Starting point is 00:00:00 This is True News, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us God. Millions of Americans are fed up with the so-called woke agenda. Now, you and I know its real name, and it's Marxist communism. Although citizens are furious about the audacious communist ideology pushed onto American society, few political leaders have the backbone to confront it head on. You know, it's one thing to send out a tweet against wokeism or to appear on Fox News to criticize wokeism, but it's an entirely different thing to directly challenge the radicals who are demanding we accept their crazy agenda. Thank God that here in the state of Florida, we have Governor Ron DeSantis. He is spearheading the political assault against the communist woke agenda. He took on the Disney Corporation and won. He has campaigned against local school board members and defeated them.
Starting point is 00:01:23 His administration has led the Florida legislature to pass statewide legislation restricting the teaching of socialism and communism in Florida schools. Today, Governor DeSantis called out the sexual perverts who have inserted pornographic books in some Florida county schools. He held a press conference in Tampa and showed a video that featured the actual pornography that is being taught in public schools to little children. And I will show you the video in the second half of today's True News. First, however, we will present Governor DeSantis' state-of-the-state address to the Florida legislature that he delivered on Tuesday in Tallahassee. Florida's Senate President Kathleen Pasadena said, quote,
Starting point is 00:02:15 Our governor is truly America's governor. our conservative values, challenged the individuals and institutions who pose threats to others, and has proposed innovative solutions to better our state. Again, I will show you the porn in the schools video that Governor DeSantis showed today in Tampa immediately after his State of the State speech. Here it is. Mr. Speaker, Madam President, members of the legislature and fellow citizens, my duty under the Constitution is to inform the legislature concerning the condition of the state and to recommend measures in the public interest.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Well, as we used to do in the military, here's the bluff, the bottom line up front. Florida is number one, and working together, we will ensure that Florida remains the number one state in these United States. Florida is the fastest growing state in the nation. We rank number one for net in-migration. We rank number one in the nation for new business formations. We are number one in economic growth amongst large states. Florida has more people employed today than before the pandemic. Our unemployment rate is one of the lowest on record, and it is significantly lower than the national average. And of course, as many of you know in this room, the last two years, we've seen the largest budget surpluses in the lowest per capita state tax and lowest per capita state debt burdens amongst all large states.
Starting point is 00:04:39 We rank number one in the nation in tourism, and we just experienced yet another record-breaking year for visitors to the Sunshine State. We are number one in law enforcement recruitment and support. Florida's crime rate stands at a 50-year low. We are number one in the nation for education freedom. We rank number one in the nation for parental involvement in education. We rank number one in fourth grade reading and math amongst all large states and we have the number one public higher education system in the country we are number one amongst large states for the quality of our roads and florida has the top three cruise ports in the
Starting point is 00:05:40 entire world we rank number one for space-related development, manufacturing, and flight. And maybe most famously, we rank number one for protections of our citizens against the biomedical security state, from prohibiting jab or job mandates, to banning vaccine passports, to ensuring hospital visitation rights. We defied the experts. We bucked the elites. We ignored the chatter. We did it our way, the Florida way. And the result is that we are the number one destination for our fellow Americans who are looking for a better life. Working together, we have met big challenges, and we've led the nation on many big issues.
Starting point is 00:06:55 We don't make excuses. We don't complain. We just produce results. Florida stepped up in times of crisis. In September, Hurricane Ian smashed into southwest Florida and barreled across our state. It left catastrophic damage in its wake, including the destruction of the Pine Island Bridge and the Sanibel Causeway. Local island residents were told it would take six months or more to restore the bridges, and so they appealed to the state for help. We took up the challenge, and three days later, we opened a rebuilt Pine Island Bridge. And two weeks after that, we were able to reopen the Sanibel Causeway after it had been severed in three locations. We're joined today by Stephen Soloway. If you can stand and be recognized, he's a business owner on Pine Island.
