Question. Have you accepted God's gracious offer of a sin amnesty? I'm Rick Wiles. I want to talk about it. Deepen your faith, disciple your family, defend your freedom. Welcome to Rick Wiles today. News analysis and commentary, fresh Bible teaching about the kingdom of God, preparing you to be remnant ready for the final day. Here is Rick Wiles. Well, this is the day which the Lord hath made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Hello,
Starting point is 00:01:01 everybody. I'm Rick Wiles. And the reason that I'm on television is to make radio people prepared for the Lord. Jesus Christ is coming back for his one holy, universal, and apostolic church. And I'm here to help prepare you for the second advent of Jesus Christ and the full manifestation of the kingdom of God. Presently, you and I are living in the kingdom of heaven while we're on this old earth, but a new earth and a new Jerusalem are coming someday. In the meantime, you and I must shine brightly, taste salty, and love everybody in this present age. Our question today is, have you accepted the terms of God's sin amnesty? Dr. Raymond Burkhardt and I will talk about it today. Before we open our discussion, I want to remind you that you can watch this episode again at rickwiles.com. Also, Doc and I host another daily program where we analyze and comment on national and
Starting point is 00:02:15 international news and trends, and you can watch it at truenews.com. One more thing you should know, this daily Bible study is based on my new book, Final Day, 10 Characteristics of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. So you can get a copy and follow along with me in this book. Now in the back of the book, at the very back of final day, I included a short chapter titled God's Sin Amnesty. Now for you, God's sin amnesty expires the second you draw your last breath into your lungs. For the world, Almighty God's sin amnesty expires one second before the start of the final day. Every passing day brings us one day closer to the expiration date of God's merciful sin amnesty. Apostle Peter said the final day would come suddenly and unexpectedly, like a thief who barges into your house after midnight and sets your house on fire, engulfing
Starting point is 00:03:28 you and everyone there in consuming flames as you sleep. The thief in the night is the day of the Lord. This is what the scripture says. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, When the final day arrives, God shall judge the secrets of all people. He will do it by Jesus Christ according to his gospel in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel Romans 2 verse 16 Jesus Christ is both the mediator of our salvation
Starting point is 00:04:38 and the mediator of our judgment God the father has committed to Jesus Christ, the Son, the authority to execute judgment on the final day because he is the Son of Man and hath given him authority to execute judgment also because he is the Son of Man. John 5 verse verse 27 the judgment of all men and women who lived on earth from the beginning of time will occur on the final day all will stand before the supreme judge of the universe the second coming the day of the lord the last day the judgment seat of Christ, the great white throne of judgment are synonymous. Together they are the final day. It all happens when Jesus Christ returns. He will judge every human and reward them accordingly for what they rightly deserve.
Starting point is 00:05:40 For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of his father with his angels, and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Matthew 16, verse 27. Therefore, you need to take full advantage of God's sin amnesty now while it is still in effect. What is the sin amnesty? Well, let me tell you the true story about the day the Holy Spirit spoke it to me in August 1998. The Holy Spirit whispered in my heart, there's something I want you to say to the people. I asked him to reveal it to me. And the Holy Spirit instructed me, tell the people that I have declared a sin amnesty. Well, I was puzzled by this very unfamiliar term. And I replied, Lord, I have never heard of a sin amnesty.
Starting point is 00:06:40 What is it? And he answered my question with a question. The Holy Spirit asked me, son, what is an? And he answered my question with a question. The Holy Spirit asked me, son, what is an amnesty? Well, I want to tell you the rest of the story, but first I need to bring into the program, Dr. Raymond Burkhart to discuss the urgency of accepting God's sin amnesty. Hey, Doc, good to have you here. Rick, Final Day is a great book, but that chapter on sin amnesty. Hey, Doc, good to have you here. Rick, Final Day is a great book, but that chapter on sin amnesty really opened my eyes to some things when I first read it too.
Starting point is 00:07:11 And so I'm looking forward to you explaining to the audience out there today some of the things you learned in this process. Good. I'm interested in hearing what you saw when you read that last chapter, Sin Amnesty. You know, it's at the very back of the book after the ten chapters about the second coming, the characteristics of the Lord's second advent.
Starting point is 00:07:38 But then after the ten chapters, I have the Sin Amnesty. And it was something the Lord gave me in 1998. And it was an instruction for my ministry. Proclaim that there's a sin amnesty. Doc, I'd never heard that term, sin amnesty. I thought, how can I preach something I've never heard of? What are people going to say when I go around talking about a sin amnesty? But then the Holy Spirit asks you a question. Yes, so he asked me, well, what's an amnesty?
Starting point is 00:08:09 And I said, well, that's easy, Lord. That's when a government declares that there's a grace period. That's really what it is, a grace period, where if you have broken a certain law, you have a certain amount of time to turn yourself in voluntarily. You have to go to the government and voluntarily turn yourself in, admit what you did wrong, and then the government just wipes it off the books. Right. Okay. Now, usually what happens with an amnesty, let's give you an example, taxes.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Let's say a government says, we know that there are a lot of people that haven't paid their taxes in years. We're going to give you a grace period. You have six months to turn yourself in, confess that you didn't pay your taxes, and then pay the taxes. So there'll be a rush of people that will come in and say, yes, I haven't filed my taxes for three years. And here, I'm going to make this right and pay it.
Starting point is 00:09:19 But, Doc, what happens to the people who don't turn themselves in, who just continue breaking the law. Even though the government said, if you turn yourself in, we're not going to put you in jail. We're not going to arrest you. We're not going to keep record of it. We're not even keep record of it. And so if you don't turn yourself in and take advantage of the sin amnesty what happens is when they catch you and they will right sometimes the penalties are double what they were without the amnesty yes they you know literally throw the book at you as you know the
Starting point is 00:09:56 term throw the book because the attitude is the government gave you an opportunity to make things right to make things right without a penalty, and you didn't take advantage of it. Therefore, when you get caught, it's going to be twice as bad. Well, then how does an amnesty, Rick, differ from what would be a pardon? We talk about Jesus pardoned our sins, right? How is a sin amnesty different than a pardon, let's say? Let's talk about on the legal side, in a pardon or probation. People get probation,
Starting point is 00:10:34 talking about court systems, they get probation or they get a pardon. In both of those, probation and pardon, the individual is guilty. They committed the crime, the individual is guilty. They committed the crime. They were found guilty. And with probation, they get a sentence.
Starting point is 00:10:55 The judge says, hey, you're going to serve five years, but I'm going to put you on probation. If you don't misbehave during those five years, you know, you won't have to go to prison after that. You got you got a five year probation. You're still guilty. You're still guilty. And if you if you just look at the judge wrong during those five years, he's going to put you in prison.
