Our mailing address for all correspondence is True News, P.O. Box 690069, Fairview Beach, Florida 32969. This is True News, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us God. Three children and three adults were murdered today in a Nashville Christian school. The mass shooting occurred at the Presbyterian Covenant School. The killer was identified only as a female, age 28. Her name has not yet been released by police officials.
Starting point is 00:01:00 The shooter was killed by Nashville police officers. And this is some video of the scene where the shooting took place in Nashville earlier today, Rick. And for those that are familiar with Nashville, this is near Harding Place and one of the major intersections there of Nashville. This is a prominent church in Nashville, Tennessee. And of course, this is not only shocking for Nashville, but for the entire country as well. Well, President Joe Biden has been criticized for his untimely remarks immediately after the mass school shooting. Television news networks went live from the White House with the expectation that the president would speak about the Nashville
Starting point is 00:01:45 Christian school tragedy. Instead, he talked about ice cream. Here's the video. My name is Joe Biden. I'm Dr. Joe Biden's husband. And I ate Jenny's ice cream, chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream. By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think I'm kidding. I'm not. Ben, how are you, pal? One of the best guys in the United States Congress, Ben Cardin.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Folks, it's a delight to have you all here. And who are those good-looking kids back there? Are your kids all four of them? Well, stand up, guys. John, we'll jump back in here. Considering the moment, there's a school shooting that just happened, left three children dead, three adults dead, shooters dead. And we were told he would be addressing this off the top. Yeah, it's rather surprising. I thought that a somber President Biden would have come to the podium here and addressed the school shooting. Well, how did the USA fall into such a deplorable
Starting point is 00:03:16 state of affairs? What happened to this once great nation? How did we lose our way? Where did the American people get lost on the wrong road? Perhaps clues to the answers can be found in a recent Wall Street Journal poll of American citizens. The Wall Street Journal poll reveals that patriotism, religious faith, having children, and other% said religion was very important. Compared to 70% and 62% respectively in 1998, the importance of community involvement, hard work, and tolerance for others has also declined. The only value that has grown in importance in the past 25 years is money, now considered very important by 43 percent of respondents, up from 31 percent in 1998.
Starting point is 00:04:38 The country is also sharply divided by political parties over social trends such as racial diversity in businesses and the use of gender-neutral pronouns. Well, according to Vladimir Putin, Russia and Belarus have agreed to deploy tactical nuclear weapons on Belarusian territory, with Russia having already provided military aircraft and Iskander missile systems to the country. President Vladimir Putin attributed this step to the United Kingdom's announcement about supplying ammunition with depleted uranium to Ukraine. He further clarified that Moscow is doing the same thing that the U.S. has been doing for years,
Starting point is 00:05:20 providing military aid to allies without actually transferring such weapons, and asserted that Belarus had requested this deployment of Russian nuclear weapons. During an interview with Pavel Zarubin for the Russian show Moscow Kremlin Putin that aired on Russia 24 television, Russian President Putin announced that Russia has deployed 10 aircraft capable of carrying tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus. He further noted that President Alexander Lukashenko had long asked for it. Mr. Putin mentioned that Russia and the United States were doing the same thing, but without violating international obligations
Starting point is 00:06:06 about non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. Russia had also given Belarus an Iskander missile system, which could be used as a carrier of tactical nuclear weapons as well. In addition, he explained that from April 3rd, crews will start training, and by July 1st, a special storage facility for tactical nuclear weapons is planned to be constructed in Belarus. President Putin pointed out that the United States had already done this for decades and had deployed its own tactical nukes in its allied countries such as Germany, Turkey, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Greece. Germany's Der Spiegel reported today that Berlin completed its transfer of 18 Leopard II tanks to Ukraine. The tanks boast a system of radiation, chemical, and biological protection, plus an automatic fire suppression system. Additionally, they are equipped with a 120-millimeter smoothbore gun and can carry up to 42 rounds for the main gun. It also features
Starting point is 00:07:12 two machine guns, one paired with the main gun, and the other is an anti-aircraft gun mounted on top of the roof. Additionally, Der Spiegel has reported that there were around 40 martyr infantry fighting vehicles that were also shipped, but for security reasons, the precise route was kept as a secret by German authorities. The arrival of these 18 Leopard 2 A6 tanks was later on confirmed by German Ministry of Defense, along with ammunition and spare parts in tow to Ukraine. In the same interview I mentioned earlier, Vladimir Putin stated in his interview with Pavel Zarubin on Russia 24 TV that if Ukraine uses depleted uranium shells, Russia has a response. He noted that this type of ammunition
