World War III opened a Middle Eastern theater on Saturday after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, killing at least 800 Israelis. It was the worst day for the Jewish nation since the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

Starting point is 00:00:34 True News will focus our entire two-hour program today on the troubling developments in Israel and Palestine. So, Dr. Burkhardt is here with me. Yes, sir. I just arrived in the studio 90 seconds ago. We are in World War III. We have been for a while, but now it's moved up to another level. Yes, I've been trying to get this across to our audience since February of 2022.

Starting point is 00:01:07 World War III started in February of 22. Doc, World War II started in 1939, but America did not join World War II until December of 41. Yes. So for Americans listening to me or watching me saying, well, Rick, I don't know if this is World War III. Trust me, it is. Two years can go by in the Third World War until America gets deeply involved in it. And we're almost at the two-year mark. This February will be the two-year mark. That's true. Joe Biden, soundbite of Joe Biden saying that he got up Saturday morning around 8 a.m. And read about the attack.

Starting point is 00:02:19 8 a.m.? 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Yeah, I knew about it a lot earlier than that. Well, it actually started the night before.m. Saturday morning. Starting point is 00:02:34 They didn't bother to wake him up and tell him. And if you were driving by the White House yesterday, you would hear music playing because they were having a big party. They were having a party. They were having a barbecue. That's right. Well, let's take a look at what's going on so we'll start with the times of israel i've been following this all weekend and uh intensely since early this morning so this is times of israel death toll from hamas onslaught passes 800 over 100 israelis kidnapped as israel strikes gaza i've had uh palestinians tell me that these numbers are much higher well i think those are just the israeli numbers yes

Starting point is 00:03:15 this yeah no this is yeah no i have palestinians telling me that the israeli numbers are much higher oh i believe that and that the number of kidnapped of kidnapped Israelis is drastically higher than 100 people. I'm trying to remember the one figure I was told that maybe close to a thousand Israelis have been kidnapped. This is, again, unconfirmed, unverified reports given to me. Of course, those are numbers that are circulating around in Palestine. I noticed that the Israeli papers would go kind of like in suspension for many, many hours with no updates. Right. Obviously, the Israeli government telling the newspapers, do not report the facts, do not talk about what's going on right now.

Starting point is 00:04:09 Sometimes you'd go three, four, five hours until there was an update. But this is the latest this morning, just a couple of hours ago. And I've seen recent reports within the past half hour that that number is over a thousand dead. Yes, that's what I'm saying. Several outlets are reporting that. So we're going to show you some of the videos. Most of you probably have seen videos of the beginning of the attack. Again, we have a lot of people listening to True News without access to the videos.

Starting point is 00:04:42 So Doc and I are going to narrate the videos. We are keeping the audio of the videos on a low level, and we will narrate what we're seeing. So right now, we're looking at hundreds of Hamas rockets flying in the sky above Israel on Saturday night. The numbers that we're told, Israel says that Hamas fired 5,000 rockets. Yes. Hamas said half of that, 2,500. Either way, it's still thousands of rockets.

Starting point is 00:05:15 Thousands of rockets came into Israel on Saturday night. And whereas the Iron Dome did a fair enough job in defending against the rockets. A lot got through, Rick. That's right. That's right. There are a lot of Americans who are trapped in Israel right now. One of them or two of them, I should say, is a couple. Paul Crouch Jr. and his wife, Brenda.

Starting point is 00:05:41 They're there now? Yes. I didn't realize that. Yes, I text, I've been texting Paul throughout the weekend asking if he was safe. And he had told me, let's see, around 2.45 a.m. Sunday morning that he was going to fly out, which would be Eastern time, Sunday night, around 9 p.m. Eastern time. Right. I texted him this morning.