Starting point is 00:11:16 OK. Right. And then there's pardons. A pardon is usually like a presidential action where a decree is issued by an executive like a president saying this person has been pardoned from any crimes that they committed. They still are guilty, but they're not going to be prosecuted. They're not going to be arrested. A probation is typically there's been a trial. With pardons, it's usually before trial. Like somebody, let's say a president of the United States knows that somebody is going to go to prison and he'll issue a pardon and the government will just stop the prosecution. That's not always the case, but usually it's before a conviction. Probation is after a conviction. Amnesty is awesome, Doc. Amnesty is the government says, we're not going to have a trial. We're not going to arrest you.
Starting point is 00:12:21 We're not going to book you down at the police station. We're not going to take a mugshot of you. We're not going to take you into the courthouse. You're not going to be questioned. We're going to act like you never did it. That's called expungement, where your record is expunged. That means they literally wipe clean the judicial records that Doc Burkhart never committed the crime. Doc Burkhart never broke the law. Whereas probation, it's you did break the law. You've been judged.
Starting point is 00:13:03 You've been judged. You've been found guilty, but we're not going to put you in prison. Pardon is we know you did break the law you've been judged you've been judged you've been found guilty but we're not going to put you in prison pardon is we know you did it we didn't have the trial yet but the the chief of the state or the government whatever says let him let him go but everybody knows you did it right amnesty is no you turned yourself in voluntarily and admitted that you're a lawbreaker, and we're going to let you go. And there's not going to be any record of it. Your records have been expunged. So the government knows you did it.
Starting point is 00:13:37 You know you did it. But now you have a requirement. You have to come clean, if you will, and say, yes, it was me. I did it. You don't even have to give a reason, whatever it might be. You just have to confess. You have to confess, and then we move on from there. But our amnesties, Rick, are they just kind of without end? I mean, can you- No, there's a deadline.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Can they just go on forever? Yeah, there's a deadline. And going back to what you were saying, what's awesome about it is, yes, the judge knows that you did it. The government knows that you did it. But once you confess it and they expunge your record, from that point on, Doc, the government acts like you never did it. Right. There's no record that you ever committed a crime it's not like they can go pull out a folder and go well right here it is we had all the evidence um you know uh maybe we'll bring him up for trial two years from now right we'll use we'll
Starting point is 00:14:39 keep this evidence and and we'll sock him in prison a year or two from now. That's not how expungement works with an amnesty. And so God's amnesty is when you come to him and confess to the great judge who already knows that you're guilty. He saw you do it. He heard you say it. He watched it from the time you've been born until this very moment. He has seen every single thing you've done wrong, all of it. And God says, if you confess to me that you are a lawbreaker, the 10 commandments, and you say, yes, I've broken the commandments. I deserve punishment. But I heard, I heard a story. I heard a preacher say that your son, Jesus Christ, went to the cross at Calvary and that he was nailed to the cross
Starting point is 00:15:38 for the bad things I did. And they killed him. He died for the things I did. And they killed him. He died for the things I did. I heard this story and I believe it. And I heard that he was raised from the dead and that he has returned to heaven and he is sitting beside you right now and he's praying for me. He's sitting at your right hand praying for me. And you pray to God and you say, I heard this. This is the gospel. I've heard this gospel, this good news. And I believe it. And I am confessing with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. And I'm asking you to forgive me. And I'm asking you to write my name in your book of life in heaven's court.
Starting point is 00:16:32 I'm asking you to erase all of the sins I've committed, all the crimes, everything I've done wrong. I'm asking you to erase it. And God says he will. He'll blot out your sins. And he'll remember them no more. That's right. It says if we confess our sins, if we own up to it in the sin amnesty, that he'll forgive our sins and also cleanse us from all unrighteousness, make the record clean inside of our hearts too. And so, but there's a window of opportunity
Starting point is 00:17:05 for all amnesties, right? Yes. Yes, a government will set a deadline. It could be 30 days, 60 days, six months. They'll just say, here's the amnesty period. You have to turn yourself in during that time period. And if you don't, and you get caught after that, and you will get caught,
Starting point is 00:17:23 it's going to be a lot worse for you. So what is it for us? Individually, for each of us, for you, for me, for you, your opportunity to accept God's sin amnesty expires the moment you take your last breath. When you close your eyes and go to sleep for eternity, when you leave this world, depart from this world, and your soul is separated from your body,
Starting point is 00:17:58 that is the end of your opportunity to accept the sin amnesty. Now, another group of people will be those who will be alive on the planet the day that Jesus Christ returns and he's in the air. There is a special group of people that will be alive. When I say special,
Starting point is 00:18:17 I mean, they will get to see something that is astounding. They will see the Son of God arrive in the atmosphere on clouds of glory. For them, because they've not physically died, Doc, the sin amnesty expires the second before Christ appears. When they look upon His face. Because when He has appeared, there's no more mercy.
Starting point is 00:18:43 There's no more forgiveness. You know, I mentioned in the book, there are no hankies in heavens. Why would you need handkerchiefs in heaven? There's no crying. There's no tears. There's no repenting. There's no repenting in heaven. In fact, I said in the book, Final Day, that at the great white white throne of judgment there may be a sign that says no repenting allowed there's no repentance ends the moment christ returns there's no more repenting your fate is sealed for eternity when you close your eyes and your soul departs from your body or when Christ appears, your eternal destination is sealed forever.
Starting point is 00:19:34 You can't change it after that. And so now is the time of God's sin amnesty. And he is graciously appealing to people all over the world. They come to me. He's a good father. He's a gracious father. He's a loving father. He doesn't desire to punish anybody. He doesn't desire that anybody be lost and sent to the lake of fire. He's a loving father.
Starting point is 00:20:03 But he has rules. He can't ignore sin. He can't ignore it. He can't dwell with it. He can't accept it. He can't coexist with it. One time, Doc, I was with a man. He was a radio host. I'm not
Starting point is 00:20:20 going to say his name. He had a national radio show. Politically, he was on the left the far left and he had me on his show as a guest and it was someone you know back-and-forth debate it was okay he was he was respectful and things and several weeks later he called me and he said I'm going to be in your city. Would you be willing to be with me? I said, sure I would.
Starting point is 00:20:50 So it was on a Friday night, and I had dinner with him. And I take that back. I met him. He spoke. He spoke at like a hotel. Right. And he asked me to meet him after his event. Then we went someplace,
Starting point is 00:21:05 got a light sandwich or something. It was later at night, maybe 10 o'clock at night. And he asked me a lot of questions. He wanted to talk to me about my faith. So when we were ending that evening, he said,
Starting point is 00:21:26 you want to have breakfast? I said, sure. I'll meet you for breakfast. So, Doc, I met him again. And in that conversation, he asked me, he goes, why are you Christians so against gays and lesbians and homosexuals? And I said, we're not. He goes, oh, no, you're really strict about it. And I was quietly praying, and God, what's the answer?