Starting point is 00:08:07 In the immediate aftermath of the storm, he was helping residents by boat bring supplies for people that were in need. He has said that the reopening of the bridge was a godsend for the folks on Pine Island. They are coming back, and God bless you, sir. Julie Wapis is the fourth grade teacher at the Sanibel School. She lost everything in her home and in her classroom. They had to have the school take place on the mainland, but because of the rebuilt causeway, a faster recovery has been facilitated, and the school is now back open on Sanibel Island. Thank you for your service. Thank you. Also with us today is Barbara Morgan,
Starting point is 00:09:22 a resident of Lee County. She was displaced from her home, very bad damage, and she was trying to get a temporary trailer from FEMA. Well, they weren't moving fast enough, so the state of Florida, in a first-of-its-kind program in the nation, stepped up to the plate, created our own program for travel trailers, and we were delighted to be able to get Barbara in a trailer on her own property as she works to rehab her home. Thank you for being here, and God bless you. We've also delivered for all Floridians much-needed economic relief. Due to the excessive spending and printing of money by the federal government, Americans are living through the worst period of sustained inflation in decades. We've worked together to reduce the pain of inflation
Starting point is 00:10:25 by enacting over $1 billion in tax relief in this current year's budget and by slashing tolls by 50% for Florida commuters for this calendar year. That will save some families more than $1,000. Thank you, legislature, for stepping up for our consumers. Florida is proud to stand for law and order. We are tough on crime, and we support the men and women of law enforcement. And we have made it very clear to prosecutors who believe they can disregard the law, we enacted a recruitment bonus program to recruit law enforcement officers from other states, and that program has surpassed expectations. Joining us today is Officer Mercedes Phillips from the Cape Coral Police Department. She was able to take advantage of this program, received a $5,000 signing bonus this summer, leaving Montgomery County, Maryland, now working in Cape Coral. And guess what? She got here just in time for the hurricane, but she wouldn't trade what she's done
Starting point is 00:11:59 and she's made a great move. So thank you for your service and we're happy to have you in Florida. We believe that borders matter and we have fought against illegal immigration in the state of Florida. From banning sanctuary cities to suing the Biden administration over its catch-and-release policies to transporting illegal aliens to sanctuary jurisdictions, we have put Floridians first, and we will continue to do that. We've also provided robust support for K-12 education. We have enacted record increases in teacher salaries. We've expanded school choice, and we have protected the rights of parents. Joining us here today is Takesha Barrow, a fifth grade teacher from Renaissance Charter School in Wellington and a U.S. Army veteran. She had had to leave the teaching profession for a time being. Part of the reason she came back is because we were increasing salaries,
Starting point is 00:13:12 and so she's brought her U.S. Army experience back into the classroom. So thank you for what you do every day for our students. God bless. joining miss barrow is melissa ann match she's a seventh grade math teacher from Clay County, and she is the 2023 Florida Teacher of the Year. Thank you for what you're doing. And keep up the great work. Thank you so much. We're also joined by Alicia Ferent. She's a mother of five who attend Orange County Public Schools. She was a concerned parent a year or two ago because she saw that there was inappropriate material in her children's library and school, things that were even pornographic. So she raised the issue. She got a positive result, but she decided to get more involved. And in this past November, she was elected to the Orange County School Board as a parents' rights candidate.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Congratulations to you, and we've expanded opportunities for Floridians to obtain certifications and credentials. A four-year degree from a traditional brick-and-ivy university is one way you can be successful. It is not the only way. Joining us here today is Kirk Corwin. He's a driver with Walpole, Inc. He was able to get his commercial driver's license through one of our programs here in the state of Florida.
Starting point is 00:15:21 He was also spared his job when the legislature came in and we protected against the VAX mandates. So thank you for stepping up and thank you for fulfilling an important role in our economy. Four years ago, the state was producing about 600 truck drivers a year. Now, through all of our initiatives over the last four years, we're capable of producing 3,500 truck drivers each and every year. You want to talk about supply chain, you want to talk about making sure our economy runs, these guys are really important for that. We're also here with
Starting point is 00:16:06 Rheanne Champion, who fulfills another very important role in the state of Florida. She's recently graduated from the nursing program at Seminole State College. I think as many of you know, there's a nationwide nursing shortage. And so what we've been able to do with the help of the legislature is put record resources into our systems so we can train more Floridians to become nurses. Thank you for what you're doing. I know everybody appreciates having a great nurse. God bless. Florida has provided the strongest protections for medical freedom during the coronavirus pandemic of any state in the country. We have prohibited COVID shot mandates in schools. We have banned vaccine passports and we have protected Floridians from losing their jobs
Starting point is 00:17:07 due to their personal decision about whether to take or not take the COVID jab. We're joined here by Dr. Tim Boyette. He's a radiologist and his job at a hospital in the Panhandle was saved due to the actions of the legislature to provide protections for all Floridians. No Floridian should have to choose between a job they need and a shot they don't want. Thank you, doctor, for standing strong. Thank you. With your support, we've ushered in a new era of stewardship for Florida's natural resources, securing historic funding for water quality and Everglades projects, improving our water policy, and utilizing technology to combat things like algal blooms
