trump in America.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Now, is the deep state establishment in this country, are they still willing to overthrow Donald Trump? Do they know what's going to happen in this country if they do it? That's what holds them back. That's right. The fear of what would happen. Because, see, now the public knows how corrupt they are. All the conspiracy theories have come true. Yes, it's conspiracy truth now.
Starting point is 00:37:52 It's all truth. There was a secret cabal. There is a secret cabal running this country, stealing from the American people, financing revolutions around the world. Turned out to be true london times military chiefs proposed 30 000 strong ukrainian ukraine peacekeeping force british troops will deploy to key cities ports and critical national infrastructure
Starting point is 00:38:21 across ukraine oh yeah right That's not going to happen. Just keep talking about it. Under plans being discussed by allies, European military chiefs are considering a reassurance force for Kiev, which would include fewer than 30,000 British and European troops positioned away from the front line in the east. Well, hey, if all 30,000 of the troops were British, it would take half of their military. That's right. They only have 70,000 men in uniform. That's right.
Starting point is 00:38:54 This is so ridiculous. It is understood that an air policing mission, which could involve typhoons, could be deployed to protect Ukraine's airspace and enable commercial flights to the capital. One Western official said that the proposals also include technical monitoring of the border, including spy planes, satellites and drones to provide a complete picture of what's going on. Doc, this is these guys, these world European leaders, this is like boys dressing up in their dad's military uniforms pretending they're at war. And they know they're not going to do any of this stuff.
Starting point is 00:39:35 In reality, they're not going to do any of it. Right. And we could field from Fort Bragg alone three times that number of troops if we wanted to. That's how minimal this is. They're under some strong delusion. But Secretary Lavrov has made it very clear. He's not under any delusion.
Starting point is 00:39:56 No, he said the appearance of troops from NATO countries under a foreign flag, the flag of the European Union, or their national flag is unacceptable. So this is casting doubts on whether the Europeans can actually muster a force to challenge Russia and to maintain a presence in Ukraine. It's not going to happen. No. If it happens, they're going to get wiped out. Yes. There's just no way.
Starting point is 00:40:23 Besides, Donald Trump doesn't want 30,000 European troops there. He wants to mine. Yes. They're just going to get in the way of the mining operation. The less time you have to dig holes in the ground. This next story, I can't verify it, but it was published by the Times of India, which makes me think it's true. Times of India is a reputable newspaper in India. And they put this out.
Starting point is 00:40:54 It's a video news report. Zelensky bans Trump's truth social in Ukraine over dictator and comedian attacks. Again, we can't verify it. There are no news reports except this report from the Times of India. Let's play it. All right. So you see this video that the Times of India is providing, the escalation between Zelensky and Donald Trump is going on. So now it's being reported that after Donald Trump questions,
Starting point is 00:41:30 where's the $500 billion in Ukraine that Ukraine needs to pony up for continued U.S. involvement, Ukraine took a big action against the U.S. president. What was that action? Well, according to sources here, and Times of India is reporting this, that Ukraine blocked access to truth social in the country. So this would be a direct affront to Donald Trump. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly blocked truth social in Ukraine. And once we're, you know, we haven't confirmed this information yet, President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly blocked Truth Social in Ukraine.
Starting point is 00:42:08 And once we're, you know, we haven't confirmed this information yet, but the social media site owned by U.S. President was blocked amid growing tensions, according to various reports. And so the tensions are increasing between the two. If he did that, that's extremely stupid. Right. Extremely stupid. Congressman Tim Bursette of Tennessee has introduced a bill
Starting point is 00:42:34 to authorize President Trump to issue letters of marquee and reprisals against cartels. Doc, is this a big deal? Oh, this is a very big deal because... This is against the drug cartels. Doc, is this a big deal? Oh, this is a very big deal. This is against the drug cartels in Mexico. Right. And this is a very
Starting point is 00:42:49 big deal because basically we are the letters of Mark and reprisals were used back in the late 1700s, early 1800s, to defend us against pirates. You had different ships that were capturing U.S. citizens and making them sailors and
Starting point is 00:43:14 involved in different ships and everything. And so the government issued letters of mark and reprisals, basically allowing private security forces to go and retrieve captured sailors and to retrieve captured money, too, that had been stolen. Yeah, that's right. And then— So they were government-backed pirates is what they were. Against pirates. Against pirates, yes. Privateers, they were called.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Mm-hmm. So. Against the pirate tears, okay? So we're going to monetize killing Mexican cartel leaders. Yes. Isn't that what it is? That's exactly what it is. They're going to monetize it.
Starting point is 00:44:01 They're going to put a price on their head, and the U.S. government is going to pay so much. And if you get any money, if you capture any money, you get to their head and the U.S. government is going to pay so much. And if you get any money, if you capture any money, you get to split it with the U.S. government. Right. Mr. Trump is running everything like he's turning the U.S. government into a business. That's all that's happening here. If you see it this way, it's easy to understand. Right. Mexico, the president of mexico claudia scheinbaum she is going to she's proposing constitutional amendments in mexico to prevent president trump from doing what he's planning to do. Now, I don't know how that works because he's just going to send the men into Mexico whether it's in their constitution or not.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Yes. It's going to happen. It's going to happen. What are you going to do about it? But what she's really doing is saying she is protecting the drug cartels. Right. That's the message that's being sent, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:45:06 It is. That's the way I see it. You know, she said the Mexican people will not accept under any circumstances, interventions, interferences, or any other act from abroad that could be harmful to the integrity, the independence, and sovereignty of our nation. Well, your country hasn't done anything in decades to stop not only the illegal immigration, but the massive flow of drugs coming across the border. What she ought to be saying is, I'm here and the Mexican military is here and the Mexican police force is here and we are going to eradicate the drug cartels. But there's no Mexican politician with the backbone to do it. Right.
Starting point is 00:45:52 Because you'll end up in a concrete slab at the bottom of a river. I mean, the cartels run Mexico. So, Doc, are we going to see U.S. troops in Mexico? Yes. I have no doubt about that. We already have drones flying over Mexico. That's confirmed reports. They're not armed, but they are spotting cartel operations all over Mexico. We are using Reaper drones right now to find out where these cartels,
Starting point is 00:46:29 where they're at, where they're assessing their capabilities. Yeah, we're getting ready for, and we've done it before in Mexico. Have you seen the dramatic decline in the number of illegal immigrants coming across the border? Yes. There's hardly anything moving now. Maybe a couple hundred a day across the entire border, whereas in the past we could have as high as 10,000 a day. It's dramatically changed, and that flow is going the other direction now too. A lot of people are self-deporting, going back to Mexico. But as it relates to the cartels in Mexico, Senator Kennedy of Louisiana had this to say,
Starting point is 00:47:16 not only about the current president, but the previous president, Obrador, in Mexico, that basically they're aligning themselves with the cartels. These comments are a couple of weeks old. But this is Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana pointing out how the current president, Claudia Schaumbach, and the previous president, Lopez Obradorador were protecting the drug cartels. Let's watch. The President of Mexico until 2024 was President Lopez Obrador. Is that right?
