Starting point is 00:00:00 This is True News. The truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth. So help us, God. Robert Herr, the man appointed by Attorney General Garland to investigate President Joe Biden assistant questioned by law enforcement over classified documents repeatedly appeared in Hunter Biden emails. That's right, Rick. So a former top aide to President Biden, who reportedly was questioned by federal investigators as part of the probe into the president's handling of those classified documents that were found this week, exchanged emails with Hunter Biden on numerous occasions, and that's according to a Fox News digital review. The person in question, Kathy Chung, Biden's executive assistant when he was vice president and the Pentagon's current deputy director of protocol, and she is among several former aides to the president being interviewed
Starting point is 00:01:25 by law enforcement. NBC News is reporting yesterday. Chung and the others questioned reportedly, Chung and the others questioned reportedly helped move materials and belongings from Biden's office at the end of the Obama administration in early 2017. Now, throughout much of her five-year tenure working for Mr. Biden during the Obama administration, Ms. Chung regularly communicated with Biden's son, Hunter Biden, transmitting information about his father's schedule and passing messages directly from the then-vice president, according to emails obtained from Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop and verified by Fox News Digital. Now, Chung's relationship
Starting point is 00:02:07 with Hunter Biden also appears to date back before she worked for his father. The email showed that Hunter Biden recommended Chung for the executive assistant role when the previous holder of the job, Michelle Smith, departed the White House in the spring of 2012. Okay, Doc, let me think about this. Hunter Biden, who has very cozy, lucrative business deals with high-level Chinese communists. Yes. One of his business partners was the former chief of the Chinese spy agency. That's true.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Their CIA, the top dog. And what we're learning here is that Kathy Chung, who was Biden's personal assistant, the one who handled these classified documents, is now over at the Pentagon. Working for the Secretary of Defense. Yes, Director of Protocol. And what we're learning here today is that she got her job with Joe Biden through Hunter Biden, who hangs out with high-level Chinese communists. So the question has to be asked, who is Kathy Chung? And who does she really work for? I mean, it's a fair question to ask, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:03:33 Doc, I'm not going to be shocked if you call me some night and say, hey, did you hear the news? Joe Biden and Hunter Biden have been exposed as agents of communist China, and they've been facilitating the movement of Chinese spies in the government offices. You think I'm going to be shocked if you tell me that news? No, I mean, we've speculated that. That's the whole idea here. The Bidens have been working for the Chinese for decades. But now it's just coming out.
Starting point is 00:04:16 I mean, we've been talking about Hunter Biden's laptop now close to, what is it, four years? Or is it longer than that? Well, 1920. So three years. 20, 21, 22. We're in on the fourth year now. But there's still people out there that deny that a laptop even exists and the information is Russian disinformation. Well, those people are also influenced by Chinese money.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Yes. And so their job is to keep the public confused about the extent, the depth of the Chinese infiltration of not only the U.S. government, but all of society. The stuff that the Bidens have done with the Chinese, if this was the 1950s, can you imagine? Try to imagine that Dwight Eisenhower in the White House in the 50s. That they had found class? That Eisenhower's son was doing business with the Soviet Union. That would be comparable, wouldn't it? Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:32 And that Eisenhower himself had phone calls with Stalin, you know, two, three hour long phone calls. That they were, you know, I don't know if Stalin was still around in the 50s, Khrushchev, whoever was running the Soviet Union. The outcry, the shock would have been so great. Not only would Eisenhower have been forced to resign, but I mean, the FBI would have been over at the White House putting handcuffs on him. All this has come out about Biden, and nothing happens. No.
Starting point is 00:06:14 Nothing happens. And the reason nothing happens is the Chinese influence is deep inside the U.S. government. It's in the FBI. It's in the Justice Department. It's in the news media. It's in the FBI. It's in the Justice Department. It's in the news media. It's everywhere and everybody's frozen. The people that are in the agencies who are patriots are blocked from doing anything because the Chinese have their people embedded in all these agencies. I don't know who Kathy Chung is,
Starting point is 00:06:52 but I have a feeling we've not heard the end of this story. Maybe she knows Fang Fang. We'll be finding out more here. Maybe we will. I'd be surprised because of the information that's been coming out now about Robert Herr. Yeah. Now, he was a Trump-appointed attorney for Maryland.
Starting point is 00:07:12 He actually replaced Rod Rosenstein. So when Rod Rosenstein moved into the Trump administration, Robert Herr filled his slot, and then Robert Herr later came into the Trump administration as well. So this was the guy that Attorney General Garland appointed to investigate Biden's mishandling of classified documents. Right. And so the announcement was made yesterday by Attorney General Merrick Garland. It actually surprised me that Merrick Garland came out so quickly and appointed a special counsel. And then I got to thinking,
Starting point is 00:07:49 okay, why did he come out so quickly? Okay, because they haven't been quick to move on anything else, so why now? And why the appointment of this particular individual? Well, the story's, I think the scandal's a lot deeper than we know,
Starting point is 00:08:06 and Mr. Garland's trying to get ahead of it as fast as he can because, look, he has known about this at least since November. That's right. They all have known. Which means they know about things that we're not gonna know about until probably March or April.
Starting point is 00:08:24 Yes. They know right now today. Things that are happening right now. Yes. They already know it, and we're not going to know about it until March or April. So he knows how bad it's getting. The question is, who is Robert Herr? I was listening to Fox Business radio this morning, and I heard Devin Nunes, the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who is now running Truth Social for President Trump. I heard him
Starting point is 00:08:54 on the program with Maria Barbaroma. Did you hear it? Yes, sir. And he was quite, he knew exactly who Robert Herr was. And he said, you know knew exactly who Robert Herr was. And he said, you know, you shouldn't be excited about the fact that he's been chosen to investigate Mr. Biden. And he went into detail about Mr. Herr's involvement in the Christopher Steele dossier.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Right. involvement in the Christopher Steele dossier, which was the fake dossier that Hillary Clinton paid Christopher Steele, a former British spy, paid him to put together this fake dossier that said that President Trump was a stooge of the Russians. Paid for it. And everybody knows she paid for it. And yet, Hillary's not gone to prison. Nobody involved in that scandal has gone to prison. Adam Schiff is still in Congress. He did get yanked out of the
Starting point is 00:09:57 House Intelligence Committee this week. In all committees. All committees. But anyhow, we've got a video clip from Fox Business. We want you to hear what Mr. Nunes said today. And I will tell you also, and we'll get into this, I'm sure, later,
Starting point is 00:10:15 but this special counsel that was appointed to look at Joe Biden is somebody we're very familiar with. He is a Russia hoaxer himself. And I think the Republicans better check in. He has a lot of explaining to do because he was involved in the letter that was from the FBI to the public that said that we were going to endanger national security if we released that, released the memo at the time. Wow. And real quick, Devin, because we're running out of time, but this is the same crop of people, right? Whether it's the Russia collusion lie, the cover up of the Biden laptop, now the cover up of the documents, you called it dirty cops.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Yeah. Well, look, and dirty cops, and that's my point. Look, everybody's celebrating. Nobody should be celebrating any of this madness. There should have never been a special counsel for Trump. Obviously, what they're doing to Biden, they've now appointed somebody who has a lot of questions to answer. This special counsel, although they say he's a Republican, he should be questioned on his ties to the Russia hoax. You mentioned that Mr. Herr has connections to Rod Rosenstein, the former attorney general, who repeatedly put knives in President Trump's back when he was the assistant attorney general. Yes. But Mr. Herr was also connected to Christopher Wray, the current director of the CIA.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Right. So he is connected in several different levels to several different people that are have either served in the Trump administration or currently serving in the Biden administration. Breitbart did a workup on Robert Herr today asking who this guy is. President Joe Biden's mishandling of classified information, was among those at the Justice Department who had knowledge about the Russia hoax perpetrated on former President Donald Trump. Now, according to a Justice Department document, her is a former DOJ official who handled, participated in, or has personal knowledge of the FBI's relationship and communications with Christopher Steele, who authored the infamous dossier that paved the way for the Russian hoax. Now, Herr began his career by clerking for the late Chief Justice William Rehnquist after graduating from Harvard and Stanford. So he's got some really big educational credentials there, Rick. Herr was
Starting point is 00:12:43 then hired as the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General, serving as the top aide to Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General under President Donald Trump. Now, before that, he had also been a special assistant to Christopher Wray, who was leading the Justice Department's criminal division at the time and went on to become the FBI director. That's according to the Washington Post. Now, I was monitoring Bannon's war room and had Kash Patel on there. And he had some really strong words to say about Robert Herr that went even further beyond what Devin Nunes had to say. And so this is Kash Patel on War Room. Important thing I'm going to say tonight.
