The following program is made possible by the faithful prayers and financial support of listeners just like you.
To find out how you can help, visit www.truenews.com.
This is True News.
The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
So help us God.
I'm Jeremy Wiles.
Doc Burkhart is away for several days visiting family.
I'll be your host today, temporarily.
Big Jim, the worm farmer, is a candidate for Florida Agricultural Commissioner.
And Mr. Shaw will be my dad's guest on Monday to
tell you why he's seeking the Republican Party nomination for the statewide position.
I volunteered last week, actually it was jokingly, to help my dad co-host Today's True News. He took
me serious. I told him I have a few questions about his book, Final Day, and I thought it would be informative for you to hear my questions and his answers.
You can have a Final Day book, too, by clicking the banner at the top of True News.
The book is $19.95.
It's $19.95 plus shipping.
And my dad will personally sign your book with his blue ink pen.
He's asking for a donation of $100
for an autographed copy of Final Day. And now here is the author of Final Day, my dad, Rick Wiles.
Hey, Jeremy. I'm back. You're back. Yesterday was fun, and we're going to do it again. It was fun.
I wish you'd be here every day. It would be good to have you here. I think you'd start to lose
donations after a while.
No, no, no. Our audience likes you. You could easily be doing this program.
Thank you.
So yesterday we talked about basically where the rapture doctrine came from. We talked
about John Nelson Darby, Cyrus Schofield and all that. There are other things that this book reveals. And I got to say, a lot of it,
the revelation came to me as I was writing the book. And I did a lot of praying, a lot of
meditating, a lot of searching the scriptures. And the Lord would reveal things to me that I had never seen before.
The three snares that Jesus warned us to avoid.
He's talking about the second coming.
He's talking about the end of the age.
And then it's kind of like he just kind of,
I think the way most of us have always read it
is like he took a break in talking about the end of the world and the second coming and he said oh
by the way while i'm thinking about it there are three snares i addictions to avoid before he comes back.
OK, you talk a lot about addictions. Yeah. OK, so the three snares are in the book.
Wow. The the questions that Jesus will ask everybody saved and unsaved.
He's going to ask everybody a set of questions, so be ready.
You ought to know what the questions are.
He asks everybody these questions.
What he does, he returns.
The first to get gathered up are the wicked.
Now, you know, the left behind doctrine is you don't want to be left behind.
You want to be raptured. You don't want to be left behind. You want to be raptured.
Don't want to be left behind.
Well, the truth is you want to be left behind because the first group that gets picked up are the unsaved, the wicked.
Jesus said so.
He said first, the angels shall first gather the wicked.
They gather the reapers, gather the wicked.
OK, what does he do? He he gathers them by nations. gather the wicked. The reapers gather the wicked. Okay?
What does he do?
He gathers them by nations.
All right?
All the wicked are gathered up.
All the unsaved.
All the unbelievers.
They are then separated by the nations that they lived in.
Now, he's opened the graves.
All the graves have been opened. Good and bad. The dead in Christ shall rise.
Not only, but the wicked come out of their graves too.
Everybody. Yeah, that's to meet him. So where are the believers
at this time? Well, you get two groups.
You get two groups of believers. The dead in Christ and those
who are alive and remain when he returns.
So if you and I are alive on the day he comes back, we are those.
We're watching, but the dead in Christ come out of their graves, but the wicked come out of their graves too.
Hitler comes out of his grave.
Mussolini comes out of his grave.
Genghis Khan, Pontius Pilate go all the way back to Adam and Eve.
They all come out of the graves, the good and the bad.
So everyone wakes up.
Everyone wakes up.
So then they separate the dead and the living according to the nations that they lived in.
So there are nations you and I don't even know about.
I mean, you went to Turkey years ago.
You climbed Mount Ararat.
And as you taught me,
Ararat is not the name of a mountain.
Ararat is the name of what?
Well, it was a kingdom called Uratu. Okay.
At that time.
So all the citizens of Uratu are going to be gathered.
Think about this.
They're all going to come out of their graves.
It's probably in the thousands.
He's going to have thousands of groups by nations.
Nations we've never heard of.
Nations that have disappeared and been forgotten.
But they're all going to be reassembled.
The populations are going to be reassembled.
And then after he gets them in their respective nations,
then he splits that group.
Goats and sheep.
Left and right.
Yes.
Sheep go to the right.
Goats go to the left.
If you're going to the left, that's a bad sign.
It's a really bad sign because you're going to the barbecue.
That's not the barbecue after church.
You know where the barbecue, you know the address?
It's Beelzebub's Barbecue, and the address is 666 Main Street, Hell.
Okay?
So that all takes place in the second coming.
But nobody talks about this stuff.
What Jesus did, I just took him at his word.
I just said, hey, look at that.
Hal Lindsey didn't say it.
You know, John Hagee didn't say it.
Jesus said it.
This is what Jesus said is going to happen.
Did Jesus ever mention, and I'm asking some of these questions.
I know the answers to them.
But did he ever mention a two-stage return event?
Never.
Never came up.
No.
And what I mean by that is, you know, as Jesus, he comes, he raptures his church, he leaves for seven years,
he comes back with his army and a white horse, and everyone's in one.
No, he never said that.
And my sarcasm comes out in the book at that point, because I said,
maybe Jesus missed the planning meeting in heaven
before he came to earth he he just skipped that meeting and that's when his heavenly father
laid out the rapture plan or maybe he didn't get the memo when he came to earth or maybe
possibly he had it written on a piece of paper and it was in his shirt pocket.
And when John baptized him in the Jordan,
he got wet.