Starting point is 00:21:52 How do I answer this man? And the Lord told me what to say. And I don't remember the man's name now. I'll just say, you know, John. I said, John, do you ever have social events at your house? Oh, sure. You invite friends? Sure. Okay, so when you have these social events at your house, at your home, do you have rules? Oh, sure. So if somebody's behavior is out of line and against the rules and standards of your home, what do you do? He goes, well, you ask them to change.
Starting point is 00:22:30 And if they continue doing it, you ask them to leave. And I said, our Heavenly Father is the same way. He has a home. And he invites you to his home. But he has a home. And he invites you to his home. But he has standards. And if you're unwilling to live in his house according to his standards, he'll have to ask you to leave.
Starting point is 00:22:54 He got real quiet. He got real quiet. This is the sin amnesty. God is saying to you, if you want to live the way you are living, that's your choice. But if you want to live with me for eternity, you have to accept my house rules. Sounds pretty simple to me.
Starting point is 00:23:19 It's real simple. And this is really what it comes down to. Some people are too rebellious, too stubborn. They will not surrender their will. They will not submit to God's authority. Just out of rebellion. They would rather spend eternity in the lake of fire than to submit their will and obey God's rules. Where others hear this message and run to the Father and say, yes, I want to be in your house forever.
Starting point is 00:23:54 I want to be in your presence forever. Forgive me, clean me up, wash away these sins. That's the difference. And so there are people watching you and me right now, and they're at that decision right now. They have to make a decision. Are they going to forever resist God, or are they going to submit and surrender to His will, to His rules, because He has rules. And here are the rules. They're in this book.
Starting point is 00:24:27 They're called the Holy Bible. And you can say anything you want to about this Bible. But they're his rules. Right. And he's not going to change them. Because you don't like them. He doesn't care. He's not going to change his rules.
Starting point is 00:24:43 He's a loving father. but he is a strong father. He's a strong father but he's a loving father. He's got a hand of steel and he wears a velvet glove. You determine how he touches you. That's good right there. Yes. You determine how he touches you.
Starting point is 00:25:09 For the rebellious, he's got a hand of steel. For the brokenhearted, the submissive, he's got a velvet hand. Yes. Same hand. But you determine how God's going to respond to you. And he does not want to punish any of his children. Not one. There's not one person watching. There's no sin that you've committed that God won't forgive. Not one
Starting point is 00:25:36 sin. And there's some of you you knew the Lord. You got saved years ago, but you fell back into some kind of sin and you've broken your fellowship with him because you think he's angry at you. He's not angry at you. He loves you and he wants you to come home.
Starting point is 00:25:59 And he's waiting on you to come home. And you need to take advantage of this right now. This is the sin amnesty. His arms are wide open. He's waiting on people to call upon him. He loves to forgive. He just loves it. He loves to forgive.
Starting point is 00:26:17 He loves to just wrap his arms around his children and love on them. But you have to make the first move. You have to say, I'm a sinner. I need forgiveness. I need my sins washed away. I can't do this on my own. I can't clean up myself. I don't have the ability. You and I, neither one of none of us have the ability to save ourselves. We can't make our sins go away, Doc. We can't. It's impossible.
Starting point is 00:26:50 We're fallen creatures, and we have to have a perfect Christ, a perfect Savior live inside of us. See, when you and I were born, our bodies came out of our mothers alive, but our spirits came out DOA, dead on arrival. And so we go through life with a dead spirit until we hear this gospel and we believe the gospel. We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We believe that he was raised from the dead. We believe that he's alive.
Starting point is 00:27:30 We believe that he's coming back. And when we believe and we confess with our mouth and we're baptized in water, he quickens our dead spirit and our spirit comes alive. That is being born again. Your dead spirit is born again. And now your spirit is alive. That's what it means to be born again. And you must be born again to see the kingdom.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Without being born again, you cannot see the kingdom of God. And so this is your opportunity today to call upon God to save your soul and to write your name in the book of life. Do it today. Don't go to bed tonight without getting it done. Get this finished with God and then go find a pastor who will baptize you in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Thank you for watching Rick Wiles Today. Starting point is 00:28:45 This Gospel Godcast was sponsored by Christian Brethren who are eagerly awaiting the final day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns to establish His kingdom that shall have no end. Hey, welcome back. This is part two, and this is where Doc and I will delve into today's headlines. We've changed the way we're doing things. You know, for years I put the news out there first as a way of fishing for soul.
Starting point is 00:29:16 We put the news out and we said, okay, we'll bait the hope with news. And the Word of God got pushed to the back. Well, we have changed things around. The word of God is to the front now. And I'm not fishing anymore with news. I'm just not. I'm not fishing anymore. Those of you that the Lord has brought into this ministry because of our news content, you don't need to be caught for the kingdom. You're already in. But I'm not going out there fishing for lost souls using news anymore. So I'm flipping this around, and we're putting the Word of God first,
Starting point is 00:30:01 and we're fishing in new water holes and new lakes and rivers and ponds. But for the second part of the program, we're going to talk to our faithful friends and supporters who have been with us for years, and we will keep you updated and informed about what's going on in the world. Doc, you said during the break you had an amnesty story. I sure do. And it makes it real to me because I know what an amnesty is, and specifically an amnesty box. Have you ever heard of an amnesty box? No.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Okay. Well, if you've ever served in the military, whatever branch of service it might be, you go through boot camp. And they take you to some godforsaken place out in the woods usually so you can go through basic training. That place for me in the summer of 1983 was Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. And so we rode the Greyhound bus from Springfield, Missouri to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and we arrived at the processing station. Processing stations that first stop
Starting point is 00:31:03 and you usually spend the night there before they transfer you to your basic training unit. Well, so they bring you into the barracks and they explain what's going to be happening over the next several days. And then up front, there's this big white box with a hole in it, right? And the drill sergeant explains to all the recruits that have arrived, he said, now, you see that box at the front of the room? If you have brought anything with you, pocket knives, pipes, matches, lighters, pornographic magazines, anything, if you brought any kind of what he called a contraband with you, you have until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning
Starting point is 00:31:49 to put it in that box and nothing will ever be said or done or anything about it. We don't care. But if you keep that and you go to your basic training unit and you're found with any of these materials, had a list of all the different things that you could get busted for,
Starting point is 00:32:09 you could get into some really big trouble. You could be court-martialed and forced out of the military. You don't want to do that in boot camp. You're just getting started. And so through the night, you would hear guys get up during the night. You'd hear something drop in the amnesty box. And that happened all through the night, you would hear guys get up. During the night, you'd hear something drop in the amnesty box. And that happened all through the night. I guess people were getting more fearful as the night went on.