Starting point is 00:13:30 This guy, Herr, needs to be the first one subpoenaed by the new special select committee under Jim Jordan's authority on the weaponization of government. And do you want to know why? Because her, we have the receipts, Steve, and we're going to release them later, was sending communications to the Justice Department and Rod Rosenstein's crew arguing against the release of the Nunes memo, saying's a government gangster. He's now in charge of the continued crime scene cover-up, which is why the first congressional subpoena that has to go out for the Weaponization of Government subcommittee is against her. Wait a minute. The special counsel who's investigating Biden may himself be investigated. That's what Cash Patel is arguing for right there, that he ought to be, that he was sending communications within the Rosenstein's team at the time
Starting point is 00:14:35 when all this Russian collusion stuff. Trying to derail what Devin Nunes was trying to do. That's right. Remember the memo that Devin Nunes was trying to get out and trying to get published and get traction? They were derailing it. They were trying to take it off the tracks. And when he finally did publish it, a lot of the news media organizations like the New York Times, the Washington Post, they called it a joke. Yes.
Starting point is 00:14:59 And made fun of his memo, you know, to get the public not to pay attention to what the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said. You know, Kash Patel called Robert Herr a swamp monster, government gangster. Those are some pretty strong words there. So he's convinced that there's something deep going on there. You know, I want to believe that there can be somebody honest in Washington, D.C. that will do an honest investigation of things going on. But, Rick, I can't have that confidence. Isn't that a sad reflection on what's going on in our nation right now? When a country becomes so corrupt that everything is corrupt.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Yes. And that's where we're at now. There's always been corruption. Sure. Because men's hearts are evil. There's always going to be corruption. But we're now corrupted to the bone. There's no salt left in the country to stop the decay. And there's no light that's shining that exposes the decay.
Starting point is 00:16:17 This kind of goes back to what we were talking about yesterday with Medvedev's reference to catacomb, the restrainer. Who is it? What is it? Is it a person? Is it a thing? What is restraining the Antichrist from having full control appearing? And the second Thessalonians says that the restrainer will be taken out of the way. And there's been many viewpoints about who or what the restrainer is. What he presented yesterday is that either Russia itself or Putin is the restrainer that is holding back Antichrist in America.
Starting point is 00:17:07 Right. And, but I don't want to go in that direction, but what I want to say is, Doc, you know, I've been saying for the past, I guess the past year, the explosion of evil and wickedness in the world, especially in America and the West, it's so bizarre, it's so shocking that you have to go to extremes to come up with an explanation for this much wickedness. And not only the wickedness, but the apathy and the indifference to the wickedness and the many people in the public embracing the wickedness, but the apathy and the indifference to the wickedness. And the many people in the public embracing the wickedness and liking it and enjoying it. What is the explanation for it? And then when you think about what Mr. Medvedev said,
Starting point is 00:17:57 what he's implying is we are the wickedness. We, America, we're the wickedness. We, America. Right. We're the wickedness. And he, of course, he's got the viewpoint that his country is holding back,
Starting point is 00:18:15 restraining the wickedness, putting a fight up against this wickedness. But where this goes is that when the restrainer, whatever it is, that when the restrainer, whatever it is, whatever is the restrainer that holds back the Antichrist, when the restrainer is removed, wickedness abounds.
Starting point is 00:18:41 There's nothing to hold it back. Now, are we at the place where the church, Christendom, not the real church. The real church is true to God. Yes. The real church, the core, the true church is faithful to God. But the religion, the man-made church, it's apostate right now. Yes. It's weak. It's apostate.
Starting point is 00:19:16 It's fallen away. It's traded political access, traded the glory of God for political access. That's right. So is it so weak right now because of its compromising? Is it so weak it can't hold back, it can't restrain the wickedness because they've lost their savor. The salt has lost its saltiness. Its light has gone out. I'm saying this because we're sitting here and we're talking about the corruption in the country. The corruption is so deep.
Starting point is 00:20:00 It just seems hopeless. How can we stop it? Who do we call? how can we stop it? How can, who do we call? Who do we go to? What agency do you call out and say, I know you're still on this. I know you'll do something about this corruption. I don't know. Well, and we also have to keep in mind, too, that the Bible teaches that corruption is not a cause.
Starting point is 00:20:26 It is a symptom. The symptom of what? Well, the symptom of a people, of a nation that has decided to turn away from God, that has decided to turn their backs on God. And God basically says, okay, if that's the way you want it, fine. One of the symptoms of your disease, of your reprobate mind, is going to be corruption in government. Unlimited corruption.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Right. So the only remedy is for us to turn to God. That's the only remedy. But I'm of the opinion, we're so far down the road, I don't know if there is an opportunity for us to turn. But I always want to leave some hope out there. But when you see corruption so deep that you just say, I can't trust my government at all. I can't trust that the person I'm sending to Congress is going to be honest.
Starting point is 00:21:20 I don't know whether or not to trust the dog catcher now. Right. It's like we've said before. The bank robbers got elected as sheriff. Right. And when the thieves become the sheriff, the police chief, there is no law and order anymore. In fact, the danger is the people who are honest get prosecuted for investigating the corruption. That's what we have seen in the past several years.