He goes, oh no, my heavenly father said,
whatever you do, don't lose that piece of paper.
And the rapture was written on it.
I don't know, but he never said it.
He never said, hey, I mean, I want to tell you a secret.
Now, I'm not, I don't want you disciples to tell anybody this because I don't want this to be in the Bible.
We want this to be, this is just between you and me.
I'm going to come back twice.
It didn't happen.
But the crazy thing is they, according to their rapture theology, which is tied into Zionism,
it's twice, but they explain it as though it's once.
Yes.
It does not make sense.
So what else is in this book?
Prophecy clues in the parables.
I spent, after I wrote this book, the first edition, I spent two years studying the parables.
I remember.
Yeah.
You were telling me parable stories in your interpretation based on early church writings.
Who were some of these other guys that you were? Spurgeon, Alexander McLaren,
who was a Baptist preacher in Great Britain,
and G. Campbell Morgan.
Morgan, yeah.
Those three really influenced me.
And so, you know, Susan and I,
we lived with you and Tiana for five months
when we were waiting on our house to be renovated,
which should have taken three weeks, but it took five months.
But, hey, it was a wonderful time.
It was great.
But I was getting up every morning around 4 and reading McLaurin and Spurgeon and Morgan.
And so that went on for about two years.
Well, when it came time to issue the second edition,
the Lord had changed me so much
that Spurgeon and Morgan and McLaren
were oozing out of me
so that when I began to rewrite the chapters of Final Day, I couldn't get
their teachings out of my mind.
It had gotten down inside of me.
And what really got down inside of me was a different way to read the scriptures to
see it.
And what was that?
It's just deeper. I mean, I would read, you read Morgan or you read McLaurin,
and you realize, I never saw all these things in the Bible.
I never, I didn't know these things existed.
In understanding the scriptures, the way that they would teach them, okay?
And it, I really believe my brain was rewired.
Wow.
It was a different way of reading things, of understanding.
And then I began to seek the Lord.
Jeremy, when I rewrote Final Day, and this is really almost a complete rewrite.
It is, yeah.
This is an easier read. It's simple to
follow. This is probably, I'm not saying
this because you're my dad, but it is the best end times book I have ever read.
It is that good. I appreciate that. It's simplified.
Yes. Because the end time, the return
of Jesus is not complex to begin with.
Very simple. It's simple. It is very simple. As I rewrote Final Day, every day as I began writing,
I prayed, Father, help me to tell, help me to tell the story from your point of view, not my point of view, from
your point of view. And that's the way I would start every day in writing. Lord, write through
me, inspire my hands, my mind, my thoughts that I would write this book from your point
of view. And that's, when I started praying like that, I started seeing things I had never seen before.
And this is just from some of the things, the bullets on the back page.
So the prophecy clues and the parables.
The parables tell us things about the second coming.
Jesus said if you don't understand the parable of the sower, you don't understand any of the parables.
During the writing of this book,
I came to realize that the parable of the sowers,
this is going to mess some people up,
but if you'll seek the Lord and you'll read the Word,
the seed, the seed that is sown is not the Word of God.
That's what I was familiar with. Okay, keep going.
But the Lord showed me, no, the seed is you.
It's every believer. It's the Word in you.
But the seed is the believer.
He sows.
He sows the seed into the world.
He's sowing people.
His kingdom.
Into his kingdom.
And where does he sow seed?
Where the world is hurting.
Wow.
Why?
Because he wants a harvest.
His word is in you. He sows you, a believer, into a part of his field
where there is pain and lack and hurt and want. And he wants you with the word in you to produce
a harvest for his kingdom. He doesn't harvest his word. He harvests his souls yes so where did he plant you in Tiana
he planted you in a part of his field where there's a lot of pain and
suffering addictions bondage and so you're blooming you're producing a
harvest because the word is in you and you're you're you're blossoming in that
part of his it's his field the world is his you and you're blossoming in that part of his, it's his field.
The world is his field.
Anyhow, the second coming, the second coming of Christ is in the parable.
So that's in the book.
The proof, that old Caiaphas, the high priest, that old rascal absolutely knew that Jesus Christ was the Messiah.
And I give you the proof.
It is undeniable.
Caiaphas and all of the Jewish rulers that crucified Christ, they absolutely knew he was the Son of God.
There's no doubt.
And you've got that in the book.
Jesus said so. Okay. And you've got that in the book. Jesus said so.
Okay.
And he said it in a parable.
And when he gave the parable,
the Bible says,
and they perceived
he was talking about them.
Wow.
All right.
He's looking at him going,
I know what you're up to.
You know that I know.
You're planning,
you're planning on killing me.
And I know. And you now know that I know. You're planning on killing me. And I know. And
you now know that I know. All right. It's in the book. What was the one item that Caiaphas wanted
to steal from Jesus? I reveal it in the book. There was something that Caiaphas wanted. Not
only Caiaphas, but all the Jewish rulers. They wanted something that Jesus had. They wanted to steal it from him.
The Bible tells us, and yet we've overlooked it for years.
It's right there in the Bible. What did Jesus
say at the trial? It was a sham trial. They held it late at night.
The whole thing was illegal. Jesus said one thing that just
sent old Caiaphas.
Freaked out.
Oh, he freaked out.
He ripped his robe apart.
He's pulling his hair.
He's spitting.
He's foaming.
What did Jesus say?
It's revealed in the book.
And I'll tell you why it sent that old boy spinning.
All right.
Because he knew what Jesus said.
He knew what it meant.
What he said had to do with his return.
Yes. Yes. I mean, Jesus talked about his return more than anybody.