Starting point is 00:18:05 and red tide, we promised to leave Florida to God better than we found it, and we are making good on that promise. November's election results represent a vindication of our joint efforts over these past four years. The results also vest in us the responsibility to lead and provide us the opportunity to shoot for the stars. Boldness, be our friend in this endeavor. We have a lot we need to accomplish. Our $2 billion tax cut package is the largest tax cut package in Florida history. It will help many who need relief from inflation, especially our Florida families. By permanently eliminating sales tax on all baby supplies, diapers, wipes, clothes, cribs, strollers,
Starting point is 00:18:52 we will be able to say that in Florida, having a child will be tax-free. We are proud to be pro-family, and we are proud to be pro-life in the state of prescription drugs, especially due to pharmacy middlemen. We must bring transparency to the system so that Floridians can save money on their drugs. We need reform of the PBMs. While our economy has consistently outperformed the nation as a whole, Florida's lawsuit-happy legal climate is still holding us back. The legal system should be centered on achieving justice, not lining the pockets of lawyers. Speaker Paul Renner is stepping up to deliver much-needed legal reform,
Starting point is 00:20:29 and I thank him for helping Florida reach its full economic potential. Thank you, sir. Our state is growing. Americans are voting with their feet, and we need to ensure that we're getting ahead of the population expansion by accelerating infrastructure projects. Our Moving Florida Forward infrastructure initiative will expedite 20 major interstate and roadway projects over the next four years. This will allow these projects to be completed a decade ahead of schedule, and just think of how much time that will save Floridians from having to sit in the awful traffic
Starting point is 00:21:16 that they sometimes have to do. We also need to ensure that our supply of housing is adequate to meet the needs of those in our workforce. Workers who make our economy tick should be able to find a place to live that's affordable in their general area of their jobs. And I want to thank President Kathleen Pasadena for tackling this issue head on, and I look forward to working with her to deliver big results. We must continue our stewardship of Florida's natural resources by supporting additional water quality and Everglades restoration efforts, enhancing protection for our coastlines, and establishing the Indian River Lagoon Protection Program. We are truly making history with our conservation efforts. Let's not stop now. We have rejected the biomedical security state in Florida and have provided protections for Floridians against unwanted medical interventions,
Starting point is 00:22:34 but those protections are set to expire in July. It's important that we make all of these protections permanent. Protection from medical authoritarianism should not have an expiration date in the free state of Florida. We also need to protect the free speech rights and conscience rights of physicians. The medical establishment whiffed an awful lot during COVID, and physicians who follow the evidence should not be penalized simply because they buck a stale consensus. We must continue our momentum with K-12 education by increasing teacher salaries, enacting a teacher's bill of rights,
Starting point is 00:23:25 providing paycheck protection for teachers, expanding school choice, and fortifying parents' rights. Our schools must deliver a good education, not a political indoctrination. and it's sad that we have to say this but our children are not guinea pigs for science experimentation and we cannot allow people to make money off mutilating them. Chloe Cole is now a young adult, but she was receiving puberty blockers at age 13, and she underwent a double mastectomy at age 16.
Starting point is 00:24:19 She's now an advocate against allowing these procedures for our children. Chloe, thank you for your bravery, and the people of Florida and the legislature should heed your advice and provide protections against these procedures. The massive amount of fentanyl being trafficked across the southern border has devastated families across our nation. Kim Kelly from Jacksonville is joining us. She recently lost her son Palmer to fentanyl poisoning, but she is sharing Palmer's story because she wants to see additional accountability. Thank you for your bravery, and we're so sorry for your loss. We need to increase penalties for fentanyl dealers, especially those who target our children. And to do that, we must treat them like the murderers that they are. We must further strengthen our laws against illegal immigration by enhancing employment verification,
Starting point is 00:26:13 increasing penalties for human smuggling, and further disincentivizing illegal migration to the state of Florida. Florida is not a sanctuary state, and we will uphold the rule of law. Joining us here today is Stacey Kasuba. She's from Sarasota. Nearly two years ago, an illegal alien broke into her home and sexually assaulted her. He should have never been in this country in the first place. And if the federal government had done its job like it's supposed to, Stacey would never have been victimized. Enough is enough. Thank you for being willing to speak out and to share your story. We also need to ensure that our bail system is conducive to public safety.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Dangerous criminals should not simply be put back on the street like we see what happens in states that have gone so far as to abolish cash bail entirely. Police officers should not have to repeatedly risk his life to apprehend the same criminal over and over again. We also understand that part of fighting crime is to protect Floridians' right to defend themselves. A constitutional right should not require a permission slip from the government. It is time we join 25 other states to enact constitutional carry in the state of Florida. The Chinese Communist Party represents the greatest economic, strategic, and security threat that our country faces. We in Florida have long recognized this and have taken action, such as by banning the CCP's Confucius Institutes at our state colleges and universities. Now we see the CCP trying to make strategic land purchases across the U.S.