Starting point is 00:47:59 And he ran for President with respect to the cartels on the slogan, hugs, not bullets. Is that right? Well, no, he did not run on his campaign without a slogan. Yes, he did. Now, his hand-picked successor is President Steinbaum, is that correct? Steinbaum. Is that correct?
Starting point is 00:48:31 Gloria Steinbaum. Right. Am I right? Yes. Okay. I love the people of Mexico, and the people of Mexico are good friends. But isn't a big part of the problem that President Lopez Obrador and now President Scheinbaum, thank you for correcting me, by the way, live in the right front pocket of the Mexican drug cartels?
Starting point is 00:49:05 I disagree with that statement. I thought you might. You just saw the master fisherman there just reeling it in. Senator Kennedy went to Oxford. He is an extremely educated man. He plays that country boy role so well. Don't be fooled by him. He's an extremely intelligent man. And funny. Very funny.
Starting point is 00:49:40 New York Times. President Trump orders into federal benefits for undocumented migrants. I figured that already happened, but he just did it. President Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order eliminating federal benefits for undocumented migrants in the United States, describing the benefits as an improper use of taxpayer resources. The money just dried up. That's right. Done.
Starting point is 00:50:09 Done. If you're an illegal immigrant here and you've been sponging off the American taxpayers, it dried up yesterday. That's right. And we're talking everything from housing benefits that was funneled through HUD and FEMA. Medical care, everything. Child care. Down to HUD and FEMA. Medical care, everything. Child care. Down to WIC cards.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Child care, everything. It just dried up. It's over. Why were they receiving it anyway? Well, to drain the lifeblood out of the American middle class. I mean, even if you hate Donald Trump, you've got to be in favor of this. You've got to. But no, there are people...
Starting point is 00:50:48 No, the American people are... No, Doc. Overwhelmingly, the American people are for it. And the Democrats in the deep state know it and they're scared to death. They don't know what to do. They just don't know what to do. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:02 CNBC, Trump weighing possibility of giving 20 of doge savings to americans uh so that equates to a five thousand dollar rebate a corruption rebate yeah that's exactly what you can call it so they're going to take $2 trillion that they have discovered and cut off and divide that $2 trillion up from all Americans. Every American would get a $5,000 check from the U.S. government. Right. And that would only represent 20% of the savings. Yes. Not a bad idea. Donald Trump actually spoke to this last night
Starting point is 00:51:48 at the Financial Investment Priority Summit in Miami last night. And he said, out loud, hey, we're thinking about giving 20% back to the American people. Alright, let's watch. They're curbing inflation and saving taxpayers billions 20% back to the American people. All right, let's watch. They're curbing inflation and saving taxpayers billions and billions of dollars every single day. And there's even under consideration a new concept where we give 20% of the Doge savings to American citizens and 20% goes to paying down debt because the numbers are incredible, Elon. So many billions of dollars,
Starting point is 00:52:25 billions, hundreds of billions. And we're thinking about giving 20 percent back to the American citizens and 20 percent down to pay back debt and pay down debt, which is if you look at value, if it were a real estate balance sheet, the debt is tiny, but we still we still want to pay it down. Doesn't matter. We don't look at it as a piece of real estate. It's America. we still want to pay it down. It doesn't matter. We don't look at it as a piece of real estate. It's America. We're going to get it down through intelligence, hard work, and as Elon said, a word called caring.
Starting point is 00:52:54 You have to care. By doing this, Americans will tell us where there is waste. They'll be reporting it themselves. They participate in the process of saving money. So many of the men and women in this room, as an example, they pay tremendous amounts of taxes. And here are just a few examples of where your money was going before I came along. These are just some of the just taken at random. Oh, there are much worse examples than this. I was just looking at them before the speech, and I can tell you they were much worse.
Starting point is 00:53:26 And there are some that are horrible, but I don't want to really say them because they're very, very embarrassing to people. Very, very embarrassing. And they're really something, but you'll be seeing it and you'll be reading about it. But just some taken at random, $2 million for sex change operations in Guatemala, $20
Starting point is 00:53:49 million for Sesame Street performances in Iraq. $20 million, that's a lot of money. You know, I know what it costs to do those things. You get a cast over for $50,000, give them a couple of bucks tip, and that's it. Not $20 million. Not 20 million. 20 million. That's gone with the wind on steroids. 101 million dollars for 29 diversity, equity and inclusion contracts at the Department of Education. Wow. And we've also canceled. We've canceled all of these, saved all of this money. And again, this is just a small sample.
Starting point is 00:54:28 This could go on, I could read them all day. $520 million for a consultant. I want to know who is that consultant. Let me ask you this, Rick. Would you rather receive a $5,000 check from Donald Trump or eliminate the IRS? Eliminate the IRS. And that's the real question. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:50 Get rid of the income tax. Yes. Take us back to where we were at as a nation before 1913. Right. Somehow we had roads and schools and all those things before 1913, right? And we produced great leaders who went to one-room schoolhouses. Right. We had the Industrial Revolution that occurred before 1913.
Starting point is 00:55:12 So it's possible, folks. ABC News reporting Secretary Hegseth could soon fire or remove generals and senior officers at the Pentagon. ABC said a list has been circulated on Capitol Hill that contains generals and senior officers who could be fired or removed. They're also talking about reducing the Pentagon budget by 8%. CBS News reporting 6,000 IRS agents to be fired by the end of this week. Oh, Doc, get me some fresh. I think I'm going to pass out. This is too good to be true. What was the Democrats, Biden doing last year?
Starting point is 00:55:59 They hired 88,000 IRS agents to come after us. With guns. With guns. With guns. I thought it was radical when they said, hey, let's put them under DHS. They've got guns. They're going to go to the border. You want to make a run for the border? All right.
