President Donald Trump spoke by video today to thousands of globalists gathered in Davos, Switzerland, attending the 2025 gathering of the World Economic Forum. One word summarizes the atmosphere. Fear. The globalists know they lost. And Mr. Trump's movement won and it's on the move. This is True News for Thursday, January 23rd, 2025. Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's news by examining this headline published by London's Telegraph today. Trump sparks fear and euphoria among the global elite.
Starting point is 00:02:03 And don't you like that image that they posted up there? You know who that is just by the profile there, towering over the mountains of Davos there. Yes. So, Doc, we were there. You and I were there the first time Donald Trump showed up at Davos. Yes. We witnessed it. And our team, we didn't know what door he was coming through.
Starting point is 00:02:26 And so we split up and we all went different directions with cameras like, okay, we'll have somebody at various doors. Well, he happened to come through the door I was at, in the room I was standing in. And he walked in. I would say there were probably 700, 800 people in the room. Right. This is 2018. 2018. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:51 And he went up the escalator. Yes. He has this thing about escalators. He went up the escalator. Everybody's looking at him, all right? I mean, world leaders, diplomats, CEOs. Billionaires, everybody. And I made a remark.
Starting point is 00:03:05 I said it out loud. And I said, a lot of people stretching their necks to see the man they hate. Yes. And a man in front of me, I don't know who he was, he turned and looked at me and laughed,
Starting point is 00:03:17 you know, smiled. I said, it's true, isn't it? You know? I said, everybody here has been saying nasty things about him. And there he is going up the escalator. And the whole room is quiet watching him. Now, that was 2018.
Starting point is 00:03:35 2020, we were there. Yes. And we watched him basically tell the European business elite, I'm going to take your jobs from you. I'm going to move them to America. I had dinner last night. I forget how many, you know, 20 or so CEOs of European companies. Remember that? He said, I had dinner last night with, I think it was like 20 CEOs from European companies.
Starting point is 00:04:01 And he said, they're moving their companies to the United States. So today, he didn't go. He didn't fly to Davos. companies and he said they're moving their companies to the united states yes so today he didn't go he didn't fly to davos he spoke my video and it was an amazing performance it was i watched the whole you watched the entire thing i did yes before we get to this i want to show you a video that came out yesterday. This is, I think the gentleman's name was Gunther. Who was the gentleman? I don't know who the speaker was.
Starting point is 00:04:34 He's on a panel at World Economic Forum, and he described Donald Trump as a dead man who rose from the dead. Here it is. Trump has done something no person in the world has ever done before. A dead man, a dead politician has risen. Somebody who a year, if we were four years ago at Davos, he's buried, dead politically, known to me. He's now returned. This is the greatest comeback in political history of a politician. And then, therefore, he thinks he can do anything.
Starting point is 00:05:14 We need to also factor in not only who's won, which is Trump, but who's lost, which is to say us. And I guess I would add, throw into that, that the epitome of the us who is losing here is Europe. That the European Union and by and large its member states have misread the direction where events were going. The causes that it is interested in, climate, human rights, some others, as well as the methods of diplomacy that it prefers, are simply being gradually kind of marginalized as something new, not necessarily something better, but something new moves into the center. In other words, the people are fed up with you guys.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Right. And they know it now. They now know it. Yes. The global elite gathering in Davos, they're admitting. We lost. We lost. We lost a war that's been going on for decades.
Starting point is 00:06:17 I mean, the purpose of the World Economic Forum was to bring about, essentially, it started to make Europe an economic powerhouse. Right. That's the middle name, economic. Yes. But we've been to a couple of these WEF conferences. There's very little talk, really, about the economy. It's really about global socialism. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:43 I'm going to reiterate a prediction I made last night at the end of the program. I believe the World Economic Forum is going to die. After that, yes. It may not be an immediate death. It may be a slow death. But that was the first death gurgle. All the world power players saying now to themselves, World Economic Forum has been. It's not going to benefit you to be here. And the second prediction I'm going to make is
Starting point is 00:07:20 Donald Trump is going to start something like the American Economic Forum. And instead of Davos, he'll meet in Aspen. Right. Or one of the other ski resorts in America. He'll invite the world, come to America. Yes. This is the center.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Come to America. This is where you're going to make money. Build your businesses here. Bring your money here. You know, if they have a World Economic Forum next year, the attendance will probably be 50% lower. Why would you go? The only thing that would cause the attendance to stay up is if Donald Trump shows up next year. And he's not going to.
Starting point is 00:08:10 I seriously doubt it, even though the CEO of Bank of America alluded to it. But I don't think he's going next year. Why would he go? No, he's going to start his own. Yeah, I agree with that. Everything he's doing is his own now. That's right. You're in Trump world now. He is branding the world. He's branding his own world. He's creating, you're right,
Starting point is 00:08:31 Trump world. But I've got to tell you, spiritually, when I heard last night, when I heard the gentleman say he was dead and now he's alive, the very first thing I thought, and I'm not I don't interpret this scripture the way that the rapture guys do it. I don't interpret it that
Starting point is 00:08:54 way. Revelation 13 3 and I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death and his deadly wound was healed and all the world wondered after the beast. Yeah, you're not saying Donald Trump's a beast, are you?
Starting point is 00:09:13 No, but he was shot near his head. Yes, wounded. And he was just pronounced a dead man who rose from the dead. Yes. I thought the same thing when I saw the video. I never believed—I never accepted the traditional American evangelical interpretation of Revelation 13.3 because it was always, oh, the Antichrist is going to be shot in the head, and then he's going to come back to life. And I just think, no, that's not what it means. And I've always thought it means some type of wound, more like a political or an economic wound, a wound to prestige and power.
Starting point is 00:09:55 And then it revives. It comes back. Well, that's really what happened to Donald Trump. In many ways, yes. The world wrote him off, said, that man's done. He's going to prison. He'll spend the rest of his life in prison.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Now, he is the most powerful man on earth. What an amazing year it's been. But we should just watch to see if there are any other scriptures being fulfilled. Let's watch. Wall Street Journal, Trump tells Davos, make your product in America or else.
Starting point is 00:10:38 This is going to be his style. It's going to be do this or else. Basically what he's proposing, if you move your companies to the U.S., you're going to have the lowest taxes of any major country in the world. And you won't have any tariffs. If you don't, you're going to have tariffs on you. It's just that simple. Corporations are going to move. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:00 We've got a clip of Donald Trump addressing WEF saying these very words. My message to every business in the world is very simple. Come make your product in America and we will give you among the lowest taxes of any nation on earth. We're bringing them down very substantially, even from the original Trump tax cuts. But if you don't make your product in America, which is your prerogative, then very simply you will have to pay a tariff, differing amounts, but a tariff which will direct hundreds of billions of dollars and even trillions of dollars into our treasury to strengthen our economy and pay down debt. Under the Trump administration, there will be no better place
Starting point is 00:11:45 on earth to create jobs, build factories, or grow a company than right here in the good old USA. This is why he pulled out of the French international tax scheme. Right. To harmonize corporate taxes that each Western nation would pass the same tax laws so that no nation had an advantage by having lower taxes. I knew the moment he pulled out of it, he's going to lower taxes. Yes. And he's going to lower taxes to pull in these European businesses.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Right. And he's going to say, if you don't want to come here, fine. But we're going to put a high tax on your products. And it's not limited to Europe. I mean, Asia, the Middle East, any business, he said. It's the whole world. Right. And including Saudi Arabia, which we're going to get to here in just a moment. Now, as President Trump addressed the members at the World Economic Forum
Starting point is 00:12:47 earlier today, he celebrated the start of his administration Thursday, this is from Axios, while addressing the World Economic Forum, lauding his agenda while taking digs at former President Biden. He said, what the world has witnessed in the past 72 hours is nothing less than a revolution of common sense. And basically saying what you had previously was just chaos and nonsense prior to this. I had the opportunity to watch the entire presentation of President Trump at World Economic Forum. I selected a few sound bites out of the presentation and response to questions. And Doug, before we show this, I want to just say, I was talking today with a gentleman in another country. And the very first thing he said was,
Starting point is 00:13:44 your new president said there's only two genders. And that caught his attention. Yes. Like, finally, finally, somebody in America said there's only men and women. Yes. Someone with sense. Somebody with sense.
Starting point is 00:14:01 So this is what he's referring to, a revolution of common sense. So what's the first one we're watching? The first one is right near the very beginning of his presentation, where he stakes the claim for America in his presentation to the World Economic Forum and saying, this is a different America than a week ago. Watch this. In addition, I'm pleased to report that America is also a free nation once again. On day one, I signed an executive order to stop all government censorship. No longer will our government label the speech of our own citizens as misinformation or disinformation, which are the favorite words of censors and those who wish to stop the free exchange of ideas and, frankly, progress.
Starting point is 00:14:48 We have saved free speech in America, and we've saved it strongly. Now, he went on later on to address the current things going on with diversity, equity, and inclusion nonsense that's been going on. Of course, this week, he has shut down every single DEI office in the federal government. Hey, if you're hiring a DEI executive, there's a lot of them available right now. Yes. If you're looking for one. Yeah. If you're looking for someone with philosophy degrees or women's pottery degrees, they're the perfect folks for it. A lot of corporations are also shutting down their DEI. Oh, yes. Except one.