Starting point is 00:21:50 If you challenge the corruption, you yourself may be investigated by the criminals who are in power. And it's so brazen now. They have no shame at all. They're out in the open with their corruption. They have no fear whatsoever of being held accountable, which means that their takeover of the country is so complete that they can brazenly walk around in public and strut and boast of their corruption and know that there's not one person capable of holding them accountable for their crimes. And the Biden family is a perfect example of that. I mean, from Joe Biden himself to his brother,
Starting point is 00:22:41 to his son, Hunter, I don't even know whether to trust Beau or not now, and he's dead. But the whole Biden crime family is the epitome of American political corruption. It's not limited to the Bidens, but they're the ones right now that are in power. And you've just got to know, Hunter Biden is laughing every night. He is laughing every night because he knows nothing's going to happen. He knows nothing is going every night. He is laughing every night because he knows nothing's going to happen. He knows nothing is going to happen. They have all the evidence. They have it.
Starting point is 00:23:10 They have his laptop. They know he did business with the Chinese communists. They know he sold Axis. They know his father was involved in the deals. Nothing has happened. They know that the classified documents were in the house in Wilmington. They know, you know, Hunter Biden claimed that he owned that house on credit applications.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Yes, he claimed that he owned the house that, you know. Well, if he didn't, then he committed a federal crime. That's true. That's fraud in a banking transaction. Yes, he claimed that he owned that home. In fact, his driver's license before the previous one listed the Wilmington home as his primary address. Well, maybe he bought it with Chinese money or Ukrainian money. Earlier this week, the new House Speaker, Kevin McCarthy, when he removed Swalwell and Schiff from all committees, not just the Intelligence Committee, all committees,
Starting point is 00:24:17 he made a startling comment about Swalwell. Eric Swalwell, the congressman that had the affair with Fang Fang, the communist spy. This is what he said. This is from Fox News. McCarthy says FBI briefing on Swalwell was so troubling, you wouldn't have him on any committee. That's right. Which is exactly what happened. Speaker McCarthy removed Swalwell from every committee in the House of Representatives. So House Speaker Kevin McCarthy
Starting point is 00:24:53 on Thursday defended his decision to keep California Democrats Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff off the House Intelligence Committee, arguing that Schiff openly lied about the Russian election interference, which is true, and a disturbing briefing he received from the FBI on Swalwell. He said,
Starting point is 00:25:11 if you got the briefing I got from the FBI, you wouldn't have Swalwell on any committee, McCarthy said in a press conference after one reporter questioned McCarthy's commitment to allowing Democrats to pick their own committee membership. What kind of media response did we get to this statement from the Speaker of the House? Can you imagine, just go back, you know, rewind one year, and Nancy Pelosi saying, naming a Republican congressman, saying, you wouldn't have that congressman on any committee if you got the briefing I got today from the FBI. Well, the media would go after that individual and they'll start digging and throwing up dust
Starting point is 00:25:53 and dirt and everything. And they wouldn't stop until that House member resigned. Right. But not a word. Other than Fox News, nobody's talking about it. Right. Well, Mr. McCarthy went on to say, you're going to tell me the other Democrats couldn't fill that slot. He cannot get a security clearance in the private
Starting point is 00:26:09 sector, McCarthy said. So would you like to give him a government clearance? So whatever the FBI told Speaker McCarthy, he realized that Congressman Swalwell could not even leave the House and go into the private sector and get a job that required a security clearance. Right. That's how severe it was. But what does that tell you about Swalwell? But it also tells me something about the FBI. Why did they let this go on for years? Why didn't they take action?
Starting point is 00:26:44 What prevented the FBI from arresting Swalwell? Well, they were never asked by Nancy Pelosi on what was going on with Swalwell. Well, I don't think Nancy Pelosi told the FBI. You can't trust Nancy Pelosi. That tells me the FBI was watching Swalwell for years. But what was holding them back? Who was holding them back? There were honest FBI agents who knew that Swalwell was involved with Chinese agents. They had him under surveillance.
Starting point is 00:27:18 They had suspicions about him. They watched him. They had a file on him. They couldn't take action. Somebody in the FBI blocked them. That's the real story. And it's the white hats in intelligence, FBI, that are the only reason why we probably know anything at all right now about Swalwell and his connections. Well, a story that will not go away. Even years after his supposed suicide in a Manhattan jail cell, Jeffrey Epstein is back in the news again. But this time with the latest lawsuit that was filed from the Virgin Islands that named several individuals that are being linked to Jeffrey Epstein and their sex trafficking issues there.
Starting point is 00:28:05 So this is a former Barclays boss, Jess Staley, is being linked to Epstein trafficking. Now, this isn't an unfamiliar name. We've talked about this individual before. Jess Staley, the former head of Barclays, had a profound friendship with the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. And notice the London Times called Jeffrey Epstein a pedophile. And their frequent emails even suggest that Staley may have been involved in Epstein's sex trafficking operation. And that's according to court papers filed in New York. Now, Staley stepped down as chief executive Barclays in late 2021
Starting point is 00:28:42 after an investigation by British regulators into his relationship with Epstein. He has been named in a lawsuit filed against J.P. Morgan by the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands, which alleges that the bank facilitated and concealed wire and cash transactions that were part of a sex trafficking scheme. Now, an amended complaint filed this
Starting point is 00:29:05 week alleges that J.P. Morgan turned a blind eye to evidence of human trafficking over more than a decade because of Epstein's own financial footprint and because of the deals and clients he brought and promised to bring to the bank. So this was a pay for play operation. They overlooked Jeffrey's indiscretions, if you want to call them that, because he was bringing clients to the bank. He was bringing customers to them. Now, the suit says that decisions were made by senior executives at J.P. Morgan, including by the former chief executive, Jess Staley, of its asset management division and investment bank, whose inappropriate relationship with Epstein should have been evident. It says Staley had a close relationship with Epstein while heading a division for clients
Starting point is 00:29:57 with at least $10 million in assets. That was the bottom there, Rick. Staley exchanged approximately 1,200 emails with Epstein from his J.P. Morgan account. Now, these communications show a close personal relationship and profound friendship and even suggest that Staley may have been involved in Epstein's sex trafficking operation, a lawyer for Staley said. Mr. Staley, a lawyer for Mr. Staley said, Mr. Staley was not involved in sex trafficking, and we have no further comment to make. The fact that this article here in the London Times, it just assumes that there was a sex trafficking operation. Well, finally. After all these years.
Starting point is 00:30:45 I mean, he's saying it out loud. Now, of course, he'll never, Jeffrey Epstein will never be charged because either he's dead or retired in Tel Aviv, one of the two.
Starting point is 00:30:57 But the fact of the matter is, now you have these different media outlets that say, you know what, he was a sex trafficker. And the lawsuit filed by the U.S. Virgin Islands names two banks, JPMorgan Chase and by association Barclays with Mr. Staley.
Starting point is 00:31:15 So two big global banks had knowledge of what Epstein was doing. Either participated in it or looked the other way because of the volume of money that these pedophiles were bringing in to the banks. Now, what I think is happening here, Rick, and it's just me spitballing here, I think they're throwing just Staley out there
Starting point is 00:31:41 to say, look, we got somebody in all this. We caught someone. Because remember last week before they fired the attorney general for the Virgin Islands, she had a list of eight names in her lawsuit. And after they canned her, they cut that list of eight names down to three, two of which we already knew, one of them being Jess Staley. There's no federal government agency going after the Epstein sex network? No, this is all in lawsuits. It's in...