Yes. And when he made it real simple.
And when Caiaphas heard Jesus at the trial talking about how he's coming back.
Yeah. He went berserk. He went wacko. I also explain why every human and every animal, including blind bats, will see Jesus coming back.
That's a good one.
Because how does someone on the other side of the world see Jesus return if he comes from one direction?
Okay, so in the early days of Christian television, and, you know, I worked at CBN and TBN.
And Jeremy was four years old when I went to work at CBN.
In Virginia Beach.
It's been a long time, hasn't it?
It's been a while.
A long time.
And you were in college.
You had just graduated from high school.
Well, you were still in high school when I went to work at TBN,
and then you were in college those years.
And so back in those days, Pat Robertson, Paul Crouch, oh, I'm trying to think, you know, a lot of the early broadcasters, Lester Summerall, all these men, they believed that the answer to how everybody would see Jesus return was that it would be on Christian television.
That the satellites, in fact, Paul Crouch believed that the angels that were encircling the earth, crying out.
Yeah, were satellites.
He believed that they were satellites.
OK, the three angels.
Yes, he believed that they were satellites. And so they three angels. Yes. He believed that they were satellites.
And so they believed that everybody was going to be watching Christian TV.
Well, that doesn't make sense.
Because it would mean that Jesus is, you know, he comes from heaven a gazillion miles an hour.
He gets to the earth's atmosphere.
He hits his afterburners.
He slows down, you know down you know parachute comes out
you know he slows it down and then he's like coming down really slow because
you got to get the cameras time okay they got to zoom in and they gotta get
fixed on this object that's coming in so he's slowing it down he's he's coming
down all right and then everybody's
got to wake up not everybody's awake a lot of people are asleep at this half the world's asleep
so they all get to wake up and they got to turn on the tv or now with the phones and everybody's
got to be watching something now that's man trying to explain the supernatural using the natural.
God's going to use our technology to do the supernatural.
And he's had to wait thousands of years until we made cameras.
Until we get the technology.
To do it.
Yeah.
So it's not the answer.
The answer is so simple that when you read it, you're going to go, oh, my.
Why didn't we see this before? It's so simple that when you read it, you're going to go, oh my, why didn't we see this before?
It's so simple.
It's so simple, I'm almost embarrassed.
How do you miss it?
Yeah, it's like, how did we miss this?
The next one, the trigger that sparks
the transformation of our mortal bodies.
So, in Christ's return, all the graves open,
the dead in Christ come out, and the wicked come out.
A lot of people don't understand that.
The rapture people, Darby, the modern ones,
Hagee, and all these people,
they teach that the wicked don't come out of the graves
until 1, thousand years later
that that's the judgment a thousand years at the end of this thousand year jewish kingdom
jesus said they all come out all the graves open so they all come out so there's something that
there's something that happens. There's a moment.
Now think about this, Jeremy.
The dead in Christ,
those who have passed away before Jesus returns,
they come out of the graves.
Their soul is united with this new body that they have.
Because it's not their old body that comes out of the grave.
I mean, so many people have been dead 6,000 years.
Okay? Ain't much there. He doesn't need to refurbish it.
It's a new body that comes out of the grave.
So the dead in Christ who are now resurrected.
Let me rephrase this. Those of us who are alive and remain, we're still in our
physical bodies. We will see
the resurrection of the dead.
But the dead who get
resurrected in glorified bodies will see the transformation
of the living wow both groups
see one is the church triumphant those are the ones who have passed away church triumphant
church militant those who are alive on the earth at the time he comes back
so you and i all of us we're in church militant. We're alive now, okay?
Church triumphant.
Those are the saints who have gone on before us.
Both watch this transformation take place.
Both get to see the other group get their new bodies.
What is it?
What is the one moment?
Both get their new bodies
because of one thing it's in the book okay it's this one thing that triggers
the the body to change in the twinkling of an eye we're transformed it's awesome um
the proof yeah this is a big Yeah, this is a big one.
Yeah, this is a big one. Oh, boy, this is because you're going to start a food fight
or war. Yeah. Yeah. Or the
proof Jerusalem will be destroyed, not rescued.
Yep. And fight words there. You better believe it.
So what have we heard during the years of President Trump?
He moved the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem,
and they said it is the eternal capital of Israel.
What does eternal mean?
Forever.
Forever.
I mean, all these Christian Zionists that ran to Jerusalem
and celebrated the moving of the U.S. Embassy,
they all said Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel.
No, it's not.
New Jerusalem is the eternal capital.
So what happens to old Jerusalem?
It gets destroyed.
It gets burned up.
The first thing that happens is a massive earthquake
that splits the city into three parts.
So is Israel, is Jerusalem under judgment?
It has been since they crucified Jesus.
Hold that thought because the city that is now called Jerusalem, it will be destroyed. God calls it Sodom and Egypt.
In Revelation 11. He calls it the harlot. It is Babylon. And the Bible tells us so.
How do we know?
It says, it describes the great city, the harlot.
It says, the city that crucified our Lord.
Yeah, that's not figurative.
He wasn't crucified in Toledo.
Yeah, that's not figurative either.
That's a physical place.
Yes.
Sodom and Egypt, the place that crucified, the place that our Lord was place. Yes. Sodom and Egypt, the place that crucified,
the place that our Lord was crucified.
Yes.
So, and what is Sodom and Egypt?
Sodom is sin.
Egypt is captivity.
Yes, you got it.
That's it.
So, God describes Jerusalem, Israel,
today's Jerusalem, Israel, as Sodom and Egypt.
It's a place of spiritual captivity. I mean, a spiritual sin
of wickedness, and it's a place of captivity.