Starting point is 00:15:32 Yes. Costco. Costco doubled down. Costco said, we're not retreating. Yeah. Think about that before you shop at Costco. Yes. But the Trump administration, Donald Trump himself said late yesterday that I'll use the power of the federal government to investigate these companies that have DEI offices. Wow.
Starting point is 00:15:54 That shocked me. And so he said in his presentation near the beginning of talking to the folks at WEF, America now is not doing that kind of business anymore. We're a merit-based country now. Before you play this, because this is relevant, he rescinded an executive order signed by Lyndon Johnson. Yes. Back in the 60s. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Which established affirmative action. That's right. That's out the window now. Lyndon Johnson's executive order got repealed. That seed grew into the tree that we have today. That's right. Okay. Now we'll watch this.
Starting point is 00:16:37 My administration has taken action to abolish all discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion nonsense. And these are policies that were absolute nonsense throughout the government and the private sector. With the recent yet somewhat unexpected great Supreme Court decision just made, America will once again become a merit based country. You have to hear that word merit based country. And I've made it official and official policy of the United States that there are only two genders, male and female. And we will have no men participating in women's sports and transgender operations, which became the rage, will occur very rarely. You've got to wonder what is happening in the European halls of socialism.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Yes. And political correctness. What they're talking about tonight in Davos and all the restaurants. What are they going to do? What are they going to do? Well, they have to adapt or they don't do business with the U.S. That's the bottom line. And that gentleman in that first
Starting point is 00:17:49 video who said we lost, you know, if you listened to everything, he was saying all the ideals of the European Union, the people are rejecting. Yes. And he said, maybe not replacing it with something better, but it is something new.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Our way is being swept aside. That's what he was saying. Right. We have some other clips that we want to show you that are associated with some remarks. One clip I wanted to share is Donald Trump making remarks about Canada as the 51st state. Now, the reason why I wanted to include this, Rick, is the Canadian delegation was sitting on the front row. He did it again? Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:27 The Canadian delegation was sitting on the front row there at WEF. He called it a state? Oh, yes. All right. I've got to hear it. I haven't seen this myself. Canada, we have a tremendous deficit with Canada. We're not going to have that anymore.
Starting point is 00:18:42 We can't do it. I don't know if it's good for them. As you probably know, I say you can always become a state. And if you're a state, we won't have a deficit. We won't have to tariff you, etc., etc. But Canada has been very tough to deal with over the years. And it's not fair that we should have a $200 billion or $250 billion deficit. We don't need them to make our cars and they make a lot of them. We don't need their lumber because we have our own forests, et cetera, et cetera. We don't need their oil and gas. We have more than anybody. So sitting there in front of the Canadian delegation, you got to know that they're just squirming there. He said, hey, if you become a
Starting point is 00:19:22 state, there's no tariffs. You avoid the pain. You know, if you keep doing that nation after nation, you know what you become? An empire. I'm serious, Doc. I mean, it's an American empire that's building right now.
Starting point is 00:19:43 And if you have an empire, what else do you need an emperor and you don't need you don't need a constitution after that no you don't need a senate don't need to you just have an emperor yeah um he's going to say canada is a state so many times that there will be half of the Canadian people who will say, you know what? I'm starting to like the idea.
Starting point is 00:20:10 That's what he's doing. He's implanting the idea in Canada to weaken the Canadian government, to bring it about that it collapses because so many people are now talking about Trump's ideas. I mean, if another country planted an idea in the American people that, you know, we would be better off becoming a state of China.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Right. And they kept repeating it over and over again. It'll at least start some conversations. Yes. So he's implanting the thought. He's growing the idea. And he's so serious about it, Doc. The first time he said it, I thought, okay, he just did that to get under Justin Trudeau's skin.
Starting point is 00:20:59 And it worked. And it worked. It ended up forcing Trudeau out. To resign. Yeah. But he wasn't joking when he said it. He said it on purpose at that dinner to continue this line. And it's going to continue.
Starting point is 00:21:16 And I now believe Canada is going to join the USA. Oh, I think it's going to happen. It's no longer a foreign idea to me now. We're building the American fort from Panama to Greenland. Next one, CNBC, Donald Trump says he will demand that interest rates drop immediately. You know what that means? He just told the Federal Reserve, you'll do what I said. So Jerome Powell? He just ordered the Federal Reserve. Yes. Now, he didn't say it directly to the Federal Reserve, but he did definitely imply it. Well, who else is going to change interest rates? That's the only one, right?
Starting point is 00:21:53 Because just weeks ago, there were reports that the Fed is going to increase interest rates. Yes. Yeah, I saw those. Donald Trump tied the lowering of interest rates to the lowering of gas prices, excuse me, oil prices globally. In this next clip, he sets up the soundbite here by saying that I want to make a deal with OPEC. Or basically, he's told OPEC, you need to lower prices. He's not making deals with anybody. He's ordering people to lower prices. They ordered them. Doc, he's not making deals with anybody. He's ordering people to do things. And then he said, if oil prices go down, then interest rates need to go down, too.
Starting point is 00:22:31 And so that was a direct shot at Jerome Powell. Well, oil has already dropped today. Yes, and it's got to get out of the oil business right now because we're not going to see rising prices. They're going to be falling. All right. Here's Mr. Trump telling OPEC, you will lower prices. Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:59 And it's also reported today in the papers that Saudi Arabia will be investing at least $600 billion in America. But I'll be asking the crown prince, who's a fantastic guy, to round it out to around $1 trillion. I think they'll do that because we've been very good to them. And I'm also going to ask Saudi Arabia and OPEC to bring down the cost of oil. You've got to bring it down, which frankly, I'm surprised they didn't do before the election. That didn't show a lot of love by them not doing it. I was a little surprised by that. If the price came down, the Russia-Ukraine war would end immediately. Right now, the price is high enough that that war will continue. You got to bring down the
Starting point is 00:23:40 oil price. You're going to end that war. All right, so he mentioned Saudi Arabia, CNBC. This is number 13. CNBC, Trump says he'll ask Saudi Arabia to round out investment pledge in the United States to $1 trillion. This is his new tactic. Have you seen this? Oh, yes. Somebody makes a pledge, and he goes— Make it two.
Starting point is 00:24:04 Exactly. If someone says one, he says, why don't you go ahead and make it two? You go to a checkout line. Would you like to round that out to an even $10? No. But a lot of people say yes. Yes. And so he's saying now to world leaders, would you like to round out that pledge to an even $1 trillion?
Starting point is 00:24:23 I know you said $600 million, but. What's a trillion? That's hard trillion? Yeah, I know you said 600 million, but that's hard to say. Let's say a trillion. A trillion. That's easy to say. And they're agreeing to it. He did it to Masasori Yoshi's son. Yes, he sure did. He got him to double it.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Maya, you know, you said 100. Why don't you make it two? And he stepped right up and said, okay, we'll do two. We'll do two. Instantly. Instantly. Instantly. That's the influence this man has. So it means he is telling the Saudis, you're going to invest a trillion dollars in the United States.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Yes. Doc, there's so much economic growth coming into this country. I don't know who's going to stop him. Because the Democrats are in disarray. Yes. The deep state doesn't know what to do. Bullets don't stop this guy. Words don't stop him.
Starting point is 00:25:27 And world leaders are bowing at his feet saying, okay, we'll do it. And so you're going to see nations investing their sovereign wealth fund inside the USA with major projects. Now, the thing we've got to watch for is that he doesn't sell our assets to them. I'm talking about natural resources and so forth. Yes. I don't want the Saudis coming in here buying up all of our water plants. Right. You've got to watch for this kind of stuff. But a trillion dollars in businesses that create jobs, we're about to see a massive economic explosion.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Saudi Arabia, let's see, I'm going to go down to number 15. This is the Saudi finance minister. minister? Yes. And he was speaking to the CNBC host there at Davos and saying, you know, we've spoken to Donald Trump. We've talked to his people. We're ready to work with him. All right. Let's watch. This is CNBC and the finance minister of Saudi Arabia. So you are leading the Saudi delegation on the ground here. Just walk me through what your overall focus is through the course of this week. So, Dan, it's important to keep in mind that the kingdom under Vision 2030 is more integrated as part of the global economy. Whatever we do at home in terms of unlocking our potential as an economy and society to diversify our economy, unlock human potential, will have an impact not only on the region, but the globe and vice versa. So we're here to continue global dialogue, to continue being part of the discussion, but also to be part of the action
Starting point is 00:27:08 that will shape a more prosperous future. Talk to me about the global dialogue and what you're hearing on the ground here in Davos, particularly as it relates to the changing of the guard in the White House. President Trump is back. Are you positive, neutral or negative on what that means for Saudi Arabia and its economy? So if you take a step back, you'll see that the global economy is moving in two directions. One, there's a step in growth that we're still stuck in between 2.7 and 3.3 percent of growth. At the same time, we are the same people who are talking about this type of growth. They're talking in an excited way about the future potential of technology, of generative AI, how it will
Starting point is 00:27:46 disrupt the way we live and improve our economies and societies. And I think it's important for us to capture this, to move from that tepid growth, leveraging on intrepid leadership, building on bold decision-making, innovation, disruptive but constructive, bold but inclusive, ingrained in long-term thinking, but actioning as of today. And if you look at Vision 2030, you'll see an example of that to unlock our potential. And all around the world, I think we can see more examples of intrepid leadership that can help us really bridge the two directions and help us be in a better position to unlock more growth opportunities
Starting point is 00:28:25 in the global economy. Does Trump fall into that category? I mean, in the kingdom, we'll always look at what changes in terms of global economic policy, including the U.S. policy. We'll look at what will happen in terms of trade policy, deregulation, et cetera, over the next two quarters that sets its impact and continue our dialogue. Let's not forget that the kingdom has a longstanding, strong partnership with the US over eight decades, regardless of which administration was in office. And we'll look forward to continue work
Starting point is 00:28:54 with the second Trump administration, as we have with previous ones, to tackle many challenges, especially global ones, such as tepid growth. I wanted to ask you as well about Trump's energy policy. This, of course, directly impacts Saudi Arabia's budget priorities as well. His focus is drill, baby, drill. That
Starting point is 00:29:10 means unleashing America's energy potential. It also means perhaps adding more oil supply onto the global markets if the US is capable of doing so. Is Saudi Arabia still able to meet its budget priorities if we saw lower oil prices through 2025 as a direct result of some of Trump's policies? So maybe three quick things, Dan. First of all, our transformation is a long term structural transformation. We're moving from one economic structure to another. We're in the middle of that transformation with a strong start and a lot of momentum that's that's growing. Part of that is having to rely less.