Starting point is 00:32:35 But it was a practical example of what you were talking about in the first part of the program today, that there was an opportunity for those that had sin, if you will, a contraband in that case, that was against Army regulations, but they also had a deadline. And the deadline was 6 a.m. Because at 6 a.m. you're getting processed over to the other facility.
Starting point is 00:32:57 And if you got caught there, you're out. You don't get any of the benefits of being in the military, you don't get any of the training, you don't get to serve. You are basically pushed out of the benefits of being in the military. You don't get any of the training. You don't get to serve. You are basically pushed out of the military with a disarmable discharge. Shame. And so when you were sharing today, it was brought back to my memory,
Starting point is 00:33:14 that specific amnesty box that we had. I've never heard that. I want to just say I have put my sin in the amnesty box. Good. Yeah, I've put it in there. And I don't have to worry about it anymore. Did you drop anything in the amnesty box? I didn't have it.
Starting point is 00:33:31 I was on a break from Bible college. Oh, okay. So you came in clean. Yeah, the only thing I brought with me was my Bible. And that wasn't on the contraband list. But they had a display at the front that showed all the different things that had been put in the amnesty box in the past, like long knives, nunchucks, brass knuckles, all sorts of different things that people had put in in the past.
Starting point is 00:34:00 It was really amazing that they actually thought they could bring that to boot camp and everything. But it touched me when you were sharing the story in the first half. You know what? We've got that box that we can put our sin in. We don't have to worry about it anymore. God's not going to be looking in it. He didn't want to know what's in it anymore.
Starting point is 00:34:18 He doesn't need it. But he says there is a deadline. And when that deadline comes, I have to judge the sin. Yes. I have to judge the sin. I have to judge the contraband in your life. So anyway, I thought I'd share that with you. That's a really good lesson, a real life lesson on the sin amnesty. Couldn't come up with a better analogy. Well, we're going to talk today mostly about the economic condition of the world but before we get to it I I want to share with you a very touching story that I I saw over the
Starting point is 00:34:54 4th of July a holiday weekend and it brought tears to my eyes it was a 100 year old World War II veteran. And he was interviewed by his local Fox TV 13 station here in Tampa Bay, Florida, not too far away. And as he was talking about his life, reaching this milestone of 100 years, he broke down and began to cry, talking about the condition of the United States of America. We're gonna start with the Tampa Bay Fox 13 report on his birthday and then we'll show you the
Starting point is 00:35:42 part where he broke down. He has seen a lot in his long life and now he can add another pleasant memory. Wednesday, family and friends gathered to honor this World War II veteran in Plant City and he has quite the war stories to share too. FOX 13 photojournalist Emily Felt sat down with Carl Dekel as he celebrated his 100th birthday. Happy birthday to you, Carl. Happy birthday to you. Most important thing in my life was serving my country. I don't think I could take away from that. I went in the Marines in September of 40.
Starting point is 00:36:18 They shipped me straight out to Guantanamo, which was a Navy base, and put me in a machine gun company. That's my pride and joy. It says voluntary inaction. That's real nice. But I think I remember the funny thing. We stole one of the engineers' big generators one time that they were working on the bridge right outside where our gun position was. We took it and put it in a big
Starting point is 00:36:52 foxhole. It was an honor for me to serve my country. And if I had to do it again and I was the same age, I would do it. I guarantee you. We were scared all the time. I don't care what anybody says. We were vulnerable all the time since Pearl Harbor particularly. Pearl Harbor was hit before we hit Guadalcanal and we had no Navy support, none whatsoever. Our supply ships left about four o'clock in the afternoon, and we had started landing on Water Canal before the sun comes up, and at four o'clock, all of our ships are pulling out. Why? They got word that the Jap fleet was coming in there that night. Anyway, the Lord brought me home and the Lord has just blessed me so. And here I sit at 100. They tell me I'm 100.
Starting point is 00:37:51 I don't believe it sometimes because I don't need to worry about age. I'm not going to. I just going to keep on keeping on. Wow. Not many of them left, Doc. No, there's not. Not many of them left, Doc. No, there's not. Not many of them left.
Starting point is 00:38:08 The greatest generation. But there was more to the report, and that was just the report that aired on broadcast. They had additional content that Tampa Bay 13 put on their website. But not on the TV station. No. And so now we're going to show you, as Paul Harvey used to say,
Starting point is 00:38:28 the rest of the story. And this is where he actually broke down because of what he saw was happening in our nation today. I don't know. I've lived a good life. I've had a lot of happiness. Happiness. Smiling.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Telling everybody that everything was beautiful every day. If I went into my church and didn't say everything was beautiful, they'd think I was sick. And I'm not that way. I mean, I sincerely believe in this old world that everything is beautiful. I mean, if I wake up in the morning and see these plants out here and all those flowers that are in there and the green grass on the ground, that's beautiful. And people don't realize what they have.
Starting point is 00:39:27 They bitch about it. And then nowadays, I am so upset that the things we did and the things we fought for and the boys that died for it, it's all gone down the drain. Our country's gone to hell in a handbasket. We haven't got the country we had when I was raised, not at all. Nobody will have the fun I had.
Starting point is 00:39:56 Nobody will have the opportunity I had. It's just not the same. That's not what our boys, that's not what they died for. I just, it's just not it. I'm so sorry. I'll be all right. It just takes me time to get over it
Starting point is 00:40:26 I just why me sitting here like this all this going on it's crazy Emily it's just just not it's just not the same
Starting point is 00:40:42 that isn't what we fought for. Oh, well. I should be worried about it, I guess. I'm 100 years old, they say. That one will be my fight. I worry about it. Yes, I worry about it. That one will be my fight.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Well, okay. You, I worry about it. That will be my fight. Well, okay. You just remember everything's beautiful. And live every day to the fullest. Just enjoy everything you possibly can. Doc, the people in this country who hate America, the leftists who hate our heritage, hate our revolutionary founding as a nation, they hate the Constitution,
Starting point is 00:41:41 they hate the Declaration of Independence, they hate our Christian heritage. They hate everything. They ought to be ashamed of themselves that they've put this hero through such torture. I mean, it's wonderful that he lived to be 100 years old, but it is a shame
Starting point is 00:42:07 that he also has seen the fall of his country. That he's going to go to his grave knowing that what he fought for no longer exists. I've said this before. I've felt like I should just go to Arlington National Cemetery and just go from grave to grave and apologize and say we lost it. Sorry it's gone. You fought and died for nothing. We lost it. On our watch, we lost the country. It's gone. Doc, over the holidays, the city of Orlando. Yes, I saw the story after you told me. I don't know if folks of you know this. The city of Orlando, the government, apologized for offending residents by celebrating the Fourth of July.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Yes. They said, we didn't mean to offend people. We know that there are people in the city who don't want to celebrate the Fourth of July. When you reach this point that a city in the South is apologizing for celebrating the birth of the nation then what's left what what's left what why do we have fourth of july now what's the point of it because the very thing that the fourth of july stands for has been taken from us yes has been criminalized has been framed as evil, has been criminalized. Has been framed as evil.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Yes. That's really what it's been framed as. That's right. That July 4th, 1776, that was an evil event in the minds of a lot of people out there. That's right. Social media was full over the weekend of people trashing the flag, trashing America, making fun of us as a nation. This is the Democrats, the political left. And yes, I understand that there are issues
Starting point is 00:44:12 that we have here in our country, but when have you ever wept for your country like that man wept for his country? The reason why he was weeping was because he knows what's been lost. Yes. The left doesn't weep for the country. They don't.