Egypt is captivity. In the Bible.
In the Bible. Many Egyptians watch this. We don't mean that you're in captivity.
It's a spiritual term in the Bible.
Here's another thing. I don't know if you've gotten to this part
of the Bible in the book, Final Days. You're up to what? Chapter 8?
Yeah.
Okay. So the city that they claim is Jerusalem today, it's not Jerusalem.
This is in Chapter 8?
I don't know what chapter it's in.
It might be chapter...
So what is Jerusalem if that's not Jerusalem today?
What did Jesus say would happen to Jerusalem
in the temple?
He said it would be destroyed
and not one stone would be standing upon another.
So in 70 AD, that prophecy came true.
It was Jesus who led the Roman army to Jerusalem.
A lot of Christians, they don't want to go down that road.
Jesus.
Jesus oversaw the destruction of Jerusalem to fulfill his prophecy. He oversaw it from his throne in heaven.
He inspired Titus, the Roman general, to invade Jerusalem and destroy it.
And what year was that?
70 AD.
70 AD, okay. He inspired Titus to ransack and utterly
destroy the city and to upend every stone. Every building came down. Every wall came down.
None of us knocked it down, but they moved the rocks off of each other. There wasn't one rock standing on top
of another rock in the city. Utterly destroyed.
Now, we're supposed to believe that this
city that's there now is old Jerusalem.
And so the Catholic Church has the
Via Dolorosa. I'm sorry to my dear Catholic friends if you traveled to Israel to
do the walk the Via Dolorosa
the 12 stations of the cross you got taken
it's a tourist trap
you didn't go see the western wall
because they tore the wall down.
So it's about 10 feet under where it currently is.
Yes. So
the western wall. The wailing wall.
Okay. Why are you wailing?
You're wailing because you're not saved.
If you're saved, you're not wailing.
I don't have to go to the wailing wall and wear the little cap
and stick my little prayer thing
in the crack in the wall.
I'm not wailing.
I'm saved.
I'm happy.
I'm gloriously saved.
I'm full of joy.
Why do I want to go to an old wall
and wail?
Okay? But that wall is not, that's not the Western wall I'm full of joy. Why do I want to go to an old wall and wail? Okay.
But that wall is not, that's not the Western wall of the temple.
Because Jesus said, we're going to demolish the temple.
Now, if that is the Western wall of the temple, then Jesus lied.
Who's lying?
The Zionists or Jesus?
Which one?
Pick one. Is that old jerusalem or did jesus tell a lie which one is it jesus said not one stone would be standing i believe
him now here's what happened i think it was in the year one uh 130 something. What's it matter? 130 something.
A Roman
leader, Hadrian,
went to Jerusalem, old Jerusalem, which is now rubble.
The city was destroyed 70 AD. He shows up
130 something.
There's nothing there.
Just rats. Weeds.
He built a new city.
A new Roman city for the
Roman gods.
Really?
What you're visiting there is
Hadrian City.
I always mispronounce it.
Aiella.
Aiella.
And where was he from?
Capitolina.
Aiella.
Capitolina, I think is how it's pronounced.
All right.
He was from, he was a Roman.
He was a Roman.
Roman.
Okay, they're in control of the region.
He says, hey, this is rubble.
This used to be that old jewish city
jerusalem it's been destroyed uh we're gonna we're gonna put a new city here aiella capitalina
which was a a a tribute to a roman god a goddess okay so that city that's there now that everybody's going on tourist trips to walk the street,
it's a tourist trap.
I believe Jesus.
He said it's all coming down.
And he already tore it down.
He's going to tear it down again.
Yeah.
Okay.
Because he said he would.
He's going to split it three ways.
All right.
So it's all in the book. All right. it's all in the book.
All right.
It's all in this book.
You ought to get yourself a copy.

So, Jeremy, let's start it.
We already did yesterday.
We spent a lot of time talking about the first chapter, his second coming shall be singular.
Chapter two is his second coming shall be sudden and unexpected.
Now, you are a student of the great flood.
You know more about the flood than I'll ever know.
And I learned a lot about Noah's flood from you.
Okay.
And so years ago,
Jeremy went to Turkey,
climbed Mount Ararat.
You searched that whole area.
And not only that,
you traveled around the world
and lived with tribes who knew flood stories, who had flood stories, ancient flood
stories. And those stories are all around the world. And they're similar aren't
they? Oh yeah very similar. In China, in the Philippines, okay you've been to
those places you've talked to the tribes. So they all have a similar message in them.
So the great flood came suddenly and unexpectedly
for the people who were not listening to God.
It wasn't unexpected for Noah and his family.
No, not for Noah.
But when God commanded Noah to build the ark, Noah moved with fear.
It says he moved with fear to build the ark.
It's like, hey, this thing's going to happen that God told me about.
This world's going to get destroyed.
I got to get this thing built.
And he took 120 years to do it so the fear was produced by
the Lord's announcement to him I'm going to destroy all living creatures on the land
that truly the fear of God came in Noah but by faith he built an ark for the saving of his family. Faith and fear
together. It was godly fear and godly
faith. So he built the ark. Now
Jesus said his return would be as in the days of Noah.
He said, hey, they were eating, drinking, marrying, they just had
a good old time.
Just like every day.
Just like it is right now.
But he said the flood came and swept them all away.
That's what his return is like.
So where is the secret rapture followed seven years later by the second coming?
See, his word,
Jesus' word refutes the rapture doctrine.
He tied it directly to the flood.
In the same way that the flood happens suddenly,
his return happens suddenly,
and there's great destruction thereafter.