Starting point is 00:08:01 does not qualify as weapons of mass destruction, but nevertheless, it is dangerous due to the potential spread of radioactive dust. This dust can cause health and environmental problems for those living in the affected area. Mr. Putin believes that the British Deputy Defense Minister's announcement of sending ammunition with depleted uranium to Ukraine was an attempt to disrupt the Russian-Chinese negotiations held recently. He also stated that it was on the same day that he received positive news about Chinese plans for peace in Ukraine, he found out about the Western plan to send uranium shells to Ukraine, adding that this news came right before his press conference. Annabelle Goldie confirmed London's plan to send armor-piercing shells containing depleted uranium to Ukraine, an ally of President Putin, has cautioned that if
Starting point is 00:09:09 Russia's existence were threatened, it has the weaponry to decimate any adversary, including the United States. Nikolai Petrushev, the secretary of Russia's Security Council, believes Washington is underestimating Moscow's nuclear capabilities. Well, he goes on, Doc. Excuse me, Doc. He says American politicians, this is a quote from Mr. Petrushev. He said American politicians remain confident that the U.S. is able to launch a first strike and Russia won't be able to respond. That is seriously short-sighted and dangerous,
Starting point is 00:09:48 Mr. Petrushev said in an interview with a Russian newspaper. He said, quote, Russia is patient and does not intimidate anyone with its military dominance, but it does possess modern weapons capable of wiping out any enemy should our existence be put at risk, end of quote. Shifting our focus to the Middle East, massive ongoing protests in Israel forced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to back down on his scheme to redesign his country's judicial court system. Mr. Netanyahu announced on Monday night that he was suspending the bill to change Israel's courts. Israel was thrown into political chaos and turmoil ever since the plan was first proposed. There's been talk in the country of a possible civil war between Jews who support Mr. Netanyahu
Starting point is 00:10:37 and those Jews who oppose him. Mr. Netanyahu said on Monday that he would not allow Israel to erupt into civil war among Jews. Here is a look at some of the protests that have rocked Israel in the past few days. Taiwan has lost another ally. Honduras has given Taiwan 30 days to vacate its embassy in Honduras' capital city. Honduras will invite China to open an embassy in the Central American country. Honduras' Deputy Foreign Minister Antonio Garcia said he will lead a diplomatic delegation to Beijing to discuss a possible $10 billion investment by China in Honduras. Well, the Mississippi town of Amory was hit last Friday night by a deadly tornado. Reports have 23 people dying in the Mississippi area Friday night. But a video of a local TV weather forecaster has gone viral around the world.
Starting point is 00:12:02 WTVA's Matt Lebon became visibly distressed while reporting on the tornado's trajectory. When he realized it would hit Amory, he bowed his head and prayed to Jesus Christ for protection of the people in the town. Well, here is that video. Radar error here. That's a huge radar error on that,
Starting point is 00:12:21 but that still shows likely a strong tornado here just east of Amory. How far to Amory are we talking about? Let's get a storm track that has everything I could put on it for a moment, and then I'm going to move that down just a little bit. Actually, I'm going to move it to the middle. I'm going to try to cram as much stuff on here as I can for a moment because I want to keep Amory City Grid on this. And again, assuming we're moving 65 miles per hour, I would say the western few streets in Amory were now less than two minutes away. This is a strong, life-threatening tornado
Starting point is 00:12:57 that's going to move either extremely close to Amory or in through the northern part of the city of Amory. And here's the thing about this. Y'all trust me too much. Okay? I tell you where it goes and some of you are like that's where it's going to go. But the reality is that this could be changing directions. Okay? So Amory, we need to be in our tornado safe place. We got a new scan coming in here as we speak. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Like, north side of Amory, this is coming in. Oh, man. Dear Jesus, please help them. Amen. Okay. So, he's going to track along Highway 25. Unfortunately, this is cut farther, a little bit more east. So, I have it slightly behind me there. This is going to cross the Highway 6 bridge within the next 20 seconds or so.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Doc, we need more people praying on live TV. Amen. We sure do. We can't be the only ones. We need all the help we can get, right? No, we need more people praying in this country and doing it on live television. I saw years ago in my spirit, I saw there'd be a day that news people would just start praying.
Starting point is 00:14:22 I remember you sharing that before. That the news would be so overwhelming that news reporters would just begin praying and asking God for help. That may just be the first episode.
Starting point is 00:14:40 God have mercy on all of us. I want to go back to one of the stories at the open of True News today. And this is a Wall Street Journal poll that belief in core values of this country have fallen dramatically. This is the Wall Street Journal report. America pulls back from values that once defined it. And the results are shocking, Doc.