Starting point is 00:44:28 They don't love it. No. See, we've said for years that the left despises America. Well, Doc, they used to deny it. But now they openly embrace it. Yes. So they've come out of the closet on hating America also. Right.
Starting point is 00:44:49 And they said, now that you mention it, we do hate the country. We're not going to hide it anymore. And it's just a shame that that veteran has to watch his country disintegrate like this. Right.
Starting point is 00:45:04 Our flag nowadays is no longer the stars and stripes, but the multicolored, I don't even call it a rainbow flag because they go way beyond the rainbow now. Every month they add a new stripe or color to it for some other sin that they want to promote out there. You know where this is going? See, there's a revolution underway.
Starting point is 00:45:22 This revolution went into high gear in the Obama years. And where we're at, Doc, is there will be a new flag. There will be a new Constitution. There will be a new Declaration of Independence. It will repudiate everything from 1776. And if you don't salute the gay flag, you're not patriotic in the new America.
Starting point is 00:45:53 I can see that day happening. If you don't stand up when the new gay homosexual national anthem is played, you're going to be unpatriotic. That's how far this is going. Complete repudiation of 1776
Starting point is 00:46:12 and the embracing of wickedness, of evil. This is not a political battle. It's a spiritual battle. It's not left and right. It's a spiritual battle. It's not left and right. It's not Republican, Democrat. It is good versus evil, God versus Satan. It's as simple as that.
Starting point is 00:46:36 That's where we're at in this country. So I wanted to share that with our audience because it touched me over the weekend. There are very few World War II veterans still alive, and I've never met one that I didn't break down and start crying. Every time I meet one, I start crying. I have enormous respect for them. There's a reason they were called the greatest generation. And every time I meet a World War II vet, I thank them and I tell them, because of you, I lived a good life. I had a good life because of you. And I've always, I've told them every time I've met one,
Starting point is 00:47:24 that's what I've said. Thank you. I've had a good life because of you. Because. And I've always, I've told them every time I've met one, that's what I've said. Thank you. I've had a good life because of you. Because if you didn't go to war against Nazism and Shintoism, I would not have lived in this wonderful country with the freedom that I had. What kind of world would we have? Oh, I'll tell you what it would look like. It would look like what we have right now. Yes. It just would have happened 80 years ago.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Because Nazism won. A radical homosexual military movement is what took over Germany, and that is what has taken over the United States of America right now. So we're going to switch over. Our main topic is the economy and the first one I want to start with is a warning from Mark Zuckerberg to Facebook employees. That's right Rick. So Facebook parent Meta is cutting its hiring plans. That's a nice way to say we're cutting back as preparation for worst downturn in history. So Meta Platforms Incorporated CEO Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly asked his employees to brace for one of the worst
Starting point is 00:48:41 economic downturns in recent history. So what happened? Well, Zuckerberg told his staff on Thursday that he was hoping to turn up the heat on them. Reuters reported on Thursday, citing an audio recording of an internal Q&A session. He said, if I had to bet, I'd say that this might be one of the worst downturns we've seen in recent history. And on trimming the workforce,
Starting point is 00:49:03 Zuckerberg said, realistically, there are probably a bunch of people at the company who shouldn't be here. Part of my hope by raising expectations and having more aggressive goals and just kind of turning up the heat a little bit is that I think some of you might decide that this place isn't for you and that self-selection is okay with me, he reportedly said.
Starting point is 00:49:24 How do you think that was received by all those little Facebook snowflakes? They were probably hiding under their desk, if they had a desk or in a corner somewhere. Well, I'm sure he provided them some safe space that they could go into a room with blankets and doll babies and stuffed animals to cry thinking that they may be laid off. Well, that's changing, Rick, because these billionaires now are waking up to the fact that times, they are changing. It goes on to say in that article,
Starting point is 00:50:00 last month, Chief Product Officer Chris Cox composed a memo to employees which called for a meta to prioritize more ruthlessly and operate leaner, meaner, better executing teams, according to Reuters. Cox noted fierce headwinds and said teams should not expect vast influxes of new engineers and budgets. In other words, it is up for a big change. When you see Facebook, the darling of technology for, what is it, 15 years now? You know, Facebook, I remember the first time my daughter started using Facebook. It was just a bulletin board, really, a fancy bulletin board back in 2006, 2007,
Starting point is 00:50:39 and now what it's become today. I have a view, Doc, that Zuckerberg's done with it. I think he's moving on. He's moving on. He's done with it. And he's done with the users of Facebook, too. Yes, he's not going to put more money into Facebook. He's done with it. He's going to milk the last drops of money that he can get out of it,
Starting point is 00:50:59 but he's not putting more money into it. Because there's a rule among billionaires. You want to stay a billionaire. And the only way you can do that is someone else has got to pay for it, right? That's right. Well, the next one is CNBC3. Are these major economies are headed into recession in the next 12 months? Yes. In this report here, it's talking about the major economies worldwide that are headed toward a recession. And technically, Rick, we're already in a recession here in the U.S. Many of the world's leading economies will fall into a recession within the next 12 months as central banks move to aggressively tighten monetary policy to fight surging inflation, according to the chief
Starting point is 00:51:39 economist at brokerage firm Nemur Holdings. Right now, central banks, many of them have shifted to essentially a single mandate, and that's to get inflation down. Monetary policy credibility is too precious an asset to lose, so they're going to be very aggressive. Rob Suburban, who is also head of global markets research, Asia X Japan, told CNBC's Street Signs Asia on Tuesday. And what that means is front-loading rate hikes. We've been pointing for several months
Starting point is 00:52:11 about the risk of a recession, and we've bitten the bullet, and now we have many of the developed economies actually falling into recession, he added. In addition to the U.S., Nomura expects recessions in the Eurozone, the U.K., Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Canada next year, the brokerage firm said in a recent note. Rick, technically, a recession is any time you have two subsequent quarters of reduction in GDP.
