day in Florida as the Sunshine State is enduring a week of liquid sunshine from a tropical depression passing over us. Hey, good afternoon, Rick. Glad to have you with us. Breaking news right now with Hunter Biden and the jury having made their determination here that he is guilty on all three counts regarding the firearms charges. And so this is the latest from the New York Post. As you see there, the headline, he faces up to 25 years in prison. He's the first child of a sitting president to be convicted of a crime after a federal jury today found him guilty

of lying about his drug use in order to buy a gun. And so, Rick, you have some comments on this, I'm sure, as we get into the story. What a pathetic, sad state our country is in. Both candidates have a checkered record right now with the law. And, you know, I don't like what was done to President Trump, but he's got, what, 34 convictions on him. I don't like...

It bothers me, you know, that Mr. Biden is now a convicted felon. He's a drug addict. He's now a convicted felon. The world is looking at America saying, what has happened to the USA? Right. Do we not have any statesmen left in this country? I believe we do, but they don't dare attempt to run for office because they'll be mutilated. Right. And so we're left with this. And it's just a sad, pitiful state of affairs for our country.

And, you know, the media, I quite frankly was surprised that the jury found him guilty. That is surprising. But the media, as I was listening to the reports after the jury read their verdicts and right away the television news network reporters were saying there's little chance mr biden will serve any time in prison right so they're they're preparing the american people um that he's going to get a very light sentence because he's a drug addict yes and that this is his first conviction. And therefore the judge will go light on him. Well, I think in New York that was President Trump's first conviction too. So are they going to go light on him? No, because he's a Republican and the Bidens are Democrats.

And you remember my rule, Rick, Democrats don't go to jail. They go on vacation. That's right. They go on book tours. Right. So there were three charges that he was found guilty on. The panel of six men and six women deliberated for about three hours all day yesterday and then just for a little bit today, convicting the 54-year-old Hunter for making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm.

That's charge one, making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federally licensed firearms dealer. And the third charge, possession of a firearm by an unlawful user of or addict to a controlled substance. And so the jury deliberated after a full day and came back this morning saying, we feel like Hunter Biden is guilty of these three charges. But, you know, the charges that he's not going to be tried on or anything like that is his involvement with Burisma, with the Chinese or anything like that. He's never going to be charged or convicted on anything related to that.

And so this is the sideshow that keeps you from looking to all the clowns that are working in the circus. Not only is he not going to be convicted, there's not even an investigation underway. Right. So, you know, it's not a good situation here. Well, listen, I'm getting, Doc, I'm getting an alert from our control room that my internet signal is weak so i may if i drop out i will call back as soon as i can get to another location okay this week's going to be this is going to be a challenging week because there is a serious uh large storm moving over florida and the entire state is going to be drenched uh south florida is expected to get up to 15 inches of rain

here it's supposed to be somewhere between somewhere around five inches which would make it about one inch per day uh and i just got an alert on my phone that the rain will be starting here in the next 20 minutes um no it's been it's been moved we're in good shape uh the next 20 minutes. No, it's been moved. We're in good shape. The next 60 minutes. So we'll be able to get through this. But anyhow, I decided to stay home because I was expecting that there would be heavier rain right now. And I thought, well, I'll just work from the house. But the heaviest rain is supposed to be coming tonight and tomorrow and Thursday. So anyhow

I'm just alerting everybody we could have interruptions because even at our office in Vero Beach we tend to lose internet connection and electricity. I have two internet services here, but they're both affected by storms right and so that's that's the problem well the hunter biden story is the breaking news for today but of course we have other news as well don't we rick we do and there's some big stories coming out of australia and and also europe regarding bird flu. We'll start with Financial Times, which is reporting that the European Union has signed a deal to purchase 40 million doses of bird flu vaccine for 15 European countries. The EU's executive arm announced a contract on Tuesday procuring up to 665,000 vaccine doses, which can be adapted to any bird flu strain, from Australia-based manufacturer CSL. So, Chris, the deal includes a further provision for another 40 million vaccines over the next four years but then when we look

at australia voice of america news reporting australia locks down farms as avian influenza spreads there it is doc we predicted a month or two ago farms would be locked down right and it's and so none other than victoria victoria the you know the uh the australian province that led the way during covet for extreme measures so they are now locking down farmers and birds and everything else also equipment farm equipment so voa is reporting bird flu continues to spread in the australian state of victoria where more than 500 000 chickens have been euthanized strict quarantine zones listen to this farmers farmers in america listen to this strict quarantine zones restricting the movement of birds and farm equipment have also been put in place australian health authorities say bird flu spreads mainly among wild wild water birds, so forth. And then we have this short clip from a news

report by Sky News Australia. This is the headline. Supermarket caps egg sales amid bird flu outbreak. So, Doc, they're now limiting how many eggs you can buy in Australia. Right. And you said this would happen. You predicted this would happen. Well, it's in place already in the first country, Australia. We've got a we've got a small, short video clip of a news report in Australia announcing the limitation on the purchase of eggs in Australia. Supermarkets have placed restrictions on the purchase of eggs over fears of a potential

shortage following the bird flu outbreak. Coles has confirmed customers would be limited to the purchase of two cartons except for customers in Western Australia. Experts warn up to 600,000 egg-laying chickens may need to be culled to stem the spread of the virus. Now, Rick, it's my opinion that Australia is just a giant lab experiment in order to test any pandemic ideas that they come up with. They tried in Australia first and see how it flies. And if it works really good, they implement it at other places. We saw that during COVID, didn't we? We did. So they use Ukraine to test the vaccines on innocent people, on children and orphans,

on poor children. But then they use the Australians to test the police state measures to see what kind of reaction that they get. Will the Australians, will they accept it? Will they resist? Will they go along with it? What kind of reaction are they getting?

Any pushback? So let's keep an eye on farm lockdowns. Have you ever in your life heard of farm lockdowns? Have you ever heard of governments ordering farmers to wear protective clothing? Right. Have you ever heard them quarantining equipment before? That was what stood out to me in that previous story there, that they were actually quarantining equipment now. I didn't know equipment could carry bird flu, but apparently it can, or at least they want us to believe it can.

Well, I'm assuming that they're implying that maybe the tires have bird droppings on them, you know, something, you know, feathers. What is it that's on the equipment that it can't be moved from one location to another? So if you're a farmer and you have to move your machinery from one farm location to the other. You're not able to do that in Australia right now. That's right. At least in Victoria, in the state of Victoria.
