TRUNEWS with Rick Wiles - Fire Roasted Shortages: Food Processing Plants Burn Down

Episode Date: April 21, 2022

Empty grocery store shelves has become a familiar sight in many American cities and towns in 2022. Modern Americans have never experienced food shortages. It’s not happening only in the USA. Food sh...ortages are appearing in many countries. The Biden Administration wants people to believe that Vladimir Putin is responsible for the food shortages. They also want to blame him for inflation. Why are there so many shortages of food products in 2022? Even baby formulas and cat food are in short supply in many places. Starting point is 00:00:00 The following program is made possible by the faithful prayers and financial support of listeners just like you. To find out how you can help, visit nothing but the truth, so help us God. I'm Rick Wiles. Empty grocery store shelves have become a familiar sight in many American cities and towns. In 2022, modern Americans have never experienced food shortages. It's not happening only in the USA. Food shortages are appearing in many countries. The Biden administration wants people to believe that Vladimir Putin is responsible for the global food shortages. They also want to blame him for
Starting point is 00:01:00 runaway inflation. Why are there so many shortages of food products in 2022? Even baby formulas and cat food are in short supply in many places. Is the Russia-Ukraine war really the cause of these sudden shortages, or is there a more sinister force at work? Dr Doc Burkhart and I have some things to share with you for your consideration, as always. So, Doc, you've been here long enough. You know the way I look at these things, and I look for patterns. When there are forces that want oil prices to go up,
Starting point is 00:01:46 I've noticed over... There'll be a refinery that catches on fire. Yeah. A tanker that sinks. Yes, you'll start seeing mysterious explosions at oil refineries and so forth. Pipelines blow up and things like that. So are we seeing a similar pattern
Starting point is 00:02:04 at food processing plants? Well, that's a great question because for several weeks now, a couple of months actually, all the various world leaders have been saying prepare for food shortages, prepare for food shortages. When there was no food shortage at the time. And so you're like going, okay, so did they get the script handed to them beforehand and tell them this is what's next on the agenda? You didn't go along with the winter of death scenario,
Starting point is 00:02:37 so now we have to have the summer of starvation. But this time, I think they're really trying to make this thing happen, Rick. They've talked about supply chain issues and things like that, but you've noticed some stories, and we've looked into it throughout the day today. Once again, we just connect the dots. And when we start seeing patterns and we start seeing the same story repeated over and over again, you have to kind of take a step back and say, okay, what's really going on here? So...
Starting point is 00:03:09 Is this just a coincidence that numerous food processing plants have caught on fire? Or is somebody burning down food processing plants? So let's just take a look at some of the stories, give you an idea of what we're talking about. First one is CBS News in San Francisco Bay Area. Salinas fire, massive fire engulfs Salinas food processing plant. Neighborhoods evacuated. Right. So this was just about a week ago that this massive fire, it was no small fire at all. In fact,
Starting point is 00:03:42 you'll see several of these stories where warehouses catch on fire, food plants catch on fire, and they'll mention the story, and the smoke could be seen from space. They'll say that. And I thought, now that's a big fire if you can see it from outer space. Well, this was in the San Francisco Bay Area in Salinas, California. And we have a report from CBS San Francisco. They talk about this. So let's watch this and let's kind of discern
Starting point is 00:04:09 what's going on here. Just to our south, this is in Salinas, a huge fire at a food processing plant. This is for Taylor Farms. And right now there are concerns about a huge plume of ammonia coming from this area. And they have an evacuation in the immediate area as well as a shelter in place all the way out to Highway 68. Now emergency authorities are warning us that they could end up closing down parts of 101 in Salinas.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Again, this is in Monterey County. This food processing plant went up late last night and it's just grown. It looks like it is a total loss right now. We've seen several roofs collapsing. This was in a cold storage processing plant where apparently a welding project sparked a fire in a wall and that eventually spread to the attic of this huge facility. People people or produce were inside the plant, which was actually closed for the season. It was set to reopen on Monday. Well, the thing is not going to reopen. No, it's not.
Starting point is 00:05:14 There's going to be hundreds of people out of work. But more importantly, a hub specifically for the San Francisco Bay Area was basically eliminated there. Another chink, if you will, another broken link in the supply chain. If that was a standalone story, that would be a regional story. That would be something of concern for a local area. That's west coast. Right. So what's on the east coast?
Starting point is 00:05:40 All right. So this is several weeks earlier. And you're going to see a pattern with all these stories here. And that's not Belfast, Ireland. No, it's Belfast, Maine. And crews respond to fire at Belfast, Maine potato processing plant. I didn't know there was a lot of flammable material
Starting point is 00:05:59 at potato plants, but obviously there are. We have a story, this is from News Center Maine, the NBC affiliate up there, and they explain what happened in this particular fire. Firefighters have been busy in Belfast, where the Penobscot McCrum potato plant went up in flames at around 2 a.m. News Center Maine's Alex Haskell has been on the scene all morning, and he joins us now with an update. Alex, what can you tell us? Hey, Pat.
Starting point is 00:06:29 So first responders have put out the fire for the most part. They are working on putting out a couple of hot spots at the moment. No word yet what started the fire, but the good news is no one was hurt. Penobscot McCrum has been on Belfast's waterfront for decades. Belfast City Manager Aaron Herbig says the potato plant is an important source of jobs in the area, employing more than 100 people. Jobs likely now gone after an early morning fire broke out here, shooting thick smoke into the air. We were called to Belfast sometime around 3.30, I think it was, for a fire here at Anopska McRub. A shelter-in-place order for nearby residents was cancelled mid-morning once fears of danger lessened.
Starting point is 00:07:11 But still... Residents are encouraged from gathering near the facility just because of the concern regarding ammonia and chemicals and things like that. So, again, I don't want to alarm anyone, but this is just steps that we need to take right now to make sure that we're keeping people safe. Herbig says many surrounding communities showed up to help fight the fire. Camden, Lincolnville, Morrill, Belmont, Liberty, I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but at times like these in places in rural Maine, our communities band together to support each other. All right, Doug, from Maine, let's go north to Quebec. Yes. So this is reported by CTV News.