Starting point is 00:56:17 So this is 6,000 IRS agents. Over half, though, and this is significant, Rick, over half of them are from one department, the SBSC. What is that? That's the Small Business and Self-Employed Division. So if you have, let's say, a home business, you sell honey, okay? And so you're self-employed for that. You have to generate a 1099, do all that. All those years that the IRS bugged you to death about your 1099 and your quarterly reports and everything like that, the president is gutting that department down to the bone.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Praise God. Praise God. CNBC, Trump says his administration will check Fort Knox to make sure the gold is there. Man, I feel like I just woke up in the 90s. 1890s or 1990s? 1990s, because I remember talking about that back in 95 and 96. Do we even know there's gold in fort knox do we even know it's there well ron paul talked about this for decades and people treated him the media oh he's he's a tinfoil hat guy yes he thinks the gold might not be at fort knox well let us in yeah but doc honestly i'll just there's a couple things. The gold in Fort Knox and the JFK files, we're never going to be told the truth.
Starting point is 00:57:53 I don't care what they release. I don't care. I don't care what they release. You're not going to be told the truth. Yeah. Okay? Do you think if they went to Donald Trump and said, Mr. President, there is no gold in Fort Knox,
Starting point is 00:58:08 do you think he's going to release that? Of course not. What's going to happen to the economy? I mean, boom. The economy collapses worldwide. And then I had a thought the other day. What if there's more gold in Fort Knox than there's supposed to be? I had that thought, too.
Starting point is 00:58:24 Because, remember, every time we go and blow up a country, what's the first thing we do? We go rob the banks. Well, I don't think the U.S. Treasury gets it. I think Wall Street banks get it. I think very wealthy families get that gold. I don't think the Treasury gets it. But, yeah, that's a possibility, that they don't want the world to know how much gold we have, unless it's time to tell the world, because you're going to bring out a new currency.
Starting point is 00:58:54 Right. And it's always been a mystery to me why they've fixed the price of gold at $42 an ounce that's sitting in Fort Knox, when gold right now is trading around $3,000, why set the price of gold at just $42 an ounce? It's sitting there. It's real. Supposedly, it's real gold, right? This is the rumor that's going on in Washington that the Trump administration is going to revalue that gold to its current price of about $3,000, which would mean the U.S. government would have gazillions of dollars worth of assets.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Yes. It would increase the balance on the books by almost a trillion dollars. Doc, I don't rule out what you said, that there may be more gold and that this is the time that they're going to release it. Say, hey, we did the audit. We got some good news. There's more gold here than we thought there was. In fact, there's 10 times more than we thought there was. Here's President Trump talking about auditing the gold of Fort Knox.
Starting point is 00:59:58 We're going to go into Fort Knox to make sure the gold is there. You know that we're going to go into Fort Knox. Do you know about that? One of the things we do want to look at, I mean, we hope everything's fine with Fort Knox, that we're going to go into Fort Knox. Do you know about that? But one of the things, we do want to look. I mean, we hope everything's fine with Fort Knox, but we're going to go to Fort Knox, the fabled Fort Knox, to make sure the gold is there.
Starting point is 01:00:13 Where would the gold have gone? If the gold isn't there, we're going to be very upset. And I bet Cash Patel goes along. And Pete Hexeth. Because if gold's missing, that's a military issue there that's right it's a fort that's right fort knox uh while we're on the topic of gold yahoo finance swiss january gold exports to the united states reaches highest level in 13 years. Doc, the gold is flowing out of Switzerland.
Starting point is 01:00:50 It is moving to the United States. Yes. And this is in addition to all the money that's, all the gold's been transferred out of the UK over the past several weeks too. So now the Swiss are seeing this trend as well. It says, according to Swiss data, gold exports from the country to the United States rose to 192.9 tons in January, up from 64.2 tons in December.
Starting point is 01:01:21 This was the highest monthly amount of exports in the customs data going back to 2012 rick and then bloomberg news says gold market uh is the gold is pouring out of singapore right so singapore is the second biggest i would say, it could be third to Hong Kong. Hong Kong's lost a lot of its position as a safe haven for gold. Singapore really became aggressive. They wanted to become the Asian Switzerland. Now, not quite as much as Switzerland, but still, the fact that there's an outflow of gold from Singapore, like 11 tons in one month. But it's going to the United States. That's right.
Starting point is 01:02:10 So you have a lot of people who have stored their gold overseas because they feared a crash of the U.S. economy. Right. And it was a safe haven we're going to put gold in various countries and if the u.s economy crashes they have gold scattered around the world right for some reason people with a lot of gold are saying i'm betting i'm bringing it's the safest place to be right now is america right and the safest thing to have is gold. Doc, I think Donald Trump is, and I hate saying this to our friends in Switzerland. We have a lot of true news
Starting point is 01:02:56 fans in Switzerland. And we have in Singapore also. Yes. But a lot in Switzerland. Doc and I have been in Switzerland and people have walked up to us on the streets of Zurich and said, I watch True News. But I'm going to tell you what our president is doing. He's going to drain the gold out of Switzerland. He won't even have to drain it. They're just moving out of Switzerland. Imagine Switzerland. That's the one place you can say, my gold is safe in Switzerland.
Starting point is 01:03:28 He is going to start saying America is the safest place to have gold. They're going to go beyond this right now. This is just people saying, hey, I want to get my gold out before there are tariffs. But he's going to go beyond this. He's going to make. He's going to make America the global tax haven.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Doc, we're going to become the biggest tax haven in the world. He's going to abolish the IRS. He's going to get rid of the income tax. When he says we're entering a golden age golden all right do you understand he said we're going into a golden age yes well you know what you need to have a golden age gold gold he's going to make america the global tax haven for the whole universe. They're going to change the laws.
Starting point is 01:04:28 They're going to have privacy, protection, everything that Switzerland offers, everything that Singapore offers. You know, he wants America to develop the reputation. The safest place you can place your gold is america doc this is amazing what's happening it is absolutely
Starting point is 01:04:54 amazing this country is being transformed so what does that mean for you and me, though, Rick? Call that number right there. 844-960-GOLD.
Starting point is 01:05:11 That's Gold Co. Folks, this is the age of gold. This is the age of gold. That's me saying it, not Gold Co. This is the age of gold. I believe Donald Trump is turning America into the gold center of the world switzerland's got so much gold they've got it buried in mountains everywhere it's coming here you're going to hear president trump talking about building vaults
Starting point is 01:05:47 you can have congress passing laws to protect gold to protect the privacy of gold holdings. Right. Okay? To guarantee that there's no taxation on the gold. That's my prediction. I'm not speaking for Gold Co. This is what I think. This is what I think is coming.
Starting point is 01:06:01 We're going to become... He said it's a gold... I didn't think about this when he said it's going to be a golden age. Yeah. You're right. we're going to become, he said, I didn't think about this when he said it's going to be a golden age. Yeah, you're right. He is going to make us the global tax haven. He's going to drain the whole world, Doc. Bring your factories here. Bring your money here.