And the wicked are swept away. And the righteous are saved in an ark who is jesus
sealed with one door that he closed to be even more specific jeremy and this is probably not
the day to do this teaching but apostle peter said the ark is baptism. He said, where unto we are saved.
He mentions the ark and he says, where as we are saved.
The reason is baptism is the official entry into the church.
But is that baptism with the Holy Spirit or baptism with water?
With water.
Okay.
Wait a minute.
Think about this.
This is where father and son might disagree a little bit.
So in the first flood, judgment was brought.
Death.
With water.
Death came to sinners through water.
In the second one, life.
Life comes through water.
Okay?
Those who have been baptized in water, they have entered the ark.
All right?
They've entered the church of Christ.
What is the church? The church is the body, the body of Christ.'ve entered the church of christ what is the church
the church is the body the body of christ he's the head of the church it is to water that we
are saved for the second judgment it was in the first judgment water was used to bring death
and judgment a big question though is what is it figurative in terms of you're being baptized
with the holy spirit or physically with actual water well when when did the holy spirit come
upon jesus and he obviously you know he is the father son holy spirit but on earth, the Holy Spirit descended as a dove when he came out of the water.
Yeah.
Okay.
So the sealing of the Holy Spirit takes place at baptism.
We follow the steps of Jesus.
We're going through all the steps.
And at death, we go through the same thing.
We go through all the life cycles.
Jesus was born, became an adult.
He dies.
He then is in the grave.
He is then resurrected.
He ascends to go back to God.
We go through the entire process.
We follow his steps.
And we will ascend when he comes back we will ascend into the air
to be joined with our heavenly father we go through every every cycle that he went through
he is he is our uh he is our role model he is our guide he we're doing what he did. So going back to sudden and unexpected, another example is that Jesus brought up was Lot.
Okay, so what happened with Lot?
Two angels come to Sodom, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.
So think about this with Lot.
Why was Lot in Sodom?
The Bible tells us why.
His uncle was Abram.
At that time, he was still Abram.
So Uncle Abram.
Uncle Abram had taken care of Lot.
Lot's his nephew.
And Lot didn't have anything if it wasn't for Abram. taking care of Lot. Lot's his nephew.
And Lot didn't have anything if it wasn't for Abram.
So they get to the promised land
and Uncle Abram says,
here it is, look at this.
What land do you want? What land? Okay. here it is, look at this. What would,
what land do you want?
What land?
Okay.
And Lot should have,
Lot should have deferred to his uncle.
He should have said,
Uncle Abram,
it's not for me to go first.
I'm going to, I'm going to stand down.
I want you to pick the land you want.
But not Lot.
He looked out to where Sodom and Gomorrah were at.
He said, I want out there.
I want that land.
Where did Abram get?
The old rocky, stony mountains and hills, okay?
But Abram didn't gripe and complain.
But the Bible says Lot pitched his tent towards Sodom.
He turned his heart.
He said, I want my home to be looking towards Sodom.
Okay? I want my home to be looking towards Sodom. Okay.
Yep.
I want my home.
I think he could hear the sinful noises coming out of the cities.
He could hear the laughter, the drunkenness.
He could hear.
I said in the book, it's like if you were walking through the Nevada desert at night
and suddenly you can see Vegas.
Yeah.
And you can hear the noises coming out of Vegas.
Lot would have pitched his tent towards Vegas.
Okay.
So going back to angels visit Lot.
Now, he was some kind of leader.
The Bible says he sat at the city gates.
He was like a city councilman.
He was probably a Republican, elected on family values, and was going to make Sodom great again.
But he had the hat.
He had the hat he had the hat yeah yeah and and and so he people were voting for
voting for uh lot because he he was the conservative on the city council i'm just
you know i'm making this up but anyhow he was some kind of city leader
and he was vexed by what was there and yet the bible says he was a righteous man
that part is difficult for
me to understand he he was attracted to it and yet he was vexed by it yeah he pitched his tent
towards sodom and yet the bible says he's a righteous man yeah yeah So, Jeremy, is there something in us
that even though we're saved,
we still have this attraction
towards things that are sinful?
Well, we have this draw towards
pleasing the desires of the flesh.
I think that's what he was struggling with,
which was, I want what this city has,
but I want to live
a righteous life.
And he was torn
between the two.
He was living in two worlds.
He had one foot
in each camp.
Yeah.
Which makes you what?
Miserable.
Yeah, that's right.
Just makes you miserable.
Either just go ahead
and sin and get over it
and live that way
or be righteous.
Don't try to live with one foot in each camp.
So the angels show up.
Two angels show up and they tell Lot, hey, Sodom and Gomorrah, they're on the short list.
We're going to burn the place down.
We're going to burn it.
We're going to toast it.
I mean, it's coming soon. There's going to be the place down. We're going to burn it. We're going to burn it. So I'm sure of this. I mean, it's coming soon.
There's going to be fire and brimstone.
We got instructions from heaven to get you out of here.
Okay.
Well, what did Lot do?
We don't really understand why.
I call him Lollygagging Lot.
And I kind of jokingly speculated, did he go into his garage?
He'd start looking at tools and saying, I want to take this one.
I want to pack this.
Was he going through his closet trying to see which shirts he wanted to take with him?
Whatever he was doing, there was no sense of urgency. He just had two angels
tell him, God is going to burn down these cities. You need to
flee now. But he didn't flee.
He was taking his time. So the angels
come back. This time, they literally, let's go.
They pulled him by his lapel and said, you're going now.
Okay. His wife went with him. His daughters went with him, but his sons-in-law laughed at him.