Starting point is 00:28:46 And our message in Florida is very simple. We will not allow land grabs by CCC-packed businesses in our state. You just watched the 2023 State of the State Address to the Florida Legislature by Governor Ron DeSantis. We will break soon on the Word Network, but return immediately with more videos from Florida. Governor DeSantis held a news conference today in Tampa and directly challenged the newspapers and TV news channels that are distorting his campaign against the Marxist communist woke agenda. And we will show you the video that he presented today that documents some of the pornography that is being presented in Florida County schools. Now to small children, the video contains content not suitable for children.
Starting point is 00:29:47 We will be back in just a few seconds. Well, welcome back to True News. We just showed you the 2023 State of the State Address here in the state of Florida by Governor Ron DeSantis, who was presented yesterday in the state capital of Tallahassee. You might say, Rick, you seem to be really proud of your governor. Yes, it's true. We are very proud of our governor. We think we have the best governor in the United States of America right now. And our governor, Ron DeSantis, is doing more than just talking against the wokeism agenda. He's taking them on. And he's winning.
Starting point is 00:30:39 One of the biggest battles we had here in Florida in the past year was with the Disney Corporation. Right. Doc, he defeated the Disney here in Florida in the past year was with the Disney Corporation. Doc, he defeated the Disney Corporation. In Florida. In the state of Florida, of all places. Disney went on a political assault against the governor about legislation that he proposed and was passed by the legislature that prohibited schools in the state from talking about gender transit transitions to little children right doesn't that seem like normal like
Starting point is 00:31:15 it would seem like a normal thing to be happening but the disney corporation went on the war path against the governor and instead of putting his tails between his legs and apologizing to Disney and saying, I'm sorry, we'll never do anything like that again, he took them on and he defeated them. And here's what happened. The land, thousands of acres around Disney World in Orlando is privately owned by Disney, but it is not governed by the county.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Right. They had a special exclusion that has existed for close to 50 years now, where they're basically self-governing. They have their own fire department. A corporation that ran their own little county government. Right. That's exactly what happened. And they received tax breaks on that, too. Yes. So the governor convinced the state legislature to teach Disney a lesson and strip them of that self-governing privilege. And the state legislature passed a bill. The governor now appoints the board of directors of that district that governs the land that disney
Starting point is 00:32:28 owns and it will cost the disney corporation about 700 million dollars in taxes now he taught them a lesson i don't know of anybody any governor that would take on the disney corporation in the state where they have their biggest amusement park. But you know what, Rick, that's just one example of one of the many things that Governor DeSantis has rolled out. His state of the state address really was a full frontal assault on the culture wars. As you go through it and listen to it, he has a very specific agenda that he wants to roll out.
Starting point is 00:33:05 He does have the advantage that he has a Republican legislature. You also have to keep in mind, too, that the possibility of Governor DeSantis running for president here within the next year or two, and that could change the balance of things here in the state. Is there another person with the wherewithal that DeSantis has to fill those shoes here in the state? We'll wait and see. But he received criticism for his State of the State address, specifically on issues related to public schools and some of the content that's in public schools. The news media, as always, has been lying about the governor.
Starting point is 00:33:45 Right. If you challenge their agenda, they lie about you. And they have told horrendous lies about Governor DeSantis, about his legislation, his plans, his agenda. They've distorted the public's
Starting point is 00:34:01 understanding of what he's doing. And it's just outright lying. It's not a question that they have a different point of view. They're lying. It's outright lying. And he's not afraid of them. He just gets up and takes them on and beats them. And so we've watched him in the last election. In my entire lifetime, I have never seen a governor campaign in counties against local school board members. And he's actively doing that. And he is going to counties that have woke socialist school board members. And he's campaigning against them. He's calling them out by name and he's raising money
Starting point is 00:34:46 and support for conservative candidates on the local school board level, which is just unheard of, but it's put the fear of God in the leftists because they've never been challenged like this. Rick, he flipped Miami-Dade from Democrat to Republican. Yes. That is a big story here in Florida. Yes. He is the man to watch. And I want to say this. Don't believe the propaganda stories out there that George Soros has endorsed Ron DeSantis for president.