And your gold and your gold we're getting rid of the illegals who came here to suck the life out of the country we're chasing them out and we're welcoming in the people who have gold so you want to be somebody who has gold and And I think he's going to, I personally think he's going to restore the gold standard to the U.S. dollar. I think so, too. And I think this, what you said a few minutes ago, what if they have more gold in Fort Knox? Doc, you may have hit this thing right on the head.
Starting point is 01:06:59 Excuse me. That this, that's, that's the big disclosure moment that's coming. We did the audit. There's 10 times more gold than we thought. We can now return the U.S. dollar to the gold standard. Right. And bring your gold to America. This is the golden age.

Global Times in China. Shanghai rolls out the country's first humanoid robot training ground. So this is a, we're going to show you, here it is. This is a training center. The Chinese are going all in for robots, which means Donald Trump is going to go all in for robots. Because who's his advisor?
Starting point is 01:08:55 Elon Musk. And what does he build? He builds robots. He builds robots, doesn't he? So this is, as you see, they're training robots how to pick up items and so forth and everything. But anyhow, it will train 1,000 general purpose robots simultaneously. A classroom with 1,000 robots. Now, this next one, this is a tech crunch. The company is called Figure.
Starting point is 01:09:27 Yes. Figure's humanoid robot takes voice orders to help around the house. So the founder and CEO of Figure, Brett Adcock, today revealed a new machine learning model for human robots. And we've got a short video to show you the machines learning to work around in the kitchen. Yes. All right, let's watch. Hey, figures, can you come here? Okay, I'd like to try something new.
Starting point is 01:10:11 Even though this is the very first time that you've ever seen these items, I'd like you to use your new Helix AI and try to reason through where you think they belong in the scene, and then work together to put them away. Does that sound good? Nettopp I don't know if you caught the moment where the one robot handed off the item to go in the refrigerator. And looked at the other one. And looked at the other robot. And looked at the other robot. And the other robot looked back.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Yes. Almost like two humans interacting with each other. Yes. And never having had that problem in front of them before. Right. First time. By the way, we leave next Friday night, one week from tomorrow. We leave next Friday night for Barcelona.
Starting point is 01:11:49 We'll be in Spain for one week for the Mobile World Congress. There will be robots there. You know, I talked to one robot last year. Yes. Did a little impromptu interview with her as she was standing there. You'll see things. The future is there. That's what you're going to see.
Starting point is 01:12:14 You're going to see the future. So we'll be there for one week, leaving next Friday night. South China Morning Post. China's AI-driven robots are evolving at an incredibly fast pace. China's humanoid robot industry is poised for a breakthrough year as artificial intelligence accelerates the pace of change in the field, according to one of the country's most prominent tech leaders. Humanoid robots that resemble humans in shape are likely to be widely deployed in China's service and industrial sectors within the next year or two, according to Wang Zhejing, CEO of a startup company called Unitree Robots. It says the AI-driven robots are evolving at an incredibly fast pace, surpassing my expectations.
Starting point is 01:13:13 Every day brings new surprises, he said to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV. After attending a symposium with President Xi of China, I believe that by the end of the year, this is the end of this year, Rick, humanoid robots will reach a whole new level. They have to. They've got to get them ready for World War III. That's right. I've got two videos from Unitree, and we'll wrap it up at the end of these two videos. So here's the first one. So the robot is dancing, but at the same time, it's being interfered with, you know, with distraction, throwing balls at him, sticks at him, and everything, but still maintaining its rhythm in the dance in spite of the interference being brought by its environment.
Starting point is 01:14:00 Another one, this is also from Unitree, showing robots out in the wild, if you will. In a shopping mall. Yes. Carrying packages. Rick, I think this will be a common sight within two years. It will be i saw another video of a much taller humanoid robot walking walking on the sidewalk in china it was it was a test first time they had taken the unit out on the sidewalk right but it's walking next to its trainer right same size and not that many people reacting to it.
Starting point is 01:14:46 That was a strange thing. You get a human and a humanoid robot walking on a sidewalk and people were just going about their business. Going to be within two years, you're going to be stunned how many times you are interacting with robots, especially on the workforce and at the workplace. Yes. If you're in a factory. I saw a video today.
Starting point is 01:15:10 I had no idea how many robots Amazon already has. Had no idea. Now, they're not all humanoid, but they do have humanoids. Right. The ones that fascinate me are the ones that are the twin pallet ones. They work in conjunction with each other, and they'll drive underneath. I mean, they're just like two boxes. They'll drive underneath a pallet, lift up the pallet, and take it to some other place in the warehouse.
Starting point is 01:15:36 So it's a robot. But they also have humanoid robots. Yes. According to the video I watched, they said Amazon has hundreds of thousands. Well, just wait till the cars become robots. Because that's where we're heading here. And who builds cars? Elon Musk.
Starting point is 01:15:57 Do you remember last year, we showed a video, and we said, hey, we can't verify it was a young man who was an electrician? Right. And he said, hey, we can't verify it was a young man who was an electrician. Right. And he said, folks, listen to me. They are working us
Starting point is 01:16:13 day and night seven days a week. I have never worked this hard in my life. It's to get the robot factory done. Yes. And it was for Elon Musk. Yes. And it was for Elon Musk. Yes.
Starting point is 01:16:26 And that was sometime last year we showed that. And he says, I'm telling you, they're building robots. And they're rushing us. They're working us day and night to get this factory ready to build the robots. You know, maybe tomorrow we'll pull that video up and show it again. Because I think it will make more sense. Hey, one more. London Te telegraph pope francis could resign he's very ill and it's double pneumonia yes and uh they're now the vatican is officially saying he's he's in very poor health and he may resign all right that's it for us today. Thank you so much. We appreciate your prayers and your support.
Starting point is 01:17:06 For those of you who meet with us on Faith and Values, we will have our prayer meeting tonight at 8 p.m. 8 p.m. And tomorrow is Faith Friday for Morning Manna plus the Lord's Supper, Holy Communion. We invite you to participate. All right, take care. See you tomorrow.

We are continuing our study of the book of Romans. We're in the fifth chapter. And today we're going to complete the fifth chapter, verses 16 through 20. Let's pray. And then Dr. Burkhart will read the word. We will begin our study.