Starting point is 00:07:52 And you're going to start noticing a similarity in the patterns here. It's a massive plant, and the fire started when the plant was empty, generally, generally empty. Usually late night, third shift, weekend, a holiday, something like that. They either attribute it to an accident, somebody left welding equipment on, or there was an electrical issue, or it's unknown. And it's generally a complete loss.
Starting point is 00:08:19 And so this is the fire in Quebec. Now, this particular plant provides a hub for the Montreal area. So it's not limited to just things happening here in the United States, but Canada is also experiencing some of these mysterious fires that are popping up at food processing plants, meat packing plants, food distribution centers. And once again, the pattern is the fire starts when there's either a low number of employees or late at night when the place is empty, accident, and then a complete loss. If we can hold off on number seven, it
Starting point is 00:09:00 actually goes down with another one below, Rick. But let's go to Idaho. So Idaho, look at this one, Rick. A plane crashes into a potato and food processing plant, killing the pilot. Subsequently, they've had to shut down the plant for an undetermined amount of time because of the damage that's been done to the facility. Now this is the exception that proves the rule. The plant didn't get completely destroyed,
Starting point is 00:09:25 but in essence, it's useless right now because they can't process food. That one I can accept as a legitimate accident. There's a plane that hit a plant. That's not an explosion. It's not a mysterious fire in the middle of the night. But it added to the woes in the American food supply chain. You've got another potato plant that's out of business. What's next? Well, here's the story. This is out of Arizona. A food pantry with 50,000 pounds of food was destroyed after fire ripped through the Maricopa County food pantry.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Now, this is actually sponsored by a local church there. This was a complete and total loss. And this is, it will take them probably about a year and a half to replace the loss of food that they had. And so this is going to impact people that, you know, are needing, you know, that stopgap food, you know, get them between paychecks or whatever. Families are in transition. And so we're now seeing this. Now, we actually have a report from CBS 5 Arizona that talks about this loss. Being right now a long road to recovery after a massive fire at a local food pantry that feeds more than 1,000 people every week.
Starting point is 00:10:47 The flames there destroyed more than 50,000 pounds of food. David Cotabiano shows us the damage and also the mission to rebuild. The place went up in flames just 15 minutes after their food bank yesterday where they fed hundreds of people. The fire was so powerful and so hot that still today, 24 hours later, smoke is still coming up from the rubble. It had to have been 40, 50 foot in the air. The just pure black smoke engulfed the entire neighborhood. 40 to 50,000 pounds of food up in smoke with the president of Maricopa Pantry, Mike Connolly, helplessly watching it unfold. The heat we could feel down at the corner. Flames shooting into the sky dangerously close to Mountain View Community Church in Maricopa,
Starting point is 00:11:37 where Mike and other volunteers attend and hold food banks for hungry families in need. What hurts the most is the impact on the community around us. I know that a lot of people benefited around here. Maricopa and western Pinal County is a food desert. There's not a lot of food banks and stuff out here. Connolly says investigators still don't know what caused the massive fire, but he and the CEO believe the trailers, filled with more than 100 gallons of diesel fuel for refrigerated food, created an unforgiving fire.
Starting point is 00:12:12 I'll tell you what, I'm pretty numb. Jim Schoaf is the CEO of the nonprofit. He and his wife started it more than 20 years ago. Now Jim's focused on the mission, rebuilding and replenishing food to feed the community. This looks bad but we're not done. We're gonna come out of the rubble. Mike and Jim say things and food can be replaced. All that matters is that there are no injuries and their church is still standing. He saved his house and it's up to us to continue his mission. So that's another story. And Rick, all of these have happened in the past several weeks. So we're not stretching it out
Starting point is 00:12:49 from two years ago or anything. These are all within several weeks. So here's another- Remember the church burnings last year, 2020, when Black Lives Matter and a lot of the leftist radicals were saying they were gonna burn down churches and then churches started catching on fire.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Well, now we have food processing plants catching on fire. Another example, heading back out to the East Coast again. This is also just within the past couple of weeks here. This is at a beef and pork plant in East Conway, New Hampshire. And so this was a fire that lasted for 16 hours. And once again, total loss of the facility. Another food hub, a meat and processing hub in this case.
Starting point is 00:13:33 One of the most dramatic ones that we've seen here recently is this fire at a Walmart distribution center up in Ohio. This was another one of those where they could actually see the smoke from the facility from outer space. That's how massive the show it was. This was a total loss for Walmart. This was a distribution center that served primarily food products for Sam's Clubs over a three-state area.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Wow. And so that means that Walmart now is having to shift its resources. That's creating shortages there. If we go back to a number seven Newsweek reported on this, now this is from back in February when we started to see these pattern of food plant fires start to really ramp up. And so in this particular case, this was once again a facility completely gutted by fire. There were seven people injured in this particular situation in the city of Hermiston talks about this and talks about Shearer Foods having to lay off staff by a plant destroyed by fire. And we actually have...
Starting point is 00:14:52 So this is Oregon. Yeah, current Hermiston, Oregon. And KGW NBC8 has this report. Umatilla County fire crews have braved more than a day of sub-freezing temperatures battling flames at the Shears Food Plant south of Hermiston. Shaking up about it. Corey Harris has been a warehouse worker at the plant for 16 years. We like a big family.
Starting point is 00:15:16 And this loss has a big impact. Shears, it changed a lot in people's lives. Gave them jobs, gave them opportunities to grow. It's a big shock. Byron Smith is Hermiston City Manager. The city is providing space for company leaders to connect with employees and try to figure out what's next. How critical is it to get this company to stay here?
Starting point is 00:15:38 One in 30 jobs in the Hermiston zip code is attributed to Shears Foods. From above, Tuesday, flames and smoke billowed into the air and snapshots from Umatilla County crews showed the dangerous challenge they faced. They believe a boiler powered by natural gas exploded, igniting the fire and destroying the warehouse. At least six people went to the hospital and are now released. I'm so sorry that you and your co-workers are going through that. I know it's a really tumultuous and scary time. Like really getting teary-eyed because of what happened. It was just so sad seeing that happen. Fire has calmed down a lot. As flames subdue, the city now waits for the company's next move.