Mm-hmm. They burned up. They burned up. His wife gets outside of the city,
looks back at the city,
reminiscing, thinking about, man,
there were some good shopping malls there.
Theater, great restaurants.
I'm going to miss this place.
And she turned into a pillar of salt.
When I go to Jordan next month, God willing,
I'm going to go see Mrs. Lott.
There's still brimstone there.
Yes, and there's a statue.
I mean, not a man-made.
There is a natural, human-like statue
in the area where Sodom and Gomorrah was.
And the Jordanians say, that's her.
She's been here ever since.
Now, maybe it's just a rock formation that happens to look like a woman.
But they say it's Mrs. Lot, okay?
Here's the point.
Jesus said his return would be as in the days of Noah and as a lot
when lot left Sodom immediately the fire fell not seven years later Wow, that's a good point. Immediately. The moment he left the city.
And do you remember Lot even negotiated with the angels in where he would flee to?
He wanted to go to a particular city and they said, oh no.
The fire is going to hit them too.
And so he negotiated. well, how about this city
over here? Okay. Okay. We're not burning that place. You can go there. I mean, a lot was even
negotiating about where to hide. Okay. But the point I'm making is Jesus said his return would
be as in the days of Noah, the moment, The moment Noah and his family got in the boat, it started raining.
It started raining. The wicked were swept away.
Jesus said his return would be as it was with Lot. When Lot
left the city, immediately the fire fell.
By the way, who shut the door on the ark?
God shut the door. So the door was shut the door on the ark? Yeah, God shut the door.
So the door was shut and locked from the outside.
And sealed.
And sealed.
So Noah on the inside could not get out.
All right?
He could not get out.
So that means God opened the door when the storm was over, when the rain was over.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, it says that he took off the,
I think it says he took off the covering
off the ark.
But, yeah, so.
Go ahead.
Chapter 3, his second coming shall be atmospheric.
What do you mean by that? It's going to be loud.
No, it's atmospheric. It's in the air.
Okay.
It happens in the air. His second coming, this all takes place in the air.
He returns in the air.
The angel said, they told the disciples when Jesus ascended 40 days after the resurrection, Jesus gave the disciples the Great Commission.
And then he starts lifting up and going up in the air.
And he was received into a cloud.
He went into a cloud and disappeared.
So I kind of speculated Peter probably said, whoa what's going on what was that now what did we just
see you know and an angel said hey guys don't stand there gawking up into the sky this same
jesus that you saw go up will come we'll come down. Which Jesus?
The same Jesus.
The same Jesus who walked on the earth in a human body
and then
came out of the grave
with a resurrected glorified
body. That Jesus
is going to come back. And he's going to
come back in the air, in the
atmosphere. How's he coming back? in the air, in the atmosphere.
How's he coming back?
On clouds.
What is the biblical significance of the clouds?
Clouds, God always appeared to man in clouds.
It represents his glory.
It's kind of his Rolls Royce.
It's his sports car.
He likes to ride in clouds, all right?
I don't know what it is.
Clouds represent the divine presence of his glory.
And so he was received up into clouds, divine presence, glory. He shall descend in clouds.
Exodus 13, 21.
And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud.
Yeah.
For the Hebrews when they left Egypt.
To lead them away.
He led them in a cloud.
Yep.
How did God meet Moses on the mountain?
In a cloud.
Yeah, in a cloud.
He descended.
In the mist of a cloud.
He descended in a cloud.
Yeah.
God always shows up in a cloud.
How did he rescue David?
David said his enemies were moving in on him,
and God arrived hidden in a cloud and smote his enemies.
David's enemies didn't even see God coming.
God was hidden behind the cloud.
Clouds, there's just something about clouds. This is the way he enters the atmosphere.
So he comes back in a cloud and there's a meeting in the air.
And we're received into the clouds to meet him. The glory, the presence. Once again, the VIP,
the nobleman, the king,
the parousia.
You welcome the king.
He's enclosed.
He's enveloped.
He's enveloped. He's surrounded.
He's wrapped in clouds of glory.
And we are lifted up.
Harpazo. Not rapier, rape.ier rape harpazo we're snatched up to meet him
in the clouds yeah that's the glory of this he doesn't come down to earth and set up a kingdom
in jerusalem he destroys jerusalem he burns it in fact when we go up the fire comes down
just like it was with Lot when Lot went out the fire came down when we go up the fire comes down
the fire comes down and burns up this earth burns it we the saints the saints will feel the heat on their feet. As we go up, we're literally going to feel the heat
of the earth burning.
And we're going to be there with him
with two different emotions,
this overwhelming joy and elation of being with the Lord,
but also looking down and saying,
it's over.
It's over.
But had I not been saved,
I would be there.
By his grace, I am saved.
By his mercy, I'm saved.
Look at that fireball.
We got out just in time.
Yep.
There's no seven-year tribulation.
There's no thousand-year kingdom.
He says he comes back with a shout. 1 Thessalonians
for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout.
That's what wakes up the graves. That's why all the dead come out of the graves.
They wake up. You can't sleep when Jesus is shouting.
But that clearly contradicts the rapture because the rapture says
it's this sneaky, snatching away event
that happens without anyone noticing and suddenly
taxi cabs are without drivers and planes
crash and all this. He comes back with a shout.
It's a shout. It's noisy.
It's very noisy. It's noisy. It's very noisy.
It's not silent.
And it's visible.
Chapter 4 is visible.
It's secretive.
Every eye will see him.
Jesus can't come into our dimension of time, space, and matter.
You tell me that the Son of God,
the resurrected Son of God, Jesus Christ.