Starting point is 01:18:36 Father, almighty God, Father, we bring glory and thanksgiving and praise to you, Father. You deserve it. There is no other God in the universe. All others are inanimate idols. You are the only living God. And, Father, we proclaim your glory and your greatness. And, Father, we have gathered here today from many nations to be taught your word. We invite your Holy Spirit to give us insight,
Starting point is 01:19:13 revelation, knowledge, understanding of your word so that we may be greater and more effective disciples for your son, Jesus. In his name we pray. Amen. Amen. And good morning, everyone. Glad to have you here on a Thursday morning. A little cloudy, a little chilly here in Vero Beach, but I know some of you are dealing with very cold weather across the U.S. today and storms that still dealing with snow here at the end of February. And so I feel for you and pray that you are able to join us here. We're in Romans chapter 5. I'm going to read verses 16 through the end of the chapter here.
Starting point is 01:20:00 And if you've got your Bibles, join along with me. I'm reading from the King James this morning. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift. For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. For if by one man's offenses death reigned by one, much more they which received abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life whereas by
Starting point is 01:20:42 one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound, but where sin abounded much more abound. That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace
Starting point is 01:21:00 reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Praise God. Amen. Amen. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift. For the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. Modern English, the gift is not as through one who sinned,
Starting point is 01:21:36 for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification. Romans isn't an easy book to understand your brain really has to work to dissect each part of the sentences of Paul so mainly in verse 16 Paul's presenting a vivid contrast between the consequences of Adam's sin and the redemptive gift provided by Jesus. Right.
Starting point is 01:22:15 So Adam's single sin. Remember, there was multiple sins. He just won one sin. Adam's single sin brought judgment and condemnation. While the gift of Christ, this gift of grace, leads to justification. So what we're seeing here is the transformative nature of grace. It does more than just cancel the penalty of sin. It restores humanity to a righteous standing before God.
Starting point is 01:22:59 You have to have both. It's not enough just to have your sins canceled. You have to be restored to a proper right standing with God. So Adam's disobedience resulted in widespread condemnation, and it came from a single act. in contrast the grace that comes from Jesus Christ addresses not just that one sin but the accumulated sin of all
Starting point is 01:23:37 humanity throughout time yes so the gift of grace is not Yes. So the gift of grace is not simply a response to a singular failing, a single sin. It's the remedy for all sin. Yes, and not just Adam's sin. That's what this verse is trying to get across here so the price that was paid
Starting point is 01:24:08 was not for Adam's sin but the sin of everyone the free gift is of many offenses unto justification yes starting with Adam starts with Adam but it covers us too
Starting point is 01:24:23 right all said much more It starts with Adam, but it covers us too. Right. I'll say much more. Much more. You know, we keep repeating that this gift of grace is unearned. It comes from the goodness, the generosity of God, his mercy. Adam's judgment was deserved. But the gift of grace is not deserved. And so the distinction reinforces the idea that salvation is the result of divine love, not human effort.
Starting point is 01:25:24 That's the message throughout Romans. All of this is an act of God's love. We don't deserve the grace. We can't earn the grace. If we could, it wouldn't be grace. It wouldn't be grace, would it? It wouldn't be grace. It wouldn't be grace, would it? It wouldn't be grace.
Starting point is 01:25:47 So this gift of grace is not just about reversing the condemnation that came on mankind. It brings about a transformation so that those who receive the grace enter into a relationship with the God who gave the grace. And the ultimate grace is eternal life. So the restoration goes beyond erasing the sin and the consequences of the sin. It brings humanity into right standing, righteousness, right standing with God, alignment with God, with his original intention for creation. Remember, this is all about going back to the garden. That is God's passion.
Starting point is 01:26:52 To restore his children to the garden. And once you get that in your soul, it changes your life. Because you want to be in the garden with your father. It's the thing that makes him the happiest. And it's what will make you the most blessed. So Adam's sin brought judgment on everybody, and the grace of Christ brings restoration, wholeness, righteousness to everybody. So Adam was the head of fallen humanity. Jesus Christ is the head of redeemed humanity.
Starting point is 01:27:49 Yes. Adam's sin leads to death. Christ's obedience leads to life. Right. And so Christ now has replaced Adam as the federal head. Yes. We talked about this. This is a big theological term called federal headship.
Starting point is 01:28:07 Basically, it just means that Adam represented all of humanity. But now that Adam's sin has been justified by grace, Christ now is the new, you will federal head of humanity so Adam was human number one right but now Jesus is human number one God man all God
Starting point is 01:28:40 all man this grace not only does it transform our lives in this light but it gives us hope for the eternal life it assures us that despite the weight of our past sins, we are justified through grace. Verse 17, for if by one man's offense death reigned by one, much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. So, Adam's transgression brought death, and that took dominion over all humanity. And really all of creation too. All of creation. This is the reign of death.
Starting point is 01:29:50 Reign, R-E-I-G-N, not water reign. Reign, the reign of death. The ruling, the rulership of death. Death took over all creation animals die plants die humans die it was never meant to be that way i think it's hard for people to even comprehend even christians to understand that there was not supposed to be any death. Nothing.
Starting point is 01:30:29 Nothing was supposed to die. But the grace of Jesus Christ. That grace enables us to reign in life rule in life yes overcoming the dominion of sin and death it's not just for the afterlife the world to come it is for now it is to give you a victorious life now. Now this is, I mentioned much more. This is when Paul said much more. It's underlining the redemptive power of Jesus.
Starting point is 01:31:28 It's saying that the redemptive power of Jesus Christ far exceeds the consequences of Adam's failure. Yes. Much more. While Adam's sin brought worldwide death,
Starting point is 01:31:47 the grace of Christ brings even greater restoration and righteousness. Doc, this one, this verse, I really, this got me to do a lot of pondering on this one. Like, I don't comprehend. It hit me hard in preparing this that we underestimate how much more grace affects life. Paul said much more.
Starting point is 01:32:23 Yes. Which is easy for us to understand how death has affected the world. But Paul's telling us, if by one man's offense death reigned by one, much more they which receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in the fullness of this grace. It just challenged me this morning as I was studying these scriptures. We're taking it too lightly.
Starting point is 01:33:29 What does it mean that grace reigns much more? so Adam's sin of disobedience brought about death the perfect obedience of Christ brought about life and the grace that Christ offers is universal. It's sufficient for all who accept it. It's available to everyone on the planet,
Starting point is 01:33:54 but they have to accept it. So in a sense, Christ saved everybody, but that doesn't mean they're all saved. in a sense, Christ saved everybody. But that doesn't mean they're all saved. He paid the price for their salvation. But they have to receive it by faith.