Starting point is 00:15:15 I mean, really shocking. It's been a pretty dramatic shift, according to this poll. Yeah, but this isn't like just a few points. This is a steep, as you said, dramatic shift. I think we have some of the quotes from the poll. This is number 15. Right, so we actually have shots of the poll itself. And the first one that we're going to look at is this change that's taken place on the economy.
Starting point is 00:15:45 And we need to scroll down a little bit further, guys, to this first page here. The poll centered around core values of American citizens. They polled a large pool of people over various economic strata. And one of the things that has changed over the years has been what we consider those traditional American values, Rick. Patriotism, hard work, you know, everything that makes America kind of America. And those have declined in a big, steep way. But what's interesting is on the flip side, what has increased in value into most of the people who were polled, and that was this focus on money. And so on this particular chart here that we have, the biggest increase that we see on this chart is this now there's a higher value placed on money more than anything else. So the less that they value God, the more they value
Starting point is 00:16:56 money. And so money has become their God. Right. Well, and you know, of course, the scripture says that the love of money is the root of all evil. Money is not the root of all evil, but the love of it is. And it seems like the Americans have shifted their love for money. For me, the real shocking one was the drop in how important, what is the importance of religion in your life? And what is the importance of patriotic values in your life? And both of them have declined dramatically overall with the american people right and uh we've got this one this is number 16 that we can show and the numbers you know only 38 percent of the american people say that
Starting point is 00:17:40 that religion is important to them? I mean, we're not a Christian nation anymore, Doc. No, and for people that would maintain that we are, they're living in La La Land. We are not a Christian nation. And even the Christians... Don't consider faith important. Right. That's the point I'm making.
Starting point is 00:18:02 You've got all these people who claim, their mouth claims Christianity. They self-identify as Christians, and yet they say, religion has little value to me. And then if you combine that with other polls, such as the most recent Barna poll that just surveyed Christians and asked them about their core beliefs about Christianity, only about half of those Christians actually believe the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. In other words, you've got your wheat and tares
Starting point is 00:18:37 that are scattered in there, if you will. They all identify as Christians, but only half of them, maybe even half, are truly believers. So the tares are starting to outnumber the wheat. Right. Which is why we're in this mess as a country. It really isn't baffling to know why the country is in, I mean, why we have, like today we have a shooting in a Christian school. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:08 How did we get to this place? Because we've abandoned God. As a nation, we have abandoned God. And this was not by accident. This was by design. America has been decoupled from its connection to God, and it was by design, steadily, through propaganda. Through propaganda, through media, entertainment, education, various methods of influence was used on the American people to move them away from God.
Starting point is 00:19:50 And when you move them away from God, you also move them away from other core beliefs, such as love of country, love of your fellow man, your neighbor. Hard work. Not being lazy, but being productive. That's a biblical value. Hard work is a biblical value. If a man doesn't work, he doesn't eat. That's biblical. And we can argue about the foundations of the founding of America and everything, but let's face facts.
Starting point is 00:20:20 In the 1600s, 1700s, the majority of the people that were living here in the united states were believers they were they were strong believers they were churchgoers they were taught strong traditional doctrines they came here they came here to the american colonies for the purpose of freedom of religion. They escaped the persecution of Europe. Yes, and to freely live out their Christian faith as they understood it from the scriptures. They said it would be better to live in a colony in America in the wilderness. Yes. Than to stay in civilized Europe that's become godless.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Wow. And now America is godless. But where do we go? Yeah, where's that wilderness where you can truly live out your faith? That's a great question, Rick. There's nothing left on earth that hasn't been settled. There's no unsettled land anywhere. Where would you go?
Starting point is 00:21:28 I don't know. So the only thing that Christians can do here is to reclaim the country and it will not be done through politics. It's got to be done through repentance and discipleship. First, Christians have to repent of their own sins, and then they have to make a commitment to be discipled in the Christian faith and to return to studying this word. This word has become boring to a lot of Christians. How are you going to teach the unsaved to love God's word when people who self-identify as Christians don't love God's word? Right. When it's boring to them. They'd rather be in social media. They'd rather be watching news videos.
Starting point is 00:22:20 They would rather be on social media talking to people about just carnal issues. There's no love for God's word. And you see it in the country going down and down and down and down. And yet the people who love the country, who are patriotic, are alarmed by it but they don't connect the disconnect with god they don't connect the disconnect with god with the decline of america they think it's political they think well the democrats have done this if we got rid of the democrats we wouldn't be like this no you've got to get rid of the mindset that God is not at the center of your life, not the national life, your life. Because this poll is showing God is not in the center of the lives of what? 62% of the American people that respond to this poll.
