Well, this is the day which the Lord hath made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Hello, everybody. I'm Rick Wiles, and this weekday Bible study is meant to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. That's because Jesus Christ is coming back for his one holy universal and apostolic church. And the reason that I'm here on television is to help prepare you for the second advent of Jesus Christ and the full manifestation of the kingdom of God. You see, until Jesus Christ returns, you and I must live out the

kingdom of heaven while we're living in this world. And that's why I say we should shine brightly, taste salty, and love everybody in this present age. Well, today is America's 4th of July holiday. It is a time to celebrate our 1776 revolution that birthed the new nation dedicated to freedom and liberty for all. America was a far different country in 1776 than it is in 2022. When English settlers landed at Cape Henry, Virginia on April 26, 1607. The first thing they did was plant a large Christian cross in the sand and kneel before the Lord in prayer. That settlement became Jamestown, Virginia, the first permanent English settlement in America. Well, in recent years, we have witnessed shocking scenes of radical communists in America pulling down statues of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt and other American patriots, similar to Chairman Mao's cultural revolution in China.

America's communists are determined to criminalize our country's history. For many Christian patriots, it has seemed as though the radical communists are winning in their fight to eradicate all knowledge of America's Christian heritage. However, in recent weeks, the United States Supreme Court has shocked many people by issuing a series of pro-freedom court decisions involving state tuition aid to private schools, the right to bear arms, the rescinding of Roe v. Wade, and private prayer on public property. All American patriots should thank God for the five courageous Catholic justices on the Supreme Court who ruled in favor of freedom and morality. Is it the beginning of a swing back to constitutional freedom and biblical

morality, or is it too little, too late to stop the tide of communism and moral decadence in America? Well, only time will tell the answer to those questions. In the meantime, God's people must stand firmly in this country for righteousness. One thing is certain about today, July 4, in countless patriotic gatherings across the nation, numerous speakers ended their speeches with the words, God bless America. I'm going to ask some questions today that may upset and disturb some of you watching this TV show. So please don't accuse me of not being patriotic on July 4. The questions to consider are these. Why should God continue to bless America? Do we still deserve to be blessed by God? Is it not time for America to bless God? The old America that I loved is gone. It was a

God-fearing nation. When I was a child, my elementary public school opened each morning with the Lord's Prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, and Bible reading. Well, I remember Fourth of July celebrations where we proudly sang America the Beautiful. When was the last time you heard that song sung in public? When is the last time you sang about God's grace on our nation? Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountains, majesties above

the fruited plain. America, America, God shed his grace on thee and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea. Can the American people sincerely sing America the Beautiful in 2022 and not feel ashamed and embarrassed by what we have become as a nation? Oh, beautiful for spacious skies For amber waves of grain Oh America, sweet America, God shed his grace on thee. It's been a long time since we sang that song in this country, hasn't it? It used to be a normal occurrence on Fourth of July, but we've changed as a nation. And our question here today, and I know it's going to be disturbing to some people, is God, is he obligated to bless America?

What are the reasons? I asked in the beginning, can you give me 10 reasons why God should bless America in 2022? And shouldn't it be the other way around? Isn't it time that America blesses God? I mean, God's waiting on us to bless him, to bless his holy name, to praise him, to thank him. There's never been a nation like this. There's never been a nation with so many resources and abundance. The farm fields, the mountains, the resources, the rivers, the lakes, the wildlife.

Abundant blessings on this nation. And God blessed us. Because despite this country's problems throughout its ages, I mean, we've always had problems. It's never been a perfect country. But the heart of the people in the early days of this country was to be a God-fearing nation. And God honored us, even with our imperfections, and they were many.

The American people desire to be a God-fearing nation. But we haven't been a God-fearing nation for decades. And we've now become a God-hating nation. Half this country despises biblical morality. I mean, we are a divided country right now. And so my question is, why would God bless this country right now? I've asked Dr. Raymond Burkhart. We call him Doc, Doc Burkhart.

I've asked him to sit in here with me today and answer these questions so doc what's your thoughts in 2022 not based on the old america that you and i knew you grew up in missouri i grew up in western maryland i have relatives on my on my uh my uh grandmother my My grandmother, my father's mother, her family settled into Western Maryland in 1820. And they were in New England before that. I don't know when they arrived in the colonies, but I know when they arrived in Maryland. That was 1820. I grew up around patriotism. It was everywhere. Everywhere in my childhood. There were signs around patriotism. It was everywhere. Everywhere in my childhood there were signs

of patriotism of the old America, 1776. It was everywhere. The first monument to George Washington is in my home county. It's not Washington, D.C. It's in Washington County. It's still there, still standing today. So I was used to patriotism. The country that you and I knew doesn't exist now. This country has become hostile to God, hostile to biblical morality. And when I was growing up, I was 11 years old when we celebrated the 200th birthday, the bicentennial. Of course, very patriotic that whole year, 1976, celebrating 200 years.