Starting point is 00:52:42 Yes. We experienced that at the end of June 30th. We had two successive quarters. Is it two or three? I was told two, according to the reports I was looking at over the weekend. So by that definition, we are in a recession as of July 1,
Starting point is 00:53:01 this past Friday. And so the recession's already here. And they're going to talk about recession sometime in the future. The train has already arrived at the station. Did you notice that the countries that are going into recession are the same countries that put sanctions on Russia? Yes. They're the ones
Starting point is 00:53:18 that are experiencing. They shot their own toes off. Yes. And now they're trying to figure out how to get out of the mess that they've created. The next one, this is the Bank of England's financial stability report for July 2022. We're not going to read the entire report, but we do have some excerpts from it published by the Standard newspaper, Bank of England to test test the UK banking system on deep recession. Right. So basically, this report is all about the recession that is
Starting point is 00:53:53 really that's underway right now. So, Doc, when they do a test, when a central bank tests the banking system, they're putting them through a tabletop exercise to see how much stress the banks can withstand. And so their tabletop exercise is going to be deep stress. Well, and the particular article here says, the Bank of England is to test the ability of the U.K. financial sector to withstand deep recessions in the U.K. and global economy later this year as part of its regular stress test, sounding an ominous note for Britain.
Starting point is 00:54:37 It said that banks must increase the amount of money they set aside to absorb shocks to head off further economic dives. Starting a year from now, banks will be required to set aside a sum equal to head off further economic dives. Starting a year from now, banks will be required to set aside a sum equal to 2% of their assets as a buffer, as opposed to the normal 1%. Now, hammering another nail into the coffin today with the release of its FSR, the Financial Stability Report, for July, the bank said it expects households and businesses to become more stretched over coming months. Since the last FSR, which we published in December last year, the global economic outlook has deteriorated markedly.
Starting point is 00:55:13 Global financial conditions as a whole have tightened significantly. And that's Andrew Bailey, the governor of the Bank of England, told a news conference earlier today. Now flagging the cost of living crisis, the report stated that global economic conditions have worsened and this has put pressure on the finances of households and businesses. The bank said the economic outlook for the UK and across the globe has deteriorated materially and that like several other financial authorities around the world, it has increased interest rates
Starting point is 00:55:44 to help slow down price increases, as markets have been volatile and financing conditions have tightened. These higher prices, weaker growth, and tighter financing conditions will make it harder for households and businesses to repay or refinance debt. And instead of saying repaying or refinancing debt,
Starting point is 00:56:03 we should be saying paying and financing what we're doing with Russia right now. That's right. Because it's households that are paying for that. It's small businesses that are paying. They're calling it war now, even though no one's declared war. We're in a war economy. Yes, that's what they're saying now. They call it a war.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Even Mr. Biden said we're in war mode now. We had the rapid inflation had already started before the war. Yes. So the rapid inflation was caused by quantitative easing of central banks for many years since the 2008 banking crisis. It eventually the chickens came home to roost, and so we saw prices skyrocketing in the latter part of 2021 and early 22. Then the war kicked in, and they threw the sanctions on Russia, which then brought a screeching halt to a large part of the economy. So now you've got stagflation. You have inflation and a stagnant economy. The worst of the situation that you could have.
Starting point is 00:57:14 And did you notice they said preparing for deteriorating conditions later this year. So there's a heads up. They're expecting it later this year. And that's tied into what happens with Russia and Ukraine. The Bank of England said that developments related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine will be the key factor that will affect both the global and UK outlooks, particularly if energy and food prices rise further. Stronger, more persistent inflationary
Starting point is 00:57:40 measures than currently expected might lead to weaker economic growth globally, further sharp tightening in global financial conditions, and the potential for further volatility and stress in financial markets, the bank said. Doc, I don't know if I – I know you and I didn't talk about it today. Maybe you saw the news about it over the weekend, but a private bank owned by Peter Schiff. Yeah, I saw that story. The Puerto Rico government, the banking regulator, seized control of it over the weekend.
Starting point is 00:58:10 Yes. Because they said he did not have enough capital reserve in the bank. So we're already at this place where they're starting to shut down banks based on the capitalization of the bank. So there's your first casualty. You're gonna see more of this. So all these smaller banks and smaller banking systems, you're gonna start seeing either get shut down
Starting point is 00:58:37 or swallowed up by larger ones. Well, I wouldn't necessarily say small banks are gonna go out. Sometimes the safest banks to be in are small banks. When we know of one, right? And we know of, yeah, one right here in Vero Beach. Some of the big banks are going to be in extremely precarious conditions with the amount of debt that they're carrying, low capitalization.
Starting point is 00:59:04 Find bank ratings. Find out how strong is your bank. What is the rating of your bank? Simon Black, if you know who he is, he's a good person to subscribe to his material. I've been following his newsletter for years, and he provides a lot of that kind of input about the banking system. What's interesting on the Peter Schiff bank situation is he had somebody lined up to inject capital into it. And they wouldn't let him do it. And they wouldn't let him do it. That's right.
Starting point is 00:59:36 They wanted him and his bank to fail. Peter Schiff has been a vocal critic of the Federal Reserve for many years. Look, they put his father in prison years ago. The IRS went after his father, put him in prison. You know what his crime was? He published a book on how to beat the IRS. No wonder they put him in prison.
Starting point is 01:00:02 A book. His crime was the book. He published a book. And they went after him. So they're going after Peter Schiff now. And pray for Peter. He needs our prayer and our support right now. The next story, oh, to give you an idea of what's happening,
Starting point is 01:00:23 how weak the economy is becoming, Scandinavia's SAS airline filed for bankruptcy. Right. This is on the heels of a pilot strike that grounded most of its flights. And if you don't fly a plane and you're in the airplane business, you can't make money. And so it forced them into Chapter 11. One of the first casualties I think we're going to be seeing here, we're going to be talking about strikes in other places in the world too and how that might impact the topsy-turvy economy that we have going on. You probably saw over the weekend how many thousands of flights were canceled. Yeah, so like 2,500 flights around the country
Starting point is 01:01:03 that were either canceled or significantly delayed. Nobody talks about the impact that COVID vaccines is having on the airlines. Right. Because you get two things. You had pilots that were forced out. Yes. Had to retire because they refused to be vaccinated. That depleted the pool of pilots.
Starting point is 01:01:27 And number two, you've had pilots suffer vaccine related injuries. Yes. Heart attacks, strokes, heart inflammation, paralysis. And there's no discussion about it. Why is it that suddenly there's a pilot shortage? Right. Where did that come from? And remember the last time we had the opportunity to fly, the thing I noticed in the airport were I didn't see any young pilots, Rick. Right.