Starting point is 00:35:20 That lie is going around on the internet. What Soros said was, what he would like to see is Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump beat up each other in the Republican primaries. George Soros will always be backing a Democrat. That's true. So it's people loyal to President Trump that are spreading this rumor that Ron DeSantis was endorsed by George Soros. Mr. Trump, I'm very upset with him. I don't like him calling the governor meathead and other names. I'm just tired of Mr. Trump calling people names. So Ron DeSantis acts like a gentleman. He's a good, outstanding Christian man and father and husband and a good
Starting point is 00:36:07 governor. And he doesn't resort to calling people names. He goes after their politics and he's not afraid. And so what he did today in Tampa, Florida, is said he had a press conference and there were hundreds of people there to show them videos of the pornography that is being shown in schools in Florida. Pornographic books, pornographic videos to small children. The media says that's not true. It's not happening. But the media won't show the video. That's right. You know why they can't show the video? They'll lose their broadcasting license from the FCC. Because of pornography.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Yes. Now think about that. The videos are too pornographic to be shown on television. And the books are too pornographic to be read at school board meetings. Yes, but they can be read to children. And so the governor is fed up with it. He's challenged them. He's going to take these books out of the schools in Florida.
Starting point is 00:37:14 But the news media, CBS and NBC and CNN. He's banning books. He's a book banner. He's a Hitler. He's a Hitler. He's going to ban books. We've got to stop this guy. No, he's rooting pornography out of the schools.
Starting point is 00:37:29 He's challenging the perverts, the socialists, the communists that are defiling the minds of the children. So we're going to show you the video. If you have children in the room, this is not a video you want them to watch. Okay, so just either pause this video right now and get your children to leave. Do whatever you got to do, moms and dads. This next segment of True News is just not fit for little children. We've never shown anything like this on True News. But we have to show it. But we've never lived in a time like this that they're doing things like this in schools. And I would have to show it. But we've never lived in a time like this that they're doing things
Starting point is 00:38:06 like this in schools. But I would think a lot of people don't even realize how extreme it is. And that's why it's necessary for us to show it.
Starting point is 00:38:13 That's right. So here's the press conference and the video and we'll be back in a few minutes with some closing remarks. Teachers who display or give a student a book deemed unallowed could face up to five years in prison. You heard that right.
Starting point is 00:38:43 Five years in prison for handing a child a book. The law requires books to be free from pornography, instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through third grade, and discrimination in a way that an individual, by virtue of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin, is inherently racist or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously. color, sex, or national origin is inherently racist or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously. Flamer, by Mike Curato, was founded Broward, Collier, Hillsborough, Marion, Seminole, and Volusia County schools. The camp the boys go to in the book has an island that the book says looks like a frying pan, but we're all certain it looks like a f***ing balls. It also contains a shower scene with a group of boys where a young man gets an erection.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Another where a boy watches porn and asks, why is there so much hair? While noting that those d**ks are so big. And if none of this causes you to pause, there's another section where a group of boys masturbate together and are pressured to ejaculate into a bottle. Let's Talk About It by Erica Moen and Matthew Nolan was found in a Broward County school and contains graphic depictions of how to masturbate for males and females while also including an entire section for anal sex with an encouragement to use a butt plug. Even more startling is the guide on how to sext for children, encouraging them to send photos that don't include your face,
Starting point is 00:40:26 hide your birthmarks and scars, and edit out your piercings and tattoos. Books by RootBee Corr, such as Homebody, Milk and Honey, and The Sun and Her Flowers, have been found in 15 schools. Homebody says masturbation is meditation and speaks about how the writer wants someone to look me in the eyes when you're down there eating for your life. These books are clearly not just conversation starters about the birds and the bees.
Starting point is 00:40:53 They are pushing an agenda. Gender Queer was found in Orange, St. Lucie, and Hillsborough County schools and is a graphic novel depicting masturbation and encouraging trans surgery by equating the scars from top surgery, the cutting off of females' breasts, with a tattoo. Let me ask you, what does Governor Ron DeSantis not know about black history and the black experience when he says that slavery and the aftermath of slavery should not be taught to Florida school children? I don't know what he knows and what he doesn't know, but I know this. There are concerns with the current syllabus for a new advanced placement course for Florida's high schoolers called AP African American Studies. The state education board citing issues with six topics in the syllabus, including coursework on the reparations movement, black queer studies and movements for black lives. A spokesperson for Governor Rhonda Santis says the course was rejected because it, quote, lacks educational value and historical accuracy.
