The Russians are becoming more creative and um telling us what they plan to do when the nuclear war begins and uh i'll let doc give you the details well rick uh newsweek is reporting that moscow should carry out a nuclear strike in the heart of europe to cripple the continent's energy facilities that's's coming from a Russian politician speaking to a Kremlin media outlet. Andrei Gurlov, a lawmaker with the Duma and a former deputy commander of Russia's Southern Military District, made the comments during an appearance on Russian One TV program evening with Vladimir Solov.

We have a clip here in just a moment but i wanted to read this part of it gerlov returned to this theme saying he had discovered that 50 to 60 percent of europe's hydrocarbon supply is located in the netherlands it's not clear what figures he was citing he did not name a city but rotterdam is a hydrocarbon gateway where 13% of all the energy in Europe passes through. But what's important in this article is that he mentions that that is a specific target. Yes. That's what's important. A target for nuclear warheads.

Right. And he's saying if we hit this one particular city in Holland, we can do irreparable harm to all of europe and he's saying destroy about 50 to 60 percent of the energy supply with one strike whether it's 13 percent or whether it's 50 50 it would be a major impact on the european continent would be now we have a video and of course it's in russian we've got English subtitles, and we're going to read the subtitles for those of you who are listening to us by audio. So let's go ahead and watch. I found that 50 to 60 percent of hydrocarbon supply in Europe is located in Holland. Can you imagine?

Now, what he said was instead of taking out major cities, taking out entire countries, they would directly hit military production sites, factories, defense contractors. And it's not limited to Europe either. No, anywhere in the world. Anywhere in the world anywhere in the world anywhere in the world they would take out the defense contractors here in america boeing lockheed raytheon raytheon now of course if

you're living in a city that has a raytheon plant or a boeing plant or or any of the defense contractors well you'll probably be vaporized but what he's saying is that they're not going to take out every single city they're just going to take out the production operations of the west and they would do it in rapid fire. It would be multiple warheads raining down simultaneously on production facilities. Rick, you know, I was around in the waning days of the Cold War and the Soviet Union. You have a little bit more experience in that, a few years on me on that. Can you recall in any time in your memory the kind of nuclear rhetoric that we're seeing right now? Never. From the Soviets back in the old days. Khrushchev never talked like this.

The worst things he said were things like, we will bury you. Right. Nothing like this. And yet this is now happening every day. Oh, yeah. And you can see the facial expression on him. He's angry. He's like, we're going to do this.

So the Russian host just stepped it up a couple notches and said, you're not even going to have time to implement this plan that we read in the telegraph. We're going to take out your factories. We're going to take out your defense contractors. We're going to take out your railroads. We're going to take out your railroads. We're going to take out everything, your ports,

everything that you use to attack us. If it's being used to attack us, we're going to take it out. What he was saying was we're not attacking your farms. We're not attacking your urban centers. We're not attacking your schools your colleges your hospitals like the israelis we're just going to attack your war machine until there's no war machine left so let's go through this telegraph article because these are coming back to back right the telegraph was published yesterday and i I don't know the date of the—

So it says that logistical routes have become a key priority since NATO leaders agreed to deploy 300,000 troops to be kept in a high state of readiness to defend the alliance. And they had made this agreement last year in Vilnius, Lithuania. Existing plans have U.S. troops landing at Dutch ports before boarding trains that transport them through Germany and onwards to Poland. Now, in the event of a Russian invasion of NATO, U.S. troops will be shipped to the port of Rotterdam before being transported eastward. Arrangements are also being made behind the scenes to expand the routes to other ports to ensure the ground line of communications cannot be severed by Moscow's forces. So if NATO forces entering from the Netherlands are hit by Russian

bombardment or northern European ports destroyed, the alliance is set to shift focus to ports in Italy, Greece, and Turkey. And from Italian ports, U.S. troops could be carried via land through Slovenia, Croatia, to Hungary, which shares a border with Ukraine. Now, similar plans exist to transport forces from Turkish and Greek ports through Bulgaria and Romania to reach the alliance's eastern flank. And plans are also being drawn up to transport troops via ports in the Balkans, too, through Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