Starting point is 00:23:23 I believe it's higher than that because even among Christians, the Word of God is not a priority for them. Rick, you love to collect old books. And one of the more fascinating things I've seen you collect are children's Sunday school books or children's primers or textbooks that were used by children in the 16, 17, 1800s where the Bible was the main textbook.
Starting point is 00:23:48 Doc, I've got in my office, in my library, I have old books from the 19th century from church Sunday schools where they were teaching the Word of God not just to toddlers, You're right, yes. To infants. And I can confirm that. Rick's shown me the book, and it says, Bible Lessons for Infants.
Starting point is 00:24:14 So children in diapers were being taken to church in America, and they were being told the Word of God. That's how much the American people cherished the Holy Bible. They said the moment that child is able to just to sit up and open his or her eyes, we're going to teach the word of God. And they were doing it. And that's why this country was morally upright and strong and unbreakable and indefeatable for decades and decades. But now look at us. Look at the mess that we're in. It's deplorable. I don't even want to look at the news anymore because it's so depressing and discouraging. But the only way to turn it around is for the Christians in this country to fall in love with God again.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Not a political candidate. Not a political movement. Not the flag. Not patriotism. You've got to fall in love with Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. There has to be this love affair.
Starting point is 00:25:29 There has to be this intimate relationship with God. It is the only way to turn this around. And this is going to take 50 years. Yes, it's not going to be a short haul. No, it's going to be a slow dig out of this hole and it's going to take at least 50 years to get out of this mess. Why do you think the transvestites and the transgenders and everything want to have these library story, drag queen story hours? Because they know the power of influencing children. Oh, there you go. So the churches in America said,
Starting point is 00:26:09 we're going to teach the Bible to infants in the crib. And what are the transvestites doing now? They're literally defiling the minds and the souls of children in diapers. We've seen this recently where they're holding these drag queen events for infants. Yes. What would an infant know about any of that?
Starting point is 00:26:35 To defile its mind and its soul. That's why. And the church world in this country is so weak and impotent that it is allowing these things to go on with hardly any opposition. Right. And we wonder why the country's in this mess, that you've got mass shootings in a Christian school. You have laws being passed that are just ungodly. It's because there's been a disconnect of the people with God.
Starting point is 00:27:12 And it was deliberate. Somebody, some group of people decades ago said, the only way to take over America is to disconnect the American people with God. That's it. There was a day our pulpits thundered with righteousness. America was great because America was good. And America was good because America had God. Yes. And it's pulpits thundered with righteous sermons that came from this book. And as long as the preachers were on fire for God and the people came to church and listened to anointed preaching, the country was incapable of being defeated. We were a mighty nation and God's blessing and favor was upon us. But starting in 1962, this country began to decouple from God. What happened in 62?
Starting point is 00:28:13 Supreme Court decision that prayer and Bible reading could not be held in public school. Up until then, it was normal for children to read the Bible in public school, to pray in public school, for prayers to be led by the teachers and the principals and the administrators. Right. And it didn't happen all at once because they were doing prayers and Bible reading when I was in grade school in the early 70s. So it took a while because there were people that were resisting that idea. In some states, yes. They held on.
Starting point is 00:28:48 But eventually, those older teachers and administrators retired, passed away, and replaced by a new group of teachers who said, we will obey the Supreme Court. And bring in drag queens. And bring in drag queens. That's where we're at now. They're teachers bringing in drag queens. And you wonder why the country's in this mess.
Starting point is 00:29:09 And you can't be backing presidential candidates that invite homosexuals to his home for political support. And then tell me that you're going to turn the country around. Right. That is insanity to think that you can turn the country around. That is insanity to think that you can turn the country around that way. The Christians have got to take a stand. And if you don't take a stand, the fight is over. It's done.
Starting point is 00:29:35 There's nothing left to save. This is the way to get out of the mess. Preach the word. Declare the word. Disciple men and women and children, even infants, baptize people into the faith. And over the next 50 years, we will restore this country if we last that long. But we have no guarantee. But there's a remnant in this country that I believe will never, ever give up. We're gonna sign off on the Word Network.
Starting point is 00:30:05 We will continue in a few minutes on the other side. Thanks for watching. Hey, welcome back. Before Doc and I get into the rest of the discussion, I need to make an announcement. I've been meaning to do this for a week or two. So our plan hoped, we hoped to take a trip to Jordan this spring, and I had to cancel it.
Starting point is 00:30:41 I had to just postpone it. I tried and I tried and I tried. And what happened was the prices kept going up. And Doc, you watch this happen. And what's happening is that tourism is just, it's roaring back in the Middle East, in the Holy Land. And hotels are filled up. And hotels are filled up. The airlines are filled up.