Starting point is 00:32:15 Civil court. This is the U... I mean, this is the Virgin Island. Filing a lawsuit, a civil lawsuit. Yes. Not a criminal investigation. There will never be a criminal investigation because the criminals would be exposed and the criminals involve intelligence agencies at least one there could have been multiple i mean i i'm absolutely convinced that epstein was an Israeli spy,
Starting point is 00:32:47 an agent for the, let's say he was an agent for the Israeli spy agency Mossad. But he may have been, it may have been a cooperative effort. Maybe the Five Eyes were involved. Maybe the CIA and British intelligence and Canada and also maybe they were were involved. Maybe the CIA and British intelligence and Canada and also maybe they were all involved. Right. But there's no doubt in my mind. And they traded information. And they traded.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Or maybe Israel ran the operation and shared it from time to time. That was their currency. They had currency. But Epstein ran a blackmail operation. He rounded up young girls, 13, 14, 15 years old. They had a profile for them. They were from poor homes, broken families.
Starting point is 00:33:44 They targeted these girls. They promised them a famous career in the modeling agency business. And they brought these girls in, you know, got them off the street. These were the little girls of moms and dads somewhere. But moms and dads where the marriage had broken up and it was a dysfunctional home. And just Lynn Maxwell, they had a profile of who they were looking for. And they would bring these little girls in
Starting point is 00:34:20 and turn them into prostitutes. High level prostitution. The girls didn't get money. Epstein didn't get paid by the clients. Epstein got paid by the Israeli Mossad Agency. He was paid to be a fake billionaire. He was not a billionaire. He was a fake billionaire. He was an actor.
Starting point is 00:34:43 And the perks that he got was he got to have sex with little girls every day. That was one of his perks. Even when he was serving time in South Florida. They would release him to go have sex with girls from the county jail. While the police car sat out in front of his house. Yes.
Starting point is 00:35:04 The deep corruption. That's how deep the corruption is, Doc. One of his close friends was Donald Trump. Let's be honest about it. There are pictures of Trump and Epstein. Pictures of Trump and Ghislaine Maxwell. You will not convince me that Trump was never involved with Epstein. Or had no knowledge of what he saw.
Starting point is 00:35:26 He had no knowledge. Trump may be smart enough to say, hey, Jeffrey, make sure that there are at least 18. But don't think that Trump had clean hands. You can't hang out with somebody as slimy as Epstein and just Lynn Maxwell and not get your hands dirty. So in this particular story with Jess Staley, the worst that's going to happen to him, the worst that could happen to him in this situation is he loses some money.
Starting point is 00:35:58 He won't go to jail. This isn't a criminal probe. This is a lawsuit. That's all it is. And the bank might have to pay some money too. But is he a defendant? Well, now that's a criminal probe. It's a lawsuit. That's all it is. And the bank might have to pay some money too. But is he a defendant? Well, now that's a great question. I don't think he's a defendant, Doc. The bank is. The bank is. That's who's going to pay. That's where it's at. While we're talking about Israel, this is an interesting story from Jewish News. Former military chief said Israel convinced the United States, that'd be Donald B. Trump.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Israel convinced Trump that General Soleimani was an immediate threat. They created a complete narrative on Soleimani that he was planning terrorist attacks on embassies and on U.S. government officials. Totally made up. They totally made it up. It was not true at all. Israel convinced the U.S. that Islamic Revolutionary Guard leader Qasem Soleimani posed an immediate threat to American soldiers. Former Israeli military intelligence chief Tamir Heman told Jewish News in an exclusive interview. Let me translate that for you. They lied. Haman has previously admitted that Israel provided intelligence to the U.S. about Soleimani, but his wording
Starting point is 00:37:17 immediate threat is the same as what U.S. President Trump used when he took responsibility for the attack, suggesting it was that exact piece of Israeli intelligence that led to the decision to assassinate the IRGC leader. Now, Soleimani- So they fed, Israel fed fake intel to Donald Trump. Yes. Directly to him. Yes. Directly to him. Yes. Directly from Israel. So Soleimani was plotting an imminent and sinister
Starting point is 00:37:50 attacks on American diplomats and military personnel, but we caught him in the act and terminated him, Trump told reporters at the time. And did Donald Trump say that the CIA gave him that information? I don't recall. He didn't. He didn't.
Starting point is 00:38:05 So. He didn't, Doc, because he got the information from Israel. Got it directly from Israel. Now, after Soleimani's militias had helped defeat the Islamic State, the U.S. was standing in his way because he wanted to control the Middle East. So his focus changed from Islamic State to U.S. presence in the region, Heyman said. Now, speculations over Israel's alleged role in the assassination quickly spread due to Soleimani's campaign to arm and supply Israeli enemies in Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria.
Starting point is 00:38:37 Israel convinced the U.S. of Soleimani's malign activities against Americans. The U.S. was mainly focused on fighting terror, not Iran. We supplied the intelligence and shared analysis, and over a long period of time, they were eventually convinced that Soleimani was an immediate threat to American lives and its strategic posture in the Middle East, as Mr. Hayman said.
Starting point is 00:39:02 You know what that's called, Rick? It's called buttering the pig. Taking somebody over a long period of time and working out a scam for the big payoff at the end. And so they slowly dripped out intelligence
Starting point is 00:39:15 that would corroborate a bigger story. And Israel didn't have to. Then they rushed Donald Trump to make an immediate decision. You got to do it now. Right. He's going to do it now.
Starting point is 00:39:28 You got to get Soleimani now. We've got the intel. Something big is going to happen. I want to go back to something. This is, I don't know if you picked this up. In number 26, let's put this back up on the screen. Trump told reporters that after Soleimani's, listen to this, after Soleimani's militias had helped defeat the Islamic State.
Starting point is 00:39:50 I caught that too. That's ISIS. Yes. Who defeated ISIS? According to this. Wait a minute. The Jewish news is reporting that Iranian general, the late General Soleimani, defeated ISIS in Iran.
Starting point is 00:40:12 I mean, in Syria. Yes. That's what the Jewish news is reporting. So they're saying he then realized that the United States was standing in his way. According to them, he wanted to control the Middle East. Why did General Soleimani fight ISIS in Syria? ISIS was Islamic, right? Right.
Starting point is 00:40:36 The Islamic State. Why would he defeat ISIS? Because ISIS, there was no ISIS, there is no ISIS. It's just a ragtag army of thugs and killers recruited by the Zionists in Israel. They're paid mercenaries. They're Zionists dressed as Arabs. Yes.