You tell me he's going to leave heaven and come into our dimension of time, space, and matter,
and nobody sees him, nobody hears him.
It doesn't disrupt the cosmos.
Yeah, that's what I don't understand.
I don't understand how this theology has stayed in place for so long.
What do you think had happened? He's just in heaven
right now. He is the king of heaven. His father gave him the kingdom when he ascended. He was
given a kingdom. He's the king of heaven right now. We have the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of
God. The kingdom of heaven is inside the kingdom of God. We're in the kingdom of heaven
right now. When he comes back, we're in the full kingdom of God. The kingdom of heaven, there's no
need for it at that point. We're now fully in the kingdom of God, but right now we're in the kingdom
of heaven. He is the king of heaven. When he stands up from his throne in heaven and just walks out onto the street just to take a walk.
Millions of angels are bowing down. Glory, glory, glory. There's fire. There's fire coming out of
his shoes. I mean, the man is awesome. Yeah, a sword out of his mouth.
He's awesome, Jeremy.
He's awesome.
And he's not trying to do anything.
It's just like when he walks, fire coming out of his toe.
I mean, he's just God, okay?
You're telling me he's going to come back here secretly?
Nobody sees him.
Nobody hears him.
The universe isn't even bothered.
Oh, no. Every eye shall see him the universe will crack up
it can't handle it it can't the universe can't contain it can't stay together with the creator
here it's and let's not, we got that trumpet thing.
The trumpet's a little noisy.
You're going to hear it.
You are going to hear it. So every eye shall see him, including the people who pierced Jesus.
Yeah, because they're going to be, think about it, they're going to be alive.
Okay, I'm going to read you something.
This is Old Testament.
Okay, Old Testament.
Zechariah, chapter 12, verse 10.
And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplications.
Now listen to this. And they
shall look upon me whom they have pierced and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for
his only son and shall be in bitterness for him as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. That is a prophecy of Jesus in the Old Testament saying the Jews whom they pierced, they shall
look upon him when he returns.
The ones who crucified, the Romans who pierced his side shall see him when he comes back.
Then John chapter 5.
Marvel not at this for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and shall come forth.
They that have done good unto the resurrection of life and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation.
Jeremy, everybody's resurrected.
Good and bad, saved and unsaved,
righteous and wicked.
Everybody is resurrected.
Everybody, wait a minute, this is more. Yeah, yeah, keep going.
Everybody gets a new body.
Everybody gets a new body.
Some get a body, a new body, a glorified body unto life, eternity with God.
Others, the wicked, they get a new body unto death.
They get a body that will not die.
It'll be in fire forever and will not burn up, will not die.
They get a resurrected body that fire can't extinguish,
cannot burn it up into cinders.
We get a resurrected body that cannot die, eternal life.
They get eternal death and can't die.
We get eternal life and can't die. We get eternal life and can't die.
Everybody gets a new body. That's eternal. That's eternal.
They will be in the lake of fire forever. No escape, no exodures, no water coolers, nothing.
Even God can't hear you screaming.
That's why I don't want anybody including my worst enemies
to go to the lake of fire.
I don't want anybody there.
It's a horrible thought.
Yep.
We passed our time
pretty much.
I forgot the cameras were here.
I know.
Here's a big question around this,
because if there's a resurrection of the dead
at his second advent,
then what happens when you die?
Do you go to heaven?
You mean now?
Yeah.
Oh, boy.
We are forever in the presence of the Lord.
I personally don't believe people are walking around in heaven.
Yeah, that's how I feel.
I believe that they're resting somewhere in a blissful state of happiness. Without time.
Without time. They're in the presence of the Lord. I believe
the unsaved that when they die
they're in a very
tormented sleep. Where that's at,
I don't know.
But there's a judgment day. There's a judgment day.
You have to be reunited with your body and you have to be there for judgment day.
Okay. If you already
got your reward and you're in heaven,
then what's the point in judgment day?
Yeah.
What are you going to do? Why are you showing up?
Yeah.
Because he clearly says he puts a group to his right
and a group to his left.
That's right.
So what are we doing that for if I've already been judged
and I got my pass?
That's right.
So I know it messes up people's,
because they want to believe that Aunt...
Shirley.
Shirley is, you know, walking around in heaven
and they want to believe that Uncle Bob
is fishing in heaven's lakes.
And, you know, they want to believe all that.
But then what would be the purpose
in having judgment day?
Well, it makes us feel good. The resurrection is to reunite
your... Death is the separation of your spirit
from your body. The resurrection is the
reuniting of your spirit with your body.
That's simple. It's just that simple. There's going to be a
resurrection. That simple? It's just that simple. There's going to be a resurrection, okay?
So Jesus did not ascend to go to his father
until he was resurrected.
We follow the steps of Jesus, okay?
And I believe we will be united with our father
at the resurrection.
And in fact,
I'll add this one final comment.
It is commonly said in American churches,
after the rapture, we're going to heaven.
No, you're not.
No, you're not.
Heaven's coming to us because New Jerusalem, there's a new earth, a new heaven, and God himself moves to New Jerusalem. I believe he gets rid of the old
heaven because it had sin in it. There's no need for it. We're not spending eternity in heaven.
We're spending eternity on the new earth.
We have feet.
We're terra firma people.
Okay.
God is moving here.
We're not moving to his place.
He's moving to our new place.
We're all moving in together.
One big family.
Because the drama is over.
The controversy with the nations will have ended.
Well, he said there's a new heaven and a new earth.
So he destroyed heaven.
Yes, and he creates a new heaven.
He also, Jesus also gives himself a new name.