Starting point is 01:34:18 And if they don't receive it, they lose it. But it's available. It's available to every human on the planet much more than death so by accepting this gift the gift of grace, we're not just justified, but we are empowered to reign and rule over sin and death. Yes. It elevates us from the dominion of death to a life of grace and righteousness. And so the way I would think about that, ick is what jesus said in john 10 10 he said the thief cometh not for to steal uh and to kill and to destroy i'm come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly not just life and when jesus talked about life he
Starting point is 01:35:19 meant eternal life but a more abundant life but it seems like a lot of believers are satisfied with just the life, and realize the much more, the abundant life that we have available to us, which is also received by faith. As much faith as it takes to believe for eternal life, it requires faith to believe for abundant life now. And the moment a preacher or teacher starts talking about abundant life the religious spirits go berserk every time every time well what about this and what about that and so well Adams verse 17 is telling us
Starting point is 01:36:18 Adam's offense brought condemnation and death but Christ's grace and his righteousness brings justification and eternal life. This is the message throughout the book of Romans.
Starting point is 01:36:37 I think Paul could have wrote it in one paragraph. Verse 18. Therefore, paragraph verse 18 therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men under justification of life modern English so then as through one the justification of life. Modern English,
Starting point is 01:37:05 so then as through one trespass came condemnation to all men, even so through one righteous act came justification of life to all men. One single act, one single trespass, one single sin. Adam's disobedience brought judgment and condemnation upon all humanity until Christ comes again.
Starting point is 01:37:39 Does one sin have, does it reverberate? Doesn't that tell you how powerful one sin is? Yeah, it has consequences. It begets sin. So the condemnation that came upon humanity through Adam was physical death and spiritual separation from God. In contrast to Adam, the last Adam, Jesus Christ, he performed one righteous act. Yes. And that made justification available to all who believe.
Starting point is 01:38:40 So, Doc, we know what Adam's one single sin was. What was Jesus' one righteous act that reversed the curse? He obeyed his Father and went to the cross. He went to the cross. The cross. Going to the cross reversed the curse. And that single act,
Starting point is 01:39:02 that single, that one righteous act provides us And that single act, that single, that one righteous act, provides us the foundation for justification, a declaration that we are righteous before God. So just as Adam's trespass had universal consequences, the righteous act of Jesus also has universal consequences. The righteous act of Jesus also has universal consequences. It makes forgiveness and mercy and grace and eternal life available to all. Adam's act ensured condemnation
Starting point is 01:39:50 for everybody Jesus' act ensured justification for everybody who receives it by faith yes why didn't he just say, okay, everybody's forgiven. You're all justified.
Starting point is 01:40:11 Everybody. Why do we have to receive? That would violate the justice of God. The short answer is that would violate God's righteousness. It would make God unrighteous so God had given a command he given a very clear command Adam disobeyed and it was Adam that disobeyed they keep that in mind by one man no sin and so but if God had just said I'll forget about it then he really he did he would be denying his very nature in essence you know he would say
Starting point is 01:40:53 that my word doesn't mean anything at all you can do whatever you want to do So the main theme here is Adam, as the original federal head of humanity, committed one sin, and that sin brought death, physical death, and separation from God to the entire human race. Jesus, the last Adam, committed one righteous act. He went to the cross, and he reversed the curse of Adam's disobedience, and he restored all that was lost. Praise God. All.
Starting point is 01:41:41 He restored all that was lost in the garden. You have to understand, if you're saved, you're in the garden now. Tomorrow I'm going to show you a scripture. I'll remember. I'm going to be teaching on faith, but I'm going to show you a scripture about this tomorrow. You're in the garden now. You're in your own miniature, personalized garden. What you make of it
Starting point is 01:42:18 depends on your faith and your obedience. But the garden is there for you amen verse 19 for as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Once again, we're repeating the theme. Adam's single act of disobedience resulted in all humanity being declared sinful. The obedience of Christ, which culminated in his sacrificial death on the cross, leads to many being declared righteous,
Starting point is 01:43:15 those who have faith in what he did on the cross. What is it that he did on the cross? He reversed the curse. Amen. He took us back to the garden. Man, Doc, I've got to write that. I've got a book in my spirit. I've been wanting to write for a long time,
Starting point is 01:43:41 The Garden Gospel. Oh, that's been down in you for a long time. It's been about five years. But the Lord's working on it. He's writing it inside of me, all right? So we see the stark contrast between the destructive power of Adam's behavior, the restorative power of Christ's behavior, resulting in universal guilt. It was counted against all humans. But Christ's righteousness is imputed to believers,
Starting point is 01:44:40 counting them as justified, guilt-free, right standing before God. Before you came to Christ, Adam's sin was imputed to you. You were walking around carrying the guilt of Adam's sin. So was I. So was Doc. All of us. But once you believe in Jesus Christ, once the Holy Spirit comes into you,
Starting point is 01:45:13 the righteousness of Christ now replaces the sin of Adam. And suddenly you go from being unjustified to being justified. Right. And to contrast the two Adams, if you will, the first Adam and the last Adam, Adam's sin was credited to him or applied to him and thus to all humanity because of what? Unbelief. Un unbelief in what god said whereas with the last adam grace is now imputed to us credited to us by how i believe oh praise god adam it was imputed by unbelief with the last adam christ it's imputed to us by belief
Starting point is 01:46:07 so it's not automatic to uh all of humanity that they come under this what they have to do is they have to believe what do they have to believe that christ died for them that he rose again for the purpose of paying for our sins. And then when we believe that, then it is imputed to us, to our account, by faith, by belief. Wow. That's good, Doc. So Adam's role as the federal head of humanity resulted in the spread of sin and death. Christ as the last Adam, the new federal head of humanity, brings back what God desired in the beginning, the original intention of God, restores the relationship with God, promises eternal life, justifies the believer, and makes them righteous in the eyes of God. Now, justification through Christ's righteousness is not automatic, but it's available.
Starting point is 01:47:32 It's available for all, but it's not automatic. It's applied only to those who have faith in him and in what he did this one righteous act faith is the means by which believers are united with christ and receive his obedience as their own hallelujah that oh boy that's it we by faith we're receiving christ's obedience as our own yes that that's the right words there yes faith is the means by which you are united with jesus christ and receive his obedience as though it was your own. Praise God. Now do you understand why we're devoting so much attention this year to faith? Without faith, you don't get any of this. You're just getting religion.
Starting point is 01:48:38 You're just getting a Sunday school lesson. This is what's happening. Too many people are just getting sunday school lessons they're getting sermons and they don't apply faith to it and they don't get the benefit they never enter into the garden right because they belong to a church that doesn't believe you're going to go into a garden in this life more abundantly more abundantly i'm going to tell you i lived too many years of my life below being more abundantly and i've made up my mind doc the rest whatever rest, whatever days left I've got, I'm living as abundantly as the Lord makes available.