Starting point is 00:41:01 Can I just be real? ISIS are Zionist Jews dressed as Arabs. It's not the first time they've done it. They did it in Egypt in the 50s. So Israel and the United States had no intention on eliminating ISIS in Syria because it served a purpose in Syria. It served their purpose in Syria to create havoc and to work out their purposes. But they were a threat to Iran and to Iran's influence. So after the Islamic State was eliminated by Iran,
Starting point is 00:41:34 guess who took up their occupation and their place? The U.S. military. We went in, and instead of ISIS having military bases in Syria, the U.S. had military bases and camped around oil wells. Because the two countries that fought ISIS were the Russians and the Iranians. That's right. And that's why Trump sent U.S. forces in to block the Russians and the Iranians from wiping out the American-Israeli-backed armed ISIS brigade. Now, let's admit it.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Soleimani was probably not an angel, okay? But what this story reveals is that there was direct manipulation by the Israeli government to use the United States as the trigger man to get rid of Soleimani. So, Rick, who's in charge, Israel or the US? Soleimani was probably the most popular person in Iran. He would have probably become the next leader of Iran. He had a great deal of popularity, and they took him out, But what they're admitting now
Starting point is 00:42:45 is they fed fake information to Donald Trump and he swallowed it. He gave in and did it. Quickly, I want to go through a couple more stories. DW News reporting a German defense minister
Starting point is 00:43:01 to resign soon. I saw these stories earlier this morning. I didn't know what it was all about, Rick. Well, I'll show you the video. It's in German, but she's talking about Germany's help of Ukraine in the war.
Starting point is 00:43:18 But she did the interview on New Year's Eve with fireworks going on behind her and she's she's all excited about the war in Ukraine and it just wasn't good optics so I'll show you the video this was what got her in trouble You know, I think maybe what happened was the German people watching their defense minister standing there grinning and talking about the war that they're funding in Ukraine and the fireworks and explosions are going on in the background and the German people started thinking about oh my gosh this sounds like war in Germany right we don't want to go through another world war we've been through
Starting point is 00:44:18 two of them and this clown is out here on New Year's Eve grinning about Germany's help in Ukraine. Well, a lot of people are demanding her resignation right now. Yeah, that video took place on New Year's Eve. She was giving a New Year's Eve message. Fireworks going off. This is also from DW, number 31 for control. German Defense Minister Lamb basted over New Year's Eve Ukraine message. The German Defense Minister, asted over New Year's Eve Ukraine message.
Starting point is 00:44:45 The German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht came under fire earlier this month for what has been considered a tone-deaf video published on her social media account. She shared the video on Instagram and when she appears on a street in Berlin during a chaotic New Year's celebration. Basically, she was praising the German efforts in Ukraine and the cooperation that is going on. But with the fireworks going off, explosions going on, it just didn't look right,
Starting point is 00:45:16 and it's caused a lot of concern for a lot of German citizens. Doc, we have a South Carolina Republican congressman, Joe Wilson, who has introduced a resolution in the U.S. House to put a bust of Zelensky in the U.S. Capitol. That's right. The South Carolina Republican congressman is introducing a resolution that could, if passed, place a bust of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the U.S. Capitol. The resolution was introduced by Joe Wilson of South Carolina on Monday and would direct the Fine Arts Board
Starting point is 00:45:54 to obtain a bust of Zelensky for display in the House of Representatives wing of the United States Capitol. We're just adding to the idol worship this war, Rick. Number 36, egg prices reach historic highs amid avian flu outbreak and inflation news. Doc, I didn't know that egg prices were this high. And the reason is I eat eggs, okay? But I get my eggs from local farmers around me. They bring them over to me. And my son has chickens and he brings me eggs too. And so I've
Starting point is 00:46:35 got more eggs than I could possibly eat. So I haven't purchased eggs for several years. I had no idea that eggs are at this price. That's right. The Consumer Price Index came out this morning and it was landing somewhere around the 6% range. But year on year, on the price of eggs, up 57%. So what's the average price of a dozen eggs right now? It works out to about $5 a dozen. Ooh, I've got to get out more often. That's right. But eggs are such a component in a whole bunch of other things too. I mean, you need eggs to make bread.
Starting point is 00:47:18 You need eggs to make cake and donuts and all the good things to eat. But it's a main component of many other foods that we eat. And so that causes a price domino effect across a whole bunch of products. Everything's got to go up. Egg noodles, everything has... Next one is from Bloomberg. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says the United States government will take extraordinary steps to avert a default. Well, that's mighty nice of you, Mrs. Yellen. I'm glad you'll take extraordinary steps. What is going on here? Extraordinary steps to avert a default of the United States government. It's because we're approaching our
Starting point is 00:48:05 current debt limit again. So Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said the department, Treasury Department, will begin taking special accounting maneuvers. Now that phrase scared me today, Rick, when I read it. On January 19th, special accounting maneuvers. Oh, keep that in mind. Next time I get in trouble in my checkbook. On January 19th, to avoid breaching the U.S. debt limit, urging lawmakers to boost the ceiling to avert a devastating payments default. Doc, if your CPA said, Doc, I have taken special accounting maneuvers to avert your default. What do you mean, Alex? Tell me what you mean.
Starting point is 00:48:41 The period of time that extraordinary measures may last is subject to considerable uncertainty. In other words, they're going to do what they want for as long as they want. Yellen wrote in a letter to bipartisan congressional leaders Friday, Still, it is unlikely that cash and extraordinary measures will be exhausted before early June. Now, the current debt limit or the total debt the Treasury can issue to the public and other government agencies is just under $31 trillion. And it was set in December 2021 when Congress raised it by $2.5 million. Currently, the government is roughly $78 billion away from reaching the limit. So, Rick, we're less than 1% away from reaching that debt limit right now.
Starting point is 00:49:25 But the debt limit is $31.5 trillion. Yes, that's right. Trillion. The debt, $31 trillion. This was every year. Every year. It's just hard to believe. And how much money did we spend on Ukraine in the past year? Well, billions. Hundreds of billions.
Starting point is 00:49:46 And it's still stacking up. And we're in debt. If you count all the aid, military aid, humanitarian aid, lethal aid, everything aid that we sent, it's around the $150 billion mark.
Starting point is 00:49:58 But we had to borrow the money to give it away. And who did we borrow the money from? Think about this. We, America, we borrowed money to give it away. And who did we borrow the money from? Think about this. We, America, we borrowed money to give it away. You'd have to be an idiot to do something like that. It'd be like borrowing on your credit card to give money away for fireworks.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Isn't that what it is? For somebody else to shoot up fireworks? Or to just give them the money and not have any accountability for it? That's even the crazier part right now. Wouldn't a prudent step to take right away would be stop unnecessary spending? And funding a war in Ukraine is unnecessary spending.
Starting point is 00:50:39 Why do you hate Ukraine, Rick? I hate bankruptcy. Do we want our country to go bankrupt? Because this is foolish behavior. If you just set aside the war part, just the spending is irresponsible. But we're irresponsibly spending in something that could get us blown up. Yes. That's even crazier.