Starting point is 00:31:06 And we were trying to take a much bigger group. We were trying to take 100 people in this one. The last time we took 50. This time we were doubling it because of the response that we got from our True News audience, people who we asked, would you be interested in going to jordan in in uh may and we got a huge response so we said okay let's let's double it let's go for 100 actually trying to get 100 was actually actually made our job more difficult because they were it was difficult to get 100 hotel rooms to get 100 seats on airlines.
Starting point is 00:31:48 But every time we would, especially with the airlines, we'd get a price, and before we could even make a decision, the next day the prices would jump $300, $400. And it just reached a point that the last trip we took, if you went on that trip, I'm telling you, you got the bargain of a lifetime. Because what was it, $2,950? Right.
Starting point is 00:32:15 This time, it was pushing $5,000. Okay. That's how big of a jump. So I just said, you know what? It's too big of a financial risk for us because we had to put the money down. The prices were climbing. The airlines were demanding huge deposits. Hotels were demanding the deposits.
Starting point is 00:32:43 And I just said, you know what, I don't have a good feeling about this. I just don't have peace about it. So we postponed it. And if the Lord allows us, we'll go back in the fall, probably shoot much lower. Probably take it back down to 50 people, maybe even down to 30. We'll see.
Starting point is 00:33:06 But there is a lot of interest in the True News audience in going to Jordan. I did my best. I just, you know, with the prices going so high, I wasn't confident that if the price getting up close to $5,000, if we committed to 100 seats, would we get 100 people to pay five?
Starting point is 00:33:26 I didn't know. And it was too risky for us financially to do it. It was a risk to the audience too. So understand that. And that, you know, we want to make the most affordable price that we can for the trip. And when you start talking $4,000 or $5,000,
Starting point is 00:33:43 and there are people that can afford that, but I would say that there's probably a larger group that could afford a lower price point but that's not per per couple that's per person person so for for a couple it was pushing towards ten thousand dollars for a couple and uh it's a great trip but at the same time we don't want to break your bank okay but everybody seems to be running back to the Holy Land. And we were told by one travel agency, if you want to bring 100 people, we can book you for sometime in 2025. Wow. So that's where it's at right now. Did my best. Well, listen, we were talking about the Wall Street Journal poll.
Starting point is 00:34:30 The next thing I want to talk about is President Trump held a rally in Waco, Texas over the weekend. And, man, the media has really gone after him. Drudge report, if Matt Drudge is still there, I'm not even sure he's still there. I personally suspect he sold out a couple years ago. Nobody sees him, nobody knows. There was a radical change in the Drudge Report, you know, politically. Right. Report, you know, politically.
Starting point is 00:35:10 So, you know, he's been blasting President Trump a lot for the past two years. And so, you know, the Drudge Report had the Waco wacko, you know, just stuff that is unnecessary. And they made it sound like he went to Waco because he was trying to stir up the Branch Davidians. How about Waco is just a good town in Texas? How about it's a good American city and he wanted to have a... It's probably one of the most American cities.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Yeah, it's a great city. And anyhow, they've done everything they can. But President Trump played a video. Now, here you go. This is New York Post today. Trump recites Pledge of Allegiance in collaboration on a new song with the J6 Prison Choir, a January 6 prison choir. And, each one had their entitled phone call.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Right. And they sang, individually, they sang the Star-Spangled Banner. And then somebody assembled all the voices together into one recording, and President Trump then narrated the song and uh when you understand what this how this came about that these are americans in prison over a political persecution over what happened on january 6th which is very obvious now that the government, the U.S. government,
Starting point is 00:37:08 had provocateurs, infiltrators there, helped orchestrate the event, and TIFO was there. It's very obvious. And it is one of the dirtiest things that's ever been done in this country by a very dirty FBI. So anyhow, I want to play the audio for you.
Starting point is 00:37:33 This is what he played at the Waco rally. I pledge allegiance to the flag for which it stands One nation, under God Let our flag once again be red. One nation, under God. Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. You do the right thing! You do the right thing! You do the right thing! You do the right thing! You do the right thing! You do the right thing! Very powerful recording. What are your thoughts, Doc? I mean, anytime I hear the star spangled banner that you know makes me proud to be an american but i was born and raised in maryland it was it was
Starting point is 00:40:15 written in maryland so um but on at the same at the same time there are a lot of people that are sitting in jail right now because of January 6th that don't necessarily have to have been there that day. I think that, like you said, the FBI baited a large group of people to do some very wrong things that day. I think Donald Trump has some responsibility in it as well. He could have easily said, you know, hey whatever you do don't go inside the Capitol. You know, he easily, but he said let's go to the Capitol. And then he didn't go. Then he didn't go. So this is kind of hard to walk through on this because I can't support Donald Trump personally because of the fact that he has the support of the homosexuals. I mean, really, he does.