Starting point is 00:29:48 He's stuck on, hey, we're moving into electronic vehicles. The oil company, the oil country, he doesn't get what's happening here. It just came to an end. He's saying, hey, the world's moving and the economy is moving in two separate directions. You're right. Yes. And Mr. Trump's telling you, you better pick the right one. You know, we spent 200 years building a global economy based on oil.
Starting point is 00:30:16 We're not going to abandon that anytime soon. I wish people would wake up to that fact. Now, the Saudi minister there, he may not be aware that there are rumors that Donald Trump is going to attempt to join OPEC in 2025. Oh, I haven't heard this one. Yes. He said, we need to be an exporter of energy and oil. Who knows? Maybe we'll even join OPEC. Oh, another world we're in another disruptor uh i want to go back up there's one i miss this is number 12 uh he is a real short one he made a comment about um the climate change cult here it is i terminated the ridiculous and incredibly wasteful Green New Deal.
Starting point is 00:31:05 I call it the Green New Scam. Withdrew from the one-sided Paris Climate Accord and ended the insane and costly electric vehicle mandate. We're going to let people buy the car they want to buy. So to the Saudi Minister of Planning and Economy, he just said we're going to be making gas guzzlers, folks. But of any country that should be clapping, it would be Saudi Arabia. Oh, yeah. But they signed on to the transition to another economy, another economic system.
Starting point is 00:31:43 Also, now this is the one I caught today, and I was like, go, Mr. Trump, go. Yeah. He called out Brian Moynihan, who is the CEO of Bank of America. Yeah, he was on the panel. On the panel. Yes. And Moynihan had asked him a question related to Russia, and then Trump came back after responding to that particular question, then had this remark. Zoomed in.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Brian Moynihan. Yeah, let's watch. By the way, speaking of you, and you've done a fantastic job, but I hope you start opening your bank to conservatives, because many conservatives complain that the banks are not allowing them to do business within the bank. And that included a place called Bank of America. They don't take conservative business. And I don't know if the regulators mandated that because of Biden or what, but you and Jamie and everybody, I hope you're going to open your banks to conservatives because what you're doing is wrong. Say that's a conspiracy theory.
Starting point is 00:32:49 It is not. No. Because last year, early in the campaign, a friend of mine who called me and he said, Rick, I have done business with the Bank of America. I don't recall what he said, you know, past 20 years. And numerous accounts. Oh, yes. Personal and business accounts. Right.
Starting point is 00:33:11 For like over 20 years. I said, well, what's wrong? He goes, they just notified me they closed every single account. And the only thing that sets this individual apart from others is he's a staunch conservative. Not only that, his accounts were closed the day after the Trump campaign announced that he was a member of the statewide Trump Finance Committee. The day after. And so they debanked him. They debanked him. They debanked him.
Starting point is 00:33:49 So don't listen to anybody who says it's a right-wing conspiracy theory. But did you see the way that Donald Trump delivered that? He said, Brian, you're doing a great job, but. You better stop. Because you know what? You can investigate him now. That's right. He can send the Department of Justice in to invest. He can send federal investigators into the Bank of America to look for emails and documents saying,
Starting point is 00:34:12 delete the accounts of conservatives. Can you imagine the chill that went over Brian Moynihan at that moment? Well, they could lose their banking license. Yes. If Donald Trump can get control of the Federal Reserve, he can strip banking licenses from people. That will put the fear in them. Of course, another topic at World Economic Forum is what's happening with Russia and Ukraine. And President Trump was asked a question from the panel regarding, is it possible for us
Starting point is 00:34:44 to see a Russian peace deal anytime soon? Okay. Let's watch. You're back here in Davos next year. Will there be then a peace agreement with Ukraine and Russia by then? Well, you're going to have to ask Russia. Ukraine is ready to make a deal. Just so you understand, this is a war that should have never started. If I were president, it would never have started.
Starting point is 00:35:11 This is a war that should have never, ever been started. And it wasn't started during my, there was never even talk about it. I knew that it was the apple of President Putin's eye, but I also knew that there was no way he was going in, and he wasn't going to go in. And then when I was out, bad things happened, bad things were said, a lot of stupidity all around, and you end up with what you have. Now you have all these bombed-out cities that look like demolition sites. That's a slightly revised narrative of history.
Starting point is 00:35:53 The Russians were warning the Trump administration for four years, get out of Ukraine. We will not accept NATO in Ukraine. We will not accept troops. We will not accept missiles. And this is during the Trump administration. And it was during the Trump years. So it wasn't like he said, Mr. Putin, that Ukraine was the apple of his eye, like he was just licking his lips saying, I can't wait until Trump leaves so I can eat that apple. No. The Russians were telling the United States, get out of Ukraine. The revolution was 2014.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Yes. Almost three years before Donald Trump went in the White House. And that was under Obama. And the U.S. carried out a coup in Ukraine and installed a puppet government. And then they started arming Ukraine in 2014. Yes. So, Mr. Trump, on that one. And by arming Ukraine, Ukrainians started killing Russian-speaking Ukrainians in the western province.
Starting point is 00:36:54 I mean, the eastern province. That's right. And that's why Russia came in. On that one, Mr. Trump has the wrong perspective. Fox News, let's go to the domestic. We've got a lot here to cover in 23 minutes. Deportations have started, Doc. Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:13 They've already started. You told me Home Depot is now Deport Depot. Deport Depot. And so they're rounding them up. Here's Fox News. First images of ICE mass deportation shows arrest of MS-13 gang members and murder suspects. Fox News had a news team embedded with federal agents as they were rounding up illegals yesterday. And some of the illegals were very unhappy about it, Rick. And said they
Starting point is 00:37:46 weren't going to go back to their home country. Might have a different opinion. All right, we're going to show you about two and a half minutes of a Fox News report. This is what they witnessed yesterday as they were traveling with a federal team. In the early days of this new Trump administration, ICE officials tell me they're taking what they call a worst-first approach, meaning they're going to target the worst of the worst criminal alien offenders first. Well, we were given exclusive access to join the elite ICE team right here in Boston as they go into sanctuary jurisdictions
Starting point is 00:38:25 and enforce immigration law. Good morning, everyone. It's a frigid five degrees in the pre-dawn hours just outside of Boston, where this team of elite ice officers is briefing on their targets for the day. We're going to be targeting some extremely violent offenders today. Within moments, the officers are on the move with eyes on their first target. Looks like we got movement target vehicle coming out. They quickly take him into custody. He's an MS-13 gang member wanted in El Salvador for aggravated murder and he has an Interpol red notice out for his arrest. We are targeting very violent threats to our community. I'm not going back to Haiti.
Starting point is 00:39:07 One of those threats is this illegal alien from Haiti. ICE says he's a gang member with 17 criminal convictions in recent years. You feel me? Yo, Biden forever, bro. Thank Obama for everything that he did for me, bro. ICE Boston quickly takes down its next targets, including this illegal alien from Brazil, who has an Interpol red notice for armed robbery. This Salvadoran illegal alien, charged locally with rape
Starting point is 00:39:36 and released by a sanctuary jurisdiction. And this Dominican illegal alien, charged with assault with a deadly weapon and heroin trafficking. Officers also arrested this Guatemalan MS-13 gang member facing gun charges. ICE says he was released from local custody just the day before. Their detainer request was ignored because of sanctuary policies. And in a sign of shifting priorities with the new Trump administration, this man, who was in the same apartment as the target, was also arrested
Starting point is 00:40:08 after ICE determined he's also in the U.S. illegally. This is what ICE calls collateral. So you guys got your main target just now, but you got somebody else. What just happened? So our main target was released by a sanctuary jurisdiction, not honoring a detainer. That person was released back into the community. And when we went to go find him, he's with somebody else who was previously removed from the United States. So he's going to go today too. And that is exactly what Border Czar Tom
Starting point is 00:40:37 Holman has warned would happen. When we find the bad guy, he's probably with others. Others that are in the United States illegally. They may not be a criminal priority, but we're not walking away from them. So the word is on the street today. About time. I've been waiting since Reagan for this. Hallelujah. Finally. Finally, it's happening. They're rounding up. I never could understand, Rick. If I was breaking the law doing something, they'd come and arrest me. Yes, but there's, Doc,
Starting point is 00:41:07 there was a very sinister agenda. Right, I know that, yeah. The agenda was to break down American society. Yes. The mass migration from the Middle East into Europe is an agenda. Yes.