Starting point is 00:51:07 And the fact is we know that money isn't getting everywhere it's supposed to be because there was a New York Times article two weeks ago that said, we've got people on the ground in Ukraine right now. They're trying to find out where all the money's going. Because the Ukrainians. Because we don't even know where the money's going. Zelensky and his gang are siphoning off the money and they're taking the weapons and selling them on the black market. But he's going to get a statue in the House of Representatives. Hey, this next story,
Starting point is 00:51:41 it's been a long time, Doc, since I've seen something this crazy. From News Australia, surgeon removes live grenade from Ukrainian soldier's chest. This is an amazing story. How do you get a grenade in your chest? And they're not even sure how it happened. Incredible images have emerged from the conflict in Ukraine of the moment one of its most revered surgeons removed a
Starting point is 00:52:11 grenade lodged in the chest of a soldier. Major General Andre Verba, one of the armed services most experienced surgeons led the surgery. An x-ray shared on official Ukraine defense social media channels shows the explosive close to the serviceman's heart. Another picture shows a surgeon holding the device with
Starting point is 00:52:32 just his scrubs to protect him. And to make matters more complicated, electrocoagulation, using an electric current to control bleeding during surgery, was ruled out. Now, I could understand why. One of the most experienced surgeons of the armed forces, Major General Andrew Willow, operated without electrocoagulation as the grenade could detonate at any time, the post said. Now, details about how the soldier came to find himself
Starting point is 00:53:00 with a grenade lodged in his chest were not disclosed, but the explosive, a projectile VOG grenade, can be fired at a distance of up to 400 meters. VOG grenades dropped from drones have also been commonly used during the conflict. Let's put the still back up, number 41, so you can see that once again. So what the doctor there is holding in his hand
Starting point is 00:53:24 is what was sitting right next to the soldier's heart there in the image on the right. Amazing story there. Wow. The man was walking around with a live grenade inside of him. That is amazing. Well, I got one more story to share with you. And it's a true story that happened here this week. Our team, I'm going to tell you with all my heart, Susan and I love our team. We have just the greatest people you ever want to work with. And I just am blessed with the people that are here. And we care about them. We don't have employees. We have brothers and sisters. We have brethren. They're family. And we care about the people who are with us. And when they hurt, we hurt. When they laugh, we laugh. We're all together.
Starting point is 00:54:20 Something happened recently to one of our young team members. And it wasn't looking good for a while. And then it ended with a happy ending to the story. And I asked Eddie to come over here to the studio earlier today and sit down with me and record his story so you can hear it. And we're just going to go to that interview. And I want you to listen to this amazing story from one of our team members. His name is Eddie. Some of you know him because you met him in Jordan. He was with us on the Jordan tour. And this is his true story. It started in Jordan and it ended this week. Here it is. Well, one of the things that makes it a pleasure for me
Starting point is 00:55:09 to come to work every day is the people that I work with. We don't have employees here at this ministry. We have brothers and sisters. We have brethren, and we're family. We take care of each other. We watch out for each other. We laugh together. We cry together. We pray together. And we love each other here. And it's a good atmosphere to work in. various challenges and there are ups and downs there are good times and bad times for example right now we have three young men on our staff whose wives are expecting babies this summer and just all of a sudden we've got three three new babies coming to the family here and so we rejoice with them But we have others who have had health issues and various challenges. So today, I want you to meet one of our team members. His name is Eddie, and he is our audio engineer. And he came to us compliments of the U.S. Marine Corps and we were very proud to hire Eddie as he
Starting point is 00:56:27 left the Marine Corps. Those of you who went with us to Jordan, you met Eddie. Eddie and Lee were our production team who were on the trip to Jordan and you also remember that we did not produce very many programs when we were in Jordan. And that's because Eddie and Lee both became sick. And it really became a challenge for us. Our production crew was in bed in the hotels day after day with some stomach problems and we just weren't able to produce true news but Eddie's story became more serious when he came back and so I asked Eddie to come on to True News Today and share his story because it is inspiring. And I think there are people today who are watching us right now, either for yourself or somebody in your family or a close
Starting point is 00:57:32 friend, you need to hear this story because it's true. It's real. It just happened this week. It's fresh. It's fresh from heaven. So this is is eddie hey eddie glad to have you here hello thank you rick how long have you been here so i've been here just about a year ago today almost i started the 10th of january last year is this so yeah so you're in your one year anniversary yeah yeah well we're glad to have you here um uh so i said you came from uh U.S. Marine Corps, and Eddie has been an excellent addition to our team. You're running sound in the control room every day. You're also helping us on other audio projects that we're involved in. And we took you to Jordan, and we needed you there along with Lee.
Starting point is 00:58:24 Lee had been on another trip but this was your first time oh yes to jordan and you were quite excited about it yes i was and so in fact when uh you know what would you what would you say was the the most exciting part of the trip of the places that you visited yeah so physically uh it was definitely petra i got to ride a camel there but um i guess spiritually just throughout the trip of the places that you visited yeah so physically it was definitely petra i got to ride a camel there but um i guess spiritually just throughout the trip realizing that these were the places where jesus would have traveled moses would have traveled the kind of hardship that they went through to to go through these or overcome the challenges that god presented them
Starting point is 00:58:59 and realizing that they really relied on their faith really relied on god's righteousness his goodness to see them through, even though we're all sinners, and he had a greater purpose for us. And to, I guess, compare that to our challenges now and see like we have things so much easier now. And yet, but yeah. Do the stories in the Bible,
Starting point is 00:59:17 do they mean more to you now? Are they easier to visualize how it happened, where it happened now that you were there and you saw where moses stood you you saw where john was beheaded yes that changed your your your walk with the lord yes yes those were the i think those are the two sides that actually affected me the most was seeing where john suffered and where yeah Herod had done his palace where it was. And then also Moses, seeing where he would have seen Jerusalem. It was cloudy that morning, but seeing where he would have seen Jerusalem. And then we hope he arrived on a better day than we did.
Starting point is 00:59:55 Yeah. He had a clear shot at the promised land. Well, listen, I'll go back to Petra. Obviously, Petra is visually the high highlight of of going to jordan it's just stunning when you see it for the first time and uh you know when you actually when you walk back the it's called the sick this uh the you know the that gorge we walk back and then you you reach the place where you see the treasury building yes and then you come into the city of petra and it's it's like walking into a movie set isn't it yes i
Starting point is 01:00:32 mean there's all kinds of stuff going on there are merchants and there are camels and and there are horses and carriages and all kinds of things going on it's just like walking back into time definitely and so uh you were the first one to to uh in our group you were the first one to get on a camel yes and uh so what was it like what did you enjoy the the camel ride there it was great yeah so i'm already a tall person but i wasn't expecting the camel to be to be that tall but that was it was it was a lot of fun though it was um yeah it was i saw the camel i've never seen a camel in person i don't know why that that excited me so much and uh i love animals but yeah just just to see the camel gets a ride it was a bit of a highlight at petra aside from being in the second wonder of the world yeah
Starting point is 01:01:18 yeah so it's it's great and by the way for the people that uh if you're thinking about going with this to to jordan in may uh please email us at jordan at truenews.com and tell us that you're you're interested in going so what happened in petra is that um uh you became ill after you left petra now i understand that because my, let's see, my second trip to Jordan, I became very ill after I left Petra. And I was at the far back end of Petra. Yes. You know, the back end of the site. And it was hot and I was thirsty and I was tired. And there was a local um stand there and i i bought a a fruit juice drink and obviously it it had been in the sun too long yeah and it was probably fresh several days earlier it wasn't as fresh on the day i yeah i drank it and and uh but i gulped it down and and
Starting point is 01:02:27 our young uh aide who was with us uh bassam he when he tasted his he said don't drink it it's it's it's not good and i said i already i've already drank mine it's just done um but that night i started to become ill and the second night I was extremely ill. I was up all night. You know, I got over it. You had a similar experience in Petra. Yes. And so my advice when you go to Petra is do not drink anything there.