And so I was exposed to that as a child and that carried on through my adulthood but I yeah I agree with you Rick there are questions to be asked of us when the values that I held on to even generally as a child not even know not even being a Christian yet until my later teens those same values that I believed then I would be considered a Christ Oh fascist now that would be then, I would be considered a Christofascist now. That would be the label that a significant percentage of the population would put on me for believing in America, believing that God blesses America, that God had his hand on our nation. The political left in this country has now criminalized patriotism.

Patriotism. Yes. 1776 is now a criminal act. Right. They have a new revolution to overthrow the revolution of 1776. You got it. Yes. And if you are a patriot of 1776, you're now an enemy of this new America.

You don't believe that folks you have no idea how vehemently the left despises American patriotism they want to eradicate it and the main reason is because the people were Christian yes that is the main reason It was founded with Christian values. And that's the war that we're in. It is a spiritual war. It's not political. It's a spiritual war. It doesn't matter if you're white or black or brown.

It doesn't matter. It is a spiritual issue. The dividing line is Christ, the cross. That's the dividing line. Yes, you're right. Which side of the cross are you on? That's the dividing line. Yes, you're right. Which side of the cross are you on? That's the dividing line that's in this country. So you ask, or I'm asking a question,

give me 10 reasons why God should bless America in 2022. Is it because we're the number one producer, distributor, and consumer of pornography? We're number one in all three of those categories. Is it because the media, our culture has interwoven homosexuality into all segments of the society today? It's everywhere now.

Disney Corporation here in Florida, a company that was founded to entertain little children, now openly says, we will produce more homosexual content than we've ever done. They used to deny that they produced any. This year in 2022, they embrace it. And they said, we're going to double down. Why are Christians going to Disney? Why are you spending your money at a company that is at war with your Savior? Why? You have to make a decision.

So is that the reason that God should bless America? Because we have major media corporations that is defiling, they are defiling the minds of innocent children. Is that the reason God blesses America? I mean, think of how they celebrate Drag Queen Story Hour in libraries and on a military basis nowadays. Can you imagine, you know, in the 60s and 70s, even someone halfway promoting transvestite? Are you saying, yeah, Doc, think about General George S. Patton saying to his troops, now, guys, here is the drag queen that's going to entertain you today. It's just so far removed from.

Dwight Eisenhower. Dwight Eisenhower bringing a drag queen out to entertain the troops. No, we've become a perverted, sick country. Obsessed with sex. Obsessed with sex. And we sacrifice our children to bail. Right now, since the Supreme Court decision, we've seen the pro-abortion fanatics say, we're going to do anything we have to do to keep killing babies yes fighting

for it yes they're we're going to turn national parks into abortion centers we're going to put abortion clinics in va hospitals in social security offices this is i'm not kidding you folks this is what they're talking about they're talking about putting abortion clinics on every piece of federal land because they're determined to kill babies. They're absolutely obsessed with killing babies. Not only are we obsessed with killing innocent lives here at home, we're also a nation that's obsessed with war around the globe, too. And part of that war mentality is ever since the Obama years,

official American foreign policy, and that is under Obama, under Donald Trump, and Joe Biden, has been other nations must accept homosexuality. Yes. They must change their laws.

I'm not kidding you folks. It's been going on since Obama, it's official State Department policy. And so when nations refuse to change their laws, what does the US do? We use our military muscle against them. Yes. We have things called economic hitmen.

We take them down. We take down their economy. We put sanctions on them. We do all kinds of things to pressure countries to pervert their laws. So should God bless us for that, Rick? Of course not. Of course he won't. But I'll tell you what he'll do. He'll remove, not only will he stop blessing us, he'll remove past blessings. He'll remove them. He'll remove, not only will he stop blessing us, he'll remove past blessings. He'll remove them.

He'll strip us bare, Doc. It's biblical. I want to, in the time we have remaining, I want to go to Jeremiah 18. And I want to show you what God said to the Israelites about their sin. Let's pull up Jeremiah 18. So the word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying, Arise, go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter's house, and behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter. So he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter, saith the Lord? Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel. At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck it up and to pull down and to destroy it, if that nation against whom I have pronounced turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom to build and to plant it. If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good,

wherewith I said I would benefit them. Jeremiah chapter 18. So God sent Jeremiah, gave him a message to the Israelites. Yes. And said, you see this potter? He's made this clay pot. And it's marred. And because the potter made it, he owns it.