Starting point is 00:41:26 The agenda, people think that the agenda is to bring Islam to Europe. That's not the agenda. The agenda is to depopulate the Middle East so that greater Israel can take the land. Yes. Israel can take the land. So, there are agendas in these immigration stories. Now, the next one, Trump
Starting point is 00:41:54 gives drug agents deportation power. Basically, what he's doing, he's deputizing tens of thousands of federal agents in other agencies to be agents for deportation. Yes. So DEA, Homeland Security, FBI.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Oh, they're going to go down to the post office, everything. If you were a federal agent and you got a gun, you know all those Social Security officers we talked about before, the thousands? Social Security had the largest armed force of any agency in the country. And that was followed by the VA. They're going to all go to the border. They're all going to be dispersed across the country. In the Fox report, isn't it interesting that they chose Boston? They chose a New England liberal sanctuary city for the first,
Starting point is 00:42:47 I don't know if that's the first read, but. But Boston is a sanctuary city. Yes. For sure. So they're targeting the leftist cities that are hiding these criminals. Now, the next one,
Starting point is 00:42:57 New York Times, this came out a couple hours ago. Judge temporarily blocks Trump plan to end birthright citizenship. Birthright meaning if a child is born inside the USA, the mother is in the country illegally. The child is automatically an American citizen, according to the advocates of this concept. Because they're saying the Constitution says
Starting point is 00:43:25 anybody born in the USA is a citizen. So they're saying, aha, there. If an illegal immigrant has a child inside the USA, the child is an American citizen and you can't deport the mother. You'd be a monster. Yeah, an animal. I wouldn't put it past.
Starting point is 00:43:48 I would not put it past that they deport the mothers and say, okay, the child's a citizen, but the mother is and the mother's leaving. Well, I heard a report last night where they were advising people that were here illegally that had anchor babies, children born here in the U.S., to find somebody to watch your child. Okay. So they're going to do it. You better find somebody to take care of your children. Because you're going home.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Yeah. So. All right. So, all right. Now, this, what I'm going to say now, and I said this before the election, when the judges and the news media and the leftist Democrats start throwing up legal roadblocks, Donald Trump is going to declare martial law. Not a state of emergency. Martial law. Do you think it'll be nationwide or do you think it'll be selected cities? Nationwide.
Starting point is 00:44:51 Nationwide. We will go into a state of martial law. And he'll tell these judges, you have nothing to do right now. We're in martial law. And if you continue to block me, I'll have agents come over and arrest you. That's a pretty radical move there. I'm telling you, Doc, we're going there. This man is going to implement his agenda.
Starting point is 00:45:18 I think he made up his mind a long time ago. He's going to use every tool. He's going to use every tool because they were using every tool they could find to put him away. That is true. And this time he's going to use every tool he's got. There are, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:35 probably hundreds of executive orders and there are national laws passed by Congress that give the president the authority to declare martial law if there is a national emergency. He's going to declare an invasion. And all he's got to say is tens of thousands of Chinese soldiers have come into the country.
Starting point is 00:45:58 And we have to find them. And I am declaring martial law and we're going to hunt them down. And while we're hunting them down, if we come across an illegal who is a criminal, a murderer, a rapist, we're going to gather those people up too. And every federal judge will be neutered. Get ready, folks. I predicted it before the election I said cleaning up this mess is going to be ugly and nasty
Starting point is 00:46:31 and you better be prepared for it the majority of the country is going to back him yeah they're going to say just do it round them up do it because the martial law is not going to affect you if you're going to say, just do it. Round him up. Do it. Because the martial law is not going to affect you if you're a law-abiding citizen. It's only going to
Starting point is 00:46:49 affect you if you are a lawbreaker or an advocate for lawbreakers. It's not going to affect you or me. It's not going to affect anybody who wants the illegals rounded up. But it is going to affect those who have been giving sanctuary to radical illegals rounded up. But it is going to affect those. Who have been giving sanctuary.
Starting point is 00:47:06 To radical illegals. And we're. You know. We could be in martial law. For the next four years. And once you're in martial law. You don't need a congress. Chris. Mr. Trump revoked security details for John Bolton and Brian Hook and others, but I just learned today Mike Pompeo was in that list, too.
Starting point is 00:47:44 That's right. What did Mr. Pompeo do? Oh, he was bad-mouthing Trump about a year or so back. Well, he has to pay for his own security now, doesn't he? Yeah. Do you know how much it was costing? Did you go through the article and see how much it was costing a month? For Pompeo alone, it was costing $2 million a month. $2 million?
Starting point is 00:48:04 $2 million a month. $2 million? $2 million a month just for that guy. $24 million a year? Yes, sir. And then Bolton, the same thing? I don't know how much they were paying for Bolton. But for Pompeo, the New York Times says it was $2 million a month. I mean, what can you do with $2 million a month. I mean, what can you do with $2 million a month? Okay, so the next one, Washington Times, Trump says he'll release the John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and I guess probably the RFK assassination files immediately.
Starting point is 00:48:35 And then he appeared on Fox News with Sean Hannity, and he said, I'm going to release them. Let's watch. Will you investigate these assassination attempts? And you stated that you will release the files, all of the files, as it relates to the JFK assassination. And by the way, this is his desk. Yeah, that's right. This is where John Ken and Little John Ken. That's a movable door. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:01 It's a little door there. That's where John John was. John John, yeah. And RFK and also Martin Luther King Jr. And that you will be transparent. This was going to happen in the first term. So many people have asked me to do that. And I did it with Kennedy to an extent.
Starting point is 00:49:22 But I was asked by some of our government officials not to. And, you know, you have to respect them. I was actually asked by Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State, not to. And I felt he knew something that maybe, you know, when he asks you not to, you sort of say, why? And he felt that it was just not a good time to release him and uh you might ask him why maybe maybe he'll deny that even but he did he asked me and some others also though they didn't want
Starting point is 00:49:55 the kennedy stuff released and they're professionals and i respect them and they're working for me and the country they're working for the country and so i didn't release but i'm going to release them immediately upon getting we're going to see the information we're looking at it right now so doc you're getting word right now that he has signed the documents that says according to the daily mail here uh this is breaking news trump orders the release of the final classified JFK assassination documents. Is this really happening? Well, I'd like to see what's being released. I don't want it to be 98% redacted.
Starting point is 00:50:38 I expect some redaction, but don't tease me like this. Why do we have to have any redaction? Well, I agree. Should our government have any? 60 years old. Did our government have any role in it? So, I mean, you know, I realize that every one classified documents that are released, they usually end up with some redactions.
Starting point is 00:51:01 But 60 years, guys. I mean, do we still have classified files on Lincoln? I mean, how long is too long? But let's see what's actually being released here. Well, let's take a look. This is Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchette, and he's alluding to MKUltra. Yes. Here he is.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Because the American public would say, why are you covering this up? I guess you could say, why are they still covering up Kennedy, the Kennedy assassination? There's nothing there. I mean, it's been over 50 years. Everybody's dead.
Starting point is 00:51:36 This is about power. It's about control. It's about money. It's about greed and corruption. And that's what runs this country right now. And that's a disgrace. It's not the same video I watched. He was actually talking about MKUltra. The one I watched today, he was going into MKUltra that the CIA was programming the
Starting point is 00:51:59 minds of people to be triggered by, you know, trigger words to carry out actions. And I absolutely believe that exists. Another appointment today, Brent Bozell, named the head of the U.S. Agency for Global Media, which is a propaganda agency, Voice of America and so forth. But Brent Brazell, this is an excellent choice. I agree. I mean, he's been around for a very, very long time. A thorn under the side of the news media.
Starting point is 00:52:41 Yes. Donald Trump says, I'm pleased to announce that Brent Brazell will serve as the next CEO of the United States Agency for Global Media. That includes like Voice of America and Radio Free Europe, things like that. As founder and president of the Media Research Center for 38 years, few understand the global media landscape and print television online better than Brent. He and his family have fought for the American principles of liberty, freedom, equality, and justice for generations. And he will ensure that message is heard by freedom-loving people around the world. Brent will bring some much-needed change to the U.S. agency for global media.
Starting point is 00:53:18 I met Brent Boesel at NRB one year. Did you? He's a really very nice guy. And he's just as genuine in person as he is. He's the founder of the Media Research Center. Yes. It's a conservative organization that is kind of a watchdog on the news media. Next one, Donald Trump said MSNBC should not have a right to broadcast.