Starting point is 01:03:00 Just make sure it's bottled water and make sure it's your bottled water. Not only that, but make sure that it's sealed when you get it. Yeah, we saw some people on trips, some of us saw that they were, some of the vendors there would open up used water bottles and refill it with the tap water there. Right, so you got to buy the bottled water in a store, okay? Yes, definitely. Once you get to Petra, just don't drink anything that somebody offers you.
Starting point is 01:03:27 So you got a dose of it also. Yes. And so when we came back on the flight, you were definitely not feeling good. Yeah. And it's a long, long flight, 15 hours. Oh, yeah. And it was pretty rough for you coming back um but when you when you got back here to Vero Beach um I was unaware how sick you were yes and and then your wife text my wife Susan
Starting point is 01:03:55 and said she had to call 9-1-1 for you what what in the world happened yeah so it's partly my stubbornness and partly the severity situation I am. I tend to be a stubborn person who comes to the hospital. I thought I had COVID. So I thought, I'm just going to stay home. This is no big deal. I'll get over it, be with my family. But it just kept getting worse and I kept feeling worse and worse. And my wife kept saying, you need to go now, you need to go now. And it wasn't until I was just laid on the floor, I couldn't really move. And I said, maybe you should call now. What were the symptoms? So it's called, well, at the hospital, I was later diagnosed with what's called a colitis.
Starting point is 01:04:31 All right. So it was just, not to get into too much detail, but extreme bowel movements. I was very watery, right? I wasn't retaining water, what it was. Fever? Fever. Nausea? Yep, the nausea. the nausea basically covid fatigue weakness
Starting point is 01:04:47 yes weakness fatigue trouble moving trouble walking but you were you were so weak that you couldn't get yourself to the hospital and your wife called 9-1-1 and an ambulance took you yes yes i remember i think it was a friday night it was the, we came back, was it the 18th? And it was, we came back the 18th, which was a Friday night. It was a Saturday night, the very next day. You were taken to the hospital on Saturday night. Yes. So I was shocked when Susan told me that you had been transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Starting point is 01:05:19 So at first the doctors told you you had colitis. Yes. So, yeah, so first we were all under the impression that it was covid and i explained my situation i just came back from jordan and um so i thought i was uh covid they were telling me you probably have a new strain of of covid from from that region but it wasn't it wasn't and so what we did there they did a cat scan and it confirmed that i had colitis because my colon was inflamed but they also also discovered growth in my appendix. And that's when they said, we're worried that there's something growing there. We need to take a look. It could be. So they did a CAT scan and your appendix showed
Starting point is 01:05:56 some type of growth. Yes. How old are you? 27. 27. What went through your mind at that point? I tend to play things off. I try not to worry myself too much. I thought, hey, you know what? I wasn't sure what it was, but I didn't want to start getting caught up in worry. I'm the one that will always tell my wife, like, don't be anxious. Jesus preached on the Sermon on the Mount. Don't be anxious.
Starting point is 01:06:25 There's other verses that mention, you know, just pray to God in petition and prayer. So the doctor advised you to have your appendix removed? Yes, immediately. Immediately. That was the first thing they said. Immediately. They said, this is an abnormal size. You need to get it removed.
Starting point is 01:06:40 And I said, oh, okay, sure. I spoke with another surgeon, and I also reached out to get a second opinion. And they both said, yeah, it's, it's, it's large when you see what it was. Okay. So, um, you had your surgery very recently. What day was it? January 6th. It was last Friday, I believe.
Starting point is 01:06:56 Last Friday. Yes. So you had your appendix removed and what did the, uh, what did the doctor tell you after the, after you recovered? Yeah. What did the doctor tell you after you recovered? Yeah, so they sent it to pathology, and then I had a follow-up appointment, and they told me that it was malignant. It was cancer. And it had, so just for some reference. Let me ask you, when you got the call just days ago. Yes.
Starting point is 01:07:22 That your appendix that had been removed was malignant with cancer. What was your immediate reaction? What do you remember? My immediate reaction was that it's a blessing that, I mean, God performed the miracle in my life. But what was your immediate reaction when the doctor said, Eddie, I need to tell you, your appendix was cancerous. I think I had to panic a little. It was almost like an eternal battle, because in my mind I knew, this is a blessing, I've been saved by the blood of Christ.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Everything happened for a reason, but my body wanted to say otherwise. I started feeling sick as the day progressed. Thoughts of, this could have killed you because this do you have a history of cancer in your family yes so my my little brother had leukemia my mom had skin cancer my grandfather had bone cancer um my aunt had thyroid cancer there's a few and i had a
Starting point is 01:08:20 my mother's aunt um died of the same cancer that i had it was a growth appendix that grew into her colon and her intestines blocked and that's when she knew that she had something because you don't have symptoms when you have a tumor in your can in your appendix there's no symptoms until it grows into another um organ and then but that at that point it's it's a different story it's a more difficult story but. So she passed away from that. What was your wife's reaction? She, before the surgery, she was very worried. And after that, I was very surprised that she was very supportive.
Starting point is 01:08:56 She was there for me. I was in a bit of a panic. I was worried. I obviously didn't want to leave. I have two kids. I didn't want to leave my kids behind or my wife. And it was a difficult time for me mentally when I first got it. How about your mom and dad?
Starting point is 01:09:11 My mom was very worried. She went through chemotherapy with my little brother. He was a year old and he was diagnosed. To see her second son, possibly, my little brother survived. Your brother had cancer yes he had leukemia i'm sorry i didn't hear that yes your brother had my little brother had leukemia he was a year old uh which is basically your white blood cells right you'd stop working so um he went through chemotherapy lost his hair almost died luckily he survived he did yeah but um but
Starting point is 01:09:44 for my mom i was just starting to think wow we might have to relive through all this or go through that again. Again, folks, this is all recent. This is all in the past two weeks. Yes. And it was very troubling to me when I heard. And actually, I'm trying to think. Today's Friday. So it was earlier this week.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Yes. A few days ago. So when I left, I knew you were going, I knew that you were going to the doctor the next day for checkup. And then you came in that day.