Starting point is 00:16:21 We have a team on the ground out here to assess the damage, to see what, you know, what if any of the plant can be salvaged. And as brave fire crews put out hotspots Wednesday, another photo showed soaked and charred packages of snack foods produced at the plant strewn on the ground. And workers dedicated to this job, like Corey Harris, wonder.
Starting point is 00:16:43 Where do we turn? Where do we go? So once again, that's just within the past couple of weeks, another fire there. And it's not just limited to supply chain issues regarding people, Rick. Now it's an impact on pet food supplies too. This is a story from the Meadville Tribune in Pennsylvania. No injuries reported in Smucker Pet Food Plant Fire. And first of all, I didn't know today that Smucker's made pet food. I only thought they made jams and jellies, but it turns out they make pet food. This particular plant makes, I don't know if you've seen the Rachel Ray food line and everything. They made that.
Starting point is 00:17:27 They also made dad's dog food there. And some people, you know, buy that a lot. But this particular plant completely, once again, burned to the ground. Accident. Some pet food got stuck in a pipe and it caused a fire. So not even pets are safe from all of this. And internationally, we are seeing reports like this. This is from the Taiwan News. And I see that it's got a different picture there. And so it says early morning fire occurs at South Taiwan Food Manufacturing. That looks like the Walmart. That's the Walmart picture. That doesn't go with this.
Starting point is 00:18:06 But the fact of the matter is there was a major food plant that was a supplier for bread products in the city of Taiwan. The major bread supplier, one of their distribution warehouses, caught fire, burned to the ground ground caused the fire unknown once again and so we could actually spend the entire hour today talking about all the fires at food processing and meat packing plants since the first of the year I just limited it to the past several weeks or so just to give you a glimpse, they really only started talking about these food shortages and food supply problems back in March.
Starting point is 00:18:50 And now you're seeing all these different food processing plants, meat packing plants, and so many others. And I bet if, we've got some sharp-eyed and sharp-eared viewers and listeners out there, I bet if you start looking around, you'll find a whole lot more. Absolutely. So it's either just a string of bad luck for food processing plants. Right. You know, stuff happens or somebody's burning them down. Which one is it? I lean
Starting point is 00:19:21 towards somebody's burning them down. I mean, it's just so convenient. It's the same pattern. That's what gets me. A massive facility, accident occurs. Late at night. Late at night or limited time period, low employees. And not a small fire. It burns the whole place down.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Right. I mean, burns it to the ground where you're seeing the fire from outer space. I mean, that's a big fire. And I think you're going to see more of these. So the question does remain, as you asked, what is going on here? Is there a plan to disrupt the food supply by burning down food processing plants?
Starting point is 00:19:59 I know it sounds radical. It sounds crazy. But look at the pattern, though. No, it doesn't sound radical radical and it doesn't sound crazy. It sounds like the method that the globalists have used for decades to disrupt the world. They have to have chaos. They have to have ways to control the population. It it was Catherine Bertini, I think Bertini,
Starting point is 00:20:29 I mentioned yesterday on a program from the United Nations, the early 2000s, I think her name was Bertini, is the one who said, food is power. We use it to change behavior. And that's precisely
Starting point is 00:20:42 what the globalists are doing. I mean, Fauci has admitted that the lockdowns and the mandates were meant to punish people, to force them to accept the gene therapy injections, change behavior. Not to fix you, not to create health, but to change your behavior change your behavior that's right so they're upset the globalists are upset people resisted their takeover with covet it didn't work it worked for about half of the society the other half resisted and ignored them um so now they're going to take it to another level they They're going to try to starve you out. What explains the sudden shortage of baby formula? When has baby formula ever been in short supply?
Starting point is 00:21:36 That's a great question, Rick, because, I mean, there's only so many components in baby formula. And there's only so many manufacturers that do it. Not just here in the U.S., but globally. Have any of them burned down? I haven't looked at that pattern. I need to see how those plants are growing or see if any of them had been shut down. Pet food. Why is there a shortage
Starting point is 00:21:58 of pet food? Because pet food plants are burning down. Are pets eating more food lately? Is it a supply and demand and pets are hungrier than they were last month i mean this stuff doesn't make sense i you know the uh the covid folks would say well people stayed at home more so they had more pets remember everybody was getting a dog or a cat to keep them company while they're locked up so therefore we're eating more dog food. And so it's crazy.
Starting point is 00:22:27 I don't believe it. Hey, but if you hear of stories out there related to any kind of food supply or anything like that, we'd love to hear from you about it. Just email info at truenews.com. Yes. We're going to change the topic to here in Florida. And the Florida legislature did something that the news media and the leftist political pundits did not think that they would dare do.
Starting point is 00:22:54 And this is it. They stripped the Disney Corporation of its self-governing status. Now, here in Florida, most people don't know this around the nation, but Disney World, the land that it sits on, Disney World actually is its own government. Yes. It is not in any county in the state of Florida. It is its own governing territory. Right. So Disney Corporation, they don't have to worry about health inspectors coming on the property. They don't have to be concerned about building codes
Starting point is 00:23:33 and building inspectors coming on Disney World property and checking anything. They don't have to worry about it. They have their own police force. They have their own fire department. They have their own traffic management system for all the parks, including all the hotels, not even owned by Disney, all around the
Starting point is 00:23:55 parks. So they've managed that for about 40, 45 years, if I remember the dates right. It goes back to the mid-70s right after the Florida legislature passed this about a year after Disney died I think. So they've always had this self-governing mechanism here in the state of Florida. Well Disney Corporation, which is now run by pedophiles and pro-pedophiles and people that think it's okay to molest children and a company that prides itself on producing media content that indoctrinates little children to become sexual perverts. That's Disney today.
Starting point is 00:24:43 Yes. And so the state of Florida, led by Governor DeSantis, said, "'If you're gonna behave that way, "'we're gonna strip away your special perks "'that you have in this state.'" And so the state legislature voted to repeal, to rescind the law that gave Disney Corporation its self-governing status.
Starting point is 00:25:06 And this is no slight thing. This is a big deal. You better believe it's big. It's like fighting a 500-pound mouse. I mean, this is, because Disney employs tens of thousands of people in the state. Disney did not think
Starting point is 00:25:22 politicians in Florida would dare challenge him. And we've got to face facts. Disney owns a lot of politicians here in the state and controls a lot of politicians here in the state. So the vote went to the legislature today, and as the vote was going on, we actually have video of the vote going on.