Starting point is 00:53:43 Now, that's getting pretty close, Doc, to censorship. And I can't stand MSNBC. Right. In fact, Donald Trump calls it MSDNC, like Democratic National Committee. And he had this on True Social. He said MSDNC is even worse than CNN. They shouldn't even have the right to broadcast only in America.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Well, I don't think you're going to have to shut MSNBC down. They're going to die out pretty quickly here anyway. Someone's going to buy MSNBC because MSNBC has it on the auction block. Why would you buy it? What are you going to do with it? Sell fake jewelry.
Starting point is 00:54:26 You know, whatever. But even, it's a dying news channel on a dying platform. Yes. Cable. Cable is dying. So you're getting two death gurgles. You're buying a leftist news channel that's dying, and its main distribution is
Starting point is 00:54:47 cable television that is dying. People are cutting the cable so fast, massive flight from cable television. Right. But anyhow,
Starting point is 00:55:02 Mr. Trump said they shouldn't even be allowed. Now, the next one, while we're talking about dying media, Hollywood reporter Mark Thompson, the guy who's running CNN, announced there's going to be a new subscription-based CNN. And he made this announcement as he announced layoff of like 200 people. So their viewership has plummeted. Right. Their revenue has dropped like 50% in that lawsuit. Yes. In discovery, it came out that their revenue had dropped from like a billion dollars a year down to 400 million. Yes, a 60% drop in like three years, something like that. And so he's laying off his employees.
Starting point is 00:55:51 Their revenue is down. Their audience viewership is down. And he comes up with a brilliant idea. Hey, let's charge a subscription. So if I don't want to watch cnn and it's free why would i why would i pay for for it i don't want to watch it when it's free but apparently they've come up with this idea that maybe what will solve their problem is a subscription now what would solve your problem Is if you went out of business Or you just Report the truth
Starting point is 00:56:27 Just go back to being a news channel It used to be called The cable news network Just go back to being A news channel But they can't because they're so Invested in their politics But doc their politics lost
Starting point is 00:56:44 This is where these guys, Doc, their politics lost. This is where these guys are in trouble. Their politics lost. And you see other outlets like the New York Times, the L.A. Times, others that are making that transition. You know, they're trying to make that transition because they looked at the dollars and cents. Mm-hmm. I said, if we're going to survive.
Starting point is 00:57:04 Bezos looked at the dollars and cents. In other words. And forget the guy out in L.A. Times. He looked at the dollars and cents. Bezos looked at the dollars and cents. And I forget the guy out in LA Times. He looked at the dollars and cents and said, we can't afford to do this. They made a decision that Trump derangement syndrome was a losing business model. That if they continued it for four more years, they would be out of business. I got a few minutes. I want to go over World War III very quickly. Politico, will Europe send troops to post-war Ukraine?
Starting point is 00:57:34 Talks about European peacekeepers have started in earnest. No one's figured out how to move the conversation forward. Franz Stephan Gatti, Austrian former military planner, said this is the most critical decision Europeans will have to make in 2025. Politico goes on to say that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said his country would play a full role in any potential peacekeeping force for Ukraine, while French President Macron said Europeans need to build security guarantees. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Budris didn't rule out sending troops to Ukraine. Now, this next one is the paragraph I want you to really hear. Current negotiations are focusing on putting together a deterrence force of up to 50,000 troops from five to six European countries
Starting point is 00:58:33 that would police a demarcation line between Ukrainian and Russian forces in the event of a ceasefire. According to a separate European security official, the British and the French have already started some preliminary planning. You can plan all you want to. You can plan. There is no way. The Russians are going to say, you've just given us 50,000 targets. Yes. We will kill every one of them.
Starting point is 00:59:01 I mean, the whole problem was, at the beginning, we don't want NATO in Ukraine. And now your solution is let's put NATO in Ukraine. Exactly. The Russians aren't drunk. They're not crazy. The Europeans are crazy. They're drunk on something. But the Russians are sitting there going, you people are nuts.
Starting point is 00:59:21 What do you think we've been doing? That's a non-starter for them. What do you think we've been doing for three years? You can park them on the border of Romania, Poland, wherever, but not Ukraine. On their border. They want to put them on the border with Russia.
Starting point is 00:59:35 Yes. So, it's going to be very interesting to see how Mr. Trump handles this. I don't like the way he has started. I think it's a wrong approach. His approach with Davos, the global elite, yeah, I love it. Push them around.
Starting point is 00:59:54 They don't have any nukes. Putin's got nukes. You can shove somebody around. You can be a bully with somebody that's half your size and unarmed. Somebody whips out a shotgun? You better watch what you're doing. Newsweek. Putin abruptly leaves on-air
Starting point is 01:00:16 television meeting to take an urgent international call. Nobody knows who called him. We assume it was Donald Trump. We got a video and Doc's going to read Putin's words. He'll do the English translation of what Putin said on live Russian television. I'm sorry in advance, but I must conduct an international telephone conversation. So during the report by Svetlana Vyacheslavovna, I will be forced to step away from the screen for five minutes.
Starting point is 01:00:59 But please do not stop. Keep working. I will talk on the phone and come back to my workplace. Please continue. It wasn't a national speech. He was talking to he was talking to I guess to Russian
Starting point is 01:01:14 government officials? Yes. It was a conference call. I'm sorry. I thought it was like a national television show. But it was being recorded and streamed. Yes. But the purpose wasn't like an address to the nation. So they got a call that came in and he said, I've got to step away for five minutes.
Starting point is 01:01:31 So there's only two people that could call, an international call, that he would need to step away from. That's either Xi Jinping of China or Donald Trump of the U.S. No, there's a third one. Who would you say? Mr. Petroshev. Yeah, but that wouldn't be international. You could just call him down the hallway. All right.
Starting point is 01:01:54 The next one, Newsweek. Russian schools training children to shoot guns. Imagine that. I wonder why the Russians are doing that. You think they're telling the kids, NATO's coming to kill us. They're coming to kill mommy and daddy. And you're going to have to defend yourself if they shoot mommy and daddy. That's what they're telling the kids.
Starting point is 01:02:24 They're in a war mindset. They're training the entire country to fight NATO. They're convinced NATO is coming for them. And their attitude is we're going to kill every NATO person that crosses the line. And high school students have to graduate after passing a course called Fundamentals of Security and Defense, Rick. That's a mandatory course. Yes.
Starting point is 01:02:52 Military training, Fundamentals of Military Knowledge. That's a module in Russian schools. Also, children beginning at age 14 attend a training camp. And if you don't send them, they'll find the parents. The parents, yes, will be issued a fine if they don't go to the training camp.
Starting point is 01:03:19 So the Russians are... Was it yesterday or the day before we said the Russians know that they have five, seven, eight years to train an entire generation to fight the war? Right. And so now they're looking at junior high and high school students. Five years from now. They'll be ready for the war. That's right.
Starting point is 01:03:39 I'm going to show you two videos. Just give you an idea of what's happening in Russia. If you think I'm BS-ing here about World War III, I want you to see how deadly serious the Russians are. They are not going to allow NATO to come across that border and take their country. They're willing to fight for their country. Here's the first video. Learn how to kill co-holes, Ukrainians. You'll be practicing. Yes's the first video. Learn how to kill kohols, Ukrainians. You'll be practicing.
Starting point is 01:04:08 Yes, sir. Fight. Yes, sir. So these are kids crawling through the snow. Hurry up. Move your elbows. Ready to fight.
Starting point is 01:04:22 Bam, bam, bam. Cover me. I got your back. Bam, bam, bam. Cover me. I got your back. Bam, bam, bam. Lower, lower. Don't swing your elbows or you'll get shot. You hear me, Kuznets? Yes, sir. Kuznets is ready to fight. Fire. Reloading. Cover me. I've got you. I've got your back. Come on. Come on. Shots fired. Weapons loaded and safety on. Got it, Sokol?
Starting point is 01:04:53 Yes, sir. Ukrainians won't kill themselves. We must do it. How old do you think those boys are? I would guess five, six, seven, eight. I would say five to six. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 01:05:08 And they're crawling in the snow exchanging clips in their rifles. Next one shows children in kindergarten. Yes. So learning to march, learning to be a part of the military. They're holding weapons, Rick. This is kindergarten. They're holding weapons, Rick. This is kindergarten. They're training their children to shoot
Starting point is 01:05:30 American and European and Canadian and British troops that are going to invade Russia. They plan to defend their country. Yes. So by the time they're 18, 19, 20 years old, military service is already, they know what to do. I think the rest of these I'm going to save for tomorrow. They're not going to go stale.
Starting point is 01:06:11 If I hold them 24 hours, it's still World War III. We'll talk about China and World War III tomorrow. Starting point is 01:09:11 Good morning, everybody. Welcome to Morning Manna. We are delighted to have you with us today, and we are in the second chapter of the book of Romans in this January 2025. And today we're going to be studying verses 5 through 11. Tomorrow is Faith Friday. Our topic will be faith because our goal, our purpose in 2025 is to build each other's faith this year. If you will have stronger faith at the end of this year than you do at the beginning of the year. So every Friday is going to be faith Friday.