Starting point is 01:49:35 And if it offends people, that's their problem, not mine. And I'm going to teach as many people to live abundantly, more abundantly. And if that offends people, that's their problem. Yeah yeah you don't want more abundantly in your life yeah go without it you got plenty of room over here yeah yeah go for it go for less than abundant there are people in the church that will fight you even over abundant, let alone more abundant. Well, he didn't really mean abundant, abundant, did he? No, it's what he said. But, Doc, they will fight you even over abundant. They're not even willing to accept abundant.
Starting point is 01:50:21 Well, they even have a problem receiving eternal life some believers will go well I'm just happy to have a little cabin over in glory just a little shack a little cabin no you you've got more abundance not just in the afterlife but
Starting point is 01:50:41 in the right now life yes yes use your abundance for the afterlife, but in the right now life. Yes. Yes. Use your abundance for God's glory and watch what happens. Use it for his kingdom and watch what happens. Open up your house for the gospel. Open up your wallet for the gospel.
Starting point is 01:51:04 Open up your possessions for the gospel. Watch what happens. You'll be more abundant. And abundance is not based upon our natural circumstances, but on God's provision. Yes. My God shall supply all my needs according to his riches, his riches, his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, not his just let's make do, but his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. In the natural terms, if everybody has one cow, the guy with two cows has abundance, right? But God looks at it a whole different way. He says, I've given you the cattle on a thousand hills. And so that, you know, the abundance that we have is in Christ, but it has practical real life applications now. Amen. Amen.
Starting point is 01:51:54 Verse 20. Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound, but where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. So the law was introduced to reveal the full extent of human sin. It set a perfect standard that humanity is unable to meet.
Starting point is 01:52:22 Yes. And that increased the awareness of our sinfulness. That the bar is so high we can't reach it. It's perfection. We can't reach it. You know, if believers can just get this,
Starting point is 01:52:40 you'll get a much more fuller understanding of the Old Testament if you understand that the purpose of the law was to drive us to grace. Yes. The purpose of the law was to drive us to grace, not to make us righteous by keeping the law, but to realize how unrighteous we are in our inability to keep the law and to throw ourselves on the altar of God
Starting point is 01:53:06 and say, I can't keep this law. And God says, that's exactly where I want you to be. But, Doc, we've got these Judaizers in the church who are saying grace is to drive you to the law. Isn't that what they're teaching? Yes, that's exactly what they're teaching yes that's exactly what they're teaching you couldn't keep the law then you can't keep the law now by defining right and wrong the law calls sin to abound in human awareness that's what paul's saying here yes the law entered that the offense might abound
Starting point is 01:53:48 so where when the law came into existence our awareness of sin, the purpose of it was to expose our inability to achieve righteousness through our own effort of keeping the law. Right. So no matter how much sin increased, God's grace abounded even more. Yes.
Starting point is 01:54:35 All right, so if the devil has vats and tubs of sin, God has more vats and tubs and buckets of grace. He outdoes him all the time. Satan can't come up with more sin than God has grace. Grace is always overtaking sin. You think about that. If the angels are saying to God, God, there's more sin on the earth.
Starting point is 01:55:03 What does God say? More grace. Get more grace. He doesn't say, well, send the fire down there and burn it out. He says, no, get us grace. More grace. Grace just keeps abounding. It's outrunning sin.
Starting point is 01:55:25 Sin can't keep up with grace. Sin's got its tongue hanging out. It's huffing and puffing. It can't keep up. And grace is running and not even sweating. Amen. I like that picture where you just see grace. I mean, sin, it's abounding.
Starting point is 01:55:45 It's going all over the place. But grace is right there chasing it. Yeah, but the sin is huffing and puffing when it's hung out. And grace is just kind of like leaping and grinning and laughing as it goes. Abounding. I like that. And looking back at sin saying,
Starting point is 01:56:02 hey, you're really losing. You're way back there. Sin can't keep up. Satan's trying to manufacture as much sin as he can, but he can't keep up with grace. God's making more grace every day. I never thought about this, Doc. I like that. Heaven's grace factory is working 24-7.
Starting point is 01:56:33 He's putting in orders. I want more grace. We got to get more grace to the earth. Why? Sin is abounding. We got to outdo sin. We got to have more grace. God is not shocked by humans sinning.
Starting point is 01:56:58 He's shocked by humans not accepting grace. Boy. so the super abundant grace demonstrates God's infinite mercy and forgiveness and love the law prepared the way for Christ by exposing
Starting point is 01:57:24 the need for a Savior. And by magnifying sin, it made humanity's reliance on God's grace unmistakable. While the law identified sin, grace eradicated it. And it's through the sacrifice, this one righteous act on the cross, that Jesus Christ provided reconciliation between fallen humans and the holy God of the universe and restored humanity's relationship with God. And so grace empowers us to live victorious lives free from the power of sin. Whatever sin you're dealing with, you need to declare today that you have grace to overcome it.
Starting point is 01:58:34 Whatever you're dealing with today, the consequences of past sins, you have grace to overcome it. I told some members of our team yesterday, I said, you know, grace doesn't eliminate trouble in your life. It just allows you to just slide through it. You just grease with grace. The devil is trying to get his hands on you and he can't hold you. You just slide.
Starting point is 01:59:29 Did you ever, when you were a kid, did you ever participate in a grease pig pig contest I was thinking the same thing doc I was actually thinking you had they get the little pigs out there well not really little but you know maybe a couple months old they grease them up you know and then they put the kids in there and you can catch a grease big no you can't and so and the devil can't catch you when you're greased with grace that's right he can't lay his hands on you no it'll it'll make him cuss he can't he can't get his hands on you. You just slip through. The trouble doesn't go away. No. Immediately. It doesn't go away immediately.
Starting point is 02:00:10 The persecution doesn't go away immediately. But you'll slip through it. You'll slide through it. You'll come out on the other end and look back and go, hey, devil, you didn't get me, did you? No, you have to get through it. But you're just going to slide through it. You're greased with grace. Romans 5.21.
Starting point is 02:00:35 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin's rule brought death as spiritual and physical into the world and it holds dominion over humanity. The reign of death
Starting point is 02:01:01 is universal. It affects everyone without exception. And even grace doesn't allow us The reign of death is universal. It affects everyone without exception. Yes. And even grace doesn't allow us to escape physical death. Right. But death will not get its hands on us when we leave our body. That's when you're grieved with grace. When the devil's standing there,
Starting point is 02:01:25 when you take your last breath, and I'm going to grab your soul, and your soul is greased with grace. Sorry, devil, you lost again. I'm not here. And you just slip into the hands of Jesus, and he says, yeah, he's mine. I'm taking her home.