Starting point is 00:41:17 So it's within the conservative movement. I don't know how you can be conservative and gay, but apparently there are. So I cannot, you know, endorse that. And so when I see things like this, I want to be patriotic. I want to be, you know, defend the nation, but also have to be realistic that we are in a political campaign right now. And there are a lot of political things that are going to be going on that are going to be used by both sides to provide propaganda and manipulate us. I say we really have to pray in these next couple years as we move toward the general election.
Starting point is 00:41:59 I hope we're praying all the time for God to provide us the discernment for the leader that we need for this nation and not just have a popularity contest or someone that makes us feel good, but someone that we really need. Is it Governor DeSantis? Is it Donald Trump? Who is it?
Starting point is 00:42:20 That's the question. It seems like in many ways, and the Bible kind of confirms this, that we are given the leadership we deserve. And what does that mean? You know, one sleeper candidate out there is Tim Scott. Well, that's a possibility too. And now there's new names that are popping up that I've never heard of before, like the Raja Swami who's popped up.
Starting point is 00:42:41 He's saying all the right things. That bothers me too. And so my distrust of the government and the electoral system and everything started back for me back way back in the 90s. And so I already have that inherently built in today. Plus my reading of the scriptures tells me that eventually all nations and civilizations deteriorate and they go to sin. So, Doc, I know you were traveling last week, but did you see the social media post that President Trump put out on Friday of him swinging a baseball bat? Yes, right. And I know the media kind of built on that and everything.
Starting point is 00:43:27 But the fact of the matter is he reposted it. And as you say more often than not, it seems like Donald Trump is his own worst enemy at times. All right, so really carrying around a baseball bat with a superimposed picture of a black attorney general. Or district attorney. District attorney, sorry. Not the best. It doesn't have the best optics, if you will. Not when you're under investigation. Nothing wrong with the president swinging a baseball bat, but that ought to be because you're talking about baseball.
Starting point is 00:44:02 Right. Not that you're swinging at a DA's head. But what I said last week was that for a couple days, Donald Trump had everything going in his favor. Right. People were realizing that Alvin Bragg had a rigged system going. And, you know, when Robert Costello came out with the information that he had given Mr. Bragg,
Starting point is 00:44:32 that was devastating. Right. All that had to happen at that point is for everybody to just be quiet. Yeah, shut your mouth. But then Donald Trump then comes out with the baseball bat photo next to the DA. And then also in his social media post talks about death and destruction.
Starting point is 00:44:52 So how are you supposed to read that? And let's not forget the elephant in the room. Trump endorsed the vaccine, named it after himself. He wanted to call it the Trump vaccine. Trump scene. He wanted to be the Trump scene. And he can be as critical of Dr. Fauci today as he wants to be, but he was there the whole time
Starting point is 00:45:13 Donald Trump was in office. I don't think he has really criticized Dr. Fauci. You're right. Ron DeSantis brought that up Saturday and pointed out that... Oh, you're right about that. He pointed out that Donald Trump was an're right about that. He pointed out that Donald Trump was an admirer of Mr. Fauci.
Starting point is 00:45:29 And Governor DeSantis said, hey, the difference between me and Donald Trump is I would have fired Fauci. So there's a dividing line coming inside the MAGA movement. Are you pro-Trump, anti-vaccine? Because that doesn't jive. You can't be pro-Trump and anti-vaccine because Trump is pro-vaccine. Are you pro-Trump and anti-homosexual rights? That doesn't jive because Donald Trump is pro-homosexual rights.
Starting point is 00:46:08 He bragged that he was the most gay-friendly president in the history of the country. So we go back to that Wall Street Journal poll. How did this country get in this mess? Because we disconnected from God and His Holy Word. And you know, in many ways, Donald Trump confirms that poll. because we disconnected from God and His Holy Word. And you know, in many ways, Donald Trump confirms that poll because- His love of money. That's right.
Starting point is 00:46:32 I mean- Money says God. Yes. I mean, what better president for a country that loves money but a billionaire? Someone who makes money his image. I mean, really, isn't- When you think of Donald Trump, you who makes money his image. I mean, really, when you think of Donald Trump, you think of money.
Starting point is 00:46:48 So he's not restoring America. He's leading America to its destruction. Wouldn't you say? Yes. I mean, if you're leading it away from God, because I've yet to hear Donald Trump in a sincere, personal way confess his belief in Jesus Christ. I've never heard it.