Starting point is 01:09:51 It's also Holy Communion. So today it's Romans 2 verses 5 through 11, excuse me, 8 through 11. But I'm going to have Doc read back up a few verses and started at verse five so let's pray father you are a wonderful magnificent spectacular Heavenly Father and we praise you and glorify you father we are here eager ready to started. We ask the Holy Spirit to take his seat at the head of the table, direct this morning manna class, teach all of us, Father, the depth of your word in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen.
Starting point is 01:10:35 We are reading from Matthew chapter 2, so if you've got your Bible, please turn there right now. I'll start at verse 5 here of Romans 2. But after thy hardness and in print and heart treasures up thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of god who will render to every man according to his deeds to them who by patient continuance and well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality eternal life but unto them that are contentious and do not obey the truth but obey unrighteousness indignation and wrath
Starting point is 01:11:11 tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that doeth evil of the Jew first and also of the Gentile but glory and honor and peace to every man that worketh good to the Jew first and also to the gentile for there is no respect of persons with god god bless the reading of his word today amen verse 8 but unto them that are contentious and do not obey the truth but obey unrighteousness any indignation and wrath so this verse introduces the concept of contentiousness before the the lesson started those of you who were online doc and i were talking about um you know whether it's important to study hebrew um i would say if you're going to study a foreign language for the bible start with greek learn learn the new testament but the word the Greek word for contentiousness is a Rathia it it means
Starting point is 01:12:29 selfish ambition strife rivalry self-seeking feuding, creating division and factions. Interesting, Doc. It's derived from another Greek word that means a laborer for hire. You're right. What's the connection? I'm trying to think here because I looked at it earlier today. It's that tie-in that you actually are a slave to this. You're stuck with this.
Starting point is 01:13:17 You have bonded yourself to this. You're working for somebody. Right. You're working for the devil. So, again, the Greek word for contentiousness means it's a person that causes division, strife, disputes. But they're working. And those people are self-seeking they're selfish and their selfishness causes division and conflict they stir up trouble
Starting point is 01:13:55 they're contentious the moment they enter the room the atmosphere changes you know anybody you know it'd be a group of people together everything is nice and everybody's friendly and there's a nice atmosphere and then one person enters the room and within five minutes the atmosphere has changed. Oh, yes. All right. They have a contentious spirit. That's an evil spirit that is attached to that person. Now, that person usually thinks it's his or her duty to set everybody straight. The reason you're arguing with him or her is because you're wrong and they're right. And it's their job to tell you how you're wrong and what's wrong with you.
Starting point is 01:14:57 The ministry of correction. Yes. But it's actually an evil spirit. Yes. And it's what I would call a familiar spirit spirit meaning it's been with them so long they become familiar with it to the point that they can't even distinguish that it's there they've merged the evil spirit has merged with their their mind their their being and and that contentious person actually uh won't get rid of it because they don't know how to act without it that's right that's scary
Starting point is 01:15:41 but contentious people at the heart of it are rebels. They resist God's truth to follow their own truth. So they reject God's law. They reject the Holy Spirit. They may not say they're going to reject the Holy Spirit, but they are. They refuse being to submit because the holy spirit is is peaceful a person full of the holy spirit doesn't walk in a room and start a fight
Starting point is 01:16:19 but argumentative contentious people do it and that's a that's an evil spirit that's in that person's life yes because they prioritize their their desires their agenda over not only your desires and your agenda but over God's desires and his agenda their will is the core of their being. They are not submitted to God. And eventually that rebelliousness will lead to complete separation from God. But it's usually incremental over a long period of time and again they don't even know it's happening to them so this contentious spirit is linked
Starting point is 01:17:19 to disobedience it's a deliberate choice to disobey god and obey unrighteousness yes so it and isn't that interesting this phrase that way that it's it's not just disobedience but obeying unrighteousness yeah you don't really think about it in that same you always think in terms of being disobedient to god what does it mean to obey unrighteousness what does that mean to obey unrighteousness that you have now made a choice to be unrighteous you've made a clear choice to walk away from god that's what i see here rick yes doc it's it's not a passive act it's a conscious deliberate Rebellion against God and again at the heart of it is Rebellion and stubbornness stubborn people you know refusing to submit to god uh holding on to their will holding on to control
Starting point is 01:18:31 of their life but that kind of unrighteousness that rebellion that people choose over truth eventually leads to their destruction. Yes. The ending is not good. God's wrath, his indignation, are just responses to this kind of rebellion. And so this is the message god is justified a rebellious person's disobedience persistent rebellion persistent uh opposition to god persistent refusal to submit to the Holy Spirit, persistent sowing of discord and division and strife. God says that kind of person deserves the judgment that God then puts on that person.
Starting point is 01:19:44 God is justified in judging that person. So wrath, what is wrath? It's God's punishment of sin. And indignation is his anger towards sin and disobedience yes so indignation is the the the emotional state of god towards sin and disobedience wrath is the outward expression of his disgust and anger with sin and disobedience. Wrath follows indignation. He's indignant first, then he pours out wrath.
Starting point is 01:20:38 But this judgment is certain, it's inevitable, and it is perfectly just. God is justified in judging people who persist in this kind of rebellion over a long time. We're talking years, decades. Only God knows at what point he has to show wrath but it's not like he just one day decides he's he's he's going to deal with somebody no he's he comes to the end where he says i can't deal with this person anymore right so we keep getting back to this recurring theme. People are accountable for their response to God. Every individual is accountable for their acceptance or rejection of God's truth.
Starting point is 01:21:46 The consequences of obedience is receiving God's blessings, and his greatest blessing is eternal life. The consequences of disobedience is becoming the object of his indignation and wrath, and the ultimate wrath is eternal separation from God in the lake of fire. The judgment of God is always impartial. It's based solely on the deeds of the individual. He doesn't use another,
Starting point is 01:22:21 he doesn't use the actions of another disobedient person to judge you right you're judged on your own disobedience and likewise you're blessed on your own obedience now the opposite are the righteous they are in contrast to contentious disobedient rebellious people and so whereas the contentious are marked by rebellion the righteous are marked by submission yes I mean this is this is a easy contrast to visualize on your right hand the righteous they are submitted to god's will
Starting point is 01:23:31 and they are blessed on your left hand are contrast in outcomes the outcome at the end of life at the end of the age eternal life or eternal destruction those are the two choices you know the in the beginning of the church and I don't know how many years a couple hundred years doc just about every preacher had the same sermon. You know, they each had their own spin on it. But the name was Two Ways. That was kind of like the main message of the church. Every preacher knew he had to preach a sermon called two ways. And this is what they told the people.
Starting point is 01:24:37 You have before you two ways, two roads, two highways. You're going to choose one. One will lead to eternal life. One will lead to blessings in this earth and eternal life at the end. The other one will lead to trouble and destruction at the end. That sermon needs to come back. Yeah, it does.
Starting point is 01:25:02 It's such a basic sermon. So easy. It's at the core of the gospel i guess we think we're too sophisticated for such a simple sermon um so what we're seeing here is this verse verse 8
Starting point is 01:25:28 it's pointing us to the final judgment the final day, the day of the Lord where the eternal destinies of every human is decided yes so those who live in rebellion will face god's wrath those who live according to god's truth will receive eternal rewards and the emphasis is on the eternal significance of each person's choices you know and it's it's painful and it's scary doc that
Starting point is 01:26:21 none of us can none of us can control or decide the eternal fate of the people whom we love yes and I'm talking about down to the family level parents, children
Starting point is 01:26:41 uncles, aunts the closest people to you you are not responsible for that person's the end of that person's life and where they end up you can do in this life everything you can to get them in the right direction sure sure but you're not responsible. That is a scary thought, doc. You know, that's a that's a scary thought. And I, you know, we all have, we all have relatives and friends who passed away. And to the best of our knowledge, there was no evidence that they were saved when they passed away. Right. knowledge, there was no evidence that they were saved when they passed away. Right. And that's a difficult thing for people to accept and live with. But once again, as Rick said, you know, they've made a choice.
Starting point is 01:27:41 Now, do we need to be witnesses to them? We need to proclaim Christ. But ultimately, it's them. We need to proclaim Christ, but ultimately it's them. We have the responsibility to go and tell. We can't save them ourselves. That's right. But all you can do
Starting point is 01:28:00 is rest in God's mercy because none of us never ever ever say I know that person is in hell or I know that person is in heaven we don't know you don't know and this is when Jesus said don't judge he wasn't talking about don't point out that that person is living an unrighteous, sinful life. That's not what he's talking about. No, he's talking about their eternal destination.
Starting point is 01:28:29 He's saying don't judge their eternal destination. You don't know and you're not qualified. So it's wrong to say, well, I'll tell you what, the fires of hell lit up when that old rascal arrived. You don't know that. Right. You don't know that right you don't know you know i've talked to people who've told me about relatives who got saved while in a coma the christ came to them in a coma and they got born again in while they were in a coma they came out of the coma saved
Starting point is 01:29:10 that's proof to me that the love of god is so great that he will he'll he'll reach a person even in a state of in a coma state not to allow them to leave this world without salvation so you don't know you just don't know right you know we can do it rest in the lord just it's his decision so that's my personal view is that when Christ comes back I think he wipes I think he wipes our hard drives our brains
Starting point is 01:29:56 I don't think we remember anything after I don't think we're going to remember anything about this earth why would you want to remember it? Right. There'll be no tears in eternity. And the only reason you have tears
Starting point is 01:30:13 is because you remember something sad. So if you're thinking, wow, if I get, I'm with the Lord in New Jerusalem at his coming, and my relatives aren't there. My family members aren't there. I'm going to weep and cry.