Starting point is 00:25:42 I want you to listen to the Democrats in the chamber that literally are screaming. I mean, no, I'm not joking about this. They're literally screaming demonic screams, it seems like, Rick. All right. So let's set the stage in case you don't know about this. Florida has a state law that prohibits schools from indoctrinating little children, first grade, second grade. Prohibits those schools from indoctrinating them about homosexuality and transgenderism and all this kind of stuff. It's a state law. It says, you know, you shouldn't do that to little children. So the homosexual lobby and the news media and the Democratic Party
Starting point is 00:26:27 called it the don't say gay bill. It doesn't say that. Everybody knows it doesn't matter how many times you say that. It doesn't matter because the propaganda has declared that's what the bill says. Now, what the bill says is homosexuals can't indoctrinate innocent little children to become homosexuals. All right. Like the adult perverts. Right. That's what it says. Okay. It's kind of like, you know, in Russia, how Putin said, you can be gay and in, in Russia, but you just can't indoctrinate children. And so they went after Putin. Right. Okay. That's all Florida did. They just told Disney, well, they didn't tell Disney. Disney came out against the law and denounced the state of Florida for doing it. So Florida politicians told Disney, okay, if you want to, you want to attack us in our efforts to defend
Starting point is 00:27:22 the innocent children of Florida, then we're going to strip away your self-governing benefits that you have in this state. You'll just be treated like every other corporation. You'll pay taxes. You'll have inspectors. You'll have to meet code. You won't have any special rights. And that's exactly what the legislature did. So this video that you're going to see is from the Florida legislature. And the screaming is from the demoniac Democrats who are outraged that somebody would actually stand up and oppose their perversion. Let's watch it. And we will vote on these two bills. It is my hope that we will be able to proceed civilly and with decorum and with respect for one another.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Read the next bill. By Senator Bradley, Senate Bill 4C, a bill to be entitled an act recognized to explain your bill. Thank you, Mr. Speaker. It seems as Mickey and Minnie have joined us in the chamber today. That said, this is the bill that we discussed yesterday. Members, we will either go into structured debate or we will call the previous question. Representative Renner, you're recognized for a motion. Mr. Speaker, I move the previous question on the bill.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Representative Renner moves the previous question on the bill. This motion is not debatable and requires a majority vote. All in favor say aye. All opposed, no. Show if motion passes, we will now proceed to call the previous question. The clerk will unlock the machine, and members will proceed to vote on Senate Bill 4C. Have all members voted?
Starting point is 00:29:17 Have all members voted? Clerk will lock the machine. Announce the vote. 78 days, 38 days, Mr. Speaker. Show the bill passes. Congratulations, Florida State Legislature. Clerk will lock the machine. Announce the vote. 78 days, 38 days. Show the bill passes. Congratulations, Florida State Legislature. I'm very proud of you.
Starting point is 00:29:34 And I'm very proud to be a citizen of the state of Florida. It wasn't a hair's breadth vote, was it? It was an overwhelming vote. But that, the weird chanting and yelling by the Democratic legislators simply proves to me that Democrats are neither fit to govern nor capable of governing. They're so whacked out in their ideology, they can't contain themselves anymore. They have no decorum. They have no sense of dignity. If you don't agree with them, they act like idiots. Right.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Like little kids not getting their treat when they expect it. It just shows that their arguments have failed so much that they have to resort to these theatrics in order to try to get their way. So what we're seeing now is a pushback against the extreme left. And I really believe that the 2020s is going to turn out to be a decade of conservatism in the United States. On the surface, it just didn't seem like that's possible, but I believe the pendulum is going to swing and it's going to swing far. People are fed up with the craziness, people losing jobs because they won't refer to a man in a dress as a woman. It's just crazy stuff. The worst that they're doing of
Starting point is 00:31:07 injecting hormones in little children to change their sexual gender. I mean, it is child abuse. It is child abuse, Doc. It's nothing short of that. And it's insanity. And someday civilized civilizations far in the future are going to look back at this country in the 2020s and say, what in the world was happening in that country in the 2020s? You know, so many people express concern about monopolies, saying some companies are just too big, like Amazon's and Facebook's or Disney or something like that.
Starting point is 00:31:44 But really, Rick, there is a monopoly that's in place now that no one really fights against, but now you're beginning to see cracks in the wall with actions like this, and that's that ideological monopoly. It's not limited to one single company or organization or movement. It's that same way of thinking. The same thinking that you have at Disney is the same thinking you have over at Twitter or you have over at Facebook. YouTube or Google.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Or Google. It's the same thinking. They may be different industries, but their ideological bent is driving their various agendas and various products. And they're determined to make you think like them. Right.
Starting point is 00:32:25 And if you won't, they will shut you down. Yes. But it's time for us to flip that around and shut them down. That's right. So resist it, laugh at them, ignore them, and go on with life. It is time to push back. And we're seeing it here in the state of Florida. Governor Ron DeSantis is leading the way. In this election this year, I believe he is the number one target of the left to defeat this year. I believe more will be done in Florida than any other state. They despise Ron DeSantis. He is not going to lose re-election in this state in a fair election. A lot of people are going to be watching the elections this year. Democrats are going to have to be extremely good at cheating this year.
Starting point is 00:33:16 A lot of people are going to be watching. In the state of Colorado, it used to be a very conservative Rocky Mountain state. It is now a leftist state led by a far-left governor. And I think he's gay, isn't he? I don't recall. I think so. I think he is. You can check.
Starting point is 00:33:41 If I'm wrong, I'll correct myself while you check it out. But he wants Disney to move its headquarters. He is. He is homosexual. Yes. Okay. So he's pro-perversion. That's it.
Starting point is 00:33:55 He's a pro-perversion Democrat. And he wants Disney, which is a perverted corporation. And he had a Jewish gay wedding. Yes. So he wants to move Disney to Colorado. Yes. So he's real proud of Disney's perversion of children. He's real proud of it.