Starting point is 00:47:12 I'm waiting on a man to say that he's a sinner, that he needs Christ, that he has humbled himself before God and wants the Holy Spirit to change him. I would love to hear that. I'd be delighted to hear that. I'd love to hear it out of Joe Biden. I want to hear those words out of everybody, but I don't hear them. And so that's what makes me cautious. He went after, at the Waco rally, he went after Governor DeSantis. And his supporters did not respond. Here's the New York Post, Trump, Texas rally falls quiet after he mocks Ron DeSantis. I don't think Mr. Trump has figured out that the mood in 2023 is not the same as 2016. It's just not the same. A lot of us are not looking for a rude bruiser
Starting point is 00:48:15 to get in the race and just say anything he wants to say, act any way he wants to act. It was somewhat entertaining in 2016 because we watched the political establishment in the Republican and Democratic side both wet their pants. They collapsed. They wet their pants. So it was amusing. But it's not amusing now.
Starting point is 00:48:39 It's not amusing. Because he's using some of the same tactics that he used before. Like, you know, there were reports that he was using some of the same tactics that he used before. Like, you know, there were reports that he was using the term Meatball Ron. Yes. You know, that was one thing back in 2016 where, you know, where he was calling other candidates names
Starting point is 00:48:59 and those names stuck. Right. I mean, to this day, it's Lion Ted, right? Right. And Ted Cruz is a reporter. It's a character assassination. And it's against this
Starting point is 00:49:11 word. It's character assassination. And all of us have to watch our words. And not tear down the character of somebody else. And I'm preaching to myself, too.
Starting point is 00:49:31 We all have to conform our words to this book. And what I would like to see out of Donald Trump is a man that says, you know, I'm not the same guy in 2023. I wasn't in 2016. Right. I've learned something. I've learned. I was in 2016. Right, I've learned something. I've learned, I've matured, I've gotten closer to God, and I'm a different man. But he's trying to show us that he's the same guy in 2016. He's the same guy, the name caller, the fighter.
Starting point is 00:50:01 And maybe that appeals to some people. I'm sure it does. It just, it doesn't appeal to me now. And it's, I'm disappointed in it. I want a leader. I don't want a 78-year-old man that's a 14- old with arrested development. And I don't want a 14 year old and a 78 year old body. I want a mature leader. And I'm looking around and I'm not seeing a lot right now. I'm still very, very supportive of Governor DeSantis. There's some things I have some issues with him, you know. But overall, right now he is, I didn't like the Governor DeSantis a week ago. Caved the moment the warmongers came after him. Right.
Starting point is 00:51:03 That was disappointing to me. Yeah, he came out, had earlier said, hey, the way I look at Ukraine, it's a border dispute. I said, all right. So now we're talking. And then a few days later, the war machine kicked in. That's because the Lindsey Grahams of the Republican Party said, hey, Governor, if you want to be the nominee,
Starting point is 00:51:22 you've got to be a warmonger. And they started calling him names. Yes. Coward and things like that. Right. And, you know, so it's a game that's played. You know what it comes down to? There's no hope in any man.
Starting point is 00:51:39 Right. That's what it comes down to. No man is going to lead us out of this mess. And there is no candidate potential candidate democrat or republican of either major parties that is not for the war in ukraine every one of them are every one of even uh remember marianne williamson yes oh the perennial democrat the new ager the new ager even she came out the other day and said she was in favor of the war in Ukraine. Now, when you can get the New Age mystics
Starting point is 00:52:10 to endorse war in Ukraine, you've really done something. But that's how far it has gone. And there's no candidate on either side. You've got the Haley's, the Pompeo's, the whoever else on the Democrat side that they either dig up or, you know, prop up going into 2024, they all are in favor of war in Ukraine. We should not be in Ukraine. If one candidate, just one candidate would be brave enough
Starting point is 00:52:39 and say, you know what, let's leave Ukraine. Let's quit sending money. Let's quit sending weapons there. It's not our business. If just one would do it, I mean, it would probably would change the politics, but they probably wouldn't let them live long, would they? No. The war machine is very, very powerful in this country. I want to go back to that Trump rally in Waco. This is a video of Mr. Trump mocking Governor DeSantis.