Starting point is 00:06:08 He had not left yet. Wow. Well, keep them in prayer, definitely. Paul and Brenda Crouch are there. Many other Americans are stranded. No flights coming into Israel. A few flights leaving. So you can imagine boarding a commercial airliner in Tel Aviv and hoping that the airliner gets through Israeli airspace and doesn't get hit by a rocket coming in. The largest killings that took place Saturday was at an Israeli music festival in southern Israel. Here's a CBS News headline.

Starting point is 00:06:53 Hamas gunmen opened fire on an incredibly well-planned, choreographed attack on Israel that apparently nobody thought that they could do. And they got a lot of their fighters over the fence inside israel i mean they blew up fences drove bulldozers through fences right security barriers they used uh paragliders yes guys with uh motorized wings motorized wings but but armed and shooting people on the ground from a paraglider. And they also used the guys on the paragliders to kidnap Israelis. I hadn't heard that, but I saw them destroying tanks with paragliders. Quite an operation, what took place. So one of the biggest massacres, 250 Israelis, young people, at a music concert in southern Israel.

Starting point is 00:08:04 And this was right on the Gaza border near an IDF military checkpoint, too. Yes. So it wasn't like, you know, deep inside Israel, I think. But it was right up against the border with Gaza. And so the Hamas fighters got through the barrier and entered the festival and randomly shot 250 young Israelis there. Doc, obviously what the operation that Hamas carried out was, they did not just target Israeli soldiers. They randomly shot anybody.

Starting point is 00:08:47 It seemed like the motive was to kill as many civilians as possible. Maximum shock and awe. They went for shock and awe. So it wasn't like they killed 800 soldiers right they killed 800 many of those were soldiers they killed 800 people i read stories today about um on the israeli side reporters that that got to certain towns that had been attacked saturday and they saw they saw cars that had been burned out bodies um dragged out. Dragged out in the street. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:09:25 So it was really total pandemonium, chaos. I'll just be blunt. Israelis what the Haganah and the Jewish terror groups did to the Arabs in 1948. They would rush into Arab towns and massacre everybody. And that's what happened. Blood bloodletting gets more bloodletting.

Starting point is 00:10:01 It's revenge. The revenge killing never stops. They sowed to the wind and they reaped the whirlwind, as the Bible says. So I want to show you, I saw a video. There were some very sad videos that these young Israelis sent to parents, to friends. They were texting just before they were killed. They were sending videos.

Starting point is 00:10:32 They were saying, you know, we're hiding. People are being shot and everything. The Israeli news media is making a lot of drama about a particular young Israeli woman, young Jewish woman who was one of the victims. And so there's a video of her circulating of her at the dance. We're going to show this to you right now. So these are scenes of the Israeli dance. And as you will see here, this is not something Moses would have attended.

Starting point is 00:11:11 None of the prophets would have been there. This is not the Holy Land. And so there is... There's a reason to... There's a need to understand that, well, this is what we're seeing right now. This is people leaving it. This is not the video I was hoping to show. Well, this is when they start first hearing shots being fired. Yeah, there was a video I wanted to show of the very sexualized dancing that was taking place at the event.

Starting point is 00:11:49 That's what I was trying to get across to the people, that it was a very decadent, worldly event. Right. So these are Israeli Jews supposedly conquering the Holy Land and living just like their ancestors who got kicked out of the Holy Land. Nothing's changed. Nothing has changed. And the only thing that will change is when people believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and there's a change in their nature. It doesn't matter if they're muslims or jews arabs or jews caucasians asians we're all fallen creatures until we repent of our sins and believe on the lord jesus christ what i was showing you what i was intending to show you with this uh video was that the the hedonistic dancing that was taking place at this event, in itself, assured that there was no divine protection over them.

Starting point is 00:12:56 Yes, that's true. Those are hard words to say, but that's the truth. And if you're going to live in the Holy Land, you have to live holy in the land. But all of it, it's all tragic. Everything that's happening right now on both sides, tremendously tragic. Reuters, this is today. Hamas deployed specialized units to attack Israel and so now the explanations are coming out how was Hamas able to pull out pull off such a an organized seemingly well