Starting point is 00:34:18 And he says, you come to Colorado and we'll let you pervert children all day long. Well, Governor Jared Polis offered up Colorado as a new home to both Disney and Twitter on Tuesday after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis escalated his criticisms of both companies. DeSantis said he was looking for ways to hold Twitter's board of directors accountable in the wake of news of the board's poison pill plan to stop the acquisition of the social media platform by Elon Musk. The Florida governor has also proposed to dissolve the special tax status for Disney World and has been in place for 55 years in retaliation to the entertainment giant's opposition to what critics have dubbed the state's don't say gay law.
Starting point is 00:35:03 In response, Paulus tweeted that the two companies could find a home in Colorado rather than dealing with Florida's authoritarian socialist attacks on the private sector. We actually have an image of that tweet. Where has Governor DeSantis practiced socialism? That was my question. Actually, what he's doing is he's practicing free enterprise. He's telling Disney, we're ending your corporate socialism.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Right, and he's saying, what authoritarianism has he produced? The vote was made by representative legislature, not by Governor Ron DeSantis. There's no socialism being practiced here. And like you said, the only socialism that's being practiced is corporate socialism. That's right. They're getting special perks. Right.
Starting point is 00:35:53 So now- And they're being allowed as a corporation to set their own laws. So now they can't. They're going to be treated like every other company in the state of Florida. Right. And I hope the building inspectors go in of Florida. Right. And I hope I hope the building inspectors go in and start shutting things down. I hope health inspectors go in and shut down their restaurants. I mean, life is going to change at Disney World starting tomorrow. Yes. They're no longer able to protect themselves from the outside world. So they asked for it.
Starting point is 00:36:26 They deserve it. They got it. And hats off to Governor DeSantis. Well, this is part of a pattern for Governor Paulus out of Colorado. Rick, this image is what gets me. This is a bill guaranteeing abortion access in Colorado. So here he is signing that abortion bill. Look at all the smiles, Rick.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Of course, if you're not going to pervert the children, then kill them. Look at the smiles. We get to kill unborn children. That's the Democratic Party. They pervert children and they murder children. So while abortion has been legal in Colorado for decades, guaranteed access to the procedure was not technically state law until now. Governor Jared Polis signed House Bill 1279, known as the always-called Reproductive Health Equity Act, into law April 4th of this year. Democrats in Colorado and the Colorado legislature passed the bill March 23rd. codifies protections for the full range of reproductive care, including abortions, and makes it so that a fertilized egg, embryo, or fetus does not have personhood rights
Starting point is 00:37:32 under Colorado law. But, you know, egg, embryo, fetus, how about calling it baby? Yes. It's a baby. And under the Democrats' regime, babies aren't humans. Simple as that. The devil is such a liar.
Starting point is 00:37:49 Continues to call it reproductive care. Well, if it's care for reproduction, shouldn't there be reproduction then? The baby should be born. I mean, I'm all for giving vitamins for babies in the womb. I'm all for pediatric care. I'm all for it. But their definition of reproductive care means let's dig it out of the mother's womb and sell the parts on the market. run the Democratic Party are now going to make another attack on American businesses to force
Starting point is 00:38:26 them to do things that their consciences object to. We saw this under Obamacare, where Obamacare forced companies to provide abortion services in their health care policies to employees. So now Biden is going to force private companies to provide for sex change services, to transition from one gender to another. And you're going to have to pay for it if you're an employer. They're calling this Hobby Lobby 2.0 because during the Obamacare era,
Starting point is 00:39:04 the Hobby Lobby 2.0, because during the Obamacare era, the Hobby Lobby fought against the implementation of having to provide health care for certain people within the organization. They're a private company. They can really do what they want. But Obama tried to force their way. So now they're trying to force trans care. That's the new term, trans care. So two-planned Biden administration, so a two-pronged attack here. They're trying to force trans care. That's the new term, trans care.
Starting point is 00:39:28 So two-pronged attack here. Obamacare rule changes regarding gender transition procedures are expected to lead to major legal battles over transgender rights and religious freedom. The administrative proposals, which could be finalized within months, come about a year after President Joe Biden took office promising to reverse Trump administration rules which could be finalized within months, come about a year after President Joe Biden took office, promising to reverse Trump administration rules concerning sex and gender and to implement new anti-discrimination protections for transgender people.
Starting point is 00:39:55 Now, the first is a notification issued by the Biden administration that it will update Obamacare civil rights provisions. So they're finding new civil rights, Rick, to clarify that prohibitions against discrimination on the basis of sex apply to sexual orientation and gender identity. So another would require that certain health care plans include coverage of gender transition procedures in certain circumstances.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Now, these new measures put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services would be in the spirit of Biden's day one executive order for combating discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. But religious liberty advocates say the policies are likely to infringe on conscious rights and predict that they would lead to major court battles. There's gonna be a massive conflict like a crisis of conscience and religion for these organizations that don't want to be complicit
Starting point is 00:40:53 and participate in this, said Rachel Morrison, a policy analyst at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, and they gotta say this, a conservative think tank. And this story is from the Washington Examiner today. So that first change from the Biden administration concerns section 1557. And this is the civil rights provision in Obamacare that prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, and disability and health programs and activities that receive federal funding.
Starting point is 00:41:28 So what they're doing is they're adding to this now. The administration seems to clarify the meaning of sex discrimination to bring it into alignment with the Supreme Court decision in Bostock v. Clayton County in which the court ruled that employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity is discrimination on the basis of sex. Now, the second prong of this attack, the second proposal, pertains to essential health benefits. The list of services that Obamacare plans must cover. EHBs include doctor services, inpatient and outpatient hospital care, prescription drug coverage, pregnancy and childbirth, mental health services, and more. The administration proposed a rule meant to stop insurers from limiting coverage of EHBs based on gender identity and treating gender dysphoria,
Starting point is 00:42:20 that is, emotional distress due to a disconnect between their gender identity and biological sex. When clinical evidence demonstrates that such coverage is medically necessary for transgender people. I don't argue with the need for mental health services, but the current mental health state that they're going to issue is say, it's okay for you to be this nutty and this crazy. Now, Rick, if I went to the doctor's office and I said to the doctor, Dr. Woo-Woo or whoever you are, cut off my pinky, what would my doctor say? What would happen?