Starting point is 01:01:54 No one wants to be a pilot now. Why would you want to be one? There used to be a glamour to it. There used to be almost a celebrity status to being a pilot. But now no one wants to be a pilot because they don't want to put up with the nonsense. That's right. And there were a lot of pilots that refused to be vaccinated. That's right.
Starting point is 01:02:15 And so they said, I'm done with it. I've got better things to do than deal with the airline. That's right. And I think that explains why there is so much chaos in the airports right now. JPMorgan Chase said that there is a possibility that oil could hit $380 a barrel. Wow. Doc, we're now, if that happens, we're looking at $20 to $25 a gallon for gasoline. And it's all self-inflicted, isn't it? Yes.
Starting point is 01:02:47 The West did it to us. Again, the fruit of the foreign policy of America's ruling class, the CFR boys, the Trilateral Commission guys, Europe's Bilderberg guys. I mean, this is Klaus Schwab's people. These are the brilliant people who rule the West.
Starting point is 01:03:15 And this is the mess that they've given us. And they can only rule through chaos, not through peace, right? Yes, but the chaos is catching up with them. And if oil goes to 380 dollars a barrel i mean just a week ago we were talking about 200 right and then it jumped it doubled almost doubled we can't even you can't even comprehend the impact it would have on the economy. Everything shuts down. Yes. How would we get our employees to work every day if they were paying $25 a gallon?
Starting point is 01:03:53 Oh, they could drive their electric car, Rick. Yeah. Their $75,000 electric car. Yeah, but how do we get them here? And when they come to me and go, Rick, I can't afford gasoline anymore. You gotta give me a big raise. Well, where do I get the big raise? How do I do this? Every employer is going to be faced with the same situation. And then you have the impact on farming and food prices and transportation, not even counting just the employee side. It costs money
Starting point is 01:04:21 to get food to the grocery store. It costs money for those tractors to plow fields and to harvest in the fall. It's going to impact everything. Those prices, those costs have to be passed on or they don't move. That's right. How about every product that's made with petroleum? Yes. The whole
Starting point is 01:04:39 economy will come to a screeching halt worldwide. All thanks to the CFR boys who came up with this incredible plan to force Russia to attack Ukraine. Really brilliant plan, isn't it? Look at the mess that they've created. Again, look, Joe Biden, tell me one thing, one thing Joe Biden has done that's made our life better. He is a disaster, an absolute disaster. It's not so much him. He doesn't even know what's going on. It's the people that manage him. They have turned this country into a disaster and it's worldwide now people are suffering because of their idiotic policies we'll keep on going bloomberg uh putin signs order to
Starting point is 01:05:32 move uh seghalin to oil project to russia russian entity so this is a lng liquefied natural gas plant corporation, and over the weekend, Putin seized it. He nationalized it. Right. But one of the biggest owners of this LNG facility is Shell Oil. Yes, that's right. So Vladimir Putin signed a decree to transfer rights to the Sakhalin 2 natural gas project to a new Russian company, a move that could force foreign owners, including Shell, to abandon their investment in the facility.
Starting point is 01:06:13 That decree cites threats to Russia's national interests and economic security, according to a statement dated June 30th issued by the Kremlin and signed by President Putin. Stakeholders have one month to say whether they'll take a holding in the new company and those who opt out may not be fully compensated, the statement said. And so they do have an opportunity to stay in the deal here, Rick,
Starting point is 01:06:37 but you know the political pressure is going to be on Shell and these other partner companies not to move forward with it. Of course. And, you know, Russia's only, once again, this isn't a defense of Russia. It's just reporting the facts. Russia's doing what's in its best interest by doing this.
Starting point is 01:06:54 Yes. Because they can't have their resources controlled by another entity either. Germany sees control of Gazprom in Germany. Right. The German, the Gazprom facilities in Germany and the corporation and its bank account. So Putin
Starting point is 01:07:07 is just doing what they're doing to him. Again, their stupid foreign policy is creating a disaster in the world. And for all the companies that have departed Russia, Russia didn't force them out. They just left. They just said, on their own.
Starting point is 01:07:24 McDonald's says, we're just not going to sell hamburgers to those Russians anymore. Big deal. Russia just started a new McIvans. All 800 McDonald's franchises are open. Somebody in Russia ended up owning a chain of McDonald's restaurants. Probably one of the billionaires
Starting point is 01:07:48 that the West stole their yacht from them. Right. And Putin just said, hey, you want to own McDonald's? They're not losing out of this. They're actually gaining. The next story, Japan will have neither oil nor gas from Russia, says Medvedev. Now, I'll tell you the background on this.
Starting point is 01:08:07 This Sakhalin LNG facility produces natural gas that is exported to Japan. Japan imports 9% of its natural gas. Right. But 100% of that 9% comes from Sakhalin. So there's an immediate drop of 9% of Japan's natural gas. Which means they have to get that from somewhere else or cut back one of the two. Exactly, there's gonna be a 10% come back
Starting point is 01:08:42 where they gotta find another supplier. So the Japanese were saying today, well, we have contracts. Right. We've got a contract. Well, we're going to get our gas. We've got a contract. Well, Mr. Medvedev said, I don't think so. No, that was the old company you were dealing with. This is a whole new company we've set up. You've got a contract with an old company.
Starting point is 01:09:06 This is a new company. Talk to Shell. Yes. See if they'll deliver your gas. And so I'm going to do quote number two. Yeah, translated from Japanese into Russian. This means there will be significantly less oil on the market, and its price will be much higher. Moreover, it will be higher than the predicted astronomical
Starting point is 01:09:26 price of $300 to $400. Listen to this. It will be higher than the predicted astronomical price of $300 to $400 compared with the dynamics of gas prices but Japan will not have any oil, no gas from Russia as well as participation in the Sokolin 2 LNG project, he wrote on his Telegram channel. And that was Mr. Medvedev that said that on his Telegram channel.
Starting point is 01:09:52 The Russians have clearly said, we are stopping all trade with countries that oppose us. We're not selling you anything. And from their perspective, isn't that a patriotic thing to do? A very patriotic thing. Their attitude is, if you're going to trash talk us, you're going to put sanctions on us, you're going to sell weapons to kill our soldiers. We're not selling wheat to you.