Starting point is 01:30:32 No, you're not, because you're not even going to remember them. I know that sounds cold, but that's merciful. It's merciful. And even worse, God's not going to remember them. That's the worst, the worst damnation you can have. Not only are you placed in the lake of fire,
Starting point is 01:30:57 but he, he wipes his memory that he ever made you. Yes. That's terrifying. So God's wrath is just, it is a righteous response to the disobedience of humans. It reflects his holiness and his opposition to sin it's not arbitrary but it is a necessary reaction to the rejection of his truth his grace his mercy mostly most of all his son yes
Starting point is 01:31:50 um it's all about moral choices how is it die you know this the predestined that the whole world be saved yet each individual must make that choice it is his will that the entire human race be saved. He predestinated humankind to be saved. He sent his son for that purpose. And yet at the same time, it is the responsibility of each individual human to make the decision to accept his predestination. It's hard to comprehend. It is. And then you add in God's omniscience too, his all-knowingness.
Starting point is 01:32:59 He knows who will choose him and who will reject him. It's not a surprise to him. He's not like, oh, Doc got saved. It may be a surprise to angels, but it's not a surprise to the father. So that's got to be balanced out too. I guess I'm one of those individuals. I don't see a conflict between the two. To me, it's like we operate on two separate set of rules.
Starting point is 01:33:30 We're in time. We're trapped by time. There'll be a day when time will be no more. But God operates on a different set of rules. It's like saying, I'm playing baseball, but you want me to play by football rules. Well, God has a different set of rules and everything. They're not your rules. Your rules are limited by where you are right now
Starting point is 01:33:58 in this three-dimensional period of time that's going on that had a beginning and will have an end. Outside of that, God has no beginning or end, has all knowledge of everything going on in his realm and in our realm. But at the same time, we are allowed to choose. And so I, I guess I'm one of those, I don't see a conflict. We just operate on two different sets of rules. Yes. And this is,
Starting point is 01:34:32 you know, this is a carnal analogy. I mean, we're talking about eternal life. How do you, how do you come up with an analogy that compares to eternal life? But I'll go back to you know examples i've used before a rich uncle dies he leaves a will his entire state is worth 50 million
Starting point is 01:34:55 dollars he he leaves it to you but it's your responsibility to go down to the courthouse and sign the documents you go through your entire life you never go to the courthouse and sign the documents you never take possession of what was predestinated for you your uncle predestinated you to be wealthy yes but you never took the time or you didn't believe it you had some reason i never really liked that uncle whatever it was you never go over to the courthouse and sign the legal documents to receive the inheritance that's in his testament his will he predestinated you to be blessed but you chose not to walk in the predestination that and individual moral choice yeah and these are just things we have to accept by faith that's you know why because we're not God we don't have the abilities that god does and so um but yeah it's um for for me rick the word of
Starting point is 01:36:30 god makes it clear that we have a choice i mean uh or else what is life what what does it do i just do whatever i want because i'm already condemned. And so the Bible makes it clear, at least from the human perspective, we have a choice. The Word of God makes that clear. Yes, so we'll go to verse 9. Tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first and also the Gentile. Once again, we're talking about the universality of judgment. It's across the board. Nobody gets a break.
Starting point is 01:37:14 Nobody gets a get out of jail free card. Doesn't matter about your race, your religion your your ethnicity nothing it is universal everybody will face god's judgment for their actions there is equal moral responsibility and there is fairness of god's judgment he is not a partial judge he has he doesn't make decisions based on partiality he's a judge that rules by the law and it's his law so tribulation and anguish
Starting point is 01:38:12 these are the inevitable consequences for those who engage in evil these two terms tribulation and anguish, both point to suffering in this world, in this life, and eternal consequences. so there's a external torment internal decay spiritual separation from God and I almost hesitate to you know say this because it's like you got to go off on a deep dive into the subject just so you don't have any misunderstandings but i'm telling you there's a lot of people who are
Starting point is 01:39:17 self-confessing christians church members and stuff who are very very sick because of the sin in their life right i'm not saying all sicknesses is caused by sin that's not what i'm saying the world is full of viruses and germs and bacteria i mean it's everywhere but there are people who have severe sicknesses because of their sin and rebellion. And that's another topic, another lesson. Isn't it interesting, though, Doc, that probably most pastors, when there's somebody in the congregation who is very, very sick for a long, long time, never wants to go there. Yeah. They just keep praying.
Starting point is 01:40:14 I pray the Lord heals you. I pray that you find the right doctor. never lift the hood and say, hey, let's look down inside here and see if there's any hidden sin, any unrepentant sin. And because that starts to become a very delicate, touchy issue then. You're going to have somebody stand up in the pastor's office and say,
Starting point is 01:40:45 how dare you? I came here for prayer. I'm sick and you're accusing me of sin. And they march out and they tell people I'll never go back to that church. Yeah. And what do they do? They go, they take the rebellion.
Starting point is 01:41:01 They go to another church and they start to cycle over again. Right. go they take the rebellion they go to another church and they start to cycle over again right so paul says the jew first then the gentile it was the jews who received god's first. And the Gentiles were without it. And yet they both face equal judgment. So the Jew doesn't get a leg up just because they're Jewish, nor does the Gentile get a pass because they weren't informed.
Starting point is 01:41:50 So both of them are to be judged based on their works. Okay. And that's what this whole passage here makes very clear that to the righteous, your good works, they're good for you. But to the unrighteous, you're not only unrighteous, you not only unrighteous you are pursuing unrighteousness yes so we go back to the theme of what we've seen so far in romans 1 and 2. the jews were given the law so they have no excuse they have the law the gentiles were not given the law, but they can't plead ignorance either. Right. Because God said,
Starting point is 01:42:29 I put knowledge of me in your conscience. I place knowledge and awareness of me in my creation. So the Jews have a written copy of the law but the gentiles have it in their mind in their heart in their eyes in creation yes so it covers everybody um we also we keep seeing this repeated theme personal responsibility for choices the choices have eternal consequences sin leads to inevitable suffering righteous living leads to inevitable eternal life i mean that's what we're seeing here um
Starting point is 01:43:35 so the punishment for sin can not always it can manifest as earthly consequences that can be suffering and god is using that suffering in that person's life to get their attentions to draw them closer to him so he can forgive them of the sins that they've committed. He has to bring them to the place where they admit it. See, they won't admit it because of self-pride, because of stubbornness, rebellion, pride. You try to tell them, hey, you know what you were doing back then?
Starting point is 01:44:25 Look at when this sickness came on you let me remind you what your behavior was at that time usually that kind of person's like don't you dare talk to me like that yeah so it takes the holy spirit only the holy Spirit can bring that person to a place of brokenness where he or she says, Oh, I brought this on myself. Only the Holy Spirit can do it. Again, so God's wrath is not arbitrary. He just doesn't fling judgment around because he's in a bad mood. He sends judgment on people because it's a necessary response to their sin and rebellion.
Starting point is 01:45:39 So God's anger is the result of sins violation of God's divine law it is God's holy opposition to evil that prompts his wrath which is rightfully deserved by those who reject his truth and reject the holy spirit's conviction and they just continue in that rebellion god we're only in the the second part of the second chapter of Romans. Yes. What's waiting for us up ahead, Doc? Some very deep stuff. Paul goes very deep here. By the time we get to chapters 5, 6, and 7,
Starting point is 01:46:23 he has to prepare you for it. We're not in the deep stuff yet. This is just a warm-up? Yeah, this is kind of like the preamble, the introduction. Look, here's the bottom line. People who persistently, stubbornly do evil need to understand
Starting point is 01:46:43 they cannot escape god's wrath just as simple as that whether in this life or in eternity the consequences of sin cannot be avoided that's the message we're getting here right so the certainty of judgment is meant to motivate people to turn from sin what is repentance reap repentance is not saying I'm sorry it's not saying to god oh i got called i'm sorry i won't do that again no and then you just do it again the next day repentance is a change in your mind some people are looking at it repentance means changing your mind yes it means changing your mind from doing sin to doing righteousness. It's saying,
Starting point is 01:47:51 father, you're right. My actions, my thoughts have been sinful. I am going to change the way I think. If I change the way I think I will change the way I speak. I will change the way I think, I will change the way I speak. I will change the way I,
Starting point is 01:48:07 what's in my heart. And then the ways of my hands and my feet will change. It's your hands and your feet that carry you to sin. You can't get over to the bar and get drunk without using your feet that's right you can't lift that whiskey bottle without your hands
Starting point is 01:48:33 so your hands and your feet carry you no one's force feeding it to you nope iv drip There's no IV drip. The purpose of the punishment in this life is to change your mind. We're seeing the theme in Romans chapter 2 what awaits the righteous glory, honor, immortality
Starting point is 01:49:10 what awaits the unrighteous eternal damnation anguish, suffering the obedient are rewarded Anguish. Suffering. The obedient. Are rewarded. Yes. The disobedient are punished.