Starting point is 00:43:00 He'd say, you're nuts, doc. I'm not going to do that. Why? Why not? I don't want this pinky anymore, Dr. Wu. You don't identify with it anymore? I don't identify with this pinky anymore. So I don't want it to be part of me.
Starting point is 00:43:13 So please remove it. Would I? It's suggested you get some mental health counseling. Right. But I can mar up my body. I can remove parts, try to dig out other parts, try to pretend I have a part, but that's okay. But the most outrageous thing
Starting point is 00:43:31 is that adults can do this to children. Yes. Start pumping them up full of chemicals to basically mess up their biology for the rest of their life and then carve them up. Yes. And now your health insurance program gets to pay for it. Yes.
Starting point is 00:43:53 First time I ever encountered it, Doc, our family, we were in a local museum here in the Treasure Coast. It was just a weekend event, took the kids to a museum. And a lot of children were there. And so I was standing at this display inside the museum. A lot of kids were there looking at it. And there was a child there in front of me, maybe, I'm going to guess, 13, 14 years old. And I assumed he was a boy.
Starting point is 00:44:29 Right. And so I started talking to him about the scientific display that the kids were looking at. And I asked him his name. And he gave me a girl's name. And I looked at him and I said, I forget how I said this, but I said, oh, you mean, and I gave the male version of the name. He goes, no, it's, they gave me the female version,
Starting point is 00:44:52 but he looks like a boy, okay? But you could tell something was different, and I said, you sure your name is not, and he put his head down, and he goes, I don't want to talk about it, and at that moment i realized oh your parents are transitioning you yes and it's a and you're you don't want to do it but you've got a leftist mom and dad that watch cnn and msnbc and they they believe you're a girl and they're changing you from a boy to a girl.
Starting point is 00:45:28 It was so obvious, Doc. I wanted to go find the parents and go, you're so weird. What you're doing to your child is... And they can't transition back either. No, they can't. Once they get them locked in, even if they had feelings toward them,
Starting point is 00:45:45 now they're feeling themselves, well, maybe I am supposed to be this way. It's sick. It's a sign of a society that's sick. Now, hey, I wanted to tell you this. If you're a business owner, depending on the size of your business, I'll give you some advice to avoid this kind of craziness here in the United States. Look, if you have a large company, these mandates that politicians are putting on and bureaucrats are putting on corporations, you don't have any choice except to obey them. But there is a loophole. So I'll try to explain it. When Hobby Lobby won the case against Obamacare, it went to the Supreme Court, and I really
Starting point is 00:46:38 applaud the Green family for staying in that fight and going all the way to the Supreme Court, along with the Conestoga Wagon family-owned company in Pennsylvania, Amish company, and they were in that Supreme Court battle also. So what the Supreme Court ruled is that some corporations have religious rights. Hobby Lobby was declared by the Supreme Court that they had religious rights as a company. Yes. But when you read the Supreme Court ruling, it does not apply to every corporation in the United States. This is what you have to do. And so if you're in business, you may want to talk to an attorney, talk to your corporate attorney and lay this out in front of them and say, you know, how do we do this? The Supreme Court limited religious rights to close corporation. So a closed corporation in the United States is a privately held company with no more than 35 shareholders. They are closely related by some, you know, some connection, whether family or church attendance, or there's something that
Starting point is 00:48:06 unites the shareholders. There's some common bond. Like relatives or members of the same church or something like that. There has by no more than five of the shareholders. That's a closed corporation. So the Supreme Court said closed corporations have religious rights. So you may want to convert your corporation to a closed corporation and defend your religious rights. And nobody can force you to do these things. Now, when you say closed corporation,
Starting point is 00:48:57 that's C-L-O-S-E, not closed. Like you're closed, not open for business. But C-L-O-S-E. Yes, closed. And you can just go online and research closed corporation and get the details about it. But the Supreme Court said closed corporations have religious rights. And your company will be protected from these outrageous mandates coming down from federal and state agencies that violate your morality and religious beliefs. So stand on whatever legal ground is there for you. That's what the Apostle
Starting point is 00:49:38 Paul did. I mean, whenever he had to whip out of his pocket his Roman passport. He did. He did. Sometimes he went to court. He was in court a lot. Okay. His enemies were dragging him to court. But sometimes he went to court against his enemies.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Yes. So study the book of Acts, how Paul used the law. And don't be afraid to use the law to defend your religious liberties. We can win this battle. It's going to take a generation. Somebody in this country needs a generational plan. Some religious leader. More than one. There needs to be a common there needs to be a group of religious leaders
Starting point is 00:50:28 I'm not talking just about pastors, but about Christian men and women who come up with a generational plan for this country and are committed to a 40 to 50 year plan to turn America back from paganism to Christianity. It's not going to happen overnight. It's going to take 40 to 50 years for this to happen, but it can happen. St. Patrick changed Ireland from pagan to Christian in 40 years. He went to Ireland at age 40. He died at age 80. And between 40 and 80, he converted Ireland from pagan to Christian. And he did it through
Starting point is 00:51:14 marketplace ministry. He did it out in the marketplace. He didn't have big crusade meetings and rallies. He did it one on one. They led people to Christ by witnessing to them, by interacting with the pagans. He had a plan and he worked the plan and the plan worked and Ireland became Christian. So let's learn from people who've done things in the past. And this isn't the first time a country's been pagan. Am I sad about it? Yeah, I'm sad. I watched our country in my lifetime go from Christian to pagan. I'd like to live long enough to see it
Starting point is 00:51:53 to go from pagan to Christian. That would be awesome. I'd be 108 years old. But it'd be great to see. But I'd like to see it. You know, I'd like to see it. It can happen. And we need a generational plan.
Starting point is 00:52:11 And it's time that people come together and come up with that plan and then implement the plan and begin to fund it and work the plan. Let's see. Oh, CNN. CNN. CNN Plus. let's see oh cnn cnn plus if you didn't have if you did if you weren't satisfied with just regular cnn you could get cnn plus and pay for it well it lasted an entire month but the new owners are shutting it down yeah so there's been a big corporate transition that's taken place over the past couple months. WarnerMedia has shifted from AT&T.
Starting point is 00:52:49 Now it's part of the Discovery family of networks. And so this was all finalized here within the past couple weeks. And one of the very first things that the new Warner Discovery Company is doing is shutting down CNN Plus because it's just a money pit. And so now everybody's familiar with this story now because even CNN tweeted out the story today. They only had 10,000 viewers per day. Right. Not in one particular hour. 10,000 per day.