Right, and he can do whatever he wants to. He can do whatever he wants to do. He can throw it to the ground and smash it into pieces and start over and make another one. This is what God is saying to America in 2022. I made this nation. I blessed this nation. I brought you up from humble beginnings

and made you the mightiest nation on earth. No nation since the Garden of Eden has ever had the wealth, the power, the influence, the blessings that have been upon America. But now you've become perverted. Now you're marred. Now you're defiled. Now you've become a stench and by nostrils and I wish I never made you. And I'm going to take you and throw you to the ground and smash you into a million pieces and start over. Right. That is God's right. He is the sovereign God of the universe and he has every right to do it to America if he wants to, if he chooses to. None of us have

any right to tell God he can't do it. The American people, including the church, the Christians, do not believe God should do such a thing. Because we have this American mentality, this pride, and it's now become arrogance that God surely would not judge America. God would not punish America. God would not take his blessings away from America. God would not send an invading army to America. God would not take his blessings away from America. God would not send an invading army to America. Oh, yes, he will. Yes, he will. And it's coming very close. My friends, let me tell you something. This is going to shock you, but I'm telling you, I'm telling you from my heart what I believe in my own heart right now on this day, July 4, 2022.

I am not confident that you and I are going to be alive on January 1st, 2023. What do you mean, Rick? I mean, world war is so close it's so imminent it is so likely a nuclear war with russia and china it is so the the the likelihood is so high right now and you're going i don't know what you're talking about. Yeah, I know because you're misinformed. You're uninformed. Why? Because you're watching Fox News and CNN. That's why you're getting your news from propaganda channels. Fox News and NBC and SNBC, CBS, CNN, they're all propaganda channels. And you got Christians watching Fox News and you got the leftists watching CNN and MSNBC. You're all deceived because they're not telling you the truth.

But the Russians are openly talking about nuking the United States because they believe we've become a godless, evil nation. Think about this. Yes. When I was young, the Soviet Union was godless. Today, America is godless and the Russians are fearing God and they see NATO and the United States preparing to invade them and destroy them.

And they are preparing for war. And if you watch Russian television and get a translation, if you read the English translations of Russian newspapers, and I do it every day, you will see that their generals and their retired generals and their diplomats and their politicians are preparing the Russian people for war. That's right.

Not just saying it might happen, they're saying it has already started. NATO intends to destroy Russia. We will have to attack. The American people are sitting here in their arrogance, in their pride. We are the queen of heaven. Nothing, no evil will come to us. Isn't that what Babylon says?

Yes. But in one hour, Babylon burns. In one hour, America will burn. One hour. My friends, America has two choices. Repent or perish. That's it. That's your choice in 2022.

Repent or perish. Both ways, you go to your knees. in 2022. Repent or perish. Both ways you go to your knees. Repent, you go to your knees, America, and you cry out to God and you ask him to forgive our nation for our sins and we forgive and ask for forgiveness for our individual sins or perish.

We fall to our knees because an invading army has taken control of the country and the Chinese are here with their bayonets. Pick one. That's your choice, America, in 2022. Choose one.

Repent or perish. That's my assignment. That's what I'm doing here. This is what I've been doing for 24 years. Most of you have never heard of me. Well, that's okay, because in 1999, God told me, the Holy Spirit told me in 1999, I will give you an audience on national television just before the judgment in America. And here I am. I'm on national television. And I'm telling you, judgment is here.

Judgment. And you go, well, wait a minute, Rick. The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of pro-life. Yes, but the nation is fighting it. They're determined they're going to kill babies. Louisiana had a pro-life law, and days after the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade,

a federal judge ordered Louisiana to keep the abortion clinics open. Look, this country has maybe 150 million people who want to kill babies, who are sold out to evil, iniquity. There's no fear of God. We're a divided country right now. And God cannot continue to bless this country.

He's going to have to take away our blessings. In the church in America, you're sitting there all comfortable and cozy, and you just think nothing, nothing would ever happen to America. There's no urgency for prayer. I remember the days, Doc, you remember too? Yes. Hey, some of you are my age and older. You remember all night prayer meetings. When's the last time you've seen an all night prayer meeting at a church?

When's the last time you've seen prayer that lasted more than a minute? This is a prayerless church in this country now. The Holy Spirit, Ichabod is written on the doors of America. The glory has departed. And yet we're sitting here all snug and comfortable on the 4th of July, eating our hot dogs and saying, God bless America. And he's saying, I'm done blessing America. You bless me, America. You bless me. You repent. You get on your knees and repent for your filthy sins against me. And you make things right with me, or I'm going to

bring an army against you and I will bring you to your knees. I will make you slaves to the Chinese. That's what God is saying to America on July 4, 2022. Hey, you're not going to hear this anywhere on television, but you just heard it right now. They may take me off tomorrow. This may be the last time I get to even say it. But I said it because the anointing of the Lord is on me right now to tell this nation, repent or perish. Your time is running out. There's not much time left for this country to decide which God they will serve. You have to make a decision. The church needs to wake up. And you, my friend, if you're not right with God, you need to get it done now,

tonight, before you go to sleep. You need to call upon the name of the Lord and believe in the name of Jesus. Repent of your sins. And then you find a church that will baptize you. You need to get it done. We might not be able to save America, but you can get saved because Christ is waiting on you this very moment. So you get it done.