Starting point is 00:42:43 The latest to be pulled for review, a book about baseball legend Roberto Clemente, a passage in Roberto Clemente's Pride of the Pittsburgh Pirates, references the racism he faced in the U.S. A is for activist, where L is for LGBTQ, T is for trans, and Z is for Zapatista, a far-left Mexican terrorist group. This book was found in six school districts, Broward, Hillsborough, Orange, Lake, Pinellas, and Monroe. Listen, I'm going to say this one more time. Elements of critical race theory are not taught to five-year-olds. They're not. It's not taught to eight-year-olds.
Starting point is 00:43:28 It's not taught to ten-year-olds. Not My Idea, a book about whiteness, which was found in elementary schools in Orange, Lake, Hillsborough, and Broward counties. We will not teach that racism is a white person's problem. We will teach that it is a problem for all to tackle. We will not inject it to a young child's mind that the contract binding you to whiteness will get you stolen land, stolen riches, and special favors. Well, I hope that has you upset
Starting point is 00:44:12 because there are some things that need to make us upset. And for me, anybody and anything that defiles the minds of little children, defiles their minds or their bodies. You have to confront it. You have to stop it. Jesus said, it's better that a millstone be hung around your neck and you be thrown into the sea than for what is waiting for you on the day of judgment for those who harm little children. And so Christians ought to be furious, indignant that these perverts are daring to put pornographic books and films into schools with little children and then fight against godly men and women who are trying to remove those books and films.
Starting point is 00:45:03 We are up against just hardcore evil in this country. It's Satanism. It's wicked. And Christians need to get some backbone and confront it and fight it. That's why I'm standing behind our governor here. I'm not going to criticize him. I'm going to support him. I get tired of people criticizing the warriors on the front lines. No warrior is perfect. No warrior is perfect. And what we see so many times, and I've seen it over 25 years, are the people who should be supporting the warriors that are out on the front lines,
Starting point is 00:45:44 they're sitting back in their recliners taking pot shots at them. Right. And not doing anything. You know, we put up with it here. I get used to it. But it is irritating. You know, when you're putting yourself out there on the line and you're being attacked by the enemy. And then you
Starting point is 00:46:06 have critics coming from you, from your side. It's very irritating and demoralizing. So I'm standing with the governor. I'm standing with him in this fight here in the state of Florida. He is actually doing something. I've waited for years to see somebody actually do something. Instead of just speeches. Or we're going to put it in our political party platform. We're against porn for children. Okay. We'll do something about it.
Starting point is 00:46:39 This governor is doing something about it. Using the power of his office in order to implement the agenda for righteousness. Do you know what else he's doing? These places in the state that are having drag queen story hours and drag queen dances for little children, where they bring little children in. If it's a public facility that has a liquor license,
Starting point is 00:47:07 he's stripping them of their liquor license. That's using the power of the office in order to- He's doing the right things, Doc. It's not amazing. It's not radical. It's just common sense. He's taking a stand and he's fighting for the kids in this state. And I back him and I support him. And I just wanted you today to see what we are seeing here in the state of Florida, because you're not going to see it watching the news networks. No, they're not going to let you see anything positive coming out of Florida, but here in the state of Florida, we're seeing a lot of positive stuff. Starting point is 00:48:00 And it's reflected in the number of people that are moving here each day. Governor DeSantis in his state of the state speech said that Florida is the number one state for what he called in migration, meaning more people are moving to Florida than percentage wise than any other state in the union. Why is that? Well, we've always had sunshine. We've always had oranges. We've always had beaches. What's changed in recent years? We've opted out of wokeism here in the state of Florida. Okay, well, you go ahead and do that because you're going to spend your entire life paying their taxes. They're going to take your guns away from you. They're going to vaccinate you. You're going to
Starting point is 00:49:30 go through so much persecution. You go ahead and do that. I'm not doing it. I'm going to live here in the state of Florida where it's free. And I'm going to fight for governors like Ron DeSantis who want the state to stay free. And then maybe perhaps when people see what's happening in Florida, maybe people in other states will wake up and say, we want our state to be like that too. But it's going to take probably a generation if we can last that long. If we last long. But I'll tell you what, it would be great to say President Ron DeSantis.
Starting point is 00:50:01 That would be music to my ears if we could say those words, President Ron DeSantis. That's it for True News. Thank you for watching. We'll be back tomorrow.