Starting point is 00:53:20 For the entire day. And so they're just shutting the whole thing down. Now, there are estimates that the amount of money they spent to launch this streaming service for CNN, the low end is $250 million. That's the low end. That's the amount they admit. But some estimates are as high as close to a billion dollars that they've spent. See, I'll tell you, true news, we will offer $100.
Starting point is 00:53:48 We'll buy CNN Plus for $100. I think you'd still lose money on it, right? Well, we would have to change the content, you know, like something people want to see. But that's something to really consider in this, that one of the first things that Warner Discovery is doing is saying, you're shutting that down. The folks over at the regular CNN now should be sitting up high in their chairs and asking themselves, will I have a job in 30 days from now? You know, the one you have
Starting point is 00:54:18 to laugh at in all this, Chris Wallace left Fox News to go to CNN Plus. Yes, and now he's minus. Because he was going to be the big star on CNN Plus. He's now CNN minus. That's right. All right, and Chris Wallace is, I guess, well, I mean, he's on contract. They might put him over on CNN regular or irregular. What do we call it?
Starting point is 00:54:41 CNN irregular. It's like New Coke and Old Coke, and so you're still going to get the same thing. But things have to change at CNN, and the head of Discovery Networks has already said that if the merger occurred, which it has, that they would bring CNN back to journalism instead of creating news.
Starting point is 00:55:05 So we'll see if that happens. That's where I think they'll go. They'll actually go back to journalism instead of creating news. So we'll see if that happens. That's where I think they'll go. They'll actually go back to being a news network. That's a radical idea. Just report news. Cable news network. With no commentary. News is their middle name.
Starting point is 00:55:18 Hillary Clinton wants a federal judge to throw out Donald Trump's lawsuit. So this story now is heating up here, and the argument is, whatever the utility of plaintiff's complaint as a fundraising tool, a press release, or a list of political grievances, it has no merit as a lawsuit
Starting point is 00:55:37 and should be dismissed with prejudice, the 22-page court filing said. In a 108-page complaint filed last month, President Trump claimed Clinton and others orchestrated a plan to manufacture the Russian scandal to ruin his candidacy in 2016 when he was running as a Republican candidate against Clinton. There is no speculation that they did do that. They did exactly that.
Starting point is 00:56:03 And so Hillary Clinton has no choice but to ask the court to dismiss it. But this is probably going to go all the way to the wall. Would you expect? I think so at this point because there's so much evidence now that there was a vast left-wing conspiracy led by Hillary Clinton. But think how long it's taken to bring all this to light. So you can do evil. You can do all these things.
Starting point is 00:56:29 Five years, five and a half years. And a change of presidency. Really, we'd have to say six years because it started around 2015. 2015, 16, before he won the presidency. They were already laying the trap. Right. So the next one is New York Post.
Starting point is 00:56:50 Half of J.P. Morgan, plus also Robin Hood workers on Wall Street, admit that they smoked pot during the workday. During the day. Yesterday was 420 Day, which is the celebration of smoking pot and everything. And so this story relates to that. It said in the story that nearly one-third of corporate professionals, about 29%, revealed that they have used cannabis while working in the office or working from home over the last three months. That's just the last three months. The people handling your money at J.P. Morgan are stoned.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Yes. Just are stoned. Yes. Just think about that. So next time you call up your broker, if you have any of the big league brokers that operate on Wall Street, and you got off the phone and you've been wondering, are they smoking weed? The answer is probably yes. Yes, they are. They are smoking weed. Next story, this is a BBC, the microchip implants that will let you pay with your hand.
Starting point is 00:57:51 Rick, this is actually a new story that I heard about coming in to work today. And obviously, we were operating on the same wavelength this morning because you found a similar story. But this is a UK operation called Walletmore. And Walletmore's chip, which weighs less than a gram and is a little bigger than a grain of rice, is comprised of a tiny microchip and an antenna encased in a biopolymer, naturally sourced material similar to plastic.
Starting point is 00:58:22 The technology Walletmore uses is near-field communication, or NFC, the contactless payment system in smartphones. Other payment implants are based on radio frequency identification, which is the similar technology typically found in physical contactless debit and credit cards. Now, for our true news... Is this a microchip implanted in the customer's hand? Yes, and it's being actively used and promoted throughout the U.K. right now. In fact, and I said this a couple years ago, I said there will be a day where they'll give you discounts if you use a microchip.
Starting point is 00:59:01 They're doing exactly that. So there are bars and pubs in the UK right now. If you have the Walletmore chip in your hand, you can actually earn cash back or get a discount off certain products in that particular establishment. And that's how Walletmore is rolling out. Now it costs about $300 to have this implant made, but they'll break it out over payments for you too. But someday it'll be mandatory. Right. So as it stands right now, you can actually, their pitch is you can actually earn back the cost of your implant within several months just by using it. And you don't have to have it, it doesn't have to be a Walletmore establishment that
Starting point is 00:59:44 uses it. It can be a regular store. If they offer contactless payment, like through your phone or your credit card, you can now use your hand. At any contactless. At any contactless place. Now, that's different. Yes, that's what's different in the UK.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Wow. Look, after we've watched in the past year how many people just rolled over and got a genetic gene therapy injection in their body without asking any questions, just because some politician, some government bureaucrat told them you have to do it. Millions of people went out and did it. I expect them to get the mark of the beast. It's not going to be a big deal. They're just going to to do it. Millions of people went out and did it. I expect them to get the mark of the beast. It's not going to be a big deal. They're just going to go do it. And so, you know, they had to bribe some people.
Starting point is 01:00:35 You know, give them donuts or beer or $100 or whatever it takes. Or threaten their job. Right. And so, and that's the next phase. So you'll go through the first phase. Hey, we need to do this. It's a great thing. Then they'll bribe you and then they'll threaten you. Hey, we need to do this. It's a great thing. Then they'll bribe you and then they'll threaten you.
Starting point is 01:00:49 Like you said, food is power. Yes. It is used to change behavior. If you can't buy food at the grocery store, a lot of people are going to get microchipped in order to buy the food. They're just not going to fight it. Right. You saw it in your own families. You saw it with your friends, your neighbors, your coworkers.