Starting point is 02:01:51 But in contrast to sin, grace rules through the righteousness of Christ. Grace doesn't just counteract sin. It establishes a new dominion. Yes. A new paradigm. And it's the righteousness of Christ that is central to this reign and rule of grace. Through his perfect obedience and sacrifice. Christ enables grace.
Starting point is 02:02:36 To overpower sin and bring new life to us. So this grace. Not only gives us forgiveness, but it gives us the assurance of everlasting communion with our Heavenly Father. Right. We have that hope, that assurance, because we have this grace. So this life of grace is a present reality, and it's a future hope. You don't have to wait to die to enjoy grace. Grace is for now. When Christ comes back, it's just eternal grace.
Starting point is 02:03:27 He's covering us forever. So while sin reigned and ruled in death, grace triumphs. It guarantees eternal life for all who accept the righteousness of Christ. Sins affects our universal. Graces affects
Starting point is 02:03:55 our universal to all who believe and accept by faith. So, so the main thing here is to understand that grace does more than forgive it it restores the broken relationship between humanity and God. And by bringing forth this reconciliation, grace undoes. It undoes. Undoes or undoes. The alienation that was caused by sin.
Starting point is 02:04:43 Again, it's not just a future promise. It transforms your life now. Yes, praise God it does. All right, so, Doc, tomorrow, Faith Friday and Holy Communion. Right. And then on Monday, we begin Romans chapter 6. All right. So we are making headway now.
Starting point is 02:05:07 We're moving a little quicker than we have been in the past on some of our studies. And so we encourage you to read ahead in Romans and to meditate on Romans chapter 6 as we get started next week. As Rick mentioned, tomorrow is Faith Friday. And we'd love to have you here as we do a special teaching all this year 2025 we're doing special teachings on friday about the topic of faith and so we want you to be here because we are this is our 2025 is our faith year here it's our we're we're believing god by faith for bigger and better and more abundance so and we we're meeting tonight in prayer and we're meeting tonight for prayer yes yeah well i'll get you a prayer 8 p.m this evening we'd love to have you join us for that
Starting point is 02:05:58 as well uh and so uh if you can uh join us at 8 p.m. Eastern time tonight on Faith and Values, we'll be getting together to pray for our Miracle Faith Microchurch Project and come expecting God to do great things. We've had a couple of great meetings these past two weeks and really have been digging down in prayer. And so I would love to have you available for that as Rick mentioned to tomorrow's also the day we set aside for the Lord's Supper and so be sure to have bread and either grape juice or red wine prepared in advance to join us for the Lord's Supper tomorrow. And so we invite anyone that's a confessing believer
Starting point is 02:06:46 that grace is abounding in to join us. If they're a confessing believer and they've been baptized in water according to Scripture, we invite you to participate in that. Doc, I'm looking at some of the chat comments. Alice said,
Starting point is 02:07:04 never heard it taught that way. So much to unpack. Keeps on getting better. Vicki said, I love that grace allows me to put on Jesus's obedience. I like that. That's good. You got that. All right, Vicki, you got it.
Starting point is 02:07:21 You got it. You got it. Catherine, always thought I knew who I was in Christ, but now I truly know and have a visual picture of who I am in him. Amen. That's good. Every day, more and more, my faith increases. Hallelujah. That's good. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God yes
Starting point is 02:07:46 alright well once again we appreciate you joining us today for today's study in Romans chapter 5 had nearly 400 people with us today live if you're listening to us on our repeat or one of our other platforms for the recording we invite you to come and join us with us today live if you're listening to us on our repeat on one of our other
Starting point is 02:08:05 platforms for the recording we invite you to come and join us every weekday morning 8 a.m. for the live edition of morning manna we'd love for you to participate we're seeing our numbers grow this year and that's exciting to see that that means more and more people are loving the word and you can't knock that at all you're you're setting aside time for the word and you can't knock that at all. You're setting aside time for the word. And think about this, Rick. If everyone, well, let's just say, we got Wade Brown that's on our chat right now. Wade, if you join us every day for a year, a morning man, a Monday through Fridayiday you would have completed more than 200 hours
Starting point is 02:08:47 of bible study think about that 200 hours of studying the word of god with other believers uh which if you try to translate that into a college degree that'd be worth about two years of college wow yeah because you're doing every day for an hour a day for an entire year so you're getting a college education whether you realize it or not i mean we're talking seminary level education when you're studying the word of god like this okay doc uh so don said we should be careful she said i really think we should take another look at God's laws, commandments, instructions, precepts, rules, whatever you want to call it. Look at Deuteronomy chapter 30. Don, I would say you should take another look at the commandments in the Sermon on the Mount.
Starting point is 02:09:41 Right. We're in the new covenant. Yes. the mount right we're in the new covenant yes god see god stood on a mountain in the old covenant and gave the commandments god stood on another mountain in the new covenant and gave commandments we are to study the the commandments of god in the sermonermon on the Mount. When you master them, then you can go back and review the old covenant, but master the commandments on the Sermon on the Mount. Right. And even Paul later on in Romans,
Starting point is 02:10:19 and we'll get to that, says that the law was a schoolmaster. It was a tutor. It was to teach us. We're under a whole new covenant now. And so you could also make the argument that the Mosaic law was only for the Hebrews. And so you could make that argument,
Starting point is 02:10:41 but there was a law before the law, right? There was a law before it was written by Moses. There was still a law in place. Yeah, but it was only for the Hebrews. That's right. And so even as a Gentile, to default back to the Mosaic law, you know, you're throwing a burden on yourself. That is a judaizing teaching so not to condemn anyone but that you have a more abundant life now is what we're trying to say
Starting point is 02:11:14 that's what it's all about if you want just like don you don if you if you're not getting this you are never going to fulfill the commandments the rules and the precepts in the old covenant you are never going to do it period i don't care how long you study it you're never going to fulfill it it's been fulfilled it was fulfilled by jesus christ and we fulfill the law now by having faith in him. We're in the new covenant. Yes. Praise God. More abundantly.
Starting point is 02:11:53 More abundantly. More abundantly. You know? Okay. Hey, we got to go. Love you. See you tonight for the prayer meeting and then tomorrow morning for? Faith Friday.
Starting point is 02:12:04 Morning, man. Faith Friday and true news later today. God bless you. Love you. Bye. Bye-bye.
