Let's begin our analysis and commentary of today's news with a look at this New York Times article. U.S. poised to send more combat aircraft to Middle East, according to officials. And the New York Times reporting this morning, the United States is preparing to send additional combat aircraft to the Middle East in response to threats from Iran and proxies in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen to attack Israel in the coming days to avenge the death of Ismail Hanaya. This week, American officials said on Friday, one military official said that American forces in the Middle East were taking necessary measures to increase combat readiness and to protect U.S. troops and allies against any threats from Iran or Iran-backed militia groups. The article goes on to say,

How many planes to send is still being worked out, as are final approvals from senior officials, including Defense Secretary Lloyd Alston. Officials said that they were seeking to calibrate the American response to send enough of the right types of aircraft as quickly as possible to help defend Israel without appearing to escalate the conflict. Now, that's... How do you do that? We're sending in weapons, warships, and attack planes and troops.

But don't interpret that as an escalation of the conflict. Yes, don't misinterpret what we're doing here. Times of Israel reporting IDF on high alert as Biden vows U.S. to defend Israel against all threats from Iran. Yes, the Israeli Defense Forces on Thursday said it was on high alert as the country braces for a response to the assassinations this week of Hezbollah's military chief in Beirut and Hamas's leader in Tehran, but a spokesman pledged that the military knows how to handle any threat. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, meanwhile, spoke with U.S.

President Joe Biden, who the White House said stressed America's commitment to defending Israel's security, quote, against all threats from Iran, unquote. The two discussed new U.S. military deployments to protect against possible attacks from ballistic missiles and drones. The allied leader's phone call came as Israeli television reported that Israel was working to finalize the coordination of a regional and international coalition to thwart a potential response by Iran and Hezbollah to the killings of Ismail Hanaya and Fayed Shakur, as was the case when Iran fired hundreds of drones and missiles at Israel back in April. So Israel is, you know, they're calling other countries saying, are you with us or not?

Are you in this fight or not? Yes. We killed some people. We killed some people. We murdered some people. And now there's going to be a retaliation against us. Are you going to defend us or what? This is the way Israel plays the game. Right.

Yeah, we murdered some people. So what we want to know, are you going to defend us? So they're making their phone calls. And, of course, the United States is on board. Great Britain is on board. Yes. A number of nations have. But really, those two are all you need. Yes. Jordan and Saudi Arabia today said that they would shoot down any missiles flying over their airspace. Egypt said that too. Yes. So they're making their phone calls. I want to skip down to number four. This is Times of Israel. There's one country that's not going along.

It's a NATO country. Turkey blocking NATO cooperation with Israel. Yes. Mr. Erdogan is not cooperating. I'm surprised he's still in power. Turkey has blocked cooperation between NATO and Israel since October because of its war against Hamas terror group in Gaza and said that the alliance should not engage with Israel as a partner until there is an end to the conflict. Again, this is an Israeli newspaper, Times of Israel. Israel carries the status of NATO partner and has fostered close relations with the military alliance and some members, notably the biggest ally, the United States, also the source of billions of dollars every year.

Sources said Turkey had vetoed all NATO engagement with Israel since October, including joint meetings and exercises, saying it viewed Israel's that Turkey has been gumming up the works for months since October. I mean, I knew that Turkey had expressed their contempt for Israel over the war in Gaza. But I didn't know that they were blocking NATO from carrying out joint exercises. So they're vetoing things. Kind of like Orban with Ukraine. So NATO's got problems now. Their plans to just bomb countries, not everybody in the club is going along with it. So I don't know how they're going to solve that problem.

Times of Israel said the sources said Turkey would maintain the block on Israel and not allow it to continue or advance its interaction with NATO until there was an end to the conflict. I read that one. Okay. Now, the next one, Jerusalem Post. Coalition needs to combat Iran and its proxies. Gallant, tells UK defense minister. So this goes back to the story a little bit earlier where Israel is building an international coalition to defend Israel from retaliation for Israel's murder of several people.

Yes, let that logic work through your brain there. So a coalition of armed forces is needed to combat the threats against Israel and the region from Iran and its proxies, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told his British counterpart John Healy on Friday. Gallant discussed the IDF's readiness and capabilities to defend Israel on all fronts and emphasized the importance of establishing a coalition in Israel's defense against Iran and its proxies. That's coming from the defense ministry. This would have a critical impact on regional and global security and stability. We have this tweet, or an X, I guess now you'd call it today, from Israel Cats. He said, I spoke today with U.K. Foreign Minister David Lammy about our fight against Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas.

Iran is the head of the snake of this terror axis, and we need to join hands in order to address this threat to regional and global security. Okay, so what we've got here, Doc, is the president of Israel, Israel Katz, I assume was on the phone with David Lammy, Foreign Secretary of Great Britain. And these are all new names for us because the labor took control of the government in Great Britain. So we need to learn all these new players. At the same time, Britain's new defense chief, John Healy, flew to Israel. Yes, to speak to Gallant. Who is the defense minister.

Right. So Israel obviously is deeply on board with the war, which is going to get Great Britain in a war with Iran. And what does Great Britain get out of this? That's the real, that's the $64,000 question. What do they get out of it? Tell me what you get out of it. What's the United States get out of it? That we get involved with a war with Iran.

What do we get out of it? What's in it for us? There's nothing in it for us no this is about defending israel who gets itself in these messes because they murder people and then they expect other people to defend them from their murders well that's the way the world works, isn't it? That's the Jewish day of disasters, according to Western intelligence. Yes, Western intelligence sources told Sky News Arabia that they had evidence from Iran that it plans to attack Israel on Tisha B'Av in response to the assassination of Hamas leader Hanaya. Now, this date is August 12th, which is coming up a week from Monday, and ends on August 13th.

Iran's attack will reportedly be coordinated with Hezbollah and a ram-backed terror group embedded in Lebanon on Tisha B'Av. Jews lament the destruction of the first and second temples. Sky News Arabia also claimed that the media coverage on the attack would transmit a message to the Islamic world that Israel is vulnerable to destruction as the Jews have historically been.