Starting point is 00:53:07 But just take notice of how quiet the Trump supporters were. They felt uneasy. They didn't like it. You know, it wasn't like he was attacking Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. He was attacking Governor DeSantis. And I think they were, I think his supporters were troubled. They felt uneasy by Mr. Trump bad-mouthing Governor DeSantis. And I think they were, I think his supporters were troubled. They felt uneasy by Mr. Trump bad-mouthing Governor DeSantis. Let's watch it.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Keep saying, oh, I think DeSantis can do okay with farmers. I don't think so. Based on polls, he's not doing okay with anything. Well, it's never good to try and destroy Social Security. It's never good to raise the minimum age to a very high level, which was not good, and to go against Medicare and try and obliterate it. These are a few of the good facts. It's also not good when you look statistically at how he did on COVID, not well at all. He's in a very bad position. Yeah, that's different than what I remember
Starting point is 00:54:10 in the state of Florida. Yeah. Florida did quite well. We were not one of the mask mandate states. There was no state mask mandate, no mandate on vaccines at any time time, there were cities and counties in Florida that had mask mandates and vaccine mandates, but Governor DeSantis persuaded the legislature to pass a statewide ban that prohibits cities and counties in Florida from having those mask mandates.
Starting point is 00:54:47 So his record was very good. Mr. Trump gave us Mr. Fauci. He appointed Fauci as his COVID advisor. Right. He met with Fauci continuously for two years. Mr. Trump is the one who signed off on the vaccines and then boasted how fast he got the vaccines to market they're his vaccines as you said he wanted them to be called Trump scenes he's to this day he's never backed down on those vaccines. Does he not know what they are? Or does he know what they are? Which is worse? Tell me which is worse. Which one is worse? That Donald Trump does not understand that those vaccines were not vaccines, that what he signed off on and pushed and got the Pentagon to drive it, that they were not real vaccines, that they were genetic operating systems. Is it better that he does not understand
Starting point is 00:55:53 that or that he did know what he was doing? Which one do you want? Because either one is pretty bad. It means he's not a leader. He's not the leader. I already experienced the Trump thing one time. I don't want it again unless he changes. He has to change. Most likely, before anybody gets mad at me, I'm probably going to
Starting point is 00:56:21 be neutral. I'm probably just going to be neutral through this campaign because I don't want to get involved in it. I let everybody out there, you can have your choices. I'm just not going to get involved in it. In the primaries, I'm not going to get involved in the primaries. At this point, I don't think I'll get involved in the primaries. I just don't want to get the slop on me again because that's what you get. You get slop. People get angry at you. And no matter who you support or don't support, I mean, that's the way it is. Yeah, people become very hateful over it.
Starting point is 00:57:04 And I just don't want to do it. I want to just preach the gospel. I want people to be saved. I enjoy doing morning manna so much. We're having fun doing that, aren't we? Doc and I, we do two shows a day. We do True News and we do morning manna. True News, I have to work at it all day long.
Starting point is 00:57:20 I have to work at it. It's dreary. It's life draining. It sucks the energy and the joy out of you because you're talking about this stuff. You're looking at it. You're working on it all day long. Morning, man. We just come out here with no preparation. We just come out and talk about Jesus. It's so easy. It's so happy and joyful. And then I got to go to the true news. We're talking about garbage
Starting point is 00:57:48 and we're talking about war and we're talking about transvestites and drag queens. You know, it's like, I'd rather just talk about Jesus. That's where I'm at in my life. Because I've come to the conclusion there's nothing going to change anything
Starting point is 00:58:03 except Jesus. And Jesus changes men's hearts. Yes. Before he can change nations, before he can change cities, he has to change men's hearts. Yes. And that's the real problem here in our nation is we have shifted from a worship of God to a worship of some sort of patriotism mixed together with the flag and a little bit of God thrown in there for good measure. It's something else, but it's definitely not Christianity. That's for sure.
Starting point is 00:58:35 And there's groups of people out there called America First and everything that mix a little bit of Christianity with nationalism and stuff like that. And they're just as deceived. They're just as deceived. So our nation needs a heart transplant. That's what it really needs.
Starting point is 00:58:53 You get people that are patriotic for a nation, but not a kingdom. And you've got to become patriotic for the kingdom of God. That's where your heart, your passion's got to be. You've got to become patriotic for the kingdom of God. That's where your heart, your passion's got to be. You've got to be patriotic for the kingdom of God. So when you see a candidate or a politician inviting radical homosexual activists into his or her home to tell them, I am your candidate. I will help you get your agenda
Starting point is 00:59:28 done. Then if you are a disciple of Christ, if your patriotism is to the kingdom of God, you automatically know, I can't help that person. I just can't. I can't help that person because that person is against the kingdom. And if they're against the kingdom, they are against my king and my loyalty is to King Jesus. You're not going to persuade me to be disloyal to King Jesus. It ain't going to happen. I am radical for Jesus Christ. I'm not backing down. I don't care who it is. I'm not backing down other than my allegiance to Jesus Christ. That's it for today. I'll see you tomorrow. God bless. You have been listening to True News with Rick Wiles.