Starting point is 01:10:21 We're not selling liquefied natural gas. We're not doing anything. We're not going to do business with you. We're not selling liquefied natural gas. We're not doing anything. We're not going to do business with you. You're not our friend. What's wrong? I mean, logically, what's wrong with that attitude? The West is so arrogant, they can't believe that Russia would do it. Yeah, keep selling your stuff to us while we blow you up. Yeah. So the Russians have just taken a stand and said, no, there are a lot of countries in the world, and we're just going to do business with the countries that are friendly to us,
Starting point is 01:10:52 which makes sense. The next one, Bloomberg. Germany faces limited options if Nord Stream flows don't return. Right. There is a scheduled maintenance about to take place on some of the Nord Stream pipelines and that's causing some worried minds in Germany. A key pipeline
Starting point is 01:11:13 delivering Russia's natural gas to Europe may not return to full capacity after planned maintenance this month, Goldman Sachs Group said, echoing the concerns of German officials. Nord Stream 1 is set to shut for works on July 11th through 21st, tightening a market that's already seen prices soar in recent weeks, with Moscow having already slashed flows through the pipe to just 40 percent of capacity. They've
Starting point is 01:11:39 already dropped it 60 percent, Rick. Any more to withhold supplies for longer would severely hurt Europe's efforts to refill stockpiles for winter. Let's go down to 40, number 40. Germany, Europe's biggest economy, said last month that the drop in flows through Nord Stream would make it difficult to meet stockpiling targets. Officials in Berlin expressed concerns that the pipeline may not return to normal capacity. Germany is already preparing for further disruptions. The country has cut its energy dependence on Russia, which accounted for more than half of its gas imports last year, buying more liquefied natural gas and importing fuel from Norway at full tilt.
Starting point is 01:12:19 Okay, now look at that, buying, importing fuel from where? Norway. Okay, let's look at the next article. All right. So what's happening up in Norway? According to the Financial Times, Norway strikes, starting to cut off gas supplies
Starting point is 01:12:32 to the UK within days. Hey, aren't we all friends, Rick? So Germany was saying, hey, we're not worried. We're just going to buy more gas and oil from Norway. But the Financial Times in London says there's a labor strike in Norway
Starting point is 01:12:50 and gas is going to be cut off to Great Britain. Right. This week. Yeah, at the end of this week. So Norway has warned that gas exports to the UK could be shut off this weekend if a worker strike escalates with up to 60% of the Scandinavian country's supplies under threat from industrial action.
Starting point is 01:13:13 Equinor, Norway's state-backed energy company had already shut down three oil and gas fields since the strikes began on Monday over pay claims to compensate for rising inflation in a move that helped propel European gas prices to the highest level in four months. Norway's Gasco, the state-owned pipeline operator, told the Financial Times on Tuesday that in a worst-case scenario, deliveries to the U.K. could stop totally, with striking workers planning to extend the shutdowns this Saturday to a key distribution hub that supplies the UK. And that threat to Norwegian supplies comes as European countries are already rushing to fill storage ahead of the winter.
Starting point is 01:13:56 Europe has turned to Norway, traditionally its second biggest gas supplier behind Russia, to plug the gap left after Moscow cut flows following its invasion of Ukraine earlier this year. All right, let's read 44 and we'll skip 45, but there's an important note in 44. So the UK has also become an important conduit for moving supplies onto Europe over the summer with its export pipelines to Belgium and the Netherlands running at speed to send excess imports of liquefied natural gas and Norwegian supplies into continental storage ahead of the winter.
Starting point is 01:14:30 Okay, let's just leave it there. So let's pick this apart. So not only does the UK get their gas cut off this week from Norway, but so does Belgium and Netherlands because they get their gas routed through Great Britain from Norway. Right. So there's no direct pipeline from Norway to Belgium and the Netherlands. And they've been trying to get it there as fast as possible to build up their storage ahead of the winter when they are really scared the Russians areians are going to do a 100 cut off and now the labor
Starting point is 01:15:10 unions have gone on strike makes you wonder how much putin paid the labor unions in norway to go on strike because i mean the timing of it could not be worse of course the union realized that if you if you want to get your contract approved, there's not a better time. If you're in the energy field, there's not a better time to go on strike than right now. We'll go one more. Let's see.
Starting point is 01:15:39 This is a 46. No hot water for Germany. Gas shortage could limit access. Yeah, when you told me this story earlier today, I was like, is this how bad it's going to get? In the northern city of Hamburg, the state environment minister, Jens Christen, announced that the hot water supply for private households could be reduced.
Starting point is 01:16:01 If there were an acute gas shortage, hot water could be made available in an emergency only at certain times of the day, he told the paper Weltansamtag. He said the maximum room temperature allowed by the district heating grid could also be lowered as well. Lots of places in Germany, lots of places in Europe, you don't have hot water heaters in your home. It is piped in. Because back in the old days, energy was pretty cheap, and it's just easier to heat up a whole bunch of water and ship it out than to do it individually in homes. However, now you've got a situation where they're actually talking about,
Starting point is 01:16:37 well, we're just going to cut back hot water here, folks. Is this getting the message across to our audience about how serious this is developing and how quickly it's happening? I mean in a space of what about a week? Yes. We've gone from there could be shortages and now we're talking about well there may not be any hot water. Yes. For the whole country. So this is deteriorating rapidly. And it didn't have to happen. It didn't have to happen. You're absolutely right.
Starting point is 01:17:20 Number 48, gas shortage emergency would push Hamburg, Germany, to ration hot water. Down to number 51, Wall Street Journal. Germany to bail out energy suppliers ahead of winter without Russian gas. So you're going to see government bailouts of energy companies. Too big to fail. Yeah. This is a week.
Starting point is 01:17:40 What a week. Yeah. Here we are at the beginning of the week. Who knows what we're going to be reporting by Friday. Stay tuned. Keep watching us. We'll keep you informed as best we can. Take advantage of the time that you have right now to bolster your supplies.
Starting point is 01:17:56 If you operate on natural gas in your home or business, get your tanks filled now. Stockpile as much as you can in food get build up your supplies as much as you can with the resources that you have because it is going to be a very lean winter the only thing that could change it and I mentioned this to Doc this morning, and I've watched these globalers for 24 years and I've seen this pattern. They may push this thing to the line where it can't get any hotter, where you're thinking the lid on this pressure cooker is going to blow off and hit the ceiling. It cannot get any hotter right and then they suddenly open the valve make a peace deal with putin give putin eastern ukraine western
Starting point is 01:18:54 ukraine becomes gay ukraine no i'm serious it'll be the gay ukraine you're right all right it will it is just cut me off they had they had pride parades over the weekend, Doc, in Kiev. They're in war. And homosexuals flocked to Kiev to march for homosexual rights while they're having a war. So don't rule this out that when we get down to the very last second when you think the Russian nukes are coming any minute, that they make a peace deal. That's a possibility. I wouldn't rule it out.
Starting point is 01:19:32 I've seen these guys do this kind of stuff in the past. But this is the most dangerous time I've seen in my lifetime. That's it, we're gonna wrap it up for today. Thank you for watching. We'll be back here tomorrow. God bless you. Thank you for watching Rick Wiles Today.