Everything's new. He gives you a new name. He gives me a new name. He gives himself a new name. Everything's new.
He gives you a new name.
He gives me a new name.
He gives himself a new name.
Everything is new.
Behold, I make all things new.
It's a new creation.
It's absolutely new.
So the next book, I don't know if it'll be the very next book,
because I'm trying to write a book right now on The Greatest Reset,
but the next big book that I want to do
is what happens the first day.
What is life like the first day after the last day?
This book is the final day.
This is what happens on the
very last day
of mankind
the very last day
there's a lot of books
about the last days
this is the only book
about the last day
so I want to write a book
on what happens
on the first day
after the last day
what is that like
it's a brand new creation God creates again what happens on the first day after the last day. What is that like?
It's a brand new creation.
God creates again.
He is a creator.
He's still a creator.
The way he creates now is he creates through you and me.
You, you make films. All right?
I write books.
Okay?
This is creativity.
Maybe you're a home builder.
God's creating through you.
You're creating a house. God is always creating. Artists that paint beautiful landscapes,
God's creating. Sculptors, God's creating. But Satan always wants to pervert that gift and make something filthy and dirty and obscene god's always trying to get us he wants to create through us because he's a creator
okay so when he comes back he gets to create again a whole new universe
jesus jesus went to prepare a place for us that's not as little. Everybody thinks I'm getting a mansion,
you know, up in heaven.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Or they wrote gospel songs on that one.
Oh, yes.
A little cabin in heaven.
I'm a big one.
Actually, I go to prepare a place for you.
That word place, the accurate word is position.
I go to prepare a position for you.
Okay. A position, prepare a position for you. A position.
A place in his kingdom.
He will create an entirely
new cosmos.
Everything. The entire cosmos
is new. He just hits the reset
button. That is the
great reset. The greatest reset ever.
This is a
simplified telling of the last day.
You have simplified it to such an extent that a 10-year-old can understand this.
Jesus comes back.
He burns a place down.
He gathers his children.
I mean, it should be so simple that children can give the gospel to people.
Yes, it is the gospel.
Without a big complicated prophecy chart.
All right.
Hey, the book, we'll send it out to you right away.
It is $19.95 plus shipping.
Go to truenews.com, click the banner.
And you can also go to finalday.com. It'll just bring you back to
True News. But if you can't figure out what to do, how to get the book, just go to finalday.com.
You can get the book for a $100 donation for the support of True News for this ministry.
I'll send you a copy that I have personally autographed with my blue ink pen. I do them all in blue ink just to
let you know I'm doing it myself. Nobody's doing it. No employees, not a rubber stamp.
I'm not paying anybody to sit here and sign books. I am personally doing it myself. And
our employees will tell you, yeah, he's doing it. He has piles of books that have to be autographed. I'm honored to do it. Grateful to do it.
Sometimes my R's get a little bit
sloppy. I was thinking about maybe
doing an autograph without the R.
So you get Ickwiles for $100.
For $200, you get the R.
Because I have to spend more time making the R.
After I've signed a whole bunch of them, I don't know what it is.
People need to tell their friends about this, too.
Tell your pastor.
Get a copy for your pastor.
Yeah.
Yes.
Make this thing go viral.
Get this around the world.
This is revelational.
Yes.
Powerful. We'll have an
e-book coming soon and we
will have the audio book probably sometime
around May. I'm still recording
and we'll get that out.
If they get
the printed book now
do they have to buy the audio book
later? How does that work?
It'll be, we'll have the audio book
on Audible and it'll be on a'll have the audio book on Audible.
Yeah, perfect. And it'll be on a website.
Because you want to read it now. Yes.
And get the audio book and listen to it then.
That's right. Yeah. Because
when you're listening,
you'll get more information. You could be
listening to it as you drive, as you go to work.
Yeah. You know, as you're walking,
jogging, whatever you're doing,
making dinner, you could be listening to the book.
Hey, that's it for today.
Take this weekend and spend time with your heavenly father.
Just make time.
Turn off the world.
Turn off the clutter.
Turn off the news, the garbage.
It's just the same stuff day after day after day.
It's getting worse and worse and worse.
Just cut it out. Spend this weekend being quiet. Spend time with your family. Spend time laughing.
Spend time looking at God's creation. Spend time talking to your father. Spend time in his word.
Just do something different this weekend and just watch the difference it makes
in your life. You'll have a very blessed time. Find a church to go to. Watch New Zion. You can
go to truenews.com this Sunday and watch New Zion Assembly. Doc Burkhart, we already have a message.
All right. Doc pre-recorded a sermon for this week before he took his trip.
Okay.
So you'll have a good sermon this week at New Zion.
Jeremy, that church service, that has taken off.
There are thousands of people over the world watching New Zion.
It averages about 12,000 to 15,000 every week on every continent of the world.
Wow.
Think about the size of the church building.
We would have to build to hold 15,000 people.
But we have them every week with the new Zion Assembly.
And so it's just another thing where the Lord is using technology
and this wonderful studio that he has built for us through your gifts and your
generosity. We're able to reach people all over the world. We're just reading the emails and the
letters that come in from around the world, people telling us they're watching New Zion
and they're watching True News. And to all our Jordanian brothers and sisters, including the Bedouin in Petra.
God willing, I'm going to be there in about one month.
Can't wait to meet you.
That's it for today.
God bless.
On behalf of my son, Jeremy, we love you very much.
Thank you for watching.
We'll be back here on Monday. The preceding program was made possible by the faithful prayers and financial support
of listeners just like you. To find out how you can help, visit www.truenews.com.