Starting point is 01:01:05 They got vaccinated and it wasn't a vaccine. It was gene therapy and it will forever be changing their human body. And they can't get rid of it. It can't be removed from their body. They did it because they were under social pressure to do it. And the same thing's going to happen with the microchips to be able to buy and sell. This next one, this is the one I heard today. This was supermarket news. I read it today. Amazon won. Palm scan checkout rolls out to Whole Foods in Austin. Of course, Amazon owns Whole Foods.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Right. And so Austin, Texas, you can now pay with your hand at Whole Foods. I just find it fascinating you were reading supermarket news. And so you're just not limited to any outlet. And so this isn't their first foray into palm scanning, Rick. After making its Whole Foods market debut in Seattle a year ago, the Amazon One contactless payment system is now rolling out to the specialty grocery stores in Austin, Texas. Amazon said yesterday that the Whole Foods store and the shops of Arbor Trail Shopping Center in southwestern Austin can now
Starting point is 01:02:23 pay for their groceries by scanning their hand on the Amazon One palm reader at checkout. Plans call for Amazon One to be deployed at Whole Foods, six other stores in the area, including four locations in Austin and one apiece in Bee Cave in Cedar Park, Texas. So Amazon One uses custom-built algorithms and hardware to scan a person's unique palm signature and provide a fast and contactless means of enabling everyday activities such as checkout and payment at a store or presentation of a loyalty card and secure entry at sites like a store, stadium, or workplace. So customers sign up for the service at a special kiosk or device in participating stores, and enrollment takes less than a minute, according to Amazon. After inserting their credit card, shoppers hold their palm over the device and follow the prompts to pair the card with their palm signature, which is built in real time via computer vision
Starting point is 01:03:20 technology. Customers can enroll with one palm or both. And so this is the next phase. You don't need a microchip. You don't need a microchip. You just simply put your palm down. Your palm gets read by a palm reader. Palm readers used to be bad things. They still are. They still are. It reads your palm. So no incision in the skin, no electronic device in you at all. Look, the convenience of the palm of your hand. Now you can shop at Amazon. Now you can have food. Just put your hand down.
Starting point is 01:03:57 Make your oath. Put your palm down, and we will let you have food. So the veins in your palm will be scanned. The veins in your palm will be linked to your identity, which is tied to your bank account. So the concept is that your veins are unique to your body. Nobody else has the veins that you have in the palms of your hands.
Starting point is 01:04:28 And so, therefore, your identification can be authenticated. And like Doc said, it'll just be so easy to, you don't even need to use your phone now. Right. See, it gets you conditioned with paying by your phone. Now, you just put your hand up. Okay. use your phone now right see they get you conditioned with paying by your phone now you just put your hand up okay that's this is where they're taking the world this is the beast system that is rising up in front of us and it means that the one called antichrist is on his way it's just that simple but the good news is the one called christ is on his way. It's just that simple. But the good news is the one called Christ is on his way
Starting point is 01:05:06 because Antichrist is only going to have a brief reign on the planet's surface. It's going to be a horrible time while he's here in charge of the world. But those who endure to the end shall be saved. Now, this is what I want you to do. If you're in Austin, let us know if you have friends or relatives or coworkers that are starting to use the Amazon Palm scan. I think you're going to be surprised in the coming weeks how quickly it's accepted by people in Austin, Texas.
Starting point is 01:05:42 And it's no accident they used Austin. Austin tends to be younger demographically. The new Tesla super plant is being built there. It's oriented towards technology. Right, and so they've got one of the largest data centers in the U.S. on the south end of Austin. But it's no accident. It's a little bit of California in the middle of Texas. Yeah, but if the Mark of the Beast system can work in Texas, it can work anywhere in Canada.
Starting point is 01:06:12 So watch how fast the Texans sign up for the Mark of the Beast. But email us here at info at truenews.com, info at truenews.com us, you know, people who are using the Palm scanner in Austin, Texas, and just give us some, some details about how quickly they accept. Maybe we might be surprised. Maybe people resist it. That would be wonderful. Imagine all those Baptists in Texas saying, I'm not going to scan my hand. Hmm. Do you think the Baptists would do that? Most of the Baptists are secret pre-tribulation folks and they're expecting to be raptured before the mark of the beast arrives. So that hand scanning can't be. That's what they would argue. It can't be the mark of the beast because
Starting point is 01:06:59 the rapture hasn't happened. Well I'm going to tell you what the Bible says. Let's just end today's true news with what the Word of God says about the last days. It says in Revelation 13, 16, and 17, He causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one may buy or sell except he who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name. Well, that's what the word says, and it's going to happen as sure as you and I are alive right now. And I don't know about you, but I'm going to endure
Starting point is 01:07:40 to the end. I'm not going to bow. I'm not going to submit. I will resist even unto death because Christians can't die. Only our bodies can die. We will forever be alive and in the presence of the Lord. So when that time comes that the whole world is being forced to be marked it only means that the arrival of King Jesus is imminent. And even if they kill you, how long is your body going to be in the grave? It's just going to be a small amount of time. Who cares? It's just, it's a short period of time.
Starting point is 01:08:19 Christ is going to come back and end this wicked system. That is it for today and I don't have a copy of my final day book here but I would like to remind you if you have not read Final Day, the ten characteristics of the Lord's second coming, then I would encourage you to get that book. It doesn't talk, actually it says hardly anything about the mark of the beast. It's just about the characteristics of what happens on the last day when Christ comes back.
Starting point is 01:08:51 So there's no fold out chart or anything? No charts or anything like that. It's not complicated. It's just, I just take the word of God and explain. This is what the Bible says about the second coming and the word, it just explains itself. It's just that simple. Amen.
Starting point is 01:09:09 Well, that's what the word says. The word says that anybody who receives the mark of the beast shall be cast into the lake of fire. Don't be that person. Be the one that says, I will endure to the end. And Christ will save your soul. That is a promise. God bless. We'll see you tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:09:29 God bless you. The preceding program was made possible by the faithful prayers and financial support of listeners just like you. To find out how you can help, visit www.truenews.com.