Starting point is 01:10:24 I saw you go past my office yes but well everything must be okay you're here you went to work you didn't say anything i was busy and i came out here with doc and we did true news it's just a couple days ago and and when i when i And when I walked away from the studio, oh, I know, I went back to the control room, not knowing you were gone. And one of the guys in the control room told me that you went home. What day was that this week? Was that this Wednesday? So it was this Wednesday. It's Friday Friday so Wednesday
Starting point is 01:11:05 they said you went home uh you were you were distraught you were you were very you were feeling very upset and I said what what's happened and that's when they told me uh oh you don't know Eddie's Eddie got a report that his appendix was cancerous. And it really disturbed me that night. Susan and I went home. We tried to reach you and couldn't reach you. It was very disturbing. I was really concerned that this was happening to you. But where are we at right now that was Wednesday this is Friday yeah what did the the doctors uh they snipped off part of your colon yes and they did a biopsy on your colon yes right and what did they tell you yes so when they cut the appendix they cut a little
Starting point is 01:12:01 bit of what's called the crown that's attaches to the colon and they did on purpose to test all of it see if it had spread and they said that no that the lymph nodes on the colon were unaffected and that um the cancer was self-contained within the appendix and it had a and they said if it stayed in me for any longer in the period of six months to a year it because it was beginning to grow into the wall of the appendix once it grows into the wall of the organ it starts to spread and um they said it hadn't grow into the wall of the appendix. Once it grows into the wall of the organ, it starts to spread. And they said it hadn't grown into the wall yet. It was beginning to break through. So I cut it out at the right time.
Starting point is 01:12:33 He said I was cancer-free as soon as they removed it. So the doctor told you this week you're cancer-free? Yes. I had cancer. I didn't even know it. And then they removed it, and they told me you're cancer-free now. But he said the timing of it is, is, um, if I had waited any longer, it would have been a different story for me. Literally months.
Starting point is 01:12:52 Yes. Just months, maybe even a couple of weeks, because he said that it's, they're at the point where it, it, it looks like it was already breaking through the wall. And once it breaks, once it breaks into the wall, grows into the wall, at that point it can jump anywhere. And you had no symptoms? No. I, in fact, I even told the guys in the room this um because in the marine corps i like to run so i was i took the surgery on friday on monday of that week i said well you know i'm gonna start running more i did a five mile run i ran for about an hour it was perfectly fine nothing hurt i was feeling great i and then um exercise i did my thing and I wasn't feeling any symptoms. It wasn't holding me back at all.
Starting point is 01:13:28 So you had no symptoms. You had cancer in you. Your appendix was infected with cancer. You had no symptoms. You're a healthy, young 27-year-old former Marine. Life is good. Everything's's going fine you have no idea that you have cancer growing inside of you yes you go to jordan with us yes um you got one of those petra specials yes all right and you know monozuma's revenge and you come home sick and we're all thinking it's just the same thing it's it you got um you know you you it's it's a upset stomach um
Starting point is 01:14:17 you got some bacteria in you from something that you ate or drank, but it sends you to hospital. Yes. Now things are getting serious. Like, wow, he's been hospitalized. They do a scan. They see something's wrong with your appendix. They remove your appendix. Yes.
Starting point is 01:14:40 And they discover it's cancerous. Yes. Had you not gone to Petra and gotten sick, you probably would have never found out that you had cancer. Well, not until it's too late almost. Too late, that's what I mean. Yeah, not until it's too late. That's what I mean.
Starting point is 01:15:01 Not until it's grown into my colon. So what's the story in this? What's the message for story in this what is what's the message for us in this i mean the message for me for me personally for anybody who goes this i would say is that god still has a mission for me on earth he still has a plan for my life and um i still have things that i got to do for his kingdom i have work to be done you know and i gotta keep it in mind every day i wake up. I have a mission, right? There's work that my hands need to do.
Starting point is 01:15:26 So I need to wake up knowing that the blood of Christ protects me, heals me, and go on. And when unpleasant things happen, like getting sick on a trip, instead of being upset and angry or whatever, sometimes it can turn out that God is actually working to reveal something far more serious that's wrong with your body. That's what I see. Yes. That he allowed you to get sick in Jordan with a stomach virus. Not a virus, but bacteria.
Starting point is 01:16:06 Yes. And it made you very sick. Sick enough to send you to the hospital. Yes. And up until then, we're all thinking, wow, this is really strange. You got that sick. Yes. From drinking something in Jordan.
Starting point is 01:16:23 But it was God working in your life yes and and this has all happened in in the past two weeks his surgery this week the cancer diagnosis this week and and then to be told you're cancer free and you don't have to worry about this yeah all within about a week actually it was friday yeah between the diagnosis in late november and then the surgery in early january it was about a month of not knowing and then a few days of having removed and being told hey it was cancer but it's cancer free it's not there anymore you know um i don't i don't mean to be i don't mean to be, but my first thought is, you know, welcome here to our ministry because you got to walk through the fire. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:15 Okay. A lot of people that come here, once they arrive, they walk through the fire. You get tested. Yeah. Some people can't take it. Some people just say, this is too much for me. I got to leave. But the tough ones stay.
Starting point is 01:17:34 The ones that go through the fire, they know. And God put me here. And the enemy tried to take me out. But God preserved me. And so welcome. Welcome to the team. It's just funny you say that. You passed boot camp.
Starting point is 01:17:51 It's just funny you say that because my wife and I were talking about something similar these past few days where she was like, you know, we must be doing something right if the enemy wants to kill you this quick. We must be doing something that really angers anger is the enemy really pleases god that the enemy is trying to kill you and god said not today that's right how do you feel about working here i love it it's great do you yes i would say it's the best job best job i've ever had it's working with you and susan and doc it's the the three of you are such have been such a blessing in my life and in my wife's life and uh the constant teaching and prayers i mean i've learned so much um and i've been introduced to um to just seeing things in the bible in a clearer way in ways that before i've been confusing i've just been said well you know what maybe i just
Starting point is 01:18:38 don't get it i'll just keep going along with it but especially yourself and doc have been able to break it down to a way that it just makes sense for me and i can see the gospel in a totally different way i have a more intimate relationship with christ and what about the rest of the team here oh it's great yeah we all get along great it is one big family i mean we're cracking jokes and we're getting things done and yeah it's a good environment yeah and everybody everybody here loves eddie he's he's he's uh well liked by by the members of the team. And we're very, very glad that you came and joined us last year. I appreciate you coming by and sharing this
Starting point is 01:19:16 with the True News audience. And I just want to encourage you that if you're going through a struggle, if you've got a challenge, a health challenge, maybe you've been given a really serious diagnosis by a doctor. Whatever you're facing, it could be financial, it could be in marriage, whatever it is, okay, don't give up. Have faith, have hope in God, and go through it. You got to walk through it and know that God is with you every step of the way. And that maybe sometimes some of the negative bad things that are happening is actually your Heavenly Father getting you to the place where he can reveal what's really wrong so that he can deliver you completely from what is troubling your life. Just trust your father. Put your hope, your trust, put everything into him and he will never
Starting point is 01:20:19 disappoint you. He'll never, never fail you. He will always be your kind, loving father, and he will do what's right. We love you very much. God bless you. We'll see you on Monday.