Starting point is 01:49:33 Right. They're also rewarded according to their sin. According to their deeds. So. I would say. God's justice is the central theme in this verse that the punishment of the punishment for sin is just and deserved and nobody can accuse God of unjustly punishing them because everybody is judged according to their actions and choices according to his law yes um let's get down to i want want to finish today. Verse 10. But glory, honor, and peace to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile.
Starting point is 01:50:34 Yes. So, there are clear. The rewards of glory, and peace are universal the rewards they are there they are used to say the entire human race. It's universal, the entire human race. The blessings of God are not reserved for one specific ethnic group. And that is a powerful lie that's preached today in churches. These evangelical Christian Zionist churches are actually telling Christians that they
Starting point is 01:51:36 are basically subhuman, inferior. They are inferior in God's plan. Right. And they'll teach that to their people too. Yes.
Starting point is 01:51:55 They're not teaching them that the Christians are out of God's plan. They're saying you are inferior in God's plan. Yes. They're teaching you are inferior in God's plan. Yes. They're teaching a superiority doctrine that Jews, even outside of the church house, you know, just the fact that they're Jews, that they are superior in God's economy, in God's plan. And Gentiles, even though they're saved, are, by necessity, they have to be inferior. Well, who came up with that doctrine?
Starting point is 01:52:34 Because I'll tell you what, the Lord Jesus Christ didn't teach it. The Holy Spirit didn't teach it. None of the apostles taught it. This is written by Paul. He was a Jew. He's not teaching it but it's a it's a damnable lie that has been infiltrated into the american evangelical churches
Starting point is 01:52:57 and this is why you have so many evangelical christians who want to be jews they're jews they want to be a jew why well you're blessed if you're new that's right you get first in line that's what they're that's what they believe what they've been indoctrinated with it's a lie from hell everything in romans is telling you these rules apply to everybody, Jews and Gentiles. The glory and honor are the highest forms of recognition
Starting point is 01:53:39 and approval from God. I think this is glory and honor not for god but for you yes the promise from god to you for obedience is glory and honor because it's it's the rewards are reflecting god's approval for your righteous living and this this is an eternal status granted by God to the righteous the ultimate approval when your life comes to an end is to be given glory and honor. You know, Doc, I don't know how, I don't know what the protocol is when you leave this world.
Starting point is 01:54:39 You know, you're escorted, your soul is escorted. Christ does not leave you on your own to find your way to his presence. When you leave this body, it's not like, okay, soul, you got to find your way home. No. No, the Scripture teaches absent from the body, present with the Lord. It doesn't even give any sort of hint to a transition. It's just that when you leave your body, you're with the Lord.
Starting point is 01:55:21 Somehow, Doc, see a an escort you have you transition from this world to the next world there's there's a you know there's a golf that you have to cross over but you're escorted when you arrive when you arrive in the presence of the lord that does he individual does he individually meet every single person who arrives every hour of the day is he greeting every single person is he at the gate himself or are you escorted to his presence what's it like I don't know I just know that you're given glory and honor. All right. So whatever it is, when you show up, the angels see glory and honor over your head.
Starting point is 01:56:40 Yes. And it's if you you know if you've ever been in a a five-star hotel where you're being given um vip treatment you're just escorted you're just everything's done for you. That's the way it is. The angels, hey, come this way. I see God has bestowed glory and honor on you. We'll take you to all the other people who have glory and honor. Because it's divine recognition. We're living your life according to God's will.
Starting point is 01:57:28 Glory, honor and peace. Peace with God. It's peace. Beyond understanding. Right perfect peace perfect peace it's beyond a peace that's beyond understanding uh the recurring theme in these verses is that moral actions, good works, obedience to God's will, are the basis for receiving rewards. The three rewards we were just told
Starting point is 01:58:16 are glory, honor, and peace. You can't be born into it, but you can be be born into it but you can be born again into it praise God isn't that cool you can't be born into eternal life but you can be born again
Starting point is 01:58:40 you know when when the homosexuals say look I was born this way typically Christians go into an argument no you weren't you weren't born that way no my attitude is yeah you were yeah you were born in sin you were born in sin you were born in sin you need to be born again I'm not going to argue with you that you were born that way I'll say you were yeah but I was born in the head of sexual sin and I had to be born again that's right you're just born in a homosexual sin you got to be born again go back and come out again you come out right the second time then they don't know what to do
Starting point is 01:59:40 because you've taken away their argument taking away their excuse well i have to i have to live like this because i was born this way no i was born a sinner too then the argument that what they want you to believe is that the sin is is legitimate right that's that the heart of it there. That's what's wrong. The verse has a promise and a warning. There's a call to repentance. To those who have not yet chosen the path of righteousness. And glory and honor and peace
Starting point is 02:00:35 are not just for this life, but for, it's for eternity. You keep the glory, the honor, and the peace forever. It can never be taken away. And I want to emphasize that the peace means it's not just the absence of conflict. It is the ultimate peace that comes from reconciliation with God.
Starting point is 02:01:10 There is no conflict between you and God. That's the peace it's talking about. One more verse. For there is no respect of persons with God. So Paul's finishing up these verses. One more verse. For there is no respect of persons with God. So Paul's finishing up these verses with one more time saying, if I didn't get this across to you earlier, this applies to everybody. Yes. No favoritism based on ethnicity, social status, financial status, nationality, nothing.
Starting point is 02:01:52 This applies to everybody. God's justice is universal and equally applied to all. Doc, you have any final words? No, I think Paul's made the case here that both Jews and Gentiles are without excuse. All will be judged fairly and righteously. You don't get an advantage by being a Jew, nor do you get an advantage by being a Gentile either. You can't claim preference if you're Jewish. You can't claim ignorance if you're a Gentile.
Starting point is 02:02:33 And we are all judged on our works. But that means, and we're going to find out about this in chapter 3, if we're all judged by our works, none are righteous no not one and that means both jews and gentiles are in need of a savior we'll learn more about that as we advance further along in chapter 2 and get into chapter 3. chapter 3 is when paul lays down the hammer and says you know what we're all condemned every one of us he hasn't he hasn't laid the hammer and says, you know what? We're all condemned, every one of us. He hasn't laid the hammer down yet? Not yet.
Starting point is 02:03:10 Chapter 3, he lays the hammer down. Then he pats your head a little bit in Chapter 4, and then he starts back up again in 5. One other thing I want to say is there is a doctrine out there. Hopefully, I don't think any of you have toyed around with it. It's been floating around for years. You go on the Internet, you can find it. Just as there is a false doctrine that Jews have a racial superiority, and that's wrong there are also people
Starting point is 02:03:49 who teach that white Caucasians have a superiority because because it goes back to the Jewish thing again they will say they are the rightful descendants of the lost tribes of israel right the old anglo-israelism doctor yes and i don't know if you've ever encountered that doctor in british israelism i never heard of a doc until uh i i started in this ministry people were trying to convert me to this saying where in the world did come up with this idea yeah there were several major groups that you know uh promoted that especially Herbert W Armstrong and Worldwide Church of God uh they're not as prominent today as they used to be but they really put this out they're the ones that wrote uh plain truth magazine yes and nearly everybody has seen plain truth magazine
Starting point is 02:04:46 if you're above the age of 40. but at the heart of it is racism that's right that there's a preference there's a preference that white caucasian people who accept christ have been predestined by god because they are the lost tribes of Israel. Right. In other words, they're Jews. They're Jews. That's what it's going back to. All right.
Starting point is 02:05:13 It's a false doctrine. Do not listen to it. Don't dabble in it. Don't look at it. It's a lie. And you get online oh man doc some of these people today that are into the white superiority yes they don't believe anybody else can be saved other than white people that is it's such a reprehensible lie you're telling me that my savior only went to the cross for people
Starting point is 02:05:46 of Caucasian race that what a lie and how many Caucasians were around in the Middle East when Jesus died I don't think there were any there of the Romans the Roman, they were Italian, sorry, but nobody else was. It's a sad thing, but you're right, Rick. You'll see that pop up, but now that you're here on the Bible study today, you're going to have discernment on that. When you see it pop up on Fake book or on X or anything like that, you're going to say, I know what that is. Rick and Doc talked about that.
Starting point is 02:06:34 Our goal with Morning Manna is that you are so grounded in the truth, in the word, that when you are exposed to a heresy a false doctrine you immediately receive recognize it and reject it yeah you say hey you're not passing that's a counterfeit you're not giving that to me it's like somebody trying to give you a counterfeit dollar and you go that thing's fake i'm not taking it somebody when the devil is trying to give you a counterfeit doctrine recognize it it's it's not real it's not the genuine the only way you can know the genuine is by studying the the genuine the word of god and then you recognize the fake doctrines that come along. All right, that's it for me.

Starting point is 02:08:32 are we able for tonight? Are we able to take a, a video that we record here today and drop it in tonight? I probably can do that. And so I got an idea. I was just something. All right. But I think we can, if we've got a pre-recorded video,
